- 0:02Speaker 1: Y'all know what time of y'all don't know y'all back
- 0:09Speaker 1: a suit on, looking back to back down, giving them
- 0:13Speaker 1: more like amazing buck things. And it's not doing me
- 0:20Speaker 1: good to Steve hard to move to a steam. Please
- 0:37Speaker 1: by I don't join join me to be doing men.
- 0:58Speaker 1: You gotta turn, you gotta turn to turn them out.
- 1:43Speaker 1: Got to turn them out. Then the water, the water
- 1:55Speaker 1: come come on your back at it. Huh, I share
- 2:02Speaker 1: will good morning everybody. You're listening to the voice, come
- 2:06Speaker 1: on dig me now one it only Steve Harvey Man
- 2:09Speaker 1: got a radio show. Real glad about it too, you know. Um,
- 2:15Speaker 1: I hope that God always keeps me in the frame
- 2:20Speaker 1: of frame of mind to try to be sharing and
- 2:24Speaker 1: try to be motivational and even when it's not felt
- 2:30Speaker 1: or wanted by some people. I have people around me
- 2:34Speaker 1: who seem to not benefited off or anything, and I
- 2:37Speaker 1: can sit with them and talk to them or take
- 2:40Speaker 1: meetings with them to try to encourage them, and for
- 2:43Speaker 1: whatever reason, you know, they want to just keep going
- 2:45Speaker 1: the way they're going. When you run into people like that,
- 2:49Speaker 1: you have to pray for them. You have to just
- 2:50Speaker 1: hope that one day that they release the chains on
- 2:54Speaker 1: their mind and open up your mind to a new
- 2:56Speaker 1: way of thinking. A couple of things I wanted to
- 2:59Speaker 1: go over with it. I want you all today in
- 3:01Speaker 1: terms of motivation, I want you to be aware of
- 3:06Speaker 1: statements or old sayings that have been created that you
- 3:11Speaker 1: hear over the course of time, and you may be
- 3:15Speaker 1: applying them to your life. And I want you to
- 3:18Speaker 1: be careful of some of them because some of these
- 3:20Speaker 1: old sayings, man, are not designed for people who are dreamers,
- 3:27Speaker 1: are not designed for people who have any aspirations of
- 3:32Speaker 1: being extraordinary. These are not designs or sayings that people
- 3:38Speaker 1: who want to be extremely successful at anything or have
- 3:42Speaker 1: high aspirations to put these sayings into your life. Let
- 3:47Speaker 1: me give you an example. Statistics say that's it. That's
- 3:54Speaker 1: the one who want you to be careful about statistics, say,
- 4:00Speaker 1: be very careful of stats. When a person says, you
- 4:05Speaker 1: know statistics, say one out of every what see, listen
- 4:10Speaker 1: to me. These are things that sound like they're good,
- 4:13Speaker 1: sound solid advice, but they're setting you up for failure.
- 4:18Speaker 1: And you can't adhere yourself to a lot of these
- 4:22Speaker 1: sayings that's been passed down from generations and it's not scripture.
- 4:28Speaker 1: It ain't in the scripture nowhere that statistics say. It's
- 4:32Speaker 1: just some people and a lot of people who have
- 4:35Speaker 1: lost have come up with these sayings to justify why
- 4:40Speaker 1: they keep losing or why they lost. When I was
- 4:44Speaker 1: arst got started in the business, there were more stand
- 4:49Speaker 1: ups around now than it is today because the comedy
- 4:51Speaker 1: boom in eighty four eighty five was it was gaining
- 4:58Speaker 1: a lot of momentums, comedy clubs, comedy nights everywhere. The
- 5:02Speaker 1: statistic that a guy told me I told him I
- 5:06Speaker 1: wanted to be on the Johnny Carson Show, the Tonight Show.
- 5:12Speaker 1: The guy said, one out of every two thousand comedians
- 5:19Speaker 1: ever make it to the Tonight Show. Okay, Now, when
- 5:25Speaker 1: he told us that, some of the comedians in the
- 5:28Speaker 1: room went, well, wow, man, oh that's rough. Because a
- 5:33Speaker 1: guy had also said that there was approximately six thousand
- 5:38Speaker 1: comedians in the country at that time. I don't know
- 5:41Speaker 1: if it was true. I'm just telling you guy, without
- 5:43Speaker 1: the sputing numbers, I have no idea how many it was.
- 5:47Speaker 1: But he said, one in every two thousand will make
- 5:49Speaker 1: it to the Tonight Show. And he let the air
- 5:52Speaker 1: out of everybody in the room. Button be so every
- 5:56Speaker 1: night before I went on stage, I used to do
- 5:58Speaker 1: this right here, but Bampa da bada la la la
- 6:02Speaker 1: da badaampaa ba la la la da. That was the
- 6:07Speaker 1: tonight theme song. I was young, opening act know where
- 6:12Speaker 1: near Hollywood, didn't. I was in Cleveland telling jokes at
- 6:16Speaker 1: one night us. But that was my thing because I
- 6:19Speaker 1: was bent and determined that if it's one in two thousand, okay,
- 6:23Speaker 1: why don't I just be the one? Be careful when
- 6:26Speaker 1: people say so statistics say because they are set up
- 6:30Speaker 1: to ful failure. If you're gonna adhere to him. See
- 6:33Speaker 1: that one in so many? It was wasn't so many
- 6:35Speaker 1: people win the lottery. But if you don't play the lottery,
- 6:37Speaker 1: you ain't gonna be the one to hit. Now when
- 6:39Speaker 1: the dude hit you go while he was lucky, but
- 6:41Speaker 1: he played. Here's another one. Maybe it's not meant to
- 6:46Speaker 1: be right. Let's go one step further. I guess it
- 6:50Speaker 1: wasn't the Lord's will. Don't you dare blame God for
- 6:55Speaker 1: something you may have not done yourself because you didn't
- 7:00Speaker 1: get the proper education, because you didn't do the things
- 7:04Speaker 1: you were supposed to do, because you didn't stay to
- 7:07Speaker 1: the task because you quit, turned around and went the
- 7:10Speaker 1: other way. Now, maybe it's not It wasn't the lord's will.
- 7:14Speaker 1: These are all statements that sound like sound advice, but
- 7:20Speaker 1: they ain't all the time, got nothing to do with you.
- 7:24Speaker 1: Stop letting these old fogy sayings get in your way
- 7:28Speaker 1: of what can happen in your life. Don't put all
- 7:33Speaker 1: your eggs in one basket? Who came up with this?
- 7:39Speaker 1: Who came over with the If you don't pour all
- 7:42Speaker 1: your efforts into one thing, how are you gonna be
- 7:45Speaker 1: great at that one thing? If Kobe Bryant, Michael Jordans,
- 7:50Speaker 1: Magic Johnson, Larry Bird had not played basketball sun up
- 7:54Speaker 1: to sundown. Magic Johnson didn't go to Michigan to get
- 7:59Speaker 1: an education. Lad Burry didn't go to Indiana to get
- 8:03Speaker 1: an education. These casts was bawling. Michael Jordan didn't go
- 8:07Speaker 1: to North Carolina to get an education. They went to
- 8:10Speaker 1: play ball. They went to do one thing. Tiger Woods
- 8:14Speaker 1: didn't go to Stanford to get an education. He went
- 8:18Speaker 1: to play golf. Soon as he got good enough, he'd gone.
- 8:22Speaker 1: These are guys that put all their eggs in one basket.
- 8:27Speaker 1: See what's what's cool with putting all your eggs in
- 8:29Speaker 1: one basket. Is you now can maximize your effort and
- 8:33Speaker 1: laser beam what you're doing. Your problem is all you
- 8:37Speaker 1: gotta do is make sure what is your basket made
- 8:40Speaker 1: out of. If your basket is made out of faith, hope,
- 8:46Speaker 1: hard work, and belief, then guess what, that's a good basket.
- 8:50Speaker 1: I'm dumping all mine in it because ever since I
- 8:53Speaker 1: was a young dude, I've been telling jokes. One thing,
- 8:56Speaker 1: one thing only. Even when he got ugly and I
- 8:59Speaker 1: was living in a car, I never quit telling them jokes. Man.
- 9:02Speaker 1: I just kept believing that them jokes was gonna pay
- 9:05Speaker 1: me one day, and I'll be dog gone if it didn't.
- 9:08Speaker 1: I ain't take no time off. Go work at to Walmart,
- 9:11Speaker 1: give me a job, go back to Forward and beg
- 9:13Speaker 1: for my job back. Hey man, put all your eggs
- 9:17Speaker 1: in a basket. Just make sure that your basket is
- 9:19Speaker 1: made up of faith, hope, belief, hard work. Your basket
- 9:25Speaker 1: woven by God. What you're tripping for, you're defeating yourself.
- 9:29Speaker 1: Where is your faith? Where is your belief? Where is
- 9:33Speaker 1: your trust? At one point in time, you got to
- 9:36Speaker 1: believe that God could do what he say gonna do
- 9:38Speaker 1: because he didn't done it for others, He'll most certainly
- 9:41Speaker 1: do it for you. Be careful of these sayings that's
- 9:44Speaker 1: out here, that's aligned by losers and people to justify
- 9:48Speaker 1: why they are not succeeded. Don't apply this stuff to
- 9:51Speaker 1: your life. And it ain't got nothing to do with you.
