- 0:00Speaker 1: Today's show is pre recorded. Y'all know what time y'all
- 0:05Speaker 1: don't know. Y'all have a sun giving them like the
- 0:15Speaker 1: million bucks things and it's not true. Good together, Please,
- 0:38Speaker 1: I don't join joining me. You go turning? You're going
- 1:10Speaker 1: to do? You are you gotta turn to turn them out? Turn?
- 1:43Speaker 1: You haven't got to turn them out to turn the
- 1:46Speaker 1: water to the water. Go come come on your thing.
- 2:00Speaker 1: Uh huh. I show will a good morning everybody. You're
- 2:05Speaker 1: listening to the voice, come on dig me now, one
- 2:08Speaker 1: and only Steve Harvey got a radio show, man o
- 2:13Speaker 1: man on man Wow. I think about all the things
- 2:18Speaker 1: God has done for me is overwhelming at times. And
- 2:21Speaker 1: I want everybody to have that feeling and to sharing
- 2:25Speaker 1: that feeling of completion and satisfaction. And the only reason
- 2:29Speaker 1: I got this, and it's the thousandth time I've said it,
- 2:32Speaker 1: is because I formed a relationship with my creator. Period.
- 2:37Speaker 1: That's it. That's it, that's it. I can't tell you
- 2:40Speaker 1: as anything else else. You know, I've always had a
- 2:42Speaker 1: strong work ethic. My father put that in me. My
- 2:46Speaker 1: father's conversations with me growing up was always constantly about
- 2:51Speaker 1: work hard, don't be lazy, be a man, do what
- 2:53Speaker 1: you say you're gonna do. YadA YadA, YadA, YadA YadA. Man.
- 2:57Speaker 1: I was so tired of my father at times. I
- 2:58Speaker 1: was going, Man, what is with this dude? Right here? Man,
- 3:02Speaker 1: every time we have a conversation, it's got to be
- 3:04Speaker 1: about work. It's got to be about, you know, man,
- 3:08Speaker 1: doing your best, trying hard, you know, working, being honest,
- 3:12Speaker 1: do what you say you're gonna do. But that was
- 3:15Speaker 1: his mission. I can't tell you how much I appreciate
- 3:18Speaker 1: that now. I can't even I can't even put it
- 3:22Speaker 1: into words when I think about my old man and
- 3:25Speaker 1: what he was to me, and I just saw, Man,
- 3:30Speaker 1: I'm so grateful for that balance I had in my life.
- 3:33Speaker 1: And then my father was a fighter. He fought on
- 3:36Speaker 1: the weekends. You know. My father used to come home
- 3:41Speaker 1: with his with his clothes toe off of him. He
- 3:44Speaker 1: put a fresh shirt on and he go back. My
- 3:46Speaker 1: mom used to talk about my father fighting all the times, Nick,
- 3:49Speaker 1: why you are always fighting? You know a little bit
- 3:52Speaker 1: of that rubbed off on me too, you know that
- 3:54Speaker 1: that kind of got into me and I didn't understand
- 3:57Speaker 1: that either. But then on the same turn, and my
- 4:00Speaker 1: mother was a Sunday school teacher for forty years, so
- 4:03Speaker 1: her conversation was never about fighting or anything. It was
- 4:06Speaker 1: all about love and understanding and doing another that you
- 4:09Speaker 1: would add them do under you. My mom was a
- 4:11Speaker 1: Sunday school teacher, so I learned about faith. I had
- 4:14Speaker 1: to go to Sunday school, prayer meeting, Bible study, young
- 4:17Speaker 1: people meeting, choir rehearsal. You know, I was a churchman
- 4:21Speaker 1: so much I was actually looking that's got to be
- 4:23Speaker 1: an alternative to this, you know, I want, you know,
- 4:27Speaker 1: And I was a little kid even I was thinking
- 4:29Speaker 1: at one point, maybe all the looking all because it's
- 4:32Speaker 1: got to be something cooler than this going on every day.
- 4:35Speaker 1: It got that crazy for me. But the balance between
- 4:39Speaker 1: those two people created who I am today. And I
- 4:42Speaker 1: want you to understand that the things that you are
- 4:45Speaker 1: in your past have helped create who you are today.
- 4:49Speaker 1: If you view it the right way, everything that has
- 4:54Speaker 1: happened to you in your past has happened to you
- 4:57Speaker 1: for a reason, and it's usually for the good if
- 5:01Speaker 1: you view it that way. But if you, on the
- 5:05Speaker 1: other hand, or a type of person who can't move
- 5:08Speaker 1: forward because you are allowing your past to stop you
- 5:12Speaker 1: from having your future then you, my friend, are doing
- 5:17Speaker 1: a disservice to your life. You are not honoring God's blessings.
- 5:23Speaker 1: You are not taking advantage of the gain, knowledge, wisdom,
- 5:27Speaker 1: and experience of your life. Example, if you are a
- 5:34Speaker 1: woman and you are always talking about a formal relationship,
- 5:41Speaker 1: what he did to me. If he had not did
- 5:44Speaker 1: this to me, I wouldn't be in this place today.
- 5:49Speaker 1: I thought I had a man. Nah, I ain't got
- 5:52Speaker 1: no man a la la la la la. If you know,
- 5:58Speaker 1: he came along and I was and just swell, he
- 6:01Speaker 1: just came in and he just lied to me. He
- 6:05Speaker 1: lied to me. Now that he did this to me,
- 6:07Speaker 1: Then he cheated, then he left. All of that that
- 6:11Speaker 1: you're saying can very well be true. Have you thought
- 6:17Speaker 1: that maybe maybe somewhere in God's infinite wisdom, that he
- 6:25Speaker 1: knew that you had made a mistake in picking him anyway?
- 6:31Speaker 1: Maybe he knew you had made a mistake in saying
- 6:34Speaker 1: yes or I do to him anyway, or come on
- 6:38Speaker 1: move in? And so what he did was based on
- 6:45Speaker 1: your decision now to say yes, I do or come
- 6:48Speaker 1: on let's move in together. That was your decisions. You
- 6:51Speaker 1: ain't go to him about this one. You made this decision.
- 6:55Speaker 1: Based on that decision and all the negative things that
- 6:59Speaker 1: start that happening, he allowed you to get away from it.
- 7:04Speaker 1: Now how you got away from it, It's always not
- 7:07Speaker 1: the choice of ours. See you stuck on the fact
- 7:11Speaker 1: that he left, that he walked out. But let me
- 7:14Speaker 1: share this with you. When he was there, How good
- 7:17Speaker 1: was he to you? How good was he for you? See,
- 7:21Speaker 1: you got to you got to stare. You got to
- 7:23Speaker 1: look at the blessing. The blessing is. Now you are
- 7:27Speaker 1: on your own. Now you walk in your house. Ain't
- 7:31Speaker 1: nobody in there with a disruptive spirit. Now you go home.
- 7:35Speaker 1: You can take your clothes off, walk around like you
- 7:37Speaker 1: want to. Now you go home, you can sit down
- 7:41Speaker 1: and look at TV or catch your breath if you
- 7:44Speaker 1: want to. Your kids don't have to see y'all arguing
- 7:49Speaker 1: all the time. Have you looked at the blessing in it?
- 7:53Speaker 1: But now, if you're gonna keep looking at the negative,
- 7:55Speaker 1: then guess what. Now you can't move forward because you
- 8:01Speaker 1: keep allowing your pass to keep you from moving forward.
- 8:05Speaker 1: If God has brought you through it, why don't you
- 8:09Speaker 1: move on from it? Look, you got through it. He gone,
- 8:13Speaker 1: He ain't coming back, He got somebody else, So you're
- 8:17Speaker 1: gonna sit there and just keep tripping costs. He gone
- 8:19Speaker 1: and he got somebody else. Ain't pick yourself up. Thank
- 8:24Speaker 1: God for the blessing. It didn't feel like a blessing.
- 8:27Speaker 1: Why you was going through it, and all the pain
- 8:30Speaker 1: of him leaving and the divorce and all that messed
- 8:33Speaker 1: you up? Got it when you get through it, all
- 8:35Speaker 1: of that. You ain't the first one being left. You
- 8:38Speaker 1: ain't the first woman been divorced. You ain't the first
- 8:41Speaker 1: one been in a bad relationship. Pick yourself up, Thank
- 8:45Speaker 1: God for the blessing, and move forward in your life,
- 8:49Speaker 1: because maybe when you quit complaining, maybe you'll find out
- 8:53Speaker 1: that God has something in store for you that he
- 8:57Speaker 1: wants you to have, but he can't give it to
- 8:59Speaker 1: you if you ain't grateful. So God gives you a blessing,
- 9:03Speaker 1: but because you don't see it as a blessing, you
- 9:06Speaker 1: ain't grateful for it. Now, guess what, You steady asking
- 9:10Speaker 1: God to do something for you, but you ain't thanking
- 9:12Speaker 1: him for what he's done for you, but you steady
- 9:15Speaker 1: wanting him to do more. How does that work? How
- 9:19Speaker 1: does that work? Man? That he should keep on giving
- 9:22Speaker 1: you things when you ain't even working with the stuff
- 9:24Speaker 1: he didn't gave you. And I don't know, and I'm
- 9:28Speaker 1: just I'm just using that one example. It could go
- 9:30Speaker 1: for me and too, vice versa, and so on and
- 9:33Speaker 1: so far. I'm just using that as an example. Now
- 9:36Speaker 1: why I laid on that one so long? You take
- 9:39Speaker 1: that out with God? That's all just three. I ain't
- 9:41Speaker 1: pointing fingers that nobody in nothing because I've been guilty
- 9:45Speaker 1: on both sides of the coin. Who am I? But
- 9:48Speaker 1: I'm just sharing with you what I had to do.
- 9:51Speaker 1: I had to learn to stop allowing my past to
- 9:54Speaker 1: interfere with my future. You're ladies and gentlemen. He did it.
- 10:04Speaker 1: Look at God? He did it another day? Who else
- 10:08Speaker 1: can do that? Tell me? Who else can create a
- 10:13Speaker 1: whole another day? Who ready? Go? God? Okay, here got
- 10:20Speaker 1: another shot for all you nonbelievers and everybody else? Who
- 10:23Speaker 1: else can create another day? On three? Goal? One two three?
