- 1:49Speaker 5: Look, come.
- 1:58Speaker 2: Come out, you think I sure will? Good morning everybody.
- 2:05Speaker 6: You I listen to the voice. Come on dig me now,
- 2:08Speaker 6: one and only. Steve Harvey got a radio show. Yeah, man,
- 2:12Speaker 6: Steve Harvey got a radio show. Trying to do something
- 2:15Speaker 6: with it too.
- 2:15Speaker 2: Man.
- 2:17Speaker 6: You know, I was having a conversation the other day
- 2:22Speaker 6: with a young person and they were telling me how
- 2:25Speaker 6: they felt that their life was stuck, that their life
- 2:28Speaker 6: was in a rut, that they didn't know what to
- 2:33Speaker 6: do next. And one of the things that was causing
- 2:36Speaker 6: them this sadness or this depression. I mean, they're really
- 2:41Speaker 6: really into something right now. One of the things that
- 2:43Speaker 6: was causing it was the fact that they had made
- 2:48Speaker 6: a list of things they wanted to accomplish by a
- 2:52Speaker 6: certain age, and that age they just had a birthday recently,
- 3:00Speaker 6: and they were looking at the list and the list
- 3:05Speaker 6: hadn't been fulfilled, and because that list hadn't been.
- 3:10Speaker 2: Fulfilled, they were really really sad about it.
- 3:16Speaker 7: You know.
- 3:18Speaker 2: One of the things that they had on.
- 3:19Speaker 6: The list was marriage, kids, and I don't know everything
- 3:25Speaker 6: else that was on the list, but that was one
- 3:27Speaker 6: of them. And because she had reached a certain age
- 3:31Speaker 6: and she wasn't married, and she didn't have the kids,
- 3:34Speaker 6: and she had just celebrated a birthday, she's gone into
- 3:38Speaker 6: this mode of sadness where it's really really taken a
- 3:44Speaker 6: toll on her. And as I was learning about her situation,
- 3:51Speaker 6: I was thinking about it, and I just wanted to
- 3:54Speaker 6: share this with you all this morning that one of
- 3:57Speaker 6: the things about making a list about what you want,
- 4:00Speaker 6: which I happen to be a proponent of, I do
- 4:03Speaker 6: it myself. People have dream boards. I have a goal sheet.
- 4:08Speaker 6: I've been doing it for years. It's a wonderful way
- 4:12Speaker 6: to set goals and to keep it in front of
- 4:15Speaker 6: you as a constant reminder. And I always go over
- 4:18Speaker 6: this goal list every day, you know, I mean I
- 4:20Speaker 6: go of it all the time, every day. Sometimes I
- 4:23Speaker 6: miss a day here and there, but mostly every day
- 4:26Speaker 6: I pull my goal sheet out and I look at it,
- 4:29Speaker 6: I read it. So I was going to these rallies
- 4:31Speaker 6: and I was learning about you know, people who are
- 4:34Speaker 6: successful in how they kept their mind writing possible. And
- 4:37Speaker 6: one of the things I learned was to make these
- 4:39Speaker 6: dream boards, these lists, these gold sheets and making a
- 4:44Speaker 6: gold sheet and you make the sheet according to what
- 4:48Speaker 6: you want. Think about one thing when you made your
- 4:52Speaker 6: goal sheet, about what you wanted? Does your goal sheet
- 4:57Speaker 6: have on it what God wants from you? Did you
- 5:00Speaker 6: ask in any of this what was His will in
- 5:03Speaker 6: your life?
- 5:05Speaker 2: You know?
- 5:05Speaker 6: Look, man, what we want oftentimes is not what He
- 5:10Speaker 6: wants for us. And you know, if you're fighting against
- 5:14Speaker 6: what you were created for, if you're fighting against his will,
- 5:18Speaker 6: I mean.
- 5:19Speaker 2: What do you want to happen?
- 5:21Speaker 7: See?
- 5:22Speaker 2: Don't be so hard.
- 5:23Speaker 6: On yourself when you look at your goal sheet and
- 5:25Speaker 6: you look at what you've not become what you thought
- 5:28Speaker 6: was a great idea. Don't be so hard on yourself
- 5:31Speaker 6: because you just made a minded mistake. As do most people,
- 5:34Speaker 6: we oftentimes make our goals and set our goals up
- 5:37Speaker 6: without ever considering what is it that God wants from us.
- 5:41Speaker 6: We keep talking about what we want without ever finding
- 5:44Speaker 6: out and knowing what it is God wants for us. Well,
- 5:47Speaker 6: guess what, man, maybe you're fighting against the grain. Maybe
- 5:51Speaker 6: you just a salmon heading upstream. That's a tough fight upstream.
- 5:54Speaker 6: Not all salmon's get up to the spawning grounds, you know.
- 5:57Speaker 6: Some of them don't make it upstream, you know. But
- 6:00Speaker 6: all of them, nearly all of them, except the ones
- 6:03Speaker 6: that's killed by pray. When they're spawn they go out
- 6:05Speaker 6: to the ocean. That's cool because you're going because you're
- 6:08Speaker 6: going with the grain. You're going downstream, you're going with
- 6:11Speaker 6: the flow. That's but when it's time to go against
- 6:15Speaker 6: the grain, it's tough. And a lot of us have
- 6:17Speaker 6: just been going against the grain for all of these years.
- 6:20Speaker 6: But you know what, listen, man, I did it. I
- 6:23Speaker 6: know a lot of people who did it. Very few
- 6:26Speaker 6: people get it right from the very beginning. Man, you
- 6:30Speaker 6: got to stumble through life sometimes sometimes you got to
- 6:33Speaker 6: fall through life. You got to make a lot of mistakes, man,
- 6:36Speaker 6: But these mistakes are not failures. You know, when you
- 6:39Speaker 6: fail at something, don't look at it as a failure.
- 6:41Speaker 6: Don't look at yourself as a failure. Because you're thirty
- 6:44Speaker 6: and your goals ain't reached that you had on your list.
- 6:46Speaker 2: That was your list. What about the things that's going right.
- 6:51Speaker 6: Stop looking at what you're not, take some time out
- 6:54Speaker 6: and thank God for what you are. How about the
- 6:56Speaker 6: fact that you keep waking up to be thirty? You
- 6:59Speaker 6: know you get depressed about these birthdays. You really want
- 7:01Speaker 6: to throw yourself in some depression. Miss a birthday, You
- 7:04Speaker 6: really got a problem. Now look at where you are.
- 7:08Speaker 6: You keep reaching birthdays. That's a glorious blessing. You keep
- 7:12Speaker 6: waking up. You got your health, You've accomplished something. Something
- 7:15Speaker 6: on your list is done. People spend too much time
- 7:19Speaker 6: on the negative side, and you're just throwing yourself into depression.
- 7:22Speaker 6: So what you want to be married by a certain
- 7:24Speaker 6: age and you wanted to have kids, Okay, cool, you
- 7:27Speaker 6: could have done all that with the wrong person. There's
- 7:30Speaker 6: a blessing in not being married to the wrong person.
- 7:33Speaker 6: There's a blessing in not having kids and nobody to
- 7:36Speaker 6: help you raise it. There's a blessing in that man.
- 7:38Speaker 6: You're talking to somebody who can tell it to you.
- 7:40Speaker 6: You can marry the wrong person if you want to.
- 7:43Speaker 6: I'm telling you you're gonna be up in some mess.
- 7:45Speaker 6: You can't count on. So instead of being angry because
- 7:49Speaker 6: you're not married, you don't have kids, why don't you
- 7:51Speaker 6: thank God the man? Maybe he spared you from some
- 7:54Speaker 6: misery here. Maybe you could have married the wrong person.
- 7:56Speaker 6: Maybe you have kids and you're not really ready to
- 7:58Speaker 6: be a mother or a father. You got to look
- 8:00Speaker 6: at the upside man, Quit looking at what you don't have.
- 8:04Speaker 6: Take some time to thank God for what you do have.
- 8:07Speaker 6: When you do that, you make more room for blessings
- 8:09Speaker 6: to flow into your life. I'm not saying how God thinks,
- 8:13Speaker 6: because I really don't know, but I'm telling you if
- 8:17Speaker 6: a person comes to me and I always give a
- 8:19Speaker 6: person something and they never appear grateful, or they never
- 8:22Speaker 6: say thank you, please know you can quit coming to
- 8:25Speaker 6: me now. I don't notice how God works because I've
- 8:30Speaker 6: gone back to him several times without being grateful of
- 8:33Speaker 6: thanking him, and he's filled my basket up again. So
- 8:37Speaker 6: I really think he's not like that. But I can't
- 8:39Speaker 6: make the call for sure. But I think at one
- 8:43Speaker 6: point in time me it's just me talking. I'd be
- 8:46Speaker 6: a little ticked off at somebody who was always taking, taking, taking,
- 8:50Speaker 6: and never showing any gratitude at one point in time,
- 8:53Speaker 6: I would just stop the flow of the take you know,
- 8:57Speaker 6: you just.
- 8:57Speaker 2: You can't take no more from me. That's what I would.
- 9:00Speaker 7: Now.
- 9:00Speaker 6: I'm not calling it like that because I ain't him,
- 9:03Speaker 6: but I know he's merciful, He's full of goodness and
- 9:06Speaker 6: he and he'll forgive you. And thank God he does
- 9:09Speaker 6: that because he's show enough done it for me. But wow, man,
- 9:12Speaker 6: take some time out today and be grateful for what
- 9:15Speaker 6: you have. Stop complaining about where you not, and think
- 9:18Speaker 6: about where you are, and then take it from there.
- 9:21Speaker 6: And the next time you make a list, make sure
- 9:23Speaker 6: on that list you have God's will. What does he
- 9:26Speaker 6: want for you? Does God create give everybody a gift
- 9:29Speaker 6: and a talent. Some of us never apply gifts and talents.
- 9:33Speaker 6: We head off in another direction. Then you wonder why
- 9:35Speaker 6: your life ain't where it's supposed to be. Have you
- 9:37Speaker 6: ever thought about what God gifted you to do? Have
- 9:40Speaker 6: you ever thought about doing that? And still skip what
- 9:42Speaker 6: you want? I wanted to play in the NBA, but
- 9:44Speaker 6: I got to tell you something. At dribbling and shooting
- 9:47Speaker 6: and running all at one time throwing me off a
- 9:51Speaker 6: little bit. You know, they just so I'm doing.
- 9:53Speaker 2: What I do. It's pretty cool. You can look at
- 9:56Speaker 2: it that way.
- 9:56Speaker 1: Okay, you're listening.
- 9:59Speaker 6: Morning show, ladies and gentlemen. It is here another great day,
- 10:06Speaker 6: and I mean a great and glorious day it is.
- 10:09Speaker 6: I woke up this morning, man, sat on the edge
- 10:11Speaker 6: of my bed, and I told God how much I
- 10:13Speaker 6: appreciate it. I really did, Man, I ain't making this
- 10:16Speaker 6: stuff up. I set that for a good little while too,
- 10:19Speaker 6: and thanked him for everything. And you know the thing
- 10:22Speaker 6: I've learned to thank him for. I've learned to thank
- 10:25Speaker 6: him for my trials, troubles, all of it, because I
- 10:30Speaker 6: know all of it is working for the good.
- 10:34Speaker 7: That's see.
- 10:34Speaker 2: That's a fact. Man.
- 10:35Speaker 6: I've learned that at sixty six years on this planet.
- 10:39Speaker 2: And man, God works in such mistiefus.
- 10:42Speaker 6: Cat Sha had something else with you, you know, me and
- 10:44Speaker 6: my wife was praying, you know, to get closer to
- 10:47Speaker 6: God and to get closer to each other and keep
- 10:49Speaker 6: our marriage strong.
- 10:50Speaker 2: So you know what he did.
- 10:52Speaker 6: He allowed something to happen that would make us have
- 10:55Speaker 6: to sit in this house and hold on each other
- 10:57Speaker 6: and sit over there and trusting in me more because
- 11:01Speaker 6: ain't nothing we can do about it.
- 11:02Speaker 2: And guess what. It worked.
- 11:04Speaker 6: That two handed circle then got tighter and tighter, and
- 11:07Speaker 6: that trust in God then got stronger and stronger.
- 11:10Speaker 2: So, man, thank you. I appreciate it.
- 11:14Speaker 6: And but I want also want to thank the fans
- 11:16Speaker 6: out there that love us and pray for us and
- 11:18Speaker 6: support us and all that. Man, Thank y'all and to
- 11:22Speaker 6: the rest of y'all, thank you. Oh look, oh I
- 11:34Speaker 6: got something else now, Okay, But I'm trying to be better.
- 11:39Speaker 2: Yeah, do better? Better?
- 11:41Speaker 6: Yeah, so I'm doing better. But can I say one
- 11:43Speaker 6: thing though?
- 11:44Speaker 2: You radio? Yeah?
- 11:46Speaker 6: Yeah, no, this needs to be on the radio. It's
- 11:50Speaker 6: a couple of people, though, A couple of people. If
- 11:55Speaker 6: ever get.
- 11:56Speaker 2: In front of me. You said you're trying to do better.
- 11:58Speaker 1: You just said that.
- 11:59Speaker 2: I just did you hear? The catch key word is trying.
- 12:02Speaker 1: Call you're supposed to do it. If I am doing
- 12:06Speaker 1: not try well.
- 12:08Speaker 6: Some people I can't see though. I can't run up
- 12:10Speaker 6: on couple people at that moment. Y'all gonna need to
- 12:15Speaker 6: pray for me. Charlie Strawberry, Colin Frail, Mississippi, Monica Junior
- 12:19Speaker 6: government named kill state and the legend that is Nephew
- 12:22Speaker 6: Tommy headed somewhere he ain't got no business going.
- 12:25Speaker 2: We might have to pray for this food sitting.
- 12:29Speaker 6: Up in there, getting on the plane going to a
- 12:30Speaker 6: place you ain't never heard of? What tumber We ain't
- 12:32Speaker 6: got to say where you're going? But what made you
- 12:34Speaker 6: decide to go on this trip that you're gonna take.
- 12:37Speaker 8: I got invited by my buddies to go.
- 12:40Speaker 2: On a fishing trip. Now I'm going to Alaska.
- 12:42Speaker 6: We can say that, okay, because what you have to
- 12:44Speaker 6: say that cause it ain't a security rhythm, because ain't
- 12:48Speaker 6: nobody going up there to do nothing?
- 12:52Speaker 9: Well?
- 12:52Speaker 1: He said?
- 12:54Speaker 2: Did he say Atlanta? No? Last when that said in Atlanta?
- 13:00Speaker 8: Eight wall top buddy fishing trip on fishing trip.
- 13:08Speaker 2: Hello, are you gonna be in Lowa Alasta?
- 13:11Speaker 8: Upper Alasta to the to the left of Alaska West?
- 13:17Speaker 2: So oh, like Sarah pay, let's say you can see Russia.
- 13:20Speaker 2: You're gonna be able to.
- 13:24Speaker 10: Are you gonna be able to bring back what you catch?
- 13:26Speaker 10: If you're going up there to fish?

