- 1:45Speaker 5: Turn out the water of the Monica.
- 1:49Speaker 6: Look, come.
- 1:58Speaker 5: Come out, you're thinking.
- 2:01Speaker 7: Huh, I sure will. Good morning everybody. You're listening to
- 2:06Speaker 7: the voice, Come on, dig me now.
- 2:08Speaker 5: One and only.
- 2:08Speaker 7: Steve Harvey got a radio show. Oh man, Steve Harvey
- 2:13Speaker 7: got a radio show because God. Because God is simply amazing,
- 2:17Speaker 7: because God is off the chain, because God is over
- 2:21Speaker 7: the top, because God is all that in a bag
- 2:24Speaker 7: of chips.
- 2:25Speaker 5: God is amazing. Man.
- 2:27Speaker 7: God will take you places that you never ever thought
- 2:31Speaker 7: you would go, or you know what its. Sometimes it
- 2:34Speaker 7: amazes me when I'm watching people talk about themselves and
- 2:38Speaker 7: their careers and where they're at in life and things,
- 2:41Speaker 7: and they and I hear people say, you know, always
- 2:45Speaker 7: dreamed of being here. You know, I can understand when
- 2:48Speaker 7: a person says that I've always dreamed that of something
- 2:52Speaker 7: like this would happen to me. But I want you
- 2:54Speaker 7: to think about that for a second. Did you really
- 2:59Speaker 7: see just like that though? Did you really really see
- 3:04Speaker 7: it just like that? Did you really know that God
- 3:10Speaker 7: was going to bring you through all he brought you
- 3:13Speaker 7: through to get you to this place? Did you know that,
- 3:17Speaker 7: in spite of the losses along the way that would
- 3:20Speaker 7: crumbled the average person, that somehow He kept you through
- 3:24Speaker 7: it all and that's how you got here?
- 3:28Speaker 5: Did you think of you know? I mean, you know,
- 3:30Speaker 5: I mean, since you're so busy talking about yourself now,
- 3:34Speaker 5: have you.
- 3:34Speaker 7: Forgotten all the times He was bringing you through when
- 3:39Speaker 7: you didn't see no way that you was gonna get through?
- 3:43Speaker 5: Do you remember that?
- 3:44Speaker 7: So when you sit there and you say, I dreamed
- 3:48Speaker 7: of this, this is what I always saw happening, I
- 3:51Speaker 7: don't really think. So, I don't really think. If you
- 3:54Speaker 7: take inventory, or real close inventory of your life and
- 3:58Speaker 7: you look back on it all st at the moment
- 4:00Speaker 7: right now, remember where you come from.
- 4:03Speaker 5: See, that's what gets me emotional.
- 4:05Speaker 7: Sometimes, that's what makes me tear up, because when something
- 4:08Speaker 7: is happening to me in the moment, it ain't the
- 4:11Speaker 7: moment for.
- 4:12Speaker 5: Me, it's the memory of how I got there.
- 4:16Speaker 7: It's the recollection of all the things, all the nights,
- 4:21Speaker 7: all the days in that car, all the times by
- 4:24Speaker 7: myself when I felt like I wasn't gonna make it.
- 4:27Speaker 7: But somehow I'm standing somewhere and somebody passing out on
- 4:31Speaker 7: the ward to me or somebody calling my name, that's that.
- 4:35Speaker 5: Did you really think you was gonna make it?
- 4:37Speaker 2: Then?
- 4:38Speaker 5: So so so, since you're talking about this is what
- 4:40Speaker 5: I always dreamed?
- 4:41Speaker 7: Did you really think in those moments right there that
- 4:45Speaker 7: you would even be standing here today? That's why I
- 4:47Speaker 7: try to I try to get people to understand, you know,
- 4:50Speaker 7: and and and and and this is kind of for
- 4:52Speaker 7: young people today what I'm about to say. But then
- 4:55Speaker 7: guess what I sometimes I had to remind myself of it,
- 4:58Speaker 7: So I guess it's still kind of for every you know,
- 5:01Speaker 7: because I work with a lot of young people, and
- 5:04Speaker 7: so many times, man, young people just don't understand what
- 5:09Speaker 7: all it takes. And I know, and if you're a
- 5:12Speaker 7: full grown adult, if you're forty, you really understanding where
- 5:16Speaker 7: I'm coming from, because.
- 5:17Speaker 6: You know.
- 5:20Speaker 7: It's listen to me, young people or anybody that don't
- 5:23Speaker 7: understand this, that you got to do some things that
- 5:27Speaker 7: you don't want to do in order to do what
- 5:30Speaker 7: you want to do, you have to understand this principle
- 5:34Speaker 7: of success or else you are not going to become successful.
- 5:39Speaker 5: I got what you want to do. I got your
- 5:42Speaker 5: ultimate goal? Is this, that, and the other? I got
- 5:45Speaker 5: all of that.
- 5:45Speaker 7: But in the meantime, though, there are some necessary steps
- 5:50Speaker 7: that you have to take in order to become successful,
- 5:53Speaker 7: and you cannot skip these steps.
- 5:56Speaker 5: You can't jump over these steps just because you want
- 5:58Speaker 5: to be rich Friday, I got that. I got that.
- 6:02Speaker 5: Everybody got that.
- 6:04Speaker 7: But if you want this, whatever you're talking about, whether
- 6:07Speaker 7: it's money or success or fame or climbing the corporate
- 6:11Speaker 7: letter or this is the position or you all, that's
- 6:14Speaker 7: fine and damn please hold on to your dreams. Dreams
- 6:18Speaker 7: come true. But in the meantime, let me remind you
- 6:23Speaker 7: of something that you gotta do some things you don't
- 6:26Speaker 7: want to do in order to do what you want
- 6:30Speaker 7: to do. Let's say you want to be rich and famous.
- 6:32Speaker 7: Let's just say that's it for you. Now, it's a
- 6:35Speaker 7: lot of other ways of being successful. Please don't think
- 6:37Speaker 7: that's the only one. But I'm just saying, let's just
- 6:39Speaker 7: say yos is rich and famous. And let's say some
- 6:43Speaker 7: miraculous way God made you rich and famous? Next Friday?
- 6:49Speaker 7: Ta dad d y'all you rich and you famous? Next Friday?
- 6:53Speaker 7: Can I share something with you? This is not going
- 6:55Speaker 7: to last for you. You know why because you have
- 6:58Speaker 7: not done the thing it's necessary. You have not done
- 7:03Speaker 7: the things that you have to do in order to
- 7:06Speaker 7: do the things you want. So now you're rich and famous,
- 7:10Speaker 7: How you gonna know how to budget money? How you
- 7:14Speaker 7: gonna know how to get up and keep clawing towards
- 7:17Speaker 7: the top when you fall off your pedestal.
- 7:20Speaker 5: See, it's so many things.
- 7:22Speaker 7: You got to know about something, and you think because
- 7:26Speaker 7: it's what you want right now, it's supposed to happen
- 7:28Speaker 7: just now. It's a process. When you ask God for something.
- 7:31Speaker 7: Please know God know the process. He know the necessary
- 7:35Speaker 7: steps to take you through. Don't lose your patience with
- 7:38Speaker 7: God because your dreams ain't coming true right now?
- 7:43Speaker 5: Man?
- 7:45Speaker 7: You know, I think the best way y'all is for me.
- 7:47Speaker 7: I just use myself as an example. I really do
- 7:50Speaker 7: understand why God has given me the life he's given
- 7:53Speaker 7: me so far. I understand the being homeless part. Now
- 7:57Speaker 7: I get to not being successful when I want it
- 8:00Speaker 7: two part? Now I get it I got the delayed
- 8:03Speaker 7: entry into the field of choice for myself.
- 8:06Speaker 5: I got it now.
- 8:07Speaker 7: I've been wanting to be on TV and a little
- 8:09Speaker 7: comedian since I was nine years old. But guess what,
- 8:12Speaker 7: I didn't get there until I was twenty eight. But
- 8:15Speaker 7: see I didn't get it. Then I was mad at God.
- 8:18Speaker 7: You know what I want, and I'm senterm in here.
- 8:20Speaker 7: I got exactly what you want, but I got this process.
- 8:23Speaker 7: I want you to go through to get here too,
- 8:25Speaker 7: because see I'm finna take you somewhere. You don't know nothing,
- 8:28Speaker 7: but one day you're gonna have a radio show with
- 8:30Speaker 7: your a little stupid behind. You don't know this shit.
- 8:32Speaker 7: I'm gonna bless you with a radio show. You don't
- 8:34Speaker 7: even know it. That's why I say every morning, Steve
- 8:37Speaker 7: Harvey got a radio show. Because see, I didn't see
- 8:40Speaker 7: this one coming. But see God had planned for me.
- 8:42Speaker 7: It was in the blueprint of my life. So God said,
- 8:45Speaker 7: what I'm gonna do is I'm gonna make your life
- 8:47Speaker 7: a little rough for you. I'm gonna toss you up
- 8:50Speaker 7: a little bit. I'm gonna let you make some of
- 8:53Speaker 7: these stupid decisions you wanna make, and I'm gonna make
- 8:55Speaker 7: you learn from them. I'm gonna let you be homeless
- 8:59Speaker 7: for a little while. I'm gonna let you not get
- 9:01Speaker 7: into your field of choice until you're twenty eight. I'm
- 9:04Speaker 7: gonna have people talking about if we had only seen
- 9:06Speaker 7: him when he was younger. I ain't gonna let you
- 9:08Speaker 7: get your first con your name to your thirty eight.
- 9:11Speaker 7: I'm gonna make you go through some things because one
- 9:14Speaker 7: day I'm gonna put a microphone in front of your mouth,
- 9:16Speaker 7: and I want you to honor me.
- 9:18Speaker 5: I want you to talk about me. I want you
- 9:20Speaker 5: to tell people what I bought you through.
- 9:22Speaker 7: I want you to give people inspirational moments where they
- 9:25Speaker 7: can see that your life was jacked up for a
- 9:28Speaker 7: minute and I turned your life around for you.
- 9:30Speaker 5: That's God dealing with me. See.
- 9:33Speaker 7: So now I finally understand why I went through the
- 9:36Speaker 7: life I went through, so I can have something to say. See,
- 9:40Speaker 7: I ain't over here telling you about what I think
- 9:42Speaker 7: will happen. I'm telling you what I know can happen.
- 9:45Speaker 7: That God does make dreams come true, but sometime it
- 9:49Speaker 7: take a minute. Sometimes you're gonna have to do some
- 9:51Speaker 7: things you don't want to do in order to do
- 9:53Speaker 7: what you wanna do.
- 9:55Speaker 5: All right, all let you.
- 9:56Speaker 8: I'm gonna be tripping the day you're listening.
- 10:03Speaker 7: Ladies, ladies and gentlemen. Ladies, ladies and gentlemen. Okay, last time.
- 10:11Speaker 9: This is it.
- 10:11Speaker 5: I ain't gonna lie.
- 10:12Speaker 7: Ladies and gentlemen, boys, all the girls, truck driver, waste management, love,
- 10:24Speaker 7: postal workers. I'm talking about when they mad though, that
- 10:27Speaker 7: postal worker, all them happy people down at the DMV.
- 10:32Speaker 7: What is wrong today? Well, my message today is everybody
- 10:36Speaker 7: work at the DMV that has that attitude. Get your
- 10:39Speaker 7: attitude together, amer, because God is still good here in
- 10:42Speaker 7: the blessing business.
- 10:44Speaker 5: You put in the application for that job. That is
- 10:48Speaker 5: not our fault.
- 10:49Speaker 7: We love you, we need your services today. We want
- 10:52Speaker 7: you to have a brighter day to day. My wish
- 10:55Speaker 7: is that people that work in motor vehicle divisions all
- 10:59Speaker 7: over the current have a better day today. Or I
- 11:03Speaker 7: know we coming in that ignan. I know we ain't
- 11:05Speaker 7: got our paperwork. I know we ain't got our title registration.
- 11:08Speaker 7: I know we'd have lost our tags. I know all that,
- 11:11Speaker 7: But try to treat us better.
- 11:14Speaker 5: Just try let your church say man, hey.
- 11:20Speaker 7: Charlie strang Berry calling freil mounta the South Junior Boy
- 11:24Speaker 7: better known as kids Face and the legend that is
- 11:26Speaker 7: Nephew Tommins.
- 11:28Speaker 10: Yeah, boy, Junia, what's happening today? Let me tell you something.
- 11:33Speaker 10: You know, I don't mind taking advice from you on.
- 11:36Speaker 10: You know, y'all don't mind that because you live the longer,
- 11:39Speaker 10: you're in a better position. You know, you've done a
- 11:42Speaker 10: lot more. So I don't mind tinger. But everybody shouldn't
- 11:45Speaker 10: try to give everybody advice. Like my Pott caught me
- 11:48Speaker 10: over to his house the other day, which I thought
- 11:49Speaker 10: was his house.
- 11:51Speaker 5: I go over there.
- 11:51Speaker 10: Man, were watching basketball, and he trying to tell me
- 11:54Speaker 10: what he expects to tell me about what I need
- 11:57Speaker 10: to do with my life and my career.
- 11:59Speaker 3: He talking to me.
- 12:00Speaker 10: But in the middle of us talking, I hear a
- 12:02Speaker 10: voice coming from upstairs and we in the basement. I
- 12:04Speaker 10: had another voice call, say, Charle, come up here and
- 12:07Speaker 10: get the groceries out of the car.
- 12:09Speaker 1: I said, man, who is that?
- 12:10Speaker 10: He said, that's my mama. I'm taking no invice when
- 12:12Speaker 10: nobody live with they. Mama, I tell you right now,
- 12:14Speaker 10: I'll give damn what you say. You can't tell me
- 12:17Speaker 10: a damn thing.
- 12:18Speaker 1: We couldn't he couldn't.
- 12:19Speaker 10: Even get that advice out because she kept calling back down, said, Charle,
- 12:22Speaker 10: you've been messing with the thermostat.
- 12:24Speaker 3: But I said, okay, see right here, see it right
- 12:26Speaker 3: here way. I can't take no invice from you.
- 12:28Speaker 10: Hey, the damn thing you can tell me because you