- 10:28Speaker 1: Steal God? Okay, that's what I thought. Yeah, that's exactly
- 10:32Speaker 1: what I thought. He did it again. Man, he did
- 10:36Speaker 1: it again. I've celebrated sixty six years. Man, it's after that,
- 10:42Speaker 1: so now I can really talk about it. Here was
- 10:44Speaker 1: my workout to celebrate my sixty sixth year on Earth.
- 10:51Speaker 1: This is what my trainer did. I had to do
- 10:56Speaker 1: thirty three squads mhmm, thirty three curls. Okay, that's sixty six.
- 11:08Speaker 1: No no, no, no, you do not. You not listen
- 11:10Speaker 1: to stay with me. You had about to do. Okay,
- 11:14Speaker 1: just listen to us. And I don't need a rithmetip.
- 11:17Speaker 1: I'm gonna show you this tricky dead that's what I thought.
- 11:19Speaker 1: It was too exactly what you're doing. One off, I
- 11:23Speaker 1: had to do thirty thirty three plio balls where you
- 11:30Speaker 1: you know that big ball that's in the gym, put
- 11:32Speaker 1: your elbows on it in a plank position and extend
- 11:35Speaker 1: your elbows out and back. Thirty three of those, Okay,
- 11:41Speaker 1: and let me pull it up so I don't miss nothing.
- 11:43Speaker 1: I don't want to show y'all what I did for
- 11:45Speaker 1: my thirty for my thirty third, and then I had
- 11:49Speaker 1: to do sixty six thirty three seated overhead shoulder presses.
- 11:58Speaker 1: And then I had to burn thirty three calories on
- 12:02Speaker 1: an air bike. The air bike gets the bike that
- 12:05Speaker 1: you paddle and your handles moved back and forth. At
- 12:07Speaker 1: the same time, I had to burn thirty three calories
- 12:11Speaker 1: on that thirty three squads, thirty three wing curls, thirty
- 12:16Speaker 1: three plio ball reaches one two three and I had
- 12:20Speaker 1: to do that two rounds, so that made sixty six
- 12:25Speaker 1: reps of each exercise. That was my workout. That was
- 12:31Speaker 1: what he had me do. That was his way of
- 12:35Speaker 1: honoring God for allowing God to have him a job
- 12:40Speaker 1: working for me. And this is how he thanked God.
- 12:47Speaker 1: This was not my idea. I said, well, and that
- 12:54Speaker 1: was it. That's how I celebrated with bike. If God
- 12:59Speaker 1: could give me that kind gumption and strength to do
- 13:02Speaker 1: that type of stuff at sixty six, I take it.
- 13:05Speaker 1: Thank you having a father. Yeah, man, I appreciate it.
- 13:09Speaker 1: Thank you Lord, Thank you Lord of the six year olds.
- 13:13Speaker 1: I know I don't see him like this. I send
- 13:16Speaker 1: it to my dudes in my group. They said, man,
- 13:18Speaker 1: shut up line. You ain't got to lie create man, man,
- 13:25Speaker 1: shut up line. Steve Harvey, Marty show Man, healthy morning anything,
- 13:34Speaker 1: all of us. Grateful man, Thank you Lord, appreciate Yeah.
- 13:37Speaker 1: All right, coming up at thirty two minutes after the
- 13:39Speaker 1: hour and the nephew and run that prank back right
- 13:42Speaker 1: after this. You're listening to show. It is time now
- 13:47Speaker 1: to start your morning off with the nephew and run
- 13:49Speaker 1: that frank back. What you got for us neft today? Well,
- 13:53Speaker 1: you know, you know there's a lot of people do
- 13:55Speaker 1: some creeping out there year that does a lot of
- 13:57Speaker 1: folks do creeping. But sometimes times you do not realize
- 14:01Speaker 1: that the pastor does a little creep into this here
- 14:05Speaker 1: here is creeping past, the creeping past cat dog. If
- 14:15Speaker 1: you play so, I'm trying to be speaking, you got him?
- 14:26Speaker 1: How you trying? I'm doing it? I ain't doing too good.
- 14:29Speaker 1: You've been over there praying for my wife again, right
- 14:32Speaker 1: right right, yes, sir, you came over here three times
- 14:36Speaker 1: in one week. My wife had already went through the
- 14:39Speaker 1: operation and all that she's gonna be fine. I don't
- 14:42Speaker 1: need you over a praying three times a week, because, honestly,
- 14:45Speaker 1: I think it's so. I think it's something else on
- 14:47Speaker 1: your mind when you come over here praying for my wife.
- 14:49Speaker 1: I ain't stupid, brother. You kind of hold it, brother,
- 14:53Speaker 1: This bloody, this is well. Your wife was on the
- 14:59Speaker 1: sick and shot lift. Rever actually to come by. Revere
- 15:03Speaker 1: Man requested that I come by, Okay, he ain't requested
- 15:07Speaker 1: for you to bring your blacks to my house for
- 15:09Speaker 1: no damn three times in one week, man, So you
- 15:11Speaker 1: can cut that boy down with me. You can cut
- 15:14Speaker 1: that bull holder. Brother. I came with sister Georgia the
- 15:19Speaker 1: first time. The second time I came by myself because
- 15:22Speaker 1: she wasn't able to come by, and I only stayed
- 15:25Speaker 1: fifteen men, he's time. So what's the problem because I
- 15:29Speaker 1: already know what you what you doing? I know you're
- 15:31Speaker 1: trying to holly my wife. I ain't shooting. How put
- 15:33Speaker 1: your wife? I heard a wife? Why would I happen
- 15:36Speaker 1: to your wife? She's part of already know what you
- 15:39Speaker 1: already know what you're doing. Man, you up in her
- 15:42Speaker 1: my white wine, wine whine, nobody at the house. I
- 15:44Speaker 1: already know what you're doing. Let me tell you something.
- 15:46Speaker 1: Keep your black away from my damn house. Did you
- 15:49Speaker 1: want to pray for my wife? And wait? You ain't wait? Man, Oh,
- 15:55Speaker 1: you can't talk to you about lay hand. That's what
- 16:00Speaker 1: you're going now, brother, ain't gonna be none of that,
- 16:02Speaker 1: and ain't gonna be none of that. You're talking to
- 16:04Speaker 1: the wrong brother. Now okay, Now, first of all, you're
- 16:07Speaker 1: not gonna disrespect me and curse me out. Okay, that's
- 16:11Speaker 1: not even the way brothers should be talking to brothers.
- 16:14Speaker 1: Second of all, if there's any laying on the hands,
- 16:16Speaker 1: it's gonna be my hands laying on you. Okay, you
- 16:19Speaker 1: ain't from the LAS, you ain't feel the lady I'm
- 16:22Speaker 1: trying to lay on my wife. If I find out
- 16:24Speaker 1: what man you know not you mess around with my wife,
- 16:27Speaker 1: it's gonna be, I know, trying to do crazy. I'm
- 16:31Speaker 1: just looking. I'm gonna say it one most time. Keep
- 16:34Speaker 1: your black stop around my First of all, I told
- 16:38Speaker 1: you once again you can't be talking to me like that.
- 16:41Speaker 1: Now I'm trying to be cool about the situation because
- 16:44Speaker 1: I know you may be just upset. Okay, I can
- 16:47Speaker 1: appreciate that. Okay, I have a wife, and I'll be
- 16:50Speaker 1: upset if somebody's coming back to my wife. Won't you
- 16:52Speaker 1: won't show out what your wife. I do stand my
- 16:55Speaker 1: time with my wife. I do you know what I'm saying,
- 16:58Speaker 1: nobody house, Maybe I don't come out your house and
- 17:02Speaker 1: how let your wife? Are you welcome to maybe come
- 17:06Speaker 1: come and come lay something over there on? Huh? God?
- 17:09Speaker 1: Not do holder, Holy one man, Holy one man, I
- 17:15Speaker 1: told you before being disrespectful. Now, that was a very
- 17:19Speaker 1: idiotic statement for you to make. Okay, that's what's gonna happen.
- 17:23Speaker 1: If I kipt your black said my house again, I'm
- 17:26Speaker 1: gonna play this man, and then I'm getting on the
- 17:28Speaker 1: phone with you. You, your pastors, any more of them,
- 17:30Speaker 1: because if anybody come by my house again and I
- 17:33Speaker 1: ain't there, I'm kicking your black. Got a promise, you know,
- 17:39Speaker 1: Just that's it. Look here, brother, if that's gonna be
- 17:42Speaker 1: any that's whooping going on, I'm gonna be kicking your
- 17:46Speaker 1: I'm gonna lay my hands on you and I'm gonna
- 17:48Speaker 1: give you a good, sanctified whooping. And then I'm gonna
- 17:52Speaker 1: pray for you. I'm gonna pray to heal you by
- 17:55Speaker 1: this put I'm gonna put up your okay, because I've
- 17:58Speaker 1: had it with you, you know. And I only went
- 18:01Speaker 1: by this to visit your wife because I was asked
- 18:03Speaker 1: to go visit your wife. Now that was a problem
- 18:05Speaker 1: you should have caused a pastor. Okay, when you're not
- 18:08Speaker 1: going to disrespect me my wife to church on the phone.
- 18:10Speaker 1: Life you want to do somebody, you can meet me
- 18:13Speaker 1: any place. Why I've been man, you know, as a
- 18:15Speaker 1: matter of fact, I can go anywhere I want it
- 18:17Speaker 1: in this town. If I be at your house talking
- 18:19Speaker 1: to your wife, if the path asked me to go,
- 18:22Speaker 1: I'm gonna be there. Okay, how you you know? You
- 18:25Speaker 1: just you know. It's just a stupid brother. Okay, you
- 18:28Speaker 1: need to come to church to you the one. You
- 18:32Speaker 1: need to come to church more off. And that's the problem.
- 18:35Speaker 1: You don't come to church more off. And if you
- 18:37Speaker 1: come to church more off, you wouldn't be talking to
- 18:39Speaker 1: me like that. You wouldn't be worried about me and
- 18:41Speaker 1: your wife because it must be something wrong at your house.
- 18:44Speaker 1: You'd be worried about me fooling with your wife. Okay,
- 18:48Speaker 1: so you need to check hut. Okay, you need to
- 18:50Speaker 1: check her. How about that? Why don't you do that?
