- 0:01Speaker 1: President Donald Trump signed a proclamation reinstating a travel band
- 0:06Speaker 1: that restricts entry into the United States for citizens of
- 0:09Speaker 1: twelve countries. Why the present signing national security concerns now.
- 0:15Speaker 1: The policy is set to take effect very quickly on
- 0:19Speaker 1: June the ninth. There are twelve countries that are listed,
- 0:22Speaker 1: and the President had this to say about it is
- 0:25Speaker 1: he announced it from the Oval Office.
- 0:27Speaker 2: The recent terror attack in Boulder, Colorado has underscored the
- 0:31Speaker 2: extreme dangers posed to our country by the entry of
- 0:35Speaker 2: foreign nationals who are not properly vetted, as well as
- 0:39Speaker 2: those who come here as temporary visitors and overstay their visas.
- 0:44Speaker 3: We don't want them.
- 0:45Speaker 2: In the twenty first century, we've seen one terror attack
- 0:48Speaker 2: after another carried out by foreign visa overstairs from dangerous
- 0:53Speaker 2: places all over the world, and thanks to Biden's open
- 0:57Speaker 2: door policies, today there are and millions of these illegals
- 1:02Speaker 2: who should not be in our country. In my first term,
- 1:05Speaker 2: my powerful travel restrictions were one of our most successful policies,
- 1:10Speaker 2: and they were a key part of preventing major foreign
- 1:13Speaker 2: terror attacks on American soil. We will not let what
- 1:17Speaker 2: happened in Europe happen to America. That's why, on my
- 1:21Speaker 2: first day back in office, I directed the Secretary of
- 1:25Speaker 2: State to perform a security review of high risk regions
- 1:29Speaker 2: and make recommendations for where restrictions should be imposed. Among
- 1:34Speaker 2: the national security threats their analysis considered are the large
- 1:39Speaker 2: scale presence of terrorists, failure to cooperate on visa security,
- 1:45Speaker 2: inability to verify travelers' identities, inadequate record keeping of criminal histories,
- 1:52Speaker 2: and persistently high rates of illegal visa overstays, and other things.
- 1:59Speaker 2: Very simply can not have open migration from any country
- 2:03Speaker 2: where we cannot safely and reliably vet and screen those
- 2:06Speaker 2: who seek to enter the United States. That is why
- 2:10Speaker 2: today I am signing a new executive order placing travel
- 2:14Speaker 2: restrictions on countries including Yemen, Somalia, Haiti, Libya, and numerous others.
- 2:22Speaker 2: The strength of the restrictions we're applying depends on the
- 2:26Speaker 2: severity of the threat posts. The list is subject to
- 2:31Speaker 2: revision based on whether material improvements are made, and likewise,
- 2:35Speaker 2: new countries can be added as threats everge around the world.
- 2:40Speaker 3: But we will not.
- 2:41Speaker 2: Allow people to enter our country who wish to do
- 2:44Speaker 2: us harm, and nothing will stop us from keeping America
- 2:49Speaker 2: saying thank you very much.
- 2:52Speaker 1: The President going through that list again, Afghanistan, Burma, Chad,
- 2:56Speaker 1: the Republic of the Congo, Heecreatorial Guinea, Haiti, Iran, Libya, Somalia, Sudan,
- 3:02Speaker 1: and Yemen. There are also partial restrictions on seven different
- 3:07Speaker 1: countries Burundi, Cuba, Laos, Sierra Leone, Togo, turs Megastan, and Venezuela.
- 3:16Speaker 1: The partial restrictions involve limitations on immigrant and certain non
- 3:21Speaker 1: immigrant visas, but some temporary visas may still be granted
- 3:25Speaker 1: with those quote partial restrictions on the seven countries I
- 3:28Speaker 1: just listed now, as President Trump stated, the ban aims
- 3:33Speaker 1: to protect the United States from individuals who may pose
- 3:36Speaker 1: threats to national security, citing concerns over terrorism, inadequate vetting processes,
- 3:42Speaker 1: and high visa overstay rates in the US. He referenced
- 3:46Speaker 1: a recent attack in Boulder allegedly perpetrated by an Egyptian
- 3:51Speaker 1: national and a catalyst for the new policy.
- 3:55Speaker 4: Now.
