- 0:20Speaker 1: true good, string together to please. I don't join jo.
- 0:58Speaker 1: You gotta turn you, you gotta turn the turnout. Turn
- 1:43Speaker 1: you got to turn out to turn, turn the water
- 1:47Speaker 1: the water go. Come, come on your thab uh huh,
- 2:02Speaker 1: I show we off. Hey, good morning everybody. You're listening
- 2:05Speaker 1: to the voice, Come on dig me now, one and
- 2:08Speaker 1: only Steve Harvey got a radio show. I've been saying
- 2:13Speaker 1: it like that since I got it too. All Right,
- 2:16Speaker 1: I gotta go one for you today. Yesterday the other day,
- 2:19Speaker 1: I was talking to you about the most effective weapon
- 2:22Speaker 1: available to us as human beings I think is prayer.
- 2:25Speaker 1: I think prayer helps us in so many ways. But
- 2:30Speaker 1: right now, what I want to do is I want
- 2:32Speaker 1: to show you how prayer pays off. I want I
- 2:36Speaker 1: want to show you what good it can do for you,
- 2:38Speaker 1: even me, I use it every day, and and the
- 2:41Speaker 1: days I don't use it, I feel it that that
- 2:45Speaker 1: you know, the days that I go, you know, without
- 2:48Speaker 1: talking to him as much, I notice it. I feel it.
- 2:50Speaker 1: I feel a certain kind of way. You know, those
- 2:54Speaker 1: those that doubt starts slipping in again, that uneasy feeling
- 2:58Speaker 1: of uncertainty slips in and again, that that wondering what
- 3:01Speaker 1: I'm gonna do start slipping in again. Happens to me,
- 3:04Speaker 1: happens everybody, man, I think, I really really do you know,
- 3:07Speaker 1: if people would just keep it real with each other,
- 3:10Speaker 1: stop being this Christian this superman, because you ain't you ain't.
- 3:16Speaker 1: There's a scripture that says that's none perfect, no not one.
- 3:22Speaker 1: That's everybody that covered all of us thought. So sometimes
- 3:27Speaker 1: I think we're a little too hard on each other
- 3:29Speaker 1: with that too, Seeing it's how we're not perfect. We
- 3:32Speaker 1: immediately want to just just oh man, you just want
- 3:36Speaker 1: to kill when we find somebody do something wrong. But
- 3:39Speaker 1: if we go public, everything go public now called social media.
- 3:42Speaker 1: But anyway, I just want to talk to you about
- 3:45Speaker 1: how prayer pays off. It's called all eye and money.
- 3:50Speaker 1: People got money, call it all eyes a return on investment.
- 3:54Speaker 1: People are always looking for a return on investment. You know, nobody,
- 3:58Speaker 1: nobody in business really gives you money without understanding the
- 4:01Speaker 1: return on investment. They don't even give moneys to charities
- 4:06Speaker 1: unless they think it can do something with the bottom line.
- 4:09Speaker 1: A lot of companies work like that. I found out
- 4:11Speaker 1: out myself. Sad, but it is true. So since everything
- 4:16Speaker 1: is expected to work on a return on investment as
- 4:19Speaker 1: soon because we're human beings. So since we're all human beings,
- 4:22Speaker 1: whether you're in business or not, you're still in the
- 4:26Speaker 1: business of living. I think when you pray, you should
- 4:31Speaker 1: expect a return on your investment. You talk to him,
- 4:36Speaker 1: you spend time opening it up to him, you bowed
- 4:40Speaker 1: your head to him, you humbled yourself, you got on
- 4:44Speaker 1: your knees. I mean, but really we're talking God here,
- 4:47Speaker 1: So really, what you're doing ain't really about nothing. Be
- 4:49Speaker 1: honest with You're a little bit that you do do
- 4:52Speaker 1: on his behalf, it just pales in comparison with what
- 4:56Speaker 1: he does. But let's just say you want to call
- 4:58Speaker 1: yourself invested, Well, let me show you how it pays
- 5:02Speaker 1: off this because for me, this is for me now,
- 5:05Speaker 1: prayer pays off in different ways. That's what I had
- 5:08Speaker 1: to learn. See, I was praying, but I was asking
- 5:11Speaker 1: him specifically for what I wanted. I had the audacity, though,
- 5:16Speaker 1: to turn around and tell him how to do what
- 5:18Speaker 1: I wanted that's amazing. Man. I can't tell you how
- 5:21Speaker 1: many blessings I blocked coming my way by putting my
- 5:25Speaker 1: faith in what I said I wanted and how I
- 5:28Speaker 1: wanted him to do it. I want you to give
- 5:30Speaker 1: me this. I want that person to go away. I
- 5:34Speaker 1: want this person to accept everything you say. Then I
- 5:38Speaker 1: want to go over here, and I want this deal
- 5:40Speaker 1: to happen like this, And I want that person to
- 5:43Speaker 1: just step aside and let let me through. And then
- 5:46Speaker 1: I wanted I was. I hadn't mapped out. God must
- 5:50Speaker 1: have been chuckling really hard. He hadn't been gonna. Boy,
- 5:53Speaker 1: I made you to be funny. But boy, you're funny now.
- 5:55Speaker 1: So you're gonna tell me how to do it. And
- 5:58Speaker 1: you've all heard this right here. If you want to
- 5:59Speaker 1: make God laugh telling me your plan, well, that's what
- 6:02Speaker 1: I did. And that's how we pray. A lot of
- 6:04Speaker 1: times we pray, and we pray in the prayer with
- 6:08Speaker 1: telling him how to work it out. Well, here's the deal.
- 6:12Speaker 1: This is what I've learned. Prayer pays off in different ways.
- 6:16Speaker 1: There's a different return of my investment when I pray. See,
- 6:20Speaker 1: sometimes when I'm praying for something, a situation to dissolve
- 6:25Speaker 1: itself or go away. Sometimes I get courage out of
- 6:30Speaker 1: the prayer. Prayer provides me courage that's just to go
- 6:36Speaker 1: on and look at it. I guess face it then.
- 6:40Speaker 1: Sometimes when I'm praying about a situation, sometimes prayer gives
- 6:46Speaker 1: me hanging power. Sometimes, man, it just I look up
- 6:50Speaker 1: and I'm just handling it better. Sometimes prayer gives you
- 6:54Speaker 1: laugh at off power. Sometimes, man, you just got to
- 6:58Speaker 1: laugh at off whatever. Man you trip it? Do you
- 7:05Speaker 1: know what that is? If you could do that, you know.
- 7:09Speaker 1: Sometimes it it gives you a show of strength power.
- 7:14Speaker 1: Sometimes prayer allows you to have the appearance that you
- 7:18Speaker 1: got it all together. Nobody got to know the world.
- 7:22Speaker 1: When the tornado, the hurricane that's swirling in your life,
- 7:26Speaker 1: you're standing over that like the eye the hurricane you
- 7:29Speaker 1: and it's all swirling around you. But you're standing that
- 7:32Speaker 1: like the eye, you just as calm. That's what prayer does.
- 7:35Speaker 1: So when you pray, man, it builds up a lot
- 7:38Speaker 1: of things in you. You know what it's done for me.
- 7:41Speaker 1: Prayer has built up character in me. It's made me
- 7:45Speaker 1: have more character because I'm able to stand stronger on
- 7:48Speaker 1: the things I say. Because I've been praying because I've
- 7:52Speaker 1: been asking God for all of those return of investments.
- 7:55Speaker 1: I've been asking God for courage. I've been asking God
- 7:59Speaker 1: for hanging power. I've been asking him to give me
- 8:01Speaker 1: the power to walk away. I've asked him to give
- 8:04Speaker 1: me ignored power. I've asking to help me laugh it off.
- 8:07Speaker 1: I've asked him to show me strength. But you know
- 8:10Speaker 1: what I was doing, I was really praying, not really
- 8:12Speaker 1: for them things be real with you. I was asking
- 8:15Speaker 1: them to help me, Lord, help me. You ever done that?
- 8:18Speaker 1: You ever asked God for help? And then all of
- 8:20Speaker 1: a sudden, the list of these things show up. See,
- 8:23Speaker 1: sometimes how you want the problem to be solved ain't
- 8:25Speaker 1: the best way. There's a lesson to be learned when
- 8:28Speaker 1: we make mistakes. And sometimes you got to stay in
- 8:30Speaker 1: that fire and you got to learn that lesson. But
- 8:34Speaker 1: guess what, though, when you come out of it, you're
- 8:36Speaker 1: gonna be better for it. You're gonna know more about it.
- 8:39Speaker 1: Come on, y'all, pray. He's solid, His word is true,
- 8:43Speaker 1: it lasts forever. He do what he's say gonna do
- 8:45Speaker 1: now all day, all night, twenty four seven, he do
- 8:51Speaker 1: it all day, all night. And then some more his word,
- 8:54Speaker 1: don't ever change. It's true. It works for me. It
- 8:57Speaker 1: worked for you. It worked for Jake's It worked for
- 9:00Speaker 1: Old Steam, It worked for Kirk Franklin. It worked for
- 9:04Speaker 1: Paula White. It worked for Billy Graham. It worked for
- 9:08Speaker 1: Mother Teresa. It worked for Gandhi, It worked for Princess Arabs.
- 9:14Speaker 1: It worked, man, it worked for you. What you're waiting for?
- 9:19Speaker 1: Why don't you put praying your game? Watch what happened
- 9:22Speaker 1: to you? You're sitting in that jail, celle, and you're
- 9:24Speaker 1: struggling with it, and they're telling you bloody and blood out.
- 9:27Speaker 1: You can't get in you. That's foolishness, man, What you
- 9:31Speaker 1: mean God can get you out of anything. Look, man,
- 9:34Speaker 1: if you didn't read your Bible, he didn't got some
- 9:35Speaker 1: people out of some sticky situations. I don't know what
- 9:37Speaker 1: you're talking about. If Daniel was in the lions den
- 9:40Speaker 1: and Jonah was in the belly of the whale, what
- 9:42Speaker 1: you're talking about? Where you are? You just sitting in
- 9:44Speaker 1: the sale with some dudes round and you're talking about
- 9:46Speaker 1: what they gonna do. Man, you gotta be real. God,
- 9:48Speaker 1: it can't nothing to do nothing. Nobody can't nobody do
- 9:51Speaker 1: nothing to you. God won't give you to strift to handle.
