- 0:12Speaker 1: to back down, giving them just like theming buck bus
- 0:17Speaker 1: things and its not me through good it Steve hastening
- 0:24Speaker 1: to mogether for Steve. Please, I don't joy Yeah, y'all doing.
- 0:58Speaker 1: You gotta turn hur, you gotta turn turnout, turn got
- 1:44Speaker 1: to turn out to turn the water the water. Come
- 1:58Speaker 1: come on your baby daddy. Uh huh I shore will
- 2:03Speaker 1: good morning everybody. You're listening to the voice, Come on
- 2:06Speaker 1: dig me now one It only Steve harvey Man got
- 2:09Speaker 1: a radio show. Real glad about it too, you know.
- 2:14Speaker 1: Um um. I hope that God always keeps me in
- 2:19Speaker 1: the frame of frame of mind to try to be
- 2:22Speaker 1: sharing and try to be motivational and even when it's
- 2:27Speaker 1: not felt or wanted by some people. I have people
- 2:32Speaker 1: around me who seem to not benefited off anything, and
- 2:37Speaker 1: I can sit with them and talk to them or
- 2:40Speaker 1: take meetings with them to try to encourage them, and
- 2:43Speaker 1: for whatever reason, you know, they want to just keep
- 2:45Speaker 1: going the way they're going. When you run into people
- 2:48Speaker 1: like that, you have to pray for them. You have
- 2:50Speaker 1: to just hope that one day that they release the
- 2:53Speaker 1: chains on their mind and open up your mind to
- 2:56Speaker 1: a new way of thinking. A couple of things I
- 2:58Speaker 1: wanted to go over with that I want you all
- 3:00Speaker 1: today in terms of motivation, I want you to be
- 3:05Speaker 1: aware of statements or old sayings that have been created
- 3:11Speaker 1: that you hear over the course of time, and you
- 3:14Speaker 1: may be applying them to your life. And I want
- 3:18Speaker 1: you to be careful of some of them because some
- 3:20Speaker 1: of these old sayings, man, are not designed for people
- 3:26Speaker 1: who are dreamers, are not designed for people who have
- 3:30Speaker 1: any aspirations of being extraordinary. These are not designs or
- 3:37Speaker 1: sayings that people who want to be extremely successful at
- 3:41Speaker 1: anything or have high aspirations to put these sayings into
- 3:45Speaker 1: your life. Let me give you an example. Statistics say
- 3:52Speaker 1: that's it. That's the one who want you to be
- 3:55Speaker 1: careful about statistics, say, be very careful of stats. When
- 4:04Speaker 1: a person says, you know statistics, say one out of
- 4:07Speaker 1: every what see, listen to me. These are things that
- 4:12Speaker 1: sound like they're good, sound solid advice, but they're setting
- 4:16Speaker 1: you up for failure. And you can't adhere yourself to
- 4:21Speaker 1: a lot of these sayings that's been passed down from generations,
- 4:26Speaker 1: and it's not scripture. It ain't in the scripture nowhere
- 4:30Speaker 1: that statistics say. It's just some people and a lot
- 4:34Speaker 1: of people who have lost have come up with these
- 4:38Speaker 1: sayings to justify why they keep losing or why they lost.
- 4:44Speaker 1: When I was arst got started in the business, there
- 4:48Speaker 1: were more stand ups around now than it is today
- 4:51Speaker 1: because the comedy boom in eighty four eighty five was
- 4:57Speaker 1: it was gaining a lot of momentums, comedy club, comedy
- 5:00Speaker 1: nights everywhere. The statistic that a guy told me I
- 5:05Speaker 1: told him I wanted to be on the Johnny Carson Show,
- 5:10Speaker 1: the Tonight Show. The guy said, one out of every
- 5:16Speaker 1: two thousand comedians ever make it to the Tonight Show. Okay, Now,
- 5:25Speaker 1: when he told us that, some of the comedians in
- 5:28Speaker 1: the room went, well, wow, man, oh that's rough. Because
- 5:33Speaker 1: a guy had also said that there was approximately six
- 5:38Speaker 1: thousand comedians in the country at that time. I don't
- 5:41Speaker 1: know if it was true. I'm just telling you guy
- 5:43Speaker 1: was out there sputing numbers. I have no idea how
- 5:45Speaker 1: many it was, but he said, one in every two
- 5:49Speaker 1: thousand will make it to the Tonight Show. And he
- 5:51Speaker 1: let the air out of everybody in the room, button
- 5:54Speaker 1: be so every night before I went on stage, I
- 5:58Speaker 1: used to do this right here, but Bampa da bada
- 6:02Speaker 1: la la la la badaampada ba la la la da.
- 6:07Speaker 1: That was the tonight theme song. I was young, opening
- 6:11Speaker 1: act nowhere near Hollywood, didn't. I was in Cleveland telling
- 6:15Speaker 1: jokes at one night us. But that was my thing
- 6:18Speaker 1: because I was bent and determined that if it's one
- 6:22Speaker 1: in two thousand, okay, why don't I just be the one?
- 6:26Speaker 1: Be careful when people say statistics say because they are
- 6:30Speaker 1: set up to ful failure. If you're gonna adhere to him,
- 6:33Speaker 1: see that one in so many? It wasn't so many
- 6:35Speaker 1: people win the lottery. But if you don't play the lottery,
- 6:37Speaker 1: you ain't gonna be the one to hit. Now when
- 6:39Speaker 1: the dude hit you go while he was lucky, but
- 6:41Speaker 1: he played. Here's another one. Maybe it's not meant to
- 6:46Speaker 1: be all right, let's go one step further. I guess
- 6:50Speaker 1: it wasn't the Lord's will. Don't you dare blame God
- 6:55Speaker 1: for something you may have not done yourself because you
- 7:00Speaker 1: didn't get the proper education, because you didn't do the
- 7:03Speaker 1: things you were supposed to do. Because you didn't stay
- 7:07Speaker 1: to the task, because you quit, turned around and went
- 7:10Speaker 1: the other way. Now, maybe it's not It wasn't the
- 7:13Speaker 1: lord's will. These are all statements that sound like sound advice,
- 7:20Speaker 1: but they ain't all the time, got nothing to do
- 7:22Speaker 1: with you. Stop letting these old fogy sayings get in
- 7:28Speaker 1: your way of what can happen in your life. Don't
- 7:32Speaker 1: put all your eggs in one basket? Who came up
- 7:38Speaker 1: with this? Who came up with the If you don't
- 7:41Speaker 1: pour all your efforts into one thing, how are you
- 7:44Speaker 1: gonna be great at that one thing? If Kobe Bryant,
- 7:49Speaker 1: Michael Jordan, Magic Johnson, Larry Bird had not played basketball
- 7:54Speaker 1: sun up to sundown, Magic Johnson didn't go to Michigan
- 7:58Speaker 1: to get an education. Land Burry didn't go to Indiana
- 8:02Speaker 1: to get an education. These casts was bawling. Michael Jordan
- 8:07Speaker 1: didn't go to North Carolina get an education. They went
- 8:10Speaker 1: to play ball. They went to do one thing. Tiger
- 8:14Speaker 1: Woods didn't go to Stanford to get an education. He
- 8:18Speaker 1: went to play golf. Soon as he got good enough,
- 8:20Speaker 1: he'd gone. These are guys that put all their eggs
- 8:25Speaker 1: in one basket. See what's cool with putting all your
- 8:29Speaker 1: eggs in one basket. Is you now can maximize your
- 8:32Speaker 1: effort and laser beam what you're doing. Your problem is
- 8:37Speaker 1: all you gotta do is make sure what is your
- 8:39Speaker 1: basket made out of. If your basket is made out
- 8:44Speaker 1: of faith, hope, hard work, and belief, then guess what,
- 8:49Speaker 1: that's a good basket. I'm dumping all mine in it
- 8:52Speaker 1: because ever since I was a young dude, I've been
- 8:55Speaker 1: telling jokes one thing, one thing only. Even when he
- 8:58Speaker 1: got ugly and I was living in a hard I
- 9:00Speaker 1: never quit telling them jokes. Man. I just kept believing
- 9:03Speaker 1: that them jokes was gonna pay me one day, and
- 9:06Speaker 1: I'll be dog gone if it didn't. I ain't take
- 9:09Speaker 1: no time off. Go work at the Walmart, give me
- 9:11Speaker 1: a job, go back to Forward and beg for my
- 9:13Speaker 1: job back. Hey, man, put all your eggs in a basket.
- 9:18Speaker 1: Just make sure that your basket is made up of faith, hope, belief,
- 9:21Speaker 1: hard work. Your basket woven by God. What you're tripping for,
- 9:28Speaker 1: You're defeating yourself. Where is your faith? Where is your belief?
- 9:33Speaker 1: Where is your trust? At one point in time, you
- 9:36Speaker 1: got to believe that God could do what he say
- 9:38Speaker 1: gonna do because he'dn't done it for others, he'll most
- 9:40Speaker 1: certainly do it for you. Be careful of these sayings
- 9:44Speaker 1: that's out here, that's aligned by losers and people to
- 9:48Speaker 1: justify why they are not succeeded. Don't apply this stuff
- 9:51Speaker 1: to your life. And it ain't got nothing to do
- 9:52Speaker 1: with you. You're gonna mess yourself up, all right? Okay,
- 9:57Speaker 1: you're listening show, ladies and gentlemen, it is upon us
- 10:04Speaker 1: a new day gratitude. Oh man, thank you Lord for
- 10:07Speaker 1: waking me up this morning. I feel good about that. Man. Wow,
- 10:11Speaker 1: what a great blessing it is to get up every
- 10:13Speaker 1: morning y'all to celebrate that it's a new day. Let's
- 10:16Speaker 1: get it on Steve Harvey Marty's show. WHOA what a
- 10:23Speaker 1: good heart? Laugh I need today, Shirley start baring calling
- 10:28Speaker 1: for real matha to South Junior government name, kiss fates,
- 10:33Speaker 1: the legend of nephew Tommy, yours truly, Junior. What's on
- 10:38Speaker 1: your mind today? Okay? Uh, well, let's talk about it. Man.
- 10:42Speaker 1: You my mentor, you helped me with a lot of things.
