- 2:11Speaker 1: radio show one more time partner, Steve Harvey got a
- 2:14Speaker 1: radio show. Man. How amazing is that? How good has
- 2:22Speaker 1: God been to me? How good has he been to you?
- 2:27Speaker 1: Just check yourself sometimes, just sit up, Just let's run
- 2:31Speaker 1: a survey. Just look at your life, where it's at.
- 2:34Speaker 1: It might not be where you wanted to be, but
- 2:36Speaker 1: that's probably some decisions you made. But really, though, in
- 2:40Speaker 1: spite of all the crazy mistakes I didn't made, I mean, man,
- 2:45Speaker 1: I look back at some of the decisions I didn't
- 2:48Speaker 1: came up with, and and man, it's it's it's just amazing.
- 2:51Speaker 1: He let me live. I mean, it's it's and and
- 2:55Speaker 1: and to exist the way I exist, that's nothing but grace, mercy,
- 3:00Speaker 1: favor all that is. That's what my mama praying for
- 3:02Speaker 1: me when I wasn't praying for myself. It had to
- 3:05Speaker 1: be it, because, man, I can truly tell you I
- 3:08Speaker 1: have made enough mistakes man, stuff you would never even
- 3:12Speaker 1: know about, and recovered from them all you can too,
- 3:18Speaker 1: and I don't care what you've done. Marvin Sapp has
- 3:21Speaker 1: a song out that says he saw the best in
- 3:24Speaker 1: me when everyone else around me could only see the
- 3:28Speaker 1: worst in me. You know that that's an important song
- 3:31Speaker 1: man especially. You know. I want to talk to men
- 3:35Speaker 1: today because man, being a man is so so difficult.
- 3:45Speaker 1: Please know it has been my quest ever since I
- 3:49Speaker 1: was a little boy. My father had one ambition, son,
- 3:53Speaker 1: I don't care what you do, but when I get
- 3:56Speaker 1: through raising you, you will be a man. That's all
- 4:00Speaker 1: I want you to be. He never cared what I
- 4:01Speaker 1: did for a living, and it never made a difference
- 4:03Speaker 1: to him. You're going to be a man. Manhood is difficult. Now, ladies,
- 4:08Speaker 1: just listening to this, I'm not saying womanhood ain't. I
- 4:12Speaker 1: don't know what it takes to be a woman, so
- 4:14Speaker 1: you know, but I do know exactly what it takes
- 4:17Speaker 1: to be a man. So you know, sometimes when you
- 4:20Speaker 1: talk to people on the radio, you have to preface
- 4:23Speaker 1: things because people are just go he trying to make
- 4:25Speaker 1: it look like womanhood. Ain't. No, That's not what I'm doing.
- 4:28Speaker 1: I'm just talking to men today to explain to them
- 4:31Speaker 1: that daign by the self and struggling trying to figure
- 4:34Speaker 1: this thing out, that you are not alone in your
- 4:37Speaker 1: quest for manhood. That is difficult, but I gotta I
- 4:41Speaker 1: gotta tell you, man manhood is that kind of difficult,
- 4:46Speaker 1: and it becomes even more compounded if a young boy
- 4:50Speaker 1: does not have a male role model. I've said it
- 4:54Speaker 1: a thousand times. I'll say it again. A young boy
- 4:57Speaker 1: without a male role model is like an laural without
- 5:00Speaker 1: a map. While I have a suggestion for everybody that's
- 5:04Speaker 1: struggling with manhood and all of the men out there
- 5:07Speaker 1: that are men, this messages for all of us, and
- 5:10Speaker 1: it's for me too. You know. I was listening to
- 5:12Speaker 1: George Myers the other day and she made a statement,
- 5:16Speaker 1: she said, sometimes you gotta do the right thing, even
- 5:20Speaker 1: when it feels wrong. You know, one of the difficulties
- 5:24Speaker 1: of manhood is pure pressure and the misguided principles of manhood.
- 5:32Speaker 1: See what God wants us to be as men and
- 5:37Speaker 1: what we believe manhood is sometimes two different things. Give
- 5:42Speaker 1: you an example. I wrote this book for women, right
- 5:45Speaker 1: and I was telling them the three ways that a
- 5:48Speaker 1: man shows his love, and I call him three p's.
- 5:52Speaker 1: We profess, we protect, and we provide. Every man who
- 5:57Speaker 1: is a man, that's how he exhibits love. When I
- 6:00Speaker 1: talkie talkie comforting with our great nurturers. But when it
- 6:04Speaker 1: comes down to do it, what we all want to do,
- 6:07Speaker 1: what is in our dad DNA, is to profess our
- 6:10Speaker 1: love for something you as a woman, to protect you
- 6:13Speaker 1: as a woman, and to provide for you as a woman.
- 6:15Speaker 1: That's in our DNA. Now, sometimes that gets messed up,
- 6:19Speaker 1: and I'll give you an example. Sometimes when a boy
- 6:23Speaker 1: doesn't have the proper, real role model in his life,
- 6:26Speaker 1: he takes that principle of love that we all possessing
- 6:28Speaker 1: us every man, the professing part, the protecting, and in
- 6:32Speaker 1: the providing part, and we misplay it. That's why gangs exist.
- 6:37Speaker 1: Gangs exist off those three principles. What's the first thing
- 6:41Speaker 1: a gang member do he professed, he claim a hood.
- 6:45Speaker 1: That's the first thing you do. That's my neighborhood. I'm
- 6:48Speaker 1: Duce's tray, I'm triple h, I'm duc de Duke, I'm purple,
- 6:52Speaker 1: I'm red, I'm blue. The first thing they do is claim.
- 6:55Speaker 1: That's professing. That's how we show our love. But it's
- 6:58Speaker 1: misguided though. Now we're professing something that ain't even good
- 7:03Speaker 1: for us. Your hood, your game, your click now, guess
- 7:06Speaker 1: what Now we got to protect it. So now as
- 7:11Speaker 1: a protection part of our love, here we go. You
- 7:14Speaker 1: come down here, we're gonna do this to you. You
- 7:17Speaker 1: go over there, they're gonna do that to you. You
- 7:20Speaker 1: protect your hood, This your turf, this all you got.
- 7:23Speaker 1: You ain't nobody coming down here with blue owned. Can't
- 7:25Speaker 1: nobody come over here with red on. You can't come
- 7:27Speaker 1: over here with purple on. You can't come over here
- 7:28Speaker 1: with black and gold on. And we and we protect
- 7:31Speaker 1: that because that's in our DNA. And then what's the
- 7:35Speaker 1: third thing we provide? So guess what the gang need money?
- 7:38Speaker 1: Guess what we do. We're selling drugs, we're selling women,
- 7:43Speaker 1: we're selling guns. It go back to the same thing. Man,
- 7:47Speaker 1: I don't know how God gave it to me that
- 7:49Speaker 1: way when I was writing a book, but he showed
- 7:51Speaker 1: it to me along the way. That's how men love well.
- 7:54Speaker 1: When you don't have a role model in your life.
- 7:56Speaker 1: Guess what, Now that love is misplaced, it's misguided, it's
- 7:59Speaker 1: off track. Ain't no man told you that. Really, you're
- 8:02Speaker 1: supposed to take this love and give it to a woman.
- 8:05Speaker 1: You're really supposed to profess, protect and provide for a woman,
- 8:09Speaker 1: not your gang set. Now you're professing your hood, wrapping
- 8:13Speaker 1: a color, You're protecting your territory, shooting people driving by
- 8:16Speaker 1: coming over you on your street, and then you provide.
- 8:19Speaker 1: Now you are here selling drugs and guns for the
- 8:20Speaker 1: same thing. When a boy does not have a male
- 8:23Speaker 1: role model, he has a misguided way of looking at manhood.
- 8:29Speaker 1: Here's a deal. See, God created all of us in
- 8:33Speaker 1: his image. That means He's put some of our DNA
- 8:36Speaker 1: in him. That's why it's in your DNA to profess, protect,
- 8:40Speaker 1: and provide, because guess what, that's what God do for us,
- 8:44Speaker 1: because we His children. I'm just talking to men right now.
- 8:48Speaker 1: I'm just telling you, man, I had to wake up
- 8:50Speaker 1: about five years ago. I wasn't doing what God wanted
- 8:54Speaker 1: me to do, and then he shook me. He said, man,
- 8:57Speaker 1: I'm gonna bring about some changes in your life. I'm
- 8:59Speaker 1: gonna hall some things to happen that's gonna put you
- 9:02Speaker 1: in a position. And this time you're gonna listen to me,
- 9:05Speaker 1: because if you don't, you're gonna keep living in this
- 9:08Speaker 1: pain you've been in. But you put yourself in this pain.
- 9:11Speaker 1: I own no blame to no one else but myself.
- 9:14Speaker 1: Please know, I know that. And that's how you really
- 9:17Speaker 1: get to manhood when you figure out what you hadn't
- 9:19Speaker 1: done wrong. You can't blame this on none of your
- 9:22Speaker 1: exes because you are a man. You can't go my
- 9:24Speaker 1: ex dear this. No, No, you're a man, pardner. You
- 9:27Speaker 1: got to take responsibility for yours and yours alone. If
- 9:31Speaker 1: you got kids, you got to get to them some
- 9:34Speaker 1: kind of way. Write him a letter, send them the money.
- 9:37Speaker 1: If she won't let you see it, for the money, whatever,
- 9:39Speaker 1: Send them money to a mama. Do what you're supposed
- 9:42Speaker 1: to do as a man. Do what God want you
- 9:45Speaker 1: to do, man, because he's not letting us off the
- 9:48Speaker 1: hook for what we're supposed to be just because you
- 9:50Speaker 1: ain't doing it. And if you do it, you turn
- 9:53Speaker 1: your life around. Just holding that the Fellers to day
- 9:56Speaker 1: that saw Sorry about that. You're listening. Good morning show,

