- 2:12Speaker 1: for you today? I got going for you today, Okaid,
- 2:16Speaker 1: You're not because this is coming purely from self experience, purely,
- 2:21Speaker 1: and it just happened to me. You know, I was
- 2:24Speaker 1: going through something that I've been going through for a
- 2:27Speaker 1: long long time and just weary of it all. And
- 2:30Speaker 1: I I've been talking to God about it, and I
- 2:33Speaker 1: mean for for years though, for years, and I've been saying, Okay,
- 2:37Speaker 1: enough is enough, you know God, I'm really I'm really
- 2:40Speaker 1: tired and so but you, But you know what h
- 2:48Speaker 1: after it was over. You know, I kind of laid
- 2:52Speaker 1: in it for a little while. You know, how you've
- 2:53Speaker 1: been going through something for so long and then even
- 2:56Speaker 1: if it's over appears to be over, you steve a
- 3:00Speaker 1: kind of lay in it a little bit, and you know,
- 3:02Speaker 1: you have a a while. Man, I can't believe I've
- 3:04Speaker 1: been dealing with this this long, even though even though
- 3:08Speaker 1: it's over, or you threw with it for that particular
- 3:11Speaker 1: day or what or whatever it is you threw with it,
- 3:14Speaker 1: it's over with for that day of that period of time,
- 3:17Speaker 1: you know, but it's over for whatever. But I I
- 3:21Speaker 1: found myself going, you know, man, I can't leave. It's
- 3:25Speaker 1: lasted this long. I was just talking to myself and
- 3:28Speaker 1: I had to catch myself yesterday. And maybe you've been
- 3:31Speaker 1: doing the same thing to yourself, But man, I had
- 3:33Speaker 1: to take an inventory yesterday. I really did, and it
- 3:38Speaker 1: really tripped me out, and I said, I'm gonna share
- 3:39Speaker 1: that with everybody today. You know, have you ever counted
- 3:44Speaker 1: how many times you made it? This is really good
- 3:51Speaker 1: for me. I don't know how you do it, but
- 3:54Speaker 1: this was so good for you for me. Have you
- 3:57Speaker 1: ever counted Steve Harvey, how many times you made it?
- 4:02Speaker 1: And so that's what I started doing yesterday, And that's
- 4:05Speaker 1: what I did this morning when I woke up, was
- 4:07Speaker 1: getting ready, I was actually taking an inventory account of
- 4:14Speaker 1: how many times I made it. How many times, man,
- 4:19Speaker 1: I didn't have it rent and somehow I came up
- 4:21Speaker 1: with it. How many times I didn't have my house
- 4:24Speaker 1: payment and somehow I came up with it. How many
- 4:28Speaker 1: times I was out of money, did not have enough,
- 4:31Speaker 1: didn't didn't see no way, but somehow I came up
- 4:34Speaker 1: with it. How many times I got sick? I thought, well, man,
- 4:40Speaker 1: this is right here. I don't know what I'm gonna do,
- 4:42Speaker 1: but somehow I got my health back. How many situations
- 4:50Speaker 1: I have found myself in? That was I thought at
- 4:54Speaker 1: the time, detrimental and diabolical and man so sinister at times,
- 5:01Speaker 1: But look at me, somehow I made it. I look
- 5:06Speaker 1: at all the accidents I've been in, but he kept me.
- 5:10Speaker 1: I made it. I think about even the simplest times
- 5:13Speaker 1: of like stepping off a curve and almost got here,
- 5:16Speaker 1: but I made it. I was just tripping the other day.
- 5:19Speaker 1: I was I was thinking about the times that I've
- 5:22Speaker 1: been hit by a car and it could have been worse,
- 5:25Speaker 1: but it wasn't. And I made it through that too.
- 5:27Speaker 1: I was thinking about, man, when they count you out?
- 5:30Speaker 1: Do you know how many times I've been counted out?
- 5:34Speaker 1: He's done? He ain't gonna be nothing, He ain't nobody
- 5:39Speaker 1: See what I told y'all, look at over that they
- 5:42Speaker 1: counsel this, he offer that he out of here, He
- 5:44Speaker 1: ain't gonna make it. He didn't got fired. Man. You
- 5:47Speaker 1: know how many times I've been counting out? You know
- 5:49Speaker 1: how many times they didn't wrote me off? How many
- 5:52Speaker 1: times have you been written off? Man? But here you
- 5:54Speaker 1: still stand? You know you have a tripped on it?
- 5:56Speaker 1: Taking inventory y'all of how many times? Count the times
- 6:02Speaker 1: you've made it? Sit down, get a pin, dude like
- 6:05Speaker 1: I did. I just started jotting stuff down. What about
- 6:08Speaker 1: the times man, when nobody was there to encourage you?
- 6:12Speaker 1: But you still here though you have tripped on that?
- 6:16Speaker 1: Ain't nobody called you and told you good day? No
- 6:18Speaker 1: nobody called you and told you recently thank you. No
- 6:20Speaker 1: one's called you and told you how much you meant
- 6:22Speaker 1: to them, how much you've done for them? A man,
- 6:24Speaker 1: that you can make it, Never give up. Keep your
- 6:27Speaker 1: head up, man, keep grinding, but you still here even
- 6:30Speaker 1: when nobody have you counted the times man, that you
- 6:34Speaker 1: made it anyway? You counted the times that you felt
- 6:38Speaker 1: like quitting. How about that one you felt like giving up?
- 6:43Speaker 1: You kept going? How about the time this is a
- 6:46Speaker 1: good one right here? How about the times man, when
- 6:49Speaker 1: when when when everybody was standing around saying, ain't no way,
- 6:52Speaker 1: ain't no way, Steve, Man, I can't tell you every
- 6:55Speaker 1: times I've heard it, ain't no way, and then somehow
- 6:59Speaker 1: there is a way. You know why, because he makes away.
- 7:03Speaker 1: You understand. You know how many you know how many
- 7:06Speaker 1: times I've heard this one right here, Steve, listen to me, Man,
- 7:10Speaker 1: nobody ever before has done that. You can't do that.
- 7:18Speaker 1: How many times you've heard no you want you know
- 7:21Speaker 1: anybody that done that? You can't do that. No one
- 7:25Speaker 1: has ever done that. I made it anyway? You know,
- 7:31Speaker 1: they don't normally or we don't normally allow this, but
- 7:38Speaker 1: in this case, for you, we're gonna make an exception.
- 7:42Speaker 1: How many times have you heard that, Oh, I think
- 7:45Speaker 1: I'm on to something. How many times have you heard
- 7:49Speaker 1: in your lifetime? We don't normally or they don't normally
- 7:54Speaker 1: allow this, But we're gonna make this exception in your case.
- 7:59Speaker 1: How many times you'vedn't heard that? Have you ever counted
- 8:05Speaker 1: the times that you made it? You know? Everybody out
- 8:11Speaker 1: except me? How how can that be? You know you're
- 8:18Speaker 1: the only one that got through this? Congratulations? Wow? Man,
- 8:23Speaker 1: I don't I don't hardly see this too many times.
- 8:26Speaker 1: But do you realize that normally this is what happened
- 8:29Speaker 1: to people? But man, y'all don't know how your name
- 8:32Speaker 1: came up, but here you are. Wow, it never happens
- 8:35Speaker 1: like that. You have accounted those times I was doing
- 8:38Speaker 1: it yesterday, I was doing it this morning. I was
- 8:41Speaker 1: just taking an inventory of everybody of how many times
- 8:44Speaker 1: I've made it. So what I learned yesterday was when
- 8:50Speaker 1: God gets you through something, when he pulled you out
- 8:53Speaker 1: on the other side, no matter how difficult or how
- 8:56Speaker 1: long it took. When He gets you out on the
- 8:58Speaker 1: other side, aren't you get up, dust yourself off, and
- 9:03Speaker 1: start trotting what you laying there for? Man? Wallowing in it,
- 9:08Speaker 1: going over it, recycling it in your mind. So many
- 9:12Speaker 1: people can't move forward because we keep recycling stuff in
- 9:18Speaker 1: our minds when clearly it's time to move on. It's
- 9:24Speaker 1: time to let go. It's time to go and see
- 9:29Speaker 1: what God has for you. Stop looking at what you lost.
- 9:34Speaker 1: What you lost was probably not yours to have in
- 9:38Speaker 1: the first in the first place. Do you know the
- 9:47Speaker 1: things I've lost? I'm not talking about losing the love
- 9:50Speaker 1: of one or mother or father, nothing like that. I'm
- 9:52Speaker 1: talking about innate objects or situation. Do you know the
- 9:56Speaker 1: things I've lost? Man, I look back on it. I
- 9:58Speaker 1: wasn't supposed to have them in the first place, or
- 10:00Speaker 1: they was doing me no good. I it wasn't what
- 10:03Speaker 1: wouldn't mine to to lose, but I claimed I lost it.
