- 2:14Speaker 1: dig and now one and only Steve Harley got a
- 2:17Speaker 1: radio show we gotta going for you today. I was
- 2:21Speaker 1: thinking about on the way in. You know, yesterday was
- 2:25Speaker 1: a really, really trying day for me. There's a lot
- 2:28Speaker 1: of work yesterday and I was up. I've gotten so
- 2:31Speaker 1: tired at one point man that but you know, I mean,
- 2:35Speaker 1: I mean I had no one to to to explain
- 2:38Speaker 1: it to. You know, mom. The fellas that travel with me,
- 2:42Speaker 1: they just go, they just go. You know, they know
- 2:44Speaker 1: where I gotta be. They get me in place, you know.
- 2:47Speaker 1: Blah blah, blah. But you know, you know, right about
- 2:52Speaker 1: when I'm about to complain about it out loud, I
- 2:58Speaker 1: also find all of the incredible reasons that I have
- 3:03Speaker 1: to be grateful, and it kind of slows down to
- 3:06Speaker 1: complain it a little bit. Now I'm not saying to
- 3:08Speaker 1: our days, man, why I don't verbalize my fatigue or
- 3:12Speaker 1: I don't verbalize my man I wish I didn't have
- 3:15Speaker 1: to work so hard, or man but but but but
- 3:18Speaker 1: but yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah. But when I
- 3:20Speaker 1: get through with that, I have so many reasons to
- 3:23Speaker 1: be grateful that he does slow it down, you know,
- 3:26Speaker 1: And sometimes it might a majority terms just flat out
- 3:29Speaker 1: stops it because I end up laughing at myself because
- 3:32Speaker 1: you know, it's so many things are happening to me
- 3:35Speaker 1: beyond my belief, beyond what I asked God for. So
- 3:40Speaker 1: there's just some extreme blessings going on in my life.
- 3:43Speaker 1: But man, man o, man o, man have I paid?
- 3:47Speaker 1: And that that's the part I want to talk to
- 3:49Speaker 1: you about today. You know, see a lot of people
- 3:50Speaker 1: look at other people and they see what they think
- 3:53Speaker 1: is the finished product. They don't realize that all of us,
- 3:58Speaker 1: no matter who we are, are still a work in progress,
- 4:01Speaker 1: that I have many flaws, that I have many problems
- 4:03Speaker 1: and have many situations that come up, you know, just
- 4:06Speaker 1: like anybody else. You know, I'm no different from that,
- 4:10Speaker 1: you know. You know, life happens for me just like
- 4:13Speaker 1: it happens for you. It may happen in different ways,
- 4:17Speaker 1: but just like you know, if it's something comes up
- 4:19Speaker 1: at an inconvenient time for you, it props up for me.
- 4:23Speaker 1: You know, if something happens for me that seems unfair,
- 4:26Speaker 1: I know that it's happening to somebody else unfairly. But
- 4:30Speaker 1: you know, um, I find myself being grateful the majority
- 4:39Speaker 1: of the time. I can't say all the time because
- 4:42Speaker 1: I'm a human being, and sometimes I find myself complaining
- 4:44Speaker 1: about it all, you know, But but I try, for
- 4:47Speaker 1: the most part to stay grateful, to stay focused, and
- 4:50Speaker 1: it allows me to keep the wheels churning. But now
- 4:55Speaker 1: I wanna I want to share something with you about
- 5:00Speaker 1: your road to success. You know you've heard me say
- 5:03Speaker 1: this probably a hundred times now. The road to success
- 5:07Speaker 1: is always under construction, it really is. So here's here's
- 5:12Speaker 1: what I want you to expect on your way to changing,
- 5:18Speaker 1: on your way to becoming successful. On your way to
- 5:21Speaker 1: achieving your goals, on your way to getting better. I
- 5:27Speaker 1: want you to expect many difficulties. Once again, the road
- 5:34Speaker 1: to the road to success is always under construction. I
- 5:39Speaker 1: want you to expect many difficulties. But here is the
- 5:44Speaker 1: deal between successful people and non successful people. It's how
- 5:49Speaker 1: they deal with the difficulties. That's the only difference. It's
- 5:57Speaker 1: how you deal with the difficulties, how you handle the setbacks,
- 6:02Speaker 1: how well you get up after you've been knocked down.
- 6:05Speaker 1: That's happening to all of us, none of us, none
- 6:09Speaker 1: of us are exempt from that. You're going to fall,
- 6:13Speaker 1: You're going to be pushed, you're going to be run over,
- 6:19Speaker 1: You're going to be tackled, you are going to be
- 6:23Speaker 1: lied about. You are going to have setbacks. That's a
- 6:29Speaker 1: part of the journey. But how do you handle them?
- 6:33Speaker 1: How well do you do you handle everything? See, I
- 6:37Speaker 1: want you to understand something. When you set out to
- 6:40Speaker 1: be successful, he is difficult. Pet Pablo, who have probably people?
- 6:46Speaker 1: What is it about to quote Pet Pablo? He had
- 6:49Speaker 1: a uh A wrap album out called Diary of a
- 6:53Speaker 1: Cinner and it was really, man my favorite rap album
- 6:58Speaker 1: of all time because he says some things about his
- 7:02Speaker 1: life that I could so relate to. I can't think
- 7:06Speaker 1: of the name of the song right now, but there
- 7:08Speaker 1: is a lyric a stands in one of his songs
- 7:11Speaker 1: that says, I had a half a tanker gas, two cigarettes,
- 7:16Speaker 1: scraping up change in an ash tray, and a voice said,
- 7:22Speaker 1: it's only a test of my faith. It said, I
- 7:28Speaker 1: had a half a tanker gas, two cigarettes, scraping up
- 7:32Speaker 1: change in an ash tray, but a voice said, it
- 7:36Speaker 1: was only a test of my faith. It's a deal
- 7:42Speaker 1: your faith, which is the belief in things that you
- 7:45Speaker 1: cannot see. When you say I'm going to make it,
- 7:48Speaker 1: I'm going to be successful at it. I'm going to
- 7:51Speaker 1: finish college. I'm going to achieve my goal. I'm going
- 7:55Speaker 1: to be a better husband. I'm going to be a
- 7:57Speaker 1: better father. I'm going to be a better wife. If
- 8:00Speaker 1: I'm going to be a better mother, I'm going to
- 8:02Speaker 1: be a better student. I'm going to be rich. I'm
- 8:05Speaker 1: going to start doing more for other people. I'm going
- 8:09Speaker 1: to help the less fortunate. Whatever you say when you're
- 8:13Speaker 1: sending that prayer, when you declare that faith, the devil
- 8:18Speaker 1: hears your prayer to Now A sad thing about the
- 8:22Speaker 1: devil is he's busy seven and he has people that
- 8:28Speaker 1: works for him. It's some imps out there that ain't
- 8:33Speaker 1: up to no good. You all know them. You've all
- 8:36Speaker 1: run across them. They always putting shade on somebody. They
- 8:42Speaker 1: always barking at somebody. They always knocking somebody down. These
- 8:48Speaker 1: people that they're just busy for Satan. What you gotta
- 8:53Speaker 1: be careful of is that occasionally you don't become one
- 8:55Speaker 1: of those people. See so who and these people? When
- 9:01Speaker 1: when the devil hears his prayer that you set up
- 9:03Speaker 1: or what you're gonna be successful at, then your faith
- 9:07Speaker 1: is going to be tested. He got people man to
- 9:11Speaker 1: come in there and try to knock you off that course.
- 9:14Speaker 1: So you can get on back to this old woe
- 9:16Speaker 1: is me. I ain't gonna ever be nothing then, uh man.
- 9:20Speaker 1: Seemed like every time I try to get back up,
- 9:22Speaker 1: I getting knocked right back. Now. Once he gets you
- 9:25Speaker 1: saying that enough times, then he can start implementing some
- 9:29Speaker 1: other programs. Come on, man, let's sell this dope. We
- 9:34Speaker 1: can't get no job now here you go. You're off track.
- 9:38Speaker 1: You're going you other way. Now, he got you, He
- 9:40Speaker 1: got you tied up. Now to the poort where he
- 9:42Speaker 1: can get you locked up, or he can get you
- 9:44Speaker 1: killed and lose your soul. So now he had worked
- 9:47Speaker 1: busy he all day. What you got to be mindful
- 9:51Speaker 1: of is that your faith will be tested, that it's
- 9:54Speaker 1: going to be difficult to get the way you are,
- 9:57Speaker 1: and you got to stay in prayer all the time,
- 10:00Speaker 1: talking to your creator about strengthening you for the journey.
- 10:04Speaker 1: You have to be strengthened for the journey. That's all
- 10:08Speaker 1: you're asking for, because the journey is the journey. You
- 10:11Speaker 1: can stop asking God to remove all these problems in
- 10:14Speaker 1: these situations because it ain't gonna happen. These are the
- 10:18Speaker 1: test of our faith. This determines how bad you want it.
- 10:22Speaker 1: What I'm saying to you this morning is stay focused,
- 10:26Speaker 1: stay prayerful, stay on point, get ready for him. Understand
- 10:30Speaker 1: that it's just to test to your faith. That your
- 10:33Speaker 1: faith will be tested. But you got to stay the course. Man,
- 10:37Speaker 1: You got to stay the course. It's all right, you
- 10:42Speaker 1: will be fine in due time, but you gotta give
- 10:45Speaker 1: some of this stuff a chance to play itself out.
- 10:48Speaker 1: Because nothing lasts forever. Ain't no pain forever. All right.
- 10:54Speaker 1: I'm just trying to help you with that, because boy,
- 10:56Speaker 1: I'm dealing with it all the time. Stay prayerful, God
- 11:01Speaker 1: got help for you. All right, let's go. You're listening
- 11:05Speaker 1: to Steven Show. Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, people

- 12:27Speaker 1: I have a particular infinity for the hustlers. Though Smithy's

- 12:41Speaker 1: in Now do you still play this? Anyone on the show?
- 12:44Speaker 1: Play well, I got a table. I don't play nowhere,

- 12:48Speaker 1: come over, you know me? I got we have a
- 12:50Speaker 1: pool table. I like it a little bit. I go

- 13:12Speaker 1: sticks to that ship. Yeah, somebody's look coolest, Hey, I'll
- 13:16Speaker 1: put that that. I love that. It's something about yeah,
- 13:23Speaker 1: it's something about the thing about it. Though. When I'm
- 13:25Speaker 1: chalking it, I have to talk tray. But when I'm
- 13:32Speaker 1: chalking though, that's when I'm talking about before I'm getting
- 13:35Speaker 1: ready to shoot. For example, Oh I got some tray
- 13:39Speaker 1: talk for you. And don't let the pocket I called
- 13:41Speaker 1: don't let go in. Do you put the other chalk
- 13:46Speaker 1: on your hands? Yeah, put a little bit of that
- 13:48Speaker 1: on that. I use the standard bridge. We got to
- 13:51Speaker 1: go play a game. Man, just see this, get your
- 13:54Speaker 1: draws took off everything. Let's play five hundred the game.
