- 1:41Speaker 4: Have to turn the mouth turn probably got to turn
- 1:44Speaker 4: the mouth turn mouth.
- 1:46Speaker 2: The word of the mony.
- 1:48Speaker 3: Job looking me come come out?
- 1:59Speaker 2: You think that all right?
- 2:01Speaker 1: Huh?
- 2:01Speaker 2: I sure will.
- 2:03Speaker 5: Good morning everybody. You're listening to the voice, come on
- 2:07Speaker 5: dig me now, one and all that Steve Harvey Man
- 2:10Speaker 5: oh Man, got a radio show, yep. Trying to make
- 2:13Speaker 5: it work too. I'm not trying. I'm getting it. I'm
- 2:17Speaker 5: getting it done to the best of my abilities.
- 2:20Speaker 6: Now.
- 2:22Speaker 5: Something funny my father taught me. He said, so when
- 2:26Speaker 5: you've done all you can do, if you've done your
- 2:30Speaker 5: absolute best and you look up and it didn't get
- 2:35Speaker 5: the job done, take a deep breath and do some more.
- 2:42Speaker 5: That used to bug me, man, when my father used
- 2:45Speaker 5: to tell me.
- 2:45Speaker 2: That is the son.
- 2:46Speaker 5: When you've done your absolute best and you think you
- 2:49Speaker 5: can't do no more. You've done all you can and
- 2:53Speaker 5: it still don't get the job done. Take yourself a
- 2:57Speaker 5: deep breath, do some more. And you know what I
- 3:03Speaker 5: found that has worked every single time, every single time,
- 3:10Speaker 5: because what my father knew was that what you think
- 3:16Speaker 5: is your breaking point or what you think is your
- 3:19Speaker 5: all in all, he says, son, it's just something about it. Man,
- 3:24Speaker 5: if you just gather yourself, you got a little bit more.
- 3:29Speaker 5: Everybody got some more. And you know, I gotta be
- 3:35Speaker 5: honest with you. It has worked. It has helped me greatly,
- 3:39Speaker 5: and you know it, everybody does have some more.
- 3:43Speaker 6: You know.
- 3:43Speaker 5: I tell that to my sons all the time. Dad,
- 3:46Speaker 5: I did my best. Well to mans you something else?
- 3:49Speaker 5: Could you have done anything else? Could you have studied
- 3:51Speaker 5: a little harder, Could you have shown up a little
- 3:54Speaker 5: bit earlier, could you stayed a.
- 3:56Speaker 2: Little bit later?
- 3:59Speaker 5: Yeah, well then okay, that's what you should have done.
- 4:02Speaker 5: Then see, there's always a way. But if you're going
- 4:05Speaker 5: to create excuses, if you're gonna make them up all
- 4:09Speaker 5: the time about why you don't get it done, I
- 4:12Speaker 5: have a very, very sad a statement for you right now.
- 4:18Speaker 5: You're never gonna get anything done. You're never gonna get
- 4:21Speaker 5: to the top.
- 4:22Speaker 2: Not to the top.
- 4:23Speaker 5: You can get halfway up. Now, you can get a
- 4:26Speaker 5: third of the whe up. You can get three quarters
- 4:28Speaker 5: of the whaleup. But if you don't have that little
- 4:32Speaker 5: extra reserve in you, you're not getting to the top.
- 4:36Speaker 5: The top is only reserved for those that have the
- 4:39Speaker 5: wherewithal and the power to desire, the drive and the
- 4:46Speaker 5: gut riching effort to get to the top.
- 4:50Speaker 2: The top is reserved only for the top. It's just
- 4:53Speaker 2: the top. There ain't but one top, then the middle done,
- 4:56Speaker 2: ain't it?
- 4:57Speaker 6: You know?
- 4:57Speaker 5: The top, the top of the mountain. It's a different
- 5:01Speaker 5: view at the top. Things look different from up top.
- 5:05Speaker 5: So if you want to get to the top of
- 5:06Speaker 5: whatever your profession, your field, your career, whatever it is,
- 5:14Speaker 5: you got to do extra.
- 5:16Speaker 2: You have to do more. More is expected of you. More,
- 5:21Speaker 2: but his is what's really crazy. More is required of you.
- 5:26Speaker 2: Don't live your life in a laxadaisical state.
- 5:30Speaker 5: Don't wake up every day with the feeling of, well,
- 5:33Speaker 5: you know, whatever happens happens, na man have a say
- 5:37Speaker 5: so in your life.
- 5:38Speaker 6: You.
- 5:39Speaker 2: First of all, let me ask you something. Who has God?
- 5:44Speaker 2: Name the person? How that God has given authority over you?
- 5:49Speaker 2: Name the person?
- 5:51Speaker 5: But who is the person? Nobody has domain over you?
- 5:54Speaker 5: God didn't create that person, So what you sitting here for? Man,
- 5:59Speaker 5: what do you sit here for? Letting people who do
- 6:03Speaker 5: not know direct your path? Why are you worried about
- 6:07Speaker 5: all these people with what they got to say about
- 6:09Speaker 5: you and all these people with what they got to
- 6:12Speaker 5: think about you? When here's the news flash, they don't
- 6:15Speaker 5: know either. All these people that you overly concerned about,
- 6:21Speaker 5: all these people that you go into.
- 6:24Speaker 2: These answers for, they need answers to stop. What are
- 6:30Speaker 2: you doing here? Gather yourself for a minute. Here is
- 6:34Speaker 2: a solution to all of that.
- 6:36Speaker 5: You have one source that will be there for you
- 6:40Speaker 5: to the end of time, and that is your relationship
- 6:44Speaker 5: with God. That is the one thing that's solid and
- 6:47Speaker 5: for show. He's behind the wall. He's in your jail cell.
- 6:52Speaker 5: He rides with you in the police car. He's with
- 6:55Speaker 5: you on your job up ato school. He's down there
- 6:57Speaker 5: in the board meetings with you, goes with you when
- 7:00Speaker 5: you travel on plains. He says with you when you're
- 7:03Speaker 5: in a relationship. He helps you with your parenting skills.
- 7:08Speaker 5: He helps you. He's there to assist you. He show
- 7:10Speaker 5: if you do the right things, he show you and
- 7:12Speaker 5: guide you to your next job. When you lose your
- 7:15Speaker 5: job and you think it's a rap. There's some good
- 7:18Speaker 5: behind him. Man, God is always working on your behalf.
