- 0:24Speaker 1: listening to.
- 0:25Speaker 3: Me too, Joy Yeah, Joy, you know you.
- 1:06Speaker 4: Love you.
- 1:24Speaker 2: Gotta turn.
- 1:41Speaker 3: To turn the mouth turn you probably got to turn
- 1:44Speaker 3: mouth turn out the word of the money up.
- 1:49Speaker 5: Look me.
- 1:55Speaker 1: Come come on you.
- 2:01Speaker 2: Uh huh, I sure will.
- 2:03Speaker 6: Good morning everybody. You are listening to the voice, come
- 2:07Speaker 6: on dig me now. One and only Steve Harvey got
- 2:10Speaker 6: a radio show. Man, oh man, oh man? How good
- 2:14Speaker 6: is God to me? And part of the mission and
- 2:17Speaker 6: the reason that I have a radio show is to
- 2:21Speaker 6: become a share of more and more of a share
- 2:24Speaker 6: of you know, I just to hear my mother say
- 2:27Speaker 6: it to me all the time. But God blesses you
- 2:29Speaker 6: to become a blessing. And I think the more you
- 2:32Speaker 6: understand that about yourself, I think the more blessings will
- 2:35Speaker 6: flow your way. I think that once you understand the
- 2:38Speaker 6: principle that.
- 2:41Speaker 2: You know. But it's kind of tied together with some other.
- 2:44Speaker 6: Scriptures, and I'm not too knowledgeable about them, of course,
- 2:47Speaker 6: as usual, but I do know what I've heard, you know,
- 2:52Speaker 6: and you know, if you look at something simple as
- 2:54Speaker 6: do unto others as you would have them do unto you.
- 2:58Speaker 6: Wouldn't you want somebody to help you if you needed help.
- 3:02Speaker 6: I just know how to get it down there to
- 3:04Speaker 6: where I've been able to understand it. If there's a
- 3:08Speaker 6: scripture similar that it says do unto others as you
- 3:12Speaker 6: would have them do unto you, or if that's you
- 3:17Speaker 6: know in a prayer, would not you want somebody to
- 3:21Speaker 6: help you if you needed help? You've heard you reap
- 3:27Speaker 6: what you sow? Do you understand that if you so discord,
- 3:33Speaker 6: that discord is gonna come your way. That if you hate,
- 3:37Speaker 6: hate gonna.
- 3:38Speaker 2: Come your way.
- 3:39Speaker 6: If you blog nothing but negative comments about people, your
- 3:43Speaker 6: life will be filled with negativity. If all you do
- 3:47Speaker 6: is talk about people, then guess what somebody got to
- 3:50Speaker 6: turn that gun around and talk about you.
- 3:54Speaker 2: See, it just stands to reason. So what I've learned
- 3:57Speaker 2: in my life and.
- 3:59Speaker 6: Through all the trials and tribulations that I've had, is
- 4:02Speaker 6: to take those lessons and share them with people in
- 4:07Speaker 6: case you ain't heard it from somebody else. See sometimes,
- 4:11Speaker 6: and the reason it seems like I'm redundant at times
- 4:14Speaker 6: is what I am is because I'm always trying to
- 4:17Speaker 6: find a different way to say the same thing. Because
- 4:21Speaker 6: it's a funny thing. Man, you got to hear it
- 4:23Speaker 6: a certain way for it to click with you. How
- 4:27Speaker 6: many times have I heard a saying and then I
- 4:32Speaker 6: heard it a different way that it clicked with me?
- 4:37Speaker 6: You know, I've heard of this saying right here. Remember
- 4:41Speaker 6: this now, everybody's not happy for you. We've all heard that,
- 4:45Speaker 6: right everybody's not happy for you. Well, that's very simple.
- 4:50Speaker 6: I don't need no explanation. That simply means of all
- 4:54Speaker 6: the people you know or do not know, when something
- 4:58Speaker 6: happens to you and you celebrate, everybody not gonna join
- 5:02Speaker 6: in on the celebration. That's all that is. But then
- 5:06Speaker 6: you take it one step further. My father used to
- 5:08Speaker 6: say something to me all the time. He says, son,
- 5:10Speaker 6: everybody come with you, can't go with you. I didn't
- 5:13Speaker 6: get that when I was fifteen. Everybody come with you
- 5:15Speaker 6: can't go with you. He said, you're gonna lose some
- 5:18Speaker 6: of these friends you got along the way. But I
- 5:21Speaker 6: don't care where you get in life. Know this right here,
- 5:25Speaker 6: everybody can't go with you if you are constantly trying
- 5:28Speaker 6: to improve yourself. You constantly have to take assessment of
- 5:32Speaker 6: the people around you, because if you are going to
- 5:35Speaker 6: continue to go and continue to grow, then guess what
- 5:39Speaker 6: you got to have people that's on the goal and
- 5:41Speaker 6: willing to grow, or else, guess what you're gonna learn
- 5:47Speaker 6: the valuable lesson. You know, the late boxing promoter Butcher Lewis.
- 5:52Speaker 6: I was talking with Butcher Lewis one time, and man
- 5:55Speaker 6: with a good brother. Man, He say, every successful man
- 5:59Speaker 6: is due on what I call he got rope work
- 6:01Speaker 6: to do. He got rope work to do. He got
- 6:05Speaker 6: to put in work on rope. And I'm sitting there
- 6:08Speaker 6: listening to Butch Lewis and all the money he had
- 6:11Speaker 6: made and all the people's lives he had changed, and
- 6:13Speaker 6: all of the moves he was making. And he's an
- 6:15Speaker 6: incredible skills as a negotiator on behalf of some very
- 6:19Speaker 6: very wealthy people. He was just an amazing man with
- 6:23Speaker 6: no education, but he read everything. He Butch Lewis read
- 6:26Speaker 6: all the papers, all the periodicals. That brother knew everything.
- 6:31Speaker 6: He said, you got to put in rope. And I
- 6:34Speaker 6: was sitting there listening. He said, here's the analogy, little brother.
- 6:37Speaker 6: He said, you are on rope. There's a thick rope.
- 6:41Speaker 6: You have on no shirt, you have on some tattered clothes.
- 6:46Speaker 6: You have on no shoes. Your shorts is cut off
- 6:49Speaker 6: just below the knee, and they tatted, and you got
- 6:52Speaker 6: dirt on you and your sweating. There's this huge, huge
- 6:56Speaker 6: raw rope over your shoulder. There's burn marks on all
- 7:00Speaker 6: your shoulder. Connected to that rope is a wagon. That
- 7:04Speaker 6: wagon has all your weight on it, all your responsibilities,
- 7:09Speaker 6: all the people you're responsible for, all your children, your wife,
- 7:14Speaker 6: your family members, your employees, your coworkers, your friends. They
- 7:19Speaker 6: all on that wagon. Man, they just sitting there. He's saying,
- 7:23Speaker 6: what you gotta do is you gotta pull that wagon.
- 7:26Speaker 2: Up the heel.
- 7:27Speaker 6: Now, only thing with it is can't nobody help you
- 7:29Speaker 6: pull your wagon?
- 7:31Speaker 2: You pull your wagon alone.
- 7:34Speaker 6: He say, Now, what you can do along the way
- 7:36Speaker 6: of pulling your wagon is you can find yourself a
- 7:39Speaker 6: good wife, a good woman. He say, Now, what that
- 7:42Speaker 6: woman does is she get down off the wagon. She
- 7:45Speaker 6: fan you while you pull it. She put water on
- 7:48Speaker 6: you while you pull it. She puts stuff in your
- 7:50Speaker 6: mouth while you pull it. She kicked rocks out the
- 7:52Speaker 6: weight while you pull it.
- 7:54Speaker 2: But she but she pull it for you.
- 7:56Speaker 6: But she is equally as important as you are on
- 7:59Speaker 6: the pull the rope. He say, you hear me clearly now,
- 8:02Speaker 6: young soldier, He said, nah, I got this here, he says,
- 8:05Speaker 6: people on your wagon.
- 8:06Speaker 2: That you're responsible for.
- 8:08Speaker 6: But you want the people on your wagon to help
- 8:11Speaker 6: you get your wagon to the top. So what you
- 8:14Speaker 6: hope is that they got their foot hanging over the
- 8:17Speaker 6: side pushing, They got one leg over the back, or
- 8:20Speaker 6: maybe both legs over the back pushing. They got they
- 8:23Speaker 6: might have their butt on the wagon, but they push
- 8:26Speaker 6: you with both legs they back facing your back, maybe
- 8:29Speaker 6: some of them facing you when one.
- 8:30Speaker 2: Of them got left leg hanging over trying to push.
- 8:33Speaker 6: And you hope that all them people on the wagon
- 8:36Speaker 6: you pulling is back there at least trying to help
- 8:38Speaker 6: the wagon get to the top of the hill.
- 8:40Speaker 2: Here go your problem.
- 8:41Speaker 6: Though everybody ain't pushing, Everybody ain't pulling. Ain't everybody ain't pulling,
- 8:47Speaker 6: Everybody ain't kicking rocks out the way. You got some
- 8:50Speaker 6: people on your wagon that's just laying on the wagon,
- 8:53Speaker 6: draking lemonade, looking at you, talking about how long it's
- 8:57Speaker 6: taking you to get your wagon up to the top.
- 9:00Speaker 6: Looking at you, talking about why this wagon is so slow.
- 9:03Speaker 6: Then when you start picking up picking up speed, they
- 9:06Speaker 6: want you to pull harder, you to pull faster, you
- 9:09Speaker 6: to pull MO. Then they want you to throw what
- 9:11Speaker 6: you then earned on the way up the hill backed
- 9:14Speaker 6: on the wagon so they can have MO.
- 9:16Speaker 2: But guess what, they ain't helping you get more.
- 9:18Speaker 6: But they got a sense of entitlement that since you
- 9:20Speaker 6: got MO, they should have MO.
- 9:23Speaker 2: Everybody come with you can't go with you.
- 9:26Speaker 6: Sometimes you gotta kick the people off the wagon that
- 9:29Speaker 6: ain't pushing and pull it and say, hey man, I'm sorry.
- 9:32Speaker 6: I thought I could do this with you, and I
- 9:34Speaker 6: thought you was going with me. But it's clear to
- 9:36Speaker 6: me you ain't nothing but dead weight, and it ain't
- 9:39Speaker 6: my responsibility to carry dead weight anymore. I have carried
- 9:42Speaker 6: you as long as I have to carry you. You
- 9:45Speaker 6: are no longer my responsibility. I'm responsible for my family,
- 9:49Speaker 6: my wife, my children. I'm not responsible for you. You
- 9:52Speaker 6: got to get off my wagon because I'm a man
- 9:54Speaker 6: on rope.
- 9:55Speaker 2: I'm on a mission. Baby, I'm pulling.
- 9:57Speaker 1: You're listening hard, Morning show.
- 10:02Speaker 6: Let me have your divided attention again. Another gift from
- 10:05Speaker 6: God just got here. Oh man, another great day, man,
- 10:10Speaker 6: Thank you Lord. I really appreciate it, man, I really
- 10:13Speaker 6: really do. I kid you not. I do appreciate it.
- 10:16Speaker 7: Man.
- 10:16Speaker 6: Every day you let me wake up, that's a gift.
- 10:19Speaker 6: That's a sign from God that he ain't through with
- 10:21Speaker 6: you yet, because if he was through with you, it'd
- 10:23Speaker 6: be a rap.
- 10:24Speaker 2: Man.
- 10:25Speaker 6: Don't you realize, man, that when he gets you up
- 10:27Speaker 6: in the morning, he'll allow you to wake up. He
- 10:29Speaker 6: got something that you've yet to receive, and he wants
- 10:32Speaker 6: you to come and get it today.
- 10:33Speaker 2: But you got to.
- 10:34Speaker 6: Get it with some gratitude. You got to get it
- 10:36Speaker 6: with some honor. You got to get it with some prayer.
- 10:39Speaker 6: You gotta put some faith on this thing.
- 10:41Speaker 2: Man. Quit letting the devil rob you of your destiny.
- 10:45Speaker 2: He not gonna do it to me now. So I'm
- 10:47Speaker 2: too glad about it. Man.
- 10:48Speaker 6: I'm on my way to wherever God got for me. Hey,
- 10:51Speaker 6: I'm gonna tell y'all something this morning before I get started.
- 10:54Speaker 6: First of all, Shirley Strawberry calling for real Mississippi Monica
- 10:58Speaker 6: Junior government named Kills and the legend that is Nephew Tommy.
- 11:03Speaker 2: I got a.
- 11:04Speaker 6: Scripture this morning from Shelby. Shirley sends me scriptures every morning.
- 11:07Speaker 6: This is scripture she sent me, and I'm so glad
- 11:09Speaker 6: I'm just getting it. At sixty six she said, this
- 11:12Speaker 6: is the scriptures from Ephesians four point thirty one and
- 11:15Speaker 6: checked this out, y'all and said, get rid of all bitterness, rage, anger,
- 11:20Speaker 6: harsh words, and slander, as well as all types of
- 11:25Speaker 6: evil behavior.
- 11:26Speaker 2: I'm so glad I'm just not getting that scripture today.
- 11:30Speaker 6: Because that wash would have watched away my entire comedic career.
- 11:36Speaker 8: I would have.
- 11:38Speaker 2: Once and it's a comedy. God that never wrote half
- 11:41Speaker 2: the chokes I wrote.
- 11:43Speaker 6: Man, Thank you Lord for giving that scripture to me
- 11:46Speaker 6: late in life, because I was never bothered about getting
- 11:49Speaker 6: rid of bitterness and rage and anger and harsh words.
- 11:53Speaker 2: My whole comedic career was built on aspiration, harsh words.
- 12:00Speaker 6: Us I ain't mad, pout, so rage, exasperation, bidden, upset,
- 12:08Speaker 6: and any other type of evil behavior. Thank you Lord
- 12:12Speaker 6: for giving me that one way late in life. You
- 12:16Speaker 6: ain't saved my whole career.
- 12:18Speaker 2: Not knowing that.
- 12:21Speaker 6: There's a bright side to everything. Some things I just
- 12:24Speaker 6: didn't need to know. And Ephesians four point thirty.
- 12:30Speaker 2: One was one of them.
- 12:32Speaker 6: Now in this portion of my life, I need it,
- 12:35Speaker 6: as do a lot of you.
- 12:37Speaker 2: You need to get rid.
- 12:38Speaker 6: Of this pittedness and rage. Now I'm preaching now, I
- 12:40Speaker 6: see you tat rid of this bittedness.
- 12:42Speaker 1: And rain't have to do it.
- 12:45Speaker 6: Where you are as Yeah, because I'm sixty six, too
- 12:50Speaker 6: close to the tape now, I don't live longer than
- 12:53Speaker 6: I got left. Now, straighten up, Tell everybody stop all
- 12:56Speaker 6: this bitterness.
- 12:58Speaker 2: See now now I'm trying to get this high blood
- 13:00Speaker 2: pressure down. I'd like to yees, stop all this.

