- 0:15Speaker 1: like amazing buck things. And it's not doing me true
- 0:20Speaker 1: good at Steve has listening to mother for Steve, please, Hobby,
- 0:38Speaker 1: I don't join by join me to be doing me.
- 0:58Speaker 1: You gotta use that turn. You gotta turn to turn
- 1:41Speaker 1: them out. Turn't got to turn them out. Then the water,
- 1:47Speaker 1: the water come come on your back? That it, huh?
- 2:02Speaker 1: I show him a good morning. Everybody, y'all listening to
- 2:05Speaker 1: the voice, come on dig me now wanted only Steve
- 2:09Speaker 1: Harvey got a radio show. Okay, here we go. I
- 2:15Speaker 1: was working out. I was talking to a buddy of mine,
- 2:21Speaker 1: and I was telling him something that Bishop T. D.
- 2:23Speaker 1: Jake's told me one time I heard him say it.
- 2:27Speaker 1: He said, I would hate to die and not do
- 2:33Speaker 1: the thing that I was born to do. I would
- 2:38Speaker 1: hate to die and not do the theme that I
- 2:43Speaker 1: was born to do. Man, oh man, oh man, man.
- 2:48Speaker 1: That hit me like a like a like a pile
- 2:51Speaker 1: of bricks man, because it made me feel so grateful
- 2:57Speaker 1: that God has allowed me to live my life this
- 3:02Speaker 1: way now. And I'm talking about grateful for all of it,
- 3:08Speaker 1: the good, the bad, and the ugly, and I have
- 3:12Speaker 1: had all of them. The person you see today it
- 3:17Speaker 1: ain't always who I was. It was on the inside
- 3:20Speaker 1: of me, but it hadn't externalized itself, if that's a word.
- 3:25Speaker 1: It hadn't been brought out. It was in here, but
- 3:28Speaker 1: it was under development. Who I am today was a process.
- 3:34Speaker 1: But like I said before, don't trip hem through with
- 3:39Speaker 1: me yet. Even today, I'm still an imperfect soldier for Christ.
- 3:47Speaker 1: Today I still fall short oftentimes, but I'll tell you what,
- 3:54Speaker 1: I'm ever grateful for the life I have. And you
- 3:58Speaker 1: know what, I want to encourage everybody today to explore
- 4:04Speaker 1: your possibilities. I mean, man, explore your possibilities. Why would
- 4:12Speaker 1: you not want to find out, discover, or know what
- 4:21Speaker 1: it is God got for you? Why would you not
- 4:25Speaker 1: want to achieve or accomplish all of your possibilities? Now,
- 4:30Speaker 1: as I ask you this question, I want you to
- 4:33Speaker 1: know that the devil is busy, that he plays mind tricks.
- 4:37Speaker 1: So as you hear this, I already know he's saying
- 4:40Speaker 1: to some of y'all, Yeah, Steve, that's easy for you
- 4:43Speaker 1: to say, But I didn't get myself in this situation
- 4:46Speaker 1: right here. Ain't nothing too hard for God, nothing nothing.
- 4:54Speaker 1: And see, so as you listen to me, try to
- 4:57Speaker 1: try to get your mind open to this. Why would
- 5:00Speaker 1: you not want to explore all of your life's possibilities,
- 5:06Speaker 1: what's possible with your life? And I'm talking about from
- 5:09Speaker 1: right where you are right now. I'm not asking you
- 5:12Speaker 1: to change, I'm not asking you to do anything. I'm
- 5:16Speaker 1: telling you this is a fact that God can get
- 5:19Speaker 1: you from right where you are right now. Broken, misled, misguided, misunderstood, mistaken,
- 5:34Speaker 1: all of that, misfortunate, all of the missus you've been
- 5:39Speaker 1: talking about in your life. You know you. I missed
- 5:43Speaker 1: the lottery, I missed my ride. They fined me, I
- 5:47Speaker 1: missed the deadline. I didn't get it. Miss people people
- 5:51Speaker 1: just miss stay self to death. If you've been all
- 5:55Speaker 1: in missus, God can get you from right where you are.
- 6:00Speaker 1: God a home run hitter. I'm here to tell you
- 6:02Speaker 1: that he's a home run hitter. He's a put him
- 6:05Speaker 1: over the wall whenever he wants to, all the time.
- 6:08Speaker 1: And you can be a recipient of some of these
- 6:10Speaker 1: home runs. He'll put the bat in your hand. But
- 6:12Speaker 1: you got to swain. Now, listen to me. You got
- 6:16Speaker 1: to stop feeling sorry for yourself. You got to stop
- 6:19Speaker 1: holding yourself down with beating yourself up. He won't hold
- 6:22Speaker 1: you down about it if you don't hold yourself down
- 6:25Speaker 1: about it. But I'm gonna tell you one more time.
- 6:27Speaker 1: The devil is busy. So what the devil do is
- 6:30Speaker 1: He makes you think you ain't worthy. He makes you
- 6:33Speaker 1: think that you've done something so despicable that you can't
- 6:36Speaker 1: come back from it. He makes you feel like you're
- 6:38Speaker 1: so low you can't go up high. He knocked you down,
- 6:41Speaker 1: and make you feel like you've been knocked down harder
- 6:43Speaker 1: than anybody else. You can't get up. He rolled you
- 6:45Speaker 1: so deep down in that ditch you can't see over
- 6:48Speaker 1: the edge. God can come get you from no matter
- 6:52Speaker 1: where you are. I'm telling you, man, you ain't in
- 6:56Speaker 1: no hole too deep for God. Magic Johnson to tell
- 6:59Speaker 1: you that. Listen to me, you ain't in no hole
- 7:02Speaker 1: too deep for God. Steve Harvey can tell you that
- 7:05Speaker 1: you ain't in a hole too deep for God. Tyler
- 7:09Speaker 1: Perry can tell you that. I can name you some people.
- 7:12Speaker 1: Bishop Jake can tell you that I could tell you.
- 7:14Speaker 1: Kenneth Alma can tell you that Bishop Kenneth Olman, I
- 7:17Speaker 1: could tell you some people. Kirk Franklin can tell you that.
- 7:20Speaker 1: Donnie mcclarkton can tell you that. I just know some
- 7:23Speaker 1: people personally man that they've been in a hole. Joel
- 7:26Speaker 1: Oldstein can tell your about it. I know some people
- 7:29Speaker 1: man been down, been in a hole so deep. I
- 7:32Speaker 1: bet you. Paula Deane can tell you about it. See.
- 7:37Speaker 1: But but you know what, then here we go, see
- 7:39Speaker 1: we see see you know, see we don't. We don't
- 7:43Speaker 1: like to talk about that because now we want everybody
- 7:45Speaker 1: to pay extra hard for some mistakes they made when
- 7:49Speaker 1: clearly and excuse me for being a new Christian, but
- 7:52Speaker 1: there is a prad that I've been saying since I
- 7:54Speaker 1: was a little bitty boy, and it took me till
- 7:56Speaker 1: I was a grown man to understand it. Forgive us
- 7:59Speaker 1: our trusts, asses, as we forgive those who trust passed
- 8:02Speaker 1: against us. So see, it ain't my job to hold
- 8:06Speaker 1: nobody down, to keep my knee on somebody's neck. Who
- 8:09Speaker 1: am I I'm gonna need some forgiveness in a second here,
- 8:13Speaker 1: probably today. See so all this, you're holding people down
- 8:17Speaker 1: with the way you feel in bout them. And she
- 8:20Speaker 1: shouldn't have said this, and she will never get it.
- 8:22Speaker 1: I never support this again. Man, get up, Get up
- 8:25Speaker 1: and get real. You're for real. You think you ain't
- 8:27Speaker 1: fit the need forgiveness real soon you ain't fna make
- 8:30Speaker 1: a diabolical mistake in your life. You don't think you are.
- 8:33Speaker 1: I have thousands of them, probably gonna make a few
- 8:36Speaker 1: hundred more for I get up out of here. So
- 8:39Speaker 1: I've decided to be in a forgiving business because I
- 8:44Speaker 1: want God to forgive my trust passes as I forgive
- 8:47Speaker 1: those who trust passed against me. You understand. See excuse
- 8:51Speaker 1: me for being a new Christian. I get I get
- 8:54Speaker 1: tired of talking to pistol, to people man supposed to
- 8:57Speaker 1: be saved and talking about dead Christian. I don't want
- 8:59Speaker 1: that type of religion. Man. I ain't in that no more.
- 9:01Speaker 1: I ain't in that. You can call me wrong if
- 9:03Speaker 1: you want to saying how you want to say. I
- 9:05Speaker 1: ain't in that no more. I ain't in all that.
- 9:07Speaker 1: You can feel how you want to feel about me.
- 9:09Speaker 1: But I got proof that God work in my life.
- 9:11Speaker 1: You know, I can't hardly get it out Sometime when
- 9:14Speaker 1: people ask me something about deeper on the inside of
- 9:16Speaker 1: me about my soul and how I used to being,
- 9:19Speaker 1: and my journey and my trip. Because people don't know
- 9:21Speaker 1: the trip I've been on. You may have been on
- 9:23Speaker 1: one worse than me, but you know what, you ain't
- 9:25Speaker 1: in a hole too deep. God can't get you out of. Man.
- 9:28Speaker 1: I wish, I want. I want people to remember that man,
- 9:31Speaker 1: God is a redeemer, He the great I am. So
- 9:35Speaker 1: if you ain't got nothing, now what you asking fault?
- 9:38Speaker 1: You know you might not have nothing because you ain't
- 9:40Speaker 1: asking for nothing? Could asking God to get you out
- 9:43Speaker 1: of debt and ask God for a life of abundance.
- 9:46Speaker 1: Then you take the money and you get out of debt.
