- 0:39Speaker 1: I don't join joining you doing me? You gotta turn
- 1:23Speaker 1: you are you gotta turn to turn them out? Turn
- 1:44Speaker 1: you got to turn them out? Then turn the water
- 1:48Speaker 1: the water go. Come come on, huh, I shure we
- 2:04Speaker 1: of Hey, good morning everybody. You're listening to the voice.
- 2:08Speaker 1: Come on dig me now, one and only Steve Harvey
- 2:11Speaker 1: got a radio show. I've been saying it like that
- 2:14Speaker 1: since I got it, too. I figure why I stop now?
- 2:19Speaker 1: A lot of people get bored with stuff that works
- 2:21Speaker 1: for them because they just want to do something different. Sometimes, man,
- 2:25Speaker 1: repetition is good. Sometimes repetition is good over and over
- 2:31Speaker 1: and over until it becomes second nature, and then it's
- 2:34Speaker 1: almost like you ain't doing it at all. That's what
- 2:37Speaker 1: I found. That's just a little piece of information. Y'all
- 2:40Speaker 1: probably already know that, though. Sometimes I'm just a reminder.
- 2:44Speaker 1: That's it, all right. I got a good one for
- 2:46Speaker 1: you today. Yesterday the other day I was talking to
- 2:49Speaker 1: you about the most effective weapon available to us as
- 2:52Speaker 1: human beings, I think is prayer. I think prayer helps
- 2:56Speaker 1: us in so many ways. But right now what I
- 2:59Speaker 1: want to do is I want to show you how
- 3:02Speaker 1: prayer pays off. I want I want to show you
- 3:05Speaker 1: what good it can do for you. Even me, I
- 3:08Speaker 1: use it every day, and and the days I don't
- 3:11Speaker 1: use it, I feel it that that, you know, the
- 3:15Speaker 1: days that I go, you know, without talking to him
- 3:17Speaker 1: as much, I notice it. I feel it. I feel
- 3:20Speaker 1: a certain kind of way. You know, those are those
- 3:23Speaker 1: that doubt starts slipping in again, that uneasy feeling of
- 3:27Speaker 1: uncertainty slips in again, That that wondering what I'm gonna
- 3:30Speaker 1: do starts slipping in again. Happens to me, It happens everybody, man,
- 3:34Speaker 1: I think, I really, really do you know, if people
- 3:36Speaker 1: would just keep it real with each other, stop being
- 3:40Speaker 1: this Christian this superman, because you ain't you ain't. There's
- 3:45Speaker 1: a scripture that says that's none perfect, no not one,
- 3:51Speaker 1: that's everybody that that cover all of us don't. And
- 3:54Speaker 1: so sometimes I think we're a little too hard on
- 3:57Speaker 1: each other with that too, seeing us how we're not perfect.
- 4:01Speaker 1: We immediately want to just just oh man, you just
- 4:05Speaker 1: want to kill when we find somebody do something wrong.
- 4:08Speaker 1: But if you go public, everything go public. Now it
- 4:10Speaker 1: calls social media. But anyway, I just want to talk
- 4:13Speaker 1: to you about how prayer pays off. It's called all
- 4:17Speaker 1: eye and money. People got money call it all eyes
- 4:21Speaker 1: a return on investment. People are always looking for a
- 4:24Speaker 1: return on investment. You know, nobody, nobody in business really
- 4:28Speaker 1: gives you money without understanding the return on investment. They
- 4:32Speaker 1: don't even give moneys to charities unless they think it
- 4:36Speaker 1: can do something with the bottom line. A lot of
- 4:38Speaker 1: companies work like that. I found out out myself. Sad,
- 4:42Speaker 1: but it is true. So since everything is expected to
- 4:46Speaker 1: work on a return on investment as soon because we're
- 4:49Speaker 1: human beings. So since we all human beings, whether you're
- 4:51Speaker 1: in business or not, you're still in the business of living.
- 4:57Speaker 1: I think when you pray, you should expect a return
- 5:01Speaker 1: on your investment. You talk to him, you spent time,
- 5:06Speaker 1: open it up to him, you bowed your head to him,
- 5:10Speaker 1: you humbled yourself, you got on your knees. I mean,
- 5:15Speaker 1: but really we're talking God here, So really, what you're
- 5:17Speaker 1: doing ain't really about nothing. Be honest with you. The
- 5:19Speaker 1: little bit that you do do on his behalf, it
- 5:23Speaker 1: just pales in comparison with what he does. But let's
- 5:26Speaker 1: just say you want to call yourself invested, well, let
- 5:30Speaker 1: me show you how it pays off this because for me,
- 5:33Speaker 1: this is for me now. Prayer pays off in different ways.
- 5:36Speaker 1: That's what I had to learn. See, I was praying,
- 5:40Speaker 1: but I was asking him specifically for what I wanted.
- 5:43Speaker 1: I had the audacity, though, to turn around and tell
- 5:46Speaker 1: him how to do what I wanted. That's amazing. Man.
- 5:50Speaker 1: I can't tell you how many blessings I blocked coming
- 5:52Speaker 1: my way by putting my faith in what I said
- 5:56Speaker 1: I wanted and how I wanted him to do it.
- 5:59Speaker 1: I want you to give me this. I want that
- 6:02Speaker 1: person to go away. I want this person to accept
- 6:06Speaker 1: everything you say. Then I want to go over here,
- 6:08Speaker 1: and I want this deal to happen like this, and
- 6:11Speaker 1: I want that person to just step aside and let
- 6:14Speaker 1: me let me through. And then I wanted I was.
- 6:17Speaker 1: I hadn't mapped out. God must have been chuckling really hard.
- 6:21Speaker 1: He hadn't been going. Boy, I made you to be funny,
- 6:24Speaker 1: But boy, you're funny now so you're gonna tell me
- 6:26Speaker 1: how to do it. And you've all heard this right here.
- 6:28Speaker 1: If you want to make God laugh telling me your plan,
- 6:31Speaker 1: well that's what I did, and that's how we pray.
- 6:33Speaker 1: A lot of times we pray, and we pray in
- 6:37Speaker 1: the prayer with telling him how to work it out. Well,
- 6:41Speaker 1: here's a deal. This is what I've learned. Prayer pays
- 6:44Speaker 1: off in different ways. There's a different return of my
- 6:47Speaker 1: investment when I pray. See, sometimes when I'm praying for something,
- 6:53Speaker 1: a situation to dissolve itself or go away, sometimes I
- 6:58Speaker 1: get courage out of the prayer. Prayer provides me courage.
- 7:03Speaker 1: That's just to go on and look at it. I
- 7:06Speaker 1: guess face it. Then. Sometimes when I'm praying about a situation,
- 7:14Speaker 1: sometimes prayer gives me hanging power. Sometimes, man, it just
- 7:18Speaker 1: I look up and I'm just handling it better. Sometimes
- 7:22Speaker 1: prayer gives you laugh at off power. Sometimes, man, you
- 7:27Speaker 1: just got to laugh at off whatever. Man you trip it?
- 7:34Speaker 1: Do you know what that is? If you could do that,
- 7:38Speaker 1: you know. Sometimes it gives it gives you a show
- 7:41Speaker 1: of strength power. Sometimes prayer allows you to have the
- 7:47Speaker 1: appearance that you got it all together. Nobody got to
- 7:51Speaker 1: know the world. When the tornado, the hurricane that's swirling
- 7:55Speaker 1: in your life, you're standing over that, like the eye
- 7:58Speaker 1: the hurricane, you just and it's all swirling around you,
- 8:01Speaker 1: but you're stating that, like the eye, you just as calm.
- 8:04Speaker 1: That's what prayer does. So when you pray, man, it
- 8:07Speaker 1: builds up a lot of things in you. You know
- 8:10Speaker 1: what it's done for me. Prayer has built up character
- 8:13Speaker 1: in me. It's made me have more character because I'm
- 8:17Speaker 1: able to stand stronger on the things I say because
- 8:20Speaker 1: I've been praying, because I've been asking God for all
- 8:24Speaker 1: of those return of investments. I've been asking God for courage.
- 8:28Speaker 1: I've been asking God for hanging that power. I've been
- 8:31Speaker 1: asking him to give me the power to walk away.
- 8:33Speaker 1: I've asked him to give me ignored power. I've asking
- 8:37Speaker 1: to help me laugh at off. I've asked him to
- 8:39Speaker 1: show me strength. But you know what I was doing,
- 8:41Speaker 1: I was really praying, not really for them things be
- 8:43Speaker 1: real with you. I was asking them to help me, Lord,
- 8:47Speaker 1: help me. You ever done that? You've asked God for
- 8:49Speaker 1: help and then all of a sudden a list of
- 8:51Speaker 1: these things show up. See sometimes how you want the
- 8:54Speaker 1: problem to be solved. Ain't the best way. There's a
- 8:57Speaker 1: lesson to be learned when we make mistakes and times.
- 9:00Speaker 1: You got to stay in that fire and you gotta
- 9:02Speaker 1: learn that lesson. But guess what, though, when you come
- 9:06Speaker 1: out of it, you're gonna be better for it. You're
- 9:08Speaker 1: gonna know more about it. Come on, y'all, pray. Ain't
- 9:11Speaker 1: nothing wrong with it. You didn't tried everything else. Look
- 9:14Speaker 1: where you're at? Now? What about prayer? Now? People kill me?
- 9:18Speaker 1: Man trying to talk me off this hustle right here.
- 9:21Speaker 1: God ain't this, and God ain't yon yonder. Lord left me. Lord,
- 9:24Speaker 1: don't leave no body. Man. Look at your decisions. God
- 9:28Speaker 1: has never left you. You turned your back, You went
- 9:31Speaker 1: the other way, You tried something else. You you you,
- 9:34Speaker 1: you took another swing, you went another route. You look
- 9:37Speaker 1: for an alternative solution. That was you. That ain't never him.
- 9:41Speaker 1: He's solid. His word is true. It lasts forever. He
- 9:44Speaker 1: do what he say gonna do now, all day, all night.