- 10:45Speaker 1: Do you have mentors? Do you have people that you
- 10:48Speaker 1: turn to at your level? Right now? Yeah? Yeah, couple
- 10:52Speaker 1: of people that I can call when I'm when I
- 10:55Speaker 1: feel sort of stuck, you know, because you need a friend,
- 10:59Speaker 1: you know that you can run stuff by Sometimes sometimes
- 11:02Speaker 1: you just want to say it out loud and bounce
- 11:04Speaker 1: it off another person. So I got a couple of
- 11:07Speaker 1: people I could call, you know, I call them. They
- 11:10Speaker 1: are all men. Not saying women aren't capable. I just
- 11:14Speaker 1: I'm not allowed to call them though, say that. Yeah, yeah,
- 11:28Speaker 1: how she know? Oh oh you didn't want to ask
- 11:31Speaker 1: your wife I'm her? Yes, No I do, man. I'll
- 11:37Speaker 1: tell you who I don't call though, And this is
- 11:40Speaker 1: gonna help us out today. I tell you know, I
- 11:43Speaker 1: would never call never herschel Walker. That's a resounding no.
- 11:51Speaker 1: Yeah today, man, I hope we find a couple of
- 11:53Speaker 1: commercials that I want to point out to our attention.
- 11:57Speaker 1: But the one is not a commercial, but it endorsement
- 12:00Speaker 1: from Lindsey Graham for herschel Walker telling black people how
- 12:06Speaker 1: important herschel Walker is to us, for us. I wish, man,
- 12:12Speaker 1: I wish I had kept that. It was the worst
- 12:15Speaker 1: thing Sisquen. Does Lindsey Graham care about what's best for
- 12:19Speaker 1: us or even know what's best for us? But have
- 12:22Speaker 1: the audacity to tell us how good herschel Walker is
- 12:26Speaker 1: for us. But then he didn't realize he was saying
- 12:30Speaker 1: it's good for conservatism because herschel Walker will lead more
- 12:35Speaker 1: African Americans to Conservatism if he would to get elected.
- 12:40Speaker 1: He's just what the African Americans needed. I was looking
- 12:44Speaker 1: at him, going boy. He actually said, I wish I
- 12:49Speaker 1: hope I find it so I can play it back
- 12:51Speaker 1: to this morning what Lindsay Graham said on behalf of him.
- 12:56Speaker 1: But it's just ridiculous. And we got a bigger runoff
- 12:59Speaker 1: election coming off here in Georgia. It's down to Georgia again.
- 13:04Speaker 1: I want all of our constituents who voted to go
- 13:07Speaker 1: back to the polls and vote again. And I want
- 13:09Speaker 1: the ones who set out to understand how important it
- 13:13Speaker 1: is for you not to sit that out, because had
- 13:16Speaker 1: you not set out, it would have been enough. But
- 13:19Speaker 1: then I think we've got to talk to our other
- 13:22Speaker 1: people who are non African Americans and ask them what
- 13:28Speaker 1: are you thinking with herschel Walker. All right, all right,
- 13:35Speaker 1: thank you, Steve. Coming up at thirty two minutes after
- 13:37Speaker 1: the hour, we'll have some church complaints from rebend Motown
- 13:40Speaker 1: and Deacon death Jam right after this. You're listening, all right,
- 13:46Speaker 1: it is time now it's Monday, you know, so we
- 13:49Speaker 1: gotta have some church complaints from Reverend Motown and Deacon
- 13:52Speaker 1: death Jam. We we gavel this morning disperously, yeah, knowing
- 14:04Speaker 1: that abiquarily we will jostify, yeah, into the realm of reality.
- 14:19Speaker 1: Weed is morning. We come to you with asquaciousness that boy,
- 14:27Speaker 1: you know, and things of that nature. Sometimes we die
- 14:32Speaker 1: terribly regressingly progress, you know what I'm saying. I let
- 14:41Speaker 1: us begin now with church complaints from our very own
- 14:46Speaker 1: decondif gem Yes, all right, Pastor, I rather tiring Beasley.
- 14:53Speaker 1: He has an issue now. He dressed up like black
- 14:56Speaker 1: Panther this weekend and I got got his butt weep
- 15:02Speaker 1: at the McDonald drive through and at the dollars though.
- 15:05Speaker 1: He says he's stuck in the suit and can't get
- 15:07Speaker 1: it out. He wants the church's help. That's your carl
- 15:10Speaker 1: on that, Pa. We don't do a Halloween Hill visit
- 15:17Speaker 1: the sick and the shutting in. The Only way we
- 15:21Speaker 1: can help him is he going the house and call
- 15:24Speaker 1: in as a sick and shut end from now and
- 15:29Speaker 1: then we can send a sister Albigail over there and
- 15:33Speaker 1: cut him out the super Miguel. But as long as
- 15:36Speaker 1: he's going out in his asked for nothing, we can
- 15:39Speaker 1: do about that. But did he go to the movie?
- 15:46Speaker 1: I don't know if he went to the movie. Why
- 15:47Speaker 1: kind of fever let me and say that fresh him
- 15:49Speaker 1: from up. But I don't know if he went to
- 15:51Speaker 1: the movie or night. Well, I understood that he's been
- 15:55Speaker 1: walking everywhere across the latex suit. He's so big he
- 16:01Speaker 1: can't turn the spin wheel because on the pleathor can't
- 16:09Speaker 1: go right or left. An I got the dendril man,
- 16:16Speaker 1: I got the vision. All right, I'm moving out. I
- 16:21Speaker 1: passed the brother Marvin's funeral, as you know, it was
- 16:25Speaker 1: just passed Saturday. Now, apparently the funeral home did not
- 16:30Speaker 1: you know, they normally sold the suit fleaves down and
- 16:35Speaker 1: they didn't do that. And during the funeral, Brother Marvin's
- 16:38Speaker 1: arm moved and flung outside the casket. We got sixteen
- 16:42Speaker 1: members and I see you they was all trying to
- 16:44Speaker 1: get out to do at the same time. We need
- 16:47Speaker 1: to go down there and visit these people as well
- 16:49Speaker 1: as paper a few hospital bills. You know, that's the
- 16:53Speaker 1: second time that's happened. Oh, that's why I've said from
- 16:59Speaker 1: now on that all funerals, the double doors at the
- 17:02Speaker 1: back of the church have to remain open. These victims
- 17:08Speaker 1: was trampled getting out of there. It happened to wake too.
- 17:14Speaker 1: That's why we has our wakes right in front of though.
- 17:18Speaker 1: Oh or service, not the night before. Keep the double
- 17:23Speaker 1: doors open that way, because I remember four years ago
- 17:27Speaker 1: or sister Auberlin set straight up in the hood casketown.
- 17:31Speaker 1: I remember that. I remember that, what do you now?
- 17:37Speaker 1: Straight up? And I got out that down. I remember
- 17:45Speaker 1: we didn't have church for a month. We got an issue.
- 17:52Speaker 1: I don't you're now the temperature is just so tense
- 17:55Speaker 1: right now. But our white members I wanted to marge
- 18:00Speaker 1: of their own shopping day. They saying that after Black Friday,
- 18:04Speaker 1: they want White Saturday. I don't, I don't understand what this.
- 18:09Speaker 1: But they want us to march with them for this
- 18:12Speaker 1: called and it's it's it's your call, path, But that's
- 18:14Speaker 1: what we're not that of the been had white Christmas?
- 18:18Speaker 1: What the past um dreaming white Christmas? Come on? All
- 18:31Speaker 1: we got is a Black Friday. And you got a
- 18:35Speaker 1: problem with that? Now, Lord, miss what about full for
- 18:41Speaker 1: July that ain't and the rockets red glare bristed in
- 18:48Speaker 1: the air. Oh say, can you see the dogs like?
- 18:57Speaker 1: Come on so proudly we heal as the Twilight last.
- 19:04Speaker 1: Ain't nobody wrote that bottle white. There's not a moving
- 19:10Speaker 1: line in that song. Emotionally want, emotionally stirn Nope, yeah,
- 19:20Speaker 1: you kids read lab could be shot at about bursting
- 19:31Speaker 1: in all. That's an invasion when gay prow thro the night,
- 19:40Speaker 1: let me get to that no night dog outse didn't
- 19:45Speaker 1: we shoot? You're gonna need to hear that fron eye hold.
- 19:49Speaker 1: I don't tell yourself now, I'm just one the one
- 19:51Speaker 1: that brings the news. I heard Joe Walker wants to
- 19:54Speaker 1: come and speak here at the track run off run
- 20:00Speaker 1: off against Senator whynot Now he's asking all to me
- 20:04Speaker 1: and the wear overalls and straw hats, and he wants
- 20:09Speaker 1: to he wants out the ladies to wear dusters that
- 20:11Speaker 1: they wants to teach us a new line dance called shucking. Yah.
- 20:18Speaker 1: It's und you pass if you want. I'm not gonna happen.
- 20:23Speaker 1: I'm almost inclined to have hershel really really and it's
- 20:34Speaker 1: a damn shame. He's in a running for this here
- 20:39Speaker 1: right this country. All right, thank you. That is church
- 20:43Speaker 1: complaints for today. Coming up next, we're gonna ask the CLO.
- 20:49Speaker 1: Chief Love Officer, Steve Harvey will be in the building
- 20:52Speaker 1: for your love questions. Right after this, you're listening Steve
- 20:57Speaker 1: Morning Show coming up at the top of the hour.
- 21:00Speaker 1: In entertainment news, comedian Dave Chappelle hosted Saturday Night Lives
- 21:04Speaker 1: post election episode like he has for the past couple
- 21:07Speaker 1: of years, and his monologue is already already being criticized.
- 21:13Speaker 1: And Netflix will have his first ever live streaming stand
- 21:16Speaker 1: up comedy show. It will star Chris Rock. But right now,
- 21:20Speaker 1: it is time to ask the ClOH Ane In Long
- 21:25Speaker 1: Island Rights, I'm thirty five and I sell cars. I've
- 21:28Speaker 1: been dating a guy I sold a car to. He's
- 21:31Speaker 1: got great credit, swag, a nice house, and he's cute.
- 21:36Speaker 1: The only problem is that he has a speech impediment.
- 21:39Speaker 1: I end up helping him talk and it frustrates him.
- 21:43Speaker 1: I get frustrated too, and I want to suggest speech
- 21:46Speaker 1: therapy with that hurt his feelings? Right, No, he said
- 22:00Speaker 1: thirty six. She's thirty six, just a guy. She filled
- 22:04Speaker 1: the car too. Oh, I thought it was a hershel
- 22:07Speaker 1: because you know how long think about that car, it's all. Well, see,
- 22:17Speaker 1: if it's speech impediment, is stuttering though, that's gonna be
- 22:20Speaker 1: that's gonna hurt me because I have a special affinity
- 22:23Speaker 1: for people who stutter. Because yeah, she said it myself,
- 22:28Speaker 1: she said she helps him. Yeah, it might be. She
- 22:31Speaker 1: didn't say stuttering, but it might be because that's the
- 22:34Speaker 1: only one you can help him, which you can't help
- 22:36Speaker 1: him about it with nothing less. You know, you gotta list.