- 10:06Speaker 1: Come on, man, take an inventory everybody. Start looking at
- 10:09Speaker 1: the things man, that God has brought you through. Start
- 10:12Speaker 1: looking at how many times He allowed you to make it.
- 10:15Speaker 1: And get glad about waking up in the morning. Man,
- 10:17Speaker 1: get glad about your life. Start feeling something positive about
- 10:20Speaker 1: your situation. You cannot expect God to continue to bless
- 10:25Speaker 1: you if you're not grateful for the things that you have.
- 10:28Speaker 1: Come on, man, have you ever counted how many times
- 10:33Speaker 1: you made it? I started yesterday ended up this morning.
- 10:38Speaker 1: When I go on break, I got some most stuff
- 10:40Speaker 1: to throw on the list. I can't count how many
- 10:43Speaker 1: times God didn't got me through something. But when He
- 10:45Speaker 1: gets you through it and get up and get on
- 10:47Speaker 1: about your business, don't lay that in it. It's over,
- 10:50Speaker 1: it's done, you made it, you survived it. Let's go,
- 10:53Speaker 1: Let's go. You're listening to lady is a gentleman for
- 11:00Speaker 1: ones and girls. Man, have your attention, please please welcome

- 14:38Speaker 1: give you guys a list of words. Steve, You're in
- 14:41Speaker 1: on this as well. Uh, let's start with the letter
- 14:43Speaker 1: b okay that you guys are constantly messing up always alright, told,
- 14:51Speaker 1: real fast. Let me just remind you body. September is
- 14:54Speaker 1: the Sickle Sale five k Walk for Keres Hope and Run.
- 14:58Speaker 1: I am doing that. I want you all to come
- 15:00Speaker 1: out to Oyster Creek Park in Houston, Texas. It is

- 15:09Speaker 1: This is a run. It's my first annual run and
- 15:12Speaker 1: I'm really excited about it. So please come on out
- 15:14Speaker 1: September sixteen Creek Park in Sugarland, Texas. And I'm committed
- 15:25Speaker 1: to its first year. So it's really just gonna cost.
- 15:29Speaker 1: I'm an a girl, I'm all right. You know, people
- 15:33Speaker 1: think that if you don't speak with them, then there
- 15:36Speaker 1: has to be a problem. You know. They think that
- 15:38Speaker 1: they really do believe what's wrong with you? You know?
- 15:42Speaker 1: So I get a text message from a family member
- 15:45Speaker 1: that redd when family and friends go through life not speaking,
- 15:51Speaker 1: there will come a day to regret it. It's called
- 15:54Speaker 1: the funeral. Well, I respond to that family member, real
- 15:59Speaker 1: civil truth. If I go first, what I'm trying to
- 16:06Speaker 1: hope to do. If I go first and I don't
- 16:08Speaker 1: have them I read it to regret it? Really the
- 16:11Speaker 1: fact that you sent it over there and you still
- 16:13Speaker 1: haven't got a response, what that means. I'm not mad.
- 16:16Speaker 1: I just don't speak to you like this. No, I
- 16:19Speaker 1: don't have time like like this. Is this people to
- 16:22Speaker 1: understand If you text somebody and you look at your
- 16:26Speaker 1: text law and all other text messages are from you,
- 16:31Speaker 1: dave responding you a message back. If the last message
- 16:37Speaker 1: you got from me was married Christmas, I don't want that.
- 16:42Speaker 1: We just don't talk. That's that's not my fault. If
- 16:46Speaker 1: you kept telling people to tell me that you said
- 16:50Speaker 1: call you, guess what I ain't call. I just want
- 16:54Speaker 1: you to understand that I'm not mad at you. I
- 16:57Speaker 1: just don't have to talk to you. So you can
- 16:59Speaker 1: be mad. You won't do Yeah, Okay, it is called
- 17:02Speaker 1: the funeral. But then knowing you, and while I'm not
- 17:04Speaker 1: talking to you, I won't even be mad when I
- 17:06Speaker 1: shouldn't get up get what confidence a lot? Like everybody
- 17:13Speaker 1: here lies a great individual, someone to live beyond aman
- 17:18Speaker 1: a life changes. I can get up that a lot
- 17:20Speaker 1: with the best stuff. That's all I got to say.
- 17:24Speaker 1: All right, thank you again. Before you figure out I'm
- 17:27Speaker 1: not talking. If you send a bunch of I'm not talking,
- 17:31Speaker 1: I just ain't talking. Sometimes it's good to cut people
- 17:33Speaker 1: out of every you know, I ever said everybody should
- 17:36Speaker 1: not be in your life? I do it all right.

- 18:01Speaker 1: It's take keeping it gag, I believe. So? How is
- 18:05Speaker 1: that so hard? Or bleed? That bleed? That bleed? I
- 18:11Speaker 1: like that. Yeah, I'm about to go. That's still wrong.

- 19:09Speaker 1: Bring back? When you go to stone get you stuff
- 19:14Speaker 1: and bring back one too, Yeah yeah, bring back that
- 19:26Speaker 1: sounds yeah all right? Can you back that up for me? Please?
- 19:32Speaker 1: That is the proper way to say it. It's backed up?
- 19:40Speaker 1: What did you do it? Back up? Backed up? Backed
- 19:44Speaker 1: up right and back up. It's something that's even mold like.
- 19:49Speaker 1: You don't let me go off the record here, okay,
- 19:53Speaker 1: teach you how to talk to talk and I must
- 19:58Speaker 1: see your U B words now. I want you to,

- 20:32Speaker 1: what that is? Panties? Yeah? What would make you one?
- 20:40Speaker 1: What would make you leave a fight? Leave a club
- 20:43Speaker 1: real early. So you're in the club, you're having a
- 20:45Speaker 1: good time. You got to get about it. Let's go.
- 20:48Speaker 1: They're about to fight, about to fight, about to fight.
- 20:52Speaker 1: I gotta get up in here because I feel like

- 23:50Speaker 1: that's coming off of that, right, right, Okay, Well, we're
- 23:53Speaker 1: getting ready for the summer, you know, where everybody's excited
- 23:55Speaker 1: about coming out and being a part of what's going on.
- 23:58Speaker 1: So here's what I wanted to give you a little bit.
- 24:00Speaker 1: Like I said, I'm the new camp director. I was
- 24:03Speaker 1: just starting at this job. I got a few notes
- 24:06Speaker 1: that that we're given to me about about, so I
- 24:10Speaker 1: wanted to give you a call and see if I
- 24:12Speaker 1: could talk to you about it. A few notes given
- 24:14Speaker 1: to you about Yeah, just a couple of notes. I
- 24:15Speaker 1: don't think it's anything that we can make sure it's okay.
- 24:18Speaker 1: What kind of notes? Well, it's been brought to my
- 24:20Speaker 1: attention that some of the parents whose daughters are out
- 24:23Speaker 1: there as well, there's gonna be there this summer a
- 24:26Speaker 1: little concerned about her being on top of the pyramid,
- 24:30Speaker 1: that she's uh is getting a little heavy, should she
- 24:34Speaker 1: uh wait wait wait wait wait wait wait wait wait
- 24:37Speaker 1: wait wait ho ho ho you calling me about some
- 24:41Speaker 1: some other parents and saying about how big Micheal is
- 24:45Speaker 1: or how much machal Wait. What I wanted to let
- 24:50Speaker 1: you know was was we're gonna put as a a base. No,
- 24:55Speaker 1: you ain't gonna put no bake. I don't not to
- 24:57Speaker 1: say my money and what you say? Your name? Chip?
- 25:01Speaker 1: And um, how long have you been the director? Because
- 25:03Speaker 1: I was just up there two weeks ago and they
- 25:05Speaker 1: told me that she was gonna be the same position
- 25:08Speaker 1: that she was last year, because that is what worked,
- 25:10Speaker 1: that's the formation that worked. So I don't even know
- 25:13Speaker 1: what the supposedly that some of the girls are complaining
- 25:16Speaker 1: that she's too heavy to hold up. So that's what
- 25:18Speaker 1: seems to be the problem in there. They're not getting
- 25:20Speaker 1: a strong enough pyramid. And now wait a minute, wait
- 25:24Speaker 1: a minute, I know, well, she ain't the biggest one.
