- 0:00Speaker 1: What the grieving process begin. That is what democrats are
- 0:05Speaker 1: now saying. It is like someone died knowing that Donald
- 0:09Speaker 1: Trump will be the president of the United States of America.
- 0:12Speaker 1: Late night shows that are supposed to be filled with
- 0:15Speaker 1: comedy are not right now. Jeff Bridges went on one
- 0:20Speaker 1: of those late night shows, Jimmy Kimmel, and he said
- 0:24Speaker 1: he is, quote going through a grieving process. Yes, a
- 0:28Speaker 1: grieving process, folks, listeners.
- 0:30Speaker 2: And then you're for guarding our coast as well?
- 0:33Speaker 3: Nothing on water? Are you are?
- 0:36Speaker 2: I'm believe here, I'm especially glad here. I'm always glad
- 0:39Speaker 2: that you're here. But I feel like you're a very
- 0:40Speaker 2: positive person. Is that actually?
- 0:42Speaker 3: Give it my shot? Yeah? No, I mean you know
- 0:47Speaker 3: I was disappointed, you know.
- 0:49Speaker 4: Like you were, you know, going through the grieving. Uh process?
- 0:55Speaker 2: What do you do? How do you keep how do
- 0:56Speaker 2: you stay positive?
- 0:58Speaker 3: Well?
- 0:59Speaker 4: Uh, it's interesting you brought the coastguard thing of a Moto.
- 1:04Speaker 4: Coastguardsman is simpa parahas always prepared. Okay, So as I'm
- 1:10Speaker 4: sitting here now, I think, how can I be prepared
- 1:12Speaker 4: during these times? You know, saying, well, what do you think?
- 1:17Speaker 3: Jeff?
- 1:17Speaker 4: Well, life, you know this is part of life. You
- 1:21Speaker 4: got ups and down, strikes and gods. This is how
- 1:25Speaker 4: we roll being alive. Right, And I'm thinking, so what
- 1:31Speaker 4: do you do in times like this? Well, I went
- 1:34Speaker 4: through the grieving process and now I'm finding no, man,
- 1:39Speaker 4: be courageous.
- 1:41Speaker 3: This is the time.
- 1:41Speaker 4: This is calling you to be be a courageous person,
- 1:45Speaker 4: and not only creatively.
- 1:48Speaker 3: You know, but what can I do? You know? What
- 1:51Speaker 3: is it? I belong to a.
- 1:53Speaker 4: Great organization called Share Our Strength. I love that title. Yeah,
- 1:57Speaker 4: I kind of share think that's what I feel I'm
- 2:01Speaker 4: called upon to do, to share my strength.
- 2:04Speaker 2: How do they share their strength?
- 2:05Speaker 3: Oh?
- 2:05Speaker 4: Well, I'm the national spokesperson for No Kid Hungry.
- 2:10Speaker 2: Oh that's a great They do all kinds of things.
- 2:15Speaker 4: So I'm looking for a community that shares my dream
- 2:19Speaker 4: of how the world could be.
- 2:22Speaker 3: And I'm aligning with that and doing my mind right. Yeah,
- 2:26Speaker 3: that something good?
- 2:28Speaker 2: It's yeah, yeah, the opportunity do something good. Yeah, absolutely,
- 2:33Speaker 2: Maybe make a donation and No Kid Hungry?
- 2:35Speaker 3: Oh there you go, you go, It's all right, I
- 2:38Speaker 3: go dan it. And you know, what do you think?
- 2:44Speaker 3: We don't know what's going to happen, man, No, you know.
- 2:48Speaker 4: One of the things that I battled my myself is certainty.
- 2:52Speaker 3: You know you got this, You're not. There's nothing certain man.
- 2:55Speaker 3: We don't know how it's going to turn out.
- 2:57Speaker 2: Yeah, there's monkeys on the loose, you know.
- 3:01Speaker 4: Speaking of with you left out of the big.
- 3:03Speaker 2: One man, a big one, calm King Colin.
- 3:07Speaker 1: Oh yeah, well, I mean this is like watching.
- 3:14Speaker 5: Grown adults act like babies.
- 3:19Speaker 1: Liberals on TikTok are women, specifically, you're saying that they're
- 3:25Speaker 1: not going to vote for conservatives, they're not going to
- 3:29Speaker 1: sleep with men. The meltdown videos are incredible, screaming and ranting,
- 3:38Speaker 1: they're shaving their heads, they're saying they're not gonna have sex.
- 3:42Speaker 1: This is the Democratic Party now, like they're they're all
- 3:46Speaker 1: in folks like we don't get our way and we're
- 3:48Speaker 1: gonna shave our heads, scream like we're children having a
- 3:53Speaker 1: tantrum because we.