- 9:48Speaker 1: You keep asking to get out of debt, you keep
- 9:50Speaker 1: being in debt to get out of Come on, man,
- 9:52Speaker 1: what you're asking God fault? I'm just tripping today, that's all.
- 9:56Speaker 1: I'm sorry. I apologize. You're listening to morning show? All right, everybody,

- 12:32Speaker 1: the one you might have to go to hr good
- 12:34Speaker 1: morning Yeah yeah, nah, that's kind of creepy. J is
- 12:46Speaker 1: for good moning hr hr H. But I mean, are
- 12:52Speaker 1: you guys morning people. I'm a morning person. Yeah, definitely,
- 12:56Speaker 1: more definite morning person. I love the morning. I like
- 13:00Speaker 1: morning's neon night. Did I get up today? Person? Thank you? Lord?
- 13:12Speaker 1: All right, so guys, Part two of the Democratic Canada
- 13:15Speaker 1: Canada debate was last night in Detroit. We'll talk about that.
- 13:18Speaker 1: Biden Harris Junior had some poetry for us. Yeah, snooze
- 13:23Speaker 1: fest more like it. Junior is also going to be
- 13:26Speaker 1: filling in for the nephew today with the praying phone calls.
- 13:29Speaker 1: And I have another off the chain strawberry letter subject
- 13:32Speaker 1: too faced best friend now coming up at thirty two
- 13:35Speaker 1: after the hour, the most annoying trait you inherited from
- 13:39Speaker 1: your parents? Right after this? Yeah, you're listening to the
- 13:45Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, this time now for
- 13:49Speaker 1: something funny. Listen. We want to know what is the
- 13:52Speaker 1: most annoying trait you inherited from your parents? So one
- 13:56Speaker 1: day at work, someone says to you, you know you
- 13:59Speaker 1: sigh after you take us every sip? Uh? You think, no,
- 14:03Speaker 1: I don't. But then you remember and you realize your
- 14:07Speaker 1: mom side after all of her SIPs when she was
- 14:09Speaker 1: drinking coffee or water or whatever. Yeah, oh no, you
- 14:16Speaker 1: think so I gotta ask the guys. I gotta ask
- 14:19Speaker 1: everyone what annoying traits have you unknowingly inherited from your
- 14:23Speaker 1: mom and dad? Junior? Oh, this is easy for me, rocking,
- 14:29Speaker 1: rocking back and forth, back and forth, all this rocking,
- 14:33Speaker 1: I've never noticed the whole room of my family on
- 14:35Speaker 1: my mom's side, we all rock I've been rocking since birth.
- 14:38Speaker 1: Just you just wake up and you just go back
- 14:41Speaker 1: and forth for no reason. Even when I get quiet
- 14:44Speaker 1: and forget i'd be in my hotel room, I start
- 14:46Speaker 1: rocking and knee rubbing. That's the trait I got from them.
- 14:49Speaker 1: Have you tried, yeah, rocking and knee rubbing. Just see
- 14:52Speaker 1: sitting there and everybody does it though everybody family, everybody
- 14:58Speaker 1: rubs they knee and rock style. Wow. Wow? What about
- 15:03Speaker 1: What annoying traits have you unknowingly inherited from mom and dad?
- 15:09Speaker 1: Probably the way I eat chicken. It is, I'm speak out.
- 15:15Speaker 1: I go, I go all in the way I eat
- 15:17Speaker 1: chicken I from my dad. I get all the marrow.
- 15:20Speaker 1: When I was eating meat, I get all the yeah,
- 15:23Speaker 1: I go. It's embarrassing. I cannot do this in front
- 15:27Speaker 1: of people. It's like, dude, there's no more meat on
- 15:30Speaker 1: the bone. Okay, I break the bone up. I get
- 15:34Speaker 1: all that out when I when I eat a drumstick,
- 15:38Speaker 1: I take that little that little part of it look
- 15:40Speaker 1: like a toothpick, and I make that a toothpick. I
- 15:43Speaker 1: just that if you set that right, that is a
- 15:51Speaker 1: nice toothpick. That you set it down and let it dry.
- 15:55Speaker 1: So all right, Carlos, your what I can think off
- 16:02Speaker 1: the top of my head. Mom, she used to sleep
- 16:07Speaker 1: with her fist bald. Really yeah, Dad explains why you
- 16:14Speaker 1: are where you are? Ready, Yeah, I would say, Mama,
- 16:21Speaker 1: why do you sleep with your fist up? Okay, somebody
- 16:24Speaker 1: trying to start. Yeah, yeah, that's why you are your
- 16:28Speaker 1: mother's child. Yeah, so much crazy. So the other day
- 16:36Speaker 1: I rolled over and I noticed that the woman knuckles
- 16:38Speaker 1: hurt be involved up all night, fighting all night Carla. Okay,
- 16:49Speaker 1: so what's the question against? Okay, the question is what
- 16:52Speaker 1: annoying traits have you unknowingly inherited from your mom and dad.
- 16:56Speaker 1: Mine has to be, Yeah, mine has to be scratching dandruff.
- 17:01Speaker 1: But I'm actually excited and it just doesn't have to
- 17:05Speaker 1: be my dandriff. There can be anybody. Come in, Come in,
- 17:11Speaker 1: let me scratch your heads. I see something, I see
- 17:14Speaker 1: them come in. I love scratching dandruff. I love it.
- 17:18Speaker 1: Pull your head down, give me a retail comb to work. Man,
- 17:24Speaker 1: surely do you suck in after your team doing it?
- 17:26Speaker 1: Oh my god, yeah, scratching I do. I get a
- 17:31Speaker 1: thrill from it. I do. I love it. I love it. Yeah,
- 17:36Speaker 1: I absolutely love it. Yeah. Areas back to yeh j
- 17:40Speaker 1: oh oh. I got to say this, this is it.
- 17:43Speaker 1: I don't know what it is. And now you rocking.
- 17:46Speaker 1: I was rocking just now. Wasn't just rocking. I was
- 17:50Speaker 1: just doing it. I wasn't even paying attention. Wait a minute, Yeah,
- 17:53Speaker 1: I'm talking about rocking and knee rubb at the same time.
- 17:56Speaker 1: But the other trait I would have to say I
- 17:58Speaker 1: got from my family, especially for my dad's side of
- 18:00Speaker 1: the family, is shirts above your stomach after you eat. Everybody, Grandmama,
- 18:06Speaker 1: the kids, grandma, everybody pulls their shirt up over their
- 18:10Speaker 1: stomach right when they finish eating. It's like the women too,
- 18:14Speaker 1: everything his grandmother. Everybody right up under like right up
- 18:19Speaker 1: under the breast line, like right down. Shirts is up
- 18:22Speaker 1: and everybody rubbing their stomach at the same time. That
- 18:25Speaker 1: I got that from them. That is the trait I
- 18:27Speaker 1: know I have. You do realize why you're telling us this?
- 18:31Speaker 1: You are rubbing your knee. I'm recording you right now.
- 18:33Speaker 1: Did you realize I didn't even know? That is like
- 18:38Speaker 1: something I can't control. I don't know how you stop it. Wow,
- 18:41Speaker 1: it's not something you can stop. All right, come on,
- 18:45Speaker 1: you're up neck. What annoying traits have you unknowingly inherited
- 18:50Speaker 1: from you her mom and dad? Oh, my god, from
- 18:53Speaker 1: my mom. Got this from my mom. I do not
- 18:55Speaker 1: and you know this upset this over and over and
- 18:58Speaker 1: I don't like company, and my mom I'm didn't like company.
- 19:00Speaker 1: In fact, when I was really yeah, when I would
- 19:03Speaker 1: go to school, I was not allowed to come back
- 19:05Speaker 1: in the house to around eight or nine o'clock that night.
- 19:09Speaker 1: What are you doing? Who are you saying you were
- 19:12Speaker 1: company to your mom? She considered me once you leave
- 19:16Speaker 1: the house, you considered company. And you can let me
- 19:21Speaker 1: ask you something, Jay, Yes, yes, could your sister come
- 19:25Speaker 1: back in? Well, my sister stayed with my grandmama, so
- 19:27Speaker 1: she had a great life. And my sister had her
- 19:29Speaker 1: own room and here comes the sister and clothes, and
- 19:34Speaker 1: my sister had a bicycle. And on Christmas and my
- 19:37Speaker 1: sister got stuff. And no, she had a refrigerator. We
- 19:42Speaker 1: didn't have a refrigerator. Live one. The question is annoying.
- 19:46Speaker 1: You brought it up. You brought up now you don't
- 19:48Speaker 1: want to answer. You're gonna bring up night now, you
- 19:51Speaker 1: don't want to get I thought you guys lived together,
- 19:54Speaker 1: but if if your sister lived with your mom though
- 19:56Speaker 1: my grandmother, I lived with my mom, which means we
- 19:59Speaker 1: were struggling one shoe until Runney Runny eighth the ninth raide.
- 20:08Speaker 1: People thought I had a limping brother. Why does he limp?
- 20:11Speaker 1: I got one shot come in the house. You can't
- 20:18Speaker 1: come again in like eight thirty nine o'clock. Wow, that's
- 20:23Speaker 1: all right, So it was so call us with your
- 20:26Speaker 1: annoying traits. Such a guy from your parents. At eight
- 20:28Speaker 1: seven seven twenty nine, Steve, that's eight seven seven twenty nine,
- 20:33Speaker 1: Steve guests, who is here the one and only Junior
- 20:36Speaker 1: who sounds just like nephew Tommy got run that prank back?
- 20:40Speaker 1: Right after this, you're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 20:45Speaker 1: So coming up at the top of the hour, entertainment news,
- 20:48Speaker 1: John Legend is honored as a Freedom Award recipient, and
- 20:52Speaker 1: in other news are Kelly calls his alleged accusers disgruntled groupie.
