- 2:30Speaker 1: Did you know that there's a life for you better
- 2:33Speaker 1: than the one you've ever felt before? And did you
- 2:37Speaker 1: know that there was a life for you much bigger
- 2:42Speaker 1: than the one you wanted? And lastly, did you know
- 2:48Speaker 1: that what I just said it's true? Did you know
- 2:52Speaker 1: that did you know that the things I just said
- 2:57Speaker 1: are available to you? It's not just intended for those
- 3:04Speaker 1: who receive awards. It's for everybody. Yeah, you two. It's
- 3:14Speaker 1: for you who didn't get your high school diploma. It's
- 3:20Speaker 1: for you who are incarcerated. It's for you who have
- 3:27Speaker 1: two strikes. It's for you who've been sentenced to life.
- 3:36Speaker 1: It's for you who've gotten out and have a felony
- 3:39Speaker 1: record and can't seem to get it together. It's for
- 3:41Speaker 1: you who have an illness. It's for you who the
- 3:48Speaker 1: doctors have given up on. It's for you, this life
- 3:54Speaker 1: I'm talking about, it's for you. Did you know that
- 4:01Speaker 1: there's a life for you better than the one you
- 4:04Speaker 1: dreamed about, better than the one you've imagined, a life
- 4:09Speaker 1: better than the one you thought of, That there's a
- 4:12Speaker 1: life for you better than the one you've ever felt before.
- 4:16Speaker 1: There's a life for you better than the one you
- 4:18Speaker 1: saw for yourself. There's a better life for you than
- 4:21Speaker 1: the one you expected and even the one you wanted.
- 4:26Speaker 1: Did you know that this is true for you? See,
- 4:31Speaker 1: here's let me give you the secret to this thing.
- 4:34Speaker 1: Now you have to believe that it is for you. Now,
- 4:41Speaker 1: you got to fight through the doubts. You got to
- 4:43Speaker 1: fight through the wheel of satan, because the devil is
- 4:46Speaker 1: busy man. The devil wants you to think that is hopeless.
- 4:50Speaker 1: The devil wants you to think that this is it.
- 4:52Speaker 1: The devil wants you to think that ain't no more
- 4:54Speaker 1: to it. The devil wants you to think that this
- 4:57Speaker 1: applies to other people. But you, Yeah, you've been dealt
- 5:00Speaker 1: the worst hand of them all, which you ain't. But
- 5:02Speaker 1: that's what the devil wants you to think. So you
- 5:04Speaker 1: gotta fight through. Now. You gotta fight through to get
- 5:08Speaker 1: to what I just said is available for you. But
- 5:10Speaker 1: what else you got to do? You ain't doing nothing else,
- 5:13Speaker 1: might as well fight. Why just wake up and just
- 5:16Speaker 1: let it be? Why would you wake up every day
- 5:19Speaker 1: and just exist when there's a chance for you to
- 5:21Speaker 1: actually live? See the reason I don't mind smiling so
- 5:25Speaker 1: much now is because I'm no longer existing. I'm living now. See. See,
- 5:31Speaker 1: that's what you want to get to. You don't want
- 5:33Speaker 1: to exist to wake up, paycheck to paycheck, date today,
- 5:38Speaker 1: not knowing, not understanding, not having, can't can't get this,
- 5:42Speaker 1: can't get that, can't go here, can't go there, Gotta wait,
- 5:45Speaker 1: gotta wait, gota wait, gota wait till it seems like
- 5:48Speaker 1: you never get nowhere you can get out of that
- 5:51Speaker 1: rut of life, feeling like when you wake up in
- 5:53Speaker 1: the morning that your life is whole hum that you're
- 5:56Speaker 1: just in a rut. I drive the same way to work.
- 5:59Speaker 1: I do the same thing on my job. When I
- 6:01Speaker 1: get off, I drive all the way back home. I
- 6:04Speaker 1: sit there, I read the newspaper, I water the lawn.
- 6:07Speaker 1: I'm so sick of my life. It ain't this, ain't
- 6:10Speaker 1: what I wanted. Man, and start wake up and start over,
- 6:13Speaker 1: do the same thing. Then the weekend gets in. You
- 6:16Speaker 1: got to mow the lawn, and then you try to
- 6:18Speaker 1: fix something in the garage, and you feel like your
- 6:21Speaker 1: life is in the rut. I'm talking about. If this
- 6:23Speaker 1: feels like a rut to you know, if it's what
- 6:24Speaker 1: you've always wanted, I'm cool with that. But I'm talking
- 6:27Speaker 1: to people who want it more, who would love their
- 6:31Speaker 1: life to be more, who would love their life to different,
- 6:34Speaker 1: to be different. I'm not criticizing you if I just
- 6:36Speaker 1: described your life. I'm just only talking to the ones
- 6:41Speaker 1: who would dare to believe that there's more to it
- 6:44Speaker 1: than this. I'm only talking to the ones who would
- 6:47Speaker 1: dad dad to accept the challenge to fight through and
- 6:52Speaker 1: see what God got for you instead of listening to
- 6:55Speaker 1: Satan all the time. Devil is busy, man, Please understand,
- 6:58Speaker 1: he's so busy, so busy, trying to trick you, get
- 7:01Speaker 1: you into the groove. You know they're doing all kinds
- 7:04Speaker 1: of stuff now, man, you know atheists and already got prayer.
- 7:08Speaker 1: Taking out of schools. Excuse me, look at our skills schools,
- 7:11Speaker 1: not as a push by the atheist to get the
- 7:14Speaker 1: words in God we trust, taking off our money. Here's
- 7:16Speaker 1: a deal. If you don't believe in God and you
- 7:18Speaker 1: don't want trust in God, just going about your business.
- 7:20Speaker 1: But what you can't do is spill off all into
- 7:22Speaker 1: what I'm talking about. That's the problem I have with
- 7:25Speaker 1: all of them. If you're gonna do you, didn't do you,
- 7:28Speaker 1: but don't spill off into what I got. Now. See,
- 7:30Speaker 1: if you don't believe what I'm saying, then I ain't
- 7:33Speaker 1: talking to you. Let's just be clear about the relationship
- 7:35Speaker 1: with Steve Harvey and his crew. I'm only talking to
- 7:39Speaker 1: the people that believe that are looking for something else,
- 7:42Speaker 1: that wants something more, that wants something better, that's gotta
- 7:47Speaker 1: be out there searching and hoping and trying to do more.
- 7:50Speaker 1: That's all I'm talking to now. If you don't believe
- 7:53Speaker 1: what I'm saying it's true, didn't go ahead and try
- 7:55Speaker 1: it your way, go see write me, email me, let
- 7:58Speaker 1: me know how it's going for you. But I'm telling
- 8:00Speaker 1: you of a way that's tried and true. If you
- 8:03Speaker 1: go to God, if you go to your creator, your makeup,
- 8:07Speaker 1: if you go to him and you go to him
- 8:10Speaker 1: for real and tell him, hey, you know what, I
- 8:14Speaker 1: want you to go ahead and take over from here.
- 8:16Speaker 1: I'm done. I didn't done all I know how to
- 8:19Speaker 1: do out and tried everything I know how to try.
- 8:22Speaker 1: I'm sick of me right now. Hey, look here, you
- 8:25Speaker 1: created me what you want me to do, and here
- 8:27Speaker 1: a cool thing about it. When I made that decision,
- 8:29Speaker 1: y'all see, I was so afraid for years that I
- 8:32Speaker 1: was gonna miss out on something if I did that,
- 8:34Speaker 1: I couldn't do this no more. But the stuff I
- 8:36Speaker 1: needed to stop doing. I really need to stop the
- 8:39Speaker 1: things I was afraid of not being able to do
- 8:41Speaker 1: anymore with the very same things I really didn't need
- 8:43Speaker 1: to be doing no more in the first place, on
- 8:46Speaker 1: the real man, on the real all that temporary fun.
- 8:51Speaker 1: I was having all them temporary outlets. I was using
- 8:54Speaker 1: all them temporary things trying to fulfill myself I was doing.
- 8:58Speaker 1: I was just doing a bunch of temporary mess. Man.
