- 0:13Speaker 1: more like amazing buck things. And it's not me true
- 0:20Speaker 1: good it Steve har listening to moving together for ste
- 0:30Speaker 1: Please Moby, I don't join by joining you doing me.
- 0:58Speaker 1: You gotta use that turn be hing. You gotta turn
- 1:40Speaker 1: to turn them out, turning, got to turn them out,
- 1:45Speaker 1: then turn the water the water go. Come come on
- 1:58Speaker 1: your faddy. Uh huh, I show will good morning everybody.
- 2:05Speaker 1: You're listening to the voice, Come on, dig me now
- 2:09Speaker 1: one it all. It's Steve Harvey got a radio show.
- 2:12Speaker 1: Well all right, I've learned something and it sharing time.
- 2:21Speaker 1: And I am ever appreciated. I do appreciate God for
- 2:27Speaker 1: all that he allows me to learn in my life.
- 2:32Speaker 1: One of the best lessons I've learned is that hardship
- 2:39Speaker 1: teaches you some great lessons. Challenges brings about some of
- 2:45Speaker 1: my best results. I think what I'm trying to say
- 2:49Speaker 1: is in every challenge and hardship, every setback, I've learned
- 2:57Speaker 1: something so so valuable. So here's what I've You know,
- 3:03Speaker 1: I've known this, but I've just learned it at a
- 3:05Speaker 1: different angle appreciation and gratitude is the key to having more. Now,
- 3:16Speaker 1: I don't know how that sound to you, but I
- 3:21Speaker 1: can't tell you how true it is. God being fair
- 3:25Speaker 1: and just as he really is. He really is. He's
- 3:28Speaker 1: a fair and a just God. What's most beneficial to
- 3:32Speaker 1: us is he happens to be full of mercy and grace.
- 3:39Speaker 1: And I'm telling you something, man, I've probably benefited from
- 3:45Speaker 1: his grace and mercy more than anything else. I mean, really, man,
- 3:52Speaker 1: if it wasn't for him just forgiving me and then
- 3:57Speaker 1: for him just huch in my life the way he
- 4:01Speaker 1: has I mean, I'm I'm not hearing this position today.
- 4:05Speaker 1: I'm just not. But a funny thing has happened along
- 4:09Speaker 1: the way, even to you. If you look at it,
- 4:14Speaker 1: is it your genuine appreciation and gratitude has been the
- 4:18Speaker 1: key to you having more for your continued blessings and
- 4:24Speaker 1: for making room for having to open up and pour
- 4:28Speaker 1: out blessings that you don't have room enough to receive.
- 4:31Speaker 1: If you look at it, see God being a fair
- 4:34Speaker 1: and just God, which he is, why would he put
- 4:40Speaker 1: more on you than you can bad? If you've noticed
- 4:44Speaker 1: everything that's happened in your life, if you're still here.
- 4:48Speaker 1: You've made it. You know, forget how rough it was,
- 4:51Speaker 1: got that, but you made it. Forget what it sent
- 4:56Speaker 1: you through when it hide made you feel you made it. Now,
- 5:03Speaker 1: what makes people give up and you hear about people
- 5:05Speaker 1: committing suicide, is they leave the God out of their
- 5:08Speaker 1: life and they start allowing that other voice to control.
- 5:14Speaker 1: And if it's really true that God never puts more
- 5:16Speaker 1: on you than you can bear, as long as you
- 5:18Speaker 1: stay connected to God, you can get through anything. But
- 5:22Speaker 1: you lose that connection, you lose that communication, you lose
- 5:29Speaker 1: that relationship with him. If you're not having a relationship
- 5:32Speaker 1: with God, then who you're having a relationship with Now
- 5:37Speaker 1: it ain't but two forces at work at all time.
- 5:42Speaker 1: It's good and evil. It's positive and negative. It's God,
- 5:49Speaker 1: it's Satan. Now, this is at work all the time.
- 5:54Speaker 1: So if you're not being positive about everything, you leave
- 5:58Speaker 1: room for negativity step in. If you're not trying to
- 6:03Speaker 1: be righteous in your way, then you allow evil to
- 6:06Speaker 1: step in. If you don't work on your relationship with God,
- 6:11Speaker 1: come on, now, look who you're letting step in. So
- 6:16Speaker 1: now I'm asking you to understand that God never puts
- 6:22Speaker 1: more on you than you can bear. Okay, now that
- 6:24Speaker 1: we got that clear, that's a fact. Okay, Now with
- 6:27Speaker 1: that fact in mind, let's go over this right here.
- 6:29Speaker 1: Why would God, being as just and merciful as he is,
- 6:35Speaker 1: put more on you than you can bear? Example, if
- 6:39Speaker 1: God has given you blessings and all you're doing is
- 6:43Speaker 1: complaining about him, you're never showing any appreciation of gratitude
- 6:48Speaker 1: about it. Why would he give you some more stuff
- 6:50Speaker 1: to be ungrateful for? Why would he give you some
- 6:53Speaker 1: more stuff to complain about? Why would he give you
- 6:56Speaker 1: some more stuff that you would not show any more
- 6:59Speaker 1: appreciation or I mean, this thing is real simple, man,
- 7:02Speaker 1: ain't it if you think about it? So? A lot
- 7:04Speaker 1: of times, man, when I was going through my positions
- 7:07Speaker 1: of not having it and wondering at all like here,
- 7:10Speaker 1: I ended up checking myself and going, man, I'm not
- 7:13Speaker 1: even showing any gratitude or appreciation for the things He
- 7:16Speaker 1: has done for me. Start showing some appreciation and gratitude
- 7:20Speaker 1: because it's the key to having more, It's the key
- 7:23Speaker 1: to continued blessings. It's the key to the wonders of
- 7:27Speaker 1: heaven opening up and pouring out a blessing that you
- 7:30Speaker 1: won't have room enough to receive. It's the appreciation and
- 7:34Speaker 1: gratitude of what you already have, as minimal as it
- 7:39Speaker 1: may appear to be right now for you, it is
- 7:42Speaker 1: still what you have. But if you've shown no gratual,
- 7:47Speaker 1: no gratitude for the minimal, why would he give you
- 7:53Speaker 1: the maximum. I mean, I'm just really just trying to
- 7:57Speaker 1: put it real, real, simple, so I can keep understanding
- 8:00Speaker 1: this thing right here. So let me give you an example.
- 8:03Speaker 1: In my life, I had gotten so busy at one
- 8:07Speaker 1: point that I had begun to complain about how busy
- 8:13Speaker 1: I was. This is true because I am busy, but
- 8:19Speaker 1: it ain't the busy part because I asked to be busy,
- 8:23Speaker 1: you know, I asked God to give me opportunities and
- 8:26Speaker 1: to make a way for me. Well, in that you
- 8:29Speaker 1: got to do something, and you got to get busy.
- 8:32Speaker 1: But I began to complain about the business and how
- 8:36Speaker 1: busy I was, and I noticed that a couple of
- 8:40Speaker 1: things slowed up for me. So I had got to
- 8:43Speaker 1: the point where I wasn't showing real gratitude for it. Well,
- 8:47Speaker 1: I looked up and a couple of things started slowing down,
- 8:50Speaker 1: and then I had to catch myself, and I went, wow, man,
- 8:54Speaker 1: you have got to start embracing the fact that you
- 8:57Speaker 1: are this busy, embraced the fact that what all comes
- 9:01Speaker 1: along with it. Because to whom much is given, much
- 9:03Speaker 1: is required. You got to start embracing the requirement part
- 9:08Speaker 1: if you want to continue with the giving part. So
- 9:12Speaker 1: I changed my attitude. I caught myself and I started
- 9:15Speaker 1: thinking him and showing real gratitude for how busy I
- 9:18Speaker 1: was instead of complaining about how busy I was. And
- 9:20Speaker 1: then guess what, It opened up the windows of heaven
- 9:23Speaker 1: and some more blessings got poured out. It just works
- 9:26Speaker 1: that way all the time, for everybody, for me, for you,
- 9:30Speaker 1: for everybody. So listen, y'all again. Your appreciation and gratitude
- 9:35Speaker 1: is the key to having more. Your appreciation and gratitude
- 9:38Speaker 1: is the key to continued blessings. And your appreciation and
- 9:41Speaker 1: gratitude it's the only way that you can get those
- 9:45Speaker 1: windows of heaven to open up and pour out to
- 9:48Speaker 1: these blessings that you won't have room enough to receive.
- 9:51Speaker 1: You gotta act like you're glad for what you got
- 9:53Speaker 1: in order to get more. You feel me, Let's go,
- 9:57Speaker 1: you're ladies and gentlemen, without further due, man, I have
- 10:09Speaker 1: you undivided attention, please, Today's show, Well, today, I'm dedicating
- 10:15Speaker 1: the show to something I used to want to be
- 10:18Speaker 1: when I was a little boy. This show is dedicated
- 10:21Speaker 1: to everybody involved in the current term. Now it's called
- 10:24Speaker 1: waste management. But if you were like me and just
- 10:28Speaker 1: wanted to hang off the back of a garbage truck,
- 10:31Speaker 1: this show is for garbage men everywhere. Man, I thought
- 10:36Speaker 1: that was the coolest gig man in the world, hanging
- 10:40Speaker 1: off the back of a garbage truck. It's changed now,
- 10:42Speaker 1: is politically correct. They're waste management, and you know they
- 10:47Speaker 1: don't hang off the back of trucks anymore. They have
- 10:49Speaker 1: fox that come out the side and dumped the truck.
- 10:52Speaker 1: They've cut a man off the back from hanging off
- 10:54Speaker 1: the back. I don't like that anymore. I missed the
- 10:57Speaker 1: world famous garbage man. Today's show is for you. Good