- 12:23Speaker 1: you see how I talk to me when I come
- 12:24Speaker 1: into work. No, but do you all have history? Man? Oh,

- 12:33Speaker 1: If we didn't know, we would, yeah, we would think

- 12:40Speaker 1: That's just yea us. I don't do it on the
- 12:42Speaker 1: other job. But that's love though, that that's that's junior.
- 12:50Speaker 1: He lied right now? What did he sell when he
- 12:52Speaker 1: doesn't do it anywhere else? He come in there on
- 12:54Speaker 1: the day, he come in there and give us a gift. Wow,
- 13:04Speaker 1: that's fun. It's mont you're listening to all right, it

- 13:14Speaker 1: your reenactment. This is for all me and listening today.
- 13:22Speaker 1: We're going to give you how it works when you're
- 13:26Speaker 1: trying to end the conversation with your wife or girlfriend
- 13:34Speaker 1: and you're trying to find a way to end it
- 13:37Speaker 1: or not have it at all, or not have this conversation.
- 13:40Speaker 1: You're gonna have it, but somehow it just goes on it.
- 13:46Speaker 1: You don't want to talk. Basically, you don't want to
- 13:49Speaker 1: talk because you've been at work a damn day. Quiet.
- 13:53Speaker 1: You just want to come in and not talk to nobody.
- 13:57Speaker 1: You don't understand that, every man, how can you? You
- 14:00Speaker 1: don't want to talk? See what I'm saying. Here's hat
- 14:02Speaker 1: go what's wrong with talking? Here's how it goes. You
- 14:07Speaker 1: just walked in the house. They baby, how are you doing?
- 14:11Speaker 1: I'm doing good. How would your day to day? I'm tired,
- 14:15Speaker 1: I'm beat up, man, it was rough out there to day?
- 14:17Speaker 1: What's a rough but going to it and nothing? It
- 14:23Speaker 1: was just a long day, baby, you know, I get
- 14:25Speaker 1: sometimes I just gonna sit down and cheell, get my
- 14:27Speaker 1: thoughts going a minute to myself, Well what happened? It
- 14:32Speaker 1: was just a long day, you know, just long, long,
- 14:35Speaker 1: like long, like what I mean long, like how I've
- 14:37Speaker 1: been down there all day now, just just been there
- 14:40Speaker 1: all day. If it been that all day working, I
- 14:42Speaker 1: got two jobs and just got home. It's just a
- 14:45Speaker 1: long day. I'm just tired, that's all. What happen the
- 14:48Speaker 1: first job? Just tell me that ain't ain't nothing in
- 14:53Speaker 1: particular happened, you know, it just was so you were
- 14:56Speaker 1: that all day and you're telling me nothing happened particular. No,
- 15:00Speaker 1: I ain't. No, not nothing meaning for happen. So something
- 15:04Speaker 1: did happen. No, baby, Listen, Listen. What I'm saying is
- 15:12Speaker 1: it just it was just a long day, just you know,
- 15:15Speaker 1: you know, just the day to day got in the way,
- 15:17Speaker 1: and it's just tired of something happened that you don't
- 15:19Speaker 1: want to tell me about. I ain't nothing happening that
- 15:22Speaker 1: I ain't gonna tell you about. I'm just trying to
- 15:23Speaker 1: tell you. Ain't nothing really happened, but just what I'm
- 15:27Speaker 1: just I'm tired. Well, you know you sound like you're yelling.
- 15:31Speaker 1: I mean, all right, listen to me. Look I ain't.
- 15:35Speaker 1: I ain't trying to. Look I'm not yelling if I did, Okay,
- 15:39Speaker 1: I just want to go on. Listen, what happened. What Hey, look,
- 15:45Speaker 1: I'm tired, I didn't have a good day. I'm just
- 15:48Speaker 1: gonna go on in here. I'm watching a little TV.
- 15:52Speaker 1: And so you don't want to talk. Basically what you say,
- 15:55Speaker 1: you don't want to talk in you all day and
- 15:59Speaker 1: you come home and now I want to talk. You
- 16:01Speaker 1: want to talk to me? Is that? Is that? Basically
- 16:03Speaker 1: what you're saying. You don't You've been talking to all
- 16:05Speaker 1: other people all day when I bows at work though
- 16:08Speaker 1: I'm on talk at work. Oh well, I just want
- 16:11Speaker 1: to check. Ok. No, baby, I just want to chill
- 16:14Speaker 1: work at the house. There's no talking. Well, no, I
- 16:16Speaker 1: just want to cheer, not just want to cheer for
- 16:19Speaker 1: a little while. Don't you have a talk show? You
- 16:22Speaker 1: have two shows? Just talk if you come home, it's
- 16:25Speaker 1: just no talking. That's well. I got a radio show too.
- 16:28Speaker 1: I do radio show, dinner, do two talk shows, and
- 16:31Speaker 1: I got a brief in and I do meeting. You're
- 16:33Speaker 1: talking to meeting, y'all talking to meeting. You're talking the show. Yeah,
- 16:37Speaker 1: you're talking to radio show. Yeah, but you can't talk home.
- 16:39Speaker 1: But I'm trying to talking loud. O't aint getting loud.
- 16:44Speaker 1: You're getting loud. Now, yeah, well, you ain't listening. I'm listening.
- 16:47Speaker 1: I'm trying to talk. Now you ain't hearing me. I'm
- 16:51Speaker 1: my voice raising because you're not listening. You know what,
- 16:53Speaker 1: Forget it, just forget it, just forget the whole thing.
- 16:56Speaker 1: Forget a ass, get it all right now, I don't
- 16:59Speaker 1: want to talk to them home. Okay, cool, I'm going
- 17:01Speaker 1: in here for ever. I'm going in here. I'm not
- 17:07Speaker 1: talking to you no more. You don't have to worry
- 17:09Speaker 1: about me talking to you, okay, Okay, when you coming
- 17:13Speaker 1: in from now, I will not be talking. Okay, let's
- 17:17Speaker 1: see how you like that. If you don't want to talk,
- 17:19Speaker 1: then I don't want to talk. Baby. Look no no,
- 17:21Speaker 1: no, no no no no. I tried to talk, but you
- 17:24Speaker 1: didn't want to talk. Now you want to talk, baby,
- 17:30Speaker 1: I'm going in here and just sit down the chill
- 17:33Speaker 1: because you can't talk to me, all right, baby, just
- 17:37Speaker 1: just look look just whatever you're saying, I didn't even
- 17:40Speaker 1: know are we talking? Are not? I was going to
- 17:43Speaker 1: hear you said you wanna talk to me? No more? Okay,
- 17:45Speaker 1: forget it. Now we're out to talk. Okay, let's stop talk.
- 17:48Speaker 1: You don't talk to me and I won't talk to you,
- 17:50Speaker 1: all right, that's good. That works fan for me. Ever
- 17:54Speaker 1: talk to you? Now? He walks away under his breath
- 17:59Speaker 1: and he so he thinks, and he says. The husband
- 18:05Speaker 1: answers crazy. And then she follows him in the room.
- 18:10Speaker 1: Oh yeah, she says, I just have one question. I
- 18:15Speaker 1: just I just have one more question. Ask you, why
- 18:21Speaker 1: don't you want to talk to me? Yeah? What did
- 18:25Speaker 1: I do? Because I didn't do anything to you? Now
- 18:28Speaker 1: you ain't did nothing. I just told you I had
- 18:29Speaker 1: a long thing, and you said you ain't want to talk.
- 18:31Speaker 1: I said, I'm going to hear the chill and you
- 18:33Speaker 1: to follow me in and ask me again one more thing.
- 18:38Speaker 1: I got one more thing to ask you, Colombo. Yeah,
- 18:45Speaker 1: come on, well okay, so one more time under my breath.
- 18:50Speaker 1: And I don't think she can hear this. So I
- 18:52Speaker 1: said to myself this helpful. Oh I'm crazy. I'm crazy
- 19:02Speaker 1: now I'm ready. No, I woke that one job ain't crazy,
- 19:05Speaker 1: but I'm crazy. No, I ain't say he's crazy. I
- 19:08Speaker 1: an't say he was crazy. I'm crazy now I'm crazy. No,
- 19:11Speaker 1: I say what I'm gonna show you craziest. I'm gonna
- 19:14Speaker 1: show you crazy. No, I don't know what I said.
- 19:17Speaker 1: What I ain't saying? You this crazy? Now, I'm sure
- 19:21Speaker 1: you know I said this crazy? You you want to
- 19:23Speaker 1: see it. I'm sure to you what I'm looking at?
- 19:28Speaker 1: Wait what he's already looking at? Every man who's winning
- 19:37Speaker 1: his wife? Good friend? Laugh when you get that work? Okay,
- 19:43Speaker 1: oh my god, that's it right there. Nah, we pretty
- 19:52Speaker 1: much covered it. Huh yeah, good job, Jay. Yeah, you
- 19:57Speaker 1: played wife very well, very well. Coming up, We gotta go,
- 20:01Speaker 1: coming up. Never you, Timmy's run that prank back. You're

