- 2:03Speaker 1: morning everybody, y'all listening to the voice, Come on dig
- 2:07Speaker 1: me NW one and only. Steve Harvey got a radio show,
- 2:10Speaker 1: man one more time. Steve Harvey got a radio show. Yeah,
- 2:14Speaker 1: I do, man, I thank God for it every day.
- 2:18Speaker 1: You know, Um my message is morning man. It's real clear.
- 2:23Speaker 1: It's something that's been on me to share, and it's
- 2:28Speaker 1: it's amazing, you know, Um, God can do some amazing
- 2:34Speaker 1: things for you. But what happens along the way is
- 2:39Speaker 1: and I don't know that I mean to say, but
- 2:44Speaker 1: but the fact that God can do some amazing things
- 2:47Speaker 1: for you, that comes adversity along with it. Every single
- 2:53Speaker 1: time it it just goes without saying. And I was
- 3:01Speaker 1: having a fairly I mean well not fairly, but a
- 3:06Speaker 1: hugely successful week. I had never seen this type of
- 3:11Speaker 1: hatred before. I hadn't seen it and it's it's a
- 3:17Speaker 1: great trick that the devil does, you know, when when
- 3:19Speaker 1: God is blessing you and giving you some some some
- 3:22Speaker 1: great opportunities in your life as all of you have
- 3:25Speaker 1: gone through, and it is isn't it amazing how some
- 3:29Speaker 1: negative thing crops up? And that's what you have to
- 3:32Speaker 1: focus on. I found out that I don't have to,
- 3:35Speaker 1: but you wind up focusing on it and your energy
- 3:38Speaker 1: goes over to that to try to deal with it. Counteract,
- 3:42Speaker 1: wonder why I was happening. You gotta make phone calls?
- 3:45Speaker 1: What was this about? Blah blah blah blah blah, and
- 3:47Speaker 1: and and it, and it throws you off the course
- 3:51Speaker 1: you are on the beginning of the week. I was
- 3:54Speaker 1: so grateful, I was so amazed. I was really thanking
- 3:58Speaker 1: God for opportunity. For the brief moment, the enemy slides
- 4:04Speaker 1: this little factor in there that causes you to and
- 4:07Speaker 1: it requires your attention. You have to pay an attention
- 4:10Speaker 1: because you don't know what you're going. Wow, man, let
- 4:12Speaker 1: me see what this could really be? How much dirt
- 4:15Speaker 1: is this really that they're trying to do? And so
- 4:18Speaker 1: it requires your attention. But in that attention, you lose
- 4:23Speaker 1: your focus on really all the blessings and the good
- 4:26Speaker 1: thing that God does for you, that the enemy has
- 4:30Speaker 1: an amazing trick that he does that. And it was
- 4:33Speaker 1: and it was in my head. I gotta tell y'all
- 4:35Speaker 1: all week long, man, and I was doing some amazing stuff.
- 4:39Speaker 1: I was having such a blessed week, man, in terms
- 4:42Speaker 1: of press and pr and where God was taking me.
- 4:46Speaker 1: And then when I got back, I was talking with
- 4:49Speaker 1: my wife, and then I was talking to a good
- 4:52Speaker 1: friend of ours and they shared something that really helped
- 4:58Speaker 1: me out. And they said to me, new level, new devil.
- 5:06Speaker 1: You know it's it's it's something really simple, but new level,
- 5:10Speaker 1: new devil. Every time you go to another level, every
- 5:15Speaker 1: time you go a little bit higher, every time God
- 5:19Speaker 1: has a blessing in store for you, every time He
- 5:23Speaker 1: moves you in position, do you understand that the enemy's
- 5:27Speaker 1: job is to make you not see the blessing, make
- 5:31Speaker 1: you not be grateful for it, lose your focus and
- 5:34Speaker 1: focus on this that I just threw in your way,
- 5:37Speaker 1: this stumbling block, this obstacle, this trickery. A man, I was,
- 5:42Speaker 1: I was, I got you. I just gotta tell you, man.
- 5:44Speaker 1: I mean, it was so filled with hatred that I
- 5:48Speaker 1: had to. I really spend some time addressing it. I
- 5:50Speaker 1: you know, I got publicists on the phone. I said,
- 5:52Speaker 1: what's what's happening here? Y'all not watching this? Y'all not what?
- 5:55Speaker 1: What was? What was this attack? You knew? Do? You
- 5:58Speaker 1: didn't know? These angles? What what was you know? Steve Chill?
- 6:03Speaker 1: New level, new devil? If you get a promotion on
- 6:07Speaker 1: your job, guess what, somebody ain't happy that you got
- 6:11Speaker 1: the promotion. So here come that. Hey, you don't even
- 6:14Speaker 1: you don't even really know these people. You have no idea.
- 6:18Speaker 1: Every time you make a decision to make your relationship
- 6:22Speaker 1: with your spouse better, man, this is it. You know
- 6:26Speaker 1: what I'm gonna start doing. I'm gonna do this, man,
- 6:28Speaker 1: so me and my girl can go on and have
- 6:30Speaker 1: this on. Me and my man can go on and
- 6:31Speaker 1: have this. Watch what happened every single time? Here comes
- 6:37Speaker 1: the new level, the new devil, the trick. You don't
- 6:41Speaker 1: need to do that, what you're doing that for her?
- 6:42Speaker 1: She don't appreciate it. He ain't go'na appreciate it. Look
- 6:45Speaker 1: over here, man, look at that right there. Ain't he nothing?
- 6:48Speaker 1: You know? He missed? He didn't call you and he said,
- 6:50Speaker 1: there's gone all types of stuff. It just happens all
- 6:53Speaker 1: the time. And I was sitting here talking with this friend,
- 6:56Speaker 1: really good friend, very spiritual person, and they said, you
- 7:00Speaker 1: know something, Steve. You know, I was talking to Jesus
- 7:03Speaker 1: and said I was having this conversation with Christ. And
- 7:06Speaker 1: I said, God, for real, you mean to tell me
- 7:10Speaker 1: every time that something good happens to me? You mean
- 7:15Speaker 1: every time I try to go to the next level,
- 7:18Speaker 1: every time you put me on the next level. You
- 7:20Speaker 1: mean to tell me that I got to go through
- 7:22Speaker 1: this right here? Are you for real? And then my
- 7:27Speaker 1: friend said, Jesus said her, they did it to me,
- 7:33Speaker 1: and we just fell out laughing. They did it to me,
- 7:37Speaker 1: They did it to him. They did it to him
- 7:41Speaker 1: for him to go to the next level. And you know,
- 7:44Speaker 1: I was just I was just going over the whole
- 7:46Speaker 1: story about the crucifixion and everything that had to be
- 7:49Speaker 1: amazing man of all the hate he had endured, all
- 7:52Speaker 1: the prosecuting he had do it. They thought, ultimately, what
- 7:56Speaker 1: we'll do is we'll nail him on the crossing, crucified,
- 8:00Speaker 1: and that'll be the end of him. And we'll put
- 8:03Speaker 1: him in this tune and we'll put this big stone
- 8:05Speaker 1: up there and that'll be the end of him. But
- 8:08Speaker 1: what they did not know was all you was doing
- 8:10Speaker 1: was setting the tone for the next level, because eventually
- 8:14Speaker 1: the stone got rolled away and he went and got
- 8:17Speaker 1: placed with his father where he was headed to. Anyway,
- 8:21Speaker 1: he ultimately knew that his ultimate goal was to get
- 8:25Speaker 1: to his father. So when you when you when you
- 8:30Speaker 1: thought you were doing what you were doing to him,
- 8:34Speaker 1: and you put him in the tune, and you put
- 8:36Speaker 1: the big stone up in there, and the stone got
- 8:38Speaker 1: rolled got rolled away, and he went eventually to where
- 8:41Speaker 1: he was trying to get to. That story is in
- 8:46Speaker 1: place for all of us to remember that when we
- 8:51Speaker 1: are going through some things, could it be because we
- 8:54Speaker 1: are going to a place, you know, It could be
- 8:57Speaker 1: just a place in life. It could be just a
- 9:00Speaker 1: different level in life. That's all it has to be.
- 9:03Speaker 1: But there's going to be the adversarial challenges that come
- 9:08Speaker 1: with it, and those are the moments we must expect,
- 9:12Speaker 1: expect and take them head on and still not lose
- 9:16Speaker 1: your focus or appreciation for what God has done for you.
- 9:19Speaker 1: So in light of all of that, I'm able to
- 9:21Speaker 1: say today that I think my Heavenly Father, I really
- 9:24Speaker 1: do for all the blessing seas to be stowed upon
- 9:27Speaker 1: me and all of the haters and all of the liars,
- 9:32Speaker 1: and all of the backstabbers and all those people. When
- 9:35Speaker 1: you get through lying, when you get through stabbing, when
- 9:40Speaker 1: you get through gossiping and doing what you do, I'm
- 9:45Speaker 1: still going to the next level. I'm still going. You
- 9:51Speaker 1: cannot stop what God has in store for you. No
- 9:55Speaker 1: one can stop that. Ladies and gentlemen. You know what, Yeah,
- 10:06Speaker 1: I again, just again. He'd have done it again. He
- 10:15Speaker 1: didn't walk us all up, gave us a new opportunity.
- 10:18Speaker 1: He'd have done it again. How amazing is that? You
- 10:24Speaker 1: had nothing to do with this new day? Nothing. You
- 10:28Speaker 1: ain't blew no wind, You ain't bought in no tide.
- 10:31Speaker 1: You ain't raised no sun. You ain't got rid of
- 10:34Speaker 1: the stars, you ain't shying the moon. You ain't nothing.
- 10:38Speaker 1: He hadn't done it again, man, That's all God. Somebody
- 10:47Speaker 1: got into my DM and they and you know, I
- 10:50Speaker 1: don't check them, but but people check them. And they
- 10:53Speaker 1: said that somebody said they're an atheists, and they don't
- 10:57Speaker 1: enjoy listening to the show when I talk about something
- 10:59Speaker 1: that does doesn't exist. I don't know what you're talking about.
- 11:03Speaker 1: I really don't. I have no idea what you mean
- 11:07Speaker 1: by that. I have no idea what you insinuating. I
- 11:12Speaker 1: just told you he'd have done it again. That sun
- 11:17Speaker 1: that mooned them stars, that ocean, that time that mom's
- 11:21Speaker 1: at Clover, that scenery that he paints every day, he'd
- 11:25Speaker 1: have done it again. I don't know who you don't
- 11:28Speaker 1: think that is, but I will never stop saying who
- 11:32Speaker 1: it is. I know that fathers you, my man, my man,
- 11:38Speaker 1: but I don't know what else to tell you. Man,
- 11:42Speaker 1: he'd have done it again. Carl Crawberry calling Brel Julietea.
