- 0:00Speaker 1: Today's show is pre recorded. Y'all know what time y'all
- 0:05Speaker 1: don't know. Y'all back a suit, looking back to back down,
- 0:13Speaker 1: giving them just like theming bu bus things and it's
- 0:19Speaker 1: not me true good Steve to mother for st joy.
- 0:58Speaker 1: You gotta use that turn out. You gotta turn to
- 1:41Speaker 1: turn them out. Turn got to turn out the turnout.
- 1:46Speaker 1: Turn the water, the water. Come, come on your back,
- 2:02Speaker 1: I share will Good morning everybody. You. I listened to
- 2:05Speaker 1: the voice. Come on dig me now running only. Steve
- 2:09Speaker 1: Harvey got a radio show. Yeah, man, Steve Harvey got
- 2:13Speaker 1: a radio show. Trying to do something with it too, man.
- 2:16Speaker 1: Uh you know, um, I was having a conversation the
- 2:20Speaker 1: other day with a young person and they were telling
- 2:25Speaker 1: me how they felt that their life was stuck, that
- 2:28Speaker 1: their life was in a rut, that they didn't know
- 2:33Speaker 1: what to do next. And one of the things that
- 2:36Speaker 1: was causing them this sadness or this depression. I mean,
- 2:40Speaker 1: they really really into something right now. One of the
- 2:43Speaker 1: things that was causing it was the fact that they
- 2:47Speaker 1: had made a list of things they wanted to accomplish
- 2:52Speaker 1: by a certain age, and that age they just had
- 2:58Speaker 1: a birthday recently, and they were looking at the list,
- 3:04Speaker 1: and the list hadn't been fulfilled, and because that list
- 3:09Speaker 1: hadn't been fulfilled, they were really really sad about it,
- 3:16Speaker 1: you know. Um one of the things that they had
- 3:19Speaker 1: on the list was marriage, kids, and I don't know
- 3:25Speaker 1: everything else that was on the list, but that was
- 3:27Speaker 1: one of them. And because she had reached a certain
- 3:30Speaker 1: age and she wasn't married, and she didn't have the kids,
- 3:34Speaker 1: and she had just celebrated her birthday, she's gone into
- 3:38Speaker 1: this mode of sadness whereas really really taking a toll
- 3:44Speaker 1: on her and us. As I was learning about her situation,
- 3:51Speaker 1: I was thinking about it, and I just wanted to
- 3:54Speaker 1: share this with you all this morning that one of
- 3:57Speaker 1: the things about making a list about what you want,
- 4:00Speaker 1: which I happen to be a proponent of, I do
- 4:03Speaker 1: it myself. I have people have dream boards, I have
- 4:07Speaker 1: a gold sheet I have. I've been doing it for years.
- 4:10Speaker 1: It's a It's a wonderful way to set goals and
- 4:13Speaker 1: to keep it in front of you as a constant reminder.
- 4:16Speaker 1: And I always go over this goal list every day,
- 4:19Speaker 1: you know. I mean I go of it all the time,
- 4:22Speaker 1: every day. Sometimes I miss a day here and there,
- 4:24Speaker 1: but mostly every day, I pulled my gold sheet out
- 4:28Speaker 1: and I look at it, I read it. So I
- 4:30Speaker 1: was going to these rallies and I was learning about,
- 4:33Speaker 1: you know, people who were successful in how they kept
- 4:36Speaker 1: their mind writing positive. And one of the things I
- 4:38Speaker 1: learned was to make these dream boards, these lists, these
- 4:41Speaker 1: gold sheets. And in making a gold sheet, and you
- 4:46Speaker 1: make the sheet according to what you want, think about
- 4:51Speaker 1: one thing when you made your gold sheet, about what
- 4:53Speaker 1: you want it? Does your goal sheet have on it
- 4:57Speaker 1: what God wants from you? Did you ask in any
- 5:01Speaker 1: of this what was His will in your life? You know? Look, man,
- 5:06Speaker 1: what we want oftentimes is not what He wants for us.
- 5:11Speaker 1: And you know, if you're fighting against what you were
- 5:14Speaker 1: created for, if you're fighting against his will, I mean,
- 5:19Speaker 1: what do you want to happen? See? Don't be so
- 5:22Speaker 1: hard on yourself when you look at your goal sheet
- 5:25Speaker 1: and you look at what you've not become what you
- 5:28Speaker 1: thought was a great idea. Don't be so hard on
- 5:30Speaker 1: yourself because you just made a minded mistake. As do
- 5:33Speaker 1: most people, we oftentimes make our goals and set our
- 5:36Speaker 1: goals up without ever considering what is it that God
- 5:40Speaker 1: wants from us. We keep talking about what we want
- 5:43Speaker 1: without ever finding out and knowing what it is God
- 5:46Speaker 1: wants for us. Well, guess what, man, Maybe you're fighting
- 5:49Speaker 1: against the grain. Maybe you're just a salmon heading upstream.
- 5:53Speaker 1: That's a tough fight upstream. Not all salmons get up
- 5:56Speaker 1: to the spawning grounds, you know. Some of them don't
- 5:58Speaker 1: make it upstream, you know. But all of them, nearly
- 6:01Speaker 1: all of them, except the ones that's killed by prey.
- 6:04Speaker 1: When they're spawned, they go out to the ocean. That's cool,
- 6:06Speaker 1: because you're going because you're going with the grain. You're
- 6:09Speaker 1: going downstream. You're going with the flow. That's but when
- 6:13Speaker 1: it's time to go against the grain, it's tough. And
- 6:16Speaker 1: a lot of us have just been going against the
- 6:18Speaker 1: grain for all of these years. But you know what, listen, man,
- 6:22Speaker 1: I did it. I know a lot of people who
- 6:24Speaker 1: did it. Very few people get it right from the
- 6:28Speaker 1: very beginning. Man, you got to stumble through life sometimes
- 6:32Speaker 1: sometimes you got to fall through life. You gotta make
- 6:34Speaker 1: a lot of mistakes, man, But these mistakes are not failures.
- 6:38Speaker 1: You know, when you fail at something, don't look at
- 6:40Speaker 1: it as a failure. Don't look at yourself as a failure,
- 6:42Speaker 1: because you're thirty and your goals ain't reach that you
- 6:45Speaker 1: had on your list. That was your list. What about
- 6:49Speaker 1: the things that's going right. Stop looking at what you're not,
- 6:53Speaker 1: take some time out and thank God for what you are.
- 6:56Speaker 1: How about the fact that you keep waking up to
- 6:58Speaker 1: be thirty. You know you get depressed about these birthdays.
- 7:01Speaker 1: You really want to throw yourself in some depression. Miss
- 7:03Speaker 1: a birthday, You really got a problem. Now look at
- 7:07Speaker 1: where you are. You keep reaching birthdays. That's a glorious blessing.
- 7:11Speaker 1: You keep waking up. You got your health, You've accomplished something.
- 7:15Speaker 1: Something on your list is done. People spend too much
- 7:18Speaker 1: time on the negative side, and you're just throwing yourself
- 7:21Speaker 1: into depression. So what you want to be married by
- 7:24Speaker 1: a certain age and you want it to have kids? Okay, cool,
- 7:27Speaker 1: You could have done all that with the wrong person.
- 7:30Speaker 1: There's a blessing in not being married to the wrong person.
- 7:33Speaker 1: There's a blessing in not having kids and nobody to
- 7:36Speaker 1: help you raise it. There's a blessing in that man.
- 7:38Speaker 1: You're talking to somebody who can tell it to you.
- 7:40Speaker 1: You can marry the wrong person if you want to.
- 7:43Speaker 1: I'm telling you you're gonna be up in some mess
- 7:45Speaker 1: you can't count on. So instead of being angry because
- 7:49Speaker 1: you're not married, you don't have kids, why don't you
- 7:51Speaker 1: thank God demand Maybe he spared you from some misery here.
- 7:54Speaker 1: Maybe you could have married the wrong person. Maybe you
- 7:57Speaker 1: have kids and you're not really ready to be a
- 7:58Speaker 1: mother or a father. You gotta look at the upside, man,
- 8:02Speaker 1: Quit looking at what you don't have. Take some time
- 8:05Speaker 1: to thank God for what you do have. When you
- 8:07Speaker 1: do that, you make more room for blessings to flow
- 8:10Speaker 1: into your life. I'm not saying how God thinks, because
- 8:13Speaker 1: I really don't know, but I'm telling you, if a
- 8:17Speaker 1: person comes to me and always give a person something
- 8:20Speaker 1: and they never appear grateful, or they never say thank you, please, no,
- 8:24Speaker 1: you can quit coming to me now. I don't know
- 8:28Speaker 1: that's how God works, because I've gone back to him
- 8:31Speaker 1: several times without being grateful of thanking him, and he's
- 8:34Speaker 1: feeling my basket up again. So I really think he's
- 8:38Speaker 1: not like that. But I can't make the call for sure.
- 8:41Speaker 1: But I think at one point in time, me, just
- 8:45Speaker 1: just me talking, i'd be a little ticked off at
- 8:47Speaker 1: somebody who was always taking, taking, taking, and never showing
- 8:51Speaker 1: any gratitude. At one point in time, I would just
- 8:54Speaker 1: stop the flow of the take you know, you just
- 8:57Speaker 1: you can't take no more from me. That's what I would. Now.
- 9:00Speaker 1: I'm not calling it like that because I ain't him,
- 9:03Speaker 1: but I know he's merciful, He's full of goodness and
- 9:06Speaker 1: here and there, and he'll forgive you. And thank God
- 9:09Speaker 1: he does that because he's shown enough done it for me.
