- 0:05Speaker 1: don't know. Y'all all suit the don giving them like
- 0:15Speaker 1: the milling bus things and it's good Steve listening together
- 0:27Speaker 1: for stuy. I don't joy. You gotta turn hur, you
- 1:24Speaker 1: gotta turn the turnout turn, got to turnmout to turn
- 1:46Speaker 1: the water to the water. Got me come come on
- 1:59Speaker 1: your back now, I sure will a good morning everybody.
- 2:05Speaker 1: You're listening to the voice, come on dig me now.
- 2:07Speaker 1: One and only Steve Harvey got a radio show. Oh man,
- 2:12Speaker 1: Steve Harvey got a radio show because God. Because God
- 2:16Speaker 1: is simply amazing, because God is off the chain, because
- 2:20Speaker 1: God is over the top, because God is all that
- 2:23Speaker 1: in a bag of chips. God is amazing man. God
- 2:27Speaker 1: will take you places that you never ever thought you
- 2:31Speaker 1: would go. Oh you know what? It Sometimes it amazes
- 2:34Speaker 1: me when I'm watching all people talk about themselves and
- 2:38Speaker 1: their careers and where they're adding life and things and
- 2:41Speaker 1: they and I hear people say, you know, always dreamed
- 2:45Speaker 1: of being him. You know, I can understand when a
- 2:48Speaker 1: person says that I've always dreamed that of something like
- 2:52Speaker 1: this would happen to me. But I want you to
- 2:54Speaker 1: think about that for a second. Did you really see
- 2:59Speaker 1: it just like that though? Did you really really see
- 3:04Speaker 1: it just like that? Did you really know that God
- 3:10Speaker 1: was gonna bring you through all he bought you through
- 3:13Speaker 1: to get you to this place? Did you know that,
- 3:17Speaker 1: in spite of the losses along the way that would
- 3:19Speaker 1: crumble the average person, that somehow He kept you through
- 3:23Speaker 1: it all and that's how you got here? Did you
- 3:28Speaker 1: think of you know? I mean, you know, you know.
- 3:30Speaker 1: I mean, since you're so busy talking about yourself now,
- 3:34Speaker 1: have you forgotten all the times He was bringing you
- 3:38Speaker 1: through when you didn't see no way that you was
- 3:41Speaker 1: gonna get through? Do you remember that? So when you
- 3:44Speaker 1: sit there and you say, I dreamed of this, this
- 3:48Speaker 1: is what I always saw happening, I don't really think. So,
- 3:52Speaker 1: I don't really think. If you take inventory, or real
- 3:55Speaker 1: close inventory of your life and you look back on
- 3:59Speaker 1: it at all, stop looking at the moment right now,
- 4:01Speaker 1: remember where you come from. See, that's what gets me
- 4:04Speaker 1: emotional sometimes, that's what makes me tear up, because when
- 4:07Speaker 1: something is happening to me in the moment, it ain't
- 4:11Speaker 1: the moment for me, it's the memory of how I
- 4:15Speaker 1: got there. It's the recollection of all the things, all
- 4:19Speaker 1: the nights, all the days in that car, all the
- 4:23Speaker 1: times by myself when I felt like I wasn't gonna
- 4:27Speaker 1: make it. But somehow I'm standing somewhere and somebody passing
- 4:30Speaker 1: out on the ward to me or somebody calling my name,
- 4:33Speaker 1: that's that. Did you really think you was gonna make it? Then?
- 4:38Speaker 1: So so so, since you're talking about this is what
- 4:40Speaker 1: I always dreamed of? Did you really think in those
- 4:43Speaker 1: moments right there that you would even be standing here today?
- 4:47Speaker 1: That's why I try to I try to give people
- 4:48Speaker 1: to understand, you know, and and and and this is
- 4:51Speaker 1: kind of for young people today what I'm about to say.
- 4:54Speaker 1: But then guess what I sometimes I have to remind
- 4:57Speaker 1: myself of it. So I guess it's still kind of
- 4:59Speaker 1: for everybody, you know, because I work with a lot
- 5:02Speaker 1: of young people, and and so many times, man, young
- 5:05Speaker 1: people just don't understand what all it takes. And I know,
- 5:11Speaker 1: and if you're a full grown a dot, if you're forty,
- 5:14Speaker 1: you you really understanding where I'm coming from, because you
- 5:17Speaker 1: know it's listen to me, young people or anybody that
- 5:23Speaker 1: don't understand this, that you got to do some things
- 5:26Speaker 1: that you don't want to do. In order to do
- 5:30Speaker 1: what you want to do, you have to understand this
- 5:34Speaker 1: principle of success or else you are not going to
- 5:37Speaker 1: become successful. I got what you want to do. I
- 5:41Speaker 1: got your ultimate goal? Is this, that, and the other?
- 5:44Speaker 1: I got all of that. But in the meantime, though,
- 5:48Speaker 1: there are some necessary steps that you have to take
- 5:51Speaker 1: in order to become successful, and you cannot skip these steps.
- 5:56Speaker 1: You can't jump over these steps just because you want
- 5:58Speaker 1: to be rich, Friday, I got that. I got that.
- 6:02Speaker 1: Everybody got that. But if you want this, whatever you're
- 6:06Speaker 1: talking about, whether it's money or success or fame or
- 6:10Speaker 1: climbing the corporate letter or this is the position or
- 6:12Speaker 1: you all, that's fine, and Danny, please hold on to
- 6:16Speaker 1: your dreams. Dreams come true. But in the meantime, let
- 6:22Speaker 1: me remind you of something that you gotta do some
- 6:25Speaker 1: things you don't want to do in order to do
- 6:29Speaker 1: what you want to do. Let's say you want to
- 6:31Speaker 1: be rich and famous. Let's just say that's it for you.
- 6:34Speaker 1: Let's sit there. It's a lot of other ways of
- 6:36Speaker 1: being successful. Please don't think that's the only one. But
- 6:38Speaker 1: I'm just saying, let's just say, yours is rich and famous,
- 6:42Speaker 1: and let's say some miraculous way God made you rich
- 6:45Speaker 1: and famous. Next Friday, you rich and you famous? Next Friday,
- 6:52Speaker 1: can I share something with you? This is not going
- 6:55Speaker 1: to last for you. You know why because you have
- 6:58Speaker 1: not done the things necessary. You have not done the
- 7:03Speaker 1: things that you have to do in order to do
- 7:07Speaker 1: the things you want. So now you're rich and famous,
- 7:10Speaker 1: How you gonna know how to budget money? How are
- 7:14Speaker 1: you gonna know how to get up and keep clawing
- 7:17Speaker 1: towards the top when you fall off your pedestal? See,
- 7:21Speaker 1: it's so many things you got to know about something,
- 7:24Speaker 1: and you think, because it's what you want right now,
- 7:27Speaker 1: it's supposed to happen just now. It's a process when
- 7:29Speaker 1: you ask God for something. Please know God know the process.
- 7:34Speaker 1: He knows the necessary steps to take you through. Don't
- 7:37Speaker 1: lose your patience with God because your dreams ain't coming
- 7:40Speaker 1: true right now? Man? You know you know I think
- 7:46Speaker 1: the best way y'all is for me. I just use
- 7:48Speaker 1: myself as an example. I really do understand why God
- 7:51Speaker 1: has given me the life he's giving me so far.
- 7:54Speaker 1: I understand it being a homeless part. Now I get
- 7:57Speaker 1: to not being successful when I want it? Who part? Now,
- 8:00Speaker 1: I get it. I got the delayed entry into the
- 8:04Speaker 1: field of choice for myself. I got it now. I've
- 8:07Speaker 1: been wanting to be on TV and a little comedian
- 8:09Speaker 1: since I was nine years old. But guess what, I
- 8:12Speaker 1: didn't get there until I was twenty eight. But see
- 8:15Speaker 1: I didn't get it. Then I was mad at God.
- 8:18Speaker 1: You know what I won't I send them here here.
- 8:20Speaker 1: I got exactly what you want. But I got this process.
- 8:23Speaker 1: I want you to go through to get here too,
- 8:25Speaker 1: because see, I'm fit to take you somewhere. You don't
- 8:27Speaker 1: know nothing, but one day you're gonna have a radio
- 8:29Speaker 1: show with You're a little stupid behind. You don't know
- 8:31Speaker 1: this yet. I'm gonna bless you with a radio show.
- 8:34Speaker 1: You don't even know it. That's why I say every morning,
- 8:36Speaker 1: Steven Harvey got a radio show because see I didn't.
- 8:39Speaker 1: I didn't see this one coming. But see God had
- 8:41Speaker 1: a plan for me. It was in the blueprint of
- 8:43Speaker 1: my life. So God said, what I'm gonna do is,
- 8:46Speaker 1: I'm gonna make your life a little rough for you.
- 8:48Speaker 1: I'm gonna toss you up a little bit. I'm I'm
- 8:52Speaker 1: gonna let you make some of these stupid decisions you
- 8:54Speaker 1: wanna make it, I'm gonna make you learn from them.
- 8:56Speaker 1: I'm I'm gonna let you be homeless for a little while.
- 9:00Speaker 1: I'm gonna let you not get into your field of
- 9:02Speaker 1: choice until you're twenty eight. I'm gonna have people talking
- 9:05Speaker 1: about if we had only seen him when he was younger.
- 9:07Speaker 1: I ain't gonna let you get your first can your
- 9:09Speaker 1: name till your thirty eight. I'm gonna make you go
- 9:12Speaker 1: through some things because one day I'm gonna put a
- 9:15Speaker 1: microphone in front of your mouth, and I want you
- 9:17Speaker 1: to honor me. I want you to talk about me.
- 9:20Speaker 1: I want you to tell people what I bought you through.
- 9:22Speaker 1: I want you to give people inspirational moments where they
- 9:25Speaker 1: can see that your life was jacked up for a
- 9:27Speaker 1: minute and I turned your life around for you. That's
- 9:31Speaker 1: God dealing with me. See. So now I finally understand
- 9:35Speaker 1: why I went through the life I went through, so
- 9:37Speaker 1: I can have something to say. See, I ain't over
- 9:40Speaker 1: here telling you about what I think are happened. I'm
- 9:43Speaker 1: telling you what I know can happen. That God does
- 9:46Speaker 1: make dreams come true, but sometime it take a minute.
- 9:49Speaker 1: Sometimes you're gonna have to do some things you don't
- 9:52Speaker 1: want to do in order to do what you want
- 9:54Speaker 1: to do. All right, all that you, I'm gonna be
- 9:56Speaker 1: tripping a day. You're listening people running show, Ladies and gentlemen,
- 10:03Speaker 1: Welcome to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. I call this