- 18:52Speaker 1: Why don't you Why don't you just check hup? Okay?
- 18:55Speaker 1: Comment fear you the one that's cheating with my wife?
- 18:58Speaker 1: That's all I know? Who Tommy Harmy say you Tommy
- 19:03Speaker 1: the one? Tommy said, you're the one that's cheating around
- 19:06Speaker 1: with my wife. Tommy Who? Who is Tommy? Tommy who?
- 19:14Speaker 1: This is a nephew, Tommy man, this is never your Tommy.
- 19:18Speaker 1: From Steve Harby Morton show man, your church member Laurence
- 19:23Speaker 1: got me to pray ball but not long for that.

- 19:37Speaker 1: know I ain't gonna stout signs. You know I'm gonna go.

- 19:44Speaker 1: brothers and nephew, Tommy, Steve Harvey, brother Lawrence is wrong
- 19:48Speaker 1: for that. Okay, I'm gonna check him. I'm gonna check out.
- 19:53Speaker 1: I'm couldn't go. I don't talk to you on the moment.
- 19:56Speaker 1: I'm praying. I'm gonna say, brother, brother, your go. Man.
- 20:01Speaker 1: You gotta tell me what's the baddest radio show with
- 20:03Speaker 1: the lab bad Steve Harvey Martin the show on that
- 20:07Speaker 1: on that slide all the way to Hell. I'm gonna go.
- 20:09Speaker 1: I talk to you all later. Bye. Did he creep?
- 20:17Speaker 1: Did he say he didn't creep? But did he creep?

- 21:44Speaker 1: ask the Chief Love Officer, Steve Harvey the clo. Here
- 21:49Speaker 1: we go. Wanda and Newark says, my divorce was final
- 21:53Speaker 1: five months ago and my ex is already moved on.
- 21:56Speaker 1: I found out that he proposed to a new woman
- 21:58Speaker 1: and they're having a small way on Valentine's Day. If
- 22:02Speaker 1: this is why he wanted to divorce me, why didn't
- 22:05Speaker 1: he just say that? Well? What difference? Do it? Right?
- 22:10Speaker 1: You all have the divorce, it's over. What do you
- 22:14Speaker 1: mean if this is why? Yeah, you know what, let's
- 22:16Speaker 1: let's clear something up about divorce for everybody out there
- 22:19Speaker 1: is trying to play like victim and all this hell.
- 22:22Speaker 1: Listen to me. When the court gives you your divorce date,
- 22:27Speaker 1: that's the date that they legally are no longer marriage,
- 22:32Speaker 1: no longer marriage. Your marriage has been over long before that. Now.
- 22:38Speaker 1: Can we all just agree with that Your marriage ain't
- 22:42Speaker 1: over when the court say it's over. Your marriage has
- 22:45Speaker 1: been over long before the date. Some problems. Yeah, so
- 22:50Speaker 1: this he getting married in February. Y'all been messed up
- 22:54Speaker 1: for two years now. Yeah. I guess she's probably saying,
- 23:01Speaker 1: you know, so quick it was. It's not quick. Y'all's
- 23:06Speaker 1: marriage has been over for a few years now, that's
- 23:08Speaker 1: why you got a divorce. M All right, so Wanda,
- 23:13Speaker 1: you need to move on. It's basically what you're gone yellow. Yeah,
- 23:17Speaker 1: why didn't he tell me? Tell you what? Okay? Yeah?
- 23:23Speaker 1: All right? Moving on to Raina in Baton Rouge, Raina says,
- 23:27Speaker 1: my boyfriend and I work together, and I'm starting to
- 23:29Speaker 1: think he's dating me. So he'll have a ride to
- 23:32Speaker 1: work during lunch. He's always with the guys we work with,
- 23:36Speaker 1: and he doesn't talk to me until it's time to
- 23:38Speaker 1: go home. We may have sex after work if he
- 23:41Speaker 1: wants to, but never when I ask, is he using
- 23:44Speaker 1: me for a ride or what for? Ride? For a
- 23:47Speaker 1: ride in sex? Yeah? Yeah, yeah, for a ride and
- 23:55Speaker 1: sex to hear you were about to ride for He
- 23:58Speaker 1: don't talk to you when you get right, m Then
- 24:02Speaker 1: after work is it have sex if he want to
- 24:04Speaker 1: now when you want to. You're being used for the
- 24:06Speaker 1: ride and for sex. But what yeah, and the ride
- 24:13Speaker 1: is secondary. So I don't know why you wrote this
- 24:15Speaker 1: question about this damn ride. He can ob come on now,
- 24:24Speaker 1: right man? If you made him uber, you'd probably be
- 24:28Speaker 1: out of sex. Yeah yeah, all right, Raina, it's on
- 24:35Speaker 1: you now. Next move all right. Moving on to Jury
- 24:39Speaker 1: and Roanoke, Jury, Jury says I've been married for two years,
- 24:44Speaker 1: and my husband has changed since we got married. He
- 24:47Speaker 1: doesn't look me in the eye or kiss me anymore
- 24:49Speaker 1: while we're being intimate. It feels like we are not
- 24:52Speaker 1: connected anymore. It's this to be expected after a few years. No, No,
- 25:00Speaker 1: your man quit looking at you and stop kissing it
- 25:02Speaker 1: because he don't want to. That ain't, ye man, Just
- 25:10Speaker 1: after two years they're still newly wed. No, it ain't. Not.
- 25:14Speaker 1: Junior is still kissing your absolutely kissing. God, but it
- 25:18Speaker 1: ain't even been six months. It ain't Junior is a
- 25:22Speaker 1: newly wed. Yeah, yes, absolutely, but because married two years,
- 25:27Speaker 1: you are not a newly wed. You're only wed. Even
- 25:32Speaker 1: a baby after two years you quit doing them damn months.
- 25:37Speaker 1: But he's still a baby. It's still a baby though,
- 25:40Speaker 1: well he not twenty nine months old. It's what I'm saying. Yeah, toddler,
- 25:48Speaker 1: he's a toddler. You have an issue with the new
- 25:51Speaker 1: two years. That ain't what the letters about you the man.
- 25:57Speaker 1: The man ain't kissing her, and the man ain't looking her. No,
- 26:01Speaker 1: no eye contact. As a say, look, yeah, you don't
- 26:06Speaker 1: worry about But I'm just saying the relationship is still
- 26:11Speaker 1: fairly new. For him to shut all that down so
- 26:14Speaker 1: quickly in the relationship, in the marriage. So, now, can
- 26:18Speaker 1: I ask a question, if you're basing it on the
- 26:20Speaker 1: amount of time, ask you a question, very simple questions.
- 26:24Speaker 1: At what year in the marriage is it okay not
- 26:27Speaker 1: to get kissed in the mouth and not to get
- 26:29Speaker 1: looking year? I just need to know what year that is? Year? Yeah,
- 26:35Speaker 1: so so soon when the cutoff happens, it happens, right,
- 26:40Speaker 1: it's still painful, that's right. There's no rule for this. Oh,
- 26:45Speaker 1: he not kissing you in the mouth and looking you
- 26:48Speaker 1: in the eye norm because he don't want to. He's
- 26:52Speaker 1: looking upside when they're while they're intimate, but he's still
- 26:55Speaker 1: being intimate with her. Yeah, see you looking at it
- 26:59Speaker 1: though when they do when they intimate, he is not
- 27:02Speaker 1: making eye contact with the silver lining. Is they still
- 27:05Speaker 1: doing it? So that's good, that's him look at you again. Yeah, eventually, ladies,
- 27:15Speaker 1: what kind of man? I didn't want to introduce y'all
- 27:18Speaker 1: to those two viewpoints, and y'all kept pushing though, y'all
- 27:24Speaker 1: kept pushing. Yeah, I said, all right, now I'm gonna
- 27:26Speaker 1: let the dogs loose. Okay, okay, I'm gonna let you
- 27:31Speaker 1: hear from the male species, and it ain't gonna be cute.
- 27:36Speaker 1: When they started talking a minute ago, it wasn't good
- 27:40Speaker 1: enough when I said, he don't want to know more
- 27:44Speaker 1: then you found out. Just keep doing it till he
- 27:47Speaker 1: do start looking at you. Now, I hate to put
- 27:50Speaker 1: that on you. Then the other one. You know, at
- 27:54Speaker 1: least he's still doing it. You keep talking, best around,
- 27:59Speaker 1: you gonna get done. God? Yeah, what you say, junior?
- 28:05Speaker 1: Stop yo? Complain? Yeah? Man, what pressure you want? Walk?
- 28:11Speaker 1: All right? That's terrible. It's just it just how I'm sorry.
- 28:19Speaker 1: I don't know what to tell y'all. Yeah, you know
- 28:22Speaker 1: want all right? No, it ain't that he don't want huh,
- 28:27Speaker 1: he don't want to do that no more. You know
- 28:33Speaker 1: it didn't hit him. It's the same thing. Listen to me.
- 28:39Speaker 1: It's like, for example, not saying this applies to all women,
- 28:42Speaker 1: but at one point some people don't care about fixing
- 28:47Speaker 1: Theirselfshupe no more. I'm just saying so at what year
- 28:52Speaker 1: in the marriage is that? Okay? But I'm just saying
- 28:57Speaker 1: you right now, in twenty three in the marriage cut up,
- 29:02Speaker 1: you have stopped doing what you did sitting around the
- 29:06Speaker 1: house wearing on and more clothes and hunting out, fitched
- 29:10Speaker 1: nothing here. I come home and I don't know you
- 29:13Speaker 1: would have Bandanna owned that you and and and and
- 29:16Speaker 1: a manches coff and cold cream and cute crumbs on
- 29:20Speaker 1: your eye. Coming up at the top of the hour.
- 29:25Speaker 1: Thank you. See we'll have some entertainment news for you
- 29:28Speaker 1: right after this. You're listening to morning show. So Steve,
- 29:35Speaker 1: what did you do on your birthday? How was it sixties? Well?