- 13:59Speaker 1: Let's do that. Ain't ain't no problem and going you
- 14:01Speaker 1: want you won't have a damn dollar when you leave,
- 14:04Speaker 1: because you're gonna gues. You're gonna play one game then
- 14:07Speaker 1: such a hustle. No five game, let's go you you're
- 14:12Speaker 1: not gonna believe how much money you ain't pro We
- 14:16Speaker 1: can't play on your table two. We ain't gotta come
- 14:18Speaker 1: to mind. We can play at the shadow. What's o
- 14:23Speaker 1: table you got? Tommy know you ain't got the naw
- 14:27Speaker 1: Why because it's too big? Because he's still Yeah, move
- 14:34Speaker 1: my box over here. You got to break with the bridge.
- 14:38Speaker 1: All right, we gotta go. It's time when we come
- 14:41Speaker 1: back for Junior's Truth be Told and uh yeah, something
- 14:45Speaker 1: funny coming up at thirty two after we'll be back.
- 14:48Speaker 1: You're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, come on, Junior,
- 14:52Speaker 1: time for Truth be Told. Yeah, I'm sure listen. Um,
- 14:57Speaker 1: I want to say something this is This is very
- 14:59Speaker 1: important because I know this happen to everybody. Troop trup
- 15:02Speaker 1: be told people who are allergic to food need to
- 15:06Speaker 1: eat with other people who are allergic to food. But
- 15:10Speaker 1: if you allergic to eggs, you know people who are
- 15:13Speaker 1: allergic to food, food allergies, your food allerge. Yeah, you
- 15:16Speaker 1: need to eat with other people with food allege. I'm
- 15:19Speaker 1: tired of this. Look heard of all say something. Don't
- 15:24Speaker 1: wait till we get you the restaurant. I didn't ordered
- 15:27Speaker 1: my plate. Get here and you say I can't eat fish? Okay,
- 15:31Speaker 1: where was all this information on the way to the
- 15:33Speaker 1: restaurant before we got there? You could have been saying something,
- 15:36Speaker 1: we didn't pass six other restaurants, not in order. Uh,
- 15:40Speaker 1: I can't even stand the smell of fish, or we'll
- 15:42Speaker 1: get your fit and that because we were about to eat.
- 15:45Speaker 1: I'm not finishing. I'm nowhere else to stick yourself. I'm
- 15:49Speaker 1: sorry because I ain't got trying to be driving. You
- 15:51Speaker 1: can ball my gags and feed you. We gotta keep
- 15:54Speaker 1: changing restaurants because you're allergic to fish. I'm fine with
- 15:58Speaker 1: fish out. So they can't sit across from the case
- 16:02Speaker 1: smell it. They can't be around sent him in the shot.
- 16:07Speaker 1: I always wonder why he was twitching over there. I
- 16:09Speaker 1: ain't know, letting me know. Secondly, stop asking people what's
- 16:15Speaker 1: in it? Okay, we don't. It's stupid everything. It can't
- 16:20Speaker 1: come out every time to take you somewhere. What's in that?
- 16:23Speaker 1: When y'all asked me, you just ain't gonna eat because
- 16:26Speaker 1: you just need to eat with other people who would
- 16:28Speaker 1: learned the food, take time trying to please you. I
- 16:32Speaker 1: like that. I like it. Turn the right man. Organizations. Yeah,
- 16:37Speaker 1: they need food allergy, especially here. People that allergic to peanuts.
- 16:42Speaker 1: They can't eat the whole plane, can't get no peanup.
- 16:46Speaker 1: I was on the plane one time. We take off
- 16:50Speaker 1: and I'm sitting there for a class, and all of
- 16:52Speaker 1: sudden the dude open up that side door where the
- 16:54Speaker 1: CA didn't come in. They got to take the stuff out,
- 16:56Speaker 1: and we were already ready to pull off. Come to
- 16:58Speaker 1: find out, lady and got a plane with a little
- 17:01Speaker 1: boy that's allergic to peanuts and nuts. He has a
- 17:04Speaker 1: nut allan, So they came in and took all the
- 17:08Speaker 1: nuts off the plane. What so now I'm I'm because
- 17:12Speaker 1: I'm hungry, I'm waiting on my little bowl of hot
- 17:15Speaker 1: mixed nuts. They took all the nuts off the plane.
- 17:19Speaker 1: So they're doing this. I don't really pay no attention.
- 17:22Speaker 1: So the lady come around taking your order what you
- 17:24Speaker 1: want and I said, I like that now. I said,
- 17:27Speaker 1: could I please, just ahead of time, get the mixed nuts.
- 17:30Speaker 1: I'm really hunger? Oh, Mr Harving, I'm so sorry that
- 17:33Speaker 1: was the delay. We had to take all the nuts
- 17:35Speaker 1: off the plane. There's a little boy on the plane
- 17:37Speaker 1: that has a severe nut allergy. Okay, well wait a minute,
- 17:42Speaker 1: what do I got to do with the other hundred
- 17:44Speaker 1: fifty No, no, no, no, no, he's a little sick ass.
- 17:50Speaker 1: Can't fly. Whoa, we got a hunt of the other
- 17:54Speaker 1: people on here got a ticket. We can't handle damn
- 17:57Speaker 1: nuts because a little old thought in the back and
- 18:00Speaker 1: he you know, some of the rich ass named Brad.
- 18:04Speaker 1: They wanted them a little boys in the back because
- 18:06Speaker 1: he can't eat nuts. He can't he can't even smell
- 18:09Speaker 1: on nuts. We don't need to be on the plane. Then,
- 18:12Speaker 1: how you're function in life like that? You're gonna fast
- 18:14Speaker 1: by somebody eating some nuts and got some nuts. I mean,
- 18:16Speaker 1: there's people with some really bad nuts out of there.
- 18:19Speaker 1: Oh yeah, I ain't really tripping on that. Just if
- 18:23Speaker 1: you're gonna get on the plane, you can't have it.
- 18:25Speaker 1: Take all the damn nuts all, No, he can't do that.
- 18:28Speaker 1: But she can't smell nuts, smellow. He can't smell nuts
- 18:34Speaker 1: some Now, if you're sitting next to him and you
- 18:35Speaker 1: opened up nuts, he has allergic reaction. We need to
- 18:38Speaker 1: put his ass in the bubble, his ass a little
- 18:42Speaker 1: astronaut soup so he can go live a little happy
- 18:45Speaker 1: half life. For that. You can't even go into the
- 18:48Speaker 1: ice cream truck as a boy, because he had the
- 18:51Speaker 1: stuff in there, got a nut on it. Buddy, you
- 18:54Speaker 1: can't go down to the stoup the candy counter. You
- 18:57Speaker 1: about to throw off pepper patties sitting up sitting up
- 19:01Speaker 1: in here, man. You know what too though, At Tasha School,
- 19:05Speaker 1: you can't. You can't send kids to school with nuts
- 19:07Speaker 1: and the snacks. They are real strict rules on all
- 19:10Speaker 1: that at school. Of what your kid can eat and
- 19:13Speaker 1: have at school, what your own child can have. You
- 19:15Speaker 1: can't have all that because that kid might be allergic
- 19:18Speaker 1: to it. My wife Jackie, had a relative comeback for
- 19:20Speaker 1: Thanksgiving and say they some little girls and allergic to nuts.
- 19:24Speaker 1: And but what did y'all fry to turkey? And I said,
- 19:27Speaker 1: peanut on, she can't have that. I didn't tell he
- 19:30Speaker 1: don't need the damn take it cut off from them.
- 19:37Speaker 1: I'm noting, man. We are with a pardoner. We finished golfing.
- 19:43Speaker 1: We're going to the crab shot. Crab shot. He said
- 19:49Speaker 1: nothing heat, don't eat shelf fish? What you think? What
- 19:58Speaker 1: do you think we act? Why do you walk in
- 20:01Speaker 1: the help that trying to ask for some else? He
- 20:04Speaker 1: ain't got nothing. Now get crabs, take them. They can
- 20:13Speaker 1: do that for you. But the ass is eating crab
- 20:17Speaker 1: nowhere else. I said, dunk, Are you for real? Man?
- 20:21Speaker 1: You know I didn't even really know the guy. He
- 20:22Speaker 1: just went with us. I don't gonna go with you guys, man,
- 20:25Speaker 1: guys are so funny. Okay, we send up in here, man,
- 20:28Speaker 1: we all and I ain't got three pounds of crap.
- 20:30Speaker 1: I'm ready to go give me the big yeah, talking trash.
- 20:35Speaker 1: Were all side. We got cigars. His only crack, literally
- 20:40Speaker 1: his sitting up in here. I didn't like nothing about him.
- 20:43Speaker 1: He didn't smoke cigars and his ass couldn't he shell
- 20:47Speaker 1: didn't don't tell you, right, now me and you will
- 20:50Speaker 1: not be free. Yeah. You better take your EPP and
- 20:53Speaker 1: hold it to your nick like you a hospital. Because
- 20:56Speaker 1: so let me ask you this, what happens to them

- 26:20Speaker 1: to find yourself a job. You're gonna go down the enemy,
- 26:23Speaker 1: gonna blow your brains out. I ain't really trying to
- 26:26Speaker 1: hear all this right here. What I'm trying to do
- 26:28Speaker 1: is pay you. Just why I'm fifty you driving me
- 26:31Speaker 1: where I'm trying to go, and you ain't meet back

- 26:52Speaker 1: don't know, man, I need to know what are you're
- 26:54Speaker 1: gonna be preaching to mat dog because I've been that
- 26:56Speaker 1: man that's on driving a limo. Because I've been that
- 27:00Speaker 1: young brother. I'm trying to keep you from going there
- 27:02Speaker 1: because you won't like it. Look at so that. I
- 27:04Speaker 1: don't know what to tell you at this point. First
- 27:06Speaker 1: of all, I'm not doing it, so you cut that out. Okay.
- 27:08Speaker 1: Now I'm thinking of you and all the other young
- 27:10Speaker 1: brothers to do this thumb. You watch too many of
- 27:13Speaker 1: the movies or something. Brother. You need to get your
- 27:15Speaker 1: great because they gotta place for you. So let me
- 27:18Speaker 1: tell you something. They read my offer. I read it
- 27:20Speaker 1: anything my mama told me. They didn't want me to know.
- 27:22Speaker 1: They cut it out. Do you feel me? They looked
- 27:25Speaker 1: at me every night where they wanted to feed me. God,
- 27:28Speaker 1: it's that I had to eat or die. You ain't
- 27:30Speaker 1: ready for that, man, You ain't ready for what. I
- 27:32Speaker 1: think he got your land. Your brothers don't know what's
- 27:35Speaker 1: going on out here. You got it too easy. See
- 27:37Speaker 1: now you're talking about going down. They robbing the bank.