- 12:34Speaker 3: No, the basement yours. This is your mama house.
- 12:37Speaker 5: Sit out.
- 12:38Speaker 10: When I found out she's gonna tell about man, I
- 12:40Speaker 10: appreciate wherever they char See, we couldn't even get that
- 12:45Speaker 10: advice in because your mama on your hind the whole time.
- 12:48Speaker 10: Don't tell me what you think I need to do
- 12:49Speaker 10: with my life. If you're living at your mama, baby,
- 12:52Speaker 10: we can't take it vite for everybody. It ain't the same,
- 12:54Speaker 10: coming bunt, Stephen, Tommy, it ain't the same, for sure,
- 12:57Speaker 10: the same couple of calls.
- 12:58Speaker 3: See, they don't live with nobody. They got placed. They
- 13:00Speaker 3: got You need to start listening to me.
- 13:03Speaker 8: What you start.
- 13:05Speaker 3: Starting starting listening to me?
- 13:08Speaker 5: He even control his own heat, No, he can't.
- 13:12Speaker 1: Do none of that.
- 13:13Speaker 10: Sure, you have the tallest seat up again, see right here,
- 13:17Speaker 10: you got other issues and you try to tell me something.
- 13:22Speaker 5: Why all the way upstairs.
- 13:26Speaker 3: You always got ill be back.
- 13:27Speaker 6: I can't see.
- 13:28Speaker 3: I can't take no advice.
- 13:29Speaker 6: I'm not.
- 13:33Speaker 8: A good one coming up and dirt woman. After an hour,
- 13:38Speaker 8: you need, we're gonna run that prank back with the
- 13:40Speaker 8: nephew right after this. You're listening Hardy Morning Show. It
- 13:47Speaker 8: is time now for the nephew to run that prank back.
- 13:50Speaker 8: What you got for us now? I'm scared.
- 13:52Speaker 5: Well, Shirley, I need I need a little makeup done.