- 29:39Speaker 1: I worked out? Uh uh huh? I ate healthy? Oh
- 29:46Speaker 1: what do you eat? Yeah? All day. I'm trying to
- 29:49Speaker 1: stay on my little program. But I did have my
- 29:52Speaker 1: German chocolate cake. Okay, all right, you did something fun? Well,
- 29:59Speaker 1: I told my nutritious iety just one slice? Uh huh,
- 30:04Speaker 1: but I had half. I had half the cake. I
- 30:07Speaker 1: was gonna say, did you eat the whole cake? Wait
- 30:09Speaker 1: a minute, so healthy is over? You know I was
- 30:14Speaker 1: eating healthy, So you know I just wanted folks slices?
- 30:18Speaker 1: Whoa and did you did you drink it? Eat it
- 30:21Speaker 1: with milk or ice cream? I have some almond milk, okay,
- 30:26Speaker 1: we want and coffee with another one? And then I
- 30:36Speaker 1: had my elevate you in the morning. But hold on, no,
- 30:39Speaker 1: see because see right there. Yeah, you got it. This morning,
- 30:43Speaker 1: it rebuilt. I got that canst. I'm waiting on this
- 30:46Speaker 1: doctor to finish doing what they doing because I'm doing
- 30:48Speaker 1: blood work today. So I make sure i'll stay here
- 30:51Speaker 1: long because I can get to sixty seven. Yeah, but
- 30:55Speaker 1: I had to do it on the fastest stomach. So
- 30:58Speaker 1: I got my little elevate cans right here. Okay, I'm
- 31:01Speaker 1: gonna do my elevate you after that. And then I
- 31:04Speaker 1: had birthday and my daughter, Brandy was the only child
- 31:07Speaker 1: that bought me anything. Thank you, Brandy. Trifling ass children,
- 31:15Speaker 1: ragging ass, non thoughtful, you know what, you know what.
- 31:19Speaker 1: But then when their birthday come up. You know, hey, daddy,
- 31:22Speaker 1: I want to take a you know, I want to
- 31:24Speaker 1: go and get all this. I'm gonna get me a
- 31:27Speaker 1: sweet and I want a destination vacation. Can you help out.
- 31:31Speaker 1: I'd appreciate it. You know, it's my twenty fifth, it's
- 31:33Speaker 1: my thirtieth, it's all this here. Hey yeah, yeah, that
- 31:36Speaker 1: ain't happening no more so. But you're hard to buy
- 31:40Speaker 1: for it. I mean, you have everything. What could they
- 31:43Speaker 1: buy you? Dry me another lighter? You can buy me
- 31:46Speaker 1: a cold lighter. You know you can buy me some
- 31:48Speaker 1: nice stuff and stuff like you know, they know the
- 31:50Speaker 1: stuff they can get, you know, an old last pair
- 31:54Speaker 1: of slippers or something, you know for the house. You
- 31:57Speaker 1: know you ain't gotta do nothing. You know, they know
- 31:59Speaker 1: what's sigurd collection looked like, ain't hard if I everything,
- 32:03Speaker 1: ain't got to be a cuban. You're looking at no effort,
- 32:06Speaker 1: that's what you look at. Yeah, yeah, so like you
- 32:09Speaker 1: were living a healthy birthday life. That's what I was
- 32:13Speaker 1: until I hate them, hate that half cake, you know,
- 32:15Speaker 1: and then I felt healthy. You know they didn't. You
- 32:17Speaker 1: didn't do nothing to me. You know, it made me
- 32:19Speaker 1: look sleepy after that. Their slice look like a baby hit,
- 32:25Speaker 1: a little hit, a little baby sugar have. But you
- 32:28Speaker 1: know I had like I had that moment of energy
- 32:30Speaker 1: and then I got real still. You know, hey, I
- 32:32Speaker 1: got and spent. I bought myself, I bought my Margie
- 32:41Speaker 1: laid me out, give me some nice little guilts, some
- 32:44Speaker 1: stuff I wanted, a couple of tops. I was looking
- 32:47Speaker 1: at shoes, shoes I saw, but they didn't have my size.
- 32:52Speaker 1: She made them get it in so that laid me out.
- 32:54Speaker 1: I was nice with that. Brandy got me a nice gilt.
- 32:58Speaker 1: Like I said, the rest of them, try for the
- 33:00Speaker 1: ass kids. Uh you know which I'm saying on the radio.
- 33:03Speaker 1: And I hope he get back to him. And man,
- 33:06Speaker 1: your dad was a radio telling about how trifing y'all
- 33:09Speaker 1: was XEP for Brandy. Why do you do that? Brandy?
- 33:16Speaker 1: I ain't getting mad at brand when she ain't the
- 33:19Speaker 1: one you want to get mad at. I tell you
- 33:21Speaker 1: all of them sing, all of them scared of Brandy.
- 33:25Speaker 1: So yeah, you know, they had a little part at
- 33:28Speaker 1: the house for me too, uh you know, some things whatever.
- 33:31Speaker 1: So it was pretty nice. I bought myself a birthday gilt,
- 33:34Speaker 1: first time I've ever bought myself a birthday guilt ever. Really, yeah,
- 33:39Speaker 1: what you buy? I'm not gonna say it on the
- 33:41Speaker 1: air about up. I don't want know how. I'm scared
- 33:48Speaker 1: of water, black people, year of water. You're trying to
- 33:55Speaker 1: tell me I can't drive off? Oh something happening. I
- 34:03Speaker 1: can't drive off? What you mean? The boat came loose? Yeah,
- 34:10Speaker 1: it was just a yeah, great thing, man, great, Yeah,
- 34:16Speaker 1: it felt really wonderful. Man. That workout was extreme, a
- 34:19Speaker 1: bit much, you know, yeah, thirty three yeah, two rounds,
- 34:25Speaker 1: so everything was sixty six interesting the way he did that.
- 34:29Speaker 1: I didn't think it was fascinating after the first round
- 34:31Speaker 1: because that first round I was done. You had achieve
- 34:37Speaker 1: thirty three raps, yeah, I mean, you know, because like
- 34:40Speaker 1: to me, thirty three If that's ten rep, ten squats,
- 34:44Speaker 1: three sets, that's thirty Yeah. I don't even know what
- 34:47Speaker 1: the extra three four. But we're gonna put them all together,
- 34:49Speaker 1: you know, you do. You had to do them right.
- 34:52Speaker 1: But you know, like I get the fifteen and stop,
- 34:54Speaker 1: I get the twenty four and it cut off again.
- 34:56Speaker 1: You know, body, just you know, that's that's a hard beating.
- 34:59Speaker 1: But I did it successful. God is good, you know,
- 35:04Speaker 1: and all the time. God is good, and God is
- 35:06Speaker 1: good all the time. And I'm a living testament. So
- 35:09Speaker 1: on what, let's get it on with twenty twenty three.
- 35:11Speaker 1: See what God got from me. I'm looking forward to
- 35:13Speaker 1: everything in full expectation. I expect great things to happen.
- 35:18Speaker 1: I fully recovered from everything that went wrong in twenty
- 35:21Speaker 1: twenty two, and I'm fully responded and receiving everything I
- 35:26Speaker 1: accomplished in twenty twenty two. So I feel great about it. Man,
- 35:31Speaker 1: all right, that's nothing that happened to me in twenty
- 35:33Speaker 1: twenty two. I ain't over nothing. You left that in
- 35:38Speaker 1: twenty twenty two. Huh everything that was in twenty twenty two,
- 35:41Speaker 1: I'm over that done. Yeah yeah yeah, New Year, Knew Year,
- 35:45Speaker 1: I like it. In twenty twenty three, Timmy has discovered
- 35:48Speaker 1: a new toy on his computer. Now zoom feel he's
- 35:53Speaker 1: in front of a lava slide. All what the hill?
- 36:01Speaker 1: Coming up? In twenty minutes after the hour is San
- 36:04Speaker 1: Francisco considering a plan to give five million dollars to
- 36:09Speaker 1: each eligible black person for reparations. What we'll talk about
- 36:14Speaker 1: it right after this you're listening to the Stave Harvey
- 36:18Speaker 1: Morning Show. Well, guys, as we get close to Black
- 36:21Speaker 1: History Months in February, here's some trending. Here's some trending
- 36:25Speaker 1: news out of California. San Francisco Reparations Committee proposes that
- 36:29Speaker 1: each long term black resident received five million dollars in reparations.
- 36:35Speaker 1: The committee claims a five million dollar payment would remedy
- 36:38Speaker 1: any economic and opportunity losses that black San Francisco residents
- 36:43Speaker 1: have endured over the years. These seven figures payday will
- 36:48Speaker 1: be viewed as forgiveness due to the decades of systematic
- 36:52Speaker 1: repression based by the local black community. Of course, of course,
- 36:56Speaker 1: of course, there's always a hater among us, and this
- 37:00Speaker 1: now comes in the form of Florida Republican representative Byron Donald's,
- 37:05Speaker 1: who is a brother. Donald slammed the city of San
- 37:07Speaker 1: Francisco's new reparations proposal. Representative Donald said on Fox News, quote,
- 37:13Speaker 1: San Francisco's reparations proposal is catently unfair and nothing but
- 37:18Speaker 1: a distraction to cover for the incompetence of local democratic leadership.
- 37:24Speaker 1: Rather than focusing on lowering the cost of living, a
- 37:27Speaker 1: historic homelessness crisis, the opioid epidemic, or even the record
- 37:31Speaker 1: levels of crime plaguing their city, San Francisco's Democratic city
- 37:35Speaker 1: leadership would rather divide their constituents further under a pretense
- 37:40Speaker 1: of racial equality. Now that was a mouthful. A brother said, yeah,
- 37:46Speaker 1: from the local herschel Walker in Florida, why are you
- 37:54Speaker 1: worried about? Yeah, they're not gonna listen. And I hope
- 38:00Speaker 1: it's true. I wish it that true, that they would
- 38:03Speaker 1: do some form of reparation. I've never fought for reparations
- 38:07Speaker 1: because I just don't believe in my heart that there's
- 38:12Speaker 1: no way this country will, first of all, even admit
- 38:18Speaker 1: to the injustice that has been done. They trying to
- 38:22Speaker 1: get it out of classroom teaching, school books, history books
- 38:25Speaker 1: and everything and turn over some money. I a million dollars,
- 38:31Speaker 1: not this country, not this country. And so I hope
- 38:35Speaker 1: San Francisco does set that example. And I would be
- 38:39Speaker 1: hard pressed to see who follows that. Now, as far
- 38:42Speaker 1: as the black guys speaking up, it's atypical. I always nothing,
- 38:48Speaker 1: nothing is more valuable to the Conservative Party than to
- 38:53Speaker 1: find a black person to do their bidding. There is
- 38:57Speaker 1: nothing more valuable to speak up where they don't have
- 39:01Speaker 1: to sound racist, but they can exact all the racial
- 39:05Speaker 1: statements coming out of the mouth of a black person.