- 13:12Speaker 9: That's what I like.
- 13:13Speaker 2: Yeah, that's all right.
- 13:14Speaker 5: So you're telling me and Tommy that's what we need
- 13:17Speaker 5: to be doing now, y'all.

- 21:25Speaker 1: Diana and Philly said, you know.
- 21:27Speaker 11: What, I wonder he had turned around?
- 21:31Speaker 2: When you know what he means?
- 21:35Speaker 10: Diane and Philly says, I have to attend a conference
- 21:39Speaker 10: in Texas and I'm flying with my boss. He was
- 21:42Speaker 10: excited to find out that we're sitting next to each
- 21:44Speaker 10: other on the plane. I want to move to another
- 21:46Speaker 10: seat so I don't have to talk to him. What
- 21:49Speaker 10: excuse can I use for changing my seat.
- 21:52Speaker 6: Lord, I know just how you feel. I know exactly
- 21:55Speaker 6: how you feel. But let me tell you something. What
- 21:58Speaker 6: the only way you can do is you could you
- 22:00Speaker 6: try to include some of your coworkers that that can
- 22:04Speaker 6: help you, you know, change seats or something like that.
- 22:07Speaker 6: But they not gonna do it. Though, they not gonna
- 22:10Speaker 6: do it. They gonna leave you out there hanging dry
- 22:12Speaker 6: like they did me. They not gonna be able to
- 22:14Speaker 6: do it. So I know exactly what you mean. Now,
- 22:17Speaker 6: you're just gonna have to sit there that whole damn

- 22:26Speaker 6: And you gotta sit in here and act like you
- 22:28Speaker 6: interested all this here right here. Y'all ain't got nothing

- 22:33Speaker 6: get you ain't got the sale number. But you're gonna
- 22:35Speaker 6: sit your ass on that plane and act like you
- 22:38Speaker 6: all right and save your job.
- 22:40Speaker 2: That's what That's what I had to do.
- 22:42Speaker 6: That's what I had to do, and sit over there
- 22:44Speaker 6: and act like, you know, get them go to bathroom.
- 22:46Speaker 6: A lot of times, that's what I did to get
- 22:48Speaker 6: them go to bathroom.
- 22:51Speaker 2: All right, we're moving on. This weak bladder. Just say
- 22:55Speaker 2: stuff like that just came o. Listen no more. You

- 23:11Speaker 10: has a girlfriend. He still flirts a lot, so I'm
- 23:13Speaker 10: tired of the mixed signals. A girlfriend is not a wife.
- 23:17Speaker 10: So I feel like I have a chance to be
- 23:19Speaker 10: with him. Do I tell him how I feel?
- 23:21Speaker 6: Yeah, you got more than a chance to be with him.
- 23:23Speaker 6: You gonna be with him. He done told you he

- 23:42Speaker 6: What's happening? I'll see all right? But he got a girlfriend. Yeah,
- 23:46Speaker 6: but a girlfriend ain't a wife.
- 23:47Speaker 9: He know that.
- 23:50Speaker 2: And yeah, yeah, you're going out there and see so

- 23:53Speaker 1: Are you telling her to shoot her shot jomp shot.
- 23:55Speaker 6: You ain't going nowhere. He's gonna be the other girl.
- 23:58Speaker 6: He ain't got no shot. Yeah, just sign up.
- 24:01Speaker 2: That's what you're finna be. You're finna beat the other girl.

- 24:21Speaker 6: want to do is about that.
- 24:22Speaker 2: Yeah, but you gotta go. You want to hand it. Yeah,
- 24:25Speaker 2: and then you're.
- 24:26Speaker 6: Gonna go up there and try to move her out
- 24:28Speaker 6: since you close by. That's what you're gonna do. That's
- 24:31Speaker 6: what all y'all do. Y'all trying to act like y'all

- 25:07Speaker 10: ex wife send his daughter back home in a cheap
- 25:09Speaker 10: outfit that she bought. She didn't return the nice clothes
- 25:12Speaker 10: I sent her. She told my husband that I shouldn't
- 25:15Speaker 10: shop for her child. How do I effectively co parent

- 26:07Speaker 10: talk to him. And he changed his cell phone number.
- 26:10Speaker 10: Is this a sign that he no longer wants to
- 26:13Speaker 10: be bothered?
- 26:14Speaker 1: Or would he tell me?
- 26:17Speaker 2: He he told you?
- 26:20Speaker 8: What?