- 11:33Speaker 1: junior boy. I learned so much about the Semis music man.
- 11:39Speaker 1: Keep junior, or you missed it, you missed a good Yeah,
- 11:44Speaker 1: King of Prank's nephew, Tommy. Yeah, I'm in the building
- 11:48Speaker 1: top top. It's Friday, right week night. Shouldn't a hat yourself?
- 11:58Speaker 1: You didn't, Ahold sang it through my songs. Oh, I
- 12:06Speaker 1: didn't think you need to in troll. Hold it on this, gentleman,
- 12:14Speaker 1: said Brian, holding on living in here with you with
- 12:18Speaker 1: COVID holding on, I'm just holding on you and COVID?
- 12:23Speaker 1: Who who When COVID came into this relationship? Oh, father, God, Sather, God.
- 12:32Speaker 1: See this is how no COVID is real. Because I
- 12:35Speaker 1: was thinking about going somewhere next week, writing to play
- 12:37Speaker 1: some golf social distance on the golf course, you know. Oh,
- 12:44Speaker 1: a young guy that works for me, not gonna mention
- 12:47Speaker 1: who it is, Yeah, dates a woman who lives in
- 12:52Speaker 1: the same city with him. And so I was talking
- 12:55Speaker 1: about the trip with my attorney today and he overheard
- 12:58Speaker 1: it and he said, mister Harvey, Uh, is this a
- 13:03Speaker 1: business trip? I said, yeah, I'm gonna take care of
- 13:05Speaker 1: some business. Oh, well, can I go? I said, you don't.
- 13:09Speaker 1: You don't play golf? He said, yeah, but I've been
- 13:12Speaker 1: quarantined for five months with my girlfriend. I said, what
- 13:18Speaker 1: did you do anything? What's that got to do with me?
- 13:21Speaker 1: I just wondering if you need me out there for anything?
- 13:28Speaker 1: Hop is real girl? All right? Steve coming up thirty
- 13:36Speaker 1: two minutes after the hour, asked the clo the cloth
- 13:39Speaker 1: Chief Love Officer Steve Harvey in the building right after this.
- 13:43Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steven Show all right. Time now
- 13:48Speaker 1: for ask the clo the Chief Love Officer, Steve Harvey.
- 13:51Speaker 1: Are you ready, sir? I think so. This one is
- 13:58Speaker 1: from Dante and West Home Beach, Florida, He says. My
- 14:01Speaker 1: wife and I are thirty four years old and we've
- 14:04Speaker 1: been married for two years. We recently bought a house
- 14:07Speaker 1: in the suburbs, and my wife says she loves the home,
- 14:10Speaker 1: but not the location. Her sister lives downtown, close to
- 14:13Speaker 1: all of the great shops and restaurants, so she spends
- 14:16Speaker 1: a lot of time at her sister's place. She asked
- 14:19Speaker 1: me if we could rent a studio apartment downtown so
- 14:23Speaker 1: she can spend weekends there when she wants to hang out.
- 14:27Speaker 1: I'm totally against that. Is this my wife's way of
- 14:30Speaker 1: telling me that she's not ready to be completely settled
- 14:33Speaker 1: in this marriage. Oh no, not exactly, man, It's just
- 14:37Speaker 1: I think it is what it is. You know, see
- 14:39Speaker 1: a lot of times, man, you know, you're young. You
- 14:43Speaker 1: make a move, you know, you don't think it all
- 14:45Speaker 1: the way through buying the house. She probably does love
- 14:47Speaker 1: the house, but she looking at her sister, she does
- 14:50Speaker 1: is the grass is green on the other side, her
- 14:53Speaker 1: sister downtown shops is right there, all the Famili's restaurants.
- 14:57Speaker 1: Her sister making it look like girl just to play
- 15:01Speaker 1: down here. Her sister could be single. Her sister probably
- 15:09Speaker 1: wishes she had a man like you staying further out
- 15:12Speaker 1: in a nice ass house. But she got this apartment downtown,
- 15:16Speaker 1: and she's making it like it's just the latest and greatest.
- 15:18Speaker 1: But at her agent may be the latest and greatest.
- 15:21Speaker 1: So I don't think it's nothing about your wife wanting
- 15:23Speaker 1: to you know, tie to you, or nothing like that.
- 15:26Speaker 1: It's just she think it's more happening downtown. Then we
- 15:30Speaker 1: can spend the weekends down there. But see, that's gonna
- 15:33Speaker 1: cost some money. Now that studio parliment, that's gonna cost
- 15:36Speaker 1: some money. Yeah, I don't like it. That's a wastesome money,
- 15:39Speaker 1: you know. And both. I just want you to know
- 15:42Speaker 1: we all gonna be down that now. Oh sing to
- 15:47Speaker 1: be your spot, all right. You're gonna cafe and stuff
- 15:51Speaker 1: at this cigar lounge. We're gonna be part all right.
- 15:57Speaker 1: Julia and Trenton, New Jersey says I'm ay and divorced
- 16:01Speaker 1: and I'm enjoying the dating scene. My best friend is
- 16:03Speaker 1: female and she's newly divorced. We've been plutonic, platonic friends
- 16:08Speaker 1: for eight years, but she propositioned me for sex recently.
- 16:12Speaker 1: She said she's not ready to start dating anyone yet,
- 16:15Speaker 1: but she needs sex regularly, so she suggested that we
- 16:19Speaker 1: have sex whenever she needs to. I'm all for having
- 16:22Speaker 1: sex with no strings attached, but I think she'll get
- 16:25Speaker 1: caught up and want more from me. She's not someone
- 16:28Speaker 1: i'd date, but I do love her as a friend.
- 16:32Speaker 1: Do you think it's too risky to enter into this
- 16:34Speaker 1: sexual arrangement with her? It atr problem now, But it's
- 16:43Speaker 1: gonna be your problem, because it's gonna be a problem Tommy.
- 16:51Speaker 1: But he just said she's no one he would dated,
- 16:55Speaker 1: so obviously there's something to this. So now you know,
- 17:00Speaker 1: if you think it's gonna stay plutonic go ahead, but
- 17:03Speaker 1: I got news for you. Trouble coming. Now. You can
- 17:06Speaker 1: listen to these two foods on the show, But the
- 17:09Speaker 1: trouble is coming. We know what's wrong. Probably ain't as
- 17:15Speaker 1: fly as he would like her to be. Probably not
- 17:18Speaker 1: nobody I date, Well, what the hell, let's say trouble.
- 17:23Speaker 1: Don't lands always don't they say that? Yeah, they do
- 17:25Speaker 1: say that. But but the problem with trouble is it
- 17:29Speaker 1: costs you more than you want to pay and make
- 17:30Speaker 1: you stay longer than you want to stay. That's the
- 17:33Speaker 1: only problem with trouble. That you can listen to this
- 17:36Speaker 1: food over here, had been married eight times. Application you
- 17:43Speaker 1: got the job. The job is yours. You've been hired.
- 17:47Speaker 1: Start working now, he bit up? But why is he
- 17:54Speaker 1: on zoom like Tommy and Jake's right? All right, um,
- 18:00Speaker 1: we're moving on. So the answer, as stevens, no, it's
- 18:04Speaker 1: a bit risky. You don't know. I don't say no. Oh,
- 18:09Speaker 1: I didn't say no. Oh no no, no, no no no.
- 18:13Speaker 1: I can't say no. But do I think it's gonna
- 18:16Speaker 1: be a problem. Absolutely? Oh. I thought you said no too. No,
- 18:21Speaker 1: I really I ain't saying no. Don't You're basically you're
- 18:26Speaker 1: agreeing with Jay and no, listen to No, it's a
- 18:28Speaker 1: service contract, but I want you to understand you're gonna
- 18:31Speaker 1: pay for that contract. Partner. Okay, do you think it's
- 18:35Speaker 1: too risky to enter into this sexual arrangement. It ain't
- 18:38Speaker 1: too risky. It's risky. So he knows something, you're saying.
- 18:44Speaker 1: He knows she's crazy. Surely you're saying yes, but there
- 18:48Speaker 1: are consequences, That's all I'm saying. He gonna do it.
- 18:51Speaker 1: He's said he gonna do it, but we know it's
- 18:53Speaker 1: gonna be ignorant at the end. Right, but he gonna
- 18:56Speaker 1: do it anyway. Look, you ain't got to the man.
- 19:02Speaker 1: He did not think she was ugly? Jobby. Wait, more
- 19:09Speaker 1: so that's too risky. Don't do it? All right? He's
- 19:13Speaker 1: been friends for eight years. Uh huh, ain't even thought
- 19:17Speaker 1: and he hasn't thought about it yet. Looked different, all right,
- 19:23Speaker 1: Sarah and iHeartRadio app listener. This is from her. She says,
- 19:27Speaker 1: I'm twenty eight years old. I'm a single female. I've
- 19:29Speaker 1: been in a long distance relationship for a few months.
- 19:34Speaker 1: The guy is a policeman and he works at night.
- 19:38Speaker 1: Uh so we only talk in the evening when he's
- 19:41Speaker 1: at work. His shift ends at seven am, so he
- 19:44Speaker 1: sleeps all day. He has been to see me twice,
- 19:48Speaker 1: but he didn't spend the night on either visit. He
- 19:52Speaker 1: drove three hours to eat lunch, have sex, and leave.
- 19:55Speaker 1: He's my co worker's cousin and she won't give me
- 19:57Speaker 1: any personal info about him. How can I find doubt
- 20:00Speaker 1: if he's married or sing someone else? Wait a minute,
- 20:04Speaker 1: ain't that what you're feeling? Exactly? Drive three hours, half
- 20:09Speaker 1: sex and go back talk to you only when he
- 20:11Speaker 1: owns shield. He sleeps all damn day and when he
- 20:17Speaker 1: comes see you, he drove and he had sex and
- 20:20Speaker 1: couldn't spend a night, drive three hours back home. I
- 20:25Speaker 1: got brought her name being Sarah at point, Hey, I
- 20:27Speaker 1: didn't notice deal here, Sarah. If you feel like leaving,
- 20:35Speaker 1: so you're saying you know you can saying he's married?
- 20:39Speaker 1: All right, Thank you, Ciella. We get it. Coming up next,
- 20:42Speaker 1: the nephew, some more ignorance in this show. Run that
- 20:47Speaker 1: prank back right after this you're listening. Coming up at
- 20:53Speaker 1: the top of the hour, Miss Anna is standing by
- 20:56Speaker 1: with today's national news. She'll give us an update on
- 20:58Speaker 1: both Joe Biden and President Trump's town hall meetings last night.
- 21:02Speaker 1: Also in entertainment news, we knew this, we knew this, right,
- 21:05Speaker 1: CARDI ban Offset are back together and we'll discuss. Yeah, yeah,
