- 1:10Speaker 7: You gotta turn, got to turn the mouth turn. You
- 1:43Speaker 7: probably got to turn the mouth.
- 1:47Speaker 4: Water the money up? Come come on you're thinking that.
- 2:00Speaker 8: Uh huh, I sure will.
- 2:03Speaker 9: Good morning everybody. You are listening to the voice, Come on,
- 2:08Speaker 9: dig me now.
- 2:09Speaker 2: One and only.
- 2:10Speaker 9: Steve Harvey got a radio show. I say it every
- 2:13Speaker 9: day because God been good to me. God has done
- 2:16Speaker 9: some things in my life that's truly been just amazing.
- 2:20Speaker 9: It really amazing. Ain't even really the word. They don't
- 2:23Speaker 9: really have a word for what He's done for me.
- 2:25Speaker 9: I'm just out of superlatives. That's why I say it
- 2:28Speaker 9: every day. Steve Harvey got a radio show because God
- 2:30Speaker 9: is in a blessing business.
- 2:32Speaker 2: Yeah he is. God.
- 2:33Speaker 9: God can help you turn your life around. Did you
- 2:37Speaker 9: hear me? God can help you turn your life around.
- 2:40Speaker 9: Whatever you're going through. God has an answer for it.
- 2:44Speaker 9: See but it's to going through to get some store,
- 2:46Speaker 9: ain't it. Because I was having a moment yesterday and
- 2:49Speaker 9: I set my wife down. I said, Babe, I just
- 2:51Speaker 9: need to talk to you, going through a little bit
- 2:53Speaker 9: right now. I just wanted to share which I'm a
- 2:55Speaker 9: little down right now. And my wife reminded me, just
- 3:00Speaker 9: reminded me. Just see, this is what a man. That's
- 3:02Speaker 9: what a good mate does. A good mate reminds you
- 3:08Speaker 9: just of things that sometimes you forget when you get
- 3:11Speaker 9: off track. Because you know, I consider myself a motivational
- 3:16Speaker 9: type person. I try to listen to people and then
- 3:19Speaker 9: give them something I've learned along the way on this
- 3:22Speaker 9: journey I've been on. I try to give a person
- 3:24Speaker 9: a takeaway. But even being that person, sometimes I get
- 3:28Speaker 9: off track myself. I get a little low sometimes, you know,
- 3:33Speaker 9: I get a little down. Sometimes I sometimes I forget
- 3:36Speaker 9: some of the stuff I say.
- 3:38Speaker 2: And it ain't that I forget it. I guess I
- 3:41Speaker 2: just get caught up in.
- 3:42Speaker 9: The grind of doing it and sometimes I get I
- 3:46Speaker 9: get a little off course and I forget some of
- 3:49Speaker 9: the things that my wife or a mate can be
- 3:52Speaker 9: good for you to remind you. And she just says, Steve,
- 3:56Speaker 9: God got us. She said, have you ever known noticed
- 4:00Speaker 9: that every time you get in a spot? And she say,
- 4:03Speaker 9: and I know how you must feel, because you're out
- 4:05Speaker 9: here working and you keep.
- 4:08Speaker 2: Turning around and.
- 4:10Speaker 9: Old stuff keep popping up, and you get a call
- 4:13Speaker 9: from your accounting and hear this then went wrong, and
- 4:15Speaker 9: that then when you study trying to fix it.
- 4:18Speaker 2: But you steady going wild? Man, what is it? She say?
- 4:20Speaker 9: But you ever notice He always always, no matter what,
- 4:25Speaker 9: provide a way, and he ain't ever too late, or
- 4:28Speaker 9: you might be going the deadline is approaching. The deadline
- 4:32Speaker 9: can come and pass, but then they have a grace
- 4:35Speaker 9: period for you. And then sometimes man, it's just you
- 4:39Speaker 9: go down there after the grace period and they take
- 4:41Speaker 9: the payment anyway, and you're good anyway. But see, ain't
- 4:44Speaker 9: that God bringing you through it. It may not be
- 4:47Speaker 9: when you want it, but he right on time. Jazz
- 4:50Speaker 9: before you get put out, jazz before they turn maybe
- 4:53Speaker 9: they cut the lights off, but you get it back
- 4:55Speaker 9: ones faux company come or just before the weekend, get here.
- 4:59Speaker 9: See he always comes through for you. And she had
- 5:03Speaker 9: to remind me of that what you going through is necessary. Look,
- 5:09Speaker 9: circumstance and hardships and pitfalls are always untimely. If you
- 5:14Speaker 9: keep the law of attraction in play, if you keep
- 5:17Speaker 9: believing that that's that He gonna see you through this,
- 5:21Speaker 9: just like he do when you don't believe it.
- 5:23Speaker 2: That's what the old part is, though, ain't it.
- 5:26Speaker 9: Ain't God brought you through even when you didn't really
- 5:30Speaker 9: have the faith to say he was gonna bring you through.
- 5:33Speaker 9: But because of grace and mercy he brought you through anyway.
- 5:36Speaker 9: But because you forgot to thank him or you didn't
- 5:40Speaker 9: pay attention through to come through, you just was telling people, Oh, man,
- 5:43Speaker 9: if you the same. It was so jacked up. Man,
- 5:46Speaker 9: I was so turned up. I ain't know what I
- 5:48Speaker 9: was gonna do. I almost got put out. I was
- 5:50Speaker 9: gonna see key word almost, And you forgot that part
- 5:54Speaker 9: right there, and then I was it looked like I wan man,
- 5:56Speaker 9: And and it seemed like every month I go through
- 5:59Speaker 9: this same thing and then down.
- 6:01Speaker 2: Yeah. Then somebody ought to just say, did you pay it? Yeah?