- 3:55Speaker 5: Didn't get our way. And and now the women are like,
- 3:58Speaker 5: we're not going to sleep with you.
- 4:00Speaker 6: And the liberal meltdown in response to Trump's with.
- 4:07Speaker 2: Well it continues. Listen term republic in this term, I
- 4:12Speaker 2: don't know why.
- 4:12Speaker 3: Truth out of the house.
- 4:14Speaker 4: We have the traditional four B movement, which is not
- 4:17Speaker 4: going on dates not sleeping with, not marrying, not having
- 4:21Speaker 4: children with men.
- 4:23Speaker 2: Wow, she's not going to be dating the second box
- 4:28Speaker 2: of frends.
- 4:28Speaker 3: Start trying to.
- 4:30Speaker 5: The four B movement.
- 4:33Speaker 1: We have the traditional four B movement, which is not
- 4:36Speaker 1: going on. Date's not sleeping with, not marrying, and not
- 4:38Speaker 1: having children with men. So that is the protest now
- 4:43Speaker 1: of the left. Women thoughts and prayers for them.
- 4:47Speaker 5: AOC.
- 4:48Speaker 1: Apparently she's trying to get her enemies list in order.
- 4:51Speaker 1: She now understands that conservative media like this show and
- 4:56Speaker 1: podcasts like my podcasts actually had influence in this last
- 5:00Speaker 1: election because the mainstream media has lost their power and
- 5:03Speaker 1: their influence the way that they used to be able
- 5:06Speaker 1: to drive everything. AOC asking for names of accounts and
- 5:11Speaker 1: podcasts that Trump listeners listen to.
- 5:15Speaker 7: Which podcasts are you listening to? Which accounts are you
- 5:19Speaker 7: subscribing to? I'm interested, like, genuinely, let me know which
- 5:25Speaker 7: one specifically, which accounts, which podcasts, et cetera.
- 5:29Speaker 5: Yeah, I gotta get my enemies list together.
- 5:30Speaker 1: I got to figure out which one of these conservatives
- 5:33Speaker 1: to go after. I got to see which ones need
- 5:34Speaker 1: to be silenced and or censored, right, Like, this is
- 5:38Speaker 1: what we need to do, MSNBC saying trans kids and
- 5:45Speaker 1: minorities in America will get hurt the most by the
- 5:47Speaker 1: hateful Trump agenda this morning as they are still not
- 5:52Speaker 1: going through the grieving process where they're like, we're not
- 5:54Speaker 1: going to date or sleep with people.
- 5:55Speaker 5: We're still angry. We're just gonna yell at you a
- 5:57Speaker 5: little bit more.
- 5:59Speaker 8: Uh.
- 5:59Speaker 1: One in three minority men voted for Trump. So apparently
- 6:03Speaker 1: you've lost your right to be a minority if you
- 6:05Speaker 1: voted for Trump.
- 6:06Speaker 9: Listen, Yeah, you can't even have a conversation about it,
- 6:09Speaker 9: that's the problem. And can't have a conversation about why
- 6:12Speaker 9: Democrats laws and so it's like they learned absolutely nothing.
- 6:16Speaker 9: They're canceling the United States Congress. They're trying to me,
- 6:19Speaker 9: we can.
- 6:22Speaker 10: No, no, no, I'm not I don't not worry about it.
- 6:24Speaker 10: I'll be just fine. I'll be just fine. But I mean,
- 6:27Speaker 10: you know, the founders had this crazy concept called freedom
- 6:31Speaker 10: of speech, and we Democrats would do well to remember
- 6:35Speaker 10: that foundational American values because we can't talk about these
- 6:39Speaker 10: tough issues, we're never going to win on them. And
- 6:40Speaker 10: guess what, you know, who's going to get hurt the most.
- 6:43Speaker 10: It's it's trans kids, it's minorities across America. We're going
- 6:47Speaker 10: to be attacked by this eightful Trump agenda, and if
- 6:50Speaker 10: we don't have a rational response, then rope Republicans are
- 6:54Speaker 10: just going to carry the day.
- 6:55Speaker 3: That's what Harris's problem was. She didn't have a response to.
- 6:58Speaker 10: This issue because she was so ready to even raise it,
- 7:01Speaker 10: and as a result, Trump pressure on it.
- 7:06Speaker 5: Like I'm not I'm not gloating here. I want to
- 7:08Speaker 5: be clear about that.
- 7:11Speaker 1: I am concerned about the future of the country, knowing
- 7:14Speaker 1: that this is what is still out there fighting against us,
- 7:19Speaker 1: and I am concerned that this is how extreme they become.