- 20:52Speaker 1: everything is fine. I mean a quick question, man, we
- 20:55Speaker 1: got a situation here with what's going on. We're not
- 20:59Speaker 1: we're not gonna be allowed to uh to let him
- 21:01Speaker 1: swim here at the pool and the complex anymore. What
- 21:05Speaker 1: we got him from me? Your son? I mean he
- 21:09Speaker 1: swims in pretty much every every every other day. You know,
- 21:12Speaker 1: I'm always here seeing him swim, but it seems like
- 21:15Speaker 1: he is. You know, we've been trying to figure out
- 21:18Speaker 1: who it is your son keep peeing in the pool, Sam,
- 21:25Speaker 1: I don't want to get into it with you, your son.
- 21:28Speaker 1: We finally narrowed it down. Your son is the one
- 21:30Speaker 1: that's pining in the pool every day, and you know
- 21:32Speaker 1: it's really a bad thing. Uh. We can't continue to
- 21:35Speaker 1: keep letting them come over here. We gotta ban him
- 21:37Speaker 1: from the pool so we ain't nash it like this.
- 21:41Speaker 1: Did you check them to be He's gonna say it's
- 21:44Speaker 1: my son and in the pool, But your son is
- 21:47Speaker 1: the one to be making faces and stuff, and I
- 21:49Speaker 1: know that's what he's doing here in their pin Your
- 21:51Speaker 1: son is the one that's pinings. He'd be making faces,
- 21:56Speaker 1: so I know here and their pet, we should be
- 21:59Speaker 1: making faces too. Oh, it's something that you're gonna say
- 22:03Speaker 1: in the pool because he's making safe. I'm not gonna
- 22:06Speaker 1: go back lasting like that. I teach my kids better
- 22:09Speaker 1: than that. He ain't been a pool lady. I'm not
- 22:12Speaker 1: gonna All I'm saying is he can't come over here
- 22:14Speaker 1: and swim anymore. He's banned from the pool until we
- 22:17Speaker 1: rectify this problem. You're not saying when he gonna be
- 22:21Speaker 1: in the pool and we all pool, we are gonna
- 22:24Speaker 1: be there. And that's a mind made of fact. I'm thinking,
- 22:26Speaker 1: I'm kids to the pool. No, we're gonna last. Man,
- 22:30Speaker 1: I'm not been the city and go back and forth
- 22:31Speaker 1: with you all. I'm trying to tell you it was
- 22:33Speaker 1: just right here. Your son has been paying in the pool.
- 22:36Speaker 1: My boss wants me to bed him. If he's not
- 22:39Speaker 1: the one, then we will allow him to come back later.
- 22:41Speaker 1: But right now with singling people out and your son,
- 22:45Speaker 1: you know, it just seems like he's the one that's
- 22:46Speaker 1: doing it. What's your name? Was? My name is Glenn.
- 22:50Speaker 1: I'm Glen the lifeguard. That's who I am. No, what's
- 22:53Speaker 1: your real name? Then I'm supposed to be calling you
- 22:57Speaker 1: ain't got little bit this scout of my my son,
- 23:00Speaker 1: no fool, how you everthing to get I'm not at
- 23:03Speaker 1: liberty to give my lad's name. The bottom line is
- 23:06Speaker 1: we can't live in carn in the bottom what but
- 23:09Speaker 1: you m'tlet me to call? But you can't give me
- 23:12Speaker 1: your own money? Okay, listen, I'm not All I'm supposed
- 23:15Speaker 1: to do is call you wnna. Let you know that
- 23:16Speaker 1: we're banned in your son from getting in the pool.
- 23:20Speaker 1: Once you're talking about you can't band my father treading
- 23:23Speaker 1: the life board, get a rid job, a summer job?
- 23:27Speaker 1: Did you got a job? And I calling my found
- 23:30Speaker 1: you said, you know what, you ain't aboudy and you
- 23:33Speaker 1: can't stop nobody who come next pool and we're gonna
- 23:36Speaker 1: be damned though tomorrow again. And if you did do
- 23:41Speaker 1: your job and clean that man, let me say this
- 23:44Speaker 1: to you, if your son comes to the pool tomorrow
- 23:47Speaker 1: and get in the pool, I'm snatching your son out
- 23:49Speaker 1: of the pool. I'm less you n I wish you
- 23:52Speaker 1: would because you don't need a lifeguard, you said, trying
- 23:56Speaker 1: a pool. I wish you would. What what kind the
- 24:00Speaker 1: probe open? At ten o'clock. We're gonna be there nine Saturday.
- 24:03Speaker 1: You got me up. Come about. You're gonna snatch my
- 24:06Speaker 1: son out the pool? You know mine? Everybody be pool?
- 24:11Speaker 1: Yea mine, lady. The problem is whatever has been singled
- 24:16Speaker 1: out all the other kids, appointing us and saying he's
- 24:19Speaker 1: the one that's doing it. Your son is the one
- 24:21Speaker 1: that's being over He's saying whatever whatever. For right now,
- 24:27Speaker 1: all I'm asking is is keep your son away from
- 24:29Speaker 1: the pool for the next two weeks. If we found
- 24:31Speaker 1: out that that's not him, will allow him to come back? Okay,
- 24:34Speaker 1: ain't me. He ain't staying away from the pool for
- 24:36Speaker 1: two weeks. And if you do, he's gonna come back
- 24:38Speaker 1: and do for most pool. I'm gonna telling the hold
- 24:41Speaker 1: two weeks with and go back to that talking about
- 24:44Speaker 1: my son. Who you can tell you about his faith?
- 24:47Speaker 1: You said what you said, he's folly watching life. You
- 24:52Speaker 1: watch at the pool. You're mine. You must not know
- 24:56Speaker 1: what you're talking to. I will be down. That's a model.
- 24:59Speaker 1: Me and I gonna find my kids and they don't
- 25:02Speaker 1: get a fool too. I want to do a little
- 25:05Speaker 1: kids go without getting them in the pool. Let me
- 25:06Speaker 1: tell you something. Don't you bring them kids over there
- 25:09Speaker 1: and bring them in the pool. No, none of your children.
- 25:12Speaker 1: I don't give it. And what you say you don't
- 25:14Speaker 1: run life. God get rid of John. Lady. Listen, lady,
- 25:19Speaker 1: I'm not gonna go continue to go back and forth.
- 25:21Speaker 1: I got one more thing I need to say to you,