- 14:08Speaker 6: You can't highly recommend it. You actually you're you actually are.
- 14:11Speaker 6: I'm sorry. I don't know if I'm saying it right.
- 14:13Speaker 6: As a makeup artist, makeup styleist, what do you call it?
- 14:16Speaker 11: It's makeup artists. I'm a professional makeup artists.
- 14:18Speaker 6: Okay, And you work at the you work with the
- 14:21Speaker 6: makeup counter and correct Okay, listen, I got a I
- 14:24Speaker 6: got a photo shoot coming up, and I wanted to
- 14:27Speaker 6: see about uh, sometime this week, maybe the following week,
- 14:31Speaker 6: you could actually come and and I hire you to
- 14:33Speaker 6: actually make me up with my photo shoot. Is do
- 14:36Speaker 6: you do a lot of photo shoots at all or you?
- 14:39Speaker 11: Yes, sir, I should do. I've been in the business
- 14:40Speaker 11: for ten years, so I've been around there were photo shoots.
- 14:44Speaker 6: Okay, good deal. So what's what I mean? You have
- 14:46Speaker 6: any time this week that I can actually just come
- 14:48Speaker 6: in and we can do like a trial run or something.
- 14:50Speaker 11: Yeah, I'll actually be here Friday for about six hours.
- 14:54Speaker 11: Will Friday work for you? I'm here, I start at.
- 14:57Speaker 6: Eleven, at eleven, I mean I could come in like
- 14:59Speaker 6: maybe like around three on Friday if you if can
- 15:01Speaker 6: you squeeze me in at that time?
- 15:03Speaker 11: I sure can?
- 15:04Speaker 6: Okay? What's what's so good? Is there a certain makeup
- 15:06Speaker 6: for for men?
- 15:08Speaker 11: Whether it works out, it works out the same as
- 15:11Speaker 11: for women in Toto shoots. You just need some type
- 15:13Speaker 11: of cream foundation, something even out the skin tone, uh
- 15:16Speaker 11: powder you down to take away the oils, cover up
- 15:19Speaker 11: any blimishes or anything like that. It's pretty much the same.
- 15:21Speaker 11: Of course, you don't get the whole eyeshadow and lashes.
- 15:24Speaker 6: And stuff right right, right, right right, well, I'm not
- 15:26Speaker 6: all that, but I just trying to, you know, just
- 15:28Speaker 6: trying to look good on camera. Let me ask you this,
- 15:32Speaker 6: how much makeup have you done as far as men?
- 15:35Speaker 6: You know what I mean?
- 15:36Speaker 11: Yeah, Okay, I'm very comfortable with it. You'll be fine,
- 15:39Speaker 11: trust me.
- 15:40Speaker 6: That's what I was really worried about it if you
- 15:41Speaker 6: were going to be comfortable with it, because I mean,
- 15:43Speaker 6: have you done I'm a little conscientious about a few things,
- 15:48Speaker 6: you know what I mean? And uh, have you have
- 15:51Speaker 6: you how many butts have you done?
- 15:53Speaker 11: I'm sorry, how many.
- 15:55Speaker 6: What like butts? You know? How many butts have you
- 15:57Speaker 6: made up?
- 15:59Speaker 11: I have made up any but like you mean like asses?
- 16:03Speaker 6: Yeah, I mean, because see my I'm actually doing a
- 16:05Speaker 6: nude photo shoot and uh, you know, I got a
- 16:08Speaker 6: couple of scratches and you know, some old scars on
- 16:11Speaker 6: my butt, and I you know, like like you said,
- 16:14Speaker 6: you know, I'm a little shy about you know, some
- 16:15Speaker 6: of that South You could actually hope you can actually
- 16:18Speaker 6: make sure that those scars don't show, and you know,
- 16:21Speaker 6: you say you kind of you know, uh, make sure
- 16:24Speaker 6: everything is doesn't look oily, you know what I mean.
- 16:27Speaker 6: And I just need to get my well, but I didn't.
- 16:32Speaker 11: When I didn't understand what you're talking about. I may
- 16:34Speaker 11: not be the makeup art.
- 16:35Speaker 7: I don't.
- 16:35Speaker 6: I'm not.
- 16:36Speaker 11: Seriously, I'm not gonna do.
- 16:38Speaker 6: Your but I mean we're just talking about makeup though.
- 16:40Speaker 6: I mean you know you're talking about yeah, but I'm.
- 16:43Speaker 11: Not about to put my makeup brushes that I use
- 16:45Speaker 11: on people's faces on your ass, like sit and tell
- 16:48Speaker 11: your photographer to like photoshop that.
- 16:51Speaker 6: That's why I'm coming in to see you on Friday.
- 16:53Speaker 6: I want you to do everything and make me up
- 16:56Speaker 6: there in the store so I can see what it
- 16:58Speaker 6: looks like. I want to see what you were going
- 16:59Speaker 6: to come into my job and make me do your
- 17:02Speaker 6: Like what are you?
- 17:03Speaker 11: What planned are you? Where did you think that was
- 17:05Speaker 11: gonna work? You cannot come into my job. How are
- 17:08Speaker 11: you gonna come my job naked? Seriously?
- 17:10Speaker 6: I mean, well, I was gonna well a robe. I'm
- 17:12Speaker 6: not gonna just you know, walk there or not.
- 17:14Speaker 11: Don't you even think about coming into my job? Who
- 17:17Speaker 11: referred you? Who told you you need to delete this number?

- 21:56Speaker 8: I knew you were gonna have an issue.
- 21:57Speaker 7: With that, that damn arrangement you're talking about conflict of interest?
- 22:04Speaker 5: Why don't your husband be your best friend? Now? You
- 22:07Speaker 5: got his mama as your best friend?
- 22:10Speaker 7: Now she done told you something about your husband that
- 22:16Speaker 7: you don't think she should have said. But you'll besties thought,
- 22:21Speaker 7: I don't even understand that. You need to pull back
- 22:23Speaker 7: on your damn mama in law. What you need to do,
- 22:27Speaker 7: focus on your husband. Quit tripping on your mom in
- 22:30Speaker 7: law and hear your mama law your damn best.
- 22:33Speaker 8: Your husband now, don't forget that part.
- 22:36Speaker 5: But why.
- 22:39Speaker 8: What what his mother said about her son?
- 22:42Speaker 5: You her best friend? It's her damn son she made him?

- 22:54Speaker 7: You gonna mess right, You're not gonna have no mother
- 22:56Speaker 7: in law or husband or keep on all right?
- 23:01Speaker 8: Moving on to Jasmine and Laurel, Jasmine writes, my neighbor
- 23:05Speaker 8: is cheating on her husband and they were arguing because
- 23:08Speaker 8: she had a close call with her husband and the
- 23:10Speaker 8: guy passing each other on the stairs. I heard her
- 23:14Speaker 8: tell her husband the guy came from my apartment? Do
- 23:17Speaker 8: I tell him the truth? Close?
- 23:21Speaker 9: All?
- 23:22Speaker 5: Close call? Oh man, we passed.
- 23:27Speaker 7: Jes try to stare me down.
- 23:33Speaker 5: With us. And when I looked at you, uh huh,

- 24:32Speaker 8: But she's like, that's not true. She lied, you know,
- 24:35Speaker 8: to cover up her track. So should she tell the
- 24:38Speaker 8: woman's husband the truth that the man did not come
- 24:41Speaker 8: from her apartment, that is from your apartment. But they
- 24:45Speaker 8: put her in the business because well said she he

- 24:50Speaker 7: Right, But that's no harm, no file. She just used

- 24:56Speaker 7: send to do is pull her back in the mess.
- 24:59Speaker 7: See okay, yeah, but see no see listen, it ain't
- 25:04Speaker 7: no mess. If the man came from her apartment, the
- 25:08Speaker 7: message is if it came from the wife's apartment.
- 25:11Speaker 5: I know the man didn't. Surely that's what the lies.
- 25:14Speaker 10: Faults, the lies and necessary.
- 25:20Speaker 7: If you don't tell this lie, you cannot tell this
- 25:23Speaker 7: man that this man came out of his house.
- 25:26Speaker 8: But she doesn't want to be in theirs.
- 25:30Speaker 5: Nobody give a damn. But you don't want to be
- 25:32Speaker 5: in the lie.
- 25:36Speaker 7: Nobody cares about you not wanting to be in the lie.
- 25:42Speaker 7: You are just a part of it. You're not the

- 25:54Speaker 5: A lie is the man. I am the lie.
- 25:57Speaker 8: Uh supporting cast.