- 20:37Speaker 1: the nephew up next. You're listening to Steve Harvey Morning

- 20:45Speaker 1: entertainment news Terrence Howard reveals after Empire plans, Oh we
- 20:51Speaker 1: think anyway plus it's Kanye or the kids. You know what, Terrence,
- 20:55Speaker 1: you never know it's a plus. It's Kanye or the kids.
- 20:59Speaker 1: Angeline the Jolie gave her ex Brad Pitt an ultimatum.
- 21:03Speaker 1: Oh okay, we'll talk about that and all of these

- 21:46Speaker 1: he seems like he would probably need this pretty soon,
- 21:49Speaker 1: so I wanted to let you guys know it's ready. Okay,
- 21:52Speaker 1: And what exactly did he get a prescription for him? Um,

- 22:17Speaker 1: can we check the birthdays? Are you allowed to do
- 22:19Speaker 1: that with me? Oh? Definitely, definitely? It's um seventy four?
- 22:23Speaker 1: Is that correct? Yeah? Okay? And so what exactly is
- 22:26Speaker 1: a monster selling for mansa selling? Was an antibiotic, ma'am.
- 22:30Speaker 1: So any type of small infections of some sort, diseases
- 22:35Speaker 1: or whatever is it pretty much cures it. So you
- 22:38Speaker 1: telling me this nasty then got something and winning got
- 22:43Speaker 1: it on my first off. He want to seem the
- 22:45Speaker 1: doctor and got a prescription under my interest. Just try
- 22:48Speaker 1: something and he would have got something, you know what.
- 22:51Speaker 1: You know what said Brian, I'm coming down there. I'll
- 22:53Speaker 1: pick up the medicine. I don't get it. And if
- 22:55Speaker 1: people want that mention, he'll check him with me at
- 22:57Speaker 1: my counter because I got a check and he didn't
- 22:59Speaker 1: wrote that can not cast. I'm gonna beat the hell
- 23:02Speaker 1: out he do not know, he does not even you

- 23:15Speaker 1: just communist, No communist? Okay. Uh. First of all, I
- 23:20Speaker 1: want to apologize. I had no idea that you were
- 23:23Speaker 1: not aware of the actual prescription that he's that we've
- 23:26Speaker 1: just held from him, you know, just just on a

- 25:06Speaker 1: You do not know me. You don't know who I am.
- 25:08Speaker 1: You don't know who I know and what I got.
- 25:10Speaker 1: I got something for y'all? What does this prescription? Ask?

