- 0:19Speaker 2: podcast of the biggest stories coming out of the Oval Office.
- 0:24Speaker 2: This morning podcast is obviously going to be very different
- 0:27Speaker 2: than this show where we talk more in depth about
- 0:29Speaker 2: the issues and the stories and what is actually happening.
- 0:33Speaker 2: But there have been quite a few people that have
- 0:34Speaker 2: been asking questions about it, especially on social media, and
- 0:37Speaker 2: so what we thought we would do this morning is
- 0:40Speaker 2: let you hear what the forty seven Morning Update actually
- 0:44Speaker 2: is within this show.
- 0:46Speaker 1: Now, it is a separate feed. You can subscribe to it.
- 0:49Speaker 2: Just like you do any other podcast, so make sure
- 0:52Speaker 2: that you do that search it now. One of the
- 0:54Speaker 2: other great things about this show is that it is
- 0:59Speaker 2: quick and fast.
- 1:00Speaker 1: It's a short term.
- 1:02Speaker 2: They describe this as a short form podcast, I should say,
- 1:06Speaker 2: and for many of you that may only have ten
- 1:08Speaker 2: to twelve minutes a day, you're gonna absolutely fall in
- 1:11Speaker 2: love with it. By the way, it went to the
- 1:12Speaker 2: top of the charts on Apple because of you guys,
- 1:15Speaker 2: and I wanted to say thank you so much for that.
- 1:17Speaker 2: So this morning, I'm gonna let you hear the forty

- 1:33Speaker 2: doing the show the long form that I do now,
- 1:35Speaker 2: the thirty to forty minutes you get from me each
- 1:37Speaker 2: and every day, so don't worry about that.
- 1:39Speaker 1: So here it is. This is this new show I'm doing,
- 1:42Speaker 1: the forty seven Morning Update. Check it out.
- 1:45Speaker 3: As far as I'm.
- 1:45Speaker 4: Concerned, if all of the hostages aren't returned by Saturday
- 1:49Speaker 4: at twelve o'clock, I would say cancel it and all
- 1:52Speaker 4: events are off and let hell break out, all of them,
- 1:54Speaker 4: not in drips and drafts, not two and one and
- 1:57Speaker 4: three and four and two.
- 1:58Speaker 3: All hell is gonna break out.
- 2:00Speaker 5: You're listening to The forty seven Morning Update with Ben Ferguson.
- 2:04Speaker 2: Good Tuesday, morning, Ben Ferguson with you and hear the
- 2:06Speaker 2: big stories we're covering today on the forty seven Morning Update.
- 2:10Speaker 2: First up, Elon must and Doge have found massive waste
- 2:14Speaker 2: when it comes to your tax dollars going to luxury
- 2:18Speaker 2: hotels that are housing illegal immigrants.
- 2:22Speaker 1: How much money I'll tell you in just a moment.
- 2:25Speaker 2: Also, Donald Trump has come out with a new warning
- 2:28Speaker 2: that if the hostages are not released by Saturday, there
- 2:31Speaker 2: will be hell to pay for those that took the
- 2:34Speaker 2: hostages in Israel. And finally, Donald Trump says it's time
- 2:38Speaker 2: to make a deal with Iran. He would rather make
- 2:41Speaker 2: that deal than well go to war. I'll have the
- 2:44Speaker 2: latest on the threat against Iran, especially with their nuclear program.
- 2:48Speaker 2: It's the forty seven Morning Update and it starts right now.
- 2:52Speaker 2: Story number one, Cutting waste, fraud, and abuse is clearly
- 2:55Speaker 2: a theme of the Trump administration. Exposing it is the
- 2:58Speaker 2: hard part, but it seems that Elon Musk and Doge
- 3:01Speaker 2: are having success every single day. Their latest success comes
- 3:06Speaker 2: as an even bigger shock to American tax payers. We
- 3:09Speaker 2: have now found out that Doge says that FEMA sent
- 3:13Speaker 2: fifty nine million dollars in payments just last week to
- 3:18Speaker 2: hotels in New York City that are housing illegal aliens.
- 3:24Speaker 2: The Department of Government Efficiency uncovering that fifty nine million
- 3:28Speaker 2: dollar FEMA payment from just last week to house all
- 3:32Speaker 2: of these legal aliens and what they described as quote,
- 3:35Speaker 2: luxury hotels in New York City. Now, to be clear,
- 3:39Speaker 2: there are quite a few Americans that are suffering from
- 3:42Speaker 2: natural disasters. They are not receiving fifty nine million dollars
- 3:46Speaker 2: from FEMA for luxury hotels, whether it's in California with
- 3:50Speaker 2: the wildfires or the flooding that we saw after a
- 3:53Speaker 2: hurricane hit the East coast all the way down to Tennessee. Now,
- 3:57Speaker 2: this is what we've also found out about these payments
- 4:01Speaker 2: and serious corruption involved with them. The payments come after
- 4:05Speaker 2: the Biden administration had claimed that FEMA was not using
- 4:08Speaker 2: funds to support illegal immigrants. Quote it's just categorically false.