- 26:08Speaker 5: or nothing. Just shut up that extra trying to have lines.
- 26:20Speaker 8: Moving on to Angela and Edmonton, Angela writes, I was
- 26:25Speaker 8: messing with a coworker's son and she found out about us.
- 26:29Speaker 8: She told everyone. I robbed the cradle. But I'm only
- 26:32Speaker 8: six years older than her son? What makes her think
- 26:35Speaker 8: I need permission to date him? Should should we have
- 26:38Speaker 8: run it by her or not?
- 26:40Speaker 7: Well, lord, you shouldn't have run it by. You didn't

- 36:14Speaker 8: subjected to disrespectful heckling and in the fourth quarter turned
- 36:18Speaker 8: around and addressed one heckler in an assertive but polite manner.
- 36:22Speaker 8: E forty went on to say, that's when King's security
- 36:25Speaker 8: approached me, assumed I instigated the encounter, and proceeded to
- 36:29Speaker 8: kick me out of the arena. Despite my success, racial
- 36:33Speaker 8: bias remains prevalent. Security saw a disagreement between a black
- 36:37Speaker 8: man and a white woman and immediately assumed that I
- 36:41Speaker 8: was at fault.
- 36:42Speaker 7: Wow, absolutely, I listened to me, I saw the whole thing.
- 36:45Speaker 7: I'm very familiar with incidents. I've talked to a couple
- 36:48Speaker 7: of key people in it. The Warriors were fully supporting
- 36:53Speaker 7: me for the dig Iguala. What's his name, oh Andre, Yeah,
- 36:59Speaker 7: he walked forty out. E forty was there the whole game.
- 37:03Speaker 7: White lady behind him, heckling this man the entire game.
- 37:08Speaker 7: I'm talking about riding him and got her camera up
- 37:11Speaker 7: the whole time, just heckling this brother man. So the
- 37:14Speaker 7: brother turned around and finally said something to her that
- 37:18Speaker 7: was it. Here comes security down front, grab him and
- 37:22Speaker 7: they started the whole back.
- 37:23Speaker 5: Now.
- 37:23Speaker 7: E forty put his hand on the man's shoulder, lean
- 37:26Speaker 7: in and said, hey man, this woman been hecking me
- 37:28Speaker 7: the whole time. I don't care a damn about that.
- 37:31Speaker 7: You got to get out of here. So then they
- 37:33Speaker 7: grabbed me forty, So he forty snatched Wait a minute,
- 37:35Speaker 7: hold of man.
- 37:36Speaker 5: E forty is on the front.
- 37:37Speaker 7: Row of all the games, all the Warrior game. That's right,
- 37:41Speaker 7: he's a super fan. He was down there supporting the
- 37:45Speaker 7: Warriors in Sacramento. This woman the entire time the security
- 37:50Speaker 7: was talking to him. She filming the whole thing, just
- 37:54Speaker 7: back there when her husband I'm going, so they don't
- 37:56Speaker 7: even say nothing to her. She dogged this brother out
- 37:59Speaker 7: thought whole game. Finally he just got tired and turned around.
- 38:03Speaker 5: And said something to her.
- 38:05Speaker 7: And then the Warriors players came over there because they
- 38:08Speaker 7: had a problem with because.
- 38:12Speaker 5: No, this dude, he don't even move like that man

- 38:19Speaker 1: Now, you ain't never heard about bothering.
- 38:23Speaker 5: And he'll know body that ain't how he rolled. Ever,
- 38:28Speaker 5: this dude is smooth.
- 38:30Speaker 13: Now.
- 38:30Speaker 5: Now you don't wote none, You don't, You do not
- 38:33Speaker 5: wote none.
- 38:34Speaker 7: So the white lady got to stay at the game.
- 38:37Speaker 7: But nothing ain't said nothing to her. But she down
- 38:40Speaker 7: here harassing this other man. He ain't on the team.
- 38:43Speaker 7: See what you don't have the right to do. It's
- 38:45Speaker 7: harassed another fan. Right, it's already now you can boo