- 6:04Speaker 2: I paid it? Did you get put out?
- 6:06Speaker 8: Now?
- 6:06Speaker 2: I'm cool?
- 6:07Speaker 9: See See, you need somebody on your shoulder to say
- 6:10Speaker 9: that to you, and then you need somebody to come
- 6:12Speaker 9: right behind him and go, man, ain't God good?
- 6:16Speaker 2: Really? Man? That that's how this works.
- 6:19Speaker 9: See, you keep getting in situations, but he keep getting
- 6:23Speaker 9: you out now if you jump, look, listen to me,
- 6:25Speaker 9: hold on, hold on. Let's say you in a frying
- 6:28Speaker 9: pad in the skillet and the oil is up and
- 6:31Speaker 9: you in that frying and you uncomfortable being fried.
- 6:35Speaker 1: God somehow.
- 6:37Speaker 2: Or let's just.
- 6:38Speaker 9: Say you managed to get out of the hot grease
- 6:41Speaker 9: in the frying pan, and you standing there next to
- 6:44Speaker 9: the skillet looking at the fire continue to heat the grease,
- 6:48Speaker 9: you get out, and then for some unexplainable reason, you
- 6:53Speaker 9: dives right on back in there.
- 6:56Speaker 2: Ain't that how we usually do it?
- 6:58Speaker 9: I'm just asking you, God, get you away from the
- 7:01Speaker 9: man you've been asking to get away from. Then you
- 7:04Speaker 9: go right back over there and start seeing him again.
- 7:08Speaker 9: It's amazing how many times God get us out the
- 7:12Speaker 9: fire and we walked right back in there.
- 7:15Speaker 2: Ain't it amazing? Man?
- 7:17Speaker 9: I mean, really, man, see this how I break life
- 7:20Speaker 9: down for me so I don't get over here stuck on,
- 7:22Speaker 9: stupid with myself and then get to doing something ignorant
- 7:25Speaker 9: like blaming God, when really, man, God has given us,
- 7:28Speaker 9: as human beings, the power of decision, and we all
- 7:31Speaker 9: make decisions.
- 7:32Speaker 2: How many times? Man?
- 7:34Speaker 9: See, sometimes it's a blessing In getting locked up, You
- 7:36Speaker 9: can ask a lot of cats. I know, man to
- 7:38Speaker 9: tell you it was a blessing for me, man, because
- 7:40Speaker 9: I was just headed the wrong way steady, but he
- 7:43Speaker 9: locked me up, set me down, made me miss my family.
- 7:48Speaker 9: Being out here, being a free man, made me realize
- 7:51Speaker 9: that my family was important, made me.
- 7:53Speaker 2: Man, really see this girl for what she was. When
- 7:55Speaker 2: I get out, Man.
- 7:57Speaker 9: I'm on a straight and narrow Well then when you
- 7:59Speaker 9: get out, see, you can't be talking about no oh man,
- 8:03Speaker 9: I can't find no job. Now I'm gonna go and
- 8:05Speaker 9: do what I gotta do. No, no, no, no, no, partner,
- 8:08Speaker 9: you got to do now what you're supposed to do.
- 8:10Speaker 9: See that don't do what you gotta do got you
- 8:13Speaker 9: in trouble in the first place. See everybody, see see
- 8:16Speaker 9: the hood got a lot of ignorant rules. We done
- 8:18Speaker 9: create it. I gotta do what I gotta do. I
- 8:20Speaker 9: gotta feed my family. Well, the only reason you gotta
- 8:22Speaker 9: do what you gotta do is because you didn't do
- 8:25Speaker 9: what you were supposed to do. See if you just
- 8:27Speaker 9: went on to school like you Mama kept telling you.
- 8:30Speaker 9: Ah Man, I was watching forty eight Hours yesterday and
- 8:33Speaker 9: the dude named Nesto was on that, and Nesto Latino
- 8:36Speaker 9: dude said, Man, my mother told me quit hanging with
- 8:39Speaker 9: these guys. They were gonna nothing but trouble. I should
- 8:42Speaker 9: have listened to her. He doing thirty years right now.
- 8:46Speaker 9: You can't blame God. That's why I talk to myself
- 8:49Speaker 9: this way, so I don't get stupid and start shifting
- 8:52Speaker 9: to blame the wrong way when it's really on me.
- 8:55Speaker 9: How many times has God got you out of something
- 8:58Speaker 9: and you walk right back into it? Man, why don't
- 9:01Speaker 9: you take these blessings God give you and go on
- 9:03Speaker 9: about your business. That'd be the best way to do it,
- 9:06Speaker 9: don't you think? That's what I think? So I thank
- 9:11Speaker 9: God my wife for reminding me that God got us anyway,
- 9:15Speaker 9: that God gonna pull you through anyway that. Have you noticed, Steve,
- 9:19Speaker 9: we ain't lost a beat.
- 9:21Speaker 2: Oh. I know it's hard out here, but really you
- 9:23Speaker 2: ain't lost a beat.
- 9:24Speaker 9: You still moving forward, You still dressing nice, You still
- 9:28Speaker 9: look good when you come into that job. Everybody don't
- 9:31Speaker 9: have got to know you. Your house is in bad shape,
- 9:34Speaker 9: and all that God got you. Man, if you just
- 9:37Speaker 9: hold your head up, man, quit complaining all the time
- 9:40Speaker 9: by what you ain't got, and as in words.
- 9:43Speaker 2: Of my daddy, Slick Harvey.
- 9:44Speaker 9: Stop talking about what you ain't got and take a
- 9:46Speaker 9: good look at what you do.
- 9:48Speaker 2: God.
- 9:48Speaker 9: That's improper grammar, but that always stuck with me, and
- 9:51Speaker 9: maybe it'll stick with you.
- 9:52Speaker 2: Quit talk about and looking at what you ain't God,
- 9:55Speaker 2: take a good look at what you do. God.