- 11:58Speaker 1: Who you think you doing this? But he had done
- 12:02Speaker 1: it again. I don't know who you think done, but
- 12:09Speaker 1: I have the dog he had done it again. That
- 12:13Speaker 1: that thing you don't believe it that keep it happening,
- 12:16Speaker 1: even though you don't know how to don't stop it,
- 12:19Speaker 1: and you ain't. Of course you've been no help too.
- 12:22Speaker 1: I just want to point boy, what a great day, junior,
- 12:29Speaker 1: or anything on your mind that they usual? This is
- 12:32Speaker 1: this marriage thing? Oh this is question? Oh yeah, yeah,
- 12:34Speaker 1: I do. I have to report everywhere I'm going, Yes,
- 12:39Speaker 1: because I'm gonna tell you the three scarce words and
- 12:41Speaker 1: the marriages. Where you're going. I don't care what I'm
- 12:45Speaker 1: dressed like. I can have on tank top, shorts and slash.
- 12:48Speaker 1: I can't be going far. They want to know, Julian.
- 12:54Speaker 1: Let me give you a little correction. That ain't the
- 12:56Speaker 1: three hardest words they not they for me right now? No, no, no, no.
- 13:00Speaker 1: The three hardest words is where you being? No where
- 13:06Speaker 1: but where you're going? You can pick that. It's the
- 13:09Speaker 1: way you pin three words like have broke up, mohome,
- 13:16Speaker 1: Well you me at a fourth word on where a
- 13:18Speaker 1: blank you bean? That's really that four word means the
- 13:25Speaker 1: end is near. At a matter of fact, that word
- 13:29Speaker 1: actually means he already know the answer. You say you're
- 13:35Speaker 1: in trouble, Jennie, That ain't it the nephew and run
- 13:42Speaker 1: that prank back right after this you're listening to show,
- 13:48Speaker 1: all right, it is time now for the nephew to
- 13:50Speaker 1: run that prank back. Nephew, what ignorance do you have
- 13:54Speaker 1: for us today? This right here is your duels, your doors,
- 14:00Speaker 1: your doors, your doors. Let's go care door. Hello, Hello,
- 14:05Speaker 1: I'm trying to reach all mister Paul, Please call Virginia's here,
- 14:09Speaker 1: probably senior. Okay, this is man. How are you doing that?
- 14:12Speaker 1: I'm good, I'm good. Listen. My name is Mark. I'm
- 14:14Speaker 1: actually calling from a company called doors. Are you Are
- 14:18Speaker 1: you at Good Court? Yes? Correct? You guys just built
- 14:21Speaker 1: at home? Right? Yeah, I'm like I said, my name
- 14:24Speaker 1: is Mark Stevens. I'm actually calling from doors Or we're
- 14:27Speaker 1: actually the company that uh supplied the doors that are
- 14:30Speaker 1: actually throughout your house. Okay, great, what are you calling from?
- 14:34Speaker 1: A follow up? No, this isn't a follow up. Actually,
- 14:36Speaker 1: we're got a couple of glitches we want to try
- 14:38Speaker 1: and get get straighten out if we could find uh, Well,
- 14:41Speaker 1: here's here's the problem, sir. The problem we're having is
- 14:43Speaker 1: that the contractor that actually built you all's home has
- 14:48Speaker 1: not paid for the doors. You guys have been there
- 14:51Speaker 1: two and a half months and we can't seem to
- 14:54Speaker 1: get the contractor to come in and pay for the doors.
- 14:58Speaker 1: Try to call it. We tried to call them several
- 15:00Speaker 1: times and we have not been able to get lump
- 15:02Speaker 1: for the yab on him. Because you don't have a
- 15:04Speaker 1: good number. I can give you a number, because I
- 15:07Speaker 1: really don't have anything to do with that. In fact, god,
- 15:10Speaker 1: you get my number. Well, actually we had your number
- 15:12Speaker 1: of files as the homeowner, and that's pretty much how
- 15:14Speaker 1: we had you. But the problem we're facing here, sir,
- 15:17Speaker 1: is we tried to get this guy for the last
- 15:19Speaker 1: couple of months and we can't get him. So, actually,
- 15:23Speaker 1: what's what's gonna happen here in the next day or
- 15:25Speaker 1: so is we're probably gonna have to come and get
- 15:27Speaker 1: all the doors. Olay, do what. We're probably gonna have
- 15:31Speaker 1: to come and get all the doors in your house,
- 15:34Speaker 1: take them off and bring them back here to the
- 15:36Speaker 1: plant until we get we're gonna get out of my doors.
- 15:39Speaker 1: We're gonna have to get those doors until either we
- 15:41Speaker 1: get a contractor or you know, we get paid for
- 15:44Speaker 1: the doors. Now, what could happen if you could pay
- 15:46Speaker 1: for the doors? No, no, no, already paid for the doors.
- 15:49Speaker 1: That's that's that's past tense. I've done that, paid you
- 15:53Speaker 1: saint paying that means I got a double back. Well, sir,
- 15:55Speaker 1: we haven't been paid, sir for the doors. No, no, no,
- 15:58Speaker 1: the contractor was aid for the doors. That's who paid you. Okay,
- 16:03Speaker 1: And what I'm trying to explain to you, sir, we
- 16:05Speaker 1: haven't been paid at all here at doors number all?
- 16:10Speaker 1: Oh okay, well at doing they should receive a check
- 16:14Speaker 1: from my contract and you, sir, is that that hasn't
- 16:18Speaker 1: been done. I thought, since you have not been paid,
- 16:20Speaker 1: you're gonna come back and get my doors out. You said,
- 16:22Speaker 1: we Now, who's all this you do? And who are
- 16:24Speaker 1: they gonna come an? Here's the problem here? Like, no, no,
- 16:27Speaker 1: there ain't no problems. We're gonna we're gonna resolve this
- 16:29Speaker 1: very peacefully. But who is we? Okay, so what's taking
- 16:32Speaker 1: place here? My job is they've taken this money out
- 16:36Speaker 1: of my check that hasn't been paid for the doors.
- 16:38Speaker 1: Oh yes, I can understand that, but why would they
- 16:41Speaker 1: take it out of your check? You did the man hours, you,
- 16:43Speaker 1: you've done your work. I don't understand it, sir. But
- 16:46Speaker 1: since the company hasn't been paid, the company has taken
- 16:48Speaker 1: it out on me. And it's not gonna come down
- 16:50Speaker 1: on me. So either I'm gonna get the doors. Well,
- 16:53Speaker 1: you need to quit your job because they ain't gonna
- 16:55Speaker 1: because they need to give you a not just give
- 16:57Speaker 1: you a bonus, but give you some only work. Because
- 16:59Speaker 1: bottom line is you're talking about coming to get my
- 17:02Speaker 1: doors now that's not gonna happen. Either we resolve this
- 17:05Speaker 1: peacefully as if you paid for it, or I come
- 17:08Speaker 1: out and get the doors and I'm not finishing city
- 17:09Speaker 1: and go back. You need to go in and come
- 17:12Speaker 1: get these doors. Gas up and come get these doors.
- 17:14Speaker 1: Because you're not gonna come and get this. I'm not
- 17:16Speaker 1: gonna send you no money, okay. S. Then then what
- 17:19Speaker 1: we need to do is get a schedule time where
- 17:20Speaker 1: I can come out and get off the doors. Now
- 17:22Speaker 1: I'm on your time. I'm sorry, I'm on your time now.
- 17:25Speaker 1: So you got this. You must be paying me now
- 17:27Speaker 1: since I'm on your time, what are you talking about?
- 17:29Speaker 1: Because you're talking about here gonna set up a time
- 17:32Speaker 1: with me. That means I have to leave and do
- 17:33Speaker 1: what I do to be meet you here to get
- 17:36Speaker 1: something don't belong to you, which is my door, So
- 17:37Speaker 1: you don't have to be there at all, because I'm
- 17:39Speaker 1: gonna I'm gonna be there and take the front door
- 17:42Speaker 1: off and I'm gonna keep keep moving through the house
- 17:44Speaker 1: and get all the doors and get them back here
- 17:46Speaker 1: to the player. I don't think you hear yourself now
- 17:48Speaker 1: first and almost how you when you come to the
- 17:50Speaker 1: front door I'm gonna be without waiting on you as
- 17:52Speaker 1: you as you taking off the latch, I'm gonna be
- 17:55Speaker 1: on your behind making shit. You realize you're gonna have
- 17:57Speaker 1: to take this door or take this and I'm I'm
- 18:00Speaker 1: pretty show timp coming to you and get that first door.
- 18:03Speaker 1: So I can't keep going back and forth with you.
- 18:05Speaker 1: Let me say this to you. I'm coming to get
- 18:06Speaker 1: them doors, even if I gotta take a whip because
- 18:09Speaker 1: I gotta get my money back from the company that
- 18:11Speaker 1: they took for me, because so damn contractor did not
- 18:14Speaker 1: pay for the damn doors. Hey, you better. Hey, bringing
- 18:17Speaker 1: your tarms down when you're talking me, you're talking tip
- 18:19Speaker 1: go man, I'm gonna I'm gonna peut this on you.
- 18:22Speaker 1: I'm not gonna allowing you to come to my hearts
- 18:24Speaker 1: and take these damn doors and you ain't trying to
- 18:26Speaker 1: get no money. I'm trying to get them doors that
- 18:29Speaker 1: I'm coming to get them today. I need every long
- 18:32Speaker 1: what time is coming. I want to even back when
- 18:34Speaker 1: you come next with these doors, because I make sure
- 18:37Speaker 1: clean what tid he coming. Don't don't worry about when
- 18:39Speaker 1: I'm coming. You don't know when I'm there. When I
- 18:41Speaker 1: take the first door off the heads. Every goal, we're
- 18:44Speaker 1: gonna meet at that door and what that and tell
- 18:47Speaker 1: you what I'm gonna pay you. I'mna pay a dollar
- 18:49Speaker 1: wipp Now take that checking and they kiss that inside
- 18:52Speaker 1: slipping the night. I'm gonna take that flopping if that's
- 18:55Speaker 1: what it takes. But I gotta take these doors. You
- 18:56Speaker 1: want to get my money? I mean you to do
- 18:58Speaker 1: next time, get your damn money. Stop, get a job
- 19:02Speaker 1: to page you better for this equipment. You're gonna get
- 19:04Speaker 1: it in fed well, I'm not sure. I'm not gonna
- 19:07Speaker 1: keep going back and forth with you about you whooping mind.
