The Apostle Peter spoke the words. Mark wrote them down. The oldest of the Gospels begins in this way: The beginning of the gospel of Jesus Christ, the Son of God. Now let this sink in: These are literally the first words ever recorded about the life of Jesus Christ. That's amazing in and of its self.
