- 0:28Speaker 4: To I don't Joy, Yeah, Joy, you gotta do that.
- 1:05Speaker 5: You turn.
- 1:41Speaker 6: To turn the mouth turn you probably got to turn
- 1:44Speaker 6: the mouth out, turn the water the mon jo.
- 1:49Speaker 7: Look come.
- 1:58Speaker 2: Come out, you think, Uh huh.
- 2:02Speaker 8: I sure will. Good morning everybody. You all listening to
- 2:06Speaker 8: the voice, come on dig me now, one and all
- 2:08Speaker 8: that Steve Harvey got a radio show. Okay, today is simple.
- 2:15Speaker 8: I want to tell you. I want to just talk
- 2:19Speaker 8: to you about effort today. Just about effort. You know,
- 2:25Speaker 8: it's it's it's it's a word that people use to
- 2:28Speaker 8: describe sometimes trying. But what I found out about trying
- 2:34Speaker 8: is trying is just a noble way of saying you
- 2:38Speaker 8: didn't get it done. I tried when and then everybody go, well,
- 2:44Speaker 8: he tried, that was the best.
- 2:47Speaker 2: Well that's that's not.
- 2:48Speaker 8: Exactly true though, that that's that's not exactly true. You
- 2:52Speaker 8: are and I want to talk to you about that
- 2:55Speaker 8: because I don't want you to be one of the
- 2:58Speaker 8: people who just tried. See trying, I mean, I gotta
- 3:04Speaker 8: tell you to attempt something, You're gonna have to first try,
- 3:08Speaker 8: but I want you to change your mindset from trying
- 3:13Speaker 8: to getting it done.
- 3:15Speaker 2: See, that's a big difference.
- 3:17Speaker 8: I'm really more apt to listen to the person that
- 3:19Speaker 8: says to me, I'm gonna get it done. I'm gonna try.
- 3:23Speaker 8: What try does is it allows you to fail. It's
- 3:27Speaker 8: the person that has the mindset that I'm gonna get
- 3:29Speaker 8: it done. It's the person who changes the complexion of things.
- 3:34Speaker 8: I'm gonna get it done. It's very different than I'm
- 3:37Speaker 8: gonna try. You know, look, man, I know this sounds
- 3:41Speaker 8: a little harsh, but you gotta stop feeding yourself these
- 3:45Speaker 8: little old wise sayings that ain't it was a valiant tribe.
- 3:50Speaker 8: Hey man, you talk to anybody that took second place
- 3:54Speaker 8: in the super Bowl and see how they feel about
- 3:57Speaker 8: their valiant try. The only way to gain God's real
- 4:02Speaker 8: blessings is you have to try something. Stevie backpeddling. Now,
- 4:10Speaker 8: listen to me close. You have to put forth an
- 4:15Speaker 8: effort to allow God to put his finger on something
- 4:21Speaker 8: to bless on your behalf. You must start to attempt now,
- 4:29Speaker 8: insaying getting it done and I'm gonna try that's a
- 4:32Speaker 8: difference of two different faiths to me.
- 4:36Speaker 2: That I'm just talking about me.
- 4:37Speaker 8: Now you may be different, so I can't say this
- 4:40Speaker 8: about you, but I can say this about me. If
- 4:44Speaker 8: I say I'm gonna get it done, I have a
- 4:48Speaker 8: lot of faith in it. I am going to get
- 4:52Speaker 8: it done because I just don't see failure as an option.
- 4:56Speaker 8: A lot of times now, if somebody says to me,
- 5:00Speaker 8: like the Olympic team invited me out to curl one day,
- 5:03Speaker 8: which is throw these stones on the ice.
- 5:06Speaker 2: If you're not familiar with it's very simple thing. And
- 5:09Speaker 2: so I said, man, I'd like to give that a try.
- 5:15Speaker 8: I went in full well knowing I may not come
- 5:19Speaker 8: away from this little curling lesson as a person who
- 5:25Speaker 8: could make the Olympic team.
- 5:26Speaker 2: I just wanted to try it because I thought it
- 5:28Speaker 2: looked cool.
- 5:29Speaker 8: And I always wanted to get it done. When I
- 5:31Speaker 8: failed twice, I threw a stone completely into the other lane,
- 5:37Speaker 8: I lost that little ice shoe. It shot out under me.
- 5:41Speaker 8: But you know what, I kept trying though. I kept
- 5:45Speaker 8: trying until I got four of them stones in that
- 5:48Speaker 8: circle right where I aim. But now had I given
- 5:52Speaker 8: up after I failed, After I threw that stone in
- 5:56Speaker 8: the other lane after I shot my shoe down all
- 5:59Speaker 8: the way to the bottom side, the little ice shoe
- 6:01Speaker 8: they give you. I never what did it, but because
- 6:04Speaker 8: I was trying, something got me together a little bit
- 6:09Speaker 8: because of my effort, and it caused me not to
- 6:11Speaker 8: fall the next time, not to throw it in the
- 6:14Speaker 8: other lane, not to shoot my shoe to the back
- 6:16Speaker 8: of the wall.
- 6:18Speaker 2: All of a sudden, my trying became something.
- 6:21Speaker 8: Now had I stayed out there and it wasn't so cold,
- 6:25Speaker 8: and I went back week after week after week after week, I.
- 6:29Speaker 2: Promise you I could get it done.
- 6:33Speaker 8: I could at least know how to compete in a
- 6:36Speaker 8: game of curling.
- 6:37Speaker 2: Might not be the best.
- 6:39Speaker 8: I might not win the championship, but I could have
- 6:42Speaker 8: got it done to the point where I could have
- 6:44Speaker 8: competed in a game of curling.
- 6:45Speaker 2: So sometimes if you're.
- 6:47Speaker 8: Scared to say I'm gonna get it done, just go
- 6:50Speaker 8: out there and get started.
- 6:52Speaker 2: You know, learn from every attempt that you make.
- 6:56Speaker 8: See, don't quit writing yourself off as a failure every
- 6:59Speaker 8: time don't go right. And when I fail on that ice,
- 7:02Speaker 8: I could have said, man, I can't curl, but hold up, man,
- 7:05Speaker 8: I'm watching four other women out here curl, four other
- 7:08Speaker 8: dudes out here curyling, the little kids out here curling.
- 7:10Speaker 8: Hold up, Pardner, You know, man, So I learned when
- 7:14Speaker 8: I threw that stone on the other ice, when I failed,
- 7:17Speaker 8: when when my shoe shot off, I learned from every
- 7:20Speaker 8: attempt a little bit more about it. And then I
- 7:25Speaker 8: said to myself one point in time, man, I'm gonna
- 7:28Speaker 8: get this stone in that circle. I'm gonna get this
- 7:31Speaker 8: stone in this circle. And guess what I got it done.
- 7:37Speaker 8: Now what you're saying to me, Steve, I'm saying to
- 7:40Speaker 8: you that you gotta get started. That you got to
- 7:42Speaker 8: put forth an effort. Give God something to bless. Oh God,
- 7:46Speaker 8: bless me, Oh God, bless me.
- 7:48Speaker 2: Bless you?