- 9:12Speaker 1: But wow, man, take some time out today and be
- 9:14Speaker 1: grateful for what you have. Stop complaining about where you're not,
- 9:17Speaker 1: and think about where you are, and then take it
- 9:20Speaker 1: from there. And then next time you make a list,
- 9:23Speaker 1: make sure on that list you have God's will. What
- 9:26Speaker 1: does he want for you? Does God create give everybody
- 9:29Speaker 1: a gift and a talent? Some of us never apply
- 9:32Speaker 1: gifts and talents. We head off in another direction. Then
- 9:34Speaker 1: you wonder why your life ain't where its supposed to be.
- 9:37Speaker 1: Have you ever thought about what God gifted you to do?
- 9:40Speaker 1: Have you ever thought about doing that? And stip skip
- 9:42Speaker 1: what you want. I wanted to play in the NBA,
- 9:44Speaker 1: but I gotta tell you something. At dribbling and shooting
- 9:47Speaker 1: and running all at one time, throwing me off a
- 9:51Speaker 1: little bit. You know it's so I'm doing what I do.
- 9:54Speaker 1: It's pretty cool. You can look at it that way. Okay,
- 9:57Speaker 1: you're listening show, ladies and gentlemen. What you're about to
- 10:04Speaker 1: hear is unique. What you are about to hear is

- 10:19Speaker 1: radio old lighter than it can really wanta go? You
- 10:23Speaker 1: got it? Got it up down now because if you don't,

- 11:42Speaker 1: Oh that sounder at all. Just had a good time
- 11:47Speaker 1: sitting outside watch your TV by myself. Nothing vegan mount vegans.
- 11:54Speaker 1: I don't know why. The number one reason I can't
- 11:57Speaker 1: be a vegan's cause a bobbecute. Right, this was one
- 12:02Speaker 1: of the great I don't eat what all the time? Barbecue?
- 12:05Speaker 1: You don't eat that in the summer. Oh what's all that?
- 12:09Speaker 1: Where you get that from? She's so bushy? Barbec ain't
- 12:12Speaker 1: season them, you know, bobbycque Whenever it's not raining, that's
- 12:19Speaker 1: when you barbecue. Whenever it's not raining, barbecue the snow outside.
- 12:27Speaker 1: It can be slow on the ground and you're out
- 12:29Speaker 1: on the grill barbecuing. Well, yes, what you know what?
- 12:36Speaker 1: Sometimes surely you just don't fit into the show barbecue
- 12:43Speaker 1: in the card. They always go with you cue us
- 13:00Speaker 1: been barbecues all the time, requing you're more than different.
- 13:16Speaker 1: W p O. What is that what's that? What look
- 13:34Speaker 1: coming up at thirty two after the hour. Anyway, we'll
- 13:38Speaker 1: talk me. We'll talk to the CLO and ask the
- 13:41Speaker 1: CLO right after this. You're listening to the show, all right, guys,
- 13:48Speaker 1: time for ask the CLO. This one is from Anonymous
- 13:52Speaker 1: and Indiana. Anonymous writes, I'm engaged to a beautiful woman
- 13:57Speaker 1: that I've known for most of my life. This will
- 13:59Speaker 1: be a second marriage for the both of us, and
- 14:01Speaker 1: we reconnected after we both got divorced. I'm fifty seven,
- 14:05Speaker 1: she's fifty six, and she's old fashioned. She wants to
- 14:09Speaker 1: wait until we are married to have sex, and I
- 14:11Speaker 1: don't want to make that mistake. I haven't even seen
- 14:14Speaker 1: her in her underwear. I would hate to marry a
- 14:17Speaker 1: woman that isn't on my level sexually. Should I press
- 14:20Speaker 1: the issue? Oh? Man, full court press. We got to see.
- 14:26Speaker 1: But then one thing about it, man, women control the situation.
- 14:31Speaker 1: If they don't let you, you can't do nothing. So
- 14:34Speaker 1: you know that's it. I mean, you can press the issue,
- 14:38Speaker 1: but if that's her wish, bro, it's nothing you can
- 14:41Speaker 1: do about it. And let me tell you something. Pressing
- 14:44Speaker 1: the issue and forcing the issues two different things. True
- 14:48Speaker 1: we're talking about. You can have a conversation about it
- 14:51Speaker 1: if you choose to. You know, you can try to
- 14:54Speaker 1: use conversation. But that's all you can do. That's all
- 15:00Speaker 1: you can do. A matter of fact, No honor her wishes.
- 15:05Speaker 1: Just go somewhere in honor her damn wishes. And you
- 15:08Speaker 1: don't want it, just go somewhere else. Plenty of women
- 15:10Speaker 1: out here ain't got that rule. They don't even do
- 15:12Speaker 1: the ninety day rule. Sometime, find you somebody else. Leave
- 15:15Speaker 1: that good little lady alone. She's they're engaged. Though they're engaged.
- 15:20Speaker 1: Somebody asked somebody to marry, you know, engage your beautiful woman.
- 15:26Speaker 1: Can I get a picture or something? Can I least
- 15:28Speaker 1: get a picture? Can I see? Can he ask somebody
- 15:31Speaker 1: she's been with? Can he ask me like her ex husband? Yeah?
- 15:40Speaker 1: We need a referral and we need something. Yeah, y
- 15:47Speaker 1: not a reference. Moving on, LaToya and Baltimore says, I'm
- 15:51Speaker 1: twenty seven and my boyfriend's twenty five, and he's so inconsiderate.
- 15:55Speaker 1: He drives me crazy. It drives me crazy. We just
- 15:59Speaker 1: got a place together, and his mother came over to
- 16:01Speaker 1: see her rental house, and she brought my boyfriend's ex
- 16:04Speaker 1: girlfriend with her. He welcomed them in and I went
- 16:07Speaker 1: to my bedroom after I barely spoke to them. Even
- 16:10Speaker 1: though his ex is married now, I don't think it's
- 16:13Speaker 1: appropriate for him to allow her into our home. He
- 16:16Speaker 1: called me immature and rude. Was I being rude? Hell? No?
- 16:21Speaker 1: And I think it's mama out of line. Yeah, don't brain.
- 16:24Speaker 1: This dude's ex over the house with his current woman
- 16:27Speaker 1: living there. His mama rude, he's stupid? Yeah, dog, immature?
- 16:33Speaker 1: What to her? Immature? Man with your mama? I was disrespectful.
- 16:40Speaker 1: She can't say anything that's disrespectful on so many levels.
- 16:45Speaker 1: How would your mama like it? Right if somebody bought
- 16:49Speaker 1: her husband's ex over to her house. Yeah, it doesn't
- 16:53Speaker 1: matter if she's married now, so what. I don't give
- 16:57Speaker 1: a damn what she is? Yeah? Room on every level? Man?
- 17:04Speaker 1: All right? Um? Joanne and Tennessee says, I think my
- 17:08Speaker 1: husband is interested in a lady at our church. I
- 17:11Speaker 1: had choir practice Saturday and he's on the cleanup committee,
- 17:14Speaker 1: so we rode together. When I got out of practice,
- 17:18Speaker 1: he was nowhere to be found. I went back into
- 17:21Speaker 1: the church to look for him, and I called his
- 17:23Speaker 1: cell phone. He answered it and said he was outside.
- 17:26Speaker 1: He didn't know. I could see him getting out of
- 17:28Speaker 1: a car with a woman that is fairly new at church.
- 17:30Speaker 1: I told him what I saw with my own eyes,
- 17:33Speaker 1: and he denied it. Should I have a talk with
- 17:36Speaker 1: this woman? I don't know what you're talking with the
- 17:41Speaker 1: woman for she saw you, dude. And then secondly he said,
- 17:49Speaker 1: he didn't get out the car. You're proud of it.
- 17:53Speaker 1: There is a boy, boy. You got to stick with that.
- 17:59Speaker 1: As you know, it wasn't me, he lying on he
- 18:07Speaker 1: on the clean up committee. He getting out the car
- 18:09Speaker 1: with a woman that's knew at the church. I don't
- 18:15Speaker 1: know what y'all talking about. But should you talk to
- 18:21Speaker 1: the woman? Hell? No, it's you. The woman ain't took
- 18:26Speaker 1: no viole. You're married to your husband. That's your whole
- 18:28Speaker 1: conversations with him. But if he gonna stick with his story,
- 18:32Speaker 1: see what you see, what you know as your husband
- 18:34Speaker 1: fit stay with that story, and you fitl to go
- 18:38Speaker 1: to her to get another story. That's what it is.
- 18:42Speaker 1: But his commitment to that story is so resolute, and
- 18:46Speaker 1: she got to go somewhere else to get this information.
- 18:49Speaker 1: That's all I knew you were proud of him. See
- 18:58Speaker 1: me get that another car. That's what he's saying. That's
- 19:04Speaker 1: what he's saying to her. Yeah, all right, Moving on,
- 19:09Speaker 1: Shara and Delaware says, my seventy two year old grandmother
- 19:14Speaker 1: has a bunch of younger friends that hang out at
- 19:16Speaker 1: her house. She and my granddad used to have house
- 19:18Speaker 1: parties a lot when my granddad was alive, but now
- 19:22Speaker 1: she does not know all of the people that hang
- 19:24Speaker 1: out there. Her house smelled like weed recently, and she
- 19:28Speaker 1: said the smell was from the night before. I will
- 19:31Speaker 1: be very upset as she is smoking weed all of
- 19:33Speaker 1: a sudden. How can I get my grandmother to be
- 19:36Speaker 1: a bit more cautious. Well, you got to slow down
- 19:40Speaker 1: now because your grandma might help black homa. Oh you
- 19:45Speaker 1: know yeah, and the new friends could be her plug.