- 20:57Speaker 1: Right now, Wow, I don't care like I said, nephews out,
- 21:01Speaker 1: Junior's in with today's run that prank back? What you
- 21:04Speaker 1: got for us, Junior and must have Sun must Sun.
- 21:12Speaker 1: Huh boy, you do Tommy better than Tommy Runnekin. Hello. Hello,
- 21:21Speaker 1: I'm trying to reach Vanessa. Please Vanessa. My name is Robert.
- 21:26Speaker 1: I'm the one of the owners. You know, my wife Michelle,
- 21:29Speaker 1: we own there. Yes, yes, yes, can I help you? Okay,
- 21:33Speaker 1: we've been uh. I think we've had your son, Malik,
- 21:36Speaker 1: probably close to a year now. I'm all right, yes
- 21:39Speaker 1: you have is everything? Okay? No, everything's fine, Everything is fine.
- 21:42Speaker 1: I don't think we have a problem that we can't
- 21:44Speaker 1: clear up. Um, I have a question for you. Have
- 21:48Speaker 1: you been noticing anything different about Malik? Um? Like concerning
- 21:54Speaker 1: hygiene at all? Hygiene? No, not that I can be called?
- 21:58Speaker 1: What are you talking about? Okay? How old is Malik?
- 22:01Speaker 1: He's too? Okay, Well, we soon have come across a
- 22:05Speaker 1: little glitch here that we're gonna try to take care
- 22:08Speaker 1: of here at the at the daycare. Actually my wife didn't.
- 22:11Speaker 1: I told her I would make the phone call and
- 22:13Speaker 1: leave her out of it. I know you see her
- 22:15Speaker 1: every day. One. Yeah, but what's the glitch are you
- 22:17Speaker 1: talking about? What? What is this glitch? I'm sorry, glitch?
- 22:20Speaker 1: What is this glitch that you want to talk about?
- 22:22Speaker 1: I'm confused. Okay, Well, actually we're having is it seemed
- 22:26Speaker 1: like every day here lately for the last two months,
- 22:30Speaker 1: Malik has been you know, very musty. You know, he
- 22:34Speaker 1: hasn't been really sweaty, but just real musty. Okay, you
- 22:37Speaker 1: clearly have the wrong child because I give my son
- 22:40Speaker 1: a bath every night, and most Martin is before he
- 22:43Speaker 1: leaves to school, I give him another bath again. So yeah,
- 22:45Speaker 1: I'm pretty positive you have the wrong child. No, man,
- 22:48Speaker 1: your son is Malik, right, and he's two years old.
- 22:51Speaker 1: You guys have been here with us right close to
- 22:53Speaker 1: a year now, correct, Yes, and okay, and he's cute,
- 22:57Speaker 1: a little kid with the curly hair. I know exactly
- 23:00Speaker 1: which one is. So what I'm what I'm saying to
- 23:02Speaker 1: you is that we are having problems. He's just he's
- 23:05Speaker 1: just reeking. You know, he's real musty. Okay, you know what,
- 23:08Speaker 1: my son does not reek. I don't know what child
- 23:10Speaker 1: you're talking about, but you're not talking about my child.
- 23:12Speaker 1: I just told you and make sure that he gets
- 23:14Speaker 1: a bath every night, So that's not my child. My
- 23:16Speaker 1: child is very clean. Okay. Well, what hang on, Vanessa.
- 23:20Speaker 1: What I'm trying to get you to understand is I'm
- 23:21Speaker 1: trying to. This is why my wife didn't want to call. Okay,
- 23:24Speaker 1: and I'm glad I'm actually the one that made the call.
- 23:27Speaker 1: What we need to do. This is what I'm gonna do.
- 23:28Speaker 1: I'm just gonna try a little experiment for the next
- 23:31Speaker 1: month or so. Experiment. No, I'm sorry, Well what do
- 23:34Speaker 1: you mean experiment? What kind of experiment? Well, what I'm
- 23:37Speaker 1: gonna do is I'm gonna put some male deodorant on
- 23:39Speaker 1: him for the next well just for the next month,
- 23:42Speaker 1: and we'll see how it plays out. No, no no, no,
- 23:44Speaker 1: you're not You're not gonna put anything on my child.
- 23:46Speaker 1: That's not gonna happen. Okay, Well, man, I'm trying to
- 23:48Speaker 1: I'm trying to fix the problem here. I just wanted
- 23:50Speaker 1: to call it. It It doesn't happen a problem. I'm already
- 23:52Speaker 1: told you that my son is clean. You're not gonna
- 23:54Speaker 1: put any moment on him, and if you do, it's
- 23:57Speaker 1: going to be a problem. Do you understand me? Okay, man,
- 23:59Speaker 1: I'm not trying to have an argument with you. What
- 24:02Speaker 1: I want you to know is I'm not trying to
- 24:03Speaker 1: remember but either, but you're trying. You talked about putting
- 24:06Speaker 1: you all my child. You easy. You can't do that.
- 24:08Speaker 1: I'm not gonna have to happen in Please don't make
- 24:11Speaker 1: me have to come down to that school for you
- 24:12Speaker 1: and your wife. Okay, now listen, we're gonna have to
- 24:15Speaker 1: do something about your child. Your child is musty, okay,
- 24:18Speaker 1: And you're sitting here getting an attitude with me, and
- 24:20Speaker 1: I'm trying to let you know your child is not nonsense.
- 24:23Speaker 1: Maybe you're the one that is musty. Maybe you and
- 24:25Speaker 1: your wife are musty. My child is not musty. I
- 24:28Speaker 1: keep telling you that I bathed him every night, which
- 24:30Speaker 1: pointed that you don't you understand. I understand everything that
- 24:32Speaker 1: you're saying. Maybe it's the soap, maybe something that is
- 24:35Speaker 1: not taking effect. I'm not sure. Okay, maybe he doesn't
- 24:38Speaker 1: smell it you because I don't know what child smelling child?

- 24:55Speaker 1: son is in there with the rest of the kids.

- 28:59Speaker 1: the top of the hour. Some entertainment news for you
- 29:01Speaker 1: right after this, you're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Well,
- 29:08Speaker 1: in today's entertainment news, r Kelly as the federal judge
- 29:11Speaker 1: to release him before his pending trial. What noware and
- 29:17Speaker 1: anybody locked up won't to be released? Yeah? Talking about
- 29:23Speaker 1: all right? His lawyers say yeah. His lawyers say he
- 29:32Speaker 1: does not represent a threat because they claimed the allegations
- 29:35Speaker 1: against him are bogus. In explaining their position, they say
- 29:39Speaker 1: the groupie sought out Robert's attention, even fought each other
- 29:43Speaker 1: for it, voluntary, voluntarily contacted him, came to his shows,
- 29:48Speaker 1: pined to be with him. Are Kelly's lawyer Douglas Anton
- 29:53Speaker 1: doesn't stop there, he claims in the documents, the government
- 29:56Speaker 1: is trying to paint a picture of a nefarious pattern,
- 29:59Speaker 1: but all amounts to five disgruntled groupies, not all of
- 30:03Speaker 1: which are alleged to be under age, who now showed
- 30:06Speaker 1: groupie remorse so many years later, and only after a
- 30:09Speaker 1: TV show and an aggressive vocal Cook County prosecutor makes
- 30:14Speaker 1: a public cry for victims, come forth, tell your story
- 30:17Speaker 1: and be famous. And there's more. There's more. Okay, Yeah,
- 30:22Speaker 1: there's more. Our Kelly's team zeroes in on one of
- 30:26Speaker 1: the alleged victims, who was not a miner when she
- 30:29Speaker 1: first had contact with him. They say she came to
- 30:34Speaker 1: his door and wanted him so much that she alleges
- 30:37Speaker 1: that she did not require or even request that a
- 30:40Speaker 1: condom be used as for her allegation Kelly gave her
- 30:44Speaker 1: her pies. Kelly's lawyers say she was admittedly promiscuous and
- 30:49Speaker 1: that fed's never looked into how many other sexual partners
- 30:53Speaker 1: she had. Yeah, that's still not getting out. You're getting yeah, becaara,
- 31:00Speaker 1: What about the the other underage so called telling them
- 31:05Speaker 1: the truth? With that situation, the other underage victim, too
- 31:09Speaker 1: much evidence against him? Yeah, go on, hey, ja, we
- 31:14Speaker 1: need the lights out here, Ja, lights out, kay q
- 31:19Speaker 1: J for the lights out right here singing out all
- 31:26Speaker 1: that damn stepping ain't done? Room step, sit down? See
- 31:38Speaker 1: nothing wrong? I see something wrong. Yeah, you're not getting out.
- 31:50Speaker 1: That's what I love. Lights out, staying the room that
- 31:54Speaker 1: stepping out? Yes, sleepy, Are you quite done? Thank you, sir.
- 32:07Speaker 1: Nobody body calling you. Nobody, nobody is calling you. Ain't
- 32:11Speaker 1: nobody body it's calling you. Nobody's body you're calling you. Okay,
- 32:17Speaker 1: I knew he wasn't done. I knew him. I knew it.
- 32:21Speaker 1: All right, Well, we're gonna move on. In other entertainment news,
- 32:24Speaker 1: we gotta say congratulations to John Legend. John. Yes, John
- 32:29Speaker 1: Legend will be honored at the Memphis National Civil Rights
- 32:33Speaker 1: Museum for his accomplishments and promoting social justices and equality.
- 32:37Speaker 1: Go to John Legend dot com for more on this
- 32:40Speaker 1: story and more entertainment news. For more entertainment news, go
- 32:43Speaker 1: to Steve Harvey at m dot com. Okay, yeah, cool, Yeah,
- 32:47Speaker 1: congratulations John really was he went off though the other day. Yeah, Yeah,
- 32:55Speaker 1: he's John. Yeah, he really went as president? He was
- 33:00Speaker 1: he was. Yeah, he like the dark side of John legend. Huh.