- 22:38Speaker 1: It's just a list. But nobody if you take all
- 22:41Speaker 1: that speeds and that thies out your words, they're just
- 22:44Speaker 1: gonna let you say it. Yeah, should she suggest to
- 22:51Speaker 1: speech therapy with that her to speak? No, that ain't
- 22:53Speaker 1: gonna help dog, That ain't. You're gonna have to go
- 22:55Speaker 1: and just work with him. Yeah. That's hard to quick
- 22:59Speaker 1: studying when you really old, because you don't believe you can.
- 23:02Speaker 1: So what is she doing that? Yeah? You know, like,
- 23:06Speaker 1: see Tommy, you go ahead and start studying and I'll
- 23:08Speaker 1: show you how she doing so. So what he trying
- 23:13Speaker 1: to say is so you just be asking someone? Yeah,
- 23:17Speaker 1: so she just cuts them off. We we we you
- 23:21Speaker 1: want want tonight tonight to be fine, baby, man, tonight,
- 23:27Speaker 1: I was just thinking about, you know, steak restaurant, to
- 23:30Speaker 1: be good too, man, Wenna share No, no, no, no,
- 23:38Speaker 1: she helped him. You got to els gonna be a minute.
- 23:42Speaker 1: Well they're they're together, and she's just work with him. Yeah, okay,
- 23:51Speaker 1: so just work with them, you're saying, yeah, work with him,
- 23:54Speaker 1: going anticipate tongue tied. When tongue tied on the show,
- 23:58Speaker 1: Sherley translates, I remember that because tune Tide is a
- 24:04Speaker 1: real character that I grew up with. Oh okay, named
- 24:08Speaker 1: Louis John. Okay, okay, yeah, all right. Moving on to
- 24:17Speaker 1: Carrie in Saint Louis, Carrie says, I took my mom
- 24:21Speaker 1: to the doctor and we stopped by the store so
- 24:24Speaker 1: she could buy a coke. I gave her a twenty
- 24:26Speaker 1: dollars bill for her coke, and she bought a lot
- 24:28Speaker 1: of ticket with my change. Days later, I found the
- 24:32Speaker 1: ticket in my car and it's worth two hundred dollars.
- 24:36Speaker 1: Mom is tripping and it was my money that she used.
- 24:39Speaker 1: So do I owe her any of the money? Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, y'a.
- 24:44Speaker 1: All you get out of that is your twenty Your
- 24:46Speaker 1: mama get up on eighty. Woo, that's how that worked. Yeah,
- 24:50Speaker 1: you all herd to twenty. I mean, you get your
- 24:52Speaker 1: twenty back. But it was your mama's ticket and it's
- 24:55Speaker 1: worth two hundred. And she bought the lottery tickets. If
- 24:59Speaker 1: she hadn't bought a lot take, that would be no
- 25:01Speaker 1: two hundred. So get your twenty back, So which is
- 25:04Speaker 1: all you wanted anyway, And give your mama the one
- 25:07Speaker 1: eighty and then have that. Yeah, and it wasn't more
- 25:16Speaker 1: than that, it'd be a fight. I wouldn't even told you. Yeah, right,
- 25:23Speaker 1: all right. Moving on to Tsha and Duluth. Tsha says,
- 25:28Speaker 1: I just found out my husband had an affair for
- 25:32Speaker 1: three months. His mistress called and sent pictures. I find
- 25:37Speaker 1: it odd that he would cheat because I'm always down
- 25:40Speaker 1: to have a threesome. Our marriage is very unconventional one.
- 25:44Speaker 1: So so do I have the right to be upset? Well? Wow,
- 25:50Speaker 1: you always down for threesome, You always down for cheating? Anyway,
- 25:54Speaker 1: he just made it a falsom. What's the difference between
- 25:57Speaker 1: threesomoun of falsom? That would be four people? Well, I
- 26:01Speaker 1: mean marriages between only two people. So once sheroduced the
- 26:06Speaker 1: third and you cool with that. I ain't no needed
- 26:08Speaker 1: to trip about the fourth. Well, I guess because he
- 26:12Speaker 1: didn't tell her he had the affair Steve for permission.
- 26:18Speaker 1: How cheating works. M that's not how cheating works, folks. Ye,
- 26:23Speaker 1: cheating is not a permissible uh. In fact, in fraction,
- 26:28Speaker 1: you don't get permission to cheat, then it wouldn't be cheating.
- 26:31Speaker 1: You're asking for permission, and who's gonna get you permission? Nobody?
- 26:35Speaker 1: So she's okay, let me ask you this. She says,
- 26:38Speaker 1: their marriage is very, very unconventional. So obviously it's not open. Then,
- 26:45Speaker 1: not unconventional, it is open, it's very so now it's
- 26:50Speaker 1: some more unconventional stuff that happen in it. What's wrong?
- 26:54Speaker 1: He said it was unconventional. He tired of doing it
- 26:57Speaker 1: with her dog, He tired of doing it with her already. Yeah,
- 27:02Speaker 1: you always down for a threesome. Okay, cool? Why would
- 27:05Speaker 1: he cheat? You shouldn't even be hurt, that's what. That's what.
- 27:10Speaker 1: That's her question. Does she have the right? What the
- 27:15Speaker 1: hell you've seen these people ben't here before? Now? What
- 27:21Speaker 1: is the surprise that it's some both people in here?
- 27:26Speaker 1: Who's always down for whatever? But yeah, well down getting
- 27:32Speaker 1: to being down because he goes some more whatever hurt?
- 27:38Speaker 1: Why but she is hurt though? That's stupid. You can't.
- 27:44Speaker 1: You can't have to be okay with cheating and not
- 27:47Speaker 1: be okay with you had it. Be careful for what
- 27:51Speaker 1: you wish for you because we got plenty more with it.
- 27:55Speaker 1: You all you like cheating. We got one that called
- 27:58Speaker 1: from Yeah he's mad. He didn't tell her. I ain't
- 28:01Speaker 1: want to tell you, just said you was down for whatever.
- 28:11Speaker 1: All I do and tested out before it came over
- 28:14Speaker 1: here because I don't want to inferior product coming into
- 28:20Speaker 1: So I went over and tested it out for three
- 28:23Speaker 1: months and it didn't work out. Was just what I thought.
- 28:25Speaker 1: It was a little bit much that he just have
- 28:27Speaker 1: a sending picture. See, we would have had that in
- 28:30Speaker 1: our marriage. And she fortunate that I went over here
- 28:34Speaker 1: and found this out before she started sending it. She
- 28:37Speaker 1: didn't have pictures outs everywhere. She said, she finds it
- 28:42Speaker 1: odd cheat. She finds it odd that we would that
- 28:46Speaker 1: he would cheat. You found it odd he would cheat,
- 28:50Speaker 1: That's what she said. You didn't think it was odd
- 28:52Speaker 1: when he bought the first one, and now he was
- 28:57Speaker 1: down with whatever. Now down. Yeah, all right, all right, cello,
- 29:06Speaker 1: thank you. Coming up at the top of the hour,
- 29:10Speaker 1: we'll have some entertainment news for you right after this.
- 29:13Speaker 1: You're listening to show, all right, So I know you
- 29:19Speaker 1: guys saw Dave Chappelle's monologue Saturday night on Saturday Night Live.
- 29:23Speaker 1: It looks more like Chappelle. Yeah, it was. It was brilliant.
- 29:27Speaker 1: Looked more like Chappelle was doing a long stand up
- 29:30Speaker 1: set when he joked about several hot topics, but mostly
- 29:33Speaker 1: Chappelle focused on Kanye's anti Semitic comments over recent weeks.
- 29:39Speaker 1: He joked about Trump and the ten thousand pages of
- 29:42Speaker 1: documents Trump added his house, and then he went in
- 29:45Speaker 1: on herschell Walker, calling him quote observantly is stupid. Okay, yes,
- 29:55Speaker 1: Chappelle was ready for it. Well, um m. Chappelle is
- 29:59Speaker 1: already receiving backlash from Anti the Anti Defamation League. The
- 30:04Speaker 1: CEO there, Jonathan Greenblatt, called out chappelle Saturday Night Live
- 30:09Speaker 1: monologue for not just normalizing but popularizing anti Semitism. He tweeted,
- 30:15Speaker 1: we shouldn't expect Dave Chappelle to serve as society's moral compass,
- 30:19Speaker 1: but disturbing to see Saturday Night Live not just normalized,
- 30:23Speaker 1: but popularized, popularized anti semitism. Why are Jewish sensitivities denied
- 30:29Speaker 1: or diminished at almost every turn? Why does our trauma
- 30:34Speaker 1: trigger applause? That's not what I did you get that
- 30:40Speaker 1: out of that? I mean, I know we're not Jewish
- 30:42Speaker 1: or anything, but did what was he what was he saying?
- 30:47Speaker 1: I mean chappelle? Well, I mean definitely comedy. Now it
- 30:56Speaker 1: is so the council culture so real. You can't say
- 31:01Speaker 1: anything about any body any more now, uh uh, Dave
- 31:10Speaker 1: said the N word. You no outcry? Ain't ain't no outcry?
- 31:19Speaker 1: And how is that okay? Though? I mean, why isn't
- 31:23Speaker 1: there an outcry? Well? I mean because we don't have
- 31:27Speaker 1: a defense league, we don't have a group of people
- 31:32Speaker 1: to protect us. That's that's not I don't even care.
- 31:36Speaker 1: I don't even care. But the thing that bothered me
- 31:40Speaker 1: now is this man has come out, but he's preempted
- 31:45Speaker 1: the statement by saying that Dave is not the moral compass,
- 31:50Speaker 1: and he's not. He is a comedian, right, And I
- 31:55Speaker 1: don't know what he meant by normalizing or popularize hies
- 32:00Speaker 1: and popularizing I don't know what that means. But I
- 32:03Speaker 1: thought the set was absolutely brilliant. I mean, okay, let
- 32:07Speaker 1: me ask you this. As comedians and what is your job?
- 32:12Speaker 1: What are you supposed to do with the number one job?
