- 2:05Speaker 1: to the voice, come on dig and now wanted only
- 2:09Speaker 1: Steve Harley got a radio show. Okay today you know
- 2:13Speaker 1: this week, I've just been on it, so today is
- 2:16Speaker 1: no different what I'm trying to do. I'm telling you,
- 2:20Speaker 1: I've just reinvigorated myself. I'm more determined to share the
- 2:25Speaker 1: principles of success. I'm more determined to help and guide
- 2:31Speaker 1: and teach as many people as I can the things
- 2:34Speaker 1: that I've learned. And I mean, man, I've been through it.
- 2:37Speaker 1: I have really been through it. I kid you not.
- 2:39Speaker 1: You know. I used to say, okay, God, you know
- 2:42Speaker 1: why is all this happening to me? But as I uh,
- 2:45Speaker 1: I've gotten older, I understand that was the ingredients. I
- 2:50Speaker 1: needed the ingredients to be this cake. I needed all
- 2:53Speaker 1: those ingredients stirred up. I need all of that different flavors,
- 2:58Speaker 1: the stuff that I didn't think taste so good. All
- 3:01Speaker 1: that stuff had to come into the bowl in order
- 3:04Speaker 1: for me to get to where I am today. As
- 3:06Speaker 1: much as I did not like the taste of the ingredients,
- 3:12Speaker 1: little did I know, God was making this cake, not me.
- 3:15Speaker 1: But what he did was and you've heard you the
- 3:18Speaker 1: old saying God could turn lemons lemons into lemonade. Well
- 3:23Speaker 1: that's what he was doing now. At the time, it
- 3:26Speaker 1: all had a little funky lemonade lemony flavor to it,
- 3:31Speaker 1: with some other stuff in it too. I didn't care
- 3:34Speaker 1: for it. But little did I know, Little did I
- 3:37Speaker 1: know that I needed everything that happened to me to
- 3:40Speaker 1: happen to me in the exact order that had happened,
- 3:43Speaker 1: in the exact array of things that happened for me
- 3:46Speaker 1: to have a knowledge I have today, the experience, the attitude,
- 3:52Speaker 1: but so I could turn around and share that information. Okay,
- 3:58Speaker 1: got that out the way. I've learned this. This, This
- 4:02Speaker 1: is what I want to give to you today. I
- 4:04Speaker 1: want you to understand something that discipline determines your destiny,
- 4:11Speaker 1: not your desire. Discipline determined your destiny, not your desire.
- 4:18Speaker 1: You've heard me say this how many times on the show. Okay,
- 4:20Speaker 1: here we go again, Steve, I got it. Faith without
- 4:24Speaker 1: works it's dead. But let me tell you something. To
- 4:28Speaker 1: be a hard worker, you got to be disciplined. That's
- 4:31Speaker 1: one of the hardest lessons I'm trying to get through
- 4:33Speaker 1: to my sons that an undisciplined man is headed to
- 4:37Speaker 1: a life of justice. I can't even tell you, man,
- 4:41Speaker 1: you're gonna throw yourself down a cliff if you're not
- 4:44Speaker 1: a young man or a man that possesses discipline. Because
- 4:48Speaker 1: they got something for undisciplined people. They got some street
- 4:52Speaker 1: laws for undisciplined people, and they got some federal laws
- 4:57Speaker 1: and state laws for undisciplined people. That's why them signs
- 5:01Speaker 1: is outside on the freeway, We're gonna let you go fast,
- 5:04Speaker 1: but seventy is the limit. Seventy fast enough? Really, really,
- 5:09Speaker 1: if you're disciplined enough of a person to leave your
- 5:12Speaker 1: house at the time you're supposed to leave your house.
- 5:15Speaker 1: Seventy miles per hour is absolutely enough. But if you're
- 5:19Speaker 1: an undisciplined person, if you don't have the wherewithal to
- 5:23Speaker 1: leave your house on time, to make to get ready
- 5:27Speaker 1: to go where you want to go, see the desires
- 5:30Speaker 1: where you want to go. The discipline is how you
- 5:33Speaker 1: get there. You know, you understand. You can wanna go
- 5:37Speaker 1: to see your family in California all you want, but
- 5:41Speaker 1: the flight leaves at one eighteen. You leave your house
- 5:45Speaker 1: at twenty or thirty. They told you you must check
- 5:49Speaker 1: in one hour before your flight. Now, if you ain't
- 5:52Speaker 1: got the discipline to get to the airport to check
- 5:55Speaker 1: in one hour before your flight, leaving your house forty
- 5:59Speaker 1: five minutes before the flight departs, what you think gonna happen?
- 6:03Speaker 1: Your desire to go see your family in l A
- 6:07Speaker 1: Is going to be thwarted because you lack the discipline
- 6:11Speaker 1: to prepare yourself and get yourself ready to do the
- 6:14Speaker 1: things that you have to do to make your desires
- 6:17Speaker 1: come true. I'm telling you discipline determines your destiny, not
- 6:22Speaker 1: your desire. You can write down a list of stuff
- 6:25Speaker 1: you want to do all day, but if you don't
- 6:27Speaker 1: produce and show the discipline necessary to get there. What
- 6:31Speaker 1: you think gonna happen? Huh. Okay, I want to be rich. Okay,
- 6:38Speaker 1: I want to make four hundred thousand in a year. Okay,
- 6:42Speaker 1: I want to be the best player that they is. Okay,
- 6:46Speaker 1: but you'll want to practice. See the cat that's disciplined
- 6:50Speaker 1: enough to show up at practice, the shooting jumps when
- 6:52Speaker 1: everybody gone home, that's the guy that's gonna be the best.
- 6:56Speaker 1: The guy that puts us and that's never late for practice,
- 6:59Speaker 1: the goud study the playbook. That's the guy that's gonna
- 7:02Speaker 1: make it. That's the guy that's gonna make Not the
- 7:05Speaker 1: guy that's talking crack I stalk the next smack. I'm
- 7:08Speaker 1: gonna make the Pro Bowl, I'm gonna make the All
- 7:10Speaker 1: Star Team. I'm gonna be All American. That's that's just
- 7:13Speaker 1: what you're saying. You know, you can say a lot
- 7:17Speaker 1: of stuff, but discipline determines your destiny, not your desire.
- 7:24Speaker 1: So now let's talk about this discipline. What is that really, Steve,
- 7:28Speaker 1: that's your work ethic, that's your hunger, that's that's your
- 7:33Speaker 1: will that that's what you do. That's how hard you're
- 7:39Speaker 1: willing to demonstrate. See it's a live demonstration. Now, discipline
- 7:46Speaker 1: is how hard you're willing to demonstrate the attributes and
- 7:53Speaker 1: the traits to be what you want to be. Did
- 7:57Speaker 1: you hear me? It is your willingness to conduct yourself
- 8:03Speaker 1: in a manner that is above and beyond what they
- 8:08Speaker 1: what what they say is necessary. Okay, let me see
- 8:11Speaker 1: if I can come up with an example for that.
- 8:14Speaker 1: So I was watching the NFL Combines on TV. Now,
- 8:18Speaker 1: this is a good example right here. Now. You can
- 8:21Speaker 1: want to be in the NFL all you want, but
- 8:23Speaker 1: they got this thing called the NFL Combines where they
- 8:27Speaker 1: bring in some of the top players at every position
- 8:30Speaker 1: to come and they're gonna run a forty yard dash,
- 8:33Speaker 1: They're gonna do a standing broad jump, They're gonna do
- 8:37Speaker 1: a standing vertical leap. Uh, They're gonna do drills, running drills,
- 8:43Speaker 1: cutting drills. They can determine if a linebacker got stiff
- 8:48Speaker 1: hips by making him back pedal, point him in one
- 8:51Speaker 1: direction and throw the football in another direction. How does
- 8:54Speaker 1: he turn his body? Now you can say you can
- 8:56Speaker 1: tell everybody that your college you want to play pro football.
- 8:59Speaker 1: You tell everybody out at your high school. You tell
- 9:01Speaker 1: him in Peewee you wanna play pro football, but they
- 9:03Speaker 1: got tests for you though. It's called the combines. Now
- 9:07Speaker 1: you get out here and you have a bad combine day,
- 9:09Speaker 1: Ain't nobody trying to hear that. Let me tell you
- 9:13Speaker 1: how excuses don't work with people when they're just trying
- 9:15Speaker 1: to get when they're trying to win. In the NFL,
- 9:18Speaker 1: the fact that you had a bad day at the
- 9:21Speaker 1: combine and you don't run your best forties and you
- 9:24Speaker 1: just keep telling them you could do better, they don't
- 9:26Speaker 1: want to hear that. Because see, what ain't nobody gonna
- 9:28Speaker 1: pay you for is to play on Sunday. And that's
- 9:31Speaker 1: one of your bad days. Now, we were paying you
- 9:35Speaker 1: to play on Sundays, but because you keep having these
- 9:39Speaker 1: bad days, because you ain't discipline enough to put in
- 9:42Speaker 1: the work to make sure that your maximum can be
- 9:45Speaker 1: put can be called upon at any time. Now you
- 9:49Speaker 1: have to combine with some slow times that go on
- 9:52Speaker 1: your record. You have to combine. You don't jump as
- 9:56Speaker 1: high as you did when you was at the gym class. Well,
- 9:58Speaker 1: hold up, man, this is show day now in the NFL.
- 10:02Speaker 1: Sunday is show day. What they can't run the risk
- 10:05Speaker 1: of is paying you your money, and your bad day
- 10:08Speaker 1: happen to be on Sundays after we didn't cut your check. No, no, no,
- 10:12Speaker 1: We're looking for people who limit them bad days, who
- 10:15Speaker 1: got the discipline to work hard, to make an effort
- 10:18Speaker 1: for you. Understand what I'm saying to your folks. Please
- 10:21Speaker 1: understand this. Discipline determines your destiny, not your desire. You
- 10:27Speaker 1: you can, you can want it all you want. But
- 10:30Speaker 1: if you ain't working, if you ain't grinding, if you
- 10:33Speaker 1: ain't greeting your teeth, if you ain't hurting, if you
- 10:37Speaker 1: ain't sweating real bad, if you always somewhere got to chill,
- 10:42Speaker 1: you got to have a cold, one, you got to
- 10:44Speaker 1: smoke one, you always, you gotta do all them things.
- 10:47Speaker 1: Can't tell you something you ain't gonna make it. Discipline
- 10:52Speaker 1: determines your destiny, not your desires. You're listening to the
- 10:59Speaker 1: ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, people from all around
- 11:02Speaker 1: the world. I have news for you. You are listening
- 11:05Speaker 1: right now to the baddest morning show in the land,
- 11:09Speaker 1: all parts of the free world, any third world country,
- 11:13Speaker 1: and anyone involved in communism. We have He's the greatest
- 11:18Speaker 1: show of them all. All right, Good morning, everybody, Hey,
- 11:22Speaker 1: what what the president do? Now, I've come to work
- 11:26Speaker 1: to find out what he hadn't done. Now he did
- 11:28Speaker 1: he did something because you know, man, because I work
- 11:31Speaker 1: a lot, and so I just yeah, I mean you're
- 11:34Speaker 1: just like everyday people. People get busy and they missed stuff. Yeah, yeah,
- 11:42Speaker 1: what are you doing that? Well, he said the president
- 11:44Speaker 1: Obama um didn't call like gold star families or families
- 11:49Speaker 1: whose uh sons and daughters served in the military. Basically yeah, yeah,
- 11:57Speaker 1: which is not true, which was a lot none of
- 12:02Speaker 1: him or Obama and his predecessors. Yeah, he's only one
- 12:08Speaker 1: to call. No, I heard him say that. It's interesting
- 12:12Speaker 1: to me, man, I didn't know you could do that
- 12:15Speaker 1: and be president though, didn't just say stuff. Apparently any
- 12:22Speaker 1: one of us actually thought. I didn't know you could
- 12:24Speaker 1: not be smart and be president. I didn't know that.