- 27:39Speaker 1: You ain't no bank ropper. Your sun like no third
- 27:41Speaker 1: goal with a remo. The way you're going, you ain't
- 27:44Speaker 1: making nothing because they were blowing your young I want
- 27:46Speaker 1: about their paper. You don't understand that, and you sow
- 27:50Speaker 1: you ready for no jail. Could I say one more
- 27:52Speaker 1: thing to you? That. Yeah, what is it? All I
- 27:54Speaker 1: want to do is tell you it is that I'm
- 27:56Speaker 1: left you tell me from the Steve Harvey Morning Show
- 27:59Speaker 1: and you're going card. They don't got me the prank
- 28:01Speaker 1: phone call you. I don't give a who you are.
- 28:04Speaker 1: If you around with them folks downtown, they're gonna blow
- 28:07Speaker 1: you now. They're gonna get your hundred years under the jail.
- 28:10Speaker 1: Do you do? Did you just hear what I just said? Though?
- 28:13Speaker 1: What you said? Something about what my partner? You know?
- 28:15Speaker 1: I I no, no, no, no, I said, I'm nephew
- 28:19Speaker 1: Tommy from the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Your boy the
- 28:23Speaker 1: other another driver, Cordell got me the prank phone call
- 28:27Speaker 1: you if you oh you mean Steve Harvey on the radio. No, man, no, no, no,
- 28:36Speaker 1: this is are you serious? Man? He see so your
- 28:38Speaker 1: boy Carddell got me to pray phone call you. Man,
- 28:41Speaker 1: I'm gonna get that. I'm gonna get that. When you
- 28:44Speaker 1: lit my fire man, I don't know that. I mean
- 28:47Speaker 1: my fight moved Howard, he said, be careful, he said,
- 28:51Speaker 1: big sea. So he's been he's been down there. He
- 28:54Speaker 1: din't done some times. Been that man, Come down, baby,
- 28:59Speaker 1: come down. I got one more question to ask you, man,
- 29:01Speaker 1: what's the baddest radio show in the land. I want
- 29:05Speaker 1: to Nephew Tommy, but Steve Harvey Morning Show. I got you, baby,
- 29:11Speaker 1: me and you got you. Yeah. Well, I'm gonna get here,
- 29:14Speaker 1: Ma man, meet you brother. I oh you want to
- 29:17Speaker 1: y'all gotta be real though, that's how you Robbert Bank
- 29:19Speaker 1: in a limo. If you're gonna Robert Bank, I shouldn't
- 29:21Speaker 1: say that. Huh okay, well, no giving out criminal. If
- 29:25Speaker 1: you're gonna Robert Man, you should rob it in the limo.
- 29:28Speaker 1: First of all, what's the limo driver find out? Like
- 29:30Speaker 1: the one dude in this prank that that's put you
- 29:33Speaker 1: up to. It's gonna be hard getting limo. Oh yeah, yeah,
- 29:39Speaker 1: all right. Tell us about the play making Georgia Tonight, Shirley,
- 29:44Speaker 1: I am in making George. It's me, it's Johnny gill
- 29:46Speaker 1: It's Robert Gillings, this Jack Harry Shirley Murder. As we
- 29:50Speaker 1: lay on Steve, we are in here stage play Mama's
- 29:55Speaker 1: Boy making Jars of Tonight. But no Loma's Boy, he
- 30:02Speaker 1: said Shirley Murdock. As we lay uncle Steve like that
- 30:07Speaker 1: Jaim jail, jail. That's your favorite song. You love her
- 30:13Speaker 1: with that song. Yes, I just can't stand it because
- 30:20Speaker 1: it happened. It happened to me. Yeah, come, you didn't
- 30:24Speaker 1: wake me up because you look so peaceful? Do I
- 30:29Speaker 1: look now? You see the look on my face? And
- 30:32Speaker 1: and welcome realized that the sun is over? Do I
- 30:35Speaker 1: look peaceful to you? Well? You did last night? All right?
- 30:40Speaker 1: Ms Anna is coming up next with our national news.
- 30:42Speaker 1: And oh, the president has had a really rough week.
- 30:47Speaker 1: Be careful, we back, We'll be back. You're listening to
- 30:52Speaker 1: Steve Morning Show. President Trump has had a bad week.
- 30:57Speaker 1: I know you say he doesn't care, Steve, but listen
- 30:59Speaker 1: to this. Okay. The resented invitation to the Golden State
- 31:02Speaker 1: Warriors to visit the White House. That was a problem.
- 31:06Speaker 1: War with the NFL. Another thing, the repeal of Obamacare
- 31:10Speaker 1: not happening. And he got called out about his lack
- 31:14Speaker 1: of response to Puerto Rico. It's just what is this?
- 31:18Speaker 1: It's just Thursday, okay? Uh? And he got called out,
- 31:22Speaker 1: like I said, about his lack of response to Puerto Rico.
- 31:24Speaker 1: It seems like he spent this entire week tweet tweeting
- 31:27Speaker 1: about the NFL instead of helping the people in Puerto
- 31:31Speaker 1: Rico after Hurricane Maria. Now we hear the President is
- 31:34Speaker 1: angry about the Alabama runoff election. Senator Luther Strange was
- 31:39Speaker 1: endorsed by President Trump. Remember this, he went down to
- 31:42Speaker 1: Alabama all of that. Yeah, he lost to uh, Strange
- 31:47Speaker 1: loss to Judge Roy Moore in a runoff election for
- 31:50Speaker 1: the Alabama Senate seat once held by Jeff Sessions. Now
- 31:54Speaker 1: this is um attention. Steve Harvey nation, Okay, stay woke.
- 32:01Speaker 1: The guy that won, George Roy, was backed by Steve. Yes,
- 32:11Speaker 1: he was a man. This is crazy and uh, but
- 32:17Speaker 1: did you see Trump on TV talking about you know,
- 32:20Speaker 1: but while the guy was standing there right after he
- 32:22Speaker 1: endors to if I'm wrong, you know, you know, you know,
- 32:26Speaker 1: this could be a bad move for me because if
- 32:29Speaker 1: he loses, it's gonna be all. Donald Trump doesn't doesn't
- 32:34Speaker 1: push another politician over the line. Just all come on me.
- 32:39Speaker 1: This is what he was saying this week. I was
- 32:42Speaker 1: looking at this guy, going, man, he's not gonna be presidential. Yeah,
- 32:48Speaker 1: he's just not. And this was Mitch McConnell's pick. And
- 32:51Speaker 1: Mitch McConnell. Now President Trump is mad at Mitchell. Mitch McConnell.
- 32:57Speaker 1: I mean, it's just like one thing after another. But
- 33:00Speaker 1: he still has to run a runoff in December. Judge
- 33:04Speaker 1: Roy Moore, who the President kept calling raymore either way,
- 33:08Speaker 1: he kept calling them rare. Anyway, he has a runoff
- 33:13Speaker 1: against the Democrat coming up in December. You know what
- 33:18Speaker 1: I like? You know what I do like about Donald Trump? Though?
- 33:22Speaker 1: You know what I do like about it. He got
- 33:24Speaker 1: about the same vocabulary I got yours. He's actually president
- 33:34Speaker 1: with a twenty two word vocabin. Yeah, it's gonna be
- 33:38Speaker 1: really great. That's gonna be really terrific. This is so good.
- 33:43Speaker 1: You know, they're so good. You know they got no
- 33:47Speaker 1: arms and they were so no that's what he said.
- 33:52Speaker 1: They were so good. You know they've got no arms
- 33:55Speaker 1: and legs. They were just but just the same president
- 33:59Speaker 1: that was doing an impersonation of a handicapped person, a
- 34:05Speaker 1: disabled person. I mean, wait a minute, man, if I
- 34:10Speaker 1: do that joke on my TV show, do you have
- 34:13Speaker 1: any idea what would happen? You wouldn't have a TV show.
- 34:19Speaker 1: But it's crazy, man. And then, like what you said
- 34:23Speaker 1: about the football players, you should fire him. You're a
- 34:25Speaker 1: fire this look, man, this this ain't a game show.
- 34:30Speaker 1: Doc This is real life. And I'm sitting here and
- 34:33Speaker 1: I've realized this guy's seventy one, seventy. He's never been
- 34:38Speaker 1: a servant. He's always had money. He doesn't understand people
- 34:43Speaker 1: who don't have money. There's no concept of the real struggle.
- 34:47Speaker 1: His struggle is how to get stuff financed. Our struggle
- 34:51Speaker 1: is how to get stuff period. That's a huge difference, folks,
- 35:00Speaker 1: match a huge difference. And this guy is the president
- 35:04Speaker 1: and he's never been a servant, so he has no
- 35:07Speaker 1: idea how to lead because he's never been a great servant.
- 35:10Speaker 1: He's very emotional, very petty too. All right, Steve, let's
- 35:15Speaker 1: move on. Introduced Miss Anne please, ladies and gentlemen. She's here,
- 35:18Speaker 1: the lovely, the talented, the informative, well spoken miss and trip. Yeah,
- 35:27Speaker 1: thank you very much. Good morning, everybody. This is entered
- 35:30Speaker 1: with the news everybody, and yes, there is a lot
- 35:32Speaker 1: to say and a lot to tell about what's been
- 35:33Speaker 1: going on with the president and with other people. First,
- 35:36Speaker 1: let's start out with Indiana. Yesterday, President Trump announced the
- 35:38Speaker 1: new GOP plan to overhaul the federal tax code. He
- 35:41Speaker 1: says it's simple and it's fair, calls for lower taxes
- 35:44Speaker 1: for businesses, especially cooperations. Along with getting rid of the
- 35:48Speaker 1: estate tax that's the one that involves the state's worth
- 35:50Speaker 1: more than five million dollars. It also calls for the
- 35:53Speaker 1: elimination of most itemized deductions while keeping the most popular
- 35:56Speaker 1: ones like mortgage interests and charital contributions. That's one side
- 36:00Speaker 1: of the matter. The other comes from Democratic Santa Charles Schumer,
- 36:03Speaker 1: who says it's merely a massive windfall for the wealthy.
- 36:06Speaker 1: Biggest winners will be the everyday American workers as jobs
- 36:10Speaker 1: start pouring into our country and as wages start going up.
- 36:16Speaker 1: Under this plan, the wealthiest Americans and wealthiest corporations make
- 36:21Speaker 1: out like bandits, while middle class Americans are left holding
- 36:25Speaker 1: the bag. So that's both sides of the argument there.
- 36:27Speaker 1: We'll see how things play out on Capitol Hill. The
- 36:30Speaker 1: hospital ship Comfort has been dispatched to Puerto Rico as
- 36:32Speaker 1: medical officials in San Juan Sa, they've been operating in
- 36:35Speaker 1: crisis mode in the wake of Hurricane Maria, with only
- 36:38Speaker 1: emergency power for doctors struggling to provide medical care there. Meanwhile,
- 36:42Speaker 1: the owner of the Dallas Mavericks, Mark Cuban, has loaned
- 36:45Speaker 1: his team's playing two player jj Barea so Barrea can
- 36:49Speaker 1: fly supplies into pr By the way, this is just
- 36:51Speaker 1: the latest example of the assistance that the multi billionaire
- 36:54Speaker 1: Mark Cuban has been giving to communities around the country.