- 7:28Speaker 1: Democrats also doing what I told you they were going
- 7:30Speaker 1: to do. They're going to attack deportations in this country
- 7:35Speaker 1: that are coming, and they're going to tell you that
- 7:38Speaker 1: deportations are coming in a way that is going to
- 7:41Speaker 1: be inhumane.
- 7:42Speaker 5: Not true. But the American.
- 7:44Speaker 1: People wanted a deportation policy. It's not controversial if the
- 7:50Speaker 1: American people wanted it. Now Liberals are furious over this
- 7:55Speaker 1: because they lost and now they know that this is
- 7:58Speaker 1: going to be implemented. Listen to Scott and his words
- 8:01Speaker 1: on CNN.
- 8:03Speaker 11: Tom Holman is a fixture for conservatives on this issue
- 8:08Speaker 11: of immigration, and I mean it is what it is.
- 8:11Speaker 11: Trump has ran on this. He promised mass deportations. He's
- 8:15Speaker 11: picked the guy who's going to carry it out. He
- 8:17Speaker 11: was just on TV, as he has been much of today, saying,
- 8:23Speaker 11: you know, he'd be fine if people just picked up
- 8:25Speaker 11: and self deported, but the plan is to round people
- 8:29Speaker 11: up in the interior of the country.
- 8:31Speaker 12: Yeah, and Americans knew that when they voted for Donald Trump.
- 8:34Speaker 12: I mean, you cannot say.
- 8:35Speaker 2: This was a signature issue. There are a lot of.
- 8:38Speaker 12: Things you could say people didn't know about because they
- 8:39Speaker 12: didn't pay his close attention. But the idea of mass deportations,
- 8:43Speaker 12: I mean, it's immigration the border being a signature issue
- 8:46Speaker 12: for this incoming president and for the electorate, and a
- 8:51Speaker 12: number of swing House districts like and the one I
- 8:53Speaker 12: just ran in was top of mind for people.
- 8:56Speaker 6: Not only did people know it, it's overwhelmingly popular. Pole
- 9:00Speaker 6: after poll after poll, Americans wanted this policy, which policy
- 9:04Speaker 6: exactly deportations, and even Master absolutely and even Hispanic Americans
- 9:10Speaker 6: wanted A majority of Hispanic Americans wanted it as well.
- 9:13Speaker 6: This is not controversial. Everybody's trying to make this controversial.
- 9:16Speaker 6: It's not controversial. A couple of things. Number One, presidents
- 9:19Speaker 6: always deport people. Barack Obama deported three million people. This
- 9:23Speaker 6: is not controversial. Actually, And on top of that, one
- 9:25Speaker 6: more issue, there's one point three to one point six
- 9:28Speaker 6: million people who've already received deportation.
- 9:31Speaker 3: Orders from a court.
- 9:31Speaker 6: They've already gotten due process. That's a good place to start.
- 9:34Speaker 6: Not controversial.
- 9:35Speaker 1: Well, let me to your point about the I look
- 9:37Speaker 1: like there, hold on a second, Barack Obama. Barack Obama
- 9:42Speaker 1: deported people, like, wait, he did that three million?
- 9:44Speaker 5: Notice how that go?
- 9:45Speaker 1: Oh? He can't have that out there? He deported three
- 9:48Speaker 1: million people. Did you see anybody freaking out? Did you
- 9:51Speaker 1: see anybody losing their minds? Did you see anybody just
- 9:53Speaker 1: just going insane?
- 9:54Speaker 2: Here?
- 9:55Speaker 3: No?