- 9:54Speaker 1: Prayer changes things. Man. You're listening, ladies and gentlemen, uh man,
- 10:04Speaker 1: have you undivided attention please. We are getting at the
- 10:08Speaker 1: stage where voting is becoming critical. Make sure you get
- 10:12Speaker 1: out and cast your voting. I deal with that later,
- 10:15Speaker 1: ladies and gentlemen. Shirley Strawberry, Good morning, Steve, Good morning,
- 10:20Speaker 1: vote vote vote. It's right. Told you what I was
- 10:23Speaker 1: gonna do as soon as I got off the here
- 10:25Speaker 1: he did it. Yeah, they tried to play me too.
- 10:29Speaker 1: Hold on, I get to that caller for real. You
- 10:31Speaker 1: gott it done, though. What's happening to Steve? Put up
- 10:34Speaker 1: down Junior? Everybody didn't vote it on this show, King
- 10:37Speaker 1: of Blanks, vote Baby rock the vote. I got mine
- 10:42Speaker 1: in yes. So here's what they said. Um, I go
- 10:46Speaker 1: to the polls and they said, uh, oh, did you
- 10:51Speaker 1: mail in your absentutee vallet? I said, I didn't get it.
- 10:54Speaker 1: I said, I asked for it back in June. I
- 10:57Speaker 1: didn't get it. Oh, we send it out on the ninth.
- 11:02Speaker 1: I said, ma'am, this is the nineteen I said, what what?
- 11:06Speaker 1: What did y'all send it? On horseback. That black lady
- 11:11Speaker 1: fell out left. She said, is this who I think
- 11:14Speaker 1: this is? You? Yes, ma'am, I said, I said, I said,
- 11:21Speaker 1: I said, but it's okay. I see they tried to
- 11:23Speaker 1: play me, but it's okay. I'm coming down here. Yeah, okay,
- 11:30Speaker 1: I'm glad you did. But you have to sign it
- 11:33Speaker 1: after David that you've all that you will not send
- 11:36Speaker 1: in your absentee ballot that's not signed anything. They just
- 11:39Speaker 1: let me vote to day that's also went on, did
- 11:42Speaker 1: my civic duty and voting. I'm gonna say all day
- 11:49Speaker 1: to day y'all can get off my damn page with
- 11:53Speaker 1: this Trump sugar hunted iced tea because I voted Biden,
- 11:58Speaker 1: Kamala Harris. So y'all gonna quit talking about so now
- 12:01Speaker 1: you know, you know how they go vote for Trump.
- 12:03Speaker 1: I know you voted for Trump, Go Trump, trumpet Pence
- 12:06Speaker 1: all the way. You get off my page with that?
- 12:09Speaker 1: Oh you mean the comments? Yeah no, they no, see no,
- 12:18Speaker 1: they don't assume my voter fops. That's the game they
- 12:21Speaker 1: play on social media. If a celebrity says he voted,
- 12:25Speaker 1: they are sitting around going, yeah, go for Trump, blah
- 12:28Speaker 1: blah blah, blah blah. Oh, that's what they do. As
- 12:33Speaker 1: soon as you go up, the first thing you're gonna
- 12:36Speaker 1: see is Trump, Trump, Trump, Trump Trump. They do it
- 12:38Speaker 1: to all the celebrities every time they vote, you know,
- 12:42Speaker 1: and then they get mad when the Biden hairs people
- 12:44Speaker 1: come on. I'm just not cram up the crack Trump. No, No,
- 12:53Speaker 1: I don't call me no Hollywood puppet because I'm a
- 12:56Speaker 1: thinking man. Because I like morals, and I like values,
- 13:00Speaker 1: and I like diversity in this country and I like unification.
- 13:05Speaker 1: That's why I ain't voting for Trump, because he's just
- 13:08Speaker 1: not a good representative of the country. So and if
- 13:12Speaker 1: anybody listened to my radio show, they would know that.
- 13:15Speaker 1: But I was crack as fool. There's a lot of
- 13:16Speaker 1: people in there. Yeah, well, you know, and be up
- 13:20Speaker 1: in there. That's why that fly was on his hair alight.
- 13:26Speaker 1: But you know, flies is attracted to that, and once
- 13:30Speaker 1: he pulled his head out for the debate to fly
- 13:32Speaker 1: with right on it. We gots to go. Coming up
- 13:35Speaker 1: at thirty two minutes after the hour and get ready
- 13:37Speaker 1: for Steve's favorite segment, asked the Cello the Clode chief
- 13:41Speaker 1: Love officer coming up right after this you're listening Steve
- 13:45Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. All right, time Now for ask the cello? Ready,
- 13:50Speaker 1: Chief Love Officer. Here we go. This one is from
- 13:55Speaker 1: Sherry and Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. She says, My boyfriend and I've
- 13:58Speaker 1: been together for two years, and I've always had a
- 14:01Speaker 1: problem with his table manners. He choose with his mouth
- 14:04Speaker 1: open and like to talk with his mouth full. He
- 14:08Speaker 1: eats with his fingers a lot, and he loves to
- 14:11Speaker 1: lick them when he's done, unless the super vegetables. He
- 14:15Speaker 1: eats with his fingers. He picks up his steaks and
- 14:18Speaker 1: pork chops and bites into them instead of using a
- 14:21Speaker 1: knife and fork like a civilized person. If I comment
- 14:26Speaker 1: about it, If I comment about it, he gets mad.
- 14:29Speaker 1: He's thirty one. Is it too late for him to
- 14:32Speaker 1: learn table manners? No, m But now let me ask
- 14:37Speaker 1: you something that you are familiar. That there are cultures
- 14:40Speaker 1: who eat with their hands. True. Uh, he's from here though, Well, yeah,
- 14:48Speaker 1: you don't know where he from. He's from here, she
- 14:50Speaker 1: would have sat. Its sound like a great dude to me, hardy,
- 15:00Speaker 1: But I'll tell you what is. It is hard though,
- 15:03Speaker 1: when you're sitting there and somebody eating and chewing with
- 15:06Speaker 1: a mouth open and talk with food with anybody, and
- 15:09Speaker 1: you can see the different grades of chewing like we
- 15:14Speaker 1: first started. Then you can see it mashing together. It's
- 15:18Speaker 1: it's ugly. I'd work with him on it, you know, Yeah,
- 15:26Speaker 1: just say baby, look it's embarrassing. Come on now we
- 15:29Speaker 1: go out. We're at home. You know. If we ever
- 15:31Speaker 1: have kids, what are they gonna thank you? But he
- 15:33Speaker 1: gets mad when she says, well, but see you gotta you,
- 15:36Speaker 1: gotta stop. You can't do it. Why he eats? See
- 15:40Speaker 1: you keep getting bringing it up? Why are you eating
- 15:42Speaker 1: with your hand while he eating? I can't talk with him.
- 15:48Speaker 1: You have to bring it up in the cool of
- 15:50Speaker 1: the night. You can never bring up a touchy subject
- 15:54Speaker 1: in the heat of an argument. Who is that chewing that?
- 15:58Speaker 1: Who is that? Okay? But let me ask you this.
- 16:11Speaker 1: When you sit down at a five star restaurant, do
- 16:14Speaker 1: you know all of them silver wares when it's time?
- 16:16Speaker 1: Do you know it's a lot of my Yeah I was.
- 16:20Speaker 1: I know that. You start eating from the outside right, okay,
- 16:26Speaker 1: And then what you do is you hold your hands
- 16:28Speaker 1: in your lap. The left hand is a beat and
- 16:31Speaker 1: the right hand is a d kind of like an
- 16:33Speaker 1: okay sign. This is how you learn, you know, how
- 16:38Speaker 1: you like you look through your hands like like and
- 16:41Speaker 1: put them in your lap. If you look down, the
- 16:43Speaker 1: left hand is a bee and the right hand is
- 16:46Speaker 1: a D. The left hand mean that's your bread, and
- 16:51Speaker 1: then the right hand mean that's your drink. So you
- 16:54Speaker 1: at the table at a buffet and you're in the
- 16:56Speaker 1: circular table, put your hand on your lap and look
- 17:00Speaker 1: down at the bee and the D. The b is
- 17:02Speaker 1: on your left and the drink is on your wife.
- 17:04Speaker 1: That's your drink. Glass. Don't drink out to other people glass.
- 17:08Speaker 1: We're not doing at that glass. No, no, no, I'm
- 17:12Speaker 1: talking about like like if you had a buffet dinner.
- 17:15Speaker 1: Oh well no, not buffet banquet yeah, uh huh. You
- 17:21Speaker 1: know you know you're a banquet style dinner. Yeah, you
- 17:24Speaker 1: where you got likes a signed seat and the table
- 17:28Speaker 1: is round and you sit down and you don't know
- 17:30Speaker 1: who you want to do. Glasses is yours. That's some pressure.
- 17:34Speaker 1: That's how you go. You've been trying to wait. All right,
- 17:40Speaker 1: all right, we're moving on. Steve good, good table manner, lesson,
- 17:43Speaker 1: All right, here we go, Marlon and Dallas, says my
- 17:46Speaker 1: wife and I have a blended family with five kids,
- 17:48Speaker 1: and her oldest son is having a destination wedding. In December.
- 17:52Speaker 1: I found the beach front rental property with seven bedrooms,
- 17:55Speaker 1: and my wife loved the house. She told her ex
- 17:57Speaker 1: husband that we found a place to stay, and he
- 17:59Speaker 1: as if he and his girlfriend can stay with us
- 18:02Speaker 1: since we have plenty of room. When she asked me,
- 18:05Speaker 1: I said hell no. She told me to have an
- 18:08Speaker 1: open mind and think it over. I prayed about it
- 18:10Speaker 1: and weighed the pros and cons. It's still a note
- 18:13Speaker 1: for me. Am I wrong? Hell no, hey, man, you
- 18:18Speaker 1: come into the wedding. Get your own damn place. Yeah, no,
- 18:22Speaker 1: many just ain't no plenty of room my my ex
- 18:27Speaker 1: wife husband ex husband gonna be in the same house.
- 18:30Speaker 1: There was your damn mind. Pardon and it's gonna work
- 18:35Speaker 1: because in the mid just get over there and stoff
- 18:37Speaker 1: warming on you. You we're not gonna do this here. No,
- 18:41Speaker 1: he's bringing his girlfriend. I don't care who he bringing.
