- 0:01Speaker 1: As the Olympics are going on right now, there are
- 0:04Speaker 1: controversies over what American athletes are saying about America. Yes,
- 0:08Speaker 1: the same one's representing this country, but if you look
- 0:11Speaker 1: at the media and the left, they're encouraging it. The
- 0:17Speaker 1: wash In Post has this headline, US Olympic athletes expressing
- 0:22Speaker 1: their views is as America as it gets US athletes.
- 0:28Speaker 1: Reuters has their headlines say they have right to speak
- 0:31Speaker 1: up after Trump. Yes they're attacking Trump, brands Olympic skier
- 0:36Speaker 1: a loser again, justifying their criticism of the United States
- 0:41Speaker 1: of America as they're representing US.
- 0:44Speaker 2: The Guardian has it this way.
- 0:47Speaker 1: Winter olympian says he has received death threats over anti
- 0:52Speaker 1: ice protests.
- 0:54Speaker 2: These are just some of the.
- 0:55Speaker 1: Headlines that are now out there, and the media and
- 0:58Speaker 1: the left are doing it all together.
- 1:00Speaker 3: Now.
- 1:00Speaker 1: A lot of this started after there was what many
- 1:03Speaker 1: described as a green light signal sent from Barack Obama
- 1:08Speaker 1: that it's absolutely okay for you to, you know, go
- 1:11Speaker 1: out there and criticize. Then you had a freestyle skier
- 1:16Speaker 1: named Hunter hess and Chris Lillis who voiced discomfort representing
- 1:22Speaker 1: the United States due to recent political events. It got
- 1:27Speaker 1: even worse, as this was said from the official podium.
- 1:31Speaker 1: Wearing the United States of America's official uniform.
- 1:36Speaker 4: It brings up mixed emotions. To represent the US right now,
- 1:39Speaker 4: I think it's a little hard. There's obviously a lot
- 1:44Speaker 4: going on that I'm not the biggest fan of, and
- 1:46Speaker 4: I think a lot of people aren't. If it aligns
- 1:48Speaker 4: with my moral values, I feel like I'm representing it.
- 1:52Speaker 4: Just because I'm wearing the flag doesn't mean I represent
- 1:55Speaker 4: everything that's going on in the US. So yeah, I
- 1:59Speaker 4: just kind of want to do it for my friends,
- 2:00Speaker 4: of my family and the people that support me getting here.
- 2:03Speaker 1: So there you go. I'm not really a big fan
- 2:05Speaker 1: of the US. That is what Team USA Freestyle skier
- 2:08Speaker 1: Hunter has had to say from the podium. Now, there's
- 2:12Speaker 1: also a picture that has gone viral as well. It
- 2:16Speaker 1: is a picture of skis that are kind of one
- 2:19Speaker 1: going left and the other going right, and then in
- 2:22Speaker 1: the snow it looks like yellow snow. Someone would urinate
- 2:27Speaker 1: and it says, f you you know what? And then
- 2:31Speaker 1: ice that has gone viral as well. And that's not
- 2:35Speaker 1: the only controversy. There's also this one. An American born
- 2:40Speaker 1: Olympic skier who competes now for China. She has now
- 2:46Speaker 1: come out defending Hunter Has, who said he has mixed
- 2:49Speaker 1: emotions about representing Team USA.
- 2:53Speaker 2: Here is part of what she had to say at
- 2:55Speaker 2: the Olympics. What a beautiful outfits.
- 2:58Speaker 5: Oh my gosh, thank you. Can I talk about it
- 3:00Speaker 5: really quick? Yeah? I designed this. It's one of one.
- 3:02Speaker 6: It's my name on it, it's custom made.
- 3:05Speaker 5: It is custom it's one of one.
- 3:06Speaker 4: Here's me.