- 54:39Speaker 13: Here.
- 54:39Speaker 5: It is Strawberry Letter.
- 54:41Speaker 8: Subject, I love him but dot dot dot. Dear Stephen Shirley,
- 54:46Speaker 8: I'm a thirty year old professional woman dating a man
- 54:49Speaker 8: that just got a divorce. I met him while he
- 54:52Speaker 8: was still married, but we didn't go out until he
- 54:55Speaker 8: moved out of his home. He was still married but
- 54:58Speaker 8: legally separated. On our first date, his wife followed him
- 55:03Speaker 8: and she made a big scene in public, calling me
- 55:06Speaker 8: all kinds of names. He cursed her out so badly
- 55:10Speaker 8: that I was ashamed for her and scared of him.
- 55:13Speaker 8: I knew in the back of my mind that she
- 55:15Speaker 8: would be a problem and he might one day curse
- 55:18Speaker 8: me out like that if he got mad enough at me,
- 55:21Speaker 8: But I kept on dating him. When he got a divorce,
- 55:24Speaker 8: he opened up about how he cheated on his wife
- 55:27Speaker 8: twice and she caught him both times. He told me
- 55:31Speaker 8: that he'd gotten that out of his system, and since
- 55:34Speaker 8: he has a good woman in parentheses me, he didn't
- 55:39Speaker 8: have a reason to cheat. He's a great lover and
- 55:42Speaker 8: provider and he's cultured. He asked me to marry him
- 55:47Speaker 8: on a Sunday in front of my mother and I
- 55:50Speaker 8: said yes. By that Wednesday, I found out he might
- 55:54Speaker 8: have another woman that he was sleeping with, and she
- 55:56Speaker 8: said he told her he wants a future with her.
- 56:00Speaker 8: I told her that I'm engaged to him, and she
- 56:02Speaker 8: was surprised. I called him at work and he said
- 56:05Speaker 8: he wanted to talk face to face. So he picked
- 56:09Speaker 8: me up from work and we drove an hour to
- 56:11Speaker 8: the lake, and he had some snacks and wine in
- 56:14Speaker 8: the car. He told me that the lady was lying
- 56:17Speaker 8: and he thought I was smarter than that. We made
- 56:20Speaker 8: love on a blanket by the lake, and my heart
- 56:24Speaker 8: said that this was my husband. It was the most
- 56:27Speaker 8: romantic day. Ever, my heart flutters around him, but I
- 56:31Speaker 8: don't think I know him well enough to marry him.
- 56:35Speaker 8: Our wedding is in June, and I love him, but
- 56:38Speaker 8: dot dot dot I need more time. Are most people
- 56:41Speaker 8: uncertain before the wedding?
- 56:44Speaker 6: Well?
- 56:44Speaker 11: A lot are.
- 56:45Speaker 8: I won't say most, but a lot of people are. Yeah,
- 56:48Speaker 8: uncertain before the wedding. But you should be pretty certain though.
- 56:52Speaker 8: Haven't you heard the saying when people show you who
- 56:55Speaker 8: they are, believe them. I mean, this man has shown
- 56:57Speaker 8: you what he's capable of, even and said you were
- 57:00Speaker 8: afraid of him after he cursed his wife out like that,
- 57:04Speaker 8: but you still didn't break it off with him. You
- 57:07Speaker 8: said he's a good lover. No, you said he was
- 57:09Speaker 8: a great lover and provider. You know, those are wonderful
- 57:14Speaker 8: qualities in a man, to be a great lover, great provider,
- 57:17Speaker 8: all of that. But did you forget did you forget
- 57:21Speaker 8: that he cheated on his wife twice? And then that's
- 57:23Speaker 8: why they're getting a divorce. Okay, So whatever you do,
- 57:27Speaker 8: you gotta get to know this man. You got to
- 57:30Speaker 8: continue that you may find out other things that he does.
- 57:35Speaker 8: The real hymn is going to eventually show up. I mean,
- 57:38Speaker 8: you know, I get the lake and sex by the lake,
- 57:42Speaker 8: and the fruit and the wine and the snacks and
- 57:44Speaker 8: all of that, but you got to listen to your gut.
- 57:47Speaker 8: You obviously can't forget how he acted when he was
- 57:51Speaker 8: angry at his first wife, and you're wondering if one
- 57:54Speaker 8: day maybe he could do that to you. Well, he
- 57:56Speaker 8: certainly has the capacity for it now, doesn't he. So
- 57:59Speaker 8: I suggest to you, guys, go to marriage counseling before
- 58:02Speaker 8: getting married, even you know, if you even are still
- 58:07Speaker 8: considering taking that step. You guys need some kind of understanding,
- 58:12Speaker 8: some kind of guidance. Marriage is one of the biggest
- 58:14Speaker 8: things you can do in life, so you need to
- 58:17Speaker 8: do whatever you can to protect yourself. Tell him you
- 58:19Speaker 8: want to go to marriage counseling first and see how
- 58:22Speaker 8: that goes.
- 58:23Speaker 5: Steve, you know what, I happen to agree with everything
- 58:27Speaker 5: Shirley said. I do, lady. I just want to add
- 58:33Speaker 5: this one thing.
- 58:35Speaker 7: I love him, But okay, well, you know, my father
- 58:40Speaker 7: used to tell me all the time, if when you
- 58:41Speaker 7: say butt indicates everything you said in front of that.
- 58:45Speaker 5: So when you're talking to me.
- 58:47Speaker 7: And you say butt, boy just noted whatever you said.
- 58:50Speaker 7: Before don't even apply no more. And that's the case
- 58:54Speaker 7: right here. But this is a case of intuition. And
- 58:58Speaker 7: God gives intuition to women to protect you from the hunter,
- 59:02Speaker 7: which is us. See we have hunting skills. You have intuition,
- 59:07Speaker 7: which that which is your safeguard against us. But y'all
- 59:11Speaker 7: keep ignoring the intuition because you want to believe your
- 59:16Speaker 7: heart instead of your mind.
- 59:18Speaker 5: And that's where the problem starts.
- 59:22Speaker 7: You're thirty year old professional. You're dating a man that
- 59:25Speaker 7: just got a divorce. He was still married. When you
- 59:27Speaker 7: get mad, y'all ain't go out till he moved out
- 59:30Speaker 7: of his house. He was still married but legally separated.
- 59:33Speaker 7: On your first date, his wife followed him, and she
- 59:37Speaker 7: made a huge scene in Pulley, called you all kind
- 59:41Speaker 7: of name. He cuts out so bad. You felt bad
- 59:43Speaker 7: for her, and you were scared of him. And then
- 59:47Speaker 7: you knew in the back of your mind. See here
- 59:49Speaker 7: we go, the mind. Now, the mind. The mind is
- 59:52Speaker 7: where the intuition resides. Heart is it gets you in trouble.
- 59:57Speaker 7: Your mind is where that I knew in the back
- 59:59Speaker 7: of my mind she would be a problem and he
- 1:00:02Speaker 7: might one day cust me out like that if he
- 1:00:05Speaker 7: got mad enough in me when we come back. That
- 1:00:08Speaker 7: has set the toe for the rest of my answer.
- 1:00:10Speaker 7: All right, well, understand what I'm right.
- 1:00:13Speaker 8: We'll have part two of Steve's response coming up at