- 18:45Speaker 1: Warming on her though, warming on him? Oh, me and
- 18:49Speaker 1: him ain't gonna get along ship. Oh okay, I thought
- 18:52Speaker 1: your men on her nor own wife. No, man, you
- 18:58Speaker 1: that don't make no sense. He got to get his
- 18:59Speaker 1: own please. Yeah, he got a girlfriend, y'all going to
- 19:03Speaker 1: see y'all son or whoever son it is, spend his
- 19:06Speaker 1: own damn money, all right down, No way, I know
- 19:11Speaker 1: how cheap is he? No, we're not friends partner ever
- 19:18Speaker 1: we friends? We find to be friends. I ain't got
- 19:20Speaker 1: no damn open mind, but you eat this plenty of space.
- 19:24Speaker 1: It's very closed, been closed, all right. I'm a very
- 19:31Speaker 1: closed all right, damn near everything. Let's get to Anita
- 19:37Speaker 1: in Florida. I'm sixty two and divorced, and men tell
- 19:41Speaker 1: me I look like an older CARDI b so younger
- 19:44Speaker 1: guys approached me all the time. I was in the military,
- 19:48Speaker 1: and I'm in good physical shape. But I have a
- 19:51Speaker 1: problem keeping up with a forty four year old man
- 19:53Speaker 1: that I'm dating. He's into all kinds of different positions,
- 19:56Speaker 1: and I go along with it, and then I suffer
- 19:59Speaker 1: the next day. I soak an ebbs and salt and
- 20:01Speaker 1: use my heating pad when he please. Because of all
- 20:05Speaker 1: the great sexts, it's taking a toll on my body.
- 20:08Speaker 1: Is there a way to tell him to take it
- 20:09Speaker 1: easy without running him off? Yeah? You could just say
- 20:13Speaker 1: hold on, hold on, whore you too much? You know
- 20:16Speaker 1: you what you do is compliment him out here, shout
- 20:20Speaker 1: out you, Miss Sloan. Laugh, you know you gotta come now?
- 20:23Speaker 1: You got slow? Who are you taking me too much?
- 20:25Speaker 1: Why can't breathe? You're the best I ever hate? Why
- 20:32Speaker 1: you find to break me if you don't stop? All right,
- 20:36Speaker 1: I think we get the picture. I think we get
- 20:37Speaker 1: the message. Clad. Thank you for all the great advice.
- 20:43Speaker 1: Coming up next, running that frank back right after this,
- 20:49Speaker 1: you're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show coming up at
- 20:53Speaker 1: the top of the hour. Miss Anna's standing by with
- 20:56Speaker 1: Today's national news and an entertainment news R. Kelly was
- 21:00Speaker 1: beaten up. He's still in jail. You know, we're gonna
- 21:03Speaker 1: talk about all of these stories at the top of
- 21:05Speaker 1: the hour, but right now the nephew is here. Would
- 21:09Speaker 1: run that prank back? What's you guy for us? Now?
- 21:12Speaker 1: The voice papers, divorce papers, Let's go, cat Doll. Hello, Hello, Yeah,
- 21:22Speaker 1: I am trying to reach a Jones. Please. My name
- 21:25Speaker 1: is Attorney Guidry from the fish In Law firm. Is
- 21:28Speaker 1: she available? How you doing man? I'm actually trying to
- 21:32Speaker 1: get some business rectified dealing with your divorce that took place,
- 21:36Speaker 1: I guess over the last seven whole years. I correct, correct,
- 21:40Speaker 1: I got some file up with your paperwork here. Now
- 21:42Speaker 1: you guys had some property that you owned together, I
- 21:45Speaker 1: believe in Avondale, Am I correct? Correct? I'm looking at
- 21:48Speaker 1: your paperwork here, miss Jones. Okay, now we're getting down
- 21:54Speaker 1: to the property, and that seems to be where the
- 21:55Speaker 1: problem lies. In Avondale, you guys had some property and
- 21:59Speaker 1: you sold it as you both went and split your ways. Right. Um,
- 22:04Speaker 1: looking at the paperwork that I have here, it seems
- 22:06Speaker 1: like it was filled out incorrectly. I don't know how
- 22:09Speaker 1: seven years has passed for this to come back and
- 22:12Speaker 1: fall on my desk to be to get rectified. But um,
- 22:16Speaker 1: whatever the dividends were that you guys took and shared that,
- 22:21Speaker 1: you're now looking as if you're owing mister Jones an
- 22:25Speaker 1: additional eighteen thousand dollars What I ma'am, I don't know.
- 22:32Speaker 1: I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but
- 22:34Speaker 1: I wanted to bring this information to you and see
- 22:36Speaker 1: how we can get it rectified. I'm not looking for
- 22:39Speaker 1: you to have that much money available at today, but
- 22:43Speaker 1: I do know as a as an attorney for mister Jones,
- 22:46Speaker 1: I must say that we're trying to get it taken
- 22:48Speaker 1: care of as soon as possible. How do I owe
- 22:54Speaker 1: him eighteen thousand? I'm well, the paperwork here, ma'am seems
- 22:59Speaker 1: to be. Yeah, what the PaperWorks say. It wasn't supposed
- 23:02Speaker 1: to be fifty percent fifty percent between you and what
- 23:05Speaker 1: you are. It should have been seventy five twenty five.
- 23:07Speaker 1: And he'd been seventy five percent of the property owed
- 23:10Speaker 1: to him and twenty five percent. I don't know how
- 23:14Speaker 1: you know, Louisa as a community to practicing, how could
- 23:16Speaker 1: he get seventy five percent and mean I get twenty
- 23:19Speaker 1: five from my understanding that he paid most of the
- 23:22Speaker 1: bills when you guys were living together, and I don't
- 23:25Speaker 1: have anything to do with that. No, he didn't pay
- 23:27Speaker 1: most of the bills. I work and contribute to right,
- 23:31Speaker 1: and I understand that. But if I understand from what
- 23:33Speaker 1: I have here on the paperwork, and I understand that
- 23:36Speaker 1: you'd had some contribution to it, but it just seems
- 23:38Speaker 1: like you did not contribute as much as he did.
- 23:41Speaker 1: And yes, empty I never heard like this. I do apologize, man,
- 23:46Speaker 1: but what I do need you to do is definitely
- 23:48Speaker 1: not use that type of language while I'm on the phone. Okay, Well, look,
- 23:51Speaker 1: I don't really have to talk to you because I
- 23:53Speaker 1: know I don't know. I don't owe no John's no
- 23:56Speaker 1: eighteen thousand dollars, and he didn't overpay me because there
- 24:00Speaker 1: was communitive property. I had two children for him, definitely
- 24:03Speaker 1: none yet everything and there's no weight I'm going to
- 24:06Speaker 1: pay him, no eighteen thousand dollars. Mam. I hate to
- 24:08Speaker 1: get a little up rough with you, but you are
- 24:10Speaker 1: going to pay this eighteen thousand dollars. Now, that's going
- 24:13Speaker 1: to happen. Now. If I have to garnish your check
- 24:15Speaker 1: and do it, then that's the way it will have
- 24:17Speaker 1: to be done. But the money will be coming to
- 24:19Speaker 1: mister Kirk Jones in the sum of eighteen thousand. Call
- 24:23Speaker 1: it back. Yeah, Look, don't you hang up on me again.
- 24:28Speaker 1: Now if I have to put a lean on your
- 24:29Speaker 1: property or put a lean on your which one do
- 24:32Speaker 1: you want? Look, and you don't talk to me, last set,
- 24:35Speaker 1: I talk to you anyway I want to talk about
- 24:37Speaker 1: because once I want to call that all that was
- 24:40Speaker 1: over with. You're gonna pay eighteen thousand dollars. That's what
- 24:44Speaker 1: you're gonna do. Now. I don't want to have to
- 24:47Speaker 1: come in your house, ma'am to pick up this money,
- 24:49Speaker 1: but I will. I'm not working. I want a little hogstool.
- 24:52Speaker 1: I have to pay him eighteen dollars. See, you're not working.
- 24:55Speaker 1: That's our problem from the start. That's why it wasn't
- 24:58Speaker 1: fifty fifty. That's why it was seventy twenty five, because
- 25:00Speaker 1: you were not holding. If I work off to the
- 25:03Speaker 1: year upstairs, that made twenty six years and I worked, Well,
- 25:07Speaker 1: what is your butt doing now? Nothing? Well, there we go.
- 25:11Speaker 1: That seems to be the root of our problem, isn't it. No,
- 25:13Speaker 1: that ain't the rule of no problem, because I want
- 25:15Speaker 1: to know how did Kirker get a eighteen percent and
- 25:18Speaker 1: weave that as a communitive property? He has yes lawyer,
- 25:22Speaker 1: and I had my lawyer. He agreed to and that
- 25:24Speaker 1: was dead. So I don't know how I owe him
- 25:26Speaker 1: eighteen thousand. Man. That's the way the problem was. Evidently
- 25:30Speaker 1: you didn't read the paperwork that you signed when you
- 25:33Speaker 1: and Kurt separated seven years ago. Now, if you didn't
- 25:35Speaker 1: read your paperwork correctly, this is why it comes back
- 25:38Speaker 1: to bite you and you But oh no, it's not
- 25:40Speaker 1: because I had a lawyer, and he had, yes, a lawyer.
- 25:44Speaker 1: We agree with that. It was back and forward, and
- 25:47Speaker 1: we agree with everything he signed a paper that was done. Well,
- 25:50Speaker 1: maybe you didn't have a lawyer that was worth for
- 25:52Speaker 1: damn who didn't read the bottom of the paperwork himself.
- 25:55Speaker 1: And I had a lawyer, thought I had a good lawyer.
- 25:58Speaker 1: And I understand that man, that happens a lot of
- 26:01Speaker 1: a lot of time. I can't believe that. And I
- 26:04Speaker 1: had two children struggle with him, and we got what
- 26:06Speaker 1: we got by both of us work and this a
- 26:09Speaker 1: he gonna come back and an oh no, I'm gonna
- 26:12Speaker 1: fight this. When can we expect the payment starting to
- 26:15Speaker 1: work on this eighteen thousand? I don't know. Well, I
- 26:18Speaker 1: mean I'm gonna have to get a date or something
- 26:20Speaker 1: where I can start getting five hundred dollars from you
- 26:23Speaker 1: per month or something like that, Yes, five hundred a month.