- 25:27Speaker 1: I felt if you've been I felt, my child is
- 25:29Speaker 1: not the biggest child. I fell when because to you,
- 25:33Speaker 1: I've not seen these chiles and if somebody's so most
- 25:35Speaker 1: I felt, Okay, hang on a second, Angela, I want
- 25:37Speaker 1: you to come down a bit now, anybody gonna calm
- 25:40Speaker 1: down because I had not already paid my money. And
- 25:42Speaker 1: this is that I'll be talking about what parents, what
- 25:45Speaker 1: Nerrison said? Something is it? Is it? Carrie Man, I'm
- 25:48Speaker 1: not I'm not gonna state who it is, but let's
- 25:50Speaker 1: just say it was several. Harris has got something to
- 25:54Speaker 1: say about my child and her position on the chill
- 25:57Speaker 1: leading squad. Because if you ain't gonna up no name,
- 26:00Speaker 1: I don'tna listen what you're calling me about. I'll tell
- 26:02Speaker 1: you one thing. When she get out, tell I didn't
- 26:04Speaker 1: pay my money, she bet not be on the base.
- 26:07Speaker 1: She better be in the hour. I guarantee you that.
- 26:10Speaker 1: Right now, I've been hanging with and then nobody said
- 26:13Speaker 1: nothing to me about in her way and all that. Okay, Angela,
- 26:17Speaker 1: can you hear me? I just wanted you to hear
- 26:19Speaker 1: me clearly. I haven't seen these young ladies yet. Once
- 26:22Speaker 1: I see them, I will critique what I think. You
- 26:25Speaker 1: don't even need to be calling me because you ain't
- 26:27Speaker 1: even seen nothing. So you're calling me with him. He says,
- 26:29Speaker 1: she's from some other parents that's been skinny and gritted
- 26:32Speaker 1: in my face, and they now wanted to say nothing
- 26:34Speaker 1: to me. They have been in my house. We didn't
- 26:36Speaker 1: have parties always he competition every week end, every other day,
- 26:40Speaker 1: and they couldn't say nothing to me about my baby.
- 26:42Speaker 1: I tell you what, why don't you call your girls
- 26:45Speaker 1: on the three way? Miss the chill, if you can't
- 26:48Speaker 1: call him on the three now, I got them. I
- 26:50Speaker 1: called him on the three way. Okay, Okay, Look, all
- 26:54Speaker 1: I wanted to do is make you aware of the
- 26:56Speaker 1: possibility that she may be Thank you you have made
- 27:00Speaker 1: you oh ware. And I guarantee you that if I
- 27:01Speaker 1: bring my big yellow something and come to the practice,
- 27:04Speaker 1: I guarantee you she won't be a space. How much
- 27:06Speaker 1: you want to bet on that, Mr Chill, Look, you're
- 27:08Speaker 1: gonna quit holler. I mean, I told you I would
- 27:11Speaker 1: try to take a look at these girls. But I
- 27:12Speaker 1: tell you what your thought is gonna be a face
- 27:14Speaker 1: or she's gonna be a back support, whichever I decide,
- 27:17Speaker 1: she's who? And the do you think you're holling that? Mr? Chill? No,
- 27:24Speaker 1: that's not how it's gonna go down as a matter
- 27:26Speaker 1: of fact. As fact, Mr Chill, are you at the registration,
- 27:29Speaker 1: Say but two days I'm here now while people are
- 27:32Speaker 1: registering and turning around. I'll tell you what. I'm all
- 27:35Speaker 1: my way up there. Why don't you and the parents
- 27:38Speaker 1: thats been complaining. Why don't all y'all come to the table,
- 27:41Speaker 1: and we're gonna have come to Jesus meeting about whether
- 27:44Speaker 1: it's gonna be for some enough season, because I'm not
- 27:47Speaker 1: going to tolerate this. I've been told you, I haven't
- 27:49Speaker 1: paid my money and this high is going down. What
- 27:53Speaker 1: what is it to you? Whether game wait or not?
- 27:56Speaker 1: What does guy have to do with her chip meeting?
- 27:58Speaker 1: Do you agree that probably bigger than most of the
- 28:01Speaker 1: girls on the team is not bigger than most of
- 28:03Speaker 1: the girls on the team? Uh mon, daughter, it's bigger
- 28:06Speaker 1: than and she wasn't no banks last ship they hiked
- 28:09Speaker 1: up up. You don't get up to We are just
- 28:12Speaker 1: gonna be big impromp up in the air. I can't
- 28:14Speaker 1: turn the round and I'm here to tell you the table.
- 28:17Speaker 1: Lets be with it before you get here. There's something
- 28:21Speaker 1: else I need to tell you. Ain't gonna tell me something.
- 28:24Speaker 1: All you gotta do is men, have you and the
- 28:26Speaker 1: stairs around that table when I get there, because I'm
- 28:28Speaker 1: on my way up there right now. Then y'all can
- 28:30Speaker 1: say all y'all gotta say in my face before you
- 28:34Speaker 1: get it. I just want to let you know, man,
- 28:36Speaker 1: what this is nephew time? Who this is on this phone? Wait? Wait,
- 28:43Speaker 1: wv hollo, what did you just say? This is a nephew?
- 28:47Speaker 1: Times from the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Be god, Oh lord, hell,
- 29:00Speaker 1: there's another pair named Rochelle. She told me, y'all are
- 29:02Speaker 1: good friends out there. Oh she got so she want
- 29:05Speaker 1: to break out, like we're gonna see the season start.
- 29:08Speaker 1: My stot the uniform. She'll be able to perform. We
- 29:12Speaker 1: looking for hers? How am I think I want to
- 29:14Speaker 1: break out? Oh many? Let me ask, baby, what is
- 29:18Speaker 1: the baddest and I mean the baddest radio show in
- 29:21Speaker 1: the lag love other than they show there? It is people,
- 29:28Speaker 1: good job, she told her. And you can believe that.
- 29:36Speaker 1: I believe that. Stop it, Steve, don't say nothing, but
- 29:44Speaker 1: I got practiced tonight. I gotta go. You know they
- 29:46Speaker 1: listen to you. I didn't all of that. M knock
- 29:58Speaker 1: her soup up. She's this game after how they chill
- 30:04Speaker 1: with all that that they got? The rats can't see
- 30:10Speaker 1: the game has nothing to be cheered for the wrong teams. Yeah,
- 30:15Speaker 1: they don't even truck back Today's place without him. This way,
- 30:20Speaker 1: Shirley Carlor, come out, all of you all on this show.
- 30:23Speaker 1: Y'all going over there this way to Colo was in
- 30:35Speaker 1: the car killing Colin was in the content. Then together
- 30:39Speaker 1: and that's how we came up with that bag. You're
- 30:45Speaker 1: listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show. I'm signing usun jack
- 30:51Speaker 1: with today's headlines. According to Men's Health magazine, guys, scientists
- 30:55Speaker 1: have yet to develop a magic pill that helps you
- 30:59Speaker 1: lose weight without dieting, but some engineers claim they created
- 31:03Speaker 1: a gadget that does do the job. The inventors of
- 31:06Speaker 1: this gadget, called Modius, claim their invention helps you lose
- 31:10Speaker 1: weight by decreasing your appetite and increasing your metabolism. One
- 31:14Speaker 1: of the creators claims he reduced his own bad body
- 31:16Speaker 1: fat by in just a year. That's great, but of
- 31:21Speaker 1: course there is a catch. Guys, there is a catch.
- 31:24Speaker 1: This Modius thing draps to your head and delivers electric
- 31:28Speaker 1: shocks to her brain. You knew it was going to
- 31:36Speaker 1: be a catch, but there you look like what it's targeted.
- 31:47Speaker 1: Of course, this thing sends low level electrical impulses to
- 31:51Speaker 1: the part of the brain that controls body temperature, thirst,
- 31:55Speaker 1: and hunger. Who wants to be skinny? This bad? I mean, okay,
- 32:05Speaker 1: who cares about your brain getting fried a little bit?
- 32:07Speaker 1: If you can have six pack abs, anybody, anybody? Now
- 32:11Speaker 1: you're just sitting back to the house. You a big sex, right,
- 32:22Speaker 1: they got they got a white deal mount every twenty minutes.
- 32:28Speaker 1: But you find Yeah, but you look good, you got
- 32:31Speaker 1: a six pack. You're sitting who ring dude with the diaper? Diaper?
- 32:51Speaker 1: Yeah you got you can't hold your apps. You cut
- 33:08Speaker 1: and searched that treatment. One of the guys that created
- 33:14Speaker 1: it claims he reduced his own body fat by in
- 33:18Speaker 1: just a year. Yeah, but you to shock yourself for
- 33:21Speaker 1: a year and you're eating ribs through a straw juice. Real,
- 33:28Speaker 1: but this is crazy. I mean, we all want this,
- 33:34Speaker 1: but you know no, you don't. You there's just no
- 33:37Speaker 1: easy way. There's no easy way, and you got to
- 33:41Speaker 1: eat work. Yeah, and I've been doing it, man, I've
- 33:45Speaker 1: been eating right. This is your third week or second
- 33:47Speaker 1: that we're entering my third week? Wow, okay, you feel better?