- 3:07Speaker 5: And the inspiration was China, like the ceramic. So instead
- 3:12Speaker 5: of like a big flag, I wanted something really cultural
- 3:15Speaker 5: and tangible that people would be able to easily recognize
- 3:18Speaker 5: and think, oh wow, that's like a Chinese element. So
- 3:21Speaker 5: this is a dragon. It's embroidered with gold, and it's
- 3:25Speaker 5: the blue and white like the ceramic. I also have
- 3:27Speaker 5: a little compass and a thermometer here in case you
- 3:31Speaker 5: get lost, I can tell you which way is north.
- 3:33Speaker 2: Well rate my outfit? You're a supermodel. What do you think?
- 3:37Speaker 2: I mean?
- 3:37Speaker 5: I feel like it's super unique. If you're comfortable and warm,
- 3:40Speaker 5: then it's a ten out of ten.
- 3:41Speaker 4: I'm comfortable and warm, so that's perfect, fantastic, thank you.
- 3:45Speaker 1: Not to be clear, this is an American born Olympic
- 3:49Speaker 1: skier who defected to China, who's defending Hunter Hess. At
- 3:55Speaker 1: the Winter Games, Goo was seen showing off not only
- 3:58Speaker 1: your suit that was inspired by ceramics, but if you
- 4:02Speaker 1: know the backstory, you'll understand even more of what a
- 4:04Speaker 1: sellout she actually is. She was born and raised in
- 4:08Speaker 1: San Francisco. She actually trained, Yeah, we paid for it
- 4:11Speaker 1: with the US ski and snowboard team, and then she
- 4:15Speaker 1: went to Stanford University. Quote as someone who has got
- 4:19Speaker 1: caught in the crossfire before, I feel sorry for the athletes.
- 4:23Speaker 1: I hope that they can ski to their very best.
- 4:27Speaker 1: That was what she said when asked about the Olympic
- 4:30Speaker 1: skier Hunter Has, who's taking heat for saying he doesn't
- 4:34Speaker 1: really like, you know, representing America. She also took advantage
- 4:38Speaker 1: of everything the United States had to offer her, then
- 4:41Speaker 1: decide to compete for China and is defending Americans who
- 4:45Speaker 1: say they have a hard time representing the US. This
- 4:50Speaker 1: is exactly what the left wants. They want Americans who
- 4:55Speaker 1: have disdained for America representing America. These are the same
- 5:01Speaker 1: people that advocated for men playing in the Olympics. In
- 5:05Speaker 1: women's sports, When you see an American skier slamming America
- 5:10Speaker 1: and then pointing to the American flag on his jacket saying, well,
- 5:14Speaker 1: it doesn't really mean that I represent, like, you know,
- 5:16Speaker 1: the country.
- 5:17Speaker 2: I'm kind of disappointed in it.
- 5:19Speaker 1: There are cheers all over America by Marxists, socialists and
- 5:24Speaker 1: communists that understand this is exactly how you tear down
- 5:29Speaker 1: this country. Now you may roll your eyes and say
- 5:32Speaker 1: this guy will be gone, but to be clear, he's
- 5:35Speaker 1: going to have a major impact on young people. This
- 5:38Speaker 1: American freestyle skier is important to young people. And he's
- 5:43Speaker 1: a guy that well is saying you just be you,
- 5:46Speaker 1: and you don't really have to be excited about representing
- 5:48Speaker 1: your country at the Olympic Games. You know, He's just
- 5:53Speaker 1: whatever I believe today is what I'm going to stand for.
- 5:57Speaker 1: So here we are at the beginning of Thempics, the
- 6:01Speaker 1: first week, and we already have Olympians that are doing
- 6:04Speaker 1: these types of things. And why are they doing it,
- 6:08Speaker 1: because there is a lot of Americans that are aiding,
- 6:12Speaker 1: a betting and supporting and advocating for it and giving
- 6:16Speaker 1: cover to it. By the way, which goes back to
- 6:19Speaker 1: the headlines. I was talking about a moment ago, whether
- 6:22Speaker 1: it is the Washington Post saying the US Olympic athletes
- 6:26Speaker 1: expressing their views is as American as it gets. Saying
- 6:30Speaker 1: American athletes in Italy are trying to handle their response
- 6:33Speaker 1: to questions about well being American thoughtfully and carefully, is
- 6:37Speaker 1: what the title of the article continues to write. We
- 6:41Speaker 1: all know that's not actually true. They're also saying, well,
- 6:45Speaker 1: Donald Trump decided to weigh in, so therefore we will
- 6:49Speaker 1: fight back.