- 26:27Speaker 1: I haven't worked. I was working, and when you want
- 26:30Speaker 1: to set it, I don't think I should have to
- 26:31Speaker 1: tell tell you all this because I need to get
- 26:34Speaker 1: talked to me a lawyer, because I'm not agreeing to anything,
- 26:37Speaker 1: because I don't think that it's not fair. I tell
- 26:41Speaker 1: you give me a dead night because I'm gonna have
- 26:43Speaker 1: to get me a lawyer, asn't it. I'm trying to
- 26:46Speaker 1: keep my compos as an attorney, ma'am. How do you
- 26:50Speaker 1: have the writer? And I don't have no faith? So
- 26:52Speaker 1: over there you are? You have you remarried? No, I haven't. Okay,
- 26:57Speaker 1: you realize if I don't get the money, then I
- 27:00Speaker 1: don't get paid. Right Listen, I'm gonna be down in
- 27:03Speaker 1: your area probably on Wednesday. Do you think you and
- 27:07Speaker 1: I can get together and probably talk about this because
- 27:09Speaker 1: I want to help you as much as I can. Yeah,
- 27:11Speaker 1: because I don't think it's fair to me Wednesday wed
- 27:14Speaker 1: I'm not I could be there. Well you think that maybe? Yeah,
- 27:19Speaker 1: you and I can get together maybe and work something man, Yeah,
- 27:21Speaker 1: because I know I'm not. I mean, I cannot afford
- 27:24Speaker 1: to pick Johnson or eighteen hundred, you know, took the
- 27:27Speaker 1: house from it for a little or nothing. And I'll
- 27:30Speaker 1: tell you what, I'll tell you what I'll do this.
- 27:32Speaker 1: I won't. I won't tell mister Jones anything but only
- 27:35Speaker 1: on one condition. That's me, and you've been able to
- 27:37Speaker 1: work this thing out behind closed doors. What you mean
- 27:40Speaker 1: work it out? I mean work it out what do
- 27:42Speaker 1: you mean? What do you think I mean? I don't know.
- 27:45Speaker 1: Tell me, well, maybe you know, like I'm dumb, some
- 27:50Speaker 1: relations or something. Why would you want a relationship with me?
- 27:55Speaker 1: That relationship but just you know, maybe kind of kicking
- 28:00Speaker 1: take care you what? Wait, I'm dumb, I don't know.
- 28:03Speaker 1: I don't know nothing about life. I think you know
- 28:06Speaker 1: a whole line about life. But why is you messl
- 28:10Speaker 1: with me? I just want to see if we can
- 28:12Speaker 1: maybe get together. I'll throw all his paperwork out and
- 28:14Speaker 1: I'll let no it's not possible, but you meet me Wednesday.
- 28:19Speaker 1: I'll make this thing go away. I don't believe. I'll
- 28:23Speaker 1: tell you what else. You ain't gonna believe. This is
- 28:25Speaker 1: nephew Tommy from the Steve Harvey More Than Show. You
- 28:28Speaker 1: just got pranked by your sister Janis. You know good.
- 28:38Speaker 1: I got Janis on the phone, I got her, I
- 28:41Speaker 1: got her grand baby on the phone, and you just
- 28:45Speaker 1: got by the whole family. Yeah, I'm gonna kick you
- 28:55Speaker 1: all right, Thank you, nephew. Coming up at the top
- 28:58Speaker 1: of the hour, King of Franks some entertainment news. Right
- 29:01Speaker 1: after this, you're listening to the Stave Hardy Morning Show
- 29:07Speaker 1: and Entertainment news. R Kelly got beaten up in jail
- 29:11Speaker 1: and the guards did nothing, nothing to stop it. At
- 29:14Speaker 1: least that's what his lawyers are claiming, and a new
- 29:17Speaker 1: court filing they also claim they've got video of the
- 29:20Speaker 1: incident that allegedly happened in August at Chicago's Metropolitan Correctional Center.
- 29:25Speaker 1: Jeremiah Farmer reportedly punched r Kelly to get media attention
- 29:29Speaker 1: for himself, and while the guard ordered Jeremiah to stop,
- 29:33Speaker 1: that wasn't until the assault was well underway. Meanwhile, Robert
- 29:38Speaker 1: is said to suffer significant physical and psychological injuries from
- 29:43Speaker 1: the attack. And for the record, Robert is facing federal
- 29:47Speaker 1: and state charges in Illinois, including child pornography and aggravated
- 29:51Speaker 1: criminal sexual abuse, and federal charges in New York including
- 29:54Speaker 1: racketeering and sex trafficking. He has pleaded not guilty to
- 29:59Speaker 1: all charges. Robert, Robert, he should have flew. You always
- 30:05Speaker 1: be telling me I believe I can fly. He should
- 30:07Speaker 1: have be flying nowhere. He's in jail for a long time.
- 30:13Speaker 1: About sorry, Robert ain't the only one got his ass
- 30:16Speaker 1: whoop in jail last week. Who will? There's a whole
- 30:19Speaker 1: lot of ass women having me jail. Yeah, that's just
- 30:21Speaker 1: the one they reported. And this ass women happened in August.
- 30:26Speaker 1: Why is it's October? Just found out? Try to get out?
- 30:36Speaker 1: How many more coming? Man? Y'all know they whooped my
- 30:39Speaker 1: hands back? And what this is? Nothing about it on
- 30:44Speaker 1: the radio and uh and would you say, Junior, it's
- 30:52Speaker 1: hard to get that message out of prison. You know
- 30:54Speaker 1: you gotta very and the other entertainment news Tiger Kings
- 31:02Speaker 1: Carol Baskin. We all know who she is, re remembered her,
- 31:05Speaker 1: remember her? She announced during an interview on Pink News
- 31:08Speaker 1: that she is bisexual and she might have been born
- 31:11Speaker 1: in the wrong body because she grew up as a tomboy.
- 31:14Speaker 1: Carol said she married Howard Baskin after first husband Don
- 31:18Speaker 1: Lewis mysterious disappearance. But she says she could have easily
- 31:24Speaker 1: married a woman. Okay, what is she trying to confuse
- 31:27Speaker 1: us here? Throw us off? What is she trying to do?
- 31:30Speaker 1: The way people come up missing food with her? That's
- 31:32Speaker 1: all I know? People come up here. Yeah, yeah, it
- 31:34Speaker 1: had been a woman happened. Yeah, So you're saying if
- 31:38Speaker 1: she had married a woman, she would have came up missing.
- 31:40Speaker 1: Come up, miss who would Well, after that statement, you'd
- 31:43Speaker 1: be pretty much scared off all the fine chicks. What
- 31:50Speaker 1: has she done with that husband? Yeah, where's done? Yeah
- 31:55Speaker 1: that's what we want. Now. Yeah, since you're doing interviews
- 31:58Speaker 1: and where is the title? Why was you an Dancing
- 32:06Speaker 1: with the Star? That's ah, there you go. Huh. I
- 32:12Speaker 1: didn't get star. I didn't get to see her performance
- 32:16Speaker 1: before she got kicked off. Huh. I promise you. I
- 32:23Speaker 1: have no idea why she was on there. I know
- 32:27Speaker 1: she wore her leopard and tiger and lion print. Yeah,
- 32:35Speaker 1: you know what she called star. Yeah, and I think
- 32:39Speaker 1: maybe they thought she would be a draw because of
- 32:41Speaker 1: all the success of Tiger King, you know, during the
- 32:44Speaker 1: summer months, and maybe get her on there and you
- 32:47Speaker 1: know more people would watch. But it didn't watch struggling her. Yeah,
- 32:51Speaker 1: well she didn't. Nobody like her. Now you want to
- 32:53Speaker 1: get some people to watch it. Get that dude out
- 32:56Speaker 1: of jail, exotic. Oh yeah, all right, right, all right, Steve,
- 33:04Speaker 1: time to move along. Let's to read Joe to mthan
- 33:08Speaker 1: Ladies and gentlemen, thank you very much. This is a
- 33:12Speaker 1: trip with the news, everybody. Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer is
- 33:15Speaker 1: accusing President Trump of inciting domestic terrorism. At a rally
- 33:19Speaker 1: in Michigan on Saturday, the President criticized Governor Whitmer's efforts
- 33:23Speaker 1: to contain the coronavirus in her state by setting down
- 33:27Speaker 1: certain businesses and institutions. His supporters chanted lock her up,
- 33:30Speaker 1: lock her up. In response, Whitmer was on NBC's Meet
- 33:33Speaker 1: the Press. We are in the midst of a pandemic
- 33:37Speaker 1: in any case, so she was saying that, you know,
- 33:39Speaker 1: it's it's a very big problem because she feels he
- 33:42Speaker 1: incites violence and other things. Donald Trump also made fun
- 33:45Speaker 1: of the plot to kidnap Whitmer, which was luckily discovered
- 33:48Speaker 1: and foiled by the FBI. Virus. Presidential candidate Kamala Harris
- 33:52Speaker 1: was back on the campaign trail yesterday after staying at
- 33:55Speaker 1: home for a few days after one of her staffers
- 33:57Speaker 1: tested positive for the coronavirus. The Senate was in Jacksonville,
- 34:01Speaker 1: Florida yesterday, where she spoke to the mask wearing crowd
- 34:04Speaker 1: patiently standing in a long, long line outside of a
- 34:07Speaker 1: polling place in the pouring rain. Why are these powerful
- 34:10Speaker 1: people trying to make it so difficult for us to vote?
- 34:13Speaker 1: And here is the answer, because they know our power.
- 34:17Speaker 1: They know when we vote, we win. Yesterday was the
- 34:21Speaker 1: first day of early in person voting inside the Sunshine
- 34:24Speaker 1: State Alafiet Indiana policeman has been caned for participating in
- 34:28Speaker 1: a neo Nazi web forum called Iron March. According to reports,
- 34:33Speaker 1: officer Joseph Zacharek outed for taking part in the fascist
- 34:37Speaker 1: forum on Twitter. He's now been fired, by the way.
- 34:40Speaker 1: Most of the nation's police unions say they're supporting Donald Trump,
- 34:43Speaker 1: but most black cops say those union heads do not
- 34:47Speaker 1: speak for them. Election day hasn't derived yet, but the
- 34:50Speaker 1: voters in Alabama have already broken their state's record for
- 34:53Speaker 1: casting absent to e ballots. Alabama officials say that by
- 34:56Speaker 1: last Tuesday, over ninety one thousand absentee ballots had been received.
- 35:00Speaker 1: The previous record for that was eighty nine thousand, and
- 35:02Speaker 1: that was for the whole time up to election day.
- 35:05Speaker 1: The nation's largest business lobby, the US Chamber of Commerce,
- 35:10Speaker 1: is backing vulnerable Democrats for re election this year. The
- 35:13Speaker 1: Chamber is technically a nonpartisan organization, but it's pro business,
- 35:17Speaker 1: so it usually and historically has aligned itself with Republicans.