- 14:21Speaker 1: brank back. Nephew, what you got.
- 14:24Speaker 8: For us relationship wise? Did you take a lot of detectives?
- 14:27Speaker 6: Oh?
- 14:28Speaker 1: I couldn't do that relationship wise.
- 14:30Speaker 2: Now you know what I'm proud of.
- 14:32Speaker 10: Hey on, No, I don't need to tell you what
- 14:39Speaker 10: the hell will take you from already, Lie, don't need
- 14:44Speaker 10: to test to tell me that.

- 14:48Speaker 8: Let's go cut up. Hello, this is doctor Pritcher with Counseling.

- 15:12Speaker 8: She let me know the things that you guys are
- 15:13Speaker 8: going through, and what she's trying to do is get
- 15:16Speaker 8: you to come in and actually take a lot of
- 15:18Speaker 8: detectives test next week. Excuse me, she would like for
- 15:21Speaker 8: you to come in and take a lot of detective

- 15:24Speaker 13: You want me to take a lot? This is what
- 15:27Speaker 13: she said.
- 15:27Speaker 8: This is what Dorothy has agreed upon. This is what
- 15:30Speaker 8: she wants to do, and she thinks it's going to
- 15:31Speaker 8: help the relationship.
- 15:33Speaker 13: I'm all about making a relationship work. But I'm not
- 15:35Speaker 13: taking a lot of tickets. I'm sorry, what's what's what's
- 15:39Speaker 13: the purpose? Well, a lot of I ain't done nothing wrong.
- 15:42Speaker 8: Is there is there anything that you're hiding?
- 15:43Speaker 13: Ken, I'm not hiding anything. But what's the probos of
- 15:47Speaker 13: me taking a lot of take the test if I ain't?
- 15:48Speaker 10: Did?
- 15:49Speaker 2: I mean? This is something who right? Idea? Was this?
- 15:53Speaker 8: This is something that Dorothy wants to and you know,
- 15:56Speaker 8: put within the relationships. She wants you to take a
- 15:58Speaker 8: lot of detective test.
- 15:59Speaker 13: Oh no, I'm taking on about to take it, Bro,
- 16:01Speaker 13: I'm sorry.
- 16:02Speaker 8: I mean I am the one that suggested it to
- 16:04Speaker 8: her because it helps the relationships.
- 16:06Speaker 13: So so so so you suggested to my wife that
- 16:12Speaker 13: I take a lot of ticket tests. Why she's not
- 16:15Speaker 13: taking a lot of take a test?
- 16:17Speaker 8: Ken, I've heard everything that's going on with you guys. Relationship.
- 16:19Speaker 14: No no, no, no no no no no no no.
- 16:22Speaker 13: I'm asking the question, why do I have to take
- 16:25Speaker 13: a lot of texture tests and she does not miss
- 16:28Speaker 13: the counselors.
- 16:29Speaker 8: Would you like for me to have her take a
- 16:31Speaker 8: test as well?
- 16:31Speaker 13: We both need to take a test. That's the case
- 16:33Speaker 13: that I'm not taking this on my own.
- 16:36Speaker 8: Is there anything anything that you've done, Ken that you're
- 16:39Speaker 8: that you don't.
- 16:40Speaker 13: Bro, I haven't done anything. This is this is crazy,
- 16:43Speaker 13: like it doesn't make any sense whatsoever.
- 16:46Speaker 2: I can when when?
- 16:47Speaker 15: When?
- 16:48Speaker 12: When?
- 16:48Speaker 13: When did y'all talk about this?
- 16:49Speaker 8: We had a conversation earlier today.
- 16:51Speaker 13: Today today, sir, I'm gonna have to call her because
- 16:54Speaker 13: this don't make no sense. Well, don't you have to
- 16:56Speaker 13: be a zoom zoom meeting or something? Because she can
- 16:59Speaker 13: not have to take no batter, take the till.
- 17:02Speaker 8: Dorothy wants to start with a clean slate, and and
- 17:04Speaker 8: that's when.
- 17:05Speaker 13: I sai, I'm starting. I'm starting with the what's your
- 17:08Speaker 13: name again? I don't call you the name. What's your