- 9:49Speaker 1: Twenty four seven, he twenty four eight. He do it
- 9:53Speaker 1: all day, all night, and then some more. His word
- 9:55Speaker 1: don't ever change. It is true. It works for me,
- 9:58Speaker 1: It worked for you. It worked for Jake's. It worked
- 10:02Speaker 1: for Old Steam, It worked for Kirk Franklin. It worked
- 10:05Speaker 1: for Paula White, It worked for Billy Graham. It worked
- 10:09Speaker 1: for Mother Teresa, It worked for Gandhi, It worked for
- 10:13Speaker 1: the Princess Arabs. It worked, man, it worked for you.
- 10:19Speaker 1: What you're waiting for? Why don't you put praying your game?
- 10:23Speaker 1: Watch what happened to you? You're sitting in that jail
- 10:25Speaker 1: celle and you're struggling with it, and they're telling you
- 10:28Speaker 1: bloody and blood out. You can't get in you. That's foolishness, man,
- 10:32Speaker 1: What you mean God can get you out of anything. Look, man,
- 10:35Speaker 1: if you didn't read your Bible, he didn't got some
- 10:37Speaker 1: people out of some sticky situations. I don't know what
- 10:39Speaker 1: you're talking about. If Daniel was in the lions den
- 10:42Speaker 1: and Jonah was in the belly of the whale, what
- 10:44Speaker 1: you're talking about? Where you are? You just sitting in
- 10:46Speaker 1: the sale with some dudes round and you're talking about
- 10:47Speaker 1: what they gonna do. Man, you gotta be real. God,
- 10:50Speaker 1: it can't nothing to do nothing. Nobody can't nobody do
- 10:53Speaker 1: nothing to you. God won't give you to strift to handle.
- 10:56Speaker 1: Prayer changes things, man, you're listening. Show. Ladies and gentlemen,

- 13:05Speaker 1: they don't really people that tell you that all the time,
- 13:06Speaker 1: they ain't praying for you. You know that because when
- 13:10Speaker 1: I said, getting me too. But you know when say
- 13:14Speaker 1: that and they don't mean it. Yeah you know that.
- 13:16Speaker 1: Well what was saying? How do you know it? How
- 13:18Speaker 1: do you know that they don't mean because the chuckle
- 13:20Speaker 1: at the end when they say, because I don't know,
- 13:22Speaker 1: I'm gonna pray for you, I'm gonna pray for you. Man, Man,
- 13:25Speaker 1: Lord just put it on my heart to tell you
- 13:28Speaker 1: the holly Lord your heart. That's the Lord's business. You're sile.
- 13:34Speaker 1: I know your heart it ain't good. Why do we
- 13:38Speaker 1: tell you and not me though? That's what I don't
- 13:40Speaker 1: know why at wanna say nothing to me? Man, my
- 13:44Speaker 1: cousin will staying at my grandmother house, tell me it's
- 13:47Speaker 1: the greatest line I've ever heard. Instead of the house,
- 13:48Speaker 1: he standing in the back room, my cup. Staying in
- 13:50Speaker 1: the back room my grandmother house. He went to my
- 13:52Speaker 1: grandmother room and said, the Lord called me to preach.
- 13:55Speaker 1: My grandma said, ain't no where in the world. The
- 13:57Speaker 1: Lord came in my house by paths my room. Are
- 14:01Speaker 1: you He wouldn't do nothing like that? What do you do?
- 14:09Speaker 1: You live it in the back room with my he
- 14:11Speaker 1: he called you reach that's funny, but you don't Yeah,
- 14:16Speaker 1: you know, I know, you know, you all don't know
- 14:19Speaker 1: if that's not true. It's your second time out, Thank you, Tom.
- 14:26Speaker 1: All right, well listen, coming up at thirty two after
- 14:28Speaker 1: the hour, guys, Now, did you get a chance to
- 14:31Speaker 1: watch the president's border wall speech last night? Oh? My god,
- 14:36Speaker 1: I mean, it was so much hype around this speech,
- 14:38Speaker 1: and boy, all right, there were a lot of people
- 14:40Speaker 1: who actually boycotted watching his speech. We'll tell you about
- 14:44Speaker 1: it right after this. You're listening, all right. Last night
- 14:51Speaker 1: there was a hashtag trending hashtag boycott Trump prime Time
- 14:56Speaker 1: and so, Steve, people were tweeting this even be for
- 15:00Speaker 1: President Trump's primetime speech on the government shut down in
- 15:03Speaker 1: border Wall. One person treated, I would rather organize my
- 15:07Speaker 1: sock drawer than to watch his speech. Others tweeted not
- 15:13Speaker 1: watching any more of his lies. Okay, so Steve. I mean,
- 15:17Speaker 1: people weren't feeling this. It was a lot of hype
- 15:19Speaker 1: surrounding this speech. Um, you know, we didn't know what
- 15:22Speaker 1: to expect. But it was nine minutes. It was. It
- 15:25Speaker 1: was very short, very very short. Let my brother said
- 15:29Speaker 1: he tried to get a prostate exam. Why he was okay,
- 15:32Speaker 1: all right, wow. According to the Huffington Post, Steve, the
- 15:43Speaker 1: government shut down is very painful. It's very real. Federal
- 15:47Speaker 1: workers are maxing out their credit cards, they're foregoing medication,
- 15:51Speaker 1: they're getting loans during this shutdown. This is serious business
- 15:55Speaker 1: because these people aren't getting paid. They are not getting paid.
- 15:59Speaker 1: Their borrow money from their relatives and stuff, and so
- 16:04Speaker 1: many federal workers are fearful that if they don't get
- 16:07Speaker 1: their next paycheck, they will have to find, you know,
- 16:09Speaker 1: like some side jobs and stuff. As we know, President
- 16:13Speaker 1: Trump and Democratic leaders have made little headway as the
- 16:17Speaker 1: President demands five billion dollars, close to six billion dollars
- 16:21Speaker 1: for this wall along the southern border and some sort
- 16:24Speaker 1: of steel barrier. Here's some of the president's speech from
- 16:27Speaker 1: the Oval Office. Check this out. Step to every member
- 16:31Speaker 1: of Congress, pass a bill that ends this crisis, to
- 16:37Speaker 1: every citizen called Congress, and tell them to finally, after
- 16:42Speaker 1: all of these decades, secure our border. This is a
- 16:47Speaker 1: choice between right and wrong, justice and injustice. This is
- 16:54Speaker 1: about whether we fulfill our sacred duty to the American
- 16:58Speaker 1: citizens we serve. When I took the oath of office,
- 17:02Speaker 1: I swore to protect our country and that is what
- 17:08Speaker 1: I will always do. So help me, God, thank you,
- 17:13Speaker 1: and good night. He sounds sick. You know I'm sick
- 17:20Speaker 1: because you know what he's trying for the first time.
- 17:24Speaker 1: He's trying to sound presidential. He's trying to sound authoritative,
- 17:30Speaker 1: and it comes across crazy. And first of all, in
- 17:35Speaker 1: the justice segment, I didn't get a chance to see
- 17:37Speaker 1: the speech because I was working. I probably wouldn't have
- 17:42Speaker 1: got in time. But that's what he doesn't know. He
- 17:47Speaker 1: doesn't care anything about the difference between right and wrong.
- 17:52Speaker 1: When you lie as many times as he's lied, he
- 17:55Speaker 1: has no like When Nate said him, do you tell
- 17:59Speaker 1: the truth? He says, I tell the truth whenever I can.
- 18:04Speaker 1: What that what that means, and when you can't, you can,
- 18:10Speaker 1: and then when it when it means, when it's not
- 18:12Speaker 1: appropriate or self serving, I say what I want. But
- 18:16Speaker 1: if I can tell you the truth, I do it.
- 18:18Speaker 1: If I can't, if I can't, what you want me,
- 18:20Speaker 1: I got lie to you. I got gonna lie to you.
- 18:22Speaker 1: That's different than saying, can you loan me fifty dollars? Well,
- 18:25Speaker 1: I would do it if I can. You know, that's
- 18:28Speaker 1: a little different because if you don't, if you you know,
- 18:31Speaker 1: you don't have it, or if you or you might
- 18:33Speaker 1: have it. So if you know, you know what I'm
- 18:35Speaker 1: He's taking this government shut down and he wants Congress
- 18:39Speaker 1: to pass a bill. Well, they had a bipartisan bill
- 18:43Speaker 1: where they were funding over a billion dollars for border
- 18:48Speaker 1: security along with some other things that were on the table.
- 18:53Speaker 1: Chuck Schumer said, and even even the head the leaders
- 18:59Speaker 1: of the Publican Party says, we'll take this to Donald Trump.
- 19:02Speaker 1: We can work with this. They took it to him
- 19:05Speaker 1: and he refused to sign. Change his mind after he
- 19:08Speaker 1: said he would ye. So now what the old GOP
- 19:12Speaker 1: party has said is we're not taking anything to the
- 19:15Speaker 1: president that he won't sign. Well, now, guess what this old, crazy,
- 19:22Speaker 1: non carring, non relatable person who's the president has says
- 19:27Speaker 1: all or nothing five point six billion or nothing it. Meanwhile,
- 19:34Speaker 1: the Coast Guard, the TSA workers, all these government employees
- 19:39Speaker 1: are without money, and he's saying stuff like they'll figure
- 19:44Speaker 1: it out, they can work it out. Call your landlords.