- 19:09Speaker 1: I don't know any more. Day. Then run take that
- 19:13Speaker 1: and take it on hand and say it. But I'm
- 19:14Speaker 1: bringing them doing every door. Fact you should have been
- 19:20Speaker 1: calling a contract sh healing doing IM doing from from
- 19:24Speaker 1: my damn Come on, I'm telling you what you need
- 19:26Speaker 1: to be calling him. He got h I'm gonna get
- 19:28Speaker 1: it every dough you got in that home. Nonna tell
- 19:31Speaker 1: you what you know what I do. I just want
- 19:32Speaker 1: to go to work wrong, I just coming in and
- 19:36Speaker 1: get them does like your all join you. I won't
- 19:38Speaker 1: wait a second. Now, I just told you you ain't

- 19:48Speaker 1: doing and you know what else I'm coming to do
- 19:50Speaker 1: what I'm coming to tell you who I am? You
- 19:53Speaker 1: do you know who I am? More? I know who
- 19:56Speaker 1: you are. I'm make sure I do for myself. You
- 20:00Speaker 1: won't go get it. I don't get the doors that
- 20:04Speaker 1: I ain't ain't really Who are aim? Who are you
- 20:08Speaker 1: I am? Nephew taught me from the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 20:12Speaker 1: You just got a prank phone call by your wife, Faith.
- 20:17Speaker 1: That's that's why I sho raining. You don't get what
- 20:21Speaker 1: I can now say. Oh buddy, you got me. You
- 20:25Speaker 1: know I'm on the upper typical negro. I got one
- 20:27Speaker 1: the red doors. You know we get the red doors.
- 20:29Speaker 1: You're doing something. Hey man, I gotta ask you, man, Paul,
- 20:34Speaker 1: what is the baddest radio show in the land? Show?
- 20:43Speaker 1: All right, thank you, nephew, shut the front door. Hello,
- 20:47Speaker 1: coming up next, it is asked the CLO Chief Love
- 20:51Speaker 1: Officer Steve Harvey in the building. You're listening the same
- 20:55Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. Coming up at the top of the hour.
- 20:59Speaker 1: We have a very special treat for you. Okay, sultry
- 21:03Speaker 1: soul singer Wait a minute, we forgot one s sultry
- 21:07Speaker 1: sexy soul singer Kim Kim I said, Kim k e
- 21:13Speaker 1: M will be will be our special guests? Yeah, be
- 21:20Speaker 1: our special guests. Yes, can't wait for that. We haven't
- 21:23Speaker 1: heard from family member Kim in a really long time.
- 21:25Speaker 1: But guess what. He has a brand new live album.
- 21:27Speaker 1: It's called Anniversary. He's coming to tell us all about it.
- 21:31Speaker 1: He's also released his first memoir titled Share My Life
- 21:35Speaker 1: like his song, and that's all coming up. But right
- 21:38Speaker 1: now it is time to ask our clo Kaisha and
- 21:47Speaker 1: Philly says. I've been married for four years and my
- 21:50Speaker 1: husband is already having an affair. He was married when
- 21:54Speaker 1: I met him, and my mother told me the way
- 21:57Speaker 1: I got him is the way I'll lose him. I'm
- 22:00Speaker 1: trying to fight for my marriage, though. Am I crazy
- 22:02Speaker 1: to try to stay with him? I mean, look, if
- 22:06Speaker 1: this is what he's going to do, there's no remorse,
- 22:10Speaker 1: you know about it. He ain't stopping being what you
- 22:13Speaker 1: staying for the only way I'm fighting for something. It
- 22:17Speaker 1: takes two to tangle, especially in marriage. It takes two
- 22:21Speaker 1: to tangle so if the two people gotta be willing
- 22:24Speaker 1: to work for it, not one. So your bigger question
- 22:28Speaker 1: is are you crazy to fight for what? You need
- 22:30Speaker 1: to find out is he willing to fight for see?
- 22:34Speaker 1: Because if if he don't want to fight for it,
- 22:37Speaker 1: he gonna keep doing what he want to do. You're
- 22:39Speaker 1: you're in some garden, you know. Okay, your mama had
- 22:44Speaker 1: an interesting point though. Yeah, and everybody does say that.
- 22:48Speaker 1: I mean, that's like, you know, a normal thing to say.
- 22:52Speaker 1: Oh yeah people, Yeah, all right. Moving on to Tanya
- 22:58Speaker 1: and Raleigh, who writes, my cousin isn't speaking to me
- 23:01Speaker 1: because of her boyfriend. She's dating a guy that I
- 23:04Speaker 1: went to high school with and he was in special
- 23:06Speaker 1: ed for three years. Well I told her parents about
- 23:09Speaker 1: him by mistake. He acts so much better now, So
- 23:12Speaker 1: why is she mad? Well? See, well, I have a
- 23:20Speaker 1: career I have here, and that right there is a
- 23:24Speaker 1: trick question coming from the internet. It's a trap. I
- 23:28Speaker 1: know who planted that question there. It was planned by
- 23:31Speaker 1: the HR at our Heart media. I know it's a trap.
- 23:35Speaker 1: I know y'all trying to see if I was paying
- 23:37Speaker 1: attention in an HR meeting. But I want you to
- 23:39Speaker 1: know I listened. Well, I have no comment on this
- 23:42Speaker 1: letter at all. I think he's a fine young man
- 23:48Speaker 1: and everybody all getting is allowed to get up and
- 23:51Speaker 1: and and and and and and get theirselves together. And
- 23:54Speaker 1: that's all I want to say on it. Now. With
- 23:57Speaker 1: that said, the amount of jokes that I actually had
- 24:02Speaker 1: carmulating and mutating in my mind will get us all
- 24:06Speaker 1: put up out of hill. And I want to thank
- 24:08Speaker 1: the Lord for discernment and discretion on this blessed day
- 24:12Speaker 1: that I have learned. Just because you can't say something,
- 24:16Speaker 1: don't mean you shop. You got to go to HRD boy.
- 24:24Speaker 1: And I just want to say to the Heart media
- 24:27Speaker 1: people who tried to trap me with that question from
- 24:30Speaker 1: h Yes, it was all it was. They sent that
- 24:34Speaker 1: in and it's from it was from our heart email.
- 24:39Speaker 1: Your way too suspicious? All right? Here we go. Police
- 24:42Speaker 1: in New Orleans says I ran into my stepdad at
- 24:45Speaker 1: a restaurant and he offered to buy me and my
- 24:47Speaker 1: friends around him drinks. One of my girls comment at
- 24:50Speaker 1: that he's always in that restaurant flirting with all kinds
- 24:53Speaker 1: of women. Do I tell my mother or tell him
- 24:58Speaker 1: to chill out myself? Which one? No? What see First
- 25:03Speaker 1: of all, your stepdad is in that restaurant, and a
- 25:08Speaker 1: friend of yours says he always in that, flirting with
- 25:11Speaker 1: all types of women. How she knows he's say he's
- 25:15Speaker 1: say speculation of gana clear specula what you cannot assume
- 25:20Speaker 1: it's flirting if you see him in the restaurant all
- 25:23Speaker 1: the time, you in the restaurant, what you in that name?
- 25:26Speaker 1: But why are you trying to tell me that this
- 25:28Speaker 1: girl don't know when her step done. It's not no, no,
- 25:32Speaker 1: she doesn't because she ain't seen her stepdaddy do nothing.
- 25:36Speaker 1: Her girlfriend told her that her stepdaddy is in that
- 25:40Speaker 1: all the time, flirting with all types of women. So
- 25:43Speaker 1: she don't know flirting when she sees it the plan
- 25:46Speaker 1: it's called speculation. Oh good, all right, okay, this man
- 25:51Speaker 1: her mother. You are asking someone to draw conclusion based
- 25:56Speaker 1: on something they saw off an interpretation, and that in
- 26:00Speaker 1: the court of law, it's not a liable to court.
- 26:04Speaker 1: Yet that's not how you don't go to court. You
- 26:07Speaker 1: think ahead of time. I don't think she should say
- 26:11Speaker 1: something to her stepf he's married to her mom? Yeah
- 26:15Speaker 1: what what? What what is he gonna say to her?
- 26:19Speaker 1: What is she gonna say to yeah, hey, my girlfriend said, yeah,
- 26:24Speaker 1: you're in here. Oh that's not what I'm doing in court?
- 26:29Speaker 1: Well you know, I mean, I mean, baby girl, that's
- 26:32Speaker 1: not what I'm doing. I come in here because I
- 26:34Speaker 1: enjoy the food. I know people because I'm in here
- 26:38Speaker 1: so much, and I do speak to people, but I'm
- 26:40Speaker 1: not flirting with anybody. I love you and mother, and
- 26:43Speaker 1: I come home every night. Your mom ain't got no
- 26:45Speaker 1: problem with me. Ask her, I may look stupid. Yeah,
- 26:52Speaker 1: we'll go ahead and tell her. Come on over here,
- 26:54Speaker 1: because I'm telling you what he gonna tell her. Hub.
- 26:57Speaker 1: I believe that part. Yeah, we believe the lies that
- 27:01Speaker 1: he's gonna tell for sure. But see the sad part
- 27:05Speaker 1: is you all believe the girlfriend. See that's y'all's problem.
- 27:09Speaker 1: That's why most of y'all's relationships ain't worth a quoter
- 27:13Speaker 1: listening to them. Damn friends of yours that ain't got nobody. Now,
- 27:18Speaker 1: them little folk, miserable little things sitting up in that
- 27:21Speaker 1: knee somebody by their damn self or drink, and now
- 27:24Speaker 1: now they don't want nobody else happy. So now here
- 27:27Speaker 1: they're trying to ruin. This man speculates, well, why is
- 27:31Speaker 1: she telling it. You know, you don't know. You don't
- 27:36Speaker 1: You don't either, You don't know, hum, But I know,
- 27:39Speaker 1: I know. I know how how men get falsely accused
- 27:43Speaker 1: of thing, and this right here has I don't see
- 27:46Speaker 1: him taking women out of here. I ain't seen him
- 27:48Speaker 1: at no hotel, he being here all the time at
- 27:52Speaker 1: this restaurant, talking to all kinds of women. So flirting
- 27:56Speaker 1: is okay, is what you're saying. You don't know he flirts,
- 27:59Speaker 1: He ain't touching nobody. Yes, Carlin, is it possible that
- 28:03Speaker 1: he's flirting. It's a possibility. It is a possibility. I
- 28:07Speaker 1: just want to It is a possibility ability. It is
- 28:12Speaker 1: a possibility. We see. But but but you people people
- 28:15Speaker 1: don't get the divorce don't possibility. Well they do. If
- 28:23Speaker 1: this girl go over here and start this mess, my
- 28:27Speaker 1: lords mind, Joe, damn business, because you got plenty of
- 28:32Speaker 1: it to do. That's her mom, Steve, It ain't her mom.
- 28:36Speaker 1: It's who is the girl? Y'all? Y'all missing the point.
- 28:39Speaker 1: The girl that ain't got nothing to do with it,
- 28:42Speaker 1: bought this information to her girlfriend. That was wrong because
- 28:47Speaker 1: she's speculating. She don't know nothing, but she can't unhear it,
- 28:52Speaker 1: so she she ain't heard about her mother. She all,
- 28:57Speaker 1: we gotta I got you by appetizing. Somebody coming up.
