- 0:00Speaker 1: More attacks by terrorists and shocking moves in the US
- 0:05Speaker 1: and also in Australia. Radicalized individuals connected to terrorist organizations
- 0:14Speaker 1: in Australia decided they were going to kill people for
- 0:19Speaker 1: one reason, because they were Jewish. We know a lot
- 0:25Speaker 1: more now about this attack. We know that the terrorist
- 0:30Speaker 1: target of the Jews at Body Beach for one reason
- 0:34Speaker 1: because they're Jewish. We now know the death toll has risen.
- 0:38Speaker 1: At the moment I am recording this to sixteen that
- 0:41Speaker 1: have died, twenty nine that were injured, children and a
- 0:47Speaker 1: rabbi were killed. They were also IEDs were being told
- 0:52Speaker 1: found near the scene, and there was a hero that
- 0:56Speaker 1: disarmed at jihadis without a weapon. We also are being
- 1:00Speaker 1: told that a father and son are apparently the suspects.
- 1:05Speaker 1: This is what happens when you allow people to come
- 1:08Speaker 1: into your country unvetted, When you allow people to come
- 1:11Speaker 1: into your country that actually hate your country, that hate freedom,
- 1:16Speaker 1: that hate free speech, that hate the ability for others
- 1:21Speaker 1: to disagree with them. This is what happens when you
- 1:24Speaker 1: allow people to come into your country. They believe in
- 1:28Speaker 1: Sharia law, and that believe that anyone that doesn't agree
- 1:32Speaker 1: with them religiously is an Infidel. That's how you get
- 1:37Speaker 1: twelve people, including one terrorist, that were killed in what
- 1:40Speaker 1: has been designated tear attack at Sydney's Body Beach on
- 1:44Speaker 1: Sunday evening. An additional twenty nine people were injured and
- 1:48Speaker 1: a second tear guman was arrested after the local Jewish
- 1:51Speaker 1: community was directly targeted. According to the latest coming out
- 1:55Speaker 1: of Australia, this area by the sea had about one
- 2:00Speaker 1: thousand people at an event was scheduled to take place
- 2:04Speaker 1: near a children's playground from five pm on and have
- 2:07Speaker 1: begun when the attack began at the iconic beach location.
- 2:11Speaker 1: What we now know is that this is truly just shocking.
- 2:16Speaker 1: The state Premier Chris Mens confirmed twelve individuals killed the attack.
- 2:22Speaker 1: One offender has also been killed and another is in custody.
- 2:26Speaker 1: He says the attack was designated to target Sydney's Jewish community.
- 2:32Speaker 1: That was very clear. What should have been a night
- 2:35Speaker 1: of peace and joy was shattered by a horrifying evil attack.
- 2:38Speaker 1: He added there were well over one thousand people in
- 2:41Speaker 1: attendance tonight is what the police commissioner said. They were
- 2:45Speaker 1: doing one thing, celebrating a Jewish holiday. Two State Police
- 2:50Speaker 1: officers were also among those shot. ABC News is reporting Now.
- 2:55Speaker 1: It was also confirmed late on Sunday evening that a
- 2:58Speaker 1: number of suspicious items had been found near the bridge
- 3:01Speaker 1: where the gunmen fired their rounds, including an improvise explosive
- 3:04Speaker 1: device and ied. The ID was removed by a bomb
- 3:08Speaker 1: squad specialists driven away in an armored car, The Daily
- 3:11Speaker 1: Mail is now reporting and as events unfolded around nine
- 3:15Speaker 1: pm local time there, police called it what they described
- 3:19Speaker 1: a developing incident, urging people to avoid the area altogether,
- 3:22Speaker 1: saying quote, anyone at the scene should take shelter. Police
- 3:26Speaker 1: are on the scene and more information will be provided
- 3:29Speaker 1: when it comes to hand, also saying we are still
- 3:32Speaker 1: asking people in the area to take shelter until we
- 3:35Speaker 1: can determine what is happening. Multiple patients were treated at
- 3:39Speaker 1: the scene and were transported to hospitals in the immediate
- 3:42Speaker 1: vicinity of Australia's biggest city, known as Sydney. News dot
- 3:47Speaker 1: Com Australia reports one of the targeted victims has since
- 3:52Speaker 1: been named as Rabbi Eli. Just hours before the event,
- 3:57Speaker 1: the rabbi was reportedly posting about the gathering to its
- 4:00Speaker 1: Facebook page. Book Book book for your free donut, he wrote.