- 6:50Speaker 2: I go back to the basics here.
- 6:53Speaker 1: If you don't like the United States of America, then
- 6:57Speaker 1: don't wear the American flag. If you want to be
- 7:01Speaker 1: an American athlete, then be proud of America and be
- 7:04Speaker 1: a beacon of light for America and freedom when you
- 7:08Speaker 1: are overseas. This is also propaganda for other countries. You
- 7:13Speaker 1: want to know where Hunter hass is the most famous
- 7:15Speaker 1: right now in places like China, because they're broadcasting his
- 7:20Speaker 1: words and they're telling his story, because they want the
- 7:24Speaker 1: country to believe that America's greatest athletes are actually embarrassed
- 7:29Speaker 1: to be on Team USA. I think it's sad that
- 7:33Speaker 1: we're at this point. I want all Americans to do
- 7:37Speaker 1: amazingly well at the Olympics. It's sad that the President
- 7:41Speaker 1: United States of America even had to put out a
- 7:44Speaker 1: statement about Hunter Hass calling him a real loser, says
- 7:47Speaker 1: he doesn't represent his country in the current Winter Olympics.
- 7:50Speaker 1: If that's the case, Trump said, he shouldn't have tried
- 7:53Speaker 1: out for the team, and it's too bad he's on
- 7:56Speaker 1: It very hard to root for someone like this. He
- 7:58Speaker 1: then wrote, make America great again. And it's true. If
- 8:02Speaker 1: you don't like America, then why beyond Team USA. This
- 8:08Speaker 1: is what it's really all about. Finding athletes and having
- 8:12Speaker 1: people that actually love and care about this country. That
- 8:16Speaker 1: to me, is everything. That is what we should all
- 8:20Speaker 1: be excited about. And it should not be controversial. I
- 8:25Speaker 1: want to say that again. It should not be controversial
- 8:30Speaker 1: to be proud of the country that you're representing at
- 8:33Speaker 1: the Olympics. One thing you will not find is any
- 8:36Speaker 1: athletes from China or Germany or Russia, even though they're
- 8:42Speaker 1: not technically representing Russia, that are going to criticize their countries.
- 8:46Speaker 1: You won't find athletes from the Middle East doing exactly
- 8:49Speaker 1: what these American athletes are doing. Why because they don't
- 8:52Speaker 1: have the cover to do it in their country, But
- 8:54Speaker 1: in this country the media and the left. They wanted
- 8:58Speaker 1: this by design, make no mistake about it. Tell you what,
- 9:03Speaker 1: if you watch the Super Bowl, it was kind of boring,
- 9:07Speaker 1: it was lame. The halftime thing we've already covered. But
- 9:10Speaker 1: there is a bigger story that's coming out of the
- 9:12Speaker 1: super Bowl that is I think one of those perfect,
- 9:17Speaker 1: massive moments of warning that if you don't pay attention
- 9:22Speaker 1: to what's happening where you live and who's running your city,
- 9:26Speaker 1: you're gonna end up getting exactly what has happened in
- 9:29Speaker 1: New York City with Mundani and they have like no
- 9:33Speaker 1: trash pick up right now, and ice that's all over
- 9:35Speaker 1: the place, and snow that's built up and it's turning
- 9:38Speaker 1: into a disaster. You also have a mayor that after
- 9:42Speaker 1: a robber hurts someone else, he defended the robber and said,
- 9:46Speaker 1: that's the person needs help, not the person that was
- 9:49Speaker 1: injured in the attack by the robber. That's who is
- 9:53Speaker 1: in charge in New York City. You look at California
- 9:57Speaker 1: and you see just the mismanagement with the wildfires out
- 10:00Speaker 1: there is a great example. The mismanagement with the drugs,
- 10:02Speaker 1: the mismanagement with a crime, the mismanagement with with you know,
- 10:07Speaker 1: they have the safe needle places and it turns into
- 10:09Speaker 1: a crack city. And we've seen San Francisco. We've seen
- 10:13Speaker 1: what has happened to San Francisco. It is no longer
- 10:15Speaker 1: a safe city. It is a disaster. Companies are closing,
- 10:18Speaker 1: malls are closing, shops are closing, Crime totally out of control.