- 32:14Speaker 1: To make people laugh? But it's also tied in at
- 32:20Speaker 1: laughing at stuff that we're not supposed to laugh at
- 32:23Speaker 1: it to to point out the absurdness, the ridiculousness, and
- 32:30Speaker 1: the unspoken and to bring it out in the form
- 32:33Speaker 1: of comedy, that's our job, I'm telling you right now.
- 32:37Speaker 1: Dave Chappelle, to me, after watching that is a throwback
- 32:42Speaker 1: to a cross between a Dick Gregory with a larger
- 32:48Speaker 1: platform and the late grade Paul Mooney with with with
- 32:54Speaker 1: a little bit more sensitivity to it. You put those
- 32:59Speaker 1: commination of people together with Dave's Jeni, with Dave's genius,
- 33:03Speaker 1: and you have Dave Chappelle. And did that set not
- 33:06Speaker 1: show you? Did day just not demonstrate how one man
- 33:09Speaker 1: told his own career down. That holds it. He just
- 33:12Speaker 1: showed how Kanye West set himself on fire canceled him.
- 33:20Speaker 1: But then you know there's an outcry that we should
- 33:23Speaker 1: all be supporting Kanye and Kyrie Irving. Kyrie Irving, I
- 33:28Speaker 1: don't understand what's happening to him. I really really don't.
- 33:32Speaker 1: This brother just posted the video, he didn't even put
- 33:34Speaker 1: a caption with it, and now he's apologized, but now
- 33:38Speaker 1: they're still suspending him and making him gravel back. I
- 33:41Speaker 1: think that's file on so many levels. It's like, you know, man,
- 33:44Speaker 1: I mean, somebody else do it, and what happens to him.
- 33:47Speaker 1: I don't see nobody having being forced to pay fines
- 33:50Speaker 1: and stuff like that. Now Kanye. Kanye threw himself off
- 33:55Speaker 1: the cliff, and it's just continually down that hill. And
- 33:59Speaker 1: I think it's at the point where now where Kanye
- 34:02Speaker 1: just needs some type of counseling from somebody who knows
- 34:06Speaker 1: and cares about him to say, hey, bro, look what's
- 34:09Speaker 1: the goal here. Let's get the goal. Let's get a
- 34:12Speaker 1: plan to go about going after the goal. But Dave
- 34:15Speaker 1: Chappelle's thing was absolutely fine. I saw no problem with
- 34:19Speaker 1: it myself personally well. Moving on to another comedy legend
- 34:24Speaker 1: in the news, Netflix hasn't. Netflix has announced that it
- 34:27Speaker 1: will make its first attempt at streaming a live comedy
- 34:32Speaker 1: special with Chris Rock. Netflix VP of Comedy Format said,
- 34:38Speaker 1: We're thrilled the entire world will be able to experience
- 34:41Speaker 1: a live Chris Rock comedy event and be part of
- 34:43Speaker 1: Netflix history. This will be an unforgettable moment and we're
- 34:48Speaker 1: so honored that Chris is carrying this torch. The special
- 34:51Speaker 1: will reportedly stream live in early next year, twenty twenty three.
- 34:56Speaker 1: So that's great for Chris Rock coadulation. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 35:03Speaker 1: And finally, uh what condo ever? Of course came in
- 35:07Speaker 1: number one at the box office, making one hundred and
- 35:10Speaker 1: eighty million dollars. Okay, the biggest opening I tried. It
- 35:19Speaker 1: was all sold out this night. It was so good.
- 35:26Speaker 1: I see you, girls, I see you. Congratulations All right,
- 35:31Speaker 1: coming up for twenty minutes after the hour. Democrats are
- 35:35Speaker 1: increasingly optimistic about holding the Senate after a win in Nevada,
- 35:39Speaker 1: and we'll talk about it right after this. You're listening
- 35:42Speaker 1: to show. Democratic Senator Katherine Cortez Mastro of Nevada narrowly
- 35:49Speaker 1: defeated Republican Adam Laxalt to win reelection. Mastro's victory means
- 35:55Speaker 1: Democrats will hold the Senate regardless of the outcome of
- 35:58Speaker 1: Georgia's December six runoff election. That is great news. When
- 36:02Speaker 1: Democratic Senator Raphael Warnock and Republican herschel Walker will once
- 36:07Speaker 1: again face each other. Democrats retain fifty seats in the
- 36:10Speaker 1: closely divided chamber, with Vice President Kamala Harris holding the
- 36:14Speaker 1: tie breaking vote. So there you go. Yeah, but we
- 36:17Speaker 1: got to really secure this thing because don't have the
- 36:20Speaker 1: same old control we have is fifty fifty in Kamala
- 36:23Speaker 1: has breaks to tide. Vice President Kamala Harris breaks to time.
- 36:27Speaker 1: We need Warnock to win. So it's acid of and
- 36:32Speaker 1: decisive country, finicious work. We are in a war over here.
- 36:39Speaker 1: These Republicans and Conservatives have scraped the bottom of the
- 36:44Speaker 1: barrel just for a win. They have a candidate in
- 36:49Speaker 1: herschel Walker who exemplifies none of the qualities that they
- 36:54Speaker 1: claim to be running on, which they are not. But
- 36:57Speaker 1: he is so the direct opposite. I do not appreciate
- 37:00Speaker 1: Lindsey Graham coming on over the weekend touting herschel Walker's
- 37:05Speaker 1: a need for black people to join the Conservative Party,
- 37:10Speaker 1: when in actuality, it wasn't really to help black people
- 37:14Speaker 1: at all. It was to help his program and his
- 37:16Speaker 1: plot to move the conservative movement forward. Herschel Walker isn't
- 37:20Speaker 1: good for anything or anybody except to move their conservative agenda. Forward.
- 37:26Speaker 1: We have got to get to the polls in Georgia again,
- 37:30Speaker 1: and we are going to show up again. And those
- 37:33Speaker 1: of us that didn't go are going to go, and
- 37:36Speaker 1: those of who has went will go back. Because this
- 37:40Speaker 1: guy right here is so the wrong representation of anybody,
- 37:47Speaker 1: but especially for us, and for them to go and
- 37:50Speaker 1: get him, move him to Georgia and prop him up
- 37:54Speaker 1: to bring down Raphael Warnock so they could get power
- 37:58Speaker 1: in control. It's the most obvious, blatant attempt with the
- 38:03Speaker 1: most unqualified candidate if you went in God who herschel
- 38:09Speaker 1: Walker and for Lindsey Graham to be talking about how
- 38:12Speaker 1: we should stop destroying this man's character, which he has
- 38:16Speaker 1: already destroyed. His family don't support him, his ex wife
- 38:21Speaker 1: don't support him, He got no support from He demand
- 38:26Speaker 1: paying for abortions, He beaten women, He don't talk to
- 38:29Speaker 1: his own children, He denied taking care of his own child.
- 38:32Speaker 1: What what you're gonna get? The worst example what you
- 38:37Speaker 1: always talking about? We are and then you prop him
- 38:40Speaker 1: up as the face of your party as a senator
- 38:43Speaker 1: governor senator candidate in the state of Georgia. Man, get
- 38:46Speaker 1: out here and then y'all run down there and vote
- 38:48Speaker 1: for him blindly. I really just want to whoop your
- 38:51Speaker 1: ass because what we're gonna switch gears here coming out.
- 39:02Speaker 1: You're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, ladies
- 39:07Speaker 1: and gentlemen, she is here. She is here, dressed in
- 39:10Speaker 1: all white like an angel. Lord, sister. Music is late,
- 39:17Speaker 1: but I'm out a good morning every wash Shirley, good morning.
- 39:22Speaker 1: Hi calling hey sister all day. How are you doing?
- 39:25Speaker 1: It's a shipping Monica, that's hello. Yeah, Junior boy his
- 39:31Speaker 1: you good morning? And so then I'm great Thomas boyd Yes, ma'am,
- 39:36Speaker 1: good morning, I'm doing well. Praying for you, yes man.
- 39:43Speaker 1: The healing business, Thomas, don't begin it now? You see?
- 39:47Speaker 1: Oh no, Ray he's back out on the stage. The
- 39:50Speaker 1: story I know he was. Some people call me. You know,
- 39:53Speaker 1: some people they ain't really going to heaven and they
- 39:55Speaker 1: went to the club building nights call when I was
- 40:00Speaker 1: glad they wouldn't seem in verifying. God is in the healing.
- 40:05Speaker 1: What's going on today? Well, I wanted to bring this up,
- 40:10Speaker 1: this subject up and just get your take on at
- 40:12Speaker 1: your opinion, sister, Odella, It's about Nick Cannon. Nick Cannon
- 40:16Speaker 1: has a bunch of kids and yeah, and over the
- 40:19Speaker 1: weekend he welcomed We're not quite sure it's either his
- 40:23Speaker 1: eleventh or his twelfth baby girl to the world um
- 40:27Speaker 1: with Abby day LaRosa. On on Friday, Nick and Abbey
- 40:32Speaker 1: uh named their daughter Beautiful Zeppelin Cannon. Uh. So, I
- 40:38Speaker 1: just want to ask you, sister, Odella, have you been
- 40:40Speaker 1: keeping up with Nick's baby news? I mean it seems
- 40:42Speaker 1: like every other yea. You know, first of all, you
- 40:45Speaker 1: know you're out. He had too many kids. When you
- 40:48Speaker 1: start naming your keya Zamplee hot air Balloon, you're the
- 40:53Speaker 1: red out of all the black names. Now you're doing
- 40:55Speaker 1: white rock Star Liz Zephyn, What Laprey was our naming
- 41:03Speaker 1: eight kids white rock stars? Da the red hat of black?
- 41:09Speaker 1: And they argument, what it's eleven or twelve? Listening If
- 41:12Speaker 1: you're on the grocery snow and you buy a dozen
- 41:16Speaker 1: eggs and you drive all the way home on Saturday,
- 41:22Speaker 1: I mean, you ain't up Sunday and you open up
- 41:24Speaker 1: the dozen and it's an egg missing. You won't ride
- 41:30Speaker 1: a whole contra back egg. So what would make me
- 41:36Speaker 1: eleven or twelve? It's a lot of eggs, It's a lot.