- 26:23Speaker 1: one more thing to ask you, though, what is the
- 26:25Speaker 1: baddest and I mean the baddest radio show in the
- 26:28Speaker 1: Lay Steve Morning Show? That is Mark's is selling pice
- 26:37Speaker 1: whatever it is? Your husband? Ask you a question, man,
- 26:43Speaker 1: your sir, have you ever had to take penicilla before
- 26:46Speaker 1: for the flu? Yeah? For the flure? Yeah it was
- 26:50Speaker 1: a heavy Yeah, it was a heavy flu. Heavy. Oh
- 26:54Speaker 1: that's what they called it when you first went in.
- 26:58Speaker 1: I've never heard that in the cilla to flu g
- 27:06Speaker 1: penicilla for the flu. Okay yo yo, me too. That's
- 27:12Speaker 1: what I took it. Yeah, I was, I was. I
- 27:17Speaker 1: was fluted up. I think I think most of them
- 27:21Speaker 1: had our moment. Yes are you asking? That's what I
- 27:25Speaker 1: want to know. But in front of nine million people
- 27:27Speaker 1: out of here, you ask me that. Y'all, everybody in
- 27:30Speaker 1: our age bracket didn't had to take pill it wasn't.
- 27:35Speaker 1: It wasn't but one drug. You know, it wasn't. None
- 27:38Speaker 1: of it wasn't all this old open hum and I wouldn't.
- 27:42Speaker 1: I mean no, no, it wasn't. None of that penicilla
- 27:47Speaker 1: with ciling narcotic. But and it worked different now, yeah, penicilla,
- 27:54Speaker 1: don't do it. No by you being a doctor crime
- 27:58Speaker 1: to talk mouth. I see, y, it's been hy the
- 28:08Speaker 1: ones you didn't use, you didn't throw them away? Call him?
- 28:10Speaker 1: Now you cap them? Don't they cost too much money?
- 28:15Speaker 1: All right? More of this crazy ignorant show. Steve Harvey
- 28:18Speaker 1: Morning Show. Right after this. You're listening Steve Show. All right,
- 28:25Speaker 1: So yesterday Terrence Howard received his star on the Hollywood
- 28:29Speaker 1: Walk of Fame. Congratulations to Terrence Howard and the TV
- 28:33Speaker 1: show Empire is back. We also told you that Terrence
- 28:37Speaker 1: Howard was planning to leave acting when Empire finishes. It's
- 28:40Speaker 1: run after this. Uh, okay, I'm gonna tell you ready
- 28:45Speaker 1: for this? I don't think you're ready for this? You
- 28:47Speaker 1: want to know? Let me? Yeah? Okay, let you go FIRSTY,
- 28:51Speaker 1: what do you what do you think? Uh? No, anybody
- 28:55Speaker 1: else have a guest? Okay, let's go, let's go wild
- 28:59Speaker 1: is it wild we're talking about. Think of who we're
- 29:02Speaker 1: speaking of now, Terrence Howard, you're gonna guess, yeah, if
- 29:07Speaker 1: you do modeling, No, no, there is he gonna do
- 29:14Speaker 1: what se hustling flow? No no, no pimp and no
- 29:19Speaker 1: a pilot. No okay, you just guard you guys will
- 29:24Speaker 1: never get it. He's gonna I know he can't do this,
- 29:29Speaker 1: but he's gonna try to play on the senior tool.
- 29:32Speaker 1: No okay, I'm okay. That's enough guessing, all right. Terrence says,
- 29:37Speaker 1: when Empire finishes, it's run this season, he is going
- 29:41Speaker 1: to stop so he can bring truth to the world. Okay,
- 29:45Speaker 1: so he's not gonna be a uh, he's not gonna
- 29:48Speaker 1: be a model. What is truth to the world? Okay,
- 29:55Speaker 1: we know what that truth is. Well, well, maybe in
- 29:58Speaker 1: case you missed it, Terence is Carpet Interview. You guys
- 30:01Speaker 1: see this on Sunday. It reveals some truly bizarre things.
- 30:04Speaker 1: Take a listen to this. I've made some discoveries in
- 30:07Speaker 1: my own personal life with the science that you know
- 30:11Speaker 1: Pythagoras was searching for. I was able to open up
- 30:14Speaker 1: the flower of life properly and find the real wave
- 30:17Speaker 1: conjugations that we've been looking for for ten thousand years.
- 30:21Speaker 1: Why would I continue, you know, walking on water for
- 30:24Speaker 1: tips when I've got an entire generation to teach a
- 30:27Speaker 1: whole new world? Okay, what's that? That's what he said?
- 30:35Speaker 1: You heard him? Yeah, I saw him when he said it.
- 30:38Speaker 1: So I called Carla. I was like, Carla, are you
- 30:45Speaker 1: gonna be talking to two people? Why would I retinue
- 30:49Speaker 1: you to walk on water for tips? Yeah? Huh. He's
- 30:54Speaker 1: found the secret that they've been looking for for ten
- 30:56Speaker 1: thousand years. All right, the Pandria. What do you say
- 30:58Speaker 1: to life and the flowers of life? He says he's
- 31:05Speaker 1: been able to open up the flower of life properly
- 31:07Speaker 1: and find the real wave conjugations that we've been looking for.
- 31:11Speaker 1: You heard him say that. He went on to say
- 31:14Speaker 1: he wants to put a video on YouTube that will
- 31:17Speaker 1: prove now this is a part that gravity. Gravity now
- 31:22Speaker 1: is only an effect and not a force. And we
- 31:26Speaker 1: go this just the kid, You don't if you don't
- 31:32Speaker 1: get your ass back to one of these auditions, you
- 31:37Speaker 1: don't get your Downfn's Howard is deep. Okay, He's just
- 31:43Speaker 1: a deep deep brother. Deep I walk that water all right,
- 31:50Speaker 1: all right, we're moving on. It looks like Brad Pitt
- 31:52Speaker 1: won't be able to be friends with Kanye West anymore.
- 31:55Speaker 1: This is thanks to a directive from his ex wife,
- 31:57Speaker 1: Angelina Joe Lee. This is according to Radar Online, Angelina
- 32:01Speaker 1: told Brad to stay away from Kanye or risk his
- 32:04Speaker 1: relationship with his kids. Word has it that Angelina can't
- 32:08Speaker 1: stand the Kardashians and she doesn't want her children around them,
- 32:13Speaker 1: so that could be a problem. Well are they ain't married?
- 32:15Speaker 1: No more? She can do. Yeah, And Brad loves Kanye.
- 32:18Speaker 1: He said it. He showed up at his church services
- 32:21Speaker 1: and all of that. I mean, they're friends. And Brad
- 32:24Speaker 1: can be friends if he wants to be friends with Kanye.
- 32:26Speaker 1: He has the right to be friends with Kanye. Right. Okay, Steve,
- 32:30Speaker 1: let's catch up on today's headlines. We're moving from that,
- 32:33Speaker 1: great lady and gentlemen, and it's a trip. Okay, good morning, everybody,
- 32:39Speaker 1: this is a trip. Well, after months of saying not yet,
- 32:42Speaker 1: not yet, no, no, no, how, Speaker Nancy Pelosi announced
- 32:45Speaker 1: the launch of an impeachment investigation into President Trump. I'm
- 32:48Speaker 1: announcing the House of Represented his moving forward with an
- 32:51Speaker 1: official impeachment inquiry I'm directing our six committees to proceed
- 32:55Speaker 1: with their investigations. Under that umbrella, the president must be
- 32:59Speaker 1: held accountable. No one is about the law. Pelosi's call
- 33:03Speaker 1: for an inquiry comes after an unidentified whistle blower alleged Trump,
- 33:07Speaker 1: during a phone call, tried to pressure the president of
- 33:10Speaker 1: the Ukraine into investigating a vice President Biden and his
- 33:14Speaker 1: son for financial corruption. And whistleblower says it was all
- 33:17Speaker 1: because that Trump wanted something on Biden because he looked
- 33:21Speaker 1: at him as his possible challenger for the president for
- 33:24Speaker 1: his second term. The whistle blower says he'll testify before
- 33:27Speaker 1: Congress so now. Trump says he'll release a transcript of
- 33:31Speaker 1: the conversation, although lawmakers may not accept that. They may
- 33:35Speaker 1: wish to hear the tape of the conversation. Trump calls
- 33:38Speaker 1: it all a witch hunt garbage. He's holding a four
- 33:41Speaker 1: pm news conference in New York today and tonight a
- 33:44Speaker 1: New York City fundraiser. In Texas, opening arguments began this
- 33:47Speaker 1: week in the trial of the now fired Dallas cop
- 33:50Speaker 1: named Amber Geiger. Geiger, who's white, shot and killed an innocent,
- 33:54Speaker 1: unarmed black man who lived in the apartment just above
- 33:57Speaker 1: hers last year. She claims that she'd worked a double
- 34:00Speaker 1: shift and was so tired that she parked on the
- 34:02Speaker 1: wrong level, entered Botham Jean's apartment thinking it was hers,
- 34:06Speaker 1: and shot him dead. But the prosecutor says Geiger's story
- 34:10Speaker 1: about thinking his place was hers is not credible since
- 34:13Speaker 1: there were several signs that it was not her place,
- 34:15Speaker 1: like the bright red rug that mister Jean kept outside
- 34:18Speaker 1: of his apartment. Amber Geiger has no floor mat in
- 34:21Speaker 1: front of her door. Amber Geiger has nothing but the
- 34:24Speaker 1: concrete floor, so the state says that Geiger pulled the
- 34:27Speaker 1: trigger with intent would make what she did murder. Also,
- 34:30Speaker 1: there was never any a word as to whether her
- 34:32Speaker 1: former colleagues the other cops ever gave her a breathalyzer
- 34:35Speaker 1: test after this incident. Authorities say that a former NBA
- 34:39Speaker 1: player named and Andre Emmett to was a killed early
- 34:42Speaker 1: Monday morning in Dallas about two thirty am. He was