- 12:27Speaker 1: I thought you had to be smart. He's done enough
- 12:29Speaker 1: stuff for four years, the only nine months in Well,
- 12:34Speaker 1: you know, man, m you have nothing. We're here, ask
- 12:43Speaker 1: ask it. I think he's a smart guy. Well, I
- 12:47Speaker 1: think it's some other stuff wrong. Also, well, I think
- 12:53Speaker 1: he's smart in business running the country. It is a
- 12:57Speaker 1: whole nother No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, clueless,
- 13:01Speaker 1: But it's it's some other things wrong, you know, like
- 13:05Speaker 1: he is set in his ways. Oh yeah, so you're concerned.
- 13:11Speaker 1: You're saying there's some other things that we should be
- 13:13Speaker 1: concerned about. Oh yeah, yeah, Well we'll see. First of all,
- 13:15Speaker 1: I'm I'm of one of the rare people who are
- 13:18Speaker 1: and who was freely admitting that I'm stunned at what
- 13:23Speaker 1: some of the stuff he's done. Everybody else is playing like,
- 13:26Speaker 1: oh no, I'm not surprised at all. Now you should
- 13:29Speaker 1: be surprised. You've got to be surprised. Now, I am too.
- 13:34Speaker 1: He was crazy as a candidate, I mean he ran,
- 13:38Speaker 1: he ran, Yeah, he really was. But but this is
- 13:41Speaker 1: another level though as president. I used to like him,
- 13:46Speaker 1: Like when the Apprentice, I used to like him. I
- 13:49Speaker 1: used to think he was the ball. Still kids, he's
- 13:54Speaker 1: still he's still kid. If you were looking at the
- 13:59Speaker 1: presidency Prentice exactly, you can like him. See he's still
- 14:05Speaker 1: is star war and a course saying president is say
- 14:10Speaker 1: printice and you can go back to no, no, no, President,
- 14:19Speaker 1: don't don't try to put in there. All right, we
- 14:25Speaker 1: gotta go over half of Americans find themselves physically attractive
- 14:29Speaker 1: did you guys know that? And only thirty eight percent
- 14:32Speaker 1: care if others agree. We'll talk about that when we
- 14:35Speaker 1: come back at thirty after the Yeah, you're listening to
- 14:41Speaker 1: the Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, here we go.
- 14:46Speaker 1: Over half of Americans find themselves physically attractive, over half,
- 14:50Speaker 1: all right, but only thirty eight percent care if others agree.
- 14:55Speaker 1: This is according to want me to let that marinade
- 14:58Speaker 1: for a minute. According to the latest data from you GUVs.
- 15:04Speaker 1: Omnibus research, most Americans find themselves attractive. They say they
- 15:08Speaker 1: they look good. You know, they're fairly attractive. But they
- 15:11Speaker 1: say and they say they're not overly concerned with the
- 15:14Speaker 1: opinions of others about their looks. Okay, you can take
- 15:18Speaker 1: that clearly. This story is about Tommy. I don't really see.
- 15:23Speaker 1: We were had to go in the first because we
- 15:25Speaker 1: we've discussed the attractiveness before several times. Tommy is one
- 15:30Speaker 1: of the over people who find himself attracting. It's no, Steve,
- 15:36Speaker 1: I'm fine. That's the same thing attractive, being more. Find
- 15:46Speaker 1: more as in his mind, someone's attractive. But if you
- 15:51Speaker 1: say they're fine, why you don't want me to be fine?
- 15:56Speaker 1: Because you're not I don't see how you qualify, because
- 16:04Speaker 1: let's run down the list. First of all, to be fine,
- 16:09Speaker 1: damn near everybody, see you got to say that. That's
- 16:13Speaker 1: for start. Yeah see see listen, No, no, no, let
- 16:16Speaker 1: me tell you it's your mom. It's just nut and
- 16:20Speaker 1: then me I'm right there. Wait right, hold on, we're
- 16:27Speaker 1: doing hold of ladies. So let me give you a
- 16:30Speaker 1: short list of who he in front of. Denzel washed.
- 16:35Speaker 1: I was gonna hold on Denzel. He there because he
- 16:43Speaker 1: got skills. That's no, he didn't because he got skills,
- 16:47Speaker 1: and he and he walked the women like how he
- 16:49Speaker 1: walked swag. Understand when the last time some woman said
- 16:57Speaker 1: you show like the way you talk walk? Anybody ever
- 17:01Speaker 1: said they like where you are? Certainly do I not walk?
- 17:06Speaker 1: How hard she left? Get off the flood? How hard
- 17:12Speaker 1: she left? You can walk? Come on, Washington, President Obama
- 17:24Speaker 1: can walk. I'm gonna I'm gonna get breathe for me.
- 17:27Speaker 1: Can walk? You yeah, let me walk? No stop? Yeah
- 17:36Speaker 1: you heard Steve has a cool Steve saying we got
- 17:42Speaker 1: a wallet in his pocket. Then he could First of all,
- 17:45Speaker 1: I don't care wallet, that's how much money I got? Dang,
- 17:50Speaker 1: you open up now that's how much money. I know
- 17:58Speaker 1: your money, I can say, but you why would I
- 18:01Speaker 1: have a wallet? I can't fee it in? What are
- 18:06Speaker 1: you doing? But you got a while? He got money
- 18:11Speaker 1: for a while. But your poe over there. I don't
- 18:16Speaker 1: need a wallet, Tommy. It's meat. But don't add a wallet.
- 18:21Speaker 1: Don't put a wallet, Tommy, because that'll just add to it.
- 18:24Speaker 1: You don't want You don't have some money in my wallet.
- 18:27Speaker 1: You don't need that. I got money in my wallet.
- 18:30Speaker 1: Got he don't have a wallet food. Don't you understand
- 18:33Speaker 1: what I'm saying. If he puts If Tommy puts the
- 18:35Speaker 1: wallet in his back pocket, is just gonna add to it.
- 18:39Speaker 1: He didn't, You're gonna add myr comes the head. You
- 18:45Speaker 1: put the wallet in your back pocket, It's like having
- 18:48Speaker 1: a pole on the bike. Don't do it, Tommy. You
- 18:54Speaker 1: don't have a great walk. My walker is bad. I

- 23:46Speaker 1: here at middle school. And what's the name again, Mr Lanson? Mr? Okay?
- 23:52Speaker 1: Your your son? He attends middle school here? Am I correct? Okay?
- 23:57Speaker 1: Good listen. I'm the new principal here. We've just replaced
- 24:01Speaker 1: the last principle and I'm actually calling around. What I've
- 24:04Speaker 1: done is when I before I got here, I asked
- 24:07Speaker 1: for a list of students that were you know, I'm
- 24:10Speaker 1: not gonna say problem with kids, but you know that
- 24:12Speaker 1: kind of get themselves in a little trouble here and there.
- 24:15Speaker 1: And your son's name happens to be on the list. Yes,
- 24:20Speaker 1: I got about I got about thirty five kids that
- 24:22Speaker 1: are actually on this list, and your son is actually
- 24:27Speaker 1: on the list, and you are Mr Cotton, correct, I
- 24:30Speaker 1: am Mr Cotton? I mean are we are you show
- 24:32Speaker 1: you speaking about my son? Though? Um? Yeah, I mean
- 24:35Speaker 1: there's only there's only one on the list, sir. Um.
- 24:39Speaker 1: It's what's been given to me. And what what I'm
- 24:41Speaker 1: doing is calling around to all of the parents of
- 24:43Speaker 1: the kids that are on this list and letting you
- 24:46Speaker 1: guys know that I'm gonna be keeping a close eye
- 24:48Speaker 1: on them as well as uh, letting you know that
- 24:51Speaker 1: I'm gonna be reinstating corporal punishment here in the school.
- 24:54Speaker 1: So so what was that? That's actually where if your
- 24:58Speaker 1: son gets sent to the all which is my office,
- 25:01Speaker 1: then there will be paddling going on. Opposed to I
- 25:04Speaker 1: don't believe in I don't believe in attention. I don't
- 25:07Speaker 1: believe in suspension. I believe in you know, if we
- 25:10Speaker 1: spank these kids, we can get them back in order. So, sir,
- 25:15Speaker 1: here's my thing. I really truly believe that we get
- 25:17Speaker 1: back to you know, and I don't mean what I'm
- 25:19Speaker 1: about to say to be harsh, but if we're getting
- 25:21Speaker 1: back to beating, we'll get these kids back in order.
- 25:24Speaker 1: I mean, but I know he had trouble in English,
- 25:27Speaker 1: but I don't think that. No, no, no, this has
- 25:32Speaker 1: nothing to do with great, sir. This has to do
- 25:34Speaker 1: with punishment. And what I'm understanding is if your son
- 25:36Speaker 1: is on my list, and if your son comes down
- 25:39Speaker 1: to my office, I'm gonna take care of it right then.
- 25:41Speaker 1: And then if my son come your offer, you're gonna
- 25:44Speaker 1: be on my list. It's sir, I'm trying to get
- 25:47Speaker 1: these kids back in order, and that's the reason why
- 25:49Speaker 1: I've been brought in and I've replaced the last principle.
- 25:52Speaker 1: You understand. So what I need from you is to
- 25:54Speaker 1: get a get a great understanding that if your child
- 25:56Speaker 1: comes to my office, corporal punishment will be what he's
- 26:00Speaker 1: going to deal with. Okay, I'll tell you what. Let
- 26:02Speaker 1: my son come home and tell me he got some
- 26:05Speaker 1: corporal punishment, and the next morning me and You're gonna
- 26:07Speaker 1: do some corporal punishment. Sir, Do you want your child
- 26:10Speaker 1: in order or do you want to be boiling his
- 26:12Speaker 1: butt out of jail at the age's gonna be bailing
- 26:14Speaker 1: me out of jail if you put your hands on
- 26:17Speaker 1: my son. Okay, are you taking care of your son?
- 26:20Speaker 1: Punishment wise? At home? You need to my son don't
- 26:23Speaker 1: get trouble. Here's the problem, parents not believing that their
- 26:28Speaker 1: children get in any trouble. That's the first brother, I
- 26:31Speaker 1: got email, I got phone call. So the first phone
- 26:34Speaker 1: call I get this going straight tipping it ain't no
- 26:37Speaker 1: let us at home, ain't no email sit home saying
- 26:39Speaker 1: it's a problem. Sir, you know I'm gonna come down here.
- 26:44Speaker 1: I'm gonna tell you once again, I am not going
- 26:47Speaker 1: to have send your son to detention. I'm not gonna
- 26:50Speaker 1: call you. I'm gonna take care of my job. My
- 26:53Speaker 1: job is to make sure I'm gonna take care of mine.
- 26:55Speaker 1: When you take care of your, I'm gonna take care
- 26:57Speaker 1: of mine. And that's protect my son. And you put
- 26:59Speaker 1: your hands on him. Man, we got a problem. We're
- 27:02Speaker 1: gonna have a problem because I'm telling you right now,
- 27:04Speaker 1: I'm calling you and giving you the warning. Your son
- 27:07Speaker 1: will be dealt with and you're gonna be dead with.
- 27:10Speaker 1: We'll be dealt with on a regular basis. If needs
- 27:12Speaker 1: to be, You're gonna get dealt with on a regular
- 27:14Speaker 1: but you're gonna get tired of seeing me. Okay, sir,
- 27:17Speaker 1: do I need to actually have corporal punishment with you?