- 17:12Speaker 13: not taking you will take a lot of text the tests,
- 17:16Speaker 13: but I'm not taking it. I don't need to take
- 17:19Speaker 13: no lot of take the tills.
- 17:20Speaker 2: Okay, but but don't you haven't.
- 17:22Speaker 13: Done anything wrong. But now my past saying is squeaky clean.
- 17:26Speaker 13: But I ain't taking no tap okay.
- 17:28Speaker 8: But now that's now it seems like you have something
- 17:32Speaker 8: to hide.
- 17:32Speaker 13: Can't I'm not hiding nothing, Devin. I know I'm not
- 17:36Speaker 13: taking no lighter take the tests, sir.

- 41:00Speaker 11: Are just king?
- 41:01Speaker 6: Wait to be king?
- 41:05Speaker 1: Coming up at thirty four minutes after be an hour?
- 41:08Speaker 1: How do you handle things when you disagree with your
- 41:11Speaker 1: family about politics? We'll talk about it right after this.
- 41:15Speaker 16: You're listening to the same Harvey Morning Show.
- 41:22Speaker 1: All right, guys, it's summer family reunion time. We all
- 41:25Speaker 1: know things jump off at the family reunion, like dealing
- 41:29Speaker 1: with family members who disagree with you about politics. Now,
- 41:33Speaker 1: this is according to asmen dot com. They say they
- 41:36Speaker 1: give you some suggestions on how to deal with a
- 41:39Speaker 1: spouse or loved one, family member, whatever who has a
- 41:43Speaker 1: different political view. First of all, you got to set boundaries,
- 41:47Speaker 1: all right, set up some ground rules as to when
- 41:50Speaker 1: and wear it's appropriate to have these kinds of conversations.
- 41:54Speaker 1: For instance, Junior, you're at your family reunion. You know,
- 41:57Speaker 1: you guys are starting about the politics talking, are talking
- 42:00Speaker 1: about the political climate. What's gonna you gotta set those
- 42:03Speaker 1: boundaries because what will happen in your family?
- 42:06Speaker 10: Yeah, if you voted for Trump, you can't eat, You
- 42:10Speaker 10: can't That light is over. Yeah, coming in here and
- 42:14Speaker 10: talking about you voted for him and watch you don't
- 42:16Speaker 10: get a play at this family union.
- 42:19Speaker 2: That's easy boundary there through this though.
- 42:23Speaker 1: Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, it's a divide for sure. Uh
- 42:28Speaker 1: what about listening? Like some people tune out when they
- 42:31Speaker 1: start hearing something they don't agree with or want to
- 42:34Speaker 1: be a part of. Don't be so quick to interrupt
- 42:37Speaker 1: and tell them why they're wrong. Just hear them out.
- 42:40Speaker 1: So asthmen dot Com is telling you to hear your
- 42:43Speaker 1: family members out. You guys agree or disagree with that.
- 42:49Speaker 8: Politics. I do especially have family gather That's the last
- 42:52Speaker 8: thing I want to talk about.
- 42:53Speaker 1: You don't want to talk about it? Okay, question.
- 42:58Speaker 3: At the family reunion and you have a relative that
- 43:02Speaker 3: walked up wearing a Trump shirt, make America Great Again?
- 43:06Speaker 3: BURNAG family T shirt, MAGA T shirt? What what's happening?
- 43:12Speaker 8: Offing to bust you in the here with that's nothing
- 43:14Speaker 8: to do. I'm going to bust you in the here
- 43:16Speaker 8: with these baked beans.
- 43:17Speaker 1: If you coming here with you, junior, I mean you can.
- 43:23Speaker 11: You can wear the Trump shirt.
- 43:24Speaker 2: You can wear that. That's your right.
- 43:25Speaker 11: We'll let you express that.
- 43:27Speaker 10: But you're gonna be hungry for eight hours soon.
- 43:30Speaker 11: As you start looking over at the dessert.
- 43:32Speaker 10: Put the sweet potato pie down, James, Why don't you
- 43:36Speaker 10: go get you onet the punky pie.
- 43:37Speaker 11: That's what Trump eating.
- 43:39Speaker 1: You're not eating here.
- 43:40Speaker 11: This this is not gonna happened.
- 43:44Speaker 1: Another thing they suggest, they suggest, Okay, you guys are family, right,
- 43:48Speaker 1: you'll you all share the same bloodline, all of that.
- 43:50Speaker 1: Find some common ground that you guys can basically agree on.
- 43:55Speaker 1: You know, yeah, you know, it gives you a basic
- 43:57Speaker 1: sensive unity and connection.
- 43:59Speaker 10: You think it's soon as you're coming there with the
- 44:06Speaker 10: Trump shirt, want to find some common ground. Soon as
- 44:09Speaker 10: we see the Trump shirt, all the family seper starts
- 44:11Speaker 10: coming out a bout you.
- 44:11Speaker 11: James, ain't really your kids, even.
- 44:17Speaker 10: Your kids, James, You're gonna start telling everything about you.
- 44:21Speaker 1: Family is in agreement, everybody, your real daddy, stay in
- 44:25Speaker 1: texa candle, make your daddy great again.
- 44:34Speaker 11: All that, make your daddy great again?
- 44:42Speaker 1: All right, that comes to common ground. Okay, all right, okay, alright.
- 44:47Speaker 8: You take a lot of nerd coming there with their
- 44:49Speaker 8: shirt on.
- 44:53Speaker 1: I'm surprised though, you guys have kept you really cool
- 44:56Speaker 1: because no fights have broken out yet. No. He said
- 44:59Speaker 1: that they had a shirt and the big beans remember
- 45:04Speaker 1: yeah something but yeah, all right starts yeah, okay, then
- 45:09Speaker 1: a fight will start after that?
- 45:10Speaker 2: All right.
- 45:11Speaker 8: Uh.
- 45:11Speaker 1: The last one is knowing when it's time to move on. Okay,
- 45:15Speaker 1: can we just move on? Things have gotten a little heated.
- 45:18Speaker 1: You know, if you're smart, you'll know when it's time
- 45:21Speaker 1: to take a break. Hopefully that'll be before one of
- 45:24Speaker 1: you blurts out something that you can't take back, yeah,
- 45:27Speaker 1: like something painful.
- 45:28Speaker 3: Okay, So scenario sitting at the Domino table or the