- 35:22Speaker 1: But you know, that's still the case, actually, because the
- 35:24Speaker 1: Chamber is still endorsing more than six times as many
- 35:27Speaker 1: GOP members of the House than Democrats, but then backing
- 35:30Speaker 1: vulnerable Democrats is something new and different thorities say. The
- 35:33Speaker 1: travel between Canada, US and Mexico is to remain restricted
- 35:38Speaker 1: for at least another month thanks to spiking coronavirus numbers
- 35:41Speaker 1: in some places. Officials in all three countries agree that
- 35:44Speaker 1: non essential travel between the three nations will not be
- 35:46Speaker 1: allowed until November twenty first. Today is Multi Cultural Diversity Day,
- 35:52Speaker 1: So celebrate yourself and your family and your background. Now
- 35:56Speaker 1: back to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. You're listening to
- 35:59Speaker 1: this day morning show. In trending political news, the United
- 36:04Speaker 1: Steelworkers Union shined the Biden Harris logo on the Trump
- 36:08Speaker 1: Tower in Chicago as they encouraged people who vote I
- 36:14Speaker 1: love it Yeah. According to NBC five Chicago, the union
- 36:19Speaker 1: is calling this their bat signal light. The labor union
- 36:23Speaker 1: represents about eight hundred and fifty thousand members across the country,
- 36:28Speaker 1: encouraging people to vote in especially Michigan, at Minnesota, Ohio, Pennsylvania,
- 36:34Speaker 1: and Wisconsin. Okay. Meanwhile, the union was encouraging people to vote.
- 36:40Speaker 1: President Trump called doctor Anthony Fauci a disaster and an idiot,
- 36:45Speaker 1: and just complained that Americans are tired of hearing from
- 36:48Speaker 1: these idiots who got it wrong. The coronavirus has risen
- 36:52Speaker 1: to his highest level since late July. He's calling people
- 36:58Speaker 1: it is idiots work. That's a cold move. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 37:03Speaker 1: I saw it too. I saw it on the news.
- 37:05Speaker 1: The batlight biding hairs. That was dope. Yeah, Trump, somebody
- 37:16Speaker 1: sent me a picture there. Okay, man, I know right,
- 37:24Speaker 1: because because he's telling the truth. Yeah, because Fouci is
- 37:27Speaker 1: telling the truth. You know what, scientist. He won't even
- 37:32Speaker 1: on Gilligan Island. We ain't listen to the millionaire. We
- 37:34Speaker 1: listen to the professor. Everything. I can't nobody listening to
- 37:39Speaker 1: the millionaire. The professor knew at all. Yeah, but um yeah,
- 37:46Speaker 1: that I mean I respected doctor who was, you know,
- 37:51Speaker 1: been counsel to all these different presidents. It didn't matter
- 37:54Speaker 1: if you were Republican or Democrat. Doctor Foulci was always
- 37:57Speaker 1: there for them. And now all of a sudden, he's
- 38:00Speaker 1: an idiot and a disaster because from this president. Yeah,
- 38:04Speaker 1: how dare you call this doctor science? Yes? Yes, the
- 38:10Speaker 1: nation's leading doctor un infectious disease won't go along with
- 38:16Speaker 1: Trump's nonsense. Yes, he will not lie to the public
- 38:21Speaker 1: and cause more deaths and more cases. Yeah, Donald Trump
- 38:26Speaker 1: wants it to make like it's nothing. It's going away.
- 38:29Speaker 1: Let's get back to work, Let's get back to normal soul.
- 38:33Speaker 1: He can have herd immunity come into place, and he
- 38:37Speaker 1: can get re elected. That's all he cares about is
- 38:41Speaker 1: getting re elected. And stay off my damn page talking
- 38:46Speaker 1: about Trump because I'm Biden and Harris. Okay, yeah, damn day.
- 38:57Speaker 1: Loan is ahead, all right, thank you. Coming up. At
- 39:01Speaker 1: thirty four minutes after the hour, Donald Trump dropped money
- 39:04Speaker 1: into the church collection bucket in Las Vegas. So I'm
- 39:08Speaker 1: sure we'll hear from Reverend Motown and Deacon def Jam
- 39:11Speaker 1: right after this. You're listening to show President Trump in
- 39:18Speaker 1: what appeared to be a few twenty dollars bills, he
- 39:22Speaker 1: put that into the collection plate at the International Church
- 39:25Speaker 1: of Las Vegas. The President doug the cash out of
- 39:29Speaker 1: his right pocket. He fingered the bills and fanned through
- 39:32Speaker 1: them repeatedly before dropping them in the collection plate. The
- 39:36Speaker 1: president was in Vegas on a campaign trail in Nevada
- 39:40Speaker 1: as a crucial battleground state, so that wash. This is
- 39:51Speaker 1: a short all right. Sermon is designed aim and a

- 43:48Speaker 1: Jan It is fourteen days until the election. Go to
- 43:52Speaker 1: vote dot org and get your early voting location. Coming
- 43:54Speaker 1: up next, it is the Nephew with today's prank phone call.
- 43:58Speaker 1: Right after this, you're listening Stave Harvey Morning Show. Coming
- 44:03Speaker 1: up at the top of the hour. Right about four
- 44:05Speaker 1: minutes after, it's my strawberry letter for today. The subject
- 44:09Speaker 1: is this is a messy situation. This is a messy situation,
- 44:15Speaker 1: aren't they all? But right now the Nephew is here
- 44:18Speaker 1: for today's frank phone call. What you got for us? Now, Well, Sharaly,
- 44:22Speaker 1: we know Pastor just preached that thing the last break
- 44:26Speaker 1: and we're just gonna we're gonna, we're gonna stay right
- 44:28Speaker 1: there in there. You know this that today's silence called
- 44:32Speaker 1: Jim Gem that's God's Eyes missionary, Gods Eyes missionary. Let's go,
- 44:42Speaker 1: cat Dog. Hello, Hello, I'm trying to reach Clarence. Clarence. Yeah,
- 44:49Speaker 1: how are you doing, Clarence? This is Daddy us Man.
- 44:51Speaker 1: I'm over at the church, man, uncle, about this church
- 44:54Speaker 1: where you're a member of? Right, Oh yeah, hey, what's okay? Hey,
- 44:59Speaker 1: I'm with the g MS man and uh you you
- 45:01Speaker 1: you actually came to uh this past service, correct Gems,
- 45:07Speaker 1: the gems. That's that's uh God's Eyes missionary and and
- 45:12Speaker 1: basically what we do is we watch what's going on,
- 45:16Speaker 1: you know in the in the church, who's coming, who
- 45:19Speaker 1: hasn't come? And uh, you know, I don't mean any harm,
- 45:23Speaker 1: but this this if my records indicate me right uh
- 45:26Speaker 1: through um my God's as minister the gems looking at
- 45:30Speaker 1: my books, looks like this is your first time at
- 45:33Speaker 1: the church this year? Correct? Yeah, I mean what can
- 45:38Speaker 1: I do for you? Okay? Now, when pastor asked for
- 45:40Speaker 1: all the visitors to stand, you actually did not stand? Correct? No, no,
- 45:45Speaker 1: I'm remember because you remember there we go. Now you
- 45:47Speaker 1: you still work for um uh you you you work
- 45:51Speaker 1: for them? Yeah. Okay. Now what we've done is we've
- 45:54Speaker 1: averaged it out that you what what what is this?
- 45:56Speaker 1: What is this? I mean, what is this about? Okay,
- 45:59Speaker 1: I'm on my way to it. So so you probably
- 46:01Speaker 1: are you um averaging about what between forty and fifty
- 46:05Speaker 1: thousand dollars on a yearly basis over there week I
- 46:08Speaker 1: mean that. But yeah, go ahead, problem see what we're
- 46:13Speaker 1: looking at. Since since you all member, because see you
- 46:15Speaker 1: did not stand when he said all members, since you
- 46:18Speaker 1: did not stand up, which what you right there making
- 46:21Speaker 1: the you know you're you're you're clarifying that you are
- 46:24Speaker 1: a member, and you're making about we're gonna roughly say
- 46:27Speaker 1: about forty five thousand dollars, Yeah, which means ten percent
- 46:30Speaker 1: is forty five hundred. Now we looked at the we
- 46:33Speaker 1: looked at the books and noticed that you put in
- 46:37Speaker 1: fifty dollars in the church on this past east on Sunday. Now,
- 46:41Speaker 1: if you put fifty dollars in you know where close
- 46:44Speaker 1: see when you're gonna start cutting into this forty five
- 46:47Speaker 1: hundred dollars that you ought to be paying your ties?
- 46:51Speaker 1: What's your name? Like I said, sir, my name is Staddus,
- 46:54Speaker 1: Staddius will a man rock God. Yet you have robbed
- 46:57Speaker 1: me where in tie? See you? You you you are
- 47:00Speaker 1: Wait wait minute, hold on, hold a second. You got
- 47:03Speaker 1: you got all the stuff going on to the church.
- 47:05Speaker 1: You you got uh, you got hungry people, you got
- 47:09Speaker 1: people that need salvation and whatever but you calling me
- 47:12Speaker 1: about about some money that I haven't given to the church. Well,
- 47:16Speaker 1: we'll see. And that's what your ministry does, y'all. Call
- 47:18Speaker 1: y'all spend all morning calling people. My job, sir, as
- 47:23Speaker 1: a gym God's Eyes ministry, my job is to keep
- 47:27Speaker 1: an eye on what's going on at the church. Now,
- 47:31Speaker 1: when are you gonna start cutting into your tie? You
- 47:33Speaker 1: forty five hundred dollars day? We see, this is why
- 47:36Speaker 1: we can't get the extra wing that pastor wants to
- 47:39Speaker 1: put on, because people are like you. This isn't why,
- 47:41Speaker 1: but what you know what man? You hold on a second? Um?
- 47:46Speaker 1: First of all, let me explain something to your brother
- 47:48Speaker 1: Thaddy guself. Whatever the ministry you are with, Faddy is okay,
- 47:52Speaker 1: that's fine. Listen, Hey, I don't even have to explain
- 47:55Speaker 1: this to you, but let me explain something to you.
- 47:56Speaker 1: All right. I'm this is a one job household. This
- 48:00Speaker 1: is all we do. This is a one job household.
- 48:02Speaker 1: My wife don't work, but my wife comes to church
- 48:05Speaker 1: every Sunday and she pays the tides that have you
- 48:08Speaker 1: checked as the gym ministry, have y'all looked at her tides?
- 48:12Speaker 1: Her ties ain't got nothing to do with you. You
- 48:16Speaker 1: understand you have to pay your tides? Will a man
- 48:21Speaker 1: rob God? Yet ye have rob you are robbing the Lord.
