  I'm thinking today of a verse in Mark chapter

  1, verse 30. It says, Simon's mother -in -law

  was in bed with a fever, and they told Jesus

  about her. I love this verse because it reminds

  me that they told Jesus about her, not that they
• 0:19
  told her about Jesus. We do know that as Jesus
• 0:22
  traveled through Galilee, he was restrained from
• 0:25
  doing as many miracles of healing as he had done
• 0:28
  in other places because he found so little faith
• 0:30
  there. Here we know that the disciples told Jesus
• 0:35
  about her illness. Elsewhere we know that four
• 0:39
  men carried a paralytic to Jesus to be healed.
• 0:43
  The bottom line is this. The concerns of your
• 0:46
  heart need to be lifted up to God. When you are
• 0:49
  praying, you need to think of yourself as entering
• 0:51
  the very throne room of God and tell God about
• 0:54
  the things that concern you, about your loved
• 0:57
  ones who aren't well, about problems in your
• 1:00
  life, etc. And where God wants to bless you with
• 1:03
  incredible miracles and changes of situation,
• 1:07
  He'll do so. Our focus needs to be on coming
• 1:12
  to Jesus with our concerns. In whatever situation
• 1:15
  we're in, as difficult as it may be, We need
• 1:18
  to talk to Jesus. Jesus can do incredible things.
• 1:23
  Has done. I've seen incredible healings. But
• 1:26
  in other cases, I've seen there was no healing.
• 1:30
  Trust Jesus to decide what's right. And then,
• 1:34
  he'll decide what's right for us when we go to
• 1:35
  be with him for eternity. And we'll be glad for
• 1:38
  it.