- 4:05Speaker 1: Another friend posted about the rabbi's death, saying quote, he
- 4:08Speaker 1: was just doing his job, showing up being the constant,
- 4:11Speaker 1: relatable presence for his community. This is about my friend
- 4:15Speaker 1: who is gone. It hurts. It's confusing. You also have
- 4:21Speaker 1: what comes out from these stories, and that is the heroes.
- 4:25Speaker 1: A heroic bystander and I put this up on my
- 4:28Speaker 1: social media. You can follow it and see the video
- 4:31Speaker 1: on x and on Instagram. Ben Ferguson podcast on Instagram.
- 4:37Speaker 1: The heroic bystander, unarmed, tackled and disarmed a terrorist gunman
- 4:42Speaker 1: at Bondi Beach. The bystanderd showed complete disregard for his
- 4:46Speaker 1: own safety. He literally ran towards danger, not away from it.
- 4:51Speaker 1: He tackled one of the two terrorist gummen during that
- 4:53Speaker 1: mass shooting Sunday in which so many were murdered and
- 4:56Speaker 1: so many more were shot. Video of the scene shows
- 5:00Speaker 1: gum and standing on a footpath between a grassy area
- 5:02Speaker 1: and parking lot, holding a shotgun and firing randomly into
- 5:06Speaker 1: the distance of the Jewish holiday event. The bystander, who
- 5:09Speaker 1: is crouching unarmed behind a parked car, rushed towards the
- 5:13Speaker 1: shooter As he fires, he leaps on to the terrace
- 5:17Speaker 1: and wrestles a shotgun from his hand before the frightened,
- 5:19Speaker 1: disarmed man tries his camera away. The video shows a
- 5:23Speaker 1: terrorists meekly falling to the ground as the hero points
- 5:26Speaker 1: a shotgun at him as the gunman backs away. The
- 5:30Speaker 1: bystander then gently plays the shotgun against a tree and
- 5:32Speaker 1: pushes puts his hands in the air. Australian authorities declared
- 5:37Speaker 1: the incident a terrorist attack. At least twelve people were
- 5:40Speaker 1: killed in the assault at the celebration, including one of
- 5:45Speaker 1: the shooters, and as I mentioned before, at least twenty
- 5:48Speaker 1: nine were injured. The good news is at least authorities
- 5:54Speaker 1: are declaring and being honest about what this was, a
- 5:58Speaker 1: terrorist attack to reality of fear that many Australian Jews
- 6:02Speaker 1: say they have been living with that they are no
- 6:04Speaker 1: longer safe in the country that was supposed to protect them.
- 6:08Speaker 1: The President called the shooting quote a very cruel attack
- 6:12Speaker 1: on Jews who went to light the first candle of
- 6:15Speaker 1: Hanukkah on Bondi Beach in a speech at an event
- 6:19Speaker 1: in Jerusalem. We also now know that he called on
- 6:23Speaker 1: Australia to fight against the enormous wave of anti Semitism
- 6:28Speaker 1: which is plaguing Australia society quote unquote in Australia, some
- 6:33Speaker 1: lawmakers were quick to both condemn the attack and warn
- 6:36Speaker 1: of what the future holds. One of their sentators there,
- 6:40Speaker 1: the founder and Leader of One Nation, led the way, saying,
- 6:44Speaker 1: quote today is an extremely dark day for our nation,
- 6:49Speaker 1: particularly the Australian Jewish community, which appears to be the
- 6:55Speaker 1: target of this terrorist attack. The Prime Minister never heeded
- 6:59Speaker 1: the warning signs, including the weekly anti Semitic protests across
- 7:03Speaker 1: our nation. Hate speech from certain religious clerics are obnoxious,
- 7:09Speaker 1: universities and probabletarists alert. I stand with Australia's Jewish community,
- 7:16Speaker 1: who tonight deserve our absolute solts. You have the same
- 7:20Speaker 1: right to live in peace and harmony as all Australians.