- 1:00:15Speaker 8: twenty three minutes after the hour. Today's strawberry letter subject
- 1:00:19Speaker 8: I love him but dot dot dot. We'll get back
- 1:00:23Speaker 8: into it right after this. You're listening hard morning show.
- 1:00:28Speaker 8: All right, come on, Steve, let's recap today's strawberry letter,
- 1:00:31Speaker 8: the subject I love him but dot dot dot.
- 1:00:34Speaker 7: Well, he would go perfect case of a woman following
- 1:00:37Speaker 7: her heart and ignoring her intuition. Your intuition is in
- 1:00:41Speaker 7: your mind. Your heart is filled with nothing but emotions.
- 1:00:46Speaker 7: Your heart hurts, your heart bleeds, your heart loves, your
- 1:00:50Speaker 7: heart breaks. All that your mind just thinks, and that's
- 1:00:55Speaker 7: where your intuition is. Stop ignoring it. Ladies, you're thirty
- 1:00:58Speaker 7: year old woman dating the man got a divorce. You
- 1:01:02Speaker 7: made him while he was married, but you all didn't
- 1:01:04Speaker 7: go out until he moved out the house. He was
- 1:01:06Speaker 7: still married but legally separated. Y'all went out on your
- 1:01:10Speaker 7: first date. His wife followed. Y'all made a huge scene,
- 1:01:13Speaker 7: called him all kinds of names, he cussed out. He
- 1:01:17Speaker 7: cuts out so bad. You was ashamed for her, but
- 1:01:19Speaker 7: you was scared of him. Then here we go. I
- 1:01:22Speaker 7: knew in the back of my mind that she would
- 1:01:24Speaker 7: be a problem and he might one day cuss me
- 1:01:26Speaker 7: out like that if he got mad enough at me.
- 1:01:28Speaker 7: Now you knew this in the back of your mind.
- 1:01:31Speaker 7: That's where your intuition resigned. But I kept on dating.
- 1:01:36Speaker 7: When he got a divorce, he opened up about how
- 1:01:38Speaker 7: he had cheated on his wife twice and she caught
- 1:01:41Speaker 7: him both times.
- 1:01:42Speaker 5: Damn this dude, This dude can't cheat. He cheated on
- 1:01:50Speaker 5: his wife twice, she caught him both times.
- 1:01:55Speaker 7: Y'all went on one date, she caught y'all ass Then
- 1:02:01Speaker 7: this dude's track record for getting caught. He you dating
- 1:02:04Speaker 7: somebody real stupid. Now, I just want you to know that.
- 1:02:09Speaker 7: You know, he told me that he got that out
- 1:02:12Speaker 7: of his system since he has a good woman and
- 1:02:14Speaker 7: he didn't have a reason to treat cheap.
- 1:02:17Speaker 5: Now here you go.
- 1:02:17Speaker 7: He's a good lover and provider and he's cultured. But
- 1:02:20Speaker 7: he's stupid though. See that's the part you're leaving up.
- 1:02:24Speaker 7: He's a great lover, provider, he's cultured, and he's stupid.
- 1:02:31Speaker 7: He asked me to marry him on Sunday in front
- 1:02:34Speaker 7: of my mama, and I said, yes, now it's Sunday.
- 1:02:38Speaker 6: Now.
- 1:02:40Speaker 7: By that Wednesday, three damn days, I found out he
- 1:02:45Speaker 7: might have another woman that he was sleeping with. And
- 1:02:49Speaker 7: she said he told her that he wants the future
- 1:02:53Speaker 7: with her. Wait a minute, his wife busted him twice.
- 1:02:58Speaker 7: Y'all went on one date he busted, she busted.
- 1:03:01Speaker 5: Y'all.
- 1:03:02Speaker 7: He asked you to marry him on Sunday on Wednesday,
- 1:03:05Speaker 7: you done busted.
- 1:03:06Speaker 5: His ass again. How dumb is this man? Right here?
- 1:03:12Speaker 5: You're dating somebody that's stupid. Man. He can't cover tracks.
- 1:03:17Speaker 7: He might be a good provider, and he might be
- 1:03:21Speaker 7: a good lover, but he's not a good protector. See,
- 1:03:24Speaker 7: you don't know how to protect a woman's feelings. He
- 1:03:27Speaker 7: not gonna guard your heart because he reckless. He's stupid.
- 1:03:32Speaker 5: She said.
- 1:03:33Speaker 7: He told her he wants a future with her. I
- 1:03:35Speaker 7: told her I'm engaged in him. She was surprised, really
- 1:03:38Speaker 7: when y'all engaged. I called him at work and he
- 1:03:43Speaker 7: said he wants to talk face to faith. See that,
- 1:03:48Speaker 7: see that face to face. That gave him time to
- 1:03:50Speaker 7: get itself together. So he picked you up from work
- 1:03:53Speaker 7: and we drove an hour or two a lake, and
- 1:03:55Speaker 7: he had some snacks and wine in the car. Well,
- 1:03:58Speaker 7: ain't that a good thing? Oh yeah, oh yeah, I'm
- 1:04:02Speaker 7: gonna go fix her all this busting me. I'm gonna
- 1:04:06Speaker 7: give me some crackers and some wine. I'm gonna get
- 1:04:09Speaker 7: some cheese, cheese blocks.
- 1:04:11Speaker 5: Cut him up.
- 1:04:12Speaker 7: Don't give me a damn blank. I'm gonna talk to
- 1:04:14Speaker 7: her down hit by this damn lake. Yeah, good thing.
- 1:04:18Speaker 7: He bought them snacks. He told me that the lady
- 1:04:22Speaker 7: was lying, and he thought I was smarter than that.
- 1:04:25Speaker 7: Wait a minute, if the lady lined, how did you
- 1:04:28Speaker 7: find the lady? What you just You mean to tell
- 1:04:33Speaker 7: me that you pulled a woman's name out of thin
- 1:04:37Speaker 7: air and called her and she just happened to know
- 1:04:40Speaker 7: who he was. No, he told you the lady was lying,
- 1:04:45Speaker 7: and he thought I was smarter than that. You are smarter.
- 1:04:49Speaker 7: You found out Wednesday, right after he asked you to
- 1:04:52Speaker 7: marry him. Sunday we made love on a blanket by
- 1:04:56Speaker 7: the lake, and my heart said this.
- 1:05:00Speaker 5: This is my hood. He go, you can you go
- 1:05:01Speaker 5: to mess around with your heart? Here?
- 1:05:06Speaker 7: Your heart go ladies. Here you go, heart told me,
- 1:05:08Speaker 7: this is my hunts. Your brain just had you call
- 1:05:11Speaker 7: a woman out of nodamn where bingo. She was having
- 1:05:15Speaker 7: a future with the dude too. So now there's really
- 1:05:18Speaker 7: three chicks that his wife he was cheating off. You
- 1:05:22Speaker 7: busted him with one, and the wife then busted him
- 1:05:26Speaker 7: with the two he cheated on, and y'all on your
- 1:05:28Speaker 7: first day now dumb ass is back at it again
- 1:05:32Speaker 7: getting busted. We made love on the blanket body Lake,
- 1:05:36Speaker 7: and my heart said, this is my hoos. It was
- 1:05:39Speaker 7: the most romantic day ever. You need to have some
- 1:05:43Speaker 7: more damn days.
- 1:05:44Speaker 5: Then, how is this the most romantic day ever?
- 1:05:48Speaker 7: On the day that you found out he was sleeping
- 1:05:51Speaker 7: with somebody else, this is the most romantic day.
- 1:05:55Speaker 5: You need to hear him have some more damn days.
- 1:05:58Speaker 5: Our wedding is in Junie.
- 1:06:00Speaker 7: My heart flutters around him, but I don't know him
- 1:06:03Speaker 7: well enough to marry him. Our wedding is in June,
- 1:06:06Speaker 7: and I love him, but I need more time. Why