- 13:43Speaker 11: You're listening Hardy Morning show.
- 13:47Speaker 1: It it's time now for the nephew to run that
- 13:49Speaker 1: prank back. What you got for?
- 13:50Speaker 2: It's Tommy, I got that full three relationships?
- 13:53Speaker 1: Sure?
- 13:53Speaker 8: Everybody want that that four to three relationships? Four days here,
- 13:57Speaker 8: three days with somebody else. Let's go catch down.
- 14:00Speaker 12: Hello.
- 14:01Speaker 9: Hello, I'm trying to reach Maurice.
- 14:02Speaker 12: Yeah, this him.
- 14:03Speaker 9: Hey Maurice, my name, My name is Devin Man. How
- 14:05Speaker 9: you doing this evening? Brother?
- 14:07Speaker 12: Oh? Man, I'm kind of sleeping man working nice?
- 14:10Speaker 7: Bro?
- 14:10Speaker 12: What's going on?
- 14:12Speaker 9: This is Devin Man. I talked to your wife, Kesha
- 14:14Speaker 9: the other day. That's that's your wife, right, Yeah, that's
- 14:17Speaker 9: my wife. Yeah, I talked to you wife. Is she
- 14:19Speaker 9: in right now?
- 14:20Speaker 12: No, she's not in.
- 14:21Speaker 9: She at work? Bro? Okay, okay, I probably got No.
- 14:23Speaker 9: I ain't mean to wake you up. You work at
- 14:24Speaker 9: night or something.
- 14:25Speaker 12: Yeah, I'm a crane operator at night, brother, and all
- 14:27Speaker 12: the people don't call me. That's three o'clock either. What's this?
- 14:30Speaker 12: What is a bill collect or?
- 14:32Speaker 13: Something?
- 14:33Speaker 9: No? No, no, no, no, no no no no. I talked
- 14:34Speaker 9: to you wife. Man, she's interested in this thing we
- 14:37Speaker 9: got man called a four to three relationship. She told
- 14:40Speaker 9: me she want me to call back and talk to
- 14:41Speaker 9: her husband about it, and she gave me the number
- 14:44Speaker 9: to hit you up at the house, man and let
- 14:46Speaker 9: you know all about the four to three relationship, because
- 14:48Speaker 9: she's really interested in it.
- 14:49Speaker 12: A four to three relationship. And you say you talked
- 14:53Speaker 12: to my wife about it.
- 14:54Speaker 9: Yeah, I talked to Keisha a couple of days ago.
- 14:56Speaker 9: She gave me the number. She said, called him back.
- 14:57Speaker 9: He'll be at home at this time. You can hit
- 14:59Speaker 9: him up and see if he likes you say. But
- 15:01Speaker 9: she definitely likes it, man, And she wanted to see
- 15:03Speaker 9: if you would be interested in the four to three
- 15:05Speaker 9: relationship too, you know, I we want to get your
- 15:07Speaker 9: approval on it before we went in it further. But
- 15:09Speaker 9: your wife was very excited about it, man. She was
- 15:12Speaker 9: wanting to get started as soon as possible. And I
- 15:14Speaker 9: wanted to see about contacting you with making sure that
- 15:18Speaker 9: you agreed and approved on everything. But she definitely wanted
- 15:20Speaker 9: to get your blessing, gets your approval on it.
- 15:23Speaker 12: Yeah, I'll try to do anything to make her happy, dooll.
- 15:26Speaker 12: But I got to get some more some information about
- 15:29Speaker 12: this what is that again?
- 15:30Speaker 9: A three three? No, No, it's a four to three.
- 15:33Speaker 9: A four to three relationship is what it is.
- 15:36Speaker 12: Okay, Well, if it make her happy, you know, I'm
- 15:38Speaker 12: willing to listen.
- 15:38Speaker 9: Okay, Well listen, man, we were probably gonna get started
- 15:41Speaker 9: right away, probably Monday. We'll get started on Monday. Uh,
- 15:44Speaker 9: you'll go through Monday through Thursday and then and then
- 15:47Speaker 9: I'll pick up you know, Friday through Sunday, man, and
- 15:50Speaker 9: we'll go ahead and get this thing started. I think
- 15:51Speaker 9: after a month you'll pretty much catch on everything.
- 15:54Speaker 12: You know, there's something gonna be shipped to the house.
- 15:58Speaker 12: Pick you say, pick up? What you mean pick up?
- 16:00Speaker 9: She she doesn't have mentioned any of this to you.
- 16:02Speaker 12: No, man, she means nothing this to me.
- 16:04Speaker 9: All right, Well, what this is, man? A fourth to
- 16:06Speaker 9: three relationship, Maurice? Is this? You know? You spend four
- 16:09Speaker 9: days with Keisha and she comes over to my place
- 16:13Speaker 9: and she spends the other three days with me. That's
- 16:16Speaker 9: what a four to three relationship. So see this kind
- 16:19Speaker 9: of frees you up, man, on anything you might want
- 16:21Speaker 9: to do on those other three days, man, where she
- 16:23Speaker 9: might be tying you down, you know, so for them days,
- 16:26Speaker 9: you know you would her, but the other three days
- 16:28Speaker 9: you kind of have some free time to yourself, but
- 16:31Speaker 9: shil be over my place on the other three days.
- 16:33Speaker 9: That's what that's what basically a four to three relationship is.
- 16:36Speaker 9: Pardon me, say what now?
- 16:38Speaker 12: I say, pardon me? You say she'll spend four days
- 16:41Speaker 12: with me three days with you.
- 16:44Speaker 9: That's that's it, sir, That's the four to three relationship
- 16:46Speaker 9: right there. Maurice, you know you're you're really gonna like
- 16:48Speaker 9: this man, Like I say, she was excited about it.
- 16:51Speaker 12: Hold are you serious?
- 16:53Speaker 9: Yeah? I'm there serious man, Like I said, Keisha was excited.
- 16:57Speaker 12: The I know wife, Ain't this to you about relationship? Spinish?
- 17:02Speaker 12: Four days with me? Three days?
- 17:04Speaker 7: Was he?
- 17:05Speaker 12: Man? You talking about my fighting? Tama?
- 17:08Speaker 9: No, you know, I know you Hold up? What thing again?
- 17:12Speaker 9: My name is Devin, Devin.
- 17:14Speaker 12: Say bro, I don't play things.
- 17:16Speaker 9: Man.
- 17:17Speaker 12: I don't know how got my numbers?
- 17:19Speaker 9: What's what I mean? My reason? What's wrong? I mean

- 27:07Speaker 6: red light working. You hear me at red light working?
- 27:11Speaker 8: What is the read like the red light when you're
- 27:13Speaker 8: sitting there, just sitting there at the balls for a minute.

- 27:33Speaker 1: What that means red light tail?
- 27:37Speaker 2: I ain't never heard of red.
- 27:40Speaker 7: So Celo.
- 27:41Speaker 1: She is right with that.
- 27:42Speaker 6: You ain't want to sleep with you. And the thing

- 27:48Speaker 6: what you wrote.
- 27:48Speaker 1: In for she said it turns her on.