- 7:22Speaker 5: To those that believe, you, just gotta believe. He don't
- 7:24Speaker 5: ask you for nothing else. Believe in me.
- 7:27Speaker 2: That's all He asks you to do. What you're tripping for.
- 7:30Speaker 5: Man, And then when you make the decision to believe
- 7:33Speaker 5: in him, and it comes out your mouth from time
- 7:36Speaker 5: to time somewhere what you're worried about, what people say,
- 7:39Speaker 5: What you're worried about, what they think for?
- 7:41Speaker 2: Why who are they?
- 7:42Speaker 5: They need God to you telling them you found something
- 7:46Speaker 5: new that you're gonna give this a shot right here now.
- 7:49Speaker 5: They got some yang yin yang and some yak ofy
- 7:51Speaker 5: yakh to say about that when they need God too.
- 7:55Speaker 2: That's what amazes me, man about people sit up in here, man,
- 7:58Speaker 2: be knocking your dreaming.
- 8:00Speaker 5: Look, if you're an atheist, man, do your thing, do
- 8:03Speaker 5: your thing. But you can't create no laws, well I
- 8:05Speaker 5: can't do mine.
- 8:07Speaker 2: That don't make no sense, man, that makes no sense
- 8:10Speaker 2: at all to me. You have the right to go
- 8:13Speaker 2: be whatever you want to be.
- 8:15Speaker 5: You know, if you don't, you don't like the fact
- 8:17Speaker 5: that I'm in school, got my head bowed down, and
- 8:20Speaker 5: I'm saying a prayer for I take this test.
- 8:22Speaker 2: Just don't buy your head.
- 8:23Speaker 5: Don't you pray. But if some kids want to get together,
- 8:26Speaker 5: that's some crazy mess. That's what happened in our schools.
- 8:29Speaker 5: We took prayer out of schools, and now look at
- 8:31Speaker 5: our schools. You send your child to school and someone
- 8:36Speaker 5: else comes back home. That's a whole nother thing right here.
- 8:41Speaker 5: That's not what I want to talk to you about.
- 8:43Speaker 5: But I was just throwing it out because you know, hey, man,
- 8:46Speaker 5: your relationship with God is essential to your success as
- 8:49Speaker 5: a person. It's essential to your existence. It's essential to
- 8:53Speaker 5: where you're trying to go and what you're trying to be.
- 8:55Speaker 5: Because He made you. Why would you not talk to
- 8:59Speaker 5: the person and that made you to find out what
- 9:01Speaker 5: he created you for. I ain't talking about your parents,
- 9:05Speaker 5: who made your parents. This is God, we created in
- 9:09Speaker 5: his image. Why would you not talk to your maker
- 9:13Speaker 5: to see why you got made? That don't make sense
- 9:17Speaker 5: to you. If you're sitting and gotten yourself in a situation.
- 9:21Speaker 5: You sitting in the jail cell somewhere, you locked up,
- 9:24Speaker 5: you doing some time, man, be a good time for
- 9:27Speaker 5: you to reflect but whatever your situation is, Man, God
- 9:31Speaker 5: can get you through it. He can give you the strength,
- 9:33Speaker 5: the courage to wherewith all the understanding everything you need,
- 9:38Speaker 5: the wisdom to get you through anything you're going through.
- 9:40Speaker 5: You just got a touch base with him. I need
- 9:44Speaker 5: God every single day of my life. And what He's
- 9:50Speaker 5: done for me man off the chain. But guess what
- 9:55Speaker 5: He'll do.
- 9:55Speaker 2: The same thing for you.
- 9:56Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 10:04Speaker 2: Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, please gather around from
- 10:07Speaker 2: around the world.
- 10:09Speaker 5: This is the show you've all been waiting for. This
- 10:12Speaker 5: is the day that the Lord has made. Let us
- 10:14Speaker 5: rejoice and be glad in it. What are you looking for?
- 10:18Speaker 5: I'm expecting great things today. I expect God to bless me.
- 10:22Speaker 5: I expect God to rescue me. I expect God to
- 10:25Speaker 5: deliver me. I expect God to heal me. I expect
- 10:29Speaker 5: great things from God. What you send out of your
- 10:34Speaker 5: brain and your mouth is the equivalent to a remote control.
- 10:38Speaker 5: It's even more powerful than that, but it's equivalent to
- 10:41Speaker 5: a remote control, and that's what will be on your
- 10:44Speaker 5: TV screen of life.
- 10:46Speaker 2: Please be conscious of what you say today.
- 10:48Speaker 5: This is the Steve Harvey Marny Show, It's what it is,
- 10:52Speaker 5: Sherley's not very color for real, Mississippi Monica, the Comeback
- 10:57Speaker 5: Kid Junior, and the Legend of Nephew Tommy Jr.
- 11:01Speaker 2: Well, what's on your mind today?
- 11:03Speaker 7: Boss?
- 11:04Speaker 8: Let me talk to you.
- 11:05Speaker 2: Let me ask you this.
- 11:06Speaker 8: What's three things we should know as black men by
- 11:09Speaker 8: the time we forty.
- 11:12Speaker 5: That appreciation will be lacking at times, but please continue
- 11:20Speaker 5: to perform.
- 11:21Speaker 6: Well.
- 11:23Speaker 2: The next thing you know is it's hard. You need
- 11:27Speaker 2: to understand that it is hard, and that's just it.
- 11:33Speaker 5: And third thing you need to know by the time
- 11:36Speaker 5: you forty is you need to have your foot completely
- 11:41Speaker 5: and fully on that gas pedal because you can't let up.
- 11:47Speaker 5: You got to have your foot on that gas pedal.
- 11:48Speaker 5: Those are the three things I recommend by the time
- 11:52Speaker 5: you're forty. Really you need to know that by twenty.
- 11:56Speaker 5: But I'm telling you just you ought to have locked
- 11:58Speaker 5: in before you have a clear understanding of that. Bout
- 12:01Speaker 5: forty that its hard. It's not going to be easy.
- 12:04Speaker 6: You know.
- 12:05Speaker 5: No, there is no free free route, ain't no free lunch.