- 10:22Speaker 1: They get to host the super Bowl, and what do
- 10:26Speaker 1: you get for being at the Super Bowl? You get
- 10:29Speaker 1: a tax bill that's more than what you actually made.
- 10:32Speaker 1: I'm going to give you this incredible story that's come
- 10:35Speaker 1: out from the New York Post and it's really gone viral.
- 10:38Speaker 1: Sam Donald's insane California tax bill stunningly exceeds his Super
- 10:45Speaker 1: Bowl winnings is the headline. Sam Donald's big Super Bowl
- 10:50Speaker 1: win Sunday Night actually ended up costing the quarterback money.
- 10:54Speaker 1: So he lost money playing in the Super Bowl and
- 10:56Speaker 1: winning it for one reason, because of California's tax laws. Now,
- 11:02Speaker 1: the Seahawks star will oh are you ready for this?
- 11:07Speaker 2: More than one.
- 11:08Speaker 1: Hundred and seventy eight thousand that he earned for helping
- 11:13Speaker 1: Live Seattle to a twenty nine to thirteen of victory
- 11:18Speaker 1: over the Patriots at Levi Stadium in Santa Clara, California.
- 11:23Speaker 1: According to reports, Darnold's bill to the Golden State I'm
- 11:28Speaker 1: talking to literally California, will be two hundred and forty
- 11:32Speaker 1: nine thousand dollars. Following Seattle's latest championship, The outlet stated
- 11:39Speaker 1: that the sizable check is due to California's What they
- 11:42Speaker 1: have passed is a quote jock taxes like a jock,
- 11:47Speaker 1: like a jock, like.
- 11:48Speaker 2: Literally, you're an athlete, We're gonna punish you.
- 11:51Speaker 1: It forces pro athletes who don't live in the state
- 11:55Speaker 1: to fork over percentages of their yearly income based on
- 12:00Speaker 1: the number of days they work in California. The days
- 12:04Speaker 1: have been dubbed duty days, and after the Seahawks touched
- 12:08Speaker 1: down in northern California on February the first, Donald and
- 12:13Speaker 1: the rest of his team accumulated not one, not two,
- 12:16Speaker 1: not three, not four, not five, not six, not seven,
- 12:19Speaker 1: but eight days total by playing in the Super Bowl,
- 12:24Speaker 1: say night, because when you land is when they start
- 12:27Speaker 1: the clock. So you get there for all the festivities,
- 12:30Speaker 1: and you get there for the week of the Super Bowl, right,
- 12:32Speaker 1: they charge you for that. The Seahawks are expected to
- 12:36Speaker 1: amass even more in twenty twenty six due to games
- 12:40Speaker 1: they will play in the state next season. On top
- 12:42Speaker 1: of that, their report is saying that those in the
- 12:46Speaker 1: league are furious. Why We'll can go back to Donald
- 12:51Speaker 1: who is in the middle of a three year, one
- 12:53Speaker 1: hundred and five million dollar contract with the Seattle Seahawks.
- 12:56Speaker 1: He will ultimately lose some seventy one thousand dollars for
- 13:02Speaker 1: lifting his first ever Lombardi Trophy.
- 13:05Speaker 2: Now this is insane.