- 3:56Speaker 1: The administration also pointed two deficiencies and information and identity
- 4:01Speaker 1: management protocols and affected countries which hinder effective screening and
- 4:05Speaker 1: vetting of travelers. The travel band has already faced criticism
- 4:10Speaker 1: don't worry from the left is they will do anything
- 4:13Speaker 1: to stand up for illegal immigrants and even those that
- 4:16Speaker 1: are committing atrostes against Americans. It is very clear there's
- 4:20Speaker 1: two ways of thinking on this issue. The conservative way,
- 4:24Speaker 1: the Trump way, is to protect American citizens, and the
- 4:28Speaker 1: left is to advocate and protect the illegal immigrants, even
- 4:32Speaker 1: those that are on terrorists watch lists. Now Donald Trump
- 4:36Speaker 1: isn't the only one saying that this is exactly what
- 4:38Speaker 1: needed to happen. Senator Tom Cotton, a man that served
- 4:41Speaker 1: as country overseas in many parts of the world where
- 4:43Speaker 1: these travel bans are happening, went on Fox and Friends
- 4:47Speaker 1: and had this to say.
- 4:49Speaker 5: So, President Trump banning travel from twelve countries and placing
- 4:52Speaker 5: restrictions on seven others in the wake of national security
- 4:55Speaker 5: concerns related to the Boulder terror attack.
- 4:58Speaker 2: The strength of the restriction, as we're applying, depends on
- 5:01Speaker 2: the severity of the threat post The list is subject
- 5:06Speaker 2: to revision based on whether material improvements are made, and likewise,
- 5:11Speaker 2: new countries can be added as threats emerge around the world.
- 5:15Speaker 5: And in a separate proclamation, he moved to officially block
- 5:18Speaker 5: new foreign students from getting visas to attend Harvard University
- 5:21Speaker 5: urging his administrator to consider revoking current visas as well.
- 5:26Speaker 3: And keep in mind is over one hundred thousand Chinese
- 5:28Speaker 3: students here.
- 5:28Speaker 5: Here to discuss is Arkansas Center Center and Harvard grad Center.
- 5:33Speaker 3: Tom Cotton the Center.
- 5:34Speaker 5: First off, on the ban of those nations, how do
- 5:37Speaker 5: you feel about it?
- 5:38Speaker 6: I command the President for implementing this badly needed and
- 5:41Speaker 6: overdue ban on countries where we really can't vet anyone.
- 5:45Speaker 6: Countries have a history of known violence and terrorism. Take
- 5:49Speaker 6: for instance, Haiti and Somalia. You have gang violence that
- 5:54Speaker 6: is basically controlling all of Haiti. You have Islamic terrorism
- 5:57Speaker 6: across Somalia, and what does it even mean to someone
- 6:00Speaker 6: from those countries. There's no governing institutions there that can
- 6:04Speaker 6: do background checks. This has long been a lie from
- 6:08Speaker 6: the left wing about how we're going to do background
- 6:11Speaker 6: checks on illegal immigrants or people coming from dangerous countries.
- 6:14Speaker 6: It's simply not possible. I mean, consider what we do
- 6:17Speaker 6: for young Americans who want to go in the military
- 6:19Speaker 6: or the law enforcement. You know, they have to say
- 6:21Speaker 6: where they've lived. You call up the police departments, you
- 6:24Speaker 6: call the state police, You do background checks, You make
- 6:26Speaker 6: sure they're suited for the job. There are no institutions
- 6:29Speaker 6: in many of these countries where you can do these things.
- 6:31Speaker 6: So this is another common sense victory for President Trump
- 6:34Speaker 6: and America Safety.
- 6:35Speaker 5: Center Congressman Dan Goldman says, it's because they're not white,
- 6:40Speaker 5: that's why Trump is looking to ban and limit them.
- 6:43Speaker 6: No, it's because they're dangerous and they could get us killed.
- 6:45Speaker 6: We saw over the weekend in Boulder, Colorado, the danger
- 6:48Speaker 6: of having foreign nationals coming into this country without being
- 6:52Speaker 6: properly vetted. In many countries they can't be properly vetted.
- 6:55Speaker 6: We shouldn't allow people in from those countries if they're
- 6:58Speaker 6: going to pose a risk Americans.
- 7:00Speaker 1: So one thing is for sure on this travel band,
- 7:04Speaker 1: the left is going to tell you that this is
- 7:06Speaker 1: racist and bigoted, and this is banning people based on
- 7:10Speaker 1: the color of their skin that are going to play
- 7:12Speaker 1: the race card, So be ready for it. The second
- 7:16Speaker 1: thing is this is absolutely the right thing to do
- 7:18Speaker 1: by the President of the United States of America. We've
- 7:21Speaker 1: actually had travel bands on these countries before, and I'm
- 7:25Speaker 1: telling you this is what the left and the media
- 7:28Speaker 1: are going to do.