- 19:48Speaker 1: He ain't never been without, has no idea what they're
- 19:52Speaker 1: going through. Peck to paychecks, you don't know what the
- 19:57Speaker 1: third of the right, right, Yeah, he's never paid late fees, right,
- 20:03Speaker 1: Steve late fees? Well, why hold the American citizens hostage
- 20:09Speaker 1: over this situation? What do you want to get? What
- 20:12Speaker 1: you want? That is so selfish and to and to
- 20:16Speaker 1: blame it on the Democrats. That's really his goal, to
- 20:18Speaker 1: blame it on the Democrats. He's he's got a campaign
- 20:22Speaker 1: to enter into. I mean it's almost election time again. Yeah,
- 20:26Speaker 1: you know, so we've got to get into that. He
- 20:28Speaker 1: bought eight hundred thousand down and votes in twenty twenty. Yeah,
- 20:32Speaker 1: do we have time to play the Chuck Schumer response,
- 20:35Speaker 1: Oh yeah, let's do that through the speech last night
- 20:38Speaker 1: Democratic rebuttal Steve, My fellow Americans, there is no challenge
- 20:43Speaker 1: so great that our nation cannot rise to meet it.
- 20:46Speaker 1: We can reopen the government and continue to work through
- 20:49Speaker 1: disagreements over policy. We can secure our border without an ineffective,
- 20:55Speaker 1: expensive wall, and we can welcome legal immigrants and refugees
- 21:00Speaker 1: without compromising safety and security. The symbol of America should

- 30:14Speaker 1: Kim Kardashian is becoming the fairy godmother of prison inmates
- 30:18Speaker 1: because they're flooding her inbox with just thousands and thousands
- 30:22Speaker 1: of letters every day asking her to help them find freedom.
- 30:27Speaker 1: Sources close to Kim told TMC that inmates around the
- 30:30Speaker 1: country are sending her an endless amount of notes. Uh

- 31:08Speaker 1: was like major major accomplishments, you know. So congratulations, yeah,
- 31:12Speaker 1: and thank you. Also in entertainment news, Teraji p Henson
- 31:16Speaker 1: lost her engagement rings. You guys see, Yeah, as she
- 31:21Speaker 1: was leaving the Golden Globe. She was there Golden Globes
- 31:24Speaker 1: on Sunday. The ceremony was when she discovered. I think
- 31:27Speaker 1: she was clapping or waving to someone and the ring
- 31:30Speaker 1: fell off her finger, and uh, she said, oh my god,
- 31:36Speaker 1: oh my god. No one moved, no one moved hauled
- 31:39Speaker 1: up my ring. My ring got millionaires. They're not. He
- 31:45Speaker 1: was desperately searching the ground when Terry crews, we love

- 32:03Speaker 1: I do anything for her. So that was great. Terry
- 32:05Speaker 1: always yeah, leg he really is. That's cool. I had
- 32:11Speaker 1: his chest. I have my shirt off right now looking
- 32:14Speaker 1: for the rain. Damn that ring. I have people looking
- 32:18Speaker 1: at working your working your pack. You see these pecks
- 32:22Speaker 1: jumping like this button. That kid can't make his chest

- 32:35Speaker 1: He's the host of h I have to be doing
- 32:40Speaker 1: jumping jack. Okay. See you got to help him out
- 32:46Speaker 1: a little bit. Some momentum. How's the vegan thing working
- 32:51Speaker 1: for you? Speaking of that steve um, you know it
- 32:54Speaker 1: has to happen, so you know it's great. Is the
- 32:57Speaker 1: plant based You're you're doing all plant plant um. I
- 33:04Speaker 1: juice into a twelve news vegetable juice, juice and fruit
- 33:09Speaker 1: into twelve news. Is that a lot of going to
- 33:11Speaker 1: the bathroom, put a lot of juice, and you got peak. Yeah,
- 33:15Speaker 1: don't just sit there. I have a friend that is
- 33:18Speaker 1: a vegan. Potato chips all day. Ain't that fat count?
- 33:25Speaker 1: But I mean, because it's no animal products or whatever,
- 33:29Speaker 1: she thinks she's a vegan. I mean, you can be
- 33:31Speaker 1: a vegan not being nothing. Let me explain something to you.
- 33:35Speaker 1: You can be a very very unhealthy y. Yeah, yeah

- 33:47Speaker 1: yes you can, ladies and gentlemen, miss and Tripp, thank
- 33:53Speaker 1: you very much. And yes, you eat a lot of bread.
- 33:54Speaker 1: You can be a fat vegan. This is a trip
- 33:56Speaker 1: with the news. President Trump addressed the nation last night
- 34:00Speaker 1: as Washington's bipartisan standoff continues over funding for his campaign
- 34:04Speaker 1: promised board wall. He stressed the need for the billion
- 34:07Speaker 1: dollar wall across the southern border. He claims the issue
- 34:10Speaker 1: is safety. In the last two years, ice officers made
- 34:14Speaker 1: two hundred and sixty six thousand arrests of aliens with
- 34:17Speaker 1: criminal record, including those charged or convicted of one hundred
- 34:22Speaker 1: thousand assaults, thirty thousand sex crimes, and four thousand violent killings,
- 34:29Speaker 1: and the President blamed the Democrats for not green lighting
- 34:32Speaker 1: his five billion dollar board wall. However, Housepeaker Nancy Pelosi
- 34:35Speaker 1: says the President has his facts wrong again. The fact is,
- 34:38Speaker 1: on the very first day of this Congress, House Democrats
- 34:41Speaker 1: pass Senate Republican legislation to reopen government and fund smart,
- 34:46Speaker 1: effective border security solutions, but the President is rejecting these
- 34:50Speaker 1: bipartisan bills over his obsession with forcing American taxpayers to
- 34:54Speaker 1: waste billions of dollars on an expensive and ineffective wall,
- 34:58Speaker 1: a wall he always Mexico would pay for her and
- 35:02Speaker 1: Senate Democratic Leader Charles Schumer says the President can reopen
- 35:05Speaker 1: the government and allow both parties to hash out the
- 35:08Speaker 1: border issue separately. The President has called Congressional leaders to
- 35:11Speaker 1: the White House later today, and Atlanta prosecutor says she's
- 35:15Speaker 1: interested in prosecuting r. Kelly if some of his victims
- 35:18Speaker 1: contact her. Researchers say that cancer deaths are on the
- 35:21Speaker 1: decline in the US acco into the American Cancer Society,
- 35:24Speaker 1: US cancer death have been on the down swing for
- 35:26Speaker 1: the last twenty five years, driven largely, they say, by
- 35:30Speaker 1: the drop in cigarette smoking. Death from lung cancer have
- 35:33Speaker 1: dropped by forty eight percent among men twenty three percent
- 35:36Speaker 1: among women, and since nineteen ninety and early, early detection
- 35:39Speaker 1: and treatment of other cancers like breast cancer, prostate, and
- 35:42Speaker 1: colon have also contributed to the decline in death there.
- 35:46Speaker 1: Cancer remains the nation's second most common cause of death, However,
- 35:50Speaker 1: heart disease is number one. Dog lovers praising this move.
- 35:54Speaker 1: The chief of Jackson, Mississippi Police Department currently checking on
- 35:57Speaker 1: the whereabouts of all his departments former police dogs after
- 36:00Speaker 1: finding out that one of them, named Ringo, was retired
- 36:03Speaker 1: and his handler for nine years simply dropped the dog
- 36:06Speaker 1: off and an annual an animal shelter instead of taking
- 36:09Speaker 1: him home with him that's worked with the dog for
- 36:11Speaker 1: nine years. Luckily, the man who trained Ringo was tipped
- 36:14Speaker 1: off about the situation, found the dog and adopted him out. Meanwhile,
- 36:18Speaker 1: the detective that callously left his K nine partner in
- 36:21Speaker 1: a shelter has been demoted to patrolment. Get this Police
- 36:25Speaker 1: and Selena's, California looking for a man scene on surveillance
- 36:27Speaker 1: tape licking a doorbell for three hours. Cops have identified
- 36:31Speaker 1: the door liquor as Roberto Dannie Arroyo. When they say
- 36:34Speaker 1: could face misdemeanor charges of petty theft prowling. The family
- 36:37Speaker 1: who owns the house say they don't know the guy,
- 36:39Speaker 1: but they made you to clean off their doorbell. And
- 36:41Speaker 1: today is reading the newspaper in the toilet day. I
- 36:46Speaker 1: don't think so. I'm not pulling your finger either. Now
- 36:48Speaker 1: back to the Steve Harvey Mourning Show you're listening to show. Well,
- 36:55Speaker 1: last night, guys, the President took his plea for the
- 36:58Speaker 1: border wall to Prime time. After his speech, Democratic leaders
- 37:02Speaker 1: Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer gave a rebuttal to the
- 37:06Speaker 1: President's speech. We talked about this last hour, and it's
- 37:10Speaker 1: just really the government shut down and his selfish, the
- 37:13Speaker 1: president's selfish ways of what he's doing, holding the government
- 37:17Speaker 1: in American people hostage. Yeah, for this wall. You know,
- 37:22Speaker 1: it's just like, oh, see what he's done is I
- 37:26Speaker 1: don't care how to Republicans frame this. I'm just going
- 37:31Speaker 1: First of all, the campaign promise was there, bill wall
- 37:34Speaker 1: and Mexico's gonna pay for right absolutely. Now it's completely
- 37:39Speaker 1: turned till I'm shutting down the government until I get
- 37:42Speaker 1: five point six billion for the wall from the Democrats.
- 37:46Speaker 1: Listen to me, that's a campaign promise that you made
- 37:49Speaker 1: to your base. Not every Republican wants a wall. I
- 37:52Speaker 1: got that, nobody's saying that. But you want to keep
- 37:56Speaker 1: this promise for the base. And now you got to
- 37:58Speaker 1: make the entire government pay for five point six so
- 38:02Speaker 1: you can make your promise to not the majority of Americans. Ye, well,
- 38:07Speaker 1: that ain't high his work. And you shut the government down,
- 38:10Speaker 1: and you even said I'll shut the government down, I'll
- 38:14Speaker 1: own it. Well, see own it. Yeah, that's not what
- 38:19Speaker 1: he's gonna do it. And now he's talking about I
- 38:22Speaker 1: want Congress to pass a bill that we can get
- 38:26Speaker 1: this government back open and get this border security. Man.
- 38:32Speaker 1: This guy, this is the worst president we've ever had.