- 12:10Speaker 5: Everything cost all good money ain't good money. All money
- 12:16Speaker 5: ain't good money. That's what I'm meant to say, all
- 12:19Speaker 5: money ain't good money, fast money. God, it comes with
- 12:22Speaker 5: a penalty, a costly penalty. Or watch who you hang
- 12:28Speaker 5: out with. Be very very conscious of your association, because
- 12:33Speaker 5: at forty you're running out of high level mistakes that
- 12:36Speaker 5: you can make, so you can make you get three
- 12:39Speaker 5: high level mistakes in your life. At forty you used
- 12:43Speaker 5: up two of them, just telling you right now, used
- 12:46Speaker 5: up two, and you don't get to do three after forty.
- 12:49Speaker 5: You don't get three big, huge mistakes after forty. So
- 12:53Speaker 5: just know if you haven't used them, you still only
- 12:57Speaker 5: got one more.
- 13:01Speaker 2: They don't care over, they don't carry over.
- 13:06Speaker 5: No, they don't care if you ain't use them. Bout
- 13:09Speaker 5: forty you got one moment.
- 13:11Speaker 2: Wow, that's.
- 13:16Speaker 9: Pretty much it.
- 13:17Speaker 1: All right, all right, thank you guys. Coming up at
- 13:25Speaker 1: thirty two minutes after the hour, guys, we will run

- 39:00Speaker 5: And imagine how effective it is to help a person
- 39:04Speaker 5: get over a hurdle. It's just effective. You have no
- 39:08Speaker 5: idea how effective it is to take a moment out
- 39:11Speaker 5: of your day, your week, your month to sit down
- 39:14Speaker 5: and share critical information. These young people just need a
- 39:20Speaker 5: few gems, a few pearls of wisdom to get them
- 39:25Speaker 5: over the next hurdle. Man, And you only get that
- 39:28Speaker 5: through experience. And it's just wonderful to be a part
- 39:31Speaker 5: of that and watch young people take it who appreciate it. Now,
- 39:34Speaker 5: you can't help everybody, now, please understand. You cannot help everybody. Yeah,
- 39:41Speaker 5: just take the ones that want it.
- 39:44Speaker 1: Okay, you've experienced that where you've tried to help someone.

- 39:53Speaker 5: this little dude man has so much talent and he
- 39:56Speaker 5: would not listen. He would not listen, and I told
- 40:02Speaker 5: him this young man is in jail today and I
- 40:07Speaker 5: hold him and just just the wrong place at the
- 40:11Speaker 5: wrong time.
- 40:13Speaker 1: Wow, wow, Wow, man, he just didn't you try.
- 40:20Speaker 5: Hey man, You association brings on participation. You listen, you
- 40:24Speaker 5: can't be a college student and a thug.

- 40:37Speaker 5: on from your neighborhood. Keep moving, don't keep it real,
- 40:41Speaker 5: keep it moving. And his wanting to prove to them
- 40:45Speaker 5: that he had not changed. He kept association, kept associating
- 40:50Speaker 5: with him. And that's why graduating what you're doing with
- 40:56Speaker 5: these boys. Oh, mister Harvey, they cool, man, But you
- 40:59Speaker 5: know I got to keep it real with him.
- 41:00Speaker 11: Now.

- 56:47Speaker 1: Thank you nephew, subject his past life is affecting my life.
- 56:51Speaker 1: Dear Stephen Shirley, I've been married for almost two years,
- 56:54Speaker 1: and things got really weird in my marriage four months ago.
- 56:58Speaker 1: It's like someone flipped a switch in my husband's brain
- 57:01Speaker 1: and told him that he should keep an eye on me.
- 57:03Speaker 1: When I met him, he was damaged from a polyamorous relationship.
- 57:07Speaker 1: He lived with two women that were both his girlfriends.
- 57:11Speaker 1: They all slept in the same bed, and he got
- 57:13Speaker 1: tired of the arrangement after one of the ladies started
- 57:16Speaker 1: seeing another man. He wanted to be the only king
- 57:19Speaker 1: with two women. He went and got saved after that relationship,
- 57:23Speaker 1: and now he goes to church. I gave him grace
- 57:26Speaker 1: when I met him, and made sure he knew that
- 57:28Speaker 1: I'm a solid chick with no desire to bring anyone
- 57:32Speaker 1: else in our bedroom. I also let him know that
- 57:35Speaker 1: I did have a life before we met, and I
- 57:37Speaker 1: have male friends that I talked to sometimes.
- 57:40Speaker 9: He was cool with it at first.
- 57:43Speaker 1: Over the Christmas holidays, we were organizing our basement and
- 57:47Speaker 1: I pulled out a photo album to put in my
- 57:49Speaker 1: office upstairs.
- 57:51Speaker 9: I didn't think anything about it. I didn't think anything
- 57:53Speaker 9: of it.
- 57:54Speaker 1: Days later, my husband went through my book and commented
- 57:58Speaker 1: that I was hugged up with a lot a lot
- 58:00Speaker 1: of men and they had their hands on my body.
- 58:03Speaker 1: I rolled my eyes and thought it was cute that
- 58:05Speaker 1: he was jealous. After that day, it's been very interesting
- 58:09Speaker 1: around the house. One time he took my cell phone
- 58:12Speaker 1: to the store with him and claimed he didn't realize
- 58:14Speaker 1: he grabbed it. He also has started facetiming me whenever
- 58:18Speaker 1: I'm out by myself or hanging out with my girlfriends.
- 58:21Speaker 1: I can tell that he searched my car because he
- 58:25Speaker 1: didn't put things back the way I had them. His
- 58:28Speaker 1: insecurities have crept back in. Do I have to play
- 58:32Speaker 1: along to assure him that I'm not doing anything? Or
- 58:35Speaker 1: should I confront him, confront this head on and call
- 58:39Speaker 1: him out. Well, I'm saying, what are you waiting on? Okay,
- 58:44Speaker 1: he's very jealous, He's very insecure. You guys have to
- 58:47Speaker 1: talk about this like now. I mean, he's mad because
- 58:51Speaker 1: of his past polyamorous lifestyle and projecting his anger onto you.