- 7:29Speaker 3: They're going to say that this is racist.
- 7:31Speaker 1: What the President's clearly trying to do is protect American
- 7:34Speaker 1: citizens and also make sure that there is proper vetting.
- 7:37Speaker 1: There is not proper vetting for many of the countries
- 7:40Speaker 1: that were listed at all. We don't know exactly what
- 7:43Speaker 1: these people may have done in their countries before they're
- 7:47Speaker 1: coming to America. We should know a lot more before
- 7:51Speaker 1: we allow them in. And then there's the third aspect
- 7:55Speaker 1: of this. Many of the people that come from these
- 7:57Speaker 1: countries deliberately overstay. They're welcome in the US, they overstay
- 8:03Speaker 1: their visas. So why would we keep giving visas out
- 8:06Speaker 1: to people from certain countries that abuse the system the
- 8:09Speaker 1: way that it's being abused. You look at all of
- 8:12Speaker 1: this and what the President is simply trying to do
- 8:15Speaker 1: is make sure that we don't have more of the
- 8:17Speaker 1: situations that we just had in Colorado. We also have
- 8:21Speaker 1: another reason why the travel band should be put in
- 8:24Speaker 1: place and you should support it, and that is this,
- 8:28Speaker 1: we have far too many people in this country illegally
- 8:31Speaker 1: right now. We have far too many people from many
- 8:33Speaker 1: of these nations that we're talking about that are in
- 8:36Speaker 1: this country that are overstaying their visas right now. We
- 8:39Speaker 1: must clean up the mess in this country. Instead of
- 8:44Speaker 1: bringing in more people, we have to clean up our
- 8:48Speaker 1: mess that we allowed to happen under the last administration.
- 8:52Speaker 1: There are millions and millions of illegal immigrants in this country.
- 8:57Speaker 1: Many of them are three to our national security. We
- 9:02Speaker 1: have ICE that is working around the clock to try
- 9:04Speaker 1: to take the worst of them out of this country
- 9:07Speaker 1: and to port them. We have a broken system, even
- 9:11Speaker 1: with a border now that's very secure. We must fix
- 9:16Speaker 1: the problem before we allow so many more people to
- 9:20Speaker 1: keep coming in at a high rate of visa overstay.
- 9:25Speaker 1: So I got to say this is a smart move
- 9:28Speaker 1: by the president. I actually think this is something that's overdue.
- 9:32Speaker 1: It's sad that it took the terrorist attack in Colorado
- 9:35Speaker 1: to get us to the point we could do this again.
- 9:38Speaker 1: But I'm glad that we're doing it now. And for
- 9:40Speaker 1: anyone that criticized the President for doing this, I got
- 9:43Speaker 1: to ask you the question, whose side are you on
- 9:46Speaker 1: the safety of the American people are the side of
- 9:49Speaker 1: the terrorists that are coming into this country and exploiting
- 9:51Speaker 1: our system. The Trump administration is very upset right now
- 9:57Speaker 1: with many American universities who are allowing anti Semitism to
- 10:02Speaker 1: explode on college campuses. Colombia is a perfect example of this,
- 10:08Speaker 1: where a protester and self proclaimed Jew hater, we now
- 10:12Speaker 1: have learned, had direct links to Hamas Terra cell. This
- 10:16Speaker 1: coming from disturbing phone records as the DOJ is.
- 10:20Speaker 3: Revealing all of this.
- 10:22Speaker 1: A Jew hater quote unquote who protested against Israel on
- 10:26Speaker 1: Columbia University's campus and contemplated, we now have learned setting
- 10:31Speaker 1: a student on fire allegedly had a direct link to
- 10:35Speaker 1: the Hamas Deadly al Casombrigade militant group. The post is
- 10:41Speaker 1: now revealing the man is now a wedding trial after
- 10:45Speaker 1: being indicted on three federal hate crimes against Jewish people.
- 10:49Speaker 1: He was a member of a chat group that received
- 10:52Speaker 1: regular updates from the terrorist organization as well, and the
- 10:56Speaker 1: accusation is the first evidence of an adjutator receiving information
- 11:02Speaker 1: directly from Hamas and taking action during protests on the
- 11:07Speaker 1: University of Columbia campus.
- 11:10Speaker 3: Now the individual was twenty.