- 9:56Speaker 1: By the way, just announced it is officially official. It coming,
- 10:00Speaker 1: but it's now official. Republicans win the House, delivering Trump
- 10:06Speaker 1: the perfect trifecta. This coming out this morning. Republicans are
- 10:11Speaker 1: officially projected. We saw it coming, but now it's official
- 10:15Speaker 1: to keep control of the House of Representatives, handing the
- 10:17Speaker 1: party total control of Washington. With President Trump is in
- 10:21Speaker 1: office inaugurated January twentieth, The decision Desk Headquarters projected the
- 10:26Speaker 1: GOP would hold the House by winning its two hundred
- 10:30Speaker 1: and eighteenth seat on Monday, the number needed for a
- 10:33Speaker 1: majority in the lower chamber. The results is a major
- 10:37Speaker 1: win for Speaker Johnson, who skyrocketed up from obscurity to
- 10:43Speaker 1: lead the House GOP not only legislatively, but also in
- 10:46Speaker 1: a large role in its campaign infrastructure. Republicans save some
- 10:51Speaker 1: of their most vulnerable incumbents, like Representative Don Bacon, a
- 10:55Speaker 1: Republican from Nebraska, Representative David Republican California, while defeating several
- 11:04Speaker 1: vulnerable Democratic incumbents, including State Senator Ryan McKenzie Republican Pennsylvania,
- 11:11Speaker 1: unseated Representative Susan Wide Democrat Pennsylvania. Businessman Rob Bresahan defeated
- 11:18Speaker 1: Represented Matt Cartwright, Democrat Pennsylvania as well. Those results made
- 11:23Speaker 1: up for some GOP losses. Three first term New York Republicans,
- 11:28Speaker 1: for example, lost their reelection bids, as did another representative
- 11:32Speaker 1: from Oregon. The final House breakdown is uncertain, with ballots
- 11:37Speaker 1: still being counted for several races in California, but Republicans
- 11:40Speaker 1: are expected to have another slim majority heading into the
- 11:43Speaker 1: new Congress. Those exact numbers will matter a lot for
- 11:47Speaker 1: Johnson's political future for which policies Republicans they can enact
- 11:52Speaker 1: in how the lower Chamber will function.
- 11:56Speaker 5: Or not function.
- 11:57Speaker 1: Trunk gave the speaker a shout out in his victory
- 11:59Speaker 1: speech in Palm Beach in the early hours of Wednesday.
- 12:03Speaker 1: It also looks like we'll be keeping control of the
- 12:06Speaker 1: House of Representatives, and I want to thank Mike Johnson.
- 12:08Speaker 1: I think he's doing a terrific job, is what Trump said.
- 12:11Speaker 1: House Majority Leader Scalifs and House GOP chairman at least
- 12:15Speaker 1: Dephonic also joined Trump at mar Lago to celebrate the victory,
- 12:21Speaker 1: an indication the House GOP strong commitment to back in
- 12:24Speaker 1: the Trump administration's agenda.
- 12:26Speaker 5: As they were there.
- 12:27Speaker 1: Top House Republicans have been working with Senate Republicans for
- 12:31Speaker 1: months on legislative plans that they can swiftly send to
- 12:34Speaker 1: Trump in the first hundred days of the total Republican control.
- 12:38Speaker 1: Those include extending the tax cuts past in Trump's first term,
- 12:42Speaker 1: boosting border wall funding, repealing climate initiatives, and promoting school choice.
- 12:48Speaker 1: But there are likely to be plenty of other fights
- 12:51Speaker 1: and battles, but for the moment, it is official. The
- 12:55Speaker 1: Republicans have control. They take control of the House of Representatives.
- 13:02Speaker 1: This is massive and what this means for the country
- 13:06Speaker 1: and the future is huge. I want to get some
- 13:09Speaker 1: of your phone calls in here on that five three
- 13:11Speaker 1: five nine seven three two five three five nine seven
- 13:15Speaker 1: three two eight hundred number one eight hundred four seven
- 13:18Speaker 1: four nine seven three two one eight hundred four to
- 13:21Speaker 1: seven four nine seven three two.
- 13:25Speaker 5: Your phone calls in here.
- 13:26Speaker 1: See what you think about all of this, uh, and
- 13:28Speaker 1: get your reaction to it. Also, Democrats, as they continue
- 13:33Speaker 1: to act like what the American people wanted is somehow
- 13:35Speaker 1: extreme and radical.
- 13:40Speaker 7: It is.
- 13:42Speaker 1: Another example of them not realizing now that they lost
- 13:49Speaker 1: and they still want to have influence over us.
- 13:51Speaker 5: Let me give you example.
- 13:53Speaker 1: This morning on MSNBC they were talking about Rubio, and
- 13:58Speaker 1: I want you to hear what they had to say
- 14:00Speaker 1: about Marco Rubio on MSNBC.