- 9:01Speaker 1: I said, hold up, man, I want something permanent. Man,
- 9:04Speaker 1: I want a permanent feeling in my heart that it's
- 9:06Speaker 1: gonna be all right. So he replaced all that fun
- 9:09Speaker 1: with joy. But it's only because I went and I
- 9:12Speaker 1: faced him. He didn't take me and stop me from
- 9:15Speaker 1: being me. He just made a better version of me. See,
- 9:20Speaker 1: God don't take because all the stuff he sent you through,
- 9:24Speaker 1: he needed you to go through all him. He needed
- 9:25Speaker 1: you to have him experience or what it felt like
- 9:27Speaker 1: to be locked up. He needed you to have experience
- 9:30Speaker 1: and know what it was to lose everything. He needed
- 9:32Speaker 1: you to have experience to make you tough. You're just
- 9:36Speaker 1: gonna be a tough one. I'm a tough soldier in
- 9:39Speaker 1: his army. That's all. I just say. One of the
- 9:41Speaker 1: weak ones. I protect the weak ones. God didn't take
- 9:47Speaker 1: a lot of stuff from it, except the stuff I needed.
- 9:50Speaker 1: But the stuff he made me to be, He allowed
- 9:52Speaker 1: me to keep it, and he just made a better me.
- 9:55Speaker 1: Do that, y'all, and you can have what you want.
- 9:57Speaker 1: You're listening show ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, circus performers, athletes,
- 10:08Speaker 1: talk show host social media influencers, inmates, faith based people, pastors,
- 10:17Speaker 1: choir members, strippers. Yeah yeah, and I remember former drug dealers.
- 10:27Speaker 1: May I have your undivided attention. This is for Steve
- 10:33Speaker 1: Harvey Morny show call. That was alter call. That was
- 10:39Speaker 1: just a call, that's all. That was. Charlie Strawberry. Hey,
- 10:47Speaker 1: good morning Steve. I love it. I love it. Colin Farrell,
- 10:51Speaker 1: good morning Steve. What's up? Crew? Uh? The most promising
- 10:56Speaker 1: young up and coming comedian that I know, Junior morning, Uncle,
- 11:01Speaker 1: my mentor Man, how you feeling, lady, Jim Mkingall pranks,
- 11:05Speaker 1: Nephew Times your side, Top of the morning, Baby thirsty,
- 11:09Speaker 1: it is theirs. Yeah, I don't know. I just did
- 11:17Speaker 1: it was with no. I wasn't nothing with it, ain't
- 11:22Speaker 1: no that, ain't open it to no song. You know,
- 11:27Speaker 1: just sang it to my damn self for good. I
- 11:29Speaker 1: was on the video. Really really, it just happened. I
- 11:37Speaker 1: just started singing and food. You're on the radio, Steve,
- 11:42Speaker 1: You're nothing. You're having fun at your John. Yeah, that's cool.
- 11:46Speaker 1: You know. I was gonna ask you remember the other day,
- 11:48Speaker 1: a couple of days ago, we got really deep one
- 11:50Speaker 1: morning when we opened the show and talked about our
- 11:52Speaker 1: regrets and stuff. Yeh, do it again? Well, no, come on,
- 11:58Speaker 1: we're not doing that again. You can't handle We're not
- 12:01Speaker 1: doing that again, Steve. I just wanted to. I just
- 12:03Speaker 1: thought about something that I didn't regret in my life,
- 12:06Speaker 1: you know, because you have you do have regrets. But
- 12:09Speaker 1: one thing I do not regret, and that's well, should
- 12:13Speaker 1: I say it ahead? I was just thinking it to
- 12:14Speaker 1: myself anyway. One thing I don't regret is cutting off
- 12:17Speaker 1: my six finger, because you know I had an extra
- 12:20Speaker 1: finger on each hand. I got him cut off. It
- 12:24Speaker 1: was I just kissing because that extra fing on the back.
- 12:28Speaker 1: I don't hear. I don't regret. I don't regret doing that.
- 12:32Speaker 1: I just wanted to because I tell you right now,
- 12:34Speaker 1: if you shake my hand, I'm gonna snatch back. And
- 12:36Speaker 1: that's what was happening when I was little. Nobody wanted
- 12:39Speaker 1: to my hand. If I shake your hand now, I'm
- 12:46Speaker 1: gonna try to feel around because I probably a nub
- 12:49Speaker 1: over there. It is. It's like where you used to
- 12:51Speaker 1: start that I don't. It's got to be at least
- 12:53Speaker 1: a little shiny spot. Just yeah, that's my, that's my.
- 13:00Speaker 1: Did they charge your extra when you got your name
- 13:04Speaker 1: nail Nail? It was just about that. I'm just most
- 13:08Speaker 1: people only got photoes because the baby toe don't count.
- 13:12Speaker 1: It's just tucked off in there. Yeah. But if you
- 13:14Speaker 1: lose it, you will fall. Okay, yeah, right now, Yeah,
- 13:24Speaker 1: I forgot Carlin Brooker. All right, Coming up at thirty two,
- 13:28Speaker 1: I got a Pardner that ain't got a big toe
- 13:30Speaker 1: and he wears Sam. He gotta stay leading fall all right,
- 13:38Speaker 1: we gotta go. Coming up at thirty two, after the hour,
- 13:41Speaker 1: we'll talk about trending sports headlines. Right after this, you're
- 13:44Speaker 1: listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show. Antonio Brown was at
- 13:48Speaker 1: practice yesterday with the New England Patriots. Take a listen
- 13:52Speaker 1: to Patriots head coach Bill Belichick's press conference to the situation.
- 13:56Speaker 1: We're taking it very seriously all the way through the organization.
- 14:00Speaker 1: Sure they're questions, but I'm not going to be entering
- 14:02Speaker 1: a discussion about that's all right. Can you go? Were
- 14:06Speaker 1: you aware of the lawsuit when you signed Antonio Brown,
- 14:10Speaker 1: I'm not gonna be expanding on the statements that have
- 14:12Speaker 1: already been given. Let's think the fans deserved them to
- 14:14Speaker 1: hear a little more from you. One you know, could
- 14:18Speaker 1: have named the TV. Yeah. I just said that's all
- 14:22Speaker 1: what Antonio Brown has said to you. Yeah, I mean
- 14:26Speaker 1: I'm done with that. Okay, anything else in Miami way
- 14:31Speaker 1: other questions? Can you explain me to me? And you're
- 14:34Speaker 1: done with it. I mean you're just trying to find
- 14:35Speaker 1: out if he's said anything TV about it. It's positioned
- 14:38Speaker 1: about the alligations. Yeah, I just answered that question. Well,
- 14:42Speaker 1: actually you did. Actually, what the hell I just told y'all. No, hey, dog,
- 14:50Speaker 1: that's a Bill belly Check interview. I ain't nobody surprised.
- 14:54Speaker 1: I was. He answers all your questions, whether you like
- 14:59Speaker 1: to answer or not. This is, in the words of
- 15:02Speaker 1: James Brown talking loud and saying any sound like that
- 15:09Speaker 1: when they win. It doesn't exactly like that sound Jeff
- 15:14Speaker 1: like he lost excited. When he's excited, he sounds like
- 15:18Speaker 1: that when the super Bowl super Bowl, he sounded like that.
- 15:22Speaker 1: Belichick what he wanted, you know, I just want to
- 15:26Speaker 1: tell you that this kind of what we were looking
- 15:29Speaker 1: for now, Junior Julia asked me a series of all
- 15:36Speaker 1: sports questions I'm gonna ask, I'm gonna answer them as
- 15:38Speaker 1: Bill Belichick. Uh, did you all know you're gonna win
- 15:42Speaker 1: the Super Bowl? To day? Did you have a feeling
- 15:43Speaker 1: you we're gonna win? Uh? Not when I first woke up?
- 15:48Speaker 1: What was what was the week of practice like for
- 15:52Speaker 1: you all as you prepared to play this game today?
- 15:55Speaker 1: It was hard? That's it? That's it like that? I mean,
- 16:00Speaker 1: did you did you have any idea what the score
- 16:03Speaker 1: might have been when you came out to day? Do
- 16:04Speaker 1: you haven't eyes? Yeah? No, no one knew the score
- 16:07Speaker 1: of the outcome? Ah? Do you are you worried about
- 16:10Speaker 1: Tom Brady retiring or you are you concerned about that
- 16:13Speaker 1: when he retires? It happened. I'll be the first to
- 16:16Speaker 1: let you wake me up when this over as like
- 16:25Speaker 1: that never changes that you've won twenty five games in
- 16:30Speaker 1: a row. Is this something to celebrate? I mean, are
- 16:32Speaker 1: you happy about that? Well, asked me when we won
- 16:36Speaker 1: number twenty six. You can't get nothing out of him? No,
- 16:45Speaker 1: it's it. Most people can't get nothing out of me
- 16:48Speaker 1: because I ain't got nothing in here. Wow, Okay, yeah,
- 16:56Speaker 1: Bill Belichick, Ladies and gentleman Bill Shack. Yeah, well, hey, Matt,
- 17:00Speaker 1: now go ahead, are you gonna are you gonna say
- 17:03Speaker 1: something about Antonio Brown? Oh? Yeah, I was, But it's okay. Well,
- 17:07Speaker 1: but you know what, this whole thing, here's here's what
- 17:11Speaker 1: we honestly have to do. A man is in this
- 17:16Speaker 1: country innocent and to proven guilty. That's the legal system.