- 43:27Speaker 1: and look Levinus too, Yes, sir. Have you looked at
- 43:31Speaker 1: the comparison of two year olds the majority of two
- 43:35Speaker 1: year olds and in comparison to I guess I should
- 43:38Speaker 1: say size in comparison to the bond side, you mean
- 43:41Speaker 1: like in body way body size? Yeah, I mean he's
- 43:44Speaker 1: a little tall. You know, he wasn't a small chap
- 43:46Speaker 1: when he's borne. He was ten pounds. But no, he's
- 43:49Speaker 1: on the scale of right where he should be. He's
- 43:52Speaker 1: just a little, you know, taller because his daddy is tall.
- 43:55Speaker 1: But he's doing okay. So you're you don't think he's
- 43:59Speaker 1: anywhere or in the in the ballpark of of of
- 44:02Speaker 1: of obesity at two? You mean fat? I mean, I
- 44:06Speaker 1: didn't want to be blunt, but but but miss Cathy,
- 44:09Speaker 1: you're I mean, I mean your son's Let me just say,
- 44:13Speaker 1: on a Sunday, I'm relaxed and we're talking about you
- 44:17Speaker 1: think my son is a little overweight or what he's
- 44:20Speaker 1: what's the problem? Well, I mean I think it's fat,
- 44:25Speaker 1: you know, and and the problem I'm gonna happening. I'm
- 44:28Speaker 1: noticing the records of everything that's wait wait, wait, wait,
- 44:30Speaker 1: we need to back up to you think he's sat.
- 44:33Speaker 1: I've never spoken to you, mister Kirby. Is that what
- 44:35Speaker 1: she said? My name is Kirby. Okay, So every morning
- 44:38Speaker 1: that I dropped him off for a year and I
- 44:40Speaker 1: give my daycare money. Miss Benita has never said anything
- 44:44Speaker 1: about his eating habits. So you're telling me that you
- 44:46Speaker 1: think my son is fat with him, you deal with
- 44:49Speaker 1: him on a daily basis. I don't deal with him
- 44:51Speaker 1: on a daily basis. What I'm looking at is records
- 44:53Speaker 1: that are showing me that he's eating way more than
- 44:56Speaker 1: the rest of anybody at the daycare. And not only that,
- 44:59Speaker 1: he's drinking, and probably a gallon of milk a day,
- 45:02Speaker 1: a gallon of milk. Y'all only get snacks two times
- 45:05Speaker 1: a day, and he's there only for breakfast in lunch.
- 45:08Speaker 1: And how in the hell is he drinking a gallon
- 45:10Speaker 1: of milk? And if he is, ma'am. But all I
- 45:14Speaker 1: know is this, No, no, I'm blown away by this
- 45:16Speaker 1: because you calling me on a Sunday, calling my damn
- 45:18Speaker 1: child fat. That's the problem. And your wife has never
- 45:21Speaker 1: said a damn thing. Never has she said one thing
- 45:25Speaker 1: to me in a year when she collecting my damn
- 45:26Speaker 1: daycare money. She ain't said my son is eating y'all
- 45:29Speaker 1: at a house at home. Okay, Well, you know, my
- 45:31Speaker 1: wife's a different person, and she tries to be cordial
- 45:33Speaker 1: with everyone. He's the one who deals with me, mister Kirby.
- 45:36Speaker 1: I've never met you, never met you. It's all of
- 45:39Speaker 1: a sunday. The reason why I'm calling you on a Sunday, ma'am,
- 45:42Speaker 1: is that I know tomorrow. If you're gonna be trying
- 45:44Speaker 1: to drop your son off, I am gonna drop him off.
- 45:47Speaker 1: I am no. No, that's that's kind of the reason
- 45:49Speaker 1: why I'm calling you. Now. Here's what we mean that
- 45:53Speaker 1: either you can keep him at home. No, I'm not
- 45:55Speaker 1: keeping him at home. My husband works and I work.
- 45:58Speaker 1: I'm dropping my damn son off at six thirty like
- 46:01Speaker 1: I do every morning. Because man, man listening, if we
- 46:05Speaker 1: can't get him, if you really want to get this
- 46:08Speaker 1: on the side, because obviously you ain't the one that
- 46:10Speaker 1: need to be talking to me. Because if you're not
- 46:12Speaker 1: there every day and I did with your wife, I'm
- 46:14Speaker 1: telling you that your son is too big to be
- 46:19Speaker 1: is coming every morning if that's the case, and if
- 46:22Speaker 1: he's eating at a house at home, I'll send him
- 46:24Speaker 1: some extra. But what I pay my money for is
- 46:27Speaker 1: what you're gonna feed him for two full milk and
- 46:30Speaker 1: two snacks, and if he need extra, I'll put some
- 46:33Speaker 1: in his bag. But he's drinking a gallon of milk
- 46:36Speaker 1: a day? Are you looking there? I don't care. There's
- 46:39Speaker 1: no way possible that he can drink a gallon of
- 46:40Speaker 1: milk a day, y'all. Here's here's here's the deal. I
- 46:43Speaker 1: don't want you to have to stop bringing your son now,
- 46:45Speaker 1: and I'm not and I'm not. Here's my second alternative.
- 46:48Speaker 1: I will put him on a diet. Okay, I'll give
- 46:51Speaker 1: him an apple in the day. You ain't, no, damn
- 46:54Speaker 1: you ain't. Are you from the health food program? I will.
- 46:57Speaker 1: I will give him an apple and a glass of
- 46:59Speaker 1: water in the morning, and I'll give him an apple
- 47:00Speaker 1: and a glass of water in the evening, and then
- 47:02Speaker 1: you guys can feed him when he gets home. You
- 47:04Speaker 1: must be certified in the food program, especially if you're
- 47:07Speaker 1: sitting up here telling me my damn son is going
- 47:08Speaker 1: on a diet and he's not drinking no water and
- 47:11Speaker 1: no apple. He needs a full snack. If the other
- 47:15Speaker 1: kids is having an apple, no water, then that's what
- 47:17Speaker 1: you better be serving him. But if that ain't the case,
- 47:19Speaker 1: in hell, no, he better get the full snack. So
- 47:21Speaker 1: if that's Graham crackers an apple juice, well, damn it,
- 47:23Speaker 1: that's what my son better be getting. And if he won't, astra,
- 47:25Speaker 1: he better get it. Listen, all I'm trying to tell
- 47:28Speaker 1: you is your son drink two months drinks? Oh whoa, whoa, whoa?
- 47:34Speaker 1: You need to back the top. I know you did
- 47:36Speaker 1: not cussing me. I know you're ready to cut to me.
- 47:41Speaker 1: Let me tell you what like you ain't got to
- 47:44Speaker 1: worry about it. We don't have nothing else to talking about.
- 47:46Speaker 1: My husband, me, your wife, and everybody that works at
- 47:50Speaker 1: damn daycare better be there in the morning because that's
- 47:52Speaker 1: six thirty. We gonna be there, and my son he's
- 47:55Speaker 1: coming a week and he gonna eat all week. If
- 48:00Speaker 1: he want two gallons of milk, he gonna drink it.
- 48:02Speaker 1: If he want two plates of food, he gonna get it.
- 48:05Speaker 1: Because I tell you what, we pay them good money
- 48:08Speaker 1: to come to that daycare. So you're gonna bring your
- 48:11Speaker 1: child up there that I'm gonna have to put him
- 48:13Speaker 1: on some swim fast. Now I will put your child
- 48:16Speaker 1: on swim fast. I was trying not to give him
- 48:18Speaker 1: to subspected, but I will ask give him some slim fast,
- 48:21Speaker 1: and you're gonna get a slim fast swooping. I'm gonna
- 48:24Speaker 1: whop y'all that whoever gave it to him, whoever gave
- 48:27Speaker 1: it to him, they gonna get a slim fast shipping.
- 48:29Speaker 1: All the little kids gona have some slimpass if he
- 48:31Speaker 1: getting some. He better eat whatever they eat. And if
- 48:34Speaker 1: they eat steak with damn it, he better have some too.
- 48:36Speaker 1: If we had steak, he'd probably eat the whole Damn
- 48:38Speaker 1: cof he eatn't care I pay for it, but he
- 48:41Speaker 1: been like getting up slimp fast. I will shut it
- 48:44Speaker 1: down about my child. Okay, I got something else you
- 48:47Speaker 1: need to know about your son. What the else do
- 48:50Speaker 1: I need to know? Besides you think my son is overweight?
- 48:54Speaker 1: What the elf can you tell me today? I need
- 48:56Speaker 1: to tell you this. I need to tell you that.
- 48:59Speaker 1: This is if you Tammy from the Steve Harvey Morning Show,
- 49:02Speaker 1: your girlfriend Lucretia got me to prank call you. What
- 49:08Speaker 1: did you just say? What did you just say? This
- 49:13Speaker 1: is Nephew Timmy from the Steve Harvey Morning Tell your
- 49:16Speaker 1: girlfriend Lucretia got me to frank phone call you. I'm
- 49:21Speaker 1: gonna be sad to that she knows. I don't play
- 49:26Speaker 1: about my damn son at all. That's my only son.