- 41:39Speaker 1: It's a lot doesn't almost does it. This is last
- 41:44Speaker 1: a lot of eggs. Uh huh. Yes, some comedy news
- 41:48Speaker 1: for your sister, Odell. Did you see Dave Chappelle on
- 41:51Speaker 1: Saturday Night Live? Girl? I love him because he's what
- 41:56Speaker 1: they call what's the word they say, he's conscience, controversial, personal,
- 42:01Speaker 1: and I just I just love him because he say
- 42:03Speaker 1: whatever you want to say, kill, don't kill. He gets
- 42:08Speaker 1: a lot of trouble. He gets you know lately, I've
- 42:11Speaker 1: got a lot of money. You know. He don't care nothing, boy,
- 42:14Speaker 1: trouble because he go looking forward. He speaks his mind.
- 42:18Speaker 1: He does speaking mind and mind too. Oh yeah, we
- 42:24Speaker 1: need to fight a way to get him saved and
- 42:26Speaker 1: get him in the pulpit. Oh what why? What I mean? Not? Why? Now?
- 42:32Speaker 1: You telling the truth? You know we got enough, okay,
- 42:36Speaker 1: all rights in the pulpit. Ain't called. Some of them
- 42:41Speaker 1: just went they just shot up. You know, it's a
- 42:49Speaker 1: difference between you call and just win. What's the difference. Well,
- 42:54Speaker 1: when you when you called, Jesus asked you to come
- 42:57Speaker 1: and put it on your life in your heart, Yes, ma'am,
- 43:00Speaker 1: uh huh. Some of these men just go down. They
- 43:03Speaker 1: ain't went to the seminar school or nothing to the
- 43:06Speaker 1: what seminar school seminary simony? You know, because you gotta
- 43:12Speaker 1: see how many scriptures you can remember, so it's school.
- 43:17Speaker 1: You gotta sew you can know, so it's a seminar school.
- 43:21Speaker 1: See him in you can remember that if I looked
- 43:24Speaker 1: at Steve several times for it. But he not a
- 43:27Speaker 1: good candidate. Listen, Oh he's not because a lot because
- 43:31Speaker 1: he's not gonna want to do he don't do good.
- 43:35Speaker 1: Oh yeah, it's true. We all know that for a fact.
- 43:38Speaker 1: You just shut well. Thank you, sister odell Ford stopping
- 43:46Speaker 1: right in the time, Sean appreciate having a shot a
- 43:49Speaker 1: segment on the show coming up the nephew with today's
- 43:54Speaker 1: frank phone call right after this year. You're listening to
- 44:02Speaker 1: morning show coming up at about four minutes after the hour.
- 44:06Speaker 1: It's my strawberry letter for today, the subject what does
- 44:10Speaker 1: she have that I don't? We'll get into that in
- 44:12Speaker 1: just a bit, but right now the nephew is here
- 44:15Speaker 1: with today's praying phone call. What you got for his neap?
- 44:18Speaker 1: You know what? I got a lot? You know I
- 44:20Speaker 1: got an ignorant prank. You know I got something stupid,
- 44:23Speaker 1: But I first want to say thank you the Charleston,
- 44:26Speaker 1: South Carolina, the Low Country. See your boy came out
- 44:31Speaker 1: in big numbers and I stood there and did the
- 44:33Speaker 1: damn thing. I want to thank you for my boys.
- 44:35Speaker 1: That's the nephew time your friends them boy did they
- 44:38Speaker 1: dalgonna thing. And the next stop is Greenville, North Carolina
- 44:42Speaker 1: the summer twenty second, I'm grabbing the mike and gain.
- 44:45Speaker 1: So the nephew was gradually coming back. All right, hey man,
- 44:50Speaker 1: So how was it at the Greenville Convention Center, Uncle Steve,
- 44:53Speaker 1: Greenville Convention Center, that is where I would be the
- 44:57Speaker 1: similar to twenty second, and tickets are on STA Red
- 45:01Speaker 1: nine feet getting back out there, Oh my god, you
- 45:05Speaker 1: know what I'm standing Ovation when I came, and I'm
- 45:07Speaker 1: standing Ovation when I left. You can't beat that shire.
- 45:10Speaker 1: So I had to stop them tea. I had to
- 45:13Speaker 1: stop them tills and get to the jokes. I'm about
- 45:15Speaker 1: to start crying, but I got through it. Good, good,
- 45:20Speaker 1: good good. You know, he did a little bit a
- 45:26Speaker 1: lit but it was it was good. Get me back
- 45:30Speaker 1: on stage and get back into the swaying up. So
- 45:33Speaker 1: thank you Charleston, South Carolina. Next stop, Greenville, North Carolina.
- 45:38Speaker 1: All right, now, this right here, it's prank call. It's
- 45:41Speaker 1: garnish your wages. Garnish your wages, stupidity. It continues here
- 45:48Speaker 1: it is. I'm trying to reach your y'alla. My name
- 45:53Speaker 1: is Yuh from the District Attorney's office. Yes, how are
- 45:57Speaker 1: you giving you a call today? Man? I'm trying to
- 45:59Speaker 1: get some updates from you. Your husband, mister is he
- 46:03Speaker 1: uh still not working at this point? No, sir? Okay?
- 46:08Speaker 1: How long has he been out of work so far? Ma'am?
- 46:10Speaker 1: Could you could you give me an update on this
- 46:12Speaker 1: first the year January? Okay, all right, here's what we're having.
- 46:17Speaker 1: The problems that we're having. You have a son, I
- 46:20Speaker 1: think it's his name is as Well, fourteen years old,
- 46:23Speaker 1: am I right? Okay? The child support is not being
- 46:27Speaker 1: paid for from mister for the for mister young and
- 46:33Speaker 1: then we're trying to get this thing rectified. Now. The
- 46:35Speaker 1: problem that we're gonna have in the reason why we're
- 46:37Speaker 1: giving you a call is considering that your husband hasn't
- 46:40Speaker 1: worked since the first of the year, and I haven't
- 46:42Speaker 1: done the research yet. I'm just I'm just not pulling
- 46:45Speaker 1: up your file. I haven't done the research to see
- 46:47Speaker 1: how many months in the rears he is on child support.
- 46:51Speaker 1: But he just started once he lost his chime. Okay, well,
- 46:55Speaker 1: the problem that work we're going to have is they're
- 46:57Speaker 1: gonna start taking child support actually, and I hate to
- 47:03Speaker 1: give you this news out of your check until I
- 47:05Speaker 1: don't understand how that so. Because I have my own kids.
- 47:08Speaker 1: I understand that. I understand. But they're gonna be garnishing
- 47:11Speaker 1: your check, ma'am until this until your husband can get
- 47:14Speaker 1: this thing back on his feet and get it rectified
- 47:16Speaker 1: and get him up to parts four of all the
- 47:18Speaker 1: payments that are hurt. And when will this be taking place?
- 47:21Speaker 1: Because if that's the case, I'm not gonna be working
- 47:24Speaker 1: because that's not gonna happen. I have my own children,
- 47:26Speaker 1: so I don't understand how that's so. I don't don't
- 47:29Speaker 1: have anything to do with child for it or anything
- 47:31Speaker 1: like that. And if that's the case, I'm not gonna
- 47:33Speaker 1: be working as of right now. The garnishing of the
- 47:35Speaker 1: check is gonna come from you. And you are at
- 47:37Speaker 1: the hospital, correct now, that's not it's not where you work.
- 47:41Speaker 1: I'm not gonna be working as of right now. That's
- 47:44Speaker 1: what I just told you. So y'all do whatever you
- 47:46Speaker 1: got to do, and I'll do whatever I have to
- 47:47Speaker 1: do on my end. Okay, well, hold on it. You're
- 47:49Speaker 1: willing to quit your job, I'm not understanding this. If
- 47:52Speaker 1: you're sure, why, because I'm not going to be taking
- 47:54Speaker 1: care of someone else's kids and I have my own,
- 47:57Speaker 1: So how that's right? So somebody else can take care
- 47:59Speaker 1: of mine? Stand because I'm not going to be doing it.
- 48:01Speaker 1: You're so right? All right? Well, I mean, I'm just
- 48:04Speaker 1: you know, don't I don't want you to be upset
- 48:05Speaker 1: with you. I don't want you to be upset with me.
- 48:07Speaker 1: I can be able to contact you, Okay, you know
- 48:11Speaker 1: I'm gonna I'm gonna let you know this. It's a
- 48:12Speaker 1: bit of information. You're still gonna if you're quitting your job. Man,
- 48:16Speaker 1: you guys are still gonna be liable for the child support. Okay,
- 48:20Speaker 1: Well that's fine, not you guys, because it's not my children, sir. Okay,
- 48:24Speaker 1: it's not you guys. He will be liable, okay, because
- 48:29Speaker 1: I don't. I mean, can I step can you hold
- 48:31Speaker 1: one moment because I need to step outside? If that's okay,
- 48:34Speaker 1: or if there's a number I can contact you back. Okay,
- 48:36Speaker 1: are you able to step outside right now? Um? Yes,
- 48:39Speaker 1: but I'm gonna get on the elevator and it's gonna
- 48:42Speaker 1: kinda so to call. Okay, let's do this. Why don't
- 48:44Speaker 1: you step outside and I'll wait for you to call.
- 48:47Speaker 1: Give me about forty five seconds, but I'm gonna give
- 48:49Speaker 1: a call to my manager on this situation. Okay, please, sir,
- 48:52Speaker 1: all right, thank you? Hello, okay, miss yes, sir Hi
- 49:00Speaker 1: Briggain from the District Attorney's office. Okay, you can hear
- 49:02Speaker 1: me now, yes, I can. Can you hear me? Yes, ma'am,
- 49:05Speaker 1: I sure can. Now, let's get to the bottom of everything.
- 49:07Speaker 1: I couldn't get my manager on the phone, but I'll
- 49:10Speaker 1: keep trying. I just want to know. I mean, that's
- 49:13Speaker 1: I'm just as men letting. I know you are and
- 49:16Speaker 1: I hate to be so short with you, but I
- 49:19Speaker 1: don't understand because we're not even getting enough. It ain't
- 49:21Speaker 1: come coming in as of right now. And you're speaking
- 49:24Speaker 1: of I have three children that I'm struggling to take
- 49:27Speaker 1: care of, all my owners trying somebody from the district.
- 49:32Speaker 1: But and you're speaking of that you're going to be
- 49:35Speaker 1: deducting money from gonna shan my check for his child. Worse,
- 49:39Speaker 1: what's your something? What's your name? Man? Who is there
- 49:43Speaker 1: someone else I need to speak with? No, we're on
- 49:45Speaker 1: the phone I have. That's my sister taking care of me.