- 56:40Speaker 8: Buckle up and hold on type you got it for
- 56:42Speaker 8: you Here it is Strawberry letter.
- 56:44Speaker 1: Thank you, ne for you. Subject. Why is his stuff
- 56:47Speaker 1: at his sister's house? Dear Stephen Shirley, My husband has
- 56:50Speaker 1: a twin sister and they're like frick and freck. I
- 56:54Speaker 1: get along with her most of the time, but she's
- 56:56Speaker 1: quick to jump on her brother's side when he and
- 56:59Speaker 1: I disagree about I've told her that he might be
- 57:02Speaker 1: your twin brother, but he is my husband and the
- 57:04Speaker 1: father of my kids, so that trumps everything. She is
- 57:08Speaker 1: one of those girls that doesn't like to hang around
- 57:10Speaker 1: other females, and she'd rather have male friends. Because of that,
- 57:14Speaker 1: she's single and miserable. I dreaded the day that she
- 57:17Speaker 1: moved back to our city and bought a house. My
- 57:20Speaker 1: husband was at her house for a straight week to
- 57:22Speaker 1: unpack her and move furniture around. It didn't bother me
- 57:26Speaker 1: that he helped his sister get settled because his twin
- 57:29Speaker 1: is his best friend. What bothers me is that my
- 57:32Speaker 1: husband has stuff at his twin sister's house. He is
- 57:36Speaker 1: clothes and shoes in her guest room and she said
- 57:38Speaker 1: he brought the TV. He bought the TV that's in
- 57:41Speaker 1: the room so he can chill in there when he
- 57:43Speaker 1: comes over. His sister was giving me a tour of
- 57:46Speaker 1: her house, and when we got to the guest room,
- 57:48Speaker 1: she said, this is Jay's room. My husband tensed up
- 57:52Speaker 1: and looked at me. I was looking at the box
- 57:54Speaker 1: of baseball caps that belonged to him and the two
- 57:57Speaker 1: T shirts folded on the dresser. They were his shirt.
- 58:00Speaker 6: Hurt.
- 58:00Speaker 1: I couldn't help but ask if he was moving in
- 58:02Speaker 1: and my husband started laughing nervously. He has a TV
- 58:07Speaker 1: and his clothes. Oh and I saw a pair of
- 58:10Speaker 1: sneakers and slippers in the room too. I didn't know
- 58:14Speaker 1: my husband was hanging out at his sister's house like that.
- 58:17Speaker 1: I haven't said a word about it because his sister
- 58:19Speaker 1: told me on purpose to cause friction between us. How
- 58:22Speaker 1: do I ask my husband what's he up to? And
- 58:25Speaker 1: why is he over there so much? Okay? How do
- 58:28Speaker 1: you ask your husband what he's up to? You just
- 58:30Speaker 1: ask him? All right? You gotta address this. This is
- 58:33Speaker 1: a big gray elephant in the room, and you gotta
- 58:35Speaker 1: do it today. I mean, it's silly to keep avoiding this.
- 58:38Speaker 1: He is your husband. Ask him, all right, why are
- 58:42Speaker 1: you over there so much? Then tell him to get
- 58:45Speaker 1: his stuff from over there because he doesn't live there.
- 58:48Speaker 1: Tell him you don't mind him visiting his twin, but
- 58:51Speaker 1: he's doing too much, he really is. Tell him that
- 58:54Speaker 1: his twin knew exactly what she was doing when she
- 58:57Speaker 1: said this is Jay's room. She knew it would have
- 59:00Speaker 1: set me. She knew it would upset you, And you're right.
- 59:03Speaker 1: She is trying to cause friction between you two. That's
- 59:06Speaker 1: why your husband was acting nervous and laughing nervously when
- 59:09Speaker 1: she was showing you around. He knows this isn't right.
- 59:12Speaker 1: He's too comfortable over there. He already has a house. Okay,
- 59:17Speaker 1: tell him it bothers you and how it makes you feel.
- 59:19Speaker 1: You are his wife. He should want to make sure
- 59:22Speaker 1: you're good at all times. You know the same unhappy wife,
- 59:26Speaker 1: unhappy life. You know that thing, Tommy, Let's go all right.
- 59:32Speaker 8: I think you in a lose situation. The wife is
- 59:35Speaker 8: a I think you in just a no win situation.
- 59:38Speaker 8: This is this is you are supposed to be your
- 59:42Speaker 8: husband's best friend. You are and that's not the case.
- 59:46Speaker 8: He got a twin sister, he and he is by none.
- 59:49Speaker 8: He is the best friend. They ride or die. Evidently
- 59:53Speaker 8: you like you already stated they freaking frak they are
- 59:56Speaker 8: who they are together and that they got a bond.
- 1:00:00Speaker 8: Already know most twins have a bond that's unseparable, and
- 1:00:03Speaker 8: they are that. So now where do you fall in this? Now?