- 51:16Speaker 1: a straw very left. Thank you, junior subject. I left
- 51:20Speaker 1: in the middle of the night. Dear Stephen Shirley, I
- 51:24Speaker 1: need your honest advice here because I don't know how
- 51:27Speaker 1: to handle this situation. I'm in my late forties and
- 51:30Speaker 1: in a good relationship with a man my age. We
- 51:33Speaker 1: are well above the age of foolishness, but recently we
- 51:36Speaker 1: had a big disagreement. I was staying at his house
- 51:40Speaker 1: the other night and I got a call from my
- 51:42Speaker 1: ex husband, who I still consider a friend. My ex
- 51:46Speaker 1: husband is still single and he lives alone, so when
- 51:50Speaker 1: he called me at two thirty am, I figured there
- 51:53Speaker 1: had to be something serious going on and I needed
- 51:56Speaker 1: to go and see about him. So I got up
- 52:00Speaker 1: and was leaving to go help my ex husband. My
- 52:03Speaker 1: boyfriend got very upset with me, and we got into
- 52:06Speaker 1: a huge argument about it. I don't understand what the
- 52:09Speaker 1: big deal is. I would help anybody. I may have
- 52:12Speaker 1: shared too many details about my friendship with my ex husband,
- 52:15Speaker 1: and I probably shouldn't have told him that my ex
- 52:18Speaker 1: still has me listed as a beneficiary on his life
- 52:20Speaker 1: insurance policy. Surely my man doesn't think I still want
- 52:24Speaker 1: my ex husband or vice versa. My man said he
- 52:28Speaker 1: was only angry because it was a safety issue for
- 52:30Speaker 1: me to leave at two thirty. But I know it's
- 52:33Speaker 1: deeper than that. So now I'm second guessing everything. Maybe
- 52:37Speaker 1: I should have even maybe I shouldn't have even answered
- 52:39Speaker 1: the late night phone call. Was I'm not supposed to
- 52:42Speaker 1: go help my ex? What do you think please help? Okay?
- 52:46Speaker 1: After he called at two thirty am and you ran
- 52:49Speaker 1: off to as you say, go see about him. Yes,
- 52:54Speaker 1: your man definitely thinks you guys have something going on okay,
- 52:58Speaker 1: and that you guys still want each other. I mean,
- 53:00Speaker 1: who does this? I don't get it. Who does that?
- 53:03Speaker 1: Did your ex say something was wrong or seriously going on?
- 53:07Speaker 1: Like you say in the letter? I'll ask it this way.
- 53:10Speaker 1: What man is going to sit back and be okay
- 53:13Speaker 1: with his woman running to another man at two thirty
- 53:16Speaker 1: in the morning. How does this make sense to you?
- 53:19Speaker 1: This is a man who happens to be your ex husband.
- 53:22Speaker 1: I mean, does this really sound reasonable to you? He
- 53:25Speaker 1: may have said that it was a safety issue with you,
- 53:28Speaker 1: but it was way more than that, and probably that too.
- 53:31Speaker 1: As a matter of fact, if it was a safety issue,
- 53:34Speaker 1: if he thought he should have gone along with you,
- 53:36Speaker 1: I can guarantee you he's not upset about you and
- 53:39Speaker 1: the life insurance thing. That's not anything for him to
- 53:43Speaker 1: be worried about, because that's a good thing. It's about
- 53:46Speaker 1: you getting up out of that bed and going over
- 53:49Speaker 1: to your ex's house. That's it. That's all. Let me
- 53:52Speaker 1: ask you this, what if you were what were you
- 53:55Speaker 1: going to do for your ex? Did he say he never?
- 53:58Speaker 1: You never said what it was. You just never said
- 54:03Speaker 1: you never said what it was? Help him do? What
- 54:06Speaker 1: I mean? Couldn't it wait until later in the morning?
- 54:09Speaker 1: Otherwise it just sounds like a booty call. That's it.
- 54:12Speaker 1: I don't see how you don't see that. You're right.
- 54:15Speaker 1: You shouldn't have answered the phone when you saw it
- 54:18Speaker 1: was your ex husband. You shouldn't have gone over there.
- 54:21Speaker 1: It could have waited whatever was Your man is right
- 54:23Speaker 1: to be mad. If he was at your house and
- 54:27Speaker 1: a woman called him at two thirty in the morning,
- 54:28Speaker 1: he got up to go see her, how would you feel.
- 54:31Speaker 1: You would be mad just like he is. So I
- 54:34Speaker 1: know you'd be highly upset and have a major attitude. Okay,
- 54:38Speaker 1: So you were wrong. You should have stayed there and
- 54:41Speaker 1: not answered the call. Okay, And you're gonna have to
- 54:44Speaker 1: deal with this because your man, hopefully he'll forgive you.
- 54:46Speaker 1: But I don't know, Steve. I can't believe this is
- 54:51Speaker 1: written by a woman who's grown. I left in the
- 54:55Speaker 1: middle of the night. The name of this letter should
- 54:58Speaker 1: be high stood this sound to you, that's the title
- 55:03Speaker 1: of this letter. Let's change this letter. How stupid this
- 55:07Speaker 1: sound to you, Shirley. I need your honest advice, and Steve, yeah,
- 55:12Speaker 1: I'm glad you. I'm glad you said honest advice because
- 55:15Speaker 1: I want to hell you fitting get him, because I
- 55:18Speaker 1: don't know how to handle this situation. I remember late parties.
- 55:22Speaker 1: Get a good relationship with a man my age. We
- 55:26Speaker 1: above the age of foolishness. No, no, no, stop right there,
- 55:29Speaker 1: he is above the foolish You all up in foolishness.
- 55:36Speaker 1: But recently we had a big disagreement. I was standing
- 55:39Speaker 1: at this house the other night. I got a call
- 55:41Speaker 1: from my ex husband, who I still consider a fred.
- 55:45Speaker 1: Problem number one, my ex husband is still single. Problem
- 55:50Speaker 1: number two, what's the little noise that's putting on the
- 55:52Speaker 1: brake and he lives alone? That's problem number three. So
- 55:57Speaker 1: he called me a two thirds am. I figured there
- 56:01Speaker 1: had to be something serious going on. And I needed
- 56:03Speaker 1: to go see about him, so I got up and