- 27:19Speaker 1: I'll tell you what when you do. When you bring
- 27:21Speaker 1: the corporal punishment to me, you better had the police
- 27:24Speaker 1: there because they're gonna need corporal punishment. They're gonna need
- 27:26Speaker 1: whatever hell they're gonna need to to you. When I
- 27:29Speaker 1: get down and you put your hands with my son,
- 27:31Speaker 1: I know that all I'm you know what, sir? Maybe
- 27:33Speaker 1: maybe maybe the swooping needs to start with you. It
- 27:37Speaker 1: has a matter of fact. What time do you go
- 27:39Speaker 1: to lunch? We can do this in front of capital
- 27:42Speaker 1: and let all the kids see the principle corporal punishment, Sir, sir,
- 27:47Speaker 1: I don't. I don't fear you personal because I want
- 27:51Speaker 1: you to stand in and take your like a man.
- 27:53Speaker 1: I don't want to chase your like no little school, sir, sir.
- 27:56Speaker 1: The bottom line is corporal punishment is being in stated.
- 28:00Speaker 1: Your son is gonna buy by. You're gonna have to
- 28:02Speaker 1: accept it, or maybe maybe you need to tell you
- 28:04Speaker 1: what you said you got thirty five names on your list,
- 28:06Speaker 1: it better be thirty cut name. But not being on
- 28:09Speaker 1: the corporal punishment list. I know that, sir. Listen, he's
- 28:13Speaker 1: not on a corporal punishment list. He's on a list
- 28:16Speaker 1: of kids that act up from time to time. Don't
- 28:19Speaker 1: act up. My son is a model stude. He got
- 28:21Speaker 1: a little trouble with English, you know, because his mom
- 28:24Speaker 1: a little slow. But that's I did that. You know
- 28:27Speaker 1: what I'm saying. You know what, Sometimes I feel like
- 28:29Speaker 1: I'm talking to the child right now, you're talking to
- 28:31Speaker 1: a grown man. And if you put your hands on
- 28:34Speaker 1: my son, you're gonna see that I'm a grown man.
- 28:36Speaker 1: When I come down, man, put my hands on my
- 28:40Speaker 1: then I guess it's gonna be a lot of kicking circuit.
- 28:42Speaker 1: It's gonna be something kicking, and you line them up
- 28:45Speaker 1: a system. Principal principle. If lady come down, man, if
- 28:50Speaker 1: she got something to say, you're gonna watch your tone.
- 28:52Speaker 1: You understand me, and you're gonna you're gonna take what
- 28:54Speaker 1: I'm telling you. I don't grown man, I don't care
- 28:57Speaker 1: what you're saying. Everybody's gonna buy. I put chains on
- 29:01Speaker 1: the door. I make sure putting chains. I think your name,
- 29:07Speaker 1: I'm Mr Lanson, and these kids are gonna bide by
- 29:10Speaker 1: what I want and so are the parents and you,
- 29:13Speaker 1: Mr Cotton, you're gonna have to toughen up and let
- 29:15Speaker 1: me do my job. I'll tell you what. Then you're
- 29:17Speaker 1: gonna do what you got to do today. But when
- 29:19Speaker 1: I get down there better had a police. When I
- 29:22Speaker 1: get there, I tell you else. I'm gonna have here.
- 29:24Speaker 1: If you tell me you're gonna down that, I'm gonna
- 29:27Speaker 1: have nephew timming from the Steve Harvey Morning Show, because
- 29:30Speaker 1: that's who I am. Your co workers, Silver, You've got
- 29:34Speaker 1: me to pray phone call you. I'm gonna tell you
- 29:40Speaker 1: what I'm gonna break. Can we get laid on that
- 29:46Speaker 1: down at the job where kids? Man? Let me boy,
- 29:57Speaker 1: I'm looking for my talking I whip you. Hey, listen,
- 30:02Speaker 1: I got one more thing to ask you, Mr. What's
- 30:06Speaker 1: the baddest radio show in the lane? Man? They okay,
- 30:10Speaker 1: they go to prank? What is t T Before the prank?
- 30:13Speaker 1: What does Steve say? I said, I want to come
- 30:17Speaker 1: in in the middle of what you look like. And
- 30:19Speaker 1: it was gonna start off as a compliment. It was
- 30:22Speaker 1: gonna end up where you need to be where were right,
- 30:26Speaker 1: where we wanted to. That's all I'm asking. What is
- 30:31Speaker 1: t t turtles? We gotta go to break tall turtles.
- 30:42Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Trump is
- 30:47Speaker 1: failing As President Trump was asked about his silence following
- 30:52Speaker 1: the killing of four Army Green Beret soldiers in Niger
- 30:55Speaker 1: on October four, that was about two weeks ago. The
- 30:58Speaker 1: president replied that he had personally taken the time to
- 31:01Speaker 1: write a letter to each one of their families and
- 31:04Speaker 1: that he would call them up at some point. He
- 31:07Speaker 1: went on to remark that President Obama never made it
- 31:10Speaker 1: a priority. Former Obama aids lashed out at Trump, including
- 31:14Speaker 1: former attorney Attorney General Eric Holder. Uh Holder tweeted, stopped
- 31:20Speaker 1: the dang lying your the president. I went to Dover
- 31:24Speaker 1: Air Force Base with forty four meaning President Obama, and
- 31:28Speaker 1: saw him comfort the families of both the fallen military
- 31:32Speaker 1: and the d e A. So, Steve, we talked about
- 31:35Speaker 1: this a little earlier. We touched on it. Why does
- 31:37Speaker 1: Trump feel the need to compare himself to his predecessors,
- 31:42Speaker 1: especially especially President Obama? Well, he's a lot. It comes
- 31:48Speaker 1: down to winning with this guy. President Trump is all
- 31:52Speaker 1: about winning and in nothing else matters. He's still discussing
- 31:57Speaker 1: the victory over Hillary Clinton. He's still talking about the
- 32:03Speaker 1: votes he got in Michigan, Wisconsin, and Pennsylvania. He can't
- 32:07Speaker 1: because he he understands it only that way. In business,
- 32:13Speaker 1: if you read his book, in the Art of the Deal,
- 32:17Speaker 1: the only thing that matters is winning, and you do
- 32:21Speaker 1: the Art of the Deal to win, to come out
- 32:23Speaker 1: on top. And one of the things that they do
- 32:26Speaker 1: in the Art of the Deal is they constantly remind
- 32:29Speaker 1: you of your assets. When you're dealing in business, you
- 32:32Speaker 1: have to remind the person that you're purchasing from or
- 32:35Speaker 1: selling to of all of your assets so that you
- 32:38Speaker 1: retain your value throughout the deal. And so I think
- 32:43Speaker 1: that's just the way he conducts life, man. And so
- 32:46Speaker 1: he'll go and no, he'll take any small thing. But
- 32:51Speaker 1: first of all, he was talking about the director of
- 32:53Speaker 1: FEMA the other day, gave him an a plus on
- 32:56Speaker 1: how he was handling the hurricane all of them. Well,
- 32:59Speaker 1: that was before Hurricane Maria. Because his approval when Rady
- 33:04Speaker 1: went down from over sixty of handling the hope or
- 33:07Speaker 1: the whole hurricane situation. Tapter Maria to down to drop.
- 33:14Speaker 1: And this is because but yesterday he was just on
- 33:19Speaker 1: news talking about he's gotten an A plus from the
- 33:21Speaker 1: director of female Yeah, yeah, he gave me any play.
- 33:25Speaker 1: And the guy was standing there next to him that
- 33:27Speaker 1: he just became friends with who he Mitch, Mitchell McConnell.
- 33:31Speaker 1: He was standing there looking at him like, I can't
- 33:34Speaker 1: believe you say that. And I mean he's talking about
- 33:37Speaker 1: how human Mitchell great friends and we pulled it together.
- 33:39Speaker 1: And that's not true either. But I mean, he just
- 33:43Speaker 1: talks about winning all the time to remind you of
- 33:47Speaker 1: the victory so you don't focus on any losses that
- 33:51Speaker 1: he may be going through right now. And I think
- 33:53Speaker 1: that's just his way of doing business. And he keeps
- 33:56Speaker 1: comparing himself to Obama like he's much better than him.
- 33:59Speaker 1: Hey man, you're know about forty five. You got the job.
- 34:01Speaker 1: You don't have to talk about forty You don't really
- 34:04Speaker 1: have to mention forty three. What you really have ship
- 34:07Speaker 1: focus on is being the greatest number forty five that
- 34:12Speaker 1: you can be, because you're the only forty five. That's
- 34:14Speaker 1: not a thing about being president. You're the only one
- 34:17Speaker 1: currently is president. So just be the best that keep trusting,
- 34:25Speaker 1: come along all the time. Whoa, you ain't gonna get
- 34:28Speaker 1: bought up a lot. Yeah yeah, it's still campaigning, seems
- 34:33Speaker 1: like to me, I don't don't understand this. Yeah yeah.
- 34:38Speaker 1: And then Senate Majority leaders Mitchmon, Yeah, that's what I
- 34:40Speaker 1: su that's Paul Ryan. Yeah, what do you say? Tommy's
- 34:47Speaker 1: all right, we gotta go. Come on, Steve, I can't
- 34:50Speaker 1: say that. Let's move us on. Coming from you, it's
- 34:52Speaker 1: really hurtful. Let's let's move on to miss Anne. Steve. Please,
- 34:56Speaker 1: I'm trying to show you, but that just keeps on.
- 35:00Speaker 1: Ladies and gentlemen, very own news reporter anchor who is
- 35:05Speaker 1: a phenomenal at her informative issues and facts, and she
- 35:09Speaker 1: does fact check and there is no false news. Ladies
- 35:13Speaker 1: and gentlemen like the president this and trip, thank you
- 35:18Speaker 1: very much. Guys, you and no fake news here. This
- 35:20Speaker 1: is a trip with the news everyone. A federal judge
- 35:22Speaker 1: in Hawaii has blocked the latest version of President Trump's
- 35:25Speaker 1: travel band. The new travel limits were to go into
- 35:27Speaker 1: effect today, but the judge ruled that Trump's executive order
- 35:31Speaker 1: likely violates the Immigration and Nationality Act, which bars discrimination
- 35:35Speaker 1: on the base of national origin. On Capitol Hill yesterday,
- 35:38Speaker 1: Republican Santa Lamar Alexander and Democrat Patty Mary say they
- 35:41Speaker 1: were close to a bipartisan deal to resume the federal
- 35:43Speaker 1: healthcare subsidist for poor consumers, the ones that President Trump
- 35:47Speaker 1: caught off last week. Cassanta Murray says, the situation is
- 35:50Speaker 1: crucial right now. Patients and families across our country are
- 35:53Speaker 1: looking at the harmful steps that President Trump has taken
- 35:57Speaker 1: to sabotage healthcare in our country. They're looking at their
- 36:00Speaker 1: bank accounts, and they're realizing if the President is allowed
- 36:03Speaker 1: to continue down the path he has headed on, they
- 36:06Speaker 1: are the ones that are going to pay the price.
- 36:08Speaker 1: Insurance companies and others have already warned the premiums are
- 36:10Speaker 1: gonna rise unless the cash assistance was restored. There are have, however,
- 36:14Speaker 1: some other unsolved issues. For instance, Republicans want the Congress
- 36:18Speaker 1: to give the states the flexibility to ease coverage under
- 36:21Speaker 1: the Affordable Care Act, for instance, allowing insurance companies not
- 36:24Speaker 1: to ensure the elderly if they don't want to, or
- 36:26Speaker 1: people with pre existing conditions, and then, of course the
- 36:28Speaker 1: House and Senate has to vote on any plan after
- 36:31Speaker 1: that spokespresion of President Obama you just heard, responded to
- 36:34Speaker 1: Donald Trump's claimed, as as he put it, unlike foreign presidents,
- 36:37Speaker 1: that he calls the families of fallen troops and blah blah.