- 1:00:06Speaker 8: Your brother then move once A man got a TV
- 1:00:10Speaker 8: somewhere and some slippers.
- 1:00:14Speaker 2: It's a rap. He has decided to set up shop.
- 1:00:17Speaker 8: Their roommates over that he didn't set up shop at
- 1:00:20Speaker 8: his sister house, so that is his He now has
- 1:00:23Speaker 8: his own man cave at his sister's house, and that's
- 1:00:26Speaker 8: where he likes to be. I'm not understanding why you
- 1:00:31Speaker 8: can't say the question was, how do.
- 1:00:33Speaker 2: I ask my hood what the hell?
- 1:00:35Speaker 13: What is all that?
- 1:00:36Speaker 2: How do I ask him something?
- 1:00:38Speaker 8: Ain't that your husband?
- 1:00:39Speaker 2: You ask?
- 1:00:40Speaker 8: Because my wife show asked me anything under the sun
- 1:00:42Speaker 8: that she want to know. So I don't understand why
- 1:00:45Speaker 8: you can't say, Hey, we gotta have a conversation. What's
- 1:00:48Speaker 8: going on here with you and your sister? To the
- 1:00:50Speaker 8: point where you you got all your stuff over there?
- 1:00:52Speaker 8: Once you see slippers, a TV and you should have
- 1:00:56Speaker 8: pulled up. You should have opened up some of these dresses.
- 1:00:58Speaker 8: Is it some drawers over there? Once a man got
- 1:01:00Speaker 8: some drawl somewhere, that's why he stays. Okay, that's his
- 1:01:04Speaker 8: other spot. So I really think that you guys need
- 1:01:09Speaker 8: to have a sit down conversation and discuss what it is.
- 1:01:14Speaker 8: What are your boundaries? Do you not want this? What's
- 1:01:16Speaker 8: bothering you? Are you bothered because there's clothes and shoes
- 1:01:19Speaker 8: and all this over there apparently is bothering you. It
- 1:01:22Speaker 8: would bother me too. If my spouse set up shop
- 1:01:25Speaker 8: somewhere else, I got an issue with that, but I
- 1:01:27Speaker 8: got but I ain't got no problem saying, hey, why
- 1:01:29Speaker 8: the hell you got all your stuff over there? It
- 1:01:31Speaker 8: makes me think that my man is at the point
- 1:01:33Speaker 8: of are you fin to move out on me?
- 1:01:35Speaker 2: Are you?
- 1:01:36Speaker 12: You know?
- 1:01:36Speaker 8: It just feels weird, It just feels But that is
- 1:01:39Speaker 8: your sister. He loves his sister. But I will agree
- 1:01:42Speaker 8: with you on this. The sister's messy as hell. She's
- 1:01:45Speaker 8: messy as all get out, and everybody knows it. And
- 1:01:50Speaker 8: basically she's gonna at some point your relationship in the
- 1:01:53Speaker 8: turn that's already turning.
- 1:01:55Speaker 2: I don't think your husband ready to love I don't
- 1:01:58Speaker 2: you don't think so?
- 1:01:58Speaker 8: Yeah, all right, ain't ready to your sister in law.
- 1:02:03Speaker 8: Ain't ready to sister in law even.
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: Like shed like women. She doesn't even have like a girlfriend.
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: She said. She likes the only men in her life.
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: You know, she doesn't even know what that sisterhood bond
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: is all about, apparently. But anyway, all right, Junior, you
- 1:02:23Speaker 1: got something for us, I know you do.
- 1:02:25Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:02:26Speaker 10: Well, see, I don't see how this is difficult because
- 1:02:30Speaker 10: what Tommy said is actutely true.
- 1:02:31Speaker 11: How do you ask your hook? You asked this man,
- 1:02:33Speaker 11: why is he moving this stuff in?
- 1:02:36Speaker 10: But there's a flip side to the coin. He's moving
- 1:02:39Speaker 10: stuff in his sister's house. Were gonna start moving stuff
- 1:02:43Speaker 10: in somewhere else too? Okay, all right, we look everybody
- 1:02:47Speaker 10: for the half clothes everywhere at my job is if
- 1:02:50Speaker 10: you got it in one place, I'm gonna have it
- 1:02:52Speaker 10: in two.
- 1:02:53Speaker 3: Okay, all right, hold it right there, Hold it right there.
- 1:02:57Speaker 3: We'll have part two of your.
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: Response come up twenty three minutes after the hour of
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: the subject of today's strawberry letter, Why is his super
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: late get? We'll get back into it here from Junior.
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: Right after this, you're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show.