- 56:06Speaker 1: was leaving to help my ex husband. The hell is
- 56:09Speaker 1: wrong with you? Let's go back to the title that
- 56:11Speaker 1: I want to call this letter. How stupid this sound
- 56:15Speaker 1: to you? We're laying in bed, phone rang, It's two thirty.
- 56:22Speaker 1: You figure something seriously got to be wrong. So you
- 56:27Speaker 1: sits up, You gets dressed, and you're going to see
- 56:30Speaker 1: about your ex husband too. Fanny and him phone calls.
- 56:38Speaker 1: It's prime booty time. One more time, Prime booty time.
- 56:47Speaker 1: Matter of fact, you're on the back end of a
- 56:49Speaker 1: booty call two thirty late. The booty is in the
- 56:55Speaker 1: process of having already answered the call. Wow, we're showering
- 57:01Speaker 1: about now? This rist all usually the big rist All.
- 57:09Speaker 1: We'll be back with the rest of this to hell
- 57:11Speaker 1: you talking about? We'll have part two of Steve's response
- 57:15Speaker 1: coming going right at twenty three after the hour left
- 57:19Speaker 1: in the middle of the night. Or how stupid does
- 57:21Speaker 1: this sound to you? You're listening to show? All right,
- 57:27Speaker 1: come on, Steve, part two of your response to today.
- 57:30Speaker 1: This woman got a booty call at two thirty in
- 57:32Speaker 1: the morning, her laying next to her new boyfriend. It's
- 57:35Speaker 1: her ex husband who is single and lives alone, and
- 57:39Speaker 1: you figured something had to be seriously wrong in two
- 57:41Speaker 1: thirty in the morning, So you gets up to leading
- 57:44Speaker 1: now yo, yo, her boyfriend, man, what are you posted me?
- 57:48Speaker 1: You're getting up to answer? What is? We all know
- 57:51Speaker 1: is a booty call? Shirley know that? So why are
- 57:56Speaker 1: we sitting up here trying to act like this ain't
- 57:59Speaker 1: what it need? My boyfriend got very upset with me.
- 58:03Speaker 1: We got into a huge argument about it. I don't
- 58:05Speaker 1: understand what the big deal is. I would help anybody.
- 58:08Speaker 1: Oh so now you're tricking. Oh, you would help anybody.
- 58:16Speaker 1: So anybody that calls at two thirty you willing to
- 58:19Speaker 1: get up in help. Let me explain something to you. Lady,
- 58:22Speaker 1: I'm sixty one. Let me just dig off in my
- 58:25Speaker 1: past a little bit. Help. I didn't call a lot
- 58:28Speaker 1: of women at tooth thirty anymore and said, it ain't
- 58:33Speaker 1: ever been nothing wrong, you haven't been sick, or it's
- 58:39Speaker 1: not an emergency, not a tooth if I call you
- 58:46Speaker 1: a toothy. The only thing wrong with me is I'm
- 58:51Speaker 1: lonely and I just need to be I need some
- 59:01Speaker 1: I need somebody to put me to sleep. I'm suffering
- 59:06Speaker 1: from in something I can't go to sleep. And you
- 59:09Speaker 1: could be the bigg ass peel come rock a bye
- 59:14Speaker 1: baby in the tree talking come on, come and put
- 59:20Speaker 1: me to sleep. But it took that in the moaning
- 59:25Speaker 1: what a man called a woman. Something's going old. Someone's
- 59:31Speaker 1: on the phone three o'clock in the moaning yail talking
- 59:37Speaker 1: about he can't make it right? Did you hear me
- 59:44Speaker 1: al Green saying about this? Now hear you answering it,
- 59:49Speaker 1: trying to figure out what the hell he mad about?
- 59:51Speaker 1: Because al Green is at your house? Yeah? Right, my
- 59:57Speaker 1: friendship I have shared, I would help anybody. I may
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: have shared too many details about my friendship with my
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: ex husband, So now you're running your mouth too, Okay,
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: And I probably shouldn't have told him my ex still
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: has me listed as a beneficiary on his life insureance policy.
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: Oh well, maybe that was it. Maybe you were going
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: over there and make sure you still well. But see,
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: but in order to make sure you the beneficiary, you
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: got to provide benefits. See you get the beneficial, you
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: got to be the benefited. You understand, see that one
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: I'm talking about. Surely, surely my man doesn't think I
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: still want my ex husband or vice versa. Why would
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: you now heither put you on the policy? This heiter
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: impitied me a sugar daddy. I'm your sugar daddy now
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: and when I'm gonna hello hello. This a matter of fact,
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: your ex husband falls into the category a super sugar day.
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: And see so now, if you got a sugar daddy,
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: that's a super sugar daddy that can provide sugar, living
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: and gold. You got to get over there and provide
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: benefit so you can be remained the beneficial area. That's
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: what you need to do now. My man said he
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: was only angry because it was a safety issue for
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: me to leave in two thirty. Your damn writer was
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: a safety issue for you to leave in two thirty.