- 36:40Speaker 1: Of course, the spokesperson Mr Obama said, the nation's first
- 36:42Speaker 1: black president engaged the families of fallen and wounded warriors
- 36:46Speaker 1: throughout his presidency. Calls, letters, visits to Section sixty at Arlington's,
- 36:50Speaker 1: visits to Walter Reed Hospital, visits Air Force Base, regular
- 36:53Speaker 1: means of gold Star families and all that, and even
- 36:55Speaker 1: an age of President Clinton called and responding, he says
- 36:58Speaker 1: Mr Clinton did call the families of the fallen. Meanwhile,
- 37:01Speaker 1: Florida Representative Frederica Wilson says she was listening on speaker
- 37:04Speaker 1: phone as President Trump called the pregnant widow of Sergeant
- 37:07Speaker 1: ly David Johnson to order his condolences and the Democratic
- 37:10Speaker 1: consim and says Trump started the call by telling the
- 37:13Speaker 1: young woman that Sergeant Johnson knew what he signed up for,
- 37:16Speaker 1: but when it happens to hurts anyway. This is a
- 37:18Speaker 1: soldier who gave his life for his country. He is
- 37:22Speaker 1: a hero in our minds, in our communities, minds. That
- 37:27Speaker 1: is an insult to the time Miami Gardens community, not
- 37:32Speaker 1: to me, not to mention that it was insensitive. Now
- 37:34Speaker 1: back to the Steve Hardy Morning Show, Eugene, the Butterfly
- 37:37Speaker 1: twenty this after the hour. You're listening to the Steve
- 37:40Speaker 1: Hardy Morning Show. Here we go, Steve, please introduced the
- 37:44Speaker 1: Butterfly Ladies and gentlemen. Eugene. I don't know you can
- 37:49Speaker 1: do a lot better than that. Come out, but that
- 37:51Speaker 1: was okay, Butterfly. Put y'all back into it. When you
- 37:55Speaker 1: bring me out, do it against me. Put y'all banking me.
- 37:57Speaker 1: Come out, dowe, Steve, did you just suck your teeth?
- 38:03Speaker 1: You wasted time? Butterfly, this is your segment. Don't always
- 38:09Speaker 1: because you got nothing to talk about. I do. I
- 38:13Speaker 1: always have something to talk about. Good morning, Stephen Shirley College.
- 38:16Speaker 1: I'm in time e Good morning to every one. But
- 38:22Speaker 1: you're not gonna suck your teeth when I say hello
- 38:24Speaker 1: to you. You're gonna speak to me like a man.
- 38:28Speaker 1: You do what you got big teeth and big limps,
- 38:33Speaker 1: and when you stuck about of them, it's not good.
- 38:35Speaker 1: Don't do that. It drowns everything out. Okay, it's sound
- 38:41Speaker 1: nothing on, Butterfly, Charley. It's very it's hard to work
- 38:49Speaker 1: on these conditions when your boss think you're not bringing
- 38:51Speaker 1: anything to the table. You don't. What are you saying?
- 38:55Speaker 1: Prove him wrong? He can't. This segment sucks if you
- 39:04Speaker 1: c on Butterfly, this cry. This is the third day.
- 39:12Speaker 1: But it's the way he treats me. It's just it,
- 39:14Speaker 1: just it. It's man, Will you go ahead, O she
- 39:25Speaker 1: still a gi girl. But why did they treat me
- 39:28Speaker 1: like that? How did they do that? Something? Butterfly. We're
- 39:32Speaker 1: trying to save you. Okay, Stephen, we're gonna fix this.
- 39:36Speaker 1: We're gonna fix it to date, Stephen, look me in
- 39:39Speaker 1: my eye, Butterfly, please look all right. I'm looking at
- 39:44Speaker 1: the top of your head. Look me in my eyes
- 39:47Speaker 1: and tell me just say this. This is gonna help us.
- 39:49Speaker 1: And he's like, exercise that guy from my counselor look
- 39:52Speaker 1: at me in my eyes and say, Eugene, I love you.
- 39:55Speaker 1: Say it. Say it so, Eugene, I love Yill. If
- 39:59Speaker 1: that's what you need to finish this, say how much
- 40:01Speaker 1: time he got left? Called not long. I'm gonna do
- 40:05Speaker 1: it over here. I love you, Steven and you should
- 40:13Speaker 1: because I pay you, I employ you, I tolerate you,
- 40:17Speaker 1: but provide you an opportunity to do a segment and
- 40:20Speaker 1: the whole damn segment. You just like the president. You
- 40:24Speaker 1: want everybody to like you. You damn Trump, You damn
- 40:32Speaker 1: if you would do your segment, just be the president.
- 40:35Speaker 1: You ain't got time for that. You're gonna say, you're
- 40:38Speaker 1: not me right now? Do you know your segments over? Butterfly?
- 40:43Speaker 1: I want to tell me, Um, here's a question for you,
- 40:48Speaker 1: swearing off sex for your job. We'll talk about it
- 40:51Speaker 1: when we come back. Hey, Loren's out at thirty four
- 40:54Speaker 1: after you're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Okay,
- 41:00Speaker 1: here we go. Some gossip sites reported that Dallas Cowboys
- 41:04Speaker 1: quarterback Dak Prescott is the latest athlete to take a
- 41:07Speaker 1: pledge of chastity in order to focus on sports. What
- 41:12Speaker 1: rumor has it that Prescott said he didn't want to
- 41:14Speaker 1: have sex until the Cowboys season was over, or at
- 41:18Speaker 1: least until they were mathematically eliminated from the playoffs. Yeah,
- 41:25Speaker 1: you heard me, You heard me. Until this season was
- 41:28Speaker 1: over or until they're eliminated from the playoffs mathematically. He says,
- 41:33Speaker 1: I've been having six while the Cowboys was playing. I've
- 41:38Speaker 1: been looking at the game in the same thing. We're talented. Well,
- 41:48Speaker 1: I congratulate him, good job, because I don't see what
- 41:52Speaker 1: is for I mean, all right, listen now, if these
- 41:55Speaker 1: rumors about about Dak Prescott are true, he's not the
- 41:59Speaker 1: first hype high profile athletes to swear of, um, you know,
- 42:03Speaker 1: having sex. What's the guy from the Lakers? Remember that
- 42:06Speaker 1: back in the day. This date is still okay? Now,
- 42:12Speaker 1: Floyd Mayweather refused to have sex before fighting Connor McGregor.
- 42:17Speaker 1: How long was that gap? Russell? He owned a strip club?
- 42:21Speaker 1: How long was that? He's not having sex at the club.
- 42:24Speaker 1: Why is you owning the script club when you ain't
- 42:26Speaker 1: dying there having sex? What? What is you owning it?
- 42:31Speaker 1: Why do you own a strip club if you ain't
- 42:33Speaker 1: dying there having Okay, now, I know, I know I
- 42:37Speaker 1: make sense in that. But at the club though, but
- 42:45Speaker 1: you own it everybody naked? Why you ain't in that naked?
- 42:50Speaker 1: What what's the purpose of owning the strip club if
- 42:52Speaker 1: you ain't gonna be down that naked with anybody else?
- 42:55Speaker 1: Surely I make sense to take somebody What is the
- 42:59Speaker 1: story that you Okay, thank you. I like I said,
- 43:02Speaker 1: Floyd Mayweather didn't have sex before fighting. Connor McGregor. Russell
- 43:06Speaker 1: Wilson famously swore off sex before his marriage to Sierra. Yeah,
- 43:13Speaker 1: he just don't know how to addle, that's all. He
- 43:16Speaker 1: had to wait. He was trying to figure it out,
- 43:18Speaker 1: that's all. Are you crazy? Yeah? I think he is.
- 43:22Speaker 1: I think today's of the day. So I need to
- 43:25Speaker 1: ask the guys. I think we already know sex for really,
- 43:32Speaker 1: when Steve, did we know you? Then? No? I was younger,
- 43:35Speaker 1: I was locked up, but as soon as you got out,
- 43:41Speaker 1: what happens? I was a hunting forty eight pounds. I
- 43:44Speaker 1: decided probably wouldn't be junior, the young one? What about you?
- 43:55Speaker 1: Before and three hours I had to go to the
- 43:58Speaker 1: show when I got bad back back break off? Should
- 44:06Speaker 1: I have done? I have done for the eight hours,
- 44:08Speaker 1: and that's called I missed my flight, but I did
- 44:10Speaker 1: for the eight So that's just really, really really, let's
- 44:15Speaker 1: ask this question right here. What's the longest a period
- 44:19Speaker 1: of time you've gone without sexual in what? Yeah, that
- 44:25Speaker 1: was s sales or something. Must be as long as
- 44:30Speaker 1: you've gone without six days? Six maybe five? It was?
- 44:37Speaker 1: It was five days and some change. But yeah, six days,
- 44:40Speaker 1: what happened? Why? How did what happened? Why? I missed
- 44:44Speaker 1: my flight so I couldn't get for a week. Yeah
- 44:48Speaker 1: I couldn't. Yeah, I couldn't get home. Oh this was
- 44:53Speaker 1: since you've been married? Ye? What about you? Is that?
- 45:00Speaker 1: We probably this ignorant show. I'm so sorry host eight
- 45:10Speaker 1: weeks Steve, why you must been using the colonel was
- 45:15Speaker 1: out the country? You know what? Nobody else, Tommy, damn,
- 45:22Speaker 1: my wife was out the country. Nobody in the country. Yeah,
- 45:29Speaker 1: let's see what I'm not gonna do. I'm not giving
- 45:33Speaker 1: nobody that pian to stick, all right? Uh. The ignorance
- 45:38Speaker 1: continues on the show. Coming up next, Nephew's prank phone call.
- 45:42Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show, coming up
- 45:46Speaker 1: at the top of the hour, right about four minutes
- 45:48Speaker 1: after today's strawberry letter. You do not want to miss that.
- 45:50Speaker 1: But first, the Nephews on tap yet again with this
- 45:54Speaker 1: prank phone call. What you got, Well, what you're gonna
- 45:57Speaker 1: depe on? What you want? You know? I mean, y'all, y'all,
- 46:00Speaker 1: how you wanted double stupid, just low stupid or just
- 46:04Speaker 1: stupid on ice stupid? You know I go for stupid
- 46:08Speaker 1: on ice every time. Okay, cool stupid on ice. Chopper's
- 46:12Speaker 1: funeral at the club, that's when you want to have
- 46:15Speaker 1: your boy funeral at the club, because that's where y'all
- 46:18Speaker 1: used to be choppers at the clue. But do you
- 46:22Speaker 1: know what, Carl, I'm there with you because you don't
- 46:24Speaker 1: think I'm sexy and no formal fast that's you should
- 46:28Speaker 1: be through with me, Junior. Why I shouldn't be attractive
- 46:33Speaker 1: to you and Junior but for Calumnock, you run the prank.
- 46:40Speaker 1: I don't see what the big dannybody. Shut up, Junior.
- 46:43Speaker 1: Here the prank. Y'all trying to reach your James James, Yeah, yeah,
- 46:52Speaker 1: what's up? Hey? This this is Gerald. I was a
- 46:56Speaker 1: friend of uh, your friend Chopper. Yeah, and the Choppler
- 47:02Speaker 1: just uh passed away last week, right. I know they
- 47:08Speaker 1: posed how the funeral and stuff over at uh at
- 47:10Speaker 1: my Baptist church and uh, I don't really know you
- 47:14Speaker 1: but me, me and me and Choppola and a bunch
- 47:16Speaker 1: of rest of us. Man, we used to hang out
- 47:18Speaker 1: at the club not too far from the house. You know.
- 47:21Speaker 1: That's pretty much with choppol World all the time. And
- 47:24Speaker 1: at the club. Any way, what a bunch of us
- 47:26Speaker 1: was over at the club talking man, and I was,
- 47:29Speaker 1: we was really when he reached out to one of
- 47:31Speaker 1: the family members, you know, and then somebody said you was,
- 47:33Speaker 1: you know, kind of a good friend of Hells And
- 47:37Speaker 1: when we we we we decided to call you and
- 47:39Speaker 1: see if you didn't mind. Do you think that you
- 47:43Speaker 1: can talk to uh, some of the family members and
- 47:48Speaker 1: see if they don't mind having the funeral at the club.