- 58:56Speaker 1: You haven't even given him a reason not to trust you,
- 58:58Speaker 1: but he's still suspectbitious What proof does he have some
- 59:02Speaker 1: pictures of you from back in the day, The fact
- 59:05Speaker 1: that you still have male friends. Is no longer okay
- 59:09Speaker 1: with him, even though he was cool with it at first,
- 59:12Speaker 1: although he said it he was okay with it initially,
- 59:16Speaker 1: but things have changed of late. The bottom line is
- 59:19Speaker 1: you're not cheating, and if your husband can't get over it,
- 59:23Speaker 1: now would be a good time to go see a
- 59:25Speaker 1: marriage counselor and get some therapy because what he did
- 59:28Speaker 1: in his past life has nothing to do with you, Steve.
- 59:34Speaker 5: Don't you know the subject is his past life has
- 59:39Speaker 5: affected my life. I just think y'all have just I
- 59:44Speaker 5: think it's some of both of y'all. And you know,
- 59:47Speaker 5: I understand how the lady don't see nothing wrong in
- 59:50Speaker 5: what she doing, but a couple of problems. Now you've
- 59:54Speaker 5: been married almost two years and stuff got weird about
- 59:57Speaker 5: four months ago.
- 1:00:00Speaker 6: You know.
- 1:00:01Speaker 5: Now you think your husband, for some reason you don't
- 1:00:05Speaker 5: understand why, has all of a sudden started keeping an
- 1:00:08Speaker 5: eye on you. Then you said he was damaged from
- 1:00:13Speaker 5: a amorice polyamorous relationship. He lived with two women that
- 1:00:21Speaker 5: were both his girlfriends, and they slept in the same bed,
- 1:00:25Speaker 5: and then he got tired of that after one of
- 1:00:27Speaker 5: the ladies started seeing another man. He wanted to be
- 1:00:29Speaker 5: the only king with two women. He got damaged from that.
- 1:00:34Speaker 5: And your assumption is because he went and he went
- 1:00:38Speaker 5: and got saved after that relationship, and now he goes
- 1:00:41Speaker 5: to church, you think it was because of that. See,
- 1:00:48Speaker 5: her assessment is a little bit off. And then here's
- 1:00:50Speaker 5: another thing too. I want to point out y'all. People
- 1:00:54Speaker 5: seem to think that once you get saved and you
- 1:00:58Speaker 5: go to church that you're no longer a sinner. That's
- 1:01:05Speaker 5: not the truth of it. You know, you hear old
- 1:01:10Speaker 5: people say we are all sinners saved by grace. That
- 1:01:15Speaker 5: just means you've been forgiven and you've accepted Christ in
- 1:01:19Speaker 5: your life. That's what it means to be saved. And
- 1:01:22Speaker 5: now you think because he go to church now and
- 1:01:27Speaker 5: all of a sudden he healed. Well, that's not how
- 1:01:31Speaker 5: this works, y'all.
- 1:01:33Speaker 2: The church is full of people doing sins, just like
- 1:01:38Speaker 2: the club is full of people doing sins.
- 1:01:42Speaker 5: People are always look, it's church is full of that.
- 1:01:46Speaker 5: The white house is full of it. It's just a
- 1:01:49Speaker 5: lot of that. So stop thinking because all of a
- 1:01:52Speaker 5: sudden he gets saved and he go to church, he
- 1:01:57Speaker 5: gonna be this new person. Well, you do get wash
- 1:02:00Speaker 5: white is snowing. You get to start all over again.
- 1:02:03Speaker 5: You get your sins white, but but you gonna make
- 1:02:06Speaker 5: some new ones, Okay. And now anyway, y'all, you gave
- 1:02:14Speaker 5: him grace when you met him and told him you
- 1:02:17Speaker 5: was a solid chicken. You didn't want to bring nobody
- 1:02:19Speaker 5: else in your bedroom and all this here, But then
- 1:02:23Speaker 5: here comes the announcement that you had a life before
- 1:02:26Speaker 5: we met, and you got male friends that I talked
- 1:02:29Speaker 5: to sometime. This always creates a problem. I don't know
- 1:02:34Speaker 5: why y'all don't see that, but it all ways creates
- 1:02:39Speaker 5: a problem. And now we're gonna find Now you say
- 1:02:43Speaker 5: he was cool with it at first, Okay, that's what
- 1:02:46Speaker 5: he told you. That's what he told you. Where you
- 1:02:50Speaker 5: about to find out how cool he was with him?
- 1:02:56Speaker 5: So were about to get into this when we come back.
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: On part two of your response coming up to STEVI
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: at twenty three minutes after the hour Today's Strawberry letter
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: subject his past life is affecting my life. We'll get
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: back into it right after this. You're listening Steam Harvey
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: Morning Show.
- 1:03:20Speaker 14: Do you ever notice your floors still look dirty even
- 1:03:22Speaker 14: after you mop? Power?
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: Mop gives you a deeper, clean you can see and feel.
- 1:03:27Speaker 14: Unlike stream mops, Swift for Power Mop absorbs more dirt

- 1:03:46Speaker 14: for Power Mop. Love it or your money back?
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: All right, Come on, Steve, let's recap today's strawberry letter.
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: The subject is his past life is affecting my life.
- 1:03:56Speaker 2: Yeah, she said, his past life is affected life. But
- 1:04:00Speaker 2: your your past life is affecting it too.
- 1:04:04Speaker 5: And anyway, Uh, he used to be he's damaged, you say,
- 1:04:12Speaker 5: because now he's got a check on everything you do.
- 1:04:14Speaker 5: Because he's damaged from a previous relationship. He was in
- 1:04:17Speaker 5: a uh say say it again, he was in a
- 1:04:21Speaker 5: polyamorous relationship. The reason I can't pronounce that word is
- 1:04:24Speaker 5: because I ain't never done it. I did some one time,
- 1:04:28Speaker 5: and it shattered me. It didn't it didn't damage me,
- 1:04:31Speaker 5: It shattered meg.
- 1:04:36Speaker 2: Yeah, that was a crazy I ain't. I ain't even
- 1:04:38Speaker 2: know what I was.
- 1:04:39Speaker 5: That's not who does nothing me that that didn't turn
- 1:04:45Speaker 5: into a habit because I clearly who did not know
- 1:04:48Speaker 5: what I was doing this?
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: I was confused sleep.
- 1:04:53Speaker 2: That night I set up. Oh man, you know what
- 1:04:57Speaker 2: did I do? I failed? Nobody came be happy here
- 1:05:00Speaker 2: I could. Well, you know I failed, Like I failed.
- 1:05:07Speaker 9: I failed failed.