- 17:22Speaker 1: That's the way it is, and that's the process that
- 17:25Speaker 1: we're gonna have to give this guy. Now, God forbid
- 17:28Speaker 1: this turns out to be a true statement, then that
- 17:33Speaker 1: that will be held to pay. And then it's it's
- 17:36Speaker 1: tragic if it's a true statement, it's tragic. If it's
- 17:39Speaker 1: not a true statement. You know, it's just sadness on
- 17:43Speaker 1: both parts. You know, this is a horrible accusation and
- 17:48Speaker 1: it has to be taken seriously. And you have to
- 17:51Speaker 1: listen to what this woman says. Yeah, she's sang Steve
- 17:56Speaker 1: as a rape victim of Antonio Brown. Deciding to speak
- 17:59Speaker 1: out has been an incredibly difficult decision because a lot
- 18:02Speaker 1: of people asked why now. Her name is Brittany Taylor.
- 18:05Speaker 1: She says she's found strength in her faith, family and
- 18:08Speaker 1: from the accounts of other survivors. Of sexual assault. Speaking
- 18:11Speaker 1: out removes the shame that I have felt for the
- 18:14Speaker 1: past year and place it places it on the person
- 18:17Speaker 1: responsible for my rape. She also said in the statement
- 18:20Speaker 1: she will cooperate with the NFL and other agencies. And
- 18:24Speaker 1: here's part of the New England Patriot's official statement. They say,
- 18:27Speaker 1: we take these allegations very seriously. Under no circumstances this
- 18:32Speaker 1: organization condones sexual violence or assault. The league has informed
- 18:36Speaker 1: us that they will be investigating. We will have no
- 18:39Speaker 1: further comment while that investigation takes place. Now. I don't
- 18:42Speaker 1: know where this came from, but I was watching SportsCenter
- 18:47Speaker 1: yesterday and one of the things that came up across
- 18:51Speaker 1: the screen was she wants to participate. She was willing
- 18:55Speaker 1: to meet with the NFL next week to answer all
- 18:59Speaker 1: questions because she wants to get this behind her, because
- 19:03Speaker 1: she's engaged and she's supposed to be getting married and
- 19:08Speaker 1: so and they've explicitly made it clear that this is
- 19:12Speaker 1: not a legal issue, that this is a civil issue,
- 19:16Speaker 1: and that they just wore compensation for what has happened
- 19:20Speaker 1: to her, and that's that's what's come out of this also,
- 19:24Speaker 1: so you know it's gonna be a process man to
- 19:29Speaker 1: find out how this all shakes out. It really is
- 19:33Speaker 1: when they say that this is just civil but when
- 19:36Speaker 1: it's a criminal act, don't don't the state pick that
- 19:39Speaker 1: up anyway? Well, the prosecutor can pick it up, but
- 19:43Speaker 1: so far no charges have been filed because there's no
- 19:46Speaker 1: police report. Now the prosecutor can take a look at
- 19:50Speaker 1: this and try to bring charges if you want to.
- 19:53Speaker 1: But if you don't have you know, a corroborating witness
- 19:57Speaker 1: or somebody willing to come hold with the charges, then
- 20:02Speaker 1: you know, our prosecutor don't want to try case. He
- 20:05Speaker 1: ain't gonna win. It's still politics. Well, well again, we'll
- 20:09Speaker 1: be following this story. Um all right, coming up next
- 20:14Speaker 1: nephew in the building with the prank phone call, run
- 20:17Speaker 1: that prank back right after this you're listening. Coming up
- 20:23Speaker 1: at the top of the hour and Entertainment news, Kylie
- 20:26Speaker 1: Jenner and her baby daddy Travis Scott bearing it all
- 20:29Speaker 1: for Playboy and Boy. She is a Kardashian. No doubt
- 20:33Speaker 1: we ought to do I'm scared to say. What what
- 20:36Speaker 1: Yah's that the Morning Show ought to do a naked
- 20:39Speaker 1: ass photo? What? Carla? Well? How much we talking though?
- 20:49Speaker 1: Hold on, hold on. This leads to this question. Okay,
- 20:55Speaker 1: this question is for Carla. For one million dollars us,
- 21:00Speaker 1: would you pose naked for Playboy? Not completely? Yes, you
- 21:06Speaker 1: are sorry. I'm a million. I show my button, not
- 21:09Speaker 1: my whole body. Man, he's got to be a little
- 21:11Speaker 1: bit higher. Ten million for ten million, call ten million
- 21:16Speaker 1: naked as a Jay Jay. I'm puts therapy. You gotta
- 21:24Speaker 1: finish this when we come back. We got million player naked.

- 32:27Speaker 1: and gentlemen, miss Anne true, how do I follow that?
- 32:32Speaker 1: Good morning, everybody, This is a trip with the news.
- 32:34Speaker 1: Yesterday was the eighteenth year since the Twin Towers fell.
- 32:37Speaker 1: As usual, family members, police officers, firefighters, first responders gathered
- 32:41Speaker 1: around the country, the Pentagon and Shanksville and course in
- 32:44Speaker 1: New York at ground zero, reading the names of the victims,
- 32:47Speaker 1: interspersed with moments of silence and the tolling of the
- 32:49Speaker 1: bells rung at the time that the towers were hit.
- 32:52Speaker 1: When they crashed to the ground. President Trump was Consoler
- 32:55Speaker 1: in chief. Today, our nation honors and mourns the nearly
- 32:58Speaker 1: three thousand lives that were stolen from us on September eleventh,
- 33:04Speaker 1: two thousand and one. For every American to live through
- 33:08Speaker 1: that day, the September eleventh attack is seared into our soul.
- 33:15Speaker 1: It was a day filled with shock, horror, sorrow, and
- 33:18Speaker 1: righteous fury. And then came a more serious threat. For
- 33:22Speaker 1: any reason they come back to our country, we will
- 33:26Speaker 1: go wherever they are and use power the likes of
- 33:30Speaker 1: which the United States has never used before. And I'm
- 33:33Speaker 1: not even talking about nuclear power. Okay, That's how yesterday went.
- 33:37Speaker 1: Perdue Pharma, the company that manufactures Oxyconton, reached attentive deal
- 33:42Speaker 1: yesterday designed to settle thousands of lawsuits stemming from the
- 33:44Speaker 1: country's opioid epidemic. If the plan goes forward, the family
- 33:49Speaker 1: that owns that drug firm, the Sacklers, are going to
- 33:51Speaker 1: give a control of the company as part of a
- 33:52Speaker 1: structured deal it's a bankruptcy deal, while paying out billions
- 33:55Speaker 1: of dollars for lawsuits. The mostly Republican appointed Supreme Court
- 33:59Speaker 1: has decided to override a California Judge's injunction against President
- 34:03Speaker 1: Trump's three country anti asylum idea. The High Court is
- 34:06Speaker 1: now allowing nationwide enforcement of a new rule that prevents
- 34:10Speaker 1: migrants who passed through a neighboring country without asking for
- 34:13Speaker 1: protection there from then coming to the US and claiming
- 34:16Speaker 1: that they need asylum. Democrats in North Carolina State legislature
- 34:19Speaker 1: crying foul over what their Republican colleagues did yesterday. Apparently,
- 34:22Speaker 1: since the beginning of July, the toy Hill State has
- 34:24Speaker 1: been operating without a new budget. The Democratic governor down
- 34:27Speaker 1: they Roy Cooper, vetoed the one he was sent because
- 34:30Speaker 1: it did not allow for the expansion to medicate. The
- 34:32Speaker 1: Republicans didn't have enough votes to override. So what happened
- 34:35Speaker 1: yesterday with Democrats under the impression it was going to
- 34:38Speaker 1: be a no vote session, and with most of them
- 34:41Speaker 1: not in the chamber, the Republicans held an override vote,
- 34:44Speaker 1: a secret vote, no Democrats to challenge him, and they
- 34:46Speaker 1: got the budget they wanted. Good news, Kevin Harts on
- 34:50Speaker 1: them end, the comedian actor has been released from the hospital.
- 34:53Speaker 1: He's now in a rehab center. He's going to be
- 34:55Speaker 1: there for a couple of months and Finally, today is
- 34:58Speaker 1: National Milkshade Day. Shake brings on the horses to God.