- 7:48Speaker 9: What?
- 7:50Speaker 2: Bless you? Where? Bless you? How?
- 7:53Speaker 8: Stop basing your results on what you're thinking. You gotta
- 7:56Speaker 8: think higher. You get God in your life, man, He
- 7:59Speaker 8: allows you to think higher, bigger, better more. I'm sitting
- 8:04Speaker 8: up here in my debt. I came up with a
- 8:06Speaker 8: plan to get out of debt in five years. I
- 8:08Speaker 8: came up with this plan right, I was sitting up
- 8:10Speaker 8: and I was tripping on it. Now, I said, wait
- 8:12Speaker 8: a minute, man, hold on. This is what I came
- 8:15Speaker 8: up with. I said, God created heaven and earth, all
- 8:21Speaker 8: of it, the mountains, the sky, the valleys.
- 8:25Speaker 2: The oceans, trees, the birds.
- 8:29Speaker 8: The Indian Ocean, all of it, made all of it
- 8:32Speaker 8: in six days, and then he rested on the seven.
- 8:38Speaker 8: So why am I taking to God the five year plan?
- 8:43Speaker 8: If he can create heaven and earth in six days,
- 8:47Speaker 8: why am I walking in there talking about help me
- 8:49Speaker 8: in five years? How is it gonna take God five
- 8:54Speaker 8: years to getting me out of debt? And he made
- 8:58Speaker 8: heaven and Earth in six days. Math Hell, Man, I
- 9:01Speaker 8: ain't that big. You ain't that big. You ain't in
- 9:05Speaker 8: that much trouble. I ain't in that much trouble. See,
- 9:08Speaker 8: God got a way of showing you some things, man,
- 9:11Speaker 8: but it's gonna take some faith, and faith gonna take
- 9:14Speaker 8: some effort on your part.
- 9:15Speaker 2: Man, get out and do something.
- 9:17Speaker 8: Man, you God will bless you a little bit and
- 9:19Speaker 8: he give you a little bit more courage. And then
- 9:22Speaker 8: all them attempts you making is gonna and all this
- 9:24Speaker 8: so I'll try. You know what that turned into. I'm
- 9:26Speaker 8: gonna get it done. And at the end of the day,
- 9:29Speaker 8: that's what you have to do. Because trying to pay
- 9:32Speaker 8: your rent and not paying your rent is two different things.
- 9:35Speaker 8: You can you can try to play your pay your rent,
- 9:38Speaker 8: or you can get it done. Now, how long you
- 9:40Speaker 8: think you gonna stay in that house trying? You got
- 9:43Speaker 8: to go with the mindset of getting it done. And
- 9:45Speaker 8: if you can put some stuff out there and give
- 9:47Speaker 8: God a chance to put his finger on and bless
- 9:49Speaker 8: it for you the most stuff he can do for you,
- 9:51Speaker 8: quit looking around at what everybody else got and gonna
- 9:54Speaker 8: get some of it for yourself.
- 9:55Speaker 3: Okay, all right, you're listening hard morning show ladies and gentlemen.
- 10:03Speaker 2: It's here.
- 10:03Speaker 8: I'm amazement. I just keep on having this feeling over
- 10:09Speaker 8: and over. You know, I'm in twenty twenty four. I
- 10:12Speaker 8: decided to really really focus on what God has done
- 10:15Speaker 8: for me so I can show more gratitude.
- 10:18Speaker 2: And it's really working, man, and it keeps me in.
- 10:20Speaker 8: A state of awe, because I just can't believe how
- 10:24Speaker 8: good God is being. Now. I know a lot of
- 10:27Speaker 8: people that's listening to me still have a lot of wants.
- 10:29Speaker 2: Some of you have some needs, some of you have
- 10:32Speaker 2: some concerns.
- 10:33Speaker 8: I understand that, but man, can you not be grateful
- 10:38Speaker 8: for what you have just for a moment, because he's
- 10:42Speaker 8: done a lot for you and brought you through a lot,
- 10:45Speaker 8: and whatever you're going through, he gonna bring you through
- 10:47Speaker 8: that too, because his track record and your track record
- 10:50Speaker 8: for surviving unsurmountable odds and difficult times is one thousand percent.
- 10:55Speaker 8: So release some stress from yourself because this too shall pass.
- 10:59Speaker 8: That's a garan t ain't nowhere around it, Ladies, General
- 11:02Speaker 8: Steve Harvey, Martin Show, Shelley Strapberry calling for real Mississippi,
- 11:05Speaker 8: Monica Junior and the Legend of Nephew Tommy Junia.
- 11:10Speaker 2: Julia much ease.
- 11:12Speaker 10: You really believe that you see it every morning, you
- 11:15Speaker 10: graceful every morning morning like this, Hey Doug, and guess
- 11:20Speaker 10: what you You've rich it and all of them you
- 11:23Speaker 10: still attitude.
- 11:25Speaker 2: Well for long, not for long?
- 11:28Speaker 8: Well, But but see the alternative. It's only ying and yang.
- 11:35Speaker 8: It's only positive and negative. It's only good and evil.
- 11:39Speaker 8: It's only right and wrong, and there is no alternative.
- 11:43Speaker 8: So if you start your day off the right way,
- 11:45Speaker 8: it at least helps you get off to a good start.
- 11:48Speaker 8: To start it off the other way is you're gonna
- 11:51Speaker 8: get the direct opposite. I just choose to at least
- 11:53Speaker 8: start my day. Now, do I expect some things to
- 11:57Speaker 8: go wrong? Not really, But I am a where that
- 12:00Speaker 8: the things happen. Yeah. No matter how great you start
- 12:03Speaker 8: your day, it's called life. It's going to happen, and
- 12:07Speaker 8: I wait on it to happen to deal with it. See, Junior,
- 12:11Speaker 8: what I think has to happen for a person in
- 12:15Speaker 8: your position is you have to develop coping skills, as
- 12:20Speaker 8: does everybody. And I think that's the thing that some
- 12:23Speaker 8: people overlook. We have to develop coping skills. The reason
- 12:28Speaker 8: we are tested throughout life is that so we get
- 12:31Speaker 8: better at passing the tests. And in passing the test
- 12:36Speaker 8: is how you develop coping skills. See, things that used
- 12:40Speaker 8: to stop me don't even slow me down no more.
- 12:44Speaker 8: Things that used to hurt me have no longer have
- 12:47Speaker 8: an effect on me. Because I've had those problems and
- 12:51Speaker 8: learn how to deal with them, I develop coping skills.
- 12:55Speaker 8: But people don't want to view it that way. Too
- 12:58Speaker 8: many people go all, oh, here this problem come again.
- 13:01Speaker 8: Damn how many times I got to deal with this? No,
- 13:05Speaker 8: that's exactly it. How many times have you dealt with
- 13:08Speaker 8: it and you survived it? So now that you're aware
- 13:11Speaker 8: of that, developed the skill set of calling it survival
- 13:15Speaker 8: and learning and call it experience instead of calling it
- 13:19Speaker 8: the same old problem. You can't get me with the
- 13:22Speaker 8: same thing over and over and Oh, I'm not gonna
- 13:23Speaker 8: let that happen. I'm too blessed to be stressed. I
- 13:29Speaker 8: ain't got time for that. Thank you God.