- 38:37Speaker 1: But aren't those two different things though, sort of border
- 38:40Speaker 1: security and the wallah, I mean, yeah, they're just different things. Yeah,
- 38:45Speaker 1: because there are people saying there's ways to secure it
- 38:48Speaker 1: without the wall, right that they think are better ways
- 38:52Speaker 1: to do it. But no country has a wall up
- 38:58Speaker 1: to a neighboring ally country. Mexico is an ally or
- 39:04Speaker 1: friendly nation to the United States. Here's the truth of
- 39:09Speaker 1: the matter. The majority of drugs do not come in
- 39:13Speaker 1: off the southern border. The majority of drugs coming to
- 39:16Speaker 1: this country through legal ports. We're not according to the President,
- 39:22Speaker 1: but he's he ran these facts off about how many
- 39:25Speaker 1: legal drugs, but they come through legal ports. They come
- 39:32Speaker 1: through legal ports. The majority of drugs are not coming
- 39:34Speaker 1: from Mexico. That's the part he won't tell the truth about.
- 39:38Speaker 1: That's the truth che him on that last night they
- 39:43Speaker 1: did I don't know, and the Republicans act like he
- 39:47Speaker 1: ain't lying at all. You ain't got to lie, Craig
- 39:55Speaker 1: every time. Donald Goblin, don't even move all right. Coming
- 40:00Speaker 1: up at thirty four after the hour, guys, officials in
- 40:03Speaker 1: Georgia and Chicago will start This is great news. They're
- 40:07Speaker 1: gonna start a new criminal investigation against R Kelly. We'll
- 40:11Speaker 1: talk about it right after this. I believe I'm in trouble.
- 40:17Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Officials in
- 40:21Speaker 1: Georgia have started a new criminal investigation. This is a
- 40:26Speaker 1: new criminal investigation to get to the bottom of the
- 40:29Speaker 1: allegations against R. Kelly. TMZ is reporting that the Fulton
- 40:33Speaker 1: County District Attorney's Office will look into claims made against R.
- 40:38Speaker 1: Kelly in the Surviving R Kelly docu series that we
- 40:41Speaker 1: all saw over the weekend. Investigators have been reaching out
- 40:46Speaker 1: to several survivors featuring the lifetime docu series, including a
- 40:50Speaker 1: Santi McGee that was the older Lady, Young Lady. She
- 40:53Speaker 1: was thirty five, I believe. Yeah. Anyway, she said that
- 40:56Speaker 1: she escaped r Kelly's home and made headlines this week
- 41:00Speaker 1: when she called for r Kelly to take a lie
- 41:02Speaker 1: detector test live on TV because he's denying yea everything.
- 41:08Speaker 1: Also in Chicago, Cook County, the State Attorney Kim Fox
- 41:13Speaker 1: has urged victims to come forward. The state Attorney's office
- 41:16Speaker 1: has not launched a formal investigation, but Fox definitely sounds
- 41:21Speaker 1: like she will if victims come forward. So we need
- 41:24Speaker 1: the victims to come forward. In that case, Listen to me, Um,
- 41:29Speaker 1: you know there's no way that that That just goes
- 41:35Speaker 1: to show you the extent of how unknown and the
- 41:40Speaker 1: depth of the problem, because anybody who sees that knows
- 41:46Speaker 1: that there's gonna be some ramifications behind this. This is
- 41:50Speaker 1: still the United States of America. You mean see the
- 41:53Speaker 1: docuseries and say we'll wait a minute investment. I mean
- 41:57Speaker 1: even after watching it, Yeah, I did. No everybody I
- 42:01Speaker 1: know that saw this shock ain't nobody said I wasn't
- 42:03Speaker 1: supplied by none of that. If you did, you lying,
- 42:07Speaker 1: Because if you knew all that and didn't say nothing,
- 42:09Speaker 1: there's something wrong with you. Exact long with everybody that
- 42:12Speaker 1: was sitting there in compliance with it, because I was
- 42:14Speaker 1: getting more and more ticked off with them dudes in
- 42:16Speaker 1: the shadows. Now, oh yeah, they was in that room
- 42:20Speaker 1: personal assistance. Hey, dog, if you knew these young girls
- 42:23Speaker 1: was in this room, how y'all you ain't say nothing
- 42:25Speaker 1: and you were facilitating? Dog, quit your decency as a man. Dog,
- 42:29Speaker 1: I got problems with parents. Dog, you know your daughter
- 42:32Speaker 1: over there that bothers me. Man, I'm telling you, Tommy,
- 42:36Speaker 1: I don't know who these fathers is. I'm not that
- 42:39Speaker 1: daughter over there. I'm I'm I'm I'm the lead story
- 42:43Speaker 1: on the news. I'm telling you, Yeah, it's nothing bigger
- 42:46Speaker 1: than me at five six, I'm breaking news. We interrupt
- 42:59Speaker 1: this regularly scaled your program that we're interrupting sixty minute.
- 43:07Speaker 1: They don't only interrupt sixty folk Steve Harvey inside the home. Oh,
- 43:13Speaker 1: we hearing far in one room, shot out of here,
- 43:20Speaker 1: sound like somebody getting strap hook in another room. We
- 43:24Speaker 1: don't know what the hell going on here, he got
- 43:27Speaker 1: all the doors bare, Katie and somebody trying to say, yeah, yeah,
- 43:32Speaker 1: we can't get in. So I do want to get
- 43:37Speaker 1: this out. State attorney Kim Fox by the way, she
- 43:40Speaker 1: was a victim of sexual abuse herself, and her name
- 43:43Speaker 1: is She's from Cook County, from the Chicago area, Steve.
- 43:47Speaker 1: Her name is Kim Fox. She's a state attorney there
- 43:50Speaker 1: in Chicago, in the Cook County area. She wants anyone
- 43:53Speaker 1: with any information concerning our Kelly and the sex cult

- 44:01Speaker 1: her office at I'll give you the number seven seven
- 44:04Speaker 1: three six seven four six four nine two seven seven
- 44:09Speaker 1: three six seven four six four nine two. Okay, Officials
- 44:14Speaker 1: in Georgia, like I said, I've already started a new
- 44:17Speaker 1: criminal investigation. They want to get to the bottom of it. Now.
- 44:20Speaker 1: This state attorney in Chicago wants to do the same.
- 44:23Speaker 1: If you have any information seven seven three six seven
- 44:27Speaker 1: four six four nine two And again R. Kelly is
- 44:30Speaker 1: denying everything the end, still walking around a free man.
- 44:35Speaker 1: Good investigation. You know what, he can walk around. Three
- 44:40Speaker 1: he got no charges right now, ain't nobody bought no case.
- 44:45Speaker 1: He can walk around. I'm struggling I'm I'm really stunned
- 44:53Speaker 1: at the depth of this series. Man. I just didn't
- 44:57Speaker 1: know it was like this. Yeah, and he I cannot
- 45:00Speaker 1: think nothing's going to happen that can't happen. Investigate you
- 45:05Speaker 1: right now, two states right, that's right, um, all right?
- 45:09Speaker 1: Coming up next, it is a nephew with the prank
- 45:11Speaker 1: phone call right after this you're listening to show Coming
- 45:17Speaker 1: up at the top of the hour, guys, right about
- 45:19Speaker 1: four minutes after, it's my strawberry letter forward today. The
- 45:22Speaker 1: subject is you ever heard of an old fool? That
- 45:27Speaker 1: is the subject you ever heard of an old fool?
- 45:31Speaker 1: But right now the nephew's here. I don't know. I
- 45:36Speaker 1: don't mean for those two to go together right there
- 45:38Speaker 1: right now. I didn't. I didn't. It just happened like
- 45:41Speaker 1: that right now. The nephew's here with a prank phone.
- 45:48Speaker 1: Is that a hot in the half tonight? Okay? The
- 45:54Speaker 1: name of a hawk of a problem? This sounds ain't
- 46:03Speaker 1: ready for this. Let's come, yeah, come on, boy, second
- 46:08Speaker 1: to laugh and I've loved five heart beat? Yeah, let
- 46:15Speaker 1: him you got a ball? Say what I don't understand
- 46:28Speaker 1: how I feel? Give me that hard part? Is that hard?
- 46:32Speaker 1: That Zara hard in the house tonight trying. You're not
- 46:40Speaker 1: gonna outstanding. She can't. But I didn't do this. My
- 46:48Speaker 1: mic was like that heart of a brother running can't. Hello, Hey,
- 46:55Speaker 1: I'm trying to reach Alan. Listen Alan, Alan? How you doing? Man?
- 47:00Speaker 1: My name is Bobby, Bobby. Uh? What what can I
- 47:03Speaker 1: do for you? I got your number, man, from the
- 47:06Speaker 1: from the hospital. Did you just um? Within the last
- 47:10Speaker 1: I guess three four months? Did you get a heart transplant?
- 47:15Speaker 1: But the months ago? Yeah? I did? I did three
- 47:17Speaker 1: and a half months ago. Okay, how you can feeling? Man?
- 47:22Speaker 1: Actually good? I'm actually up and around faster than I
- 47:24Speaker 1: thought it was gonna be, you know. So I'm doing well.
- 47:27Speaker 1: Thank you? Are you with? Are you? Are you with
- 47:31Speaker 1: the hospital? No? No, I'm not um. Actually, you know
- 47:35Speaker 1: they gave me your number. Man. I hope you okay
- 47:37Speaker 1: with but you you you actually? Uh? The heart that
- 47:41Speaker 1: you got was from from my brother try Oh my god?
- 47:47Speaker 1: Really yeah that was my brother. Oh I'm so sorry
- 47:52Speaker 1: about your brother. But wow, I gotta tell you he
- 47:54Speaker 1: saved my life man. Yeah yeah, yeah, so so I
- 47:59Speaker 1: you know, I just want to call you man. I
- 48:01Speaker 1: hope you don't mind, you know, no, no, not at all. No,
- 48:05Speaker 1: it's kind of like a little bit of my brothers.
- 48:07Speaker 1: It's still living, you know what I mean, it kind
- 48:09Speaker 1: of it kind of feels like my brother's still living.