- 1:03:19Speaker 10: Junior, you know what, I love having cookouts in the summertime,
- 1:03:22Speaker 10: but it is so expensive.

- 1:03:38Speaker 10: Summer Value can help you save on all the things

- 1:03:50Speaker 1: All right, guys, it is time to recap today's strawberry letter.
- 1:03:53Speaker 1: The subject is his stuff? Why is his stuff at
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: his sister's house? Okay, this woman wrote it, and her
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: husband has a twin sister. They're really really close. They're
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: like freaking fracks, she says. She says, she gets along
- 1:04:06Speaker 1: with her sister most of the time, but the sister,
- 1:04:09Speaker 1: the twin sister, is quick to jump on her twin
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: brother's side if they disagree about anything. The husband and wife,
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: and she said the wife said that she's told her
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: that he might be her twin brother, but he is
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: her husband and the father of her children, so that
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: trumps everything. But it seems like that's not getting through
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: to the twin sister because she keeps, you know, doing
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: these little digs and trying to separate them. Now, she
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: bought a house. She bought a house, and her brother
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: moved in. Her twin brother has pretty much moved in.
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: He's got clothes over there. He bought a TV. The
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: guest room is now his. The twin sister was showing
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: the wife around and she said, that's Jay's the husband,
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: that's his room. So the wife is feeling like, you know,
- 1:04:56Speaker 1: why are you putting your clothes in this? And your
- 1:04:59Speaker 1: twins's why are you moving in? What is going on
- 1:05:03Speaker 1: over here? You bought a TV, you're chilling, you got
- 1:05:05Speaker 1: slippers over here? What is going on? So the sister's like, well, yeah,
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: you know, the twin sisters trying to divide them. She sees,
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: she sees it. She's trying to cause tension between them.
- 1:05:17Speaker 1: So the wife wants to know Junior, why is he
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: over there so much? And how does she ask her
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: husband what he's up to?
- 1:05:25Speaker 10: Yeah, you can ask him, but since you're having a problem,
- 1:05:28Speaker 10: ask him. So he's moving clothes in at his twin
- 1:05:31Speaker 10: sister's house. OK, now you can do it. That's the
- 1:05:35Speaker 10: game we playing. Then let's play the game. I'm finna
- 1:05:39Speaker 10: start moving clothes to some friends and sisters. Sibbings' house
- 1:05:42Speaker 10: as well, says you moved in one, I'm gonna move
- 1:05:45Speaker 10: stuff in two.
- 1:05:45Speaker 11: See, my goal is to make you be with me
- 1:05:48Speaker 11: so much. We gonna be twin. You you're not gonna
- 1:05:54Speaker 11: even Don't you like it?
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: Y'all?
- 1:05:56Speaker 11: You and your sister's gonna be sibblings. We gonna be twins.
- 1:05:59Speaker 1: Yes, go, you gonna have to be with me.
- 1:06:02Speaker 11: You're gonna be chasing me so much.
- 1:06:03Speaker 2: You gonna be my twin.
- 1:06:06Speaker 10: Because it's no way for you to feel this way.
- 1:06:08Speaker 10: And this is your husband, Like type said, you got
- 1:06:10Speaker 10: kids with this man. You are you are married to
- 1:06:14Speaker 10: this man. I know he loves his twin sister, but
- 1:06:16Speaker 10: it seems like you're you're trying to move on. Well,
- 1:06:19Speaker 10: let me get to moving on too, when we're gonna
- 1:06:21Speaker 10: find out what kind of marriage we really have. You
- 1:06:23Speaker 10: playing this type of game, Let my wife move all
- 1:06:26Speaker 10: her stuff out, because tell you one thing.
- 1:06:28Speaker 11: A man can't stand not knowing where his woman is
- 1:06:31Speaker 11: after nine pm.
- 1:06:32Speaker 10: Okay, all right, you got to call me by nine