- 39:08Speaker 1: That's the sad thing about us. Man. Fine, how we
- 39:13Speaker 1: stand and we crab in the bell. We can't let
- 39:16Speaker 1: nobody get out the bell instead of talking about the
- 39:19Speaker 1: opio crisis and poverty. You don't think you don't think
- 39:22Speaker 1: the five could fix a lot of that povert Okay,
- 39:25Speaker 1: that's right, that's what I got news for you. Five.
- 39:30Speaker 1: Or fix a whole lot of crime too, because all
- 39:33Speaker 1: of a sudden there is no half none. But you
- 39:35Speaker 1: know that's all right. We'll see what happens coming up
- 39:40Speaker 1: at thirty four minutes after the hour. We're gonna check
- 39:42Speaker 1: Steve's voicemail right after this. You're listening, it is time
- 39:49Speaker 1: now to check Steve's voicemail. And if you want to
- 39:52Speaker 1: leave a message for Steve, all you have to do
- 39:54Speaker 1: is call eight seven seven twenty nine Steve. Eight seven
- 39:57Speaker 1: seven twenty nine Steve, Steve, you have some belated birthday
- 40:00Speaker 1: wishes and etc. You're ready, Let's take this call from

- 40:12Speaker 1: wish you a happy birthday. And you said something on
- 40:15Speaker 1: your show today about something that you saved for affirmation
- 40:19Speaker 1: twenty times a day. I miss that. Is it possible
- 40:22Speaker 1: that you can repeat that on the show? Thanks God, Blast,
- 40:26Speaker 1: and I love your show. I love you and everything
- 40:28Speaker 1: about the inspirations and that you do, you know and
- 40:31Speaker 1: in the mornings and your inspiration that you do at
- 40:34Speaker 1: the end of the show. I love it, love it,
- 40:35Speaker 1: love it, love it. God bless and have a wonderful
- 40:37Speaker 1: day your landa here it is every day in every
- 40:42Speaker 1: way I'm getting better and better every day and in
- 40:47Speaker 1: every way, I'm getting better and better that me personally.
- 40:52Speaker 1: I add one line to that, I say in Jesus name.
- 40:56Speaker 1: But that's my faith. The affirmation is simply every day,
- 41:00Speaker 1: in every way, I'm getting better and better. Say that
- 41:05Speaker 1: every day. All right, this call left a message, Steve.
- 41:11Speaker 1: She just wanted to then about something again. I want
- 41:14Speaker 1: to say happy happy birthday. And then I mentioned to
- 41:17Speaker 1: you that my husband left me up for twenty years.
- 41:21Speaker 1: That had to even nerve to pack the frying pan
- 41:24Speaker 1: when he left for no reason. Really, he said that
- 41:27Speaker 1: I pushed him too hard. Yes to you later, Love you,
- 41:33Speaker 1: God blessed. I'll be listening to you in the morning.
- 41:36Speaker 1: Do something to make me happy. Say that. That's what

- 49:21Speaker 1: where you were then girls were girls and men were
- 49:25Speaker 1: men wishing we could use a man like Herbert Hubert
- 49:30Speaker 1: right again, let's just sup together. I want to help you.
- 49:32Speaker 1: I want to help you and I want to help
- 49:34Speaker 1: your situation. I want to help you with your wife.
- 49:36Speaker 1: But you you called me, and I if you're looking

- 49:45Speaker 1: with I know my wife is gonna leave me if
- 49:49Speaker 1: I don't quit doing this. Here's this story of a
- 49:54Speaker 1: lovely lady, three barely lovely girls. Jared, My techn me
- 50:00Speaker 1: is a little bit different, isn't and maybe a little unorthodox?
- 50:03Speaker 1: Not to feel this crew, The minto would be lost,
- 50:08Speaker 1: the mood would be lost, the minta okay, look here,
- 50:13Speaker 1: look here, I need you to help me. I need
- 50:17Speaker 1: to get you into my office. I need to schedule
- 50:19Speaker 1: an appointment with you. You need to erase my personal
- 50:21Speaker 1: number from your cell phone because God knows your name. Jared. Focus, Focus, Focus,
- 50:28Speaker 1: Jared Focus. There's a lot more going on here. But
- 50:31Speaker 1: once you're making now with me and all the game
- 50:36Speaker 1: learning from each other. Why we do our think gonna
- 50:42Speaker 1: have a good time? What? Jared? My patience is fed up.
- 50:48Speaker 1: I have no more patience with you now. I need
- 50:51Speaker 1: you to face fuckers and get it together. Why didn't
- 50:54Speaker 1: you call me? Why don't you How did you get
- 50:56Speaker 1: my number? Why you supposed to be the do You're
- 51:00Speaker 1: supposed to be the doctor and my doctor. Don't question
- 51:04Speaker 1: my credentials, young man, you called me. I want to
- 51:07Speaker 1: help you, but this has gone on too far. This
- 51:09Speaker 1: is Tommy. Tommie gave me your number to Steve. You
- 51:14Speaker 1: know Steve, don't you? Now? Look I want to help you,
- 51:18Speaker 1: but you are not allowing me to do so. So
- 51:21Speaker 1: who is Tommy? Who is Stephen? And how did you
- 51:23Speaker 1: get my number? Is on the radio? No? No, it's
- 51:27Speaker 1: Stephen on the Steven on the radio as in on
- 51:37Speaker 1: the radio, as in Tommy, Matthew, Tommy, doctor Pat. You

- 52:04Speaker 1: got you got me flustered? I was recording you. You
- 52:07Speaker 1: know that. I gotta ask you something though. What is
- 52:12Speaker 1: the baddest and I mean the baddest radio show in
- 52:15Speaker 1: the land. That's Steven? Baby? My goodness, Wow, you know
- 52:24Speaker 1: what I can't sometimes I just can't get over how
- 52:27Speaker 1: stupid I ain't really I can't either, admitted my soul
- 52:37Speaker 1: looks back and wonder how I got stupid? I just
- 52:40Speaker 1: I just want to say it. I'm stupid with a
- 52:42Speaker 1: word it calls I am. That's me, that's me, that's me.
- 52:47Speaker 1: You gotta you gotta understand it. It is a gift,
- 52:50Speaker 1: a god gift to be as stupid as I am.

- 54:27Speaker 1: for you here. It is Strawberry Letter. Thank you enough
- 54:31Speaker 1: you subject running in and Out of My Life. Dear
- 54:36Speaker 1: Stephen Shirley, I've been married for eight years and in
- 54:39Speaker 1: the last two years my husband has gotten very emotional,
- 54:42Speaker 1: and I think it's because he's got a girlfriend on
- 54:44Speaker 1: the side. We go through all of the usual marital
- 54:47Speaker 1: issues like finances, communication, and sex, and I try to
- 54:51Speaker 1: make intimacy a priority. But we have two children under
- 54:55Speaker 1: age eight. Not only are they time consuming, they're all
- 54:58Speaker 1: over the house, so it's tricky to have sex when
- 55:01Speaker 1: a three year old is sneaking in the bedroom at night.
- 55:03Speaker 1: He usually gets jealous of our children when I put
- 55:06Speaker 1: their needs over his, so he gets upset a lot.
- 55:09Speaker 1: He used to stay in the basement when he was
- 55:11Speaker 1: mad at me, but now he leaves out of the house.
- 55:15Speaker 1: I have no idea where he's staying when he leaves,
- 55:17Speaker 1: but he comes back in a great mood. He's done
- 55:20Speaker 1: this four times in the last two months. Christmas Eve,
- 55:24Speaker 1: he picked a fight with me so he could leave.
- 55:27Speaker 1: He got home at five a m. Just in time
- 55:31Speaker 1: to get the gifts ready for our children. His mood
- 55:35Speaker 1: had changed and he was lovey dovey with me. I
- 55:38Speaker 1: can't pretend that everything is fine whenever he comes back
- 55:41Speaker 1: from wherever he's been. He said it's better if he
- 55:44Speaker 1: leaves then to argue with me in front of the children.
- 55:46Speaker 1: I told him it is best if we handle disagreements
- 55:49Speaker 1: as adults without him getting emotional. I told him he
- 55:53Speaker 1: can't keep running in and out of my life, our house,
- 55:56Speaker 1: and our dead. We've been going back and forth on
- 55:59Speaker 1: this subject, and he says I'm paranoid because I'm not
- 56:02Speaker 1: holding up my end of the marriage. I have children,
- 56:06Speaker 1: a full time job, and I'm trying to lose weight,
- 56:09Speaker 1: so I'm hungry and cranky. I am not a sex machine.
- 56:12Speaker 1: And if he needs sex that badly, he can go
- 56:14Speaker 1: get it elsewhere. But he needs to stay here, I mean,
- 56:18Speaker 1: stay there. Can we work through this or is it
- 56:21Speaker 1: time to go? Well, if you have to ask a
- 56:24Speaker 1: question like that, and if you have to say, he
- 56:27Speaker 1: can go get it elsewhere, but he needs to stay there,
- 56:30Speaker 1: you know that's a sign your marriage is in trouble.
- 56:32Speaker 1: I mean, first of all, your husband doesn't sound like
- 56:36Speaker 1: he helps you with the kids at all. And why
- 56:39Speaker 1: is all of this on you? Why do you have
- 56:41Speaker 1: to do everything because that's what it sounds like in
- 56:44Speaker 1: the letter. And why is he jealous of his own children?
