  I'm thinking today of Deuteronomy 18.2 and there the Lord is talking about the Levites.

  And he says of them that they shall have no inheritance among their countrymen.
• 0:18
  That means they wouldn't have any lands in the area that they were going to settle in.

  The Lord is their inheritance as he promised them.
• 0:26
  This verse is no subtle reminder to me that the Lord literally replaces everything.

  Everything that you could possibly have you would readily give it to possess God in your life.

  To live afterwards in eternity with God is so much better.

  Those who would serve God and would be owned by God in a sense,
• 0:43
  spreading God whenever possible to anyone who would listen,

  would need no earthly real estate.

  God would be enough for them.
• 0:51
  God must be enough for us as well.

  Nobody likes to endure tragedy and as we travel the highway of holiness as Isaiah calls it,

  we know there will be sorrow and sighing and we ask God,

  please God help us every day, bless us every day, make us to lie down in green pastures.

  And he does do that in many, many cases.

  We must remember that if we are owned by God and we are his people,
• 1:12
  that he is so much more than anything this life has to offer.

  So when you're in the middle of the worst difficulties of your life,
• 1:19
  know that if you have God, you literally have eternity available to you.

  To spend with God, don't let what you're going through now loom large
• 1:27
  and make you forget about the blessings that you really have if you have God.

  If you don't have God, here's how you do it.

  Accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior today.

  A Lord is someone who tells you what to do and you do it
• 1:36
  and a Savior is someone who paid the price for your sins.
• 1:39
  And in so doing, calling upon the Lord, the word says,
• 1:42
  you will be saved and saved means reborn, restarted
• 1:45
  and we will spend eternity together with God.
• 1:47
  And if we are owned by God and have God, we have everything.