- 48:26Speaker 1: A brother, Clarence, you know what, man? You know? That's
- 48:29Speaker 1: you know? And you wonder why people don't come to
- 48:31Speaker 1: church all the time. You know, how are you gonna
- 48:32Speaker 1: tell me that I could be giving my tide somewhere else?
- 48:35Speaker 1: I am the secretary. I am the gym's secretary. God's
- 48:38Speaker 1: eyes ministry, and my eyes have shown me that you've
- 48:42Speaker 1: only given fifty dollars. You're making forty five thousand dollars
- 48:47Speaker 1: from the church. I don't know if that is something.
- 48:51Speaker 1: I'll tell you that when who is. Yes, I have,
- 48:55Speaker 1: but that's not none of their business. That's I know.
- 48:58Speaker 1: I know I know what to do him calling people
- 49:00Speaker 1: and asking them if they're panis I got this? I
- 49:03Speaker 1: got this? Let me let me handle Yeah, yeah, you know,
- 49:06Speaker 1: I got it. I got to knock got him, I
- 49:07Speaker 1: got him, I got I know, I know, I know
- 49:10Speaker 1: who who? Who? Who? Who? Who? Who was that sir?
- 49:12Speaker 1: That's my wife that's been paying. That's my wife been paying.
- 49:14Speaker 1: I tied. That's right. Oh okay, I don't have nothing
- 49:20Speaker 1: in my books that say y'all paid three hundred dollars
- 49:24Speaker 1: on the count. If she said we paid three hundred dollars,
- 49:26Speaker 1: we paid three hundred dollars. Okay, let me ask you this.
- 49:30Speaker 1: When are you gonna start cutting into death farty five
- 49:33Speaker 1: with a man robbed God? Yet you have robbed me.
- 49:38Speaker 1: That is what you are doing, sir. Well, you know
- 49:40Speaker 1: what you're robbing me right now. You're robbing me right
- 49:43Speaker 1: now of my time where I could go out. I
- 49:45Speaker 1: gotta be work. I can't go get dressed right now
- 49:48Speaker 1: because I'm on the phone with you. I have to
- 49:50Speaker 1: be at work in half an hour. You robbed me
- 49:52Speaker 1: right now of my time. Let me ask you something.
- 49:55Speaker 1: Can you bring your tax return into what I can
- 49:58Speaker 1: take a look at it my tax with turn you know,
- 50:00Speaker 1: I'll tell you what. I'll bring my tax return if
- 50:03Speaker 1: everybody else bring their tax return. If you bring your
- 50:05Speaker 1: tax return and pass to bring your tax return, then
- 50:08Speaker 1: I'll bring my tax return. We can have a tax
- 50:10Speaker 1: return party. When will your tax return? When? Can you
- 50:14Speaker 1: can you fax it to me? Are you serious? I mean?
- 50:17Speaker 1: I mean, I mean, if it's is, if it's not
- 50:20Speaker 1: too much to ask, listen, I'm gonna be honest with you.
- 50:24Speaker 1: The next time you do come to church, we're gonna
- 50:26Speaker 1: pat you down because we're gonna have to figure out,
- 50:29Speaker 1: Oh hollo, you're gonna past me down to next time
- 50:31Speaker 1: I come to church and then lay hands on you. Okay,
- 50:34Speaker 1: let me ask you this. Do you are you all
- 50:36Speaker 1: salary at the church? Yeah? But what does but what does?
- 50:39Speaker 1: What does? What does that have to do with anything?
- 50:41Speaker 1: I need to know what you ain't ain't gotten you look, look,
- 50:45Speaker 1: it ain't got nothing. When you're gonna bring your forty
- 50:47Speaker 1: five hundred dollars down so we can add it, so
- 50:49Speaker 1: we can get the wing put on. I'm part of
- 50:52Speaker 1: the jams. You'll bring your money down him, Clarence, isn't
- 50:56Speaker 1: it a dog? Let me tell you something. I don't
- 50:58Speaker 1: know who you are. I don't know what this of
- 51:00Speaker 1: the street. I'm with the gyms. Where can we expt it? Man?
- 51:02Speaker 1: I don't I don't care. I don't give it you
- 51:04Speaker 1: know what ever says, I don't care anything about your
- 51:07Speaker 1: gym ministry. I don't care about you, man, I don't
- 51:09Speaker 1: care about any of that. Where you're gonna play this
- 51:12Speaker 1: ten percent? Man, let me tell you something. Dollars and
- 51:14Speaker 1: just this for real. Don't call my house no more.
- 51:16Speaker 1: With this, with this stuff, you about to make a
- 51:18Speaker 1: brother go off. I mean, seriously, in this economy, in
- 51:21Speaker 1: this economy, you talk to me about about me tied
- 51:23Speaker 1: and fifty dollars. I'm trying. I'm trying to put a
- 51:24Speaker 1: dollar through college. I'm trying to set a sun through
- 51:26Speaker 1: private school, and I can't get that done. I'm trying
- 51:28Speaker 1: to keep lights on the way, dude. That have to
- 51:31Speaker 1: do with the church. I already told you. I don't
- 51:33Speaker 1: get ready to hang up. And if you want to
- 51:35Speaker 1: meet me and whatever you're gonna do and whatever, then
- 51:38Speaker 1: that's fine. Joe. I need to tell you something else
- 51:40Speaker 1: about your job. You ain't telling me nothing about my job.
- 51:43Speaker 1: You have to tell me. I need to tell you
- 51:45Speaker 1: something about your job. Dude, I'm gonna hang up this phone.
- 51:48Speaker 1: Is they a man named Chapman at your job? Yeah?
- 51:51Speaker 1: I know, Yes, Chapmen at my job? Okay, Yeah, and

- 51:57Speaker 1: Chapman is the one that got me to call you.

- 54:29Speaker 1: it for you. Here. It is the Strawberry Letter. Subject.
- 54:32Speaker 1: This is a messy situation. Dear Stephen Shirley. I'm a
- 54:36Speaker 1: fifty one year old single male, and I was dating
- 54:39Speaker 1: one of the sweetest women I'd ever met. I spent
- 54:42Speaker 1: a lot of time trying to impress her by pretending
- 54:45Speaker 1: to be a foodie and acting like I'm into fine
- 54:49Speaker 1: wines because that's what she likes. Sunday, we went to
- 54:52Speaker 1: an Italian restaurant and we shared a pasta dish that
- 54:55Speaker 1: had a heavy cream sauce with cheese and asparagus, and
- 54:59Speaker 1: we drank a bottle of wine. We had chocolate and
- 55:02Speaker 1: vanilla gelotto for dessert. She invited me to sleep over
- 55:06Speaker 1: at her house, and I knew it might not be
- 55:09Speaker 1: a good idea. My stomach isn't what it used to be,
- 55:13Speaker 1: and I typically avoid any type of dairy food, especially
- 55:17Speaker 1: at night. Needless to say, I couldn't sleep and I
- 55:23Speaker 1: had to excuse myself several times to go to the bathroom.
- 55:26Speaker 1: I was so embarrassed I decided to leave the next day.
- 55:30Speaker 1: I sent flowers to her job to apologize. She sent
- 55:34Speaker 1: me a thank you to X, but I was hoping
- 55:37Speaker 1: she'd called me to thank me. A few days went
- 55:40Speaker 1: by and things got awkward because I hadn't heard from her.
- 55:43Speaker 1: I decided to hand deliver flowers to her job so
- 55:46Speaker 1: I could see her and talk to her in person.
- 55:49Speaker 1: I checked in with her receptionist, and when I gave
- 55:52Speaker 1: him my name, he smirked. He thought I didn't see
- 55:55Speaker 1: him tap the other receptionist and whispered something to her.
- 55:58Speaker 1: She looked right at me and started laughing. That's why
- 56:02Speaker 1: I figured out that my date had told her coworkers
- 56:05Speaker 1: what happened. I was furious and I took my flowers
- 56:08Speaker 1: and left. Since then, she called me and left a
- 56:11Speaker 1: few messages begging me to call her. I can't believe
- 56:14Speaker 1: she was that childish and messy, but I do miss her.
- 56:18Speaker 1: How should I handle this? Wow? Okay? Mistakes were made
- 56:24Speaker 1: on both sides, all right, You with pretending to be
- 56:28Speaker 1: someone you're not, and her with telling everyone at her
- 56:32Speaker 1: job about your lactose intolerance and your flatulence problem. Okay,
- 56:36Speaker 1: although it didn't make it right, I can understand why
- 56:39Speaker 1: you did what you did. Men have always tried to
- 56:42Speaker 1: impress women, always, especially women that they really wanted and stuff.
- 56:46Speaker 1: And at least you were a gentleman about it, you know,
- 56:48Speaker 1: at her house, by excusing yourself to go to the
- 56:51Speaker 1: bathroom and finally you just said this is not going
- 56:53Speaker 1: to work. I just better leave. It could have been
- 56:56Speaker 1: a whole whole lot worse. Okay, a whole lot worse.
- 57:01Speaker 1: You know, if you weren't a gentleman, you could have
- 57:03Speaker 1: just let it go. Okay. And I think it was
- 57:06Speaker 1: thoughtful of you to send flowers. Well, I mean, you
- 57:09Speaker 1: know something, and I thought it was thoughtful of you
- 57:12Speaker 1: to send flowers to her job and to personally deliver
- 57:15Speaker 1: them as well. What you did was embarrassing, but you
- 57:20Speaker 1: didn't let that stop you. And in life, people get sick.
- 57:23Speaker 1: I mean, they get gas, they get indigestion, they have
- 57:26Speaker 1: to go to the bathroom. That's life. It is what
- 57:29Speaker 1: it is. She was immature at her job and backfired
- 57:32Speaker 1: on her, and now she's calling you, begging for you
- 57:35Speaker 1: to come back. I think you guys, you know, shouldn't
- 57:39Speaker 1: throw everything away. I think you should get together talk
- 57:42Speaker 1: and I think you can. You know, time has gone by.
- 57:45Speaker 1: You can really kind of laugh at this now, because hey,
- 57:49Speaker 1: life is short. They're way, way worse things that can
- 57:52Speaker 1: happen in life. I think you guys need a do over.
- 57:55Speaker 1: You just need to reset and give each other another chance.
- 57:58Speaker 1: And by all means, sir, stay away from dairy. Okay,
- 58:02Speaker 1: just stay away just as a rule, especially at night
- 58:04Speaker 1: for you. All Right, you guys can can work through this.