- 35:01Speaker 1: And well, it's actually Chocolate Milkshake Day. And I guess
- 35:06Speaker 1: you know chocolate milkshake. You get it. Now back to
- 35:08Speaker 1: the Steve Harvey Morning Show. You're listening to The Steve
- 35:12Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. Knight in Houston, Guys on the campus
- 35:15Speaker 1: of Texas Southern University TSU. It's the third National Democratic

- 35:45Speaker 1: former Texas Congressman Beto O'Rourke, former Housing and Urban Development

- 36:21Speaker 1: It's gonna air for three hours, eight pm to eleven
- 36:24Speaker 1: pm Eastern times. Yeah. I just wish that these candidates
- 36:29Speaker 1: would tell the truth. Everybody don't have a plan for everything.
- 36:34Speaker 1: Stop lying because you don't. I would be glad if
- 36:38Speaker 1: somebody just said, you know what, I really don't have
- 36:41Speaker 1: a plan for that right now. But didn't the next
- 36:44Speaker 1: person go, well, I do I have a plan. I
- 36:47Speaker 1: have a very concise plan. But the truth of the
- 36:49Speaker 1: matter is half of the things that people say in
- 36:53Speaker 1: campaigning you never hear it again the election, seriously, man,
- 36:58Speaker 1: and I wish they would us be honest about it.
- 37:01Speaker 1: First of all, nobody's nobody wants to pay seventy percent taxes.
- 37:08Speaker 1: Nobody and nobody would think that's right for them. So
- 37:12Speaker 1: anybody proposing seventy percent taxes, that's why are you kidding me? Man?
- 37:18Speaker 1: Who wants to do that? You go to work every
- 37:21Speaker 1: day and seven seventy cent of every dollar go to
- 37:25Speaker 1: some men. Get out of here. Oh surely they leave
- 37:27Speaker 1: in it's already eleven. Just tell all the candidates another
- 37:30Speaker 1: pub never been to Texas Southern. When you leave, leave
- 37:33Speaker 1: off Clayborne. Don't go down and blotch you no right
- 37:39Speaker 1: old Clayborne. But your last candidacy alby j that's his hometown.
- 37:48Speaker 1: You heard him coming up next to thirty four after
- 37:50Speaker 1: the hour. Antonio Brown practice with the Patriots yesterday and O. J.
- 37:54Speaker 1: Simpson spoke about Antonio's allegations. There he goes again, Hey, cool,
- 38:00Speaker 1: I want to hear what he got to say because whatever,
- 38:03Speaker 1: well we know he cut up. Come on, you're listening
- 38:08Speaker 1: Dry Morning Show. As we mentioned, Antonio Brown was at
- 38:12Speaker 1: practice yesterday with the New England Patriots. But the Patriots
- 38:16Speaker 1: will see if Antonio will play on Sunday in the
- 38:19Speaker 1: Patriots versus Miami Dolphins game. Take a listen to Patriots
- 38:23Speaker 1: head coach Bill Bilichick's press conference yesterday to the situation.
- 38:27Speaker 1: We're taking it very seriously, um all the way through
- 38:30Speaker 1: the organization, share our questions, but I'm not going to
- 38:33Speaker 1: be an entering a discussion about that. Were you aware
- 38:38Speaker 1: of the lawsuit when you signed Antonio Brown. I'm not
- 38:42Speaker 1: going to be expanding on the statements that have already
- 38:44Speaker 1: been given. The fans deserve to heart. You know, could
- 38:49Speaker 1: have named the team. I just said that. So all
- 38:53Speaker 1: what Antonio Brown has said to you? Yeah, I mean
- 38:57Speaker 1: I'm done with that. Okay, anything else in Miami, wait questions,
- 39:04Speaker 1: you explain me even you're done with it. I mean,
- 39:06Speaker 1: we're just trying to find out if he said anything
- 39:08Speaker 1: to you about him about the obligations. I just answered
- 39:12Speaker 1: that question. Actually you did. Actually Okay, don't ask him nothing.
- 39:21Speaker 1: All right? So right right, it's gonna be the same
- 39:25Speaker 1: as they said. But Steve, this is the one you
- 39:28Speaker 1: want to hear right here. O. J. Simpson has something
- 39:31Speaker 1: to say about Antonio. Uh, take a listen. I saw
- 39:35Speaker 1: where somebody accused Antonio of rape. Now let's make one
- 39:40Speaker 1: thing clear. He was accused, not charged. But I don't
- 39:44Speaker 1: know how that's gonna affect him this week. I'm just
- 39:47Speaker 1: I'm hoping it's not true. Nothing I know about Antonio
- 39:51Speaker 1: Uh would make me think he would do something like that.
- 39:54Speaker 1: But you know, as Antonio Brown turns is, we're living
- 40:00Speaker 1: out I hope it's not too. I'm just saying take
- 40:04Speaker 1: care you know. First of all, can I say something
- 40:07Speaker 1: here please? First of all, what the hell you laughing at? Secondly,
- 40:14Speaker 1: you're probably not the best character witness, thank you. I mean,
- 40:19Speaker 1: Antonio needs somebody speaking up for him. I think your
- 40:24Speaker 1: ass is the last person an Tonio got to be
- 40:30Speaker 1: somewhere going, oh the hell no, see Antonio. If Antonio
- 40:37Speaker 1: heard this here and he couldn't keep clean out of
- 40:39Speaker 1: the locker right now, you got to be the worst
- 40:43Speaker 1: damn person you know, O. J. Simpson. He just don't
- 40:48Speaker 1: understand that his ass need to get somewhere, sit down
- 40:52Speaker 1: and be quiet, because don't nobody care if you ever
- 40:56Speaker 1: wanted to damage Antonio Brown's chance of getting a fair trial,
- 41:03Speaker 1: if you have any inkling that a man is innocent
- 41:06Speaker 1: into proven guilty, which is what this country it is
- 41:10Speaker 1: supposed to be about. OL J. Simpson. Ass cannot talk.
- 41:18Speaker 1: No damn when who keeps putting a mic in his face?
- 41:22Speaker 1: That's who who keeps doing that? I would I turn
- 41:25Speaker 1: it on because it's gonna be something. Seriously, I mean,
- 41:30Speaker 1: you know the hell you laughing at? Bro? I mean,
- 41:37Speaker 1: come on, I mean we're living in each time, bro.
- 41:42Speaker 1: Oh jay, I ain't heard nobody laugh at this yet.
- 41:47Speaker 1: It's not very very serious. Yes, what is he laughing this?
- 41:55Speaker 1: Damn dude? Right hill man? Yeah, and you would think,
- 41:59Speaker 1: how old now? Seventy something? Okay, I don't know he
- 42:04Speaker 1: old though you can look it up. Yeah, he old.
- 42:06Speaker 1: But let me at one point in time, you're supposed
- 42:11Speaker 1: to a man just down old. People have been saying
- 42:17Speaker 1: stuff that you don't. Ain't no food like an old food.
- 42:23Speaker 1: And when you bro the words a man, go play
- 42:29Speaker 1: with your grandkids and the words of my wife. Right,
- 42:35Speaker 1: just shut the blank up. It's all right, nothing Lebata
- 42:43Speaker 1: Antonio Brown makes me think, don't nobody care what you think?
- 42:46Speaker 1: We already found out. What you think? We already what
- 42:53Speaker 1: happened when your ass start thinking exactly? All right? Coming
- 42:57Speaker 1: up next the nephew in the building. We're gonna switch
- 42:59Speaker 1: gears here with the prank phone call coming up right
- 43:01Speaker 1: after this. You're listening to show coming up at the
- 43:08Speaker 1: top of the hour, right about four minutes after it's
- 43:10Speaker 1: my strawberry letter forward today the subject how often should
- 43:14Speaker 1: you get a massage? That's a question, how often should
- 43:17Speaker 1: you get a massage? All right? All right, now, the
- 43:21Speaker 1: nephew is here with today's frank phone call. What you
- 43:23Speaker 1: got now the shop lift? Let's go get Hello. Yes,
- 43:31Speaker 1: I'm trying to reach a Tanya. Please, Hi, Tanya. My
- 43:36Speaker 1: name is Daniel from the head of store security here
- 43:39Speaker 1: at your job. Yeah, listen, I'm trying to see Um,
- 43:43Speaker 1: I'm gonna have to I know today's your day off.
- 43:45Speaker 1: I'm looking at the schedule here. It seems that you
- 43:47Speaker 1: don't come back in until Saturday. I'm trying to see
- 43:50Speaker 1: if it's possible I can get you to come to
- 43:52Speaker 1: the store. There's a bit of a situation I want
- 43:54Speaker 1: to discuss with you. There's about eighteen hundred dollars worth
- 43:58Speaker 1: of merchandise missing from the store, or yeah, as about
- 44:03Speaker 1: eighteen hundred dollars worth of merchandise. And we definitely know
- 44:05Speaker 1: that this is a in house situation. This is not
- 44:08Speaker 1: someone walking in shoplifting. This is definitely an in house
- 44:13Speaker 1: situation with employees who have evidently been shoplifting from the store,
- 44:17Speaker 1: taking things, and we want to get down to the
- 44:20Speaker 1: to the roots of the problem. Okay, well, ma'am, it's uh.