- 4:14Speaker 2: It is not true. That was the statement from the
- 4:17Speaker 2: former White House pres Secretary Jean Pierre that she said
- 4:20Speaker 2: over and over again, including in October when she was
- 4:24Speaker 2: asked about are FEMA funds going to support illegal aliens.
- 4:29Speaker 2: Republicans have argued that FEMA did not have enough money
- 4:32Speaker 2: in the fall to help victims of the hurricane in
- 4:34Speaker 2: North Carolina and in Tennessee. The President Joe Biden's Apartment
- 4:38Speaker 2: of Homeland Security claimed those reports were quote completely false,
- 4:42Speaker 2: and noted the agency had enough money to fund relief
- 4:46Speaker 2: efforts and the FEMA Emergency Food and Shelter Program, which
- 4:50Speaker 2: the Biden administration authorized in late twenty twenty two to
- 4:53Speaker 2: respond to the migrant crisis. Well, now we know they
- 4:57Speaker 2: were lying to every single American, every taxpayer. Musk, who
- 5:02Speaker 2: is leading the Doge initiative to cut waste, fraud, and abuse,
- 5:05Speaker 2: said the THEEMA payment violated the law and quote a
- 5:09Speaker 2: clawback demand will be made today to recoup those taxpayer
- 5:14Speaker 2: funds now. He also tweeted out more about exactly how
- 5:18Speaker 2: this went down, saying, the DOGE team just discovered that
- 5:21Speaker 2: the FEMA payments were sent last week fifty nine million
- 5:25Speaker 2: in total to quote, luxury hotels in New York City
- 5:29Speaker 2: to specifically house illegal immigrants. Sending this money violate the
- 5:34Speaker 2: law and is a gross in subordination to the President's
- 5:37Speaker 2: executive order. What this means is the deep state is
- 5:40Speaker 2: still fighting back against President Donald Trump. They knew they
- 5:44Speaker 2: were not allowed to make this payment and they did
- 5:46Speaker 2: it anyway. He then said that money is meant for
- 5:49Speaker 2: American disaster relief and instead is being spent on high
- 5:53Speaker 2: end hotels for illegals. The other question everyone should be
- 5:57Speaker 2: asking now is who's getting the kickbacks and who got
- 6:00Speaker 2: these hotels hooked up with these massive payments, and how
- 6:03Speaker 2: long have they been receiving the payments, and how much
- 6:06Speaker 2: money are we talking about overall that went to illegal
- 6:10Speaker 2: immigrants now. President Donald Trump announced this executive order to
- 6:14Speaker 2: improve FEMA's efficiency, priorities, and competence, including evaluating whether FEMA's
- 6:20Speaker 2: bureaucracy in disaster response ultimately harms the agency's ability to
- 6:26Speaker 2: successfully respond.
- 6:27Speaker 1: The executive order reads.
- 6:29Speaker 2: It has lost mission focus and diverting limited staff and
- 6:34Speaker 2: resources to support missions beyond its scope and authority, spending
- 6:39Speaker 2: well over a billion dollars to welcome illegal aliens. The
- 6:42Speaker 2: order added, Trump suggested on January the twenty fourth, just
- 6:45Speaker 2: four days after he was sworn in, the quote, maybe
- 6:48Speaker 2: getting rid of FEMA and instead permitting the federal government
- 6:51Speaker 2: to send funds to the state to deploy to disaster
- 6:54Speaker 2: relief would be a better use of our tax dollars.
- 6:57Speaker 2: President then said, I also will be executive order to
- 7:01Speaker 2: begin the process of fundamentally reforming and overhauling FEMA or
- 7:05Speaker 2: maybe getting rid of FEMA. I think, frankly, FEMA is
- 7:09Speaker 2: not good. Well, now we know that FEMA said, we
- 7:12Speaker 2: don't care what you say, mister President, we are going
- 7:15Speaker 2: to send to people that own these hotels massive payments
- 7:20Speaker 2: of fifty nine million to house illegal immigrants, putting illegal
- 7:24Speaker 2: immigrants ahead of American citizens. Question now, is how quick
- 7:28Speaker 2: will the present move to shut down FEMA In response
- 7:32Speaker 2: to this, We'll keep you.
- 7:33Speaker 5: Posted now story number two.
- 7:35Speaker 1: If there's anything you.
