- 0:03Speaker 1: and it's based in Atlanta, jaw John Um. Excellent Credit
- 0:07Speaker 1: Builders provides premier credit restoration UM services for thousands of
- 0:12Speaker 1: individuals across the nation, including the Top A List, entertainers, actors, actresses,
- 0:17Speaker 1: celebrities and business professionals. Please welcome to Money Making Conversations
- 0:22Speaker 1: celebrity guru and entrepreneur James Hunt. Thank you, thank you
- 0:29Speaker 1: for being for having me. Thank you. First of all, James,
- 0:32Speaker 1: I'm assuming that you're in Atlanta currently, Yes, I am.
- 0:36Speaker 1: I just got back from Dallas, UM last late last night. Well,
- 0:40Speaker 1: your well, in your world, you know, have have opportunity,
- 0:43Speaker 1: will travel to get to the opportunity that I'm assuming right,
- 0:46Speaker 1: absolutely absolutely. I was out there with the Bishop T. D. Jicks,
- 0:51Speaker 1: my man Dallas, great man to be around and the
- 0:54Speaker 1: motivator himself. So let's talk about let's talk about your brand?
- 0:57Speaker 1: What is your brand? James, Well, my brand is the
- 1:01Speaker 1: celebrity credit Guru UM. And obviously I had to a
- 1:07Speaker 1: ton of uh NBA players and NFL players and music
- 1:11Speaker 1: industry people and actors uh tv um um actors uh,
- 1:19Speaker 1: but also to everyone else. So UM. Long before there.
- 1:23Speaker 1: Wherever our company was doing celebrity clients, we were doing
- 1:27Speaker 1: regular clients, and so I had to do everything that
- 1:31Speaker 1: has to do with credit for all of my clients. Now,
- 1:34Speaker 1: when you say credit, okay, I'm just trying to get
- 1:37Speaker 1: a defined statement of what exactly you do because you
- 1:39Speaker 1: have financial planners, okay, financial advisors, and then you have
- 1:44Speaker 1: then you talk about credit. What am I missing in
- 1:48Speaker 1: this conversation? So our job is to handle every negative
- 1:53Speaker 1: issue in that credit report for each of the clients.
- 1:56Speaker 1: So the clients who have negative issues is whether it
- 2:00Speaker 1: is taxulling, civil judgments, bankruptcies, child support, um, late payments,
- 2:07Speaker 1: hard inquiries. Our job is to assist our clients with
- 2:12Speaker 1: challenging those issues with the credit reporting agencies and or
- 2:16Speaker 1: with the creditors UH to have those accounts and those
- 2:20Speaker 1: negative items removed, and to a system in building their
- 2:23Speaker 1: credit scores up as high as they can go. Cool. Now,
- 2:27Speaker 1: maya the highest it can go as eight hundred and fifty? Correct? Yes,
- 2:31Speaker 1: So the frecal score starts at three and goes all
- 2:34Speaker 1: the way up to exit. Okay, what is a good score?
- 2:37Speaker 1: I know that, but I'm just talking in general just
- 2:40Speaker 1: to be able to promote your brain and be able
- 2:42Speaker 1: to talk about in general to the to my listeners. Well,
- 2:45Speaker 1: the FCO system definds a good score as a credit
- 2:49Speaker 1: score between UH six fifty nine and seven forty nine.
- 2:53Speaker 1: But a seven fifty to an eight fifty is is
- 2:57Speaker 1: UH titled excellent credit. And so the goal is for
- 3:03Speaker 1: every claient is to get them into the excellent credit category. Cool,
- 3:08Speaker 1: I am in the excellent credit creategory. Mr Hunt, just
- 3:10Speaker 1: wanna let you know that. Let you been working hard
- 3:13Speaker 1: since eighteen okay, you know, and because people understand the
- 3:18Speaker 1: value of credit, now let's talk about let's talk before
- 3:22Speaker 1: we get into celebrities, because you know, we know way
- 3:25Speaker 1: more individuals than we know celebrities. And celebrities I know
- 3:28Speaker 1: for you know, they come in a massive amount of money.