- 44:26Speaker 1: It's been brought to my attention that there's a possibility
- 44:28Speaker 1: that you may be part of this situation, and thief,
- 44:37Speaker 1: I don't Still you don't call my house accusing me.
- 44:40Speaker 1: Is still I as stole listing from nobody? Okay, well,
- 44:43Speaker 1: my hangar man, what I'm trying to do is just
- 44:45Speaker 1: trying to you, trying to say out and hold something
- 44:49Speaker 1: and I stole them. Okay, wait just a second. Now,
- 44:53Speaker 1: do you have a sister named Cynthia? Yeah? What about it? Well,
- 44:56Speaker 1: now it seems that here on some of the footage
- 44:59Speaker 1: that we have on camera, that it's a possibility that
- 45:03Speaker 1: it seems like your sister's actually wearing some of the
- 45:06Speaker 1: merchandise that we sell here in the store. Okay, just
- 45:10Speaker 1: because she wears something that we sell in the store
- 45:13Speaker 1: don't mean that I stole it. Well, we don't see
- 45:16Speaker 1: where she's at. I've backed the footage up as far
- 45:19Speaker 1: as I could. I don't see any footage of where
- 45:21Speaker 1: she purchased this particular merchandise. And my assumption is maybe
- 45:25Speaker 1: you gave it to her. I gave her And just
- 45:29Speaker 1: because you don't see what somebody purchased it don't mean
- 45:32Speaker 1: that it's been stolen. Okay, here's what I'm gonna I'm
- 45:35Speaker 1: gonna just get to the chase of this, Tanya. What
- 45:37Speaker 1: I'm gonna have to do is this if I can't
- 45:40Speaker 1: get you to come to the store. Man. And matter
- 45:43Speaker 1: of fact, here's another question for you before I go
- 45:45Speaker 1: any further. You have children at all? Tanya? Yeah? I
- 45:48Speaker 1: got children, wife? Do you? Is it possible? Because I'm
- 45:51Speaker 1: missing a lot of baby merchandise as well? And you
- 45:55Speaker 1: know what, you know what you really cruisings for me
- 46:00Speaker 1: this morning? Okay, because you don't call somebody on the
- 46:03Speaker 1: off day accusing them of stealing. Okay, here's what I
- 46:06Speaker 1: gotta do. Are you coming into the office so I
- 46:09Speaker 1: can talk with you? I'm not coming know where on
- 46:13Speaker 1: my off day. Well, then what's gonna happen, miss Tanya,
- 46:16Speaker 1: is I'm gonna have to actually come to your home,
- 46:19Speaker 1: check your closet. I'm gonna have to check your kids
- 46:21Speaker 1: and see if they're doing what check and see if
- 46:23Speaker 1: they're wearing merchandise that comes from this. Come to my
- 46:26Speaker 1: house if you want to, and they gonna take your
- 46:29Speaker 1: somebody here in the body back. Excuse me me. You
- 46:32Speaker 1: heard what I said. You heard what I said. You
- 46:35Speaker 1: don't call nobody. I bust my death store. I bust
- 46:38Speaker 1: my to death store. You understand me. I work hard
- 46:41Speaker 1: for y'all. Okay, you you've been busting you. You've been
- 46:44Speaker 1: busting your car here excusing me of stealing. I ain't
- 46:47Speaker 1: so from nobody. I don't have to steal. That's why
- 46:51Speaker 1: I work all that. You understand. I think you've been
- 46:53Speaker 1: busting your butt. Taking stuff is what you've been doing.
- 46:57Speaker 1: You've been from nobody. You understand me. I do not steal.
- 47:01Speaker 1: I'm gonna come over there. I'm checking your closets things,
- 47:05Speaker 1: but it ain't no sea. You understand. And I'm checking
- 47:07Speaker 1: your babies as well. And I'm making check my babies
- 47:10Speaker 1: and see what happens. You put your heads on any
- 47:12Speaker 1: damn thing in here, and see what happens. Okay, I
- 47:16Speaker 1: don't want to have to drag your button here. Drag.
- 47:18Speaker 1: Oh you're gonna drag somebody? Oh? Now, you threatening me.
- 47:21Speaker 1: I don't want to drag out of your house. Security guy,
- 47:24Speaker 1: You tough security guy. You like your job that much
- 47:26Speaker 1: you're willing to die for that? Huh? Who said anything
- 47:29Speaker 1: about me? Die? I did come over here, and that's
- 47:32Speaker 1: what's gonna happen. That's what happens when you put people
- 47:35Speaker 1: on the off days you get hurt. Okay, I get
- 47:38Speaker 1: a couple of damn days off, and y'all gonna call
- 47:41Speaker 1: me with this one. So are you threatening me? Now?

- 52:54Speaker 1: got it for you. Here it is Strawberry Letter. Okay, uh,
- 52:58Speaker 1: I gotta do a disclaimer on this one because it's
- 53:02Speaker 1: a little could be a little graphic, so if you
- 53:05Speaker 1: have young children in the car, parents, please be aware
- 53:07Speaker 1: of that. Okay, subject how often should you get a massage?
- 53:11Speaker 1: Dear Stephen Shirley I am a thirty year old man
- 53:14Speaker 1: and I love working out. I started a new, very
- 53:18Speaker 1: intense workout routine last month, and my trainer suggested that
- 53:21Speaker 1: I get a good deep tissue massage to get out
- 53:24Speaker 1: the kinks. So I scheduled a ninety minute deep tissue
- 53:28Speaker 1: massage with a massage therapist. It's an in home massage
- 53:33Speaker 1: service that came highly recommended by my trainer. A day later,
- 53:37Speaker 1: a female therapist showed up at my house and I
- 53:40Speaker 1: was surprised at how beautiful and in shape she was.
- 53:44Speaker 1: She sat up the massage table in the den and
- 53:47Speaker 1: I got on top of the table, face down in
- 53:50Speaker 1: my underwear. She advised me to get totally undressed so
- 53:54Speaker 1: she could work every muscle, including my gloups. I was naked,
- 53:59Speaker 1: only covered by a sheet. As she carefully rubbed each
- 54:02Speaker 1: muscle in my body, she whispered for me to roll
- 54:06Speaker 1: over on my back. She worked on my neck and
- 54:09Speaker 1: my shoulders. Then she moved down to my legs and
- 54:13Speaker 1: leaned over to whisper, may I may, I I shook.
- 54:20Speaker 1: I shook my head. It's my letter. I shook my head. Yes,
- 54:24Speaker 1: And this fine female therapist grabbed a muscle that I
- 54:27Speaker 1: normally don't get massaged. I lay there quietly as yeah,
- 54:32Speaker 1: as she massaged it, and she even yeah, she even
- 54:36Speaker 1: went downtown. I was speechless. She even went downtown. Yeah, yeah,
- 54:48Speaker 1: but it means the same thing. Okay, I was speechless,
- 54:52Speaker 1: but I was praying that my wife didn't walk in.
- 54:55Speaker 1: Yes I'm married, God, but yeah, but yeah, I know, yes,
- 55:05Speaker 1: I'm married. But there is no way I was going
- 55:08Speaker 1: to stop this massage therapist because she handled me way
- 55:13Speaker 1: better than my wife ever has. Yeah, cut up. I
- 55:20Speaker 1: tipped her well and she left. Now I'm not stupid
- 55:24Speaker 1: enough to have an affair, but I really really need
- 55:27Speaker 1: to see her again. After all, my trainer did tell
- 55:31Speaker 1: me that I should get regular massages. There's got to
- 55:34Speaker 1: be some way I can justify this. Steve, I need
- 55:37Speaker 1: your advice, Steve. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, all right, Steve,
- 55:41Speaker 1: I need your advice. Yeah yeah, all right. You answering
- 55:49Speaker 1: the question, I'm I'm I'm about my head and prayer. Okay, Yeah,
- 55:56Speaker 1: he's saying he can't be stupid enough to have an affair.
- 55:59Speaker 1: But smart people have affairs. Okay, And if you think
- 56:02Speaker 1: you're smart, uh, you know, listen, smart people have affairs.