- 1:05:35Speaker 1: you're driving it and you mutter to yourself that damn house.

- 1:05:51Speaker 1: turn and it's a no exit. It's you. You right
- 1:05:56Speaker 1: in the coach circle. This is when you know you
- 1:06:04Speaker 1: anytime you got to put your car in reverse and
- 1:06:07Speaker 1: look over your shoulder all the way back when you
- 1:06:19Speaker 1: ride and you see one store and get out and

- 1:07:11Speaker 1: We have a couple of questions for you. As promised.
- 1:07:14Speaker 1: This segment is called how old were you? Win? How
- 1:07:17Speaker 1: old were you when you had your first kiss? Let's say, no,
- 1:07:20Speaker 1: gwyen hass did that to me? Hu? I didn't want it?
- 1:07:26Speaker 1: What do you mean? You were traumatized? She made me
- 1:07:28Speaker 1: do it. She snatched me off my bike. She stayed
- 1:07:30Speaker 1: across the street. She was a big girl. She pulled
- 1:07:32Speaker 1: me out off the bike and threw me up against
- 1:07:34Speaker 1: the tree and kissed me real hard. And then what No,
- 1:07:38Speaker 1: I just felt violent. I didn't I didn't cry, number,
- 1:07:43Speaker 1: it was just traumatized. She was big. She was actually
- 1:07:46Speaker 1: on my TV show. Yeah I remember, I remember saying
- 1:07:49Speaker 1: they found her and they found Gwyen Harris and then
- 1:07:52Speaker 1: she came on TV and telling my yea, I ain't
- 1:07:54Speaker 1: mak you you want it. I'm looking at just a
- 1:07:59Speaker 1: damn long Yeah, they say that old TV. Though I

- 1:08:10Speaker 1: at a mama's funeral. Man. It might have been nineteen
- 1:08:13Speaker 1: and you had no idea she was going to be
- 1:08:15Speaker 1: on the stand, no idea. Wow wow. And my first
- 1:08:18Speaker 1: kiss was on my talk show Wow. And it was
- 1:08:20Speaker 1: not a kiss. It was not memorable. It very forceful.
- 1:08:24Speaker 1: She was stronger than she was handling my Lila. My
- 1:08:28Speaker 1: lit lab would just get But were you in the
- 1:08:31Speaker 1: in the were you at that age where you liked
- 1:08:33Speaker 1: girls you started to start. I never went through the
- 1:08:37Speaker 1: phrase where I didn't like girls. Okay, I like girls
- 1:08:39Speaker 1: in kindergarten. Ok yeah, I had the girl on my show.
- 1:08:45Speaker 1: But the first girl I ever walked home. I walked
- 1:08:48Speaker 1: her home in the sixth grade and carried her book
- 1:08:50Speaker 1: for to reas the shepherd. You remember their name everything.
- 1:08:56Speaker 1: Michelle Hawkins. Michelle Hawkers was in high school with me
- 1:09:00Speaker 1: when I was walking and playing I want to go
- 1:09:02Speaker 1: outside in the rain in the cafeteria and she wouldn't
- 1:09:05Speaker 1: give me a date, and that song was on. And
- 1:09:08Speaker 1: that's why that song go Outside means so much to me. Yeah,
- 1:09:12Speaker 1: go out. She was on my show too, And when
- 1:09:15Speaker 1: they all came out, I named every last one of Wow. Wow.
- 1:09:18Speaker 1: That really threw a moment. I'm sure they remembered. You
- 1:09:21Speaker 1: excuse me his name? What? What did you just say?
- 1:09:25Speaker 1: Don't try to help him, junior? He just definitely said it.
- 1:09:32Speaker 1: You don't never learn. He was voted that he was
- 1:09:36Speaker 1: voted most difficult in high school. Let's just move on. Yes, Yes,
- 1:09:46Speaker 1: how old were you? How old were you when you
- 1:09:48Speaker 1: heard your first Earth winning fire song? And now that's
- 1:09:50Speaker 1: your favorite group? Seventeen might have been sixteen sixteen when
- 1:09:56Speaker 1: I heard the first ever win in five songs. Seventeen
- 1:10:00Speaker 1: when I bought my first Heard winning five album? Wow,
- 1:10:03Speaker 1: and what was the song? The first song I heard
- 1:10:06Speaker 1: was Head to the Sky? Oh yeah, that was off
- 1:10:08Speaker 1: the Head to the Sky album. But my favorite song
- 1:10:11Speaker 1: on that album was Masquerade? Can this is what that
- 1:10:19Speaker 1: boy beal? Masquerade? I want to know all we what
- 1:10:27Speaker 1: we really see? All the outoodside and hiding what we

- 1:13:13Speaker 1: murder another one. Well, you know what somebody told me,
- 1:13:18Speaker 1: family feud. I don't know where you got that man

- 1:13:31Speaker 1: that's what he said, right, So what's the list? The
- 1:13:33Speaker 1: list will probably get longer today. We're gonna put the
- 1:13:36Speaker 1: Kirk Franklin's name on the list. Oh my god, you
- 1:13:39Speaker 1: mean what get out? Come on? Alright? Alright, every damp

- 1:14:36Speaker 1: not sure watching Franklin sing my little Man is getting
- 1:14:51Speaker 1: studio was a getting in. You don't show u another session.
- 1:14:59Speaker 1: He You've been running around shopping up and down every
- 1:15:02Speaker 1: song that's shopping, every change he holds it. He cannot see.