- 7:24Speaker 1: Authorities must be honest when revealing the identities and backgrounds
- 7:28Speaker 1: of these murderers. I could not agree more about exactly
- 7:34Speaker 1: what I read there from Senator Pauline Hansen. You put
- 7:38Speaker 1: all this in perspective and I just got to be
- 7:42Speaker 1: honest with you. This was something that was clearly avoidable.
- 7:47Speaker 1: This is something that this Prime Minister as it was
- 7:50Speaker 1: described perfectly, had been warned about, and what happened political
- 7:55Speaker 1: correctness has now cost the lives of countless individuals, and
- 7:59Speaker 1: that is the status part of all. More after this,
- 8:04Speaker 1: before we get to the other tragic event that happened
- 8:08Speaker 1: over the weekend at Brown University, I do want to
- 8:11Speaker 1: just pause and take a moment for you to understand
- 8:14Speaker 1: exactly what Democrats are now doing after the shooting that
- 8:18Speaker 1: happened at Brown and also what just happened in Australia.
- 8:23Speaker 1: Senator Cassidy was on Say the Union on CNN. He
- 8:28Speaker 1: was asked about the two killed and the nine injured
- 8:30Speaker 1: in the Brown University shooting, and I want you to
- 8:33Speaker 1: listen carefully to what he had to say about gun
- 8:36Speaker 1: violence in this country and also around the world, and
- 8:40Speaker 1: how democrats immediately go to not blaming the person or
- 8:45Speaker 1: the policy that allowed people into Australia or into this country.
- 8:48Speaker 1: Instead they do one thing, They blame the gun. Always
- 8:53Speaker 1: take a listen to this.
- 8:54Speaker 2: I think targeting students this time at Brown University. Here
- 8:57Speaker 2: with me now is Republican Senator Bill Cassidy of Louisiana,
- 9:01Speaker 2: also the chair of the Senate Health Committee. Thank you
- 9:04Speaker 2: so much for being here, sir. I do want to
- 9:06Speaker 2: get your reaction to this tragic shooting in Providence.
- 9:12Speaker 3: Yeah, isn't it awful as a parent, as a grandfather,
- 9:16Speaker 3: the fact that you would send your child off to school,
- 9:18Speaker 3: they're in their finals, you're saying a prayer for their grades,
- 9:22Speaker 3: and it turns out there's a shooting and you're saying
- 9:24Speaker 3: a prayer for their health and safety, and sometimes am memoriam.
- 9:30Speaker 3: So we have to learn more, Donna. As you know,
- 9:32Speaker 3: we don't know anything about it yet except a man
- 9:34Speaker 3: in his thirties apparently entered presumably not a student at
- 9:38Speaker 3: that age. We don't know for sure. But again, everybody
- 9:42Speaker 3: in spirit be with those parents, those grandparents, those students.
- 9:47Speaker 2: Senator, I want you to listen to something that Brown
- 9:50Speaker 2: University's sophomore Zoe Weisman told my colleague Jim Shudo. She
- 9:55Speaker 2: said that she's now because she's there, lived through her
- 9:59Speaker 2: second school shooting, because she grew up in Florida and
- 10:03Speaker 2: witnessed the twenty eighteen shooting at Marjorie Stoneman Douglas High
- 10:07Speaker 2: School in Parkland. Listen to what she said.