- 28:05Speaker 1: Here we go last one.
- 28:07Speaker 10: Joshua and Montgomery says, I'm living with a woman that
- 28:10Speaker 10: is twelve years older than I am. She tries to
- 28:12Speaker 10: be in control because it's her house. But I make
- 28:15Speaker 10: good money and I can get us a new house.
- 28:17Speaker 10: I want to marry her, But will she always be
- 28:19Speaker 10: in control because she's older?
- 28:22Speaker 2: Well, you know, twelve years to a woman.
- 28:25Speaker 6: You know, she probably been running stuff for a long
- 28:28Speaker 6: time and now you came along. It's hard for women
- 28:31Speaker 6: to let control go when they've been doing it for
- 28:34Speaker 6: so long, and they're not gonna let it go unless
- 28:37Speaker 6: they're absolutely certainly sure that you've got it.
- 28:40Speaker 2: Now. You can't just you got it.
- 28:43Speaker 6: You got to go in there and prove that you
- 28:45Speaker 6: got it before she let go. A woman ain't finna
- 28:48Speaker 6: let go unless she know you got it. They're not
- 28:50Speaker 6: finna do that. They not finna do that home, And
- 28:55Speaker 6: I don't know what to tell you about that. And
- 28:56Speaker 6: you can't blame them either. So you know, ain't finna
- 28:59Speaker 6: let go? And then you let go? Everybody can let go?
- 29:02Speaker 1: All right, let go?
- 29:04Speaker 7: Now?
- 29:04Speaker 2: She let down.
- 29:08Speaker 1: Of the hour.
- 29:09Speaker 10: Bill Bellamy will be our special guest right after this.
- 29:14Speaker 11: You're listening Morning show.
- 29:19Speaker 6: Everybody here we go. We got our special Guests this morning.
- 29:22Speaker 6: In the words of Peedy Poblem, I told y'all everybody
- 29:28Speaker 6: had it, but y'all wouldn't listen to it. Now you
- 29:32Speaker 6: see it popping off, got you in the club, dancing
- 29:36Speaker 6: your ass off. Take it down, Take it down, lazy
- 29:41Speaker 6: general special guest, a legend in.
- 29:44Speaker 2: The comedy game. We go back like Cadillac Sea.
- 29:48Speaker 6: First time I met Bill Bellamy was almost thirty some
- 29:51Speaker 6: years ago. I met him at Death Jam up in
- 29:54Speaker 6: New York. I got invited to do a club he
- 29:57Speaker 6: had later on called the Peppermint Lounge.
- 30:01Speaker 2: Let me explain something here we go here, We do.
- 30:04Speaker 6: Not go to the Peppermint Lounge unless you have your
- 30:09Speaker 6: sugar honey he key because of that him gangster. It's
- 30:16Speaker 6: not a comedy club. It's a fine squak when your
- 30:20Speaker 6: ass walk out there. Get ready, ladies and gentlemen. My dude,
- 30:24Speaker 6: he's a new author. He's got some comedy dates coming
- 30:27Speaker 6: up we're gonna tell you about. But most importantly, we're
- 30:30Speaker 6: gonna find out about this new book called Top Billing
- 30:33Speaker 6: and a new movie called Back on the Strip that
- 30:36Speaker 6: he's starting in. We got a lot to talk about, Ladies, genlemen,
- 30:39Speaker 6: please put your hands together for deep one and on
- 30:42Speaker 6: it back. Damn Bill Bellamy, Yeah.
- 30:50Speaker 15: You intro to be so big. When I go to
- 30:52Speaker 15: Whole Foods, I just want your boys while I'm in
- 31:00Speaker 15: and asparagus.
- 31:07Speaker 6: I feel I did it for moments like this because
- 31:09Speaker 6: I know how to bring him out.
- 31:11Speaker 15: I'm telling you, man, you my whole career. Bro, I
- 31:14Speaker 15: just want I'm so excited to get on with you
- 31:16Speaker 15: because we hadn't caught up in a wound. I just
- 31:18Speaker 15: want to tell you right, give your flowers. You've always
- 31:21Speaker 15: been a big brother to me, and they're so funny
- 31:24Speaker 15: because because we were damn near the same age, but
- 31:26Speaker 15: you always.
- 31:27Speaker 14: Seem a little older than me.
- 31:28Speaker 15: Like you, I feel like you had a colored supreme
- 31:31Speaker 15: before me. So I was like, you know what, Like
- 31:40Speaker 15: he always had a diamond back in the summer rooftop, right,
- 31:42Speaker 15: So I wanted to tell Steve was one of the
- 31:45Speaker 15: funniest he the first time I ever came to Dallas,
- 31:48Speaker 15: Steve brought me there right, And so I thought Steve
- 31:52Speaker 15: was gonna put me up put me up right. I
- 31:54Speaker 15: was like, Yo, he keeps driving away from the nice area.
- 31:57Speaker 15: Is he going to pull up into the front of
- 32:01Speaker 15: the Hampton there. Now, I'm never staying the Hampton there
- 32:04Speaker 15: in my life, right, So let me tell you how
- 32:06Speaker 15: funny this Hampton is. You remember the one where your
- 32:08Speaker 15: car could be you you could see your lights and
- 32:10Speaker 15: plate from the window. You know that was so you
- 32:13Speaker 15: open the door, you got the radiator or the little
- 32:15Speaker 15: the little the heat right there at right there, but
- 32:18Speaker 15: you could look at your car when they rob it.
- 32:20Speaker 15: Right yo, I'm gonna tell you how bad this hotel was.
- 32:29Speaker 15: When Steve was leaving, I was saying, you're leaving right now,
- 32:32Speaker 15: you go. He was like, yeah, I'll be back tonight
- 32:35Speaker 15: to get you. I was like, oh, okay, we'll locked
- 32:37Speaker 15: that door now.
- 32:42Speaker 6: That's all the money I had. I thought it was nice.
- 32:44Speaker 6: It was close to the club, right down the street.
- 32:48Speaker 15: But that's the part, like people don't know how far
- 32:50Speaker 15: we go back.
- 32:51Speaker 9: Man.
- 32:51Speaker 15: I love you, guys, I love you. Steve were always
- 32:54Speaker 15: being a great dude and funny to me. But you
- 32:56Speaker 15: one of the funniest dudes ever alive. You got the
- 32:59Speaker 15: best Mike tythen joke to ever be said. I've never
- 33:03Speaker 15: seen an I come live Like that's the beauty of
- 33:06Speaker 15: comedy and creativity. Like we came up in the era
- 33:10Speaker 15: where we had to be so fuddy like. We couldn't
- 33:12Speaker 15: even be regular fuddy.
- 33:13Speaker 6: Well be out because it was too many gorillas on

- 34:12Speaker 2: Man, this dude right here, Bill felling me.
- 34:15Speaker 6: He was so smooth on death Chair, and that was
- 34:18Speaker 6: he was New York Jersey kid.

- 34:29Speaker 2: was funny.
- 34:30Speaker 7: Yeah, but I love men.
- 34:32Speaker 15: I just love the fact that you know, we're able to,
- 34:35Speaker 15: you know, in our careers, to continue to make people
- 34:38Speaker 15: laugh and be entertained in our own ways. You know
- 34:40Speaker 15: what I'm saying.

- 35:00Speaker 7: Do a day.
- 35:01Speaker 2: Yeah, you know what I mean.

- 35:06Speaker 15: I just think that you know, You've always been that
- 35:08Speaker 15: kind of guy in my career. So it's just like dope,
- 35:10Speaker 15: Like I get a chance to kick it with you,

- 36:15Speaker 6: it's on all formats, is on Kindle, it's on Amazon,
- 36:19Speaker 6: it's on all the downloads. It's everywhere, y'all. Steve Harvey, Nation,
- 36:26Speaker 6: support this brother that has been around in our lives
- 36:29Speaker 6: on so many, so many years, on so many levels.
- 36:32Speaker 6: Man always the same when we talk. But Bill, we
- 36:35Speaker 6: were talking about the book. The book is called top Billing,
- 36:38Speaker 6: and you were talking about people have to get up,
- 36:41Speaker 6: and I was asking you what do you think was
- 36:43Speaker 6: the most resounding thing that's helped you? And you said,
- 36:46Speaker 6: your faith in God. You were talking about a lot
- 36:48Speaker 6: of hardships that's happened, a loss, your mother, your father,
- 36:52Speaker 6: your brother.
- 36:52Speaker 2: I didn't even know about your brother.
- 36:53Speaker 4: Man.
- 36:54Speaker 15: Yeah, man, it was crazy, crazy man. And you get
- 36:57Speaker 15: tested in.
- 36:58Speaker 9: Life, and you know what you stand on them, what
- 37:01Speaker 9: you believe in because, like you said it earlier, circumstances
- 37:05Speaker 9: just happened just because you're successful and got money and this,
- 37:08Speaker 9: that and the other, and you think you're famous.
- 37:10Speaker 15: You don't mean that.
- 37:10Speaker 9: Don't mean you ain't gonna have a bad Tuesday a Wednesday. Right,
- 37:13Speaker 9: So Tuesday and Wednesday come to everybody, Right, So.
- 37:19Speaker 15: What you're gonna do in that moment? What do you
- 37:21Speaker 15: How do you persevere in a moment when it ain't
- 37:23Speaker 15: funny or when you know you are a little doubtful
- 37:27Speaker 15: and you know you gotta go. You really got to
- 37:30Speaker 15: pray on it because we all are human and so
- 37:33Speaker 15: I wanted to share that quality with people too, because
- 37:36Speaker 15: there's that's the humanity.
- 37:38Speaker 9: In all of us, Like how do we get up
- 37:40Speaker 9: when we fall?
- 37:42Speaker 15: And that's one of the life lessons that you know
- 37:44Speaker 15: I talk about in the books, like how do I
- 37:46Speaker 15: get back up? How do I get back on.
- 37:49Speaker 9: My square where I still have that drive, and you
- 37:52Speaker 9: know I had to catch myself. I say, good man,
- 37:55Speaker 9: I'm depressed. You know I am not radiating on my
- 37:59Speaker 9: normal frequency. You know, when you got a four charging batty,
- 38:02Speaker 9: you can talk all day, right, but when you're on
- 38:04Speaker 9: three percent, like Mitch McCollum was the other day, I.
- 38:07Speaker 7: Was like, you know what, man, you see me, see
- 38:14Speaker 7: me see.
- 38:16Speaker 9: They're about to shut off his phone because.
- 38:18Speaker 6: He see see see see right there. See we've been
- 38:27Speaker 6: trying to avoid these health issue jokes.
- 38:29Speaker 2: But that was three percent.
- 38:32Speaker 6: You just boughted up, just threw it out like it
- 38:34Speaker 6: wasn't nothing. Yeah, come, hey, y'all. Hey, hey hey man,
- 38:38Speaker 6: let me tap on this phone. We run out of town. Okay, go,