- 3:30Speaker 1: Sometimes that's when they really gave credit issues. Because you know,
- 3:33Speaker 1: you can get a big contract, especially at athletes. You know,
- 3:35Speaker 1: you get a major signing bonus. What you do with
- 3:38Speaker 1: that signing bonies You can buy homes and all of
- 3:40Speaker 1: a sudden you gotta pay notes, and all of a
- 3:41Speaker 1: sudden your injury could end that, or you can get
- 3:44Speaker 1: traded in that, or suddenly your talents just fall off,
- 3:47Speaker 1: but you still are living at that lifestyle or five
- 3:50Speaker 1: million dollars year or two million ills year or one
- 3:52Speaker 1: million dollars a year. And we know that that lifestyle
- 3:55Speaker 1: once it stops, the bills don't stop exactly. So so
- 4:01Speaker 1: so let's talk about individual. How does an individual how
- 4:03Speaker 1: do you create an individual relationship and how do they
- 4:05Speaker 1: contact you? So my job is with for all of
- 4:10Speaker 1: my clients, so they don't usually call us, uh and uh,
- 4:14Speaker 1: we'll first stop, We'll tell them how to actually pull
- 4:16Speaker 1: a copy of the credit report. Uh. They contact us
- 4:20Speaker 1: through Celebrity Credit Guru dot com, my website, are dialing
- 4:26Speaker 1: my number or a ton of them call us from
- 4:30Speaker 1: on Instagram. Uh, my instagram is at who is James Runt?
- 4:34Speaker 1: And so when they reach out to us, then we
- 4:37Speaker 1: go over their credit reports. They'll fitness a copy of
- 4:40Speaker 1: the credit reports and we will do a written consultation
- 4:43Speaker 1: based upon what the issues are in the credit report
- 4:45Speaker 1: that need to be removed and give them an estimate,
- 4:49Speaker 1: uh time frame of what can be done in that
- 4:52Speaker 1: time frame, what strategies are necessary to be able to
- 4:57Speaker 1: address the negative issues in the credity part and how
- 5:01Speaker 1: likely it is to be able to get those UH
- 5:04Speaker 1: issues removed the out of the credit report. And then
- 5:07Speaker 1: once we agree to it end, then what the price
- 5:09Speaker 1: is then our job to get it out. The amount
- 5:15Speaker 1: of money will get a certain amount of work done. Yes, yes,
- 5:20Speaker 1: So let's talk about these reports. You have three three
- 5:23Speaker 1: are reporting agencies, right, M So do does does? Does
- 5:29Speaker 1: the report? I have to be cleaned up on all
- 5:30Speaker 1: three or to be cleaned up on one? How does
- 5:32Speaker 1: that work? So if it is only done on one
- 5:36Speaker 1: or two, then the job really isn't done? So um,
- 5:41Speaker 1: it does not make sense to actually, um clean up
- 5:44Speaker 1: a credit that is on Experience and trans Union and
- 5:47Speaker 1: then leave a negative issues in Equifax. So really the
- 5:52Speaker 1: job isn't done until it has been cleaned all the
- 5:55Speaker 1: way across the board. So every negative issue has to
- 5:59Speaker 1: be addressed in all three credit reporting agencies and have
- 6:02Speaker 1: to be successfully disputed and and deleted off of the
- 6:06Speaker 1: credit report, UH in order to say that our job
- 6:09Speaker 1: has been done? Now how does UM you know? I
- 6:14Speaker 1: was just going through some of your talking points. You
- 6:16Speaker 1: one of the talking points with regardless of race and
- 6:18Speaker 1: social status, lack Americans tend to have a law credit
- 6:22Speaker 1: score than all other Americans Um. Why I think it
- 6:28Speaker 1: is because for the most part that African Americans have
- 6:31Speaker 1: not educated themselves and and and I noticed I did
- 6:35Speaker 1: not say that they have not been educated because I
- 6:39Speaker 1: think that in we live in a society these days
- 6:42Speaker 1: where all of the information is available at your fingertips
- 6:46Speaker 1: and you can google. There is no excuse, uh to
- 6:49Speaker 1: say that we don't know. If you wanted to know something,
- 6:53Speaker 1: uh as it relates to your credit or anything else,
- 6:57Speaker 1: you can google it and you can find that information
- 7:00Speaker 1: and online and and be proactive with addressing your issues.