- 13:36Speaker 11: All right, coming up in thirty two minutes after the hour,
- 13:39Speaker 11: we'll hear from the nephew as he runs that prank back.
- 13:42Speaker 3: Right after this you're listening Morning show.
- 13:47Speaker 11: It is time now for the nephew to run that
- 13:50Speaker 11: prank back.
- 13:50Speaker 3: What you got for us today, nep.
- 13:53Speaker 5: It's time to get a little makeup, you know, a
- 13:54Speaker 5: little makeup, not no facial makeup, not even back makeup,
- 13:58Speaker 5: but a little but make up, little butt makeup.
- 14:02Speaker 2: Can you can you do my makeup?
- 14:03Speaker 5: Keep wanting smooth guy, some smooth give me that this
- 14:07Speaker 5: coloration and all of that, the part of people that
- 14:10Speaker 5: you don't see.
- 14:10Speaker 2: Let's go cat dog. Can you do my makeup?
- 14:15Speaker 12: Hello?
- 14:16Speaker 7: Hello? Manw we do uh? Brandy plue? Yes, this is
- 14:18Speaker 7: Brandy Brandon. My name is Carl. I'm calling. I got
- 14:21Speaker 7: a You can't highly recommend it. You actually you're you
- 14:24Speaker 7: actually are? I'm sorry, I don't know if I'm saying
- 14:27Speaker 7: it right. As a makeup artist, makeup styleist, what do
- 14:29Speaker 7: you call it?
- 14:30Speaker 12: It's makeup artists. I'm a professional makeup artists okay.
- 14:33Speaker 7: And you work at the you work with the makeup
- 14:36Speaker 7: counter and correct Okay, Listen, I got a I got
- 14:39Speaker 7: a photo shoot coming up, and I wanted to see
- 14:42Speaker 7: about sometime this week maybe the following week you could
- 14:45Speaker 7: actually come and and I hire you to actually make
- 14:49Speaker 7: me up with my photo shoot. Is do you do
- 14:51Speaker 7: a lot of photo shoots at all or you?
- 14:53Speaker 12: Yes, sir, I should do. I've been in the business
- 14:55Speaker 12: for ten years, so I've been around several photo shoots.
- 14:58Speaker 7: Okay, good deal. So what's I mean? You have any
- 15:01Speaker 7: time this week that I can actually just come in
- 15:03Speaker 7: and we can do like a trial run or something.
- 15:05Speaker 12: Yeah, I'll actually be here Friday for about six hours. Well,
- 15:09Speaker 12: Friday works for you. I'm here, I start at eleven.
- 15:12Speaker 7: At eleven, I mean I can come in like maybe
- 15:14Speaker 7: like around three on Friday if you if can you
- 15:16Speaker 7: squeeze me in at that time?
- 15:18Speaker 12: I sure can.
- 15:19Speaker 7: Okay. What's what's so good? Is there a certain makeup
- 15:21Speaker 7: for for men, it's.
- 15:23Speaker 12: Kind of works out. It works out the same as
- 15:25Speaker 12: for women. In total shoots. You just need some type
- 15:27Speaker 12: of cream, foundation, something even out the skin tone. Uh,
- 15:31Speaker 12: powder you down to take away the oils, cover up
- 15:33Speaker 12: any blimmishes or anything like that. It's pretty much the same.
- 15:36Speaker 12: Of course, you don't get the whole eyeshadow and lashes
- 15:38Speaker 12: and stuff, right.
- 15:39Speaker 7: Right, right, right right. Well I'm not making all that,
- 15:41Speaker 7: but I just trying to, you know, just trying to
- 15:43Speaker 7: look good on camera. Let me ask you this, how
- 15:46Speaker 7: much makeup have you done as far as men? You
- 15:50Speaker 7: know what I mean?
- 15:51Speaker 9: Yeah?
- 15:51Speaker 1: Several?
- 15:51Speaker 7: Okay, I'm very comfortable with it.
- 15:53Speaker 12: You'll be fine, trust me.
- 15:54Speaker 7: That's what I was really worried about it, if you
- 15:56Speaker 7: were going to be comfortable with it, because I mean,
- 15:58Speaker 7: have you done I'm a little conscientious about a few things,
- 16:02Speaker 7: you know what I mean? And uh, have you how
- 16:06Speaker 7: many butts have you done?
- 16:08Speaker 12: I'm sorry, how many what.
- 16:10Speaker 7: Like like like butts? You know? How many? How many
- 16:13Speaker 7: butts have you made up?
- 16:15Speaker 12: I haven't made up any but like are you like
- 16:18Speaker 12: you mean?
- 16:18Speaker 6: Like ass?
- 16:20Speaker 7: Yeah? I mean, because see I'm actually doing a nude
- 16:23Speaker 7: photo shoot and uh, you know, I got a couple
- 16:26Speaker 7: of scratches and you know, some old scars on my butt,
- 16:29Speaker 7: and you know, like you said, you know, I'm a
- 16:31Speaker 7: little shy about you know some of that souse. You
- 16:34Speaker 7: could actually hope they actually make sure that those scars
- 16:37Speaker 7: don't show, and you know you say you kind of
- 16:40Speaker 7: you know, uh make sure everything is doesn't look oily,
- 16:43Speaker 7: you know what I mean. And I just need to
- 16:46Speaker 7: get my.
- 16:47Speaker 12: Well, but I didn't when I didn't understand what you're
- 16:50Speaker 12: talking about. I may not be the makeupout it.
- 16:52Speaker 10: I don't.
- 16:52Speaker 12: I'm not seriously, I'm not gonna.
- 16:54Speaker 7: Do your but I mean we're just talking about makeup though.
- 16:57Speaker 7: I mean, you know you're talking about but I'm not about.
- 17:00Speaker 12: To put my makeup brushes that I use on people's
- 17:03Speaker 12: faces on your ad, like tell your photographer to like
- 17:06Speaker 12: photoshop that.
- 17:07Speaker 7: Okay, That's why I'm coming in to see you on Friday.
- 17:10Speaker 7: I want you to do everything and make me up
- 17:13Speaker 7: there in the store so I can see what.
- 17:15Speaker 9: It looks like.
- 17:15Speaker 7: I want to see you you were going to come into.
- 17:17Speaker 12: My job and make me do your like what are
- 17:20Speaker 12: you what planted or where did you think that was
- 17:22Speaker 12: gonna work. You cannot come into my job. How are
- 17:25Speaker 12: you going to come my job naked? Seriously?
- 17:27Speaker 7: I mean, well, I was gonna wear a robe. I'm
- 17:29Speaker 7: not gonna just, you know, walk on this or not.
- 17:31Speaker 12: Don't you even think about coming into my job? Who
- 17:34Speaker 12: referred you?
- 17:35Speaker 9: Who talked?
- 17:35Speaker 7: You?
- 17:36Speaker 12: Need to delete this number?
- 17:37Speaker 2: Do not.