- 34:38Speaker 2: And everybody just look off, no jokes about it. Tell
- 34:44Speaker 2: you something else.
- 34:45Speaker 6: There ain't even nobody like, I know, this man died,
- 34:48Speaker 6: and condolences to his family and stuff. But ain't gonna

- 35:12Speaker 10: But I was gonna ask Junior Stevens, since you're younger, Junior,
- 35:15Speaker 10: have you ever seen The Exorcist?
- 35:18Speaker 1: Have you ever seen that movie?
- 35:19Speaker 7: Yes?
- 35:20Speaker 5: I know, but I know what that I bet he
- 35:23Speaker 5: bet not be up there when I get up there,
- 35:24Speaker 5: I know.
- 35:25Speaker 2: That he bet not be in heaven. You bet? Yeah,
- 35:27Speaker 2: I don't care.
- 35:29Speaker 1: I saw the girl free. I can't see you in
- 35:32Speaker 1: heaven with me.
- 35:35Speaker 11: You're supposed to tell him you love his work. That's
- 35:38Speaker 11: what you spoke. I love your work. Your work was incredible.
- 35:40Speaker 11: You're supposed to do that.
- 35:41Speaker 1: The movie right, all right?
- 35:43Speaker 10: Coming up in twenty minutes after the hour. Houston, Texas
- 35:46Speaker 10: social media influencer is free after being detained for months
- 35:50Speaker 10: in Dubai following an incident at a rental car agency.
- 35:53Speaker 1: We'll talk about that right after this. You're listening morning show. Well, guys.
- 36:00Speaker 10: Euston woman was permitted to leave the United Arab Emirates
- 36:03Speaker 10: and come home to the US after months of being
- 36:06Speaker 10: in Dubai when she was arrested for shouting in public
- 36:10Speaker 10: during an argument with a car rental company. Social media
- 36:13Speaker 10: influencer Tierra Allen, that is her name. She paid a
- 36:17Speaker 10: fee of about thirteen hundred dollars to have a travel
- 36:19Speaker 10: band lifted by authorities. Alan was arrested in May following
- 36:23Speaker 10: a confrontation with a mail employee of a car rental
- 36:26Speaker 10: company in Dubai.
- 36:27Speaker 1: She was told that the police station.
- 36:29Speaker 10: She was told at the police station that she had
- 36:31Speaker 10: been accused of shouting, which under UAES laws is illegal
- 36:36Speaker 10: under offensive and you could get up to two years
- 36:40Speaker 10: in prison and a fine and deportation. This case received
- 36:45Speaker 10: national attention, and the detained in Dubai International nonprofit organization
- 36:50Speaker 10: worked to secure Alan's release. So there you go for
- 36:54Speaker 10: shouting in public. Yeah, and she had this is a
- 36:57Speaker 10: woman that had the green hair and yeah, yeah, I
- 37:02Speaker 10: remember that.
- 37:03Speaker 7: Well.
- 37:03Speaker 1: The story got a lot of at tension.
- 37:05Speaker 13: We saw it on social media and it was kind
- 37:07Speaker 13: of like this message, Steve, that you talk about all
- 37:09Speaker 13: the time when you travel to foreign places.
- 37:13Speaker 1: You don't know the laws.
- 37:14Speaker 13: And you don't know the rules over there in other countries,
- 37:18Speaker 13: so you can't be you may not have that freedom
- 37:22Speaker 13: of speech like you.
- 37:23Speaker 1: Have over here, or that behavior.
- 37:25Speaker 6: Well see but see, but I don't want to dress
- 37:28Speaker 6: it up differently. See, we in America, we act as
- 37:33Speaker 6: though our rights are the best of any nation. The
- 37:36Speaker 6: freedom of speech, well, I think this country's too free.
- 37:41Speaker 6: You're free to carry arms, you free to sue whoever
- 37:45Speaker 6: you want to sue. You're free to talk about somebody
- 37:49Speaker 6: with no repercussions and consequences. Everybody ain't going for that
- 37:52Speaker 6: mess like we go for over here. So when you travel, no, no, no,
- 37:58Speaker 6: the room, you know, take a look at the room.
- 38:01Speaker 6: You know, read the room. You know, you learn that
- 38:03Speaker 6: as a comedian real quick. Read the room. I know
- 38:09Speaker 6: y'all don't like this, but I'll always go to stuff
- 38:12Speaker 6: like this. You're in a room with a lot of
- 38:14Speaker 6: really large people in it. Do you think that this
- 38:17Speaker 6: would be a time to do a lot of fat jokes?
- 38:21Speaker 6: You think this is good, We're gone, but see read
- 38:24Speaker 6: the room. So now when you go to these countries, man,
- 38:28Speaker 6: you can't do what you want to do because you're
- 38:31Speaker 6: an American. And that's why Americans get in trouble when
- 38:33Speaker 6: they travel. I'm an American.
- 38:35Speaker 2: Don't nobody give a damn. I don't nobody care.
- 38:38Speaker 6: America is not as loved as you think they are
- 38:41Speaker 6: worldwide because people across this nation know the atrocities of
- 38:46Speaker 6: America and they looking at us like we're crazy. Do
- 38:49Speaker 6: you know how many times I've had people in my
- 38:51Speaker 6: travels going, why do you live there?
- 38:54Speaker 2: They treat you guys so wrongly.
- 38:56Speaker 1: I feel how many times I've heard that, Yeah.
- 38:58Speaker 6: So now you done took yours over there and you
- 39:01Speaker 6: want to cusso, man, I wasn't just talking.
- 39:03Speaker 2: Are used over the custing.
- 39:04Speaker 6: The man out all loud at themw okay, all right,
- 39:06Speaker 6: cool green half, it's something.
- 39:09Speaker 2: Wrong with Coming up.
- 39:10Speaker 10: In thirty four minutes after the hour, we're going to
- 39:12Speaker 10: talk about the Montgomery Riverport Park fight, river Point Park fight,
- 39:17Speaker 10: new assault charges, and race relations in America. Right after this,
- 39:22Speaker 10: you're listening hard Morning show, Montgomery police announced that three
- 39:27Speaker 10: men have been charged with assault and a fourth man
- 39:30Speaker 10: is wanted for questioning following a massive weekend brawl and
- 39:34Speaker 10: involving more than a dozen people on the dock of
- 39:37Speaker 10: the Alabama city's riverfront park that appeared to be racially
- 39:41Speaker 10: divided between blacks and whites. According to Yahoo dot com,
- 39:44Speaker 10: many people that saw the videos served as a blunt
- 39:47Speaker 10: illustration of race relations in the US, both past and present,
- 39:53Speaker 10: where white privilege has historically assumed dominance over black bodily autonomy,
- 39:59Speaker 10: from slavery to the civil rights era to today.
- 40:03Speaker 1: Civil rights attorney A. Reva Martin says, quote, what.
- 40:06Speaker 10: Really caused such a viseral, visceral response from the black
- 40:10Speaker 10: community was the sense that these white men couldn't believe
- 40:14Speaker 10: that this black man had authority over him and had
- 40:18Speaker 10: authority to tell them to move their boat. So that's
- 40:21Speaker 10: what the problem was, She's saying. In a nutshell, that's
- 40:24Speaker 10: why you know what happened. They beat him down, they
- 40:28Speaker 10: jumped on him initially, all of that because they just
- 40:31Speaker 10: couldn't wrap their minds around the fact that here this
- 40:33Speaker 10: black man was telling them they had to move their boat.
- 40:36Speaker 2: Do you think you are to talk to me and
- 40:40Speaker 2: tell me what to do?
- 40:41Speaker 13: I'm white, especially in Montgomery, Montgomery.
- 40:47Speaker 2: Yeah, it's in New York. It's that privilege.
- 40:50Speaker 1: It's I'm saying the history of the city to.
- 40:55Speaker 2: Houston.
- 40:56Speaker 13: You're right, You're right.
- 40:59Speaker 6: It's not everybody, but it's enough of them. See and
- 41:03Speaker 6: see and see. That's the problem. That's why people don't understand.
- 41:06Speaker 6: See if it's enough, buttholes that keep everybody tight. That's
- 41:12Speaker 6: why I don't never truly relax when I go somewhere,
- 41:16Speaker 6: because I have to be aware. As famous as I am,
- 41:20Speaker 6: I am keenly aware of my blackness twenty four seven.
- 41:24Speaker 2: When I'm here, I.
- 41:25Speaker 6: Always noticed, and the average American, the average white American,
- 41:30Speaker 6: has no concept of what it is to be the
- 41:32Speaker 6: only one, the only one on the dock, the only
- 41:36Speaker 6: one in the office, the only one in the department,
- 41:39Speaker 6: the only one on the elevator. They have no concept
- 41:42Speaker 6: of it. And it's a shocking thing when all of
- 41:45Speaker 6: a sudden they are the minority, and it's a very
- 41:49Speaker 6: uncomfortable feeling. And so and the and the viral part
- 41:54Speaker 6: of it is the overwhelming joy that black people failed
- 42:00Speaker 6: when so many felt when so many people came to
- 42:02Speaker 6: his rescue. You don't get to see that, because see,
- 42:09Speaker 6: you don't you don't get to get to the rescue
- 42:11Speaker 6: in time.
- 42:12Speaker 2: But we got just in time for you beat that
- 42:14Speaker 2: man's siss.
- 42:15Speaker 11: You know what, Steve, It was good to see that
- 42:17Speaker 11: it was white people on this steamboat that was seeing
- 42:21Speaker 11: it from the beginning. That was, they kept asking them
- 42:24Speaker 11: to move this boat and they would not move it.
- 42:27Speaker 11: So it was white people on the steamboat too, saying, hey,
- 42:30Speaker 11: y'all were wrong, completely wrong, and out order for not
- 42:33Speaker 11: moving your.
- 42:34Speaker 2: Boat, and then.
- 42:38Speaker 1: Order for the violence for jumping on the man. Period.
- 42:40Speaker 1: He was just doing his job. Period.
- 42:44Speaker 6: But now I also want you all to know the
- 42:46Speaker 6: other side, to see, watch very carefully what these people
- 42:50Speaker 6: are saying about this case, well, when are you going
- 42:53Speaker 6: to arrest the blacks? They were fighting too. But see,
- 42:59Speaker 6: but see, so what you're saying is, we don't have
- 43:02Speaker 6: the right to protect ourself. Y'all got all these staying
- 43:06Speaker 6: your ground laws and all this here, we don't have
- 43:09Speaker 6: the right to protect ourself or come to the aid
- 43:12Speaker 6: of another one. When you wasn't counting the white folks
- 43:16Speaker 6: jumping on the black dude when it was clearly five
- 43:18Speaker 6: six to one, did you see wise her ass?
- 43:25Speaker 1: Yes, yes, yes, yes.
- 43:28Speaker 6: Boy, somebody as you want to be in it now.
- 43:34Speaker 6: The other person that they're looking for is the brother
- 43:37Speaker 6: with the chair. They want him to turn himself in,