- 19:53Speaker 1: You don't know how this is going, so you got
- 19:56Speaker 1: to let this thing happen. You know, this CB didn't
- 20:00Speaker 1: went everywhere this this whole She downed at the clinic.
- 20:03Speaker 1: She probably all these new friends she had probably met
- 20:06Speaker 1: down at the shopping center, you know, you know, classic
- 20:10Speaker 1: where the new you know, Green Roots company opened up.
- 20:15Speaker 1: You know they always have all you know, you know,
- 20:18Speaker 1: green leaf. You know, true Earth. They always named their
- 20:24Speaker 1: cannabis stores like it's that's a true Earth herbal God's
- 20:31Speaker 1: juice lower and behold, you know blessed, blessed is he?
- 20:42Speaker 1: You know they even trying to they be trying to
- 20:46Speaker 1: make their names and they cannabis still sound real heavily
- 20:49Speaker 1: y either I walk. Thank you for coming up. Next,
- 20:55Speaker 1: Church complaints with Jeff jam Right after this, you're listening
- 21:02Speaker 1: to the Stave Harvey Morning Show coming up at the
- 21:05Speaker 1: top of the hour, and trending news singer Kelly Price
- 21:09Speaker 1: says she's not missing. Also, the jury will continue deliberations
- 21:13Speaker 1: in the r. Kelly trial. And yes, we are all
- 21:16Speaker 1: confused as to why Robert's lawyer compared him to Martin
- 21:20Speaker 1: Luther King Junior. We'll talk about all of these stories. Yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 21:24Speaker 1: I know, I know. We'll talk about all of these
- 21:26Speaker 1: stories at the top of the hour. But right now
- 21:28Speaker 1: it is Monday. That means it's time for church complaints
- 21:31Speaker 1: with Reverend Motown and Deacon deaf Jam. Ye do walk, yes, yes,
- 21:39Speaker 1: in the Valley Shadow deal. That's right, that's right, No, evel,
- 21:51Speaker 1: She'll life you come on here now, Rod comfort me.
- 22:01Speaker 1: You ask I only do. I don't do all the verses.
- 22:09Speaker 1: My sermons is like a pop quiz fill in the blake. Alright, alright,
- 22:16Speaker 1: that's how I tea. That way we can have our
- 22:19Speaker 1: sermon in Bible study all at the same day. That
- 22:23Speaker 1: way we ain't got to come in here. Oh or
- 22:27Speaker 1: here's one oh ah know the mother on this earth
- 22:38Speaker 1: loan we missed out on and my father. See that's
- 22:45Speaker 1: that's why it's Bobo study. See if you feel that
- 22:47Speaker 1: the end, that means you know the scripture and then
- 22:51Speaker 1: we got to come in here Monday night and have
- 22:53Speaker 1: Bible stay. So all my sermons it is like pop quiz.
- 23:00Speaker 1: That's funny. And what we gotta be in here seven
- 23:05Speaker 1: days a week? Y'all don't give seven days a week.
- 23:09Speaker 1: So what are we in here for? You're preaching, man,
- 23:11Speaker 1: I think preaching, learning and giving all to be on
- 23:14Speaker 1: the same day. Let church say man, amen, amen? All right?
- 23:23Speaker 1: I said amen. H Now you're feeling into blake, get
- 23:28Speaker 1: up half that Bible study and the sermon at the
- 23:32Speaker 1: same time. Come on, all right, pass it. Let's get
- 23:36Speaker 1: down to it here. Sister Nicki Mina says she wants
- 23:40Speaker 1: you to lay hands on her cousin's friends testacles and
- 23:43Speaker 1: pray them down. Do you have a power with that?
- 23:47Speaker 1: Can you do it? I got a little tell you
- 23:49Speaker 1: something right now. He might as well take him and
- 23:56Speaker 1: his testacle down to the river and dip them hisself.
- 24:05Speaker 1: Because we don't lay hands on things of that nature.
- 24:12Speaker 1: We're not that type of ministry. We don't do hands
- 24:15Speaker 1: on healing. Heal. We pray for you, but we we'll
- 24:21Speaker 1: put you on the list, but we're not doing hands
- 24:25Speaker 1: on due to COVID and or social distancing, we don't
- 24:31Speaker 1: do that in the church anymore. Yeah, we'll pray for
- 24:35Speaker 1: you from over to zoom. All right, I let naked
- 24:39Speaker 1: manage now as her cousin's friend. Alrighty. There is a
- 24:43Speaker 1: conversation pass about the gospel versus Shirley sees a versus
- 24:48Speaker 1: your Linda Adams. But Sharley don't want to do it.
- 24:52Speaker 1: If you're Linda wear them sexy dresses, she'd be wearing
- 24:56Speaker 1: pastor why can't us the Adams were to keep the
- 24:58Speaker 1: confusion down. I don't know where you're going with this one.
- 25:02Speaker 1: Dcon How you thought this would be a good one
- 25:07Speaker 1: to cover? Oh, sister you Lando, It's like a little
- 25:15Speaker 1: sister to me. That's right then, Pastor Shirley Caesar is
- 25:23Speaker 1: my aunt. I can't get involved in this on the
- 25:29Speaker 1: no shape off fashion asking you to move on before
- 25:35Speaker 1: you get you in trouble. Us off the hell. Alright, alright, alright,
- 25:43Speaker 1: pastor eye. Little Darius Darius Montgomery wanted to help his
- 25:49Speaker 1: mother because he thought she was working. In the wee
- 25:52Speaker 1: hours of the night. He heard Barbara clippers coming from
- 25:56Speaker 1: his mother's room. At three am. He walked in and
- 26:00Speaker 1: help is, mama, those were not Barba clippers. That bar here.
- 26:05Speaker 1: The bar is traumatized and need counseling. When you talk
- 26:10Speaker 1: to the boy, I think you know what was What
- 26:14Speaker 1: little Darius need to do is quit walking and grown
- 26:18Speaker 1: for wound. What he needed to do because ain't nobody
- 26:21Speaker 1: cutn't head three o'clock in the mars. Anybody getting a
- 26:24Speaker 1: hair cutting, then go right on, lay down, you get
- 26:29Speaker 1: a half cut, you get your hair cut. The gold
- 26:31Speaker 1: place you get should cut that evening before you go out,
- 26:35Speaker 1: or you get to cut that morning. So you walk
- 26:36Speaker 1: around all day to mall r Now, little Darius now
- 26:41Speaker 1: has ruined one of the better lessons in life, which
- 26:46Speaker 1: is what at that matter. Don't go and grown for rooms.
- 26:49Speaker 1: Oh you said that at the beginning. If you hear
- 26:52Speaker 1: Nord's coming from your mama room, you can ask about
- 26:55Speaker 1: it tomorrow. But Jobby, damn, don't open that door line.
- 27:01Speaker 1: But you fin to get educated on the spot. All
- 27:06Speaker 1: right past the eye. We have a new ministry that
- 27:08Speaker 1: has just started. The Edible Ministry has just started. The
- 27:13Speaker 1: cookies are selling real well, and they're moving up to
- 27:16Speaker 1: gumbya gumby bass too. So they're asking that you come
- 27:20Speaker 1: by and bless the ministry. I will bake sale. It's
- 27:27Speaker 1: supposed to be baked goods. Well, they supposed to be good.
- 27:34Speaker 1: They may be deacon, but we can't advertise that on
- 27:38Speaker 1: the show. Let's just sell it and get the profits
- 27:42Speaker 1: and move on. We discussed this from the video. Anybody
- 27:47Speaker 1: ain't quiet? Profit? You want to quiet? Why you want
- 27:50Speaker 1: to insinuate it? Our church is dealing what I'm not
- 27:58Speaker 1: gonna be a part of this. I've all really going
- 28:00Speaker 1: to prison. Really, I can't do no more. Damn telling
- 28:07Speaker 1: you had that much background. But okay, let's keep moving.
- 28:10Speaker 1: I'm sorry, I didn't mean the brain lord has to
- 28:12Speaker 1: save you from something. Yeah, okay, brother, Trent Diller bought
- 28:18Speaker 1: a tiny house. Not sure why heat out, having a spade,
- 28:22Speaker 1: get together, what's gonna work. We had ten people over
- 28:25Speaker 1: that the place fame, and the people in the tiny
- 28:28Speaker 1: house neighborhood complained. So the police came and told the
- 28:32Speaker 1: house down to the station and it's gonna take fifteen
- 28:35Speaker 1: hundred to get his tiny house back out. He need
- 28:38Speaker 1: help from the church. Well it wouldn't have been so naisy,
- 28:43Speaker 1: but every time it was somebody's turn to play, three
- 28:47Speaker 1: people had to come out the house and it was
- 28:52Speaker 1: outside the house. Holiday. You reneed right right right on
- 28:57Speaker 1: the books Boston. You know what I'm saying, things like that,
- 29:00Speaker 1: You could only have three people in the time of
- 29:04Speaker 1: house at a time, and a lot of cheating was
- 29:06Speaker 1: going on. Of course, when one person would come in
- 29:09Speaker 1: and only three was in there, so somebody didn't see
- 29:11Speaker 1: the car that was played. It took a long time.
- 29:13Speaker 1: Ago about coming up at the time of the hour,
- 29:19Speaker 1: we'll have some entertainment and national news right after this.
- 29:23Speaker 1: You're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show and trending entertainment news.