- 17:38Speaker 12: I'm not about to get this job.
- 17:42Speaker 7: Done, okay, I don't want to you. Why is it
- 17:45Speaker 7: a problem what you're doing? What is the problem what
- 17:48Speaker 7: you're doing my butt and putting some makeup on it?
- 17:50Speaker 7: Now if I need to buy you some brushes, I
- 17:52Speaker 7: buy you some brushes and you can.
- 17:53Speaker 12: Take I don't want you to buy me anything. I
- 17:55Speaker 12: don't want you coming into my job. I don't want
- 17:57Speaker 12: you calling me ever again to do any kind of.
- 17:59Speaker 7: Work coming in there. And I'm now.
- 18:01Speaker 12: Listen, I am a professional makeup artist. Clearly you don't
- 18:05Speaker 12: know what that means.
- 18:05Speaker 7: So professional, then you will take out the part that's
- 18:09Speaker 7: bothering you and through the job. Lady, you know what
- 18:12Speaker 7: I mean.
- 18:12Speaker 9: If my story is on it, I want to clear.
- 18:14Speaker 12: I want to call on you before I get real ignorant.
- 18:17Speaker 12: I'm not about to finish this conversation. Do not come
- 18:20Speaker 12: into my job. Do not call me to do your
- 18:23Speaker 12: That's not gonna happen.

- 25:35Speaker 11: ways to fix it? Or will that be too embarrassing
- 25:38Speaker 11: for him?

- 26:22Speaker 8: If you stick it back down in that level, you
- 26:25Speaker 8: stick it back down in that phone, it wins.
- 26:30Speaker 3: Okay. So this is not a medical condition, you're saying, no, sir.
- 26:34Speaker 11: No, so, because that's how she wants to fix it.
- 26:38Speaker 11: But she doesn't want to embarrass him, and she likes him.

- 27:38Speaker 11: my five year old had a temper tantrum in church
- 27:41Speaker 11: after I took my phone away from her. My mother said,
- 27:44Speaker 11: I disrupted church for no reason. I'm trying to teach
- 27:47Speaker 11: my child how to behave at church without my phone
- 27:50Speaker 11: or iPad.
- 27:50Speaker 3: What's wrong with that?
- 27:52Speaker 2: Ain't nothing wrong? Well, but now we need to get
- 27:55Speaker 2: down and what's really wrong?
- 27:57Speaker 3: What's really wrong?
- 27:58Speaker 2: What's wrong the ass?

- 29:38Speaker 11: company agrees to sell it. While half of American adults

- 29:46Speaker 11: A majority of US adults do support the ban of
- 29:48Speaker 11: TikTok and US government devices. The biggest concerns about TikTok
- 29:53Speaker 11: are the amount of time that young children spend on
- 29:56Speaker 11: the app. The federal government is saying the Chinese government
- 29:59Speaker 11: is using it to spy on us. However, if the
- 30:03Speaker 11: band goes down, what happens to the thousands of influences
- 30:06Speaker 11: outs influencers out there. The TikTok economy actually generates millions
- 30:11Speaker 11: of dollars through advertising and other means, so a band
- 30:14Speaker 11: could be more than just an annoyance. Lawmaker said. The
- 30:19Speaker 11: bill is moving slowly in the Senate because they are
- 30:22Speaker 11: more divided on the issue, so it can possibly happen.
- 30:27Speaker 11: A ban on TikTok.

- 31:17Speaker 11: ninety eight percent of these tattoos, ninety seven percent, almost
- 31:22Speaker 11: all of them like core philosophies.
- 31:24Speaker 3: I root it, and I root it my life.
- 31:25Speaker 11: And when I was seventeen, and now that I'm forty,
- 31:28Speaker 11: I'm like, what the blank was I thinking? The jelly
- 31:33Speaker 11: Roll has a misspelling on one of its tattoos. It
- 31:36Speaker 11: was supposed to say surviving the struggle, but they forgot
- 31:40Speaker 11: the tea and it says, surviving the struggle.
- 31:44Speaker 5: What so.

- 33:11Speaker 5: You should get your mustache your logo on. Now that's
- 33:14Speaker 5: you get that'd be good. It was a family on
- 33:16Speaker 5: family a few two weeks ago. All of them got
- 33:19Speaker 5: tattoos of me when they found out they was coming
- 33:21Speaker 5: on the show What the Girl and the girl is

- 36:27Speaker 11: At an auto industry rally in Ohio, Trump made the
- 36:31Speaker 11: remarks while speaking about the possibility of an increasing trade
- 36:34Speaker 11: war with China over auto manufacturing. He said, quote, now,
- 36:39Speaker 11: if I don't get elected, it's going to be a
- 36:41Speaker 11: blood bath for the whole that's going to be the
- 36:44Speaker 11: least of it.
- 36:44Speaker 3: He added, it's going to be a blood bath for
- 36:47Speaker 3: the country.
- 36:47Speaker 11: That will be the least of it. But they're not
- 36:50Speaker 11: going to sell those cars. They're building massive factories, So
- 36:53Speaker 11: his bloodbath comment is about the auto industry.
- 36:57Speaker 3: Following his remark.
- 36:59Speaker 11: Trump's niece Mary Trump took to x formerly Twitter, of course,
- 37:03Speaker 11: to warn others of the seriousness of her uncle's statement.
- 37:06Speaker 11: She said, Donald Trump does not deserve the benefit of
- 37:09Speaker 11: the doubt, and this isn't a blanking joke. His statement
- 37:14Speaker 11: is both a threat and a promise. The corporate media
- 37:17Speaker 11: needs to start acting accordingly. In other words, believe what
- 37:22Speaker 11: you're here.
- 37:22Speaker 3: If he says it, believes.
- 37:23Speaker 8: He's not that bright to mean something else. He don't
- 37:27Speaker 8: do double connotations. He said exactly what he's thinking. Yeah,
- 37:31Speaker 8: this man right here said it. If he don't win
- 37:35Speaker 8: the election, it's going to be a blood bath. And
- 37:37Speaker 8: that's the least of it. He showed you that before. Yes,
- 37:41Speaker 8: I don't know, but you know, it's just I don't
- 37:46Speaker 8: care what he says. These fools are going to vote
- 37:51Speaker 8: for him. Yeah, because they are just as immoral as
- 37:55Speaker 8: he is. And for those of us that care about
- 37:58Speaker 8: our children, I grant you, we got to get out
- 38:02Speaker 8: to vote.
- 38:03Speaker 2: Look, man, this got buff Steve.
- 38:05Speaker 11: What what about the people who are saying, oh, he
- 38:08Speaker 11: can't possibly mean that a blood beth.
- 38:10Speaker 3: Come on, he's gonna be Come.
- 38:12Speaker 8: On in broad daylight, go down there and storm the capitol.
- 38:19Speaker 3: Who you saw the people, yeah.
- 38:23Speaker 8: Q nine, all of them organizations, proud boys, everybody was
- 38:27Speaker 8: down there.
- 38:28Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, but they saw it. They still don't believe it.