- 36:57Speaker 1: Does a lot of good. By the way, the man
- 36:58Speaker 1: who made his business planting a bunch of fake news
- 37:02Speaker 1: stories about Hillary Clinton during the presidential campaign is dead.
- 37:05Speaker 1: Paul Horner, who claimed credit for Donald Trump's win, found
- 37:08Speaker 1: dead this week in Phoenix at age thirty eight. Horners
- 37:10Speaker 1: family said he had a history of using prescription drugs.
- 37:13Speaker 1: People still taking a knee in places off the grid
- 37:16Speaker 1: iron a case in point. Congresswoman Sheila Jackson lee on
- 37:19Speaker 1: the House floor. I kneel in honor of the First Amendment.
- 37:22Speaker 1: I kneel because the flag is a symbol for freedom.
- 37:26Speaker 1: I kneel because I'm gonna stand against racism. I kneel
- 37:30Speaker 1: because I will stand with those young men, and I'll
- 37:33Speaker 1: stand with our soldiers, and I'll stand with America. Eugene
- 37:38Speaker 1: the Butterfly coming up twenty minutes after the hour. Stay
- 37:40Speaker 1: tuned to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. You're listening to
- 37:43Speaker 1: the Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, Steve, please introduced
- 37:47Speaker 1: the but your fly coroten, No, that's natty, come around,
- 37:53Speaker 1: do do more like Jr? Put out together everybody. It's
- 38:03Speaker 1: the butterfly. Ba. See that's how you flap me up
- 38:07Speaker 1: in here, Stephen, just like that. That's how you flap
- 38:09Speaker 1: me flutter flutter, Hey, Shirley, Hey Carl I Hey Jr.
- 38:14Speaker 1: Time me, good morning? What's up? Yeah, that's how you
- 38:20Speaker 1: flap me anybody. It's National Beer Day, so today every
- 38:23Speaker 1: I don't really drink, but it's a National beer day.
- 38:25Speaker 1: Everybody have a drink a beer today, aol or whatever
- 38:29Speaker 1: you want to say. Are you sinking beer? Gud? You're
- 38:34Speaker 1: trying to say, do I have a beer? Yeah? I
- 38:39Speaker 1: thought you did? M So Steven me. I'm thinking this me,
- 38:43Speaker 1: you and Junior in time, he can get together, has
- 38:46Speaker 1: some some cigars and drink a beer. What do you
- 38:49Speaker 1: mean I'll stop smoking smoking? Yeah? What did that happen?
- 38:54Speaker 1: To be back? We'll be back tomorrow. Okay, Well, if
- 38:59Speaker 1: you don't smoke a cigar, that's fine. We did. We
- 39:01Speaker 1: just sit down and have a beer Corona or a Heineken.
- 39:04Speaker 1: I know a bunch of old people. You can go
- 39:06Speaker 1: have an old Milwaukee with you can go ahead of
- 39:08Speaker 1: with him, Shirley, and I'll have your hand a beer,
- 39:12Speaker 1: never root beer beer. Yes, I'm not a beer drinker.
- 39:16Speaker 1: What kind of Carla Corona with the lime in it?
- 39:19Speaker 1: Corona with some sound I don't, with some nachos I
- 39:23Speaker 1: like it? See there, So Stephen, we could do something
- 39:27Speaker 1: like that and get some nachos and some beer and
- 39:29Speaker 1: have a good time. It's just for one day, okay,
- 39:36Speaker 1: so come on, it's not doing it. Yeah, let's go, Butterfly.
- 39:41Speaker 1: It just it just bothers me. Then I'm always trying
- 39:44Speaker 1: to connect with him, but it's just it's no connection.
- 39:48Speaker 1: I'm do you know how much the psychiatrist has cost me,
- 39:51Speaker 1: but trying to get our relationship together a lot? Yeah,
- 39:56Speaker 1: at least three dollars every time she comes on this
- 39:58Speaker 1: radio and talk to us and trying to get him.
- 40:02Speaker 1: I'm not investing a quota. But it's therapy, Steve, it's good.
- 40:07Speaker 1: We've had four sessions. That's so you really actually owe
- 40:12Speaker 1: me six hundred dollars? No, because I didn't ask for
- 40:15Speaker 1: the therapy. But you don't need you guys do need it?
- 40:18Speaker 1: You do, honestly, you don't never want to do like
- 40:24Speaker 1: what if we went to um got a massage together. Yeah,
- 40:28Speaker 1: just something where we could get away in red legs
- 40:31Speaker 1: and they go in the steam room in the world
- 40:33Speaker 1: posts and stuff like that. Would your world pop with me?
- 40:38Speaker 1: I wouldn't call. There has to be some common ground.
- 40:44Speaker 1: There has to be something, and I'm trying to find something, Shirley,
- 40:47Speaker 1: but I think the World Pull three of me, him
- 40:49Speaker 1: and Junior World Pull be great like boxing. Okay, all right,
- 40:54Speaker 1: we gotta go. Thank you, Butterfly. As always, we come
- 40:57Speaker 1: back from the break at thirty or four after Steve
- 41:00Speaker 1: Eve would like to thank some people for some of
- 41:02Speaker 1: their inventions. We'll be back. You're listening to Steve, all right,
- 41:09Speaker 1: Come on, Steve, you have a segment called I don't
- 41:12Speaker 1: know who invented it, but I'd sure like to thank them. Well,
- 41:16Speaker 1: i'd like to start this off, and we're gonna alternate,
- 41:19Speaker 1: but I'd like to start this off with the guy
- 41:21Speaker 1: that invented the salt shaker. Yeah, because if I had
- 41:29Speaker 1: to get my salt off of a block, licking it
- 41:32Speaker 1: like a deal out in the backyard, not bother me.
- 41:38Speaker 1: I'm so glad they put it in a damn shaker.
- 41:41Speaker 1: That was ingenious. Assault shaking that way. I ain't got
- 41:45Speaker 1: to use the box with the little white girl on
- 41:46Speaker 1: it with the raincoat because it just pulled too much out.
- 41:51Speaker 1: It's a spout. Somebody made the shaker, thank you. Alright, alright,
- 41:55Speaker 1: I got one whoever took that root bill and pulled
- 41:59Speaker 1: it over that ice cream and made that float. Greatest
- 42:04Speaker 1: invention in the world, right up, Ruth bill over ice cream?
- 42:16Speaker 1: All right. I'll tell you what I would like to take.
- 42:19Speaker 1: The person who was the first one to say I'm
- 42:22Speaker 1: gonna whoop your a because I've been using that with
- 42:25Speaker 1: my nephew for years and it is working. I'm telling
- 42:29Speaker 1: you I didn't know I'm gonna need that, but that
- 42:31Speaker 1: is important. Whoever was the first said that. I like
- 42:36Speaker 1: to thank the person that came up with the terms
- 42:38Speaker 1: sugar honeed ice team. I can't tell you how many
- 42:43Speaker 1: times and it came through for me. I ain't did
- 42:46Speaker 1: some sugar and it is meant so much to me
- 42:52Speaker 1: throughout the years. Thank you man, because you know I
- 42:56Speaker 1: ain't got some manure was not cutting. It was that
- 43:01Speaker 1: some ain't that some cor cock? That ain't it? That's
- 43:06Speaker 1: some poop? No, No, that don't work. That don't work.
- 43:11Speaker 1: That don't work. That's a good one. Okay. Check just
- 43:15Speaker 1: the first slave that took them chilings out that hole
- 43:18Speaker 1: and said, you know what, we're gonna figure out something
- 43:20Speaker 1: with this right here. I'm gonna work. Well, I'm gonna
- 43:24Speaker 1: clean this a real good to see what I can
- 43:26Speaker 1: do with it. I ain't gonna I'll be back, y'all
- 43:28Speaker 1: give me a minute now, really, I don't really, y'all
- 43:36Speaker 1: give me a minute. I'm gonna come back back. But
- 43:42Speaker 1: when I come back, I'll tell you what I like.
- 43:45Speaker 1: I would like to thank the person who kept the
- 43:48Speaker 1: grease and put it in the can on the stove.
- 43:52Speaker 1: Come like to thank them, because that second stack of
- 43:54Speaker 1: fish is always better before you be crunching. I don't
- 43:59Speaker 1: like to really thank them. I said, I'm not throwing
- 44:02Speaker 1: this away. I don't know what made him say it,
- 44:04Speaker 1: but I'm not throwing this away. Put that in the
- 44:06Speaker 1: criscal cane, and let's just hold on, Joe. I don't
- 44:09Speaker 1: say that, but I want to think whoever came up
- 44:14Speaker 1: with running shoes pimps was wearing dat us out at
- 44:17Speaker 1: an alarming ridge. You know how hard it is to
- 44:24Speaker 1: watch people walking? Then ran over platforms and and and
- 44:28Speaker 1: stack heels shoes. Thank god, somebody came up with a
- 44:32Speaker 1: running shoe. This is my invitation to my boy Peanut.
- 44:35Speaker 1: We were standing on the corner one day and this
- 44:37Speaker 1: was Peanut running from the police. You're gonna get caught,
- 44:53Speaker 1: yeah when he got tagged. Okay, okay, okay, okay, out
- 45:00Speaker 1: of oh sugar. How about this one? That bottom TV
- 45:07Speaker 1: only got volume? Whoever put that put that other TV
- 45:10Speaker 1: on top that only had picture right there? The picture
- 45:15Speaker 1: from the bottom, the sound is from the top. By
- 45:17Speaker 1: vice versa what whoever came up with and put that
- 45:20Speaker 1: TV on top of that? And by about down because
- 45:23Speaker 1: it's every household of that's good looking at that's good
- 45:27Speaker 1: looking at last one, Come on, whoever came up with
- 45:32Speaker 1: protect so when you go to jail, you ain't gotta
- 45:37Speaker 1: be out there with everybody else. If your assess a
- 45:40Speaker 1: little chop, a little half sisson, your ass on in
- 45:43Speaker 1: the protective custody and don't have to worry about regular prison. Like,
- 45:47Speaker 1: thank you for protective custody. Okay, I don't know who
- 45:53Speaker 1: invented it, but i'd sure like to thank them. Uh.