- 58:07Speaker 1: I think you'll be all right. Steve, Nah, I ain't
- 58:14Speaker 1: gonna work through it, but it's gonna be a while.
- 58:18Speaker 1: This is gonna be real tricky, okay. Subject, there's a
- 58:22Speaker 1: messy situation. Fifty one year old man dat ain't one
- 58:26Speaker 1: of the sweetest women he's ever met. Spent a lot
- 58:30Speaker 1: of time trying to impress it though, Act like you
- 58:33Speaker 1: are foodie, Act like you in the fan wine because
- 58:37Speaker 1: that's where she liked. Ain't that what we do? Fellas Yes,
- 58:41Speaker 1: imp Sunday we went to an Italian restaurant. We shared
- 58:47Speaker 1: a posta dish that had heavy cream sauce with cheese
- 58:55Speaker 1: and asparagus. I don't know if you've ever yeard it.
- 59:00Speaker 1: After a lot of astrality, it is tangy. Oh it's tangy.
- 59:10Speaker 1: Now you hadd in heavy cream sauce with cheese and
- 59:15Speaker 1: you laptoas then you drank a bottle of wine frommented grapes. Boy,
- 59:22Speaker 1: frommenty grape cream salt, heavy cream, sal cheese and asparagus,
- 59:29Speaker 1: and frommenty grapes. Your stomach was in that, just body. Boy,
- 59:37Speaker 1: you didn't even have a stomach no more. Your ass
- 59:40Speaker 1: had a crock pot making a whole no dish on
- 59:48Speaker 1: we come back and then he gonna tell about my stomach.
- 59:51Speaker 1: Ain't what it used to be? Oh wait, I'll tell
- 59:54Speaker 1: you what it was when we go back. All right,
- 59:57Speaker 1: hang on, Steve, we'll have part two of your response
- 59:59Speaker 1: coming up in twenty three minutes after the hour. Subject,
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: this is a messy situation. We'll get back into the
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: mess right after this. You're listening, all right, Come on, Steve,
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: let's recap today's Strawberry letters. Subject this is a messy situation. Yeah,
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: this a messy situation. It is more message than he
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: let known in his letter. Fifty one year old stomach
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: ain't what he used to be, sweetest woman he ever met.
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: You acted like you were foodie, like you really into
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: good stuff. No, when you ain't. You know, you're just
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: a fried chicken man. But oh no, you all down
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: it the Atalian restaurant, eat eating eating heavy sauce, cheese
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: and a sparago and from minted grapes. And then I
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: already mentioned this last time. Then on top of that,
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: you added some chocolate and vanilla gelatto because your black
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: ass thought because he didn't say ice cream, it was
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: save it's lotos, damn nil, the exact same thing, just
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: cremeal and smooth. Now here you go. You didn't ate it.
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: Now you your stomach gate what it used to be,
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: and you try to avoid death dairy food because your
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: ass is laptoast, but you ain't in this ladder. You
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: know your asses laptoast, and you can't eat things eating
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: lacktoast can't colorate. I couldn't sleep, and I had to
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: excuse myself several times to go to the bathroom. I
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: was so embarrassed, I decided to leave. Then you see
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: what I think wrong with this. I think you went
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: home too late after you don't want several times to
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: the bathroom, I decided to leave your ass. I'm too loved.
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: You should have been gone when you first when when
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: you was laying in there and the coverage rolls up
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: the first time to your ass, you said, excuse me.
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: Now you went back to that and recovered y'all blew
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: it up again, took your ass right back in that
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: bad food, and you're in the bath room and you're
- 1:02:23Speaker 1: just sitting there. Fine. Really she could have the water
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: splashing out the boat. Oh my god, No, she can
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: hear because you in that The gas is loud, especially
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: when you're sitting down. You took your ass home too late.
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: Next day, I said flowers to a job to apologize.
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: She sent you a thank you text. She didn't want
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: to call you because She didn't know if it was
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: gonna come through the phone, so she text you, I
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: know you wanted a phone call, but he can't talk
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: right now. I'm still in here struggling, and I've got all.
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: It's wintertime, I got all the day and windows open
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: cold in here, bobs in there. I'm trying to add
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: this place out. I didn't had to brand these, damn.
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: She had to buy a new comfortence because you don't
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: burned the hole in it with your black to intolerance,
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: I decided. So then things got awkward because I ain't
- 1:03:28Speaker 1: heard from them. Then I tried to hand deliver the
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: flowers to her job so I can see and talk
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: to him in person. And when you checked in with
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: her reception, when I gave him my name, he smirked.
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: Then he thought I ain't seen to tap the other
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: reception and whisper something to her. She looked at me
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: and she fell out laughing. Then I figured out that
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: my date had told her co workers. They made her
- 1:03:49Speaker 1: co workers, that's her receptionists work together. They didn't heard
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: this at the switchboard and everything. I can't believe she
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: was that childish and message, see you keep saying messy
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: in this letter, This is a messy situation. Things could
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: have gotten messy. Up. I can't believe she's been in
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: this message. Hey, don can MA ask you a question?
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: What really happened in See? Ain't really been clear about
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: this this See you left a lot of stuff out.
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: You didn't tell us you was lactose intoler You didn't
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: tell us what. So my question you is, though, what
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: really happened in that that night that you said this
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: is a messy situation, doc? What did you actually do?
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: So I've come up with a couple of scenarios. I
- 1:04:41Speaker 1: think when you got up to go to the bath
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: food for you got to the bath food, you ripped
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: a couple of them off. She heard it. Then you
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: got into the bath room. See what sent you to
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: the bath room was you ripped a couple of money
- 1:04:56Speaker 1: the covers. Then what you tried to do? You try
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: to take an extra pillar and put it between you.
- 1:05:03Speaker 1: You know in a in against movie when they put
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: the gun in the pillar to use it as a solace.
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: You grabbed that pillar and try to use it as
- 1:05:12Speaker 1: a silace. But she didn't had to burn all this
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: stuff that you left. Yeah, you got in that bathroom
- 1:05:19Speaker 1: and what she heard it now was unggodly un good
- 1:05:28Speaker 1: not to mention after you left, and once again too
- 1:05:32Speaker 1: damn late after but you left back at her house.
- 1:05:38Speaker 1: She'd been dealing with that for damn nel a week.
- 1:05:43Speaker 1: She didn't had to fumigat this house and the lass off.
- 1:05:47Speaker 1: What you did? She and that burning candles and then
- 1:05:51Speaker 1: caught the curtains on fire? What did you really do
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: at that woman's house? All right, Steve, we gotta go.
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: You can do a part three if you like to
- 1:06:03Speaker 1: this letter coming up. You can post your comments on
- 1:06:05Speaker 1: Today's Strawberry Letters Harvey FM on Instagram. Lets say all right,
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: I got it for your part three coming up. All right,
- 1:06:12Speaker 1: and check out the Strawberry Letter podcast on demand coming
- 1:06:15Speaker 1: up in forty six minutes after the hour you heard
- 1:06:17Speaker 1: of Steve Harvey Part three of today's letter. This is
- 1:06:20Speaker 1: a messy situation right here, and Steve's got a mess too.
- 1:06:24Speaker 1: Right after this, you're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:06:29Speaker 1: It turns out that Steve Harvey has a little more
- 1:06:32Speaker 1: to this letter that he can't share with us. I
- 1:06:35Speaker 1: can't just let this go. This is a man right here, Yeah,
- 1:06:40Speaker 1: see this man right here? I can relate to him.
- 1:06:43Speaker 1: I've been all the girls house when I was in college,
- 1:06:46Speaker 1: and I was ill prepared for what happened because she
- 1:06:48Speaker 1: was a cajing girl, like was dating in college, and
- 1:06:52Speaker 1: she had introduced me to cage and food Louisiana creole food.
- 1:06:57Speaker 1: And I was down there eating a lot of a
- 1:06:59Speaker 1: two fane got a little spicy on and I didn't
- 1:07:01Speaker 1: My mama had always told me, whenever you got to
- 1:07:03Speaker 1: go to bathroom, you go home. Don't take your ass
- 1:07:06Speaker 1: and nobody post what you do. Can't be in front
- 1:07:09Speaker 1: of company. And so I went on in the house
- 1:07:12Speaker 1: and her mama then wasn't home. She told me about
- 1:07:15Speaker 1: your little TV. There wasn't nothing gonna happen between that.
- 1:07:17Speaker 1: She was out of my league, but I was in
- 1:07:19Speaker 1: love with it. I wanted to just watch TV, but
- 1:07:21Speaker 1: my stomach was cutting like box cutters was cutting it.
- 1:07:24Speaker 1: So I asked her could I go to the bathroom.
- 1:07:26Speaker 1: I knew I was in trouble. I started just gone
- 1:07:28Speaker 1: go home, but she was so fine, come on here
- 1:07:30Speaker 1: and know ain't nobody here? Yeah here, y'all got to go.
- 1:07:33Speaker 1: I got in the bathroom and I started using the
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: bathroom and I noticed it was kind of heavy. You know,
- 1:07:38Speaker 1: I had really had more way in there than I
- 1:07:41Speaker 1: had ever put before. It was like I had never
- 1:07:46Speaker 1: I had never used the bathroom like this before I did.
- 1:07:48Speaker 1: I was just a special kind of trouble. So I
- 1:07:50Speaker 1: was in there for a while. She even knocked on
- 1:07:52Speaker 1: the door. You don't care there, y'all. Fine on her
- 1:07:56Speaker 1: looking for some matches, and I started running water in
- 1:07:58Speaker 1: after trying something I was fan of that. They didn't
- 1:08:02Speaker 1: have no event at the house. So I was in there.
- 1:08:04Speaker 1: I was choking on it myself a little bit. And
- 1:08:07Speaker 1: so when I got up in there, I flushed the toilet.
- 1:08:09Speaker 1: And as I was standing up pulling my pants up.
- 1:08:13Speaker 1: You know how you wait to hear that the flushed sound,
- 1:08:17Speaker 1: I didn't hear, and I knew how I had flushing.
- 1:08:20Speaker 1: And I turned around in Lord her mercies Jesus, because
- 1:08:23Speaker 1: it was just circling, and I mean it was just circling,
- 1:08:28Speaker 1: going round and round. And I said, and that's when
- 1:08:31Speaker 1: I went to God. I said, God, listen to me.