- 48:11Speaker 1: So that's a good thing. It's a good thing that glad.
- 48:14Speaker 1: Thank you. Yeah. Yeah. Let me ask you this, man,
- 48:18Speaker 1: I'm just curious because your Caucasian, right yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 48:23Speaker 1: I'm like, yeah, do you feel any any different having
- 48:27Speaker 1: a black man's heart and your body? But no, no,
- 48:31Speaker 1: I don't feel any difference. Uh No. I didn't really
- 48:36Speaker 1: think about it though. And this this will just make
- 48:38Speaker 1: me and the rest of the family feel good that
- 48:40Speaker 1: we knew what he was dedicated to and the things
- 48:43Speaker 1: that matter matter to him. Would you feel all right
- 48:47Speaker 1: join in the naacp uh? Is that are there? Some
- 48:52Speaker 1: people are gonna be upset that I joined. I mean
- 48:54Speaker 1: it's that okay. Well, you know, I don't know about
- 48:57Speaker 1: about being upset, man, It's just I know my brother
- 49:00Speaker 1: that that's what he was a part of, and you know,
- 49:03Speaker 1: you you're walking around with his heart. Man, it would
- 49:06Speaker 1: just feel different, feel great, you know, to have to
- 49:09Speaker 1: feel like he would be back in there doing what
- 49:11Speaker 1: he was doing and fighting for for injustice for the
- 49:15Speaker 1: black community. Now you were Democratic or Republican? Well, you know,
- 49:20Speaker 1: I mean honestly that I was Republican until Trump. And
- 49:23Speaker 1: now I'm just really I'm kind of on the science.
- 49:27Speaker 1: I mean, that guy's Indio. You did vote for Trump.
- 49:30Speaker 1: I did not, But I am a Republican, Okay. So
- 49:33Speaker 1: and the reason why, you know, because I'm just curious
- 49:35Speaker 1: man about it. What I what I would hate to
- 49:37Speaker 1: see is you know, when twenty twenty come around, you know,
- 49:41Speaker 1: you you over there in the voting booth, you know,
- 49:43Speaker 1: with my brother black Heart and you and there, you know,
- 49:46Speaker 1: voting Republican. Uh, you know, and and and that's something
- 49:50Speaker 1: that I know my brother wouldn't be doing, you know
- 49:52Speaker 1: what I'm saying. So I'm just I'm just asking, well,
- 49:55Speaker 1: I mean, I'm not happy with Trump, but if someone
- 49:57Speaker 1: else in the Republican party runs and I agree with them,
- 50:00Speaker 1: I'm it's kind of like it's my heart. Now I
- 50:03Speaker 1: can't change my point of view just because of that.
- 50:06Speaker 1: I mean, yeah, but but but but what you're not
- 50:10Speaker 1: gonna do, though, man, is be in there with my
- 50:12Speaker 1: brother black Heart, and you up in there making some
- 50:15Speaker 1: decisions that I know my brother wouldn't. Do you see
- 50:18Speaker 1: what I'm saying. That's a long way off, man, But
- 50:20Speaker 1: I can't promise you that. I mean, if somebody runs
- 50:22Speaker 1: that I like, I mean, I'm gonna vote the way
- 50:24Speaker 1: I feel my heart and my head tell me theoud one.
- 50:29Speaker 1: Don't don't say what my heart because that ain't your heart.
- 50:32Speaker 1: You understand that my brother hard So you got every
- 50:35Speaker 1: right to ask me what you think my brother would
- 50:38Speaker 1: feel in his heart. And I tell you you understand
- 50:41Speaker 1: what I'm saying. I don't like the way I feel. Man,
- 50:45Speaker 1: Let me ask something. Have you have you been like
- 50:47Speaker 1: craving different kinds of foods that you don't need? Have
- 50:50Speaker 1: you been looking at I don't know. I mean, girl
- 50:52Speaker 1: like greens? Like my brother ate a lot of greens.
- 50:54Speaker 1: Did you do you feel like you've wounds and greens? Sometimes?
- 50:57Speaker 1: I like greens occasionally. Yeah, okay, man, have all of
- 51:01Speaker 1: a sudden, do you like women who have big butts?
- 51:05Speaker 1: All of women in general? I didn't think about specifics,
- 51:08Speaker 1: but you know, if they're good looking, they're good looking.
- 51:10Speaker 1: Well wait, wait a minute, what kind of call is this? Man?
- 51:13Speaker 1: I mean, you're asking me all these random questions. Why
- 51:17Speaker 1: what I don't understand where it was coming from. Is
- 51:19Speaker 1: coming from my brother's hawk. That's where it's coming from.
- 51:23Speaker 1: You got my brother black heart inside of you, you know. Yeah,
- 51:26Speaker 1: I'm asking you. I'm asking you to do what my
- 51:29Speaker 1: brother would do, not what you would do. You want
- 51:32Speaker 1: to do it from your heart? You then you're doing
- 51:34Speaker 1: it from my brother's heart. When you first called me
- 51:36Speaker 1: about your brother, I was excited. Now I'm saying, how
- 51:38Speaker 1: much did the hospital give you? Just this number? And
- 51:41Speaker 1: you get to call me up? That's privilege information. You
- 51:43Speaker 1: shouldn't get to just call me and ask me all
- 51:46Speaker 1: these random questions. Man, I just got a hearts plan.
- 51:49Speaker 1: Now you're starting to get me worked up. If I'm
- 51:51Speaker 1: not trying to get you worked up, all I'm trying
- 51:53Speaker 1: to man, Okay, okay, well let me let me just
- 51:55Speaker 1: come up. All I know is you got try and
- 51:58Speaker 1: inside of you, and I'm trying to you know the
- 52:00Speaker 1: kind of person try appeals. Okay, So let me let
- 52:03Speaker 1: me this. Has your music change? Are you listening to
- 52:06Speaker 1: more art and B? Now? I feel like R and B,
- 52:09Speaker 1: but I listen to a hard rock tale that hasn't changed,
- 52:11Speaker 1: Because what's in truth hard gonna stage in Troy Hard.
- 52:15Speaker 1: Do you understand? So you got to have that's in
- 52:17Speaker 1: your heart? Now? Greens did butts in a CP. That's
- 52:22Speaker 1: what I'm saying. Okay, I'm trying to tell you about
- 52:25Speaker 1: try What are you crying now? I'm trying to tell
- 52:30Speaker 1: you my choice. Hey, hey, hey, I'm sorry. I'm sorry.
- 52:33Speaker 1: Don't I know you mess your brother, don't damn, I'm sorry. Okay,
- 52:38Speaker 1: let me let me say this saying, Okay, since you
- 52:42Speaker 1: got my brother hard, I think it's only right to
- 52:45Speaker 1: me and you we get together and go to go
- 52:48Speaker 1: to a jay Z cars, Sir, together. I think that's
- 52:50Speaker 1: the only right jay Z and be honest acause, sir,
- 52:54Speaker 1: we go together because that's what me and my brother did.
- 52:56Speaker 1: We we will go see them perform. Well, I mean,
- 52:59Speaker 1: they ain't hard to the that's of all time. So
- 53:01Speaker 1: am I buying both the tickets? Oh? Yes, you got
- 53:05Speaker 1: trouble and you worry about who's gonna pay for some tickets.
- 53:09Speaker 1: I didn't know. I thought maybe you might want to
- 53:10Speaker 1: tweet your brother one last time. I'm sorry. I'm sorry man, Yeah, no, no, okay, listen,
- 53:17Speaker 1: I'm really I'm really sorry. I mean, I get upset.
- 53:19Speaker 1: I didn't mean the yell at you. I'm sorry. I'm
- 53:21Speaker 1: really sorry. Do you do you do you listen to
- 53:26Speaker 1: black radio? Sometimes? I do listen to black radio. You never.
- 53:30Speaker 1: This is is Steve Harvey More, this show boy. Yeah,
- 53:33Speaker 1: he's one of the best man I had to follow
- 53:35Speaker 1: when he was on Family. Dude. He trade what He's
- 53:37Speaker 1: got a nephew on the show and he does trade
- 53:41Speaker 1: phone calls. Yeah, and that would be me, Alan. This
- 53:48Speaker 1: is nephew, Tommy, baby, Steve Harvey More, the show man out.
- 53:53Speaker 1: Are you serious? Are you kidding me? I'm not kidding back.

- 54:06Speaker 1: your wife Robbing and her co worker Bridget Pottner. You
- 54:09Speaker 1: gotta tell me us what is the baddest and I
- 54:12Speaker 1: mean the baddest radio show in the land. It's your show, baby,
- 54:16Speaker 1: Steve Harvey. Come on, man, Okay, I was good. That
- 54:24Speaker 1: was good? All right, Well, thank you, nephew. That was

- 55:00Speaker 1: get it. Bug it up, Hold on tight, We got
- 55:02Speaker 1: it for you. Here it is Strawberry Letter. Subject you
- 55:06Speaker 1: ever heard of an old fool? Dear Stephen Shirley, do
- 55:11Speaker 1: you think that dating rules for seniors are different than
- 55:14Speaker 1: those for younger people. I need to know because I'm
- 55:18Speaker 1: trying to find love again and I'm over sixty. I'd
- 55:22Speaker 1: like to think that a man in age sixty five
- 55:24Speaker 1: to seventy would think and act differently than he did
- 55:27Speaker 1: when he was twenty five to thirty years old. But
- 55:29Speaker 1: that's not the case. When I meet men my age,
- 55:32Speaker 1: they are still interested in the cookie, and I need
- 55:35Speaker 1: to know if I should still be using the ninety
- 55:37Speaker 1: day rule at my age. Then there are other men,
- 55:42Speaker 1: the other men that I meet, and they voluntarily tell
- 55:45Speaker 1: me that the cookie is a non issue for them.