- 29:04Speaker 1: Thank you for whatever coming up. Our very special guests
- 29:10Speaker 1: and family member in the building, Kim Kim. Right after this,
- 29:15Speaker 1: you're listening, ladies and gentlemen, has promised we got a
- 29:23Speaker 1: family member on the show. He's platinum selling artists, he's
- 29:27Speaker 1: a songwriter, producer. He's done something now really special and rare, y'all,
- 29:32Speaker 1: and he's gonna share it with us today to commemorate
- 29:36Speaker 1: his twentieth anniversary on the Motown label. A man who
- 29:42Speaker 1: damned the resurrected Motown. I remember when they was boarding
- 29:47Speaker 1: it up. He came along with a couple other groups
- 29:52Speaker 1: and resurrected Almighty Motown. He has released his first book
- 29:56Speaker 1: and his first live album ever. The book is called
- 30:00Speaker 1: Share My Life and the live album is called Anniversary.
- 30:04Speaker 1: We're gonna find out more about it, but right now,
- 30:08Speaker 1: I want to tell you that this man has given
- 30:11Speaker 1: me two of the most poignant opening lines of songs
- 30:17Speaker 1: I've ever heard. When this man opening line come on,
- 30:22Speaker 1: you immediately know what's happening. First one, pray for me
- 30:29Speaker 1: that right there, letting me know this was a desperate moment.
- 30:35Speaker 1: Get get up. This song is about help help me,
- 30:38Speaker 1: damn it now, pray for me. Second line, favorite opening
- 30:46Speaker 1: a song I've heard in a long time. I think
- 30:50Speaker 1: about the day I got a rope around your thing.
- 30:56Speaker 1: Them two lines right there lets me know that this
- 30:59Speaker 1: is my blanket and blank dude, ladies and gentlemen, family member,
- 31:05Speaker 1: my dude, the one and only. Put your hands together
- 31:08Speaker 1: and show some love for Kim. Yeah, it can what
- 31:15Speaker 1: you're doing like I'm doing. I'm good. I'm good. I'm good,
- 31:18Speaker 1: I'm good. I'm working. I'm working hard. I'm working hard,
- 31:21Speaker 1: working hard. Yeah, hell yeah, always me that song right there,
- 31:28Speaker 1: you get to the core of it. It lets you
- 31:30Speaker 1: know this song is in emergency. Gall I got I
- 31:35Speaker 1: got a problem. I need some help. We're gonna straight
- 31:38Speaker 1: to the Lord some right here. Hey, family, may man,
- 31:45Speaker 1: let's get to this. You've written your first book. It's
- 31:47Speaker 1: a memoir and the title of it is called Share
- 31:50Speaker 1: My Life. And in the book, you you you chronic
- 31:53Speaker 1: you you, you chronicle your whole journey to becoming a
- 31:55Speaker 1: man and how you put everything on the line to
- 31:58Speaker 1: pursue your dream. What inspired you to right the memoir.
- 32:02Speaker 1: Hey look man, great healing and transformation is taking place
- 32:05Speaker 1: in my life because people have shared their stories with me,
- 32:09Speaker 1: you know, And my hope is that I can do
- 32:11Speaker 1: the same with my book. I talk about depression, I
- 32:13Speaker 1: talk about homelessness, I talk about addiction, I talk about
- 32:16Speaker 1: the Detroit hustle, the grind to get a record deal.
- 32:20Speaker 1: You know, it ain't. It's not a self help book
- 32:22Speaker 1: per se. But my hope is that ultimately is that
- 32:24Speaker 1: it will help somebody. But you know, man, it is though,
- 32:28Speaker 1: because when people like yourselves tell the honest truth, it
- 32:34Speaker 1: helps so many people, because people need to know about
- 32:38Speaker 1: the struggle part of it, because most people are caught
- 32:40Speaker 1: up in one right now. Yeah, so I think it's
- 32:44Speaker 1: admirable man, that you would expose yourself that way. I
- 32:47Speaker 1: like death lot. Yeah, thank you for that. And uh,
- 32:51Speaker 1: you know my co authors David Read, who who wrote
- 32:55Speaker 1: books with Ray Charles and Martin Gay and Lenny Travis
- 32:59Speaker 1: and Willing Else and BB King, you know, so so
- 33:02Speaker 1: he was a perfect collaborator. And uh, you know again, man,
- 33:05Speaker 1: I just hope that I can I can give back
- 33:07Speaker 1: so much has been given to me, you know, and Uh.
- 33:10Speaker 1: I know people who followed me think that. Uh, you know,
- 33:13Speaker 1: they've heard my bus and pieces of my stories over
- 33:16Speaker 1: the years, you know, and I just you know, I
- 33:18Speaker 1: didn't just show up here, you know. And you know
- 33:20Speaker 1: what that is, right, Sometimes you got something to get
- 33:22Speaker 1: to something everybody, you know. So so I just I
- 33:26Speaker 1: just want to inspire and encourage and keep giving back
- 33:29Speaker 1: because I've been getting so much. That is true, man,
- 33:32Speaker 1: because so many people they look at other people's success
- 33:35Speaker 1: and they say, man, he just came out of nowhere.
- 33:38Speaker 1: But no, no, I don't think now how much in
- 33:44Speaker 1: the middle of know where I actually was, so you know, right,
- 33:49Speaker 1: you know, so like I didn't get dealing so I
- 33:51Speaker 1: was thirty thirty four, thirty five years old, you know
- 33:55Speaker 1: I have been I haven't, and I'm grateful for that
- 33:57Speaker 1: because they had I had gotten a record deal when
- 34:00Speaker 1: I was nineteen, we wouldn't be having this conversation. Hey, hey, Kim,
- 34:07Speaker 1: because that nineteen year old you would not have handled
- 34:10Speaker 1: it right, right, man, that's a great moment. Hey man. Listen,
- 34:16Speaker 1: your first ever live album it's entitled Anniversary, and you're
- 34:20Speaker 1: going over twenty years or being on mo time record
- 34:25Speaker 1: and it includes your number one hits like love Call,
- 34:29Speaker 1: I Can't stop loving you? Why would you stay nobody
- 34:34Speaker 1: lit of me? Stuck on you? Why'd you decide to
- 34:37Speaker 1: do a live album at this time? So people have
- 34:40Speaker 1: been asking me for a live record for years, you know,
- 34:43Speaker 1: and I've always kind of pushed back. I didn't think that.
- 34:46Speaker 1: You know. When I think a live records, dude, I
- 34:48Speaker 1: think about her It's winning Fire and Martin Gay at
- 34:50Speaker 1: the Palladium, you know, and I think twenty years, I've
- 34:53Speaker 1: got enough enough stature in the game to where I
- 34:56Speaker 1: got enough catalogs to make it make sense, you know, yeah, yeah,
- 35:03Speaker 1: you know. And uh so we reported it this past
- 35:06Speaker 1: fall at the Areta formerly Shane Park in Detroit, two
- 35:09Speaker 1: nights there about the man, and we just said, we
- 35:11Speaker 1: just put it down, you know. So I still want
- 35:14Speaker 1: all to come to the show. But you but if
- 35:16Speaker 1: you but you now you have the now you have
- 35:19Speaker 1: the Kim live experience at your fingertips. Literally, Oh man,
- 35:23Speaker 1: that's see, You're right about that catalog. So you can
- 35:27Speaker 1: do a live album. Because when you said Earth when
- 35:29Speaker 1: the five you're talking about gratitude, Yeah, I'm staying when
- 35:33Speaker 1: you mentioned people like that, you know, Marvin gave Live
- 35:37Speaker 1: at the Platum. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, So I think
- 35:48Speaker 1: it's gonna be phenomenal. Hey, hey, Kim, hold on one second, man,
- 35:52Speaker 1: we're gonna come back. We're gonna talk about the two
- 35:53Speaker 1: days everybody where you can get some tickets or where
- 35:56Speaker 1: you can find out where he is so you can
- 35:57Speaker 1: see this live for yourself. We'll be back more with Kim.
- 36:00Speaker 1: You're listening light everybody. We're back in our special guest
- 36:06Speaker 1: this morning, his family member Kim, producer, songwriter, uh, soul

- 36:49Speaker 1: Now who you're on tour with right now? We're on

- 40:58Speaker 1: to sixty, a few seventy year olds. Um, they're a thing.
- 41:03Speaker 1: They're scared of what might be shown in the documentary.
- 41:06Speaker 1: So I have to ask you back in the day,
- 41:10Speaker 1: did you ever go to freak Neck in the nineties?
- 41:13Speaker 1: Did you were you there to say? Of course I did.
- 41:15Speaker 1: I've been saving souls around this country for years. I
- 41:19Speaker 1: tried saving souls at onod Stock, I was saving souls
- 41:24Speaker 1: at count basic concerts. I was saving souls at US
- 41:29Speaker 1: Music Festival. I was saving souls at the b T Wars.
- 41:33Speaker 1: I was down when Shook came out on stage and
- 41:36Speaker 1: threatened to everybody. I pulled this fat ass right off
- 41:39Speaker 1: to the side and straight here, right on out getting help.
- 41:43Speaker 1: Don't got it ass locked up? But listening. You know,
- 41:46Speaker 1: I've been to all of these award shows. I've done everything.
- 41:49Speaker 1: So yeah, I've been to freaking it. Okay, down down,
- 41:54Speaker 1: didn't got it. It started getting out of hand though,
- 41:57Speaker 1: you know, it wasn't started to be for u h
- 42:01Speaker 1: h h CBC US. It was supposed to be, you know,
- 42:07Speaker 1: start with universes and colleges for blacks. That worked close
- 42:13Speaker 1: enough QCB now, and you know, I just wanted to
- 42:18Speaker 1: go no, ask me something, then you don't let me
- 42:21Speaker 1: finish what? No, I'm sorry, I didn't mean to interrupt
- 42:24Speaker 1: you go ahead, sister, Well I do now, because i'd
- 42:27Speaker 1: have lost my train the pod. I just I was
- 42:30Speaker 1: gonna ask you since you're the town there, are there
- 42:33Speaker 1: going to feature your segment in the documentary? That's probably not?
- 42:37Speaker 1: Probably not? Why not? You know, because I kept my
- 42:41Speaker 1: mission uniform on the whole time. That ain't what they
- 42:43Speaker 1: were doing down there. Yes, Carley, Well you know documentary
- 42:53Speaker 1: is produced by Luke, Uncle Luke, Luke Campbell and Jermaine Dupris.
- 42:57Speaker 1: Do you know Luke? Yeah? I know Luke. So how
- 43:00Speaker 1: you know him? Well? I knew his granddaddy's soup, soup,
- 43:07Speaker 1: Cambell soup. Was he wild like his nephew Luke? Yeah,
- 43:13Speaker 1: he was crazy. He was always in the kitchen cooking though,
- 43:17Speaker 1: you know, and it was while they had women in
- 43:19Speaker 1: the kitchen all the time. And that's why that's how well,
- 43:23Speaker 1: that's how he put all the women's names in the soup.