- 47:54Speaker 1: At the club, we see what let me let me
- 47:57Speaker 1: try to explain something to you, Jane. What we're trying
- 48:00Speaker 1: to do is, see, we believe that we believe you
- 48:04Speaker 1: said at the club, come on the club, there's a funeral.
- 48:08Speaker 1: And that's what I understand it. But see, see chop
- 48:12Speaker 1: Chopper ain't really go to church a whole lot, you
- 48:14Speaker 1: know what I'm saying. He didn't really really go long
- 48:16Speaker 1: as I've been knowing it now. He loved a lord
- 48:19Speaker 1: and stuff like that, folks. But I understand, but see,
- 48:25Speaker 1: choppol wouldn't Choppola one Chopper went to the club. So
- 48:29Speaker 1: what I'm asking you will less how the funeral at
- 48:32Speaker 1: the club? Hell, no, bro, come on, we can't have
- 48:36Speaker 1: no funeral at no club man, come on, no, no, okay.
- 48:41Speaker 1: But but what what I'm saying is, though, is that
- 48:43Speaker 1: he wasn't really he wasn't really no church going person.
- 48:47Speaker 1: I believe that a person ought to be uh, the
- 48:51Speaker 1: last words are to be said over him in a
- 48:54Speaker 1: place he's more familiar with. You know what I'm saying? No,
- 48:58Speaker 1: I don't. I don't know what you mean? Playout now,
- 49:01Speaker 1: just just gotta be a funeral. This, this is this
- 49:03Speaker 1: is church for I go to church, and all my
- 49:05Speaker 1: folks go to church. Now we we we gotta do
- 49:07Speaker 1: this thing up in church. This is a church thing.
- 49:09Speaker 1: But you don't, you don't feel But do you understand
- 49:11Speaker 1: where I'm coming from? No, that man ought to going
- 49:13Speaker 1: on and and the last words are to be in
- 49:15Speaker 1: a place he mode familiar with. Now, if he went
- 49:17Speaker 1: to church, then I understand that. You see broll No, no,
- 49:22Speaker 1: see this his chance to get this stuff right. And
- 49:25Speaker 1: we're gonna we're gonna have him up in church in
- 49:27Speaker 1: front of everybody. You know that don't make sense? Who's
- 49:31Speaker 1: this again? I mean, who are you? My name is Gerald?
- 49:34Speaker 1: But who is Gerald? I mean? How do you? How
- 49:37Speaker 1: do you relate to this? Are you preacher or you no, no, no, no, no, no,
- 49:42Speaker 1: I'm I'm I was friends with Chopper. And see I
- 49:44Speaker 1: hung out at the club and still hang out there
- 49:47Speaker 1: with a whole bunch of you know, was real good
- 49:50Speaker 1: friends with Chopping, and we were saying that, you know Chopper,
- 49:54Speaker 1: the last words about Chopper are to be said at
- 49:57Speaker 1: the club because see, that's what chopperla would but five
- 49:59Speaker 1: six days, that's what Chopper was. But what church are
- 50:03Speaker 1: you affiliated with? I mean, what, what? Why the hell
- 50:05Speaker 1: would I I I try to talk to the family,
- 50:08Speaker 1: make me look stupid in front of the family, telling
- 50:10Speaker 1: them to put the thing in the club. How that's
- 50:13Speaker 1: gonna go off? We'll see. See, that's what I'm saying.
- 50:15Speaker 1: You know him way more than we do, because you're
- 50:18Speaker 1: talking about trying to move from a damn funeral add
- 50:21Speaker 1: a church to a damn nightclub or strip club or something.
- 50:24Speaker 1: Not no strip club, just a nightclub. It's the same, man,
- 50:27Speaker 1: ain't it. I Mean you're talking about having folks traveled
- 50:31Speaker 1: from across the country and meeting into the damn club.
- 50:34Speaker 1: What kind of that? But that's what Chopper was. That's
- 50:37Speaker 1: what Chopper was. I'm gonna look if I'm the one
- 50:41Speaker 1: telling them to rooted to the damn club. You're gonna
- 50:44Speaker 1: look like somebody that's trying to I'm gonna look like
- 50:46Speaker 1: a fool. No, you're not. You're gonna look like somebody's
- 50:48Speaker 1: trying to keep it real. Mean, come to the damn
- 50:51Speaker 1: funeral if I will do something like that. Okay, okay,
- 50:53Speaker 1: let me ask you this hitty. Let me ask you
- 50:55Speaker 1: this year or Jane, do you think do you think
- 50:58Speaker 1: you can maybe get the body and bring it over
- 51:02Speaker 1: to the club. Well, I'm just saying before they even
- 51:07Speaker 1: do the funeral or whatever, I ain't touching getting the
- 51:11Speaker 1: walk in the dog by myself body for him. Now,
- 51:16Speaker 1: we're just trying to say our last words at chopper
- 51:19Speaker 1: Man in a place that chopper no him again? Who
- 51:23Speaker 1: do you you get my number? Somebody at the club
- 51:26Speaker 1: had your number, said you was printed. But why do
- 51:29Speaker 1: y'all call me? Of all folks call me, they say
- 51:33Speaker 1: you good? You in with the family, and you can
- 51:35Speaker 1: tell me the family. But I ain't end in the family.
- 51:38Speaker 1: Make me look stupid? Hell now, won't y'all I get
- 51:41Speaker 1: all of them to the family. Y'all call the family,
- 51:44Speaker 1: y'all tell them that yourself man, I won't. I just
- 51:47Speaker 1: want trying to get you to brain the body by
- 51:49Speaker 1: man and let us no, I ain't touching. No, we
- 51:52Speaker 1: just want to have one last drink with Chopper. Man,
- 51:55Speaker 1: have one with your boys and you get together with them,
- 51:59Speaker 1: and y'all talk about bottom and let him on a
- 52:02Speaker 1: chopped one. What kind of prison would what kind of
- 52:04Speaker 1: person we need to We won't chop up to be there?
- 52:08Speaker 1: This Chopper, This is Chopper you're talking about? Man to
- 52:12Speaker 1: the church, y'all need to be up in the church.
- 52:15Speaker 1: We want to have a Chopper at the club. Well,
- 52:17Speaker 1: we don't know him, man, y'all full of well we
- 52:20Speaker 1: know my club and looking like a fool at the
- 52:23Speaker 1: damn funeral? What this about Chopper though? And then I'm
- 52:26Speaker 1: writing about Chopper. You'll break Chopper to that club, y'all tripping? Man,
- 52:31Speaker 1: I ain't doing. I'm just going to this funeral. I
- 52:34Speaker 1: don't gonna tere to say what I think about chopping.
- 52:36Speaker 1: And I'm going if y'all want to crazy in front
- 52:39Speaker 1: of town of y'all call the town of y'all selling
- 52:40Speaker 1: you this. Look, I got one more thing I want
- 52:43Speaker 1: to see. I don't even know you what what what
- 52:47Speaker 1: that's this? Nephew, Timmy from the Steve Harvey and Martin Show.
- 52:51Speaker 1: You just got pragged by your board? You tripping this, nephew?
- 53:00Speaker 1: You tip me? Man from the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 53:02Speaker 1: Your boy told me to prank you. I just know
- 53:10Speaker 1: James this his nephew. Ti. No, no, oh man, I
- 53:17Speaker 1: can't believe this. No, he didn't. I can't even believe
- 53:21Speaker 1: he did that. Hey man, I got one more thing
- 53:23Speaker 1: to ask you, man, what is what is the baddest
- 53:27Speaker 1: radio show in the land? The Steve Harvey Moaning Show? Okay,
- 53:37Speaker 1: first of all, wasn't Frank funding stupid? Don't let's get
- 53:44Speaker 1: back to at can Monica get on the mic and
- 53:46Speaker 1: just maybe Monica an't do? Was the one Monica you
- 53:49Speaker 1: get on the mic? Please? Can you turn my Monica's
- 53:52Speaker 1: mike on? Cat Please? Monica, don't leave me out here
- 53:55Speaker 1: like this. Monica you there, Yes, sir, good morning, Good
- 54:00Speaker 1: morning to you. This is Mississippi Monica, everybody Morning show produce. Um,
- 54:04Speaker 1: go ahead, Tommy, you can ask. Okay, Monica, Uh, we've
- 54:09Speaker 1: how are you good? You're looking at you? You're beautiful.
- 54:12Speaker 1: I just want to tell you that. Um. But we've
- 54:15Speaker 1: had a little debate today about if I'm attractive or
- 54:18Speaker 1: if I'm not attractive, and Monica, am I attractive to you?
- 54:24Speaker 1: I like your personality that you are, but ugly pity
- 54:38Speaker 1: you ain't got a hib she liked my personality. Yeah,
- 54:47Speaker 1: all right, Coming up next, we're gonna talk about Colin
- 54:49Speaker 1: Kaepernick's collusion case against the NFL, and another crazy strawberry
- 54:55Speaker 1: letter is on deck. You're listening to the Steve Harvey
- 54:58Speaker 1: Morning Show. Coming up next today's strawberry letter. But before
- 55:02Speaker 1: we get to the letter, Colin Kaepernick, I'm sure you
- 55:05Speaker 1: guys have heard about this by now has started. Uh,
- 55:08Speaker 1: the national anthem protests that are now rolling the NFL. Uh.
- 55:13Speaker 1: He hasn't been signed by a team since you all
- 55:17Speaker 1: know that. Uh. In a grievance filed against the league,
- 55:19Speaker 1: he alleges that NFL teams colluded not to sign him
- 55:23Speaker 1: due to his controversial protests. Kaepernick made fourteen point three
- 55:27Speaker 1: million dollars with the San Francisco forty Niners back in
- 55:30Speaker 1: two thousand and sixteen. The contract would have paid him
- 55:33Speaker 1: sixteen point nine million this season, but he would be
- 55:37Speaker 1: cut before he got that money and became a free agent.
- 55:40Speaker 1: Kaepernick had good reason to believe he'd get signed by
- 55:43Speaker 1: another team. There were no offers, no offers. The Cleveland
- 55:48Speaker 1: Brownson and called Colin Kaepernick is beyond me. We don't
- 55:56Speaker 1: have a quarterback. We just benched a young boy from
- 55:59Speaker 1: Notre Dame that we bought in. We passed on Deshaun Watson.
- 56:04Speaker 1: That's and then the Shaun Watson came in and picked
- 56:09Speaker 1: us apart last Sunday he deserved were taken full fledg stupidity.
- 56:19Speaker 1: You have got to swallow your pride. Did not the
- 56:23Speaker 1: owner Dan Gilbert of the Cleveland Cavaliers, did he not
- 56:28Speaker 1: take Lebron James back after he swore when he went
- 56:33Speaker 1: to Miami, we will win the championship before Miami he
- 56:37Speaker 1: knew that wasn't then he's all a chance to bring
- 56:41Speaker 1: the championship back? Did he not? And did Cleveland not
- 56:45Speaker 1: welcome him back with open arms? They did? They burn
- 56:48Speaker 1: the jerseys and we lost every time we played in football.