- 7:05Speaker 1: So are people have not been educated or have not
- 7:08Speaker 1: educated themselves to the extent that other races have and
- 7:13Speaker 1: are not as proactive as other races are with addressing
- 7:18Speaker 1: those issues and knowing that anything can be successfully talented
- 7:22Speaker 1: and removed all of the credit report and all of
- 7:25Speaker 1: the keys that are necessary to actually maintain it. So
- 7:29Speaker 1: it's one thing to take it off to address the
- 7:31Speaker 1: negative issues, but if you don't address address the negative
- 7:35Speaker 1: behavior that caused the negative issues, then you'll be right
- 7:39Speaker 1: back in that same situation six months from now. So
- 7:43Speaker 1: it is about educating them and regarding what they can
- 7:47Speaker 1: do and then how they can never make uh. Fall
- 7:50Speaker 1: into those same traps again credit wise, that brought them
- 7:54Speaker 1: into having a negative or bad credit. Well credit, it's
- 8:00Speaker 1: I say, you know, there's so many rules of getting
- 8:04Speaker 1: it right. Uh. You know, as you get young, you
- 8:08Speaker 1: know you're going to college, you can get these credit
- 8:09Speaker 1: cards and then you're not. It's possible with the credit cards.
- 8:12Speaker 1: You have student loans in time to your credit. As
- 8:15Speaker 1: you get older, you know, if you miss payments or
- 8:19Speaker 1: they tell you, you know, a credit can still your
- 8:22Speaker 1: your document for seven years. Here, I'm just a guy,
- 8:28Speaker 1: I'm mid thirties coming into your office, got some bad credit.
- 8:33Speaker 1: Walk me through the steps of trying to save my
- 8:36Speaker 1: life credit? Why James? Yeah, Soto, the do I messed up? James? Okay,
- 8:43Speaker 1: I'm not really making that that kind of money, you
- 8:45Speaker 1: know what I'm saying. You know, but I'm making money.
- 8:47Speaker 1: I I can make enough money to pay for my rent.
- 8:50Speaker 1: Got a car I shouldn't. I shouldn't be in you know,
- 8:55Speaker 1: but but you know I want to get Do I
- 8:58Speaker 1: do a consolidation loan? What do I? So? I would
- 9:03Speaker 1: advise against insolidation. Consolidation um, because consolidation is just really
- 9:09Speaker 1: like the next step before a bankruptcy and a consolidation
- 9:14Speaker 1: will show in your credit report and is a negative
- 9:18Speaker 1: in your credit report because it says to any future
- 9:21Speaker 1: creditors that at some point your credit got so out
- 9:25Speaker 1: of fend that you had to consolidate all of your
- 9:28Speaker 1: debts and you were unable to pay them individually, your
- 9:32Speaker 1: creditors individually, and you had to consolidate all of your debt.
- 9:36Speaker 1: Says that your your that your finances were out of control.
- 9:39Speaker 1: So my advice is if it's a plan, did come
- 9:42Speaker 1: into the office with issues and was considering consolidations, then
- 9:47Speaker 1: we would set him down and go through that credit
- 9:49Speaker 1: report line by line to address every trade line in
- 9:53Speaker 1: there to pinpoint what you're doing wrong and then what
- 9:57Speaker 1: changes can be made and what we what the strategy
- 10:01Speaker 1: is for your particular credit report and your particular issues. Uh,
- 10:06Speaker 1: And they're not cookie cutter type um strategies, and so
- 10:10Speaker 1: we can pointed to to what their issues are and
- 10:13Speaker 1: what they're trying to do credit wise, because often clients
- 10:18Speaker 1: come into the office and their back is up against
- 10:20Speaker 1: the wall because they're trying to close on the house
- 10:24Speaker 1: and issues and they have issues in it and they
- 10:26Speaker 1: can't get the house or they can't get the car
- 10:29Speaker 1: because the dealership just told them that they had these
- 10:32Speaker 1: these things going on. And so now they're back is
- 10:35Speaker 1: up against the wall and they want some instant success
- 10:39Speaker 1: and addressing the issues. And so we will sit them
- 10:43Speaker 1: down and talk about what issues can be done, and
- 10:46Speaker 1: what kind of time frame everything can be done in,
- 10:49Speaker 1: and how we can address it expeditiously to get those
- 10:52Speaker 1: issues out of the credit report, and what and what
- 10:56Speaker 1: is necessary to build it to start building the process. Now,
- 10:59Speaker 1: your your your your credit score or the your level
- 11:02Speaker 1: of credit good or bad, can't determine the interest rate correct,
- 11:06Speaker 1: Oh absolutely, and and it determines it. So it determines
- 11:10Speaker 1: the higher your credit score, the lower your interest rate.