- 43:26Speaker 1: That's how he came up with U with Camel's alphabet soup.
- 43:30Speaker 1: He had all the girls names. That's what he names.
- 43:34Speaker 1: That was his name. Soup who baby, Soup Baby. That
- 43:41Speaker 1: was his grand daddy. I know that. I knew Luke
- 43:43Speaker 1: was gonna be a wild boy when he was when
- 43:45Speaker 1: he was young. And I seen him when he was
- 43:46Speaker 1: a child, just running around, always chasing girls, and I
- 43:50Speaker 1: always paying tagging it. He never had no pants on.
- 43:55Speaker 1: I said, this boy right here, and he was in eleven,
- 43:58Speaker 1: just running around with no pays, no shout. Okay, well,
- 44:04Speaker 1: we'll look out for the documentary and your part in it,
- 44:07Speaker 1: sister Odell, whatever that is. Luke was a wild boy.
- 44:11Speaker 1: He was a blessed little child too. Hit Coming up next,
- 44:15Speaker 1: we'll have the Nephew and the prank phone call right
- 44:17Speaker 1: after this you're listening to show coming up in about
- 44:25Speaker 1: four minutes after the hour. It's my Strawberry letter for
- 44:27Speaker 1: today and the subject is my baby daddy and his
- 44:31Speaker 1: teeny bopper. Okay, we'll get into that and just a
- 44:35Speaker 1: few Yeah. Right now, it is time for the Nephew
- 44:39Speaker 1: and today's prank phone Call. Nephew, this right here, Oh
- 44:46Speaker 1: let me see, how about moaning and what you just
- 44:49Speaker 1: just you know, the commitment to stupidit. This this is
- 44:53Speaker 1: um you've seen Paris, don't know, this is this is
- 44:59Speaker 1: Paris site, but this is this is parasites in the
- 45:02Speaker 1: you know what. So just just just just just I know,
- 45:06Speaker 1: I know, I know. Just yeah, just just ride with me. Okay,
- 45:12Speaker 1: just ride with me. You're just gonna call it. We're
- 45:15Speaker 1: just gonna call it parasites right now, parasites. Uh, can't
- 45:19Speaker 1: dog get your hood? Hello? Hello, I'm trying to reach O. Brian. Brian. Yeah, yeah,
- 45:25Speaker 1: hey Brian, this is doctor Jacob. How you doing today? Yeah, yeah,
- 45:29Speaker 1: I'm doing. I'm okay. Listen. You actually came in uh
- 45:34Speaker 1: maybe like two and a half weeks ago here to
- 45:36Speaker 1: my office and got a physical for for life insurance.
- 45:39Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, yeah right right yeah, everything okay, well yeah, yeah,
- 45:42Speaker 1: everything's gonna be pretty good. I'd like to see if
- 45:44Speaker 1: I can get you to come in and I you know,
- 45:48Speaker 1: everything's gonna be fine. But I got a small procedure
- 45:50Speaker 1: we'd like to do to actually, uh you know, right now,
- 45:53Speaker 1: you're not approved for your life insurance to do until
- 45:56Speaker 1: this procedure has done. So if you don't mind coming in,
- 45:59Speaker 1: we we'd like to get you Jake and Caro. When
- 46:01Speaker 1: can I schedule you to come in like a maybe
- 46:03Speaker 1: tomorrow or the following day. Yeah, what kind of procedure is? Well, actually,
- 46:08Speaker 1: I don't know if you've heard of it. This is
- 46:09Speaker 1: an okayostrmy. No, I got something that's gonna do my eyes?
- 46:14Speaker 1: What's that? So it's some dude. You wasn't that I'm
- 46:17Speaker 1: doing my eyes? I ain't heard what's that? No? No,
- 46:20Speaker 1: okayostramy has nothing to do with the eyes, No, nothing
- 46:23Speaker 1: at all. We found a little bit of parasites in
- 46:26Speaker 1: a particular area, and what we want to do is
- 46:28Speaker 1: make sure we just remove it completely and you'll be fine.
- 46:32Speaker 1: You'll get your life in Ferris, You're and your family
- 46:34Speaker 1: will be great. So can I get you to come
- 46:36Speaker 1: in tomorrow maybe Thursday afternoon? And fine? What what area?
- 46:40Speaker 1: I found the parasite? And actually one of your testicles
- 46:44Speaker 1: has some parasites. So what we're gonna do is what's
- 46:46Speaker 1: called a okayostrmy and okayoshtrim me is actually removing that
- 46:50Speaker 1: testicle completely and then everything gonna be fine. It's all
- 46:54Speaker 1: confined and we'll be able to remove it. You'll be
- 46:56Speaker 1: on your way, you'll get your life insurance and everything
- 46:58Speaker 1: will be fine. Okay, Like I said, can I get
- 47:01Speaker 1: to can I? Can I get you to come in tomorrow?
- 47:02Speaker 1: What what gotta take my testicle? Well? Only one? Only one,
- 47:08Speaker 1: and it's not going to take along. It's a thirty
- 47:09Speaker 1: minute procedure. But we want to get you to come
- 47:11Speaker 1: in tomorrow or the next day. Can we get you
- 47:14Speaker 1: to well? What they are you available? I just want
- 47:16Speaker 1: it for a routine too. How I got to remove
- 47:18Speaker 1: a test sir? You know what, oftentimes when people come
- 47:21Speaker 1: in for life insurance, these type of things happen. So
- 47:25Speaker 1: we want to get you in and get it out
- 47:26Speaker 1: as quickly as possible. Nah. Man, I went in for
- 47:30Speaker 1: a routine physical. Man, I wasn't supposed to be taking
- 47:32Speaker 1: all this extra stuff. Man, I get a parasite and
- 47:34Speaker 1: my testical. You don't remove a testicle. Man, I'm twenty five. Man,

- 47:40Speaker 1: be that I got to move a testicle. Let me
- 47:41Speaker 1: say this to you, Brian, You're gonna be completely fine.
- 47:44Speaker 1: You'll be able to create children. You'll be able to
- 47:46Speaker 1: live a normal life. You know, you'll just see. Um,
- 47:49Speaker 1: you won't have all of them, but you'll have enough
- 47:51Speaker 1: to create children, you understand. Nah, I mean I can't. Nah,
- 47:55Speaker 1: I ain't gonna. I can't come in for that. Nah.
- 47:57Speaker 1: Sure is there any way I can get you into
- 48:00Speaker 1: or tomorrow afternoon or a Thursday afternoon so we can
- 48:03Speaker 1: kind of get this thing taken care of and we
- 48:05Speaker 1: can get you moving on your way, and the people
- 48:07Speaker 1: can get the life insurance papers together and so forth. Nah. Man, Man,
- 48:11Speaker 1: we ain't rescheduling now. I need a second or third
- 48:13Speaker 1: opinion on that man he's talking about taking with one

- 48:50Speaker 1: I ain't ain't going in for none of that. Man,
- 48:52Speaker 1: I'm for to tell my wife. Man, this this ain't cool. Man,
- 48:54Speaker 1: I ain't going into that. Man. I'm rescheduling it. Man,
- 48:56Speaker 1: you're what do you mean You're rescheduling, sir, what we
- 48:59Speaker 1: can get. I'm getting another opinion. I ain't going ahead
- 49:01Speaker 1: for there, okay, but I'm trying to make you a
- 49:03Speaker 1: big baller shot caller. You know, Man, what is your name?
- 49:07Speaker 1: And he says, doctor you and making little jokes? Man,
- 49:09Speaker 1: ain't you're doing a little play on words. But it
- 49:10Speaker 1: ain't even funny. And I'm calling it insurance funny telling

- 49:16Speaker 1: he ain't funny. Man. You're making a little treat Man,
- 49:18Speaker 1: ain't funny. Man, mean, we're thinking opin Man, after getting
- 49:21Speaker 1: all of the work that we got, the blood work,
- 49:23Speaker 1: the YearIn word there complete physical that's when we didn't
- 49:27Speaker 1: realize that you had parasites in a particular area. So
- 49:30Speaker 1: what we're trying, I'm not. I don't mean I try
- 49:32Speaker 1: to make a light of make humor in it, just
- 49:34Speaker 1: to make you feel a little bit more comfortable. I apologize,
- 49:37Speaker 1: all right. That ain't funny, man, you want losing? That
- 49:40Speaker 1: ain't funny. Man. If I had a situation and nursing
- 49:42Speaker 1: would have told me, then you ain't tell me nothing. Man,
- 49:44Speaker 1: have me thinking I'm all doing Now you're telling me
- 49:46Speaker 1: I got to come in to move with tests on
- 49:48Speaker 1: he We had to run tests on you, sir. We
- 49:51Speaker 1: got test back when you do have the parasites, and
- 49:53Speaker 1: what we want to do is to make sure we're
- 49:55Speaker 1: get them completely cleared out. The only way I can
- 49:58Speaker 1: clear that out is to remove that testicle. Man, it's

- 51:01Speaker 1: I'm not gonna tell you I ain't gonna bring this sharna.
- 51:10Speaker 1: Man's not something that's transmitted. It doesn't come from another
- 51:14Speaker 1: another human being. It just develops in one out of
- 51:17Speaker 1: every three or four million people. You actually have it, Brian,
- 51:21Speaker 1: I got it extracted from you. You try to tell
- 51:23Speaker 1: me I'm gonna man, you're not gonna come. Fine, there's
- 51:30Speaker 1: something else that you have and I haven't told you about.

- 53:58Speaker 1: could be you. There's something Buckle up the whole long time.
- 54:02Speaker 1: We got it for you. Here it is strawberry letter
- 54:05Speaker 1: just for you, nephew, Thank you. Subject my baby daddy
- 54:09Speaker 1: and his teeny bopper. All right, there's Stephen Shirley. I'm
- 54:13Speaker 1: a thirty seven year old mother, single mother, and my
- 54:16Speaker 1: twelve year old daughter finally got into the performing arts
- 54:19Speaker 1: school on the other side of town. When I say
- 54:22Speaker 1: other side of town, you know what I mean. My
- 54:25Speaker 1: daughter is thriving at her new school, and she's invited
- 54:28Speaker 1: to birthday parties and lake houses and things she's never
- 54:31Speaker 1: been exposed to. I'm happy for all of that because
- 54:34Speaker 1: she needed to be exposed to the other way of
- 54:37Speaker 1: life that I can't give her just yet. As a
- 54:40Speaker 1: single mother, the child's support from her daddy isn't enough
- 54:43Speaker 1: to pay for tuition, so she's on scholarship. Her daddy
- 54:47Speaker 1: isn't on board with the school because he said the
- 54:49Speaker 1: teachers are racist, and those students treat our daughter like
- 54:52Speaker 1: she's different because of her hair and skin color. I
- 54:56Speaker 1: don't want him to put those racist thoughts in her head.