- 55:47Speaker 1: Now I'm still a bit frisky, so I don't date
- 55:51Speaker 1: men that I don't date a man that doesn't want
- 55:55Speaker 1: the cookie anymore. Okay, Steve, I wish you would talk
- 55:58Speaker 1: more about this subject because I have a lot of
- 56:00Speaker 1: single friends that are on the dating scene again. My
- 56:03Speaker 1: big problem is I recently met a seventy year old
- 56:07Speaker 1: man that I adore, and he always tells me that
- 56:11Speaker 1: I'm very attractive and youthful looking for my age. He's smart, funny,
- 56:15Speaker 1: and nerdy, and I love spending time with him. I
- 56:18Speaker 1: thought he was into me too, but I keep getting
- 56:21Speaker 1: mixed signals from him. He says he wants to be
- 56:23Speaker 1: in a relationship, but his actions don't match his words.
- 56:27Speaker 1: I'm not willing to wait forever for him to commit
- 56:29Speaker 1: to me. Excuse me. I was shocked to find out
- 56:33Speaker 1: that men don't change as they get older. Or am
- 56:36Speaker 1: I wrong and I just picked a bad one. He'd
- 56:38Speaker 1: be a fool to lose me. Can you please give
- 56:41Speaker 1: me some tips on how to keep the magic going
- 56:43Speaker 1: with this man so he won't lose interest. I need
- 56:46Speaker 1: some help with my love life. I have to apologize
- 56:50Speaker 1: for my voice for these last three days. I'm struggling
- 56:56Speaker 1: me all right, Yeah, I know, Tennessee XS Tokyo. I
- 57:01Speaker 1: know that's inside. All right, here we go, you know,
- 57:05Speaker 1: don't start, Steve, don't start. Oh, I know, all right,
- 57:12Speaker 1: here we go. You know. Um, I was gonna say
- 57:15Speaker 1: this to you, Steve. A lot of people, especially women,
- 57:17Speaker 1: ask me to ask you to hook them up. They
- 57:20Speaker 1: ask me this all the time when we have events
- 57:23Speaker 1: and stuff and we go out there. Always ask me, Sureley,
- 57:26Speaker 1: why doesn't Steve have a segment where older women are
- 57:29Speaker 1: older guys, you know we can hook up. So I'm
- 57:31Speaker 1: really not surprised that this letter got through because there
- 57:34Speaker 1: is you know, I've seen a firsthand, there is a void.
- 57:37Speaker 1: I guess, uh and uh in this age group. I say,
- 57:41Speaker 1: maybe some things change, but um, not all the things
- 57:44Speaker 1: the dating rules I'm talking about for um, for seniors,
- 57:49Speaker 1: um than young people. I think older people know more
- 57:53Speaker 1: of what they want. They know, they're more comfortable and
- 57:56Speaker 1: confident with who they are, so um, they can weed
- 57:59Speaker 1: out the bad people quicker, and they can get involved quicker.
- 58:04Speaker 1: So when you say you need to know because you're
- 58:07Speaker 1: trying to find love again at age sixty, I think
- 58:10Speaker 1: in this case, you know, maybe not the ninety day rule,
- 58:14Speaker 1: but rules definitely do apply. And a ninety day rule
- 58:17Speaker 1: can apply to because it still applies in other things
- 58:20Speaker 1: in life. You know, that's what Steve based it on.
- 58:23Speaker 1: The three month probation period. So you don't have to
- 58:26Speaker 1: just jump into bed just because you're older. You know,
- 58:29Speaker 1: take your time to get to know the individual. You're
- 58:33Speaker 1: with someone who's seventy years old now, and you say
- 58:38Speaker 1: you adore this man, and he's always telling you he's attractive,
- 58:40Speaker 1: he's smart and funny and everything. What are these mixed
- 58:43Speaker 1: signals you're getting from him? You didn't elaborate on that.
- 58:47Speaker 1: He says he says he wants to be in a relationship,
- 58:49Speaker 1: but his actions don't match his words. So if he
- 58:53Speaker 1: wants to be in a relationship, why aren't you guys
- 58:55Speaker 1: in a relationship? Why aren't you in a relationship? If
- 58:59Speaker 1: that's what you want. You said you were you were
- 59:01Speaker 1: shocked to find out that men don't change as they
- 59:03Speaker 1: get older. Did you mean that you're trying to change
- 59:08Speaker 1: him and he won't change, because we all know, and
- 59:10Speaker 1: you're old enough to know that we can't change anyone.
- 59:13Speaker 1: So did you just pick a bad one? No, he
- 59:16Speaker 1: may not be a bad pick, but you didn't give
- 59:19Speaker 1: us enough information to find out what's going on here. Uh,
- 59:23Speaker 1: you know, except that he's giving you mixed signals. He'd
- 59:26Speaker 1: be a fool to lose you. So that means, in
- 59:28Speaker 1: your opinion, you're a good catch. I think maybe you
- 59:31Speaker 1: should hang in there, get to know this guy a
- 59:32Speaker 1: little better, and you never know where this relationship can go. Steve, anytime,
- 59:39Speaker 1: y'all ready for me to just get to the bottom line?
- 59:43Speaker 1: Stop me in this letter, okay, and ask you that. Yeah,
- 59:47Speaker 1: just Steve, can you get to the bottom, to the
- 59:48Speaker 1: bottom line. Oh, here's this woman who's sixty and would
- 59:54Speaker 1: like to think that a man aged between sixty five
- 59:57Speaker 1: and seventy would act differently than he does us when
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: he's twenty five to thirty years old. But that's not
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: the case. So the question in the letter is the
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: lady asked me, is do I have to adhere to
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: the ninety day rule at my age? Well? If you
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: don't it here, why would you not adhere to the rule.
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: Simply because you're older doesn't mean you shouldn't apply the rules.
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: Because of these men that you keep meeting and acting
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: like twenty five thirty years old, you gotta treat him
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: that way, and you gotta protect yourself that way. This
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: is a real simple letter. Anybody ready, Yeah, Steve, get
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: to the bottom line, baby, get to the bottom line here.
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: It is right here. The lady says, I recently met
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: a seventy year old man that I adore. He always
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: tells me that I'm very attractive and you full looking
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: for my age. He's smart, funny, and nerdy. I love
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: spending time with him. I thought he was into me too,
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: but I keep getting mixed signals from him. He says
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: he wants to be in a relationship, but his actions
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: don't match his words. You're ready for it. I'm not
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: willing to wait forever for him to commit to me.
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: He's saved me. Come on with the bottom line. You
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: ain't willing to wait. How long he got? That's what
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: you need to know. He's seventy, He's not dead. But
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: how long he got? He's seventy, like he could be
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: give it could be twenty more. Well what he wait? Now?
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: You ain't got but twenty left? Commit You're scared of commitment? Boy?
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: You got to him. Get somebody gonna help flip you
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: over wash you. He's seventy. Yeah, you're not gonna wait
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: on her family. You ain't gonna have to be seventy
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: if anybody needs to be in a hairy here's air,
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: all right, everything, hang on, we'll recap and get back
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: to part two of your response, coming up at twenty
- 1:02:23Speaker 1: three after the hour, right after this subject today you
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: ever heard of an old fool? Coming back? Part two
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: right after this you're listening show, All right, Steve, come on,
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: let's recap today's strawberry letter. Get part two of your recap,
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: real simple. This woman trying to get this man the
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: seventy to act right, that's the recap. She's sixty. I'm
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: gonna read it to you. One more two. Okay, recently
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: met a seventy year old man. I do him. He
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: always tells me that I'm very attractive and you for
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: looking for my age. He is smart, funny, and nerdy,
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: and I love spending time. I thought he was into
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: me too, but I keep getting mixed signals from it.
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: He says he wants to be in a relationship, but
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: his actions don't match his word. I'm not willing to
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: wait forever for him to commit to me. You ain't
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: gonna have to When you say seventy forever is not
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: alone once you. Seventy forever could mean any day now.
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: Seventy forever could mean twenty years. Yeah, yeah, it can
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: mean thirty years. But that ain't forever though, that'll be
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: here a little while. I don't know if you've noticed it,
- 1:03:49Speaker 1: but as you get older, the years go by so
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: much fast. Two eighteen was a blurner. Here he is
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: into two thousand and nine team now and you know
- 1:04:02Speaker 1: what two thousand nineteen gonna blow by? Two? Now? He
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: holds it in all of us. He's seventy. How fast
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: you think his life more? Because everybody said that about
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: twenty and eighteen. I ain't man, I don't care how
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: unless you want an inmate. Two thousand eighteen blew by now.
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: Inmates ain't nothing blowing by for them. I understand that.
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: I ain't lessing within him a field for all the
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: brothers and sisters. It's locked away that can hear the show.
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: God bless you. Keep your head up, makes up match yourself.
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: Now back to this letter. He's seventy. What is he
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: waiting though? If he ain't in a hurry at seventy,
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: you're just dealing with a slow man. Okay, you sixty?
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: I'm seventy. You're looking for a relationship. I ain't really
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: feeling it. Here's some of the answers. Argue, just ask
- 1:04:56Speaker 1: me some relationship or commitment questions, anything, It don't matter. Well,
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: where do you think we're going with this relationship? Well,
- 1:05:03Speaker 1: we're going ahead to get down to the doctor's off.
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: We don't get down there full thirty. I don't get
- 1:05:12Speaker 1: back up and ain't gonna get no appointment. Well, listen,
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: you know I'd like to go out dancing and stuff.
- 1:05:17Speaker 1: You told me I was cute, and you know I
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: was really youthful looking for my age. So you know
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: I like to stay young at hard and go dancing.
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: But I'm not you youthful looking for your age. I
- 1:05:31Speaker 1: look a bit of ship. A matter of fact, I've
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: never been told I don't look my people haven't always
- 1:05:38Speaker 1: thought I was in my nineties. But when we first met,
- 1:05:42Speaker 1: you looked good. I thought you were healthy and an
- 1:05:44Speaker 1: attractive Yeah. I know, off real fast, though, did not.