- 9:53Speaker 1: You're gonna mess yourself up, all right. Okay, you're listening
- 9:58Speaker 1: to show. Ladies and gentlemen, man, have your undivided attention. Please,
- 10:04Speaker 1: it's time showtime. It's upon us. It's that time of
- 10:09Speaker 1: the day. It's that time of the day. It's the

- 11:20Speaker 1: oh yeah, I gotta notice, said do you know him?
- 11:28Speaker 1: And I thought that The notes said do you take
- 11:31Speaker 1: little yacht trips? And I went, yeah, from time to time?
- 11:35Speaker 1: So you know him from time to time? No, I no, okay, right,
- 11:45Speaker 1: whats so your answer was yes to them you knew
- 11:49Speaker 1: him from time to time? Yeah? Yeah, I just said
- 11:52Speaker 1: from time to time. Yeah, I don't really care for
- 11:55Speaker 1: little yachts, but I take little yacht trips. Still a yacht? Yeah,
- 12:00Speaker 1: come to find out, you know that's a guy and
- 12:03Speaker 1: he's rap star. So I'll meet him this weekend. Oh good?

- 12:10Speaker 1: weekend and a few of them folks, and uh, that'll
- 12:15Speaker 1: be it. Then I'll take a little time off, just
- 12:17Speaker 1: for a week or two, and then this showtime old
- 12:21Speaker 1: cracking and baby full season of all celebrity family feud.
- 12:26Speaker 1: That'll be it only cracking. Now, when does the African
- 12:30Speaker 1: Family Feud start? It starts airing in April. Okay, it
- 12:34Speaker 1: starts at the fifth that the clips with Yeah, you
- 12:37Speaker 1: won't be able to see it on TV anywhere, but
- 12:40Speaker 1: the clips though, I will make them accessible in y'all
- 12:46Speaker 1: on social media. Man, you better come on now. Lord
- 12:50Speaker 1: just fit to be ignorant or right, Hill, I just
- 13:01Speaker 1: the I look forward to the accidents. But do you
- 13:04Speaker 1: know what's really weird? Was I was the one with
- 13:07Speaker 1: the accent? Well, yeah, everybody in the crowd knew everything
- 13:11Speaker 1: they were talking about. I'm just looking just at dumb
- 13:14Speaker 1: and the names Lord, her messages. I walk up to
- 13:17Speaker 1: people and just start squinton hyper ventilating. Man, I was
- 13:23Speaker 1: practicing walking up to him. I ain't know what to do.
- 13:27Speaker 1: All right, Steve, Well hang on coming up at thirty
- 13:30Speaker 1: two minutes after the hour. It's your favorite segment, it's
- 13:32Speaker 1: asked Steven. Let's go Freddy, we'll be back right after this.
- 13:37Speaker 1: You're listening, all right, Steve. Time now for your favorite segment.
- 13:43Speaker 1: It is time for ask Steve. I do ask Steve
- 13:46Speaker 1: that you keep your answers if you want to just
- 13:50Speaker 1: go ahead, why don't you keep your questions show? How
- 13:53Speaker 1: about that? Go ahead? All right? Lucy attitude? Okay, here
- 13:57Speaker 1: we go. First question asked Steve. So, Steve, would you
- 14:01Speaker 1: rather be the Godfather of Harlem, Godfather Hallan or Braveheart?
- 14:10Speaker 1: Oh Godfather Halo? Okay, because I know Braveheart is one
- 14:13Speaker 1: of your all time favorites. That's one of my favorite movie.
- 14:15Speaker 1: But I don't want to ride no horse and no
- 14:17Speaker 1: damn dress, no with the skirt and get busted in
- 14:26Speaker 1: my head with no damn amble what I want to do? Yeah,
- 14:31Speaker 1: I didn't want to be in the movie now I
- 14:34Speaker 1: don't want to do that Godfather of Harliament And they
- 14:38Speaker 1: have been renewed, as I understand it, for a second
- 14:40Speaker 1: season coming up. They definitely deserve it, for as Whittaker
- 14:45Speaker 1: is a beast as Bumby Johnson for sure. Yeah, okay,
- 14:50Speaker 1: come on here, Junior, you ready? Yeah? What is the
- 14:53Speaker 1: stupidest thing and used to stand you've purchased so far?
- 14:57Speaker 1: What the stupidest and useless thing you've purchased so far?
- 15:01Speaker 1: I ain't did that everything. I stopped making stupid, purposeless
- 15:07Speaker 1: purchases long time ago. A matter of fact, I ain't
- 15:11Speaker 1: really bought nothing stupid and in my damn life, I
- 15:15Speaker 1: come out of poverty. Son, I've been having to come
- 15:19Speaker 1: up your whole life. Yeah, everything I've spent money on
- 15:24Speaker 1: I thought had a purpose and made perfect damn sense.
- 15:28Speaker 1: So I can assure you I ain't done that lately.
- 15:31Speaker 1: Hell no, all right, Carla, next question, Come on, all right.
- 15:37Speaker 1: Valentine's Day is Friday. So you've been married for a while, Steve,
- 15:43Speaker 1: What what about marriage? Were you not expecting the amount
- 15:49Speaker 1: of effort that it took to go into it, the
- 15:53Speaker 1: shield damn velocity and the frequency of thought that you
- 15:59Speaker 1: had to put in to talk that I have time
- 16:03Speaker 1: to my damn self and not did that ain't happening.
- 16:07Speaker 1: I thought I could continue to do some of the
- 16:10Speaker 1: things I wanted to do that ain't happening. I didn't
- 16:16Speaker 1: know I had to listen to another person's problems whenever
- 16:20Speaker 1: they wanted to bring it up, even if I'm watching TV.
- 16:24Speaker 1: I didn't know. Yes, yeah, it's a job. Oh, I
- 16:29Speaker 1: didn't know that you had to go and where they
- 16:32Speaker 1: wanted to go, or else they put stick their lips
- 16:35Speaker 1: out of if they don't get to go there being damned.
- 16:47Speaker 1: Let me see what I got. Let's just just something real.
- 16:51Speaker 1: What were you afraid of as a child? Nothing? Never
- 16:56Speaker 1: really been afraid of nothing. I mean whipping. I ain't
- 17:00Speaker 1: gonna know WHI y'all call him, spank him David whippings
- 17:03Speaker 1: at my house. I didn't want no whipping, That's all
- 17:06Speaker 1: I Yeah. I was scared of the last sang attendant toil.
- 17:10Speaker 1: We jumped his ass together, me and my nephew him.
- 17:15Speaker 1: Oh and I was scared of King scared too. Other
- 17:24Speaker 1: than that, that was pretty much it like. I wasn't
- 17:26Speaker 1: afraid of lighten in and stuff like all like that.
- 17:32Speaker 1: I ain't had none of them hangers. That's pop teen pope.
- 17:40Speaker 1: All right. Um so Steve, you've been giving us a
- 17:44Speaker 1: romantic Valentine suggestions, you know, on a budget, uh this week? Okay,
- 17:51Speaker 1: So what if it's not working? What if your relationship
- 17:54Speaker 1: is just not working, then you ain't got getting nobody
- 17:57Speaker 1: in that? No, no, no, that that's a good ass
- 18:01Speaker 1: time to get out for you. By what's the best
- 18:04Speaker 1: way though, to break up with someone when it's not working.
- 18:08Speaker 1: My favorite thing before social media was just drive off.
- 18:13Speaker 1: I can't just do that. Yeah, I'm talking about man
- 18:16Speaker 1: to never return. I mean, look, it wasn't no sale phones,
- 18:20Speaker 1: it wasn't no phone cameras, was no email was no texting.
- 18:24Speaker 1: I just quit going over there. Yeah, yeah, we threw
- 18:28Speaker 1: and when you see me, well, when that's gonna because
- 18:32Speaker 1: I'm gonna make sure you know what I'm saying. I'm
- 18:35Speaker 1: not going to spend tonightclub no more because I know
- 18:38Speaker 1: that's where you like to go. So when you're gonna
- 18:41Speaker 1: see me, yeah, being coward about it? No, that wasn't
- 18:47Speaker 1: being a coward that you asked me the best way.
- 18:49Speaker 1: That ain't being a coward. You know you should deal
- 18:52Speaker 1: with it and just say we no, no, no, no
- 18:54Speaker 1: no no. See, most women that I was dealing within
- 18:57Speaker 1: the past could not handle that. So why when I
- 19:00Speaker 1: put that on their plate? What do you mean couldn't handle? No?
- 19:03Speaker 1: You gonna you want to see because women won't it closure.
- 19:07Speaker 1: I ain't handle closure for them. It's just over now,
- 19:10Speaker 1: ain't where we're talking about? That was over. I was
- 19:14Speaker 1: through with it. That The fact that you want to
- 19:16Speaker 1: continue has nothing to do with me. That close my
- 19:20Speaker 1: card though, So that's the best way in your mind
- 19:25Speaker 1: back then. Nowadays you can't do that because they're post
- 19:28Speaker 1: on your ass. Oh yeah, all down to people on
- 19:32Speaker 1: your job be reading about you. Come next question? All right,
- 19:39Speaker 1: you know Valentine's Days tomorrow. You know they need the
- 19:41Speaker 1: soundtrack for tomorrow. Just give me three songs that you
- 19:44Speaker 1: should play all night to set the move. You are
- 19:50Speaker 1: my starship. Come take me up to nine number two.