- 1:05:09Speaker 2: You fail failed. Anyway, he lived with these two women.
- 1:05:12Speaker 2: They both be as girlfriends.
- 1:05:14Speaker 5: They slept in the same bed, and one he got
- 1:05:16Speaker 5: tired of arrangement because one of them started seeing another
- 1:05:18Speaker 5: guy and he wanted to be the only king with
- 1:05:21Speaker 5: two women. So then after that he went and got
- 1:05:24Speaker 5: saved after that relationship, and now he go to church.
- 1:05:27Speaker 5: I will remind you that because a person goes to
- 1:05:30Speaker 5: church and get saved does not mean he no longer sins.
- 1:05:34Speaker 5: That's a misconception of what getting saved means. You are
- 1:05:39Speaker 5: forgiven for your sins, if you've accepted Christ as your
- 1:05:42Speaker 5: Lord and savior. That's what it means to be saved.
- 1:05:46Speaker 5: I'm pretty sure some pastor listening to this can add
- 1:05:49Speaker 5: some mold to it. That's his job, that ain't mine.
- 1:05:53Speaker 5: This is a scriptural aut Bible, this is the Strawberry Letter.
- 1:05:57Speaker 5: So just let me move home out of my red expertise.
- 1:06:01Speaker 5: But I do know that you are still a center
- 1:06:05Speaker 5: even though you saved and you go to church that
- 1:06:07Speaker 5: I know for shel So now you said that you
- 1:06:12Speaker 5: know y'all when he got saved, and after that all right,
- 1:06:14Speaker 5: so cool, and you told him you was a solid chicken.
- 1:06:17Speaker 5: You didn't have no desire to bring nobody else in
- 1:06:19Speaker 5: y'all's bedroom. And then y' also let him know that
- 1:06:21Speaker 5: you let him have a life. Did you let him
- 1:06:23Speaker 5: know that you had a life before we met too,
- 1:06:25Speaker 5: and you got male friends that I talked to sometimes.
- 1:06:28Speaker 5: He was cool with it at first. No, we ain't
- 1:06:31Speaker 5: ever cool with it. We don't like you having friends.
- 1:06:34Speaker 5: You ain't gonna like us having friends. Married people don't
- 1:06:37Speaker 5: like the other person's friends. You confront and play it
- 1:06:40Speaker 5: like you do if you want to, but that is
- 1:06:43Speaker 5: not the case. Over the Christmas holidays, I was organized
- 1:06:47Speaker 5: in our basement and I pulled out a photo album
- 1:06:50Speaker 5: to put in my office.
- 1:06:51Speaker 2: I ain't thank them of it.
- 1:06:53Speaker 5: A few days later, your husband went through the book
- 1:06:55Speaker 5: and commented that you was all hugged up on a
- 1:06:58Speaker 5: whole lot of other men, and they had their hands
- 1:07:01Speaker 5: on your body.
- 1:07:02Speaker 2: I rolled my eyes, and I thought it was cute.
- 1:07:04Speaker 5: That he was jealous. Okay, okay, let me tell you
- 1:07:07Speaker 5: what jealousy ain't cute. Jealousy is not cute. Prisons is
- 1:07:12Speaker 5: full of jealous people. Jealousy is not cute. After that day,
- 1:07:18Speaker 5: it's been interesting around the house because one time he
- 1:07:21Speaker 5: took my cell phone to the store with him and
- 1:07:25Speaker 5: claimed he didn't realize he grabbed me. He also started
- 1:07:28Speaker 5: facetiming me whenever by myself, I hanging with my girlfriends. Yeah,
- 1:07:33Speaker 5: because you done told him you got a whole lot
- 1:07:34Speaker 5: of male friends. You did that, and you still talk
- 1:07:39Speaker 5: to him. So now he trying to figure out what
- 1:07:42Speaker 5: y'all talking about. And if you out with your girlfriends,
- 1:07:46Speaker 5: are some of your male friends with y'all? Yeah, see
- 1:07:49Speaker 5: that's what that is. I can tell that he's searched
- 1:07:53Speaker 5: my car because he didn't put things back the way
- 1:07:56Speaker 5: I had with him.
- 1:07:57Speaker 2: See, he did that search wrong.
- 1:08:00Speaker 5: If you're gonna search your woman's car, you got to
- 1:08:02Speaker 5: tag up real good and leave it like that and
- 1:08:04Speaker 5: make it look like it was a break in.
- 1:08:06Speaker 2: You have to change your tactic. Dog, Yeah, leave the car,
- 1:08:11Speaker 2: make it look like it was a break in. You know,
- 1:08:16Speaker 2: do I have to play.
- 1:08:17Speaker 5: Along to assure him. His insecurities have crept back in.
- 1:08:20Speaker 5: Do I have to play along to assure him that
- 1:08:23Speaker 5: I'm not doing anything? Or should I confront this head
- 1:08:26Speaker 5: on and call him out. You could do it either
- 1:08:29Speaker 5: way you want to. It's not gonna stop him feeling.
- 1:08:31Speaker 5: If you call him out on it, he gonna thank
- 1:08:34Speaker 5: you acting suspicious what you got to hide? If you
- 1:08:38Speaker 5: don't mention it, it's going to continue. But he gonna
- 1:08:43Speaker 5: want to know something about these male friends. Now, he's
- 1:08:48Speaker 5: suspicious of you, but you didn't put anywhere in this
- 1:08:51Speaker 5: letter that you were suspicious of him. So I'm assuming
- 1:08:57Speaker 5: that to him, going to church has worked in regard,
- 1:09:01Speaker 5: but his suspicion of you was not affected by the church.
- 1:09:06Speaker 2: So now that's what I think is going on. You're
- 1:09:09Speaker 2: suspicious of him, you're not suspicious of him, but he
- 1:09:14Speaker 2: is suspicious of you because of the photo albums and
- 1:09:17Speaker 2: the pictures and people's hands on your body, and you
- 1:09:19Speaker 2: didn't say nothing to reassure him. You just said I
- 1:09:22Speaker 2: told him I was a solid chick, but you didn't
- 1:09:24Speaker 2: look solid in the photo album qu sharing your past
- 1:09:29Speaker 2: with men and men, quit sharing your past with women.