- 54:59Speaker 1: But he's a hood at and the teeny bopper he's
- 55:02Speaker 1: dating is just as hood rich as he is. He
- 55:06Speaker 1: drives a big, raggedy, high end car and it rattles,
- 55:10Speaker 1: but because it's a status car for him, he doesn't care.
- 55:13Speaker 1: He's pulled it up to my daughter's school and she
- 55:16Speaker 1: doesn't want to get in it. He thinks she's ashamed
- 55:18Speaker 1: of him, and I think she is. His girlfriend came
- 55:22Speaker 1: to her dance recital with a tricolored wig and long
- 55:26Speaker 1: nails with diamonds all over them. I won't even mention
- 55:30Speaker 1: the tiny little dress she had on. My daughter didn't
- 55:33Speaker 1: even want to meet her. This was the first time
- 55:36Speaker 1: I saw her classmates and the parents looked at us
- 55:38Speaker 1: like we were different. I'm not with the racist looks
- 55:41Speaker 1: at all, But I want my daughter's father to get
- 55:43Speaker 1: himself together and be more presentable and choose better women.
- 55:47Speaker 1: Whoever he dates will be around our daughter. So that's
- 55:51Speaker 1: reason enough for me. Why do grown men like teeny
- 55:54Speaker 1: boppers and why would he bring this heffa to the school? Okay,
- 56:00Speaker 1: that might be the answer right there. You don't like
- 56:04Speaker 1: your ex's girlfriend because she's so much younger, and you
- 56:08Speaker 1: don't like the way she dresses in all of that.
- 56:10Speaker 1: But before we get into that, let me just say
- 56:12Speaker 1: this racism is real. We do know that it exists
- 56:16Speaker 1: in the workplace, at the grossery store, at church, everywhere
- 56:19Speaker 1: in school. I'm sure it's in your daughter's school. It
- 56:22Speaker 1: is not a figment of our imagination. But really, this
- 56:26Speaker 1: letter isn't about racism. You said your daughter is thriving
- 56:30Speaker 1: at this school. You said she has a wonderful social
- 56:33Speaker 1: life with her classmates. Outside of school, she's being exposed
- 56:36Speaker 1: to a whole different way of life that you can't
- 56:38Speaker 1: give her because you're a single parent. You can't do that. Yet,
- 56:42Speaker 1: you said that if she wasn't at the school, she
- 56:44Speaker 1: wouldn't be, you know, have the things that she has
- 56:48Speaker 1: right now. Okay, I say exposure is everything for kids,
- 56:52Speaker 1: and this letter is about your daughter. The problem is daddy,
- 56:57Speaker 1: that's the problem. Why would he want to embarrass his
- 57:00Speaker 1: baby girl when she's doing so well. This should only
- 57:04Speaker 1: be about your daughter and her education right now, not
- 57:07Speaker 1: daddy and his girlfriend and all of that. I'm happy
- 57:10Speaker 1: he's paying child support, but that doesn't give him the
- 57:13Speaker 1: right to make a spectacle of himself at school, at
- 57:16Speaker 1: her recitals and stuff. Her father is not considering the
- 57:21Speaker 1: daughter's feelings at all when he comes to participate in
- 57:24Speaker 1: her school activities. He needs to lead girlfriend at home.
- 57:27Speaker 1: I mean, I just think there's a time and place
- 57:29Speaker 1: for everything, and her school activities are not it. I
- 57:32Speaker 1: think you still, like I said, put your daughter first
- 57:35Speaker 1: in all of this. You need to have a serious
- 57:37Speaker 1: talk with your ex. And I'm just afraid he won't
- 57:41Speaker 1: hear you though. I'm afraid of that because he's already
- 57:43Speaker 1: already doing what he's gonna do. Steve Well, it ain't
- 57:48Speaker 1: that he don't hear her. It's just that the problem
- 57:52Speaker 1: with this whole letter is homeboy not gonna change. Homeboy,
- 57:58Speaker 1: don't see. And here's what I want her to remember.
- 58:04Speaker 1: Remember you married him. He ain't done that much change
- 58:08Speaker 1: a matter of fact, the problem is he won't change.
- 58:12Speaker 1: So this was who you're married. Remember that. Now, let's
- 58:18Speaker 1: just keep that amount now. It's not your fault. None
- 58:20Speaker 1: of this is your fault, because I think you're doing
- 58:22Speaker 1: an excellent job as a single mother. Really do. I
- 58:25Speaker 1: applause for exposing your daughters. She finally got into that
- 58:30Speaker 1: performing art school on the other side of the town.
- 58:32Speaker 1: We know exactly what you mean, and she's thriving at
- 58:35Speaker 1: the new school. She gets invited the birthday parties in lake,
- 58:39Speaker 1: houses and things she's never been exposed to. See, that's important. See,
- 58:44Speaker 1: you can forget a name, you can forget a moment,
- 58:48Speaker 1: but you can never forget exposure. Exposure is critical in
- 58:53Speaker 1: people's lives, young and old, because exposure, you can never
- 58:58Speaker 1: forget what you would expose. Once you get exposed to
- 59:02Speaker 1: the right thing, you don't forget it. The better thing,
- 59:05Speaker 1: you don't forget it. The more expensive thing, you never
- 59:08Speaker 1: forget it. The better tasting thing, you don't forget it.
- 59:11Speaker 1: The better trip, you don't forget it, the better way
- 59:15Speaker 1: of life, you don't forget it. When you get exposed
- 59:20Speaker 1: to first class seats on an airplane, you don't forget it.
- 59:24Speaker 1: It makes it hard to walk past them seats once
- 59:28Speaker 1: you get exposed. So what you're doing for your daughter
- 59:31Speaker 1: is outstanding. It's exposure. It's gonna spark and ignite a
- 59:35Speaker 1: flame in her that nobody will be able to put out.
- 59:40Speaker 1: And you say you're happy for that because she needed
- 59:42Speaker 1: to be exposed to the other life that you can't
- 59:44Speaker 1: give a jest yet, Well, I beg your pardon, but
- 59:47Speaker 1: you are giving it too. It is because of the
- 59:50Speaker 1: base that you have created as a single mother. It
- 59:54Speaker 1: is because of the learning environment that you fostered as
- 59:56Speaker 1: a single mother has enabled your daughter to thrive and
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: be put into these other special programs. So don't downplay
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: your role, sisters. You's a bad girl. Congratulations. All single
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: mothers are doing everything and they power to make their
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: children have a better life. We get back, I'll tell
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: you the rest of it, all right, All right, hang on.
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: Part two of Steve's Strawberry Letter. Response is coming up
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: at twenty three minutes after the hour. Today's title my
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: baby Daddy and his teeny Bopper. We'll get back into
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: it right after this. You're listening, all right, Come on, Steve,
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: let's recap today's Strawberry letter. The subject my baby daddy
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: and his teeny bopper. Yeah, well, this single mother who
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: has done an outstanding job raising this girl, this daughter
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: of hers, has been accepted in this performing arts school
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: on the other side of town. And it's not being
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: exposed to all types of things that she wouldn't going
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: out to lake house parties and getting invited to different things.
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: And she's happy. And the girl is not only happy,
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: she's thriving. I ben't at the school doing really well.
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: And she said and I'm happy for all that because
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: she needed to be exposed to the other way of
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: life that I can't give a jest yet as a
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: single mother. But I want to stop you for one
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: second here and let me talk to you and all
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: other single mothers. Get your head up, because it wasn't
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: for you providing the atmosphere for her to thrive. It
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: wasn't for you providing her the atmosphere to qualify to
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: get on the other side of the town. If it
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: wasn't for your love and supporting sacrifice, your daughter wouldn't
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: be living in an environment that will allow her to
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: excel to even make it to the other side. So,
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: first of all, congratulations chief. Now the child support from
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: her daddy isn't enough to pay tuition, so she's on scholarship.
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: Her daddy ain't on board with the school because he
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: say the teachers are racist and those students street our
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: daughters like she's different because of her hand skin. Called. Okay, true, Okay,
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: now that you got that out the way, all this
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: you talking true? Now, Okay, Now what your daughter ain't
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: the first person gonna see racism, and this ain't her
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: last time looking at it, and everybody at the school
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: ain't racist. All the teachers ain't racist. Sorry that maybe
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: one up there, you know, but they're not not all
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: of them. They're inviting your daughter to places, they're accepting her. Now,
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: they're looking at her different because I had her skin.
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: So you know how many times that's gonna happen. Ask
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: any adult black person hid feel to be the only
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: one in the office, hide feel to be the only
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: one in the department, the only one on the elevator,
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: the only one on the bus hide field, the only
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: one on the floor hide field. Because we do it
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: every day and we've been doing it. Your daughter ain't
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: gonna get sheltered and protected from that because that's what
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: the other side is. It's more of them than us.
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: So deal with it or just welcome to the United
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: States of America. It is what it is. But your
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: daughter's thrived and she'll be just fine now. And I
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: don't want him put those racist thoughts in her head.
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: But he's a hood rat and a teeny bopter he's
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: dating is just as hood rich as he is. Well,
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: let's try to remember that you married the hood rat.
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: This is your choice. You made the decision, as all
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: of us we make mistakes in life. Now we're dealing
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: with it, and now he drives a big, raggedy high
- 1:03:36Speaker 1: end carn It rattles. But because it's a status cough
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: for him, he don't care. I had one of them.
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: I had whatever. I had a nineteen eighty one gray
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: market Mercedes that a dude gave to me as part
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: of a deal with a comedy club. It was tainted, beautiful,
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: It was blue with a cream and tear, had a
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: fire stinguisher understand seat, That's how you know it's gray market.
- 1:04:02Speaker 1: I couldn't get insurance on it because America don't ensure
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: gray market cars. Gray market cars mean cars that come
- 1:04:09Speaker 1: from overseas. That's a great market car. You can't get
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: emissions tests, you can't get none of that. Though. I
- 1:04:15Speaker 1: had a great market nineteen eighty one, big body being
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: so I couldn't tell me nothing. But it leaked hydraulic fluid,
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: so every morning that I came out it was flat
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: on the ground. I had to put folk quarts a
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: hydraulic fluid in it just to cut it on and
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: get it to raise up so I can drive her.
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: Daddy's car is doing about to school. Oh it's rattling
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: that he drives big rated cars instead, and he don't care.
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: He's pulled up to my daughter school and she don't
- 1:04:48Speaker 1: want to get in it. Hell he's car I ain't.
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: He got realms on it, loud ass music, it's been
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: raised up. He got twenty folds on it. Daddy right.
