All the proceeds from the annual walk go to the London Regional Cancer Program (LRCP) for Myeloma Research. The monies are used to fund clinical trials of new myeloma drug therapies which are vitally important for all myeloma patients. For myeloma patients who have run the course of the standard approved treatments, access to a clinical trial offers a lifeline. It also allows access to drugs that otherwise would not be available in Canada and/or the costs would be prohibitive. A