- 14:02Speaker 13: First, to your first point, I mean, there's been a
- 14:04Speaker 13: widely held belief behind closed doors in Washington and Pentagon
- 14:07Speaker 13: and foreign polse think tanks that twenty twenty five, you're
- 14:10Speaker 13: twenty twenty five is when some sort of negotiations will
- 14:14Speaker 13: have to begin, and perhaps even conclude in the Russia
- 14:16Speaker 13: Ukraine war that at some point the fighting will slow down,
- 14:18Speaker 13: if not altogether cease. There'll be some sort of table
- 14:22Speaker 13: where the two sides will meet. You know, Senator Rubio
- 14:25Speaker 13: did vote against He was one of the fifteen Republican
- 14:27Speaker 13: senators who voted against the last wave of US aid
- 14:31Speaker 13: to Ukraine, though he was supportive more in the past. Certainly,
- 14:34Speaker 13: the national incoming National Security Advisor also skeptical of the
- 14:38Speaker 13: US continuing to fund the war effort. Donald Trump himself
- 14:41Speaker 13: is that. But to Willy's point earlier, I heard from
- 14:44Speaker 13: a number of people within the Biden administration, other foreign
- 14:48Speaker 13: policy leaders, who also all sort of said with almost
- 14:51Speaker 13: in one voice quote, it could have been worse in
- 14:53Speaker 13: terms of the Rubio pick. That he is a senator,
- 14:56Speaker 13: he does have some national security credentials, he has been
- 14:59Speaker 13: a believer in. Now, of course he's going to serve
- 15:01Speaker 13: with the pleasure of a president. He's going to carry
- 15:03Speaker 13: out Trump's agenda. But he's at least something of a
- 15:06Speaker 13: reassuring figure. Also, it's just who doesn't get that job,
- 15:10Speaker 13: the Rick Grenell's, the cash hotels of the world, who
- 15:13Speaker 13: you know, the real fire brands of the right of
- 15:17Speaker 13: MAGA world, who there was real concern might be put
- 15:20Speaker 13: in the foggy bottom post. Now they may get a
- 15:23Speaker 13: big job elsewhere. Obviously, the FBI, CIA, Attorney General, those
- 15:27Speaker 13: posts all still empty. We did see Stephen Miller, hardliner,
- 15:32Speaker 13: immigration hardliner, going back to the White House and deputy
- 15:35Speaker 13: chief of Staff in a role with huge powers.
- 15:38Speaker 2: But at least for.
- 15:39Speaker 13: This, Joe and Mika, at least for this, there's a
- 15:42Speaker 13: sense that the Rubio pick is a signal that there
- 15:44Speaker 13: might be at least some grown ups in the room.
- 15:47Speaker 1: So if Rubio is picked Secretary of State, they're now
- 15:51Speaker 1: saying at least there would be quote, some grown ups
- 15:55Speaker 1: in the room. Rick Garnell was the guy that everyone
- 15:59Speaker 1: thought was going to get it. Okay, that's what they thought.
- 16:04Speaker 1: They thought that that was what was going to happen.
- 16:07Speaker 1: Now if it is Rubio, that would be obviously a change.
- 16:13Speaker 1: We played for you a sixty minutes interview. It was
- 16:17Speaker 1: with the Borders are Tom Homan. Tom did that interview
- 16:21Speaker 1: with sixty minutes, and it was one that was important.
- 16:23Speaker 1: That's exactly why we played it for you here because
- 16:27Speaker 1: it was one that needed to be It was an
- 16:30Speaker 1: interview that you need to hear what he said he
- 16:32Speaker 1: was going to do. It was an interview that many
- 16:35Speaker 1: Democrats try to use as a moment to fear monger.
- 16:40Speaker 1: The only problem was people that watched that sixty minute
- 16:42Speaker 1: interview were not buying into the fear mongering aspect of it.
- 16:46Speaker 1: In fact, it was a complete opposite of that. What
- 16:50Speaker 1: they did is they said, that's what we like, that's
- 16:53Speaker 1: what we want. Now, Tom Homan will be the borders
- 16:56Speaker 1: are dealing with deportations, dealing with mass deportations. This is
- 17:01Speaker 1: something that he has said he's going to do. He's
- 17:03Speaker 1: not afraid of it, he's not concerned, and that you
- 17:09Speaker 1: are going to try to fearmonger him. When he did
- 17:13Speaker 1: this interview, CBS News ran it like it was the
- 17:17Speaker 1: end of the world. They had the conversation like you
- 17:20Speaker 1: should be ashamed that there's someone that is so radical
- 17:23Speaker 1: that would want to actually do this.
- 17:27Speaker 5: I want you to hear how they described it.
- 17:30Speaker 1: This was a month before election day, one month listen carefully.
- 17:37Speaker 14: Welcome back to CBS News twenty four to seven. I'm
- 17:39Speaker 14: read Collin so President elect Donald Trump shaping up the
- 17:42Speaker 14: list of leaders joining him for a second term In
- 17:44Speaker 14: the White House announced former ICE acting director Tom Humman
- 17:47Speaker 14: will take over border control.
- 17:49Speaker 2: But listen to this.
- 17:50Speaker 14: Helman had this to say to sixty Minutes just days
- 17:53Speaker 14: before Donald Trump won the election.