- 19:56Speaker 1: That's a good yeah me, I won't to field the fire, okay,
- 20:10Speaker 1: the music of protection Peopa first, come on, all right,
- 20:16Speaker 1: Weve well, the segment is all right, Steve your chest
- 20:29Speaker 1: for and just sing us out. Coming up next, the
- 20:33Speaker 1: nephew would run that brank back right after this. D
- 20:39Speaker 1: You're listening to Steve Morning Show coming up at the
- 20:43Speaker 1: top of the hour. Guys, it's Steve Harvey still from
- 20:51Speaker 1: It's Valentine's Day playlist. Junior asked him, what would it
- 20:55Speaker 1: be the soundtrack coming up at the top of the hour.
- 21:00Speaker 1: We have some entertainment news for you right now, nephew
- 21:03Speaker 1: in the building with run that prank back. What do
- 21:05Speaker 1: you have for us? Number twos need Valentine's number twos

- 23:13Speaker 1: on for a second? Yeah? Yeah, Oh my okay, I'll
- 23:15Speaker 1: be right back. Oh my god, I'll be right back. Okay. Uh,

- 27:26Speaker 1: right somebody you up? You know what's gonna be a woman?
- 27:37Speaker 1: You gotta let me know what is the baddest and
- 27:39Speaker 1: I mean the baddest radio show in the land, The
- 27:43Speaker 1: Steves Harvey Morty Show. And it's crazy that you tom
- 27:48Speaker 1: Me and there you happy upset you Umber two coming
- 27:59Speaker 1: up at the top of the hour. We'll have some
- 28:01Speaker 1: entertainment and national news coming up right after this. You're
- 28:06Speaker 1: listening to Harvey Morning Show. Well, Kobe Bryant and his
- 28:12Speaker 1: thirteen year old daughter Gianna have been laid to rest
- 28:15Speaker 1: in a private funeral. Kobe's widow, Vanessa, helped pick the
- 28:19Speaker 1: date for his upcoming public memorial. That's two twenty four,
- 28:23Speaker 1: which is a nod to Kobe and Gianna's jersey numbers.
- 28:26Speaker 1: On two twenty four, fans will have an opportunity to
- 28:29Speaker 1: pay their respects at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.
- 28:32Speaker 1: Vanessa posted on Instagram that she is struggling to come
- 28:35Speaker 1: to terms with this immense loss. She wrote, my brain
- 28:39Speaker 1: refuses to accept that both Kobe and Gigi are gone.
- 28:43Speaker 1: I can't process both at the same time. Vanessa went
- 28:47Speaker 1: on to say, then I realize that I need to
- 28:50Speaker 1: be here for my three daughters. I'm praying for all
- 28:53Speaker 1: of the victims of this horrible, horrible tragedy. Wow. Yeah, yeah,
- 29:00Speaker 1: that's really really this woman that's going through and her family,
- 29:07Speaker 1: it's unthinkable. But for anybody that's going through grief on
- 29:14Speaker 1: any level, it's grief. Man. There is nothing nothing I've
- 29:22Speaker 1: experienced in my life that compares to grief. Nothing the
- 29:26Speaker 1: loss of a loved one, somebody you really care about,
- 29:30Speaker 1: the fact that you got to wrap your mind around
- 29:32Speaker 1: the fact that you're not gonna ever see them again. Hey, man,
- 29:35Speaker 1: let me tell you something that that thing right there,
- 29:40Speaker 1: it's I've seen it take some incredibly strong people and
- 29:46Speaker 1: just break them. Yes me, yes, yes me. I mean
- 29:53Speaker 1: I really pride myself on being a really strong person.
- 29:56Speaker 1: Not in terms of not crying. That's not a symbol
- 30:00Speaker 1: of strength, but what to do in tough moments. I'm
- 30:07Speaker 1: very I've been very blessed at God has given me
- 30:10Speaker 1: and a mischein to handle hardship. But grief though, Oh boy,
- 30:16Speaker 1: And tell you something, I don't care who you are.
- 30:22Speaker 1: I don't I don't care how bad you thank you are. Yeah, bro,
- 30:27Speaker 1: let me tell you something. If it happened to somebody
- 30:31Speaker 1: that really means something to you. You have a problem. Yeah,
- 30:38Speaker 1: you don't break. You've got a real problem. Yeah. Yeah.
- 30:43Speaker 1: A friend of mine recently his his wife's mother passed
- 30:49Speaker 1: and it was sudden. And man, let me tell you, man,
- 30:52Speaker 1: this dude probably called me and text me probably for
- 30:57Speaker 1: four weeks straight, every other day. Steve Man can you
- 31:01Speaker 1: say something? I don't know what to say it. Man,
- 31:05Speaker 1: I still got my mom. He said, I know you
- 31:07Speaker 1: lost you as I know, man, you be on radio.
- 31:09Speaker 1: Help here is this something you can say? So I
- 31:12Speaker 1: started thank God for this. I started sending his wife
- 31:17Speaker 1: some scriptures, and I just was happening to be reading
- 31:22Speaker 1: one morning. All one morning, I was reading a devotional
- 31:27Speaker 1: passage from my daily devotional called Jesus Calling. And what happened.
- 31:33Speaker 1: It happened to be talking about grief and how your
- 31:36Speaker 1: loved ones might want for you to go on. And
- 31:39Speaker 1: I just sent it to him. A couple of days later,
- 31:43Speaker 1: he said, man, that help. You got anything else? And
- 31:46Speaker 1: so I called bishop friend of mine, said hey, man,
- 31:51Speaker 1: what's some great scriptures when you dealing with grief? And
- 31:54Speaker 1: he gave me to them and I sent him because
- 31:57Speaker 1: I didn't know. I just didn't know, man. And the
- 32:00Speaker 1: lady now is doing like absolutely fine, and she sends
- 32:03Speaker 1: me scriptures. Now, boy, that thing called grief. Yeah yeah,
- 32:09Speaker 1: all right, Steve, We're going to switch gears and go
- 32:12Speaker 1: to today. Everybody on this show know what I'm talking about.
- 32:16Speaker 1: Come today, ladies and gentlemen. Miss Anne Trip, thank you
- 32:20Speaker 1: very much and glude morning, everybody. This is entered with
- 32:23Speaker 1: the news on Capitol Hill. Today, the Senators to vote
- 32:25Speaker 1: on a measure that would limit President Trump's war powers.
- 32:29Speaker 1: The bill would force Trump to get congressional approval before
- 32:32Speaker 1: ordering any further military action against Iran. For instance, Trump
- 32:35Speaker 1: says that the bill would senday quote very bad signal
- 32:38Speaker 1: and allow Iran to act with impunity unquote. Senate Democrats
- 32:43Speaker 1: introduced the bill last month after the President order the
- 32:45Speaker 1: air strike that killed Iran's top military general. Several Republican
- 32:49Speaker 1: senators are expected to join the Democrats on this one,
- 32:52Speaker 1: believe it or not, but not enough to override what
- 32:54Speaker 1: will probably be a presidential veto. You need a little
- 32:57Speaker 1: bit more just to override that looks like us to Erney.
- 33:00Speaker 1: General William Barr is going to finally appear before the
- 33:03Speaker 1: House Judiciary Committee on March thirty first, and his appearance
- 33:06Speaker 1: will end like a year long standoff that began after
- 33:09Speaker 1: the House panel first demanded his testimony after a special prosecutor,
- 33:13Speaker 1: Robert Mueller released his Russian election meddling report, and Bar
- 33:18Speaker 1: issued a four paid summary that basically said it completely
- 33:21Speaker 1: cleared the president without giving any details. Well, Democrats are
- 33:25Speaker 1: now demanding answers about Bar's apparent intervention to reduce the
- 33:28Speaker 1: sentence suggested for one of the President's close friends, Roger Stone,
- 33:32Speaker 1: disregarding his own prosecutors. Stone was convicted of witness tampering
- 33:36Speaker 1: and threats and other crimes, and the President tweeted about
- 33:39Speaker 1: how he was upset about the recommended sentence of seven
- 33:42Speaker 1: to nine years. However, Trump insists he didn't try to
- 33:45Speaker 1: personally get the AG to reduce stone sentence. No, I
- 33:48Speaker 1: didn't speak to the JUTS. I'd be able to do
- 33:49Speaker 1: it if I wanted. I have the absolute right to
- 33:51Speaker 1: do it. I stay out of things to a degree
- 33:54Speaker 1: that people wouldn't believe what I didn't speak to him.
- 33:56Speaker 1: I thought the recommendation was ridiculous. I thought the whole
- 34:00Speaker 1: prosecution was ridiculous, and I thought it was an insult
- 34:03Speaker 1: to our country. I think it's a disgrace. No, I
- 34:06Speaker 1: have not been involved with it at all. Well, all
- 34:09Speaker 1: four Justice Department prosecutors in the case seem not to
- 34:12Speaker 1: be convinced with that. They abruptly quit the case. And
- 34:15Speaker 1: one of those four prosecutors actually left the Justice Department entirely.