- 1:15:58Speaker 1: to me? You got all the talented people on your show.
- 1:16:03Speaker 1: You're listening all right? Here we are, last break of
- 1:16:08Speaker 1: the day. What an exciting morning it has been today, Steve,
- 1:16:11Speaker 1: and take us home with someone closing remarks? Please. You
- 1:16:14Speaker 1: know a lot of people graduate this year from high
- 1:16:17Speaker 1: school from college. I see the kids everywhere going out
- 1:16:21Speaker 1: and joining their proms and celebrations. I've seen a lot
- 1:16:25Speaker 1: of photos of caps getting thrown in and robes and
- 1:16:29Speaker 1: parents standing around crying and great moments for young people.
- 1:16:34Speaker 1: I want to say something to young people today. Um,
- 1:16:39Speaker 1: I'm often asked what would I say to my eighteen
- 1:16:48Speaker 1: or twenty one year old self if I knew the
- 1:16:52Speaker 1: things I know now. I get often asked that question.
- 1:16:56Speaker 1: And because my youngest is turning twenty one this month,
- 1:17:01Speaker 1: and that's all my kids will now be over twenty
- 1:17:05Speaker 1: one years old, I think one of the things that
- 1:17:08Speaker 1: I've tried to impress upon them was two things. Follow
- 1:17:15Speaker 1: your dreams and keep your foot on the gas pedal.
- 1:17:22Speaker 1: Follow your dreams and keep your foot on the gas pedal.
- 1:17:29Speaker 1: You know, so many times young people take this opportunity
- 1:17:34Speaker 1: to graduate to just start on this party run. And
- 1:17:40Speaker 1: I can't really, I can't really knock that. You know,
- 1:17:43Speaker 1: you should celebrate the fact that you finally out of
- 1:17:47Speaker 1: high school, that you finally out of college. You should
- 1:17:49Speaker 1: have a celebration. But I got news for you. At
- 1:17:52Speaker 1: celebration ought to be brief. That whole summer you talking
- 1:17:57Speaker 1: about doing a lot of that's gonna be wasted valuable time,
- 1:18:02Speaker 1: wasted valuable time. And you get it's a funny thing, man,
- 1:18:08Speaker 1: It only takes thirty days to be a form of habit.
- 1:18:12Speaker 1: So if you get into this party mode for the
- 1:18:16Speaker 1: ninety days of summer, you could potentially be developed in
- 1:18:20Speaker 1: a habit that you don't need. And so you find
- 1:18:24Speaker 1: yourself not so much taking care of business when September
- 1:18:27Speaker 1: get here, because you're still in party mode. I have
- 1:18:30Speaker 1: tried to express upon the young people in my life,
- 1:18:33Speaker 1: keep your foot on the gas pedal. Don't blow your twenties.
- 1:18:37Speaker 1: Your twenties ain't the party time. Your twenties should be
- 1:18:41Speaker 1: part of the grind time. Let me tell you something, man,
- 1:18:46Speaker 1: what most people do is what I did. I blew
- 1:18:49Speaker 1: my twenties. I just blew them. Next thing I knew,
- 1:18:53Speaker 1: I was in my thirties, and I spent all of
- 1:18:55Speaker 1: my thirties fixing everything I was supposed to do. When
- 1:18:57Speaker 1: I was twenty, and I looked up and I was four,
- 1:19:00Speaker 1: and all of a sudden, I was trying to be
- 1:19:02Speaker 1: in my forties everything that I could have been in
- 1:19:04Speaker 1: my thirties. And then I looked up one day and
- 1:19:07Speaker 1: I was fifty, and I was finally putting it together.
- 1:19:10Speaker 1: But lord, ha mercy, I look back, I said, Man,
- 1:19:12Speaker 1: I could have had it together. I could have saved
- 1:19:15Speaker 1: myself a lot of time had I just kept my
- 1:19:18Speaker 1: foot on the gas. Stop looking for ways to be
- 1:19:22Speaker 1: s stop looking for ways to chill and relax, find
- 1:19:27Speaker 1: ways to maximize your time and effort to make them
- 1:19:30Speaker 1: count for something. Because your future, I got news for you,
- 1:19:34Speaker 1: is coming and everything you do today is going to
- 1:19:38Speaker 1: affect those days that's coming called the future. So what
- 1:19:42Speaker 1: you're doing today is going to affect your tomorrow. You
- 1:19:44Speaker 1: can believe that. So if you ain't got your foot
- 1:19:46Speaker 1: on the gas, it's gonna show up tomorrow. I promise
- 1:19:49Speaker 1: you it will. It's just the way it works. And
- 1:19:52Speaker 1: the second thing I tell my young people, follow your dreams.
- 1:19:57Speaker 1: Chase them dreams. Man. But is the good news. God
- 1:20:01Speaker 1: is in to make your dream come true. Business. And
- 1:20:04Speaker 1: I don't care what age you are. God is in
- 1:20:07Speaker 1: to make your dream come true. Business. God is in
- 1:20:11Speaker 1: the delivery business. He's in the forgiving business. He's in
- 1:20:16Speaker 1: to get your life together business. He's in to pick
- 1:20:19Speaker 1: you up and dust you off business. He's in the
- 1:20:22Speaker 1: come on, let's go forward business. That's the business he's in.
- 1:20:27Speaker 1: But he can't put you in the business unless you're
- 1:20:30Speaker 1: already in it. You make one step, he'll make two.
- 1:20:34Speaker 1: He will not make all the steps for you. You
- 1:20:38Speaker 1: gotta do some of this yourself. You gotta try something.
- 1:20:41Speaker 1: God will put his finger on it and bless it,
- 1:20:43Speaker 1: but he gotta have something to put his finger on.
- 1:20:46Speaker 1: He just can't seeing blessings to your house and you
- 1:20:49Speaker 1: sit there just opening up boxes. But you ain't paid
- 1:20:52Speaker 1: for nothing. You ain't ordered nothing on Amazon. Boxes don't
- 1:20:56Speaker 1: come to your house unless you make an order. If
- 1:20:59Speaker 1: you want to big box at the house, you got
- 1:21:01Speaker 1: to make an order. It's some things you gotta do
- 1:21:03Speaker 1: to get packages to the house, don't you agree. Well,
- 1:21:06Speaker 1: that's the same thing with a blessing. If you want
- 1:21:08Speaker 1: more blessings to come your way, you gotta do more
- 1:21:11Speaker 1: things to get blessed. It's just a real common sense thing.
- 1:21:15Speaker 1: Follow your dreams and take your don't take your foot
- 1:21:18Speaker 1: off that gas pedal. Quit being what everybody else wants
- 1:21:21Speaker 1: you to be. Your mom and them don't know everything,
- 1:21:25Speaker 1: pegging you to be a lawyer. You know how many
- 1:21:27Speaker 1: lawyers I know out of that profession because they got
- 1:21:30Speaker 1: talked into it, and then they find out later a man,
- 1:21:33Speaker 1: that it don't make them happy, that it don't make
- 1:21:35Speaker 1: their heart beat, that they realize, man, I want to
- 1:21:37Speaker 1: do something that I'm not only gifted at, but I'm
- 1:21:40Speaker 1: passionate about. You better start thinking about that, because you
- 1:21:44Speaker 1: only got one time to go around these this track hill.
- 1:21:48Speaker 1: Follow your dreams because God is in to make your
- 1:21:52Speaker 1: dream come true. Business And once you decide what your
- 1:21:56Speaker 1: dream is, don't take your foot off the gas because
- 1:21:59Speaker 1: you do, I and so many others have done. I
- 1:22:02Speaker 1: blew all my twenties, all of them. Spent all of
- 1:22:08Speaker 1: my thirties fixing what I had messed up in my twenties.
- 1:22:14Speaker 1: Next thing I knew, I was forty. Now, all of
- 1:22:17Speaker 1: a sudden, I'm trying to be what I should have
- 1:22:18Speaker 1: already been in my thirties. And then I looked up
- 1:22:22Speaker 1: and I was fifty and I had it together. But
- 1:22:25Speaker 1: I looked back and I went, man, I blew so
- 1:22:27Speaker 1: much time. So those are the two things I would
- 1:22:30Speaker 1: say to young people. If I could say to the
- 1:22:32Speaker 1: eighteen and the twenty one year old Steve Harvey, this
- 1:22:35Speaker 1: is what I would say to me, and I'm saying
- 1:22:37Speaker 1: it to you. That's my advice to you. I ain't
- 1:22:41Speaker 1: talking down to you. I'm just telling you the truth. Y'all.