- 48:41Speaker 1: What the what the higher up to feel is that

- 48:48Speaker 1: I don't care what the higher ups still or how
- 48:50Speaker 1: whomever feels about my breast s eye. That's really inappropriate,
- 48:54Speaker 1: very inappropriate. I'm sorry. What's your supervisor's name, williams? Um,
- 49:01Speaker 1: I'm William You're Williams and you're calling me asking me

- 50:39Speaker 1: It does not matter who my supervisors. It doesn't matter
- 50:42Speaker 1: who your supervisor is, because I'm quite sure they can
- 50:45Speaker 1: not approve of you calling around trying to get people
- 50:47Speaker 1: to any and there's nothing wrong first of all with
- 50:49Speaker 1: the way I look there's nothing wrong with the size
- 50:51Speaker 1: of my friend. You don't agree, don't complain about the
- 50:54Speaker 1: way I look. You don't know. You don't agree that

- 51:08Speaker 1: taking on the issue. You are you? Are you serious
- 51:12Speaker 1: right now? You're serious? Imous? You know what? It don't

- 57:57Speaker 1: We get along like best friends. We often sit around
- 58:00Speaker 1: and laugh and joke with each other for hours. We
- 58:02Speaker 1: have real conversations, and we just enjoy each other's company.
- 58:06Speaker 1: He's very attentive to my knees and once, and the
- 58:09Speaker 1: sex is absolutely explosive. Our only problem is that he
- 58:13Speaker 1: is a bit too controlling. He has to know where
- 58:16Speaker 1: I'm at, what I'm doing, what I'm wearing, and who
- 58:19Speaker 1: I'm with at all times, and it's beginning to pluck
- 58:22Speaker 1: my nerves. I've never been the type to allow a
- 58:24Speaker 1: man to clock my every move, and I don't feel
- 58:27Speaker 1: like I should start now. When he's not with me,
- 58:29Speaker 1: he's calling and texting me seems like every minute of
- 58:32Speaker 1: the day and night, to the point that I have
- 58:34Speaker 1: to actually cut off my phone sometimes just to get
- 58:37Speaker 1: some rest. He even finds the time to text me
- 58:40Speaker 1: or call me during all of his breaks when he's
- 58:42Speaker 1: at work. Sometimes he spends his entire lunch hour talking
- 58:45Speaker 1: to me on the phone instead of eating, and one
- 58:48Speaker 1: hour I have once received as many as thirty text
- 58:52Speaker 1: messages from him. He's out of control. When I lay
- 58:55Speaker 1: for work at night, he wants me uh to send
- 58:57Speaker 1: him a picture from my camera phone so that you
- 59:00Speaker 1: can see what I'm wearing. And he has even gone
- 59:02Speaker 1: so far as to show up at my house as
- 59:05Speaker 1: I was leaving for work, just to see what I
- 59:07Speaker 1: had on. I don't understand why he does this. When
- 59:11Speaker 1: I questioned him about it, he has no answer in
- 59:13Speaker 1: access if it's no big deal. But clearly this is
- 59:16Speaker 1: becoming a big problem now. I've been told by my friends,
- 59:20Speaker 1: whom are also Puerto Rican that Puerto Rican man are
- 59:23Speaker 1: controlling and possessive. I'm not sure if that's just how
- 59:26Speaker 1: Puerto Rican man are. I've dated a few others in
- 59:29Speaker 1: the past, but not enough to know, or if he
- 59:31Speaker 1: just has issues of his own that he needs to
- 59:34Speaker 1: get a handle on. Please help. I'm crazy about this guy,
- 59:38Speaker 1: but this relationship won't last if he continues with this madness.
- 59:41Speaker 1: Don't know what to do? Okay, you know, fear, don't
- 59:50Speaker 1: know what to do. Um. The word that comes to
- 59:52Speaker 1: mind is stalker. You know what, this is just too much?
- 59:55Speaker 1: Your man is jealous, he's insecure and yes, controlling. Of
- 59:59Speaker 1: course this would get on your nerves. Um. It could
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: get pretty scary too, you know, him just showing up
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: at your job and stuff. Yeah, send me a picture.
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: You say you get along like best friends. Who tell
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: your best friend to back it up? Okay? Tell him
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: it's not normal to run somebody down like he's running
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: you down. Uh, in this relationship. Relationships have to be
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: built on trust. I know there are cultures where men
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: are very denominate, dominating and domineering. I don't know that
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: to be the case with Puerto Rican men. But this
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: guy has all the signs of a stalker. You know,
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: he just does. Trying to control someone like this is major.
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: I think you really need to look at him for
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: the control freak that he is. Consider your safety and
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: your well being, and let someone in your family know
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: what's up, you know, just in case something goes down,
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: and we certainly don't want that to happen. Steve, let
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: me swallow this because I can't wait for it. And
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: know that African American female in her late twenties Puerto
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: Rican male in his early twenties, the twenties, early twenties.
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: Already when you're talking women and men, when the woman
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: is older in the twenties, she is much older. Right, Yeah,
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: this ain't like you thirty nine and he thirty five
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: where it starts balancing out you twenty nine one. But
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: let's just shut this whole letter down. Here's your whole problem, sistem.
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: Did you not say that the sex is absolutely explosive
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: about time? Did you not say that the sex is
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: absolutely explosive? Firecrackers an amazing word that goes your whole problem? Right,
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: you have an explosive sex. Now he's frum Now he's
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: falling around looking for you in the daytime with a
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: flash like he want to know what you got on,
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: where you're going, who you're doing it. Which, show me
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: a picture, take me let me see you what you
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: got on? He's sweating you like host don't so? Now
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: you want to know what your problem is? Your problem is,
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: y'all have it? I explosive sex problem. My suggestion to
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: you is, fis it out a little bit, put a
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: little take some of the explosion, all of it, dude,
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: do a little auta self to sex. Fis fist. Oh
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: what a relief it is. But as long as you
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: have an explosive sex, please know when I come back,
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: I will tell you what's about to follow. Now, Yeah,
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: I want you to tell me what explosive Twelve after
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: you're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show, Don't Forget today at
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: one thirty pm. That is today at one thirty pm
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: Eastern time, I will be on Facebook Live for the
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: Strawberry Letter Live after show. Uh you can find me
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: at My Girl Shirley or Shirley Strawberry Live. Will be
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: on Facebook. Come and join us please. But right now, Steve,
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: let's get to part two of today's Strawberry Letter. That
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: is about one thing. An African American female in her
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: late twenties. Yeah, currently relationship with a Puerto Rican male
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: in his early twe She seems to think that he's
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: a bit to control. He has to as a sermon
- 1:03:53Speaker 1: all that time. Come on here now, Ah, he want
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: to know what I'm doing and what I'm wearing, who
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: I'm with at all times. And it is beginning to
- 1:04:09Speaker 1: pluck my ner. Yeah. Uh. When at work in an hour,
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: instead of eating, he's talking to her on the phone.
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: I don't want no food. Sometimes it's been as minies
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: thetic text messages too many, too many text messages in
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: latch break. Well, I have not text message on my
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: phone that the time since I had the phone. Okay,
- 1:04:41Speaker 1: do you see a problem here? Yeah, it says, It
- 1:04:48Speaker 1: says as I read on that he has gone so
- 1:04:52Speaker 1: far as to show up at my house when I'm
- 1:04:56Speaker 1: leaving for whack, Yes, to see I had on. Now
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: what is that about passion? Ah, that is fantasize, that
- 1:05:05Speaker 1: is high, That is Menana Carlo fantasizea cal that's a
- 1:05:12Speaker 1: combination of a Hawaiian hello and a black stump. There's
- 1:05:17Speaker 1: a Melana Colo type thing going on. Hill n. She's
- 1:05:25Speaker 1: been told by friends who are also Puerto Rican pe
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: off for shot for sure, that Puerto Rican men are
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: controlling and possessing all right, and she says that she's
- 1:05:41Speaker 1: not sure if how portal me rereaking men really are
- 1:05:46Speaker 1: because she's only dated a few in the paint. Well,
- 1:05:54Speaker 1: let's take this one step further. Come on, maybe you
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: need to quit date period, because it ain't just pot
- 1:06:05Speaker 1: to weaken me once you've passed out some explosive sex
- 1:06:11Speaker 1: not not not not not not not not. Now tell
- 1:06:13Speaker 1: me what explosion means. Not explosive sexiest when right in
- 1:06:18Speaker 1: the middle of it, your your mind leaves you and
- 1:06:24Speaker 1: you have a lot of body experience. It's when you
- 1:06:28Speaker 1: actually standing on the foot of the bed watching yourself
- 1:06:31Speaker 1: go to work. That's right, that's right. Explosive sexiest when
- 1:06:35Speaker 1: the moment comes of ultimate excitement, you reach over and
- 1:06:41Speaker 1: tat the corners off the fitted sheet. You can actually
- 1:06:44Speaker 1: do that. Your toes are dug into the mattress, trying
- 1:06:48Speaker 1: to position yourself harder sparks it's coming up off your
- 1:06:52Speaker 1: toe nail. Thank you, Steve. We gotta go join me
- 1:06:59Speaker 1: on Facebook Live today at one thirty pm Eastern time.
- 1:07:01Speaker 1: I'll be waiting for you. We're gonna talk about today's
- 1:07:04Speaker 1: strawberry letter. I'll have my fresh strawberry pick of the
- 1:07:06Speaker 1: day and we'll talk about trending topics. But right now,
- 1:07:10Speaker 1: introduce our girl from the talk, Steve. She is here,
- 1:07:13Speaker 1: sure do wood, Steve Harvey. Okay, I gotta sort of
- 1:07:20Speaker 1: sort against serious big ups uh to the players and
- 1:07:24Speaker 1: the owners and the NFL for doing what they're supposed
- 1:07:27Speaker 1: to do taking the knee, and just because we take
- 1:07:31Speaker 1: a knee on me, we don't have respect for the
- 1:07:33Speaker 1: national anthem. I'm a former Air Force reservist. I put
- 1:07:37Speaker 1: on a uniform to uphold the constitution of this great nation.
- 1:07:40Speaker 1: The anthem makes me feel good when I hear it,
- 1:07:43Speaker 1: but I'm also part of the population that I believe
- 1:07:45Speaker 1: is being disenfranchised. And I stand with Cat and for
- 1:07:49Speaker 1: everybody they're talking about the anthem. I'm gonna need you
- 1:07:51Speaker 1: to stand your big behinds up when they play it
- 1:07:54Speaker 1: everywhere if you respect it so much, because I don't believe, Charlotte,
- 1:07:58Speaker 1: that everybody's standing up when the anthemist play and they
- 1:08:01Speaker 1: in their house and they got their nachos in their hands.
- 1:08:05Speaker 1: So don't hold the players to a different standard than
- 1:08:07Speaker 1: you don't do for yourself. I just want they don't
- 1:08:10Speaker 1: pay attention to it when they see it on TV.
- 1:08:13Speaker 1: They at the house chilling, that's they get in front
- 1:08:15Speaker 1: of everybody else in here, come the front game. That's right,
- 1:08:18Speaker 1: that's that's right. And it don't mean we don't love
- 1:08:20Speaker 1: the country, because they always want to say we're not patriotic.
- 1:08:22Speaker 1: But we've been fighting in every conflict the United States have,
- 1:08:26Speaker 1: even when we wasn't full citizens, even when we were
- 1:08:29Speaker 1: considered three fifths of a man, we was fighting in conflict.