- 11:12Speaker 1: I want to be clear he was not a Columbia student,
- 11:15Speaker 1: but he was on the campus protesting. He frequently wore
- 11:19Speaker 1: the green headband used by Hamas Terras and boasted to
- 11:23Speaker 1: friends about having relatives overseas who were actually a part
- 11:27Speaker 1: of the terror group. This all coming from the DOJ
- 11:31Speaker 1: court filing. While on Columbia's campus during protests in April
- 11:37Speaker 1: of last year, the individual allegedly Texas palse saying he
- 11:40Speaker 1: lit a flare and considered lighting someone on fire, but
- 11:44Speaker 1: that there was quote too many people around him to
- 11:47Speaker 1: take on otherwise he would have hurt them. A Columbia
- 11:51Speaker 1: University said it has quote no record of the man
- 11:54Speaker 1: being on campus and wanted to quote be clear that
- 11:57Speaker 1: this individual is not affiliated with our universe in any way.
- 12:01Speaker 1: All right, so why did you allow him to protest
- 12:03Speaker 1: on your campus? The university added that the school quote
- 12:07Speaker 1: strongly condemns anti Semitism and violence, and we are horrified
- 12:12Speaker 1: by the violence and hate crimes described in the incident. Well,
- 12:16Speaker 1: you can say that all you want, but the reality
- 12:18Speaker 1: is Columbia University has allowed this hate to grow on
- 12:22Speaker 1: its campus, which brings me to the second part of
- 12:25Speaker 1: the story. The Trump administration is now escalating pressure on Colombia,
- 12:32Speaker 1: as the Education Department is questioning the university's accreditation altogether.
- 12:38Speaker 3: Here's more of the story from Fox News.
- 12:42Speaker 7: The Trump administration is not backing down as it continues
- 12:45Speaker 7: its crackdown on campus anti semitism. The State Department is
- 12:49Speaker 7: vowing to investigate the visa status of anti Israel protesters
- 12:53Speaker 7: who were arrested after storming the school library this week.
- 12:57Speaker 8: The nature of our promise that people who are in
- 13:00Speaker 8: this country with a visa ange laws or affect the
- 13:05Speaker 8: nature of what's important to our country when it comes
- 13:08Speaker 8: to our foreign policy and national security, will be acted
- 13:11Speaker 8: on in that regard. And yes, he said it, and
- 13:14Speaker 8: I believe them, and that's the word you can take
- 13:16Speaker 8: for it.
- 13:18Speaker 7: Let's bring in Ellie Kohanum, senior fellow at the Independent
- 13:21Speaker 7: Women's Forum and former US Deputy Special Envoy to combat
- 13:24Speaker 7: anti Semitism. Ellie, this turmoil at Columbia has been going
- 13:30Speaker 7: on for quite a while now.
- 13:31Speaker 3: How would you.
- 13:32Speaker 7: Assess the administration, the Columbia administration's efforts to try to
- 13:39Speaker 7: squelch anti Semitism on campus?
- 13:42Speaker 4: John, We are now nineteen months into this despicable, violent
- 13:46Speaker 4: and pro terror movement that's taking place all across our campus.
- 13:51Speaker 4: Is that at Columbia University, which is my own shameful
- 13:54Speaker 4: alma mater, And I would tell you that, yes, what
- 13:57Speaker 4: we saw at Butler Library was a midly eighty arrests
- 14:01Speaker 4: were made. And any movement that we're seeing that's progress
- 14:04Speaker 4: towards shutting down this anti Semitic movement is because there's
- 14:07Speaker 4: a new sheriff in town. Because we've got President Donald J.
- 14:10Speaker 4: Trump back in the White House and his administration has
- 14:13Speaker 4: taken forceful steps as he promised us on the campaign trail.
- 14:18Speaker 4: So what we are seeing right now is, yes, the
- 14:21Speaker 4: promise that there are foreign elements in our country that
- 14:24Speaker 4: are here to undermine our society, and so foreign students
- 14:27Speaker 4: who are here on visa, they will be deported for
- 14:31Speaker 4: supporting a pro terror movement on our soil. They are
- 14:35Speaker 4: not welcome here, as Secretary Ruby on the President have said.
- 14:38Speaker 9: But the other element.
- 14:39Speaker 4: Here is, of course, the power of the purse. And
- 14:42Speaker 4: what we're seeing is a Trump administration letting the universities
- 14:45Speaker 4: know that they will be cutting federal funds. In the
- 14:48Speaker 4: case of Columbia University that's already four hundred million dollars.
- 14:51Speaker 4: If they are unnoticed that they they are losing. And
- 14:55Speaker 4: there are talks taking place with Columbia University between the
- 14:58Speaker 4: Trump administration and the university. And so I think the
- 15:02Speaker 4: only reason we're seeing some progress at Columbia is because
- 15:06Speaker 4: they understand that they are about to lose not only
- 15:09Speaker 4: four hundred million dollars in federal grant, but also they
- 15:12Speaker 4: have the possibility of losing billions of dollars in federal funding.