- 33:52Speaker 1: You feel better? Well, I've lost six pounds so that
- 33:58Speaker 1: this week all right? But it's slow, you know, it's
- 34:00Speaker 1: a little slow for me. I want to really get that.
- 34:02Speaker 1: But if I just stay at it and stay consistent,
- 34:05Speaker 1: and I haven't even began to really get it yet,
- 34:08Speaker 1: my body will and about another week start. Really, So
- 34:11Speaker 1: are you lifting or you just doing cardio. You're doing both.
- 34:15Speaker 1: Know that's the quickest way to really do it the
- 34:17Speaker 1: right way. Resistance training is necessary. I've been having sex.
- 34:24Speaker 1: He shut the room down. Did you hear the silence? No,
- 34:27Speaker 1: I'm just waiting for this dunk, okay and coca. It's
- 34:33Speaker 1: a great it's a great workout, guys. I'm just two
- 34:36Speaker 1: a day because you got even here, because you know,
- 34:38Speaker 1: I know it's a great workout for you because you
- 34:40Speaker 1: shot that. Ain't got nothing to do, you know what,
- 34:44Speaker 1: many times you got the jump. We gotta go. I'm
- 34:51Speaker 1: glad whatever, ladies and jentlemen. Here she is by herself,
- 34:59Speaker 1: miss and for m self, corning everybody out there. And
- 35:04Speaker 1: there's a lot of news to talk about. Solistigated on.
- 35:06Speaker 1: Republicans as well as Democrats criticized Donald Trump's initial response
- 35:10Speaker 1: to the racist violence in Charlottesville, because the President said
- 35:14Speaker 1: it was caused by quote many sides, the negative reaction
- 35:17Speaker 1: was swift. In fact, besides politicians, the CEO of the
- 35:20Speaker 1: pharmaceutical company Merk withdrew from President Trump's American Manufacturing Council
- 35:25Speaker 1: to protest Trump's not calling out the hate groups right
- 35:28Speaker 1: away by name. So yesterday afternoon, the President got much
- 35:31Speaker 1: more specific. Racism is evil and those who cause violence
- 35:35Speaker 1: and its name are criminals and thugs, including the KKK,
- 35:40Speaker 1: Neo Nazis, white supremacists, and other hate groups that are
- 35:45Speaker 1: repugnant to everything we hold dear as Americans. By the way,
- 35:50Speaker 1: the US Justice Department says there's a new federal statute
- 35:52Speaker 1: prohibiting domestic terrorism, although the U s Attorney Jeff Session
- 35:56Speaker 1: says it may not apply in this case. Meanwhile, James Fields,
- 36:00Speaker 1: that's the twenty year old Ohio man accused of using
- 36:02Speaker 1: his car to ramans to a group of people who
- 36:04Speaker 1: were protesting the supremacy the white Supremacist rally, and who
- 36:07Speaker 1: killed one woman and injured nineteen others. This guy feels
- 36:10Speaker 1: charged with murder as well as other charges. He says
- 36:12Speaker 1: he couldn't afford an attorney, so one was assigned to him.
- 36:16Speaker 1: Feels appeared by video from jail. Another hearing has been
- 36:19Speaker 1: set for August twenty five. Until then, James Fields remains
- 36:22Speaker 1: in jail. There's a report that this guy, several years
- 36:25Speaker 1: ago was accused of beating his wheelchair brown mother and
- 36:28Speaker 1: of threatening his mother with a knife. By the way,
- 36:31Speaker 1: officials at Texas and M University have abruptly canceled a
- 36:34Speaker 1: white racist rally that was scheduled to take place there
- 36:36Speaker 1: next month. This amit bipartisan pressure from state lawmakers who
- 36:40Speaker 1: said that hatred should be rejected in all forms despite
- 36:42Speaker 1: the First Amendment. A former A and M student named
- 36:45Speaker 1: Preston Wigginton was planning what he was gonna call a
- 36:48Speaker 1: White Lives Matter rally with some other White Lives rat rallies,
- 36:53Speaker 1: rather planned for some other campuses around the country. Thorry
- 36:56Speaker 1: to say they were arrested. A man who want to
- 36:58Speaker 1: bomb a building in Oklahoma City. R S Jerry Drake Bartel,
- 37:02Speaker 1: was plotting with undercover FBI agents who he didn't know
- 37:04Speaker 1: ages and wanted to replicate the Oklahoma City bombing twenty
- 37:07Speaker 1: two years ago to kill so many people and a
- 37:10Speaker 1: multi racial group of fans held a demonstration last weekend
- 37:13Speaker 1: outside M ANDT Bank Stadium in Baltimore in favor of
- 37:16Speaker 1: the Ravens hiring Colin Kaepernick. They're gonna be similar rallies.
- 37:19Speaker 1: In fact, it's going to be something tomorrow at five
- 37:21Speaker 1: pm in New York City outside NFL headquarters for that. Finally,
- 37:25Speaker 1: today is National Cupcake Day. Lemon Meringue Pie Day and
- 37:28Speaker 1: National Cowboys and Cowgirls Day. This has been answered. We'll

- 41:50Speaker 1: hate on my job. That would be doing Number two.
- 41:56Speaker 1: Your mama keeps hitting on me. That's like your mama. Okay.
- 42:03Speaker 1: Number three I thought they were dead already. That's a man. Yeah.
- 42:11Speaker 1: Four oh Jay four Jehovah's Witnesses. Funny number five. Here
- 42:19Speaker 1: we go, people with a nasty house. Okay, those are
- 42:22Speaker 1: your five willcat you know, people on your job. Let's
- 42:27Speaker 1: glass what you want to do? Every I want I want?
- 42:34Speaker 1: Let you stop on. Okay, oh, people with a nasty right,
- 42:39Speaker 1: let me start. Let me start this all. First of all,
- 42:42Speaker 1: if they got a nash the house, you don't have
- 42:44Speaker 1: to get in the house to see how nash it is.
- 42:46Speaker 1: It starts on the porch. They nat you ain't got
- 42:54Speaker 1: all the way in the house to see the night.
- 42:57Speaker 1: That's right, man to tell you what he like about.
- 42:59Speaker 1: You know, somebody got a house. When you get there
- 43:02Speaker 1: and they invite you in, they're so glad for you
- 43:05Speaker 1: to be that. Come on there, you ben't get the
- 43:09Speaker 1: chunk of your what you got somebody's house and it's
- 43:14Speaker 1: a washing machine on the back. Ready you get wreck.
- 43:21Speaker 1: That's just the beginning, all right. You know a house
- 43:27Speaker 1: nasty when they cook it outside on an open trash
- 43:32Speaker 1: can and won't go inside. They used the phrase right
- 43:38Speaker 1: here now, I haven't cleaned up in a while. Let
- 43:43Speaker 1: you know right there, it's real damn gonna be us
- 43:48Speaker 1: with y'all the minimum occupancy. If it's seven that the
- 43:57Speaker 1: minimum and people coming out of nowhere n ear anybody,
- 44:14Speaker 1: ain't none of the damn Pitts house track about this here.
- 44:23Speaker 1: You know it's bad when it's big trash day and
- 44:26Speaker 1: they start trying to load the house into the truck,
- 44:31Speaker 1: the whole house. You sit down, right, you sit down
- 44:37Speaker 1: and you find something. Go oh, I've been looking for that.
- 44:43Speaker 1: Now this ain't no somebody have. Man, when you're the kid,
- 44:46Speaker 1: they make you spend the night, when they slap you

- 55:15Speaker 1: You gotta tell him this here ain't the way you
- 55:17Speaker 1: posted and you talk to him. But if this is
- 55:23Speaker 1: the worst thing your baby doing is talking like me,
- 55:25Speaker 1: your baby might make it. Ye that I agree with
- 55:29Speaker 1: There are worse things in life. Yeah, I agree with that.
- 55:33Speaker 1: I don't really you know, I don't really mind. You
- 55:37Speaker 1: know mind what the way I talk doesn't bother me.
- 55:41Speaker 1: First time you came on radio, that was the speech
- 55:44Speaker 1: you gave in Los Angeles. Don't be calling up here
- 55:48Speaker 1: talking about the way I talk. We gotta go. We'll
- 55:51Speaker 1: be he's still here, We'll be back. I want to
- 55:58Speaker 1: do it. You're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show. Today's
- 56:05Speaker 1: Strawberry Letter is up next, and it's a good one.