- 21:10Speaker 1: we'll discuss. We'll discuss getting back with your X at
- 21:15Speaker 1: the top of the hour. Okay, right now, nephew Tommy
- 21:19Speaker 1: is here with run that back prank back for it today.
- 21:22Speaker 1: What's you got for us? And as I got corporal punishment,
- 21:25Speaker 1: corporal punishment, I'm ready to go out popping that ass
- 21:29Speaker 1: in the school. Let's take it on back. Let's go
- 21:31Speaker 1: back in the school and ass. That's right. All y'all,
- 21:35Speaker 1: kids line up, that's right, not one at a time.
- 21:37Speaker 1: I canna get these squats. Let's go. Oh hello, hello, Hi,
- 21:44Speaker 1: I'm um trying to reach a mister Cotton, miss miss Gunton. Okay,
- 21:49Speaker 1: can you turn your radio or TV down? I can't
- 21:51Speaker 1: really hear you. Oh yeah sure. Um. My name is
- 21:54Speaker 1: mister Lanson. I'm actually the new principal here at middle school.
- 21:58Speaker 1: And well what's the name again? Uh mister Lanson? L okay,
- 22:02Speaker 1: you're you're a son he attends middle school here? Am
- 22:05Speaker 1: I correct? Yes? Sir? Okay, good listen. I'm the new
- 22:09Speaker 1: principle here, we've just replaced the last principle and I'm
- 22:13Speaker 1: actually calling around. What I've done is when I before
- 22:16Speaker 1: I got here, I asked for a list of students
- 22:19Speaker 1: that were you know, I'm not gonna say problem with kids,
- 22:21Speaker 1: but you know that kind of get themselves in a
- 22:24Speaker 1: little trouble here and there. And your son's name happens
- 22:26Speaker 1: to be on the list. That list. Yes, I got
- 22:30Speaker 1: about I got about thirty five kids that are actually
- 22:33Speaker 1: on this list, and your son is actually on the list.
- 22:38Speaker 1: And you are, mister Cotton, correct I am mister Cotton.
- 22:41Speaker 1: I mean are we are you show you speaking about
- 22:43Speaker 1: my son? Though, um, yeah, I mean there's only there's
- 22:46Speaker 1: only one on the list, sir. I'm it's it's it's
- 22:50Speaker 1: what's been given to me. And what what I'm doing
- 22:52Speaker 1: is calling around to all of the parents of the
- 22:54Speaker 1: kids that are on this list and letting you guys
- 22:57Speaker 1: know that I'm gonna be keeping a close eye on them,
- 23:00Speaker 1: as well as letting you know that I'm gonna be
- 23:03Speaker 1: reinstating corporal punishment here in the school. So so what's
- 23:08Speaker 1: that that's actually where if your son gets sent to
- 23:10Speaker 1: the office, which is my office, then there will be
- 23:13Speaker 1: paddling going on, and opposed to I don't believe in
- 23:16Speaker 1: I don't believe in detention. I don't believe in suspension.
- 23:19Speaker 1: I believe in you know, if we spank these kids,
- 23:22Speaker 1: we can get them back in order. So, sir, here's
- 23:27Speaker 1: my thing. I really truly believe that if we get
- 23:29Speaker 1: back to to you know, and I don't mean what
- 23:31Speaker 1: I'm about to say to be harsh, but if we're
- 23:33Speaker 1: getting back to beating, we'll get these kids back in order.
- 23:36Speaker 1: I mean, but I'm I know he had trouble in English,
- 23:39Speaker 1: but I don't think that called for beating. No, no, no, no,
- 23:44Speaker 1: This has nothing to do with great sir. This has
- 23:45Speaker 1: to do with punishment. And what I'm understanding is if
- 23:48Speaker 1: your son is on my list, and if your son
- 23:50Speaker 1: comes down to my office, I'm going to take care
- 23:53Speaker 1: of it right then and then. But if my son
- 23:55Speaker 1: come to your offer, you're gonna be on my damn list. Sir.
- 23:58Speaker 1: I'm trying to get these kids back in order. That's
- 24:01Speaker 1: the reason why I've been brought in and I've replaced
- 24:03Speaker 1: the last principle, you understand. So what I need from
- 24:06Speaker 1: you is to get to get a great understanding that
- 24:08Speaker 1: if your child comes to my office, corporal punishment will
- 24:11Speaker 1: be what he's going to deal with it. Okay, I'll
- 24:13Speaker 1: tell you what. Let my son come home and tell
- 24:16Speaker 1: me he got some damn corporal punishment, and the next
- 24:18Speaker 1: morning me and you're gonna do some corporal punishment. Sir,
- 24:21Speaker 1: do you want your child in order or do you
- 24:23Speaker 1: want to be billing his butt out of jail at
- 24:25Speaker 1: the age of eighteen. They're gonna be bailing me out
- 24:27Speaker 1: of jail if you put your damn hands on my son. Okay,
- 24:30Speaker 1: are you taking care of your son punishment wise? At home?
- 24:33Speaker 1: You need to my son don't get it. No damn trouble. Okay,
- 24:38Speaker 1: here's the problem, parents not believing that their children get
- 24:43Speaker 1: in any trouble. That's the first brother, I got email,
- 24:46Speaker 1: I got phone call. So the first phone call I
- 24:49Speaker 1: get this gonna straight down clip It ain't no letters,
- 24:51Speaker 1: sit home, ain't no email, sit home, same day. It's
- 24:54Speaker 1: a problem. I don't. I don't. I don't, sir. You
- 24:57Speaker 1: know I'm gonna come down here. I'm gonna tell you
- 25:00Speaker 1: once again, I am not going to send your son
- 25:04Speaker 1: to detention. I'm not gonna call you I'm gonna take
- 25:07Speaker 1: care of my job. My job is to make sure
- 25:09Speaker 1: I'm gonna take care of mine when you take care
- 25:10Speaker 1: of you all, I'm gonna take care of mine, and
- 25:12Speaker 1: that's protect my son and you put your hands on him,
- 25:15Speaker 1: and we got a problem. We're gonna have a problem
- 25:18Speaker 1: because nine times I'm telling you right now I'm calling
- 25:21Speaker 1: you and giving you the warning. Your son will be
- 25:23Speaker 1: dealt with and you're gonna be dead with. We'll be
- 25:26Speaker 1: dealt with on a regular basis if needs to be.
- 25:28Speaker 1: You're gonna get dealt with on a regular But you're
- 25:30Speaker 1: gonna get tired of seeing me. Okay, sir, Do I
- 25:33Speaker 1: need to actually have corporal punishment with you. I'll tell
- 25:36Speaker 1: you what when you do, when you bring that corporal
- 25:37Speaker 1: punishment to me, you better have the police there because
- 25:40Speaker 1: they're gonna need corporal punishment. They're gonna need whatever hell
- 25:43Speaker 1: they're gonna need to steam. When I get down and
- 25:45Speaker 1: you put your hands on my son, I know that all.
- 25:48Speaker 1: I'm you know what, sir, Maybe maybe maybe the twioper
- 25:51Speaker 1: needs to start with you. It has a matter of fact,
- 25:54Speaker 1: what time do you go to lunch? If we can
- 25:56Speaker 1: do this in front of and let all the kids
- 25:59Speaker 1: see the damn principal get his damn corporal punishment. Sir, sir,
- 26:03Speaker 1: I'm not. I'm not. I don't. I don't fear you
- 26:06Speaker 1: personal me because I want you to stand man and
- 26:08Speaker 1: take your like a man. I don't want to chase
- 26:11Speaker 1: you around like no little ground in school, Sir, Sir, sir.
- 26:14Speaker 1: The bottom line is corporal punishment is being in stated.
- 26:17Speaker 1: Your son is gonna bide by it. You're gonna have
- 26:19Speaker 1: to accept it, or maybe maybe you need to tell
- 26:21Speaker 1: you what you said. You got thirty five names on
- 26:23Speaker 1: your list, it better be thirty focus cut name. But
- 26:26Speaker 1: not being on the corporal punishment list, I know that, sir. Listen,
- 26:30Speaker 1: He's not on a corporal punishment list. He's on a
- 26:33Speaker 1: list of kids of kids that act up from time
- 26:35Speaker 1: to time. My damn son don't act up. My son
- 26:37Speaker 1: is a model stood. He had a little trouble with English,
- 26:41Speaker 1: you know, because his mom a little slow. But that's
- 26:43Speaker 1: my I did that. You know what I'm saying. You
- 26:45Speaker 1: know what, Sometimes I feel like I'm talking to the
- 26:47Speaker 1: child right now. You're talking to a grown man. And
- 26:50Speaker 1: if you put your hands on my son, you're gonna
- 26:52Speaker 1: see that I'm a grown man when I come down. Man, Okay,
- 26:55Speaker 1: I'm gonna put my hands on my damn sir. Then
- 26:58Speaker 1: I guess it's gonna be a lot of kicking. There's
- 27:00Speaker 1: gonna be something kick in and you line them up,
- 27:02Speaker 1: Syst Principal, I kick the lab So I come, man, man,
- 27:07Speaker 1: if she got something to say, you're gonna watch your tone.
- 27:09Speaker 1: You understand me, and you're gonna you're gonna take what
- 27:12Speaker 1: I'm telling you. Man, I don't care what you're saying.
- 27:16Speaker 1: Everybody's gonna bide. I put chains on the door. I
- 27:19Speaker 1: make sure China. I'm mister Lanson, and these kids are
- 27:27Speaker 1: gonna bide by what I want, and so are the parents.
- 27:29Speaker 1: And damn it, you, mister Cotton, you're gonna have to
- 27:32Speaker 1: toughen up and let me do my damn job. I
- 27:34Speaker 1: tell you what. Then you're gonna do what you got
- 27:36Speaker 1: to do today. But when I get down there, you
- 27:38Speaker 1: better had a police. When I get there, I tell
- 27:40Speaker 1: you who else I'm gonna have here if you can,
- 27:44Speaker 1: I'm gonna have nephew Timmy from the Steve Harvey Morning Show,
- 27:48Speaker 1: because that's who I am. Your co workers, Silver, you
- 27:51Speaker 1: got me the prey phone. Call you. I'm gonna tell
- 27:58Speaker 1: you what. I'm gonna break getting laid down at the
- 28:05Speaker 1: job kids. Man, I'm looking for my damn kids. Hey, listen,
- 28:20Speaker 1: I got one more thing to ask you, mister. What's that? Man?
- 28:23Speaker 1: What's the baddest radio show in the lane? Many? So
- 28:37Speaker 1: I can't, I can't whoop none of y'all kids, y'all
- 28:40Speaker 1: want don't even think about man? Oh no, you can.
- 28:45Speaker 1: And he told you you could, Tom, but you getting