- 56:06Speaker 1: How do you think affairs get started, They get started
- 56:09Speaker 1: in sometimes in these ways, certainly massages sometimes then repeat
- 56:14Speaker 1: massages like you want to do. Come on, Mary Man,
- 56:19Speaker 1: your trainer and this massus have quite a hustle going
- 56:22Speaker 1: on here, so please be careful, never ever write her
- 56:25Speaker 1: a check, because what you don't want is for your wife,
- 56:29Speaker 1: who you stated in the letter, dummy, very clearly, that
- 56:33Speaker 1: it's not better. She's not better than the massus at
- 56:37Speaker 1: handling you. I mean, come on, what if your wife
- 56:39Speaker 1: comes in and catches you? Okay? Do you think about
- 56:42Speaker 1: these things? The other thing you have to stop is
- 56:46Speaker 1: letting this massus, this massage therapist come into your home
- 56:50Speaker 1: and massage you. There's no way you can justify that continually.
- 56:53Speaker 1: All right. Your wife could come in and walk in
- 56:56Speaker 1: on you at any time. What are you gonna do? Then? Okay,
- 57:00Speaker 1: you wait until the very end of the letter to
- 57:01Speaker 1: tell us you were married, after you sucked us all
- 57:03Speaker 1: in anyway, after after one happened after me, we're all
- 57:12Speaker 1: caught up in the letter, and then he drops the
- 57:16Speaker 1: bomb that he's married. All right, he needs to stop
- 57:18Speaker 1: this immediately, you know, especially at his home. He's gonna
- 57:22Speaker 1: I mean, this is how affairs start right here. The
- 57:24Speaker 1: writing is m don't do it. Don't do it, all right, Steve,
- 57:27Speaker 1: Come on, I hear your prayers. I hear your prayers.
- 57:31Speaker 1: Make me proud for proud. Don't listen to thank you.
- 57:37Speaker 1: There's just thirty ye old man loves working out. I don't.
- 57:45Speaker 1: I work out, yes, so I don't look like certain people.
- 57:49Speaker 1: I know. That's the only reason I work out. If
- 57:53Speaker 1: that was appeal that could get this stomach off, I
- 57:55Speaker 1: take it. I promise you I would. I started a
- 58:00Speaker 1: intense workout routine and trainer told you to get a
- 58:03Speaker 1: deep tissue with shows. Get out to kings. Uh scheduled
- 58:07Speaker 1: a ninety minute when massage theirs was repremmentded by your
- 58:11Speaker 1: trainers in the home therapist. A day later, this woman
- 58:15Speaker 1: show up at they're doing Lord her mercy. She was fine,
- 58:17Speaker 1: she's scared. Wait a minute, I am scared sharing it
- 58:21Speaker 1: because he's asking me for helping. I ain't got nothing
- 58:23Speaker 1: for his ass. She set up the massage table in
- 58:27Speaker 1: the den. I got on the table, faced down, well
- 58:31Speaker 1: as you should, in your underwear as you should. She
- 58:34Speaker 1: advised me to get totally undressed so she could work
- 58:38Speaker 1: every muscle including my glutes. Now, let's stop right there.
- 58:41Speaker 1: First of all, we're in your house. If a fine
- 58:45Speaker 1: woman is in your house and tells you to take
- 58:50Speaker 1: your draws off, we're in trouble because I get this
- 58:54Speaker 1: massage without taking my draws off, and she wanted to
- 58:58Speaker 1: work every muscle, including my glutes. That's his A hold up.
- 59:03Speaker 1: Once you touch my ass with your head and I
- 59:06Speaker 1: don't have draws on, there is a reaction that come
- 59:09Speaker 1: with that. I'm just trying to tell you that we'll
- 59:11Speaker 1: be back. Yeah, well, well a fart. Two of Steve's
- 59:15Speaker 1: response coming up in twenty three after the hour, Today's
- 59:18Speaker 1: a letter, how often should you get a massage? We'll
- 59:21Speaker 1: be back right after this. You're listening morning show? All right,
- 59:26Speaker 1: Come on, Steve, let's recap today's strawberry letters. Subject how
- 59:29Speaker 1: often should you get a massage? If this letter came
- 59:32Speaker 1: with a disclaimer because it gets a little graphic in here.
- 59:35Speaker 1: All right, thirty year old dude, young dude in shape
- 59:39Speaker 1: in test workouts, trainer told him he needs to get
- 59:42Speaker 1: some deep tissue massage is to get the kinks out
- 59:45Speaker 1: to train to recommended this therapist. She shows up at
- 59:47Speaker 1: the house next day, she's beautiful and in shape. She
- 59:52Speaker 1: sets up the table told him to get undressed. He
- 59:55Speaker 1: gets undressed, and before he lay down on the fake
- 59:58Speaker 1: table face down. Got it. He got on the table
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: face down in his underwear. She advised me to get
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: totally undressed so she could work every muscle, including my glutes.
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: This is where the letters starts to turn y. Glutes
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: for those of you that don't know, is a medical
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: term for ass. Yeah, and so you neck it because
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: she wants to massage your ass. That's really what where
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: we down, which creates an instant problem for Steve. This
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: is why I don't get massages, because once you touch
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: my neckd glue with your bare hands, that glue automatically
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: becomes an ass. It's no longer glue. You touching my ass.
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: I'm saying it to myself. She touching my ass while
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: you're on the table. She got a finger on my ass. Now,
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: when you can your glue, massage your thumb, careful. Your
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: thumb does a lot of probe and type work. Now
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: there's a crease between your glue and the top of
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: your fat. There's a little line. Is usually a darker area.
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: It's usually darker on most pains. Yeah. Now, once your
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: thumb enters that area that's called the zone. Yes, you
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: do not mess around. It rubbed my muscle in the zone,
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: and now you covered by a sheet. She rubbed every muscle.
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: She whispered for me to roll over on my back.
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: That's the other thing. I can't be naked, and we whispered.
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: Listen to me. It's no way I can be naked,
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: and you whisper because you see she early. I want
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: you to say, in a female voice. I want you
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: to just say, roll over. Now say whisper. Huh, roll over? Yes,
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: Now I don't see watch you whisper. I can't roll
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: over because the reaction has begun. Because I'm necking and
- 1:02:23Speaker 1: you whispering. You down here by my ear, the reaction
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: to the whisper has begun. So you flip over. And
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: now she surprises you by start rubbing your neck and shoulders.
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: Well after you the whisper to me and I turned over.
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: We both have surprises. Then she moved down to my
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: legs and leaned over to whisper again. Man, all I
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: could do was shake my head. You whisper man, yes,
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: And I can tell you Charlette say and I'm gonna
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: show you how he said, yes, yes, he can't get
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: it out about whimper. This fine female therapist grabbed a
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: muscle that I normally don't get massage. This is a problem. Now.
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: I laid that quietly. Not that right there. I can't
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: be quiet. I laid that quietly as she mashaged it
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: and went down. Now, how's we quiet this letter at
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: the house. I don't give well, I don't give that
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: where we at if I don't have a tube sock
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: handy that I can pack in my mouth. This is
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: the quietest out. I was speechless, but I was praying
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: that my wife didn't walk in. You wasn't praying that
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: damn hard. I can tell you right now you weren't
- 1:04:04Speaker 1: praying that hard. Yes, I'm married, but there's no way
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: I was gonna stop this massage therapist. Because she handled
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: me way better than my wife ever has. This is
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: where we got a problem. And the reason why she
- 1:04:22Speaker 1: was handling you way better than your wife, it's because
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: she got way more experience because this is what she do.
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: She's a massage therapist. Whisper, I tiptoe well as she
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: left you. Damn right, she did na I'm not stupid
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: enough to have an affair. What you think just happened? Oh,
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: I don't know if y'all know if you think I'm
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: not stupid enough to have an affair. I don't know
- 1:04:48Speaker 1: what you think just happened. But that's the definition of
- 1:04:52Speaker 1: an affair. But I really really need to see her again.
- 1:04:55Speaker 1: I know you do. After all, my trainer did tell
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: me I should get regular MASSI there's gotta be some
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: way I could justify this, Steve, I need your vital
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: But bro, because we're on the radio, let me tell
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: you something you can you can justify by saying you
- 1:05:09Speaker 1: need regular deep tissue massage. But I don't know how
- 1:05:12Speaker 1: hard you're working out where that muscle is soap. This
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: isn't affair. I don't know what you what you're doing
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: push ups and fail I don't know what you did. Dog,
- 1:05:22Speaker 1: You're in trouble. You're having an affair, and you can
- 1:05:25Speaker 1: call it what you want to call it, but that's
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: what this is. Push your comments on Today's Strawberry Letter
- 1:05:31Speaker 1: on Instagram and Facebook at Steve Harvey FM. Also check
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: out the Strawberry Letter podcast on demand now coming up

- 1:05:47Speaker 1: we have this crazy strawberry letter today. How often should
- 1:05:49Speaker 1: you get a massage? This dude in the World of
- 1:05:52Speaker 1: Trouble that had this massage at his house with this
- 1:05:54Speaker 1: therapist and set up in here and went down on
- 1:05:56Speaker 1: him in his living room and he married. Your wife
- 1:05:59Speaker 1: gonna find out, dog, Like I said, she gonna come
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: in there and want to know what does the folk
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: dance in the coffee for? And then you're gonna tell
- 1:06:05Speaker 1: I had a massage, and then she's gonna start finding clue.