- 1:09:34Speaker 5: She didn't have to know nothing about these two chicks
- 1:09:37Speaker 5: in this bed. You could have just took that to
- 1:09:40Speaker 5: the grave. Shut show the mouth. Everybody listen to me.
- 1:09:47Speaker 2: Shut up.
- 1:09:51Speaker 1: That's the lesson, all right. Post your comments on today's

- 1:13:17Speaker 2: He's in Washington, so you should be pulling for the
- 1:13:20Speaker 2: Washington WI good hell bad hair?
- 1:13:23Speaker 8: Why you're talking about now?
- 1:13:24Speaker 2: You Trey Young losing his hair too?
- 1:13:28Speaker 1: Anyway? Talking about.
- 1:13:31Speaker 5: You know, I should be pulling for Philly, for Joel
- 1:13:34Speaker 5: on b because he got big lips. You see what
- 1:13:36Speaker 5: I'm saying.
- 1:13:37Speaker 6: That you.
- 1:13:39Speaker 2: Have to root for the team. Yes, I'm so pious
- 1:13:41Speaker 2: for whoever got your who got physical trading?
- 1:13:47Speaker 12: Okaypers tonight as well, go ahead and sure.
- 1:13:54Speaker 1: Thank you. Coming up at the top of the hour,
- 1:13:57Speaker 1: a woman on social media needs some advice. She says,
- 1:13:59Speaker 1: am I liable for my neighbor's dog. We'll talk about
- 1:14:02Speaker 1: it right after this. You're listening to the Steve Harvey
- 1:14:06Speaker 1: Morning Show. This is from Bobby on Steve HARBFM. Bobby says,
- 1:14:14Speaker 1: my neighbor has decided that her new dog is at
- 1:14:17Speaker 1: her best when she's allowed to run free. Athena has
- 1:14:21Speaker 1: become attracted to the woods behind my house, and my
- 1:14:24Speaker 1: neighbor seems to have no interest in squashing the behavior
- 1:14:28Speaker 1: because she really seems to like it. The woods are
- 1:14:31Speaker 1: on my property, but there's a lot of acreage that
- 1:14:34Speaker 1: hunters occasionally roam, and there have been animal traps that
- 1:14:38Speaker 1: have been accidentally discovered after being forgotten about by those
- 1:14:41Speaker 1: who've placed them there. If something happens to this dog
- 1:14:45Speaker 1: on my property, am I liable? That's what Bobby wants
- 1:14:49Speaker 1: to know.
- 1:14:50Speaker 5: No, because see, you're probably gonna be the one to
- 1:14:52Speaker 5: find a dog sooner to be on your property, so
- 1:14:55Speaker 5: you're not gonna be liable. You're not liable because you'll
- 1:14:59Speaker 5: probably be the one that finds the dog since it's
- 1:15:02Speaker 5: on your property.
- 1:15:05Speaker 9: So he won't be liable. Bobby won't be liable.
- 1:15:09Speaker 2: Man, Just get some leave, cover the dog up, going
- 1:15:11Speaker 2: about your business.
- 1:15:14Speaker 1: Okay, I know I've asked you to repeat stuff could
- 1:15:17Speaker 1: but you just repeat that last line.
- 1:15:19Speaker 5: Here's the trouble you're gonna run into. Because I see
- 1:15:22Speaker 5: it right now. I believe you trying to be herm
- 1:15:25Speaker 5: and helpful. And now you're gonna take the dog out
- 1:15:28Speaker 5: the trap. He has deceased from being out there in
- 1:15:31Speaker 5: the trap, and you're gonna carry the little dog over there,
- 1:15:33Speaker 5: dead to the owner. You're gonna take Athena over there
- 1:15:40Speaker 5: right there. That dog ain't got no business in no woods.
- 1:15:43Speaker 5: Name Athena felony rospol team. They can go in the
- 1:15:51Speaker 5: woods Athena. Athena is a house dog. Now Athena that
- 1:15:56Speaker 5: ran out there, stepped in the trap, and died in
- 1:15:59Speaker 5: the woods. You're gonna untrap the dog and take the
- 1:16:02Speaker 5: dog back as a loving, caring, all considerate neighbor. Now
- 1:16:08Speaker 5: you're finna get sued for killing a dog.
- 1:16:10Speaker 9: Oh, that's what he wants to know.
- 1:16:12Speaker 1: Will he be liable?
- 1:16:13Speaker 9: Yeah?
- 1:16:14Speaker 2: Now why would you be liable? Leave the dog? Listen
- 1:16:17Speaker 2: to me, if the dog is on your land and deceased, yes,
- 1:16:25Speaker 2: let them put up the posters and go through all
- 1:16:27Speaker 2: the emotions. And you act concern too.
- 1:16:31Speaker 6: But you know.
- 1:16:34Speaker 1: In your heart.
- 1:16:37Speaker 2: You know nothing dog. You know he's not coming back.
- 1:16:43Speaker 9: But what if she asks him? What if she says,
- 1:16:45Speaker 9: have you seen my dog? Do you know what happened?
- 1:16:48Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 1:16:48Speaker 9: A sina right, No, help him?
- 1:16:55Speaker 2: Look for the dog too, dog. I'm out there.
- 1:16:58Speaker 9: Hey, I got with the search test, the search party.
- 1:17:03Speaker 2: I'm out there with my hands on the hip looking
- 1:17:05Speaker 2: at the overhead map. Everything. We got a conference with you.
- 1:17:11Speaker 1: Oh man, you're the worst.
- 1:17:15Speaker 2: And learning learning her bark and everything.
- 1:17:25Speaker 1: You're terrible. Well, you won't be liable if you do
- 1:17:28Speaker 1: it that way.
- 1:17:29Speaker 5: But yeah, you know what I'm not finna do is
- 1:17:32Speaker 5: be into this lawsuit and all this here over this
- 1:17:34Speaker 5: dollar man. This dog is out here, and that bob
- 1:17:37Speaker 5: caps and that's just I saw it and took him
- 1:17:39Speaker 5: up in the tree and that's it.
- 1:17:40Speaker 2: And I ain't gone. I'm not gonna show you where
- 1:17:43Speaker 2: he had in the tree and all this here.