- 39:13Speaker 15: of great things.
- 39:14Speaker 2: Going on, ladies and gentlemen.
- 39:16Speaker 6: Legend on the phone. When we come back, we got
- 39:19Speaker 6: more that damn Bill BELLI.
- 39:24Speaker 11: Morning Show.
- 39:26Speaker 6: All right, everybody, we're back, and our special guest this
- 39:29Speaker 6: morning is a longtime friend. Man, we go back. I'm
- 39:31Speaker 6: talking about Man way way back to the beginning.
- 39:35Speaker 2: Uh e.
- 39:35Speaker 6: I well, not from the very beginning, because he was
- 39:38Speaker 6: already on his way when we met and we were
- 39:41Speaker 6: both trying to get He was just trying to be famous.
- 39:44Speaker 2: Man and Death Jam.
- 39:47Speaker 6: When I look back, I'm gonna say this real quick, Bill,
- 39:50Speaker 6: When I look back at Death Jam, there was absolutely
- 39:56Speaker 6: nothing that created more doll in television and movies.
- 40:04Speaker 2: Than Death Jair, No, no question.
- 40:06Speaker 6: If you look at the town that was on Death
- 40:10Speaker 6: Jail over thirty some years and where they are throughout
- 40:15Speaker 6: that thirty year period and today them names is a legend, man,
- 40:19Speaker 6: and there's nothing anybody else has done that has produced
- 40:24Speaker 6: that many stars. And that's a fact. And today we
- 40:27Speaker 6: got one of them on the show today. Bill, you
- 40:30Speaker 6: got a new book out, man. The name of the
- 40:32Speaker 6: book is called Top Villain. What is this book about.
- 40:35Speaker 15: Man, Well, my memoir is about my life, man, and
- 40:38Speaker 15: some of the choices that I had made. Thank God
- 40:42Speaker 15: that got me to where I am because, you know,
- 40:45Speaker 15: coming up as a you know, poor inner city kid
- 40:48Speaker 15: out of knew if New Jersey wasn't a lot of comedians,
- 40:51Speaker 15: I knew I didn't know anybody that was in an
- 40:53Speaker 15: entertainment game. I just fell in love with this thing
- 40:56Speaker 15: called comedy. Man. That's been my baby my whole life. Like,
- 40:59Speaker 15: I just always wanted to make people laugh. And then
- 41:02Speaker 15: I didn't know you could be a comedian. I didn't
- 41:04Speaker 15: know that, you know, you could have a career and
- 41:07Speaker 15: people remember you and know your name and all this
- 41:09Speaker 15: kind of stuff. So when I did my book, I
- 41:12Speaker 15: was going back over my life looking at different pictures.
- 41:14Speaker 15: I always encourage people to take pictures of your life
- 41:18Speaker 15: because we keep moving.
- 41:19Speaker 12: And we forgive a key moment.
- 41:21Speaker 9: That changed in your life. Right, and so me getting
- 41:25Speaker 9: like give you an example. When I was in college,
- 41:28Speaker 9: I had told one of my best friends, Man, I
- 41:29Speaker 9: think I want to be a comedian. You know what
- 41:31Speaker 9: he said, Man, do that be He was like, yo,
- 41:34Speaker 9: b I you that looked like.
- 41:36Speaker 15: You, right. I didn't know I could actually do it
- 41:39Speaker 15: at the time. So I spoke it into that the universe.
- 41:42Speaker 15: The universe received it, and then this snowballs just started happening.
- 41:47Speaker 15: So when I started thinking about my book, I'm like, man,
- 41:49Speaker 15: thank god, I said I wanted to do this. Thank
- 41:51Speaker 15: god I met this person. Thank god I met Bob's thunder.
- 41:55Speaker 15: Thank god. You know, I was on us showtime at
- 41:59Speaker 15: the problem with Steven. They got it. You know, I
- 42:01Speaker 15: went to bookoo rate they got because there's so many
- 42:04Speaker 15: times you could you could have said no, or you
- 42:06Speaker 15: could have.
- 42:07Speaker 9: Not believed in yourself.
- 42:08Speaker 15: And your life would not even get to where we are, right.
- 42:11Speaker 15: I mean the same with you. You know, you had
- 42:13Speaker 15: a moment in your life when you wasn't doing very well,
- 42:15Speaker 15: and what if you just said I'm not gonna do
- 42:17Speaker 15: comedy no more. I wouldn't even be on the phone
- 42:19Speaker 15: with you.
- 42:20Speaker 7: You know what I'm saying.
- 42:21Speaker 6: When you read a book like this, you've got a
- 42:24Speaker 6: guy that's telling you the weird really, and it's gonna
- 42:28Speaker 6: resonate with a lot of people because people got to
- 42:30Speaker 6: know the good and the bad. A lot of people
- 42:32Speaker 6: write books to just tell you the goods. Well, what
- 42:35Speaker 6: about the bad though? Because the bads don't happen. What
- 42:39Speaker 6: you think was the most redeeming quality for you that
- 42:42Speaker 6: helped you with stand and deal with.
- 42:44Speaker 15: The bad o my faith in God, you know. And
- 42:49Speaker 15: I've had some magnificent losses, you know. I lost my
- 42:52Speaker 15: dad last year, I lost my mom, I lost my brother.
- 42:56Speaker 15: It was like a back to back on tsunami pain,
- 43:00Speaker 15: you know what I mean. And people don't ever think that,
- 43:02Speaker 15: you know, Comedians have tough times, man yo, man dad,
- 43:05Speaker 15: it's a heartache that it's just like beyond what you
- 43:09Speaker 15: can imagine. But how do you get through it a
- 43:12Speaker 15: day to time? How do you get through a prayer?
- 43:14Speaker 15: How do you get through a storm? Optimism, your hope,
- 43:18Speaker 15: your belief in yourself, you know, and a lot of
- 43:20Speaker 15: us get kicked down, you know. And it could be
- 43:23Speaker 15: it could be something like mine. It could be a
- 43:25Speaker 15: loss of a job, it could be the loss of
- 43:26Speaker 15: a child, like there's so.
- 43:27Speaker 9: Many different ways, like can't hit you in the.
- 43:30Speaker 15: Gut, But we got to get up, you know what
- 43:32Speaker 15: I mean. And that's what I hope My book top
- 43:34Speaker 15: feeling like you know the title top building, like you
- 43:36Speaker 15: want to be the best you could be, Like you
- 43:38Speaker 15: want to get through, right, So you got to push.
- 43:41Speaker 15: You just gotta push, you know what I mean. And
- 43:43Speaker 15: you ain't gonna get it all in the day, you
- 43:45Speaker 15: know what I mean. You've got to push mine lift go.
- 43:48Speaker 6: Yeah, man, that's what I'm talking. Hey, listen, we're gonna
- 43:52Speaker 6: come back with more Field telling me we're gonna talk
- 43:54Speaker 6: more about the book and more.
- 43:56Speaker 2: About the book is out. It's on all formats, y'all.
- 43:59Speaker 2: He's got a audio book, is Bill? Is audio book?
- 44:03Speaker 7: In your voice? My boy?
- 44:05Speaker 2: Oh hell no.
- 44:06Speaker 15: I didn't want more than Freeman to do it because
- 44:07Speaker 15: y'all be sleeping, So I just say.
- 44:14Speaker 2: All from Bill, but after this the book in his
- 44:17Speaker 2: own boy.
- 44:19Speaker 11: You're listening hard Morning Show.
- 44:23Speaker 6: All right, y'all, we're back. We're back with Steve Hardy
- 44:25Speaker 6: Morning Show. So Bill Uh back on the stripper, back
- 44:29Speaker 6: on the strip. Everybody is with Wesley Snipes, Kevin hard
- 44:33Speaker 6: Gary on Tiffany Hattis.
- 44:35Speaker 2: What what is back on the strip about?
- 44:37Speaker 15: Well, we play strippers that's trying to get back together
- 44:40Speaker 15: and what Steve listen, listen to me. I start. It
- 44:45Speaker 15: was easy to be a stripper. After I had to
- 44:47Speaker 15: do all them dance I learned two words hip flexer okay,
- 44:52Speaker 15: and when your hip flexa goes, you don hey listen,
- 45:01Speaker 15: hey jeeves. Now every time I see a strip of
- 45:04Speaker 15: I'll give him an extra twenty. I realized, Man, I was,
- 45:11Speaker 15: You've ever been so in a spot you didn't know
- 45:14Speaker 15: existent on your body because you got to keep doing
- 45:16Speaker 15: these dance moves.
- 45:17Speaker 9: Over and over. I fased on love just passed out.
- 45:20Speaker 9: He said, Man, go ahead, man, Gary Owen blew his
- 45:26Speaker 9: knee out.
- 45:28Speaker 2: Hey, man, what are y'all? Some whole ass? And we're
- 45:31Speaker 2: trying to.
- 45:31Speaker 15: Get we're trying to get back in shape. But we
- 45:34Speaker 15: really really was trying to get back in shape. When
- 45:36Speaker 15: I tell you, there was an injury every day.
- 45:38Speaker 10: And he was like, God, funny though, but it's very funny.
- 45:44Speaker 15: You know, these guys are dysfunctional, uh friends, you know,
- 45:48Speaker 15: like it was almost like, you know, the temptations of whatever.
- 45:51Speaker 15: A group of guys we call the chocolate chips, and
- 45:55Speaker 15: we're gonna get.
- 45:55Speaker 9: That chocolate right.
- 45:56Speaker 15: We got to get back in shape. We got to
- 45:58Speaker 15: get the boys back together. We got to get our team.
- 46:00Speaker 15: So it's it's a journey of comedy.
- 46:02Speaker 7: JB.
- 46:03Speaker 15: Smooth, he's in there acting the fool.
- 46:06Speaker 9: You know.
- 46:06Speaker 15: Everybody's in a different place like I'm. You know, I
- 46:09Speaker 15: was like this little you know, really hot hot stripper.
- 46:12Speaker 15: Now I got full daughters, you know, and you know,
- 46:15Speaker 15: you know JB. JB is a path to now. But
- 46:18Speaker 15: he still keep doing stripper stuff, white preaching. He can't stop.
- 46:27Speaker 15: He can't stop moving his waist, you know when.
- 46:32Speaker 9: So it's a lot of fun and you know, and
- 46:35Speaker 9: stuff like that. So I really had a good time
- 46:37Speaker 9: doing that movie.
- 46:39Speaker 2: Hey man, congratulations on everything.
- 46:41Speaker 15: Hey bro, I love you, man. I'm always there for you.
- 46:44Speaker 15: Call me, you know, next time when you own your helicopter,
- 46:47Speaker 15: call me when you get down, not in the air.
- 46:52Speaker 6: The only reason I told you that so somebody would
- 46:54Speaker 6: know where I was. I'm on helicop I ain't. I
- 47:00Speaker 6: I didn't even tell him who I was. I just
- 47:02Speaker 6: said I'm in a helicop John. But usually that's out.
- 47:07Speaker 7: The country when you do that. I don't.
- 47:09Speaker 2: I don't really do helicopters here in America.
- 47:13Speaker 6: My first helicopter ride was on a mosquito, what they
- 47:17Speaker 6: call the mosquito, that little bubble joint.
- 47:20Speaker 2: Yeah, it's just you and the pilot.
- 47:22Speaker 6: And you sit up in there and you can look
- 47:24Speaker 6: down and it's glass at the bottom and.
- 47:26Speaker 2: You could see the tree top the top house. I didn't.
- 47:29Speaker 15: We don't do that. We don't care for that one
- 47:33Speaker 15: too good.
- 47:35Speaker 2: I need two engines and we need two.
- 47:38Speaker 15: Pilots because one of y'all could fall out. You know,
- 47:42Speaker 15: you know they say they say faint, they say seizeon.
- 47:45Speaker 15: But when we was coming up, it was called fallout.
- 47:47Speaker 15: One of y'all could fall out.
- 47:50Speaker 2: Yeah, faint and seizure. It wasn't None of that wasn't. Listen,
- 47:55Speaker 2: listen to me.