- 34:44Speaker 1: approached by two men as he sat in his vehicle
- 34:46Speaker 1: outside of his home. Cops say one of the suspects
- 34:49Speaker 1: took out a gun, an altercation ensued, and that Emmett
- 34:51Speaker 1: was fatally shot trying to run away. Andre Emmett paid
- 34:55Speaker 1: for the Memphis Grizzlies the Jersey Nancy spent much of
- 34:57Speaker 1: his care overseas, most recently was playing and I cub
- 35:00Speaker 1: Big three League. Finally, today is national love that French day,
- 35:04Speaker 1: Si Bone. There's a deed dem they'll say that in Flinch.
- 35:10Speaker 1: Now back to Steve Happy Morning Show. You're listening to show.
- 35:16Speaker 1: President Trump's tweet about the sixteen year old climate activist
- 35:20Speaker 1: is his most ugly and most petty tweet yet. All right,
- 35:25Speaker 1: sixteen year old Greta Thunberg from Sweeten delivered that and
- 35:29Speaker 1: passion speak to speech to the United Nations Climate Action Summit,
- 35:33Speaker 1: where she called out world leaders for not responding to
- 35:36Speaker 1: the climate crisis with more urgency. Take a listen. This
- 35:40Speaker 1: is all wrong. I shouldn't be up here. I should
- 35:43Speaker 1: be back in school on the other side of the ocean.
- 35:47Speaker 1: Yet you all come to us, young people, for hope.
- 35:51Speaker 1: How dare you? You have stolen my dreams and my
- 35:55Speaker 1: childhood with your empty words. Yet I'm one of the
- 36:00Speaker 1: lucky ones. People are suffering, people are dying, and eco
- 36:06Speaker 1: systems are collapsing. We are in the beginning of a
- 36:10Speaker 1: mass extinction. And what you can talk about is the
- 36:14Speaker 1: money and fairy tales of each of economic growth. How
- 36:18Speaker 1: dare you? Wow? Wow, you know what you know, you know,
- 36:24Speaker 1: you know what's crazy. And for him to like, you know,
- 36:28Speaker 1: like pander to market, you know, he made kind of Marketer.
- 36:31Speaker 1: You know, it's like a very happy girl, this dude
- 36:35Speaker 1: right here to even take the time. No other world leader.
- 36:40Speaker 1: She was talking to all of them, none of them,
- 36:43Speaker 1: the prime ministers, no other presidents. Nobody said anything of
- 36:49Speaker 1: cruel nature. You know, a couple of I'm saying, you know,
- 36:52Speaker 1: I think we should listen to her. But we're really
- 36:55Speaker 1: the only country that's fighting right now the fact that
- 37:00Speaker 1: it's real, that this is real. He's the one that
- 37:07Speaker 1: doesn't think is real. And then for him to comment
- 37:10Speaker 1: on this young girl, yes, it doesn't make any damn
- 37:13Speaker 1: sense at all, he said. She seems like a very
- 37:15Speaker 1: happy girl looking forward to a bright and wonderful future.
- 37:18Speaker 1: So nice to see. I mean, these things go down
- 37:22Speaker 1: in history when peoples. All we have to do now
- 37:30Speaker 1: is go to the polls and vote and to assure
- 37:35Speaker 1: that he doesn't win a term for the second time.
- 37:38Speaker 1: If it doesn't happen, then he has to answer to
- 37:42Speaker 1: all of these things. But as long as he's the
- 37:45Speaker 1: sitting president, he can't be indicted. His fight right now.
- 37:49Speaker 1: He don't can't number out being president. He just don't
- 37:52Speaker 1: want these indictments to come down. And that's all he doing. Man,
- 37:56Speaker 1: He's just time. He just buying time, bro. So they
- 38:00Speaker 1: can't get themselves together. And the sad part about it
- 38:03Speaker 1: is the entire Republican Party is okaying all of them.
- 38:10Speaker 1: Every Senator, every Congressman, every Trump supporter who votes is
- 38:16Speaker 1: saying it's okay for him to break the law and
- 38:19Speaker 1: disobey the constitution. We're fine with it, Yeah, because he's
- 38:23Speaker 1: a good TV star. Wow. All right, Moving on, coming
- 38:27Speaker 1: up at thirty four after the hour, this trial is
- 38:31Speaker 1: underway for the former Dallas cop who shot her neighbor.
- 38:33Speaker 1: We're going to talk about that right after this you're
- 38:36Speaker 1: listening show. Well, the trial started yesterday for the former
- 38:42Speaker 1: Dallas cop Amber Geiger, who shot her neighbor, a black man,
- 38:47Speaker 1: both of John, a twenty six year old accountant from
- 38:50Speaker 1: the Caribbean nation of Saint Lucia. He was in his
- 38:53Speaker 1: apartment in Dallas, Texas, in his living room, eating a
- 38:56Speaker 1: bowl of vanilla ice cream. That's happened on September sixth
- 38:59Speaker 1: of two in eighteen last year, when former Dallas cop
- 39:02Speaker 1: Amber Geiger entered his apartment, shot and killed him. Geiger's
- 39:08Speaker 1: defense attorneys argued that she fired in self defense based
- 39:11Speaker 1: on the mistaken belief that she was in her home
- 39:14Speaker 1: after working a fifteen hours shift, and that she believed
- 39:17Speaker 1: that Botham John was a burglar slash intruder. However, the
- 39:21Speaker 1: prosecution said that amber Geiger had worked overtime that day,
- 39:25Speaker 1: but it was mostly involving office work that was not strenuous.
- 39:30Speaker 1: The prosecution also said that the jurors will also see
- 39:33Speaker 1: sexually explicit messages that Amber Geiger exchanged that evening with
- 39:37Speaker 1: a coworker that discussed meeting up after her shift ended.
- 39:41Speaker 1: So she was too tired. He wasn't too tired to
- 39:44Speaker 1: do whatever they tex, right, that's the point. Yeah, say
- 39:48Speaker 1: something too after working along shift? Yeah, Steve. Of course,
- 39:52Speaker 1: most people who are breaking an inner in your home
- 39:55Speaker 1: when you walk in on them, probably I'm just going
- 39:59Speaker 1: out on Liam here. Probably won't be eating a bowl
- 40:02Speaker 1: of vanilla ice cream. It probably won't be and probably
- 40:06Speaker 1: be in you know, looking a little bit more hurried. Secondly,
- 40:12Speaker 1: I've I've really been overworked a great deal in my life,
- 40:16Speaker 1: and I think that I think you all have had
- 40:19Speaker 1: some moments where you've been extremely overworked with the keys
- 40:24Speaker 1: of everything, the job, being a single mom, and then
- 40:29Speaker 1: you come in the house and I'm just trying to
- 40:31Speaker 1: figure I'm trying to sing at the times I didn't
- 40:33Speaker 1: crawled into my house. Man, I'm talking about after taping
- 40:37Speaker 1: all day, doing shows, all day, interviews all day, I'm
- 40:41Speaker 1: trying to think of when the last time I was
- 40:44Speaker 1: so tired I shot somebody because I'm tired. Man. Yeah,
- 40:49Speaker 1: now I'd cuss some people out from fatigue. I just
- 40:53Speaker 1: can't remember shooting nobody because I was tired. Yea, all stressed? Right, Well,
- 41:01Speaker 1: can you remember being so tired that you didn't know
- 41:03Speaker 1: where you lived and you were going in the wrong drive?
- 41:08Speaker 1: Have you done that? Yeah? Because she parked on she
- 41:11Speaker 1: lived one three and he lived on four, and she
- 41:13Speaker 1: parked on his level and went or something. They were
- 41:16Speaker 1: saying she parked on his level and then went in
- 41:19Speaker 1: that apartment on that level. No, no, no, no, Well
- 41:24Speaker 1: that's her point to say, why she why she was
- 41:26Speaker 1: here exactly? Well, everybody didn't have a weapon, he didn't
- 41:29Speaker 1: everybody house smell different to the It doesn't no house.
- 41:35Speaker 1: You know what your house smell like? Home? You know
- 41:38Speaker 1: something something dog? You know the moment you opened the door,
- 41:43Speaker 1: you know that ain't your key. Yeah, that ain't your plants.
- 41:47Speaker 1: Back then the door was unlocked, his door jar. The
- 41:50Speaker 1: door was a jar. Yeah, yeah, that's what she's saying.
- 41:54Speaker 1: She isn't a time to have a conversation. If I'm
- 41:56Speaker 1: standing there with a bowl like ice cream, can't you
- 41:59Speaker 1: say who are you? Hey? We talked for you. Just
- 42:02Speaker 1: don't killed me. Dog. I have a gun and you
- 42:06Speaker 1: got ice cream. I think I'm winning. A police officer,
- 42:11Speaker 1: I'm trained on the ground. Get your hands up, halt freeze.
- 42:15Speaker 1: There's a lot of things can get said. And that's
- 42:18Speaker 1: what the prosecution is arguing as well. No, man, this didn't. Yeah,
- 42:24Speaker 1: here's here's a scary part. Race. Huh. I'm concerned about
- 42:31Speaker 1: race now. Her her defense is saying he was yelling
- 42:37Speaker 1: and stuff at her because she entered his apartment so
- 42:41Speaker 1: he hey, hey, hey that and and she's saying that's
- 42:46Speaker 1: when she thought he was an intruder and that's when
- 42:50Speaker 1: she shot him. You know, you're trained police officer, you
- 42:56Speaker 1: know that someone that's breaking in. Isn't gonna say hey,
- 42:59Speaker 1: hey hey, or be unarmed? Yeah, or be unarmed. And
- 43:07Speaker 1: that's one of your training to tell you. As an officer,