- 15:16Speaker 7: John Congresswoman Elise Stephanic says that schools like Columbia just
- 15:22Speaker 7: aren't paying attention here listen to what she has to say.
- 15:26Speaker 10: And the fact that these universities have allowed that to
- 15:28Speaker 10: perpetuate shows that they have been incapable of showing strong
- 15:32Speaker 10: leadership to allow safety for students, and they've allowed this
- 15:35Speaker 10: anti semitism to continue to rise. The US taxpayers do
- 15:39Speaker 10: not want their dollars to prop up institutions that are
- 15:42Speaker 10: unsafe for Jewish students, and that has been the case
- 15:44Speaker 10: at places like Columbia.
- 15:47Speaker 7: Would you agree with what the congresswoman has to say?
- 15:50Speaker 7: You said, you yourself are a Columbia.
- 15:51Speaker 4: Graduate, exactly right. Well, I couldn't agree with Representative Stephonic. More,
- 15:57Speaker 4: the American taxpayer is not interested in funding universities that
- 16:01Speaker 4: have become hotbeds of anti Semitism and frankly anti Americanism.
- 16:06Speaker 4: The student group that organized this Butler Library Takeover has
- 16:10Speaker 4: issued manifestos where they are literally calling for violence and
- 16:14Speaker 4: literally supporting terror movements that the United States has designated
- 16:19Speaker 4: as foreign terrorist organizations. And so we cannot have any
- 16:23Speaker 4: tolerance for this, for this violent movement, everything that we're
- 16:29Speaker 4: seeing stands against American values. And I want to tell
- 16:32Speaker 4: you something, John, Ironically, May is Jewish American Heritage Month.
- 16:36Speaker 4: President Trump issued a proclamation back in May twenty noting
- 16:41Speaker 4: the month and celebrating Jewish Americans, and so I really
- 16:45Speaker 4: encourage everyone to take a look at Jewish American Heritage
- 16:48Speaker 4: dot org learn about how Jewish Americans have contributed to
- 16:52Speaker 4: our country and have helped to make our country a
- 16:55Speaker 4: great place for all of our citizens. But again, you know,
- 16:59Speaker 4: we're going to see the true administration, I think, continue
- 17:01Speaker 4: to take.
- 17:02Speaker 9: Very forceful action hold.
- 17:04Speaker 4: The universities accountable. In the case of Columbia, not only
- 17:07Speaker 4: is it the risk of students, the foreign students being deported,
- 17:10Speaker 4: the risk of losing federal funding, but also the administration
- 17:14Speaker 4: has told Columbia they want to put the Middle East
- 17:17Speaker 4: Department under receivership, which is very bold action and necessary
- 17:23Speaker 4: because what we're finding out from students themselves, is that
- 17:26Speaker 4: in the classroom they are actually being indoctrinated to hate
- 17:31Speaker 4: America and to hate the Jewish state of Israel. And
- 17:35Speaker 4: so all of this action is very welcomed, I think
- 17:38Speaker 4: by all Americans who want to finally see an end
- 17:41Speaker 4: to this anti Semitism.
- 17:43Speaker 1: One thing's for sure, the Trump administration isn't screwing around
- 17:46Speaker 1: with anti Semitism on college campuses, and they're going to
- 17:49Speaker 1: make it hurt for universities that refuse to rein it
- 17:53Speaker 1: in Now, the Department of Education's Office of Civil Rights
- 17:57Speaker 1: has sent an official notice to the crediting body that
- 18:01Speaker 1: audience Columbia University, notifying that the Ivy League school is
- 18:06Speaker 1: currently failing to meet its standards for accreditation. The Middle
- 18:10Speaker 1: States Commission on Higher Education, which is a recognized accredit
- 18:14Speaker 1: body for degree granting higher education institutions across the Mid Atlantic,
- 18:20Speaker 1: ensures that its members schools such as Columbia meet established
- 18:23Speaker 1: standards of academic quality, integrity, institutional effectiveness, and more well.
- 18:30Speaker 3: They are one of.
- 18:31Speaker 1: Several accrediting institutions across the country that the Department of
- 18:36Speaker 1: Education deems reliable. Now, only institutions accredited by the Department
- 18:41Speaker 1: of Education recognize that creditors are eligible to participate in
- 18:47Speaker 1: Title nine federal financial aid programs such as PEL grants
- 18:51Speaker 1: and federal work study or student loan programs as well.