- 56:07Speaker 1: But first, Steve. Now, this is according to a recent
- 56:10Speaker 1: we TV survey. Can I say something here? Yeah, you
- 56:13Speaker 1: all do a fabulous job with coming up with these
- 56:16Speaker 1: interesting bits of information and stories. You wouldn't call us well,
- 56:20Speaker 1: thank you. I just wanted to say that on the air,
- 56:24Speaker 1: in front of air thank you. Sad sometimes you don't
- 56:28Speaker 1: thank people a wh What are you saying that you
- 56:31Speaker 1: didn't thank us? Who? Me and Time Engine? Yeah? Oh well,
- 56:36Speaker 1: you know, I mean what y'all want to hell with?
- 56:39Speaker 1: I mean you're telling jokes, you know, ain't like I
- 56:43Speaker 1: ain't in here with you know, y'all just come to work.
- 56:52Speaker 1: Y'all ain't in researching working it out? Girls do that.
- 56:57Speaker 1: So this is according to recent we TV survey. It's
- 57:01Speaker 1: of Americans say they had to get rid of this
- 57:04Speaker 1: after a romantic split. What is it? The answer? A
- 57:08Speaker 1: song they shared with their ex. Yeah, like you have.
- 57:12Speaker 1: That's like, this was your song. You don't want to
- 57:14Speaker 1: hear it no more. You don't, Yeah, you don't want
- 57:17Speaker 1: to hear it. Like your song with Marjorie as a
- 57:19Speaker 1: door right by Prince. Yeah, And I had that with
- 57:23Speaker 1: her when it first came out. Then when we got
- 57:26Speaker 1: back together, still our jam. So I didn't have to
- 57:28Speaker 1: get rid of that. I ain't never had no on
- 57:30Speaker 1: the song nor the woman. I had bad memories. Man,
- 57:33Speaker 1: All my songs is connected to Misseric Man. Like if
- 57:38Speaker 1: I hear Anita Baker's album Rapture, oh yeah, do it
- 57:44Speaker 1: back then? Yeah, I was in the will that hurt
- 57:47Speaker 1: Hey Hand with Leo. All of them songs that Kurt
- 57:50Speaker 1: whal And album, all that reminds me of homelessness. Man,
- 57:55Speaker 1: that was the big album back then, Rapturing on and
- 57:58Speaker 1: to tell you something, ain't don't bring me to your
- 58:01Speaker 1: me and my extre damn stupid. I break down into
- 58:11Speaker 1: your stuff what you're doing because I was about that's
- 58:20Speaker 1: the one to get you, man, the one to break me.
- 58:26Speaker 1: Who's making love to you? Old lady? Making love? Whenever
- 58:31Speaker 1: I hear that those words you're Tommy, what you got
- 58:44Speaker 1: you one? I still love song. She gone, but I
- 58:48Speaker 1: still a little tupac. I get around, still around. I
- 58:59Speaker 1: did a yeah, you know that's that's a cool thing
- 59:02Speaker 1: about though. I'd be learning so much with that dramatic thing.
- 59:05Speaker 1: I didn't got anytime. I had never heard. Now I'm
- 59:10Speaker 1: all in a dramatic. The other day on the set,
- 59:13Speaker 1: my little musical prodigy that works for me is ter Reil.
- 59:16Speaker 1: He's my little young musical product. He's like the closest
- 59:19Speaker 1: thing to me when it comes to mut knowledge of music.
- 59:22Speaker 1: So he's playing this David Hollisted cut and he slowed
- 59:26Speaker 1: it way down like it's a ballot. But I told him,
- 59:29Speaker 1: I said, hey, man, that's Michael McDonald's song right here.
- 59:33Speaker 1: I keep forgetting. We're not in love anymore. Tell me
- 59:36Speaker 1: how my keep forgetting. I heard the letter before the letter,
- 59:49Speaker 1: it's that time. It's that time. Buckle up and hold
- 59:51Speaker 1: on tight. I think it's a good one. Start every letter. Well,
- 59:56Speaker 1: it's definitely a sad one. Subjects hurt and angry mother. Hello,
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: Shirley and Steve. I don't think you have had this
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: problem before, but here it is. I was married to
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: an abusive husband who I found out was also molesting
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: my daughter. I put thirty eight stitches upside his head
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: and had him arrested. He did not serve any time
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: in jail, but received probation and must go to counseling.
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: I moved to another state and tried to start my
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: life over with my children. The problem is when my
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: daughter turned twenty one, she moved back to the state.
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: I left and started living with my ex husband and
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: had a daughter with him. After two years, she moved
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: back in with me, saying she was sick in the
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: head and needed help. I wanted to help her, but
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: I am angry at her and my granddaughter all the time.
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: I want her out of my house, but feel guilty
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: that maybe it is my fault for not protecting her
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: when she was little. She is lazy, won't clean up,
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: and won't work. Help Shirley. What should I do? Okay, okay, First,
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: you're you're so right here. We have never had a
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: letter like this ever. You know, this is sick. I mean,
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: this is horrible. This is unbelievable, you know, And and
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: I'm gonna tell you this not so much that your
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: abusive husband molested your daughter, because as awful as that is,
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: and that is horrible too. We have heard of that
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: happening before. But the fact that when your daughter turned
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: twenty one she went back to him and had a
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: baby with him, that that is simply, uh unthinkable to me.
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: It's it's just unthinkable. So I can totally understand your hurt,
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: I can understand your guilt, I can understand your anger.
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: But but please stop, please stop, if you can, just
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: stop blaming yourself and your daughter and your grand baby,
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: because you did what you You did everything you could
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: do at the time. To me, you put thirty eight
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: stitches upside his head. You had him arrested. I mean,
- 1:01:59Speaker 1: the author these didn't do what they were supposed to do.
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: But as a mom, you know, you did what you could.
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: Maybe you didn't know, and that's why you didn't protect her. Clearly,
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: this man, though, is the villain in this story. Uh.
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: He's your ex husband. Your daughter is the victim here.
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: She went back to him because he was familiar to her.
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: You know, in my estimation, he's a monster. Uh. And
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: my suggestion to you and your daughter, you know, if
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: you could suggest anything, it's to get some counseling. You know,
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: you got to talk about this to someone who is
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: really equipped to handle this type of thing, Steve, I
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: know we don't have a lot of time. I don't.
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: I don't. I don't have an answer here, clearly I
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: do not. On the anside, Gil simply is prayer because
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: I don't really know. You know, I got no jokes
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: for you, that's for sure. But um here, here's here's
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: a deal. The innocent person in all of this is
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: the granddaughter. Okay, she don't know nothing about the history.
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: She don't know. She here, she just here, she says,
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: the granddaughter. The anger at her I don't understand. I
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: think maybe because it's the seed of your ex husband
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: their lives. Reason. I'm not qualified at all here to
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: handle this one right here. We need an expert on
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: this or right here. Uh, Shirley is absolutely correct about
- 1:03:28Speaker 1: about counseling. But man on, man on, man, there's one
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: thing in this letter that's the absolute truth. This is
- 1:03:36Speaker 1: the absolute truth. Your daughter is screaming for help because
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: she said she's sick in the head and needs help,
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: and she knows that. Okay, Wow, you're listening's coming up.
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: In about twenty minutes, Junior has another poem, and Tommy
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: will tell us about famous people as verbs really okay,
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: But first, come on, Steve, Part two of your response
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: to today's Strawberry Letter. Hello Sherley, Steve. I don't think
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: you've had this problem before, but here it is. I'm married.
- 1:04:09Speaker 1: I was married to an abusive husband who I found
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: out also was molesting my daughter. I put thirty eight
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: stitches upside his head and had him arrested. He did
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: not serve any time in jail, but received probation and
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: must go to counseling. I moved to another state and
- 1:04:22Speaker 1: tried to start my life over with my children. A
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: problem is when my daughter turned twenty one, she moved
- 1:04:27Speaker 1: back to the state I left and started living with
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: my ex husband and had a daughter with him. After
- 1:04:33Speaker 1: two years, she moved back in with me, saying she
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: was sick in the head and needed help. I wanted
- 1:04:38Speaker 1: to help her, but I'm angry at her and my
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: granddaughter all the time. I want her out of my house,
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: but I feel guilty that maybe it was my fault
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: for not protecting her when she was little. She is lazy,
- 1:04:48Speaker 1: won't clean up, and won't help help. Shirley. What should
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: I do? We got some real talk for you here,
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: but uh, the part about she's lazy, won't clean up,
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: and won't work U that all that could be true,
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: but you're focusing on that because you're really mad at
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: her about a bunch of other stuff, and so that's
- 1:05:07Speaker 1: the part you want to write about, she's lazy, not that. Well,
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: that makes everything that just a sinuate, accentuates the negative
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: when you're really angry about something else. There is a
- 1:05:17Speaker 1: lot of sick going on in this letter, just a
- 1:05:21Speaker 1: whole lot of sick. First of all, the abusive husband,
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: then the child molesting husband, then the girl becoming of
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: age and going back to the state that you escape
- 1:05:37Speaker 1: from and moving in with the ex husband, and then
- 1:05:42Speaker 1: having a baby with this man, and then coming back
- 1:05:47Speaker 1: to you needing help, saying she's sick in the head,
- 1:05:50Speaker 1: and now you're mad at her and the granddaughter all
- 1:05:54Speaker 1: the time. It's just a lot of sick in this letter,
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: a lot of hell in the needed here. Um as um,
- 1:06:03Speaker 1: somebody needs an ass shopping in this letter. I have
- 1:06:06Speaker 1: a real good idea who he is, and UM, I
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: would start there, even though I don't recommend that to
- 1:06:12Speaker 1: people in real life. That's why I would start. But
- 1:06:15Speaker 1: surely we have a number for this woman why don't
- 1:06:18Speaker 1: you give it? Yeah, it's it's an organization called RAIN.