- 1:14:03Speaker 1: listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, guys,
- 1:14:10Speaker 1: Nicole and Steve HARBFM need some advice, she says. My
- 1:14:14Speaker 1: work bestie and I both went for the same promotion.
- 1:14:18Speaker 1: We prepped together. We encouraged each other, and we agreed
- 1:14:22Speaker 1: that whoever got it, that we would support them. Okay,
- 1:14:26Speaker 1: well I got it.
- 1:14:29Speaker 2: She says.
- 1:14:29Speaker 1: She's happy for me, but ever since the announcement, she's
- 1:14:32Speaker 1: been short with me. She's been skipping our usual lunch breaks,
- 1:14:36Speaker 1: and she's been giving me weird vibes all around. I
- 1:14:39Speaker 1: feel guilty, even though I didn't do anything wrong. And
- 1:14:42Speaker 1: now I'm stuck wondering if I should bring it up
- 1:14:45Speaker 1: or just give her space. Can you keep a friendship
- 1:14:48Speaker 1: strong when one person's success feels like the other's failure. Wow,

- 1:15:28Speaker 1: each other no matter who won, because that's what friends do.
- 1:15:32Speaker 1: But apparently now she sees that she's not as good
- 1:15:34Speaker 1: of a friend as she thought she was.
- 1:15:37Speaker 2: She knew that weren't gonna happen, and she couldn't.
- 1:15:40Speaker 1: Get over it. Yeah, she can't get past it. Yeah,
- 1:15:45Speaker 1: so should she bring it up? Should she bring it up?
- 1:15:47Speaker 6: Yes?
- 1:15:48Speaker 1: She should.
- 1:15:49Speaker 8: If you want to be straight across the table, I
- 1:15:52Speaker 8: would I bring him and say, hey, I know we
- 1:15:54Speaker 8: both went for the same thing, and I got it

- 1:16:37Speaker 10: is not what she should do as well. I'm gonna

- 1:27:01Speaker 1: is to motivate, It is to encourage.
- 1:27:04Speaker 8: Why don't we have to tell you? Why do we
- 1:27:06Speaker 8: have to tell people to get up and do stuff
- 1:27:07Speaker 8: for theyself? Why why do we have to continue to
- 1:27:11Speaker 8: talk to them? And we get every every show when
- 1:27:14Speaker 8: we get ready to leave here. We got to give
- 1:27:16Speaker 8: you some couraging words on what you need to do
- 1:27:19Speaker 8: to get kill like, hang in there, don't give us standing? Well,
- 1:27:22Speaker 8: what else is your friend to do?

- 1:27:40Speaker 8: all that gotta But you don't know that yet. You
- 1:27:44Speaker 8: don't know that. Why do we have to keep saying
- 1:27:47Speaker 8: it to you for you to get up and be motivated?
- 1:27:49Speaker 8: I don't get this part.
- 1:27:51Speaker 2: I don't.
- 1:27:51Speaker 1: That's the point in motivating motivation. You have to motivate,
- 1:27:56Speaker 1: you know, sometimes you don't feel like doing it every day?
- 1:27:58Speaker 1: Life is hard, you know. Working out? Yeah, like working out? Motivation?
- 1:28:03Speaker 1: Sometimes you don't feel like working out?
- 1:28:05Speaker 8: Yeah yeah, you don't know, feel like just look in
- 1:28:10Speaker 8: the mirror, work want Are you gonna work out or not? Okay,

- 1:28:19Speaker 8: out or not?
- 1:28:20Speaker 1: That is not motivating.
- 1:28:22Speaker 2: It ought to be motivating. Look at yourself, look in
- 1:28:25Speaker 2: the mirror.
- 1:28:25Speaker 8: You know what you know what's going on, But you're
- 1:28:28Speaker 8: gonna put these clothes on and hide all of it.
- 1:28:30Speaker 8: Are you're gonna try to do something about what you're
- 1:28:32Speaker 8: gonna do?
- 1:28:34Speaker 1: Oh lord, we have tried. We have tried. Yeah, encourage people.
- 1:28:40Speaker 1: How do you balance work in personal life? You know
- 1:28:43Speaker 1: a lot of people struggle with that.
- 1:28:47Speaker 8: Work comes first?
- 1:28:49Speaker 1: Oh always, that's always maybe from a male perspective? Is
- 1:28:53Speaker 1: that from a male perspective? Because you got to make
- 1:28:56Speaker 1: the money to take care of your family or you
- 1:28:58Speaker 1: gotta do that.

- 1:29:33Speaker 8: y'all trying to y'all trying to get me to motivate people,
- 1:29:35Speaker 8: and it gets bibles. It's just frustrating. But I got
- 1:29:39Speaker 8: to help all these people try to get through. Then
- 1:29:42Speaker 8: you want me to give all these answers and solutions
- 1:29:44Speaker 8: on how to do better, and like how you balance
- 1:29:46Speaker 8: this and balance. Everything ain't gonna be balanced. Some stuff's