- 44:09Speaker 1: my name is Mark. Are you married to Jason? Yeah? Okay,
- 44:15Speaker 1: all right, I got the right person. Listen. I don't

- 44:21Speaker 1: my my um, Like I said, my name is Mark.
- 44:24Speaker 1: I followed my wife today and I right now I'm
- 44:28Speaker 1: at a park and I'm almost certain that my wife
- 44:34Speaker 1: is right now. I'm about two or three hundred yards away,
- 44:38Speaker 1: but I'm almost certain my wife is holding hands, uh
- 44:43Speaker 1: with your husband, Jason. So on we see my husband
- 44:48Speaker 1: at the park with with your wife. How long have
- 44:51Speaker 1: you been following them? I followed my wife this morning
- 44:54Speaker 1: because I just was still in like real weird about
- 44:57Speaker 1: you know, something going on. And I followed her and
- 45:00Speaker 1: I'm at the park right now, and you know this,
- 45:05Speaker 1: I think this is I think she's with Jason. I

- 46:13Speaker 1: I don't know. It's Gerald. I don't want to know
- 46:15Speaker 1: how you get my number. Fitz gave me your Fitz
- 46:19Speaker 1: told me he knew Jason and some kind of the
- 46:21Speaker 1: way he got me your phone number. I don't even
- 46:24Speaker 1: know who we got your number from. All I know
- 46:26Speaker 1: is your husband is kissing my wife right now. That's
- 46:29Speaker 1: what I know. Okay, you're just sitting there watch and

- 48:59Speaker 1: I'm telling you now up when I see it, I'm
- 49:01Speaker 1: whooping your wife did. I'm whipping Jason and I'm gonna
- 49:05Speaker 1: slap you're calling me with this. You should have to