- 1:17:47Speaker 1: Okay, there you go, all right, we have time for
- 1:17:51Speaker 1: another one. This is from d on Steve Harvey fm
- 1:17:55Speaker 1: D says, I've been at my job for four years
- 1:17:57Speaker 1: and built a solid reputation that someone depends who pulls
- 1:18:00Speaker 1: their weight. But recently a new supervisor came in to
- 1:18:05Speaker 1: replace someone I'd worked well with for years, and within
- 1:18:08Speaker 1: the first week he accused me of stealing. I was
- 1:18:10Speaker 1: able to prove petty pretty quickly that I didn't do
- 1:18:14Speaker 1: anything wrong, but the whole thing left.
- 1:18:16Speaker 9: A bad taste in my mouth.
- 1:18:17Speaker 1: Now I have to report to this guy like nothing happened,
- 1:18:20Speaker 1: and it's hard to feel not to feel disrespected. I
- 1:18:24Speaker 1: know I could find another job, but part of me
- 1:18:26Speaker 1: feels like leaving would be letting him win. After making
- 1:18:30Speaker 1: a baseless accusation against me. What do you guys think,
- 1:18:33Speaker 1: Should I stay or go?
- 1:18:35Speaker 2: Should he?
- 1:18:35Speaker 14: Yeah?
- 1:18:36Speaker 2: I'll stay. I'll stay and then I'll steal something because.
- 1:18:41Speaker 9: Since your name has been cleared and they.
- 1:18:43Speaker 1: Don't expect you are.
- 1:18:47Speaker 6: All right.
- 1:18:48Speaker 9: Thank you, guys.
- 1:18:49Speaker 1: We'll have more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show coming
- 1:18:51Speaker 1: up at twenty minutes after. Right after this, you're listening
- 1:18:55Speaker 1: to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. We all need our
- 1:19:02Speaker 1: alone time. We all do, and that's even on vacation. Guys.
- 1:19:06Speaker 1: The new survey found that seventy three percent of people
- 1:19:09Speaker 1: still want their alone time even on vacation. The study
- 1:19:14Speaker 1: found that the average traveler wants about two hours, just
- 1:19:17Speaker 1: two hours of alone time every single day on vacation,
- 1:19:22Speaker 1: not because they don't like their travel companions, but because,
- 1:19:25Speaker 1: as one expert put it, a little personal space goes
- 1:19:28Speaker 1: a long way. In fact, seventy seven percent say alone
- 1:19:32Speaker 1: time eases tension, and sixty eight percent said say it
- 1:19:37Speaker 1: actually helps them feel more connected to the people they're
- 1:19:40Speaker 1: traveling with. What do you think you, guys, vacation a lot.
- 1:19:43Speaker 1: Do you like that alone? Let's do four a day?
- 1:19:48Speaker 9: You should have traveled alone?
- 1:19:51Speaker 2: Yes?
- 1:19:51Speaker 9: Yes, yes, gone by yourself sounds like.
- 1:19:55Speaker 2: And you know what if you okay with that, thank you,
- 1:19:58Speaker 2: I would do that.
- 1:19:59Speaker 1: Too, Junior. You agree, I love all my time with
- 1:20:06Speaker 1: my wife. I don't know, want no breaks.
- 1:20:08Speaker 2: I want the whole thing.
- 1:20:10Speaker 3: He got it.
- 1:20:13Speaker 2: That's what you better say.
- 1:20:16Speaker 1: Two hours four hour, Steve, what do you think?
- 1:20:19Speaker 2: It's black alone time? It's white alone time? It's different.
- 1:20:22Speaker 9: What's the difference.
- 1:20:23Speaker 2: Black alone time.
- 1:20:25Speaker 5: Means you just walking up and down the beach in
- 1:20:27Speaker 5: front of your villa or your hotel. Got a little
- 1:20:29Speaker 5: cigar and you're just out there walking up and down chilling.
- 1:20:32Speaker 5: White alone time means you venture off into the neighborhood
- 1:20:35Speaker 5: to learn the culture of the city and you come
- 1:20:38Speaker 5: up miss it.
- 1:20:39Speaker 2: That's the difference.

- 1:24:50Speaker 9: Think about the.
- 1:24:50Speaker 1: People who mean the most to you. Giving them valuable
- 1:24:54Speaker 1: protection is a great gift you can offer, and Globe
- 1:24:57Speaker 1: Life Insurance can make it easy. With Globe coverage, there's
- 1:25:00Speaker 1: no medical exam, just a simple application. Take this step
- 1:25:04Speaker 1: for the people you love. Call Globe Life at one
- 1:25:07Speaker 1: eight hundred two five, one fifty four hundred, or visit
- 1:25:10Speaker 1: globelifradio dot com. That's one eight hundred two five, one
- 1:25:14Speaker 1: fifty four hundred or globelife radio dot com. Well, guys,
- 1:25:18Speaker 1: here we are last break of the day on this Tuesday.
- 1:25:21Speaker 1: It's been a good day. Thank you everyone for listening
- 1:25:24Speaker 1: as always. Steve, yeah, you want to take us out.
- 1:25:27Speaker 5: You know what, my clothing remarks is going to be
- 1:25:29Speaker 5: different than I've ever done it before. Okay, I've never
- 1:25:33Speaker 5: done this. I've never talked about sports in my closing remarks,
- 1:25:38Speaker 5: but I'm going to do it today. You know, i
- 1:25:43Speaker 5: haven't been watching the whole series, but I've seen a
- 1:25:47Speaker 5: lot of the clips and highlights of the Lakers and Rockets,
- 1:25:52Speaker 5: and I've watched Lebron James play in a playoff game
- 1:25:57Speaker 5: with his son, Bronnie. I know in the beginning that
- 1:26:01Speaker 5: people had flat because they thought it was nepotism and
- 1:26:04Speaker 5: he only in the league because Lebron and said, Dad,
- 1:26:08Speaker 5: he can say whatever you want to say. I don't
- 1:26:09Speaker 5: care what you say. The boys qualified to play in
- 1:26:13Speaker 5: the NBA. Period got off to a little rough start,
- 1:26:16Speaker 5: you know, nerves and everything, but that boy, that boy
- 1:26:18Speaker 5: can actually play ball, and him being on the floor,
- 1:26:21Speaker 5: you could see that he should be on the floor. Now,
- 1:26:25Speaker 5: here's what I want to talk about, because there's been
- 1:26:28Speaker 5: a debate going on for a number of years of
- 1:26:32Speaker 5: who's the greatest basketball player to ever live? And you know,
- 1:26:39Speaker 5: Lebron has this motion where he sets the crown on
- 1:26:42Speaker 5: his head, and he has every right to put that
- 1:26:45Speaker 5: crown on his head right now because he is King
- 1:26:48Speaker 5: James in this league and he has been King James
- 1:26:52Speaker 5: in this league since he got into this league. I mean,
- 1:26:56Speaker 5: and this dude has been playing professional basketball since he
- 1:27:00Speaker 5: left high school in Akron, Ohio. Now the debate is
- 1:27:06Speaker 5: who's the greatest basketball player of all time?