- 1:06:21Speaker 1: It stands for Rape Abuse in SSS National Network. The
- 1:06:25Speaker 1: number is eight hundred six five six hope, eight hundred
- 1:06:29Speaker 1: six five six hope. Or you can go to RAIN
- 1:06:31Speaker 1: are a I n n dot org. It's an antisexual
- 1:06:35Speaker 1: rain r ai n dot org for anybody out there
- 1:06:39Speaker 1: is going through this. Or a number is one eight
- 1:06:42Speaker 1: hundred six five six hope, eight hundred six five six hope. Um,
- 1:06:48Speaker 1: that's the deal, man. I have nothing else to tell
- 1:06:51Speaker 1: you except you really need that type of help and proyl. Alright, Steve,
- 1:06:55Speaker 1: we gotta go email or Instagram. That's your thoughts on
- 1:06:58Speaker 1: today's Strawberry Letter at Girls Surely and it's getting closer, people,

- 1:08:09Speaker 1: what are you singing about over there? The dooby and
- 1:08:20Speaker 1: the love? He's still in love? You say it's real.
- 1:08:27Speaker 1: We both know it's true. Tell me, tell me why.
- 1:08:41Speaker 1: I know you always think he's finished. Keep forgetting love anymore?
- 1:08:49Speaker 1: It's time to move on. No, keep forgetting any time
- 1:08:56Speaker 1: I see your smile. Yeah, I keep forgetting that though. Hey, No,
- 1:09:05Speaker 1: I keep forgetting he's gone because I keep forgetting it,
- 1:09:07Speaker 1: because every time I see here ago again forget. But
- 1:09:12Speaker 1: women will let your ass remember we're open. We're not together.
- 1:09:17Speaker 1: No more you forgot, Yeah, we're done. You can start
- 1:09:22Speaker 1: leaving in for these kissing what you're telling Hey, get
- 1:09:31Speaker 1: too close. I thought we could be friends. But I'm
- 1:09:36Speaker 1: too closebody, somebody, Now, you haven't been sitting up in there.
- 1:09:43Speaker 1: And somebody came in with a key. Oh, let me
- 1:09:48Speaker 1: tell you something. I'm sitting up in there. Man, my
- 1:09:52Speaker 1: little young ass to roll the bike over this girlhouse.
- 1:09:54Speaker 1: It's older than me. She liked, worked at pick and pay.
- 1:09:58Speaker 1: Dude just put the key in it. Though he came in.
- 1:10:02Speaker 1: He was about twenty five years old. You know I'm
- 1:10:06Speaker 1: seven teens, he said, some little man. You know I'm skinny.
- 1:10:11Speaker 1: I gotta bite. He looked grown in me muscles. You
- 1:10:15Speaker 1: know they're going to back man on Sutday and that
- 1:10:17Speaker 1: just so. Then he said, I'll tell you what. I'm
- 1:10:21Speaker 1: gonna go out here. I bet I bet he won't go.
- 1:10:24Speaker 1: Betty won't come over here no more. Okay. We was
- 1:10:29Speaker 1: on the sixth floor of the apartment. I left that
- 1:10:31Speaker 1: apartment and did not touch a step from land. We
- 1:10:38Speaker 1: gotta go. Coming up next Junior's poetry. Oh Lord, not
- 1:10:43Speaker 1: against Junior. Hey, yes you are, and you know you're
- 1:10:50Speaker 1: don't stop my broth. Sure are you trying to impress someone?
- 1:10:52Speaker 1: That's all I want to know, because I think heativity
- 1:10:55Speaker 1: should always be on going. And if I want, if
- 1:10:58Speaker 1: I want to reinvent my sols, what you're saying that
- 1:11:00Speaker 1: Jesus yeah, and he get who they gave it to me.
- 1:11:05Speaker 1: I don't put that on the law. This is for
- 1:11:09Speaker 1: a lot of people that go unappreciate. You're listening Steve
- 1:11:13Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. All right, Steve at first your nephew
- 1:11:17Speaker 1: with this segment of famous people as verbs. So you
- 1:11:21Speaker 1: gotta explain what that is. We don't know. What I'm
- 1:11:25Speaker 1: saying is there's a lot of people that verbes not
- 1:11:28Speaker 1: like okay, and then most of my famous like to
- 1:11:30Speaker 1: if I if I salonage you what you think that
- 1:11:34Speaker 1: me beat down in elevator? Now if now, if I
- 1:11:43Speaker 1: if I to jay Z, that means you got yours
- 1:11:47Speaker 1: beats a different thing. That's what I mean. Some people
- 1:11:50Speaker 1: are ok this is Tommy talk. It's definitely me called
- 1:11:58Speaker 1: you're verb too, your uncle? Yeah. Yeah, Like if you
- 1:12:04Speaker 1: to Steve Harvey to Steve Harvey somebody, that means you
- 1:12:09Speaker 1: didn't hung out with somebody white that black people didn't
- 1:12:13Speaker 1: like that. Hell you this, Steve Harvey, how is you're
- 1:12:19Speaker 1: doing over there with Ryan? Steve Harvey? You see how
- 1:12:26Speaker 1: they go. They are verb. Now, yeah, I know you
- 1:12:32Speaker 1: didn't Michael vickt me babysitting my dog? What if they
- 1:12:39Speaker 1: famous people? They are verbe they are verbs. I'll be
- 1:12:45Speaker 1: damn if he didn't get if he didn't owe j
- 1:12:47Speaker 1: up in hire, whats to get out Scott free? When
- 1:12:51Speaker 1: your ass just gilt? Here? Now look here here go
- 1:12:58Speaker 1: when you need to remember to Kevin Heart somebody, okay, Kevin,
- 1:13:04Speaker 1: what does that mean? It wouldn't mean get me, but
- 1:13:12Speaker 1: it wouldn't mean that wasn't none of me? Right now
- 1:13:16Speaker 1: here go here go a triple one this Westless knife,
- 1:13:21Speaker 1: Rod and d M. You know what that means. Think
- 1:13:26Speaker 1: that when you ain't paying your tax, you ain't Westley's NiFe.
- 1:13:31Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying. It's like that. Not to
- 1:13:33Speaker 1: Jada pickt somebody you do a crazy crazy here. If
- 1:13:40Speaker 1: I say calling you, you're doing a Jada picking up?
- 1:13:43Speaker 1: Come on, come on, it means you straight up prey.
- 1:13:47Speaker 1: You act like you don't understand that. I think everyone
- 1:13:51Speaker 1: is very unco ye. Women be gonna take stab and
- 1:13:55Speaker 1: then I'm a Colin Kaepernick. This is knee. So look,
- 1:14:05Speaker 1: next time y'all want a day off, just pull the tomic,
- 1:14:11Speaker 1: just pull Tom. Yeah, you could claim that your your
- 1:14:19Speaker 1: damn lord was on the side of the road. You
- 1:14:29Speaker 1: can pull another time. You can call in sick, but
- 1:14:33Speaker 1: then send the video on your damn family playing in
- 1:14:36Speaker 1: the backyard. That was stupid. I can't make it here
- 1:14:44Speaker 1: going video alright, I think we get it. Famous people's verbs. Now,
- 1:14:50Speaker 1: all right, thank you, nephew, Anthony Brown. Leave one show
- 1:14:54Speaker 1: and go to a better show. I'm leaving. I'm leaving,
- 1:15:07Speaker 1: all right. Well, you know you know it continues on
- 1:15:10Speaker 1: this show. It never stops. So now it's time lower
- 1:15:13Speaker 1: the lights please, ladies and gentleman's time for Junior's poetry hours.