- 17:55Speaker 8: I hear a lot of people say, you know, the
- 17:57Speaker 8: talk of a master deportations races, it's a it's threatening
- 18:01Speaker 8: to immigrant community. It's not threatened to immigrant community. It
- 18:06Speaker 8: should be threatening to the illegal immigrant community. But on
- 18:09Speaker 8: the heels of his historic illegal immigration crisis that has
- 18:15Speaker 8: to be done.
- 18:15Speaker 15: What would the largest deportation in American history look like
- 18:20Speaker 15: to you?
- 18:21Speaker 3: Well, let me tell you what's not going to be.
- 18:23Speaker 8: First, it's not going to be a mass sweep of neighborhoods.
- 18:27Speaker 8: It's not going to be building concentration camps.
- 18:30Speaker 3: I've read it all. It's ridiculous.
- 18:31Speaker 15: But if mass deportation is not going to be as
- 18:34Speaker 15: you said, massive sweeps and concentration camp, it'll.
- 18:38Speaker 3: Be targeted the rest.
- 18:40Speaker 1: It was also I love how they referred to it
- 18:42Speaker 1: as concentration camps. Isn't it funny that they use the
- 18:45Speaker 1: word concentration camps? And the reason why I say is
- 18:48Speaker 1: because the same people that said that Donald Trump was
- 18:51Speaker 1: a Nazi and the lead up to this and that
- 18:54Speaker 1: everybody around him was was was you know, let me
- 18:56Speaker 1: rephrase that that he was Hitler, right, and that everybody
- 19:02Speaker 1: around him that supports him as Nazis. They're like, oh,
- 19:04Speaker 1: we got to use that word. It's a it's a
- 19:05Speaker 1: great word. We gotta we got to use that word.
- 19:07Speaker 1: We got to use that word. We got to use
- 19:09Speaker 1: that word. Over and over and over and over and
- 19:14Speaker 1: over again. They're like, we got to use that word.
- 19:17Speaker 1: That's the word, that's the word, that's the word. Use
- 19:20Speaker 1: that word. They're Nazis. They're Nazis. They're Nazis. They're Nazis,
- 19:25Speaker 1: they're Nazis. Concentration camps, concentration camps, concentration camps.
- 19:30Speaker 5: Now they're like, what do we do now? Not only
- 19:34Speaker 5: do they win?
- 19:35Speaker 1: Like, not not only did they win, they won, and
- 19:40Speaker 1: people are furious that he wont like they can't get.
- 19:42Speaker 5: Their head around men. They like they can't understand this.
- 19:48Speaker 1: You may also remember that the mass deportation program they
- 19:53Speaker 1: described is going after those that are illegals that have.
- 19:56Speaker 5: Committed crimes, and.
- 20:00Speaker 1: Barack Obama deported three million illegal immigrants, three million folks,
- 20:06Speaker 1: three million.
- 20:07Speaker 5: Three million Democrats.
- 20:12Speaker 1: They're really angry this morning, they're saying, don't invite your
- 20:14Speaker 1: loved ones to Thanksgiving, don't invite your loved ones to Christmas.
- 20:19Speaker 1: That's something you just can't do anymore. Like you got
- 20:21Speaker 1: to just stop. Sorry, Like well, like no, they can't come,
- 20:24Speaker 1: they can't be invited. If you voted for Trump, you
- 20:29Speaker 1: can't talk to them, don't sleep with them, right, Like
- 20:31Speaker 1: the list goes on and on. This was on MSNBC
- 20:36Speaker 1: this morning, and or I say last night, you should listen.
- 20:39Speaker 5: It's hilarious.
- 20:40Speaker 16: How do you interact with people who you know voted
- 20:42Speaker 16: for this right if you are an LGBTQ person and
- 20:45Speaker 16: you know someone in your family voted essentially against your rights,
- 20:48Speaker 16: or you're a woman knowing that you know this man
- 20:50Speaker 16: was calling people the B word. Jade Vance was literally
- 20:53Speaker 16: calling Kamala Harris the trash and said we're going to
- 20:56Speaker 16: take out the trash. I know a lot of black
- 20:58Speaker 16: women were incredibly triggered by that. And if you then
- 21:01Speaker 16: meet somebody and you know they voted for the people
- 21:03Speaker 16: who called you trash, or if you're Puerto Rican, you
- 21:06Speaker 16: know and you know someone voted that way, do you
- 21:09Speaker 16: recommend just from a psychological standpoint being around them. We
- 21:12Speaker 16: got the holidays coming up, So.
- 21:15Speaker 17: I love that you asked this question because you know
- 21:18Speaker 17: there is a push I think, just a societal norm
- 21:20Speaker 17: that if somebody is your family, that they are entitled
- 21:24Speaker 17: to your time. And I think the answer is absolutely not.