- 47:59Speaker 6: every where you can go to stars. You can go online,
- 48:03Speaker 6: you can buy it, you can download it. He's got
- 48:04Speaker 6: an audio book that's in his voice.
- 48:07Speaker 7: Not to be.
- 48:07Speaker 6: Confused with Morgan Freeman, because he don't want you to
- 48:10Speaker 6: go to sleep, and he did it in his voice. Also,
- 48:13Speaker 6: you need to go see the movie back on the
- 48:15Speaker 6: Strippers in theaters now. He's alongside Wesley Snipes, Kevin Hard,

- 49:30Speaker 10: We touched on a little bit as we left the
- 49:33Speaker 10: radio yesterdays as we got off the air. But this
- 49:37Speaker 10: this situation on this airplane with this guy that had diarrhea.
- 49:44Speaker 2: Trend in the story.
- 49:45Speaker 1: Yeah, it's still all over the end.
- 49:47Speaker 6: First of all, let me tell you they was on
- 49:49Speaker 6: the flight. Where did the flight originate.
- 49:51Speaker 1: From Atlanta and going to Barcelona?
- 49:55Speaker 6: Yeah, let me play when you have it that as
- 50:00Speaker 6: bad as this man had.
- 50:02Speaker 1: Uh huh.
- 50:05Speaker 2: You got on the plane not feeling.
- 50:08Speaker 1: Yourself, so you were a little sick something.
- 50:12Speaker 6: Yeah, this don't just this ain't because what he did
- 50:16Speaker 6: didn't happen just all of a sudden out of.
- 50:18Speaker 1: Open right, tommy a something.
- 50:20Speaker 2: This was pressure. This is building up now.
- 50:24Speaker 6: I know you want to go to Spain, but that's
- 50:27Speaker 6: a long ass flight. I don't even know how long
- 50:29Speaker 6: the flight is. But you can't get on a plane

- 52:08Speaker 6: I got to get in his bathroom, so you can't

- 52:15Speaker 6: no problem going up here where y'all fixing food. Give
- 52:19Speaker 6: me your trash can, give me your trash can. Yes,
- 52:25Speaker 6: But other people, yeah, they will see now that's where
- 52:29Speaker 6: it was so bad.
- 52:31Speaker 2: Some sugar honey ice tea on meat.
- 52:34Speaker 1: Huh say that again?
- 52:36Speaker 2: If you splash some sugar honey ice. He was six.
- 52:42Speaker 2: I don't give it, Damn, I'm gonna be sick and injured.
- 52:45Speaker 2: So now now that didn't happen.

- 54:09Speaker 1: Thank you, nephew. Subject she's coming over where?
- 54:13Speaker 7: Huh?
- 54:13Speaker 1: Yes, Steven Shirley.
- 54:14Speaker 10: For the first two years of my marriage, we worked
- 54:18Speaker 10: hard to blend our children and our exes. I've done
- 54:21Speaker 10: a great job with my ex husband because he's remarried
- 54:25Speaker 10: and his new wife is respectful and mature. My husband's
- 54:29Speaker 10: ex is still single, bitter and immature, so it's hard
- 54:33Speaker 10: to co parent with her. She told my husband that
- 54:35Speaker 10: I purposely buy my children design her clothes because I
- 54:39Speaker 10: know she can't afford to buy them for her two daughters.
- 54:42Speaker 10: When I did buy their daughter a small designer purse,
- 54:46Speaker 10: the ex wife had it and she posted it on Facebook,
- 54:49Speaker 10: So no, I'm not buying any more bags. She was
- 54:53Speaker 10: so evil up until she met a nice man and
- 54:56Speaker 10: she seemed to be happy. A few months later, he
- 54:59Speaker 10: ghosted her. The children said their mom accused a man
- 55:02Speaker 10: of cheating, but he was at Bible study and his
- 55:05Speaker 10: pastor confirmed it. Right after that. Bitter Betty was back
- 55:10Speaker 10: For some odd reason. My husband felt a little compassion
- 55:13Speaker 10: for her, and he sat me down on August twenty fifth.
- 55:17Speaker 10: I will never forget the day or the time. It
- 55:20Speaker 10: was four point thirty two pm. He asked me if
- 55:23Speaker 10: I would be okay with inviting his ex wife over
- 55:26Speaker 10: for labor Day so she wouldn't be alone. I jumped
- 55:29Speaker 10: up and my husband ran out of the room. I
- 55:32Speaker 10: don't know what came over me. How did he fix
- 55:35Speaker 10: his mouth to ask me that I went to my parents'
- 55:38Speaker 10: house to vent and get their advice. My mom agreed
- 55:41Speaker 10: with my husband and said that I'd be the bigger
- 55:44Speaker 10: person if I allowed the woman to come over. My
- 55:46Speaker 10: dad said that my husband is a big wooss. Needless
- 55:50Speaker 10: to say, the ex wife was not at my house
- 55:53Speaker 10: for labor day, and my husband is still pouting about it.
- 55:56Speaker 10: He says, I'm not trying to keep the peace. Was
- 55:59Speaker 10: I the one being immatured this time?
- 56:01Speaker 1: Well?
- 56:02Speaker 10: I got to tell you that your mom is right,
- 56:05Speaker 10: of course in theory. I mean she's taking the Michelle Obama.
- 56:09Speaker 10: When they go low, we go high approach.
- 56:11Speaker 1: In this mess. She wants you to be a bigger person.
- 56:14Speaker 10: But while it sounds good, I'm really in agreement with you.
- 56:18Speaker 10: This woman is immature and jealous and she's not gonna
- 56:21Speaker 10: act right.
- 56:22Speaker 1: I just don't see it.
- 56:23Speaker 10: She's had too many chances to do the right thing,
- 56:26Speaker 10: and she's failed it every turn. She had her daughter's
- 56:28Speaker 10: designer bag and posted it on her Facebook. Why I
- 56:32Speaker 10: mean that was unnecessary. You bought the bag for the baby,
- 56:35Speaker 10: not her. You would think she'd be happy and grateful that.
- 56:38Speaker 10: You don't make a difference between your kids and her kids.
- 56:41Speaker 10: You treat them all the same. But no, she continues
- 56:45Speaker 10: to act up. You believe in holding her accountable for
- 56:48Speaker 10: her actions. Your husband doesn't. If you're feeling a certain
- 56:52Speaker 10: way about it. Remember the bottom line at your house,
- 56:54Speaker 10: and if you're uncomfortable with having her there, you don't
- 56:57Speaker 10: have to, especially, you know, if it's not really going right,
- 57:02Speaker 10: the co parenting is not going well between them. I
- 57:05Speaker 10: think you guys would be better off introducing her to
- 57:07Speaker 10: some of your single male friends. If you have any sense,
- 57:09Speaker 10: you say she's happier when she has a man.
- 57:12Speaker 6: Steve Well, I think we've run into a situation here
- 57:17Speaker 6: where we're trying to accommodate somebody, and that's not don't.
- 57:24Speaker 6: I don't think that's what has to happen here. I
- 57:28Speaker 6: think it's very difficult. These blended families, these exes and
- 57:33Speaker 6: all like this. This is difficult and you're gonna run
- 57:36Speaker 6: into some challenges. Now you the first two years of
- 57:40Speaker 6: your marriage, y'all worked hard to blend y'all kids and
- 57:43Speaker 6: y'all exes. Now here you go bragging a little bit.
- 57:47Speaker 6: I've done a great job. My ex husband because he's
- 57:49Speaker 6: remarried and his new wife is respectful and mature. My
- 57:53Speaker 6: husband is still single, bitter and immature, and it's hard
- 57:57Speaker 6: to cope parents with her. It's gonna be the problem.
- 58:02Speaker 6: Once they see that a man has moved on, then
- 58:06Speaker 6: they figure they immediately want to blame the new one
- 58:09Speaker 6: as the reason why. I ain't really got nothing to
- 58:11Speaker 6: do with it. He didne just moved on. They didn't
- 58:14Speaker 6: work out. She told my husband that you intentionally buy
- 58:19Speaker 6: your children designer clothes because I know she can't afford
- 58:22Speaker 6: to buy them for her two daughter.
- 58:25Speaker 2: Then when you bought her.
- 58:26Speaker 6: Daughter a small designer daughter of a small designer bag,
- 58:29Speaker 6: the ex wife had it and she put it on Facebook.
- 58:33Speaker 2: So now I ain't buying no more damn bag.
- 58:35Speaker 6: And I agree, that's the last damn bag that went
- 58:39Speaker 6: over to that house. Sit up in there, posting like
- 58:43Speaker 6: you flexing now with the baby bag, and you got
- 58:46Speaker 6: to work in it like it's yours. No, no, so
- 58:49Speaker 6: it ain't a more bag. But she was so evil
- 58:54Speaker 6: until she met a nice man and seemed.
- 58:56Speaker 2: To be happy.
- 58:58Speaker 6: Oh i've seen this movie, lord, No, I've seen this movie.
- 59:04Speaker 6: For a minute, I thought I had wrote the letter God. Yes,
- 59:10Speaker 6: four minutes. But I ain't got.
- 59:13Speaker 2: No ex husband, so that kind of greve me out. Okay, okay,
- 59:18Speaker 2: I felt better after that.