- 34:18Speaker 1: He just quit forget about it. The former Ambassador to Ukraine,
- 34:22Speaker 1: Marie Ivanovitch's going to be received in a warp from
- 34:25Speaker 1: Georgetown University honoring her service to international diplomacy. Ivanovitch, you
- 34:30Speaker 1: may remember, is testified during the impeachment trial. She's to
- 34:34Speaker 1: be given the twenty twenty Trainer Award from the university's
- 34:37Speaker 1: Institute for the Study of Diplomacy, and that's an honor
- 34:40Speaker 1: previously presented to former Secretary of State Madeline albrighton United Nations,
- 34:45Speaker 1: former Secretary General Kofi Ann among many. Ivanovitch may abruptly
- 34:49Speaker 1: recall from Ukraine in May of twenty seventeen after Ruley
- 34:52Speaker 1: Giuliani and some friends tried to undermine her, saying that
- 34:55Speaker 1: she was she was trying to destroy the trump At Ministry,
- 34:57Speaker 1: which she was alive. Dancer and actor Paul Kelly has died. Unfortunately,
- 35:01Speaker 1: she did tons of movies Sweet Charity. She played Oprah
- 35:04Speaker 1: Winfrey Lonett McKee's girlfriend on Oprah Winfrey's Women of Brewster.
- 35:07Speaker 1: Pullis now back to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. You're
- 35:10Speaker 1: listening show Well, the NFL reinstated Miles Garrett on Wednesday
- 35:17Speaker 1: Today's Chapter Yes, Steve Today after the Cleveland brown Star
- 35:25Speaker 1: defensive end met with NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell. Miles Garrett
- 35:30Speaker 1: was suspended, we all know, indefinitely after ripping the helmet
- 35:34Speaker 1: off Mason Rudolph and hitting the Pittsburgh Steeler quarterback in
- 35:38Speaker 1: the head. The Browns general manager said, we welcome Miles
- 35:42Speaker 1: back to our organization with open arms, and we know
- 35:45Speaker 1: he is eager to put the pass behind him and
- 35:47Speaker 1: to continue to grow as a leader. Yeah. And would
- 35:51Speaker 1: you say I said, well, he didn't hit him in here?
- 35:53Speaker 1: He did, Sween, No, no, no, no, he clipped him
- 35:56Speaker 1: to him. Yeah, but let me let me guess who
- 35:58Speaker 1: the first game a something the bottle that hudd that
- 36:01Speaker 1: guy did say something Pittsburgh. Oh, he said something to him.
- 36:05Speaker 1: You don't get hit in the head with a hilt,
- 36:07Speaker 1: thank you. But our friend Stephen A. Smith argued that
- 36:13Speaker 1: Miles Garrett should have been suspended for at least the
- 36:16Speaker 1: twenty twenty regular season opener. Got nobody give a damn
- 36:19Speaker 1: what's stephen A. Smith? But even they need to get
- 36:23Speaker 1: it off Cleveland may matter. Give a damn bout Stephen A.
- 36:25Speaker 1: Stephen said, you commentator, you hate the damn commissioner trying
- 36:30Speaker 1: to keep Cleveland. Cleland told you Cleveland down. Step you
- 36:36Speaker 1: keep on man, keep on dead in your forehead parting
- 36:43Speaker 1: some happy hyeah. Hell yeall get some good music Cleveland.
- 36:48Speaker 1: He take it. Hey, man, he almost got hit in
- 36:51Speaker 1: the head down all both man. He should have got suspending.
- 36:56Speaker 1: Steven ask you all that well, Stephen, would you know
- 37:00Speaker 1: he would send a message to the other players if
- 37:03Speaker 1: he got Hey, we got the message. We don't need
- 37:08Speaker 1: all that message and your sports commentation. You ain't the
- 37:11Speaker 1: judge round. Man. I'm tell you something. Hey, let me
- 37:17Speaker 1: tell you something, Steven, Stephen, let me explain something to you.
- 37:21Speaker 1: I don't know how you be talking about the Dallas Cowboys.
- 37:24Speaker 1: Now we ain't Dallas fans. No, no, no, you bring
- 37:29Speaker 1: your ass up to Cleveland talking to Cleveland different. You
- 37:32Speaker 1: don't have to do something. You're not putting a cowboy
- 37:34Speaker 1: hat on. Smokus singer out of timeout the cowboy. You
- 37:38Speaker 1: bring your ass up clean with that, partner. Now, I
- 37:40Speaker 1: got some boys that to keep you straight up there.
- 37:42Speaker 1: But that's what you're gonna need, partner. No, No, you
- 37:47Speaker 1: don't get in need to miss a game or twenty twenty.
- 37:52Speaker 1: Watch yourself careful once again. The first take match your take.
- 37:57Speaker 1: I'm telling him that's born. Well oh man, So you
- 38:07Speaker 1: think the Cleveland Browns have a chance now with him back? No? No,
- 38:11Speaker 1: next year shot all right? Coming up at thirty four
- 38:22Speaker 1: minutes after the hour, Snoop Dogg talked to his mom
- 38:25Speaker 1: and he has apologized to Gail King and says he overreacted.
- 38:28Speaker 1: We'll talk about it right after this. Come in here
- 38:31Speaker 1: and said, Nai, let me talk to you, Snoopy. You're
- 38:34Speaker 1: listening to show, all right. So Snoop apologized yesterday for
- 38:39Speaker 1: the previous statements he made about Gail King after she
- 38:42Speaker 1: mentioned the subject of Kobe and his rape allegations. That
- 38:47Speaker 1: was during her interview with Lisa Leslie. Uh. Snoop said
- 38:50Speaker 1: he talked to his mom, take a listen to this,
- 38:53Speaker 1: don't make no way because that's so. With that being said, Gail,
- 39:00Speaker 1: I probably throw you down by coming at you in
- 39:02Speaker 1: the divinatory matter based off the promotion and being angry
- 39:06Speaker 1: A questions asked, overreacted. Should have handled it way different
- 39:10Speaker 1: than that. I was raised way better there, so I
- 39:14Speaker 1: would like to apologize probably or the language that I
- 39:18Speaker 1: used and calling you audio name and just being disrespectful
- 39:21Speaker 1: I didn't mean for it to be like that. I
- 39:23Speaker 1: was just expressing myself or a friend. I wasn't here
- 39:26Speaker 1: to defend them. So a lot of people look up
- 39:29Speaker 1: to then. They love me and they appreciate me. So
- 39:31Speaker 1: I want to let them know that anytime you mess up,
- 39:34Speaker 1: it's okay to fix it. It's okay the man. I've
- 39:36Speaker 1: to say that you walk, I apologize. Hopefully we can
- 39:39Speaker 1: sit down and talk t have a good death. I
- 39:45Speaker 1: repect that many Atop Snoop was raised different man and
- 39:53Speaker 1: his mama, Snoop Mama, grandmama say something to him. Oh
- 39:57Speaker 1: they got this undivided tension into that you won't which
- 40:02Speaker 1: is a good thing because it it was. It was,
- 40:04Speaker 1: it was a little, it was it was way strong
- 40:08Speaker 1: the way he could. And you know, like I said
- 40:10Speaker 1: to my closing remarks, that take we got to be
- 40:13Speaker 1: careful not to not to tear one another down. And then,
- 40:17Speaker 1: like Snoop said, two wrongs don't make a right. Yeah,
- 40:21Speaker 1: you know, I'm definitely wasn't defending what Gail King said,
- 40:25Speaker 1: but I can't defend the way he what he said
- 40:29Speaker 1: about her. He could, he had every right to be angry.
- 40:33Speaker 1: He just should have found a cooler way to say it,
- 40:36Speaker 1: because it then started something with some people that that
- 40:40Speaker 1: ain't rapped right. Yeah, Yeah, we're gonna get her because
- 40:47Speaker 1: the right but were But we really don't need to
- 40:51Speaker 1: get her for that though. You know what I'm saying,
- 40:53Speaker 1: that's what you got to be. But I think that's
- 40:56Speaker 1: what Snoop realized. And know, well, I hope she accepts
- 40:59Speaker 1: his apology and you know, we can all move past this.
- 41:02Speaker 1: I hope. So. Yeah, And where it's Calvin at if
- 41:06Speaker 1: y'all seen Calvin, Calvin go down there in the studio,
- 41:10Speaker 1: tap Calvin, I said, come up there right now? What's
- 41:13Speaker 1: this something here? And you on the internet customing can on? Calvin,
- 41:17Speaker 1: look at me what I'm talking to you? Huh saying
- 41:22Speaker 1: somebody Gil or something like that. Look at me what
- 41:24Speaker 1: I'm talking to you, Calvin? What is this something here?
- 41:27Speaker 1: You're gonna you're gonna call this mommy and you're gonna pologize.
- 41:29Speaker 1: You don't do that. You raised better than that. Look
- 41:32Speaker 1: at me when I'm talking to you, Calvin. Thank you, Like,
- 41:37Speaker 1: get on the phone and you caller and you talk
- 41:40Speaker 1: to her directly and you apologize. Do you hear me?