- 43:40Speaker 6: and he gonna have to go on down there and
- 43:42Speaker 6: turn hisself Me.
- 43:44Speaker 1: I ain't, I ain't.
- 43:48Speaker 6: Matter of fact, when you come to my house to
- 43:49Speaker 6: get me, you ain't gonna see a chair in the house.
- 43:53Speaker 6: All the chairs gonna be in the garage. I know
- 43:55Speaker 6: what you're talking about. I'm telling you right now. I'm
- 43:58Speaker 6: not about a time coming down. No, Dad, They got
- 44:00Speaker 6: the man's name and everything, looking for the man wheeled
- 44:04Speaker 6: in the chair to just bring yourself in. We have
- 44:05Speaker 6: some question, yeah, question, All right, guys, not picture of
- 44:12Speaker 6: the chair.
- 44:14Speaker 10: It is the nephew with today's prank phone call. Right
- 44:17Speaker 10: after this you're listening Hard Morning show. Coming up at
- 44:22Speaker 10: the top of the hour, right about four minutes after
- 44:26Speaker 10: it's my Strawberry letter for today and the subject is my.
- 44:28Speaker 1: Man or hers.
- 44:31Speaker 10: We'll find out what that's all about coming up in
- 44:33Speaker 10: just a few because right now it is time for
- 44:36Speaker 10: the nephew and today's prank phone call.
- 44:38Speaker 1: What you got for his nap?
- 44:39Speaker 11: I got the legendary David Man. All right, David Man, Yes,
- 44:45Speaker 11: all right, and we want to say happy belated birthday,
- 44:47Speaker 11: Happy belated birthday, David Man.
- 44:49Speaker 2: It was his birthday this month, all right.
- 44:51Speaker 10: Uh And since it is yes, mister Brown, that boy.
- 44:58Speaker 11: Call that boy is all get out. If you never
- 45:06Speaker 11: heard when the nephew prank David Man, this is it
- 45:08Speaker 11: right here.
- 45:08Speaker 2: This is legendary.
- 45:09Speaker 11: In class. You want to prank somebody, you prank them
- 45:11Speaker 11: about their mama. Okay, you prank them about their mama.
- 45:17Speaker 2: Here it is. If you tell me pranking David.
- 45:19Speaker 7: Man, Tell hey, miss Andra, how you doing? This is
- 45:24Speaker 7: nephew telling me, Yes, ma'am, we're gonna prank phone call
- 45:28Speaker 7: your son. David man today. All right, Okay, So here's
- 45:32Speaker 7: what I want you to do for me. I want
- 45:34Speaker 7: you to call David and tell him, Hey, them people
- 45:37Speaker 7: came over here.
- 45:38Speaker 9: Asking me bout paying that bill, and I'm not paying
- 45:41Speaker 9: that bill. And that man got smart with me and
- 45:43Speaker 9: I shut the door on him. I told him to
- 45:45Speaker 9: call you. Okay, when you get through with him, I'm
- 45:48Speaker 9: gonna call him back as if I'm that man.
- 45:50Speaker 12: Okay, Okay, I'm picking to do ad on this.
- 45:56Speaker 7: That's what you call it, an add Okay, do the
- 45:59Speaker 7: add on them, all right.
- 46:03Speaker 8: One figure that I'll call you when we get through.
- 46:06Speaker 8: All right, Okay, then.
- 46:07Speaker 7: Sorry you did good though, he'll call you back in
- 46:14Speaker 7: the minute complaining that we done prank him. All right, okay,
- 46:17Speaker 7: all right, God bless you, bless you.
- 46:20Speaker 2: All right, let us go.
- 46:22Speaker 7: Hello, how about bringing me that paperwork on apartment three fourteen. Hello,
- 46:25Speaker 7: I'm looking for David.
- 46:26Speaker 12: Please.
- 46:27Speaker 7: This is David. Okay, this is gim about at Barton
- 46:30Speaker 7: Green Apartments. Is your mother miss o? Yes? Yes, sir?
- 46:33Speaker 8: How can I help you?
- 46:34Speaker 12: Okay?
- 46:35Speaker 7: We got a problem here. Now. I'm the new general
- 46:37Speaker 7: manager here and I'm just getting this thing brought to
- 46:39Speaker 7: me about your mother not paying her water bille or
- 46:43Speaker 7: and we got to get this matter taken in. As
- 46:46Speaker 7: of right now, I've been instructed to actually go in
- 46:48Speaker 7: and get your mother and take her completely out of
- 46:50Speaker 7: the apartment building.
- 46:51Speaker 8: Okay, So well tell me what the problem is. Get
- 46:54Speaker 8: explain me what the situation is, sir.
- 46:56Speaker 7: The situation right now is no one has paid this
- 46:58Speaker 7: water bill whatsoever. She thinks for lying and standing that
- 47:01Speaker 7: she only owes one hundred and six dollars and she
- 47:04Speaker 7: owes far more than that. She has not paid a
- 47:06Speaker 7: water bill at all. All right, and your mother, and
- 47:09Speaker 7: I'll be first one to tell you, is very rude
- 47:12Speaker 7: to me and put in the door in my face, okay, sir,
- 47:15Speaker 7: So let me, yeah, let me. I'm just trying to
- 47:16Speaker 7: understand the situation. So the water bill hasn't been paid
- 47:19Speaker 7: in how long? From what I'm looking at, it's at least.
- 47:22Speaker 12: Four or five months?
- 47:23Speaker 7: And what looks like here on the paper.
- 47:24Speaker 8: Okay, so it's four or five months behind, Yes it is, okay,
- 47:29Speaker 8: and so how much is it.
- 47:31Speaker 7: I'm gonna have to tally all this up and get
- 47:33Speaker 7: everything lined up as far as the numbers as of
- 47:35Speaker 7: right now, sir. If no one is paying this bill
- 47:38Speaker 7: in the next thirty minutes. I am instructed to put
- 47:40Speaker 7: your mother out and pack her things and put her out,
- 47:43Speaker 7: and that's not what I want to do. But as
- 47:45Speaker 7: rude as she was to me, you know, at this point,
- 47:47Speaker 7: I'll tell you what, David, I don't give a damn, sir.
- 47:50Speaker 8: So I just mean I'm just here to try to
- 47:52Speaker 8: help make the situation better. So I need you to
- 47:54Speaker 8: take a deep breath for me and calm down, because
- 47:56Speaker 8: I'm I'm tom So let's just let you know.
- 47:59Speaker 7: I I understand that I would be I would be
- 48:02Speaker 7: come to had your mother not to slam the door
- 48:04Speaker 7: in the face and sads and things before she shut
- 48:07Speaker 7: that door out in that I'd be trying to work
- 48:09Speaker 7: as commonly as you're working, right, So what do we
- 48:12Speaker 7: need to do?
- 48:12Speaker 8: I won't be able to do within thirty minutes.
- 48:15Speaker 9: But how much is it?
- 48:16Speaker 8: Just find out how much it is? You know, from
- 48:18Speaker 8: what my understanding was, it was one hundred and nine
- 48:20Speaker 8: dollars or something one hundred and six dollars for at
- 48:22Speaker 8: least four months. That what's the problem.
- 48:24Speaker 7: What is old right now? That the one hundred and
- 48:26Speaker 7: six dollars, sir, is one month?
- 48:29Speaker 8: How is it? How was I guess my question is
- 48:32Speaker 8: how does the water bill? One hundred and six dollars
- 48:35Speaker 8: for a one bedroom apartment with one person? One hundred
- 48:38Speaker 8: and six dollars water bill is kind of high, don't
- 48:40Speaker 8: you think.
- 48:41Speaker 7: I mean, I don't have no idea what your mother's doing.
- 48:43Speaker 7: I don't mean it runs a lot of water, or
- 48:46Speaker 7: I have no idea about it unless.
- 48:47Speaker 8: She's washing every day and running all the water every day.
- 48:51Speaker 8: One hundred and six dollars for one for an apartment
- 48:55Speaker 8: is a bit extreme. I mean when you say for yourself,
- 48:58Speaker 8: that's a bit.
- 48:58Speaker 7: High, sir, I understand that you have some issues about
- 49:01Speaker 7: what the amount of the bill is. That does not
- 49:04Speaker 7: get in in the middle of the fact of how
- 49:06Speaker 7: far far behind we are. That's the problem we have.
- 49:09Speaker 8: I'm far behind over. I'm just trying to I'm trying
- 49:11Speaker 8: to resolve.
- 49:11Speaker 7: To you we are five months, but how much behind?
- 49:14Speaker 8: So how much is the bill for five months?
- 49:17Speaker 7: I'm getting I'm getting her of tally that up as
- 49:19Speaker 7: of right now. But let's get back to the issue
- 49:21Speaker 7: of someone not being able to get him thirty minutes.
- 49:23Speaker 7: Is there no one that can get here and take
- 49:25Speaker 7: care of this bill in.
- 49:26Speaker 8: Thirty let's let's figure out how much it is, and well,
- 49:29Speaker 8: I'll try to get that worked out. So if you
- 49:31Speaker 8: can give me kind of tally on.
- 49:33Speaker 7: What it is, if I had to guess the mate,
- 49:35Speaker 7: I mean, let's let's look at the fact that here
- 49:37Speaker 7: it is one hundred and six dollars on one month.
- 49:39Speaker 7: You know, let's say it's roughly one hundred bucks each month.
- 49:42Speaker 7: You know, you're looking at five hundred bucks at least.
- 49:44Speaker 8: Yes, I have to say on one hundred dollars for us,
- 49:49Speaker 8: that's the.
- 49:50Speaker 7: True you know, the problem that bothers me that you
- 49:52Speaker 7: people won't pay your bill.
- 49:54Speaker 8: Wait a minute, now, I need you to relax, because
- 49:56Speaker 8: I pay my bill.
- 49:57Speaker 7: Well, you got a mother over here, that's apparently you
- 50:01Speaker 7: must be the caretaker of and you're not taking care
- 50:03Speaker 7: of your mother. From what it seems like.
- 50:04Speaker 8: What I need you to do is relax and not
- 50:07Speaker 8: not be accused of to her. That's what I need
- 50:10Speaker 8: you to do.
- 50:10Speaker 7: I need you to and what I need you to
- 50:12Speaker 7: do is staying up, sir and take the initiative. But
- 50:15Speaker 7: whatever your responsibility is, and if you're responsible for your mother,
- 50:19Speaker 7: then you should do you should take care of your mother.
- 50:21Speaker 8: You know what, you're upset right now, and you're not
- 50:23Speaker 8: gonna get me upset with you because you don't know
- 50:27Speaker 8: what's going on and what do.
- 50:29Speaker 7: You not care about your mother? Because in that case,
- 50:31Speaker 7: I need just your phone with you right now. My
- 50:33Speaker 7: job is to get her out of the apartment and
- 50:35Speaker 7: pack her things up because the bills not paid and
- 50:38Speaker 7: she's saying she's not paying it. To take it up
- 50:40Speaker 7: with her.
- 50:40Speaker 8: Something that what you're trying to do is get me
- 50:42Speaker 8: to be where you are. I'm not gonna connect with you.
- 50:45Speaker 7: I'm not trying to get you to be where I am.
- 50:47Speaker 7: I'm trying to get you to take care of your
- 50:48Speaker 7: mother if that's your responsibility, and if it's not, I'll
- 50:50Speaker 7: leave it up to her.