- 1:08:03Speaker 10: you know, lower back injury. If you went to the whole.
- 1:08:06Speaker 10: We don't know he coming back. And I told him,
- 1:08:09Speaker 10: Tyler Hero broke his hands.
- 1:08:11Speaker 3: They ain't gonna win.
- 1:08:12Speaker 5: If he'll come back, ain't gonna win. I'm just yeah,
- 1:08:16Speaker 5: Tyler Hero broke his hand.
- 1:08:18Speaker 3: Uh, you know, sliding for the ball.
- 1:08:20Speaker 5: All right, here we go.
- 1:08:21Speaker 10: Look the Clippers in the Sun, which was a great

- 1:08:27Speaker 5: Game, junior. Take your hand off your head, man, it's
- 1:08:30Speaker 5: a lot of stretch. It's just too much for you.
- 1:08:34Speaker 5: This is it isn't a lot of chaos. Ain't no
- 1:08:37Speaker 5: a lot of games.
- 1:08:38Speaker 3: Folk go from Saturday all the way to Sunday.
- 1:08:42Speaker 5: What would you do watching the game? Calm down?

- 1:09:04Speaker 10: Tommy man Kaw. You know what, Let's give him his
- 1:09:08Speaker 10: credit to one. Let's give him his credit. Westbrook. Let's
- 1:09:11Speaker 10: just go and give Westbrook his credit. Man, he had
- 1:09:15Speaker 10: a terrible shoot game, but his hustle was undeniable. I'm
- 1:09:19Speaker 10: talking undeniable hustles can affect the game. I'm talking blocked steals, assist.
- 1:09:25Speaker 10: You ain't got to go west but they're gonna talk
- 1:09:27Speaker 10: about it. But his hustle was Undernibal. I gotta give that.
- 1:09:30Speaker 4: I can't.
- 1:09:31Speaker 5: I can't take that. Got the best motor.
- 1:09:32Speaker 3: Bass Man didn't stop the whole time. And nobody stayed up,
- 1:09:36Speaker 3: Like I said, nobody, nobody stayed up for the Nuggets
- 1:09:39Speaker 3: in the temper.
- 1:09:39Speaker 5: Okay, let's just beyond I did you went to sleep?
- 1:09:42Speaker 5: I went to sleep. There was too much, I said.
- 1:09:45Speaker 5: I'm on the West coast. I was wide with you
- 1:09:49Speaker 5: did not give a damn about the game.
- 1:09:51Speaker 10: Thought to Christis monrow.
- 1:09:57Speaker 5: Here, there's way too much. Tommy, you to take over.
- 1:10:03Speaker 9: Here.
- 1:10:04Speaker 5: We're going to a Mississippi Monica.
- 1:10:05Speaker 8: Dans leave Junior alone. Coming up at the top of
- 1:10:10Speaker 8: the hour, we'll have more of the Steve Harvey Morning
- 1:10:12Speaker 8: Show right after this. You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:10:19Speaker 8: All right, this is just such a horrible, horrible story
- 1:10:22Speaker 8: out of Kansas City, Missouri. Sixteen year old Ralph Yarl
- 1:10:26Speaker 8: is recovering from severe gunshot injuries to the head after
- 1:10:30Speaker 8: a man allegedly shot him twice. According to his aunt,
- 1:10:34Speaker 8: around ten pm last Thursday evening, Yarl was headed to
- 1:10:38Speaker 8: pick up his siblings and arrived at the wrong address. Now,
- 1:10:43Speaker 8: the sixteen year old went to one hundred and fifteenth
- 1:10:45Speaker 8: Street instead of one hundred and fifteen Terraces. The correct
- 1:10:49Speaker 8: address y'arrel was attempting to go to was just a
- 1:10:52Speaker 8: block away. The homeowner opened his front door and then
- 1:10:56Speaker 8: fired at Yarl. The man took a second and shot
- 1:11:00Speaker 8: at y'all, hitting him again, y'all, was able to get
- 1:11:04Speaker 8: up and run for help. He attempted to ask for
- 1:11:07Speaker 8: help from three neighboring residential homes until someone was able
- 1:11:11Speaker 8: to get help for him. Can you imagine, So he just.
- 1:11:15Speaker 9: Opens the door, He don't say nothing, conversation fires out.
- 1:11:19Speaker 13: You just fire off.
- 1:11:21Speaker 5: You already got a gun at your dop.
- 1:11:23Speaker 8: Yeah, just fire This is America, Yeah, yes, this is
- 1:11:28Speaker 8: where we live.
- 1:11:28Speaker 5: See. This ain't no Staniel Ground.
- 1:11:30Speaker 8: Though, that's what they're trying to Yeah, that's no.
- 1:11:33Speaker 7: It's not Staniel Ground because this young man wasn't called that,
- 1:11:37Speaker 7: he didn't come there with a gun, He didn't come
- 1:11:39Speaker 7: down and right he rang or knocked on the door.
- 1:11:42Speaker 8: Yeah, but that's where its authorities are trying to see
- 1:11:45Speaker 8: now if the suspect, the shooter was protected within the
- 1:11:49Speaker 8: standard ground laws. So that's what they're investigating right now.
- 1:11:51Speaker 5: No, no, see, you can't you can't claim that he
- 1:11:56Speaker 5: wasn't breaking in nothing.
- 1:12:00Speaker 8: Y Yeah. The homeowner was that suspected of the shooting,
- 1:12:03Speaker 8: was brought to the police station. He made a statement.
- 1:12:05Speaker 8: They released him shortly after race and I mean, this
- 1:12:10Speaker 8: is terrible. This young man Ralph Yarl, sixteen years old,
- 1:12:14Speaker 8: a member of the Technology Student Association Science Olympia Team.
- 1:12:19Speaker 8: He's a section leader in the marching band and a
- 1:12:21Speaker 8: member of the Missouri Scholar Academy. So, I mean, just
- 1:12:26Speaker 8: a great young man. This sixteen years old just went
- 1:12:28Speaker 8: to pick up his.
- 1:12:31Speaker 7: Cause. Black dude knocking at your door at night. Yes, yes,
- 1:12:36Speaker 7: you open the door and shooting.
- 1:12:38Speaker 8: Yeah, twice twice.
- 1:12:41Speaker 12: They were at the homeowner's home protesting. So Andrew Lester,
- 1:12:46Speaker 12: he is a suspect. He is an eighty five year
- 1:12:49Speaker 12: old white man. He was charged with one count felony
- 1:12:53Speaker 12: assault in the first degree and one count of armed
- 1:12:58Speaker 12: criminal action, which.
- 1:13:00Speaker 1: Is also a felony. So we'll keep an eye out
- 1:13:03Speaker 1: on this story. That is good news.
- 1:13:05Speaker 12: Kansas City, the police department, the mayor, the police chief, they.
- 1:13:09Speaker 1: Got to do an investigation.
- 1:13:10Speaker 8: This was a good kid.
- 1:13:12Speaker 3: He made a mistake.
- 1:13:14Speaker 5: What's the threat.
- 1:13:15Speaker 9: You open the door, it's a kid standing there, he's
- 1:13:17Speaker 9: got nothing in his hand, and you just fire off. Man.
- 1:13:21Speaker 8: Yeah, talk to him.
- 1:13:22Speaker 5: Through the door.
- 1:13:23Speaker 12: If you don't even know, I'm here to pick up
- 1:13:25Speaker 12: my little I think it's twin brothers. I think he
- 1:13:28Speaker 12: had twin brother simbly siblings that he's picking up for
- 1:13:32Speaker 12: you picking up such and such, such and such, they're
- 1:13:35Speaker 12: not here.
- 1:13:35Speaker 5: You have the right.
- 1:13:37Speaker 12: What's wrong with talkie? What's wrong with this country? Everybody's shooting?
- 1:13:41Speaker 12: Ask questions later. You can't resolve conflict. You can't have
- 1:13:45Speaker 12: a conversation with somebody.
- 1:13:47Speaker 8: You gotta show up now. And why are you opening
- 1:13:49Speaker 8: your door for someone you don't even know? Anyway? Why
- 1:13:52Speaker 8: are you doing? Yeah, obviously to.
- 1:13:56Speaker 5: Do that here is one of the major problems with
- 1:14:00Speaker 5: carrying a gun.
- 1:14:02Speaker 7: It serves no purpose unless you use for a lot
- 1:14:05Speaker 7: of people, Yes, and a lot of people. If I'm
- 1:14:08Speaker 7: going to the door with my gun, I'm going to
- 1:14:12Speaker 7: the door with my gun. And this only becomes useful
- 1:14:15Speaker 7: if I use it. So it's just idiotic.
- 1:14:18Speaker 8: Man. Yeah, such a horrible story. Again, that boy.
- 1:14:22Speaker 5: Probably offered no threat at all, He had no reason
- 1:14:25Speaker 5: to shoot him. No, and standing there, standing there back, that's.
- 1:14:32Speaker 1: That's what it was, Tommy.
- 1:14:33Speaker 12: And as a listener, if you want to help out,
- 1:14:35Speaker 12: go to Attorney Benjamin Crumb. He has information of what
- 1:14:38Speaker 12: listeners can do to help to email the prosecutor, So
- 1:14:42Speaker 12: go to his Instagram page and get that info.
- 1:14:45Speaker 8: Yeah, yeah, this is awful, but we're still not doing
- 1:14:50Speaker 8: anything about any kind of gun control in this country. Yeah,
- 1:14:53Speaker 8: and we'll have more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show
- 1:14:56Speaker 8: coming up at twenty minutes after. Right after this, you're
- 1:14:59Speaker 8: listening Hardy Morning Show. All right, here's some weird news.
- 1:15:05Speaker 8: Police in Philadelphia say someone used bolt cutters to break
- 1:15:09Speaker 8: into a parked truck which was loaded with bags of dimes.
- 1:15:12Speaker 8: Whoever did it made off with approximately one million dimes,
- 1:15:17Speaker 8: or if you counted out, it's one hundred thousand dollars police.
- 1:15:20Speaker 8: I didn't even know that one million dimes equals up. However,
- 1:15:25Speaker 8: I know how to count to a million.
- 1:15:29Speaker 10: Yeahs going begging purposes.
- 1:15:35Speaker 8: So Belice police found loose coins on the street leading
- 1:15:40Speaker 8: to a nearby road, presumably from the bags being dragged
- 1:15:43Speaker 8: to a getaway car. The truck driver had picked up
- 1:15:46Speaker 8: about seven hundred and fifty thousand dollars in dimes from
- 1:15:50Speaker 8: the Philadelphia Mint and then drove to the neighborhood where
- 1:15:53Speaker 8: he lives. He left the truck parked overnight in a
- 1:15:56Speaker 8: Walmart parking lot while he went home to get some
- 1:16:00Speaker 8: sleep to prepare for the next leg of this trip
- 1:16:02Speaker 8: to Florida. Believe it or not. Police say, this is
- 1:16:05Speaker 8: actually not an unusual practice for truck drivers, and this
- 1:16:08Speaker 8: is an investigation that's on and going.
- 1:16:11Speaker 5: So I'm not.
- 1:16:17Speaker 7: I'm not leaving that in the truck at the Walmart, Parker.
- 1:16:20Speaker 7: I'm staying with the dimes. Hey, it's gonna be some
- 1:16:28Speaker 7: stand your ground going on out here, pushing themes.
- 1:16:32Speaker 5: I can't let you dives get about it here?
- 1:16:36Speaker 8: Would all right? Coming up in thirty three minutes after
- 1:16:42Speaker 8: the hour, guys, we'll play around it. Would you rather
- 1:16:44Speaker 8: right after this? You're listening hard Morning show? It is
- 1:16:49Speaker 8: time now for a round of would you rather? Would
- 1:16:52Speaker 8: you rather marry someone billionaire, rich status? Okay, who cheats
- 1:16:58Speaker 8: on you? Would you rather marry someone with no money
- 1:17:02Speaker 8: who is faithful?
- 1:17:04Speaker 13: Oh?
- 1:17:04Speaker 9: No, I won't to cheat him. I get all you
- 1:17:08Speaker 9: do this, you can cheat in front of my face again.
- 1:17:11Speaker 9: I don't don't care, don't care.
- 1:17:14Speaker 3: Hey, Matthew, how you doing?
- 1:17:19Speaker 6: Hey?
- 1:17:20Speaker 5: Hey hey hey, hey hey hey. Let me get all
- 1:17:22Speaker 5: out of here that y'all have. I'm gonna fly down
- 1:17:32Speaker 5: to Miami. Hello you. I'll be at the club if
- 1:17:37Speaker 5: you're looking for me. Absolutely, that's that's so sad.
- 1:17:42Speaker 7: What what I'm with.
- 1:17:47Speaker 1: So that's what's said.
- 1:17:51Speaker 8: All right, let's keep with the billionaire thing for a second.
- 1:17:54Speaker 8: Or would you rather live the rest of your life
- 1:17:58Speaker 8: financially comfortable of your life? You're just comfortable financially okay?
- 1:18:03Speaker 8: Would you rather live the next twenty years like a
- 1:18:05Speaker 8: billionaire but then be poor after that?
- 1:18:08Speaker 7: Oh?
- 1:18:09Speaker 5: B tweeting chef A good twenty Yeah, twenty twenty is

- 1:18:30Speaker 5: Matter of fact, I get this billionaire. I'm probably gonna
- 1:18:32Speaker 5: be out here quicker than that. And I'm.
- 1:18:35Speaker 1: A food that you're gonna make it so Toby twenty
- 1:18:39Speaker 1: years so at seventy.
- 1:18:40Speaker 5: Six year gone, you know I had a good run.
- 1:18:44Speaker 5: Let would tell you something. I'd be out here be

- 1:19:01Speaker 6: All.