- 28:52Speaker 1: she wants somebody. All right, thank you. Coming up at
- 28:58Speaker 1: the top of the hour, we'll have some entertainment the

- 29:21Speaker 1: meaning Offset. In a video, Cardie called herself a crazy
- 29:25Speaker 1: B word. She said, I'm just crazy and she shut
- 29:28Speaker 1: down the rumors that she got back with Offset because
- 29:31Speaker 1: she is materialistic. That's what the trolls were saying, but
- 29:34Speaker 1: she says she does like material things. And we all
- 29:37Speaker 1: know that Offset gave Cardi b a Rolls Royce for

- 33:09Speaker 1: Despite the protests against Judge Amy coney A Barrett, Donald
- 33:13Speaker 1: Trump's nomintee for the Supreme Court, the Republican chairman of
- 33:15Speaker 1: the Senate Judiciary Committee, Lindsey Graham, says he's moving ahead
- 33:18Speaker 1: with a vote to confirm Judge Barrett next week. Graham
- 33:21Speaker 1: says that Trump is the president, so it's his right
- 33:24Speaker 1: to nominate and to have his choice confirmed. However, Democrats
- 33:27Speaker 1: are calling the Republicans a bunch of hypocrites since they
- 33:30Speaker 1: refused to even interview President Obama's High Court nominee claiming
- 33:33Speaker 1: that it was too close to the election, and that
- 33:35Speaker 1: was two hundred days out, and they said the choice
- 33:38Speaker 1: at that time should have been left up to the
- 33:39Speaker 1: next president. That was their excuse. Well, besides that, Connecticut
- 33:42Speaker 1: Democrat Richard Bluemanthal says senators should be thinking about something else. Anyway.
- 33:46Speaker 1: We are in the midst of a pandemic and we
- 33:49Speaker 1: should be dealing with that health crisis instead of considering
- 33:53Speaker 1: the nomination once more. The committee vote is set for
- 33:57Speaker 1: next Thursday, with a full Senate vote expected some time
- 33:59Speaker 1: before election day. President Trump and Joe Biden held competing
- 34:03Speaker 1: town hall campaign events last night. Biden in Philadelphia, Trump events.
- 34:07Speaker 1: What Trump's event was in Miami, where he was questioned
- 34:10Speaker 1: by the about the coronavirus by NBC Savannah Guthrie. Did
- 34:13Speaker 1: you take a test on the day of the debate?
- 34:15Speaker 1: I guess at the bottom of ablably did then? I
- 34:17Speaker 1: took the test the day before and the day before.
- 34:19Speaker 1: He missed enormous opportunities and kept saying things that weren't true.
- 34:23Speaker 1: It's gonna go away by easter. Don't worry about it.
- 34:26Speaker 1: When the summer comes. It's all going to go away
- 34:28Speaker 1: like a miracle, and of course it didn't. Pennsylvania and
- 34:31Speaker 1: Florida or key swing states for both candidates in the
- 34:33Speaker 1: November election. Vice presidential candidate Kamala Harris will only be
- 34:37Speaker 1: campaigning virtually this weekend because an assistant of hers and
- 34:41Speaker 1: another person who's been around the person part of the
- 34:44Speaker 1: flight crew on the plane she's been on, they've tested
- 34:47Speaker 1: positive for the coronavirus, although she continues to test negative.
- 34:51Speaker 1: Later today, Joe Biden will be campaigning in Michigan while
- 34:54Speaker 1: the president campaigns in Florida and Georgia. Looks like he's
- 34:57Speaker 1: going to take his ego with him. Cowboy said to
- 34:59Speaker 1: me the other that you're the most famous person in
- 35:01Speaker 1: the world by far. Said no, I'm not. No, I'm not.
- 35:04Speaker 1: They said, yes, you are. Said no, They said, loose
- 35:07Speaker 1: more families. I said, Jesus Christ, Okay, do make him
- 35:13Speaker 1: number two. Eric Trump says his father literally saved Christianity.
- 35:17Speaker 1: That's the quote there. Well on a lodder knowledge to
- 35:20Speaker 1: a lot of note today is I love Lucy Day.
- 35:22Speaker 1: Oh wait a minute, Reggie, you stop that. Now back
- 35:25Speaker 1: to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. You're listening to Steve
- 35:29Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. Can I get a drum roll, please,
- 35:32Speaker 1: this is a big day. This is a huge day.
- 35:35Speaker 1: Right here, we gotta say happy National Boss's Day to
- 35:40Speaker 1: the one and only Steve Harvey. Yeah, Dave Harvey, this
- 35:47Speaker 1: boss is great boss. Well, what a great boss he is.
- 35:51Speaker 1: And Steve, here are some things to yes where you
- 35:55Speaker 1: gonna say something congratulations? Keep it? Yeah? Okay, all right,
- 36:09Speaker 1: well here's some things to know that you're a great boss. Okay,
- 36:13Speaker 1: you're open to new ideas home. Hmmm, I don't know
- 36:18Speaker 1: about that one. Okay, Uh. Fair treatment of all employees, Tommy,
- 36:24Speaker 1: Oh no, he's certainly. He likes the best. You educate.
- 36:29Speaker 1: A good boss educates, coaches and mentors his employees. Anything.
- 36:37Speaker 1: Employ Yeah, that's the one. Yeah, you give us good
- 36:49Speaker 1: A good boss gives us good feedback. And he doesn't
- 36:51Speaker 1: wait until our annual performance review to give us feedback
- 36:55Speaker 1: that we don't have. Am we have? You say that?
- 37:04Speaker 1: And this is the other thing that makes you a
- 37:06Speaker 1: good boss, having conversations with your employees by getting to
- 37:10Speaker 1: know them. I've been with Shirley twenty years, so I
- 37:13Speaker 1: know Shelly. I walked Shirley down the aisle and gave
- 37:16Speaker 1: her away. I've been knowing Jay longer than that. I've
- 37:20Speaker 1: been doing Jason's eighty six nineteen eighty six. But that's
- 37:26Speaker 1: that's thirty Jay is Stephen excellent, excellent? You really are
- 37:33Speaker 1: a good Well Jay gonna say that because I let
- 37:37Speaker 1: him do suck employee things and get away with it.
- 37:40Speaker 1: But like come to work when he wanted to work
- 37:42Speaker 1: twice a day, anybody else would have got rid of
- 37:47Speaker 1: his black not on who got them my hours? Not
- 37:53Speaker 1: to mention the nepotism, Yeah, hiring your nephew, Uncle Frankie
- 37:59Speaker 1: come to work, moan to Jimmy Kimmel showed industry though, No,
- 38:08Speaker 1: you're funny something he's funny as well. Oh no, no, no, no, no,
- 38:12Speaker 1: what he's said, well uncle frank, Uncle Franks funny though,
- 38:17Speaker 1: that's what he's saying. Anyway, Happy National Boss Day to you, Steve.