- 21:28Speaker 17: So if you are going in to a situation where
- 21:31Speaker 17: you have family members, where you have close friends who
- 21:34Speaker 17: you know have voted in ways that are against you,
- 21:38Speaker 17: like what you said, against your livelihood, and it's completely
- 21:43Speaker 17: fine to not be around those people and to tell
- 21:45Speaker 17: them why, you know, to say I have a problem
- 21:48Speaker 17: with the way that you voted because it went against
- 21:51Speaker 17: my very livelihood, and I'm not going to be around
- 21:53Speaker 17: you this holiday.
- 21:54Speaker 2: I need to take some space for me. And I
- 21:56Speaker 2: actually talked to.
- 21:58Speaker 17: You know, adults as well as advising parents for children.
- 22:02Speaker 17: I mean, I think, you know, I don't think that
- 22:05Speaker 17: you should force children. I don't think you should have
- 22:06Speaker 17: forced adults to be around people just because they're your family.
- 22:09Speaker 17: I think there's a level you need to establish boundaries.
- 22:14Speaker 17: And if you feel like you need to establish boundaries
- 22:17Speaker 17: with people, whether they're your family or not, I think.
- 22:20Speaker 2: You should very much be entitled to do so.
- 22:22Speaker 17: And I think it may be essential for your mental health.
- 22:25Speaker 5: There you go for your mental health. Entitled You're entitled.
- 22:27Speaker 5: Notice how they love using that word entitled entitled.
- 22:31Speaker 1: Jesse Waters on Fox saying his own mother after this segment, saying,
- 22:36Speaker 1: not room for you at Thanksgiving?
- 22:38Speaker 18: Yeah, people who are taking some space in the Water's household.
- 22:41Speaker 18: I'll have you know that I was not invited to
- 22:44Speaker 18: my mother's house for Thanksgiving.
- 22:46Speaker 2: Apparently there wasn't enough room.
- 22:48Speaker 18: She said it was a scheduling situation, and then at
- 22:51Speaker 18: the last second invited me to come over on Black frouduct.
- 22:54Speaker 2: I told her, no, thanks, I'll be a.
- 22:55Speaker 5: Best buy there.
- 22:57Speaker 1: It is, Jesse Waters, are not invited to my mother
- 23:00Speaker 1: house for Thanksgiving?
- 23:01Speaker 5: Apparently there wasn't enough room.
- 23:04Speaker 1: So much for like unifying the country, right, Like Democrats
- 23:07Speaker 1: always talk about tolerance, right, and yeah, like, how's that
- 23:11Speaker 1: working out for you?
- 23:13Speaker 5: They all they're always talking about tolerance always.
- 23:17Speaker 1: You must be a tolerant of my views. You must
- 23:21Speaker 1: be tolerant of what I believe. You must be tolerant
- 23:26Speaker 1: of what I'm asking you to do. You must be
- 23:28Speaker 1: tolerant of everything that I am involved in. Right, you
- 23:34Speaker 1: must be tolerant, But if you disagree with anything essay,
- 23:38Speaker 1: then you're the intolerant one. In other words, my radical
- 23:41Speaker 1: and extremist ideas you must be tolerant of. And if
- 23:44Speaker 1: you're not tolerant of it, then I will uninvite you
- 23:48Speaker 1: to our family, like we will excommunicate you from our family.
- 23:55Speaker 5: That's sick.
- 23:57Speaker 1: Tulta Gabbert is dangerous pick for d and I apparently, Yes,
- 24:02Speaker 1: Department National they're like, I mean, they are just livid
- 24:07Speaker 1: over this. They're now saying she's a crazy conspiracy theorist
- 24:11Speaker 1: who is somehow unqualified because she became a Republican after
- 24:14Speaker 1: being a Democrat.
- 24:15Speaker 5: Take a listen.
- 24:16Speaker 19: Right with us now is Democratic Congresswoman Abigail Spanberger, who
- 24:20Speaker 19: serves on the Intelligence Committee and is a former CIA
- 24:24Speaker 19: case officer. Congresswoman, thank you so much for being with us.
- 24:27Speaker 19: You have written about your concerns of the announcement of
- 24:31Speaker 19: the nomination of Tulsi Gabbert, former member of Congress, former
- 24:34Speaker 19: Democratic member of Congress, to be Director of National Intelligence.
- 24:37Speaker 19: You have said you were concerned what it means for
- 24:39Speaker 19: national security.
- 24:41Speaker 15: Why, well, this is not about party, This is not
- 24:46Speaker 15: about partisan politics, This is not about President elect Trump.