- 10:11Speaker 3: I think that we've seen time and time again, Congress.
- 10:14Speaker 4: Is failed to show that they actually care about their constituents,
- 10:17Speaker 4: and if they did, it would immediately beast comprehensive and
- 10:20Speaker 4: violence correction.
- 10:22Speaker 2: Senator, what do you say to Zoe?
- 10:26Speaker 3: I would say that after the shooting in Texas and Nevaldi,
- 10:29Speaker 3: Congress passed a Safer Communities Act on a bipartisan basis
- 10:34Speaker 3: that created many things that would address all the issues
- 10:37Speaker 3: of which she speaks. Now, if she's going to say,
- 10:40Speaker 3: wait a second, we need gun control laws, there is
- 10:42Speaker 3: the also shooting we just occurred in Australia in which
- 10:46Speaker 3: there are gun control laws, and yet this still occurred. Again,
- 10:50Speaker 3: we don't know the facts of this, but in the
- 10:52Speaker 3: Avaldi shooting, we addressed not just mental illness, but also
- 10:57Speaker 3: background checks, also the girl friend loophole, other things that
- 11:04Speaker 3: would attempt to address this. And I would argue that
- 11:07Speaker 3: if the facts are known, you will see the Congress
- 11:09Speaker 3: has acted.
- 11:11Speaker 2: Senator Murphy was just on here, and I know you
- 11:14Speaker 2: voted for that legislation that you just let me just.
- 11:17Speaker 1: Hit pause here. You notice how fast they go to
- 11:20Speaker 1: push their agenda, their political agenda. That political agenda is
- 11:26Speaker 1: there's a shooting, and immediately we scream we must have
- 11:29Speaker 1: gun control. Right, everything is about gun control. We don't
- 11:36Speaker 1: care about the facts, we don't care about what guns
- 11:38Speaker 1: were used, we don't care about anything, just gun control.
- 11:44Speaker 1: I look at this and it is incredibly frustrating. Democrats
- 11:52Speaker 1: have also gone to another low. They're now actually blaming
- 11:58Speaker 1: Donald Trump for the shooting at Brown University. You had
- 12:03Speaker 1: Democratic Senator Chris Murphy going on CNN State of the
- 12:08Speaker 1: Union and said the Brown University shooting was a result
- 12:11Speaker 1: to President Donald Trump's dizzying campaign to increase violence in
- 12:17Speaker 1: this country. Murphy said, if you look at states like Connecticut,
- 12:21Speaker 1: Rhode Island, Massachusetts, California that have, as he described it,
- 12:25Speaker 1: stronger laws, we have gun violence rates, murder rates, mass
- 12:30Speaker 1: shooting rates that are two to three four times lower
- 12:34Speaker 1: than states that have loose gun laws. And many of
- 12:36Speaker 1: the weapons that are used in our states for gun
- 12:39Speaker 1: crimes come from our states, from those states that have
- 12:42Speaker 1: the ability for criminals and people with serious mental illness
- 12:45Speaker 1: to buy weapons. By the way, that's just a flat
- 12:48Speaker 1: out lie. He went on to say, So, what we
- 12:52Speaker 1: know is that stronger laws do work. Since we passed
- 12:55Speaker 1: the bill in twenty twenty two, the first bill in
- 12:58Speaker 1: thirty years at strengthens and nones gun laws. Gun violence
- 13:01Speaker 1: rates and mass shooting rates have come down in this country.