- 38:32Speaker 8: But listen for him to be talking about pardoning these
- 38:36Speaker 8: people the day he gets in.
- 38:38Speaker 2: He's gonna pardon all of these people.
- 38:40Speaker 8: So now, all those police officers that lost their lives,
- 38:45Speaker 8: all those people that were injured and killed, all those
- 38:49Speaker 8: people's lives who were threatened, that means nothing because you
- 38:54Speaker 8: feel as though they were down there on your behalf.
- 38:57Speaker 8: And he's telling you if he don't win this, there
- 39:00Speaker 8: never will be another one in this country? Are people
- 39:03Speaker 8: not listening to Everything he's saying is self serving? There
- 39:06Speaker 8: is nothing he's saying for the good of the country.
- 39:10Speaker 8: Everything this man says is to benefit him.

- 45:31Speaker 5: ill to see if y'all can do something man, where
- 45:36Speaker 5: y'all can pick up I mean, my mom and them
- 45:38Speaker 5: have got a little older. You know, we've been picking
- 45:40Speaker 5: them up for a long time. But I need somebody to, like,
- 45:43Speaker 5: maybe you can cut the limbs back that's hanging over
- 45:46Speaker 5: so that they won't you know, the pecans won't be
- 45:49Speaker 5: falling over into my mom and them yard, cause you know,

- 46:37Speaker 2: You know what I'm saying.
- 46:38Speaker 5: I mean, if you just it don't seem no more
- 46:40Speaker 5: than like maybe four or five limbs that's hanging over there.
- 46:43Speaker 5: But they're four or five limbs, I mean they there's
- 46:45Speaker 5: a lot of pecans falling off of that.
- 46:48Speaker 9: So mava con tree is shady. I goes back there,

- 47:06Speaker 5: tree down. I just want you to cut a few limbs, sir,
- 47:09Speaker 5: so you know those that way that those are the
- 47:11Speaker 5: ones that are hanging over it won't be you know,
- 47:13Speaker 5: the pecans won't be falling over into my mom's them yard.
- 47:16Speaker 5: And and you know, like I say, they are older now, man,
- 47:19Speaker 5: they can't be bending over like that. So you know,
- 47:21Speaker 5: I'm I'm just coming to you as a man right
- 47:24Speaker 5: now and asking you will you please cut this down?

- 54:12Speaker 2: We got it for you here it in strawberry.
- 54:14Speaker 11: Letter Thank you nephew's subject. She has no idea what
- 54:17Speaker 11: he's doing. Here's Stephen Shirley. I'm a thirty four year
- 54:20Speaker 11: old married woman and I'm staying at my cousin's house
- 54:23Speaker 11: temporarily while I'm working on a project in Austin. My
- 54:28Speaker 11: cousin is fifty two and her husband is forty eight.
- 54:31Speaker 11: My room is on the other side of their house,
- 54:33Speaker 11: by the kitchen. I've heard my cousin's husband on the
- 54:36Speaker 11: phone mumbling late at night, darn near every night since
- 54:40Speaker 11: I've been staying with them. He's usually on the couch
- 54:43Speaker 11: every night until three am, and then he goes to bed.
- 54:46Speaker 11: My cousin is up and out early in the morning
- 54:48Speaker 11: for work, and then her hubby is free to FaceTime
- 54:52Speaker 11: some woman that has an annoying laugh. She's tickled by
- 54:56Speaker 11: everything my cousin's husband tells her. I can't hear all
- 54:59Speaker 11: of it conversation. I just hear her giggling. I've seen
- 55:03Speaker 11: him come in from work, hanging up the phone as
- 55:07Speaker 11: he reaches the back door. The worst part was running
- 55:10Speaker 11: into him recently at the grocery store's seafood counter. I
- 55:14Speaker 11: playfully said. I was surprised to see him in the
- 55:16Speaker 11: store and asked if he was cooking dinner. He told me, yes,
- 55:19Speaker 11: he was making dinner, but not at home. I almost choked.
- 55:23Speaker 11: He beat me to the house and he was in
- 55:25Speaker 11: the showers, so I assumed he was joking. When I
- 55:28Speaker 11: saw him in the grocery store, I went and peeked
- 55:30Speaker 11: in his car, and the grocery bags were on the
- 55:34Speaker 11: back seat. Around seven thirty pm, he threw on a
- 55:37Speaker 11: sweatsuit and headed out. I decided to ask my cousin
- 55:40Speaker 11: if she knew where he went. She said he was
- 55:42Speaker 11: going to the gym so he wouldn't have to get
- 55:44Speaker 11: up early in the morning to go. He walked in
- 55:47Speaker 11: at two am and slept on the couch. My cousin
- 55:50Speaker 11: has no idea.
- 55:51Speaker 3: What he thinks he's doing.
- 55:53Speaker 11: Is it best to stay out of this or can
- 55:55Speaker 11: I give her a few pints? Well, I mean, come on,
- 55:59Speaker 11: I think you already know the answer to your own question.
- 56:02Speaker 11: And I think you know what Steve and I are
- 56:04Speaker 11: going to say. We're going to say, this is not
- 56:06Speaker 11: your business.
- 56:06Speaker 3: Of course. Yeah, you're staying at their house.
- 56:08Speaker 2: That's what I'm gonna say.
- 56:10Speaker 11: Yeah, and that's what I'm saying as well. I know
- 56:13Speaker 11: you think you should be doing something because this is
- 56:15Speaker 11: your cousin you want to help. You feel compelled, you know,
- 56:20Speaker 11: to help her see this loser of a husband she
- 56:22Speaker 11: has for who he really is.
- 56:24Speaker 3: But you have to stay out of this.
- 56:25Speaker 11: Come on, now, your cousin is going to end up
- 56:28Speaker 11: having some sort of misplaced anger towards you, you know,
- 56:32Speaker 11: and getting mad at you for telling her all of this.
- 56:36Speaker 11: You'll get put out and you won't be able to
- 56:38Speaker 11: finish your project that you're doing. That's the reason you're
- 56:41Speaker 11: staying in the house in the first place. I say
- 56:44Speaker 11: you stay focused on what you came therefore, hurry up
- 56:47Speaker 11: and finish so you can get out of the house asap.
- 56:50Speaker 11: That is the only thing you should be concerned about
- 56:52Speaker 11: right now. Whatever he's doing buying breakfast, I mean he
- 56:56Speaker 11: buying a dinner and all that he's with his cheating,
- 57:01Speaker 11: She's bound to see what's what he's doing if she
- 57:04Speaker 11: even cares before too long. Anyway, you don't have to
- 57:06Speaker 11: have anything to do with that who leaves groceries in
- 57:09Speaker 11: the car and bags.
- 57:11Speaker 3: I mean, your.
- 57:12Speaker 11: Cousin and her husband are going to have to figure
- 57:14Speaker 11: this out on their own. They do not need your help, Steve.
- 57:20Speaker 2: Oh can we do another letter? Can we? Can? We
- 57:28Speaker 2: just do another letter?
- 57:30Speaker 3: It's so odd one we have for today? Just do it.
- 57:33Speaker 2: It's just so obvious, though, Why are we?