- 1:06:08Speaker 1: If first it's gonna be who told the curtains down there?
- 1:06:12Speaker 1: If you're getting the massage, why is your footprint on
- 1:06:15Speaker 1: the flat screen TV? And it's kind of cracking it? Yeah,
- 1:06:22Speaker 1: he's playing. Yeah, that's it. Let's just move on, ladieship, gentlemen,
- 1:06:27Speaker 1: without further dude, Sheryl Underwood. One thing is Steve Harman,
- 1:06:34Speaker 1: give it up the bad man. There's a lot of
- 1:06:38Speaker 1: stuff going on. Listen. The debate is tonight. Let us
- 1:06:43Speaker 1: all lay our hands on the radio for Joe Biden
- 1:06:45Speaker 1: that he can clinch this because I hear in the
- 1:06:48Speaker 1: post fifty five percent, he would get fit the purpose
- 1:06:53Speaker 1: of the vote if the vote happened right now against
- 1:06:56Speaker 1: Trump's uh you know he the president. But you know what,
- 1:06:59Speaker 1: you know what time of the So Joe Biden, all
- 1:07:01Speaker 1: I need you to a stand in and smile with
- 1:07:03Speaker 1: your hand in your pocket counting your change. You know,
- 1:07:06Speaker 1: don't say nothing crazy because don't you think if he
- 1:07:08Speaker 1: says something crazy now, that's gonna mess it up? Is
- 1:07:12Speaker 1: the is the dude from South Bend? Is he is
- 1:07:15Speaker 1: the mayor? What's his name? That gag because I can't
- 1:07:20Speaker 1: say his name? Which game? And I don't want to
- 1:07:21Speaker 1: be disrespectful. Yeah, ok, yes he It's a lot of
- 1:07:28Speaker 1: people need to get somewhere in sed Down that need
- 1:07:30Speaker 1: to be about five people up there. The billionaire dude
- 1:07:32Speaker 1: that bought his way in. That's how you do it
- 1:07:34Speaker 1: right there. That's solid game player right there. You're gonna
- 1:07:37Speaker 1: listen to me throw that money on table with store
- 1:07:40Speaker 1: step Tom? What his night? That guy what Tom? Staying
- 1:07:45Speaker 1: away Northern California. Yeah. I don't want him to debate
- 1:07:49Speaker 1: no Democrats. I want him to go straight at Trump.
- 1:07:52Speaker 1: I want to go straight at Trump because that's gonna
- 1:07:55Speaker 1: be ignorant way minute. I hear that some new neked
- 1:07:57Speaker 1: pences out first it was is now who is it? Um?
- 1:08:02Speaker 1: It's a Kardashian Kardashian general the baby and Travis. Yeah,
- 1:08:07Speaker 1: and who is the boy? She went Travis and they
- 1:08:12Speaker 1: show she's showing. Yeah for sure. Yeah, the only pitch
- 1:08:17Speaker 1: I want to see, Junior, get a camera. What's happening,
- 1:08:20Speaker 1: what we're doing, what we're doing doing? What's happened? Come on,
- 1:08:23Speaker 1: we could be in a king copted. Oh no, oh
- 1:08:31Speaker 1: oh no, I would not be disappointed. Behind, have you know, Cheryl,
- 1:08:44Speaker 1: We gotta get out of here. It's a top for me,
- 1:08:46Speaker 1: the guys, it is coming under the top of the hour.
- 1:08:49Speaker 1: Carlin's Reality Update. Thank you Underwood, Thank you Junior. You're
- 1:08:55Speaker 1: listening right, Get ready to get ready. She is here,
- 1:09:01Speaker 1: call a Ferrol with what reality date? All right? Thank
- 1:09:05Speaker 1: you nephew. Here we girl show. Here is the team
- 1:09:08Speaker 1: Shirley Strawberry Housewives girl Potona, Oh yeah, okay, season finale, Brenda.
- 1:09:23Speaker 1: Listen your girl, Katie. Remember I told you she left
- 1:09:26Speaker 1: the Cayman Islands on the trip that the ladies said, Well,
- 1:09:29Speaker 1: she listened, Steve. She posted on Instagram why she really left.
- 1:09:32Speaker 1: She was sick. She called an island house doctor. He
- 1:09:36Speaker 1: told her to stay out the sun. She decided to
- 1:09:38Speaker 1: leave the Caymans altogether. She did tell production and the
- 1:09:42Speaker 1: front desk because remember the other girls was like, she
- 1:09:43Speaker 1: didn't even tell nobody, so they was concerned. They was
- 1:09:46Speaker 1: getting ready to a missing person's report. Anyway, she's blaming
- 1:09:49Speaker 1: it all on editing and that she did communicate what
- 1:09:53Speaker 1: was going on, and she said, by the way Robin
- 1:09:56Speaker 1: is broke, she couldn't afford to do the trip. I mean,
- 1:09:58Speaker 1: Katie was just throwing shade, shade shade. She also revealed
- 1:10:02Speaker 1: that she was pregnant. No, that's why she left, and
- 1:10:05Speaker 1: that's why she left. But sadly she did have a miscarriage,
- 1:10:08Speaker 1: so that's why she's very mad at editing on the
- 1:10:11Speaker 1: show did not tell her full story, but she talks
- 1:10:14Speaker 1: about that on Instagram. Anyway, back to the show. On
- 1:10:17Speaker 1: the season finale, Candice told her mom that she and
- 1:10:20Speaker 1: her husband are ready to take over the mortgage. But
- 1:10:23Speaker 1: now she and her mom are beefing again. Shirley, they're
- 1:10:26Speaker 1: not talking anymore. I don't understand what's going on with her.
- 1:10:29Speaker 1: And her mom Candice, not Candy Burris from Atlanta. This
- 1:10:38Speaker 1: is Potomac. Robin sold her investment property with her mom,
- 1:10:50Speaker 1: and her and her ex husband Juan got commitment tattoos,
- 1:10:53Speaker 1: so it looks like they're gonna try to get their
- 1:10:55Speaker 1: marriage back together. Giselle. She moves into her new house
- 1:10:59Speaker 1: with her waters and you know our girl Karen launched
- 1:11:03Speaker 1: her perfume business business. Did you see that shirt? Looked perfume?
- 1:11:11Speaker 1: So anyway, she did her thing, and Ashley revealed on
- 1:11:14Speaker 1: the show to her husband and just to her mother
- 1:11:17Speaker 1: that she was pregnant. She did not tell her castmates,
- 1:11:21Speaker 1: but they figured it out at Karen's party when Ashley
- 1:11:23Speaker 1: was just drinking water, Robin and Gazelle was like, you know,
- 1:11:28Speaker 1: Corona in a minute, so now she just drinking water
- 1:11:31Speaker 1: all of a sudden. So they kind of figured it out.
- 1:11:34Speaker 1: And so there you have it. That is the season
- 1:11:36Speaker 1: finale of Real Housewives of Potomac. So well, I will
- 1:11:39Speaker 1: be watching the reunion show, and you know it's gonna
- 1:11:42Speaker 1: be some drum ma on the reunion show. Moving on,
- 1:11:46Speaker 1: did you guys see the scripted show that we love
- 1:11:49Speaker 1: so much on Stars Hour, Go girl, Yes, Yes, yes, yes,

- 1:12:33Speaker 1: That's all I got to say. I'm just gonna leave
- 1:12:35Speaker 1: on lorenz Tate, ladies, gonna let y'all marinate on that,
- 1:12:38Speaker 1: because I know y'all thinking back to that episode. Nothing
- 1:12:40Speaker 1: I can talk about any he's so cute. What I'm
- 1:12:44Speaker 1: not about councilman tating what he was doing? Hold on,
- 1:12:48Speaker 1: hold on, hold on, let me jump in here, Shirley.
- 1:12:51Speaker 1: What's the last statement you said about Loren's tap. He's
- 1:12:54Speaker 1: so cute, Tommy, Yeah, he is cute. He's good looking, Tommy.
- 1:12:58Speaker 1: Yes see how he said that, You've never heard that.