- 1:19:09Speaker 7: the rest. You're like, yeah, I'm gonna go. I got
- 1:19:10Speaker 7: forty more years left me do this whole forty see
- 1:19:13Speaker 7: you in the bitch. All you gotta do is like
- 1:19:15Speaker 7: I can stay right where I am, right now here, Yeah, right.

- 1:19:19Speaker 1: Just you want to be a billionaire, So yeah, I.
- 1:19:23Speaker 5: Like to have a billion, but not not to cut
- 1:19:25Speaker 5: my life short.
- 1:19:28Speaker 1: You're you're not gonna die't be not time you did
- 1:19:31Speaker 1: go nothing to do that.
- 1:19:32Speaker 7: No, no, no, not not at eighty six. I ain't
- 1:19:39Speaker 7: got no money at eighty six. I can't stop these
- 1:19:42Speaker 7: people from watching me. You ain't gonna tell me what
- 1:19:46Speaker 7: y'all finna send me. Well, I don't like this home
- 1:19:51Speaker 7: right here, that's.
- 1:19:52Speaker 8: All right, coming up, coming up at forty nine minutes
- 1:19:57Speaker 8: after we'll have our last break of the day and
- 1:19:59Speaker 8: we'll close out the s show right after this. You're
- 1:20:01Speaker 8: listening to this Dave Harvey Morning Show. All right, So
- 1:20:05Speaker 8: see before we get to your closing. Top Republican hopefuls
- 1:20:09Speaker 8: for the twenty twenty four presidential race vowed Friday at
- 1:20:13Speaker 8: the NR at their annual convention in Indianapolis. Corsett's the
- 1:20:18Speaker 8: National Rifle Association to defend the Second Amendment at all costs. Okay,
- 1:20:23Speaker 8: you got that, suggesting that new gun control or firearm
- 1:20:26Speaker 8: restrictions in the wake of mass shootings around the country
- 1:20:29Speaker 8: would only hurt law abiding gun owners. Former President Donald
- 1:20:33Speaker 8: Trump crowned himself as the most pro gun, pro Second
- 1:20:37Speaker 8: Amendment president in the nation's history.
- 1:20:39Speaker 1: He says, quote, I will be your loyal.
- 1:20:41Speaker 8: Friend and fearless champion once again as a forty seventh
- 1:20:45Speaker 8: president of the United States. Some of the Republican politicians
- 1:20:48Speaker 8: speaking at the event said they were saddened by the
- 1:20:50Speaker 8: recent shootings, but they don't think gun restrictions are the
- 1:20:53Speaker 8: answer to mass shootings.
- 1:20:56Speaker 1: Just fyi.
- 1:20:57Speaker 8: The NRA was a key backer of Trump's twenty sixteen
- 1:21:01Speaker 8: campaign of thirty million dollars.
- 1:21:04Speaker 7: They're the key backers of all Republicans. Yeah, that's why
- 1:21:08Speaker 7: all of them for the Second Amendment. Stop saying, you're
- 1:21:13Speaker 7: saddened by the recent shootings, but you don't think restricting
- 1:21:20Speaker 7: gun sales will stop that. What do you mean you
- 1:21:24Speaker 7: don't think it is if you ban assault rifles, you
- 1:21:29Speaker 7: can't come in now with that rapid fire stuff. You
- 1:21:33Speaker 7: don't think we have a better chance of surviving. You
- 1:21:37Speaker 7: don't think if we took those guns off the market
- 1:21:41Speaker 7: that it would be better for those of us. All
- 1:21:44Speaker 7: you hear every time you hear about these shootings anything,
- 1:21:49Speaker 7: it's an assault rifle. Almost ninety percent of them are
- 1:21:54Speaker 7: assault rifles.
- 1:21:56Speaker 5: What do you mean?
- 1:21:56Speaker 7: And why are we selling assault rifles to the general public?
- 1:22:00Speaker 7: And stop lying to the people. Ain't nobody talking about
- 1:22:04Speaker 7: your right as a homeowner to protect your home. Anybody
- 1:22:08Speaker 7: talking about that. Nobody's talking about that. And even though
- 1:22:12Speaker 7: we're saden by the mass shootings, you ain't that damn
- 1:22:16Speaker 7: sad because you just said you would protect the Second
- 1:22:21Speaker 7: Amendment at all costs. That includes the lives of children, women, Blacks, gays, Jews, whites,
- 1:22:34Speaker 7: anybody that ain't related to you.
- 1:22:38Speaker 5: That cost for you is not too high. It's just
- 1:22:43Speaker 5: the life. It's just their lives. You just said.
- 1:22:49Speaker 7: See, you can't lie. You can't say you'll defend the
- 1:22:53Speaker 7: Second Amendment at all costs. Then turn around. We're really
- 1:22:59Speaker 7: saddened by the recent mass shootings and all, but we
- 1:23:04Speaker 7: don't think that banning assault rifle sales was gonna stop
- 1:23:09Speaker 7: that it's gonna deny people their rights. So here they
- 1:23:13Speaker 7: come for Donald Trump with thirty million dollars and it's
- 1:23:18Speaker 7: way more than that, y'all. That's to Donald that ain't
- 1:23:23Speaker 7: got nothing to do with the Senators, to congressmen that
- 1:23:26Speaker 7: ain't got nothing to do with that. They giving away
- 1:23:31Speaker 7: so much money. And like they said, you just heard them,
- 1:23:38Speaker 7: we will defend the Second Amendment at any cost. And
- 1:23:42Speaker 7: the cost we're talking about as human lives. That ain't
- 1:23:45Speaker 7: a high enough price. Let it cost that. So what
- 1:23:50Speaker 7: we're gonna defend you? Why are there nothing about Republicans
- 1:23:54Speaker 7: at the NIA Tell.
- 1:23:55Speaker 6: Me that.
- 1:23:57Speaker 5: Because that's who getting the money.
- 1:24:01Speaker 9: Man.
- 1:24:01Speaker 7: They don't give a damn about nothing else you talking about.
- 1:24:05Speaker 7: This country stinks with this thing, man, This Second Amendment stinks,
- 1:24:10Speaker 7: and this country stinks. And those of you that are
- 1:24:13Speaker 7: Republicans who get pushed into the Second Amendment whether you
- 1:24:18Speaker 7: want to or not because of all the other beliefs.
- 1:24:21Speaker 7: But that's you know, it's almost like how they do bills.
- 1:24:24Speaker 7: When they bring a bill up to Capitol Hill. They
- 1:24:27Speaker 7: don't just bring the bill. They put a whole lot
- 1:24:30Speaker 7: of other stuff in it that makes it hard to
- 1:24:32Speaker 7: pass the bill. So what you see on the face
- 1:24:35Speaker 7: of the bill, the reason a lot of times it
- 1:24:37Speaker 7: don't get passed is because the other stuff behind the
- 1:24:40Speaker 7: bill that they stuffed in there and they just hope
- 1:24:43Speaker 7: you go to sleep on it so they can pass
- 1:24:45Speaker 7: this bill. That's the face of the bill, but really
- 1:24:48Speaker 7: up under the bill, there's a whole lot of other stuff.
- 1:24:51Speaker 5: Well.
- 1:24:52Speaker 7: See, so that's what they've done to Republicans. See, they
- 1:24:57Speaker 7: put enough stuff to face the bill, like they want
- 1:25:00Speaker 7: to be against immigration, and they you know, they want
- 1:25:04Speaker 7: to be for abortion rights, and you know, they want
- 1:25:07Speaker 7: to stand up for things that they think are trying
- 1:25:09Speaker 7: to say morally the right thing to do. But then
- 1:25:14Speaker 7: they push some emerald stuff in there, like letting anybody