- 33:09Speaker 1: All right, let's get to miss Anne. She's here with
- 33:12Speaker 1: more into last night's democratic debate in Detroit. Jay, all right, everybody,
- 33:16Speaker 1: it's time for the news with miss A Trip here. Yes,
- 33:20Speaker 1: and we're going to talk about that debate. This is
- 33:21Speaker 1: and Trip with the News. The ten remaining Democratic presidential
- 33:24Speaker 1: hopefuls faced off against each other last night. This time
- 33:27Speaker 1: everybody on stage wasn't white. Also, in an effort to
- 33:30Speaker 1: stand out, most of them went after front runer Vice
- 33:33Speaker 1: president Joe Biden. However, Julian Castro, he actually brought up
- 33:37Speaker 1: crime and cops. We have a police system that is
- 33:40Speaker 1: broken and we need to fix it. And whether it's
- 33:43Speaker 1: someone like Tamir Rice or Michael Brown or Eric Garner,
- 33:46Speaker 1: where the Trump Justice Department just decided not to pursue charges,
- 33:49Speaker 1: we do ensure we have a national use of force
- 33:51Speaker 1: standard and that we end qualified immunity for police officers
- 33:55Speaker 1: so that we can hold them accountable. Alser Pantalio used
- 33:59Speaker 1: a chokehole that was prohibited by NYPD. He did that
- 34:02Speaker 1: for seven seconds, eleven different times. Eric Garner said that
- 34:05Speaker 1: he couldn't breathe he knew what he was doing, that
- 34:07Speaker 1: he was killing Eric Garner, and yet he has not
- 34:10Speaker 1: been brought to justice. That police officer should be off
- 34:12Speaker 1: the street. Mari de Blasio, please respond. Let me tell
- 34:17Speaker 1: you I know the Garner family that have gone through
- 34:20Speaker 1: extraordinary pain. They are waiting for justice and are going
- 34:22Speaker 1: to get justice because for the first time, we are
- 34:25Speaker 1: not waiting on the federal Justice Department, which told the
- 34:29Speaker 1: City of New York that we could not proceed because
- 34:32Speaker 1: the Justice Department was pursuing their prosecution and years went by.
- 34:38Speaker 1: In fact, there were a chance to fire Pantalio. Fire
- 34:41Speaker 1: Pantalio during the speech. Most of it gone to Corey Booker,
- 34:44Speaker 1: but they were trying to through aiming at middle de Blasio. Meanwhile,
- 34:47Speaker 1: as Senator Kamala Harris kept going after Joe Biden, they
- 34:50Speaker 1: represented from Hawaii, turned the tables and went after her.
- 34:53Speaker 1: Congresswoman Gabbard, you took issue with Senator Harris confronting Vice
- 34:57Speaker 1: President Biden at the last debate. You called it a
- 34:59Speaker 1: quote false accusation that Joe Biden is a racist. She's
- 35:03Speaker 1: proud of her record as a prosecutor and that she'll
- 35:06Speaker 1: be a prosecutor president. But I'm deeply concerned about Chris Record.
- 35:09Speaker 1: She put over fifteen hundred people in jail for marijuana
- 35:12Speaker 1: violations and then laughed about it when she was asked
- 35:14Speaker 1: if she ever smoked marijuana. She blocked evidence. She'd blocked
- 35:19Speaker 1: evidence that would have freed an innocent man from death
- 35:22Speaker 1: row until the courts forced her to do so. She
- 35:25Speaker 1: kept people in prison beyond their sentences to use them
- 35:28Speaker 1: as cheap labor for the state of California. And she
- 35:31Speaker 1: fought to keep cash bail system in place that impacts
- 35:36Speaker 1: poor people in the worst kind of way. I was
- 35:39Speaker 1: Tulsa grab A sad news. Broadway producer and director How
- 35:42Speaker 1: Princes died at age ninety one. He was behind decades
- 35:45Speaker 1: of many musicals, cabaret fandom, on the opera, Filler on
- 35:48Speaker 1: the Roof, one of my favorite Sweeney Todd and West
- 35:50Speaker 1: Side story. How Prince won twenty one Tony Awards, more
- 35:54Speaker 1: than any other person. How Prince died in Iceland after
- 35:56Speaker 1: a brief illness. Now back to the Steve Harvey Warning show.
- 36:00Speaker 1: You're listening, all right, Well it's about that time again.
- 36:05Speaker 1: What time is it? You say? Can we dim the loo,
- 36:08Speaker 1: dim the lights in the studio? We want to set
- 36:10Speaker 1: a mood here. Uh, it's Thursday, so that must mean
- 36:13Speaker 1: it's time for a poem from Junior. It's poetry Thursday
- 36:17Speaker 1: with Junior. Thank you, you're welcome. Thank you so much,

- 36:27Speaker 1: I just want to let you know. This is a
- 36:29Speaker 1: relationship poem I wrote. And in every relationship you always
- 36:33Speaker 1: have the same questions. Excuse me? Is this poem gonna
- 36:36Speaker 1: be good? Because last time? Hey, they're all good. Write
- 36:40Speaker 1: them no no hate necessary, good poem. That's why I do.
- 36:49Speaker 1: The mood has to be said. Here we go. This
- 36:52Speaker 1: is a called relationship poems that do you always have
- 36:55Speaker 1: questions in your relationship? Here's some questions. Here we go? Um,
- 37:02Speaker 1: what how come? And I'm just asking? How come? How
- 37:08Speaker 1: come you sleep so loud? How come you don't look
- 37:12Speaker 1: nothing like your picture? How come it take you so
- 37:17Speaker 1: long for you to put out the driveway in the morning?
- 37:20Speaker 1: How come this don't even rhyme? Dude? How come your
- 37:24Speaker 1: phone always have one percent battery life? How come? How
- 37:30Speaker 1: come you leave one sip of juice in the damn container?
- 37:33Speaker 1: How Come? How come I can't find the key to
- 37:38Speaker 1: your diary, but you can find the key to mine.
- 37:41Speaker 1: How Come? What how come your Bible don't have no
- 37:46Speaker 1: underlyinges or highlights in it because you ain't been reading?
- 37:50Speaker 1: How come the dumbest poem? Ever? Every time I come
- 37:55Speaker 1: over here, I just want to know? How come your
- 37:56Speaker 1: internet connection is so slow? In my not? How come?
- 38:02Speaker 1: How come you think I'm yo baby? And last, but
- 38:07Speaker 1: not least, I'm wondering, how come I stay? How come?
- 38:11Speaker 1: How come you call yourself a poet? I don't even
- 38:19Speaker 1: understand that thentry I do doesn't necessarily have to rhyme. Now,
- 38:23Speaker 1: these were something y'all missed the point. These are questions
- 38:26Speaker 1: in your relationship? How come it is so? Maybe I
- 38:33Speaker 1: don't have to be that deep, Shirley, you just gave
- 38:35Speaker 1: radios full of rhymers. You know everything l COJ said
- 38:41Speaker 1: didn't rm. But he's the goat though, you're comparing yourself
- 38:45Speaker 1: to the goat went to the top of the food.
- 38:48Speaker 1: I went right up there, sat next, sat down. Yeah, yeah,
- 38:53Speaker 1: that's how come? How come how come he got a segment?
- 38:59Speaker 1: All right? Thank you, thank you, thank you. Pet Yes,
- 39:05Speaker 1: such a gifted poet, right, all right. Coming up at
- 39:09Speaker 1: thirty four after the hour, guys, we'll discuss last night's
- 39:12Speaker 1: Democratic candidates national debate. It went down in Detroit last
- 39:16Speaker 1: night right after this, Yeah, you're listening to the stew Well,
- 39:26Speaker 1: it was a rematch last night for Joe Biden and
- 39:28Speaker 1: Kamala Harris at the Fox Theater in Detroit for the
- 39:31Speaker 1: Democratic presidential debate. Other candidates included Honts, a long list
- 39:35Speaker 1: get Ready, Corey Booker, Andrew Yang, Julian Castro, Pelsea Gabbard,

- 39:51Speaker 1: and of course Donald Trump, who ran a commercial of course,
- 39:55Speaker 1: uh commercial promos. Yeah. I thought it was very smart
- 40:00Speaker 1: throughout the healthcare too, sure, yeah, I know, right, healthcare
- 40:04Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah, he ran a commercial during the debates. So, guys,
- 40:08Speaker 1: after watching both debates, who do you think has a
- 40:11Speaker 1: momentum or who do you think stood out from the pack?
- 40:17Speaker 1: I say Elizabeth Warren, I her number one? Yeah, Bernie
- 40:21Speaker 1: Bernie Sanders, Yeah, yeah, he came. I wrote the damn Bill.

- 40:33Speaker 1: what about yesterday last night's debate? I was boring, That's
- 40:37Speaker 1: why I said, Elizabeth Warren. It still holds up. He tweeted,
- 40:44Speaker 1: this was like watching Game of Thrones the main characters, oh,
- 40:51Speaker 1: without the main character, without John Snow And it was like,
- 40:57Speaker 1: this is this is I don't I don't think people
- 41:00Speaker 1: are feeling uh, Kamela Harris, Kamala Harris came. Don't think
- 41:05Speaker 1: they're feeling less than that. They're not feeling Jay Ansley, Yeah,
- 41:10Speaker 1: he's the governor of Washington. Yeah, we don't need anybody
- 41:13Speaker 1: who can manage trees. We got that. We trees and fish,
- 41:19Speaker 1: we got that. Tell we can and why we have
- 41:25Speaker 1: a volume pick it down to get it down. Take
- 41:28Speaker 1: it down, Take it down, Scottie so loud. And here's
- 41:33Speaker 1: another question, guys, this had nothing to do with anything,
- 41:37Speaker 1: but why was oj tweeting last night during the Listen
- 41:41Speaker 1: to this and then we'll discuss a Twitter world. Is
- 41:44Speaker 1: it my imagination that Yang and Gabbert are the only
- 41:48Speaker 1: two who know how to follow the rules of this debate? Well,
- 41:55Speaker 1: I tell you what happened. I tell you what happened.