- 13:04Speaker 1: By the way, just out of curiosity, I would ask
- 13:07Speaker 1: Senator Murphy then, explain to me the violently high crime
- 13:10Speaker 1: rates in cities that have intense gun laws, like Chicago,
- 13:15Speaker 1: New York, Washington, d C. They have what he describes
- 13:19Speaker 1: these amazing gun laws, and they have out of control
- 13:22Speaker 1: violent crime. He is saying it's time to restore, as
- 13:29Speaker 1: he describes it, and again, this blows my mind gun
- 13:33Speaker 1: control laws that protect all of us, he said. Instead,
- 13:38Speaker 1: what is shocking his President Trump has been engaged in
- 13:41Speaker 1: a dizzy campaign to increase violence in this country. He
- 13:45Speaker 1: is restoring the rights of felons and people who have
- 13:47Speaker 1: lost their ability to buy guns. He eliminated the White
- 13:50Speaker 1: House Office of Gun Violence Protection, and he has stopped
- 13:54Speaker 1: fundamental health grants and community anti violence gun grants. The
- 13:58Speaker 1: Republicans and Democrats supporting the twenty twenty two bill. So
- 14:02Speaker 1: he's been engaged in a pretty deliberate campaign to try
- 14:04Speaker 1: to make violence more likely in this country. I think
- 14:07Speaker 1: you're unfortunately going to see the results of that on
- 14:10Speaker 1: the streets of America. Now, let's also be clear, this
- 14:14Speaker 1: is the same president that is lowering crime to some
- 14:18Speaker 1: of the lowest levels I've seen in my lifetime my
- 14:20Speaker 1: hometown of Memphis, Tennessee. This is the same president that's
- 14:23Speaker 1: lowered gun crimes and violent crime in Washington, d C.
- 14:28Speaker 1: To an incredibly low level, lower than it's ever been
- 14:32Speaker 1: since two thousand and two, and they believe it's going
- 14:37Speaker 1: to continue to go lower. So when you look at
- 14:43Speaker 1: the claims compared to reality, they are completely out of touch,
- 14:50Speaker 1: completely clueless, and have no idea what is actually being done.
- 14:57Speaker 1: That is the part that I think is the most shocked.
- 15:01Speaker 1: They have no clue, They have no idea what is happening.
- 15:09Speaker 1: They just want to blame Donald Trump. Are they going
- 15:14Speaker 1: to save lives?
- 15:15Speaker 3: No?
- 15:16Speaker 1: Are they going to blame Donald Trump? Yes? Do they
- 15:19Speaker 1: always blame Donald Trump? Yes? Do they hate Donald Trump? Yes?
- 15:26Speaker 1: If there is a mass shooting, will they give you
- 15:29Speaker 1: the facts?
- 15:30Speaker 2: No?
- 15:31Speaker 1: If the shooter is a liberal or a radical or
- 15:33Speaker 1: a isis connected person, do they want to tell you
- 15:35Speaker 1: about that. No. All they want to do is blame
- 15:38Speaker 1: Donald Trump. They have not you notice, blame the actual
- 15:42Speaker 1: shooter at the Brown University shooting, and if it comes
- 15:46Speaker 1: out that this person is a leftist, they'll say nothing.
- 15:50Speaker 1: In fact, they're hoping it's some sort of conservative that
- 15:54Speaker 1: has done this so then they can go after conservatives
- 15:57Speaker 1: and attack them and then say, see, we need more
- 15:59Speaker 1: gun control, and you're the reason why people are dying.
- 16:04Speaker 1: That's what this is actually all about. I want to
- 16:09Speaker 1: get your phone calls, and I want to get your

- 16:31Speaker 1: all of this, these two attacks, and it really just
- 16:35Speaker 1: seems to be about one thing, and one thing only.
- 16:38Speaker 1: It seems to be about attack Donald Trump and go
- 16:41Speaker 1: after a policy instead of the actual criminals. That's what
- 16:46Speaker 1: it does seem to be about. All right, it's almost Christmas,

- 18:29Speaker 1: This goes back to what the President said, why are
- 18:32Speaker 1: we letting people into this country if we don't actually
- 18:35Speaker 1: know who they are? Why are we letting people in
- 18:38Speaker 1: this country? If they actually hate America? Why would we
- 18:44Speaker 1: let them in to any of these countries? And again,
- 18:47Speaker 1: I think it's a very very fair question to ask
- 18:51Speaker 1: if they have genuine hatred and disdain for the United
- 18:54Speaker 1: States of America, Australia should be asking themselves that question.