- 59:20Speaker 6: And then met this nice man, seem to be happy.
- 59:23Speaker 6: Then he ghosted her. The children said that they Mama
- 59:27Speaker 6: accused a man of cheating, but he was at Bible
- 59:30Speaker 6: study and his pastor confirmed it. Now once the pastor confirmed, yeah,
- 59:36Speaker 6: he was at Bible story and you say he was cheating.
- 59:40Speaker 2: See, now you don't even want to believe the truth.
- 59:42Speaker 2: He should have lied. This is when Lyon come in here.
- 59:47Speaker 6: Wait what you heard me? He should have lied, I
- 59:50Speaker 6: really he should have lied. He gonna tell the truth.
- 59:53Speaker 6: Now she don't believe the truth. The pastor that confirmed
- 59:56Speaker 6: it this when Lyne come in.
- 59:58Speaker 2: Ahead o care.
- 1:00:02Speaker 6: Anyway, bitter Betty was back, and for some odd reason,
- 1:00:07Speaker 6: your husband felt a little compassion for her and set
- 1:00:11Speaker 6: me down.
- 1:00:11Speaker 2: On August twenty fifth, at four thirty two, Pete em.
- 1:00:15Speaker 6: To ask me if I'd be okay inviting her over
- 1:00:20Speaker 6: for labor dates so she wouldn't be alone when I
- 1:00:23Speaker 6: come back.
- 1:00:24Speaker 2: We're gonna deal with that, all right.
- 1:00:26Speaker 10: We'll have part two of Steve's response coming up at
- 1:00:29Speaker 10: twenty three minutes after the hour. Today's Strawberry letter. Subject
- 1:00:32Speaker 10: She's coming over where. We'll get back into it right
- 1:00:35Speaker 10: after this. You're listening Steve Hardy Morning Show. All right,
- 1:00:40Speaker 10: Come on, Steve, let's recap today's strawberry letter. The subject
- 1:00:43Speaker 10: is She's coming over where?
- 1:00:46Speaker 2: Love it.
- 1:00:47Speaker 6: This is yeah, lady having trouble with her husband's ex,
- 1:00:51Speaker 6: who's bitter alone, got the two girls jealous of the
- 1:00:57Speaker 6: way he has his new family and moved on. But
- 1:01:00Speaker 6: he's still taking care of his children. He had a
- 1:01:02Speaker 6: great relationship with his daughters. They always over there, seemed
- 1:01:05Speaker 6: like throughout this letter. But the problem is she's been in.
- 1:01:09Speaker 6: She's evil, She makes life rough, accusing him of treating
- 1:01:13Speaker 6: new family better than hers. They buy the new by
- 1:01:16Speaker 6: his daughters a designer purse. The mama got it on
- 1:01:20Speaker 6: Facebook posing with the person. So now thee this wife
- 1:01:24Speaker 6: and the letter say animal bags going over there and
- 1:01:26Speaker 6: I a Greek.
- 1:01:26Speaker 2: You know you can put your last post though the bag.
- 1:01:32Speaker 6: Yeah, you took the baby's bag just online with your
- 1:01:36Speaker 6: little coach purse like you bought one. I know that,
- 1:01:41Speaker 6: I know that you're just a coach person. This ain't no,
- 1:01:44Speaker 6: This ain't no Gucci bag or nothing. This coach coach.
- 1:01:49Speaker 6: You know, one of them just ain't proud of or
- 1:01:52Speaker 6: nothing like that. You might might go as per this
- 1:01:56Speaker 6: ain't louse at the time them three thousand ain't nobody
- 1:01:59Speaker 6: doing that.
- 1:01:59Speaker 2: Same feeling for the baby you got.
- 1:02:01Speaker 6: You got coach bad and you pose it with the
- 1:02:04Speaker 6: coach bad and you know U T J Max people.
- 1:02:11Speaker 6: Your bag come from stein Mark.
- 1:02:15Speaker 2: You know that you know your bag and you target.
- 1:02:20Speaker 2: You know your.
- 1:02:21Speaker 6: Bad can target and and and you know and be
- 1:02:24Speaker 6: proud of it. But don't get the coach and start flexing.
- 1:02:30Speaker 6: You already know.
- 1:02:35Speaker 2: We out let people. I've been that. I'm proud.
- 1:02:39Speaker 6: I'm you you at the sax Stoke not sad and
- 1:02:44Speaker 6: take the X. You have to x a X outlet.
- 1:02:48Speaker 6: There ain't nothing wrong with that. You got fake it
- 1:02:50Speaker 6: till you make me well.
- 1:02:53Speaker 2: She's bitter, she lost the man she had, and.
- 1:02:58Speaker 6: Now she's back to being bitter. And then he'll never
- 1:03:01Speaker 6: forget the day. It was August twenty fifth and four
- 1:03:05Speaker 6: thirty two. He asked me if i'd be okay with
- 1:03:08Speaker 6: inviting his ex wife over for labor day so she
- 1:03:12Speaker 6: wouldn't be alone.
- 1:03:13Speaker 2: I jumped up. My husband ran out the room. He worried.
- 1:03:16Speaker 2: He ran out.
- 1:03:18Speaker 6: He realized when the words came out his mouth that
- 1:03:21Speaker 6: he needed to get them back in. I said some stuff,
- 1:03:24Speaker 6: but I tried to it held.
- 1:03:26Speaker 2: The words back then, but once they get out, thank y'all.
- 1:03:29Speaker 2: I give a deep breath.
- 1:03:30Speaker 6: I tried to get them all back out the room
- 1:03:32Speaker 6: so I wouldn't nobody here. I try to do that
- 1:03:35Speaker 6: and it just don't work. So now and she tripped.
- 1:03:38Speaker 6: She said, I don't know what came over me? How
- 1:03:41Speaker 6: did he fix his mouth to ask me that? I
- 1:03:44Speaker 6: went to my parents' house and went to get their advice.
- 1:03:46Speaker 6: My mom agree with my husband and said that I'd
- 1:03:48Speaker 6: be the bigger person if I allowed the woman to
- 1:03:51Speaker 6: come home. My dad said, your husband is a big
- 1:03:53Speaker 6: wooss and needless to say, the ex wife was not
- 1:03:56Speaker 6: at my house for labor day, and my husband is
- 1:03:58Speaker 6: still pouting about it, he says, I'm not trying to
- 1:04:01Speaker 6: keep the peace? Was I the one being immature this time?
- 1:04:05Speaker 6: Here's the problem that I see because your daddy and
- 1:04:11Speaker 6: called it, your husband's scared of it. Yeah, so see, Look,
- 1:04:19Speaker 6: since he don't have the problem solving.
- 1:04:21Speaker 2: Skills, he won't to just comply.
- 1:04:26Speaker 6: But see, let me tell you something, man, it's some
- 1:04:28Speaker 6: people you can't do nothing for to make happy, and
- 1:04:32Speaker 6: you got to get out of to make a You
- 1:04:34Speaker 6: got to get out of to make a miserable person
- 1:04:36Speaker 6: happy being because you cannot make miserable people happy. Let
- 1:04:42Speaker 6: me tell you something, dug, Why are you trying to
- 1:04:43Speaker 6: bring her over to the house for labor day so
- 1:04:46Speaker 6: she don't be alone? What are you kidding me? This
- 1:04:50Speaker 6: labor day? So you're gonna invite this disruptive fourth over
- 1:04:54Speaker 6: to your house, your wife's house. Make her have to
- 1:04:58Speaker 6: deal with being uncomfortable so her ass can be comfortable. Dog,
- 1:05:03Speaker 6: you couldn't make her happy when y'all was married, right,
- 1:05:07Speaker 6: what makes you think you finna make her happy. Now
- 1:05:11Speaker 6: we're gonna invite her over to the house. She gonna
- 1:05:13Speaker 6: post your whole house on Facebook.
- 1:05:17Speaker 7: This how.
- 1:05:19Speaker 2: Yeah, you're gonna be up in her clothes and taking
- 1:05:21Speaker 2: picture of her bags and everything.
- 1:05:23Speaker 6: Yeah, I'm telling you, dog and no, lady, you are
- 1:05:26Speaker 6: not wrong for that, because you have every right to
- 1:05:30Speaker 6: have to live in a peaceful home.
- 1:05:32Speaker 2: Amerspect, I stop inviting people.
- 1:05:36Speaker 6: You can't come to my house if Marjorie's gonna come,
- 1:05:39Speaker 6: and Marjorie ain't letting you come over to the house
- 1:05:41Speaker 6: if I'm comfortable. Marjorie got a girlfriend that she's really
- 1:05:45Speaker 6: cool with, but I don't give a damn about the hug.
- 1:05:49Speaker 2: I really don't.
- 1:05:50Speaker 6: Okay, so having them over as a couple that ain't
- 1:05:54Speaker 6: working for me because I'm not sitting up ignorant. I'm
- 1:05:57Speaker 6: not sitting up entertaining his ignorant ass.
- 1:06:00Speaker 2: In my house. No, my house is for peace.
- 1:06:03Speaker 6: I come home to recharge and know you are not
- 1:06:06Speaker 6: immature for not doing that. And your mother is right.
- 1:06:08Speaker 6: You could have been the bigger person, but when she
- 1:06:10Speaker 6: gonna be big. See, you can't be a bigger person
- 1:06:14Speaker 6: to a person. Stay small all the day time. Every
- 1:06:17Speaker 6: move I make is bigger. The fact that I ain't
- 1:06:20Speaker 6: slapped you yet is making me bigger.
- 1:06:22Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:06:23Speaker 6: No, you cannot bring this woman into your wife's house
- 1:06:26Speaker 6: and make your wife onk comfort. Not That's day, but