- 56:48Speaker 1: Why stop making excuses for him. There's no way he
- 56:51Speaker 1: should be leaving the house and coming in at five
- 56:53Speaker 1: in the morning. I don't care what kind of argument
- 56:56Speaker 1: you guys had. Yeah, he must have a girlfriend of
- 56:59Speaker 1: some than out there coming back in the house all
- 57:01Speaker 1: shipper and stuff like. You know, he's been taking care
- 57:05Speaker 1: of someone took care of him. I don't know how
- 57:07Speaker 1: you're even allowing that. I know you have a job
- 57:10Speaker 1: and you have children and all of that, but you
- 57:12Speaker 1: do need to concentrate more on your marriage. I mean,
- 57:15Speaker 1: and you're right, he can't keep running in and out
- 57:18Speaker 1: of your life in your house and your bed. Married
- 57:20Speaker 1: men know they have curfews, whether you call it a
- 57:22Speaker 1: curfew or not. They know they should be in the
- 57:25Speaker 1: house at a respectable hour, and that does not mean
- 57:28Speaker 1: at five in the morning. They know better. I'm not
- 57:31Speaker 1: gonna say this marriage is done completely, but like I
- 57:34Speaker 1: said earlier, it is in some serious trouble. I don't
- 57:37Speaker 1: see the support you need as a mom from your husband,
- 57:40Speaker 1: who is the father of these babies. He's just thinking
- 57:43Speaker 1: about himself at this point, so you need to think
- 57:46Speaker 1: about you. But yes, your marriage is in trouble, Steve.
- 57:51Speaker 1: You know surely I agree with everything you said in
- 57:55Speaker 1: this letter right here if I did not say that
- 57:57Speaker 1: up top, But I found your letter response to be
- 58:00Speaker 1: quite adequate. I'm just struggling here with the whole letter.
- 58:07Speaker 1: It's some rules to marriage, and if you don't follow
- 58:11Speaker 1: the rule, it's gonna be a problem. But see now,
- 58:15Speaker 1: you saved all the way to the end of the
- 58:17Speaker 1: letter to address what you think is wrong. But let's
- 58:22Speaker 1: let me just walk you through this thing. You've been
- 58:24Speaker 1: married eight years and the last two years your husband
- 58:27Speaker 1: has gotten very emotional. Now, when you said that, I
- 58:30Speaker 1: thought like he'd decrying and whining podcast talking about man,
- 58:48Speaker 1: I don't want to watch sports on TV and stephen A.
- 58:53Speaker 1: Smith and not all after day. So I didn't. I don't.
- 58:59Speaker 1: I didn't get that. But you say you think it's
- 59:01Speaker 1: because he's got a girlfriend on the side. You know,
- 59:04Speaker 1: everybody go through marital issues. You're right, finances, communications, sex.
- 59:08Speaker 1: I try to make intimacy of proudy. But we got
- 59:11Speaker 1: two children under the age. Not only are they time consuming,
- 59:16Speaker 1: they are all over the house. Yeah, they all you
- 59:19Speaker 1: gotta you gotta set some bounds though, But it is
- 59:21Speaker 1: because kids are tricky. I don't know what side how
- 59:24Speaker 1: she got. So let me just leave that alone because
- 59:26Speaker 1: it's just tricky. They you know, you're the two bed room,
- 59:30Speaker 1: three bed room here there is again, well you know
- 59:33Speaker 1: where else they going? You know they keep you. Quit
- 59:35Speaker 1: walking by hell. Hell, it's on the way everywhere, you know,
- 59:40Speaker 1: So you know, I don't know what the hell to
- 59:42Speaker 1: tell you. Your mind is so crazy. Quit talking by hell,
- 59:48Speaker 1: quit walking by him. But walk. If I don't walk
- 59:53Speaker 1: by here, how's I'm going somewhere go to your room.
- 59:57Speaker 1: Can't gotta go ahead and walk by you because and
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: you know that I'm gonna have to cross if you
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: want me to go to my room, I'm gonna have
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: to cross that ass whipping for that because let me know,
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: because I just stay here, or do you want me
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: to go outside and walk around the side of the house,
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: because this all these dumb ass rules by quit walking
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: by him, mamma. We need a big a house. Now,
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: we need a we need a catwalk in this house
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: somewhere walking cross overhead he is, we'll have part two
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: of Steve's crazy. I don't heard that as a quick
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: quit walking by him. Well, I'll be there. You do
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: know this the two bad room, mamma, As I was
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: saying to Steves response coming up at twenty three minutes
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: after the hour, today's Strawberry letters subject running in and
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: out of my life. We'll get back into it right
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: after this. You're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, Steve,
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: come on, let's uh, let's recap today's strawberry letter, the
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: subject running in and out of my life. You know,
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: I was just trying to find some joy in this
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: letter because what I'm gonna have to tell this lady
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: is not gonna be fun. He's very emotional. Husband, been
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: married eight years. The last two years he's been very emotional.
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: I was thinking I was a lot of crying and
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: sniffling wine and you know, just about little petty stuff.
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: But you think it's because he got a girlfriend on
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: the side. Y'all got regular issues finance, communication, sex, and
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: you try to make intimacy of priority. But you got
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: these two kids under eight. Not only are they time consuming,
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: but they all over the house. Now that's a tough statement.
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: That's the statement we left own it. I'm gonna not
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: gonna horp on that. But you know, quick blaming the
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: kids for being all over the house. The house ain't.
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: But you got a two bed room and they just
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: you know, if they ain't all over the house where
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: you want him to be, you know what I mean,
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: you know, gonna you know, relegate them to their room
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: or something. Anyway, let's not get into that. And so
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: it's actually tricky to have sex with a three year old.
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: Is sneaking in the bedroom at night, Well that you
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: can stop that one good snatching. We'll prevent the coming
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: in the three am in the morning, because you know
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: that's a hard ass whim to take in the middle
- 1:02:23Speaker 1: of the night. So we can stop the sneaking in
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: the bedroom at night. You need a lock on your
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: door too. Now you're talking about you don't want to
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: lock the children now, well, then let them free run.
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: Let everyone run wild over that two bed room. Then
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: let them just go ahead and run them up. You
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: know they ain't even running down the hallway. They and
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: your house ain't get run across the hall to the
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: other dope, so you know, I don't know anyway. He
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: actually just gets jealous our children when I put that
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: kneeds over here, So he gets upset a lot. He
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: used to stay in the basement when he was mad
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: at me, but now he leaves out the house. I
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: have no idea when he's staying. When he leaves, but
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: he comes back in a great move. He didn't done
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: this four times in the last two moths. Christmas Evie
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: picked a fight with me. So Christmas Evie picked a
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: fight with me so he could leave. He got home
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: at five am, just in time to get the gifts
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: ready for the kids. You can do that, not wow.
- 1:03:28Speaker 1: His mood had changed and he was very lovely devy
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: with me. I can't pretend that everything is fine. When
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: he comes back wherever he's been. He says he's better
- 1:03:36Speaker 1: if he leaves and the argue with me in front
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: of children. I told him, and this is what you
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: did say that was right. I told him his best.
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: We handled disagreements as adult without him getting emotional. I
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: told him he can't keep running in and out of
- 1:03:49Speaker 1: my life. You can't keep you know, I like, have
- 1:04:04Speaker 1: you get so distracted back to the letter? Stop listening?
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: He hey, we needed that destruction because this letter ain't
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: working for damn anyway. And anyway, he can't keep running
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: in our house and our bed. We've been going back
- 1:04:27Speaker 1: and forth on this subject, and he says, I'm paranoid
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: because I'm not holding up my end of the marriage.
- 1:04:33Speaker 1: Now here we go, Shirley said, why is he not
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: involved in raising these kids as he should be. He
- 1:04:41Speaker 1: should have more periental duties instead of dumping all this
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: on you and send to me telling like you ain't
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: holding up your end of the bargain. Here's what the
- 1:04:48Speaker 1: latter came down to. I have children, a full time job,
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: and I'm trying to lose weight. So I'm hungry, ain't
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: cranky that it's what this letter that came down to.
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: I'll be damned, I am trying to lose this weight.
- 1:05:09Speaker 1: So I am hungry and cranky. Now, it took a
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: long time to get to that letter to find out
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: what was wrong. That's just one of the symbols that
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: And then he got the nerve to tell you you
- 1:05:22Speaker 1: ain't holding up your way into the ball. Right. That's
- 1:05:25Speaker 1: babyweight you got on you, ma'am. That's all that is.
- 1:05:28Speaker 1: That's baby wait. And you had these two kids close
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: together and it just ain't what it was. And you know,
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: we gotta really understand that, fellas, because we don't have children. Now,
- 1:05:37Speaker 1: you know, it's some women that have baby weight on them,
- 1:05:39Speaker 1: the baby eighteen. We can't keep claiming that as baby weight.
- 1:05:44Speaker 1: If that gonna keeping. No, you're not gonna keep doing that.
- 1:05:52Speaker 1: It's what you're not gonna do. So I can't get
- 1:05:56Speaker 1: on her about the weight loss or nothing like that.
- 1:06:00Speaker 1: I can tell you do is get your energy up
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: so you can chase them kids around the house by
- 1:06:05Speaker 1: using elevate. You go to elevate you dot com because
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: it's a shameless plug right here. Get you some so yeah,
- 1:06:16Speaker 1: I don't even like the damn nudder, so you and
- 1:06:18Speaker 1: you need energy to go keep unlocking that door in
- 1:06:21Speaker 1: the middle of the night when he come back in. Anyway,
- 1:06:25Speaker 1: I'm not a sex machine. And if he needs sex
- 1:06:28Speaker 1: that badly, he can go get it elsewhere. And that's
- 1:06:31Speaker 1: exactly what he's done. Thank you for coming to that conclusion,
- 1:06:35Speaker 1: because that's what he's doing. He's going somewhere else, becoming
- 1:06:38Speaker 1: very jolly and coming back home on Christmas eves. Ho
- 1:06:43Speaker 1: ho ho ho ho happen here we go up, hey,
- 1:06:53Speaker 1: credit up live day every cold. You can't keep running
- 1:06:57Speaker 1: in and out of my life, man, No, you can't art.