- 41:58Speaker 1: I'm just saying, shut up. Oh J. We just to
- 42:02Speaker 1: shut him out. O need be here now? Is it
- 42:06Speaker 1: my imagination? You free? They asked Oji if he was
- 42:11Speaker 1: gonna watch the debates, and he said, I take a
- 42:13Speaker 1: stab at it. That's what he said. Leave he got
- 42:19Speaker 1: something to say. Oh, she can't even vote. Kenny just
- 42:23Speaker 1: trying to sneak back into society like real sneaky, like
- 42:27Speaker 1: you know, started on Twitter and you know, next thing
- 42:30Speaker 1: be a the club, you know. But you know, I've
- 42:33Speaker 1: never done one of those live tweets before, one of
- 42:35Speaker 1: the video tweets. I haven't never done that. I've done them.
- 42:38Speaker 1: It's just it's just a video. Yeah, I haven't done it. Yeah.
- 42:43Speaker 1: Oh yeah. And to answer OJ's question, yes, it's just you. Okay,
- 42:47Speaker 1: how about that? Ain't nobody else? Yeah? Hello, Twitter world?
- 42:51Speaker 1: What is it? Just? Yeah? Almost a million Jay, He's
- 42:58Speaker 1: done a hundred thous right now, That's what I'm looking at. Yeah,
- 43:04Speaker 1: but we have all these issues going on. We don't
- 43:06Speaker 1: have time to address at Oja statements. I know, I
- 43:08Speaker 1: got healthcare, we got the economy deal with, we did
- 43:11Speaker 1: the job. Time about with Oja talking back, Yeah, and
- 43:15Speaker 1: we got to worry about who's not gonna make this
- 43:19Speaker 1: we got to cut this list down him to it. Yeah,
- 43:22Speaker 1: and it seems like Kamala and Biden, they kind of
- 43:26Speaker 1: Kala want to go back at him every time, but
- 43:30Speaker 1: Biden didn't take debate though, he wasn't taking abatis. Well
- 43:32Speaker 1: he you know, he did his thing with her, but
- 43:36Speaker 1: it just seemed like she tuned out everybody else. Yeah,
- 43:39Speaker 1: they say something about Comla, she go back to back. Yeah,
- 43:42Speaker 1: let me bring him back in it. Yeah, it was
- 43:44Speaker 1: a lot of that. And didn't he say go easy
- 43:46Speaker 1: on me or something? Didn't he ask her to do
- 43:47Speaker 1: that in jest before the debates? But I didn't see
- 43:51Speaker 1: that part. Oh yeah, right in the beginning he did
- 43:53Speaker 1: say that. Yeah, oh wow, okay, okay, yeah, but I

- 54:00Speaker 1: that's for you. I'm do it again, one of more
- 54:03Speaker 1: time I didn't really get good. That's the letter. You know.
- 54:09Speaker 1: When Steve comes back, we do it three times, it's
- 54:11Speaker 1: going to annoy. Oh my god, he'll fire us. All alight, ladies,
- 54:16Speaker 1: and gentlemen, it's time for the straw baby Letta with
- 54:19Speaker 1: my good friend, my girl, Shirley Stromp Barry. Thank you,
- 54:23Speaker 1: my good friends, you and your subjects. Two faced best friend.
- 54:27Speaker 1: Here's Stephen. Shirley. My best friend and I were really
- 54:29Speaker 1: close for ten years. We were more like sisters and
- 54:33Speaker 1: we told each other all of our secrets. Well, last year,
- 54:36Speaker 1: she played Cupid between me and one of her male friends.
- 54:40Speaker 1: The guy and I have been together since then and
- 54:42Speaker 1: we are very happy. I never let my new relationship
- 54:46Speaker 1: affect my friendship with her. Everything was great between my
- 54:49Speaker 1: best friend and I until a few months ago. She
- 54:53Speaker 1: randomly stopped answering my calls, and her excuse was that
- 54:57Speaker 1: she was going through some things. I explained her her
- 55:00Speaker 1: that I was there for her if she needed to talk.
- 55:02Speaker 1: She kept shutting me out, and then one day she
- 55:06Speaker 1: called me to let me know that if my man
- 55:08Speaker 1: and I get serious, she will not be in our wedding.
- 55:12Speaker 1: She said she'd help me plant, but she would not
- 55:15Speaker 1: stand with me. I was very hurt, and our relationship
- 55:18Speaker 1: began to deteriorate. After that, I started ignoring her calls
- 55:22Speaker 1: in Texas because I could not deal with the drama.
- 55:26Speaker 1: I eventually told my man that my friend and I
- 55:29Speaker 1: were not speaking, and he told me that she was
- 55:31Speaker 1: not a true friend anyway. He said that shortly after
- 55:34Speaker 1: we started dating, my friend told him a lot of
- 55:37Speaker 1: my personal business and secrets that only she knew. I
- 55:41Speaker 1: called and told her about herself, and she apologized and
- 55:45Speaker 1: asked if we could hash it out so she could
- 55:47Speaker 1: tell me why she doesn't want to be in my wedding.
- 55:50Speaker 1: I don't want to talk to her at all. My
- 55:52Speaker 1: man says he wants us to repair our friendship because
- 55:55Speaker 1: I'm not the same without my best deep, I think
- 55:58Speaker 1: I'll be fine without a faced friend all up in
- 56:01Speaker 1: my business. What do you think should I hear her out? Well?
- 56:05Speaker 1: Right now, I think you're hurt. I think you're you're
- 56:08Speaker 1: you're very very hurt. You're in your feelings as well.
- 56:11Speaker 1: You should be. This is a ten year relationship that
- 56:15Speaker 1: got messed up. I mean, it's really crazy because this
- 56:19Speaker 1: is the person that introduced you guys. I mean it
- 56:21Speaker 1: sounds like to me it's a case of purious hate
- 56:24Speaker 1: uration from your former best friend. And again, she is
- 56:28Speaker 1: the one that introduced you guys. I don't I guess
- 56:32Speaker 1: I don't think she expected the relationship to get to
- 56:35Speaker 1: a whole wedding and everything, and she has some issues
- 56:39Speaker 1: going on. I think a lot has been left out
- 56:42Speaker 1: of this letter because you called her and she apologized,
- 56:46Speaker 1: and she said that she wanted to hash some things
- 56:49Speaker 1: out with you. So there's something that she needs to
- 56:53Speaker 1: tell you. And you ask the question, You say you
- 56:58Speaker 1: don't want to talk to her at all, and do
- 56:59Speaker 1: we think you should talk to her? And you think
- 57:02Speaker 1: she's going to be all up in your business. Well,
- 57:04Speaker 1: I think you should talk to her. I think you
- 57:06Speaker 1: need to find out what she has to say. At
- 57:08Speaker 1: least give her that chance to explain herself. It's been
- 57:10Speaker 1: ten years. I don't think you should throw a friendship away,
- 57:13Speaker 1: a ten year best friend friendship over a man. And
- 57:18Speaker 1: I think you guys need to get to the bottom
- 57:20Speaker 1: of this. Maybe your friendship won't be the same, Maybe
- 57:23Speaker 1: you guys will be closer after you hash it out.
- 57:25Speaker 1: I don't know, but I think each of you deserve
- 57:28Speaker 1: the opportunity to explain yourselves and to find out what happened.
- 57:32Speaker 1: You guys were like sisters, like sisters. Now just because
- 57:35Speaker 1: you're with this man and you're happy and you guys
- 57:37Speaker 1: are going to get married. There's something going on here
- 57:40Speaker 1: why she doesn't want to stand with you. Maybe she
- 57:44Speaker 1: knows something on the guy that she's not telling you.
- 57:46Speaker 1: You got to find out what it is before you
- 57:49Speaker 1: marry this man and before you lose a great friendship.
- 57:52Speaker 1: I mean, you know, it could be that that was
- 57:54Speaker 1: just your season, but I don't think so. I think
- 57:57Speaker 1: this deserves another chance. And yes, I absolutely I think
- 58:00Speaker 1: you should hear her out. Set up a time. If
- 58:04Speaker 1: your man says that you're not the same without your
- 58:06Speaker 1: best friend, and that's probably the truth, because if she's
- 58:09Speaker 1: like a sister for ten years, go ahead and talk
- 58:11Speaker 1: to her and find out what's going on. Okay, Junior,
- 58:15Speaker 1: I'm surely you probably the most qualified person to answer
- 58:18Speaker 1: that letter. Because men don't really underha these problems. We
- 58:22Speaker 1: don't communicate like this. You know, we don't really have
- 58:26Speaker 1: those type of issues in our friendship. We don't really
- 58:28Speaker 1: have the I if a man mad at me, we
- 58:31Speaker 1: don't really give a damn. That's not really If Jay
- 58:36Speaker 1: is upset me, Jay's upset to Jay want to talk again?
- 58:39Speaker 1: I don't beg Jay to call me. No, want to
- 58:41Speaker 1: say nothing to me? I don't ask Jay what the problem? Man,
- 58:44Speaker 1: I don't say Jay, I thought we was better than that.
- 58:47Speaker 1: I think y'all women probably most qualified for this letter.
- 58:50Speaker 1: This is not something that men do. I ain't never
- 58:52Speaker 1: found out Jay said something behind my back and went
- 58:54Speaker 1: back and say would he say, I'm not doing that.