- 11:13Speaker 1: The lower your credit score, the higher your interest rate.
- 11:16Speaker 1: And so that is a major factor in in disputing
- 11:20Speaker 1: the credit is you have to deal with those scores.
- 11:24Speaker 1: And my advice is before you're even trying to actually
- 11:27Speaker 1: obtain new credit for a home, for a car, address
- 11:31Speaker 1: the credit issues and let's get that score up high
- 11:34Speaker 1: enough so that you can get what it is that
- 11:36Speaker 1: you need to get. A fifty is that top score?
- 11:40Speaker 1: I and i I've never gotten eight fifty, you know,
- 11:43Speaker 1: I think that's a pipe dream. But I'm trying, James,
- 11:47Speaker 1: I'm trying. I'm talking to James achievable that Yeah. Excellent
- 11:54Speaker 1: Credit Building is the name of the company. Is based
- 11:56Speaker 1: in the Land of George. When we come back, we're
- 11:57Speaker 1: gonna he gonna share some of the stories where even
- 12:00Speaker 1: because even if your celebrity, if you got bad credit,
- 12:02Speaker 1: guess what, it can stop you from buying what you
- 12:04Speaker 1: want to buy. So credit is the key. Whether you're
- 12:07Speaker 1: successful as an individual or your major athletes or superstar entertainment,
- 12:13Speaker 1: credit comes back to be the key to fulfilling a
- 12:17Speaker 1: lot of your purchase dreams. We were right back with
- 12:19Speaker 1: more my man, James Hunt, celebrity credit girl and entrepreneur. Hi,
- 12:24Speaker 1: this is ra Sean McDonald and you're listening to Money
- 12:26Speaker 1: Making Conversation. I'm the host on the phone. Is a
- 12:30Speaker 1: first time guest on Money Making Conversation. I think he's
- 12:32Speaker 1: the perfect guest to be on Money Making Conversations because
- 12:35Speaker 1: it's talking about credit builders. Um. I know when I
- 12:39Speaker 1: was for some reason, when I was eighteen, I just
- 12:41Speaker 1: had to clear understanding that I had to get my
- 12:42Speaker 1: credit right. Yeah, I had to understand that. It started
- 12:45Speaker 1: out with my little serious credit card and my Montgomery
- 12:48Speaker 1: War credit card, and I finally got my Shell credit card.
- 12:51Speaker 1: So I was rocking and rolling. Back in the day
- 12:54Speaker 1: when you got to see his credit card, that was
- 12:56Speaker 1: almost like getting an American Express. And so when you
- 12:58Speaker 1: got your shall called gas card, that was like you
- 13:02Speaker 1: gotta share card. You were on fire with good credit.
- 13:05Speaker 1: So so the rules have changed, you know. Now I
- 13:08Speaker 1: got my credit cards, and I got my name the
- 13:11Speaker 1: type of cards I have. But your bar rocking and
- 13:13Speaker 1: rolling with the right credit cards right now. But in
- 13:16Speaker 1: the conversation, I want to get into this. This break here, James,
- 13:19Speaker 1: is about you know, you say right here, money can
- 13:22Speaker 1: solve a lot of problems, believe it or not. Without
- 13:25Speaker 1: good credit, there are still many things you cannot accomplish
- 13:29Speaker 1: personally or professionally. There are many millionaires who cannot own
- 13:33Speaker 1: homes a purchase to carve their charge unless they pay
- 13:38Speaker 1: the price due to the debt and bad credit. Talk
- 13:41Speaker 1: to us about that. So it is, uh, what's the
- 13:46Speaker 1: tragedy is is seeing all those different celebrities that are
- 13:50Speaker 1: coming in. And I think that the the um regular
- 13:54Speaker 1: society has no idea that the people that you see
- 13:57Speaker 1: on the big screen, and the people that you see
- 13:59Speaker 1: on the fielding on the courts, and because we know
- 14:03Speaker 1: how much money they make, they have the same kind
- 14:06Speaker 1: of issues that we deal with. And so I'll give
- 14:08Speaker 1: you a couple of people who for examples because they
- 14:11Speaker 1: talk openly about it. So when Tank came to see
- 14:15Speaker 1: me as a as a clan, his school was in
- 14:17Speaker 1: the low four hundreds, and that he had been leasing
- 14:21Speaker 1: homes for over twelve years, and his credit had been
- 14:25Speaker 1: that bad. And so we see him, we see all
- 14:28Speaker 1: of the albums, We see him making all of the
- 14:30Speaker 1: um money and doing all of the other successful things,
- 14:34Speaker 1: but yet he was unable to actually purchase his own home.