- 13:08Speaker 1: For the next sixty seconds, can you hit pause on
- 13:11Speaker 1: your life and just think about this. Every day, millions
- 13:15Speaker 1: of children face a crushing reality, a constant defeating message
- 13:19Speaker 1: echoes and their empty stomachs and their desperate eyes. It
- 13:22Speaker 1: is that you don't matter. Poverty doesn't just steal food
- 13:26Speaker 1: and shelter. It steals hope, dignity, and the fundamental belief
- 13:30Speaker 1: that they are loved. But there's another message, one of
- 13:33Speaker 1: boundless love and hope. Through Compassion International, you can change
- 13:37Speaker 1: the child's story forever. You can sponsor child just like
- 13:41Speaker 1: I do. You can introduce them to a loving heavenly father.
- 13:44Speaker 1: You can equip them with education, health care and the
- 13:47Speaker 1: support to overcome poverty. This isn't just about one child,
- 13:51Speaker 1: It's about transforming families, revitalizing communities, and changing nations. It's
- 13:56Speaker 1: about proving that every child truly matters. So help give
- 14:01Speaker 1: a child a future, give them hope. Visit compassion dot
- 14:05Speaker 1: com today. That's Compassion dot com. I want you to
- 14:10Speaker 1: hear what the sports talk stations were saying about this.
- 14:13Speaker 2: This is a guy named Boomer.
- 14:15Speaker 1: He has a show on CBS Sports Network, and this
- 14:18Speaker 1: is how he explained the economics to the sports community today.
- 14:22Speaker 7: For winning the Super Bowl, the winning team, each player
- 14:25Speaker 7: gets one hundred and seventy eight thousand dollars. In other words,
- 14:28Speaker 7: the Super Bowl isn't a part of their salary. And
- 14:30Speaker 7: because the game was played in California. In California has
- 14:34Speaker 7: a jock tax and they look at duty days. So
- 14:40Speaker 7: each team spends seven days in the state of California,
- 14:43Speaker 7: so those are seven duty days, and they pierce your
- 14:47Speaker 7: regular salary at three point five percent, So he has
- 14:52Speaker 7: to pay. When you take an account, he got the
- 14:55Speaker 7: one hundred and seventy eight thousand plus his overall salary,
- 15:00Speaker 7: he has to pay the state of California for spending
- 15:02Speaker 7: seven days there two hundred and forty nine thousand dollars.
- 15:07Speaker 2: That's just so stupid believe it.
- 15:11Speaker 7: Ends up costing him seventy one thousand dollars the goal
- 15:15Speaker 7: play in California.
- 15:16Speaker 1: Now, if I'm the NFLPA, by the way, let me
- 15:19Speaker 1: explain to you what the NFLPA is if you don't know.
- 15:22Speaker 1: The NFLPA is the National Football League's Players Association.
- 15:26Speaker 2: All right, that's what the NLPA stands for.
- 15:29Speaker 1: And what you're about to hear Boomer talk about is
- 15:31Speaker 1: if I'm a player, I would do everything I possibly
- 15:36Speaker 1: could do to never play a game in California, and
- 15:39Speaker 1: I would mandate that we never have a super Bowl
- 15:42Speaker 1: there at all, because to go win a super Bowl
- 15:47Speaker 1: and then have to lose money to play in the
- 15:49Speaker 1: Super Bowl is total insanity. And again it's because in
- 15:55Speaker 1: California they have passed the jock. So you're an athlete
- 16:02Speaker 1: and we want to screw you to the point where
- 16:04Speaker 1: when you play in the Super Bowl you actually lose money.
- 16:08Speaker 7: Now, you got to remember it's probably even more than
- 16:10Speaker 7: that because since he's in Seattle, he's playing, he's playing
- 16:14Speaker 7: against San Francisco forty nine ers. That's another day he's there.
- 16:17Speaker 7: And he's playing against the LA Rams, that's another day
- 16:20Speaker 7: he's there. So he's probably had like nine or ten
- 16:22Speaker 7: duty days or maybe even more than that in the
- 16:25Speaker 7: state of California. So if I'm the NFLPA, I'm like, hey,
- 16:29Speaker 7: we're not playing any more super Bowls in you know,
- 16:33Speaker 7: in California.
- 16:33Speaker 2: We're not doing it.