- 58:58Speaker 1: The whole think that actually caught my attention is why
- 59:01Speaker 1: she won't stand in the wedding. That's something really deep
- 59:04Speaker 1: that goes on there. Because for you for a friend
- 59:06Speaker 1: for ten years to get married on her best day,
- 59:09Speaker 1: her wedding day, the day she'd been dreaming about, and
- 59:11Speaker 1: you have a part to plan it, but you ain't
- 59:13Speaker 1: gonna standing in it. That sounds crazy. That's backwards. Yeah.
- 59:17Speaker 1: I think there's something going on between her and the guy. Yeah, yeah,
- 59:22Speaker 1: that maybe something. But what he did another man answer?
- 59:25Speaker 1: He said, I don't know what you should do. I'm
- 59:28Speaker 1: not gonna say nothing. He thinks you'll work it out.
- 59:30Speaker 1: But that's something y'all gotta discussed, because we can't discuss that.
- 59:33Speaker 1: Men don't even have this type of temperament for the
- 59:35Speaker 1: type of mess. I wish I would call Tommy and say, Tommy,
- 59:38Speaker 1: what to hell Jay say about me? But then back
- 59:42Speaker 1: Tommy say, you ain't gonna believe I can't. We can't.
- 59:45Speaker 1: We don't have that type of dynamic differently, Yeah, yeah,
- 59:52Speaker 1: very built different, but we don't. We don't tolerate that. Now,
- 59:54Speaker 1: would Jake come back and say what he was mad about,
- 59:57Speaker 1: then we will talk about that. But until say something,
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: Julia's not chasing down a damn thing, Jay do, I'm
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: going plood j drip. I will let him die. Oh
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: my god. But it's different. Yeah, she did say that
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: her man wants them to repair their relationship because she's
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: not the same without her bestie. So they left a
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: lot out of this letter, and we'll get back into
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: the letter part two coming up at twenty three after
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: the hour, subject two faced best Friend. We'll hear from
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: Jay right after this. You're listening to the String Show.
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: All right, let's recap today's Strawberry letters, shall we? Subject
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: too faced best friend. A best friend wrote in she
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: was really close with her bestie for ten years. They
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: were more like sisters than best friends. They told each
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: other all their secrets. Well, last year one of the
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: best friends played Cupid between a letter writer and one
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: of her male friends, and they've been together ever since.
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: The guy and her best friend been together ever since.
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: She said they're very happy. She never let her friendship
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: her new relationship get in the way of each other.
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: Everything was great between her best friend until a few
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: months ago, she said. She said she randomly just stopped
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: answering her calls, and her excuse was that she was
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: going through some things, so everybody goes through some things,
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: all right. She explained that she was there for her
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: if she needed to talk, but she said the best
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: friend kept shutting her out. Then one day she called
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: to let her know that if they got serious in
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: this relationship, she would not be in the wedding. She
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: said she would help her planet, but she would not
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: stand with her. So she was hurt, needless to say,
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: and then their friendship began to deteriorate. After that, she
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: then started ignoring her bestiees calls in Texas because she
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: just didn't want to deal with the drama, so she
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: told her man. Her man eventually told her that her
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: best friend reveals some secrets that only she would know
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: and he wants them to work it out because he
- 1:01:59Speaker 1: says that she is not the same since she lost
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: her best friend and she doesn't necessarily want to talk
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: to her best friend again because she doesn't want to
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: drum or run her all up in her business. So
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: she's asking should she hear her out? Jay, what do
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: you say? This sounds like a real serious case of
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: somebody need a man, That's what this sounds. This sounds
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: like somebody got a man and somebody that need a man.
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: See to somebody who got a man is more happier
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: than the somebody who need a man. And sometimes when
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: you need a man and you don't want to be
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: happy for somebody who got a man, And what she
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: need to do is get a man and be happy
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: for somebody who got a man. Then they would both
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: have manses, but they don't ever both have one man'ses.
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: But they don't both have man'ses. And it's kind of
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: hard for the one who's man less to be happy
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: for the one who has a man already because she
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: gets to talk about things that people do while having
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: a man. She can't relate why because she ain't got
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: a man. She needs a man, so she can't be
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: happy because she don't have a man. So once she
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: gets a man, she will be happy in her life
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: because what she will have a man. Yeah, I'm gonna
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: be leaving and open to answer these questions. You know what,
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: she don't have? What she don't have a man? What
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: does an other one have a man and the other
- 1:03:28Speaker 1: one don't have what a man? You see what I'm
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: going with us? Good because I don't. But when gave
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: me what, Yeah, now we get it. We definitely get
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: I'm not finished. I'm not finished. When you have two
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: friends and they both were in the beginning man list,
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: you see what I'm doing that they will man list.
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: They we're both man listen, and all of a sudden
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: one gets a man. How can the one who don't
- 1:03:53Speaker 1: have a man, don't have a what a man? Be
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: happy for the one who don't have a man? Be
- 1:03:59Speaker 1: happy for one who I'm getting a hit of myself
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: for the one who have a man. So in order
- 1:04:04Speaker 1: for her to be happy, she needs to get it
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: a man or manure that's what he said. Yeah, I
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: think we were on the same page. I really think
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: that this is a case of pure hate ration. I
- 1:04:22Speaker 1: really do from the bestie, I definitely think that, And
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: I don't think she expected, like I said, for this
- 1:04:27Speaker 1: relationship to go all the way to a whole wedding
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: and and and all of this and for them to
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: get along so well and everything. So she's hurt by this.
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: A lot was left out of this letter. I couldn't
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: agree with you guys more. Yeah, a lot was left out.
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: Yeah there's something big. You know, there's something big going
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: on that we don't know about it. And it could
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: be you know, that he tried to hit on her
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: or whatever whatever. You know, it could be all of that.
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: You know, we don't know because they left it. They
- 1:04:52Speaker 1: left that major part out. But I still say they
- 1:04:56Speaker 1: should sit down and talk. I think the ten years
- 1:04:59Speaker 1: deserves that. I think they owe the ten year relationship.
- 1:05:02Speaker 1: That that's the only way. Who turns down the maid
- 1:05:05Speaker 1: of honor? Roll? I thought that was the one yea,
- 1:05:07Speaker 1: everybody wanted. If you're not gonna be the bride, be
- 1:05:09Speaker 1: the maid of honor because that's the one that controlled
- 1:05:11Speaker 1: everything for the brade. Is that how y'all do? Well? No,
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: the wedding planner controls everything or trust a monster day. Yeah,
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: the Britain party, you know, like, come on, girls, be
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: going down here. No no, no, it's gonna take a
- 1:05:22Speaker 1: trip here. No no, no, no, no, He's just stands. Yeah,
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: way you won't. He just stands like she like you
- 1:05:31Speaker 1: have the best man when you get married. That's her
- 1:05:34Speaker 1: best woman or her maid of honor. Yeah, that's that's
- 1:05:36Speaker 1: a game of thrones, like I could read like game
- 1:05:38Speaker 1: of throw like the hand, you know, the hand of
- 1:05:40Speaker 1: the queen, Like, ain't that the maide on? Like you
- 1:05:42Speaker 1: the hand? She's not terrion? No? Yeah, yeah, like she
- 1:05:46Speaker 1: a terrion. Who don't want that? Yea? The maid of
- 1:05:49Speaker 1: honor is there for the bride. Yeah, plans things, but
- 1:05:53Speaker 1: ultimately it is the bride's day and her decision. That's
- 1:05:57Speaker 1: to yea. And for that she works with the wedding planner. Seriously. Yeah,
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: oh if you don't have a wedding planet though, But
- 1:06:04Speaker 1: I see what Junior is trying to say. Everybody, most
- 1:06:07Speaker 1: people they don't. Most people do sometimes. I mean, I
- 1:06:11Speaker 1: don't know. It depends on your coins. My sister didn't
- 1:06:13Speaker 1: have one. You could tell you I made it different
- 1:06:17Speaker 1: if they make a difference. All right, Listen, guys, you
- 1:06:22Speaker 1: can email us or instagram us your thoughts on Today's

- 1:07:15Speaker 1: all of the men of five Beta Sigma supporting our
- 1:07:20Speaker 1: fraternity brother, a brother of five Beta Sigma, Elijah Cummings. Wow,
- 1:07:26Speaker 1: because Jim ain't gonna say nothing against Elijac'm that's right.
- 1:07:29Speaker 1: He is a mighty man of five Beta Sigma, and
- 1:07:33Speaker 1: we all our supported our frat brother, Reverend Al Shopton,
- 1:07:36Speaker 1: a member of five Beta Sigma, and we as a
- 1:07:39Speaker 1: matter of fact, I need Bill Clinton to step up,
- 1:07:42Speaker 1: who's also a member of five Beta Sigma and join
- 1:07:45Speaker 1: us in this fight to push Trump back. Don't talk
- 1:07:48Speaker 1: about if you talk about one sigma, you're gonna bring
- 1:07:51Speaker 1: the wrath of the whole Blue and White family. That. Okay,
- 1:07:54Speaker 1: I ain't supposed to say that I went too far.
- 1:07:55Speaker 1: My bad, I went too far, but a well, we
- 1:07:59Speaker 1: stick up for we stick out for a job. So
- 1:08:01Speaker 1: now let's get you the real discussion. Y'all. Watched the debate, yes, Cheryl,
- 1:08:05Speaker 1: the debate helped me understand with him. To listen. I
- 1:08:10Speaker 1: watched the first night. What's that girl named Mary and Williams.
- 1:08:15Speaker 1: She looked like she got that good weed. It looked
- 1:08:18Speaker 1: like she smoked every day. She was talking nothing, but
- 1:08:25Speaker 1: I mean, she made a lot of sense. But you
- 1:08:28Speaker 1: was like, girls, they ain't gonna do none of what
- 1:08:30Speaker 1: you just saying. She made a lot of sense. Yeah
- 1:08:39Speaker 1: that's right now, and she right what I saw maybe
- 1:08:43Speaker 1: one maybe two. I saw the president and a vice
- 1:08:45Speaker 1: president and then the rest of them need to be
- 1:08:48Speaker 1: in the cabinet. Stop playing. But I'm gonna tell you what.