- 14:39Speaker 1: And so for years, for over a decade, he had
- 14:43Speaker 1: been actually making other home owners rich by actually paying
- 14:47Speaker 1: their mortgage and and unable to actually get his own.
- 14:51Speaker 1: So we took his credit score short for him all
- 14:55Speaker 1: the way from a h the low four hundreds and
- 14:58Speaker 1: got him all the way up towards seven nine the
- 15:00Speaker 1: seven and he closed his middle school was a second
- 15:03Speaker 1: nineties seven. And he closed on the home that he
- 15:05Speaker 1: got last year, right at this time last year. So
- 15:09Speaker 1: and he posted a video on Instagram and on his
- 15:13Speaker 1: showing all of his clients the new house, and who
- 15:17Speaker 1: was responsible for making it happen for him. And so
- 15:21Speaker 1: that is viceless when it comes to the celebrity clients
- 15:26Speaker 1: and the regular clients that we did with, because we
- 15:28Speaker 1: are assisting them not just simply and cleaning up their credit,
- 15:31Speaker 1: but changing their lives so his children will grow up
- 15:35Speaker 1: in that house. Right, So ownership, ownership, ownership versus lease
- 15:40Speaker 1: versus rent. It's a powerful, powerful stupid let's talk about this.
- 15:45Speaker 1: And when you're talking about cleaning up, because see a
- 15:48Speaker 1: lot of people want everything to happen real quick. There's
- 15:51Speaker 1: a journey to this process. You don't clean up credit overnight,
- 15:54Speaker 1: even though they're running commercials right now. You get there. Look,
- 15:57Speaker 1: my credits dropped. We went out fifteen launch as soon
- 16:00Speaker 1: as I signed on. And so let's talk about their journey.
- 16:04Speaker 1: And that's also sitting down and being honest with a client,
- 16:07Speaker 1: whether the celebrity or individuals, are hey, this is this
- 16:10Speaker 1: is the path we have to go. There's no there's
- 16:12Speaker 1: no cutting corners here. Yeah, So you have to like
- 16:16Speaker 1: manage their expectations and so you don't get them so
- 16:20Speaker 1: excited about boosting their scores up in the hundreds of
- 16:24Speaker 1: points uh within just a matter of days or a
- 16:27Speaker 1: matter of weeks. Um. Now, some people do reap the
- 16:31Speaker 1: benefits of that and have their scores dramatically increased. But
- 16:36Speaker 1: no two credit reports are identical. And it depends upon
- 16:40Speaker 1: the issues and the items that are in that credit
- 16:42Speaker 1: report that will determine how fast uh it takes to
- 16:46Speaker 1: actually get everything out. But I say that disputing credit
- 16:50Speaker 1: has to do with you picking a fight with your creditors.
- 16:53Speaker 1: And you don't just simply pick a fight and throw in,
- 16:56Speaker 1: go in and throw one punch and then jump out
- 16:59Speaker 1: of the ring. Uh. If things don't go the way
- 17:01Speaker 1: that you want them. You have to be committed to
- 17:04Speaker 1: the fight. And so we are committed to the fight
- 17:06Speaker 1: until and unless we get everything off of that credit report.
- 17:11Speaker 1: The fight is not over with until everything has been removed.