- 50:07Speaker 1: be done? Because that's not gonna leave me to Cassaby
- 50:09Speaker 1: to support my own kids. Well, John, I mean in
- 50:12Speaker 1: my own home. I understand that. You know, maybe this
- 50:15Speaker 1: is a problem with having a person hanging around. Not
- 50:18Speaker 1: a person has raised the seat about his kids all
- 50:21Speaker 1: their life. This is a jealous mother that decided to
- 50:25Speaker 1: opt them eighteen years that she wanted to because that's
- 50:34Speaker 1: the support order. That's our support order. What what in
- 50:38Speaker 1: the hell is going on with those people in the background? Hello,
- 50:44Speaker 1: this nephew? Time he didn't hit the fan? She went off. No,
- 50:47Speaker 1: I couldn't get to go out with her. Sister was there?
- 50:50Speaker 1: Don't say nothing to him? Made her get off the phones.
- 50:52Speaker 1: I need you to call on three ways. They was
- 50:53Speaker 1: calling somebody. They probably calling downtown, gonna get themselves in

- 51:15Speaker 1: You're gonna make me. You're gonna make me whip your
- 51:20Speaker 1: behind this money. You will find out who he is.
- 51:22Speaker 1: You want to you want to tell it to my lawyer? Yeah?
- 51:25Speaker 1: I want to. Where is your You don't have a lawyer?
- 51:28Speaker 1: You don't know, well, you don't have one because I
- 51:30Speaker 1: know I don't tell who happens? Hard You got my
- 51:32Speaker 1: nove behind the po They have to for your job

- 53:51Speaker 1: you here it is strawberry letter, thank you nephew. Subject
- 53:55Speaker 1: what does she have that I don't? Dear Stephen Shirley,
- 53:59Speaker 1: I'm married to a man that is three years my senior,
- 54:02Speaker 1: and he is causing me so much anxiety. His first
- 54:06Speaker 1: wife is a big girl, and the woman he dated
- 54:09Speaker 1: after his divorce was thick too. When we met, he
- 54:12Speaker 1: called me nicknames like a little bit and tiny todd.
- 54:15Speaker 1: So I asked him if he had a problem with
- 54:17Speaker 1: my size. I'm five to three and I have a
- 54:20Speaker 1: tiny frame, but everything is proportionate. He has been making
- 54:24Speaker 1: me feel like I'm not thick enough. His ex wife
- 54:29Speaker 1: is still a big part of his life. They grew
- 54:31Speaker 1: up together, and she's very close to his mother too.
- 54:35Speaker 1: We can be having dinner at his mother's house and
- 54:37Speaker 1: the ex wife will pop in to say hello. It
- 54:40Speaker 1: was fine at first, but now it's giving me a
- 54:44Speaker 1: lot of anxiety because I think my husband is secretly
- 54:47Speaker 1: having an affair with her. I overheard him and his
- 54:50Speaker 1: cousin talking about how his ex wife is controlling and lazy.
- 54:55Speaker 1: Then my husband said that there was something that always
- 54:58Speaker 1: kept him coming back to her for years? What is
- 55:01Speaker 1: it that kept him going back? What does she have
- 55:04Speaker 1: that I don't. I own a creative dance studio and
- 55:08Speaker 1: I'm at home. I'm a home health nurse part time.
- 55:12Speaker 1: When we got married, he told me that he would
- 55:14Speaker 1: support me leaving nursing altogether so I could focus on
- 55:18Speaker 1: my dance studio. That has not happened. Instead, he paid
- 55:23Speaker 1: off the car that he bought his ex wife before
- 55:25Speaker 1: their divorce. He said he owed her that I take
- 55:29Speaker 1: great care of my man. And sex used to be
- 55:32Speaker 1: great between us, but now he rations it out to me.
- 55:37Speaker 1: He has told me I need a little more cushion
- 55:39Speaker 1: for the pushing, and I'm sure that means that my
- 55:42Speaker 1: booty is too small for him. I blame all of
- 55:47Speaker 1: this on his big boned X. What does this chick
- 55:52Speaker 1: have that I don't? Well, I guess booty for one.
- 55:58Speaker 1: But I think your husband needs to stop making you
- 56:01Speaker 1: feel some kind of way because he prefers big boned
- 56:04Speaker 1: or curvy women. You're you, and by the way, you
- 56:08Speaker 1: sound like you have a you know, a petite, cute,
- 56:11Speaker 1: little body, tight dancers type body. There are a lot
- 56:15Speaker 1: of men who would find you super attractive, you know.
- 56:18Speaker 1: So please stop comparing yourself to his ex wife and
- 56:21Speaker 1: do not change or blame yourself for who you are.
- 56:25Speaker 1: People come in all different shapes and sizes. We know
- 56:28Speaker 1: that because that's the way God made us. It's not you,
- 56:31Speaker 1: it's your husband. If he is cheating with his ex
- 56:34Speaker 1: like you think he is, then that's on him. It's
- 56:37Speaker 1: not on you. So again, please don't blame yourself. The
- 56:40Speaker 1: ex knows exactly what she's doing. She's being messy. She
- 56:45Speaker 1: just happens to drop by when you guys are at
- 56:47Speaker 1: his mom's for dinner. Oh really, it's disrespectful to your marriage,
- 56:52Speaker 1: and it's disrespectful to you. Your husband and his mother
- 56:55Speaker 1: could make her stop if they wanted to, and he
- 56:57Speaker 1: should care about how it makes you feel, but he doesn't.
- 57:02Speaker 1: And the fact that he paid her car off and
- 57:04Speaker 1: said he owed her that, why does he owe her that?
- 57:06Speaker 1: And now he's rationing out sex to you, Who does
- 57:09Speaker 1: he think he is? I think you need to think
- 57:11Speaker 1: about if you still want to be married to a
- 57:13Speaker 1: man you feel is cheating on you with his ex.
- 57:16Speaker 1: I think it's time for you to let him know
- 57:18Speaker 1: that you feel. You know how you feel about sister
- 57:20Speaker 1: big bone. That's what I think, Steve. Well, well, well
- 57:25Speaker 1: see the subject of the letters. What does she have
- 57:28Speaker 1: that I don't? I think we are to just answer
- 57:32Speaker 1: that question. Get on with this letter because it's feel
- 57:36Speaker 1: with what she got that you don't. I'm gonna read
- 57:41Speaker 1: it to you. Can you tell me what you think
- 57:44Speaker 1: she got that you don't have? His first wife is
- 57:48Speaker 1: a big girl, and the woman he dated after his
- 57:52Speaker 1: divorce was thick too, big girl, thick too. Your name
- 58:00Speaker 1: ain't at the end of this letter for her was
- 58:03Speaker 1: big boned X. Let's start with that. Because you your
- 58:12Speaker 1: nickname is lived it in tiny tot Tiny tot is
- 58:17Speaker 1: a small hash brown. That's where the tiny totty saying
- 58:25Speaker 1: that's where they got the name from. You are nothing
- 58:30Speaker 1: but a tater tot. He wanted that hash brown if
- 58:37Speaker 1: they bring out at dinnis the one that covered a
- 58:40Speaker 1: quarter of the plate and it's got extra potatoes mashed
- 58:45Speaker 1: down and shred and his hanging over the side. Really really,
- 58:50Speaker 1: he won't waffle house hash brown chump covered, diced and sliced.
- 58:58Speaker 1: He had that, Yeah, that's what he liked. Now, he
- 59:02Speaker 1: didn't mess around and tried since he didn't have no
- 59:05Speaker 1: luck with him, so he didn't win and got the
- 59:07Speaker 1: little tator tip. You're five three with a tiny frame.
- 59:12Speaker 1: Everything is proportioned, buddy, making you feel like you ain't
- 59:16Speaker 1: thinking enough. His ex wife is still a big part
- 59:18Speaker 1: of his life that grew up together. She's very close
- 59:21Speaker 1: to his mama too. We'll be having dinner at his
- 59:24Speaker 1: mama's house and ex wife would just pop up to
- 59:26Speaker 1: say hello, really hello. She said that the first it
- 59:31Speaker 1: was fine. Way wait wait, wait, wait wait, how is
- 59:34Speaker 1: it that she pops over there every time y'all at
- 59:37Speaker 1: dinner to the point where you were saying, first it
- 59:39Speaker 1: was fine. Either he's saying I'm gonna be at mama's
- 59:43Speaker 1: house or the mama going here go your chance? Yeah
- 59:49Speaker 1: him she coming over here with Stanley, here's your chance?
- 59:56Speaker 1: Where something tight? Girl? Get him back? You know? It
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: was always my favorite. Hold that thought, Steve, Yeah, hold
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: that thought. We'll have Steve's response coming up in twenty
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: three minutes after the hour, Part two Today's Strawberry Letter
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: subject what does she have that I don't? We'll get
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: back into it right after this. You're listening to the
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. Come on, Steve Let's recap Today's
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: Strawberry letter. The subject is what does she have that
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: I don't? Well, the question I'm asking the whole letter
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: is what does she have that you don't? And I'm
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: gonna read it to you in the letter. His first
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: wife was a big girl. The woman he dated after
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: divorce was stick to You are five three with a
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: tiny frame. Your nickname is little big and tiny tot.
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: Tiny tot is a derivative of tater tot. Tater tot
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: is a derivative of hash brown potatoes. Now, when you
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: go to tennis, it come out it looked like a pancake,
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: is mashed down and ready potatoes. But to have hens
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: that hang over the plate. If you go to waffle
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: House and you get the hash browns, you get them
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: chunk smother, diced and sliced. Lord, you can't do that
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: with a tator talk. So, now, what does she have
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: that I don't? Size? Now? What else don she have?
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: His ex wife is still a big part of his life.
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: They grew up together. She's very close to his mother too.
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: We could be having dinner at his mother's house and
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: the ex will just pop up and say hello. Every
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: time you over there having dinner. The eggs pop up
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: now either he's telling them he going over mama's house. Oh,
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: mama going. You need to get over him. Stand they're
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: coming with her wear something tight? So what else does
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: she have that you don't a close relationship with the mother? Yeah,
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: but now this is calling you the anxiety because you
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: think your husband is secretly having enough fab with her,
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: because you overheard his cousin talking about his ex wife
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: controlling and lazy. Then my husband said that was something
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: that always kept him coming back to her for years.
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: What is that that kept him coming back? You asked?
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: She asked in the middle. What is that that kept
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: him coming back? What does she have that I don't?
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: Whoa little girl? Little girl look good, she's she's his wife.
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: She has throwing pop, mean, she has thrown She has
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: enough stuff where she can throw it. See the little
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: girl five three tiny friends. You ain't got nothing to throw.