- 1:08:32Speaker 1: So don't say we don't love America because we can
- 1:08:35Speaker 1: go down the list of people that have given their
- 1:08:37Speaker 1: life for this country. I think it has to be
- 1:08:39Speaker 1: pointed out though these people are not kneeling. Stop saying
- 1:08:44Speaker 1: it's disrespectful to our serviceman. That's because it has nothing
- 1:08:48Speaker 1: to do with the servicemen and servicewomen. That's not why
- 1:08:52Speaker 1: they're kneeling. That's right. People are taking it, and the
- 1:08:55Speaker 1: President even has twisted it that I was down here
- 1:08:58Speaker 1: looking at these people have lost their limbs and for
- 1:09:01Speaker 1: this country and for how dare them not respect these servicemen?
- 1:09:04Speaker 1: Hey man, that's not what they're doing. A great SoundBite, though,
- 1:09:09Speaker 1: but that's not what it's. Let's let's do what we
- 1:09:12Speaker 1: do really well. Steve Harving everybody on this show. So
- 1:09:15Speaker 1: you're talking about some s O B s. What you
- 1:09:17Speaker 1: just talked about was me and my mama. So now
- 1:09:20Speaker 1: we got a problem. When you got a problem, what
- 1:09:25Speaker 1: he's created that and then he's talked you should walk
- 1:09:28Speaker 1: out of those stadiums. So now that has caused some
- 1:09:31Speaker 1: people who are hateful to shout racial insults as players
- 1:09:37Speaker 1: while they kneel it from up in the stands like
- 1:09:39Speaker 1: they did in the New England Patriots. Absolutely, as that
- 1:09:42Speaker 1: spurred on because our president promotes divisiveness and speaking out
- 1:09:47Speaker 1: a lot. So if you can call the players a
- 1:09:49Speaker 1: son of a it's okay for them to call him
- 1:09:52Speaker 1: in words. Speak on it, Steve Harvey. That's that's right,
- 1:09:58Speaker 1: and that's not how we do things. And America and
- 1:10:00Speaker 1: I have gotten on my knees for play did I'm
- 1:10:03Speaker 1: not supposed to? Sorry, I'm sorry. Oh we're too far?
- 1:10:13Speaker 1: What's too far? All right? Thank you? Chryl under the
- 1:10:16Speaker 1: wood scer O'Dell is coming up next. She will be
- 1:10:21Speaker 1: in the built at forty one after we'll be back.
- 1:10:24Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steve Show, all right, Steve, it's
- 1:10:27Speaker 1: that time, Sister O'Dell is stopping by today. She don't
- 1:10:35Speaker 1: come without the music. There it is, it is my love.
- 1:10:56Speaker 1: M m hey touching. Huh, Lord that did something to me.
- 1:11:24Speaker 1: Goome on is everyone's get on. It's good morning's good
- 1:11:29Speaker 1: morning is good mon's good morning, Hello, junior mornings. So Dale,
- 1:11:34Speaker 1: your voice is deepen in a little bit. I'm working
- 1:11:37Speaker 1: on it. That's good, good, good morning, high boy Tom
- 1:11:43Speaker 1: Kate doing. I just want me and her was out
- 1:11:45Speaker 1: for drinks the other night. You and my mom. Okay,
- 1:11:49Speaker 1: uh huh. She's doing well. She's she's very very very
- 1:11:52Speaker 1: very good stunning. Takes good care of her. Use a
- 1:11:55Speaker 1: nice boy towards your mother, takes her fishing and everything,
- 1:12:00Speaker 1: using a good boy. She told me, your stupid ass
- 1:12:03Speaker 1: almost flipped them over in the boat too little. No no,
- 1:12:06Speaker 1: I didn't almost flip it over the guide, that I know,
- 1:12:10Speaker 1: But she said, you out there on the boat too little.
- 1:12:12Speaker 1: It was a bit small. We shouldn't have been out there.
- 1:12:15Speaker 1: We haven't been out there. Well, let somebody that's taller
- 1:12:17Speaker 1: than then you pick out the boat. Okay, I remember that,
- 1:12:25Speaker 1: my lord, gay good morning calling Hey, sister down the
- 1:12:30Speaker 1: baby little Tasha doing. She's still chilly. Yes, ma'am, she
- 1:12:34Speaker 1: is she's doing. She's the only black on the tea. No,
- 1:12:38Speaker 1: it's other blacks, yes, ma'am. And other minorities, yes, ma'am. Yes,
- 1:12:43Speaker 1: all the kids multnificis yes, yes, multicultural team. Yes. I
- 1:12:50Speaker 1: said that's good. Let your baby be exposed to everyone
- 1:12:55Speaker 1: and learn something about everybody. Don't grow up like d
- 1:12:59Speaker 1: How did you throw up? Guess round blacks? Oh okay,
- 1:13:04Speaker 1: but it was not my you know, it was just
- 1:13:06Speaker 1: you know, segregation. Yes, that's what it was. So we
- 1:13:10Speaker 1: had to stay over here, yes, man, light and morning
- 1:13:13Speaker 1: over here. Wind. It's called we cook good and we
- 1:13:16Speaker 1: had good party. Good morning, Sirley, Well, good morning, sister Odell.
- 1:13:22Speaker 1: I was I was wondering if you were going to
- 1:13:24Speaker 1: speak to me at all today. I was too. Well,
- 1:13:29Speaker 1: I'm glad that you decided to speaks. Well, you know,
- 1:13:32Speaker 1: you're going in and out on me, so I just decided,
- 1:13:35Speaker 1: you know, maybe you don't give it a shot and
- 1:13:37Speaker 1: try to be your free Well, I appreciate maybe you
- 1:13:40Speaker 1: need an elderly woman and talk to give you some guys.
- 1:13:44Speaker 1: So nice that any questions you have for me in
- 1:13:47Speaker 1: lest out today, well, okay, alright, Um, I did have
- 1:13:50Speaker 1: a question for you. I saw Jane Fonda, you know,
- 1:13:54Speaker 1: the actress Jane Fonda. Sure, I know Jane. Yeah, she
- 1:13:57Speaker 1: looks beautiful. She looked beautiful last we got the Emmys.
- 1:14:01Speaker 1: She's seventy nine years old, getting ready to be eighty,
- 1:14:06Speaker 1: and she just looks so beautiful. And I was just wondering,
- 1:14:09Speaker 1: so do you And I was just wondering if you
- 1:14:11Speaker 1: had any beauty secrets for us. Well, Jane, you know,
- 1:14:15Speaker 1: she's been coming to me for beauty tip for a
- 1:14:17Speaker 1: long time, you know called black don't Crack, and she
- 1:14:22Speaker 1: about split over like a walnut. So she came to
- 1:14:28Speaker 1: me and I told her, you know what, what did
- 1:14:30Speaker 1: you tell her? You know the things that we knew
- 1:14:32Speaker 1: back from way back in the day, like, you know,
- 1:14:34Speaker 1: putting my lashes on your skin. It keeps it nice
- 1:14:36Speaker 1: and tight. She didn't want to try that. She gonna
- 1:14:40Speaker 1: put on some naxie. And I told I asked me
- 1:14:42Speaker 1: to drive shut up there in a face star looking
- 1:14:47Speaker 1: like a bad mitten. She looks beautiful on Ellen. She
- 1:14:52Speaker 1: does because she started using that molashes like a tone.
- 1:14:55Speaker 1: So she finally did take your adviantace slaves been doing
- 1:14:58Speaker 1: it for years their my lashes is good on your face? Okay,
- 1:15:02Speaker 1: all right, I didn't know that. Another one is like
- 1:15:05Speaker 1: wash your hand butter, wash your hair and butter. You
- 1:15:10Speaker 1: don't make your butter, so don't think it won't. But
- 1:15:15Speaker 1: I heard a man women, what did you finn to say?
- 1:15:19Speaker 1: What is you finling to say? Food? Who has no hair?
- 1:15:23Speaker 1: But why is you? Why is you jumping in us
- 1:15:26Speaker 1: women's and we're talking about Hey, you ain't got beauty thick,
- 1:15:29Speaker 1: they're gonna clog your hell. But you don't swallow butter
- 1:15:35Speaker 1: food you wash your hair with? This show is a
- 1:15:40Speaker 1: good thing. You're a good son because you're a stupid
- 1:15:45Speaker 1: I am nice, but I'm talking about having me, you
- 1:15:48Speaker 1: and Collie and he jumps in with no hair. You
- 1:15:55Speaker 1: might have where I tried butter. Of you to try, buddy,
- 1:15:57Speaker 1: you might steal you have. I've never heard but I've
- 1:16:04Speaker 1: heard of mayonnaise, eggs, I've heard of you know, things
- 1:16:08Speaker 1: like that, but never butter. But it's eggs and mayonnaise
- 1:16:13Speaker 1: and all that's got mother, Try butter, baby? Why would
- 1:16:17Speaker 1: you not try? Oh? It just seems it would be
- 1:16:20Speaker 1: heavy on your hair and make your hair oily. I'm sorry,
- 1:16:25Speaker 1: but okay, all right, well we'll try. If I'm watching
- 1:16:28Speaker 1: the White Folks commercial phone next thing, you know, you're
- 1:16:34Speaker 1: gonna have some be on five in your hair. Let
- 1:16:37Speaker 1: me know how that work out for you too. What seconds?
- 1:16:41Speaker 1: Why just got him? I'm so sick of these shout breaks.
- 1:16:46Speaker 1: Well I'm not leaving this morning because y'all don't even
- 1:16:49Speaker 1: talk to me. beIN right here when you're when you're
- 1:16:52Speaker 1: kind of out of commercial, i'd be right here. I
- 1:16:54Speaker 1: better whill. Well, okay, all right now I'm asking sharing. Yes, ma'am,
- 1:17:00Speaker 1: we'll make it work. We have things to do on
- 1:17:02Speaker 1: the show. Yes, they went white my whole. Here we
- 1:17:05Speaker 1: go again, little man talking in grown folk conversation. Okay, well,
- 1:17:09Speaker 1: I'll tell you this, sister dell. If you want to
- 1:17:11Speaker 1: hang hang with us, just hang tight. We'll be back.

- 1:17:45Speaker 1: a time. Me and you've ever done a second dem
- 1:17:48Speaker 1: a segment? Yes, Ma, that's what I said. People always
- 1:17:56Speaker 1: in because we're all over. That's right. Okay, Sister. Do
- 1:18:02Speaker 1: you watch Love and Hip Hop Hollywood? Yeah? Okay. R
- 1:18:11Speaker 1: and B singer Keisha Cole, Okay, I like her, oh
- 1:18:15Speaker 1: that little good Yeah, I like her too, Middle gospel.