- 57:35Speaker 3: Yeah? It is of course.
- 57:39Speaker 2: How many times have we had to tell people?
- 57:44Speaker 8: Mostly me though, because Shirley will switch up on you
- 57:48Speaker 8: in a minute. Shirley would yes about me, just give
- 57:52Speaker 8: your Well, I'm just saying I was really surprised because
- 57:55Speaker 8: Shirley will, girl, you have to tell her.
- 57:58Speaker 2: I've heard you do.
- 57:59Speaker 3: It maybe a long, long long time ago. Maybe.
- 58:03Speaker 2: Oh so what has changed?
- 58:06Speaker 3: This is not about me just giving me will?
- 58:08Speaker 2: It's about this. Let we gotta do something because the
- 58:10Speaker 2: letter ain't nothing you doing?
- 58:12Speaker 3: Glasses?
- 58:13Speaker 1: Yeah, no, these are off.
- 58:17Speaker 2: These ain't got nothing to do with this letter?
- 58:19Speaker 3: Oh really?
- 58:21Speaker 2: I bug the glasses online?
- 58:23Speaker 3: Okay, they're cute.
- 58:25Speaker 8: I actually did the face fitting in and everything. I
- 58:32Speaker 8: don't have nothing to do that day. Nothing.
- 58:35Speaker 3: Back to the letter.
- 58:36Speaker 8: You're a thirty four year old married woman. You're staying
- 58:39Speaker 8: at your cousin's house temporarily. You need to get out now,
- 58:45Speaker 8: you say, your cousin fifty two and her husband is
- 58:47Speaker 8: forty eight. Now, all of this stuff you're doing really technically, technically,
- 58:54Speaker 8: it's speculation.
- 58:57Speaker 2: Technically, And I'll tell you why. I've heard my.
- 59:01Speaker 8: Cousin's husband on the phone mumbling at night, okay, what
- 59:06Speaker 8: he say? What he say? Was he planning a birthday
- 59:13Speaker 8: surprise for his wife? Was he playing in an anniversary
- 59:17Speaker 8: surprise for his wife? He was mumbling, lay that night?
- 59:21Speaker 8: What did he say? Cause you don't know. And it's
- 59:27Speaker 8: every night since I've been staying with him. He's usually
- 59:30Speaker 8: on the couch every night to three of them, and
- 59:31Speaker 8: then he go to bed. My cousin is up earlier
- 59:35Speaker 8: and going out for work when her husband free to
- 59:37Speaker 8: FaceTime some woman that has an annoying laugh. So now
- 59:42Speaker 8: you don't know what they say at night, and you
- 59:44Speaker 8: don't know what she laughing at during the daytime. But
- 59:47Speaker 8: it's an annoying laugh. She's tickled by everything my husband
- 59:53Speaker 8: tells her, but you don't know what he's telling her.
- 59:57Speaker 8: I can't hear all the convers sations, Jess hug Gigli, Lady,
- 1:00:04Speaker 8: this is a letter full of speculation. You don't even
- 1:00:10Speaker 8: know what they say it and you've admitted it three
- 1:00:14Speaker 8: times already. I've seen him come here for work. Hang
- 1:00:19Speaker 8: up the phone as he reaches the back note. So
- 1:00:21Speaker 8: now you don't even know what he said outside either.
- 1:00:26Speaker 3: Hang on, Steve, hay On.
- 1:00:28Speaker 11: We'll have part two of your response coming up at
- 1:00:31Speaker 11: twenty three minutes after the hour. Today's Strawberry letter, subject
- 1:00:34Speaker 11: she has no idea what he's doing. We'll get back
- 1:00:37Speaker 11: into it. Get Steve's response at twenty three minutes right
- 1:00:41Speaker 11: after this. You're listening.
- 1:00:44Speaker 3: Morning show.
- 1:00:45Speaker 11: All right, Come on, Steve, let's recap today's Strawberry letter.
- 1:00:48Speaker 11: The subject is she has no idea what he's doing.
- 1:00:52Speaker 8: Yeah, but then you don't either, because according to this letter,
- 1:00:55Speaker 8: you don't know a damn thing either.
- 1:00:57Speaker 2: Now let's go into this letter.
- 1:00:59Speaker 8: You stand at your cousins house because you're working on
- 1:01:01Speaker 8: a project down in Austin. She fifty two, her husband
- 1:01:04Speaker 8: forty eight. You thirty four. My room on the other
- 1:01:07Speaker 8: side of the house by the kitchen. Now listen to this.
- 1:01:11Speaker 8: I dodn've heard my cousin's husband on the phone mumbling
- 1:01:13Speaker 8: that night. Okay, what he say?
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: Huh?
- 1:01:16Speaker 8: You don't know because he mumbling and damnitar every night
- 1:01:18Speaker 8: since I've been staying there. He's usually on the couch
- 1:01:20Speaker 8: every night to three of them, and then he go
- 1:01:22Speaker 8: to bed. My cousin up in early after the house,
- 1:01:25Speaker 8: going to work, mornings, going to work, and her husband
- 1:01:28Speaker 8: free to FaceTime some woman that has an annoying laugh. Okay,
- 1:01:32Speaker 8: what she laughing at? You don't know that either. She's
- 1:01:36Speaker 8: tickled by everything my husband tells her husband. She's tickled
- 1:01:40Speaker 8: by everything my cousin husbands tell her. I can't hear
- 1:01:44Speaker 8: all the conversations. What, Oh, you can't, So you still
- 1:01:51Speaker 8: don't know what's being said, what's being discussed. You don't
- 1:01:54Speaker 8: know nothing. I just hear her giggling. That's it. So
- 1:01:59Speaker 8: now you you're gonna break up the massage over some
- 1:02:01Speaker 8: giggling and some mumblet and you don't know what nobody said.
- 1:02:07Speaker 8: I've seen him come home from work. Hang up the
- 1:02:09Speaker 8: phone as he reaches the back door. Oh, he outside talking.
- 1:02:12Speaker 8: Now you don't know who he talking to on that
- 1:02:15Speaker 8: phone when he reached the back door. It could be her,
- 1:02:20Speaker 8: but you don't know that. It could be a business call,
- 1:02:24Speaker 8: but you don't know. It could be his boy. He
- 1:02:26Speaker 8: could be buying some weed.
- 1:02:28Speaker 2: You don't know that.
- 1:02:30Speaker 8: You see what I'm saying the worst part though, what
- 1:02:35Speaker 8: she thinks she got some information. I ran her to
- 1:02:37Speaker 8: him at Richly at the grocery store seafood counter. I
- 1:02:41Speaker 8: playfully said, I'm surprised to see you at the stove.
- 1:02:44Speaker 8: I asked if he was cooking dinner. He said, yeah,
- 1:02:47Speaker 8: he making dinner, but not at home. Oh, truth, truth, Yeah,
- 1:02:52Speaker 8: I'm making dinner, but not at home. I almost choked.
- 1:02:57Speaker 8: He beat me to the house and he was in
- 1:02:59Speaker 8: the shower, so I assumed he was joking.