- 54:05Speaker 1: Thank you.
- 54:05Speaker 10: Nephew's subject my man or hers, Dear Stephen Shirley. I'm
- 54:09Speaker 10: the oldest of three girls, and all three of us
- 54:12Speaker 10: look a lot alike, and we have the same body type.
- 54:15Speaker 10: The crazy part is that we're all nine years apart,
- 54:18Speaker 10: me first, then my middle sister, and then the baby
- 54:21Speaker 10: sister came right as I was headed to college. I
- 54:25Speaker 10: used to babysit my sister's on campus, and my babysitter
- 54:28Speaker 10: used to cling to my boyfriend for my baby sister
- 54:31Speaker 10: used to cling to my boyfriend for dear life. I
- 54:34Speaker 10: married my college boyfriend, and my baby sister was so
- 54:37Speaker 10: in love with him. She went to culinary school abroad
- 54:41Speaker 10: and she hardly ever called me, but she called my
- 54:44Speaker 10: husband to talk about sports.
- 54:46Speaker 1: All the time.
- 54:47Speaker 10: I thought it was cute and innocent back then, but
- 54:51Speaker 10: maybe not now. When Little Sis came back home, we
- 54:54Speaker 10: told her she could stay with us instead of at
- 54:57Speaker 10: our parents' house because they still treated her like child.
- 55:00Speaker 10: I told her she had to get a job, though
- 55:03Speaker 10: two months later she still wasn't working, so I had
- 55:06Speaker 10: to talk with her about being more responsible. Then I
- 55:10Speaker 10: heard her tell my husband that I'm always so mean
- 55:13Speaker 10: to her.
- 55:14Speaker 1: I told him that.
- 55:16Speaker 10: Their private conversations need to stop immediately. That's when he
- 55:20Speaker 10: told me of all the inappropriate things my baby sis
- 55:23Speaker 10: had been up to, like texting him throughout the day
- 55:26Speaker 10: with small talk. He also said she is often up
- 55:29Speaker 10: late at night and tries to get him to drink
- 55:31Speaker 10: wine with her. She almost always asks him how his
- 55:35Speaker 10: day was and if there's anything she can do to
- 55:38Speaker 10: make him comfortable. He told me to talk to her
- 55:41Speaker 10: so she wouldn't be embarrassed, so I did. She admitted
- 55:45Speaker 10: to loving my husband in a sisterly way and said
- 55:50Speaker 10: she sees no reason why she can't text him to
- 55:52Speaker 10: see if he's okay, or treat him like a king
- 55:54Speaker 10: when he's at home.
- 55:57Speaker 1: Is this my man or hers? Is her behavior? You're
- 56:00Speaker 1: innocent or intentional?
- 56:01Speaker 10: And would I be wrong to ask her to move out?
- 56:07Speaker 1: No, you would not be wrong to ask her to
- 56:09Speaker 1: move out.
- 56:10Speaker 10: And don't ask us if it's your husband or hers.
- 56:14Speaker 1: He's yours, so you got to act like it.
- 56:16Speaker 10: Okay, Listen, she knows, your husband knows, and yes, you
- 56:20Speaker 10: know too what your sister is doing and what she's
- 56:23Speaker 10: up to. And we know she's wrong. Your sister's out
- 56:26Speaker 10: of line. You don't need Steve and I to tell
- 56:29Speaker 10: you what you know in your heart and your mind.
- 56:31Speaker 1: You already know this.
- 56:32Speaker 10: She's trying everything she can to seduce your husband and
- 56:36Speaker 10: entice him and get him.
- 56:38Speaker 1: She's doing it.
- 56:39Speaker 10: She's supposed to be looking for a job, but she's
- 56:41Speaker 10: only interested in working on your husband.
- 56:44Speaker 1: Okay.
- 56:45Speaker 10: It's not her responsibility to treat him like a queen.
- 56:48Speaker 1: That's your job. Okay.
- 56:49Speaker 10: If you choose to do that, and it sounds like
- 56:52Speaker 10: you do, how dare she She's disrespectful.
- 56:55Speaker 1: She's quite quite crazy to.
- 56:58Speaker 10: Be doing this in your You've been kind to her,
- 57:02Speaker 10: and this is how she pays you back. You've got
- 57:05Speaker 10: to get her out of there. Immediately because she's a troublemaker.
- 57:08Speaker 10: She's trying every trick in the book to get your man.
- 57:10Speaker 10: You need to put her out today, Steve.
- 57:13Speaker 6: Let me just start by saying this about this letter.
- 57:15Speaker 6: My older brother would have beat my ass. Let's just
- 57:17Speaker 6: start with that, right there. Get that out the way.
- 57:20Speaker 6: Let's be clear, black household dudes, it's a little bit different.
- 57:24Speaker 6: My older brothers just had rule and domain over me.
- 57:27Speaker 6: That's always the way it was. Big fish eat the
- 57:30Speaker 6: little fish. My man are hers. This is why women
- 57:35Speaker 6: do so well on reality shows. This is why you
- 57:38Speaker 6: have the Real Housewives of Atlanta, Orange County, New Jersey, Miami, Johannesburg.
- 57:46Speaker 6: That's why you have this because you all, you all
- 57:50Speaker 6: do drama way better than we do. There's been fourteen
- 57:56Speaker 6: seasons of Atlanta housewibes.
- 57:58Speaker 2: I just learned this because of social media.
- 58:01Speaker 1: Threat came a class.
- 58:03Speaker 6: Candy has said she's the only one that's been on
- 58:07Speaker 6: yeah does reality show for fourteen years. Everybody else been
- 58:10Speaker 6: put off for whatever reason, including Meani and all the
- 58:14Speaker 6: rest of them. So Candy said that in social media.
- 58:17Speaker 6: That's why I'm able to repeat that very factually means
- 58:21Speaker 6: nothing to me. At all, And it ain't got a
- 58:23Speaker 6: lot to do with this letter except to say, this
- 58:25Speaker 6: is why you all do so well in reality TV,
- 58:29Speaker 6: because you all do drama, accept it and deal with
- 58:33Speaker 6: it different than me. You got three sisters, all y'all
- 58:40Speaker 6: look a lot alike, and y'all got the same body type.
- 58:43Speaker 2: Okay, that's genetics. Crazy part is we all nine years apart.
- 58:50Speaker 6: You was headed to college, and you know you used
- 58:53Speaker 6: to babysit your sisters on campus. And my baby sister
- 58:58Speaker 6: used to cling to my boyfriend for dear life. Okay,
- 59:03Speaker 6: that ain't nothing abnormal. I married my boyfriend and my
- 59:06Speaker 6: baby sister was so in love with him. She went
- 59:09Speaker 6: to culinary school abroad, and she hardly ever called me,
- 59:11Speaker 6: but she called my husband talk about sports all the time.
- 59:16Speaker 2: All right, what does she know about sports?
- 59:21Speaker 6: She ain't go to college to play sports. She didn't
- 59:24Speaker 6: go to college to get a degree in sports medicine.
- 59:27Speaker 6: She didn't go to college to get a a degree
- 59:31Speaker 6: in sports management. She went to culinary school. The hell
- 59:36Speaker 6: is she calling him for about sports?
- 59:40Speaker 7: Yeah?
- 59:41Speaker 6: Then when she came back home, we told her she
- 59:43Speaker 6: could stay with y'all instead at your parents' house because
- 59:46Speaker 6: they still treated her like a child. He ever thought
- 59:50Speaker 6: that was a reason why I told her she had
- 59:53Speaker 6: to get a job, though two months later she still
- 59:56Speaker 6: wasn't working, so I had have talked to her about
- 59:58Speaker 6: being more responsible. Then I heard her tell my husband,
- 1:00:02Speaker 6: I'm always mean to her. I told him that they
- 1:00:05Speaker 6: private conversations need to stop immediately. That's when he told
- 1:00:09Speaker 6: you all of the inappropriate things my baby sits had
- 1:00:13Speaker 6: been up to.
- 1:00:13Speaker 2: Oh, this is what the letter get going.
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: Yeah, hang on, Steve, just hold on.
- 1:00:18Speaker 10: We'll have part two of your response coming up at
- 1:00:21Speaker 10: twenty three minutes after the hour. Today's Strawberry letter subject
- 1:00:27Speaker 10: is my man or hers.
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: We'll get back into it right after this. You're listening
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: Steve Hardy Morning Show.
- 1:00:34Speaker 10: All right, come on, Steve, let's recap today's strawberry letter.
- 1:00:36Speaker 10: The subject is my man or hers.
- 1:00:40Speaker 6: See now, this woman got three two other sisters. One
- 1:00:44Speaker 6: of them went to culinary school. She used to babysit
- 1:00:47Speaker 6: them in college. And one of the little baby girl
- 1:00:50Speaker 6: we was clinging to the boyfriend. I don't know what
- 1:00:52Speaker 6: college let this happen. I don't know what parents takes
- 1:00:56Speaker 6: they kids to. The college daughter the babysit I don't
- 1:01:01Speaker 6: know what kind of setup this is. And I don't
- 1:01:04Speaker 6: know no college boyfriend that's in on babysitting and we're
- 1:01:08Speaker 6: not doing this. You baby, when you get through babysitting,
- 1:01:10Speaker 6: call me. I'm playing ball or something. Anyway, she used
- 1:01:13Speaker 6: to cling to him. She grew up, went off the
- 1:01:15Speaker 6: culinary school, never called you, went to culinary school abroad,
- 1:01:19Speaker 6: never called you, but always called your husband. She was
- 1:01:22Speaker 6: so in love with him, you know, checking him on
- 1:01:24Speaker 6: on sports and stuff. She don't know a damn thing
- 1:01:26Speaker 6: about sports. Anyway, She come back to the States and
- 1:01:28Speaker 6: she needs somewhere to stay. Don't want to stay with
- 1:01:31Speaker 6: the parents because the parents say she act like a child,
- 1:01:33Speaker 6: so they let hers stay with her. But she told
- 1:01:35Speaker 6: her she had to get a job. Though two months lady,
- 1:01:37Speaker 6: she ain't got no damn job. She ain't working, So
- 1:01:39Speaker 6: I guess that little broad culinary school thing ain't work out.
- 1:01:42Speaker 6: You can get your ass somewhere down here, now, you
- 1:01:44Speaker 6: take all this colorinary experience, your hoehop always got somebody
- 1:01:48Speaker 6: down there. And I'd be damn if you can't be
- 1:01:50Speaker 6: a cook at Waffa house, cause I know good hell well,
- 1:01:54Speaker 6: I know the Watford all you got to do is
- 1:01:56Speaker 6: be able to listen to three people hollerday and you
- 1:01:58Speaker 6: at the same time.
- 1:02:00Speaker 2: Minia at the waffle house ain't changed you. You got
- 1:02:04Speaker 2: to be able to hear three people holler at you
- 1:02:05Speaker 2: at the.
- 1:02:05Speaker 6: Same damn time and still be able to get these
- 1:02:08Speaker 6: eggs waffle and these half brown smothered chunk covered dice
- 1:02:12Speaker 6: and slice.
- 1:02:13Speaker 2: And you got to be able to get that coffee
- 1:02:14Speaker 2: all out. You got to be able to do all
- 1:02:16Speaker 2: that that And I know that.
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: So she could have got a job there, saying.
- 1:02:20Speaker 6: You could have got a job at the waffle house
- 1:02:22Speaker 6: because the menu is simple. You don't even open the minu.
- 1:02:24Speaker 6: I tore a fingernail off one time when I first
- 1:02:27Speaker 6: went to the waffle house trying to open the menu.
- 1:02:29Speaker 6: I still think my fingernail in there.
- 1:02:31Speaker 2: I never know.
- 1:02:32Speaker 6: I thought they was stuff. Maybe some syrup had got
- 1:02:34Speaker 6: onto the side. And I damned told a fangernail off
- 1:02:36Speaker 6: trying to open up a minion. That white lady came
- 1:02:38Speaker 6: over and said, what you doing, Sweeten said, I'm trying
- 1:02:40Speaker 6: to open this menu up. She said, you don't open
- 1:02:42Speaker 6: it up. That's the first time I have seen a
- 1:02:46Speaker 6: minion that was a flash card. But there's always jobs
- 1:02:50Speaker 6: available for you if you can really cook anyway, just
- 1:02:54Speaker 6: help it. Don't want no job, So well, you told
- 1:03:00Speaker 6: her she had to get a job, and then she
- 1:03:02Speaker 6: wasn't working, so he had to talk with her about
- 1:03:04Speaker 6: being more responsible. That's why you that's why the parents
- 1:03:07Speaker 6: still cheated like a child, because she acts like a child.
- 1:03:09Speaker 2: Parents ain't stupid.
- 1:03:11Speaker 6: Baby girls spoiled, been acting like the baby the whole life. Now,
- 1:03:14Speaker 6: y'all let her stay with her. Now you find out
- 1:03:16Speaker 6: what the parents were saying. The parents was right, she
- 1:03:18Speaker 6: acted like a child. Now she done went to your
- 1:03:20Speaker 6: husband talking about know you always be mean to her.
- 1:03:23Speaker 6: You told her the dumb conversations, y'all, having privately you
- 1:03:26Speaker 6: overheard her telling her husband she always mean you. You
- 1:03:28Speaker 6: told all them conversations. Y'all havn't privately got to stop.
- 1:03:31Speaker 6: But he said, well hold on now he's a good dude,
- 1:03:33Speaker 6: cause see he started telling you about all the inappropriate
- 1:03:37Speaker 6: things your baby sister had been up to, like texting
- 1:03:39Speaker 6: him throughout the day with small talk. He also said
- 1:03:42Speaker 6: she was offing up late at night and tried to
- 1:03:44Speaker 6: get him drink wine with her. She also asked him
- 1:03:47Speaker 6: how his day was going, if there was anything she
- 1:03:49Speaker 6: could do to make him comfortable. He told me to
- 1:03:51Speaker 6: talk to her so she wouldn't be embarrassed. So I did. Now,
- 1:03:54Speaker 6: this is a good dude. You're married too.
- 1:03:56Speaker 2: Cause see most.
- 1:03:57Speaker 6: Dude black dudes willn't like will like messing with the
- 1:04:01Speaker 6: baby sister. That was the baby when we was in
- 1:04:03Speaker 6: college and she was a baby.
- 1:04:05Speaker 2: We don't do that.
- 1:04:05Speaker 6: We ain't Woody Allen. See Woody Allen do stuff like that.
- 1:04:09Speaker 6: I'm just telling you this ain't no Woody Allen started
- 1:04:14Speaker 6: when No, no, we ain't moving on.
- 1:04:15Speaker 2: When this when? When the when? When did the switch
- 1:04:17Speaker 2: go down? Here?
- 1:04:19Speaker 7: What?
- 1:04:20Speaker 2: What?
- 1:04:20Speaker 7: What? That?
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: That? What this letter about?
- 1:04:25Speaker 2: Is what this letter? This is what this letter ain't about.
- 1:04:27Speaker 2: Because brother, good brother, Uh, you're gonna have.
- 1:04:31Speaker 6: You had a damn problem in your house if your
- 1:04:32Speaker 6: ass mad, you got the research this story right here,
- 1:04:36Speaker 6: because Woody would have been up drinking all night with