- 1:05:49Speaker 1: I just fell off. I'm hanging there with you though,
- 1:05:53Speaker 1: I still like you. Well, I ain't got along well,
- 1:05:57Speaker 1: I mean, you're just seventy though. Yeah, But I just
- 1:05:59Speaker 1: told yeah, I went to the doctors. Yeah, yeah, I
- 1:06:03Speaker 1: got fourteen chronic either. Yeah. Is that what all those
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: pills on your nightstand? In your medicine cabinet, I saw
- 1:06:13Speaker 1: six of them is for gout and two of them
- 1:06:17Speaker 1: a jet for breathing. Let's see if we got married,
- 1:06:20Speaker 1: and stuff I could cook for you, you know, make
- 1:06:22Speaker 1: you healthy meals and things. I can't eat that can
- 1:06:26Speaker 1: of food, healthy stuff like vegetables and and stuff like that. No,

- 1:06:46Speaker 1: What about hot sauce? When when the sodium on? Now?
- 1:06:50Speaker 1: Now unless you give me some of that jazz and
- 1:06:52Speaker 1: the brown hot, I can't really but then out of
- 1:06:58Speaker 1: that too, damn hot. Wow. Yeah, well I didn't think
- 1:07:02Speaker 1: you know, you were that ill and everything when I
- 1:07:04Speaker 1: saw Oh girl, you don't even know to have for me? Well,
- 1:07:07Speaker 1: well maybe you'll go to church with me? How about that?
- 1:07:09Speaker 1: And we can let the pass to pray over you?

- 1:19:09Speaker 1: told the guided owns on Louis Vitton, Moet and Hennessy,
- 1:19:15Speaker 1: all of them. They told him, Bernard Arnold, it's a
- 1:19:20Speaker 1: five year wait. He said, no, I want to be
- 1:19:23Speaker 1: moved to the front of the line. They said, it's
- 1:19:25Speaker 1: a five year away. He bought the shipyard. Oh, he
- 1:19:34Speaker 1: bought the shipyard and then made his boat number one. Okay,
- 1:19:39Speaker 1: Symphony hit the water last year. That's how you moved
- 1:19:43Speaker 1: to the front of the line. Yeah, I saw it.
- 1:19:45Speaker 1: I've actually been on it. I took a tour of
- 1:19:48Speaker 1: amazing and Jerry Jones was the first person to have
- 1:19:53Speaker 1: a chart of it. It's a bad boat right here.
- 1:19:57Speaker 1: It's a bad boat. All right? Can we move on now?
- 1:20:00Speaker 1: We're moving already? All right? Well, did you hear about
- 1:20:02Speaker 1: this one? Uh? There's a push to rename New York
- 1:20:06Speaker 1: City's fifth avenue. Uh. And that would put Trump Tower
- 1:20:10Speaker 1: on Obama Avenue that thousands and thousands of people are
- 1:20:17Speaker 1: signing a petition that would name a stretch of Fifth
- 1:20:20Speaker 1: Avenue right in front of Trump Tower after President Obama.
- 1:20:24Speaker 1: All right. More than twenty thousand people have signed the petition,
- 1:20:27Speaker 1: which calls on Mayor Deblasio to name the portion of
- 1:20:31Speaker 1: Fifth Avenue between fifty six and fifty seven streets and
- 1:20:35Speaker 1: honor of President Obama. The petition is sponsored by move
- 1:20:40Speaker 1: On one Block, oh Man. The petition is sponsored by
- 1:20:50Speaker 1: move on dot org, and organizers are hoping to get
- 1:20:53Speaker 1: thirty thousand signatures. I'm flying. Yeah, let's twenty five Obama
- 1:21:01Speaker 1: Avenue on town huh huh, yeah, thirty thousand signatures before
- 1:21:08Speaker 1: presenting it to the mayor and the city council. If
- 1:21:10Speaker 1: the name changes approved, that would make Trump Towers address
- 1:21:13Speaker 1: seven twenty five, like he said. And if you Barack H.
- 1:21:16Speaker 1: Obama sick, he would be sick. Hello, funny, I love
- 1:21:23Speaker 1: you think he's signing sick. Earlier when we read his
- 1:21:26Speaker 1: tape sound from yeah the border Wall speech, County, whoa,
- 1:21:32Speaker 1: I like it. I like that petition. Yeah, that would
- 1:21:35Speaker 1: be justice. Though he played well played. He was heading
- 1:21:38Speaker 1: the Birthday movement and all of that, you know, saying
- 1:21:40Speaker 1: that Obama wasn't from here and all of that. So
- 1:21:43Speaker 1: there you go. Now you live on Now you're on
- 1:21:45Speaker 1: Obama Avenue. So are you like me? Now? Yeah? And
- 1:21:50Speaker 1: he did all that then gonna say, oh yeah he
- 1:21:52Speaker 1: was born here. Yeah, yeah, God on one block though.
- 1:21:58Speaker 1: They would that for one block, thirty thousand, that's all
- 1:22:01Speaker 1: they need. It's a whole bunch of people in New
- 1:22:03Speaker 1: York City. Yeah, that's easy. Millions. They go to to
- 1:22:07Speaker 1: square and get it real quick, did y R? Why
- 1:22:15Speaker 1: don't you just sign this right there right and here? Yeah?
- 1:22:20Speaker 1: That is crazy. Yeah, what are you thinking, Steve? I
- 1:22:23Speaker 1: see you? No, I just that I hope to go
- 1:22:28Speaker 1: to y I do make money right right? Yeah, people
- 1:22:41Speaker 1: be out there to take a pitch. Yes, yes, it'd
- 1:22:45Speaker 1: be so many people to shoot up down it is.
- 1:22:49Speaker 1: That's a good idea. It really is good idea. I
- 1:22:53Speaker 1: like it. Yeah. People still talking about to his stated
- 1:22:56Speaker 1: in union non stated union that's coming up in a
- 1:22:58Speaker 1: few weeks. But that the Oval office address. Yeah, last night,
- 1:23:04Speaker 1: that was terrible. That was a time minute, just of
- 1:23:08Speaker 1: our time gone. We can't ever get that back. I know,
- 1:23:15Speaker 1: I'm going into the kitchen back and he was like, goodnight,
- 1:23:18Speaker 1: good you shut the government down, and you gave us
- 1:23:23Speaker 1: a nine minute speech. All right, we'll be back. Talk
- 1:23:27Speaker 1: about Jimmy Kimmel at twenty after. Right after this you're
- 1:23:32Speaker 1: listening to, Jimmy Kimmel is putting government employees effective by
- 1:23:38Speaker 1: the shutdown to work. Kimmel marked the seventeenth day of
- 1:23:42Speaker 1: the shutdown by inviting one of the nearly eight hundred
- 1:23:45Speaker 1: thousand federal workers that is, almost a million people of
- 1:23:49Speaker 1: the nearly eight hundred thousand federal workers affected by the
- 1:23:51Speaker 1: government shutdown to work on his show. I love that.
- 1:23:55Speaker 1: John Castelnik is a prison guard and union president. He's
- 1:24:01Speaker 1: not thrilled with being a pawn in the border wall fight.
- 1:24:04Speaker 1: He was given a tambourine and made part of the band.
- 1:24:07Speaker 1: Kimball will put a federal employee to work every day
- 1:24:11Speaker 1: until the shutdown ends. Thank you, Jimmy Kimmel. Yeah, that's cool.
- 1:24:15Speaker 1: I like that, very cool. That is awesome. Yeah, And
- 1:24:19Speaker 1: you know he's very outspoken about what's going on with
- 1:24:21Speaker 1: the president. Jimmy Kimmel. Yeah, he is. It's all about action. Yeah,
- 1:24:24Speaker 1: because of his son and everything. What do you what
- 1:24:26Speaker 1: do you think, Steve, Well, Yeah, I think it's slick.
- 1:24:30Speaker 1: You know, it's a great gesture. It draws attention to
- 1:24:33Speaker 1: a cause that needs to be addressed. You know, just
- 1:24:36Speaker 1: so many people at least one person gets an opportunity.
- 1:24:39Speaker 1: So it's just it's a cool but it's more of
- 1:24:41Speaker 1: a gesture than anything. And I think it's cool with
- 1:24:44Speaker 1: a gesture of support. Yeah, for the government workers, because
- 1:24:47Speaker 1: we do need them, you know. Well, and it's just
- 1:24:50Speaker 1: like the guy said, he's he's being a paw exactly. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:24:56Speaker 1: you're right, it's not cool. It's you don't realize how
- 1:24:58Speaker 1: many him and government working it is to something like
- 1:25:00Speaker 1: this happen. It's a lot. Yeah, absolutely a lot. Did
- 1:25:04Speaker 1: they say it is? It's eight hundred thousand jesus Yeah, wow,
- 1:25:08Speaker 1: that's almost a million million people. Yeah, I'm sure we
- 1:25:11Speaker 1: missing something of course. Yeah. You know, and what about
- 1:25:14Speaker 1: all the business owners who depend on the government workers
- 1:25:17Speaker 1: to support their business, you know in DC and stuff. Yeah,
- 1:25:21Speaker 1: you were telling me about that in DC area. Those
- 1:25:23Speaker 1: businesses are affected because these people can't support them. Yeah,
- 1:25:27Speaker 1: people who have restaurants and just whatever business it is.
- 1:25:31Speaker 1: This is terrible, but your leader has never done without,
- 1:25:34Speaker 1: so he doesn't care. He doesn't understand or going through
- 1:25:38Speaker 1: living paycheck to paycheck. He has no idea what that is.
- 1:25:43Speaker 1: Never flowing commercial. I don't know anything about going to
- 1:25:46Speaker 1: regular airport. Don't know anything. Yeah, none of that. Ain't
- 1:25:49Speaker 1: been to TSA. Don't even know what it looked like.
- 1:25:52Speaker 1: Never got his back at his luggage lost at the airport,
- 1:25:55Speaker 1: none of that stuff. Yeah. I was in the airport
- 1:25:58Speaker 1: the other day and I think the TSA workers you know, yes, yes,
- 1:26:05Speaker 1: And I said thank you, and they just shook their head.