- 53:34Speaker 1: Thank you so much. He reads it. Subject, I can't
- 53:39Speaker 1: do this damn hood Redwood. They want to say, I'm sorry,
- 53:48Speaker 1: I can't do the hood Red wedding. Here, Stephen, Shirley,
- 53:52Speaker 1: this isn't your typical letter, but just like everyone else,
- 53:55Speaker 1: I need advice. I'm a thirty seven year old female.
- 53:59Speaker 1: I am a professional wedding planner, but also have a
- 54:03Speaker 1: corporate job that pays the bills. Six months ago, a
- 54:07Speaker 1: co worker asked me to help her put together her
- 54:09Speaker 1: dream wedding. I was excited at first, but then I
- 54:13Speaker 1: realized that she had a very limited budget and very
- 54:17Speaker 1: ghett old ideas. When it came time to choose her
- 54:22Speaker 1: menu for the reception, she said that she had already
- 54:26Speaker 1: picked out her food and set up the delivery. I
- 54:31Speaker 1: almost died when she said when she said she was
- 54:37Speaker 1: getting Churches, chicken and sides for her reception. She told
- 54:42Speaker 1: me that she has been dieting all year to fit
- 54:45Speaker 1: into her wear and dress, and she can't wait to
- 54:48Speaker 1: have some real food to celebrate her weight loss. I
- 54:52Speaker 1: chose an inexpensive and really nice venue for her reception,
- 54:56Speaker 1: but she chose to have the reception in the activities
- 54:59Speaker 1: room her grandmother Senior Living home so her friends can
- 55:04Speaker 1: smoke weed and bring their own liquor. And she also
- 55:09Speaker 1: asked me to get her some neat pads for the reception,
- 55:12Speaker 1: and I was too scared to ask her why. I
- 55:16Speaker 1: finally told her that I wanted no parts of this,
- 55:20Speaker 1: and she could just pay me for what I had
- 55:21Speaker 1: done so far. She told me she owed me nothing
- 55:27Speaker 1: because we are work friends now. Stephen Sherley, you know
- 55:31Speaker 1: I was hot. We did not speak for weeks, but
- 55:35Speaker 1: recently she called me apologize and pleading for my help.
- 55:40Speaker 1: I don't want my name and reputation on this get
- 55:42Speaker 1: old mess, but I don't want to keep ignoring her
- 55:45Speaker 1: at work. You think I should help her out and
- 55:49Speaker 1: salvage the friendship or just say forget it and keep
- 55:53Speaker 1: my business morals, please advise? Wow, you know what, wedding
- 56:00Speaker 1: seemed to always bring out the best and the worst
- 56:02Speaker 1: in people. It just seems I don't know if it's
- 56:04Speaker 1: the stress level or what it is, but people just,
- 56:07Speaker 1: you know, they they are crazy when when it's wedding
- 56:11Speaker 1: time and you're planning it and all that. But I
- 56:13Speaker 1: am a bit confused on this letter, Steve. I m
- 56:16Speaker 1: because in the beginning she called she called her the
- 56:19Speaker 1: letter writer called her just a co worker, and then
- 56:22Speaker 1: that's what she did in the beginning, and then at
- 56:24Speaker 1: the end of the letter, you know she's she's saying
- 56:28Speaker 1: she's trying to salvage their friendship. So I'm trying to
- 56:30Speaker 1: figure out are you guys just co workers or are
- 56:33Speaker 1: you truly friends? I mean, the lady, your co worker
- 56:37Speaker 1: or whatever called you work friends. That's why she didn't
- 56:40Speaker 1: want to pay you. So Um, seems like work friends
- 56:43Speaker 1: is what you guys really are, and I think that
- 56:45Speaker 1: makes a difference in how you respond, And it depends
- 56:48Speaker 1: on what she really wants you to do. She didn't
- 56:50Speaker 1: you didn't say so if you're if you're just work
- 56:53Speaker 1: work friends, I mean, you can easily tell her that
- 56:56Speaker 1: you don't want to do it. Um, you know, you
- 56:59Speaker 1: think it's best to you keep your work and your
- 57:01Speaker 1: business separate from this particular job right here. You don't
- 57:05Speaker 1: want to cause any friction on the job or anything
- 57:08Speaker 1: like that. Just tell her that you don't want to
- 57:10Speaker 1: do this and these are normally you know, you don't
- 57:12Speaker 1: normally do this kind of a wedding. And she has
- 57:15Speaker 1: her own ideas, so it's best that she gets someone
- 57:18Speaker 1: uh other than you that can handle it. I think
- 57:21Speaker 1: that's the way you should you should deal with this,
- 57:23Speaker 1: suggests as she go with someone else, and you guys
- 57:25Speaker 1: keep your working friendship intact and just you know, just
- 57:30Speaker 1: if she needs help finding someone else. Maybe you can
- 57:32Speaker 1: help her do that. But no, I don't think you
- 57:34Speaker 1: should help her with this wedding because yeah, it may
- 57:37Speaker 1: ruin your reputation, and you don't. Yeah, I mean she
- 57:40Speaker 1: sounds like she's doing all the work anyway. I mean
- 57:43Speaker 1: she doesn't take any of your suggestions. Steve, Hey, Shirley,
- 57:46Speaker 1: welcome back. Great answer. I disagree with every damn thing
- 57:50Speaker 1: you see. Can I go on listen, take advantage of this.
- 58:04Speaker 1: These are rare moments in life. The memory of this
- 58:07Speaker 1: wedding will last you forever. You you are blocking your blessing.
- 58:12Speaker 1: You don't know how hard. Everybody got cell phones. Now
- 58:16Speaker 1: that's gonna go virable. This is gonna be the great.
- 58:18Speaker 1: You'll be laughing at this for years cause a sober space. Look,
- 58:22Speaker 1: let's just go over how wonderful this opportunity. Just first
- 58:24Speaker 1: of all, you thirty seven, you got a job, so
- 58:27Speaker 1: hell if your wedding business ain't worth a damn no,
- 58:30Speaker 1: how a nobody called and yourself herb because you got
- 58:33Speaker 1: a main job paying bill, so hell, why not take
- 58:36Speaker 1: advantage of this opportunity to go down there, put together
- 58:39Speaker 1: some and have yourself a good ass time. Now you
- 58:42Speaker 1: got exciting when she asked you, and then you realize
- 58:45Speaker 1: she had a limited budget with very ghett old ideas.
- 58:49Speaker 1: Let me explain something to you. Limited budgets press you
- 58:54Speaker 1: towards hood is a mass ideas. You ain't do what
- 59:01Speaker 1: regular winds do our own own budgets. You don't have
- 59:06Speaker 1: money for all them damn candles. Crazy. You don't have
- 59:12Speaker 1: money to rent out no big church. You can't be
- 59:16Speaker 1: having no damn rehearsal dinner. You got you gotta you
- 59:22Speaker 1: gotta put your money where it is just half of
- 59:25Speaker 1: having churches, chicken and sides after reception. What you mad think? Delicious?
- 59:32Speaker 1: All right, Steve? Hold damn who got the bed? Who
- 59:35Speaker 1: got the biggest? We'll have you get the most damn
- 59:38Speaker 1: check you hang on church, We'll have heart two in
- 59:41Speaker 1: Steve's response. Coming up at twenty three after the hour,
- 59:44Speaker 1: today's subject I can't do a hood red wedding. I
- 59:47Speaker 1: just can't. We'll be back right after this. You're listening,
- 59:54Speaker 1: all right, Steve. Come on, Let's recap today's Scobberry letters.
- 59:57Speaker 1: Subject I can't do a hood rat wedding. Thirty seven
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: year old lady seems professional, real nice lady. She's also
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: a professional wedding planner. She's got a corporate job or
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: the pays all the bills, so this could come to this.
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: She does this on the side. One of the co
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: workers asked her to plan to win, and she was
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: excited about it till she found out well that the
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: lady had a limited budget with some ghetto ideas. And
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: like I said, the little money presses you towards ghetto ideas.
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: So let's start with the first ghetto idea. You wanted
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: to plan the menu, she said, no problem, I'm already
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: set up delivery. I've been dieting all year trying to
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: get in this dress. I want some real damn food.
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: Churches is delivering all the food. I don't know if
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: you understand what churches is. I ain't been in years,
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: so let me tell you last time I was there.
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: What I remember. Let's just talk about they got fried over. Oh, yes,
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: they got there. Yes, yes, less, they got corn, they
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: got that, They got them rolls. But what do churches
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: have that no other chicken place offers. They offer the
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: now distinct torontosaurus size chicken parts. Yes, you can get
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: a damned leg that looked like a turkey leg. You
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: can get a five that looked like a woman's ass.
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: You are missing some of the biggest pieces of chicken
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: you will ever eat. So I ain't mad at her
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: with your church church. She told me she'd been there.
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: I chose you want some real food, and then you said,
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: I chose an inexpensive and really nice venue for her reception.
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: But she chose to have a reception in the activities
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: room at her grandmama seen your living home. See that's
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: probably free. See that's free because old people just want
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: somebody to come over, so they probably letting them have
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: that free and their grandmama can't go nowhere, So grandmama
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: get to come to the wed and invite her friend. Now,
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: the reason she chose that is so they can smoke
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: weed and bring their own liquor. Now, all old people
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: gonna love this, because a lot of old people smoking
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: weed now for glock hooma, all theorriters. Yeah, pain symptoms,
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: So they're gonna love them young people coming over there
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: with that weed and then drinking. Oh, they this fitning
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: to be a party, So you know she wants that.
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: Then she asked me to get her some knee pads
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: for the reception, and I was too scared to ask
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: her why. Yeah, I can't. This is why I come
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: in that. See, you ain't been in no hood wedds
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: I have. I did a comedy special on one of
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: the biggest hood weddings I had ever went to, which
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: was my niece's damn weddh And I told Margree's budgie ass,
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: we wasn't going. She's gonna tell me your niece really,
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: won't you there? Okay? Cool? Now you need knee pads
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: at a hood reception because when the girls that's in
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: the bridal party. Yeah, sometimes when they dancing and they
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: do the dog line and they all get on their
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: knees and hike their leg up and hump the air
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: like they're doing the doggie thing. You ain't seen that, Yeah,
- 1:03:28Speaker 1: I want you to understand. That's popping off. I've seen it.
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: That's a big thing at the hood winds. Yeah. Women, Yeah,
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: they get on their knees, they hike, they dress up,
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: or they can look like they are dog peeing on
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: the tree and they hump in the air. That's what
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: the knee pads is fall and then they got a
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: game in the hood or you know why the when
- 1:03:49Speaker 1: the when the lady throw the of who came over
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: her head. All the girls have to stay on their
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: knees to get it stop. I'm like, okay, oh, stay see,
- 1:04:06Speaker 1: y'all ain't been there. That's all I used to go to.