- 1:15:18Speaker 1: Just right quick, this poem right here. Yeah, forget that.
- 1:15:24Speaker 1: The point of the poem is is getting close to
- 1:15:28Speaker 1: scoring back school. Yeah, and everybody that's uncles don't get
- 1:15:32Speaker 1: appreciated because we help. Yeah. I got a seven teen
- 1:15:37Speaker 1: yo nephew that's bout to be in the same grade
- 1:15:40Speaker 1: with the fourteen years. He didn't call me. You don't
- 1:15:45Speaker 1: say that on the air. It's on. First of all,
- 1:15:50Speaker 1: hold on what you want? What you want me to
- 1:15:53Speaker 1: act like? It? Ain't he good? Okay? My people, they
- 1:15:56Speaker 1: know you want to act like he's a scholar, does
- 1:15:59Speaker 1: he not? Should I be ashamed of the fact that
- 1:16:02Speaker 1: what he won't do? Now, fourteen old didn't damn near
- 1:16:06Speaker 1: caught the seventh el but I didn't think it was
- 1:16:09Speaker 1: gonna happen. But nor I'm mercy they won grade appault.
- 1:16:12Speaker 1: That's what they like that now. I mean, would he
- 1:16:15Speaker 1: go in the classroom? They think the teacher didn't walk there.
- 1:16:20Speaker 1: That's all I'm saying. What I'm just saying he asked
- 1:16:24Speaker 1: me for some stuff, and I just wanted to let
- 1:16:27Speaker 1: him know this. Now, the name of the poem is
- 1:16:29Speaker 1: I'm just Huncle. Here I'll go, hey hey hey hey
- 1:16:36Speaker 1: hey hey hey hey hey hey hey hey hey hey,
- 1:16:38Speaker 1: I'm just Huncle. Stop asking me for cash, Okay, because
- 1:16:42Speaker 1: when I help you out, you don't do not but
- 1:16:44Speaker 1: walk in another room and just talk trade. Go bag
- 1:16:47Speaker 1: your mom and your daddy because they don't want that
- 1:16:50Speaker 1: had you. Because I'm just Hungle, I can do all
- 1:16:52Speaker 1: I can do now that I know you're going back
- 1:16:55Speaker 1: to school and you light new stuff. But I'm living
- 1:16:58Speaker 1: out here in l as Hies. Hell man, it's even rough. Now.
- 1:17:02Speaker 1: I'm not trying to beat me because I really do
- 1:17:05Speaker 1: love you with all my heart. But I'm gonna get
- 1:17:08Speaker 1: a jump on this. I'm gonna say no before you
- 1:17:11Speaker 1: even started. I'm just huh, that's all I can do.
- 1:17:16Speaker 1: That was called the style conversation. Definitely, that's what you're doing.
- 1:17:21Speaker 1: You're sitting there looking for rhymes. There's no rhymes, and
- 1:17:25Speaker 1: it ain't got to be. It was called you don't
- 1:17:30Speaker 1: you have different styles? This was called the style of conversation.
- 1:17:34Speaker 1: I don't get what I was talking to him. I don't.
- 1:17:39Speaker 1: It's just style, Donald Trump, do you do you have?
- 1:17:46Speaker 1: Do you have? Do you have any kids? Asking you yeah,
- 1:17:50Speaker 1: saying just the yeah. But this was the style of
- 1:17:56Speaker 1: It's called style. I created it. Do you know that
- 1:18:04Speaker 1: this was just most Why would I go listen to most,
- 1:18:08Speaker 1: most deafening, the style of conversation? Style? You made up?
- 1:18:18Speaker 1: All right, we gotta go, we'll be back. You're listening
- 1:18:22Speaker 1: to the stow. The engagement's off, guys. It's off between
- 1:18:28Speaker 1: Evelyn Lozada and her Major League Baseball superstar player Carl Crawford.
- 1:18:35Speaker 1: But if you think it is not giving back that
- 1:18:40Speaker 1: fourteen and a half Caret diamond engagement rings she got
- 1:18:42Speaker 1: from him, uh, Crawford once signed at two million dollar
- 1:18:47Speaker 1: contract and proposed to the basketball wife star with the
- 1:18:51Speaker 1: one point four million dollar ring. This was back in
- 1:18:54Speaker 1: two thousand thirteen. Evelyn obviously said yes. The two were
- 1:18:58Speaker 1: set to get married three weeks ago. Uh huh, they
- 1:19:01Speaker 1: were set to get married three weeks ago, but Evelyn
- 1:19:04Speaker 1: pulled the plug after getting suspicious. Oh, she was suspicious
- 1:19:09Speaker 1: about Carl's fidelity. Was he cheating? She was, You ought
- 1:19:17Speaker 1: to be able to cheat? Now, if you got a
- 1:19:24Speaker 1: ring for one people doing, you got a one point
- 1:19:31Speaker 1: on me and Rain they it made no damn Yeah.
- 1:19:34Speaker 1: And the rule is if you call the wedding off,
- 1:19:37Speaker 1: then you have to give the ring back. And she
- 1:19:39Speaker 1: did that. Legally, she's obligated to give the ring since
- 1:19:44Speaker 1: the engagement ring is considered a conditional gift in California,
- 1:19:47Speaker 1: the condition being she has to get married, all right,
- 1:19:50Speaker 1: So what do you think is an appropriate amount to
- 1:19:52Speaker 1: spend on an engagement ring? One point four? Tommy says,
- 1:19:57Speaker 1: one point before you ought to be able to cheat?
- 1:20:01Speaker 1: Whatever you feel like. I don't know if I understand this,
- 1:20:04Speaker 1: Rain but cold that's the only one to understanding, right
- 1:20:08Speaker 1: and a half. And he signed a contract A hundred
- 1:20:10Speaker 1: and forty two million. I don't think he's playing anymore. Yeah,
- 1:20:17Speaker 1: I don't think he's x X. I don't think. I
- 1:20:20Speaker 1: don't think he's playing anymore. But he still has the money, right,
- 1:20:24Speaker 1: I mean once signed the country and yeah, so he
- 1:20:26Speaker 1: don't have that let it well. I mean, you know,
- 1:20:29Speaker 1: you know it's smart. A lot of baseball players are smart.
- 1:20:35Speaker 1: They get a really good guidance. You know. I don't know, man,
- 1:20:39Speaker 1: I think he has money left. I'm pretty sure he
- 1:20:42Speaker 1: doesn't let it have a ring. I don't. I mean
- 1:20:44Speaker 1: it's something her. She called it off. But I mean
- 1:20:47Speaker 1: I like ev I like a lot. You know, I
- 1:20:52Speaker 1: don't know her, know her. You know she's a person.
- 1:20:56Speaker 1: She really pulled herself together, you know, went and got
- 1:20:59Speaker 1: some therapy and know what was really bothering her, and
- 1:21:01Speaker 1: she really became a really really smooth person. I don't
- 1:21:06Speaker 1: know what a man is doing. Is he you got
- 1:21:13Speaker 1: a bad chick and she is a little boy by
- 1:21:17Speaker 1: him too. They have a child together as well. Know
- 1:21:20Speaker 1: that'll you know the break up, you're gonna get my ring?
- 1:21:24Speaker 1: What huh? Yes said I need that ring back. You're
- 1:21:30Speaker 1: not getting it. I'll say that higher ye, ring back
- 1:21:37Speaker 1: pain and stuffer. You know if he yeah, what if
- 1:21:41Speaker 1: he respected, if he's cheating, he's not gonna get there. No,
- 1:21:46Speaker 1: that's cash did yes, Yes, And if they didn't they
- 1:21:52Speaker 1: didn't sign a is now dependent? Yeah. Well if if
- 1:21:56Speaker 1: they didn't sign a pre nump in California, if they
- 1:22:00Speaker 1: and living together for a while, yeah, Man, I don't
- 1:22:03Speaker 1: say that you're gonna want a whole another candlebee. That's California.