- 1:08:51Speaker 1: Joe Biden wasn't taking no stuff. Joe Biden was bopp
- 1:08:55Speaker 1: Joe Biden was not playing and let me tell you something.
- 1:08:59Speaker 1: I don't want Calm Love and Joe to fight. That's
- 1:09:02Speaker 1: the ticket. I need them to make up. And then
- 1:09:04Speaker 1: I need Joe Biden to run for president, and then
- 1:09:07Speaker 1: President Obama can be in that visor, and then we're
- 1:09:09Speaker 1: gonna win this. We've got the winess, We've got the
- 1:09:12Speaker 1: wines and less. Next time, y'all have a debate you
- 1:09:15Speaker 1: need to talk about. If you're talking about slum areas,
- 1:09:18Speaker 1: you need to talk about the drag cushion. The whole
- 1:09:21Speaker 1: family own all this raggedy property. Out am I right, am?
- 1:09:26Speaker 1: I I'm making up Republicans, Cheryl. I love it. That's right,
- 1:09:31Speaker 1: that's right, he own all of the property. Ain't nobody
- 1:09:33Speaker 1: talking about him. I need the next debate. I need
- 1:09:36Speaker 1: y'all to get in that ass. Oh sorry, Carlin, my bad.
- 1:09:45Speaker 1: We love you, girl. Carlin's Reality update is up next
- 1:09:49Speaker 1: to the top of the hour right after this. You're listening,
- 1:09:57Speaker 1: all right, Junior, take it away all everybody, it's that
- 1:10:00Speaker 1: time for Carlin's Reality. You better hold a reality. But
- 1:10:09Speaker 1: this boy almost lost his voice. I know. I love it.
- 1:10:14Speaker 1: That's like they boy. I love that commercial. All right, guys,
- 1:10:19Speaker 1: let's talk about it. First, let's go with a Real
- 1:10:21Speaker 1: Housewives of Atlanta. We have to say congratulations to Real
- 1:10:26Speaker 1: Housewives of Atlanta starts Cynthia Bailey Shirley. We talked about
- 1:10:29Speaker 1: this earlier in the Weekend Entertainment News. Yes, she is engaged.
- 1:10:33Speaker 1: Her sportscaster boyfriend Mike Kill put a rain yes, so
- 1:10:38Speaker 1: they are engaged after fourteen months of dating. So Mike
- 1:10:42Speaker 1: reportedly pop the question with a five carried princess cut
- 1:10:46Speaker 1: diamond boy, and the cameras were there rolling, you know,
- 1:10:51Speaker 1: for our guests for the upcoming season. Well, there's some
- 1:10:54Speaker 1: shade that's going on now. According to Radline, always always
- 1:10:59Speaker 1: a show, pull your glasses, I pull your sunglasses out
- 1:11:02Speaker 1: of some shade. Word has it that Ninie Leaks exploded
- 1:11:07Speaker 1: and was mad that some of the ladies went to
- 1:11:10Speaker 1: the big engagement event and party and Marlowe. You know,
- 1:11:14Speaker 1: Nini and marlow are real close, and you know last
- 1:11:17Speaker 1: season Nini and Cynthia, you know, they fell out. So
- 1:11:21Speaker 1: it was according to Radar Online, they said Ninie got
- 1:11:24Speaker 1: mad and all of this. So Ninie has responded and
- 1:11:27Speaker 1: she said that she was very happy for Cynthia and
- 1:11:31Speaker 1: that she said that she also also sent her her
- 1:11:35Speaker 1: card well wishes and that she is tired. I guess
- 1:11:39Speaker 1: her response is to Radar online with the blocks and
- 1:11:42Speaker 1: everything trying to diminish her character. She's saying, why don't
- 1:11:46Speaker 1: y'all do something productive and donate to the American Cancer Society.
- 1:11:50Speaker 1: J Anthony, Yeah, yeah, lenge like that challenge. Also, let's
- 1:11:56Speaker 1: move on loving Hip Hop Atlanta the Reunion show part.
- 1:12:00Speaker 1: So remember last week we talked about Carly Red and
- 1:12:04Speaker 1: she had to take this lot detective tests about the
- 1:12:06Speaker 1: threesome with Pool and hire Hicks. And remember, I'll let
- 1:12:11Speaker 1: come on, Jilian give it to no. Well, here's the
- 1:12:16Speaker 1: information that drum roll, all right, so let you know
- 1:12:20Speaker 1: Carly Red she actually passed a lot detector tests about
- 1:12:24Speaker 1: the questions of her having what excuse me, what's easy.
- 1:12:30Speaker 1: I'm sorry, I didn't mean to put that out in
- 1:12:32Speaker 1: Yeah you read about it Hunt. Anyway, Carly read she
- 1:12:36Speaker 1: passed a lot of detector to tests about the question
- 1:12:38Speaker 1: of her having a threesome with Hiram Hicks and Pooh,
- 1:12:41Speaker 1: but it was inconclusive if she and Pooh were actually intimate.
- 1:12:49Speaker 1: So yeah, so that's that. But you know I watched
- 1:12:54Speaker 1: that reunion special and I believe Carly Red, I really,
- 1:12:57Speaker 1: I really really do. You just gotta believe what's in
- 1:12:59Speaker 1: front of you. If the other tests, the other questions
- 1:13:02Speaker 1: were that she was telling the truth, and then this
- 1:13:04Speaker 1: one was inconclusive, I'm just gonna go with that because
- 1:13:07Speaker 1: the other lady pooh, with all of these accusations, she
- 1:13:10Speaker 1: didn't take a lot of detective tests, so you know
- 1:13:13Speaker 1: what I'm saying. So, so what's that about. She didn't
- 1:13:16Speaker 1: like the way the show set up. Who was giving
- 1:13:19Speaker 1: a lot of detective tests. You wanted to use her
- 1:13:20Speaker 1: own person? Yeah? Yeah, guy, guy, take the tests. You
- 1:13:24Speaker 1: know what I'm saying. So just take the tests. Take
- 1:13:28Speaker 1: the test. In the words of surely precious, take the tests.
- 1:13:30Speaker 1: So anyway, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, and just at
- 1:13:42Speaker 1: it out. Yeah, before we run out of time. Real
- 1:13:44Speaker 1: Housewives of Atonemaker, Remember I told you about the sexual
- 1:13:47Speaker 1: assault charges against Ashley's husband, Michael. Well, the charges were
- 1:13:52Speaker 1: drop a cameraman. Yeah, he claimed that Michael groped him
- 1:13:57Speaker 1: and resulting in the charges and were temporary suspension of
- 1:14:02Speaker 1: filming a whole bunch of drama. Yeah, come on, Junior.
- 1:14:07Speaker 1: So the case was ultimately dismissed due to insufficient evidence.
- 1:14:12Speaker 1: But you know the ladies in Real Housewives of Potomac,
- 1:14:15Speaker 1: especially my girl Jazelle, we're messing behind a little bit.
- 1:14:18Speaker 1: They still have a lot of questions about Michael, but
- 1:14:21Speaker 1: Ashley is still standing by her man. So that's it.
- 1:14:26Speaker 1: We want to discuss this more. Go to at lips
- 1:14:29Speaker 1: by Carla Lips by Carla on social media on the
- 1:14:32Speaker 1: Gram Twitter, we can discuss Reality Update suppility and discuss it.
- 1:14:37Speaker 1: We'll be back at twenty after you're listening to the Stow.
- 1:14:43Speaker 1: All right, so, Carla, you just did Reality Update earlier,
- 1:14:49Speaker 1: right before we went to break. You didn't talk about
- 1:14:51Speaker 1: Shark week. I know we ran out of time, we
- 1:14:54Speaker 1: ran out of time, but here's a trending story from
- 1:14:57Speaker 1: our homestation in Jacksonville v. One oh one five. So
- 1:15:01Speaker 1: twenty three year old professional surfer Frank O'Rourke was catching
- 1:15:06Speaker 1: a few waves near Jacksonville, Florida. Duvall. You know when
- 1:15:09Speaker 1: he was do you know? Yeah? Well I was waiting
- 1:15:15Speaker 1: for you guys to do it. When I say Jacksonville, Yeah,
- 1:15:19Speaker 1: when he was surprised by a shark. Oh, let me
- 1:15:23Speaker 1: say that again. When he was surprised by a shark
- 1:15:27Speaker 1: that jumped out of the water and clamped down on
- 1:15:30Speaker 1: his right arm. It ended up being a three to
- 1:15:34Speaker 1: four foot black tip shark that tugged and thrashed and
- 1:15:38Speaker 1: then let go of Frank's arm. Frank and his friends
- 1:15:41Speaker 1: gathered on the beach after the attack, but instead of
- 1:15:44Speaker 1: heading to the hospital, Frank decided to stop in a
- 1:15:47Speaker 1: local inn at a local bar. It was a smart move,
- 1:15:50Speaker 1: of course, because he was able to tell the story
- 1:15:52Speaker 1: of the shark, which led to plenty of people buying
- 1:15:55Speaker 1: him drinks. No sense letting something as small as a
- 1:15:58Speaker 1: shark attack one and otherwise fun afternoons? Is that a
- 1:16:03Speaker 1: fresh bite? Is that? What? Yeah? Yeah, yeah, shark? What
- 1:16:10Speaker 1: you won't? Right? Wow? It takes me to the song
- 1:16:18Speaker 1: baby Shocked. All right, Bob Steve Harby Morning Show coming
- 1:16:23Speaker 1: up at thirty three after the hour, right after this,
- 1:16:26Speaker 1: you're listening to show. Well. It was a rematch last
- 1:16:31Speaker 1: night for Joe Biden and Kamala Harris at the Fox
- 1:16:33Speaker 1: Theater in Detroit for the Democratic presidential debate. Other candidates
- 1:16:37Speaker 1: included hosts a long list get Ready, Corey Booker, Andrew Yang,
- 1:16:41Speaker 1: Julian Castro, Telsey, Gabbert Kursten, gillibrand, Jay Ansley, Michael Bennett,
- 1:16:47Speaker 1: and Bill Deblasio. The candidates talked about racism, issues, immigration, guns, drugs,
- 1:16:54Speaker 1: the economy, and of course Donald Trump, who ran a commercial.