- 1:04:54Speaker 1: If we go.
- 1:05:00Speaker 2: Your black ass was married.

- 1:05:04Speaker 6: because let me.
- 1:05:04Speaker 2: Show you how this will go right here. Let me
- 1:05:06Speaker 2: start right here.
- 1:05:07Speaker 6: Then turn about all the inappropriate private conversations. Didn't have
- 1:05:11Speaker 6: to see what they had been like texting her throughout
- 1:05:13Speaker 6: the day with small talk, well, Woody text back, Woody
- 1:05:18Speaker 6: text back, and all this small talk of be long
- 1:05:21Speaker 6: loving ass conversation.
- 1:05:23Speaker 2: See if you was married to Woody Allen.
- 1:05:25Speaker 6: Then he also said she up late at night and
- 1:05:28Speaker 6: tried to get him to drink wine with him.
- 1:05:30Speaker 2: Well Woody asked him.
- 1:05:31Speaker 6: He said, as Woody asked, or be in there with
- 1:05:35Speaker 6: them glasses, be in there drinking wine. Then the damn wine.
- 1:05:39Speaker 2: Want some gin?
- 1:05:40Speaker 6: Wipe me and drank gin. They'll pull some. They put

- 1:05:44Speaker 2: In a minute. Next thing, you know, your dad out.
- 1:05:46Speaker 6: They're sitting up in the living room just toe down Netflix,
- 1:05:51Speaker 6: Netflix and chilling.
- 1:05:52Speaker 2: Take on a whole nother minute.
- 1:05:54Speaker 4: And then.
- 1:05:56Speaker 6: She always asked him how his day was and when
- 1:05:58Speaker 6: there's anything she can do to make him more comfortable.
- 1:06:01Speaker 2: Woody Allen would have said, what.
- 1:06:05Speaker 6: I can't think of a couple of things were to

- 1:06:20Speaker 6: So thank God for this man right here. Should you
- 1:06:23Speaker 6: put our ass out? Yes, put her ass out and
- 1:06:26Speaker 6: throw a parade for your man to get your man
- 1:06:28Speaker 6: a nice gift for not being Woody Allen.
- 1:06:30Speaker 10: Yes, the end and the words of Junior all right.