- 1:07:56Speaker 6: One opening, they gonna come in with the wrong attitude.
- 1:07:59Speaker 6: D Troy shock the world tonight.
- 1:08:04Speaker 13: So ain't no more Chiefs winning super Bowl this year?
- 1:08:06Speaker 13: It's gonna be.
- 1:08:07Speaker 2: You're gonna ask me the rest of these games from
- 1:08:09Speaker 2: we run.
- 1:08:10Speaker 15: No.
- 1:08:10Speaker 2: I just told you no. I just told you no,
- 1:08:14Speaker 2: I ain't winning the Super Bowl.
- 1:08:15Speaker 15: So now what?
- 1:08:16Speaker 13: Okay, I'm just saying, because you know, Detroit, they looking better.
- 1:08:20Speaker 13: The Chiefs is the defending champs. So I just wanted
- 1:08:22Speaker 13: to make sure you know we're gonna see another team.
- 1:08:24Speaker 13: Do you have another pick for the Super Bowl this year?
- 1:08:26Speaker 2: I ain't gonna be Kansas City.
- 1:08:28Speaker 6: Now, Kansas City, egos, Philly is gonna win it this year? Okay, Okay, I.
- 1:08:36Speaker 2: Like it damn he heard me.
- 1:08:38Speaker 6: I'm picking Philly because it started with a pink pippot
- 1:08:41Speaker 6: ass Philly. Now I'm asking me. He acts like I
- 1:08:47Speaker 6: stuttered something. I ain't have to say it twice.
- 1:08:49Speaker 13: No, No, I ain't mad at you, Philly. That's your pick.
- 1:08:53Speaker 9: You know.
- 1:08:53Speaker 13: I think the Texans gonna win Super Bowl this year.
- 1:08:55Speaker 13: That's what I'm gonna win.
- 1:09:00Speaker 2: You don't you the only one thing? Now?
- 1:09:03Speaker 6: I got new you that the Texans don't feel that way.
- 1:09:08Speaker 6: That ain't nobody on the Texans. There ain't nobody on
- 1:09:11Speaker 6: the taxis Row super Bowl on they locker.
- 1:09:12Speaker 2: They know they going on. That's called the last game.
- 1:09:17Speaker 2: They already know where they going.
- 1:09:20Speaker 13: That's kind of horriful pipping. I thought I could pick
- 1:09:22Speaker 13: my team. That's what I want to go with. I
- 1:09:24Speaker 13: want to go cause I'm supporting the Texans. Okay, you picking,
- 1:09:27Speaker 13: I can't be right.
- 1:09:28Speaker 2: You know something, Junior?
- 1:09:30Speaker 7: Yeah, you know.
- 1:09:31Speaker 6: When I give my opinion, you know one thing. But
- 1:09:33Speaker 6: when you get your opinion, I don't give a dependent.
- 1:09:35Speaker 6: The segment is about pimping. You said I need pimping
- 1:09:38Speaker 6: in here. Now you stay in here telling me about
- 1:09:40Speaker 6: damn Texas. You know everybody else, No good. Hell, well,
- 1:09:43Speaker 6: do you know they ours is twenty thousand and one.
- 1:09:47Speaker 6: This the lower oars in the league is dim is
- 1:09:51Speaker 6: tied with the Airs on the cardinal. You ain't going
- 1:09:55Speaker 6: to no damn super Bowl. You ain't going to the playoffs.
- 1:10:00Speaker 1: And thank you Junior.
- 1:10:02Speaker 2: Win six sixth games.
- 1:10:04Speaker 1: Coming up at the top of the hour.
- 1:10:06Speaker 10: Well, check Steve's voicemail eight seven seven twenty nine, Steve,
- 1:10:09Speaker 10: right after this, you're listening hard morning showing. All right,
- 1:10:16Speaker 10: it is time now to check Steve's voicemail, And if
- 1:10:19Speaker 10: you'd like to leave a message for Steve, call him
- 1:10:21Speaker 10: eight seven seven twenty nine, Steve eight seven seven twenty nine, Steve,
- 1:10:25Speaker 10: you might just hear your call in the air, all right, Steve,
- 1:10:27Speaker 10: were you ready?
- 1:10:28Speaker 1: All right, Steve, this guy has a relationship work question.
- 1:10:32Speaker 16: Yeah, Steve, lovey, just Saylana, I just need to get
- 1:10:35Speaker 16: some invites from me. I was dealing with a woman.
- 1:10:38Speaker 16: She was my boss, but she shouldn't seem to keep
- 1:10:41Speaker 16: it real. Just a lot of lives, a lot of
- 1:10:43Speaker 16: different men, always popping up to make a long story show.
- 1:10:46Speaker 16: We broke up like ten days ago, and she's still
- 1:10:48Speaker 16: my boss, but she just like didn't get that work already.
- 1:10:53Speaker 16: She's already like calling me and texting people and not
- 1:10:56Speaker 16: adding me in text. So it's gonna be hard for
- 1:10:59Speaker 16: me to go with this situation. Like, I'm over the
- 1:11:02Speaker 16: situation as far as her, like, I don't want it
- 1:11:04Speaker 16: no more. I'm done, but I'm gonna continue to go
- 1:11:07Speaker 16: to work because my budles have to be paid. Can
- 1:11:09Speaker 16: you give me some advice on this situation, please?
- 1:11:11Speaker 6: Hark Yeah, man, you need a new job though. This
- 1:11:14Speaker 6: ain't gonna work out for you.
- 1:11:16Speaker 2: Wow.
- 1:11:16Speaker 6: Here's the advantage you have though, depending on what kind
- 1:11:20Speaker 6: of job this is. If this ain't no mom in
- 1:11:22Speaker 6: pop job or nothing like this, there's a department called
- 1:11:26Speaker 6: HR and what she can ill afford is for.
- 1:11:30Speaker 2: This to get out now.
- 1:11:32Speaker 6: I don't want you to go in there and threaten
- 1:11:34Speaker 6: a woman's job and nothing like this.
- 1:11:37Speaker 2: And you're not that type of dude, I can already tell.
- 1:11:40Speaker 6: But me personally, Jod just think you need a new job,
- 1:11:44Speaker 6: fresh start, you know, because this ain't gonna work out
- 1:11:47Speaker 6: for you. She already keeping you out the email loop
- 1:11:50Speaker 6: and all like that. And she got some power now
- 1:11:53Speaker 6: she's abused the power. So that's the play you have. Yeah,
- 1:11:57Speaker 6: I don't know very many men who you that. But
- 1:12:02Speaker 6: now what you're not gonna do is cause me to
- 1:12:04Speaker 6: lose my money over this situation because now I'm gonna
- 1:12:08Speaker 6: have to bring something.
- 1:12:09Speaker 2: To your attention.
- 1:12:10Speaker 6: Yeah, you know, we had a relationship, and I don't
- 1:12:13Speaker 6: think you want hr to know about this. So now
- 1:12:16Speaker 6: let's just treat me fairly and let bygones be back on.
- 1:12:20Speaker 10: So, Steve, what if he goes to the new job
- 1:12:22Speaker 10: and it's a female boss, then once.
- 1:12:25Speaker 6: Well, you got to stop sleeping with people here. You
- 1:12:30Speaker 6: got to quit sleeping people that's got your life in their.
- 1:12:32Speaker 2: Hands, right.
- 1:12:35Speaker 1: Lesson learn all.
- 1:12:36Speaker 6: Right, My daddy taught me a very valuable lesson. Don't
- 1:12:41Speaker 6: sugar honey ice.
- 1:12:42Speaker 2: Tea where you eat, Yeah, because you're gonna get something
- 1:12:46Speaker 2: around your mouth and you ain't gonna like the way
- 1:12:48Speaker 2: it tastes.
- 1:12:49Speaker 10: M Okay, all right, So moving on to the next one.
- 1:12:53Speaker 10: This past Tuesday, Steve, if you recalled during our ass
- 1:12:56Speaker 10: the Colo segment, Maria from Jacksonville wrote that her mom
- 1:13:00Speaker 10: cheated on her dad finally after years of treating her
- 1:13:04Speaker 10: like a child. So the daughter went to visit her
- 1:13:07Speaker 10: dad and the dad is mad because she's not mad
- 1:13:11Speaker 10: at her mom. So the daughter asked, is she supposed
- 1:13:14Speaker 10: to pick a side? Do you remember that one?
- 1:13:16Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 1:13:16Speaker 10: All right, So now here's a comment to your response, Steve,
- 1:13:19Speaker 10: take a listen.
- 1:13:20Speaker 7: Yeah. I listened to the Steve.
- 1:13:22Speaker 17: Harvey Moore on the show every day and the constradictions
- 1:13:26Speaker 17: are killing me.
- 1:13:27Speaker 7: A young lady called in.
- 1:13:28Speaker 17: And asked whether her father was right about her not
- 1:13:32Speaker 17: being mad because her mom cheated and Steve just went
- 1:13:36Speaker 17: and gave the craziest answer that I knew he was
- 1:13:39Speaker 17: gonna get because it was a woman. But if it
- 1:13:41Speaker 17: was a mom that had got cheated on by the dad,
- 1:13:45Speaker 17: he would have been so for the young lady being
- 1:13:47Speaker 17: mad at the dad.
- 1:13:48Speaker 7: And that's just crazy how his.
- 1:13:50Speaker 17: Answers are according to how they would make women chill.
- 1:13:54Speaker 17: But if that's how he got his claims to being
- 1:13:55Speaker 17: famous as he is right now, then that's how he's
- 1:13:58Speaker 17: gonna hold on to it.
- 1:14:00Speaker 2: Okay, I disagree with you.
- 1:14:02Speaker 6: I have the right to feel and say what I
- 1:14:04Speaker 6: want to say, but I do disagree you. The dad
- 1:14:08Speaker 6: is mad at the young woman for not taking his side.
- 1:14:11Speaker 6: What you're leaving out of the situation is the dad
- 1:14:14Speaker 6: has been cheating on the mama for all these years,
- 1:14:18Speaker 6: and now she cheated on the daddy. Every action gets
- 1:14:21Speaker 6: an equal and opposite reaction. So she didn't side with
- 1:14:26Speaker 6: her mama. She didn't side with her daddy when her
- 1:14:30Speaker 6: mama cheated, and he didn't side with her. They've had
- 1:14:32Speaker 6: a relationship. He mad now because she didn't want she
- 1:14:35Speaker 6: want the daughter to side with him. I disagree with you,
- 1:14:38Speaker 6: brun And then the other statement about that's how he
- 1:14:40Speaker 6: made his career exactly right, That's how I made my career.
- 1:14:43Speaker 2: And so what's wrong with that?
- 1:14:45Speaker 7: Right?
- 1:14:47Speaker 2: What is we stupid?
- 1:14:48Speaker 10: Thanks for your phone calls of the sea.
- 1:14:52Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show coming up to.
- 1:14:54Speaker 2: My audience, is what you want me to do?
- 1:14:56Speaker 1: After the hour? Right after this, you're listening.
- 1:15:00Speaker 11: Hardy Morning Show.
- 1:15:04Speaker 10: Dwayne the Rock Johnson and Oprah Winfrey are receiving backlash
- 1:15:08Speaker 10: online because they were asking fans to donate to Maui relief.
- 1:15:12Speaker 10: Both of them joined forces to launch the People's Fund
- 1:15:15Speaker 10: of Maui to help residents who were affected by the
- 1:15:18Speaker 10: recent wildfires, but the internet hit back, asking why they,
- 1:15:22Speaker 10: who are billionaires don't just cough up the money themselves
- 1:15:26Speaker 10: instead of taking it from regular people In the video announcement,
- 1:15:30Speaker 10: Oprah and The Rock do point out that they donated
- 1:15:33Speaker 10: a total of ten million dollars to start the fund.
- 1:15:36Speaker 10: One person wrote, the math ain't math in with this one.
- 1:15:39Speaker 10: You guys literally have so much money you can donate
- 1:15:42Speaker 10: it and make it back within a year.
- 1:15:45Speaker 6: That's an unfair statement that people make. See listen to
- 1:15:49Speaker 6: me if that's your take on wealthy people. Do you
- 1:15:53Speaker 6: know that wealthy people they don't have what you think
- 1:15:56Speaker 6: they have, and they don't have access to what you
- 1:15:59Speaker 6: think they have. Now, they are blessed in an abundant way,
- 1:16:02Speaker 6: of course they are. But if every disaster came along,
- 1:16:06Speaker 6: you put the onus on them to fix it. How
- 1:16:09Speaker 6: many disasters you think they could fix because you know
- 1:16:12Speaker 6: how many disasters go down every year.
- 1:16:14Speaker 2: Right, And they put up ten million. That's a lot
- 1:16:18Speaker 2: of money. Yeah, And it's unfair.
- 1:16:21Speaker 6: And when rich people ask for money, it's hard because
- 1:16:24Speaker 6: this is the backlass you get. Rich people do a
- 1:16:27Speaker 6: lot sometimes to help people, and you have no idea