- 1:05:09Speaker 1: He thinks she's ashamed of him, and I think she
- 1:05:11Speaker 1: is too. She is she ashamed of the daddy and
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: what he drives. His girlfriend came to her dance recital
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: with a tricolor wig on here we go, Here we go, pink,
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: orange and blonde. So now this wig looks like his
- 1:05:32Speaker 1: knee on. I recommend one color. Let's just go with
- 1:05:41Speaker 1: one color. It can be blonde. You could go with burgundy,
- 1:05:47Speaker 1: you can go with auburn. You can pick any color.
- 1:05:49Speaker 1: But Jeff one, once you try color, it's been to
- 1:05:53Speaker 1: be shocking. It's like a little it's like a little
- 1:05:57Speaker 1: baby to walk around and at Easter with a neon
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: green Easter dress on, and it just looked like the
- 1:06:04Speaker 1: loud dress is walking up in the front by myself.
- 1:06:08Speaker 1: And then the first time I saw her classmates and
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: pants looked at us like we was different. Well, you know.
- 1:06:13Speaker 1: Come on now you're there with the tricolored wig on,
- 1:06:15Speaker 1: long as niggles with diamonds on and little booty shirt
- 1:06:19Speaker 1: boo boot booty dress on. You know how they're gonna
- 1:06:22Speaker 1: look at you. It just ain't appropriate for school. Had
- 1:06:24Speaker 1: nothing to do with you being black. It's just an
- 1:06:26Speaker 1: inappropriate outfit the way up to the school. At home.
- 1:06:29Speaker 1: Whoever he dates will be around our daughter. Why the
- 1:06:32Speaker 1: grown me and day Tina bobble because he hood rat?
- 1:06:35Speaker 1: You married him. You knew that, all right. He was
- 1:06:38Speaker 1: the best thing he had and he couldn't hang on
- 1:06:39Speaker 1: too la. Comment on today's Strawberry Letter on Instagram and
- 1:06:43Speaker 1: Steve Harvey f them and check out the Strawberry Letter
- 1:06:46Speaker 1: podcast on demand. Coming up next, it is Junior and
- 1:06:50Speaker 1: Sports Talk right after this. You're listening, all right? It
- 1:06:57Speaker 1: is time now for Junior and Sports talk. What you junior?
- 1:07:00Speaker 1: All right? Shirley's NBA playoff time, But it's play in
- 1:07:04Speaker 1: tournament time right now. Last night the Elanta Hawks beat
- 1:07:08Speaker 1: the Miami Heat, won sixteen to one oh five. They
- 1:07:11Speaker 1: secure the seventh seed. Yeah, they got the seventh seed, man,
- 1:07:16Speaker 1: come on eighteen? Then then we got another one man.
- 1:07:20Speaker 1: Let me tell you, man, the Lakers pulled it off
- 1:07:22Speaker 1: an old t one o eight to one oh two
- 1:07:25Speaker 1: over the Minnesota Minnesota tipper Wolves. Come on, Lebron, they
- 1:07:29Speaker 1: they're not playing, man. These Lakers look dangerous. Man. You
- 1:07:33Speaker 1: just don't want to try them out. I don't want
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: to get out Ron. It's hard, man, it's hard. But
- 1:07:40Speaker 1: he in there. So you know, they lock up the
- 1:07:43Speaker 1: seventh seed in the West, and we're gonna see what
- 1:07:46Speaker 1: happens tonight, man, because we got the Bulls and Rappors
- 1:07:48Speaker 1: tonight and then the Thunders and Pelicans. That this playing
- 1:07:50Speaker 1: tournament and too much, too much to keep up with.
- 1:07:55Speaker 1: If you didn't do well in the regular season. It's
- 1:07:57Speaker 1: not our fault. You just shouldn't be in a playoff.
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: You't win up games, it's hard to keep up with
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: all others. Yeah, you know, they're trying to make it
- 1:08:06Speaker 1: where more people can have access to the playoffs. But
- 1:08:08Speaker 1: it's the NBA. The NBA is the greatest league of
- 1:08:12Speaker 1: sports that there is. To me, I think that the
- 1:08:15Speaker 1: league is set up the greatest. That dog the NBA,
- 1:08:19Speaker 1: man is something. But then again, I like the way
- 1:08:22Speaker 1: the NFL is set up to the NFL I just
- 1:08:25Speaker 1: don't like the way the treatment of the players in
- 1:08:27Speaker 1: the NFL because you can't do that to the basketball.
- 1:08:31Speaker 1: You're not doing that. Oh so you're not doing that.
- 1:08:33Speaker 1: These dudes and stall they ain't got no helmet on day.
- 1:08:35Speaker 1: You know who they are when you see them. Yeah.
- 1:08:39Speaker 1: Can you imagine if they had a play in in
- 1:08:42Speaker 1: the NFL, he'd be through it'd be too much. Well,
- 1:08:44Speaker 1: you can't do that. It's too physically demanding of a sport.
- 1:08:48Speaker 1: They having a hard time when they added them extra,
- 1:08:51Speaker 1: that extra from fourteen to sixteen. Man, they having a
- 1:08:56Speaker 1: problem with that. Bro, But that's a beat man. Yeah,
- 1:09:01Speaker 1: nobody's playing at this point. That's not hurt. Well, let
- 1:09:04Speaker 1: me answer. This just also happened. Odell Beckham Junior signs
- 1:09:07Speaker 1: with the Ravens. Did that mean Lamar Jackson staying? He
- 1:09:11Speaker 1: signed with Ray one year, fifteen million guarantee. It's Lamar Jackson,
- 1:09:15Speaker 1: go stay in Baltimore. I don't care who you signed.
- 1:09:18Speaker 1: If you don't give me my money, I don't know.
- 1:09:23Speaker 1: The city is irrelevant. You can gonna sign the Rock Obama,
- 1:09:29Speaker 1: you don't give me my money out, I don't get
- 1:09:31Speaker 1: my money, man, I don't know. What to clare you
- 1:09:33Speaker 1: that's shut up there. Yeah, Junior, we'll be back with
- 1:09:42Speaker 1: mar of this crazy show right after this. You're listening,
- 1:09:51Speaker 1: all right, Steve, This is for you. Tanya and Arizona says.
- 1:09:54Speaker 1: I'm a single mom of an eighteen year old son,
- 1:09:56Speaker 1: and he just got his driver's license because he got
- 1:09:59Speaker 1: a girlfriend and was finally ready to drive. I guess
- 1:10:02Speaker 1: he finally wanted to drive, so he'd had somewhere to
- 1:10:05Speaker 1: have sex. He's had sex in my car multiple times
- 1:10:08Speaker 1: and tried to lie about it. He got mad at
- 1:10:11Speaker 1: me when I questioned him and said it's my fault
- 1:10:13Speaker 1: he has sex in the car because I'm too strict
- 1:10:16Speaker 1: to let his girlfriend spend the night in his room.
- 1:10:18Speaker 1: Is this what parents are allowing nowadays? Am I being
- 1:10:21Speaker 1: too strict? Well, that's what dumba asked parents is allowing
- 1:10:27Speaker 1: exactly what they're doing. Yeah, I said, that's what dumba
- 1:10:33Speaker 1: asked parents is doing. Yeah, all co signed for this
- 1:10:37Speaker 1: ignorant ass message. Right when they gonna do it anyway,
- 1:10:40Speaker 1: it's better to do it here than they sneaking. No,
- 1:10:42Speaker 1: it's not. It's better that you don't give consent. Right,
- 1:10:47Speaker 1: It don't make no sense, because now when the girl
- 1:10:49Speaker 1: end up pregnant, what you gonna do? Right right now?
- 1:10:52Speaker 1: This boy eighteen, he gets to going off to college
- 1:10:55Speaker 1: and skip to the lou my doling and this little
- 1:10:57Speaker 1: girl sitting here, her whole life forever change. Yeah, see,
- 1:11:01Speaker 1: because that's what happened. These boys walk off. Now your
- 1:11:05Speaker 1: baby standing in that hole in the bag. So you
- 1:11:09Speaker 1: know what I mean. And that's a tough thing to do.
- 1:11:14Speaker 1: So sna it ain't cool. It ain't your fault. And
- 1:11:18Speaker 1: couldn't letting them use your damn car. See that's what
- 1:11:21Speaker 1: we do. See right here, See we can fix this
- 1:11:23Speaker 1: right now. You having sex in my car. This car
- 1:11:27Speaker 1: takes me to work. This ain't for you to have
- 1:11:30Speaker 1: sex in it now period. You can't use the car.
- 1:11:33Speaker 1: Get your ass at Uber right and don't question yourself,
- 1:11:37Speaker 1: your your parenting. Hell no, this ain't no motoring end.
- 1:11:40Speaker 1: This is a car. You're using it as the motor
- 1:11:43Speaker 1: in That ain't what this is. It's not an end.
- 1:11:46Speaker 1: Try to have sex in at Uber and see what happened. Yeah,
- 1:11:50Speaker 1: and see I see, I see I cut some of
- 1:11:53Speaker 1: this mess down. Yeah, okay, you had sex in the car.
- 1:11:56Speaker 1: That's that's that's forty five days, you can't use oh yeah,
- 1:12:00Speaker 1: sexy car again. Okay, that's three months. You can't use PERI.
- 1:12:04Speaker 1: That's all be the parrot. Is that what Paris is doing? Yeah,
- 1:12:09Speaker 1: that's what they doing. But that on what you need
- 1:12:10Speaker 1: to do, right, that's right. And then he asked, I'm
- 1:12:14Speaker 1: talking about this your fault. Well okay, well let me.
- 1:12:15Speaker 1: I'm gonna help you stop it being my fault right immediately.
- 1:12:21Speaker 1: I think we have time for another one, Steve. This
- 1:12:23Speaker 1: one's from Scent and Monroe, since says, I went to
- 1:12:27Speaker 1: my cousin's bachelor party and some freaky stuff went down
- 1:12:30Speaker 1: with the two dancers I brought. My cousin's Beyonce has
- 1:12:34Speaker 1: been bothering me to tell her what went down at
- 1:12:36Speaker 1: the party. My cousin hasn't paid me or the girls
- 1:12:39Speaker 1: for doing the party, so I told him either I
- 1:12:42Speaker 1: got my money or his Beyonce will find out about
- 1:12:45Speaker 1: the threesome he had after the party. My own relative
- 1:12:50Speaker 1: is doing me, daddy, Should I tell on him? Okay? Okay? Dog?
- 1:12:55Speaker 1: Oh do you out of love? Do you out of love?
- 1:12:59Speaker 1: First of all, it's his bachelor party. He ain't supposed
- 1:13:02Speaker 1: to pay for the girls. All, y'all dudes is supposed
- 1:13:05Speaker 1: to throw the party for him. See this new stuff.