- 19:02Speaker 1: Australia should be really looking at this and saying what
- 19:07Speaker 1: have we done? Who have we led into this country
- 19:12Speaker 1: that shouldn't be here? Who have we led into this country?
- 19:17Speaker 1: There is a threat to our nation. That is something
- 19:21Speaker 1: that we should all be talking about. The Australian officials
- 19:25Speaker 1: will confirmed that the perpetrators are the anti Semitic attack
- 19:27Speaker 1: at Bonnie Beach and Sydney where a father and a son.
- 19:31Speaker 1: They've just come out with that information. This is people
- 19:34Speaker 1: being radicalized by their own families. You think about that
- 19:41Speaker 1: and you go why is this happening over and over again.
- 19:47Speaker 5: The offenders are fifty year old and twenty four year
- 19:50Speaker 5: old Mile, who are father and son. The fifty year
- 19:55Speaker 5: old is deceased, twenty four year old is currently in hospital.
- 19:59Speaker 4: At the moment.
- 20:01Speaker 1: You listen to the update coming from Australia, and what
- 20:05Speaker 1: you learn from just listening for even just a moment,
- 20:11Speaker 1: that these individuals were radicalized within their homes. They were
- 20:19Speaker 1: radicalized by their family, by their friends, by the people,
- 20:27Speaker 1: by the way they go they go to this, their
- 20:30Speaker 1: mosques with That's how they're radicalized. And it's something that
- 20:39Speaker 1: we should all be talking about because over and over
- 20:44Speaker 1: and over and over and over and over there have
- 20:51Speaker 1: been warnings Australian politicians are not the ones who are
- 20:54Speaker 1: running our country. Is how it was described today. Watch
- 20:59Speaker 1: a Victorian cent who is a politician who works in
- 21:03Speaker 1: the Austrian Federal Parliament. He spells it out, crystal clear
- 21:07Speaker 1: exactly what the situation is. And I want you to
- 21:12Speaker 1: listen to what he had to say about Australia and
- 21:15Speaker 1: the problem they have.
- 21:17Speaker 6: And I'm sitting in my nation's capital now and I'm
- 21:20Speaker 6: telling you from my experience, the people that you elect
- 21:24Speaker 6: to run your country are puppets. They are not the
- 21:29Speaker 6: true wielders of power. Donald Trump likes to call this
- 21:34Speaker 6: for deep state, and I'm going to tell you now
- 21:36Speaker 6: about the deep state is alive and well in Australia,
- 21:40Speaker 6: and it is alive and well in the UK. Of
- 21:43Speaker 6: course it's alive and well in the United States. We're
- 21:46Speaker 6: all seeing that play out right now. So do everything
- 21:50Speaker 6: you can. Everyone that's watching this broadcast, everyone that's hearing
- 21:54Speaker 6: my voice, you must be more involved in the political process.
- 22:00Speaker 6: Must take action. You need to be active because if
- 22:03Speaker 6: you're not active, the people behind the scenes that sit
- 22:06Speaker 6: in the shadows, and they are there that control the
- 22:09Speaker 6: levers of power, they don't have your best interests at heart.
- 22:13Speaker 6: And I choose my words very carefully here, they don't
- 22:16Speaker 6: have your best interests at heart. These authoritarian tyrants want
- 22:20Speaker 6: nothing but to see you be a serf, be a slave,
- 22:23Speaker 6: be a peasant while they sit at the top of
- 22:25Speaker 6: the pinnacle of power, and they use their agents in
- 22:28Speaker 6: the Parliament to bring that to pass. So do not
- 22:32Speaker 6: be complacent. Get active, join a party, run a parliament,
- 22:37Speaker 6: make your voice heard. Because the West, all of the West,
- 22:41Speaker 6: is looking down a barrel. Right now. I'm going to
- 22:45Speaker 6: tell everyone, I.