- 16:35Speaker 1: We're just not doing it. Now, you think about this.
- 16:38Speaker 1: If one day, right, you may not care as much. Okay,
- 16:41Speaker 1: you're like, all right, I got two games there, I
- 16:43Speaker 1: got to play, and so that's one day of your
- 16:46Speaker 1: pay in the regular season. But when you have a
- 16:49Speaker 1: Super Bowl, you're there for eight days. And when you're
- 16:53Speaker 1: there for eight days, this is what it costs you
- 16:58Speaker 1: another one put it out there saying it this way.
- 17:01Speaker 1: So let me get this straight. The quarterback who wins
- 17:03Speaker 1: the Super Bowl goes to communists California and loses money
- 17:09Speaker 1: to play in the super Bowl while winning it. What's
- 17:12Speaker 1: even more crazy is that those who lost the game
- 17:16Speaker 1: will actually make more money than the people that won
- 17:20Speaker 1: the game in California. I mean that could be true.
- 17:25Speaker 1: By the way, Like if you lost the game, you
- 17:27Speaker 1: didn't get the bonuses, then there's less reportable income, which
- 17:31Speaker 1: means less of a tax liability, which means you may
- 17:34Speaker 1: actually come out ahead because your bonus is only for
- 17:37Speaker 1: the actual game day, right, The money you make if
- 17:40Speaker 1: you win the super Bowl, that bonus, right is actually.
- 17:46Speaker 2: For that one day.
- 17:47Speaker 1: But they're charging you for eight days of your annual
- 17:52Speaker 1: salary and they break that up. So in other words,
- 17:57Speaker 1: what you're making your lump sum is tax, not just
- 18:01Speaker 1: the bonus of the super Bowl.
- 18:03Speaker 2: That's why you're losing money.
- 18:05Speaker 1: If you really want to get into this, if you're
- 18:09Speaker 1: a player that gets to go to the super Bowl
- 18:12Speaker 1: and you don't make a lot of money, let's say
- 18:13Speaker 1: you're special teams, maybe you're in the league minimum and
- 18:17Speaker 1: you go to the super Bowl.
- 18:18Speaker 2: It's your dream.
- 18:20Speaker 1: You could actually bust a guy up financially over the
- 18:25Speaker 1: eight days of being in California. And the quarterback here
- 18:30Speaker 1: is just the perfect example of this. So I go
- 18:33Speaker 1: back to this other note here because it's really interested, okay,
- 18:35Speaker 1: interesting Here, Dart will receive one hundred and seventy eight
- 18:38Speaker 1: thousand winners bonus, but owes California two hundred and forty
- 18:42Speaker 1: nine thousand in taxes because he was there for eight days.
- 18:45Speaker 1: That means he will owe more than seventy one thousand
- 18:48Speaker 1: dollars for playing in the super Bowl and winning it.
- 18:51Speaker 1: This is what communism, by the way, sounds like in
- 18:55Speaker 1: real life. This is what Marxism and communists and so
- 19:00Speaker 1: us do. They go after people that have money first,
- 19:05Speaker 1: it will trickle down to the people that they say
- 19:07Speaker 1: are safe. And when you do what I mean, I
- 19:10Speaker 1: mean to even have enough people in the legislature to
- 19:14Speaker 1: pass a quote official name jock tax, which imposes the
- 19:19Speaker 1: highest income rate you can on non resident athletes participating
- 19:24Speaker 1: in sporting events. If you want to destroy and I
- 19:29Speaker 1: think part of is California's like, we don't care, Like
- 19:31Speaker 1: we can get away with this because we're California. So
- 19:35Speaker 1: we don't care that there's a little bit of bad
- 19:38Speaker 1: press here because we're going to make a bunch of
- 19:40Speaker 1: money off of them. Again, we don't care. I tell
- 19:43Speaker 1: you this is coming to you soon if you don't
- 19:47Speaker 1: pay attention. Donald Trump called the police about Jeffrey Epstein.
- 19:53Speaker 1: We now are learning in two thousand and six. He