- 1:27:09Speaker 6: You know what?
- 1:27:10Speaker 5: And Lebron has actually said it's him, and he came
- 1:27:13Speaker 5: out to justify it. You know, if I were Lebron,
- 1:27:16Speaker 5: this is what I would do. I would give Michael
- 1:27:21Speaker 5: Jordan the title of the greatest basketball player to ever
- 1:27:26Speaker 5: live in my opinion, because I have seen both of
- 1:27:31Speaker 5: their careers. I saw Michael Jordan's career from the very beginning,
- 1:27:35Speaker 5: and I saw it in I've seen Lebron's since the
- 1:27:40Speaker 5: very beginning. And if God let me live, I will steals.
- 1:27:43Speaker 5: I will see he is in too. So this is
- 1:27:48Speaker 5: just my opinion, like everybody else has this. If you
- 1:27:53Speaker 5: take away all of if you use the records, for example,
- 1:27:57Speaker 5: Lebron can hold his own with the exception of them rings.
- 1:28:02Speaker 5: But when I look at the tape when I was
- 1:28:05Speaker 5: watching the games, when I was sitting courtside or whatever
- 1:28:08Speaker 5: it was, Michael Jordan is the greatest basketball player I've
- 1:28:14Speaker 5: ever seen in my life. I've never seen anybody play
- 1:28:19Speaker 5: the game like him. So for me, he's the greatest
- 1:28:22Speaker 5: basketball player. And if I was Lebron, I let him
- 1:28:25Speaker 5: have that title, because you know what, Lebron got a
- 1:28:28Speaker 5: nobody got, and no one I've ever seen Lebron James says,
- 1:28:34Speaker 5: the greatest athletic career of any professional athlete, past or present,
- 1:28:41Speaker 5: in any sport period.
- 1:28:43Speaker 2: No one has put together a run like this man
- 1:28:48Speaker 2: has put together.
- 1:28:49Speaker 5: No One has played the game at the level that
- 1:28:53Speaker 5: he has played for as long as he has played.
- 1:28:56Speaker 6: No one.
- 1:28:57Speaker 2: You can go to soccer, you can go to cricket,
- 1:29:00Speaker 2: you can go to rugby, you can go to lacrosse,
- 1:29:02Speaker 2: you can go to baseball, you can go to basketball,
- 1:29:05Speaker 2: you can go to football, quit telling me about Tom Brady.
- 1:29:08Speaker 2: You can quit talkie running your mouth about Messi. You
- 1:29:11Speaker 2: can leave out Ronaldo Pepe, you can leave out the
- 1:29:14Speaker 2: great Peley. Ain't nobody played the game at the level
- 1:29:21Speaker 2: that this man, Lebron James has played it for as
- 1:29:24Speaker 2: long as he's played it over his professional career.
- 1:29:28Speaker 5: By none, pastor president. Don't talk to me about no
- 1:29:30Speaker 5: Babe Ruth, no Ted Williams.
- 1:29:33Speaker 2: You can say.
- 1:29:33Speaker 5: Muhammad al Lee, No One Tiger Woods has played at
- 1:29:39Speaker 5: the level he's played at in a professional career for
- 1:29:43Speaker 5: as long as he had. This man is forty years old,
- 1:29:46Speaker 5: still going up and down the floor playing defense.
- 1:29:49Speaker 2: He rocking it on twenty year olds.
- 1:29:52Speaker 11: He rocking it.
- 1:29:53Speaker 2: He just going to the paint and yam just yaming
- 1:29:56Speaker 2: on him.
- 1:29:57Speaker 5: And for as long as he's played, to watch him
- 1:30:00Speaker 5: play with his son, this is Do you understand We've
- 1:30:05Speaker 5: never seen this before.
- 1:30:08Speaker 2: This is incredible. And I think that that's just as much,
- 1:30:14Speaker 2: is if not greater than saying you're the greatest basketball
- 1:30:18Speaker 2: player of all time. If I was Lebron, I would
- 1:30:22Speaker 2: I would let Jordan have that. If I was all
- 1:30:25Speaker 2: y'all the Lebron fans, I would let Jordan have.
- 1:30:29Speaker 5: That because I'm a Jordan and Lebron fan, because I'm
- 1:30:33Speaker 5: from Cleveland. He gave us the only championship we've ever
- 1:30:37Speaker 5: had in that city in any sport. My love for
- 1:30:41Speaker 5: that dude go deeper than what you can ever imagine.
- 1:30:43Speaker 5: I actually cheered. I had something to cheer about in
- 1:30:47Speaker 5: my whole life, being a Cleveland boy. So when y'all
- 1:30:51Speaker 5: talking to me about the debate, I came to put
- 1:30:55Speaker 5: the debate to rest that there is no debate.
- 1:31:00Speaker 2: Far and away. If you look at the clips, what
- 1:31:03Speaker 2: Michael Jordan did on film, for those of you that
- 1:31:06Speaker 2: wasn't old enough to see him, what he did on
- 1:31:09Speaker 2: film was crazy. This dude right here was exceptional.
- 1:31:16Speaker 5: I've seen Lebron do some exceptional stuff, and I've seen
- 1:31:20Speaker 5: Jordan do some exceptional stoff, but I ain't seen nobody.
- 1:31:22Speaker 15: Do it as long and as good as this boy,
- 1:31:24Speaker 15: King James. This boy has put together the greatest athletic
- 1:31:29Speaker 15: career in professional sports that I've ever seen. And that's
- 1:31:33Speaker 15: the debate. So we have seen the two greatest of
- 1:31:38Speaker 15: all time at the same time, and I saw him both.
- 1:31:44Speaker 15: Congratulations to Michael Jordan and big ups to King James
- 1:31:48Speaker 15: because boy, you's a bad man.