- 38:27Speaker 1: Coming up in thirty four minutes after the hour. Ice
- 38:30Speaker 1: Cube has been in the news quite a bit u
- 38:32Speaker 1: these last few days. He's defending working with the Trump administration.
- 38:36Speaker 1: We're going to talk about that right after this. You're
- 38:39Speaker 1: listening to show well. Ice Cube is facing a lot
- 38:44Speaker 1: of backlash, guys, as he defends his role on advising
- 38:48Speaker 1: the Trump administration. Cube himself confirmed that he spoke with
- 38:52Speaker 1: the Trump campaign about the Contract with Black America program,
- 38:55Speaker 1: and he recently tweeted facts I put out the c
- 38:59Speaker 1: WBA Contract with Black America. Both parties contacted me dem
- 39:03Speaker 1: said we'll address the c w BA After the election.
- 39:07Speaker 1: Trump campaign made some adjustments to their plan after talking
- 39:11Speaker 1: to us about the c WBA. The Trump administration is
- 39:15Speaker 1: absorbing some of the Ice Cube's plan and they're calling
- 39:20Speaker 1: it the Platinum Plan, So they changed the name from
- 39:22Speaker 1: Contract with Black America to the Platinum Plan. Ice Cube
- 39:25Speaker 1: talked to Roland Martin about this controversy tech A, Listen,
- 39:29Speaker 1: you believe that the Trump campaign greatly overstated your involvement
- 39:35Speaker 1: for the purpose of them being able to say we
- 39:37Speaker 1: have attached our salves to ice Cube. Did you believe
- 39:40Speaker 1: that you were used politically for their purposes as opposed
- 39:44Speaker 1: to really what happened. Look, I knew whoever I engage
- 39:48Speaker 1: will use that politically. I don't care about that. Part
- 39:51Speaker 1: part I care about is getting something done. Look, my
- 39:54Speaker 1: plan is called the Contract with Black America, So all
- 39:57Speaker 1: of them lacking when it comes to that. That's what
- 40:00Speaker 1: I'm pushing. So anybody who's gonna implement those plans into
- 40:04Speaker 1: their plan, I'm gonna take a look at it. Yeah see,
- 40:08Speaker 1: I've known ice Cube for a long time and my
- 40:11Speaker 1: relationship with him is solid, and I know ice Cube.
- 40:15Speaker 1: It's hard, and many people have felt that they've known
- 40:18Speaker 1: his heart. The problem that he's run into with this
- 40:21Speaker 1: is simply the timing of it all because this is
- 40:24Speaker 1: an election year. But I mean, he pitched a proposal
- 40:30Speaker 1: in an election year. The Democrats said, will take a
- 40:33Speaker 1: look at it after election, because guess what, they don't
- 40:35Speaker 1: hold the White House and they don't hold a Senate,
- 40:39Speaker 1: so it's nothing they can do, so they said, we'll
- 40:41Speaker 1: wait to after election. Of course, Trump, now I'm gonna
- 40:44Speaker 1: jump on anything because guess what, they have no plan
- 40:48Speaker 1: for black people. Trump ain't ever had a plan for
- 40:52Speaker 1: black people. So here he comes and and their administration say,
- 40:57Speaker 1: we'll take a look at and rename it the Platinum.
- 41:00Speaker 1: The problem with Trump is, even if he's reelected, what's
- 41:04Speaker 1: he really gonna do for black people that he's never
- 41:07Speaker 1: done in his life? And when he gets re elected,
- 41:10Speaker 1: he won't have to because he's not up for reelection ever. Again,
- 41:13Speaker 1: I don't see him doing anything or caring anything about
- 41:17Speaker 1: black people. Because Donald Trump's every cause he has ever
- 41:22Speaker 1: stood on a soapbox four has been against people of color.
- 41:27Speaker 1: I don't care. It started with the banning, the traveling,
- 41:30Speaker 1: the Muslims, people of color, the wall, people of color,
- 41:34Speaker 1: destroyed DOCCA, people of color, the Black Lives Matter movement.
- 41:39Speaker 1: He ain't opened his mouth about that, people of color.
- 41:43Speaker 1: George Floyd, he won't say Brianna's name, Colin Kaepernick. He
- 41:47Speaker 1: kneeled all of a sudden, he kneeling against the flag
- 41:49Speaker 1: and the military, which wasn't it at all. We later
- 41:52Speaker 1: found out not everybody kneeling, And so then the NFL
- 41:56Speaker 1: players locking on. That's a problem. The NBA players got
- 41:59Speaker 1: on their knees, that's a problem. George Floyd nothing, Brianna
- 42:04Speaker 1: Taylor nothing, Aubrey nothing, Blake nothing. He ain't gonna open
- 42:11Speaker 1: his mouth on behalf of nothing to do with people
- 42:16Speaker 1: of color. And don't you think that's why you're right?
- 42:19Speaker 1: And don't you think that's why Cube is getting the
- 42:22Speaker 1: backlash because Trump doesn't tell the truth. Why are you
- 42:25Speaker 1: even engaging him when he's such a liar. He's told
- 42:28Speaker 1: over the thirty thousand lot. You know, I think that's
- 42:32Speaker 1: why a lot of people are mad, because he's such
- 42:34Speaker 1: a liar. Why are you being engaging this man? But
- 42:37Speaker 1: cube is true, true, and that he sent it to
- 42:40Speaker 1: both parties, but he wanted a response now. But he
- 42:44Speaker 1: he gonna get something for the Trumps because they'll say
- 42:46Speaker 1: anything right right, They're desperate right now to get reelected.
- 42:51Speaker 1: Why are we dealing with voter suppression right now? If
- 42:54Speaker 1: you really cause the Donald Trump lifting up mailboxes, taking
- 42:59Speaker 1: him out to hood, taking them out of all Democratic districts,
- 43:02Speaker 1: closing down pole in stations. Only one place to drop
- 43:05Speaker 1: off your vote in Hairs County, not being Hairs County,
- 43:08Speaker 1: is it Sutress one place you can drop your damn ballot? Real? What? Yeah?
- 43:12Speaker 1: You damn you got to drive the fifth Ward drop
- 43:15Speaker 1: your damn ballot off. I'm just saying fifth Ward as
- 43:17Speaker 1: an example. But you can't just have one area. Yeah,
- 43:20Speaker 1: this dude lies. Yeah, we gotta vote. We gotta vote.
- 43:23Speaker 1: Eighteen days left until the election, Steve November three, go
- 43:27Speaker 1: to vote dot org to register. Coming up, We're gonna
- 43:30Speaker 1: switch gears here, nephew in the building with today's prank
- 43:33Speaker 1: phone call. Right after this you're listening to Dave Harvey
- 43:37Speaker 1: Morning Show. Coming up at the top of the hour