- 29:30Speaker 1: Singer Kelly Price is not missing and she's safe. That's
- 29:34Speaker 1: at least according to her attorney, Monica Ewing, who was
- 29:39Speaker 1: with Kelly and continuing to recover from COVID at an
- 29:43Speaker 1: undisclosed location. Kelly reached out to copp County Police to
- 29:48Speaker 1: notify law enforcement that Kelly is accounted for, and Georgia
- 29:53Speaker 1: officials say Kelly Price has been listed as a missing
- 29:56Speaker 1: person following last weekend's welfare check conducted at her her home. However,
- 30:01Speaker 1: it appears that Kelly Price herself confirmed on her Instagram
- 30:04Speaker 1: page that she is not missing, and her caption leads
- 30:09Speaker 1: us to believe that she's doing all right but still
- 30:11Speaker 1: battling COVID. So there you have it on Instagram from
- 30:15Speaker 1: good Kelly's mouth saying she's okay, I'm not missing. Damn it,
- 30:21Speaker 1: I'm stopped calling me. I'm here. Yeah, damn everywhere though,
- 30:26Speaker 1: yeah it was everywhere. But she posted good, good, good good.
- 30:34Speaker 1: Well that's good. It is that that she's recovering, you know.
- 30:39Speaker 1: And other entertainment news. R Kelly's fate is now in
- 30:42Speaker 1: a jury's hands after weeks of lurd testimony in a
- 30:45Speaker 1: sexual misconduct trial. Meanwhile, we're all trying to figure out
- 30:49Speaker 1: why did why did? R. Kelly's defense attorney Devereaux Chanck
- 30:54Speaker 1: say that Robert shouldn't be convicted because he embodies to
- 30:59Speaker 1: get this guy's he embodies the same values as the
- 31:02Speaker 1: late doctor Martin Luther King Junior. Do I need to
- 31:06Speaker 1: read that again? You put it out there, You just
- 31:09Speaker 1: throw it out there. Whatever happen to say anything, You
- 31:13Speaker 1: just say anything. Did he said it right? Can it
- 31:20Speaker 1: quoted doctor Kings? I've been to the mountaintop speech when
- 31:23Speaker 1: compared Kelly to doctor King. Somewhere I read of the
- 31:28Speaker 1: I read of the freedom speech, he said. Somewhere I
- 31:31Speaker 1: read of the freedom of assembly. Kenni went on to
- 31:35Speaker 1: say that, like doctor King, R. Kelly wants the Constitution
- 31:39Speaker 1: to be upheld so the government can be true to
- 31:42Speaker 1: what's on paper. The panel of seven men and five
- 31:45Speaker 1: women are due back in court today to continue their
- 31:48Speaker 1: deliberations on racketeering and sex trafficking charges against R. Kelly.
- 31:53Speaker 1: He do know that he sealed his fate with that statement. Okay?
- 31:58Speaker 1: His defense attorney say, dog, you know there's people in
- 32:02Speaker 1: deliberation room. Did you hear what he said? Robert is
- 32:07Speaker 1: just like Kelly. I wish it is everybody on the
- 32:13Speaker 1: same page for me. Can we get this alfway. I'm
- 32:15Speaker 1: through deliberating. It's it's like, you know, man, it's really
- 32:20Speaker 1: a sad story. Because our Kelly Man was he was
- 32:27Speaker 1: musical genius. We can say that he cool, you can
- 32:31Speaker 1: say it cool. I'm all that. I was actually going
- 32:33Speaker 1: somewhere else with it, actually, because all what you're saying
- 32:37Speaker 1: is true, musical genius and everything. But here's a part
- 32:42Speaker 1: that but he's sick. You were cleared before, right, you
- 32:49Speaker 1: were cleared. You had an opportunity to get yourself right.
- 32:55Speaker 1: You had an opportunity to stay free. You had an opportunity.
- 33:00Speaker 1: See you didn't get the bullet. See God give you
- 33:03Speaker 1: a warning, man, He don't just take you away. Everybody
- 33:06Speaker 1: gets a warning when you start doing wrong. And if
- 33:11Speaker 1: you ignore the warning shots and you keep going and
- 33:16Speaker 1: you make a conscious decision to ignore all of the
- 33:19Speaker 1: warning shot. He went to court before and he was acquitted,
- 33:24Speaker 1: came out with that big, huge cigar, and now brother,
- 33:29Speaker 1: you right back in there. You can see that right there. Man.
- 33:34Speaker 1: It's when you think, first of all, you're really sick.
- 33:40Speaker 1: You think you above the law. Yeah, you untouchable. I'm
- 33:45Speaker 1: doing what I want to do, and you don't care
- 33:48Speaker 1: who you harm with it. That's the man. So dude,
- 33:54Speaker 1: so now dog, Now you're sitting up in him. Man,
- 33:57Speaker 1: you didn't try to get out cause of COVID. You
- 34:00Speaker 1: tried to get out. Of course you have anxiety. Everybody
- 34:04Speaker 1: in jail got anxiety. Naw, you want to get out
- 34:11Speaker 1: of court. You just like Martin Luther King, and you
- 34:14Speaker 1: won't do government to uphold the constitution. Hey, bro, ain't
- 34:18Speaker 1: that what we're out here fighting for? Voting rights? Fault
- 34:21Speaker 1: ain't what we out here fighting so we can stop
- 34:23Speaker 1: getting killed by the police. See what you your lawyer
- 34:27Speaker 1: with this constitutional talk? When do you think they're gonna
- 34:31Speaker 1: apply and how do you think they're gonna apply to you?
- 34:34Speaker 1: But tell me the similarities of him and Martin. Though
- 34:38Speaker 1: the unmitigated gall of him to say that they both
- 34:45Speaker 1: went to jail, King got out. You'll never get out
- 34:48Speaker 1: of jail. You never all the people you should He
- 34:52Speaker 1: shouldn't be out of jail. No justice for the victims.
- 34:56Speaker 1: But you can't do what you did at the level
- 34:59Speaker 1: and ext then that you did it to the sheer
- 35:02Speaker 1: number of people. You did it too. I mean, broad,
- 35:06Speaker 1: this wasn't an isolated incident. I didn't know how she was.
- 35:10Speaker 1: That's your immo. Yeah, you go get these young girls, man,
- 35:15Speaker 1: so you can manipulate them, control them. It's too many
- 35:20Speaker 1: stories out there, man, Too many women came forward. Bro,
- 35:23Speaker 1: they got a special on you. Have you seen it?
- 35:27Speaker 1: Have seen special under the guys of helping their music career?
- 35:31Speaker 1: You know all of that young women that is unparents?
- 35:38Speaker 1: So sad? Did he? Then he wrote that song? What
- 35:43Speaker 1: was that song? I apologize had all of us? Yeah,
- 35:52Speaker 1: and ain't nothing but the number he wrote that to them? Yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 35:59Speaker 1: all right, yeah, oh God. Coming up in twenty minutes
- 36:03Speaker 1: after the hour, we're gonna look into the mind of
- 36:06Speaker 1: Janson he Brown. Right after this you're listening show, all right, Steve,
- 36:13Speaker 1: Time to introduce your boy, ladies and gentlemen, Ja Brown.
- 36:17Speaker 1: It is the Atlanta Comedy Theater, twenty second, twenty third
- 36:22Speaker 1: in Atlanta, Georgia. Get your tickets. If it don't sell out,
- 36:27Speaker 1: it just don't sell out. Nothing new about it. I'm
- 36:30Speaker 1: gonna be that anyway. Wow, Tommy, Tommy, and no listen, listen.
- 36:42Speaker 1: The reason I said that because I can't make a threat.
- 36:45Speaker 1: What I'm gonna do, I can't anyway. Let me do
- 36:48Speaker 1: this right, here here we go. All right. First of all,
- 36:51Speaker 1: everybody know, I don't know too much about sports. I
- 36:54Speaker 1: just started watching. I'm trying to learn something. So I'm
- 36:57Speaker 1: as all the guys because I know Steve played, Junior played,
- 37:01Speaker 1: and Tommy played. So these are some spots questions that
- 37:05Speaker 1: I can't figure it out. Here we go at the
- 37:08Speaker 1: beginning of a football game. At the beginning, for eight
- 37:11Speaker 1: guys from one team and eight guys from another team,
- 37:15Speaker 1: plus the referees, the coach, what them guys that dressed
- 37:18Speaker 1: like they're working at foot lockers. They all go to
- 37:20Speaker 1: the middle of the field and they flip a coin. Now,
- 37:23Speaker 1: my question is does it take that many people to
- 37:26Speaker 1: flip a quarter? That's all I'm asking. Does it take
- 37:29Speaker 1: that many damn people to flip my damn quarter? It does, Okay, yes,
- 37:35Speaker 1: because you need many. That was a witnesses. You gotta
- 37:40Speaker 1: have witnesses. Okay. The guy just came down back to
- 37:44Speaker 1: the other people. He can't. Yeah, it's head that no, no,
- 37:48Speaker 1: let me see okay, all right, okay, all right. I
- 37:54Speaker 1: just found out that a quarterback can be on a
- 37:57Speaker 1: team for four years as a backup quarterback and never
- 38:02Speaker 1: play in a damn game. Is that true? Is that true?
- 38:06Speaker 1: You could behind? So my question is my question is
- 38:11Speaker 1: could you be hired at McDonald's to do fries and
- 38:16Speaker 1: for four years you sit on your ass and you
- 38:19Speaker 1: don't do fries, but you still get paid? Is that
- 38:22Speaker 1: how that work? That still position? Okay, all right, you
- 38:29Speaker 1: can try just fine. Is another one. If a player
- 38:34Speaker 1: does a good job, he gets a pad on the butt.
- 38:36Speaker 1: If a player does a bad job, he gets a
- 38:39Speaker 1: pad on the butt. Are those two pats on the butts?