- 1:26:07Speaker 1: You know, it was a brother. He just looking at
- 1:26:09Speaker 1: me like, yeah, there's some book. Because they're working without pay.
- 1:26:13Speaker 1: I mean, that's dedication right there. It really really is.
- 1:26:17Speaker 1: So are they going to retro those? Okay? Good? Are they? Yeah?
- 1:26:22Speaker 1: So yeah, I hope so too. Yeah that's good to
- 1:26:27Speaker 1: get retro. But it's because they're working. So you got
- 1:26:30Speaker 1: to pay them eventually because they're putting in the hours.
- 1:26:32Speaker 1: But man, what's crazy, though, is see when you check
- 1:26:37Speaker 1: the check that the comeback is hard. Oh yeah, it
- 1:26:42Speaker 1: really is because you gotta play catch shop. Yeah, you know,
- 1:26:45Speaker 1: you gotta play. You missed a couple of mortgages or
- 1:26:48Speaker 1: rent payments, so you gotta play catchhop now Yeah, borrowing
- 1:26:52Speaker 1: money from family members. Some of them are seeking out loans,
- 1:26:55Speaker 1: so that's more. Yeah, he knows nothing about that. Nothing.
- 1:27:00Speaker 1: You to stay afloat, well, you have to be a
- 1:27:03Speaker 1: president to all the people, all of the people. Okay, no, no,
- 1:27:09Speaker 1: it hasn't happened in two years, Steve. That's very apparent, Steve,
- 1:27:13Speaker 1: very much so. But he's gearing up to run again,
- 1:27:18Speaker 1: gearing up for reelection and run away. Well, you know
- 1:27:26Speaker 1: what run away Maniford and all these charges that are
- 1:27:31Speaker 1: that's coming out. It's coming out. So we'll see. All right,
- 1:27:35Speaker 1: we'll be back with more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:27:37Speaker 1: You're listening. Well, yesterday we told you about Kim Kardashian
- 1:27:43Speaker 1: how she's celebrating yet another prison Reformed victory as Centaia
- 1:27:48Speaker 1: Brown was granted clemency from Tennessee Governor Bill Haslam. Congratulations, yes, yes, yes.
- 1:27:55Speaker 1: Several celebrities stepped up in her defense, including Rihanna, Snoop Dogg, Lebron,
- 1:27:59Speaker 1: James Ashley Judd, and Kim Kardashian. Well, now, according to TMZ,
- 1:28:06Speaker 1: Kim Kardashian is becoming the fairy godmother of prison inmates
- 1:28:10Speaker 1: because they're flooding her inbox with just thousands and thousands
- 1:28:15Speaker 1: of letters every day asking her to help them find freedom.
- 1:28:19Speaker 1: Sources close to Kim told TMC that inmates around the
- 1:28:22Speaker 1: country are sending her an endless amount of notes. Uh
- 1:28:26Speaker 1: is hoping that she and her legal team can find
- 1:28:28Speaker 1: a way because she's done it already, you know, can
- 1:28:31Speaker 1: find a way to get them clemency as well. TMZ
- 1:28:34Speaker 1: said Kim has earned the new neck name within the
- 1:28:37Speaker 1: prison system, as both staffords and inmates refer to her
- 1:28:40Speaker 1: as a princess of prison reform. What do you think
- 1:28:42Speaker 1: about that one today? That's cool? That is yeah, you
- 1:28:46Speaker 1: know that you can't get mad of somebody doing some
- 1:28:48Speaker 1: really good work, Like I think that's really cool. Yeah,
- 1:28:51Speaker 1: you know, you gotta find your way in life. You know,
- 1:28:54Speaker 1: that could be something where you know what I mean,

- 1:29:49Speaker 1: so Terry Crews found it. Uh, you know, Taraji, she
- 1:29:53Speaker 1: is the best. Terry said, I do anything for her.
- 1:29:56Speaker 1: So that was great. Always yeah, such legitimate, he really is.
- 1:30:02Speaker 1: I had his chest. I have my shirt off right

- 1:32:51Speaker 1: with some fabulous closing remarks. I know you have say
- 1:32:54Speaker 1: something in the closing remark. Yeah, just oh no, I'm
- 1:33:03Speaker 1: not gonna get done im. I'm trying to be encouraging
- 1:33:09Speaker 1: in twoy nineteen to people and share with you just
- 1:33:13Speaker 1: some of the things. I want to show you how
- 1:33:17Speaker 1: powerful your mind is. I want you to understand that,
- 1:33:21Speaker 1: as I've said oftentimes, that life is ten percent of
- 1:33:24Speaker 1: what happens to you. It's ninety percent what you do
- 1:33:27Speaker 1: about it. I've been talking to you for the past
- 1:33:30Speaker 1: couple of days about living your life in the expectation.
- 1:33:34Speaker 1: I want to show you how powerful of a force
- 1:33:40Speaker 1: your mind is. When you walk in TV. When you
- 1:33:46Speaker 1: walk in the house to watch TV, you have a
- 1:33:49Speaker 1: remote control. When you pick up the remote control, Now
- 1:33:55Speaker 1: keep in mind, now I'm gonna teach you something about
- 1:33:57Speaker 1: your mind. But when you walk in your house to
- 1:34:00Speaker 1: watch TV, and you pick up a remote control and
- 1:34:03Speaker 1: you press the button, the power on button, whether it's
- 1:34:06Speaker 1: in the corner, you remote where it is, and you
- 1:34:09Speaker 1: press it. You aiming at the TV and you press
- 1:34:12Speaker 1: the power button, what do you expect to happen? You
- 1:34:17Speaker 1: expect your TV to come on. You don't hope it
- 1:34:22Speaker 1: comes on. You ain't looking for nothing else to happen.
- 1:34:26Speaker 1: You are single thought that when I press this power
- 1:34:30Speaker 1: button the TV, I expect it to come on. Let's
- 1:34:36Speaker 1: say the SportsCenter is channel forty six, and you press
- 1:34:40Speaker 1: on your remote four six and then you hit select
- 1:34:44Speaker 1: or Okay. When you press in forty six and you
- 1:34:49Speaker 1: see those two numbers come up in the screen and
- 1:34:51Speaker 1: you press okay, what do you expect to happen? I'll
- 1:34:56Speaker 1: tell you you expect SportsCenter to pop up on the screen,
- 1:35:03Speaker 1: and rightfully so, because that's the signal you sent out,
- 1:35:08Speaker 1: and once you send that signal out on that remote,
- 1:35:11Speaker 1: you expect it to come in. A remote control comes
- 1:35:16Speaker 1: from a Bible verse. The whole concept of a remote
- 1:35:21Speaker 1: control was came from a concept in the Bible, a
- 1:35:28Speaker 1: scripture that says a man is as he thinketh. That's
- 1:35:34Speaker 1: where the concept of a remote came from. Because if
- 1:35:38Speaker 1: you do something that you think will occur, and you
- 1:35:41Speaker 1: do it deliberately with expectation, guess what, that's the possibility
- 1:35:48Speaker 1: that it has to happen. So what happens is the
- 1:35:52Speaker 1: remote control operates off of a wave. But that's based
- 1:35:58Speaker 1: on an expectation. So if you live in your life
- 1:36:03Speaker 1: in twenty nineteen with the expectation your mind and you
- 1:36:09Speaker 1: were created in the image of God. When God created
- 1:36:12Speaker 1: all of us, he created us in his image, and
- 1:36:15Speaker 1: he knew that a man was as he thinking, because
- 1:36:18Speaker 1: everything God thought, so everything God thought he made come
- 1:36:22Speaker 1: into existence. He thought of the world, he thought of
- 1:36:24Speaker 1: the heavens and earth, the oceans, the mountains, the clouds,
- 1:36:28Speaker 1: the galaxies. He thought it all, and it came to
- 1:36:31Speaker 1: existence because that's what he thought. But he made us
- 1:36:34Speaker 1: in his image man, so he gave us the power
- 1:36:39Speaker 1: of choice. And he said clearly that a man is
- 1:36:42Speaker 1: as he thinking. So guess what. You can think your
- 1:36:46Speaker 1: way in, and you can think your way out of situations.
- 1:36:52Speaker 1: You can think yourself into a life of riches, or
- 1:36:56Speaker 1: you can think yourself into a life of poverty. You
- 1:37:00Speaker 1: can think yourself into a life of success, or you
- 1:37:04Speaker 1: can think yourself into a life of failure. The decision
- 1:37:08Speaker 1: is yours, because your mind is the greatest remote God
- 1:37:13Speaker 1: has ever created. You think these television tower signals are impressive,
- 1:37:19Speaker 1: They're nothing compared to God. When he created you in
- 1:37:24Speaker 1: his image, in his likeness, he gave you the power
- 1:37:28Speaker 1: that he had. He thought this world into existence, He
- 1:37:33Speaker 1: thought the heavens and earths into existence, and he gave you,
- 1:37:39Speaker 1: his beloved child, the same capacity to think things in
- 1:37:45Speaker 1: too existence. So clearly he said, a man is as
- 1:37:50Speaker 1: he thinking. So in two nineteen, we have to start
- 1:37:55Speaker 1: affecting and changing the things we think. That's how we
- 1:37:59Speaker 1: get the things we want. I'm gonna just put that
- 1:38:02Speaker 1: on you, keep that in your heart, let's move forward.
- 1:38:07Speaker 1: Drop it like, oh, you're not gonna read to use
- 1:38:14Speaker 1: that he broke it new mic. Yeah, we need the
- 1:38:20Speaker 1: new mic guy. Hey y'all, y'all have a great weekend.
- 1:38:24Speaker 1: But you're confusing people and Mississippis and all you get unconfused.
- 1:38:28Speaker 1: I expected to be one, so I just said, have
- 1:38:31Speaker 1: a great weekend and we will come if you expect.
- 1:38:34Speaker 1: But today, thank you quinst it so you don't do that.
- 1:38:39Speaker 1: Oh it's Wednesday. We got to explain that too. White.