- 1:04:09Speaker 1: Everybody on my block got married like this, And you
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: don't think I'm nine just asking people. She told me
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: you s scared that I finally told her. I want
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: to know part to this, she could just pay me
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: for what I had done so far. Don't really sound
- 1:04:22Speaker 1: to me like you did nothing, But she told me
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: that she owed me nothing because we are work friends,
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: not Stephen Sherley. You know I was hot. Well, I
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: don't really know what you did because the suggestion you
- 1:04:33Speaker 1: gave her for the food, she didn't take that. The
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: suggestion you gave her for the venue, she didn't take that.
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: So I'm pretty damn show she ain't gonna wear what
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: you told her to wear, so I don't think she
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: owed you nothing. Now. Also, if you keep pressing her,
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: I'm just gonna go out on Live and say you
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: probably setting yourself for for ass whipping. Cause people to
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: throw hood a squids like this through hood ass consequences too,
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: So you keep pressing her about this money if you
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: want to, and you know, but recently she came you,
- 1:05:05Speaker 1: apologizing and pleading for your help. I don't want my
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: name and reputation on this ghetto mess. I would go
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: down there, film the whole damn thing and keep it
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: in my all caves for laughs. You're missing one of
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: the great blessings in life. And how dare you not
- 1:05:19Speaker 1: go help up? You go help that lady and throw
- 1:05:22Speaker 1: in extra ghetto stuff permental spread sandwiches along with the
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: church's checkers with two picks and cut each sandwich up
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: into thirty twos and stick two pics with the Christmas
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: paper owner. I have most suggestions, all right, listen. You
- 1:05:37Speaker 1: can post your comments on Today's Strawberry Letter on Instagram
- 1:05:41Speaker 1: and Facebook at Steve Harvey FM, and check out the
- 1:05:44Speaker 1: Strawberry Letter podcast. Please undemand coming up at forty six
- 1:05:48Speaker 1: after the hour, Nancy Pelosi has announced formal impeachment inquiry
- 1:05:53Speaker 1: of President Trump. Wow, we'll talk about it right after this.
- 1:05:57Speaker 1: You're listening to Dave Harvey Morning Show, I'll speaker Nancy
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: Pelosi confirmed before you do the Nancy Pelosi, Yes, Oh,
- 1:06:07Speaker 1: we were talking about the hood wedding on the last break.
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: Oh yeah, And I just wanted to point out the
- 1:06:12Speaker 1: people that if you're struggling with hood weddings, I have
- 1:06:15Speaker 1: a special hood Wedding Service Planner where I help people
- 1:06:20Speaker 1: that don't have money to go on and make these
- 1:06:23Speaker 1: hood dreams come a reality. And it's the several things
- 1:06:27Speaker 1: you can do. Like, for example, instead of throwing rice
- 1:06:30Speaker 1: when they lead a thing, you have people bring rice
- 1:06:34Speaker 1: and beans, and then after you throw them, pick them
- 1:06:36Speaker 1: up and then y'all go down to the reception hall
- 1:06:39Speaker 1: before they get started, and y'all put them in water
- 1:06:42Speaker 1: and serve it back to that's that's like, because you've
- 1:06:47Speaker 1: heard of B wild b bring your own bottom, that's
- 1:06:50Speaker 1: bring your own beans, and so you have beans and
- 1:06:54Speaker 1: rice down at the wed that's a good thing. Also
- 1:06:57Speaker 1: another alternative, you're not gonna have money to release the
- 1:07:01Speaker 1: doves at the wedding. So what you do is really exciting,
- 1:07:05Speaker 1: is we open up this big box in it ain't
- 1:07:08Speaker 1: got none but flies in it. So you just let
- 1:07:11Speaker 1: the flies out at the where they go out there
- 1:07:13Speaker 1: aggravating everybody that get all over that church. They be
- 1:07:16Speaker 1: killing flies for two weeks and then one last thing
- 1:07:20Speaker 1: you might want to sit at a hood when no,
- 1:07:23Speaker 1: you're not gonna have money for candles. So as to
- 1:07:26Speaker 1: when they say who in here? You can now kiss
- 1:07:29Speaker 1: the bride? Just have somebody over there cut the light
- 1:07:32Speaker 1: switch off and everybody turned their phones on and wave
- 1:07:37Speaker 1: them in your air. You don't care. Yeah, these are
- 1:07:40Speaker 1: nice hood where I have some more for you if
- 1:07:43Speaker 1: you want it. So just let me know, go ahead
- 1:07:46Speaker 1: and shore all right, all right, Steve, So how Speaker
- 1:07:50Speaker 1: Nancy Pelosi has confirmed that the House of Representatives is
- 1:07:54Speaker 1: moving forward with an impeachment inquiry of President Trump. Now
- 1:07:58Speaker 1: this is for allegedly Ukraine to investigate twenty twenty Democratic
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: presidential election hopeful Joe Biden and his son Hunter. Did
- 1:08:07Speaker 1: President Trump abuse his presidential powers and seek help from
- 1:08:11Speaker 1: a foreign government for his reelection, which is against the constitution.
- 1:08:15Speaker 1: President Trump says it's a witch hunt, and he's releasing
- 1:08:19Speaker 1: transcripts of the calls with the Ukrainian president, So there
- 1:08:22Speaker 1: you go. Yeah, has been reluctant up until this point.
- 1:08:27Speaker 1: They're they're gonna release something, but it ain't gonna be
- 1:08:30Speaker 1: that whole thing. It ain't gonna be the original. No,
- 1:08:33Speaker 1: they've already taken say tamper, Yeah, tampered wod Yeah, yeah,
- 1:08:37Speaker 1: you're right about the transcript. H yeah, okay, yeah, this
- 1:08:41Speaker 1: is really this is this is just bad. But Pelosi,
- 1:08:46Speaker 1: she's not playing. She's no, she's taken a long time
- 1:08:50Speaker 1: think it over because you know, when they impeach Bill Clinton,
- 1:08:54Speaker 1: he won the next election. I mean, you know, public
- 1:08:57Speaker 1: empathy and sympathy was on his side everyways, Well that's
- 1:09:02Speaker 1: how she felt at first. All right. Coming up at
- 1:09:05Speaker 1: the top of the hour, Antonio Brown is going back
- 1:09:08Speaker 1: to college. Yeah, we'll talk about that right after this.
- 1:09:12Speaker 1: You're listening to this show. In just nine months, wide
- 1:09:18Speaker 1: receiver Antonio Brown has worked his way off three NFL teams,
- 1:09:24Speaker 1: and now he finds himself unemployed. Oh boy. Despite earning
- 1:09:29Speaker 1: tens of millions of dollars throughout his career, he has
- 1:09:33Speaker 1: decided to go back to college now. Antonio Brown registered
- 1:09:37Speaker 1: for online classes at Central Michigan University after announcing that
- 1:09:41Speaker 1: he's done with the NFL. Antonio will be taking courses
- 1:09:46Speaker 1: in business management, English, Religion, and sociology. And uh, I
- 1:09:51Speaker 1: mean this is a good thing. Will take business manage
- 1:09:56Speaker 1: meant English, religion and soci theology. Well, I'm telling you what.
- 1:10:03Speaker 1: These are all courses he fitn' fail. Oh if in
- 1:10:07Speaker 1: business management, if your ass manages to throw away thirty
- 1:10:12Speaker 1: million ten days, I don't think business management can help you. English.
- 1:10:19Speaker 1: I've read his text. He and I should not be
- 1:10:23Speaker 1: in that class together. Religion. He obviously knows nothing about
- 1:10:29Speaker 1: the Lord, because if he'd talked to God about any
- 1:10:31Speaker 1: of this, he wouldn't have done it. And what's he
- 1:10:35Speaker 1: taking the last one is in sociology. He don't understand
- 1:10:39Speaker 1: the damn thing about people. So I see four ELP's coming.
- 1:10:47Speaker 1: I don't know what Antonio, I don't know what. Damn
- 1:10:54Speaker 1: the Vrid commercial you saw that, man, he'd you think
- 1:10:58Speaker 1: going back to college boy's gonna replace this thirty million partner?
- 1:11:03Speaker 1: They ain't got them jobs in college. Man. Remember when
- 1:11:06Speaker 1: he started first started coming out with all this stuff.
- 1:11:09Speaker 1: I kept asking you, guys, is this guy that good?
- 1:11:11Speaker 1: Is he that good? And surely he's an exceptional talent?
- 1:11:17Speaker 1: And that's that's what you guys said. You're not that
- 1:11:20Speaker 1: good to steal this team. Yeah, you can't act like
- 1:11:22Speaker 1: that away. But he's just not too much baggage? Yeah,
- 1:11:27Speaker 1: well had he It's it's not Yea. This last thing
- 1:11:35Speaker 1: where he rolled talked about sharp Craft and Rothslenburger. That
- 1:11:42Speaker 1: kind of sealed it a little bit fun. He could
- 1:11:45Speaker 1: play again. If he goes and gets checked in and
- 1:11:50Speaker 1: get some help, he's gonna have to put it on.
- 1:11:55Speaker 1: He's gonna have to say he just was mental mental
- 1:11:59Speaker 1: health is shoes are real. I think I think he
- 1:12:02Speaker 1: needs some form of therapy. I think he can go
- 1:12:06Speaker 1: that route because what he's doing is self destructive. Yes,
- 1:12:10Speaker 1: so I think he does need to get some type
- 1:12:12Speaker 1: of help. And I'm not a big proponent of counseling,
- 1:12:17Speaker 1: I am, but there are times when it really is
- 1:12:20Speaker 1: necessary because some people. Sometimes you have to verbalize and
- 1:12:24Speaker 1: get people to get you to think about it a
- 1:12:26Speaker 1: certain way. Your biggest form of help would be prayer.
- 1:12:30Speaker 1: Once you refuse that, it's no telling what's going to
- 1:12:35Speaker 1: happen to you, soul. I think prayer and therapy good combination.
- 1:12:42Speaker 1: That I'm not I'm not mad at that. I'm not
- 1:12:45Speaker 1: mad that therapy is real. Ye is, because because I
- 1:12:49Speaker 1: agree with you, Steve, there is something wrong. You cannot
- 1:12:52Speaker 1: throw such a brilliant career away like something's wrong and
- 1:12:58Speaker 1: he just needs help. Yeah, I'm gonna tell you like
- 1:13:01Speaker 1: somebody told my bodyguard this one. Boom's talking to this lady.
- 1:13:07Speaker 1: She said, you don't need to go up inside your
- 1:13:10Speaker 1: head by yourself, by myself, saying you don't need to
- 1:13:18Speaker 1: go up in your head by yourself no more, you
- 1:13:20Speaker 1: need to take somebody. That somebody, because you're coming back
- 1:13:25Speaker 1: out with some thoughts today. Well, I laughed so hard.
- 1:13:29Speaker 1: But I can't imagine when Anthony Brown Antonio Brown is
- 1:13:32Speaker 1: by himself. I can't imagine him not being mad at
- 1:13:36Speaker 1: himself for his actions of late. I just can't. Because
- 1:13:40Speaker 1: we stupid is a statement we make it. Yeah, this is.
- 1:13:44Speaker 1: But if he's not mad at himself, he really need
- 1:13:48Speaker 1: to be. He really really I would strongly suggest getting
- 1:13:51Speaker 1: getting some therapy. Coming up next, some more music trending
- 1:13:55Speaker 1: news on the Steve Harvey Morning Show. We'll be back
- 1:13:57Speaker 1: at twenty minutes after the hour. Right after this. You're
- 1:14:00Speaker 1: listening to the show, all right, So today is hump Day.
- 1:14:07Speaker 1: It's Wednesday, that's right home day, your favorite, all right,
- 1:14:12Speaker 1: So check this out. A Louisiana woman got into a
- 1:14:15Speaker 1: tussle with the captive camel and ended up biting the
- 1:14:19Speaker 1: camel in his private parts. Oh yeah. The unnamed woman
- 1:14:26Speaker 1: crawled into Casper the camel's enclosure to get her dog,
- 1:14:32Speaker 1: who'd run into it to get one of the treats
- 1:14:34Speaker 1: his owner had been tossing near the cage. When she
- 1:14:37Speaker 1: got near the camel, who's lived at the truck stop
- 1:14:40Speaker 1: for over two decades, Casper the camel sat on her,
- 1:14:44Speaker 1: so she fought back by singing her teeth into his genitals.
- 1:14:47Speaker 1: Authority sided the woman and her husband for a leash
- 1:14:51Speaker 1: law violation, but didn't file charges against the truck stop
- 1:14:55Speaker 1: owner since he posted numerous keep outsigns on the enclosure.
- 1:15:00Speaker 1: What the camel did, nothing wrong, he said, being crushed. Yeah,
- 1:15:06Speaker 1: so the camel is just doing its normal routine. They
- 1:15:09Speaker 1: were the aggressive ones. Hey, Steve, you got crushed by
- 1:15:14Speaker 1: a camera. Yep, broke every real, didn't you see that?
- 1:15:20Speaker 1: You could have been him? I saw it, yea, I
- 1:15:24Speaker 1: saw it. I just went on del d crack real. Yeah,
- 1:15:29Speaker 1: not biting a camel in his genital not in his life.
- 1:15:37Speaker 1: That ain't even the lad. All right, we got more
- 1:15:42Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show that you don't want to miss. Yeah,
- 1:15:45Speaker 1: we'll be back at thirty three after the hour. Right