- 38:43Speaker 1: Are they with different intensities? Are they the same? Is
- 38:47Speaker 1: it the same? Damn pat? Mean it's again? Okay, yeah,
- 38:53Speaker 1: If you do good, it's a regular padd If you
- 38:55Speaker 1: don't do good, feel you could feel one of the fingers.
- 39:03Speaker 1: Really say that again, Oh he doesn't mean really do
- 39:10Speaker 1: something good. It's just a regular pack. If you do
- 39:13Speaker 1: something bad, you can see your one of the fingers.
- 39:20Speaker 1: All Right, we gotta go, and you know not to
- 39:23Speaker 1: do that. No more? Right, okay, thank you so much.
- 39:25Speaker 1: All right, thank you Jay. Coming up at thirty four
- 39:28Speaker 1: minutes after the hour, we'll talk about retirement right after this.
- 39:33Speaker 1: You're listening to show, all right, guys, So the Ageless
- 39:40Speaker 1: and beautiful Tom Brady is already putting up MVP numbers
- 39:44Speaker 1: at the right. Excuse me, yes, do not use the
- 39:51Speaker 1: word ageless with him, because I have a company I'm
- 39:54Speaker 1: working on and I don't want tom Brady get no credit.
- 39:57Speaker 1: Not go ahead for ye Oh, you didn't have a
- 40:00Speaker 1: problem with beautiful, Okay, all right, The beautiful Tom Brady
- 40:08Speaker 1: is all ready putting up MVP numbers at the ripe
- 40:11Speaker 1: old age of forty four, and Hall of Famer Joe
- 40:14Speaker 1: Montana has joined the growing chorus of fans who think
- 40:17Speaker 1: he'll be able to play until he's fifty. Speaking with
- 40:20Speaker 1: the NFL's Good Morning Football, Uh, Montana said, as long
- 40:24Speaker 1: as he keeps playing the way he is, I don't
- 40:27Speaker 1: see any reason why he can't. Okay. So here's today's question, guys,
- 40:32Speaker 1: and it's how often do you think about retirement? How
- 40:36Speaker 1: do you plan for it? Do you enjoy what you're
- 40:39Speaker 1: doing so much that you think you're going to go
- 40:41Speaker 1: the distance and never retire, Never go retire, never retire? Nope, Wow,
- 40:50Speaker 1: I'm not returning at all. Oh, junior, I'm forty three.
- 40:56Speaker 1: I can't retire. I gotta keep going. I don't appreciate
- 41:03Speaker 1: the question. I know I got to keep working. None
- 41:06Speaker 1: of my benefiting so far, I got at least twenty
- 41:12Speaker 1: something for years. Yeah. I think the beauty of what
- 41:17Speaker 1: we do allows us to do this longer than you know,
- 41:19Speaker 1: seeing people doing rufing. Yeah, yeah, yeah, y'all that's great.
- 41:23Speaker 1: Soon as I hit that magical number, y'all answer, never
- 41:27Speaker 1: hear from me again. And that's a magical number for income,
- 41:31Speaker 1: not eight. No, no, no, if I if I get
- 41:34Speaker 1: that money next week, God, you say though that you would,
- 41:44Speaker 1: I would stand to stand up, I mean forever, because well,
- 41:48Speaker 1: if I get that magical number, I'm gonna do one
- 41:51Speaker 1: most specially. Okay, so that's still working man. Yeah, no, no,
- 41:56Speaker 1: that ain't working. Oh no, I'm just gonna feel it myself.
- 42:03Speaker 1: I ain't. I ain't even gonna charge you get in.
- 42:05Speaker 1: I'm gonna just pack up a stadium. And the name
- 42:10Speaker 1: of the special was He said, what the name of
- 42:18Speaker 1: the specialist is gonna be? He said, what I'm talking about, dog,
- 42:25Speaker 1: I'm talking about when I get that money, I'm telling
- 42:27Speaker 1: you it's gonna be displayed. You think Dave Chapel says
- 42:31Speaker 1: some stuff, you just hold on. I'm gonna d chapel
- 42:38Speaker 1: blink and say what did he say? Will there be
- 42:46Speaker 1: cursing in the special? If you get that, I'm gonna
- 42:50Speaker 1: try to find somewhere to put regular words. My problem
- 42:57Speaker 1: is I'm trying to find some words I'll be using that.
- 43:01Speaker 1: Can you know? Make it all makes sense still if
- 43:06Speaker 1: we could follow along. But in the meantime, Yeah, so okay,
- 43:12Speaker 1: so you guys for retirement, like what I'm doing. I'm good.
- 43:17Speaker 1: Look what I'm Yeah, this is great. You couldn't have that.
- 43:24Speaker 1: You couldn't I get that four hundred million dollars lottery
- 43:28Speaker 1: I win that. Yeah, there's gonna be some changes right here.
- 43:33Speaker 1: You just like because it's a magical number. I'm coming
- 43:37Speaker 1: in if I went four hundred million, I'm coming in.
- 43:40Speaker 1: You coming to work, just coming to world, y'all. I'm
- 43:42Speaker 1: not I'm not gonna be here for the rest of
- 43:44Speaker 1: the week, but I will be in that day though,
- 43:46Speaker 1: I will be here, not be here for the rest
- 43:52Speaker 1: of the week. What's different? It's my question? What different
- 43:58Speaker 1: about that? That really hurt? Right? No retirement, baby, let's ride. No,
- 44:11Speaker 1: not retire. I just want to stay healthy enough to ride.
- 44:14Speaker 1: Let's ride. Yeah, write it out all right? Guys coming
- 44:18Speaker 1: up next to the nephew with today's prank phone call.
- 44:21Speaker 1: Right after this, you're listening to show coming up at
- 44:27Speaker 1: the top of the hour, right about four minutes after.
- 44:29Speaker 1: It's today's Strawberry letter. The subject is she gives a
- 44:33Speaker 1: great performance. We'll get into that find out what that's
- 44:37Speaker 1: all about in just a little bit, But right now,
- 44:39Speaker 1: the nephew is here with today's prank phone call. What
- 44:43Speaker 1: you got for us? Nav new land lord, new laying lord.
- 44:50Speaker 1: I'm harmless, I know it, dude, I know a dude.
- 44:52Speaker 1: Let's go kire. Hello. Hello, I'm trying to reach a
- 44:57Speaker 1: m Marcus. Yeah, don't see who's this? My name is Jason.
- 45:01Speaker 1: Got you doing all right? What's happening? Listen? Um? I'm
- 45:04Speaker 1: trying to figure out if you guys are gonna be
- 45:06Speaker 1: out of the house by Sunday. Um, not the house?

- 52:13Speaker 1: know it's a possibility that it might happen. Yeah, that's black. Anticipate.
- 52:20Speaker 1: The only question on the table is you wanted to
- 52:23Speaker 1: die for this moment? Because I am yeah, that's yeah, Yeah,
- 52:32Speaker 1: I'm ready. But when they ask you, do you want
- 52:34Speaker 1: to take it there? Because I'm ready to take it there.

- 54:05Speaker 1: for you here. It is the Strawberry LETTA subject she
- 54:09Speaker 1: gives a great performance. Dear Stephen Shirley, I've been dating
- 54:13Speaker 1: a very attractive woman with a perfect body and beautiful
- 54:17Speaker 1: brown skin. I met her at a gym and she
- 54:20Speaker 1: asked me out, which I loved because she is not
- 54:24Speaker 1: afraid to go after something if she wants it. We
- 54:27Speaker 1: have been dating for a little over a month, and
- 54:30Speaker 1: we finally had sex over the Labor Day holiday. I
- 54:33Speaker 1: wasn't expecting the performance I got. She's very athletic and
- 54:38Speaker 1: it was hard to keep up with her in the bedroom.
- 54:41Speaker 1: I was given all kinds of instructions and she was
- 54:44Speaker 1: very dominant. I tried to get into it, and each
- 54:47Speaker 1: time I got so distracted by her demands I couldn't perform.
- 54:52Speaker 1: I was intimidated. Finally, after it was over, we went
- 54:57Speaker 1: on to my patio and had a glass of wine.
- 55:00Speaker 1: Started analyzing the encounter and saying what could have been
- 55:03Speaker 1: better and what we needed to work on. I felt
- 55:07Speaker 1: like I was back in college playing football and going
- 55:10Speaker 1: over the game footage and critiquing it. I found myself
- 55:14Speaker 1: apologizing to her and telling her I'd do better next time.
- 55:18Speaker 1: A few days later, we had a few drinks and
- 55:21Speaker 1: she started to get me in the mood. She said
- 55:24Speaker 1: she'd do all of the work since I was tipsy,
- 55:27Speaker 1: I thought she was too, but she wasn't. I got scared.
- 55:31Speaker 1: I'm a forty two year old grown man, and I've
- 55:34Speaker 1: never been afraid of any woman in the bedroom, but
- 55:37Speaker 1: I doubted myself with her. I remember just lying there,
- 55:40Speaker 1: and it's like my spirit left my body from the
- 55:43Speaker 1: thing she was doing to me. It was so unbelievable
- 55:47Speaker 1: that I'm tempted to break up with her, but I'm
- 55:50Speaker 1: also intrigued. I planned to be on my quote unquote
- 55:55Speaker 1: a game next time, but I have no idea what
- 55:58Speaker 1: she'll do. She's ten years younger than I am, so
- 56:01Speaker 1: I can't continue to be afraid of her. Would I
- 56:04Speaker 1: be a woos if I asked her to take it easy?