- 1:13:08Speaker 1: He ain't paid for the girl. Now look man, y'all
- 1:13:11Speaker 1: set him up to do this here. Now you're gonna
- 1:13:13Speaker 1: tell if you don't get no money, what kind of
- 1:13:16Speaker 1: assisted that me? Hey man, hey man, okay, okay, listen
- 1:13:20Speaker 1: to me. First of all, if your little podcast dude
- 1:13:24Speaker 1: don't write in here no more advice. No, that ain't
- 1:13:28Speaker 1: no damn advice. You gonna If he don't pay me
- 1:13:31Speaker 1: my money, I'm gonna tell tell my cousin. Man, what
- 1:13:35Speaker 1: kind of messages that dog? I'm kind of fothering. What
- 1:13:37Speaker 1: kind of relative are you? Dog? That dog? Dog? That
- 1:13:41Speaker 1: ain't the deal? No kind of way. You find some
- 1:13:44Speaker 1: other way to get your money. Man, you go to
- 1:13:46Speaker 1: the other dudes that was at the party or something.
- 1:13:49Speaker 1: But damn dog, you're talking about telling the cousin. Man,
- 1:13:53Speaker 1: can you? Hey man, don't call I will. I don't
- 1:13:56Speaker 1: like dudes like this. I don't like little dudes like man,
- 1:14:00Speaker 1: go off, be a man. That ain't what you do

- 1:14:41Speaker 1: that Drake the Rapper Drake and Rick Ross look alike?
- 1:14:44Speaker 1: If you guys, Ross, I see him, I know, all right,
- 1:14:52Speaker 1: So check this out, Rick Ross twines. Rick Ross was
- 1:14:57Speaker 1: in Jamaica over the weekend and while he was doing
- 1:15:00Speaker 1: a live Instagram video, two women popped in on his video.
- 1:15:04Speaker 1: He turned to them and asked do you know my name?
- 1:15:07Speaker 1: And the ladies hesitated and then one of them said,
- 1:15:10Speaker 1: I do Drake. Rick Ross replied incorrect, I'm the big belly,
- 1:15:15Speaker 1: rude boy. Then Ross shouted out Drake in a video
- 1:15:19Speaker 1: by telling him that the people of Jamaica need him.
- 1:15:22Speaker 1: There After the video went viral, Drake responded on his
- 1:15:25Speaker 1: ig story by calling him and Ross identical twins and
- 1:15:33Speaker 1: so so a question again, how could anyone mistake Rick
- 1:15:38Speaker 1: Ross for Drake? What is what is happening? Well? Probably
- 1:15:42Speaker 1: in human hip hop rappers. A mama, That's what that was.
- 1:15:50Speaker 1: She had a couple of Bahama mama. She was live,
- 1:15:54Speaker 1: she was a Jamaica bears. It just actually proves a statement.
- 1:15:59Speaker 1: All black people look like they proving it now. They
- 1:16:06Speaker 1: proven that all rappers, you mean, all rappers look alike. Junior.
- 1:16:12Speaker 1: All right, thank you guys. Coming up in thirty three

- 1:16:31Speaker 1: you rather pure everything you eat? You're right? Yeah, you know, yeah, yeah,
- 1:16:41Speaker 1: everything baby everything wings. My aunt used to put spaghetti

- 1:19:46Speaker 1: here we are our last break of the day. We
- 1:19:49Speaker 1: do want to say thank you to our very special
- 1:19:51Speaker 1: guest this morning, the one and only Kim make sure
- 1:19:54Speaker 1: he has his live album Anniversary and his memoir Share
- 1:19:58Speaker 1: My Life, and of course Steve before we got to
- 1:20:01Speaker 1: you and before we closed the show today, we definitely
- 1:20:04Speaker 1: want to send our prayers out again to our homestation
- 1:20:07Speaker 1: wm j M Magic one on one point three FM
- 1:20:12Speaker 1: and Louisville, Kentucky in light of the tragic shootings that
- 1:20:15Speaker 1: took place there on Monday. We're praying for you Louisville. Definitely. Wow,
- 1:20:21Speaker 1: what a tragedy. It's just so you know this country
- 1:20:26Speaker 1: and I mentioned this earlier the week, so this is
- 1:20:29Speaker 1: my remarks again. A friend of mine texts me from Louisville,
- 1:20:35Speaker 1: Charles Alexander, and he said he knew the name. He
- 1:20:39Speaker 1: sent me the name of a guy a friend of
- 1:20:42Speaker 1: his who was killed in Louisville, and he said, man,
- 1:20:47Speaker 1: I just don't want another day to go by without
- 1:20:49Speaker 1: telling people that I love I love them. He said,
- 1:20:52Speaker 1: I love you, Steve, and that was his text. I
- 1:20:57Speaker 1: got that from Charles Alexander yesterday. See this thing, this
- 1:21:03Speaker 1: gun violence that we have in this country, it affects
- 1:21:07Speaker 1: all of us, sooner or later. It just so far
- 1:21:13Speaker 1: hasn't affected the necessary people. And when I say necessary people,
- 1:21:19Speaker 1: I'm talking about the ones who have the ability to
- 1:21:21Speaker 1: make a change. I'm talking to Republicans right now who
- 1:21:26Speaker 1: are constantly upholding the Second Amendment. Now, but what politicians
- 1:21:32Speaker 1: want you to believe is that the other party wants
- 1:21:36Speaker 1: to take your guns from you. That's not what the
- 1:21:40Speaker 1: other party is saying. That's not what these people are saying,
- 1:21:44Speaker 1: who are watching their loved ones get gunned down senselessly.
- 1:21:49Speaker 1: What they're saying is we need better laws. We need
- 1:21:54Speaker 1: restraint and restrictions on who and what gun you can purchase.
- 1:22:01Speaker 1: Why is a person allowed to buy an assault rifle
- 1:22:04Speaker 1: when assault rifles are made just for that for war
- 1:22:08Speaker 1: to assault. That should not be a citizen who is
- 1:22:13Speaker 1: not in the military owning assault rifles as a as
- 1:22:20Speaker 1: a gun. Also, that should be a waiting period for
- 1:22:25Speaker 1: buying guns. Also, that should be a background check for
- 1:22:30Speaker 1: buying guns. But what it really does it would cost
- 1:22:34Speaker 1: the NIA too much in sales. See, it is not
- 1:22:39Speaker 1: the cost of finding out who should have a gun.
- 1:22:43Speaker 1: It's not the cost of background checks. That's not the cost.
- 1:22:49Speaker 1: The only cost that the NIA is concerned with is
- 1:22:52Speaker 1: their bottom line, how many guns they won't be selling.
- 1:22:56Speaker 1: That's it. Period. But we live in a sick nation, man,
- 1:23:01Speaker 1: who allows this to go on continuously, over and over
- 1:23:05Speaker 1: and over and over and over again, to the point where, Man,
- 1:23:10Speaker 1: I'm tired of watching people have visuals. I feel so
- 1:23:14Speaker 1: bad for people having to have visuals. I feel so
- 1:23:17Speaker 1: badly for people to having to let balloons go at
- 1:23:21Speaker 1: night and light candles. I'm tired of telling people we're
- 1:23:27Speaker 1: gonna pray for your family to have the strift to
- 1:23:30Speaker 1: get through this when all of this, all of it
- 1:23:34Speaker 1: could be avoided if we have the courage to change
- 1:23:38Speaker 1: some laws. Now, Republicans understand what's happening. It's all about power,
- 1:23:44Speaker 1: position and money with these leaders that you have. And
- 1:23:48Speaker 1: since the n r A paid so much money to
- 1:23:50Speaker 1: these people. They go to you to get your votes,
- 1:23:53Speaker 1: and they mask it with other things. They're trying to
- 1:23:56Speaker 1: take our guns. We have the right to protect our
- 1:23:59Speaker 1: family in our homes. Ain't nobody saying you don't. Ain't
- 1:24:03Speaker 1: nobody saying you shouldn't. And everybody they're saying you don't
- 1:24:07Speaker 1: have the right. We're talking about something else, man, So
- 1:24:10Speaker 1: quit money in the water with your bs. Y'all keep
- 1:24:14Speaker 1: hiding behind this second amendment, man, when the second Amendment
- 1:24:17Speaker 1: needed to be changed, This old last piece of paper,
- 1:24:21Speaker 1: y'all got that, y'all keep ramming down people's throats. It
- 1:24:24Speaker 1: needs to be changed. You remember, this's the same old
- 1:24:28Speaker 1: last piece of paper that said black people with three
- 1:24:30Speaker 1: fifths of a human being. You remember that. That's the
- 1:24:33Speaker 1: same old last people piece of paper that said women
- 1:24:36Speaker 1: don't have the right to vote. Remember that, Remember, But
- 1:24:40Speaker 1: you change some of that stuff because you was sleeping
- 1:24:42Speaker 1: with them and they told you what you ain't gonna
- 1:24:45Speaker 1: do is keep sleeping with me, and then you tell
- 1:24:46Speaker 1: me I can't vote. Y'all tripping man and seeing then
- 1:24:51Speaker 1: y'all don't understand, man, what somebody don't want to stand.
- 1:24:54Speaker 1: When the national anthem played, why people want to kneel.
- 1:24:57Speaker 1: You don't understand, man, how people out here right and
- 1:25:00Speaker 1: your boycotting against violence against people that look like them
- 1:25:03Speaker 1: all the time. You don't understand it. You know why
- 1:25:06Speaker 1: you don't understanding because they ain't happening to you. You
- 1:25:08Speaker 1: know why you keep letting these guns being sold because
- 1:25:11Speaker 1: your kids ain't getting killed. It's other people's kids. But
- 1:25:15Speaker 1: one day, because of this law, it's gonna happen to
- 1:25:18Speaker 1: somebody that's got the power to vote. And if your child,
- 1:25:23Speaker 1: God forbid, something happens to your child, how you're gonna
- 1:25:27Speaker 1: feel about them gun laws? Then I bet you the
- 1:25:31Speaker 1: woman who had that child that you laying down with
- 1:25:34Speaker 1: gonna talk to you about your next time you go
- 1:25:36Speaker 1: up to Congress up on the heel to vote. It's
- 1:25:39Speaker 1: a damn shame it's got to come to that. But
- 1:25:42Speaker 1: that's the only way I see this thing changing, Because
- 1:25:44Speaker 1: as long as it ain't happening to you, y'all really
- 1:25:47Speaker 1: don't give a damn. So as far as I'm concerned,
- 1:25:50Speaker 1: you and that constitution, You and that Constitution until you
- 1:25:55Speaker 1: include all of us, read it to yourself, quit expect
- 1:25:59Speaker 1: him me to read it and honor it. Because you don't.
- 1:26:02Speaker 1: It's my closing remarks today. Everybody in Louisville, y'all keep
- 1:26:06Speaker 1: your head up. Man. Once again, we're praying for you.
- 1:26:09Speaker 1: I'm so tired of having to say that every two
- 1:26:12Speaker 1: weeks on the day. For all Steve Harvey contests, no