- 18:55Speaker 3: So this notice is.
- 18:57Speaker 1: Marking the latest escalation that Trump Administration's efforts to hold
- 19:02Speaker 1: Colombia accountable for number one, failing to tamp down anti
- 19:06Speaker 1: semitism on its campuses. And they're making it clear you
- 19:12Speaker 1: want to be investigated, fine, we will do it. They
- 19:15Speaker 1: launched an investigation to Colombia in February, and the Trump
- 19:19Speaker 1: administration opted to cancel four hundred million and federal grants
- 19:24Speaker 1: over the university's failure to protect Jewish students from anti
- 19:28Speaker 1: Semitic harassment.
- 19:29Speaker 3: And that is a direct quote now.
- 19:32Speaker 1: Subsequently, Colombia agreed to make changes, they claim in an
- 19:37Speaker 1: effort to prevent funds from being canceled. The school quote
- 19:41Speaker 1: took steps to overhaul its policies around protests, around safety
- 19:46Speaker 1: and security, while also reorganizing its Middle Eastern Studies department.
- 19:52Speaker 3: Now.
- 19:53Speaker 1: The changes also include adopting a new campus wide definition
- 19:56Speaker 1: of anti semitism. And the fact that that we're even
- 19:59Speaker 1: having to to do this in twenty twenty five is
- 20:02Speaker 1: just totally insane now. Also last month, Colombia said it
- 20:06Speaker 1: would be cutting around one hundred and eighty staff members
- 20:08Speaker 1: in an effort to preserve the university's financial flexibility. So
- 20:13Speaker 1: you wonder how blow to these campuses are and how
- 20:16Speaker 1: much money they're wasting of your tax dollars. That should
- 20:19Speaker 1: tell you also everything you need to know. So well
- 20:23Speaker 1: done to the Trump administration for doing this. They're not
- 20:26Speaker 1: holding back and they're stopping anti Semitism, especially when your
- 20:31Speaker 1: tax dollars are going to these universities that have been
- 20:33Speaker 1: looking the other way for far too long. The violent
- 20:38Speaker 1: attack that occurred during that peaceful demonstration Boulder, Colorado organized
- 20:44Speaker 1: by the group Run for Their Lives, which advocates for
- 20:48Speaker 1: the release of Israeli hostages that are being held to
- 20:51Speaker 1: this day in Gaza, we now know a lot more
- 20:55Speaker 1: about the man who is the terrorist that committed this attack.
- 21:00Speaker 1: The assailant has been identified as a forty five year
- 21:04Speaker 1: old Muhammad Solomon. He used a makeshift flamethrower in molotov
- 21:09Speaker 1: cocktails to target the seniors that were participating in the
- 21:14Speaker 1: weekly event. He injured eight individuals, ages between fifty two
- 21:20Speaker 1: and eighty eight. One of the victims, is a Holocaust survivor,
- 21:26Speaker 1: and at least one person at this moment remains in
- 21:30Speaker 1: critical condition. Soliman is an Egyptian national residing in Colorado Springs.
- 21:37Speaker 1: We now know that he entered the US on a
- 21:40Speaker 1: B two tourist visa in August of twenty twenty two
- 21:44Speaker 1: under the Biden Harrish regime that expired in February of
- 21:49Speaker 1: twenty twenty three. He then applied for asylum in September,
- 21:54Speaker 1: and his application was still penning at the time of
- 21:56Speaker 1: the attack. Authorities reported that so had been living in
- 22:01Speaker 1: the country illegally, and that is part of the story
- 22:05Speaker 1: that the media doesn't want to talk about now. According
- 22:09Speaker 1: to these new court documents, Solomon admitted number one to
- 22:14Speaker 1: planning the attack for over a year while he was
- 22:18Speaker 1: claiming asylum and here illegally. He said he was motivated
- 22:22Speaker 1: by extremists anti Zionist sentiments. He expressed a desire to
- 22:27Speaker 1: quote kill all Zionist people, in other words, all the Jews,
- 22:32Speaker 1: and showed no remorse, stating he would do it again.
- 22:36Speaker 1: Solomon had researched how to make the cocktails on YouTube
- 22:40Speaker 1: and initially intended to use a firearm, but was unable
- 22:43Speaker 1: to purchase one due to his immigration status. Again, he's
- 22:47Speaker 1: an illegal immigrant. During the attack at the Pearl Street Mall,
- 22:52Speaker 1: the man dressed as a gardener shouted Free Palestine and
- 22:56Speaker 1: other anti israel slogans as he threw the scendiary devices
- 23:01Speaker 1: into the crowd of elderly people. Police recovered at least
- 23:05Speaker 1: fourteen unlt mama Toov cocktails and a gasline filled weed
- 23:12Speaker 1: sprayer at the scene as a flamethrower as well. White
- 23:17Speaker 1: House Press segretary going on Fox News channel to say.