- 56:07Speaker 1: Help me? Whoa she got you? Huh? Ten years younger
- 56:15Speaker 1: thirty two? Well, I mean this might be the first
- 56:21Speaker 1: letter of this kind, Steve, that we've ever gotten from
- 56:23Speaker 1: a man that says he's afraid or intimidated by a
- 56:27Speaker 1: woman's sexual prowess. I think you should just admit it, sir.
- 56:35Speaker 1: You've met your match and beyond and this younger woman
- 56:39Speaker 1: and you can't take it. I mean, there is a
- 56:41Speaker 1: lot going on here, though, but it's like you said,
- 56:44Speaker 1: you love a woman who's not afraid to go after
- 56:46Speaker 1: what she want. Well, she did that, and she's still
- 56:50Speaker 1: way too much for you. She's actually more of a
- 56:52Speaker 1: drill sergeant, it sounds like from your letter and your description,
- 56:56Speaker 1: than a sexual partner right now, and your mind is blown,
- 57:00Speaker 1: and so you can't give her up. I think you
- 57:02Speaker 1: should take your big ego out of it so you
- 57:04Speaker 1: can ask her to take you a little slower. It's
- 57:07Speaker 1: okay to do that, you know, even if she's younger
- 57:10Speaker 1: and more skilled. It's okay. It's all right. You say
- 57:15Speaker 1: you're intrigued, So why don't you just listen to her suggestions,
- 57:18Speaker 1: you know, when you all afterwards and she tells you
- 57:20Speaker 1: what she needs, listen to her, really listen to her
- 57:24Speaker 1: and allow yourself to you know, just have great mind
- 57:27Speaker 1: blowing sex from here on out. You shouldn't be scarred,
- 57:30Speaker 1: don't be scared. Just get on into it. You'll be
- 57:33Speaker 1: all right. You'll be all right, Steve. Yeah, well that
- 57:36Speaker 1: ain't high this goal? Oh is here? Let me straighten
- 57:40Speaker 1: you out what letter you was reading? That ain't the situation?
- 57:44Speaker 1: And it just take a mind blowing sick, mind blowing sick.
- 57:50Speaker 1: We got some issues in deal right here. See, Shirley,
- 57:54Speaker 1: you couldn't view this letter because you're not a man
- 57:58Speaker 1: wrote this letter. You can't know what he going through.
- 58:04Speaker 1: Let me walk you through what happened, Dear Stephen, Shirley.
- 58:09Speaker 1: I've been dating a very attractive woman with the perfect
- 58:12Speaker 1: body and beautiful brown skin. Met her at the JIM.
- 58:16Speaker 1: She asked me out, which I loved because she's not
- 58:20Speaker 1: afraid to go after something she won't. We've been dating
- 58:23Speaker 1: for a little over a month now, and we finally
- 58:25Speaker 1: had sex over Labor Day holiday. I wouldn't expect to
- 58:29Speaker 1: performance our guy. She's very athletic. It was hard to
- 58:35Speaker 1: keep up with her in the bedroom. I was giving
- 58:38Speaker 1: all kinds of instructions and she was very dominant. Now
- 58:42Speaker 1: hold on, brot me let me take you back up here.
- 58:46Speaker 1: Now you just said I loved it because she is
- 58:52Speaker 1: not afraid to go after something she wants. Now you
- 58:57Speaker 1: down in the letter time how she was very down.
- 59:00Speaker 1: I'm in it. I was giving all kinds of instructions.
- 59:03Speaker 1: I tried to get into it each time, but I
- 59:05Speaker 1: got so distracted by her demands. I couldn't perform. Oh on,
- 59:12Speaker 1: punk out now wow yeah yeah yeah yeah. See his
- 59:18Speaker 1: own Now, now you all up in there. She a
- 59:21Speaker 1: little fine thing up at the gym, ten years younger
- 59:24Speaker 1: than you, and all this hell. Yeah, Now, after it
- 59:28Speaker 1: was over and you got distracted by the demand, y'all
- 59:31Speaker 1: went out on the paddi or have some wine. Then
- 59:34Speaker 1: she started analyzing the encounter, saying that we could have
- 59:38Speaker 1: done it better, what we needed to work on it,
- 59:40Speaker 1: and all this in I felt like I was back
- 59:44Speaker 1: in college. Oh, I could see the visual now, so
- 59:46Speaker 1: you just you just had to put your backpack on
- 59:49Speaker 1: and get your composition notebook out. You was in school.
- 59:55Speaker 1: Tatri was up in there and wore you out. Well,
- 59:57Speaker 1: I know how to fix all this for you, you boy. Yeah,
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: now you're trying to talk about you felt like he
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: was back playing football, going over the game footage and
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: critiquing it. Now, he put that in there to let
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: us know that he was a former athlete in college
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: and he played football, so he didn't he didn't want
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: us to think he was just a punk. That's when
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: he put that in that fault. But he get pump though.
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: We'll have part two of your response coming up. At
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: twenty three minutes after the hour subject. She gives a
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: great performance. We'll get back into it right after this.
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: You're listening, all right, Come on, Steve, let's recap today's
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: strawberry letters. She gives a great performance. She gives a
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: great performance, and what the letter she should say is
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: she outperformed me and I don't know what to do.
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: That's what the damn subject ought to be. She gives
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: a great performance. But your ass didn't that for damn show?
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: Are you mad? Yeah? No, I got something for him.
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: So now he all up in there. He loved the
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: girl because she came up to it, asked him out
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: because she like He like a woman that go for
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: what she wants. Then when they got to had sex,
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: found out she was passing out all kinds of instructions
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: and she was very dominant. You just said, you like
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: a woman that go after what she wants. NW you
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: she in here, she all, that's everywhere. So now she
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: all up in your bedroom with this here. I tried
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: to get into it, but every time I was so
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: distracted by her demands I couldn't perform. I was intimidated.
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: After it was over, we went out on the paddio
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: on here some wine, and she started telling me analyzing
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: the encounter saying what could have been better? And we
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: needed to work on And I felt like I was
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: back in college, Like I had my backpack on him,
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: my little black and white composition note book, and she
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: was just giving me lessons and everything. I wouldn't know
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: what to do, but I knew not what I was doing,
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: because you know, I felt like I was back in
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: college playing football and going over the game footage and
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: critiquing it. Boy, boy, don't trying. Don't try to blow
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: yourself up now to hard. Yeah, now you're trying to
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: act like you something. Now, oh man, wasn't wear all
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: that football playing that back in that bedroom though, well
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: that game footage where you know how to do all that,
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: but you ran up in the thundercat that she didn't
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: she didn't know, wearing your ass out and you don't
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: climb up in the set. Are you just in bed
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: with a little mountain lion, just bombcat, just wearing your
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: ass out, scratching you and passing out of instructures. You
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: don't know what to do, and these are seas instructions
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: that's getting on your nerves. You know, faster, faster, hold
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: up now, any faster that's gonna be over. You know
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: you got slow down with somebody. Damn instruction. Now you
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: know harder. I don't throw my damn back out now,
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: ain't no harder. I ain't got through my whole damn
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: back out in here now more. Ain't no more, damn it.
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: This ain't see all these instructions. What she was doing
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: was giving you instructions for you. Ain't got faster, harder,
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: and more. That's all instructures you can get. I've been here, boy,
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: that's what we find to get into. I've been here,
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: so let me help you out. A few days later,
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: we had some drinks and she started to give me
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: the mood. She said she'd do all the work. I
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: thought it was. I thought I thought she was too,
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: but she wasn't. Then here, when he finally admitted it,
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: I got scared. I'm a forty two year old grown man,
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: and I've never been afraid of any woman in the bedroom,
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: but I doubted myself with her. I remember just lying
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: there like my spirit left my body. She was stuff
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: she was doing to me, and it was so damn unbelievable.
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: I'm tempted to break up with her, but I'm intrigued.
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: I planned to be on my A game next time. Boy,
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: you ain't got no damn a game. You ain't got
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: no a game. And you ain't she got your A
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: game out and these two three times. But but next time,
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: I have no idea what should do? See here that
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: fear come back in And she's ten years younger than me.
- 1:04:02Speaker 1: That ain't no excuse. So I can't continue to be
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: afraid of her. Would I be a whoose if I
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: asked her to take it on me? Boy? Let me
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: tell you something. You're a woosh if you don't follow
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: them down instructions next year. Boy, you are a whoos
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: because you can't keep up. You are a worse cause
- 1:04:22Speaker 1: you're scared. You're a worst cause she dominating. You are
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: a woosh cause she didn't had a bunch of demands.
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: You can't meet see you you're not and then and
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: then you're sitting up in here, and then and then
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: worn't a little part in that what time on? She
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: was talking to me so crazy that I remember lying
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: there so unbelieved, or timber ain't got this team. Where's
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: the part where he said he was apologizing? Oh that
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: go up, go up. I found myself apologizing to her
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: and she said, analyzing the account of saying to get
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: them better. I feel like I've been playing football going in.
- 1:04:56Speaker 1: I found myself apologizing her until her I do better
- 1:04:59Speaker 1: next time. You was a wish when you started apologizing.
- 1:05:03Speaker 1: You was a wish when you said you do better.
- 1:05:07Speaker 1: But see, boy, with all that said, you hadn't been
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: off moting. You can chew, that's all it is. But
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: now here comes the big brother advice, Uncle Steve. Oh,
- 1:05:19Speaker 1: I've been there though. Oh, I've been right where you at.
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: Whoa And it's frightening. What do they be doing? Oh?
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: They do everything. I've been there before. I didn't. I didn't.
- 1:05:31Speaker 1: I didn't. I didn't have been laying over in the
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: corner sucking my thumb before it was just two damn much.