- 1:08:33Speaker 1: He said, the time for this right here, Father God,
- 1:08:36Speaker 1: Please Jesus take the water. I ain't asked you to
- 1:08:39Speaker 1: let me walk on water, but if you could just
- 1:08:41Speaker 1: subside the water in Jesus's name. And I looked down
- 1:08:45Speaker 1: there and then kept swirling, and I didn't know what
- 1:08:48Speaker 1: to do, and it was fitting to fall over, and
- 1:08:50Speaker 1: so I said, man, I gotta get some of this
- 1:08:51Speaker 1: out of here, and I didn't know how, and so
- 1:08:54Speaker 1: they had a trash can next to the toilet and
- 1:08:56Speaker 1: I just dipped a little bit of it out in
- 1:08:59Speaker 1: the of too. Next thing, you know, I had bailed
- 1:09:04Speaker 1: about three BUCkies. Oh sugar, honey teeth just over in
- 1:09:09Speaker 1: the braft. It was sheep lash shit everyone. But it
- 1:09:14Speaker 1: fin is stopped and the rest of that story is
- 1:09:17Speaker 1: a disaster. All right. We'll have more of the Steve

- 1:11:38Speaker 1: he gave all that little girl his money down at

- 1:11:45Speaker 1: we said tim me to the stow one sam bread,
- 1:11:49Speaker 1: some balooney, and he's ass down it and gave all
- 1:11:52Speaker 1: the money to the little girl. Oh, a cute little
- 1:11:54Speaker 1: girl that he was. Boy, so little boy girl. So
- 1:12:00Speaker 1: you've just been giving away money since a kid, right,
- 1:12:02Speaker 1: that's why he can't go to Magic City. He wouldn't
- 1:12:05Speaker 1: have a And this little girl ain't looking nothing like
- 1:12:11Speaker 1: they do with Magic City. A little girl, she's a
- 1:12:17Speaker 1: cute little girl. You know, cute little girl. But you know,
- 1:12:20Speaker 1: chocolate fine little girl. You know what you gave her all?
- 1:12:25Speaker 1: You gave her the bread and the balloony money, empty

- 1:12:36Speaker 1: the hell did you give her all the loaf of
- 1:12:38Speaker 1: bread money for it? She said, thank you. I will
- 1:12:43Speaker 1: gave her the rest of it. This is not a
- 1:12:48Speaker 1: person that can go to Magic City, she said, And
- 1:12:53Speaker 1: you gave her the rest of it. Oh, so should
- 1:12:55Speaker 1: they lean and run their breast cross your mouth? You
- 1:12:59Speaker 1: just gonna beat good? What is good? That's what's happening
- 1:13:04Speaker 1: down there? Call a strip club? Yeah, in Miami, one

- 1:13:43Speaker 1: he found a cute little girl that he liked, Tommy,
- 1:13:46Speaker 1: and now he's a grown man and traditional Yeah, well,

- 1:18:58Speaker 1: to do something. You got you kid, bra You'll wait
- 1:19:11Speaker 1: coming up. This is our last break of the day,
- 1:19:14Speaker 1: last break of the day, one more time. See are
- 1:19:19Speaker 1: you embarrassed? Break of the day. Okay, and we'll have
- 1:19:25Speaker 1: some closing remarks from the one in early Steve Harvey
- 1:19:28Speaker 1: at forty nine minutes after right after this you're listening
- 1:19:32Speaker 1: to show. All right, there are fourteen days left. That's
- 1:19:37Speaker 1: exactly two weeks, okay, fourteen days left until election day
- 1:19:41Speaker 1: on November third. Please go to vote at vote dot org.
- 1:19:46Speaker 1: I mean, please go to vote dot org to get
- 1:19:48Speaker 1: your information on where you can early vote in your
- 1:19:50Speaker 1: state and any information you might need about this upcoming election.
- 1:19:54Speaker 1: And please, whatever you do, vote early, vote early, Vote early.
- 1:19:59Speaker 1: The lines are you voted yesterday? How was that? Um? It?
- 1:20:05Speaker 1: Which smooth? You know I got it done because but
- 1:20:08Speaker 1: it was amazing When I got there and hand it
- 1:20:11Speaker 1: on my information, the sister said to me, mister Harvey,
- 1:20:17Speaker 1: you didn't you didn't use your absentee Valet. I said,
- 1:20:21Speaker 1: I don't have it. She said, we mailed it out
- 1:20:24Speaker 1: on the ninth. I said, well, sister, it's the nineteen.
- 1:20:30Speaker 1: I say, how did y'all send it? Y'all y'all back
- 1:20:34Speaker 1: to using horses that fell out the chairs. She said,
- 1:20:38Speaker 1: this is you, ain't it? Because because you know I
- 1:20:41Speaker 1: had the mask right, this is you? And I said, yeah, baby,
- 1:20:46Speaker 1: she said, I said, but they ain't fin the fool me.
- 1:20:50Speaker 1: She said, I know that's right. I said, I said,
- 1:20:52Speaker 1: you're getting a lot of this. She said, sir, we're
- 1:20:54Speaker 1: getting a lot of this, dude, we this has never
- 1:20:58Speaker 1: happened like this before. She say, I'm just glad to
- 1:21:02Speaker 1: see that people are coming down and voting anyway. But
- 1:21:05Speaker 1: the voter suppression is in. The Republicans know how to
- 1:21:08Speaker 1: do it. They said it in a joke at a rally.
- 1:21:11Speaker 1: What are you going to do to win the election?
- 1:21:13Speaker 1: That senator said, voter suppression. I mean, they know what
- 1:21:17Speaker 1: it is. They have a system. But it's really to
- 1:21:20Speaker 1: fix his in right now. That's why we have to vote. Vote, vote,
- 1:21:24Speaker 1: vote vote. So the number is so real. See, he's
- 1:21:27Speaker 1: counting on that it being close where he can make
- 1:21:31Speaker 1: it where Biden or him can't declare. And then he
- 1:21:35Speaker 1: gonna come up with all these rig things and then
- 1:21:38Speaker 1: gonna try to get the election thrown out by taking
- 1:21:41Speaker 1: it to the Supreme Court. And when he puts this
- 1:21:43Speaker 1: Amy woman in here, they're going to be heavy padded
- 1:21:46Speaker 1: Republicans and they're voting. M that's the plan. Yeah, yep,
- 1:21:54Speaker 1: but got to yep, we do. It's called voting. See,
- 1:21:58Speaker 1: if it ain't closer, they nothing you could say, right, landslide.
- 1:22:02Speaker 1: And if he don't win the electoral, he really got
- 1:22:05Speaker 1: a problem. Well, if he wins electoral, it don't matter
- 1:22:07Speaker 1: what he's back in. But if he don't win the
- 1:22:10Speaker 1: electoral and the popular vote, he got to go. Yeah,
- 1:22:15Speaker 1: and just you know, don't take it for granted. There's
- 1:22:17Speaker 1: still two weeks left, So two weeks. We still have
- 1:22:20Speaker 1: to do our part. We still have to be on
- 1:22:22Speaker 1: top of things, you know. We just can't expect someone
- 1:22:25Speaker 1: else to do our part for us. We all have
- 1:22:28Speaker 1: to play a part in this, you know, and get
- 1:22:30Speaker 1: to the police. You know, we really really do it.
- 1:22:33Speaker 1: We can't take this situation for granted at all. Anything
- 1:22:38Speaker 1: can happen in two weeks. Yeah, well here's a deal
- 1:22:45Speaker 1: in closing. Let me put it to you this way. Okay,
- 1:22:50Speaker 1: the choice is really clear. You know, you can sit
- 1:22:54Speaker 1: up and listen to this solid majority if you want to.
- 1:22:59Speaker 1: Who so many people are fans of Donald Trump because
- 1:23:05Speaker 1: so many people like that rhetoric that he's talking. Because
- 1:23:10Speaker 1: this country is full of closet races. But this country
- 1:23:15Speaker 1: is also full of people who are not. This country
- 1:23:19Speaker 1: is still full of people on both sides who really
- 1:23:23Speaker 1: are good people who really are trying to make sure
- 1:23:28Speaker 1: that social justice is social injustice is a thing of
- 1:23:32Speaker 1: the past. That we all have the equal and inalable
- 1:23:38Speaker 1: right to the posiiton to the pursuit of happiness in
- 1:23:41Speaker 1: this country, That all of us are created equal, that
- 1:23:46Speaker 1: all of us are God's children. That is a large
- 1:23:49Speaker 1: portion of this country that believes that. But the thing
- 1:23:52Speaker 1: I've learned from social media, and I'm sure all of
- 1:23:55Speaker 1: you know this, hate is louder than love, but it's
- 1:24:01Speaker 1: not stronger. See, hate has diminishing returns because hate cost.
- 1:24:09Speaker 1: Hate causes you to have to not be at your
- 1:24:12Speaker 1: level of hate best and able to produce the hate.
- 1:24:17Speaker 1: Hate produces negative returns over and over and over again.
- 1:24:22Speaker 1: And you can't win with negative returns. Love is stronger
- 1:24:28Speaker 1: than hate. Hate is louder than love, but love is stronger.
- 1:24:35Speaker 1: Love can endure hate. See. The only way to eradicate
- 1:24:39Speaker 1: hate is with love. But you can't eradicate love with hate.
- 1:24:45Speaker 1: See as much as you hate me, I still love
- 1:24:49Speaker 1: my people. And there's nothing you could ever do to
- 1:24:53Speaker 1: make me stop loving my people, or loving myself or
- 1:24:56Speaker 1: my family. It's nothing you could ever do. You can
- 1:24:59Speaker 1: hate me. You can hang, lynch, threatened, still rob enslave, kill, sell, pillage, rape,
- 1:25:10Speaker 1: you could do all of that, and when you get
- 1:25:12Speaker 1: through my love for my people, for my family, for
- 1:25:17Speaker 1: my wife, for my children, it's still there. Hate has
- 1:25:22Speaker 1: tried to erase us for four hundred years and we're
- 1:25:26Speaker 1: still here. And even though this president has openly mocked
- 1:25:31Speaker 1: and not said a kind word about Black lives matter,
- 1:25:36Speaker 1: he can find out on November third, that black lives
- 1:25:39Speaker 1: really do matter because black lives go to the polls.
- 1:25:44Speaker 1: This is how you finish the protest. People go to
- 1:25:49Speaker 1: the polls and vote. Do not let them stop. You
- 1:25:55Speaker 1: have your stuff in your hand and be ready to vote.
- 1:25:59Speaker 1: And we're gonna show them all that black lives matter
- 1:26:02Speaker 1: because black lives count, and you're going ahead to count
- 1:26:05Speaker 1: us this November. Thank you, yes, sir. For all Steve