- 56:54Speaker 1: Is Colin Kaepernick not I damn quarterback? That's why he's
- 57:00Speaker 1: to win the NFL is collusion. But the problem is
- 57:03Speaker 1: he not gonna get nothing. You don't think you don't
- 57:06Speaker 1: think so? Yeah, you gotta prove that you don't think
- 57:09Speaker 1: you don't. Yeah, we did that. Yeah, well they're going
- 57:16Speaker 1: before an arbitrator, and um, if the arbitrator hearing the
- 57:20Speaker 1: case decides in Kaepernick's favor, Kaepernick stands to win millions
- 57:24Speaker 1: in lost wages and damages. But like you say, Steve,
- 57:26Speaker 1: it is very very hard to prove. And then I
- 57:31Speaker 1: also heard them talking that Kaepernick will be uh thirty
- 57:36Speaker 1: next month or next week or something. He's coming up
- 57:38Speaker 1: on thirty. And then they're trying to make his age
- 57:41Speaker 1: a big deal now, so you know, it's like Tom
- 57:45Speaker 1: Brady forty. I know that's what somebody said. But tom
- 57:47Speaker 1: Brady's forty exactly. So was Brett Farve six? I think
- 57:57Speaker 1: drawn so secured commercial why he was playing? Yeah, and
- 58:06Speaker 1: Aaron Rodgers is hurt, right, isn't he out? Yeah? His
- 58:11Speaker 1: co is broke. Yeah, but they said the head coach
- 58:14Speaker 1: for the Packers said he is not. He shut that
- 58:17Speaker 1: down there their secred stary and quarterback knows the system
- 58:24Speaker 1: really well in Green Bay. Did you hear the GM
- 58:29Speaker 1: of the Packerson is that he said that that the
- 58:33Speaker 1: offense is too complicated, it takes it minimal at least
- 58:36Speaker 1: three years to learn this offense. Well, they were saying
- 58:41Speaker 1: that just to keep competing from signing, but they were
- 58:44Speaker 1: they were saying that when Aaron Rodgers went down, that's
- 58:46Speaker 1: why they got to go to this guy that's been
- 58:48Speaker 1: on that bench because he knows to playbooks so well.
- 58:52Speaker 1: The problem is the Cleveland Browns him and the reason
- 58:59Speaker 1: that Cleveland Browns won't make an offer to him, it's
- 59:02Speaker 1: because we don't have a single superstar on the team
- 59:07Speaker 1: that can go into the owner on behalf of the
- 59:09Speaker 1: locker room and say, look, we've discussed this, we're perfectly
- 59:13Speaker 1: fine with him coming, but we want to win. Could
- 59:16Speaker 1: you get him because we don't have a star. Spike
- 59:19Speaker 1: Lee said something about that a couple of weeks ago
- 59:22Speaker 1: when he was talking when they did that panel with
- 59:24Speaker 1: them Anderson Cooper. He said that he what he would
- 59:28Speaker 1: like to see is someone um who would who would
- 59:32Speaker 1: take a chance on Kaepernick like um they did when
- 59:35Speaker 1: Jackie Robinson first came into the baseball league. That was
- 59:38Speaker 1: a chance that man took him. It was a big risk. Yeah,
- 59:42Speaker 1: Like when he took that risk to to bring you know,
- 59:45Speaker 1: Jackie Robinson in as the first African American. He said
- 59:48Speaker 1: he wants to see something like that happen in football
- 59:51Speaker 1: with Colin Kaepernick. Steve brought me into radio. It was
- 59:55Speaker 1: a big risk. Okay, Tommy, that thought, baby, and take
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: us to the letter place. Were holding thoughts when I
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: say something profound? I didn't say mostly because your profound
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: thoughts ain't worth here and the rest of so holding
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: him is a good idea to give everybody's mind a break.
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: Time for the letter. Buckle up and hold on tight.
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: Here it is Strawberry letter. Subject of the letter. Should
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: I get my man back? Hello Steve in the morning crew.
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: I have a huge problem. I dated a married man
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: for several months. We had a wonderful time together. We
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: were able to date each other because we're in the
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: military and he was stationed in the same place as
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: I was, and his wife lived in a different state.
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: She is this high powered executive and refused to relocate
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: for her man because she wouldn't make the same kind
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: of money in a different location. Big mistake. That's where
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: I came in. He was lonely and I was there.
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: We had a wonderful time together and even professed our
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: love for each other. Everything was great until his wife
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: came into town unexpectedly, and she decided that her man
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: needed to be where she was. I love her put
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: in a request to be transferred to her area, and
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: the military approved it. I tried everything to break their
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: marriage up before he left me. I wrote his wife's
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: and her pictures of us, confronted her and try to
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: fight her, and professed my love for her husband. Still
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: she remained with my man. He is mine. He told
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: me he loved me, and I believed him. I think
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: his wife used voodoo to get him to be with her.
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: I am thinking of doing the same to get my
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: man back. I miss him so much. He has been
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: gone for several months now and refuses to accept my
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: calls or emails. He told me to leave him alone,
- 1:01:59Speaker 1: that what we did was a mistake. He and his
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: wife are going to counseling to work on the marriage,
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: and he is happier than he's ever been. I don't
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: believe this. He is only saying this because his wife
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: put him up to it. He told me he was
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: going to leave his wife for me. I just want
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: to make that happen. He is mine. How could he
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: say he never loved me and we were a mistake?
- 1:02:23Speaker 1: Not my man. He would never say that. My question
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: is should I use voodoo to get my man back
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: from that crazy woman who took him away? I love
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: him and I miss him, he signed, angry mistress. This
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: is one of those crazy ones told the minutes after. Yeah,
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: you're listening to the Steven Show. All right, come on,
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: stay with your response to part two of today's Strawberry Letters.
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: Let's go. Should I get my man back? Is designant letter.
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: Hello Stephen the Morning Crew. I have a huge problem
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: my day to the married man. For several months, we
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: had a wonderful time together. We were able to date
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: each other because we were in the We are in
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: the military, and he was stationed in the same place
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: I was, and his wife lived in a different state.
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: She's a high power executive. He used to locate for
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: her man because she wouldn't make the same kind of
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: money in a different location. Big mistake. That's why I
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: came in. See he was lonely and I was there.
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: We had a wonderful time together and even professed our
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: love for each other. Everything was great until his wife
- 1:03:36Speaker 1: came into town all unexpectedly, and she decided that her
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: man needed to be where she was my love. Them
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: put in a request to be transferred to her area,
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: and the military proved it. I tried everything to break
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: their marriage up before he left me, I wrote his wife,
- 1:03:53Speaker 1: sent her pictures of us, confronted her, and tried to
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: fight her and profess my love for her husband. Still
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: she remained with my man. He is mine. He told
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: me he loved me, and I believed him. I think
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: his wife you voodoo get him back with her. I'm
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: thinking of doing the same thing to get my man back.
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: I miss him so much. He has been gone for
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: several months now and refuse it to accept my calls
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: or emails. He told me leave him alone. That's what
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: we did was a mistake. He and his wife are
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: going to counseling where God they magic say he happier
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: than he ever being. I don't believe that he's only
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: saying this because his wife put him up to it.
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: He told me he was gonna leave his wife for me,
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: and I just want to make that happen. He is mine.
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: How could he say he never loved me and we
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: were a mistake, not my man. He would never say that.
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: My question is should I use voodoo to get my
- 1:04:48Speaker 1: man back from that crazy woman who took him away.
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: I love him and miss him. Angry mistress, Dear angry mistress,
- 1:04:56Speaker 1: did you really call his wife a crazy woman? You
- 1:04:59Speaker 1: know what, what the heck does that make you? You
- 1:05:02Speaker 1: are a fatal attraction sending his wife pictures trying to
- 1:05:05Speaker 1: fight her, all of that crazy mess. What do you
- 1:05:07Speaker 1: think was supposed to happen? This is his wife? Okay,
- 1:05:11Speaker 1: everything that you guys had, everything that you guys talked
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: about when you were intimate, All that's over. Okay. He
- 1:05:17Speaker 1: told you out of his own mouth after he realized
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: that you were crazy to leave him alone. And you
- 1:05:22Speaker 1: guys were a mistake. So why don't you do that?
- 1:05:25Speaker 1: Go away, it's over. Leave this man alone before you
- 1:05:28Speaker 1: end up like Glenn Close in the movie for Real,
- 1:05:31Speaker 1: And you know she ended up. You know what happened
- 1:05:34Speaker 1: to her? Shot in the bathtub? You remember that killed dead? Yeah?
- 1:05:41Speaker 1: All I want to say, let's just start anywhere in
- 1:05:43Speaker 1: this letter. Y'all are ready and crazy. I tried everything
- 1:05:48Speaker 1: to break their marriage up before he left me. First
- 1:05:51Speaker 1: of all, before I do that. She's a hot powered
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: executive refused to relocate with her man because she would
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: make same kind of money, dude, big mistake. That's where
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: I came in. See refer to yourself from now on
- 1:06:04Speaker 1: as that's where I had the home record. See, I
- 1:06:08Speaker 1: always know who you are. Please lift yourself in the
- 1:06:12Speaker 1: proper category. Know that you are a home record. Okay,
- 1:06:17Speaker 1: now let's go home record. You did everything to break
- 1:06:21Speaker 1: their marriage up. See that's what home wreckers do, you say.
- 1:06:27Speaker 1: I tried everything break their marriage up. I wrote his wife,
- 1:06:31Speaker 1: sending her pigeons of us, confronted her, and even tried
- 1:06:35Speaker 1: to fight her. That's the point I needed. How you
- 1:06:40Speaker 1: try to fight somebody without fighting? What happen? What happened
- 1:06:45Speaker 1: when you try to fight her? Let me let me
- 1:06:49Speaker 1: tell you how that went on. High powered exact that
- 1:06:51Speaker 1: you didn't really know. Came to town. Found out the
- 1:06:54Speaker 1: girl a little bit thicker than your thought. She's about
- 1:06:58Speaker 1: five seven, had a thing together in the gym. Nice.
- 1:07:02Speaker 1: She thick, but she nice though. She had a little
- 1:07:04Speaker 1: Aunt Taylor suit on and it was fitting, kind of snug,
- 1:07:08Speaker 1: had the little creakles right up under the butt creep.
- 1:07:10Speaker 1: That's when you know the dress is just one size
- 1:07:12Speaker 1: a little bit too tight. But she had them nice,
- 1:07:15Speaker 1: and them nice calf muscles on it that made a
- 1:07:18Speaker 1: leg stand up in them pumps and made her look strong. Well,
- 1:07:21Speaker 1: when you ran up on thick thing and you was
- 1:07:23Speaker 1: thinking about fighting her where you realize you might get
- 1:07:27Speaker 1: your ass, That's when you said, oh, I can't fight. Uh,
- 1:07:32Speaker 1: this could be the death of me. I saw a
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: woman like this climb over the wall just last week
- 1:07:38Speaker 1: and basic training look just like her. You couldn't whoop her.
- 1:07:41Speaker 1: So what made you think you was gonna try to
- 1:07:44Speaker 1: fight her? Now, let's get down to it. You're thinking
- 1:07:48Speaker 1: about using food. Come on, lady, let's go over some
- 1:07:52Speaker 1: of the voodoo things you might want to try to
- 1:07:55Speaker 1: get your man back. You can hang chickens all around
- 1:07:58Speaker 1: the bedroom if you want. You can freshly cut their
- 1:08:02Speaker 1: heads off and hear their bodies running around and chatting.
- 1:08:08Speaker 1: You can do whatever you want to do. You can
- 1:08:11Speaker 1: put a pit bull Paul in the chicken side. Try that.
- 1:08:16Speaker 1: I heard that make a man stay. Maybe you can
- 1:08:18Speaker 1: hang your pennies on the ostrich neck while the ostrich
- 1:08:24Speaker 1: is sitting on the egg on the sarin get it,
- 1:08:27Speaker 1: I heard that can help get your man. Maybe you
- 1:08:32Speaker 1: can suck on the crawfish head while you sipping on
- 1:08:36Speaker 1: pigeon pee. Maybe that gets your man back. I don't
- 1:08:40Speaker 1: really know too much voodoo myself. I'm just coming up
- 1:08:43Speaker 1: with what I think can get you. Maybe you can
- 1:08:47Speaker 1: get on your knees and pray facing the east with
- 1:08:50Speaker 1: an alligator locked on your butt. Try that that is.