- 1:05:37Speaker 1: I didn't. I didn't have a woman walking to the
- 1:05:39Speaker 1: bed and I'm sitting up pulling the covers up under
- 1:05:42Speaker 1: my chee shaking while she comes towards the bed. I
- 1:05:45Speaker 1: got the covers up under my check because if she
- 1:05:48Speaker 1: come again, I wouldn't been there. Boy, So what you
- 1:05:51Speaker 1: have to do? Here's the way you do this. Here
- 1:05:54Speaker 1: you got to wear hard down with folk play. Okay,
- 1:06:00Speaker 1: listen to me. You gotta take some of that energy,
- 1:06:03Speaker 1: all that fitness. You got to get it wow down
- 1:06:06Speaker 1: in folk play you got you gotta tell her, like,
- 1:06:08Speaker 1: climb up on that shelf in the closet so I
- 1:06:11Speaker 1: can see it better, see it, take effort, army, crawl
- 1:06:16Speaker 1: around the bed three times towards me. Then climb up
- 1:06:20Speaker 1: in the bed. You got to zap some of her energy. Hey, baby,
- 1:06:23Speaker 1: a baby before we do this tonight. You know, I
- 1:06:26Speaker 1: like doing it downstairs on that couch. Go downstairs and
- 1:06:30Speaker 1: bring that couch up hill to get some of this energy.

- 1:06:52Speaker 1: on demand too. Coming up at forty six minutes after
- 1:06:55Speaker 1: be Our Junior has a brand new poem. Yes, right
- 1:06:58Speaker 1: after this, you're listening. Well, guys, it's been a minute.
- 1:07:05Speaker 1: A resident poet Junior is here with the brand new
- 1:07:08Speaker 1: poem Junior, take it away. Yeah, surely you know um
- 1:07:13Speaker 1: injustice anywhere I must speak on it. Uh, you know,
- 1:07:17Speaker 1: I know the Emmies was a week ago, but this
- 1:07:19Speaker 1: has been on my mind and it's troubling me. So
- 1:07:22Speaker 1: I had to write a poem about it. And the
- 1:07:24Speaker 1: title of the poem is called them Emmy's. Oh the Emmys,
- 1:07:29Speaker 1: the Emmys, Yeah, because I saw some injustice. So here
- 1:07:32Speaker 1: it is. How come more black people didn't win an Emmy.
- 1:07:38Speaker 1: Don't try to ignore me, because I know you should.
- 1:07:40Speaker 1: They'll hear me. I don't want to start, no mass,
- 1:07:43Speaker 1: I don't want to fight, but hardly nobody black warn anything.
- 1:07:47Speaker 1: Y'all know that ain't right. Nothing for Reddy to love
- 1:07:51Speaker 1: or the assisted living. So white people the only winners
- 1:07:57Speaker 1: to awards that you are given. Now, Cedric did a
- 1:08:01Speaker 1: nice job, if you ask me, he did rocket so
- 1:08:04Speaker 1: said it. Why didn't you take four or five of them?
- 1:08:06Speaker 1: Damn innis and put it in your soup pocket? You
- 1:08:08Speaker 1: saw how deep your pocket wood. So in closing, let
- 1:08:13Speaker 1: me say that the people in charge other Emmas, don't
- 1:08:15Speaker 1: call it that next year, just call the show demis
- 1:08:19Speaker 1: because that seemed like they're the only ones that win
- 1:08:22Speaker 1: the end. You're right, nobody get up that say I
- 1:08:31Speaker 1: don't even know what the people went? Why did all
- 1:08:34Speaker 1: of them? What did that mean? Go? Because it looks
- 1:08:36Speaker 1: good to have them there. Well, they gave y'all all
- 1:08:40Speaker 1: them awards last year. Yeah, yeah, that was your year.
- 1:08:47Speaker 1: That was COVID, that was George Floyd. You gotta watch
- 1:08:51Speaker 1: how they work. Yeah, they do. They always I know them, man,
- 1:08:57Speaker 1: they always do it as George social justice. Let's get
- 1:09:00Speaker 1: some let's get some more black women in here. Let's
- 1:09:02Speaker 1: get some more black people. Let's put some more people
- 1:09:04Speaker 1: of coloring here first. Okay, you got that out to wait,
- 1:09:07Speaker 1: now let's get on back what we do it every
- 1:09:10Speaker 1: other year. Just no, no, man, it's only when the
- 1:09:14Speaker 1: spotlight is shined on them when they're gonna get when
- 1:09:18Speaker 1: they when they gonna get when it's gonna look like
- 1:09:20Speaker 1: a return on investment. Oh wow, they reacted naturally to this,
- 1:09:26Speaker 1: but no, they have to be forced. They put set
- 1:09:28Speaker 1: up there, so that was supposed to appease us, right
- 1:09:31Speaker 1: because they knew they weren't gonna get y'all now, so
- 1:09:35Speaker 1: we just do the entertain You never forget that time, Emmy,
- 1:09:42Speaker 1: you were nominated, but you locked feelings. You're faisty, man.
- 1:09:49Speaker 1: That's why I don't going on more. I don't tell
- 1:09:51Speaker 1: you right now. I ain't doing what I do. I
- 1:09:53Speaker 1: well out posted, but this has been on Junior. Mind
- 1:09:56Speaker 1: whole week, Yeah, because I've been to the at the
- 1:10:00Speaker 1: daytime people. Mind that longful week to that sitting there
- 1:10:08Speaker 1: dressed up for nothing. All right, guys, we're moving on.

- 1:11:29Speaker 1: another one. Pippot pick right here and let the Falcons
- 1:11:32Speaker 1: over the New York Giants seventeen to fourteen. About ten
- 1:11:36Speaker 1: fancons here another should give me a game of the week.
- 1:11:40Speaker 1: The Bengals beat the Steelers twenty four to ten. I

- 1:12:54Speaker 1: Pipper can't. I can't even lie you killed that. I don't.

- 1:13:17Speaker 1: that's a hard when man becomes Dallas is playing real good.
- 1:13:21Speaker 1: And I love the Dallas Cowboy players. I just don't
- 1:13:25Speaker 1: like the team. I like the owner, Jenny Jones. I
- 1:13:28Speaker 1: met him one time. He's straight pimp and the count
- 1:13:31Speaker 1: players love. Yeah, I just don't love they call him
- 1:13:35Speaker 1: a man because team. That's when I've hated them every
- 1:13:38Speaker 1: since day was in the North Division with the Browns
- 1:13:41Speaker 1: back in the sixties. You understand, So this person, this person,
- 1:13:44Speaker 1: and this is personal. And then my frat brothers the
- 1:13:47Speaker 1: quarterback for Philly. But I loved that because I met
- 1:13:52Speaker 1: him at the NFL Honors. You know, we was both standing.

- 1:15:11Speaker 1: gorillas at the Bronx Zoo. Yeah, yeah, oh my god, yes, yeah.
- 1:15:19Speaker 1: Traumatized several times I watched it. Yeah, great technique though, yeah,
- 1:15:29Speaker 1: I mean there was no boy player nothing. Okay, yeah
- 1:15:34Speaker 1: they were They were engaged, these two gorillas in an
- 1:15:37Speaker 1: oral sexual act, and it was on display for everyone
- 1:15:41Speaker 1: to see. Two gorillas shocked onlookers. They got really down
- 1:15:46Speaker 1: and dirty. Uh really Ronch parents quickly turned their children
- 1:15:50Speaker 1: away from the sex scene while others were gawking and
- 1:15:53Speaker 1: looking on in shock. Some baby about that window, and
- 1:15:59Speaker 1: the gorillas was paying about you. If you watched it
- 1:16:04Speaker 1: as many times as I have, there's another gorilla that
- 1:16:07Speaker 1: was coming over there to properly visit her, and the
- 1:16:09Speaker 1: other gorillas like, man, damn him, let's just do this
- 1:16:12Speaker 1: while he right here, he just walks away in shame.
- 1:16:17Speaker 1: Let's right, walk your little punk ass away. And it's
- 1:16:20Speaker 1: just I saw all that because I watched it so
- 1:16:23Speaker 1: many times. I was like that, I watched you really well,
- 1:16:29Speaker 1: you know what, guys, I really looked at it. Here's
- 1:16:32Speaker 1: what the animal experts say, this behavior is completely normal. Yeah,
- 1:16:37Speaker 1: that's what they say. Humans and gorillas have ninety eight
- 1:16:40Speaker 1: percent of the same DNA, and thus it's not so
- 1:16:43Speaker 1: shocking that they do this. All right, we'll have more
- 1:16:46Speaker 1: of the Steve Harvey Morning Show coming up at thirty
- 1:16:48Speaker 1: three minutes after the hour. Right after this, you're listening
- 1:16:52Speaker 1: to the Steven Show. All right, guys, time for ask
- 1:16:56Speaker 1: to Cello. This one is from Anonymous and Indiana. Anonymous writes,
- 1:17:01Speaker 1: I'm engaged to a beautiful woman that I've known for
- 1:17:05Speaker 1: most of my life. This will be a second marriage
- 1:17:08Speaker 1: for the both of us, and we reconnected after we
- 1:17:10Speaker 1: both got divorced. I'm fifty seven, she's fifty six, and
- 1:17:13Speaker 1: she's old fashioned. She wants to wait until we are
- 1:17:17Speaker 1: married to have sex, and I don't want to make
- 1:17:19Speaker 1: that mistake. I haven't even seen her in her underwear.