- 7:36Speaker 2: Can take away from the Trump administration, it's that very
- 7:39Speaker 2: clearly they are working twenty four to seven for the
- 7:43Speaker 2: American people, whether it's protecting your tax dollars or dealing
- 7:47Speaker 2: with issues of national security and foreign policy. Donald Trump
- 7:51Speaker 2: has a very new and very real demand when it
- 7:55Speaker 2: comes to Hamas. He is demanding that they free all
- 7:58Speaker 2: the hostages by Saturday or the ceasefire deal is off
- 8:02Speaker 2: and Israel can unleash Holy Hell the present in his
- 8:07Speaker 2: own words, saying this from the Oval Office, Well.
- 8:11Speaker 4: I would say this, and I'm going to let that
- 8:13Speaker 4: because it's Israel's decision.
- 8:14Speaker 3: But as far as I'm concerned.
- 8:16Speaker 4: If all of the hostages aren't returned by Saturday at
- 8:20Speaker 4: twelve o'clock, I think it's an appropriate time. I would say,
- 8:24Speaker 4: cancel it, and all bets are off and let hell
- 8:28Speaker 4: break out.
- 8:29Speaker 3: I'd say they.
- 8:30Speaker 4: Ought to be returned by twelve o'clock on Saturday. And
- 8:32Speaker 4: if they're not returned, all of them, not in drips
- 8:35Speaker 4: and drafts, not two and one and three and four
- 8:38Speaker 4: and two Saturday at twelve o'clock, and after that, I
- 8:42Speaker 4: would say, all hell is going to break out.
- 8:45Speaker 2: All hell is going to break out. President Trump issuing
- 8:49Speaker 2: this ultimatum to Hamas saying, you got a week or less.
- 8:53Speaker 2: He said it on Monday, you must release all the
- 8:56Speaker 2: remaining Israeli hostages and American hostages from Gaza by nuone
- 8:59Speaker 2: on Saturday, or.
- 9:00Speaker 1: The ceasefire deal is over.
- 9:02Speaker 2: This is a threat that President Donald Trump has made
- 9:06Speaker 2: that Joe Biden didn't make in well over a year.
- 9:09Speaker 2: When he says all bets are off, let hell break out,
- 9:12Speaker 2: it's very clear that the President saying I am supporting
- 9:15Speaker 2: Israel fighting back and unleashing Holy hell on you. The
- 9:19Speaker 2: President made his announcement why after Hamas said it would
- 9:23Speaker 2: delay the release of the hostages in the first phase
- 9:28Speaker 2: of the six week ceasfire deal, citing supported Israeli violations.
- 9:33Speaker 1: They claim of the deal.
- 9:35Speaker 2: In Israelis speculate that Hamas had been badly stung by
- 9:38Speaker 2: the global reaction to the site of an emancipated Israeli
- 9:42Speaker 2: hostage being released on Saturday. The president himself said that
- 9:46Speaker 2: they reminded him of Holocaust survivors after the Second World War.
- 9:52Speaker 2: Times of Israel reported this way. US President Donald Trump
- 9:57Speaker 2: says the Godza seasfire and hostage release deal should be
- 10:00Speaker 2: canceled if all the hostages are not released by twelve
- 10:03Speaker 2: on Saturday noon. Trump said in December that there would
- 10:07Speaker 2: be quote all hell to pay if Hamas did not
- 10:10Speaker 2: release the hostages by January the twentieth. Now, the current
- 10:13Speaker 2: hostage deal was reached in January, and Trump appeared to
- 10:16Speaker 2: accept the Biden administration's plan to have the hostages released
- 10:20Speaker 2: in a multi phase process. There are seventy three hostages
- 10:26Speaker 2: still in Gaza, seventeen of whom are still slay to
- 10:29Speaker 2: be released in the first phase. Not all of them
- 10:32Speaker 2: are alive, and dozens would have remained in captivity until
- 10:37Speaker 2: a second phase of the agreement. Now the President saying
- 10:41Speaker 2: I want them all home. Now, we'll have to wait
- 10:44Speaker 2: and see what the next move is by Hamas, but
- 10:47Speaker 2: it's clear that the President is not willing to wait
- 10:50Speaker 2: any longer.
- 10:51Speaker 5: And lastly, story number three.
- 10:53Speaker 2: It is very clear that Donald Trump's foreign policy is
- 10:57Speaker 2: one that he is willing to make changes, especially when
- 11:00Speaker 2: it comes to different countries. The way he treats Hamas,
- 11:03Speaker 2: for example, is very different than the way he's talking
- 11:05Speaker 2: about Iran right now. How do we know this because
- 11:09Speaker 2: of a sit down interview that the President has done
- 11:11Speaker 2: talking about Iran and saying he's ready to make a deal.
- 11:15Speaker 1: It's also very clear that the.