- 45:03Speaker 1: can come pick him up? I don't know about this. Well,
- 45:06Speaker 1: my name is Robert. Robert and my wife and I
- 45:09Speaker 1: got the call that we could do. You not know
- 45:11Speaker 1: about us, um adopting little Clarence? Oh what adopting? Who? Okay,
- 45:18Speaker 1: wait a minute, are you guys that are you guys
- 45:19Speaker 1: that drive? Yeah, that's that's my address. But uh, what

- 45:29Speaker 1: years old? Right? Yeah, he's two? What would you come
- 45:32Speaker 1: to pick up my son? And what is this agency's number?
- 45:36Speaker 1: The agency told us that what adoption agency. They've got
- 45:41Speaker 1: all our information, We've we've filled out all the paperwork,
- 45:43Speaker 1: and you guys aren't aware that that we're supposed to
- 45:46Speaker 1: come there today to pick him up. We don't know
- 45:49Speaker 1: what adoptionation? You said as well? How to get my information?
- 45:52Speaker 1: I'm not sure We've we've got pictures of Clarence and
- 45:56Speaker 1: and uh, you know my wife is actually going out
- 45:59Speaker 1: and bought balloons and everything, and and we were gonna

- 46:04Speaker 1: maybe like around six pm we'd come get it. No,
- 46:07Speaker 1: you ain't coming here to pick up new clans. Tell
- 46:09Speaker 1: you that right now. Okay, wait wait a minute, now,

- 46:16Speaker 1: wait a minute. You're you're you're you're Clarence Senior. Correct, yes,
- 46:21Speaker 1: I am. And you don't know anything about us to
- 46:23Speaker 1: come over there to pick the baby up. He don't know.
- 46:26Speaker 1: I don't know man about this. See what's the name
- 46:28Speaker 1: of this? Basically adoption agents who believe you my information
- 46:33Speaker 1: and how they get my information to come pick up
- 46:35Speaker 1: my son. I don't know that, sir. All I know
- 46:38Speaker 1: is is, uh, we've bought a car seat where where
- 46:42Speaker 1: you know my wife has bought balloons? Man, I don't care.

- 46:47Speaker 1: ain't come to get my son, Okay, sir. I mean,
- 46:50Speaker 1: what I'm not gonna do is is tell my wife
- 46:53Speaker 1: that we're not coming to get Clarence Junior today. Oh yeah, y'all,
- 46:56Speaker 1: you're gonna have to tell her that because you ain't
- 46:57Speaker 1: coming here to pick up my huh, sir from with
- 46:59Speaker 1: the apriwork that I have. Clarence is actually my son. Now, man,
- 47:04Speaker 1: you ain't your paperwork. You ain't coming here to pick
- 47:06Speaker 1: on my son. So Clarence Junior is mine and I'm

- 47:15Speaker 1: want to come on over here. I'm waiting for you.
- 47:16Speaker 1: I'm standing in that way right now. Okay, we'll wait

- 47:21Speaker 1: are not doing well financial financial Are you working? No,
- 47:25Speaker 1: I ain't working. I'm doing anything. I ain't gonna get

- 47:30Speaker 1: but but but in other words, you're not You're not
- 47:33Speaker 1: able to provide for him. From what I understand, my
- 47:36Speaker 1: son ain't miss No mean, he got clothes on the back,
- 47:38Speaker 1: he got a roof over here. Man, I'm out. You
- 47:40Speaker 1: ain't coming here and picks on my son. I don't
- 47:42Speaker 1: care what I got to do, man, I go out

- 47:46Speaker 1: cars mirroring. Okay, okay, about to come here and get
- 47:49Speaker 1: my son. But don't you think he deserves a better home.
- 47:51Speaker 1: I don't know what the but the screw up is.
- 47:54Speaker 1: I don't know, but I'm trying to at least rationalize
- 47:56Speaker 1: with you so you can understand why me and my
- 47:59Speaker 1: junior ain't coming and get my son. He ain't got
- 48:01Speaker 1: home right now. I live my son. You ain't taking nowhere.
- 48:04Speaker 1: I'm telling I'm right, he ain't a did way. Come

- 48:22Speaker 1: and my wife are gonna take him to his new home.
- 48:24Speaker 1: When you get it's gonna be one hell of an altercation.
- 48:27Speaker 1: So you wife won't come to law. Whoever gonna come
- 48:29Speaker 1: with you bring my adoption nation too, so I whop
- 48:31Speaker 1: down too. You know where, man, if you was to
- 48:34Speaker 1: be able to provide for your family, wouldn't nobody to
- 48:36Speaker 1: be trying to adopt your child. The problem is that
- 48:38Speaker 1: you can't take care of your family. Now I'm living
- 48:40Speaker 1: my wife coming over there, and we're coming to get
- 48:42Speaker 1: Clarence Junior. No, you ain't come down here to get