- 1:15:52Speaker 1: So yesterday Terrence Howard received his star on the Hollywood

- 1:16:28Speaker 1: we're speaking of now, Terrence Howard. You're not gonna guess? Yeah?
- 1:16:33Speaker 1: You know if you do modeling, No, no, there is.
- 1:16:39Speaker 1: He gonna do what se hustle it flow? No no,
- 1:16:42Speaker 1: no pimpin, no a pilot, no guard. You guys will

- 1:16:53Speaker 1: do this, but he's gonna try to play on the

- 1:17:00Speaker 1: Terence says, when Empire finishes, it's run, this season. He
- 1:17:05Speaker 1: is going to stop so he can bring truth to
- 1:17:08Speaker 1: the world. Okay, so he's not gonna be a uh,
- 1:17:12Speaker 1: he's not gonna be a model. What is truth to
- 1:17:18Speaker 1: the world? Okay, we know what that truth is. Well, well,
- 1:17:22Speaker 1: maybe in case you missed the Terrence's Red Carpet interview,
- 1:17:25Speaker 1: you guys see this on Sunday. It reveals some truly
- 1:17:28Speaker 1: bizarre things. Take a listen to this. I made some
- 1:17:30Speaker 1: discoveries in my own personal life with the science that
- 1:17:35Speaker 1: you know, Pythaglas was searching for. I was able to
- 1:17:38Speaker 1: open up the flower of life proplemens and find the
- 1:17:41Speaker 1: real wave conjugations that we've been looking for for ten
- 1:17:44Speaker 1: thousand years. Why would I continue, you know, walking on
- 1:17:48Speaker 1: water for tips when I've got an entire generation to
- 1:17:51Speaker 1: teach a whole new world. Okay, what's that that? That's
- 1:17:58Speaker 1: what he said? You heard him? Yeah, I saw him
- 1:18:01Speaker 1: when he said it. So I called Carla. I was like, Carla,
- 1:18:09Speaker 1: are you gonna be talking to two people? Would you
- 1:18:14Speaker 1: to walk on water for tips? Yeah? Uh, he's found
- 1:18:18Speaker 1: the secret that they've been looking for for ten thousand years.
- 1:18:21Speaker 1: All Right, what do you say to life and the
- 1:18:27Speaker 1: flowers of life. He says he's been able to open
- 1:18:30Speaker 1: up the flower of life properly and find the real
- 1:18:33Speaker 1: wave conjugations that we've been looking for. You heard him
- 1:18:36Speaker 1: say that. He went on to say he wants to
- 1:18:39Speaker 1: put a video on YouTube that will prove now this
- 1:18:42Speaker 1: is the part that gravity gravity now is only an
- 1:18:47Speaker 1: effect and not a force. And we go this just God,
- 1:18:54Speaker 1: you don't get your ass back to one of these auditions. Boy,
- 1:18:59Speaker 1: All right, coming up our last break of the day
- 1:19:01Speaker 1: and some enlightening, encouraging, wonderful closing remarks from our fearless leader,
- 1:19:06Speaker 1: the one and only. He's so special. We love him,
- 1:19:09Speaker 1: don't we. Steve Harvey right after this at forty nine
- 1:19:13Speaker 1: minutes after you're listening to show. All right, here we are,
- 1:19:18Speaker 1: last break of the day. It was fun to be back.
- 1:19:21Speaker 1: I missed you guys. I know I still sound a
- 1:19:26Speaker 1: little clogged and I am, but each day I feel
- 1:19:29Speaker 1: better and better. All good, Well, that's good. Yeah fell
- 1:19:33Speaker 1: it fell asleep in front of the air conditioner, that's
- 1:19:36Speaker 1: all it was. Yeah, you took that. You took that
- 1:19:39Speaker 1: PM shirt. Yeah yeah, woke up at a sweat man.
- 1:19:46Speaker 1: Oh yeah, but your neck, your head is wet. Everything. Yeah,
- 1:19:56Speaker 1: but it's all good. You're sweating it out, so each
- 1:19:58Speaker 1: day I feel better. All right, So Steve, you're ready, Yeah,
- 1:20:02Speaker 1: take us home? All right, Here we go. Steve's closing remarks.
- 1:20:06Speaker 1: You know, we often talk about success and how hard
- 1:20:13Speaker 1: it is, and I try to excuse me give people
- 1:20:17Speaker 1: the weaponry to deal with life as the difficulties and
- 1:20:22Speaker 1: challenges come, because life is a series of these things,
- 1:20:26Speaker 1: and I've always talked to you about how to prepare
- 1:20:29Speaker 1: for that, how to expect it, what to do when
- 1:20:32Speaker 1: it happens. Well, today I wanted to take a different
- 1:20:36Speaker 1: approach to it. I wanted to give you a little
- 1:20:41Speaker 1: bit more positive reinforcement because, like I've always said, the
- 1:20:47Speaker 1: majority of people that I know want two things in life.
- 1:20:49Speaker 1: They want to be happy and they want to be successful.
- 1:20:52Speaker 1: Those are the two things I find that most people
- 1:20:55Speaker 1: want that I know, I'm pretty sure this people don't
- 1:20:58Speaker 1: fit into that category. But I try not to associate
- 1:21:01Speaker 1: with that type, so I keep it moving. I'm only
- 1:21:04Speaker 1: looking for people who are trying to be happy and successful,
- 1:21:08Speaker 1: you know, and being happy and successful covers a lot
- 1:21:11Speaker 1: of things. You know. They try to live their best life,
- 1:21:14Speaker 1: try to treat people kindly, you know, try to make
- 1:21:18Speaker 1: an impact, Try to make a difference in the world.
- 1:21:20Speaker 1: You know, try to leave a legacy, you know, one
- 1:21:23Speaker 1: their children have a better life than the one they had.
- 1:21:26Speaker 1: So let's talk for a second about that. Often talk
- 1:21:30Speaker 1: about how hard it is to be successful. Now let
- 1:21:35Speaker 1: me let me point it to you this way. Success
- 1:21:38Speaker 1: is hard, But ain't not being successful just as hard?
- 1:21:44Speaker 1: Trying to make a success of yourself. It really is hard.
- 1:21:49Speaker 1: But as I look back on my life, not being successful,
- 1:21:54Speaker 1: what's just as hard. So you know, man, I started
- 1:21:59Speaker 1: thinking about that too, and how people will resign themselves
- 1:22:04Speaker 1: to not striving for success because of how difficult it is.
- 1:22:08Speaker 1: But when you don't strive for success and you resign
- 1:22:12Speaker 1: to yourself and you just resign yourself to a life
- 1:22:15Speaker 1: of mediocrity, then ain't that hard too? I mean, man,
- 1:22:20Speaker 1: I've done them both, and I gotta tell you, man,
- 1:22:24Speaker 1: it's hard. It's hard not following through with your dreams.
- 1:22:30Speaker 1: It's hard waking up not wanting to pursue anything. It's hard, man,
- 1:22:36Speaker 1: watching other people's dreams come true in yours not. It's
- 1:22:40Speaker 1: hard to watch everybody get up and go to work
- 1:22:43Speaker 1: and you laying at the house. It's hard, man, I've
- 1:22:46Speaker 1: just found it to be hard. Now, listen to me.
- 1:22:48Speaker 1: I'm not knocking anybody if you're temporarily in that situation,
- 1:22:52Speaker 1: because I've been in them all and when you are today,
- 1:22:55Speaker 1: it's very very temporary. It's not a lasting thing. So
- 1:22:57Speaker 1: I'm not knocking a person. I'm just talking about the
- 1:23:00Speaker 1: comparison of the two when it was happening to me,
- 1:23:03Speaker 1: because it's all happened to me. I was very unhappy
- 1:23:07Speaker 1: at that. I was struggling, and even though being successful
- 1:23:11Speaker 1: created a whole new set of struggles, that was an
- 1:23:14Speaker 1: upside to it too. There is an upside of the
- 1:23:19Speaker 1: effort of being successful. There are a few things, man,
- 1:23:23Speaker 1: that you can count on. It's such a pleasure when
- 1:23:26Speaker 1: you're striving for success. One of the great pleasures is
- 1:23:31Speaker 1: waking up or ending the day and having a sense
- 1:23:35Speaker 1: of accomplishment. You know, to be able to say, you
- 1:23:38Speaker 1: know what, man, I gave it my all today. Wow,
- 1:23:42Speaker 1: I didn't finish everything I set out to do, but
- 1:23:44Speaker 1: I gave it my all today. Or you could say, hey, man,
- 1:23:47Speaker 1: you know what, man, I got real close to completing
- 1:23:50Speaker 1: them tasks today. Man I can't wait to get them,
- 1:23:52Speaker 1: get at it tomorrow, or hey, man, I knocked off
- 1:23:56Speaker 1: half of the things on my list today. I tried
- 1:23:58Speaker 1: to get three, but I got two. Good. One's done. Man, God,
- 1:24:01Speaker 1: I show appreciate you. The sense of accomplishment from striving
- 1:24:06Speaker 1: to be successful. That's rewarding in itself. I tell you
- 1:24:11Speaker 1: something else I like about it, too, striving for success.
- 1:24:15Speaker 1: It makes you feel like you're progressing. You know, it
- 1:24:20Speaker 1: gets tough when your life is stagnant, when you just
- 1:24:23Speaker 1: feel like a hamster on the wheel. But if you
- 1:24:25Speaker 1: can accomplish just one thing every day towards your goal,
- 1:24:29Speaker 1: if you can just make out your list of things
- 1:24:32Speaker 1: to do and get two of them things accomplished that day,
- 1:24:35Speaker 1: don't you know when you go to bed at night,
- 1:24:37Speaker 1: you could feel like, man, I made some progress. You're
- 1:24:40Speaker 1: not gonna wake up tomorrow and it's all gonna happen
- 1:24:42Speaker 1: for you. I wish it happened that way, I really
- 1:24:44Speaker 1: really do, because I would have been through striving a
- 1:24:46Speaker 1: long time ago. But I'm constantly striving because I'm constantly
- 1:24:49Speaker 1: aiming for something. So I love At the end of
- 1:24:52Speaker 1: the day, I have accomplished a couple of things, and
- 1:24:54Speaker 1: I get to feel a sense of progress. I tell
- 1:24:57Speaker 1: you something else that I enjoy about it too. It
- 1:25:00Speaker 1: makes me feel hopeful, man. Striving for success gives me
- 1:25:04Speaker 1: hope that one day I can hit it. Striving for
- 1:25:07Speaker 1: success gives me the hope that, one day, man, this
- 1:25:11Speaker 1: dream of mine could come true. That right there alone,
- 1:25:16Speaker 1: faith is a substance of things hoped for. That's a
- 1:25:20Speaker 1: scripture that's very valuable. And one other thing I'd like
- 1:25:24Speaker 1: to leave you with. You know what striving for success does.
- 1:25:28Speaker 1: Gives you a sense of pride. You can wake up,
- 1:25:31Speaker 1: look at your children, look at yourself, look at your
- 1:25:35Speaker 1: mother and your father, look at your friends, and you
- 1:25:38Speaker 1: could have your chest stuck out because you know what,
- 1:25:41Speaker 1: I'm striving. I'm on track. I may not be there
- 1:25:45Speaker 1: right now, but I'm in the fight. I might not
- 1:25:48Speaker 1: have wanted yet, but I'm in the fight man. So
- 1:25:52Speaker 1: a sense of accomplishment, the feeling of progress, the joy
- 1:25:56Speaker 1: of having hope, and a sense of pride makes striving
- 1:25:59Speaker 1: for success a whole lot simpler. Do your best, y'all,
- 1:26:03Speaker 1: talk to God every day. He'd love to hear from you. Okay,