- 1:08:55Speaker 1: I don't know. I'm just trying to help you. Maybe
- 1:08:58Speaker 1: you can fill up on box with his teeth in it.
- 1:09:02Speaker 1: I don't know what you're gonna do. I'm just trying
- 1:09:05Speaker 1: to come up with. Thank you, Steve. You know we
- 1:09:12Speaker 1: gotta go email or instagram us your thoughts on today's

- 1:16:50Speaker 1: why would they? Ain't nobody done it at your church?
- 1:16:53Speaker 1: Is he insane? What? What mean? What? So you ain't
- 1:16:56Speaker 1: saved if you? Hey man, let me ask you a question. Man,
- 1:17:03Speaker 1: I can't you have any limits? No? Do you even

- 1:17:23Speaker 1: you're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. So we
- 1:17:27Speaker 1: have three Houstonians on this show. We have Tommy and Jr.
- 1:17:32Speaker 1: And two of them are crazy and Steve is here
- 1:17:35Speaker 1: to introduce them in. It's time for right or wrong? Steve,
- 1:17:40Speaker 1: you be the judge. Let's go all right, Tommy, let's
- 1:17:43Speaker 1: go all right? Me or Junior didn't had that? And
- 1:17:47Speaker 1: we of course I'm on the Me and Junior didn't
- 1:17:51Speaker 1: had that? Okay, So tell me this. Black people where glasses?
- 1:17:59Speaker 1: Don't they? Yeah? Don't they wear dog glasses? Okay? So
- 1:18:06Speaker 1: I told Junior I like the fact that blind people
- 1:18:10Speaker 1: wear glasses because at least I know who they are.
- 1:18:14Speaker 1: Shouldn't deaf people wear your mussle? At least I know? Okay,
- 1:18:23Speaker 1: you can't hear me. At least I know that you
- 1:18:25Speaker 1: know what I'm saying. When I see a blind person
- 1:18:28Speaker 1: with glass, I say, Okay, blind, you don't know what's
- 1:18:30Speaker 1: gonna You know what I'm saying. But that's ignorant because
- 1:18:34Speaker 1: a lot of people that's not blind, Timmy, were the
- 1:18:37Speaker 1: same kind of glasses. But why do black juniors? Right next,
- 1:18:43Speaker 1: but why do blind people have glass? They're not finn
- 1:18:46Speaker 1: look through them. You know what I'm saying. But why
- 1:18:50Speaker 1: would the deaf person wear at least that it notifies
- 1:18:55Speaker 1: me that you can't hear? Why are you the only
- 1:18:58Speaker 1: person to need for deaf person? Okay, so here once
- 1:19:04Speaker 1: you started talking to him and they don't say nothing,
- 1:19:06Speaker 1: but they don't react to Okay. If athletes get athletes feet,
- 1:19:14Speaker 1: shouldn't then astronaut get missile to do I'm doing it.
- 1:19:28Speaker 1: Shouldn't an astronaut get missile exactly? Okay, but you're cute
- 1:19:38Speaker 1: like you did? You didn't you didn't play ball before
- 1:19:41Speaker 1: you was a boxing you didn't got a child at
- 1:19:43Speaker 1: holf Yeah, but what do a heartskin? You see? You know?
- 1:19:50Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying. Like in the Kentucky Derby,
- 1:19:57Speaker 1: I mean, yeah, you're in the Kentucky Derby. Hearts put up?
- 1:20:00Speaker 1: What did he get? You don't get? You don't get
- 1:20:05Speaker 1: a horse? I mean, what do you get? Okay? Okay, okay, okay,
- 1:20:14Speaker 1: three three for three? Why didn't you say anything? I'm
- 1:20:21Speaker 1: just asking legitimate? Okay. If an orange is an orange,
- 1:20:32Speaker 1: then why is a lime, not green, But why we
- 1:20:36Speaker 1: don't call it a green? Give me a green green already?
- 1:20:40Speaker 1: But I only just always are already you see No, no,
- 1:20:44Speaker 1: we don't. Okay, orange is orange, We get that. But
- 1:20:50Speaker 1: yeah we get it. You ain't stupid like because that's
- 1:20:53Speaker 1: the only fruit that is orange. See, you can have
- 1:20:57Speaker 1: a green apple. Attention Manae is not on. That's the tangerine.
- 1:21:05Speaker 1: It's a perform of and on. Okay, he'll go the
- 1:21:09Speaker 1: one that really bobs. Okay, yeah, that was good. Okay,
- 1:21:15Speaker 1: tell jun here for a woman by a necklace called
- 1:21:21Speaker 1: a choker and she died. You you did that to yourself?
- 1:21:29Speaker 1: Oh god? What Why would you buy a choker? And

- 1:21:46Speaker 1: buy a choker and it's say choker on the label.
- 1:21:49Speaker 1: Why would you do that to yourself? Come on, we
- 1:21:54Speaker 1: got around with the stupid. If you can't get bad,
- 1:21:58Speaker 1: I'm telling to my phone. If you have to judge these,
- 1:22:06Speaker 1: do I make sense? Uh? Why would you buy a chokers? Three?
- 1:22:11Speaker 1: Why would you buy a choker and it could kill you.
- 1:22:14Speaker 1: I think he thinks by repeating it don't make it better. Okay, Okay, okay, here, okay,
- 1:22:20Speaker 1: land one. Okay, if peanut butter cookies is made out
- 1:22:25Speaker 1: of peanut, but what is girl's got cookies made out?
- 1:22:35Speaker 1: Is it? Lick it the kid? You know what I'm saying,
- 1:22:40Speaker 1: do I make I'm just trying to make sense, that's all.
- 1:22:43Speaker 1: I'm just trying to make sense out of thick I'm
- 1:22:52Speaker 1: changing what se If you have to vote, you have
- 1:22:55Speaker 1: to judge these all right, Come on, come on, okay,
- 1:22:58Speaker 1: we're gonna you want to start people wear glass? Why
- 1:23:06Speaker 1: don't tell people wear if people have on glasses too
- 1:23:12Speaker 1: and they're not blast fort and you can wear earmosks
- 1:23:16Speaker 1: cause it's cold outside. That was negated, junior winds that
- 1:23:19Speaker 1: were next, That were next. You're trying to be deep
- 1:23:23Speaker 1: and you sound stupid. You just described your signal. Okay,
- 1:23:32Speaker 1: So if you deaf airplane, they got them and the
- 1:23:35Speaker 1: glasses next? Mad Yeah you don't like okay. If athletes

- 1:23:53Speaker 1: If a oenge is oe, then why is it a
- 1:23:57Speaker 1: lime called a green? Because other fruit that's on the
- 1:24:00Speaker 1: junior wins that one. If a human can get a
- 1:24:04Speaker 1: child at Hawks, then what do the Hawks get? We
- 1:24:07Speaker 1: don't nobody know. Ur Hurry, hurry. And if if a
- 1:24:13Speaker 1: woman were a choker and that she did that to herself,
- 1:24:17Speaker 1: that's good okay. And last but not leave, if peanut
- 1:24:21Speaker 1: butter cook is made out of peanut butterle what is girl? Scott?
- 1:24:27Speaker 1: I can't eat foolishness on the way. You're listening to
- 1:24:35Speaker 1: the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Two thousand, seventeen eighteen NBA
- 1:24:40Speaker 1: season kicked off last night with two games. It was
- 1:24:42Speaker 1: Boston at Cleveland, Steve, And for you, Houston, who was
- 1:24:46Speaker 1: gonna lose their game? It was Houston at Golden State.
- 1:24:51Speaker 1: I heard you clearly knew who was gonna One of
- 1:24:55Speaker 1: the hottest single game tickets this season is for the
- 1:24:58Speaker 1: December eighteenth game when the Golden State Warriors visit the
- 1:25:02Speaker 1: l A Lakers. Baby, it's the big night because it
- 1:25:06Speaker 1: will be the game where the Lakers will retire the
- 1:25:09Speaker 1: jersey of the one and only Kobe Bryant Cat Dog.
- 1:25:14Speaker 1: Speaking of sports, according to a new study from Canada,
- 1:25:16Speaker 1: watching sports can break your heart. Okay, Researchers found that
- 1:25:21Speaker 1: sports fans watching the game at home deal with an
- 1:25:24Speaker 1: average of seventy five percent increase in heart rate during
- 1:25:27Speaker 1: key points in the game, while fans who are actually
- 1:25:31Speaker 1: in the stands deal with a hundred and ten percent increase.
- 1:25:34Speaker 1: That's a lot of stress right there, even even if
- 1:25:38Speaker 1: you have a healthy heart. Okay, even if we're working
- 1:25:40Speaker 1: with healthy hearts here. So Steve, here's my question for
- 1:25:43Speaker 1: you and guys too. What sports moment in your life
- 1:25:46Speaker 1: cause you the most heartache? And did it make you cry?
- 1:25:50Speaker 1: Did it make you cry? I mean I'm talking heart break,
- 1:25:54Speaker 1: heart ache. He's filling his already student all that's it.
- 1:26:02Speaker 1: But played the Buffalo, Oh my god, Las we was
- 1:26:07Speaker 1: a thirty something points third or four point this one
- 1:26:12Speaker 1: we had? Was it? War Moon Curtis Jeffrey hate with Jeffery.
- 1:26:18Speaker 1: You see what I'm saying, Shirley, I better do five
- 1:26:22Speaker 1: hundred dollars. We're gonna win this game. At halftime, I
- 1:26:25Speaker 1: went shopping. I was all in the gallery in Houston.
- 1:26:28Speaker 1: When I got back onto my mama house, he was
- 1:26:30Speaker 1: sitting on the curtain where my money at. I said, what,
- 1:26:33Speaker 1: what what are you talking about? He said, they came back.
- 1:26:37Speaker 1: I said, kidding me. It was the I died that
- 1:26:42Speaker 1: day I die, I don't. I don't root for particular team.
- 1:26:46Speaker 1: No moment since that day that broke me. Man, did
- 1:26:52Speaker 1: you cry? What cried? When I was getting the money back?
- 1:26:56Speaker 1: I was back at the mill taking stuff back. Now,
- 1:27:03Speaker 1: that's it. Forever was the game. That was the game. Yeah,
- 1:27:08Speaker 1: what y'all asks? Ain't from Cleveland. I've had a pain
- 1:27:16Speaker 1: so deep in my soul. Only the Cavalier's victory easy
- 1:27:21Speaker 1: it a little bit, and we had to get out
- 1:27:23Speaker 1: to damn sport of football to fix it. Two games,
- 1:27:29Speaker 1: both of them a f C championship games a matter
- 1:27:32Speaker 1: of fact, three of them two against the same team
- 1:27:35Speaker 1: every year. The a f C Championship the Browns against Denver.
- 1:27:41Speaker 1: The Drive came and beat the Browns the next year
- 1:27:49Speaker 1: the fumble in the end zone in the end zone,
- 1:27:56Speaker 1: and the other one a f C Championship Oakland aid
- 1:28:00Speaker 1: Is Brian's site to Ozzy Newsom in the end zone
- 1:28:05Speaker 1: in exception, it was cold as hall outside. Wow, I
- 1:28:10Speaker 1: feel that one the way you told it right now,
- 1:28:14Speaker 1: disced on it. How old were you, Steve? How old
- 1:28:17Speaker 1: were you? Two? Damn old. I was grown ass man.