- 1:16:58Speaker 1: Of course, uh, a commercial promost smart. Yeah, I thought
- 1:17:02Speaker 1: it was very smart throughout the healthcare too. Sure, yeah,
- 1:17:05Speaker 1: I know, right, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, he ran a
- 1:17:09Speaker 1: commercial during the debates. So, guys, after watching both debates,
- 1:17:14Speaker 1: who do you think has a momentum or who do
- 1:17:16Speaker 1: you think stood out from the pack? I say Elizabeth
- 1:17:21Speaker 1: warrens her number one? Yeah, Bernie Bernie Sanders, Yeah, yeah,
- 1:17:27Speaker 1: he came. I wrote the damn bill. Yeah yeah. So
- 1:17:34Speaker 1: that was tuesdays yes debate. So what about yesterday, last
- 1:17:38Speaker 1: night's debate? I was boring, That's why I said, Elizabeth Warren.
- 1:17:45Speaker 1: It still holds up. He tweeted. This was like watching
- 1:17:49Speaker 1: Game of Thrones the main characters, or without the main character,
- 1:17:56Speaker 1: without John Snow and it's like, this is this is crazy.
- 1:18:03Speaker 1: I don't I don't think people are feeling uh Kamela Harris, Kamala, Harris, Kamela.
- 1:18:09Speaker 1: I don't think they're feeling her less than Natty. They're
- 1:18:11Speaker 1: not feeling Jay Ansley. Yeah, Oh, he's the governor of Washington. Yeah,
- 1:18:16Speaker 1: we don't need nobody who can manage trees. We got this.
- 1:18:20Speaker 1: We trees and fish, we got that cover. We can
- 1:18:25Speaker 1: And why book? We have a volume? Pick it down,
- 1:18:30Speaker 1: get down, take it down, Take it down, Scottie so loud.
- 1:18:36Speaker 1: And here's another question, guys, this had nothing to do
- 1:18:39Speaker 1: with anything, but why was o J tweeting last night
- 1:18:43Speaker 1: during the Listen to this and then we'll discuss a
- 1:18:46Speaker 1: twitter world? Is it my imagination that Yang and Gabbert
- 1:18:51Speaker 1: are the only two who know how to follow the
- 1:18:54Speaker 1: rules of this debate? Well, I tell you what happened.
- 1:18:58Speaker 1: I tell you what happened. I'm just shut up. Oh J,
- 1:19:02Speaker 1: we just to shut him out? O me here from
- 1:19:05Speaker 1: you now? Is it my imagination? You free? They asked
- 1:19:10Speaker 1: OJ if he was going to watch the debates, and
- 1:19:12Speaker 1: he said, I'd take a stab at it. That's what
- 1:19:15Speaker 1: he said. Wow, I believe he got something to say.
- 1:19:21Speaker 1: All right, coming up our last break of the day,
- 1:19:25Speaker 1: and we'll go around the room with Jay's what have
- 1:19:29Speaker 1: we learned today? That's coming up at forty nine minutes
- 1:19:31Speaker 1: after the hour. Right after this, you're listening to Morning show,
- 1:19:37Speaker 1: all right, here we are, guys, our last break of
- 1:19:39Speaker 1: the day. It's been a good day as usual. Good Thursday. Yeah,
- 1:19:45Speaker 1: very good day. He's been great. I've enjoyed my safe day. Yeah,
- 1:19:49Speaker 1: I always have fun. Day of August, first day, yeah,
- 1:19:53Speaker 1: right after right after my birthday. It seems to go
- 1:19:56Speaker 1: like that happy year is gone soon. Yeah. Yeah, Le'm
- 1:20:00Speaker 1: gonna pull these lights out. I cook a full and
- 1:20:05Speaker 1: complete dinner one day of the year. That is Thanksgiving, Christmas. Thanksgiving.
- 1:20:10Speaker 1: You guys, wait, slowdown, slowdown, slowdown, slow down. It's just August.
- 1:20:16Speaker 1: Don't take a city into the year. We're not living
- 1:20:19Speaker 1: in the moment, Carla. Can I just say something, Carlin,
- 1:20:23Speaker 1: when you said that, I thought we did something wrong.
- 1:20:25Speaker 1: So I'm like, what do we do now? Well, I
- 1:20:27Speaker 1: didn't think that. I don't know if she was gonna
- 1:20:28Speaker 1: say that, but I'm just gonna say this. Tomorrow is Christmas, Okay,
- 1:20:33Speaker 1: whether you want, whether you want to believe it or not,
- 1:20:36Speaker 1: it's here. It is, Jay. What I don't believe you
- 1:20:38Speaker 1: cook a fool of meal on things. Everything we've seen,
- 1:20:42Speaker 1: no pitches, everything we do. I think we've never been invited.
- 1:20:47Speaker 1: How much I never been invited? Yeah? I don't like company.
- 1:20:52Speaker 1: Only to you, though, do I say that you don't
- 1:20:55Speaker 1: like company? Well, I don't like company either. I love
- 1:20:58Speaker 1: Jay Jay Carling. Have y'all ever heard sure To say
- 1:21:00Speaker 1: I gotta run by the stove pick up anything? Yeah?
- 1:21:03Speaker 1: You never have heard there, you man? Yeah you heard me.
- 1:21:09Speaker 1: Must be nice that I having assist you had a
- 1:21:12Speaker 1: pool in your backyard. I don't have a pool and
- 1:21:16Speaker 1: a pool I ain't got one called how to get
- 1:21:20Speaker 1: in the pool? But surely that needs your assistant. Heavy
- 1:21:22Speaker 1: but just folded sheep. If I can get that fitted
- 1:21:26Speaker 1: sheep folded, Oh, junior, I can help you with that.
- 1:21:29Speaker 1: I'm the one who make up, you know. I got
- 1:21:31Speaker 1: luke Kimia stop it now. That's that's right. I'm beating
- 1:21:36Speaker 1: it un all right, so um yay. Before we get
- 1:21:41Speaker 1: out of here, you gotta go and do what you
- 1:21:43Speaker 1: do best. Go around the room. You know, all everybody
- 1:21:46Speaker 1: if you listen to the Steve Harby Show lately, and
- 1:21:48Speaker 1: I'm sure you have. At the end of the show,
- 1:21:50Speaker 1: which has always been a great show, were going around
- 1:21:53Speaker 1: in the room and everybody tells us what they learned today.
- 1:21:57Speaker 1: We always start with Sureless Strawberry Show. What you learn today,
- 1:22:01Speaker 1: all right, jay, Um, I guess I learned this that um,
- 1:22:05Speaker 1: we should in order to learn about and to get
- 1:22:09Speaker 1: President Trump out, we need to educate ourselves. We need
- 1:22:12Speaker 1: to find out what's going on in politics. We need
- 1:22:15Speaker 1: to watch these debates now. The night before last Tuesday
- 1:22:19Speaker 1: nights was better than last night's. I will say that
- 1:22:22Speaker 1: it was boring. Last night's debate was kind of boring.
- 1:22:26Speaker 1: But you know, we I mean, we still have to watch.
- 1:22:29Speaker 1: We still gotta watch, whether it's boring, whether it's not.
- 1:22:32Speaker 1: We still have to get involved because we have to
- 1:22:34Speaker 1: know who we're voting for, what they stand for, how
- 1:22:37Speaker 1: they're going to help us, how they're going to move
- 1:22:39Speaker 1: the country forward. We have to you know, we have
- 1:22:41Speaker 1: to get into these things. I know you have other
- 1:22:44Speaker 1: things going on, but take a minute. If you don't
- 1:22:46Speaker 1: get a chance to watch it tonight, you know, recorded
- 1:22:49Speaker 1: and watch it tomorrow, watch it bits and pieces of it,
- 1:22:51Speaker 1: but get involved. Know what's going on in your country.
- 1:22:55Speaker 1: That's what I learned. Yeah, that's good. That's good. And
- 1:22:58Speaker 1: not only listen to what Bob to say. I know
- 1:23:00Speaker 1: we don't like to always watch ye see what they're
- 1:23:03Speaker 1: saying over there. You really need to watch that channel
- 1:23:06Speaker 1: to see what they're saying. I watch a little bit
- 1:23:08Speaker 1: and then I gotta come then youth side, Yeah, yeah,
- 1:23:11Speaker 1: yeah yeah. She both said, all right, what you learned today? Oh?

- 1:23:24Speaker 1: who are in charge of Twitter to shut down one
- 1:23:30Speaker 1: particular account. I want them to shut down. Why does O. J.

- 1:23:54Speaker 1: Is it my imagination that Yang and Gabbert are the
- 1:23:58Speaker 1: only two who know how to follow the rules of
- 1:24:01Speaker 1: this debate. I'm just saying, and I'm just saying, yeah,
- 1:24:07Speaker 1: get off Twitter, world, as you call it. How about this,
- 1:24:11Speaker 1: get off the world? Beat it, beat it, kick rocks. Yeah.
- 1:24:20Speaker 1: When you learn today, I've learned that today. I did
- 1:24:24Speaker 1: poetry lounge today and I found out that there are
- 1:24:26Speaker 1: a few people who hate my poetry. I really found
- 1:24:29Speaker 1: that out. Jay I was I was crushed I'm not