- 1:03:02Speaker 2: Well, he wasn't.
- 1:03:03Speaker 8: When I saw him at the grocery store, I went
- 1:03:05Speaker 8: and peecked in his car and the grocery bags was
- 1:03:07Speaker 8: on the back seat. Okay, what's the problem. He told
- 1:03:11Speaker 8: you he was cooking dinner, but not at home. So
- 1:03:15Speaker 8: around seven thirty, he threw on a sweatsuit and headed out.
- 1:03:19Speaker 8: I decided to ask my cousin if she knew that
- 1:03:23Speaker 8: where he went. She said he was going to the
- 1:03:25Speaker 8: gym so he wouldn't have to get up early in
- 1:03:27Speaker 8: the morning. Okay, so he was heading to the gym
- 1:03:32Speaker 8: with his sweatsuit on. He walked in at two am
- 1:03:36Speaker 8: and slept on the couch.
- 1:03:42Speaker 2: Long time.
- 1:03:43Speaker 8: At the gym, then after you go to the gym,
- 1:03:45Speaker 8: you gotta go eat somewhere. So he took the seafood
- 1:03:49Speaker 8: and he made dinner wherever he made it at. Somebody
- 1:03:54Speaker 8: told me one time, the lifestyle got kitchens in it. Really,
- 1:04:04Speaker 8: somebody told me somewhere Lifestyle got it. You can do
- 1:04:07Speaker 8: your hair down the lifestyle. You're a little facial down
- 1:04:11Speaker 8: the lifesty. Somebody told me that. I ain't never been
- 1:04:14Speaker 8: in the lifestyle, but somebody, just somebody just told me that.
- 1:04:16Speaker 8: They say you can do. You can rint an office
- 1:04:18Speaker 8: down at lifestyle. They got snack bars and everything that lifestyle.
- 1:04:25Speaker 11: So you just go to the grocery store, get your dinner,
- 1:04:27Speaker 11: cook it there, work out, get your hair.
- 1:04:29Speaker 8: Down that lifestyle. Some lifestyle gyms is open twenty four hours.
- 1:04:36Speaker 8: He walked in at two am and slept on the couch.
- 1:04:39Speaker 8: My cousin has no idea what he's doing, and you
- 1:04:42Speaker 8: don't either. You have no clue. You speculating, but you
- 1:04:48Speaker 8: ain't heard him say nothing. You ain't heard him talk
- 1:04:51Speaker 8: to no woman. You know there's a woman on the
- 1:04:53Speaker 8: phone giggling, but you can't hear no conversations. He hang
- 1:04:57Speaker 8: up the phone. When you get in the back door.
- 1:04:59Speaker 8: I got it, oh, I oh, oh, I got how
- 1:05:02Speaker 8: he looks. I see exactly how it looks. And one
- 1:05:07Speaker 8: and one is two. Yeah, But the problem is you
- 1:05:11Speaker 8: doing arithmetic, not her. Is it best to stay out
- 1:05:15Speaker 8: of this? So can I give her a few hits? Yeah,
- 1:05:17Speaker 8: gonna give her some hits. You a gonna be out
- 1:05:19Speaker 8: of Austin though, I tell you that right now. I'm
- 1:05:25Speaker 8: gonna tell you that right now. Yo. He spent your
- 1:05:28Speaker 8: last days in Austin, gonna get your little money together
- 1:05:31Speaker 8: for the hotel and everything. But now, what are you
- 1:05:34Speaker 8: gonna tell your cousin?
- 1:05:35Speaker 3: Right?
- 1:05:36Speaker 2: He'd be on the phone at night.
- 1:05:38Speaker 8: I know, girl, he got a business. He'd be mumbling
- 1:05:42Speaker 8: he don't want to wake everybody up. He hang on
- 1:05:44Speaker 8: the phone before he comes through the back door. He
- 1:05:47Speaker 8: trying to spend quality time in here, trying to put
- 1:05:50Speaker 8: a gross job home. He went down at the grocery
- 1:05:53Speaker 8: store and bought some seafood, and he go where did
- 1:05:56Speaker 8: he take it to? He told you he was going
- 1:06:02Speaker 8: to cook dinner somewhere. Yeh uh, huh, Well where where
- 1:06:07Speaker 8: did he go?
- 1:06:09Speaker 6: Oh?
- 1:06:09Speaker 3: No, I thought you knew.
- 1:06:12Speaker 2: See, lady, it ain't add no for you.
- 1:06:17Speaker 8: Now, if this is the wife writing a letter, Shirley
- 1:06:20Speaker 8: would have a whole nother answer for her.
- 1:06:23Speaker 2: Girl. Leave him. You know what's going on with you? Yeah?
- 1:06:28Speaker 8: No, no, I still say a speculation because you need

- 1:09:17Speaker 8: of the great HBCUs. I believe they turned out some
- 1:09:20Speaker 8: masterful people. The vice president from my Howard University. I
- 1:09:24Speaker 8: believe in Howard University. Okay, yes, but we're talking about basketball.
- 1:09:28Speaker 10: Team they about to play tonight.
- 1:09:35Speaker 1: Up you go down, be watching and rooting.
- 1:09:38Speaker 2: I ain't killing their dreams. I hope they do win.
- 1:09:41Speaker 2: But come on now, tell university, come on you.
- 1:09:53Speaker 3: Yeah, all right, for you gave it a good try.
- 1:09:58Speaker 3: Thank you.
- 1:09:59Speaker 11: Coming up next to the on top of the hour, Steve,
- 1:10:01Speaker 11: a man on social media, needs your advice. He says
- 1:10:03Speaker 11: his boss's nephew is his new coworker and he is whack.
- 1:10:11Speaker 11: We'll talk about that right after this is this our show?
- 1:10:14Speaker 1: Wait about.
- 1:10:17Speaker 3: You're listening morning show?
- 1:10:22Speaker 1: All right?
- 1:10:22Speaker 11: So Steve, this is from James on Steve Harvey FM.
- 1:10:26Speaker 11: He says, I work in the office at a family
- 1:10:28Speaker 11: business and my boss just hired his teenage nephew to
- 1:10:31Speaker 11: work with me.
- 1:10:33Speaker 3: The kid is the worst entitled.
- 1:10:35Speaker 11: He's entitled and lazy and seems like he doesn't even
- 1:10:38Speaker 11: want to be there. My boss is expecting me to
- 1:10:40Speaker 11: help him get started and teach him the ropes, but
- 1:10:43Speaker 11: the kid has no interest in doing the job the
- 1:10:46Speaker 11: way it needs to be done. I'm having to walk
- 1:10:48Speaker 11: a narrow path here being nice to this kid and
- 1:10:52Speaker 11: doing right by my boss. But how long do I
- 1:10:55Speaker 11: let this go on before I tell my boss that
- 1:10:57Speaker 11: his nephew isn't a good worker. I feel like it
- 1:11:01Speaker 11: might be me who ends up losing out in this situation.
- 1:11:03Speaker 11: And it's a shame because if my boss expects his
- 1:11:06Speaker 11: nephew to do the job, the business is going to suffer.