- 1:07:04Speaker 10: Junior and sports talk.
- 1:07:05Speaker 1: What you got jor Man?
- 1:07:07Speaker 2: What is going down down in Washington?
- 1:07:09Speaker 4: Man?
- 1:07:09Speaker 2: The Commanders? Oh my gosh.
- 1:07:11Speaker 5: Eric Benemy is the new offensive coordinator from the Washington Commanders.
- 1:07:14Speaker 2: They are saying that he is.
- 1:07:16Speaker 5: Coaching them too hard. They don't like his coaching style
- 1:07:21Speaker 5: the players. I haven't since he exactly Tommy coaching is
- 1:07:27Speaker 5: part of it.
- 1:07:28Speaker 2: Didn't he come from Kansas City? Yes, sir, dank. Kansas
- 1:07:32Speaker 2: City won a couple of Super Bowls.
- 1:07:34Speaker 1: Yes, sir, you don't.
- 1:07:36Speaker 2: Think that they are a huge part of that. Yeah.
- 1:07:41Speaker 6: So now he's trying to teach you to have a
- 1:07:43Speaker 6: winning attitude instead of just losing ass record. Y'all been
- 1:07:46Speaker 6: dragging around all these damn years because y'all stupid ass
- 1:07:50Speaker 6: had the wrong emblem on the side of your healing.
- 1:07:53Speaker 6: You ain't even know how to name your football team.
- 1:07:56Speaker 6: But he holler at us, Steve, shut your punk ass
- 1:08:01Speaker 6: something to get out on this finger.
- 1:08:04Speaker 11: Hide Insteed, it's too much. I'm a run to play well.
- 1:08:08Speaker 11: He don't have to be screaming it up while we do.
- 1:08:11Speaker 6: I'm screaming because you've been losing for six years in
- 1:08:13Speaker 6: the road.
- 1:08:14Speaker 2: You ain't made me playoff.
- 1:08:17Speaker 11: I know that, But when I get down there in
- 1:08:19Speaker 11: three points there, why is he hollered in my ear
- 1:08:22Speaker 11: every time I can't focus.
- 1:08:24Speaker 6: I caught you too damn slow, and you're losing. The
- 1:08:27Speaker 6: name of the football team is Commanders. But you can't
- 1:08:29Speaker 6: take a damn command.
- 1:08:31Speaker 2: I can take a cold the Washington Ducks, because the
- 1:08:35Speaker 2: Duck and everything I'm telling you, boy, this whisper.
- 1:08:38Speaker 6: Why don't we change the name of that team to
- 1:08:40Speaker 6: the Washington Whispers. That's this nice poocass name. That's soft
- 1:08:44Speaker 6: enough for you. How about the Washington cotton Balls?
- 1:08:47Speaker 2: How about that?
- 1:08:49Speaker 6: Why don't you want to be a football team and
- 1:08:51Speaker 6: you want to be a badminton team?
- 1:08:52Speaker 2: What you want to be?
- 1:08:54Speaker 1: Washington?
- 1:08:55Speaker 2: I want I want to be on football team. I
- 1:08:58Speaker 2: just don't want about it hollering at me like that.
- 1:09:00Speaker 2: I just can't your.
- 1:09:01Speaker 6: Punk a football running this play, damn playing should have
- 1:09:08Speaker 6: been crying. That's been losing all these years. Ain't nobody
- 1:09:12Speaker 6: been in here hollering at you? Just been letting you
- 1:09:13Speaker 6: do what you want her to? What is your ten
- 1:09:15Speaker 6: days crying for? He had us at least two hours.
- 1:09:19Speaker 6: That's just too long, Stevens.
- 1:09:23Speaker 2: The quick call of this Steves coach. That's why we're
- 1:09:28Speaker 2: not winning right now? What kofe? Can you talk to him?
- 1:09:34Speaker 2: Ben man?
- 1:09:35Speaker 11: But letting us take some more breaks. We just need
- 1:09:38Speaker 11: a few more breaks.
- 1:09:39Speaker 2: Just don't be so loud. You don't need a break.
- 1:09:42Speaker 2: You need a win. Loud, we need a win. I
- 1:09:47Speaker 2: can't believe this, man.
- 1:09:48Speaker 5: Texas Patriots Tonight Viking Seahawks game is tonight. Football is back, man,
- 1:09:54Speaker 5: But goodness, gracious mass.
- 1:09:56Speaker 11: Junior Prescott through three interceptions in practice the other day.
- 1:10:00Speaker 1: Already to see.
- 1:10:03Speaker 7: That he.
- 1:10:05Speaker 2: Said this year t yeah, yeah, all right.
- 1:10:11Speaker 10: Coming up at the top of the hour, social media
- 1:10:13Speaker 10: advices neda, Steve. This is from a man who says
- 1:10:16Speaker 10: I laughed at my daughter's dream to be an influencer.
- 1:10:18Speaker 1: We'll talk about it right after this.
- 1:10:21Speaker 10: You're listening Harvey Morning Show. All right, Steve Devin on
- 1:10:27Speaker 10: Steve Harvey FM wrights. Things are tense at home because
- 1:10:31Speaker 10: apparently I'm not taking my daughter's dreams seriously enough. Yesterday
- 1:10:36Speaker 10: I caught her sprawled out on the hood of one
- 1:10:38Speaker 10: of my neighbor's corvettes. Yes, she asked him for permission.
- 1:10:42Speaker 10: I asked my wife what the hell she was doing,
- 1:10:44Speaker 10: and she said she was taking pictures for the Graham.
- 1:10:48Speaker 10: Later that night, I looked up her Instagram page and
- 1:10:51Speaker 10: saw what she was doing.
- 1:10:53Speaker 1: She's pretending she owns the.
- 1:10:55Speaker 10: Car and living a lavish life to quote build her
- 1:10:59Speaker 10: brand as an influencer. I guess my hysterical laughter wasn't
- 1:11:03Speaker 10: appropriate because now I'm being shunned by her and my
- 1:11:06Speaker 10: wife for crushing her dreams. I guess me asking her
- 1:11:11Speaker 10: where she was taking us to dinner with all her
- 1:11:13Speaker 10: rich money was out of line too. See any suggestions
- 1:11:18Speaker 10: suggestions on how to fix.
- 1:11:19Speaker 6: This, you know, brh, I understand that, and you perfectly
- 1:11:23Speaker 6: find feeling how you feel it. A lot of these
- 1:11:26Speaker 6: people who are trying to be influencers are going about
- 1:11:28Speaker 6: it the wrong way and they all get exposed if
- 1:11:32Speaker 6: you're fake. Like they just exposed that white guy that
- 1:11:34Speaker 6: was on there talking about he's an influencer, and the
- 1:11:37Speaker 6: guy came out and said he rents his jet to
- 1:11:39Speaker 6: him to take pictures on the jet. Oh wow, you
- 1:11:43Speaker 6: know man, they you know, man, when they find out
- 1:11:46Speaker 6: you're not who you are. It's such a hard thing, man,
- 1:11:50Speaker 6: because you got to build your empire. Your building has
- 1:11:55Speaker 6: to have a solid foundation if you build it on
- 1:11:59Speaker 6: saying when the way you come up, it's gonna get
- 1:12:01Speaker 6: washed away. And that's what your daughter's doing. And she
- 1:12:04Speaker 6: thinks that she's gonna build a brand by imagery and
- 1:12:08Speaker 6: that's not how it works. Like, for example, do you
- 1:12:10Speaker 6: all know that there seems to be a craze out
- 1:12:13Speaker 6: here now of people who are life coaches. I'm a
- 1:12:16Speaker 6: life coach, and I'll be looking at their life and
- 1:12:18Speaker 6: it don't be together with for them. And I'm like,
- 1:12:21Speaker 6: who letting them coach them? You live in an apartment
- 1:12:28Speaker 6: and you a life coach.
- 1:12:29Speaker 1: Yeah, you're gonna tell me how to get my life together?
- 1:12:32Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 1:12:33Speaker 6: I mean seriously, man' that's how I look at it.
- 1:12:36Speaker 6: You know, I've had people come to me and tell me, Hey, man,
- 1:12:39Speaker 6: I got an idea for you that can make you
- 1:12:41Speaker 6: one hundred million dollars. Look, man, the first thing I
- 1:12:45Speaker 6: want you to understand is the moment I have a
- 1:12:47Speaker 6: one hundred million dollar idea, the first person I'm gonna
- 1:12:51Speaker 6: take it to is me, right, and we're gonna go
- 1:12:54Speaker 6: and work this one hundred million.
- 1:12:57Speaker 2: You gotta be solid out here, y'all. Young people and
- 1:13:00Speaker 2: old people.
- 1:13:01Speaker 6: Stop worrying about the imagery, the look of it, and
- 1:13:03Speaker 6: get the realness. No, you're you can be a motivational speaker.
- 1:13:08Speaker 6: After you've found ways to motivate people.
- 1:13:12Speaker 1: You know, you're like a person, Like what you're doing
- 1:13:15Speaker 1: is what you're saying.
- 1:13:16Speaker 6: You can teach a person how to get up. If
- 1:13:17Speaker 6: you've been down and you got up. You can tell
- 1:13:19Speaker 6: a person how to get over. If you've been under
- 1:13:21Speaker 6: and you got over. You could tell a person how
- 1:13:23Speaker 6: to win if you've lost. In won, you could tell
- 1:13:26Speaker 6: a person how to come back if you've made a comeback, right,
- 1:13:30Speaker 6: if you ain't done none of them things?
- 1:13:31Speaker 2: Yes, Carla, But.
- 1:13:33Speaker 1: It seems like everybody on social media they love the
- 1:13:35Speaker 1: fake stuff.
- 1:13:37Speaker 13: They don't like them to do this, but keeping it real, Steve.
- 1:13:40Speaker 13: It's like they get it's all this fake.
- 1:13:42Speaker 10: Stuff, but they think it's real though that well, but
- 1:13:46Speaker 10: they think you're absolutely one hundred percent correct.
- 1:13:50Speaker 6: They like all this fake stuff. But what do you
- 1:13:53Speaker 6: have that you like? You're liking fake stuff, right, You're
- 1:13:57Speaker 6: gonna have to.
- 1:13:57Speaker 11: Keep getting faked, yeah, like a fake Yes.
- 1:14:04Speaker 6: So you got to keep falling for the okie dope.
- 1:14:08Speaker 6: When are you gonna start liking only that which is real.
- 1:14:13Speaker 2: So you can have something real?
- 1:14:16Speaker 1: Is that what her dad should tell her?
- 1:14:17Speaker 7: Though?
- 1:14:17Speaker 10: Should he sit her down because he wants to know
- 1:14:19Speaker 10: how does he fix this?
- 1:14:21Speaker 2: Because your children is not the way. Making fun of
- 1:14:27Speaker 2: your children is not the way.
- 1:14:29Speaker 6: It's like, you know, my sons have come to me, Dad,
- 1:14:31Speaker 6: I don't like the way yo, your social media does this.
- 1:14:34Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't like the way your opinion do that.
- 1:14:35Speaker 6: Okay, don't come to me telling me the problem if
- 1:14:39Speaker 6: you don't offer a solution. So, as a parent, when
- 1:14:43Speaker 6: I tell my children not to do something, I have
- 1:14:46Speaker 6: a solution for them. But they got grown now where
- 1:14:48Speaker 6: they have opinions about my life. But if you ain't
- 1:14:50Speaker 6: got no solution, you keep all that to your damn self,
- 1:14:54Speaker 6: because right I ain't seen nothing I want.
- 1:14:56Speaker 2: From you, including your I'm a pink.
- 1:15:01Speaker 1: Coming up at twenty.
- 1:15:02Speaker 10: Minutes after the hour, we'll have more of the Steve
- 1:15:05Speaker 10: Harvey Morning Show right after this.