- 1:28:23Speaker 1: It was in the eighties. Man wow, man Okay, I
- 1:28:30Speaker 1: was in Man in Calhoun basement watching the game with
- 1:28:33Speaker 1: Ricardo Butch Gil Calhoun. Hell. When you know who always,
- 1:28:38Speaker 1: when you know who all was there, we gotta go
- 1:28:43Speaker 1: pull yourself together. Steve, you're listening to the Steve Harvey
- 1:28:47Speaker 1: Morning Show. Trump is failing as President, Trump was asked
- 1:28:52Speaker 1: about his silence following the killing of four Army Green
- 1:28:55Speaker 1: Beret soldiers in Niger on October four, that was about
- 1:28:59Speaker 1: two weeks ago. The president replied, saying that he had
- 1:29:02Speaker 1: personally taken the time to write a letter to each
- 1:29:04Speaker 1: one of their families and that he would call them
- 1:29:07Speaker 1: up at some point. He went on to remark that
- 1:29:10Speaker 1: President Obama never made it a priority. Former Obama aids
- 1:29:15Speaker 1: lashed out at Trump, including former attorney Attorney General Eric Holder.
- 1:29:19Speaker 1: Uh Holder tweeted, stopped the dang lying your the president.
- 1:29:25Speaker 1: I went to Dover Air Force Base with forty four
- 1:29:28Speaker 1: meaning President Obama, and saw him comfort the families of
- 1:29:32Speaker 1: both the fallen military and the d e A. So, Steve,
- 1:29:36Speaker 1: we talked about this a little earlier. We touched on it.
- 1:29:39Speaker 1: Why does Trump feel the need to compare himself to
- 1:29:42Speaker 1: his predecessors, especially especially President Obama. Well he's a little
- 1:29:49Speaker 1: It comes down to winning. With this guy. President Trump
- 1:29:54Speaker 1: is all about winning and nothing else matters. He's still
- 1:29:58Speaker 1: discussing the victory over Hillary Clinton. He's still talking about
- 1:30:03Speaker 1: the votes he got in Michigan, Wisconsin, and Pennsylvania. He
- 1:30:07Speaker 1: can't because he he understands it only that way in business,
- 1:30:14Speaker 1: if you read his book, in the Art of the Deal,
- 1:30:17Speaker 1: the only thing that matters is winning. And one of
- 1:30:21Speaker 1: the things that they do in the Art of the
- 1:30:23Speaker 1: Deal is they constantly remind you of your assets. When
- 1:30:27Speaker 1: you're dealing in business, you have to remind the person
- 1:30:30Speaker 1: that you're purchasing from or selling to of all of
- 1:30:33Speaker 1: your assets so that you retain your value throughout the deal.
- 1:30:39Speaker 1: And so he'll go and no, he'll take any small thing.
- 1:30:43Speaker 1: But first of all, he was talking about the director
- 1:30:45Speaker 1: of FEMA the other day, gave him an a plus
- 1:30:47Speaker 1: on how he was handling the hurricane. All of them,
- 1:30:51Speaker 1: Well that was before HERI came Maria, because the reproval
- 1:30:55Speaker 1: when rating went down from over sixty of handling the
- 1:30:58Speaker 1: whole or the old hurricane situation, TAPTA Maria to down
- 1:31:02Speaker 1: to And this is because but yesterday he was just
- 1:31:10Speaker 1: on news talking about he's gotten an A plus from
- 1:31:13Speaker 1: the director of female Yeah, yeah, he gave me any play.
- 1:31:16Speaker 1: And the guy was standing there next to him that
- 1:31:18Speaker 1: he just became friends with who he Mitch, Mitchell McConnell.
- 1:31:22Speaker 1: He was standing there looking at him like, I can't
- 1:31:25Speaker 1: believe saying that. And I mean he's talking about how
- 1:31:28Speaker 1: human Mitchell great friends and we pulled it together. And
- 1:31:31Speaker 1: that's not true either. But I mean, he just talks
- 1:31:34Speaker 1: about winning all the time to remind you of the
- 1:31:39Speaker 1: victory so you don't focus on any losses that he
- 1:31:42Speaker 1: may be going through right now. And I think that's
- 1:31:45Speaker 1: just his way of doing business. And he keeps comparing
- 1:31:48Speaker 1: himself to Obama like he's much better than him. Hey man,
- 1:31:51Speaker 1: you're number forty five. You got the job. You don't
- 1:31:53Speaker 1: have to talk about forty You don't really have to
- 1:31:56Speaker 1: mention forty three. What you really have ship focus on
- 1:32:00Speaker 1: is being the greatest number forty five that you can be,
- 1:32:03Speaker 1: because you're the only forty five. That's not a thing
- 1:32:06Speaker 1: about being president. You're the only one currently is president.
- 1:32:12Speaker 1: So just be the best that trust come along, who
- 1:32:19Speaker 1: up a lot? Yeah, Yeah, it's still campaigning, seems like
- 1:32:25Speaker 1: to me. I don't yeah. Yeah. And then Senate Majority
- 1:32:30Speaker 1: Leaders Mitchmon, Yeah, that's what that's Paul Ryan. Yeah, what
- 1:32:35Speaker 1: did you say? Tommy? All right, we gotta go. Come on, Steve.
- 1:32:41Speaker 1: You're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show. Here we go
- 1:32:44Speaker 1: at the last break of the day. With just one
- 1:32:47Speaker 1: more thing, guys. Uh. Shonda Rhymes has now joined the
- 1:32:51Speaker 1: ranks of Oprah Winfrey and Diane Carroll by being only
- 1:32:54Speaker 1: the third black woman to be inducted into the Television
- 1:32:57Speaker 1: Hall of Fame as the brains behind such massive TV
- 1:33:01Speaker 1: hits like Grey's Anatomy Scandal, Private Practice, and How to
- 1:33:05Speaker 1: Get Away with Murder. Yes, I have to say it
- 1:33:10Speaker 1: like that, right, it's no surprise she is being inducted
- 1:33:13Speaker 1: at the ceremony will take place on November. Congratulations to
- 1:33:17Speaker 1: miss Shanda Rhymes. She certainly deserves that. Yeah, certainly, Carol
- 1:33:24Speaker 1: that category. Oh yeah, Julia, yeah, alright, uh, And Steve,
- 1:33:29Speaker 1: your boy, Lebron James has a one million dollar contract.
- 1:33:33Speaker 1: Yet Lebron is still famously frugal now, at least according
- 1:33:37Speaker 1: to his Cleveland Calves teammates. D Wade says King James
- 1:33:41Speaker 1: is so cheap that he refuses to accept data roaming
- 1:33:44Speaker 1: charges on a cell phone when he's on vacation, despite
- 1:33:47Speaker 1: going on these lavish trips that cost tens of thousands
- 1:33:51Speaker 1: of dollars? Would you say more than tens of thousands
- 1:34:00Speaker 1: for the hundreds of thousands? I see him out there?
- 1:34:03Speaker 1: You just no, you see him? You well? I mean,
- 1:34:13Speaker 1: the point is he gets upset about his roaming churches.
- 1:34:16Speaker 1: Does he have his own plane? I'm not at liberty
- 1:34:19Speaker 1: to say that. Why black people with y'all plane? Why? Yeah,
- 1:34:22Speaker 1: Why y'all touch you? Why don't don't even touch you?
- 1:34:24Speaker 1: I just said, you're talking about black people planes, y'all
- 1:34:28Speaker 1: y'all got attitude? Why y'all know y'all like that? You
- 1:34:32Speaker 1: know so so so. White people don't have attitude. White
- 1:34:37Speaker 1: people with planes don't do that. Black people are nobody
- 1:34:40Speaker 1: asking him about that? No, we the only want to
- 1:34:46Speaker 1: be asked. Ain't nobody would up to mail Gibson, sir,
- 1:34:51Speaker 1: how about your plane? Let's talk about it. Ain't seen
- 1:34:53Speaker 1: the interview nowhere, no vot you got plenty and he flying?
- 1:35:00Speaker 1: But what about Steve Harvey plane Yeah, you're pull up
- 1:35:03Speaker 1: next to Crayflow your plane. See that? What dog? So
- 1:35:10Speaker 1: you're Crayflow can't pull upside by side? What like in
- 1:35:14Speaker 1: a parking lot? That's what it is, a plane lot
- 1:35:19Speaker 1: or something? Yeah? Who another term for that time? Why
- 1:35:23Speaker 1: don't you get off the sudder? But he's acting like
- 1:35:25Speaker 1: a soul plane or something. You know. Well that's where
- 1:35:28Speaker 1: he used to flying on because he'd be buying them
- 1:35:30Speaker 1: tickets on expedition dot. That's how he missed his plane.
- 1:35:37Speaker 1: Ain't the road? Oh man? Man? Okay, so you're all right?
- 1:35:44Speaker 1: Who who all got the plane? Don't tell us? Bring
- 1:35:48Speaker 1: us into your world? Who all got the plane? You magic? Sam?
- 1:35:54Speaker 1: Keep going down? Who hell got Eddy? Give us the
- 1:35:57Speaker 1: black plane? Parking like the US? The black plane? I
- 1:36:05Speaker 1: think we have more fun talking about who ain't got
- 1:36:07Speaker 1: one yet? And then let's talk about why you don't
- 1:36:13Speaker 1: have one. Let's just do that, Timmy, you know why
- 1:36:16Speaker 1: because you cheat? Then what I'm talking with this that
- 1:36:20Speaker 1: rich mad attitude. That's what I don't like. Now listen
- 1:36:24Speaker 1: to me. We would you all agree to this that
- 1:36:27Speaker 1: Tommy is really really cheap? Would you all agree? That's
- 1:36:33Speaker 1: how you rich? What you're talking about No, you don't
- 1:36:38Speaker 1: see that's what people think. You think if you hang
- 1:36:41Speaker 1: on every dollar you got, that's how you be rich.
- 1:36:43Speaker 1: That's a falsehood. Well, because you can't put anything in
- 1:36:49Speaker 1: a closed hand. You have to spend money to make money.
- 1:36:53Speaker 1: It's what you're absolutely if you're clenching your fists hanging
- 1:36:56Speaker 1: on what you've got and you never open it, we
- 1:36:58Speaker 1: cannot expand it. Or as my friend used to say,
- 1:37:01Speaker 1: scared money don't make money. Scared money don't make money.
- 1:37:07Speaker 1: Oh you may not lose no money in Vegas because
- 1:37:09Speaker 1: you didn't bet, but you damn sure ain't gonna win
- 1:37:12Speaker 1: none either. As such as life, my friend m And
- 1:37:18Speaker 1: that's why there's a stigit type boy attitude you got.
- 1:37:21Speaker 1: It's gonna backfire and it and you open shut up,
- 1:37:26Speaker 1: junior chief, and all you causes you. They're good you.
- 1:37:38Speaker 1: They not use their pre owned So stop that. Don't
- 1:37:41Speaker 1: say that. Don't say you Okay, you're right, they're not you.
- 1:37:44Speaker 1: Nobody used them before you. They just cost way less
- 1:37:50Speaker 1: and got that stick on the window. Well, and there's
- 1:37:55Speaker 1: nothing wrong with pre owned cars. You're talking about timmy
- 1:37:59Speaker 1: wrong with it's just timing. When he all up in
- 1:38:02Speaker 1: the big league. Calls man, pre owned, there's something wrong
- 1:38:06Speaker 1: with it. Now, you got a problem not to fix
- 1:38:09Speaker 1: that pre owned? Call? Oh, you don't want me to
- 1:38:13Speaker 1: have the rods? Right? Is that what this is? Excuse me?
- 1:38:17Speaker 1: I mean what this back? What you want? The real nephew?
- 1:38:22Speaker 1: I you got you got two brand new roads, right,
- 1:38:26Speaker 1: you gotta made by brand new. You gotta spread a
- 1:38:28Speaker 1: brand new You got a to business brand new. Look
- 1:38:32Speaker 1: at the blessing God in the garage, but hold on,
- 1:38:37Speaker 1: hold on for a moment. Look at the blessings of God. Oh,
- 1:38:43Speaker 1: look at the blessing garage. If you already got the
- 1:38:46Speaker 1: garrug because you get another house. Look at the blessings