- 41:44Speaker 1: Come on, don't you make another song? Can you caller?
- 41:47Speaker 1: And I mean that impression. No, I can't. I don't
- 41:53Speaker 1: just it ain't. I ain't gonna be say nothing to
- 41:57Speaker 1: people gonna find that funny. Yes, Mama, No, I'm sensing
- 42:03Speaker 1: sensing myself one. But you know what I thought would
- 42:07Speaker 1: have helped the situation, right, but uh, Snoop apologize. I
- 42:13Speaker 1: think it would have went a long way if Gail
- 42:15Speaker 1: had apologize. It was insensitive with the timing of it
- 42:20Speaker 1: and the phrasing of it, and I think it would
- 42:23Speaker 1: have went a long way if she would have apologize.
- 42:26Speaker 1: It's just my opinion. Well, I hope that the two
- 42:29Speaker 1: of them, like Snoop said, could meet privately and talk
- 42:33Speaker 1: and squash it and move on. And like you said, Steve,
- 42:37Speaker 1: for us to stop tearing each other down. See, you know,
- 42:41Speaker 1: because everybody's gonna make a mistake. We're all here. What
- 42:44Speaker 1: what was interpretated excuse me interpreted as sensi potatoes? Yeah,
- 43:02Speaker 1: and you even have excuse us audience for a moment.
- 43:07Speaker 1: I'm looking at you like that time when when that
- 43:11Speaker 1: boy tabum dump, don't dump, don't dump, don't all lebron
- 43:15Speaker 1: and didn't turn around, got in the faith Lebron say
- 43:17Speaker 1: what right there? I love Coming up next, the nephew
- 43:24Speaker 1: is here with today's spring phone call. That's right after this. Wow, Junior,
- 43:30Speaker 1: you're listening to morning show. Okay, here we go. Everybody.
- 43:34Speaker 1: Everybody cool, Now they're okay. I just want to say
- 43:38Speaker 1: something to Junior. Oh, Joe, you know that text I
- 43:42Speaker 1: sent you early? Yeah, yeah, don't even worry about that.
- 43:46Speaker 1: What oh table, Yeah, don't even worry. Yeah yeah, we're
- 43:52Speaker 1: gonna let it go Tommy in a minute, Tommy, Tommy

- 49:18Speaker 1: Why are you set hering that? What do you mean
- 49:19Speaker 1: you ain't spend no time with it? How you you
- 49:21Speaker 1: seem to know all about her? And you haven't gone
- 49:23Speaker 1: out one time with my wife? No? I never went

- 49:38Speaker 1: I wanted her to have the flowers, but I didn't
- 49:41Speaker 1: want her to but I didn't want her to have
- 49:42Speaker 1: my wife's gift card? Though? What did you think I

- 52:59Speaker 1: gonna read this one right here, right now. Okay, all right,
- 53:03Speaker 1: let's go buggle hold on tight. We got it for you. Here.
- 53:06Speaker 1: It is the Strawberry Letter. Subject I didn't feel respected
- 53:09Speaker 1: or protected that day. Dear Stephen Shirley, I'm a twenty
- 53:14Speaker 1: eight year old women's lightweight mm A fighter and I've
- 53:18Speaker 1: been fighting for the past thirteen years. I've had the
- 53:21Speaker 1: same coach since I started, and he's been a great
- 53:24Speaker 1: role model in my life. His motto is ladies should
- 53:27Speaker 1: be respected and protected at all times. He has a
- 53:31Speaker 1: twenty year old son that works as a trainer for
- 53:35Speaker 1: the female fighters, and he travels with us. Over the holidays,
- 53:39Speaker 1: ME and two other fighters had a match out of town,
- 53:42Speaker 1: and Coach his son went with us. After the fight,
- 53:45Speaker 1: we all went to a bar to celebrate, and Coach
- 53:48Speaker 1: his son and Coach his son came with us. I
- 53:51Speaker 1: bought a few beers for him because Coach was not around.
- 53:55Speaker 1: He got tipsy and started flirting with me. I was
- 53:58Speaker 1: drinking whiskey and feeling real good, so I flirted back.
- 54:03Speaker 1: He went back to my hotel room with me and
- 54:06Speaker 1: we made love. It was the best sex I had
- 54:10Speaker 1: ever had. We're dating now, and I'm tired of hiding
- 54:14Speaker 1: it from Coach. I decided to go see Coach and
- 54:17Speaker 1: tell him that his son and I are dating. It
- 54:21Speaker 1: didn't go well. He was furious and told me to
- 54:25Speaker 1: stay away from his son. So I asked Coach if
- 54:29Speaker 1: I could fight him for his son. I was surprised
- 54:32Speaker 1: that he agreed to fight me, a woman. Well, he
- 54:36Speaker 1: is sixty two years old and he had a stroke
- 54:38Speaker 1: in twenty eighteen, so I did not want to hurt him. Well.
- 54:43Speaker 1: Two seconds into the fight, he slammed me to the
- 54:46Speaker 1: floor so hard that I passed out and urinated on myself.
- 54:54Speaker 1: When I came to He called me a fool and
- 54:57Speaker 1: told me to get out. I guess Coach no longer
- 55:00Speaker 1: thinks women should be respected and protected. I am thinking
- 55:03Speaker 1: about pressing charges because he could have really hurt me.
- 55:07Speaker 1: I know the rules of the game. I lost the fight,
- 55:09Speaker 1: so I have to leave his son alone. But I
- 55:12Speaker 1: can't I really like him. Should I go back in
- 55:16Speaker 1: and try to reason with coach or just forget about
- 55:19Speaker 1: his son? I can't? Crazy, Yeah, I can't believe. First
- 55:40Speaker 1: of all, that you would fight a man over a man.
- 55:44Speaker 1: I can't believe that. I can't. I can't believe that. Uh.
- 55:48Speaker 1: And while I'm not surprised that this man won, he
- 55:51Speaker 1: is your coach, after all. I'm not surprised he won.
- 55:53Speaker 1: I am surprised that he didn't respect or protect you,
- 55:57Speaker 1: like his motto says that day. I just this, this
- 56:00Speaker 1: whole thing is crazy. Uh. The fact that he agreed
- 56:04Speaker 1: to fight you because just because you're dating his son.
- 56:11Speaker 1: I mean, is there a rule that you can't date
- 56:13Speaker 1: his son? Is that stated in the by laws or something?
- 56:17Speaker 1: You know, you thought you would hurt him because he
- 56:19Speaker 1: had a stroke a couple of years ago, but he
- 56:22Speaker 1: slammed you to the ground two seconds into the fight
- 56:26Speaker 1: with no remorse anything, and then he called you a
- 56:29Speaker 1: fool and told you to get out. What kind of
- 56:33Speaker 1: man does this to a woman, takes a fight with
- 56:37Speaker 1: a woman. I mean, you're grown, his son has grown. You.
- 56:39Speaker 1: Guys should be able to to date whoever you want
- 56:43Speaker 1: to date. I mean, how is this hurting anything? But yeah,
- 56:48Speaker 1: this is crazy. You lost the fight, so you think
- 56:50Speaker 1: you have to leave a son alone, but you can't
- 56:53Speaker 1: because you really like him. So it sounds like either
- 56:56Speaker 1: you leave a son alone and you continue to fight
- 57:00Speaker 1: and be coached by this same coach who slammed you
- 57:03Speaker 1: to the ground, or you let this young man go and,
- 57:07Speaker 1: you know, sign up with another organization where you can fight.
- 57:11Speaker 1: I don't know, I don't know, but I mean, I
- 57:16Speaker 1: just think the coach was just wrong on so many
- 57:18Speaker 1: levels to do that to you, and you should have
- 57:21Speaker 1: never agreed to it. You just should have never agreed
- 57:23Speaker 1: to it. Okay, Steve Shirley, I agree with Shirley's answer.
- 57:28Speaker 1: I would like to submit Shirley's answer as the official
- 57:32Speaker 1: answer for the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Thank Lord, not mine.
- 57:37Speaker 1: I would like to submit Shirley's direct response was so
- 57:41Speaker 1: spot on. It says a lot of things that I
- 57:44Speaker 1: feel and have had a lot of my values in it.
- 57:48Speaker 1: Make Shirley's response our response to this strawberry letter. I said,
- 57:56Speaker 1: if I wasn't on this show and I did not
- 58:01Speaker 1: have the values that I have and was not raised
- 58:04Speaker 1: in a Christian family household, here's high answer this letter.
- 58:09Speaker 1: First of all, you're twenty eight and you are lightweight
- 58:14Speaker 1: MMA fighter. When women are lightweight, dass really is lightweight.
- 58:20Speaker 1: You've been fighting for thirteen years. You had the same coach,
- 58:24Speaker 1: his mottolas, ladies should be respected and protected. It all time.
- 58:28Speaker 1: Now he got this twenty year old boar and worked
- 58:30Speaker 1: as a training y'all got the traveling. One night, y'all
- 58:33Speaker 1: went out and you got some drinks. You bought a
- 58:35Speaker 1: son some beer money, but you had whiskey right here.