- 49:09Speaker 1: wife are telling you. Nobody's gonna come here and tell you.
- 49:12Speaker 1: I disappoint my wife has got my No, I don't

- 54:05Speaker 1: your letter live on the air, just like we're going
- 54:07Speaker 1: to read this thing right here, right here, right now, Jay,
- 54:12Speaker 1: hold on tight, we got it for you. Here. It
- 54:15Speaker 1: is the Strawberry Letter Thank you subject. I want to
- 54:18Speaker 1: sleep with my pastor, Dear Stephen Shirley. I am a
- 54:23Speaker 1: forty four year old woman and I've been attending a
- 54:26Speaker 1: church in my city for about seven months now. It's
- 54:29Speaker 1: a small church and I love the members and I
- 54:31Speaker 1: am truly blessed weekly by the beautiful sermons the pastor preaches.
- 54:36Speaker 1: The pastor is my age, single and fine. After I
- 54:40Speaker 1: began attending the church, the pastor and I became friends
- 54:43Speaker 1: on social media, which wasn't unusual because he's big on
- 54:47Speaker 1: promoting the church through social media and like I said,
- 54:50Speaker 1: he's single. We started interacting by liking each other's post
- 54:55Speaker 1: and messaging each other in the d MS if we
- 54:59Speaker 1: saw something that we wanted to share. Our messages were
- 55:02Speaker 1: never inappropriate. He sent group texts about church committee meetings
- 55:07Speaker 1: or if something was going on that everyone should know about.
- 55:10Speaker 1: So I took it a step further and started texting
- 55:13Speaker 1: him one on one to ask how his day was
- 55:15Speaker 1: going or to comment on the daily scripture he posted online.
- 55:19Speaker 1: He'd respond right away with a cute but respectable response.
- 55:24Speaker 1: I began to think there might be some chemistry between us,
- 55:27Speaker 1: and I couldn't wait for our church to resume normal
- 55:30Speaker 1: services so I could see him while he's giving us
- 55:34Speaker 1: the word. All I can think about is giving him
- 55:37Speaker 1: the business. I want desperately to sleep with my pastor,
- 55:43Speaker 1: but he's different now. When I see him, he's become
- 55:46Speaker 1: very distant, and he no longer interacts with me on
- 55:49Speaker 1: social media. So I haven't tried to text him because
- 55:52Speaker 1: I don't want to get my feelings hurt. My mom
- 55:55Speaker 1: told me that God revealed to him that I had
- 55:57Speaker 1: indecent thoughts about him and trying to avoid me. I
- 56:01Speaker 1: can't just turn my feelings off, so I'm thinking about
- 56:05Speaker 1: leaving his church. What if he's feeling the same way
- 56:08Speaker 1: about me and he can't express it, what should I do? Well,
- 56:14Speaker 1: you say he's single, right, You said that in the letter.
- 56:16Speaker 1: You said he's single and fine, and of course he's
- 56:20Speaker 1: a man and he's a man of the cloth. But
- 56:22Speaker 1: he's also a man. So if he was interested in
- 56:27Speaker 1: you as a man, not as a man of the cloth,
- 56:30Speaker 1: I'm sure he would have no problem asking you out
- 56:32Speaker 1: for coffee or something. Right keywords. If he was interested
- 56:36Speaker 1: in you, it sure seems like he's not, because he
- 56:39Speaker 1: has never been inappropriate with you, you said, his responses
- 56:43Speaker 1: on social media have always been respectable with you, and
- 56:46Speaker 1: every communication has been with a group text or just
- 56:50Speaker 1: a neutral, noncommittal type response on his part. And now
- 56:55Speaker 1: you say he's distant with you, Well, that means he
- 56:58Speaker 1: doesn't want to get into any thing with you. Now
- 57:01Speaker 1: you're talking about leaving the church because you want to
- 57:04Speaker 1: sleep with him so desperately. You can't think of the
- 57:07Speaker 1: message when he's preaching. All you can think of is
- 57:09Speaker 1: giving him the business when he's giving you the message.
- 57:12Speaker 1: You said all of that. Clearly you're no longer there
- 57:16Speaker 1: for the message and what the Lord is saying because
- 57:19Speaker 1: all you can think about is fornicating with your pastor.
- 57:22Speaker 1: Keep in mind, now I'm not condemning you. We all
- 57:24Speaker 1: fall short, you know, and have impure thoughts and all that.
- 57:28Speaker 1: But what happens when you go to a different church
- 57:30Speaker 1: and they have a fine pastor. Because you're talking about
- 57:33Speaker 1: leaving and the same things happened, you're gonna want to
- 57:36Speaker 1: sleep with him too. What I'm saying is please stop
- 57:39Speaker 1: trying to tempt your pastor. Just go to church, get
- 57:42Speaker 1: the word. And if the single pastor is interested in
- 57:44Speaker 1: making you his first lady, or he just wants to
- 57:47Speaker 1: holler at you, I'm sure he will. Okay, leave him
- 57:51Speaker 1: alone for now, Steve. Yeah, let's gon't get into this
- 57:56Speaker 1: one sided letter. I want to sleep with my pastor. Well,
- 58:04Speaker 1: let's find out if he feels the same. All right,
- 58:08Speaker 1: let's go. You fought it four years old, been in
- 58:11Speaker 1: this church in your city for about seven months. Small.
- 58:15Speaker 1: You love the members, truly blessed weakly by the beautiful
- 58:20Speaker 1: sermons the pastor preachers. Okay, you and that cause of
- 58:25Speaker 1: the beautiful sermons that your pastor preachers him. I just
- 58:29Speaker 1: made a note of that on my paper. Oh okay,
- 58:34Speaker 1: the pastor is my age, single and fine. The pastor's
- 58:42Speaker 1: forty four, single and fine. The pastor. After you've been
- 58:48Speaker 1: tending the church, you became friends on social media, which
- 58:52Speaker 1: wasn't unusual because he's being on promoting the church on
- 58:55Speaker 1: social media. Like I said, he's single. You've said that
- 59:00Speaker 1: three times in it last we got it. He's single
- 59:03Speaker 1: in you two but he's single and fine. We started
- 59:08Speaker 1: interacting by liking each other's post and messaging each other
- 59:12Speaker 1: into dms. Now, let me explain something to you. He
- 59:14Speaker 1: like a lot of people post he trying to grow
- 59:18Speaker 1: to church. I promise you yours ain't the only post
- 59:22Speaker 1: he like. Then we started messing each other into dms
- 59:26Speaker 1: if we saw something we wanted to share. Our messages
- 59:29Speaker 1: were never inappropriate. So he never hit on you, he
- 59:32Speaker 1: know he, And in these dms he has not one
- 59:35Speaker 1: time told you you was fine. Hello, holding Steve. We'll
- 59:40Speaker 1: have part two of your response of Steve Harvey's response
- 59:44Speaker 1: coming up at twenty three minutes a half to the hour.
- 59:46Speaker 1: My Strawberry letter for today. The subject is I want
- 59:49Speaker 1: to sleep with my pastor. We'll get back into it
- 59:52Speaker 1: right after this. You're listening to Harvey Morning Show. All right, Steve,
- 59:57Speaker 1: come on, let's recap today's Strawberry letter. These object I
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: want to sleep with my pastor keyword, I want to
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: sleep with my pastor. I am a forty four year
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: old woman being going to this church all this time,
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: and a lot of members and everything, and then I'm
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: blessed by the beautiful sermons that the pastor preachers. Once again.
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: Oh okay, the pastor is my age, single and fine, keyword,
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: the pastor is single and fine. You've been at the
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: church and you all wasn't unusual, But y'all been friends
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: on social media because he promoted the church through the
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: social media. Like I said, he's single. We got it.
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: That's three times we started interacting by liking each other's
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: post and messaging to each other in the DM. You
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: ain't the only one that slid in his d MS,
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: and you ain't the only one post he likes. This
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: ain't nothing do Why do you think? How you think
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: he learned how to like a post? Okay, this ain't
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: nothing new. We saw something that we wanted to share,
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: y'all sliding each other's dn our messages were never inappropriate
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: right there? He ain't never told you you was fine.
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: He didn't kept it clean. He sent group texts about
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: the church committee meetings or something's going on, and all
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: this here and everybody needed to know about here we go.
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: So I I took a step and uh and further
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: and started texting him one on one to ask his
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: day was going to commit on the day. See, you
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: took a step, he didn't. You took this step, lady,
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: he didn't, and I tell him a comment on the scripture.
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: He posted that you don't give a damn about these scriptures.
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: Stop bringing these scriptures up. Appreciate beautiful simmons. Stop. I
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: commented on the scripture. You sound fake. He respond way
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: away with a cute but respect of reprob. Oh that's
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: so nice, So happy you could be there. I want
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: nothing more than to please my membership. Oh Lord Jesus,
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: he said that to me. He ain't said nothing. Here
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: we go again. I began to think that might be
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: some chemistry between us. Here you here, your ass is
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: thinking by your damn self. See this, hold this one
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: side of ass letter. I began to think that might
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: be some chemistry between us and I. Here we go again.
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: I couldn't wait for our church to resume normal services
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: so I could see him. He wasn't sitting up waiting
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: on resuming normal services so he could see you. You
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: see you began. Here we go. All I can think
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: and I could see him while he's given us the word.
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: All I can think about is giving him the business. Okay,
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: so here we go. Let's go back up to the top.
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: About these beautiful sermons, these sermons is beautiful because you daydream. Also,
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: why are he talking about the word. I mean, where
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: are you going? So you're taking Bible studies and plugging
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: yourself in there in a different type of way. Later,
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: if I could touch to him and his garment, I
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: show want his garment. He was not talking about that, lady. See,
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: that's why all these sermons is so beautiful to you,
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: because your ass is somewhere else. You're an erotic city.
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: He tried to get you to heaven. You want to
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: go to erotic city. You press So now I won't desperately.
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: I won't desperately to sleep with my pastor. But he
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: different now when I see, Okay, see a couple of
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: your texts went a little bit too far, So now
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: different when I see he'd become very distant and he
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: no longer interrupt interacts with me on social media. So
- 1:04:06Speaker 1: I haven't tried to text him because I don't want
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: to get my feelings hurt. Because you ain't the only
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: one slid in the DMS. Somebody else has slived in
- 1:04:15Speaker 1: the DM that's single and fine. He never told you
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: you was fine. My mom told me that God revealed
- 1:04:22Speaker 1: to him that I had indecent thoughts about him, and
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: he's trying to avoid me. That could be very well true.
- 1:04:27Speaker 1: I don't know. Your mother seemed like a godly woman
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: to make a statement like that, So maybe that's true,
- 1:04:33Speaker 1: and he trying to live his life the best way.
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: I just can't turn my feelings off. Okay, Okay, keep him.
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: So I'm thinking about leaving his church. I bet he
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: don't call. See where you at? What if he's feeling
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: the same way about me? He'd have told you. See,
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: listen to this line. What if he's feeling the same
- 1:04:56Speaker 1: way about me and he can't express it? What past
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: do you know has trouble expressing himself? Don't they talk
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: for a living in front of large groups of people. Lady,
- 1:05:11Speaker 1: there's no such thing as a passer that has trouble
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: expressing himself. Are you crazy? What should I do? Leave
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: the church and let me ask you something. All these
- 1:05:22Speaker 1: feelings you got about him? Do he feel any of this? Feek?
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: I don't think so. You have trumped up this whole
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: imaginary relationship. He up there giving the word, bit of
- 1:05:34Speaker 1: all said, they're trying to write this beautiful word and
- 1:05:37Speaker 1: this message saving souls, and you in here thinking about
- 1:05:41Speaker 1: disrobe in the pastor and just giving him the business.
- 1:05:48Speaker 1: But he ain't looking at you doing the sermons. And
- 1:05:51Speaker 1: since he's singling, fine, you don't think maybe he's somewhere
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: giving somebody the business. All right, Thank you, Steve. Post
- 1:06:04Speaker 1: your comments on today's Strawberry Letter at Steve Harvey FM
- 1:06:07Speaker 1: on Instagram and Facebook, and don't forget to check out