- 1:15:57Speaker 10: Employees are fighting back against the hybrid and complaining about
- 1:16:01Speaker 10: the time and money it will now coust them to commute.

- 1:17:47Speaker 6: Locate the family. Yeah, you can't have that rat in
- 1:17:55Speaker 6: that kitchen. I take that roach in that bed. We
- 1:17:56Speaker 6: can deal with that. Because it's gonna be so much
- 1:17:59Speaker 6: all on that bed post. He won't be a crawl up there. No,
- 1:18:02Speaker 6: damn mon do so much praying him in here. I'm
- 1:18:07Speaker 6: gonna be in here with the bomb set up.
- 1:18:10Speaker 1: Would you throw your whole bed away or just I'm

- 1:18:29Speaker 6: hell no, no, I'm up all night now, handgun in
- 1:18:34Speaker 6: my hands.

- 1:18:44Speaker 6: All right.
- 1:18:45Speaker 10: Would you rather go on a quick three day cruise

- 1:19:01Speaker 6: a room with your ex.
- 1:19:03Speaker 2: Wait a minute to start over, so you'd be on
- 1:19:05Speaker 2: three day.
- 1:19:06Speaker 1: Cruise, three days with your ex.
- 1:19:09Speaker 6: Never go on vacation again again. Yeah, I'm going go
- 1:19:13Speaker 6: and get this three days over with. Yes, that ain't

- 1:20:13Speaker 10: Here we are, guys, our last break of the day
- 1:20:16Speaker 10: on this Thursday, and Steve, before we get out of here,
- 1:20:20Speaker 10: we do need to give our condolences to the family
- 1:20:24Speaker 10: of Chicago's own DJ Casper of the famous chuchha slide.
- 1:20:29Speaker 10: I mean, if you don't know the Chachhause slides is go.
- 1:20:31Speaker 2: Out to the family. Yeah, yeah, we're sorry for his family.
- 1:20:36Speaker 2: Sick for a long time.
- 1:20:37Speaker 1: Ye out at the Chicago Area fun Dance all that,
- 1:20:43Speaker 1: So you're right, he was fifty eight. Yeah, very sad.
- 1:20:49Speaker 10: And switching gears here, Steve, we do have another question,
- 1:20:53Speaker 10: this time on Facebook for you.
- 1:20:54Speaker 1: It's from Paul.
- 1:20:56Speaker 10: Paul says, the other night, I was coming home on
- 1:20:59Speaker 10: a flight from a bit business trip. The flight was overbooked,
- 1:21:03Speaker 10: and they eventually offered two thousand dollars to relinquish my
- 1:21:06Speaker 10: seat since there was another flight two hours later.
- 1:21:09Speaker 1: I jumped at it.
- 1:21:10Speaker 10: I thought this was smart, especially since my car was
- 1:21:13Speaker 10: at the airport and no one was.
- 1:21:15Speaker 1: Picking me up. My wife didn't see it that way
- 1:21:18Speaker 1: and ended up.
- 1:21:20Speaker 10: Being really upset that I ruined the surprise dinner she
- 1:21:23Speaker 10: was preparing when I got home. But hold up, Steve,
- 1:21:27Speaker 10: the bad weather ended up canceling the flight and the
- 1:21:30Speaker 10: other one after that, so I couldn't have come home
- 1:21:32Speaker 10: even if I wanted to. And I still have the
- 1:21:35Speaker 10: two grand though, So when I finally did get home yesterday,
- 1:21:39Speaker 10: she's still mad at me, as if I controlled the weather.
- 1:21:42Speaker 10: So I got to ask you, is there anything I
- 1:21:45Speaker 10: can say to do to help speed this get the
- 1:21:48Speaker 10: hell over at time?
- 1:21:49Speaker 1: On this one?
- 1:21:50Speaker 6: No, No, it's because she's a woman and she's emotional,
- 1:21:55Speaker 6: and she had prepared a surprise dinner, and by you
- 1:21:59Speaker 6: not being there, it ruined the surprise. Well that it happened,
- 1:22:03Speaker 6: and you did the right thing and making a business
- 1:22:06Speaker 6: decision and up two thousand dollars and to catch the
- 1:22:10Speaker 6: last next flight, but then weather canceled that, and so
- 1:22:13Speaker 6: you end up not making it, and she's mad because
- 1:22:16Speaker 6: you didn't get the surprise dinner. Well, surprise her with
- 1:22:19Speaker 6: the two thousand dollars, you know, give her.
- 1:22:22Speaker 1: A nice little good answer to two.
- 1:22:24Speaker 2: Thousand dollars gift card. And if you're still mad, didn't
- 1:22:26Speaker 2: you stupid.
- 1:22:30Speaker 13: Two thousand dollars in airline ticket revenue is not the
- 1:22:33Speaker 13: money zelf, you know.
- 1:22:36Speaker 2: Like aboucher like that.
- 1:22:38Speaker 13: Yeah, yeah, but you're saying, spend the two k Well.
- 1:22:42Speaker 6: Look look, look, look the woman is upset because she
- 1:22:45Speaker 6: had the special surprise.
- 1:22:47Speaker 2: How he supposed to know that?
- 1:22:49Speaker 6: So now, I mean, look, at one point in time,
- 1:22:51Speaker 6: you gotta go. Yeah, but you got to go. How
- 1:22:52Speaker 6: would I know that? Right? But you know where they
- 1:22:56Speaker 6: overbooked it. I was making a decision to come up
- 1:22:58Speaker 6: two thousand dollars. I apologized for that. I didn't know.
- 1:23:02Speaker 6: Had I known, of course, I would have been here.
- 1:23:04Speaker 6: But then it wouldn't have been a surprise, but you
- 1:23:06Speaker 6: know it happened, So you know, what can I do?
- 1:23:08Speaker 2: I'm sorry? You know, like my daddy said, you can
- 1:23:11Speaker 2: either get over it or die mad. What do you know?
- 1:23:16Speaker 2: A lot of people, man.
- 1:23:19Speaker 1: They can't get over it. They can't let it go
- 1:23:22Speaker 1: in front of y'all.
- 1:23:24Speaker 2: That's you tell y'all.
- 1:23:26Speaker 6: You know what I was thinking about with the whole
- 1:23:28Speaker 6: month gummy boat doc incident. And I've been listening to
- 1:23:33Speaker 6: how Paul some white bloggers are that the three white
- 1:23:39Speaker 6: men are being charged and no one else well they're
- 1:23:43Speaker 6: talking to the guy about the chair.
- 1:23:45Speaker 2: But are you all? Are you all? I guess you are.
- 1:23:49Speaker 2: That's not a question, I guess so you all.
- 1:23:51Speaker 6: Are that naive as to how it is or what
- 1:23:55Speaker 6: it's like to be black or oppressed or the minority.
- 1:23:59Speaker 6: You you, you don't give a damn. You don't remember
- 1:24:02Speaker 6: anything that your fall fathers have done that these three
- 1:24:08Speaker 6: men still are doing. And this ain't their first time
- 1:24:12Speaker 6: doing something. They done done something similar to this before.
- 1:24:16Speaker 6: This one just got caught on camera. But how can
- 1:24:19Speaker 6: you be appalled at the uprising from the black community
- 1:24:24Speaker 6: to come to the aid of one black man y'all
- 1:24:27Speaker 6: don't remember Rodney King. Do you know how many police
- 1:24:30Speaker 6: officers was around him beating him? What y'all wasn't appalled
- 1:24:35Speaker 6: at that? Y'all wasn't appalled at Bull Connors back in
- 1:24:40Speaker 6: the same state of Alabama. Then guard dog, those German shepherds,
- 1:24:46Speaker 6: those fire hoses, y'all don't remember that. What about public lynchings,
- 1:24:51Speaker 6: y'all don't remember that. Do you know how many black
- 1:24:55Speaker 6: people are hanging from a pole or from a tree?
- 1:25:00Speaker 6: Emmitt Till for looking at a white woman accused of
- 1:25:03Speaker 6: looking at a white woman? Do you know how many
- 1:25:06Speaker 6: black people are hanging from tree limbs? And massive groups
- 1:25:10Speaker 6: of white standing there watched it happen, allowed it to happen,
- 1:25:16Speaker 6: applauding hanging.
- 1:25:19Speaker 2: Then when blacks come.
- 1:25:20Speaker 6: And defend theyself, you got the nerve to be pissed
- 1:25:24Speaker 6: off about that. Sometimes, man, I look at this country
- 1:25:27Speaker 6: that we have, This is our country that we don't
- 1:25:33Speaker 6: feel a part of oftentimes because of the way we
- 1:25:36Speaker 6: treat it. And then when you see an example of
- 1:25:40Speaker 6: black people standing up for themselves coming to the aid
- 1:25:44Speaker 6: of another, you appalled because they shouldn't have jumped on them.
- 1:25:48Speaker 6: White men if them white men had not jumped on
- 1:25:51Speaker 6: that brother, none of this happens. See, you got you
- 1:25:56Speaker 6: got calls in effect. Now you can't you can't do something.
- 1:25:59Speaker 6: Every action has an equal and opposite region. So you
- 1:26:02Speaker 6: all just forget about the Einstein theory or the Newton
- 1:26:07Speaker 6: theory or the Murphy's law. Y'all, y'all create all this stuff,
- 1:26:10Speaker 6: but then it don't apply. Every action has an equal
- 1:26:14Speaker 6: and opposite reaction. If them three white boys wasn't the
- 1:26:19Speaker 6: racist bigots that they are and tried to gain whoop
- 1:26:22Speaker 6: this black man, they would have beat him sensens till
- 1:26:25Speaker 6: somebody came to the rescue. Man, y'all miss me with that.
- 1:26:28Speaker 6: I'm sorry. I know we ain't supposed to condone violence,
- 1:26:30Speaker 6: but I do. I don't condone violence, but I do
- 1:26:34Speaker 6: condone you know.
- 1:26:36Speaker 11: Yeah, yeah, jails Upstein, jails up.
- 1:26:39Speaker 2: Though.
- 1:26:40Speaker 6: I do condone justice though, even if there's no one
- 1:26:47Speaker 6: sitting there. And y'all have a great week, have a
- 1:26:53Speaker 6: great day.
- 1:26:53Speaker 1: We'll STI.