- 24:50Speaker 15: This is about our national security. And the reality is
- 24:55Speaker 15: that anyone who would traffic in conspiracy theories, who would
- 24:59Speaker 15: align themselves with Bashar al Assad after he used chemical
- 25:03Speaker 15: weapons against his civilian population, or align herself with Vladimir Putin,
- 25:08Speaker 15: should not have the role of Director of National Intelligence.
- 25:14Speaker 1: It is an.
- 25:15Speaker 15: Essential role that frankly, most people have never heard of,
- 25:18Speaker 15: because every single day the DNI works to ensure that
- 25:23Speaker 15: our intelligence community is cooperating, is sharing information, and ultimately
- 25:30Speaker 15: is focused on the singular mission of protecting the United
- 25:34Speaker 15: States of America and the American people. And Tulsea Gabbert
- 25:38Speaker 15: is a dangerous pick for this role.
- 25:41Speaker 1: I love that none of that went fact checked. The
- 25:44Speaker 1: propaganda there. She did not align herself with a sad
- 25:48Speaker 1: but who cares throw that out there? She didn't align
- 25:50Speaker 1: herself with Putin? Who cares go out there and put
- 25:53Speaker 1: that out there? Right, Like, just just throw it out there,
- 25:59Speaker 1: put it out there, throw it out there, and don't
- 26:02Speaker 1: fact check any of it.
- 26:05Speaker 5: CNN.
- 26:06Speaker 1: John Bergman to the congresswoman as well, having this to
- 26:10Speaker 1: say about American didn't vote for this, Well, wait, we
- 26:14Speaker 1: did vote for a change. Donald Trump has done nothing
- 26:18Speaker 1: in his cabinet picks. That wasn't what he said he
- 26:21Speaker 1: was going to do if he was elected.
- 26:24Speaker 19: Robert Kennedy Junior, Tulsey Gabber to an extent, Matt Yates.
- 26:28Speaker 19: These are people who were everywhere on the campaign with
- 26:31Speaker 19: Donald Trump when he was running for election. People paid attention,
- 26:35Speaker 19: They saw them with Trump, they heard Trump talking about them.
- 26:39Speaker 19: What is it that you think the American people voted for?
- 26:43Speaker 15: You know, it's interesting because people continue to be surprised,
- 26:47Speaker 15: and I will say these nominations, they are shocking, absolutely,
- 26:52Speaker 15: because the individuals you mentioned are wholly unfit to lead
- 26:56Speaker 15: the vast organizations that do things like protect the American
- 27:01Speaker 15: public from the next global pandemic, or ensure that terrorists
- 27:07Speaker 15: who might wish to do harm here domestically are unable
- 27:10Speaker 15: to do it, or in you know, recognize the importance
- 27:16Speaker 15: and the value of collecting information so that policymakers can
- 27:19Speaker 15: make good decisions. The fact that these three essential roles
- 27:23Speaker 15: might be led by individuals with no requisite or relevant
- 27:28Speaker 15: background and in fact a history of just kind of outrageous.
- 27:34Speaker 19: But I guess my point is, didn't America vote for this?
- 27:37Speaker 19: Isn't this what people they saw it? They voted for it.
- 27:42Speaker 15: You know, from my perspective, it is shocking, it is
- 27:44Speaker 15: not surprising.
- 27:46Speaker 7: But I've.
- 27:51Speaker 15: The American people, and certainly the people I represent are
- 27:55Speaker 15: are good people, are people who are focused on their families,
- 27:58Speaker 15: are focused.
- 28:00Speaker 1: So if I voted for Donald Trump, I'm a bad person.
- 28:03Speaker 1: Now did you hear that? She just can't admit that
- 28:06Speaker 1: the American people knew what they were voting for and
- 28:08Speaker 1: they're okay with it. Didn't America vote for this? They
- 28:12Speaker 1: saw Trump's picks on the campaign Trump nothing here was
- 28:15Speaker 1: being hidden. All of the people he's been putting out
- 28:18Speaker 1: there are people that you saw on the campaign trail.
- 28:21Speaker 1: They heard Trump talking to them, They saw them together,
- 28:24Speaker 1: They saw them arms around each other, traveling together, speaking together,
- 28:28Speaker 1: having them on stage together. Yes, America voted for this.
- 28:32Speaker 1: I'm sorry you can't accept the American people have said
- 28:34Speaker 1: to you. We think you're the bad guy, and we
- 28:38Speaker 1: want more of that what Donald Trump was offering, We
- 28:42Speaker 1: want much more of that.
- 28:44Speaker 5: That's the truth of the matter.
- 28:46Speaker 1: Make sure you share this podcast with your family and
- 28:48Speaker 1: your friends, and I will see you back here tomorrow.