- 11:17Speaker 2: President is not going to let Iran get a nuclear weapon.
- 11:21Speaker 3: Take a listen, they went down to nothing. Now they
- 11:23Speaker 3: are up to a tremendous amount of money. I think
- 11:26Speaker 3: there's a deal there in Iran. Yeah, I think we're
- 11:28Speaker 3: going to make a deal in I Run. I think
- 11:30Speaker 3: I would rather okay.
- 11:32Speaker 6: And you know, there are a lot of people think
- 11:33Speaker 6: that we are going to attack or Israel or with
- 11:37Speaker 6: our blessing or.
- 11:38Speaker 3: Is what Israel needs us? Everybody needs us.
- 11:41Speaker 6: We have the weapons, we have the strength, We're very strong,
- 11:44Speaker 6: I rebuilt on militia, and people forget I rebuilt on now.
- 11:47Speaker 6: They shouldn't have given a lot to Afghanistan, which they did.
- 11:50Speaker 3: They gave a lot. There was no reason for that.
- 11:52Speaker 3: But we're very strong.
- 11:53Speaker 6: We have things that nobody else has, so they need us.
- 11:57Speaker 3: But everyone thinks Israel, with our.
- 11:59Speaker 6: Health or or approval, we'll go in and bomb the
- 12:03Speaker 6: hell out of them.
- 12:03Speaker 3: I would prefer that not happened.
- 12:05Speaker 6: I'd much rather see a deal with Iran where we
- 12:07Speaker 6: can do a deal, supervise, check it, inspect it, and
- 12:12Speaker 6: then blow it up, or just make sure that there's
- 12:14Speaker 6: no more nuclear there.
- 12:15Speaker 3: We just a better deal than the Obama nuclear deal.
- 12:18Speaker 6: Well that there was the dumbest elle by the way,
- 12:20Speaker 6: that would have expired by now. That was a road
- 12:23Speaker 6: to a nuclear weapon. It was a short term deal.
- 12:25Speaker 6: You can make a deal with just a few years
- 12:27Speaker 6: on it. That deal would be expired by now, think
- 12:30Speaker 6: of it, and they would have a.
- 12:32Speaker 3: Legal right to have a nuclear weapon.
- 12:34Speaker 6: You can't allow them to have a Nukeluban, but there's
- 12:37Speaker 6: two ways of stopping them with bombs or with a
- 12:40Speaker 6: written piece of paper. And I'd much rather do a
- 12:43Speaker 6: deal that's a deal that's not going to hurt them,
- 12:47Speaker 6: and I think they wanted to. I think that Iran
- 12:49Speaker 6: is very concerned. I think that Iran is very frightened,
- 12:52Speaker 6: to be honest with you, because the defense is pretty
- 12:55Speaker 6: much gone. Maybe they get to trying to get new
- 12:57Speaker 6: defense as we speak, you know, they're meaning air defense,
- 13:00Speaker 6: but the defense is largely gone.
- 13:02Speaker 3: They've had some very bad moments.
- 13:03Speaker 6: The whole thing with the Pages was a disaster for them.
- 13:06Speaker 3: The Pages, you know what I'm talking about. It was a.
- 13:08Speaker 6: Horrible thing, but it was, you know, knocked out a
- 13:11Speaker 6: lot of leadership like nobody's ever seen before. But I
- 13:16Speaker 6: think of Iran is very nervous. I think they're scared.
- 13:19Speaker 6: I think Iran would love to make a deal, and
- 13:21Speaker 6: I would love to make a deal with them without
- 13:22Speaker 6: bombing them.
- 13:23Speaker 2: This is making Liberals' heads explode. They want to blame
- 13:27Speaker 2: Donald Trump is a guy that's going to get us into.
- 13:29Speaker 1: War War three.
- 13:31Speaker 2: But it's very clear the presents willing to make a deal.
- 13:34Speaker 2: That's the question that everyone asked at the very beginning.
- 13:37Speaker 2: Could Donald Trump make a deal? Well, he's walking up
- 13:40Speaker 2: to Iran right now saying let's make a deal instead
- 13:43Speaker 2: of US having a major war. The President says he
- 13:46Speaker 2: believes he will get that deal done. And there's many
- 13:48Speaker 2: in the foreign policy arena that believe that Iran is
- 13:52Speaker 2: willing to now make a real deal for a long
- 13:55Speaker 2: term stability with an Iran nuclear program. And if it
- 13:58Speaker 2: doesn't happen, and it's also sag, he is going to
- 14:01Speaker 2: make sure they don't get a nuclear weapon. So it's
- 14:05Speaker 2: up to a Ran now what happens, but the President
- 14:08Speaker 2: clearly is sag.
- 14:09Speaker 1: Let's talk.