- 1:17:23Speaker 1: I would hate to marry a woman that isn't on
- 1:17:25Speaker 1: my level sexually. Should I press the issue? Oh? Full
- 1:17:30Speaker 1: court press. But then one thing about it, man, women
- 1:17:35Speaker 1: control the situation. If they don't let you, you can't
- 1:17:39Speaker 1: do nothing. So you know that's it. I mean, you
- 1:17:44Speaker 1: can press the issue, but if that's her wish, bro,
- 1:17:47Speaker 1: it's nothing you can do about it. And let me
- 1:17:49Speaker 1: tell you something. Pressing the issue and forcing the issues
- 1:17:53Speaker 1: two different things. True, we're talking about you can have
- 1:17:57Speaker 1: a conversation about it if you choose to. You know,
- 1:18:00Speaker 1: you can try to use conversation, but that's all you
- 1:18:04Speaker 1: can do. That's all you could do. Matter of fact,
- 1:18:09Speaker 1: No honor her wishes. Just go somewhere in honor her
- 1:18:14Speaker 1: damn wishes. And you don't want it, just go somewhere else.
- 1:18:17Speaker 1: Plenty of women out here ain't got that rude. They
- 1:18:18Speaker 1: don't even do the ninety day rule. Sometimes find you
- 1:18:21Speaker 1: somebody else. Leave that good little lady alone. She's they're engaged.
- 1:18:25Speaker 1: Though they're engaged. Somebody asked somebody to marry you, beautiful woman.
- 1:18:33Speaker 1: I get a picture or something? Can I least get
- 1:18:35Speaker 1: a picture? Can I see? Can he ask somebody she's
- 1:18:38Speaker 1: been with? Can he ask me like her ex husband? Yeah?
- 1:18:47Speaker 1: We need a referral and we need something. Yeah. Reference
- 1:18:55Speaker 1: removing on LaToya and Baltimore says, I'm twenty seven and
- 1:18:59Speaker 1: my boyfriend's five, and he's so inconsiderate. He drives me crazy.
- 1:19:04Speaker 1: It drives me crazy. We just got a place together,
- 1:19:07Speaker 1: and his mother came over to see her rental house,
- 1:19:09Speaker 1: and she brought my boyfriend's ex girlfriend with her. He
- 1:19:12Speaker 1: welcomed them in and I went to my bedroom after
- 1:19:15Speaker 1: I barely spoke to them, even though his ex is married. Now,
- 1:19:19Speaker 1: I don't think it's appropriate for him to allow her
- 1:19:21Speaker 1: into our home. He called me immature and rude. Was
- 1:19:25Speaker 1: I being rude? Hell no? And I think his mama
- 1:19:28Speaker 1: out of line? Yeah, your brain, This dudes ex over
- 1:19:32Speaker 1: the house with his current woman living there, his mama rude?
- 1:19:36Speaker 1: He's stupid? Yeah, dog, immature? What to her? Immature mama? Mama?
- 1:19:45Speaker 1: I was disrespectful? She can. That's disrespectful on so many levels.
- 1:19:51Speaker 1: How would your mama like it? Right if somebody bought
- 1:19:55Speaker 1: her husband's ex over to her house? Yeah, it doesn't
- 1:19:59Speaker 1: matter if she's married. Now, So what coming up? It
- 1:20:03Speaker 1: is our last break of the day, the last break
- 1:20:06Speaker 1: of the day, in your face. We'll have some closing

- 1:20:59Speaker 1: All right, Steve, Okay, you know, I was thinking about
- 1:21:05Speaker 1: something over the weekend, and I, you know, I read
- 1:21:10Speaker 1: a lot of motivational and self help books. Not not
- 1:21:15Speaker 1: really the whole book, I wouldn't say that, but I
- 1:21:18Speaker 1: read quotes and go to stuff. The last time I
- 1:21:21Speaker 1: read a motivational book, the the was the last. Well
- 1:21:28Speaker 1: that's a long story, but I read a lot of those.
- 1:21:31Speaker 1: But I read quotes and I listened to motivational series
- 1:21:34Speaker 1: a lot. I think that's the best way for me
- 1:21:36Speaker 1: to put it. And I was reading something that meant
- 1:21:39Speaker 1: a lot of sense, and I wanted to share with
- 1:21:41Speaker 1: everybody today because maybe you can find out where you
- 1:21:44Speaker 1: fit into this hole equation, and if you find out
- 1:21:47Speaker 1: that you're not where you want to be, there some
- 1:21:49Speaker 1: things you can do to change where you are and
- 1:21:53Speaker 1: who you associate with. And the thing I was reading
- 1:21:56Speaker 1: was kind of quoting something like this. I'm just gonna
- 1:21:59Speaker 1: paraphrase it because just talking right now, but it was
- 1:22:02Speaker 1: saying something to the fact that great people talk about ideas,
- 1:22:08Speaker 1: average people talk about things, and small people talk about
- 1:22:17Speaker 1: other people. And as I've thought about that, man, I said,
- 1:22:22Speaker 1: oh my goodness, how true is this? And if you
- 1:22:27Speaker 1: really analyze yourself, man, it can be a little shocking sometime,
- 1:22:31Speaker 1: if you think about it, because what is the majority
- 1:22:34Speaker 1: of your time spent doing? Are you constantly talking about ideas?
- 1:22:39Speaker 1: Because great people talk about ideas? Are you always talking
- 1:22:44Speaker 1: about things? A lot of things? You know, I mean,
- 1:22:47Speaker 1: average people talk about things. It's nothing wrong with being
- 1:22:49Speaker 1: average anoe of that. I'm not making a judgment call
- 1:22:52Speaker 1: on it. But small people talk about other people. And
- 1:22:56Speaker 1: that's where it gets into a little trickiness for me,
- 1:23:00Speaker 1: because you know, man, you have to be careful who
- 1:23:03Speaker 1: you associate yourself with. Because somebody once told me, if
- 1:23:06Speaker 1: you take a look at your five closest friends and
- 1:23:09Speaker 1: describe your five closest friends, once you get through, you
- 1:23:14Speaker 1: have just described yourself. Because you know what, man, you
- 1:23:18Speaker 1: actually get to select your friends. This is not your
- 1:23:20Speaker 1: family we're talking about. You're just born with them, but
- 1:23:23Speaker 1: you actually select your friends. You select who you text,
- 1:23:27Speaker 1: who you call, who you hang out with, who you
- 1:23:30Speaker 1: run with, who you socialize with. That's a choice. And
- 1:23:34Speaker 1: if you could describe your top five friends, you really
- 1:23:38Speaker 1: just described yourself. And I was just thinking about what
- 1:23:43Speaker 1: all this quote could really mean, and to me, it
- 1:23:46Speaker 1: just came down to great minds. They seem to love
- 1:23:50Speaker 1: to discover new ideas, you know, while average minds they
- 1:23:54Speaker 1: love to discover things which already happened. There's nothing wrong
- 1:23:59Speaker 1: with that. Once again, I'm not making a judgment call,
- 1:24:02Speaker 1: but I just try to learn for myself where I
- 1:24:05Speaker 1: want to be in life. Great minds love to discover
- 1:24:08Speaker 1: the new ideas, while average minds love to discover the
- 1:24:12Speaker 1: things which already happened. And at the same time, small
- 1:24:17Speaker 1: minds love to talk about the other people. I keep
- 1:24:21Speaker 1: getting back to them small people, because all they do
- 1:24:25Speaker 1: is talk about other people great great minds discuss ideas,
- 1:24:35Speaker 1: and great minds tend to find solutions which can help
- 1:24:39Speaker 1: prevent the problem. I've noticed that about a lot of
- 1:24:43Speaker 1: great people, that they discuss the ideas and tend to
- 1:24:49Speaker 1: find solutions that can help prevent problems. And then average minds,
- 1:24:55Speaker 1: which ain't nothing wrong with it, they discuss events, and
- 1:24:58Speaker 1: average minds have a tendency to find the problems without
- 1:25:04Speaker 1: looking for the solution. That's the difference. But then when
- 1:25:10Speaker 1: you get down to small mind small minded people. They
- 1:25:15Speaker 1: discuss people, small minded people. They have a tendency to
- 1:25:19Speaker 1: gossip about the people are the things, all the things
- 1:25:24Speaker 1: which aren't going to make any positive impact. Do you
- 1:25:29Speaker 1: know how true that is about small minded people. They
- 1:25:33Speaker 1: keep gossiping and they keep discussing things that don't have
- 1:25:37Speaker 1: an impact, and nothing positive comes from him. Ladies and gentlemen,
- 1:25:44Speaker 1: stop associating yourself with small minded people because it will
- 1:25:50Speaker 1: eventually rub off. If you want to be great, form
- 1:25:56Speaker 1: an association with great people. I'm telling you, man, if
- 1:25:58Speaker 1: you sit around people that's always talking about small things,
- 1:26:03Speaker 1: and you always around them, you got to jump in here.
- 1:26:08Speaker 1: You have to participate. It's you would be rude not to.
- 1:26:14Speaker 1: It would almost be insulting. You know, why are you here?
- 1:26:16Speaker 1: Why are you with us? Because if you w us,
- 1:26:19Speaker 1: you with us. And think about that, Man, I look
- 1:26:23Speaker 1: back on my life and I look at how many
- 1:26:25Speaker 1: times I set with small minded people and participated in
- 1:26:30Speaker 1: it because I was in the room with them. The
- 1:26:33Speaker 1: sooner you could disassociate yourself from small minded people, the
- 1:26:39Speaker 1: sooner you get to move into the area of greatness.
- 1:26:44Speaker 1: Because great minds discuss ideas average minds discuss events and
- 1:26:52Speaker 1: small minded people just discuss whatever they're doing in a negative,
- 1:26:57Speaker 1: negative way, in a negative slam. Don't let that Those
- 1:27:00Speaker 1: are my closing remarks to change your environment. Everybody, you did.