- 58:40Speaker 1: This square's all turning. The boy had bill, your little
- 58:45Speaker 1: last lightweight, had whiskey. Whiskey running off through you. He
- 58:51Speaker 1: got tipsy, started flirting with me. You was drinking whiskey,
- 58:55Speaker 1: felt real good, flirted back, went back to the hotel room.
- 59:00Speaker 1: Me and him made love. It was the best sex
- 59:03Speaker 1: I've ever had. Well, let's cause you a damn fighter.
- 59:06Speaker 1: What does that mean? Che been whipping folk ass? You know,
- 59:13Speaker 1: people don't really make good lovers. I'm just gonna explain
- 59:16Speaker 1: that damn rough. Yeah. I'll be back to Spain all too. Yeah,
- 59:22Speaker 1: all right, we'll have part two of Steve's response coming
- 59:25Speaker 1: up at twenty three minutes after two hours, subject, I
- 59:29Speaker 1: didn't feel respected or protected that day. We'll be back
- 59:32Speaker 1: right after this. You're listening to morning show, all right, Steve,
- 59:37Speaker 1: come on, let's recap the Strawberry letter for today's subject,
- 59:41Speaker 1: I didn't feel respected or protected that day. Well, it's
- 59:45Speaker 1: twenty eight year old woman who's a lightweight MMA fighter.
- 59:48Speaker 1: That means they're kicking all in the head, stomping, you know,
- 59:52Speaker 1: putting knees in your jaw, all in a cage. All
- 59:58Speaker 1: this happened in a cage. She twenty eight. Got a
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: mail trainer, he's sixty two. His model, His ladies should
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: be respected and protected all time. He got twenty year
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: old son that trained the female fighters, and they traveled
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: with him. Then they went on this trip and after
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: the fight, they went out to a bar one night,
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: and the coach's son came with us. So you brought
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: a few bids for him because you know his daddy
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: wasn't there, and you know, just get him a little
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: high in me, and he got tipsy and started flirting
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: with you, Yola, last little lightweight with drinking whiskey feeling good,
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: got to flirting back. Y'all went back to the hotel
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: room and made love. Here was a let us start.
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: It was the best sex I've ever had. And like
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: I said earlier, it's because you were a fighter. Yes,
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: it's the best sex you ever had. What is that?
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: Because you were sleeping with a trainer, a person who
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: trained fighters. Fighters traditionally are not known as good as
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: love us because they two damn ruw your asses off.
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: That's why you buy yourself now. You've been jumping on
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: me and working the ass for thirteen years. You're too rough?
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: Were making love? What is you choking me? Fuck this?
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: This is supposed to be loved. Get your elbow out
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: of my damn y'all, girl, we feel making love? Nah,
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: I don't want my damn backcrack. We're making love? What
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: did you do? I don't want to be in a
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: fool nelson? Why are you humping me? Letting my neck go?
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: I don't want this, you're too damn Rough. So now
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: they're dating, and she tried to keeping it from the coach.
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: So she tried to decide to go and there see
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: the coaching tell him that her and her son is dating.
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: He didn't go good. Your damn right, it ain't go bed.
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: Why does he dang your crazy ass fault. You're too
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: wild for my son. I want to have grandkids. I
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: want my son to have a national little lady coming
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: to the house. Want nobody in there off crazy? You're
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: a fighter. This one happen. I'm telling you, this is
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: what happened. Coach don't want his son day Nobody Rough
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: like you two damn rough. I told you so. I
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: asked the coach if I could fight him for his son.
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: Who'll say that? Yeah? What woman goes for hand? I
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: tell you what, I kick your ass for your boy.
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: I can't believe that. I ask you, how about Yeah,
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: how about that? I'll fight you for your son? See
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: you right that little girl, see you write you two
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: damn rough. That's why you ain't got aboudy. That's why
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: you ain't gonna keep this boy. You're not gonna be
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: able to keep this boy because you two damn rough.
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: Then I was surprised he agreed to fight me. Now
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: you are a little surprised at that because he's sixty two.
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: That's a year less than me. He had a stroke
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: in two out and eighteen. Obviously he's fully recovered from it.
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: Obviously that stroke ain't take a full set in. See
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: you now what choler ignordans need to learn for you
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: start jumping inviting me into ass whoopers men strip is different.
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: Now there's a lot of women that can whoop a
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: lot of men. But you is a lightweight mm A
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: fighter that's one hundred and twelve. Now, you just set
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: up in there, grab this sixty two, you old man.
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: But but see you're not telling me about to argue
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: in your couse. When you said it didn't dup go good,
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: You left a bunch of stuff out. You called him
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: your old ass. Don't tell me what to do. Who
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: the hell you called new? I called your ass? Oh,
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: your old ass man. I'll fight you for yourself. Well,
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: I'll tell you what. Run your little more ass over here.
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: And that's what you did. And you ran over that.
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: He didn't punch you in nothing, but he slammed two
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: seconds into the fight he slammed me, so he didn't
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: punch you. He just slammed you to the ground. Now
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: your little ass passed out quick running up on these
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: men over there, y'all in the ring fighting for a man,
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: but you ain't a man. Ain't you fight another man?
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: You passed out and NATed on yourself. Now that I
- 1:04:04Speaker 1: can relate to directly, well, I have felt so hard.
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: I peered all myself. I fell down some steps something.
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: When I was about twelve years old. I fell down
- 1:04:15Speaker 1: some steps, and when I got to the bottom of
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: them steps, I started peeing. What yes, yes, so you
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: understand which how she feels. I was sitting on my
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: steps one time. I was sitting on my partner am step.
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: He had this big Labrador retriever and I didn't know
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: the labrador had got out the dough. Next thing I know,
- 1:04:38Speaker 1: I turned around. He licked my ill, but he barked
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: soon as he did at a right there. I pee
- 1:04:48Speaker 1: right there, So I've had some muinating on myself. He
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: called me a fool and told me to get out.
- 1:04:56Speaker 1: I guess coach no longer thinks women should be respected
- 1:04:59Speaker 1: and potation he shouldn't. Did that? Tell y'all ten. He
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: shouldn't have did that. And I'm thinking about press and
- 1:05:03Speaker 1: charge press Chard for what y'all was in the MMA
- 1:05:07Speaker 1: ring And y'all you asked man and you got slammed,
- 1:05:11Speaker 1: you passed out. You can't press charges for that, and
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: then expect you can't put this man, daddy in jail
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: and think he gonna steal like you. You're too raw,
- 1:05:24Speaker 1: You're too damn row. All right, daddy, all right. You
- 1:05:29Speaker 1: can post your comments on Today's Strawberry Letter at Steve

- 1:06:35Speaker 1: And then Bill Bellamy's gonna be there. He's hilarious, but
- 1:06:37Speaker 1: he's not as funny as you. And he's not as
- 1:06:39Speaker 1: assome as you, John DC Curt. You know, you were
- 1:06:42Speaker 1: a good hat, you know, but he's not you. You
- 1:06:45Speaker 1: know what I'm saying. You know, Black Ron gonna be
- 1:06:47Speaker 1: it's gonna be a good show, you know, trying to
- 1:06:50Speaker 1: get with junior hair. And it's possible. It is as
- 1:06:53Speaker 1: possible as Bernie said. Well, Bernie Sanders is looking kind
- 1:06:57Speaker 1: of good in the in the primaries. Okay, it is
- 1:07:00Speaker 1: as possible as the Democratic nod for president. Listen, I'm
- 1:07:07Speaker 1: sitting with some friends. I don't think it's gonna happen.
- 1:07:09Speaker 1: I don't think it's gonna happen. I think that I
- 1:07:11Speaker 1: think the Democrats is gonna do something that they really
- 1:07:14Speaker 1: should not do. They're gonna put uh Bernie Sanders up
- 1:07:18Speaker 1: and a lot of us are gonna stay home, and
- 1:07:20Speaker 1: I hate it's gonna be Yeah. Yeah, Bloomberg and Biden
- 1:07:25Speaker 1: together would be pretty good because you got experience and
- 1:07:28Speaker 1: you got right. Yeah. But hey, we see when you
- 1:07:31Speaker 1: get to South Carolina, though, Shirley, when you get to
- 1:07:33Speaker 1: South Carolina said hey, wait, I know I got a
- 1:07:36Speaker 1: little bit time left. Steve Harvey, you stop playing coming
- 1:07:39Speaker 1: on and talk boy. Listen tomorrow. Everybody check out Steve
- 1:07:43Speaker 1: on the Talk. I don't see me as we're talking
- 1:07:45Speaker 1: about Joe's show on Facebook. Watch Steve got to talk show.
- 1:07:49Speaker 1: Listen that boy get jobs. But if you get jobs
- 1:07:52Speaker 1: as fast I'm gonna get Junior, this would be a
- 1:07:54Speaker 1: really great experience. You get get you come get you
- 1:07:59Speaker 1: what what what happened? Wait? Man? Who what you're saying
- 1:08:01Speaker 1: about me and Valencie? What you say? We're gonna do
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: what you say? Good? Everything? Her time is running. Well,
- 1:08:08Speaker 1: I'm promoting Steve Harvey on the show when he come

- 1:08:16Speaker 1: you saying saying? What like what colone do Junior? Livey? Hey,
- 1:08:24Speaker 1: I got all that in for for you. I'm turning
- 1:08:26Speaker 1: on Junior. Yea, what is in the same I get
- 1:08:31Speaker 1: in a suit. Yeah, Julia, I'm committed to this. It's happening.