- 1:18:20Speaker 1: She's doing R and B. She's an R and B singer,
- 1:18:22Speaker 1: so she's trying to do her thing. But here's the deal,
- 1:18:24Speaker 1: Sister Odell and the crew. Keisha Cole is curious about
- 1:18:28Speaker 1: her husband's booby love life. Now, I know that's kind
- 1:18:33Speaker 1: of throwing you into something. Keisha and curious about a
- 1:18:36Speaker 1: husband's booty Booby. His name is Booby. Husband's nickname is Booby.
- 1:18:45Speaker 1: I see the same. What you are you the wife
- 1:18:47Speaker 1: pulling down and take a look at it. Really, if
- 1:18:51Speaker 1: you thanking you the wife, you look at your booty.
- 1:18:55Speaker 1: But his name is booty Booby b bo. Well, here's
- 1:19:02Speaker 1: the deal, Keisha and her husband. He's a former NBA player,
- 1:19:07Speaker 1: Daniel Booby Gibson but they've been separator, Sister o'dal for
- 1:19:12Speaker 1: a very long time, and they are not officially divorced,
- 1:19:16Speaker 1: but anyway, they're seeing other people, and Kiksha Cole has
- 1:19:21Speaker 1: been talking to Booby about his love life and telling
- 1:19:26Speaker 1: him to take things slow. So my question to you,
- 1:19:30Speaker 1: Sister o'dale, I mean, I'm really proud of Keisha Cole
- 1:19:33Speaker 1: for doing this because she seems very mature to be
- 1:19:37Speaker 1: able to have this conversation like that. I couldn't do it.
- 1:19:40Speaker 1: I couldn't be as nice. And what kind of advice
- 1:19:44Speaker 1: can you give people that are listening right now. You
- 1:19:46Speaker 1: can't cut a man off and then tell the man, oh,
- 1:19:53Speaker 1: we'll take things slow. That's what she was his relationship dating,
- 1:19:58Speaker 1: being on the dating seen a man ain't gonna take
- 1:20:01Speaker 1: a slow nowadays. Down here passing not that thing like
- 1:20:04Speaker 1: it's casino chips. Yeah, and he used to He used
- 1:20:10Speaker 1: to live with her because they have a son, so
- 1:20:12Speaker 1: they're trying to do the whole co parenting thing. But
- 1:20:15Speaker 1: I mean, I got to draw the line about us
- 1:20:16Speaker 1: talking about who you're dating and seeing other people. If
- 1:20:20Speaker 1: you're in you might as weear gown get your devote
- 1:20:24Speaker 1: What are we fooling around. Folks, y'all ain't gonna be together,
- 1:20:27Speaker 1: and y'all already seeing each other that once you have
- 1:20:30Speaker 1: been all somewhere and spread your little stuff around. I
- 1:20:32Speaker 1: don't want it no more. I don't wan't use equipment.
- 1:20:37Speaker 1: I bouys everything new. Now I know, Tim, at this conversation,
- 1:20:40Speaker 1: you can't jump in we're talking about new stuff. How
- 1:20:45Speaker 1: about new stuff? What is what is you about there
- 1:20:50Speaker 1: with new built back from the ground doing new But
- 1:20:56Speaker 1: you know I heard what you did though. What did
- 1:20:59Speaker 1: he do? He built the new house, but he used
- 1:21:01Speaker 1: I don't use wood, was turning down and bought that world.
- 1:21:11Speaker 1: I said, it is cheap. You can't what the president said, y'allie,
- 1:21:15Speaker 1: you just cheap some down. You're gonna make me take
- 1:21:20Speaker 1: a knee on you. Will I tell you what. You
- 1:21:24Speaker 1: take a knee on me, you won't get back up.
- 1:21:27Speaker 1: That's for show the chain. Well, let me ask you this, okay,
- 1:21:32Speaker 1: So I you agree with me on the whole Keisha
- 1:21:35Speaker 1: cold situation with her, and I loove Keisha too, but
- 1:21:39Speaker 1: take me just gonna get a divorce and then let
- 1:21:41Speaker 1: the man do what he's gonna do, because he's doing
- 1:21:43Speaker 1: it anyways, right, you ain't got to keep hen need
- 1:21:46Speaker 1: to talk for these man talk my slowing it down
- 1:21:49Speaker 1: for what men is, don't go slow? Boot and the
- 1:21:54Speaker 1: boy named Booty what what what what you wanted? Boobie?
- 1:21:59Speaker 1: Oh b Why do it make a difference? Yes, it does.
- 1:22:04Speaker 1: His nickname is Booby, so you got it. That reminds
- 1:22:09Speaker 1: me a big old dube was due dub Duby. Who
- 1:22:14Speaker 1: was that Dube? That was the Dupe Brothers, Daddy Dube Brothers,
- 1:22:26Speaker 1: that mixed group. Yes, that granddad and name with Dube
- 1:22:32Speaker 1: m And you knew him Granddaddy? Did I know him?
- 1:22:37Speaker 1: His name is really not Doobe. His name is the
- 1:22:42Speaker 1: barrious Crenshaw willing Foot Brothers. And when I got through
- 1:22:50Speaker 1: with him, he was just down to Dube brother. Put
- 1:22:58Speaker 1: you on him. You always do what else you're going
- 1:23:01Speaker 1: on in your reality thing, Collie. Okay, Well let me
- 1:23:05Speaker 1: tell you about being Mary Jane. Now this is a

- 1:23:26Speaker 1: he's on the show. Yeah, girl, I had a crush
- 1:23:29Speaker 1: on him. Did you if I could have got my
- 1:23:33Speaker 1: hands on that black leather coat. Huh what got to
- 1:23:39Speaker 1: show to him something? Well, anyway, let me tell you,
- 1:23:42Speaker 1: a boy being Mary Jane wouldn't have been Richard around
- 1:23:45Speaker 1: tree no more. Would have been Richard round the house,
- 1:23:50Speaker 1: Richard around quickly. Here's the deal. How a mood his
- 1:23:53Speaker 1: black head, he'd have been Richard around Well, he put
- 1:23:57Speaker 1: his wife out. He's decided on the show that he's
- 1:24:00Speaker 1: going to get a divorce with treating liffing wife. And
- 1:24:04Speaker 1: all the women from the church been coming to his house,
- 1:24:06Speaker 1: Sister o'dale dropping off food cakes. Yeah, I know that
- 1:24:12Speaker 1: is low life. But his wife cheated though she did cheat.
- 1:24:20Speaker 1: She did cheating. She asked him to let me get
- 1:24:22Speaker 1: some pou over there. I pod over there to rigid.
- 1:24:29Speaker 1: H Okay, we'll be back. We'll be back. Let's go
- 1:24:39Speaker 1: to break. We'll be back with more of Sister O'Dell
- 1:24:41Speaker 1: and Carla's reality update. You're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:24:47Speaker 1: All right, come on, Carla and Sister O'Dell. So you
- 1:24:50Speaker 1: were saying, sister, we were talking about your tree. Yeah,
- 1:24:55Speaker 1: I didn't know. I didn't know his wife cheated on him. Well,
- 1:24:58Speaker 1: let me tell you this now. His wife cheated on
- 1:25:02Speaker 1: him with Fred Williamson, the Hammer. Oh I can see
- 1:25:06Speaker 1: that now, yeah, hamble girl. Lord you know because me
- 1:25:15Speaker 1: and Hammer's granddaddy used to date. What was the granddaddy's name,
- 1:25:19Speaker 1: Sledge William Good. He was bigger than a hammer too,
- 1:25:28Speaker 1: Lord Sledge coming in and tear that whole room. Lord
- 1:25:37Speaker 1: one long, couldn't take it. Two weeks. I had to
- 1:25:41Speaker 1: cut him loose. I said, boy, you just in't here.
- 1:25:43Speaker 1: You just you two much? Two weeks is all I did.
- 1:25:48Speaker 1: That was it? I said, Yeah, I just gave my
- 1:25:50Speaker 1: pardon gift. We got on which and when our separate
- 1:25:53Speaker 1: ways pardon gi, Yeah, I gave him a church fan
- 1:25:58Speaker 1: in a path because huh, because while you move around
- 1:26:05Speaker 1: on a walker because the slave, sure you want to
- 1:26:08Speaker 1: get personal. Well, I'm just I mean, you have a walker.
- 1:26:13Speaker 1: I'm just wondering if this is something that well, whatever
- 1:26:17Speaker 1: I have, you ain't made enough. Let's just move on.
- 1:26:21Speaker 1: Let's get a fellow. It's getting ugly up in here.
- 1:26:25Speaker 1: Ain't never dated nobody in your family and heard me
- 1:26:27Speaker 1: say that, Hey, shot, people come from other shop. All right?
- 1:26:35Speaker 1: This down there, we were talking about you heard saying
- 1:26:37Speaker 1: good things come in small packages. Small people have small package?
- 1:26:42Speaker 1: Who you get that from? I got it from life experiences.
- 1:26:46Speaker 1: I think the question is where did you get your
- 1:26:48Speaker 1: own from? Called Steve holl it hell y'all, y'all better
- 1:26:54Speaker 1: get them, which once again proves that you ain't in
- 1:26:56Speaker 1: their family if the kids are taller than you. You know,
- 1:27:03Speaker 1: I told you you was adopted. You didn't believe it, though,
- 1:27:05Speaker 1: did you? I'm not adopted? And there's and she saven
- 1:27:14Speaker 1: year old cheerleader. She nina, Yes, ma'am, she's tying over
- 1:27:20Speaker 1: this food. But can I get back to asking you?
- 1:27:26Speaker 1: Go ahead, okay, so this is what I want to know.
- 1:27:29Speaker 1: What would you bring? All right? So now Paul is
- 1:27:33Speaker 1: getting a divorce. That's rich around Tree's character. He's divorced,
- 1:27:36Speaker 1: asking for a divorce for his wife Helen. Now she
- 1:27:38Speaker 1: came over to the house and tried to cook his
- 1:27:40Speaker 1: favorite meal, baked his favorite cake. She tried to get
- 1:27:44Speaker 1: him back, but all the church women coming over, bringing
- 1:27:47Speaker 1: fried chicken, mac and cheese, green refrigerator coming there with
- 1:27:53Speaker 1: a with a sweet potato pie, and what kind of
- 1:27:58Speaker 1: sack I'm in? The shack? Girl? You took the burlap
- 1:28:06Speaker 1: sack and cut a loop in it and some arms
- 1:28:08Speaker 1: out and slipping on, put a nice little belt on
- 1:28:11Speaker 1: with it, walking out with some pumps and a sweep
- 1:28:13Speaker 1: pertato pie he owns and then what what what you're there?
- 1:28:22Speaker 1: And then what happened? Was he now? And here that
- 1:28:25Speaker 1: pie he gonna want to see was in that sack?
- 1:28:31Speaker 1: Was just so deal and off come to beut sweetie,
- 1:28:37Speaker 1: Hey love, Thank you, Mr o'dal, Thank you Carlin. We'll
- 1:28:42Speaker 1: be back right after this. You're listening to Steve Harvey
- 1:28:48Speaker 1: Morning Show, all Right Reunited and it feels so good.