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: She's a dancer. She can't throw it though, throw what
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: her hips? What everything? Oh, she can slake it when
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: it landed, make noise throwing all that's happened. What does
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: she have that I don't? The ability to make noise? Yeah?
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: I want to create a dance studio, and I'm a
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: home health nurse part time. Right there there, gonna something elk.
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: He don't want nobody dancing, He don't care about that,
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: and he don't need no at home health nurs He's sick.
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: She got skis. When we got married. He told me
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: he could support me leaving nursing altogether so I can
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: focus on my dancer. That ain't happen. Instead, he paid
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: off the car that he bought his ex wife for
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: that desert. He said the older that that's right. He
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: gotta keep heart happy because she kept him happy. She
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: was overpowering and lazy, but she was throwing in I
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: take great care of my man. That sex used to
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: be great between us. Now he rashes it out to
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: me because he don't want to hurt you. Oh really,
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: you don't want to hurt you. He has told me
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: I need a little more cushion for the pushing. I'm
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: sure that means that my booty's too small for him.
- 1:04:15Speaker 1: That Crowley is true. Man's just right for somebody, but
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: it is too small for him. But what he'd been
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: used to doing is bigger thing. See you kind of
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: like you you at Bay. See you at bigger key.
- 1:04:33Speaker 1: He like a double whapple? That what he a whopper?
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: Junior is on sale for a nas double whapple and
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: fold dollar. Yeah, but he's standing there looking at that
- 1:04:48Speaker 1: me and that double whopper. He don't give a damnage
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: his fold doll. He don't give a damnage. He's got
- 1:04:52Speaker 1: to pay for his call. It's a double whopper because

- 1:09:57Speaker 1: question on Facebook right after this you're listening show well, Steve.
- 1:10:06Speaker 1: This is a Facebook question from LG in Tennessee. LG says,
- 1:10:11Speaker 1: I'm twenty two and my girlfriend is twenty five. She
- 1:10:14Speaker 1: just had our first child, and she is a great woman.
- 1:10:18Speaker 1: She is so great that we've never ever had an argument.
- 1:10:22Speaker 1: She's so great that she deserves a man that's one
- 1:10:26Speaker 1: hundred times better than me because I am not in
- 1:10:29Speaker 1: love with her at all. I'm in love with my
- 1:10:33Speaker 1: best friend, and when I see her, I feel like Superman.
- 1:10:36Speaker 1: I'm very young and I'm not ready to settle down,
- 1:10:40Speaker 1: but I was raised to man up to my responsibilities.
- 1:10:43Speaker 1: What do I do? First of all, you, LG, you
- 1:10:48Speaker 1: have to be honest. If you're not in love with
- 1:10:49Speaker 1: this girl and she deserves better, you should let him
- 1:10:52Speaker 1: know that. Now are you going to do that? Nope?
- 1:10:55Speaker 1: Why because you're not. You're not a brave person. One
- 1:11:00Speaker 1: more other thing, I'm in love with my best friend.
- 1:11:06Speaker 1: I've told John about these male and female relationships, These friendships.
- 1:11:12Speaker 1: I don't know how many times I have to say it,
- 1:11:15Speaker 1: but they come on here and eventually it leaks out. Now,
- 1:11:18Speaker 1: it's wonderful woman that you have, that you have a
- 1:11:21Speaker 1: baby with it. You never had an argument. She deserves better.
- 1:11:26Speaker 1: It's a sad situation. Man, She's gotten herself in this
- 1:11:28Speaker 1: predicament with you. But you ain't ready, you know. But
- 1:11:32Speaker 1: I've been in that position before, young man. I've been
- 1:11:35Speaker 1: not ready, and I moved forward not ready. There was
- 1:11:37Speaker 1: a mistake I shouldn't have did it. I messed up
- 1:11:41Speaker 1: a lot of people alone the way. So if I
- 1:11:45Speaker 1: were you, I would just say I'm not ready. But
- 1:11:50Speaker 1: it's you've already produced a child. Yeah, and now guess what,
- 1:11:55Speaker 1: You're gonna bounce on her because you ain't in love
- 1:11:59Speaker 1: with her at all. You're gonna bounce on it because
- 1:12:02Speaker 1: your heart is with another woman who you've been lying
- 1:12:05Speaker 1: to to telling her y'all just friends. See how this work? Man,
- 1:12:10Speaker 1: You do a lot of line. But he did say
- 1:12:13Speaker 1: that he was raised to men up to his responsibilities.
- 1:12:16Speaker 1: He did say that, okay, Shirley, he's fitting to bounce
- 1:12:19Speaker 1: on this girl and fit to leave her and the child.
- 1:12:22Speaker 1: Now he gonna pay child support. Okay, okay, and he
- 1:12:26Speaker 1: might be a great dad, which I hopefully he will be. Yeah,
- 1:12:29Speaker 1: but he's not gonna be with this girl. No. I
- 1:12:32Speaker 1: agree with you on that. She's got to discover this
- 1:12:35Speaker 1: and be upset. Now, y'all never had an argument before,
- 1:12:39Speaker 1: but prepare yourself. So now, dog, since you all of
- 1:12:43Speaker 1: that or upbringing all that good, you got to going
- 1:12:46Speaker 1: there with the truth. That's what late for the truth.
- 1:12:49Speaker 1: I'm pretty sure if you would have told her this
- 1:12:51Speaker 1: truth before you gave her this baby, and before she
- 1:12:54Speaker 1: had this baby, she might have made a different decision.
- 1:12:57Speaker 1: But you didn't. You'd have told all along how you
- 1:13:01Speaker 1: felt about it. That's how you got in the underwear
- 1:13:03Speaker 1: in the beginning. That's how you did it. You told
- 1:13:06Speaker 1: her what she wanted to hear. Let's stop the lives fellas.
- 1:13:08Speaker 1: That's what we do. We tell you what you want
- 1:13:11Speaker 1: to hear to get in your underwear. Now we're in
- 1:13:13Speaker 1: the underwear, and the underwear the sprouted fruit. Now we
- 1:13:17Speaker 1: got baby coming. Yeah. Now, now what you're gonna do.
- 1:13:23Speaker 1: I was raised to be a man. Man. That's nice. YadA, YadA, YadA.
- 1:13:26Speaker 1: You're gonna lead this woman. She ain't gonna thank you
- 1:13:28Speaker 1: living up your responsibility when you go in there and
- 1:13:30Speaker 1: make that announcement, young man, So good luck. Man. I
- 1:13:33Speaker 1: don't want to tell you what I do know what
- 1:13:35Speaker 1: to tell you. You need to go in there and
- 1:13:37Speaker 1: tell her the truth, which she already knows. That argument
- 1:13:40Speaker 1: you've never had, you will finally have one. But then
- 1:13:43Speaker 1: you're gonna go and you're gonna find out that this
- 1:13:45Speaker 1: girl that's your best friend that really don't want you
- 1:13:47Speaker 1: at all. Wow, And now you're gonna be stuck like chunk.
- 1:13:53Speaker 1: And they're very young, twenty two and twenty five, very
- 1:13:56Speaker 1: young junior, just stupid at twenty two. Just sounds like me,
- 1:14:06Speaker 1: m M two. I was having unemployed ball at twenty two,
- 1:14:20Speaker 1: living my bed five no key, wil have a lot
- 1:14:29Speaker 1: of money, didn't need a lot of handlebody with me, man,
- 1:14:35Speaker 1: I didn't have nobody but me. M hm Okay. Coming
- 1:14:43Speaker 1: up in twenty minutes after the hour, we'll have more
- 1:14:45Speaker 1: of the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Right after this. You're
- 1:14:48Speaker 1: listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show. This is a story
- 1:14:54Speaker 1: about the lengths people will go to to be insta
- 1:14:56Speaker 1: famous or for clickbait on social media. It's just getting
- 1:15:01Speaker 1: weirder and weirder. A woman in Thailand has been arrested
- 1:15:07Speaker 1: after she filmed herself eating a bowl filled with broth, tomatoes,
- 1:15:13Speaker 1: and get this, multiple dead bats. In the viral video clip,
- 1:15:19Speaker 1: she picked up one of the dead animals and ripped
- 1:15:22Speaker 1: it before dipping the meat into the sauce. She told
- 1:15:26Speaker 1: viewers it was her first time eating a bat, and
- 1:15:29Speaker 1: she described it as quote delicious, comparing its texture to
- 1:15:35Speaker 1: raw meat. Authorities in Thailand arrested her for a possession
- 1:15:38Speaker 1: of protected wildlife carcasses and for violating the Computer Related
- 1:15:43Speaker 1: Crimes Act for uploading the clip. Oh my god, about
- 1:15:47Speaker 1: as disgusting. Yeah, she took a piece of the bat. Yeah,
- 1:15:54Speaker 1: took a piece of the bat, dipped it in the
- 1:15:56Speaker 1: tomatoes stuff and put in her straight to some good
- 1:16:04Speaker 1: ass bat. Yeah, I would even think of eating a bat.
- 1:16:10Speaker 1: Never heard that before. You know, they got back down.
- 1:16:14Speaker 1: Now that's my ass bat. It ain't on sale at
- 1:16:23Speaker 1: seven four dollars a pound. All right, We'll have more
- 1:16:29Speaker 1: of the Sea Harvey Morning Show coming up at thirty
- 1:16:31Speaker 1: three minutes after we'll play around. If would you rather
- 1:16:34Speaker 1: right after this you're listening Morning Show time for would
- 1:16:39Speaker 1: you rather, guys, would you rather sit in the middle
- 1:16:42Speaker 1: seat of a plane for five hours or would you
- 1:16:45Speaker 1: rather ride the megabus for eight hours? I think you're
- 1:16:55Speaker 1: going on the bus. You're going on the bus. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:16:58Speaker 1: I welcome down out talk here. He said, you want
- 1:17:06Speaker 1: to walk back to that seat. No, not that that No, no,
- 1:17:09Speaker 1: that seat, and see that at least that bus seat
- 1:17:12Speaker 1: go back a little bit that that middle seat. Don't
- 1:17:14Speaker 1: go back at all. It's different riding on the plane. Plate.
- 1:17:18Speaker 1: I want give me eight hours on that megabus. Many sandwiches. Man,
- 1:17:27Speaker 1: all I need is that seat next to me vacant.