- 17:15Speaker 1: You're saying something the word everything off. Explain to me
- 17:20Speaker 1: exactly what you mean when you say everything offer that
- 17:22Speaker 1: credit report? Okay, When you say because you know, if
- 17:25Speaker 1: you if you if you're not paying on a credit
- 17:27Speaker 1: card and has let's say a thousand dollars worth of
- 17:30Speaker 1: debt tied to into your slow paying or you stop paying,
- 17:33Speaker 1: is that what you're saying getting that debt off of
- 17:36Speaker 1: the report and making it a consolutely absolutely so, they
- 17:40Speaker 1: are some real key elements to disputing credit Uh funny
- 17:45Speaker 1: that you would mention a credit card. But for example,
- 17:48Speaker 1: for a credit card, so if a person has an
- 17:50Speaker 1: American Express card and has a thousand dollar balance that
- 17:55Speaker 1: went to charge off, that credit card went to charge
- 17:58Speaker 1: off status and it was the consumer old a thousand
- 18:01Speaker 1: dollars on um and did not pay, then our job
- 18:06Speaker 1: is not pusist simply um remove the late payments or
- 18:09Speaker 1: anything else. The only option to get it out and
- 18:12Speaker 1: to improve that client's credit report is to remove the
- 18:16Speaker 1: entire trade line off the credit report, that entire credit card,
- 18:20Speaker 1: so that if it was an American Express, we're out
- 18:23Speaker 1: to remove the entire account of the American Express so
- 18:27Speaker 1: that their score can go up. If we did not,
- 18:31Speaker 1: and if we were not successful with that, then that
- 18:33Speaker 1: remains a negative in the credit report, and it remains
- 18:37Speaker 1: it stays there, holding the credit score down for seven
- 18:40Speaker 1: years from the last date of activity. But when you
- 18:44Speaker 1: challenge a credit card, a credit card can easily be
- 18:47Speaker 1: removed off of a credit report because the law says
- 18:50Speaker 1: that the creditor has to be able to prove that
- 18:54Speaker 1: the accounts belonged to you and improving it. They have
- 18:57Speaker 1: to produce all of the original documents, original signatures on
- 19:01Speaker 1: the original applications and and the like. There are no
- 19:06Speaker 1: original applications with the credit card application anymore. This age
- 19:10Speaker 1: has electronic applications. And so because there are no aum
- 19:17Speaker 1: original documents and original signatures when you apply for a
- 19:22Speaker 1: credit card, it makes it extremely easy to get off
- 19:25Speaker 1: of a credit report. And I have clients that will
- 19:28Speaker 1: have an American Express for a thousand dollars that went
- 19:31Speaker 1: into charge off status. And I have celebrity clients that
- 19:34Speaker 1: have had American Express black cards that had seven figures
- 19:38Speaker 1: in debt on them, and we were able to remove
- 19:41Speaker 1: them off the exact same way. So it really doesn't
- 19:48Speaker 1: matter what it is, it can come off of the
- 19:51Speaker 1: credit report. Yeah, so I'll name a couple of them,
- 19:57Speaker 1: a con who doesn't have uh the nature with us
- 20:01Speaker 1: talking about it. We moved an American Express black card
- 20:04Speaker 1: off them in the seven figures. So so when you
- 20:09Speaker 1: have clients like that to come in because that's debt,
- 20:12Speaker 1: that's that's amazing debt, and you know, and it's not
- 20:16Speaker 1: something to joke about, because there's a problem here. There's
- 20:19Speaker 1: a problem that the debt was allowed to be created
- 20:22Speaker 1: at the level and sometimes you don't even know what
- 20:25Speaker 1: what's tied to the actual expense. And so so then
- 20:29Speaker 1: you got to go to the company and they reassure
- 20:31Speaker 1: them that that debt's going to be paid. So when
- 20:34Speaker 1: you sit down with a towent period, what is the
- 20:38Speaker 1: number one thing that you tell them who's carrying that
- 20:40Speaker 1: type of debt? What what do they have to stop
- 20:43Speaker 1: doing immediately? James, Well, they need to understand that that
- 20:48Speaker 1: um late payments have consequences. You can lose as much
- 20:53Speaker 1: as uh seventy five points off of your credit score