- 23:20Speaker 11: This, well, FBI Director Cash Patel is absolutely right, and
- 23:24Speaker 11: the President just put out a very strong statement condemning
- 23:27Speaker 11: this attack. This terrorist came into our country under the
- 23:31Speaker 11: previous administration. Joe Biden's administration foolishly gave him a tourist
- 23:36Speaker 11: visa and that allowed him to unlawfully remain in our country.
- 23:40Speaker 11: This individual should have been deported, instead, he was welcomed
- 23:43Speaker 11: here and now, three years later after coming to this
- 23:46Speaker 11: country under Joe Biden's administration, he is lighting Jewish people
- 23:50Speaker 11: on fire who were simply trying to peacefully pay respect
- 23:54Speaker 11: to the hostages in Israel. This absolutely is an act
- 23:58Speaker 11: of targeted terrorism. The FBI and the Department of Justice
- 24:01Speaker 11: are investigating it as such, and the President is going
- 24:05Speaker 11: to ensure that this individual is held to the fullest
- 24:07Speaker 11: extent of the law. And not just this individual, but
- 24:10Speaker 11: any individual, especially illegal criminals, who engage in acts of terrorism,
- 24:15Speaker 11: will be held accountable under this president.
- 24:17Speaker 1: Now, the White House Press here, Terry, I couldn't agree
- 24:19Speaker 1: with her more in what she said there, and I'm
- 24:21Speaker 1: going to play more of what she also said at
- 24:23Speaker 1: a press conference earlier in a moment, but let me
- 24:25Speaker 1: tell you more about the charges. So, Ammon has been
- 24:28Speaker 1: charged with multiple offenses now, including federal hate crimes and
- 24:33Speaker 1: attempted murder. He's currently in custody with a bond set
- 24:36Speaker 1: at ten million. The FBI is treating the incident as
- 24:39Speaker 1: a targeted act of terrorism, and investigations are quote ongoing
- 24:43Speaker 1: to determine any potential extremist affiliations. Now, the attack has
- 24:48Speaker 1: also drawn widespread condemnation from public officials and community leaders,
- 24:53Speaker 1: highlighting concerns over rising anti Semitic violence and broader implications
- 24:59Speaker 1: of idea logical extremism in the United States of America.
- 25:03Speaker 1: Which brings me back to the White House Press secretary
- 25:07Speaker 1: and what she said about what the last administration has done.
- 25:11Speaker 9: Is there concern in.
- 25:12Speaker 10: The administration that there could possibly be some sleeper sales
- 25:15Speaker 10: here in the United States?
- 25:17Speaker 9: What type of pattern is the administration looking at as
- 25:20Speaker 9: far as terror sales.
- 25:22Speaker 11: Well, there's certainly a concern that the previous administration allowed
- 25:25Speaker 11: way too many terrorists and illegal immigrants into the interior
- 25:29Speaker 11: of our country. And that's why the Department of Homeland
- 25:31Speaker 11: Security is working over time to arrest, detain, and support
- 25:35Speaker 11: as many illegal criminals and terrorists that we can in
- 25:38Speaker 11: the United States of America, and any act of violence
- 25:40Speaker 11: will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
- 25:43Speaker 1: There are certainly a concern that the previous administration allowed
- 25:46Speaker 1: way too many Notice she didn't say legal immigrants, she
- 25:49Speaker 1: said way too many terrorists into the interior of our country.
- 25:54Speaker 1: She is distinguishing a difference between people that were illegal
- 25:58Speaker 1: immigrants that were let in and actual terrorists that were
- 26:01Speaker 1: let in.
- 26:02Speaker 3: The White House.
- 26:03Speaker 1: Presidenty also speaking directly to Jewish people in this country
- 26:07Speaker 1: as well, what.
- 26:08Speaker 4: Can you say to the Jewish community today to ensure
- 26:10Speaker 4: that the White House is doing everything I can and
- 26:12Speaker 4: keep up safe after the horrific attack in Boulder, and
- 26:15Speaker 4: also the two Israeli Empathy staff.
- 26:18Speaker 9: Who were targeted just last week here in our nation's capital.