- 1:17:29Speaker 1: I put my bags in it. Well, let'll tell you
- 1:17:37Speaker 1: something more when I get off that bus, show that
- 1:17:40Speaker 1: I'm have. That's what I said, man, talk my car
- 1:17:47Speaker 1: mobile one time and got on the bus, roll the
- 1:17:51Speaker 1: Florida and did what went on there? But you said
- 1:17:59Speaker 1: I was home? The hell you mean that? Or something? Yeah?
- 1:18:05Speaker 1: I rolled the bus to something to a date. But
- 1:18:11Speaker 1: but you go down that phone hand wom you just
- 1:18:15Speaker 1: got wanted to get out of your car? Okay, water
- 1:18:18Speaker 1: you know, walk around a little bit bathroom bus had

- 1:18:33Speaker 1: was first all the time. I got the front seat,
- 1:18:35Speaker 1: talk to the bob and put my bag next to me.
- 1:18:38Speaker 1: You know how people put their stuff under the bus.
- 1:18:40Speaker 1: I ain't never do that. I need all my stuff
- 1:18:41Speaker 1: right here. I can't hand nothing missing. When is the
- 1:18:45Speaker 1: movie coming out about your life? Story? Man? All right?
- 1:18:50Speaker 1: Would you rather wear your shoes on the wrong feet
- 1:18:53Speaker 1: or would you rather wear really tight underwear? Which one shoe?
- 1:18:58Speaker 1: Shoes with them tight draws on? I had them all before,
- 1:19:07Speaker 1: and we're going over girl house one night, Boston Leopard
- 1:19:10Speaker 1: bikini underwear. Yeah, something for her. Cop broke down on
- 1:19:15Speaker 1: the way. I had to push my calm inside of
- 1:19:17Speaker 1: the row about that. For six hours, I never made
- 1:19:20Speaker 1: to the house. I took them draws off. I had
- 1:19:23Speaker 1: cuts all between my leg and then I had died
- 1:19:31Speaker 1: for rash so tight and got wet. All right, enough
- 1:19:39Speaker 1: of that, Steve coming up. It's the last break of
- 1:19:41Speaker 1: the day, and of course we'll come come back to
- 1:19:43Speaker 1: close out the show with our closing remarks. Right after this,
- 1:19:47Speaker 1: you're listening to the Steve Morning Show. All right, guys,
- 1:19:51Speaker 1: here we are our last break of the day, and Steve,
- 1:19:55Speaker 1: before you get to your closing, I gotta say, uh,
- 1:19:58Speaker 1: I want to thank that Stephen Marjorie Harvey Foundation for
- 1:20:01Speaker 1: having me as a guest speaker at yesterday Single Mother's
- 1:20:05Speaker 1: Enrichment Summit. It was really good put on by your
- 1:20:08Speaker 1: executive director Sharon Page. Uh. A lot of single moms
- 1:20:12Speaker 1: came out. We did a lot of sharing, a lot
- 1:20:14Speaker 1: of uh, just transparency, you know, people telling their stories
- 1:20:18Speaker 1: and everything. Great, great event. Uh good for the moms
- 1:20:22Speaker 1: to uh. These are moms of some of the boys
- 1:20:25Speaker 1: that you mentor Steve and m really great event. Um,
- 1:20:30Speaker 1: you gotta say that, uh huh what you what? You what? What?
- 1:20:34Speaker 1: What do you say? Shore? Excuse me? What did you say?
- 1:20:41Speaker 1: That's better? What you said? What you say? I said
- 1:20:46Speaker 1: a lot of things. I told how I got into radio,
- 1:20:49Speaker 1: a lot of stuff like that, what it's like working
- 1:20:51Speaker 1: on the show, you know, my experience being a single mom,
- 1:20:55Speaker 1: being raised by a single mom, stuff like that. But um, okay,
- 1:21:01Speaker 1: but but Steve, your executive director, Sharon Page, I just
- 1:21:05Speaker 1: want to let you know, in case you haven't heard yet,
- 1:21:08Speaker 1: gave away a lot of your money. Yeah, I got
- 1:21:11Speaker 1: the phone call from you. Got it already. Every time
- 1:21:15Speaker 1: she said she was giving somebody some money, she looked
- 1:21:18Speaker 1: over there at me. Oh yeah, I'm telling you know.
- 1:21:20Speaker 1: I'm gonna tell it was fun though. We had a
- 1:21:22Speaker 1: great time and it was for a good cause too,
- 1:21:25Speaker 1: for good causes, of course, Thank you very much. Hey,
- 1:21:29Speaker 1: these are my closing remarks today. I want to talk
- 1:21:31Speaker 1: to people who live at Georgia now because we have
- 1:21:35Speaker 1: a runoff coming up between herschel Walker and Senator Raphael Warnock.
- 1:21:41Speaker 1: I mean, for us, the decision is quite clear, but
- 1:21:46Speaker 1: we have it's more to it than this. You all,
- 1:21:49Speaker 1: I want you all to be aware of what they're
- 1:21:51Speaker 1: actually doing. Lindsey Graham made it perfectly clear when he
- 1:21:56Speaker 1: came to the aid of herschel Walker to talk about
- 1:21:59Speaker 1: why he's good for black conservatism in this country and
- 1:22:03Speaker 1: how many more black people he will lead to the
- 1:22:06Speaker 1: Conservative Party if he is elected, and we would stop
- 1:22:09Speaker 1: degrading him. Lindsey Graham has never ever cared anything about
- 1:22:19Speaker 1: any of our causes, wants, our needs. But if you
- 1:22:24Speaker 1: listen to his interview very carefully, again, he didn't even
- 1:22:30Speaker 1: realize it, but it wasn't about us anymore. It was
- 1:22:33Speaker 1: about him, his agenda and the conservative movement. The thing
- 1:22:38Speaker 1: that's shocking to me is they go and they pick
- 1:22:40Speaker 1: a herschel Walker to carry the mantra across the Finnish
- 1:22:45Speaker 1: line for them, to carry the banner of conservatism across
- 1:22:49Speaker 1: the Finnish line for them, and they use him because
- 1:22:52Speaker 1: they did two tricky things. First of all, they tried
- 1:22:55Speaker 1: to confuse the black voter by putting another black person
- 1:22:59Speaker 1: against an other black person. The problem you did was
- 1:23:03Speaker 1: you put a qualified black person up against an unqualified
- 1:23:07Speaker 1: black person, so you wouldn't got the unqualified, uneducated candidate
- 1:23:13Speaker 1: and put him up against the educated, qualified candidate. And
- 1:23:17Speaker 1: you thought that would be enough to trip us up.
- 1:23:21Speaker 1: What it didn't. Now, what it did do was it
- 1:23:25Speaker 1: served the purpose of your rule voters, because they see
- 1:23:29Speaker 1: nothing wrong with it, as long as they got him
- 1:23:33Speaker 1: doing our bid. They find with all the words he mispronounces,
- 1:23:37Speaker 1: they're fine with all the disconnected statements he makes. They
- 1:23:41Speaker 1: find with him having abortions, they find with him beating
- 1:23:45Speaker 1: his wife, they find with him not taking care of
- 1:23:48Speaker 1: his children. They cool with all that because that's what
- 1:23:52Speaker 1: they think of us, anyway. So that's why you really
- 1:23:55Speaker 1: wouldn't got a herschel Walker because you could control his mouth. Well,
- 1:23:59Speaker 1: what you can control is to vote in Georgia. And
- 1:24:02Speaker 1: we're gonna surprise you now because somebody pointed out to
- 1:24:06Speaker 1: me that we wouldn't even be we would not even
- 1:24:08Speaker 1: be shocked if you didn't pay the liberal candidate that
- 1:24:12Speaker 1: went into the office and got those votes. So you
- 1:24:15Speaker 1: can create a closeness and a divisiveness in the party.
- 1:24:19Speaker 1: Somebody pointed that out to me. I think you're slick
- 1:24:22Speaker 1: enough to do that. But now you have the runoff
- 1:24:26Speaker 1: and Lindsey Graham was imploring everybody to give to his
- 1:24:30Speaker 1: fund to help him out. Man. It ain't to help
- 1:24:34Speaker 1: him out, is to help them out. Y'all. We have
- 1:24:38Speaker 1: got to go. All of those who voted gonna have
- 1:24:42Speaker 1: to go vote again, and everybody that set it out,
- 1:24:45Speaker 1: I want you to jump in. I want you to
- 1:24:47Speaker 1: stop this madness right here. You are not going to
- 1:24:51Speaker 1: turn the state of Georgia back red with this candidate
- 1:24:56Speaker 1: that you wouldn't dug out of Texas to bring over
- 1:24:59Speaker 1: here to create confusion. Y'all. Come on, man, are you
- 1:25:03Speaker 1: kidding me? This is embarrassing. This is first of all,
- 1:25:07Speaker 1: it's embarrassing that we even have to do a runoff
- 1:25:09Speaker 1: because when you look into two candidates, it don't make
- 1:25:12Speaker 1: no sense. But let me just say this to all
- 1:25:15Speaker 1: the non people of color who are voting, are you
- 1:25:18Speaker 1: serious too? So? Really, man, you think that herschel Walker
- 1:25:23Speaker 1: is a better candidate than Raphael want to that's what
- 1:25:27Speaker 1: you think. A lot of herschel Walker's success is because
- 1:25:32Speaker 1: of white votes, a lot of them. And I'm not
- 1:25:35Speaker 1: gonna let y'all dump this one off on us, because
- 1:25:38Speaker 1: the exit polls showed that black men went to the
- 1:25:41Speaker 1: polls in record numbers this time. All the exit polls
- 1:25:45Speaker 1: show that. So I want to congratulate my brothers for
- 1:25:47Speaker 1: going to the polls and thank you for answering the call.
- 1:25:51Speaker 1: But we got another problem right here. We got to
- 1:25:53Speaker 1: do it again. We got to do it again, and
- 1:25:57Speaker 1: we got to get more people who didn't vote this
- 1:26:00Speaker 1: time last time to vote this time. We must stop
- 1:26:04Speaker 1: this ridiculous movement for herschel Walker, go to the polls,
- 1:26:09Speaker 1: take everybody with you this time. Senator Raphael Warnock to
- 1:26:14Speaker 1: be governor, to be Senator for the State of Georgia.
- 1:26:18Speaker 1: This herschel Walker thing is rediculous. It really is. Man,
- 1:26:24Speaker 1: it's embarrassing. I want to cuss, but I can't. This
- 1:26:28Speaker 1: is embarrassing. Y'all. Have a great day, man, get your voting,
- 1:26:33Speaker 1: get your vote. Boots back over. We're going again for