- 20:56Speaker 1: for just simply one late payment. And so there that
- 21:01Speaker 1: if you're going to eventually get all of the things
- 21:04Speaker 1: that you need to get from your credit, you're going
- 21:06Speaker 1: to have to actually learn how to manage your credit
- 21:10Speaker 1: and then managing it that means that I am paying
- 21:13Speaker 1: everything on time, making all on time payments, and never
- 21:18Speaker 1: uh messing up my credit any longer. And so um
- 21:23Speaker 1: Acon isn't a really good example because he has probably
- 21:28Speaker 1: about sixteen different homes and in his credit report, and
- 21:31Speaker 1: he had a series of late payments that were in them,
- 21:34Speaker 1: and so we had to address all of the late
- 21:36Speaker 1: payments and pull all of the late payments out of
- 21:38Speaker 1: the credit reports and to get off everything else that
- 21:41Speaker 1: was negative. But I am proud to say that in
- 21:44Speaker 1: the last he was my client about two and a
- 21:48Speaker 1: half years ago and he has maintained his score and
- 21:51Speaker 1: has never gone back to actually making anything late, uh,
- 21:55Speaker 1: and any additional late payments or anything negative. And so
- 21:59Speaker 1: I've think that says more than anything else about the
- 22:03Speaker 1: kind of service that you're offering. If you're able to
- 22:06Speaker 1: educate your clients and your plans do not make the
- 22:08Speaker 1: same mistakes that they would make it prior to meet you.
- 22:12Speaker 1: Now that we have a question here that I wanted
- 22:14Speaker 1: to get out there, you said having good credit is
- 22:16Speaker 1: something that you have control over. What it requires financial
- 22:20Speaker 1: education and discipline. I guess you kind of win in
- 22:23Speaker 1: that area a little bit with a con. It really
- 22:25Speaker 1: is about discipline. Is about when you say education, what
- 22:29Speaker 1: do you mean when you say financial education? So understanding
- 22:33Speaker 1: how credit works, and so many of our people are
- 22:37Speaker 1: not like really educated with how credit works and think
- 22:40Speaker 1: that they can actually, well, if I don't make this payment,
- 22:43Speaker 1: and I don't if I skip this one, I can
- 22:45Speaker 1: skip this one and pay only pay this one and
- 22:48Speaker 1: don't are not aware of what the consequences of that is.
- 22:52Speaker 1: And so you have to like sit down and educate
- 22:54Speaker 1: them that this is what's going on in your credit report.
- 22:57Speaker 1: These are the mistakes that you're making, and these mistakes
- 23:01Speaker 1: cannot last. We're gonna help assist you with cleaning up
- 23:04Speaker 1: these mistakes, but we cannot continue this kind of behavior.
- 23:08Speaker 1: We have to break the cycle of what has called
- 23:11Speaker 1: you to get to this point and has called your
- 23:13Speaker 1: credit report to go into the poor credit category or
- 23:17Speaker 1: the fair credit category. And so we're raising your score
- 23:20Speaker 1: and addressing the issues, but we don't want to be
- 23:23Speaker 1: addressing this issue again six months or a year from now.
- 23:26Speaker 1: We want to actually educate you so that you never
- 23:29Speaker 1: find yourself in this position again. I'll tell you what, James,
- 23:33Speaker 1: You're amazing from a standpoint of understand you're changing lives.
- 23:37Speaker 1: We well, you know, bring up the celebrities, but it's
- 23:39Speaker 1: just the individual the thousands of regular people I call
- 23:42Speaker 1: regular people who are just doing far their all week
- 23:44Speaker 1: jobs out there getting their life back and getting them
- 23:47Speaker 1: at a point where they can they're interest rate on
- 23:50Speaker 1: their cars, on their homes, on their are things that
- 23:52Speaker 1: they can purchase the lord and is reasonable because with
- 23:55Speaker 1: a lot of people understands that your goal is not
- 23:57Speaker 1: to pay monthly. Your goal is to pay off because
- 24:01Speaker 1: that monthly payment is what can carre you to endless debt.
- 24:05Speaker 1: And James, before we get let everybody know how they
- 24:07Speaker 1: can get in touch with you because your friend of
- 24:09Speaker 1: the show, and I want to bring you back to