- 1:22:07Speaker 1: That's I mean, that's California. Let me ask you, when
- 1:22:11Speaker 1: you got a ring like that that cost that much money,
- 1:22:14Speaker 1: where where can you what do you where can you
- 1:22:16Speaker 1: take that ring to cash in? You don't? I told
- 1:22:20Speaker 1: you it's dependent now around my neck, I'm shop. We'll
- 1:22:28Speaker 1: just ask me, what do you mean? How do you
- 1:22:30Speaker 1: You can get it back down in the Diamond district
- 1:22:34Speaker 1: or you can make AMD district. They got the one
- 1:22:37Speaker 1: in l a and the one in New York. You
- 1:22:39Speaker 1: can take it off and go down there and get
- 1:22:41Speaker 1: it a praise, get your get to get the certification
- 1:22:45Speaker 1: certificately and everything. And then they have some stories who
- 1:22:48Speaker 1: can make your offers on think's not gonna be what
- 1:22:52Speaker 1: you paid because they're gonna make some money, but you
- 1:22:54Speaker 1: can get a chunk of change. You won't. You won't
- 1:22:57Speaker 1: lose a lot. Diamonds don't lose the value unless you
- 1:23:01Speaker 1: pay some astronomical retail price. But if this guy is
- 1:23:05Speaker 1: claiming to have paid one point four million for this
- 1:23:08Speaker 1: r for then he paid retail. He paid retail. He
- 1:23:13Speaker 1: didn't go and get it the right one wholesale. When
- 1:23:18Speaker 1: you're buying, when you go fourteen carriage, you can go
- 1:23:20Speaker 1: behind the door. When you have money like that, you

- 1:25:53Speaker 1: to his bail bond hearing, but he still dodged the
- 1:25:57Speaker 1: jail bullet. He still didn't have to go to jail.
- 1:25:59Speaker 1: U X and his attorney, Murray Richmond, showed up to
- 1:26:02Speaker 1: court on Friday morning in New York City and the

- 1:33:29Speaker 1: house is under major construction. All right, we'll be back
- 1:33:35Speaker 1: with just one more thing to close out the show. Okay,
- 1:33:39Speaker 1: we're gonna be in that black you're listening to Steve
- 1:33:44Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. Financial planner and author Tom Corley spent
- 1:33:48Speaker 1: five years studying the differences between rich people and poor people.
- 1:33:53Speaker 1: There's a lot of stuff more than that. A little
- 1:33:57Speaker 1: book donna be missing it from Tom Coring. I tell
- 1:34:02Speaker 1: you right now this book has vague believing that ain't
- 1:34:05Speaker 1: any He spent five years study boy, I was eight
- 1:34:11Speaker 1: years stock raving. He's an author. He spent five years
- 1:34:18Speaker 1: studying the differences between and rich people and poor people.
- 1:34:21Speaker 1: Here's a rundown of some of the things rich people
- 1:34:24Speaker 1: do that poor people don't. Let's see if these are
- 1:34:27Speaker 1: some of the things that you've told us about, Steve
- 1:34:29Speaker 1: uh One exercise, he says, rich people exercise, poor people don't.
- 1:34:36Speaker 1: Number two, poor people are exhausted people exercise, the run
- 1:34:41Speaker 1: to the gym membership? What else you got? Number to
- 1:34:45Speaker 1: build relationships? How they got too many. But as you
- 1:34:54Speaker 1: start to get rich, they start coming out work. But
- 1:34:57Speaker 1: in order to do that, you have to build relationships.
- 1:35:00Speaker 1: Are you understand that his relationships that get you there?
- 1:35:04Speaker 1: Some people never understand the relationship part of it. Do
- 1:35:08Speaker 1: you know who specifically in the room? Yeah, all right,
- 1:35:16Speaker 1: if you if this is one that you tell us
- 1:35:18Speaker 1: a lot about, with the dream board and all that. Steve,
- 1:35:21Speaker 1: visualize your goals. Yeah, I like that. Yeah, yeah, if
- 1:35:26Speaker 1: you don't do that. And it's also a scripture, is
- 1:35:28Speaker 1: Rebecca too, And to write the vision and make it
- 1:35:31Speaker 1: plain so that he who reads it will run to
- 1:35:33Speaker 1: it and even though it terry, wait for it for
- 1:35:36Speaker 1: surely it will come at an appointed time. It's almost
- 1:35:39Speaker 1: if you can't see it, you can't achieve it. Man.
- 1:35:41Speaker 1: That's right. That's yeah, that's right. Number four read a
- 1:35:48Speaker 1: lot that. Yeah, that's not necessary. You didn't do it.
- 1:35:57Speaker 1: It's not is food and wrote three books exactly do
- 1:36:04Speaker 1: TV and he doesn't want all right, here's the number five.
- 1:36:13Speaker 1: Repeat positive affirmations to themselves. You do that all the time,
- 1:36:17Speaker 1: all the time. You do that. Number six volunteer, does
- 1:36:22Speaker 1: that give yourself, give up your time. You do that
- 1:36:28Speaker 1: all the time. That they should read the phrase that
- 1:36:31Speaker 1: two more vote you know, philanthropic Yeah yeah. Number seven
- 1:36:38Speaker 1: maintain a close relationship with a mentor. Uh yeah, you
- 1:36:44Speaker 1: have several And these are things that you know. Some
- 1:36:47Speaker 1: of these not the read part, of course, But you've
- 1:36:51Speaker 1: been saying for a long time for us to do
- 1:36:53Speaker 1: this for a long time. I repeat it over and
- 1:36:55Speaker 1: over and over. That's what I've learned. I've learned and
- 1:36:57Speaker 1: it's necessary. And now that I've been seeking counsel from
- 1:37:01Speaker 1: some very very wealthy people to learn more about it,
- 1:37:05Speaker 1: I've even I've even learned some things that I have
- 1:37:08Speaker 1: to change. I have to I have to up the
- 1:37:09Speaker 1: level that I think. I have to up my thinking.
- 1:37:12Speaker 1: I have to scale everything up. Yeah, man, i gotta
- 1:37:16Speaker 1: scale everything up to get to the next level, which
- 1:37:19Speaker 1: I'm presently doing right now. I also learned that you
- 1:37:22Speaker 1: have to make some tough decisions with your business and
- 1:37:26Speaker 1: you you have to. You you have to prune the
- 1:37:30Speaker 1: tree often and man is painful. It's painful. They have
- 1:37:36Speaker 1: to do that, and uh, you have to. You have
- 1:37:39Speaker 1: to real people in and you have to you have
- 1:37:41Speaker 1: to reassess your company all the time. I've got some
- 1:37:45Speaker 1: really really smart people around me, but I also have
- 1:37:49Speaker 1: some people around me because and just human nature. Friends
- 1:37:52Speaker 1: come around you for various reasons, and all of us
- 1:37:55Speaker 1: have this important time. Some people are our friends because
- 1:37:59Speaker 1: they have an your motive for being out friends. They
- 1:38:02Speaker 1: need something or want something or see a way to
- 1:38:05Speaker 1: get something from us. At whatever level you are, and
- 1:38:09Speaker 1: you have to be aware of that every friendship that
- 1:38:13Speaker 1: comes towards your life is not from the the genuine
- 1:38:18Speaker 1: pure friendship. Let me bring something to your life. If
- 1:38:24Speaker 1: the moment you'll see them warning something, you have to
- 1:38:29Speaker 1: start watching for me. I just got here about yeah,
- 1:38:37Speaker 1: I feel it. Feel friends want something in the tree.
- 1:38:45Speaker 1: I just got here. That's my I don't see why
- 1:38:53Speaker 1: you don't see this, don't you guys have been friends
- 1:38:58Speaker 1: for a long time. Don't let me ask your question.
- 1:39:04Speaker 1: Can you think of a person currently that's in your
- 1:39:07Speaker 1: life that you think it's in your life for some
- 1:39:11Speaker 1: type of game. Yeah, j I know about five and
- 1:39:16Speaker 1: it's too late when they get in. There's too late.
- 1:39:18Speaker 1: When you see it now, it's not too now. Yeah,
- 1:39:21Speaker 1: it's too late. You can cut the bleeding off. You
- 1:39:24Speaker 1: can stop the bleeding before you get bled to death.
- 1:39:29Speaker 1: You got somebody in your life, Jay, I wish you
- 1:39:31Speaker 1: had let me know this like a couple weeks ago.
- 1:39:33Speaker 1: Then I can just don't get my affairs in order
- 1:39:36Speaker 1: because I know I know what you're doing. Nobody in yours.
- 1:39:45Speaker 1: I feel it. I feel it coming, man, Thomas's the weekend.
- 1:39:51Speaker 1: I definitely do. I definitely do. Monica, she's shaking her head. Yes,
- 1:39:59Speaker 1: oh yeah see so not what you have to do now.
- 1:40:03Speaker 1: And here's a tough decision that you have to make
- 1:40:06Speaker 1: because if you don't, it is going to worsen, and
- 1:40:10Speaker 1: you're they are going to develop a sense of entitlement.
- 1:40:14Speaker 1: And then once they attached a lifestyle to this attackment
- 1:40:18Speaker 1: for this little favor you're doing with something, then the
- 1:40:21Speaker 1: heart in you is very hard for you to try
- 1:40:25Speaker 1: to take a person's lifestyle from him. Oh yeah, we're
- 1:40:30Speaker 1: doll going to Jen, thanks for coming, for sure to go.
- 1:40:36Speaker 1: It's great week. You have a break. You a week.