- 1:08:41Speaker 1: It's happening. Happy Valentine Day, Juniyard. Thank you. Reality update
- 1:08:48Speaker 1: coming up next right after this. You're listening, all right, Tommy,
- 1:08:56Speaker 1: let's go, let's get it. Let's get it. Cheers here
- 1:08:59Speaker 1: call a fair with what reality update? All right? Thank
- 1:09:03Speaker 1: you that you. Let's go Real Housewives of Atlanta, your
- 1:09:08Speaker 1: girl Kenya more it is a trip, yes, Steve, here
- 1:09:12Speaker 1: could go. They all went to lunch, Cynthia, Tanya, and
- 1:09:15Speaker 1: Eva to talk about all the drama, the wig, the
- 1:09:18Speaker 1: Cookie Lady, all of that. Well, Kenya wanted to pay
- 1:09:20Speaker 1: back Tanya for showing the ladies her wig, remember that
- 1:09:24Speaker 1: she left in Toronto Shirley, So Kenya to throw shade
- 1:09:28Speaker 1: at Tanya invited the Cookie Lady to lunch. Now, the
- 1:09:32Speaker 1: Cookie Lady is the woman who told Kenya and Cynthia
- 1:09:35Speaker 1: that Tanya's man Paul was flirting with her at a restaurant.
- 1:09:41Speaker 1: So now the Cookie Lady. She was very messy and
- 1:09:44Speaker 1: her tone was not the Cookie Lady. No, no, no,
- 1:09:50Speaker 1: she's a very young she's a beautiful woman, but I
- 1:09:54Speaker 1: just didn't like her approach and how she talked to Tanya.
- 1:09:57Speaker 1: She wasn't cool at all. I was real messy what
- 1:09:59Speaker 1: she did. And Kenya was wrong for all of that.
- 1:10:02Speaker 1: That whole scenario. So moving on to Cynthia. She went
- 1:10:05Speaker 1: to La to see her fiance, Mike, and he decides
- 1:10:10Speaker 1: to throw a little party, a little get together. What child,
- 1:10:14Speaker 1: let me tell you most of friends, listen, Steve, most
- 1:10:20Speaker 1: of Mike's friends and now you know, you introduced Mike
- 1:10:23Speaker 1: and Cynthia, so you know they're engaged. His friends. Most
- 1:10:26Speaker 1: of them are females. So at the party, yes, beautiful women.
- 1:10:36Speaker 1: So at the party. While at the party, Mike was
- 1:10:40Speaker 1: talking about his new book and they were just talking
- 1:10:43Speaker 1: and talking, and he admitted that he had a problem
- 1:10:48Speaker 1: being faithful. Now, all of this discussion was happening in
- 1:10:52Speaker 1: front of his sixteen year old daughter. She was there
- 1:10:56Speaker 1: at the party, who didn't want to hear that conversation,
- 1:11:00Speaker 1: and she was very hurt. She left the party area,
- 1:11:02Speaker 1: she went upstairs to room. She was upset and crying
- 1:11:05Speaker 1: because I'm just going to assume that Mike was unfaithful
- 1:11:09Speaker 1: probably unfaithful to her mom. She was very upset. Mike
- 1:11:13Speaker 1: went upstairs to check on his daughter. Cynthia went with him.
- 1:11:15Speaker 1: He did apologize to her, to his daughter for having
- 1:11:19Speaker 1: an inappropriate I would say, inappropriate grown folks conversation in
- 1:11:25Speaker 1: front of her. That was wrong. He was totally out
- 1:11:28Speaker 1: of order for talking like that in front of her.
- 1:11:31Speaker 1: She was heard, and you know, they moved on from that.
- 1:11:34Speaker 1: But here's the other issue that I'm having that I
- 1:11:36Speaker 1: want to bring up. My fiance cannot have a whole
- 1:11:41Speaker 1: lot of women friends like that. He had two men
- 1:11:44Speaker 1: at this party and the rest were like, they were
- 1:11:48Speaker 1: all single women. Beautiful, they were all single women. That's right. Nah, nah,
- 1:11:58Speaker 1: nah nah, you can't be reality show set up, you
- 1:12:03Speaker 1: think sell Steve oh Man, I know the dude, okay,
- 1:12:07Speaker 1: because one of the girls didn't even have a brown
- 1:12:09Speaker 1: Did you see her, Shirley, I say, what's happen? What's happening? Yeah?
- 1:12:16Speaker 1: It did. Look it looked crazy. I mean, it's just
- 1:12:21Speaker 1: it's just not realistic for your man to have more
- 1:12:25Speaker 1: women friends than men friends. That's just not realistic that
- 1:12:29Speaker 1: that's going to work out. That was just too much.
- 1:12:32Speaker 1: That was just too many women. These women are your homies.
- 1:12:34Speaker 1: Come on now, Uh, she's going to be uncomfortable all
- 1:12:39Speaker 1: the time. She can act like it doesn't bother her,
- 1:12:41Speaker 1: but it's bothering her. And if all her friends were male,
- 1:12:44Speaker 1: you wouldn't like it. So that's not cool. That's not cool. Yeah,
- 1:12:48Speaker 1: get out of here with that. So hit me up
- 1:12:50Speaker 1: that lips of my Carla. Tell me you know, this
- 1:12:52Speaker 1: is an old age question. We always talk about this, Steve.
- 1:12:55Speaker 1: Can men and women be friends and be friends like that?
- 1:12:59Speaker 1: What I saw? Six seven women? You're talking about these
- 1:13:02Speaker 1: your friends introducing them to your woman? They were beautiful, Tommy,
- 1:13:07Speaker 1: they were going just who don't want to be friends women?
- 1:13:11Speaker 1: See the problem? That's that's it's a serious problem though,
- 1:13:17Speaker 1: hanging a woman? What I don't want to hang out
- 1:13:21Speaker 1: with no ugly woman. You should be hanging out with
- 1:13:24Speaker 1: any women. But your fi could be up at lips Carlo,
- 1:13:28Speaker 1: don't get check, Junior, perfectly fine to hang out with um.
- 1:13:36Speaker 1: We'll be back at twenty after you're listening to show.
- 1:13:42Speaker 1: All right, So what is going on with some of
- 1:13:44Speaker 1: our HBCUs. Have you guys heard about this? For instance,
- 1:13:47Speaker 1: in Houston, the president of Texas Southern University Tommy, doctor
- 1:13:52Speaker 1: Austin Lane has been Yeah, he's been fired. And some
- 1:13:58Speaker 1: believe various members of the award have a personal vendetta
- 1:14:02Speaker 1: again do yeah saying it. They do. That's why you
- 1:14:07Speaker 1: go to preview. But what what do you get? So
- 1:14:13Speaker 1: he ain't putting no money in his pocket? Let me
- 1:14:15Speaker 1: say that that's that hasn't happened. It's it's a long story.
- 1:14:18Speaker 1: It's just a lot of traumas. It's really sad to
- 1:14:21Speaker 1: see that though. Yeah, and then' that's so much good
- 1:14:24Speaker 1: for that school. That's the bad point. Yeah. Yeah, but
- 1:14:28Speaker 1: they're they're coming for him. They are also in Jackson, Mississippi.
- 1:14:33Speaker 1: The president there, president of Jackson State University, doctor William
- 1:14:36Speaker 1: Binham Junior, has resigned after weekend the rest of him
- 1:14:41Speaker 1: being involved in a prostitution ring along with Jackson. Now, yeah,
- 1:14:47Speaker 1: I don't care. I don't know what he didn't done
- 1:14:49Speaker 1: for that school. I ain't got nothing to do with
- 1:14:51Speaker 1: that one. Yeah. Now. In Virginia, Hampton University's Doctor of
- 1:14:54Speaker 1: Pharmacy program has lost its accreditation in regards to standards
- 1:14:59Speaker 1: related to progression and educational outcomes. The decision is appealable
- 1:15:05Speaker 1: to which university spokesman said in an emailed statement that
- 1:15:09Speaker 1: the den of Hampton, the Dean of Hampton School of Pharmacy,
- 1:15:13Speaker 1: has indicated he will pursue. So it's just a lot
- 1:15:16Speaker 1: of drama going on with these colleges. And we'll be
- 1:15:19Speaker 1: back with more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show and
- 1:15:21Speaker 1: some trending mate at thirty three minutes after the hour. Wow,
- 1:15:25Speaker 1: you're listening to morning show. Well. Kobe Bryant and his
- 1:15:30Speaker 1: thirteen year old daughter Gianna have been laid to rest
- 1:15:33Speaker 1: in a private funeral. Kobe's widow, Vanessa, helped pick the
- 1:15:37Speaker 1: date for his upcoming public memorial that's two twenty four,
- 1:15:41Speaker 1: which is a nod to Kobe and Gianna's jersey numbers.
- 1:15:44Speaker 1: On two twenty four, fans will have an opportunity to
- 1:15:47Speaker 1: pay their respects at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.