- 1:11:10Speaker 3: What should I do his nephew.
- 1:11:12Speaker 8: Well, I'm gonna tell you right now. You're gonna hang
- 1:11:13Speaker 8: in there at least twenty years.
- 1:11:16Speaker 2: At least that's how long I've.
- 1:11:19Speaker 3: Had speaking from experience, are we.
- 1:11:22Speaker 2: I had my nephew call my sister a same damn thing.
- 1:11:28Speaker 3: But it wasn't a teenager though Telly was grown.
- 1:11:33Speaker 2: Yeah, but how he acted though.
- 1:11:37Speaker 3: Adolescent?
- 1:11:41Speaker 2: So what should he do?
- 1:11:42Speaker 1: He just gotta deal with it, that's what dog.
- 1:11:45Speaker 8: Ain't nothing you can do. It's his nephew. You see
- 1:11:48Speaker 8: what I've been going through? This food and come work.
- 1:11:50Speaker 2: Out the day.
- 1:11:51Speaker 1: I know yesterday he just popped.
- 1:11:55Speaker 2: No, I've been dealing with this forever.
- 1:11:58Speaker 3: Remember he used to call from his bed.
- 1:12:01Speaker 2: He talk to you.
- 1:12:02Speaker 8: What you don't know is that the lady and they
- 1:12:05Speaker 8: all asked me, what you're gonna do about this.
- 1:12:09Speaker 6: We don't think it's fair Tommy, that you get special
- 1:12:12Speaker 6: treatment because you're his nephew.
- 1:12:15Speaker 3: Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa?
- 1:12:17Speaker 2: This hard left here? What's going on?
- 1:12:20Speaker 1: You work when you want to weekends?
- 1:12:21Speaker 5: We're talking about this seventeen year old boy. That's what
- 1:12:25Speaker 5: we're talking about.
- 1:12:26Speaker 11: We're not telling you learn by example, and we have
- 1:12:28Speaker 11: a great example on this show because we're.
- 1:12:31Speaker 8: Talking about a nephew that got hired by the boss.
- 1:12:36Speaker 3: It's stupid.
- 1:12:38Speaker 2: This sound just like.
- 1:12:42Speaker 1: It's not fair to the rest of the crew.
- 1:12:44Speaker 5: Uh huh. What do y'all want me to do? Not
- 1:12:47Speaker 5: be his nephew? What do you want me to do?
- 1:12:49Speaker 9: Do? Better?
- 1:12:51Speaker 2: Better? I'm doing all I can right now.
- 1:12:57Speaker 11: You don't think you're entitled. You know that you special treatment?
- 1:13:01Speaker 2: No, I think he's harder on me than he's he
- 1:13:05Speaker 2: is on y'all.
- 1:13:08Speaker 1: He not hard on us because we're here.
- 1:13:12Speaker 3: We come to work.
- 1:13:14Speaker 5: I came in alive about a few minutes later, and
- 1:13:16Speaker 5: y'all that's weighing, y'all live?
- 1:13:18Speaker 1: What is it our yesterday?
- 1:13:20Speaker 5: You were?
- 1:13:21Speaker 2: Why is you counting?
- 1:13:23Speaker 3: How long I'm here on Monday? I'm surprised he was
- 1:13:27Speaker 3: even here period.
- 1:13:28Speaker 5: And I'm surprised that mean too, because I should have
- 1:13:30Speaker 5: just told y'all I wouldn't coming, but I decided to
- 1:13:33Speaker 5: come on in anyway. And now y'all counting? Now I was
- 1:13:35Speaker 5: that I was here? Why is that?
- 1:13:38Speaker 3: That's mean? Shot?
- 1:13:41Speaker 11: You can you help this nephew?
- 1:13:46Speaker 2: I can't help this nephew? What Steve hell? I can't?
- 1:13:53Speaker 2: I called nepotism.
- 1:13:54Speaker 3: Yeah, nepotism.
- 1:13:55Speaker 2: It's called nepotism. That's all it is.
- 1:13:57Speaker 3: This baby he.
- 1:14:00Speaker 1: Has to suffer like we do on a daily basis.
- 1:14:02Speaker 2: Yeah, you're not suffering daily with me? What is this?
- 1:14:06Speaker 2: I don't say that. Don't say suffering, don't say.
- 1:14:11Speaker 3: He's listen. Here here's the line, listening.
- 1:14:15Speaker 2: Don't don't don't say suffering. He listening.
- 1:14:18Speaker 3: And it says he's stupid, that one of you.
- 1:14:20Speaker 2: I'm not stupid. And a minute going too far? Now
- 1:14:26Speaker 2: you're going too far. Now that you're not.
- 1:14:31Speaker 8: You're not gonna do your number one trade and act
- 1:14:33Speaker 8: like you ain't dead. That's what you're not gonna.
- 1:14:40Speaker 1: Do now you ready to drop a line?
- 1:14:44Speaker 11: I'm sorry, that wasn't stupid. I think I added that.
- 1:14:50Speaker 2: Nobody ever said you were smart? Nobody.
- 1:14:55Speaker 3: Darn it. We have to move on.
- 1:14:57Speaker 11: We'll have more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show coming
- 1:14:59Speaker 11: up in two minutes after the oubur Right after.
- 1:15:02Speaker 3: This, you're listening Hardy Morning Show.
- 1:15:09Speaker 11: Dallas native and world track star Chakari Richardson is one
- 1:15:12Speaker 11: of the new faces of Nike's new fashion collaboration with
- 1:15:15Speaker 11: the French band French brand Jacques Muse. In a commercial spot,
- 1:15:20Speaker 11: Chakai is slamming battle ropes on the floor. I don't
- 1:15:24Speaker 11: know if you guys have seen this, but these are
- 1:15:26Speaker 11: not battle ropes. They are her braids and the ropes
- 1:15:29Speaker 11: are woven into her own hair. There is also a
- 1:15:33Speaker 11: picture of Chikai on huge billboards in downtown Dallas. So
- 1:15:37Speaker 11: we got to say congratulations to the world record breaking
- 1:15:41Speaker 11: track star Chakari Richardson on her brand new Nike deal.
- 1:15:46Speaker 8: Well, she yes, that's what she's doing right now. She's
- 1:15:50Speaker 8: a comeback story. She's one of the great comeback stories

- 1:16:12Speaker 8: and it caused the media to turn on her and
- 1:16:15Speaker 8: not support her. Because I spoke to some high level
- 1:16:19Speaker 8: people in the media, I say, hey, man, why is
- 1:16:21Speaker 8: Sheikha Richardson not getting well?
- 1:16:23Speaker 2: You know, just down some things to the media.
- 1:16:26Speaker 8: But you know, look, man, when you're young, you got
- 1:16:29Speaker 8: to make decisions based on where you are and based
- 1:16:32Speaker 8: on what they did to her with that whole weed incident. Oh,
- 1:16:37Speaker 8: it was crazy what they did to that girl. She
- 1:16:40Speaker 8: kept the faith and she put into work. She's a
- 1:16:42Speaker 8: bad bass something man.
- 1:16:44Speaker 3: Congratulations once again to her.