- 22:47Speaker 1: Mean, you listen to what he said, this is not
- 22:53Speaker 1: something that wasn't seen. This was something that everybody knew
- 22:59Speaker 1: was having opening. There were real warnings about it. This
- 23:08Speaker 1: was not a shock. This was something that people had
- 23:13Speaker 1: been saying in Australia was getting out of control. Officials
- 23:21Speaker 1: were being told recovered explosive devices in a car near
- 23:24Speaker 1: Australian terror attack. That's just another example of how things
- 23:30Speaker 1: are changing very quickly. People understand that political correctness can
- 23:36Speaker 1: get you killed. Listen to this from Fox Judor.
- 23:41Speaker 7: After a horrific terror attack at a hunacup party in Sydney, Australia,
- 23:45Speaker 7: marking the worst attack on the Jewish community since October seventh,
- 23:49Speaker 7: Chief Foreign Correspondentory Yngst is here with the latest hay Tree.
- 23:55Speaker 8: Yeah, hey guys, good morning. There's been a terrorist attack
- 23:57Speaker 8: in Sydney, Australia. At least twelve people are dead and
- 24:00Speaker 8: more than two dozen wounded after two gunmen opened fire
- 24:04Speaker 8: on Jews at a Hanaka party along Bondai Beach. Australia's
- 24:08Speaker 8: Prime Minister reacted to the event, saying.
- 24:10Speaker 9: This this is a targeted attack on Jewish Australians on
- 24:16Speaker 9: the first day of Hanukkah, which should be a day
- 24:20Speaker 9: of joy, a celebration of faith, an act of evil,
- 24:25Speaker 9: anti Semitism, terrorism that has struck the heart of our nation.
- 24:33Speaker 8: Local police put out a statement saying two people are
- 24:35Speaker 8: in police custody at Bandai Beach. However, the police operation
- 24:38Speaker 8: is ongoing and we continue to urge people to avoid
- 24:41Speaker 8: the area. Please obey all police directions, do not cross
- 24:44Speaker 8: police lines.
- 24:45Speaker 1: Now they have.
- 24:46Speaker 8: Updated this statement to say one of the attackers is dead,
- 24:49Speaker 8: another remains in police custody. This event was scheduled to
- 24:52Speaker 8: start at five pm local time in Sydney and was
- 24:54Speaker 8: advertised for all ages, with music, games and fun. One
- 24:58Speaker 8: person describes what they saw and heard nearby.
- 25:02Speaker 4: As soon as I arrived, we heard pop pop, pop
- 25:06Speaker 4: pop pop. We at first thought it was fireworks, so
- 25:10Speaker 4: we did not react. People around us did not react,
- 25:14Speaker 4: and then the popping did not stop. It was continuous,
- 25:18Speaker 4: and then people started to panic and we started to
- 25:23Speaker 4: see hundreds of people running around, not sure where the
- 25:28Speaker 4: sound was coming from. I'm sure again if it was
- 25:32Speaker 4: fireworks or if it was shooting bullets.
- 25:37Speaker 8: We're also getting reaction from Israeli officials following this terrorist
- 25:40Speaker 8: attack in Australia. Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Nett Yahoo says
- 25:44Speaker 8: anti Semitism is a cancer spreading around the world. Trump
- 25:48Speaker 8: administration officials also weighing in, with Attorney General Pam Bondi saying, quote,
- 25:53Speaker 8: heartbreaking news from Sydney, Australia. My prayers go out to
- 25:56Speaker 8: the victims, their families, and the Jewish community. The Attorney
- 25:59Speaker 8: General an advocate for Jews, not only in the United
- 26:02Speaker 8: States but around the world. Again, the latest information that
- 26:05Speaker 8: we have though, twelve murdered in Sydney, Australia during this
- 26:09Speaker 8: terrorist attack, and police remain on the scene there along
- 26:12Speaker 8: the beach.