- 1:16:31Speaker 6: what the Rock is doing, all Oprah is doing. But
- 1:16:34Speaker 6: I mean, I understand where y'all coming from, but they
- 1:16:38Speaker 6: got no obligation to MAUI.
- 1:16:40Speaker 10: Coming up at thirty three minutes after the hour, we'll
- 1:16:42Speaker 10: play another round. Would you rather right after this you're
- 1:16:46Speaker 10: listening Morning show? It is time now for a round
- 1:16:51Speaker 10: of would would you rather give up watching football for
- 1:16:55Speaker 10: the next two years or would you rather give up
- 1:16:58Speaker 10: texting for the next two years?
- 1:17:00Speaker 1: Which one?
- 1:17:02Speaker 2: I give up texting.
- 1:17:05Speaker 1: Game texts.
- 1:17:08Speaker 2: I'm going to watch the game.
- 1:17:09Speaker 10: Yeah. As much as they were crying over the summer,
- 1:17:13Speaker 10: I believe them right there?
- 1:17:17Speaker 6: Man, you mean I got to talk on the phone.
- 1:17:26Speaker 6: I can't do this without football, no test? Well what
- 1:17:30Speaker 6: can I do though?
- 1:17:31Speaker 1: If you don't watch?
- 1:17:35Speaker 2: You're talking about the phone.
- 1:17:37Speaker 1: I ain't little over and went to the pay phone.
- 1:17:40Speaker 2: Don't his phone?
- 1:17:42Speaker 9: We know.
- 1:17:45Speaker 6: I don't know why you called it. That don't make
- 1:17:49Speaker 6: no damn sense. Why are you calling me?
- 1:17:54Speaker 2: You damn right? I'm watching?
- 1:17:56Speaker 1: Yes, Junior? All right, we'll move on.
- 1:18:02Speaker 10: Would you rather jump out of a moving car going
- 1:18:04Speaker 10: about thirty five miles per hour?
- 1:18:06Speaker 1: Would you rather go bungee jumping? Which one?
- 1:18:08Speaker 2: I'm gone bungee jumping? Yeah?
- 1:18:10Speaker 7: Wow?
- 1:18:11Speaker 6: You jump your black ass out that car thirty miles
- 1:18:13Speaker 6: for hour. You ain't gonna believe how you look when
- 1:18:15Speaker 6: you get through. Lad you know last thirty years jump
- 1:18:19Speaker 6: me talking about when you get through rolling, you're gonna
- 1:18:24Speaker 6: need ID to get in your own house. I'm man,
- 1:18:28Speaker 6: you don't have.
- 1:18:29Speaker 2: Some about thirty miles an hour? You not fast?
- 1:18:34Speaker 1: What I know? You just like bungee jumping.
- 1:18:37Speaker 2: Hell like roll my leg we jumping. But brom, let
- 1:18:41Speaker 2: me tell you something.
- 1:18:42Speaker 6: I'm gonna put about six about eight pots twelve people
- 1:18:45Speaker 6: in front of me, uh huh, and now I'm watch
- 1:18:47Speaker 6: how they jump. Yeah, and then we're gonna get new cable.
- 1:18:51Speaker 6: We go real because I don't want who you used
- 1:18:53Speaker 6: to woe out one and then we're gonna get new cable.
- 1:18:56Speaker 2: And then I'm gonna jump on out of here.
- 1:18:58Speaker 6: But we can't jump out this car because I'm telling
- 1:19:01Speaker 6: you there's no fixing that.
- 1:19:03Speaker 2: Wow wow No, because see.
- 1:19:06Speaker 6: You're gonna get injured at least bungee jumping. You're just
- 1:19:09Speaker 6: gonna be scared and hope these things hold together and
- 1:19:12Speaker 6: you'll go.
- 1:19:14Speaker 2: If you jump out that car.
- 1:19:16Speaker 8: It's just thirty five miles though, shut up, you don't
- 1:19:19Speaker 8: know that's moving.
- 1:19:21Speaker 2: Okay, thirty five miles an hour? Sure, okay, let me
- 1:19:24Speaker 2: tell you.
- 1:19:25Speaker 6: Let me go outside on some concrete and start running
- 1:19:30Speaker 6: as fast as you can and then fall.
- 1:19:33Speaker 2: What the hell happened? And that ain't thirty five? Maybe three?
- 1:19:39Speaker 8: When I bung you jumped though, I'm gonna need a
- 1:19:41Speaker 8: diap on, all right.
- 1:19:43Speaker 2: I don't want no dip on like the man on
- 1:19:47Speaker 2: the Belt of Light. Yeah, but I bounced back up.
- 1:19:52Speaker 2: I'm gonna clear the whole bridge, y'all.
- 1:19:55Speaker 1: God day's round of would you rather? Thanks? Guys?
- 1:20:00Speaker 10: Coming up at forty nine minutes after the our It
- 1:20:03Speaker 10: is our last break of the day, and we'll close
- 1:20:05Speaker 10: out the show with the one and only Steve Harvey
- 1:20:08Speaker 10: right after this.
- 1:20:09Speaker 11: You're listening Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:20:13Speaker 10: All right, guys, here we are our last break of
- 1:20:15Speaker 10: the day on this Thursday. Wow, right, this week is
- 1:20:21Speaker 10: gone by fast. Yes, this week is gone by really fast.
- 1:20:25Speaker 1: It has all right, Steve.
- 1:20:29Speaker 10: Before we get out of here, there's one more phone
- 1:20:32Speaker 10: call we have to listen to. This is from a
- 1:20:34Speaker 10: guy who left a message about successful haters.
- 1:20:38Speaker 8: Check.
- 1:20:38Speaker 15: Hey, it's good Steve.
- 1:20:39Speaker 17: It's James for Wayne, and I think that sometimes people
- 1:20:43Speaker 17: are more.
- 1:20:44Speaker 15: Successful than you do hate on you because they view
- 1:20:46Speaker 15: you as a threat. So there are people that are
- 1:20:48Speaker 15: more successful than.
- 1:20:49Speaker 9: You that will hate on you because they think.
- 1:20:51Speaker 16: That you come up for the spot where they think
- 1:20:53Speaker 16: you can take the spot.
- 1:20:54Speaker 6: Thank you, Yeah, I mean I agree with you on that.
- 1:20:58Speaker 6: That's very true. That can have. From my standpoint, I
- 1:21:06Speaker 6: haven't had a hater that's doing better than me.
- 1:21:09Speaker 2: I do understand where he's coming.
- 1:21:12Speaker 6: From, because that can happen if they think you're coming from.
- 1:21:18Speaker 6: I've never been in competition with another person before. My
- 1:21:22Speaker 6: competition has always been with myself. How do I become
- 1:21:26Speaker 6: a better me? How do I better my position for
- 1:21:30Speaker 6: my family, for my wife, for my children, for those
- 1:21:34Speaker 6: lives I touch. That's always been my mission. I understand
- 1:21:39Speaker 6: what you're saying. You know, if people think you coming
- 1:21:42Speaker 6: from you know, look, if you run in the race
- 1:21:48Speaker 6: and your race is gett somebody else, they not gonna
- 1:21:51Speaker 6: sit there and let you just overtake them. I had
- 1:21:55Speaker 6: to do one time talking about saying I'm gonna catch you,
- 1:21:57Speaker 6: Steve Harvey. You know my response to him, hard to
- 1:22:00Speaker 6: catch somebody that's still running. I mean, you can go
- 1:22:05Speaker 6: after me and make me a target if you want to,
- 1:22:07Speaker 6: and you can try to catch me, but it's hard
- 1:22:09Speaker 6: to catch a person that's still running. And so I
- 1:22:13Speaker 6: do agree with what he's saying that that can really happen.
- 1:22:19Speaker 6: But when I talk about haters, I'm talking about the
- 1:22:24Speaker 6: bottom feeders because it's so many more bottom feeders than
- 1:22:29Speaker 6: it is top feeders.
- 1:22:31Speaker 2: He's absolutely correct, it can happen, But.
- 1:22:34Speaker 6: The bulk of your hate, and if you look at this,
- 1:22:37Speaker 6: will come from bottom feeders, people who have nothing they
- 1:22:42Speaker 6: can gain from it. They don't have the power to
- 1:22:47Speaker 6: stop anything. They don't make decisions, nor are they shakers
- 1:22:52Speaker 6: and movers, but they have the audacity because the Internet
- 1:22:56Speaker 6: has become a place where they think they have a voice.
- 1:23:00Speaker 6: You would be stunned at how many people got a
- 1:23:02Speaker 6: thousand followers in the guy I got a thousand followers?
- 1:23:06Speaker 2: Man, do you know how insignificant that is?
- 1:23:09Speaker 7: Man?
- 1:23:10Speaker 6: I got ten thousand likes? Do you know how insignificant
- 1:23:14Speaker 6: that is. Let's just say, let me give you Let's
- 1:23:18Speaker 6: say you got let's say you did something. You got
- 1:23:21Speaker 6: two hundred and fifty thousand likes. That would send that
- 1:23:27Speaker 6: average person into the stratosphere if they got something with
- 1:23:31Speaker 6: two hundred and fifty thousand likes. But let me tell
- 1:23:35Speaker 6: you something. First of all, do you know that it's
- 1:23:38Speaker 6: a little more than eight billion people in this world.
- 1:23:43Speaker 6: Eight billion people.
- 1:23:46Speaker 2: In this world?
- 1:23:47Speaker 6: What is one percent of eight billion? What is one
- 1:23:52Speaker 6: percent of eight billions? Somebody do that for.
- 1:23:57Speaker 2: Me right quick.
- 1:24:00Speaker 6: They looked that up for me. Do you know how
- 1:24:01Speaker 6: small that is? Do you know that's one percent? If
- 1:24:07Speaker 6: you got two hundred and fifty thousand, you ain't even
- 1:24:11Speaker 6: one percent.
- 1:24:12Speaker 2: Of the people in the world like the statement you made.
- 1:24:16Speaker 6: And then you have to consider who are the people
- 1:24:19Speaker 6: that's liking what you said that was so hateful?
- 1:24:22Speaker 2: You know who that is? Other bottom feeders.
- 1:24:27Speaker 6: Barack Obama didn't like your message.
- 1:24:32Speaker 2: No nobody.
- 1:24:33Speaker 6: Tiger Woods didn't like your message. Beyonce, I ain't got
- 1:24:38Speaker 6: off stage that liked your message. Michelle Obama didn't like
- 1:24:43Speaker 6: your message. Your boss, your supervisor at your job, he didn't.
- 1:24:49Speaker 2: Like your message.
- 1:24:52Speaker 6: It's such a small number, man, And so listen to me, haters.
- 1:25:00Speaker 2: First of all, man, can I say something.
- 1:25:02Speaker 6: I really do this This season right now has really
- 1:25:06Speaker 6: been a good season for me, and I've learned to
- 1:25:09Speaker 6: thank God and the good and the bad. This was
- 1:25:11Speaker 6: a great lesson for me because Marjorie and I were
- 1:25:15Speaker 6: praying to get closer to God and closer to each
- 1:25:18Speaker 6: other and become more trusting in God, and and and
- 1:25:21Speaker 6: and and and and to be closer to one another.
- 1:25:25Speaker 2: And do you know what he did? He did just that.
- 1:25:31Speaker 6: He allowed us to experience something that with just all
- 1:25:35Speaker 6: this stuff that's going on out here, all these lies
- 1:25:37Speaker 6: and stuff, he allowed us to experience it. And you
- 1:25:39Speaker 6: know what it did. It put us closer together. We're
- 1:25:44Speaker 6: sitting at the householding each other. We are now closer
- 1:25:48Speaker 6: than we've ever been. You know the other thing it did,
- 1:25:52Speaker 6: it made us trust in God Almighty wholeheartedly because there's
- 1:25:58Speaker 6: nothing we can do. He taught us not to respond.
- 1:26:03Speaker 6: He taught us not to go after nobody.
- 1:26:06Speaker 2: Do you know.
- 1:26:07Speaker 6: I had an attorney called me and offered, hey, man,
- 1:26:09Speaker 6: would you like me to send out some cease and desist?
- 1:26:12Speaker 2: Would you you know how many ceasing desists I'd have
- 1:26:14Speaker 2: to put out? Now, I'll spend all my time.
- 1:26:17Speaker 6: And you know what that would be just what the
- 1:26:19Speaker 6: devil wanted to me, to be a distraction. But either way,
- 1:26:23Speaker 6: if you got a relationship with God, you covered either way.
- 1:26:27Speaker 6: One more time Isaiah fifty four seventeen. No weapon formed
- 1:26:31Speaker 6: against me, so prosper and it has not worked because
- 1:26:35Speaker 6: we still shine it, and so will you.
- 1:26:38Speaker 2: If you form a relationship with God.
- 1:26:40Speaker 6: Talk to God today, he would absolutely love to hear
- 1:26:44Speaker 6: from me.