- 1:07:01Speaker 1: What's up? All right? Poster comments on Today's Strawberry Letter

- 1:07:13Speaker 1: the Strawberry Letter podcast on demand. Coming up with forty
- 1:07:16Speaker 1: six minutes after Sports Talk with Junior. Right after this,
- 1:07:19Speaker 1: you're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show. It is time
- 1:07:24Speaker 1: now for Junior and Sports Talk Junior. What you got
- 1:07:27Speaker 1: all right, Charlie, real quick up Golden State. Wards went
- 1:07:30Speaker 1: to the White House and they had two extra guests
- 1:07:33Speaker 1: with him and they warren't on the team. Carl you
- 1:07:36Speaker 1: did you see this, carlge did you see Yeah? It
- 1:07:38Speaker 1: was too short and e forty Yeah. At the White
- 1:07:41Speaker 1: House hold State Ward, I didn't even know who whist was. Yeah,
- 1:07:46Speaker 1: go to whistle it sprink will be mine. All of
- 1:07:50Speaker 1: in the White House, but the grave one I didn't
- 1:07:52Speaker 1: know who they was. Coldy had suits on. They looked
- 1:07:55Speaker 1: like the players. Daddy brat the shortest hill where you
- 1:08:02Speaker 1: get his gratulations. But they gave up President Biden and
- 1:08:07Speaker 1: Vice President Harris jerseys. He gave President by the number
- 1:08:10Speaker 1: forty six, and they gave Vice President Harris the jersey
- 1:08:13Speaker 1: with number one on it because she's from the Oakland
- 1:08:15Speaker 1: area and she is the number one fans. So I'm
- 1:08:17Speaker 1: good at looking out for them. Also in sports, Lamar
- 1:08:21Speaker 1: Jackson contract is in the news. It's still up in
- 1:08:24Speaker 1: the air. Now. This is crazy man, because Lamar Jackson
- 1:08:28Speaker 1: wants a fully guaranteed contract. Now the Ravens say they
- 1:08:31Speaker 1: stands is they can't trust Lamar to stay healthy. So
- 1:08:34Speaker 1: he did miss the last six games. They have the playoff,
- 1:08:36Speaker 1: but I don't even know where his money gonna fall
- 1:08:38Speaker 1: because the franchise tag him. He gonna make forty five
- 1:08:41Speaker 1: million next season if they hit him with the franchise tag,
- 1:08:44Speaker 1: but they were Lamar won't. He wants a long term deal,
- 1:08:47Speaker 1: so he is. Where We're looking at the top five
- 1:08:50Speaker 1: quarterbacks salaries from last year now leading the pack. Aaron
- 1:08:54Speaker 1: Rodgers fifty million he made last season. Fifty Okay, right
- 1:09:00Speaker 1: after that, you had Russell Wilson with forty nine he
- 1:09:04Speaker 1: made and you saw what the Broncos did. Yeah it's nothing.
- 1:09:12Speaker 1: Kyler Murray made forty six million, missed the playoffs. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:09:17Speaker 1: they didn't make the playoffs, and DeShawn Watson got forty
- 1:09:22Speaker 1: six mets. All that ever, forty six Where where is
- 1:09:32Speaker 1: Patrick Mahomes. Patrick Mahomes is right after that forty five
- 1:09:38Speaker 1: forty five million the season. So let me ask should
- 1:09:40Speaker 1: he get should he get a fully guaranteed contract more
- 1:09:45Speaker 1: than DeShawn Watson, who over the years makes more money. Well,
- 1:09:49Speaker 1: you all are not doing this right. The biggest contract
- 1:09:52Speaker 1: in the NFL belongs to Patrick's Mahome right, it's two
- 1:09:56Speaker 1: five million dollars. So now, oh what y'all talking about.
- 1:10:05Speaker 1: I'll take his deal right now. I'll take his deal
- 1:10:12Speaker 1: right now. Won't write about him? All right? Thank you.
- 1:10:19Speaker 1: Coming up with no taxes, I can walk you got
- 1:10:26Speaker 1: to pay your taxes right coming up at the top
- 1:10:29Speaker 1: of the hour, a woman on social media, Steve needs
- 1:10:31Speaker 1: advice about her best Steve, we'll talk about it right
- 1:10:34Speaker 1: after this. You're listening show, all right, Steve, this one's
- 1:10:41Speaker 1: for you. Kim writes, my BF and I work together,
- 1:10:44Speaker 1: so we spend five days a week with each other
- 1:10:46Speaker 1: and talk all the time. She was having a bad
- 1:10:49Speaker 1: time with her boyfriend, and I was always there to
- 1:10:52Speaker 1: be supportive and encourage her to stand up for herself. Well,
- 1:10:55Speaker 1: now things seem to be good with him, and she's
- 1:10:59Speaker 1: told that I was encouraging her to break it off
- 1:11:02Speaker 1: with him, and he doesn't want her to be friends
- 1:11:04Speaker 1: with me anymore. He's even trying to get her to
- 1:11:06Speaker 1: quit her job. I think it's a horrible idea for
- 1:11:10Speaker 1: her to get back together with him and know it's
- 1:11:12Speaker 1: only a matter of time before he's back to his
- 1:11:14Speaker 1: old self and she'll be looking to me for support.
- 1:11:17Speaker 1: How do I keep my bff from cutting me out
- 1:11:20Speaker 1: of her life and leaving her with no one who's
- 1:11:22Speaker 1: looking out for what's best for her? Okay, how about
- 1:11:25Speaker 1: ain't this ain't your damn business. See what happened to that?
- 1:11:31Speaker 1: I don't understand why? What is the matter? See, let
- 1:11:36Speaker 1: me tell you something. If somebody makes it clear to me, Steve,
- 1:11:39Speaker 1: this ain't your damn business. Thank you? So you mean
- 1:11:43Speaker 1: I ain't gotta take your call no more? Bro, I
- 1:11:47Speaker 1: promise you if you insinuate that you don't need my help,
- 1:11:54Speaker 1: that it ain't, won't it. I promise you. I got
- 1:11:57Speaker 1: plenty of people won't talk to me about there. If
- 1:11:59Speaker 1: you man, let me let me tell doc. I had
- 1:12:02Speaker 1: to tell one of my own kids that hey, look, okay,
- 1:12:06Speaker 1: I'll tell you what you got it. Go ahead now,
- 1:12:07Speaker 1: I'm telling you if you if you go with Route eight,
- 1:12:12Speaker 1: I can tell you what's down that street right there. Now.
- 1:12:16Speaker 1: If you take Route bat, I've been on that road too.
- 1:12:20Speaker 1: I can tell you what's down beat. I'm telling you
- 1:12:23Speaker 1: right now, don't go down eight. Damn times is different.
- 1:12:27Speaker 1: Now tell your ass down eight. Go ahead, trying your
- 1:12:32Speaker 1: ass right on down abolute eight. You ain't gonna believe
- 1:12:36Speaker 1: what's down there. But you know so so she should
- 1:12:39Speaker 1: stay out of her bff's business, period, Yeah, please, Yeah,
- 1:12:46Speaker 1: but she thinks she's helping, you know, she thinks she's
- 1:12:48Speaker 1: helping you, she's looking out for her. Maybe all right,
- 1:12:57Speaker 1: I think we have time for one more. Um. This
- 1:13:00Speaker 1: is from Bridget. Bridget on Facebook says, I like my
- 1:13:04Speaker 1: current job. I make a decent salary and enjoy the work,
- 1:13:08Speaker 1: but with everything getting more expensive, it would help if
- 1:13:10Speaker 1: I was able to make a little more. Unfortunately, there
- 1:13:14Speaker 1: isn't any room for advancement at my job, and I'm
- 1:13:17Speaker 1: at the max of what they'll pay. And on top
- 1:13:20Speaker 1: of that, I work all the time, so I don't
- 1:13:22Speaker 1: have any time to earn money outside of work, or
- 1:13:25Speaker 1: any time to look for a different job. Where do
- 1:13:27Speaker 1: I go from here? How do I earn more when
- 1:13:30Speaker 1: one percent of my time is spent on my current job? Well, see,
- 1:13:35Speaker 1: you are in what's called a trap. You are in
- 1:13:41Speaker 1: a trap. You have maxed out, You're at the top level,
- 1:13:46Speaker 1: you can't make any more, and you want more. There's
- 1:13:51Speaker 1: one decision that you can make that can solve this problem.
- 1:13:57Speaker 1: You have to quit which your current position to pursue
- 1:14:04Speaker 1: your dream. That's your option. That's an amazing option to
- 1:14:12Speaker 1: have because it offers you freedom, it offers you progress.
- 1:14:19Speaker 1: The problem with where you are is you've gotten comfortable there.
- 1:14:24Speaker 1: If you stay in your comfort zone, that is where
- 1:14:27Speaker 1: you will fail. And right now you are in the
- 1:14:30Speaker 1: process of watching failure come upon you. You can't make anymore,
- 1:14:35Speaker 1: your job doesn't offer anymore, there's no room for advancement.
- 1:14:40Speaker 1: So I don't know how old you are, but you're
- 1:14:43Speaker 1: done what That makes no damn sense at all. So
- 1:14:49Speaker 1: now you're going to have to face what you already
- 1:14:53Speaker 1: know that your greatest chance for an opportunity is outside
- 1:14:57Speaker 1: of your comfort zone. That's that's that, and all of
- 1:15:03Speaker 1: us have those moments in life all the time. I'm
- 1:15:06Speaker 1: facing on right now. That's true. That's very true. That's
- 1:15:12Speaker 1: all right. Coming up in twenty minutes after the hour,
- 1:15:18Speaker 1: we'll happen Harpy Morning Show right after this you're listening show,
- 1:15:26Speaker 1: all right, So Steve, let's remind everyone about your health
- 1:15:30Speaker 1: and wellness journey and where they can get more information
- 1:15:32Speaker 1: on your brand new green drink Elevate you folks. I'm
- 1:15:36Speaker 1: excited about it. You know, I've always been kind of
- 1:15:40Speaker 1: fooling around with this health and wellness stuff, and I
- 1:15:43Speaker 1: finally decided to jump in full blast and really let
- 1:15:47Speaker 1: the public in on what I was doing. And I
- 1:15:49Speaker 1: started with green drinks and they do the job because
- 1:15:53Speaker 1: green drinks really attach you and to help you get
- 1:15:59Speaker 1: healing from a cellular level. So I got with a
- 1:16:02Speaker 1: guy and I came up with a green drink man
- 1:16:04Speaker 1: that had everything, and it plus a special blend that
- 1:16:07Speaker 1: we put in it for added energy and things. And
- 1:16:10Speaker 1: next thing you know, we developed it over two year
- 1:16:13Speaker 1: period and I started testing it with other people and
- 1:16:16Speaker 1: myself and we came out with the product called Elevate You,
- 1:16:20Speaker 1: Elevate Yourself, and it's a great green drink. But it
- 1:16:24Speaker 1: comes in flavors. It comes in original part cherry and chocolate,
- 1:16:29Speaker 1: and it's absolutely delicious. But it gives you everything you
- 1:16:34Speaker 1: need to feed your body on the cellular level that
- 1:16:36Speaker 1: can be put into a green drink and it's delicious.