- 1:13:02Speaker 1: I've heard no, and you've never heard that. And I
- 1:13:05Speaker 1: want you to make note of this. Now, go ahead,
- 1:13:08Speaker 1: Chirley Lorin's tate. He's so cute if he Harry que
- 1:13:11Speaker 1: Ducky was about his shirt or shoes, I'm like that
- 1:13:18Speaker 1: went him. Last time he was cute, he was a
- 1:13:23Speaker 1: baby in the basset net and they was talking about
- 1:13:26Speaker 1: the little doll he had. It's hard to go against
- 1:13:28Speaker 1: two dly people. You Junior, y'all, yes, all right, listen,
- 1:13:32Speaker 1: Coming out Harvey is a coming up trending news on
- 1:13:38Speaker 1: the Steve Harvey Morning Show. We'll be back in twenty
- 1:13:40Speaker 1: minutes after the hour. Right after this, you're listening Steven Show,
- 1:13:47Speaker 1: six and ten Americans, Sarah. Recession is likely in the
- 1:13:51Speaker 1: next year. That's what people are talking about, and as
- 1:13:54Speaker 1: many are concerned about the higher prices because of the
- 1:13:56Speaker 1: trade war with China. This information helped to not six
- 1:14:00Speaker 1: points off President Trump's job approval rating in the latest
- 1:14:03Speaker 1: ABC News Washington Post poll. Mister Trump fell from a
- 1:14:07Speaker 1: career high forty four percent approval in July two down
- 1:14:11Speaker 1: to thirty eight percent. Now that's a point off his
- 1:14:14Speaker 1: career average with fifty percent. They asking, they're not asking anybody.
- 1:14:19Speaker 1: I know, Yeah, we never know the people cause why
- 1:14:22Speaker 1: he would even have an approval because everybody. I don't know,
- 1:14:30Speaker 1: nobody that approve of him or the job he does,
- 1:14:34Speaker 1: except on Fox. Yeah. Trump fell from a career high
- 1:14:39Speaker 1: forty four percent approval back in July to thirty eight percent,
- 1:14:42Speaker 1: now a point off his career average, with fifty six
- 1:14:45Speaker 1: percent disapproving. His average rating since taking office remains the
- 1:14:50Speaker 1: lowest on record for any modern president at a comparable
- 1:14:53Speaker 1: point in his term, and President Trump is the first
- 1:14:57Speaker 1: never to have achieved majority approval ever. President Trump is
- 1:15:07Speaker 1: the first president never to have achieved majority approval. Okay,
- 1:15:11Speaker 1: his average rating since taking office remains the lowest on
- 1:15:14Speaker 1: record for any modern president at a comparable in his term.

- 1:16:42Speaker 1: eight pm to eleven pm Eastern times. Yeah. I just
- 1:16:47Speaker 1: wish that these candidates would tell the truth. Everybody don't
- 1:16:51Speaker 1: have a plan for everything. Stop lying because you don't.
- 1:16:56Speaker 1: I would be glad if somebody just said, you know what,
- 1:16:59Speaker 1: I really don't have a plan for that right now?
- 1:17:02Speaker 1: But didn't the next person go, well, I do I
- 1:17:05Speaker 1: have a plan. I have a very concise plan. But
- 1:17:08Speaker 1: the truth of the matter is half of the things
- 1:17:10Speaker 1: that people say in uh campaigning, you never hear it again, seriously, man,
- 1:17:18Speaker 1: And I wish they would just be honest about it.
- 1:17:21Speaker 1: First of all, nobody's nobody wants to pay seventy percent taxes.
- 1:17:27Speaker 1: Nobody and nobody would think that's right for them. So
- 1:17:32Speaker 1: anybody proposed in seventy percent taxes, that's why are you
- 1:17:36Speaker 1: kidding me? Man? Who wants to do that? You go
- 1:17:39Speaker 1: to work every day and seven seventy cent of every

- 1:20:20Speaker 1: We know. One thing I appreciate my momach. Ain't lie
- 1:20:23Speaker 1: to me. She says, sit down. I knew it. My
- 1:20:26Speaker 1: mom can do that to me. She's trying to build
- 1:20:29Speaker 1: your spirits confidence. I had to worry about the norm.
- 1:20:36Speaker 1: All right, team, come on, take us something with some
- 1:20:38Speaker 1: inspiring after this closing remarks, if you will, you know,
- 1:20:42Speaker 1: let me just do something really oh short and really helpful.
- 1:20:48Speaker 1: You know, I've been saying a scripture for a long
- 1:20:51Speaker 1: time and some of my motivational speeches that one of
- 1:20:55Speaker 1: the most important scriptures I've ever read is one of
- 1:20:59Speaker 1: the shortest ones two and it has really helped me
- 1:21:02Speaker 1: in my life, in my walk, in my career, in
- 1:21:06Speaker 1: my ups, in my downs. And that scripture is you
- 1:21:10Speaker 1: have not cause you asked not. Now, I just found
- 1:21:16Speaker 1: out where that was in the Bible this week. Did
- 1:21:23Speaker 1: you hear me? I've been saying this scripture for years,
- 1:21:27Speaker 1: but I just found out where it was in the
- 1:21:30Speaker 1: Bible this week. You have not cause you asked not.
- 1:21:36Speaker 1: It's actually James four and two. Now. The way I
- 1:21:42Speaker 1: found it was I was reading a scripture that changed
- 1:21:48Speaker 1: my life when I was on the boat this year,
- 1:21:52Speaker 1: and the scripture was actually James four and three. And
- 1:21:56Speaker 1: what it said was it says you ask and you
- 1:22:00Speaker 1: receive not because you ask a miss And so I
- 1:22:06Speaker 1: was just reading that because I got it from this
- 1:22:09Speaker 1: journal James four and three. And what that meant was
- 1:22:14Speaker 1: that sometimes you ask and you don't receive what you
- 1:22:18Speaker 1: ask because you ask a miss, which means you ask
- 1:22:22Speaker 1: with the wrong motivation. And God oftentimes wasn't answering my
- 1:22:28Speaker 1: prayer because my motivation for what I was praying for
- 1:22:32Speaker 1: was wrong. It wasn't that what I was praying for
- 1:22:35Speaker 1: was wrong, but the reason I wanted to happen was wrong.
- 1:22:39Speaker 1: And it speaks in James four and three about your
- 1:22:43Speaker 1: worldly lust of flesh and fleshly things, but it wasn't
- 1:22:47Speaker 1: learned lust enough to fleshly things. Doesn't necessarily mean somebody.
- 1:22:53Speaker 1: It could just could mean, you know, stuff to appease
- 1:22:57Speaker 1: your fleshly beings, your money so you can flex on somebody,
- 1:23:02Speaker 1: so you can prove them wrong, so you can shake
- 1:23:05Speaker 1: it in their face. That's what it means when it
- 1:23:09Speaker 1: says you ask and you receive not because you ask
- 1:23:12Speaker 1: a miss or for the wrong reason. Well, the other
- 1:23:17Speaker 1: day I was doing my journal review and I read that,
- 1:23:21Speaker 1: and so I was opening up to James four and three,
- 1:23:24Speaker 1: and low and behold, I read James four and two,
- 1:23:28Speaker 1: which says you have not cause you asked not. It
- 1:23:32Speaker 1: was the scripture right in front of it. It blew
- 1:23:35Speaker 1: my mind. So really, he laid it all out there
- 1:23:38Speaker 1: for me. He says, you have not cause you asked not,
- 1:23:41Speaker 1: and you ask and you receive not because you ask
- 1:23:46Speaker 1: for the wrong reason. Man, y'all, I can't tell you
- 1:23:50Speaker 1: how that flipped a switch in my head. So, if
- 1:23:54Speaker 1: you're out there and you've been asking God for something
- 1:23:57Speaker 1: and you can't seem to get it to go your way,
- 1:24:00Speaker 1: check your motivation for why you really want it to happen.
- 1:24:05Speaker 1: And if you check your motivation, then you'll find out
- 1:24:08Speaker 1: that you want it for some other reasons other than
- 1:24:10Speaker 1: the right reasons. All you have to do is adjust
- 1:24:14Speaker 1: your motivation for what you're asking for. Change your motivation,
- 1:24:19Speaker 1: ask for forgiveness, and ask for the blessing that you're
- 1:24:22Speaker 1: asking for for the right reasons, because there's some good
- 1:24:25Speaker 1: that you could do with this thing that you ask
- 1:24:27Speaker 1: if God for that you haven't been getting because you've
- 1:24:29Speaker 1: been asking for the wrong reason. James for and two
- 1:24:33Speaker 1: and James for and for. Those are my closing remarks.
- 1:24:36Speaker 1: I hope that helps you the way it helped me.