- 1:15:50Speaker 1: Vanessa posted on Instagram that she is struggling to come
- 1:15:53Speaker 1: to terms with this immense loss. She wrote, my brain
- 1:15:57Speaker 1: refuses to accept that Kobe and GG are gone. I
- 1:16:02Speaker 1: can't process both at the same time. Vanessa went on
- 1:16:05Speaker 1: to say, then I realized that I need to be
- 1:16:08Speaker 1: here for my three daughters. I'm praying for all of
- 1:16:11Speaker 1: the victims of this horrible, horrible tragedy. Wow. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:16:18Speaker 1: that's really really yeah the great this woman that's going
- 1:16:23Speaker 1: through and her family, it's unthinkable. But for anybody that's
- 1:16:29Speaker 1: going through grief, Yeah, on any level, it's grief. Man.
- 1:16:36Speaker 1: There is nothing I've experienced in my life that compares
- 1:16:40Speaker 1: to grief. Nothing the loss of a loved one, somebody
- 1:16:44Speaker 1: you really care about, the fact that you got to
- 1:16:47Speaker 1: wrap your mind around the fact that you're not going
- 1:16:49Speaker 1: to ever see them again. That thing right there. I've
- 1:16:54Speaker 1: seen it take some incredibly strong people and just break them.
- 1:17:00Speaker 1: Yes me, yes, yes me. I mean I really pride
- 1:17:07Speaker 1: myself on being a really strong person, not in terms
- 1:17:10Speaker 1: of not crying. That's not a symbol of strength, but
- 1:17:15Speaker 1: what to do in tough moments. I'm very I've been
- 1:17:20Speaker 1: very blessed at God has given me and a mischien
- 1:17:24Speaker 1: to handle hardship. But grief, though, Oh boy, I'm gonna
- 1:17:29Speaker 1: tell you something. I don't care who you are. I
- 1:17:33Speaker 1: don't I don't care how bad you thank you are.
- 1:17:37Speaker 1: Yea bro, let me tell you something. If it happened
- 1:17:40Speaker 1: to somebody that really means something to you, You have
- 1:17:45Speaker 1: a problem. Yeah, you break, You've got a real problem.
- 1:17:50Speaker 1: A friend of mine recently his wife's mother pass and
- 1:17:54Speaker 1: it was sudden. And man, let me tell you, man,
- 1:17:57Speaker 1: this dude probably called me and text me probably for
- 1:18:01Speaker 1: four weeks straight every other day, Steve, Man, can you
- 1:18:05Speaker 1: say something? I don't know what to say. Man, I
- 1:18:09Speaker 1: still got my mom, he said, I know you lost
- 1:18:12Speaker 1: you as I know. Man, you be on radio helping people.
- 1:18:14Speaker 1: Thank God for this. I started sending his wife some scriptures.
- 1:18:18Speaker 1: A couple of days later. He said, Man, that help.
- 1:18:20Speaker 1: And the lady now is doing like absolutely fine, and
- 1:18:24Speaker 1: now she sends me scriptures. Now. All right, coming up,
- 1:18:28Speaker 1: our last break of the day and some closing remarks
- 1:18:31Speaker 1: from the one and only Steve Harvey at forty nine
- 1:18:34Speaker 1: minutes after the hour, right after this you're listening show.
- 1:18:40Speaker 1: All right, here we are here, guys, our last break
- 1:18:43Speaker 1: of the day of the morning. It's been a good day,
- 1:18:46Speaker 1: good Thursday for most of us. What's wrong, Junior? I
- 1:18:49Speaker 1: got lots of job today in the morning and it
- 1:18:51Speaker 1: ain't even ten o'clock. What happened? I said, Tatus, it's
- 1:18:56Speaker 1: the last break of the day. It was late, but
- 1:19:02Speaker 1: it got in there though, Steve, Yeah, I just did
- 1:19:05Speaker 1: it on top of him. Don'tbody would hear what you're
- 1:19:07Speaker 1: talking about? Right now? Yeah, I'd probably let you back in,
- 1:19:10Speaker 1: but not to day though. Yeah, friends tomorrow worry about
- 1:19:17Speaker 1: its friends now. But you know, you know, once you
- 1:19:20Speaker 1: start slapping, you gotta be careful when you slapped the
- 1:19:23Speaker 1: dog behind the fence because the damn gate might be open.
- 1:19:31Speaker 1: We've all done that. Is that gate open? God? Hey, y'all,
- 1:19:37Speaker 1: let me say this in my closing right now, Okay,
- 1:19:41Speaker 1: I never went to an HBCU. I went to Kent
- 1:19:45Speaker 1: State universityhood nineteen thousand students, nine hundred blacks, and we
- 1:19:53Speaker 1: were extremely close knit group of people. Now, not nine
- 1:19:58Speaker 1: hundred blacks lived on campus. Nine hundred attended the whole university,
- 1:20:03Speaker 1: and but we were a close knit group back then.
- 1:20:07Speaker 1: Kent State was not at HBCU, but a lot of
- 1:20:11Speaker 1: my friends attended historical black colleges and universities. And that's
- 1:20:19Speaker 1: one of my wishes man, that I had done, because
- 1:20:23Speaker 1: I think I missed a great experience. I do appreciate
- 1:20:27Speaker 1: the experience I had because I had to go there
- 1:20:30Speaker 1: to learn the system. Because I went to an all
- 1:20:33Speaker 1: black elementary and all Black Junior High and in all
- 1:20:37Speaker 1: black high school. So when I went to Kent State,
- 1:20:41Speaker 1: I had a roommate. I was in a quad, and
- 1:20:44Speaker 1: I had three white roommates. It didn't last long, but
- 1:20:47Speaker 1: I had three white roommates, and I needed that because
- 1:20:51Speaker 1: I needed to learn the system, how the system really operated,
- 1:20:57Speaker 1: how rich people really function, how the other side lived.
- 1:21:03Speaker 1: So I needed it. But I've met, known and dealt
- 1:21:08Speaker 1: with a lot of African Americans from HBCUs and man
- 1:21:14Speaker 1: on man on man on man, what a valuable, valuable
- 1:21:18Speaker 1: place it is. And all of the news that I'm hearing,
- 1:21:23Speaker 1: the negative reports, it's amazing how they accentuate the negative.
- 1:21:27Speaker 1: They're not talking about the positive, all of the success
- 1:21:30Speaker 1: stories that come out of these great universities. But you
- 1:21:34Speaker 1: let something negative happen, and all of a sudden, it's
- 1:21:37Speaker 1: to highlight story. It's the biggest worst thing that's ever happened.
- 1:21:41Speaker 1: And that's just not true. Overall of the experience of
- 1:21:44Speaker 1: the HBCUs. And I want all of us to pay
- 1:21:47Speaker 1: attention to petitions that's going around to spare people embarrassment
- 1:21:52Speaker 1: or their jobs, because let me explain something to you,
- 1:21:56Speaker 1: HBCUs have helped so many people and giving so many
- 1:22:03Speaker 1: people an opportunity who would not have been afforded an
- 1:22:06Speaker 1: opportunity otherwise. I know deans of these colleges who go
- 1:22:13Speaker 1: out of their way to make sure that borderline guys
- 1:22:19Speaker 1: that don't have the grades to get into big schools
- 1:22:23Speaker 1: can get into some presummer programs and get them ready
- 1:22:27Speaker 1: and put them in special tutoring programs because they know
- 1:22:30Speaker 1: a lot of these kids come from impoverished backgrounds, which
- 1:22:33Speaker 1: come from public school systems that don't have the funding
- 1:22:37Speaker 1: to get them qualified for a college education. But if
- 1:22:41Speaker 1: you could just give them a hand and just give
- 1:22:44Speaker 1: them a foot up, it could change their life immensely.
- 1:22:49Speaker 1: I've seen it work firsthand, over and over and over
- 1:22:53Speaker 1: a give and we got to thank God for HBCUs
- 1:22:57Speaker 1: because they take a special interest in the lives and
- 1:23:02Speaker 1: the welf and these children's futures that regular colleges are
- 1:23:07Speaker 1: not equipped set up, nor do they care about. Once
- 1:23:11Speaker 1: you go to the Ohio State, you fit into the system.
- 1:23:16Speaker 1: Ain't no programs for you. You know, kids, state just
- 1:23:19Speaker 1: started coming up with a program. I went down there
- 1:23:22Speaker 1: last year and these brothers, frat brothers of mine, got
- 1:23:24Speaker 1: these special programs to help minority male students because they
- 1:23:28Speaker 1: know the difficult today face coming into these universities when
- 1:23:32Speaker 1: they come from these all black environments and educational programs.
- 1:23:36Speaker 1: HBCUs are equipped to handle those types of students that
- 1:23:41Speaker 1: give them the extra tension, that give them the extra care,
- 1:23:45Speaker 1: that afford them the special programs that show and teach
- 1:23:50Speaker 1: and help them become successful when other programs don't care
- 1:23:55Speaker 1: that you're successful and have no programs set up for
- 1:23:58Speaker 1: your success. If you want a tutor, you got to
- 1:24:01Speaker 1: buy a tutor. These HBCUs got programs. They're trying to
- 1:24:05Speaker 1: graduate kids, they're trying to turn out intelligent minds. They
- 1:24:09Speaker 1: are trying to take people who have been forgotten For