- 26:12Speaker 1: Guys.
- 26:13Speaker 10: Back to you, hi, Trey, We're finally seeing this video
- 26:16Speaker 10: of the civilian in Australia on Vondai Beach taking down
- 26:21Speaker 10: the shooter. So he's behind a vehicle, he sees the shooter,
- 26:25Speaker 10: he tackles him, wrestles away the gun, takes the gun
- 26:29Speaker 10: and then it looks like he's going to fire at him,
- 26:33Speaker 10: but that doesn't happen. What do you see Is this
- 26:36Speaker 10: that the bullets have run out? Is it perhaps that
- 26:39Speaker 10: you know, this is a country that you know has
- 26:41Speaker 10: very strict gun laws, maybe not as many trained gun
- 26:44Speaker 10: users as it possibly doesn't know how to use the gun,
- 26:47Speaker 10: clearly a hero though nonetheless Trey.
- 26:52Speaker 8: Local media in Australia is reporting that the man's name
- 26:55Speaker 8: is Ahmed al Ahmed, a forty three year old who
- 26:58Speaker 8: runs a fruit stand by and he, as you see
- 27:01Speaker 8: in this video, takes down the gunman and takes the
- 27:04Speaker 8: weapon from him, ultimately disarming him and stopping some of
- 27:08Speaker 8: the killing that was taking place there. He's being praised
- 27:10Speaker 8: as a hero across Australia and the world. We don't
- 27:14Speaker 8: know the specifics as to why the gun was not
- 27:17Speaker 8: fired at that point, or if it malfunctioned, but we
- 27:19Speaker 8: do know that officials on the scene have recovered at
- 27:21Speaker 8: least two firearms, and they also say in a vehicle
- 27:24Speaker 8: near to where this terrorist attack took place, they recovered
- 27:28Speaker 8: an ied and improvised explosive device, again an indication that
- 27:32Speaker 8: these two terrorists planned meticulously to go after Jews who
- 27:36Speaker 8: were celebrating the first night of Hanukkah along the beach
- 27:39Speaker 8: there in Sydney.
- 27:40Speaker 7: Can you tell us anything more about that vehicle? Was
- 27:44Speaker 7: it a vehicle that I assume it's a vehicle that
- 27:46Speaker 7: they both arrived in.
- 27:50Speaker 8: We don't know the specifics The information that we received
- 27:53Speaker 8: just was from Australian authorities who held a press conference
- 27:55Speaker 8: earlier today confirming that there were twelve individuals murdered and
- 27:59Speaker 8: more than two dozen wounded. We saw some aerial images
- 28:02Speaker 8: in local news media and Australia of this vehicle that
- 28:05Speaker 8: was surrounded by Australian security forces. We don't know the
- 28:09Speaker 8: details about how they arrived. All of this taking place
- 28:12Speaker 8: again just a few hours ago in Sydney, Australia, but
- 28:15Speaker 8: we do anticipate that Australian authorities will update as they
- 28:19Speaker 8: gather more information into this investigation. Local media and Australia
- 28:23Speaker 8: also reporting that first responders arrived at a scene near
- 28:27Speaker 8: to where the shooting took place, a house where they
- 28:29Speaker 8: believed one of the individuals was previously living.
- 28:33Speaker 1: I'll say it again, it is very clear that there
- 28:37Speaker 1: was warning signs on this long ago. There were elected
- 28:43Speaker 1: officials saying, what are we doing? Why are we letting in?
- 28:46Speaker 1: Some of you aple to hate this country and now
- 28:49Speaker 1: you witness this