- 1:28:52Speaker 1: That's what d Wade and Lebron James are hoping. After
- 1:28:56Speaker 1: Dwayne Wade into one year deal with Cleveland, it was
- 1:28:59Speaker 1: worth reported two point three million dollars Steve, and really
- 1:29:05Speaker 1: this comes as no surprise as most NBA minds felt
- 1:29:08Speaker 1: that uh felt that was where he would be heading.
- 1:29:13Speaker 1: After Way agreed to a contract buyout with the Chicago
- 1:29:16Speaker 1: Bulls last weekend. The Calves will be without injured all
- 1:29:19Speaker 1: star point guard Isaiah Thomas until at least January January.
- 1:29:27Speaker 1: He he would and did I think he had? Yeah,
- 1:29:31Speaker 1: he already had a hip injury him. Boy, let me
- 1:29:35Speaker 1: tell you so, Isaiah, get help. You got d Wade Now,
- 1:29:41Speaker 1: we got Dereck Roll, we got Lebron Jamee, we got
- 1:29:46Speaker 1: Kevin Loew, we got Jay crowd of we got Tristed exact,
- 1:29:52Speaker 1: and we got that board that hulsle watched that boy
- 1:29:55Speaker 1: tall skinny boy. They're all tall and skinny. Do I
- 1:30:01Speaker 1: thinky'all got angel? Still got Kyle Korver cal Corby. Who's
- 1:30:06Speaker 1: that boy? The tall boy to be hustling? Is that
- 1:30:12Speaker 1: Chloe Kardashian? All right? And they say she's it's baby daddy. Yeah,
- 1:30:18Speaker 1: Chloe is pregnant Kylie, Chloe, Kylie and then Kim. Yeah,
- 1:30:22Speaker 1: it's having a baby through surrogate. Yeah, babies. It's a
- 1:30:28Speaker 1: big family. I got that. But this is not gonna
- 1:30:32Speaker 1: be fair in the East. It's not gonna be fair
- 1:30:36Speaker 1: at all. What you ain't gonna be fair? Cleveland gonna
- 1:30:40Speaker 1: go back to the final. Boston got a good team. Though,
- 1:30:44Speaker 1: Boston got a good team, they're gonna be competitive. Man,
- 1:30:46Speaker 1: when Isaiah Thomas going back to Boston, do you know
- 1:30:49Speaker 1: the chip he gonna have on his showed because he
- 1:30:53Speaker 1: played when his sister passed trade that boy like that,
- 1:30:57Speaker 1: he's gonna he's gonna come with adde. I give him
- 1:31:00Speaker 1: the ball the whole game. I wouldn't even take a
- 1:31:02Speaker 1: shot to find le Bron. That's not going go ahead,
- 1:31:06Speaker 1: little man, because I know how you feel. But Lebron
- 1:31:10Speaker 1: will pass the ball will. I think it's great for basketball.
- 1:31:17Speaker 1: I love the way these brothers is collaborating. That's how
- 1:31:24Speaker 1: Paul George wound up at the Thunder. Carmela wanted to
- 1:31:28Speaker 1: go to the Thunder, but now he's going to. Uh.
- 1:31:34Speaker 1: I'm sorry, he's going to the Thunder, which is gonna
- 1:31:38Speaker 1: be some interesting basketball. Nobody's coming out to west Over
- 1:31:41Speaker 1: Golden Stead. I'm sorry. And as bad as I want
- 1:31:45Speaker 1: the Cavaliers to win, and I will be pulling for
- 1:31:47Speaker 1: him and I will be talking uh Cavalier trash all
- 1:31:50Speaker 1: year long. Golden State is the team to beat, though,
- 1:31:55Speaker 1: because them boys is them boys nasty man. I have
- 1:31:58Speaker 1: to give credit where dude, But the car is gonna
- 1:32:00Speaker 1: be right back in there. Widow notes tell you where.
- 1:32:03Speaker 1: They won't be going to the White House after they
- 1:32:06Speaker 1: win the chance the team right, all right, we gotta
- 1:32:12Speaker 1: go to break. We'll be back. You're listening to the
- 1:32:16Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, here we go, Steve,
- 1:32:19Speaker 1: last break of the morning with just one more thing.
- 1:32:23Speaker 1: We talked sports last break, Let's talk it again this break. Tonight,
- 1:32:26Speaker 1: the Green Bay Packers will take on the Chicago Bears
- 1:32:30Speaker 1: at lambeau Field. Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers is
- 1:32:34Speaker 1: asking fans. He's asking fans now to join the team
- 1:32:38Speaker 1: and locking arms and u nining during their game against
- 1:32:41Speaker 1: the Chicago Bears on Thursday night. Football Packer fans they're
- 1:32:45Speaker 1: gonna do whatever the team tell them. All right, here
- 1:32:49Speaker 1: we go, take a listen to show love and unity,
- 1:32:52Speaker 1: and this week we're gonna ask the fans of joining
- 1:32:56Speaker 1: as well and come together and show people that we
- 1:33:02Speaker 1: can be connected and we can grow together. You know what,
- 1:33:05Speaker 1: that's a good idea because in the divisiveness that's coming
- 1:33:11Speaker 1: from this White House, and it is divisiveness because if
- 1:33:15Speaker 1: you can take the time out to admonish players for
- 1:33:20Speaker 1: doing a peaceful protest, but you will not admonish skinheads
- 1:33:26Speaker 1: and clansmen and Nazis for a violent protests. And got
- 1:33:31Speaker 1: the nerve to say there are good people on both sides.
- 1:33:35Speaker 1: You cannot be in a hate group. You cannot hate
- 1:33:40Speaker 1: a person for being Jewish, gay, black, a minority and
- 1:33:45Speaker 1: immigrant in this country and call yourself a good person.
- 1:33:50Speaker 1: I'm sorry, man, that's just not a good person. And
- 1:33:55Speaker 1: for him to make that statement, but then turn around
- 1:33:58Speaker 1: and tell people stop on the game, stop watching these
- 1:34:01Speaker 1: people play. That's divisiveness to call these men sums of
- 1:34:06Speaker 1: this came out the President's mouth. It's it's it's it's
- 1:34:10Speaker 1: it's ridiculous that this comes from from a man who
- 1:34:13Speaker 1: holds the highest office in the land, one of the
- 1:34:16Speaker 1: most powerful positions. I thought. I thought once he got
- 1:34:21Speaker 1: in there that he might he might live up to
- 1:34:25Speaker 1: the title, or at least try. There's no attempt at
- 1:34:30Speaker 1: living up to the title and the office. And I
- 1:34:32Speaker 1: was talking about this at family feud and a guy
- 1:34:37Speaker 1: yells out, you have to respect the president of the
- 1:34:39Speaker 1: United States, And I said, sir, I do respect the
- 1:34:43Speaker 1: President of the United States. I respect the office of
- 1:34:47Speaker 1: the presidency. But in order for you to get my respect,
- 1:34:52Speaker 1: you have to give me respect just as a man.
- 1:34:57Speaker 1: Let's forget your title. Man to man, you have to
- 1:35:01Speaker 1: respect me. If you disrespect me, I care less about
- 1:35:05Speaker 1: your title. You can't disrespect me and I'm just talking
- 1:35:10Speaker 1: about people in general. You can't disrespect another person. And
- 1:35:14Speaker 1: because you have the title expect respect. If your boss
- 1:35:17Speaker 1: on your job, who is your supervisor, who has the
- 1:35:21Speaker 1: title of an authority figure at your job, but that
- 1:35:25Speaker 1: person doesn't respect you, how much respect do you owe him?
- 1:35:31Speaker 1: I'm just curious. And and what's happening is we just
- 1:35:35Speaker 1: need for the president to act like the other forty four,
- 1:35:41Speaker 1: that's all. And after saying that, I would like to
- 1:35:45Speaker 1: issue a statement that I think a lot of people
- 1:35:47Speaker 1: will agree with. Oh God, I miss Barack Obama. Oh yeah,
- 1:35:58Speaker 1: I feel good. Oh dude, I ms George bush Man,
- 1:36:06Speaker 1: George Senior. I never I didn't even know. I Come on,
- 1:36:21Speaker 1: Lord Jesus God for Calvin Cooby, Grover Cleveland was good president.
- 1:36:30Speaker 1: Oh man, really, this is yeah, really crazy. Yeah, that
- 1:36:35Speaker 1: he has the nerve to call these athletes, these men obs,
- 1:36:39Speaker 1: fire the SLBs. Look, man, that's not it's nothing presidential.
- 1:36:45Speaker 1: And he's just he's refusing to live up to the position.
- 1:36:50Speaker 1: And it's disheartening because those of us who have kids,
- 1:36:53Speaker 1: who are trying to teach our children, we can't even look. Hey, man,
- 1:36:58Speaker 1: do you know how many kids said I want to
- 1:37:02Speaker 1: be Barack Obama. I want to be George Bush. I
- 1:37:06Speaker 1: want to be Ronald Reagan. How many kids said that,
- 1:37:09Speaker 1: you know what? I want to be Trump? Now there
- 1:37:13Speaker 1: are some people who want to be Trump. Who the
- 1:37:15Speaker 1: hell is that? He got a fan base, man, and
- 1:37:19Speaker 1: he knows how to play to it. Listen to me
- 1:37:24Speaker 1: the statement he made. Now, thank god for those NASCAR fans.
- 1:37:30Speaker 1: I said, wait a minute, versus the NFL, which there
- 1:37:35Speaker 1: are no black drivers, hardly on the NASCAR tour. But
- 1:37:42Speaker 1: NASCAR is a great sport and it's got some great
- 1:37:45Speaker 1: people in it that don't practice racist But if you
- 1:37:52Speaker 1: I understand the NASCAR fans standing for the anthem because
- 1:37:55Speaker 1: it ain't nothing happening to him. They kids not getting shot. See,
- 1:38:01Speaker 1: whites don't have to worry about when the police stopped them.
- 1:38:04Speaker 1: What's gonna happen to them. They know they're gonna get
- 1:38:07Speaker 1: a ticket or warning. When you're African American and you
- 1:38:11Speaker 1: get stopped, you you you you're in a tough position man,
- 1:38:16Speaker 1: because you really don't know how this is gonna go.
- 1:38:18Speaker 1: You gotta stay alive at that point, man, you're trying
- 1:38:21Speaker 1: to think of everything. Yeah, every light don't end my
- 1:38:25Speaker 1: every life. So um, we we're in a tough spot.
- 1:38:30Speaker 1: But I say to everybody, this is my position. I
- 1:38:33Speaker 1: keep the God in heaven as the head of my life.
- 1:38:37Speaker 1: It's not the president. And so I'm cool. I'm really,
- 1:38:42Speaker 1: really cool. Gonna say it now. Yes, I have a
- 1:38:48Speaker 1: great beekid. I don't care what for all. Steve Harvey