- 1:17:25Speaker 1: Taxes or Internet search? Excuse me, because you've been looking
- 1:17:29Speaker 1: up some crazy would you been googling? I'm gonna tell
- 1:17:36Speaker 1: you back when Kim Kardashian was on the cover of
- 1:17:39Speaker 1: Page magazine Paper Paine. Yeah, I had Google last so

- 1:17:59Speaker 1: All right, we'll take yeah, all right, all right. Would
- 1:18:06Speaker 1: you rather eat hot sauce in the desert or ice
- 1:18:11Speaker 1: cream in the snow? Oh? That's easy to eat ice cream. Yeah,
- 1:18:20Speaker 1: I'm gonna eat that ice cream in the snow. YEA
- 1:18:23Speaker 1: cold and cold, cold and cold. You can deal with it. Junior, Junior, junior,
- 1:18:31Speaker 1: you're gonna go with the hot not doing that. No, No,
- 1:18:36Speaker 1: your your stupid ass is not finished. Be out here
- 1:18:38Speaker 1: in this cold and some damn ice cream, and you're

- 1:19:18Speaker 1: would you rather be constantly I mean constantly surprised in
- 1:19:23Speaker 1: bed or would you rather always want to know what's coming?
- 1:19:28Speaker 1: You always know what's coming, or you're constantly surprised? Which
- 1:19:33Speaker 1: one would you rather? I need to know what's coming.
- 1:19:40Speaker 1: I'm like when sitting up here leaning against the wall,
- 1:19:46Speaker 1: when about what's going to come out? No, no, I
- 1:19:50Speaker 1: can't do that. Let's do what we've been. We know
- 1:19:53Speaker 1: what we know. Everybody know, we know our roles. We know. Yeah,
- 1:19:56Speaker 1: we also y'all want the root. Sorry, I just want
- 1:20:01Speaker 1: to know what's coming. I'm coming working, Yeah, now walking
- 1:20:12Speaker 1: in here? Hey, Hey, hey, what is the monkey day's round?
- 1:20:20Speaker 1: Why is the little person over there with the camp
- 1:20:27Speaker 1: coming up? In forty nine minutes after the hour, it's
- 1:20:29Speaker 1: the last break of the day, and we'll have some
- 1:20:31Speaker 1: closing remarks from this. Why is your mom? Steve Harvey?
- 1:20:37Speaker 1: Right after this, you're listening to Steven Show. All right, guys,
- 1:20:43Speaker 1: here we are our last break of the day. It's
- 1:20:47Speaker 1: been a good day after Steve's birthday. You had a
- 1:20:50Speaker 1: great birthday. Huh, celebrated you, man, Thank you lord, cool boy.
- 1:21:03Speaker 1: How you feel man? You know? Man? I feel good, man.
- 1:21:08Speaker 1: I feel more blessed than ever. Um. Somebody asked me, hey, man,
- 1:21:13Speaker 1: if if you could go back and relive any year
- 1:21:18Speaker 1: of your life, what year would you go back to?
- 1:21:22Speaker 1: And uh, I said, sixty five? Last? Yeah, I mean
- 1:21:31Speaker 1: I was as good as I had it, and then
- 1:21:33Speaker 1: you give it fold. I had it with sixty four,
- 1:21:37Speaker 1: not like twenty or thirty or something. I'm not going
- 1:21:41Speaker 1: back there. I don't. I don't. I don't need that pain. No.
- 1:21:45Speaker 1: I learned some valuable lessons growing up, and and you
- 1:21:49Speaker 1: know what I think. I think what I've accomplished and
- 1:21:54Speaker 1: learned about my past has been very helpful and it
- 1:21:57Speaker 1: might help a lot of you if you start on
- 1:22:00Speaker 1: it this way, your past. I view my past and
- 1:22:04Speaker 1: I and this just came to me, I view my
- 1:22:07Speaker 1: past as a history lesson. I don't. I don't. I
- 1:22:10Speaker 1: don't look in my past any other way. I consider
- 1:22:14Speaker 1: my past a history lesson, and I use everything that
- 1:22:19Speaker 1: happened to me from my past as a lesson and
- 1:22:25Speaker 1: a lesson well learned, because man, it is so valuable
- 1:22:30Speaker 1: surviving the things you've survived, which enables you to now
- 1:22:36Speaker 1: be strengthened from it, and you should now have a
- 1:22:40Speaker 1: resolve from it that. Man, if I survived that, if
- 1:22:46Speaker 1: I see it again, I can survive it again. And
- 1:22:50Speaker 1: if you look at your life your past as a
- 1:22:55Speaker 1: history lesson, Lord have mercy, I'd have fell on something.
- 1:22:59Speaker 1: If you look at your past as a life lesson,
- 1:23:05Speaker 1: that can be the most valuable thing in your life,
- 1:23:08Speaker 1: because in your past has been a series of experiences, failures,
- 1:23:15Speaker 1: turning points, critical moments, and all of those things have
- 1:23:22Speaker 1: developed you into who you are today. And it's nothing
- 1:23:27Speaker 1: wrong with that. If you look at your pass as
- 1:23:32Speaker 1: a mishap, as a series of missteps, you've blown the
- 1:23:37Speaker 1: opportunity to grow from it. That happened mishaps in all
- 1:23:41Speaker 1: of our past, that have been missteps in all of
- 1:23:43Speaker 1: our past. But do I need to remind you that
- 1:23:46Speaker 1: you survived them all, and you are sitting here in
- 1:23:50Speaker 1: twenty twenty three, in spite of what happened during the pandemic,
- 1:23:55Speaker 1: in spite of what happened in your personal life, in
- 1:23:59Speaker 1: spite of that person deserting and leaving you, in spite
- 1:24:03Speaker 1: of that company firing you, in spite of your friends
- 1:24:07Speaker 1: stealing from you, in spite of them never paying you
- 1:24:11Speaker 1: your money back, in spite of them telling you you
- 1:24:14Speaker 1: weren't good enough, in spite of them walking out on
- 1:24:17Speaker 1: you in twenty twenty three, do you not understand you
- 1:24:23Speaker 1: are still here and you survived it. Steve, I ain't
- 1:24:29Speaker 1: so show about that. I don't know if I survived that, man,
- 1:24:31Speaker 1: because it's still a problem for me. You survived it,
- 1:24:37Speaker 1: I don't know, man. It seemed to me, Steve, like
- 1:24:39Speaker 1: if something if you ain't got no no ending to it,
- 1:24:42Speaker 1: how can you say you survived it. You don't know
- 1:24:44Speaker 1: if you're gonna survive because it ain't over yet. You're
- 1:24:47Speaker 1: surviving it, man, Stop looking for the negative all the time.
- 1:24:54Speaker 1: So many times we take the things that happened to
- 1:24:59Speaker 1: us that we didn't want to happen, the negative things
- 1:25:01Speaker 1: that happened to us, and we carry the negativity around
- 1:25:04Speaker 1: with it. When you do that, you fail to learn
- 1:25:08Speaker 1: the lesson. The things that happened to you are not
- 1:25:12Speaker 1: designed to keep you negative. The things that happened to
- 1:25:17Speaker 1: you are designed to teach you the lesson so you
- 1:25:21Speaker 1: can move on and when you see it again, you
- 1:25:23Speaker 1: will have the experience to deal with it. Your past
- 1:25:27Speaker 1: is a history lesson, y'all. That's all it is. Count
- 1:25:32Speaker 1: your lessons as blessings. That's what you got to do.
- 1:25:38Speaker 1: That's the magic trick to it all. If you count
- 1:25:41Speaker 1: your history lesson and all those lessons as blessings, then
- 1:25:46Speaker 1: guess what. It no longer becomes a negative. Yeah I
- 1:25:50Speaker 1: got to divorce. Yeah, I got that. I've got it.
- 1:25:54Speaker 1: Was it some painful lessons in that year? Yeah? Was
- 1:25:57Speaker 1: it some costly lessons in that yet? Yeah? Well, Steve,
- 1:26:01Speaker 1: so what you're talking about? So you want me to
- 1:26:02Speaker 1: stay on that side of it, or you want me
- 1:26:04Speaker 1: to realize that I learned how to do it the
- 1:26:06Speaker 1: right way, that I corrected some mistakes, that I survived it. Yeah,
- 1:26:10Speaker 1: you had the baby out of wed lock, I got that,
- 1:26:13Speaker 1: But that baby wasn't an accident. You and him might
- 1:26:15Speaker 1: not have intended that to happen, but God produced that life.
- 1:26:19Speaker 1: That life is here. That's a blessing. You don't know
- 1:26:22Speaker 1: who you gave birth to. I bet you Barack Obama's
- 1:26:25Speaker 1: mom and daddy had no idea when that little boy
- 1:26:29Speaker 1: was born that he would one day become the first
- 1:26:31Speaker 1: African American president of the United States of America. I
- 1:26:35Speaker 1: promise you they didn't know that. My daddy told me
- 1:26:38Speaker 1: one time after my mama passed. He said, boy, when
- 1:26:42Speaker 1: we first looked up, me and Bill first looked up
- 1:26:45Speaker 1: and saw you on TV. We were sitting there, going,
- 1:26:47Speaker 1: said Bill, did you ever think that me and you
- 1:26:51Speaker 1: would have made something it born on TV? Imagine what
- 1:26:55Speaker 1: your parents are thinking about you, How proud they got
- 1:26:58Speaker 1: to be of what you became, what you've overcome, and
- 1:27:01Speaker 1: what you've produced in your life. There's some people out
- 1:27:03Speaker 1: there glad you who you are. Stop tripping on your pads.
- 1:27:07Speaker 1: Your past is a history lesson. Learn the lessons, because
- 1:27:10Speaker 1: all the lessons is blessed. Those are my closing remarks today.
- 1:27:13Speaker 1: I'm glad you asked me if you will see y'all
- 1:27:16Speaker 1: amar man, God willing, Hey, let's talk to God. Guess
- 1:27:19Speaker 1: why he loved to hear front Yeah, we kill. For