- 26:21Speaker 11: Yeah, we have seen two horrific cases of anti Semitic
- 26:25Speaker 11: violence in our country in the last two weeks and
- 26:27Speaker 11: it is unacceptable.
- 26:29Speaker 9: To this President and this White House, and.
- 26:31Speaker 11: Rest assured to all Jewish Americans across our great country.
- 26:34Speaker 11: This President has your back and he's not going to
- 26:37Speaker 11: allow anyone.
- 26:38Speaker 9: To take part in violent terrorism.
- 26:41Speaker 11: It's acts of terrorism in our country and that's what
- 26:44Speaker 11: this case in Boulder, Colorado is being investigated. As kudos
- 26:48Speaker 11: to our FBI Director Cash Pattel for immediately calling this
- 26:51Speaker 11: a targeted terrorist attack.
- 26:53Speaker 9: That's clearly what it was.
- 26:54Speaker 11: But I'd also like to point out that this administration
- 26:57Speaker 11: has done more than any administration and to curb this
- 27:01Speaker 11: violence and to curb a legal immigration. We secured our
- 27:04Speaker 11: border in record time, but we're also tightening up our
- 27:07Speaker 11: visa process and our legal immigration process.
- 27:10Speaker 9: And we know that this individual, this terrorist.
- 27:13Speaker 11: Was allowed into this country by the previous administration, was
- 27:16Speaker 11: foolishly given a tourism visa and then was illegally allowed
- 27:20Speaker 11: to stay. These individuals are going to be deported and
- 27:22Speaker 11: We're not going to tolerate such violence in our country.
- 27:25Speaker 1: We're not going to tolerate such violence in our country.
- 27:31Speaker 1: This is an act of terrorism now. The White House
- 27:34Speaker 1: Press Secretary also making it clear that the present is
- 27:37Speaker 1: not going to stand by and allow things like this
- 27:42Speaker 1: to happen. This is terrorism in our country. Under the
- 27:46Speaker 1: previous administration, Joe Biden administration foolishly gave a tourist visa
- 27:52Speaker 1: to a man and allowed him to remain unlawfully in
- 27:56Speaker 1: our country. This individual should have been deported instead ed
- 28:00Speaker 1: they welcomed him here and gave him a work visa.
- 28:04Speaker 1: You put all of this together, and it is abundantly
- 28:08Speaker 1: clear that the last administration knew what they were doing.
- 28:12Speaker 1: They knew it, folks. They knew they were letting in
- 28:15Speaker 1: people that were going to be terrorists. There's a real
- 28:18Speaker 1: concern now how many terrorists are in this country. This
- 28:21Speaker 1: is exactly why the President of the United States of
- 28:24Speaker 1: America said it this way in his post on social media, saying, quote,
- 28:28Speaker 1: yesterday's horrific attack in Boulder, Colorado will not be tolerated
- 28:32Speaker 1: in the United States of America. He came in through
- 28:35Speaker 1: Biden's ridiculous open border policy, which has hurt our country
- 28:39Speaker 1: so badly, he must go out. Under Trump policy, acts
- 28:45Speaker 1: of terrorism will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of
- 28:48Speaker 1: the law. This is yet another example of why we
- 28:50Speaker 1: must keep our border secure and deport illegal anti American
- 28:54Speaker 1: radicals from our homeland. My heart goes out to the
- 28:57Speaker 1: victims of this terrible tragedy and the great people of Boulder, Colorado.
- 29:02Speaker 1: There are two different thinkings in this country right now.
- 29:05Speaker 1: One of them is the way that it was just described. Okay,
- 29:09Speaker 1: I want to be clear of a president who's saying
- 29:11Speaker 1: we're not tilerating this. The other is, we don't care
- 29:14Speaker 1: who comes in this country as long as we fundamentally
- 29:16Speaker 1: change this country and flood this country with the legal immigrants.
- 29:18Speaker 3: And yes, we know that when we open the border
- 29:20Speaker 3: they are terrorists.
- 29:21Speaker 1: They're going to get through, and that means some of
- 29:23Speaker 1: you are going to die, and we're okay with it.
- 29:25Speaker 1: To fundamentally change this country regardless of the acts of
- 29:28Speaker 1: heinous terrorism that come because of an open border policy.
- 29:33Speaker 1: There is a difference between the two parties, and this
- 29:37Speaker 1: is the maybe the biggest difference of all. We're going
- 29:40Speaker 1: to cover it all every day for you. Make sure
- 29:43Speaker 1: you hit that subscribe auto dowload button and I will
- 29:45Speaker 1: see you back here tomorrow on the program