- 1:16:30Speaker 1: meaning Offset, and in a video, Cartie called herself a
- 1:16:35Speaker 1: crazy B word. She said, I'm just crazy. And she
- 1:16:39Speaker 1: shut down the rumors that she got back with Offset
- 1:16:41Speaker 1: because she is materialistic, That's what the trolls were saying.
- 1:16:45Speaker 1: But she says she does like material things. And we

- 1:22:20Speaker 1: We need everybody who has the ability to vote to vote.
- 1:22:26Speaker 1: We need you, if you are eligible, to fill out
- 1:22:30Speaker 1: your forms and vote. I don't care who you are.
- 1:22:33Speaker 1: I don't care what you've done. I don't care if
- 1:22:36Speaker 1: you've never voted before. I don't care if you've never
- 1:22:38Speaker 1: had a reason. Let me tell you something. You have
- 1:22:42Speaker 1: a reason this time, because if you don't, you're going
- 1:22:45Speaker 1: to allow a man to remain in office who don't
- 1:22:51Speaker 1: care nothing about you. Young people, we need you. We
- 1:22:55Speaker 1: need young people to turn out these polls, to stop
- 1:22:59Speaker 1: sitting it out, to stop waiting until you thirty before
- 1:23:02Speaker 1: you vote. Vote now. If you're eighteen year voting age,
- 1:23:05Speaker 1: you should vote. You have to vote, man, This is
- 1:23:10Speaker 1: critical this year. This is because we want to send
- 1:23:14Speaker 1: a message to him that black lives matter, whether you
- 1:23:18Speaker 1: believe it or not, and to prove to you, sir,
- 1:23:21Speaker 1: that they matter. We're going to vote in large numbers
- 1:23:24Speaker 1: against you. Now if you may, you know, you may
- 1:23:28Speaker 1: not have never thought black lives matter before, but you're
- 1:23:31Speaker 1: gonna know now because we are going to vote in
- 1:23:35Speaker 1: large numbers to prove to you that not saying Brianna
- 1:23:39Speaker 1: Taylor's name, that not caring about the Floyd death, not
- 1:23:43Speaker 1: caring about the Aubrey death, the Blake incident, making those
- 1:23:47Speaker 1: look off color remarks, supporting the Proud Boys, all of
- 1:23:51Speaker 1: that stuff. Man, ain't nobody anybody with you, anybody with
- 1:23:57Speaker 1: you on that, not us, not anybody of color, not
- 1:24:02Speaker 1: anybody who is non African American who cares about the
- 1:24:06Speaker 1: decency and the treatment of other people. I know a
- 1:24:10Speaker 1: lot of people who are not African Americans that ain't
- 1:24:12Speaker 1: gonna vote for you. So a lot of them, I
- 1:24:16Speaker 1: know a lot of them that's not gonna vote for you.
- 1:24:21Speaker 1: Enjoy your last few days in the White House, because
- 1:24:25Speaker 1: after November third, you got a couple of months to
- 1:24:30Speaker 1: sit down and just but y'all need to be packing,
- 1:24:33Speaker 1: though y'all really make y'all need to be packing. Get
- 1:24:37Speaker 1: some stuff in the band, get ready, and I hope
- 1:24:40Speaker 1: you decide that you're not gonna leave piecefus peacefully. I
- 1:24:44Speaker 1: hope you do, because I want to watch the news
- 1:24:47Speaker 1: when they come and escort you out. I do, man,
- 1:24:51Speaker 1: I want to see it. So I don't know how
- 1:24:54Speaker 1: to do it. I don't know what else to say.
- 1:24:57Speaker 1: I'm just asking you, playing as I can. You have
- 1:25:02Speaker 1: to vote. Yeah, And you know, man, that little question
- 1:25:06Speaker 1: you keep asking about, what is it that we got
- 1:25:10Speaker 1: to lose? Remember when President Trump said, African Americans, what
- 1:25:14Speaker 1: do you got to lose? Our lives? That's what we
- 1:25:20Speaker 1: have to lose, our damn life, the one that you
- 1:25:25Speaker 1: don't care about. The slogan says it black lives matter,
- 1:25:29Speaker 1: but since they don't matter to you, the question you
- 1:25:32Speaker 1: keep asking is what do you have to lose? When
- 1:25:35Speaker 1: you talk to African Americans about voting for you, Well,
- 1:25:39Speaker 1: if we vote for you, let me tell you what
- 1:25:41Speaker 1: we can lose our lives. You can support the police,
- 1:25:45Speaker 1: and we support good police too, or when police commit crimes,
- 1:25:49Speaker 1: they have to pay. Period. We're gonna vote you out, sir,
- 1:25:54Speaker 1: see you soon clean that night stand off, step out
- 1:25:57Speaker 1: of here, come on, flap it up for all. Steve
