- 0:01Speaker 1: US X ambassador has now been charged as a secret
- 0:06Speaker 1: agent in Cuba.
- 0:08Speaker 2: Why does this story matter to you?
- 0:11Speaker 1: It is one of the biggest breaches in our security
- 0:15Speaker 1: in this country in decades, and they're now saying it
- 0:18Speaker 1: is one of the worst because it wasn't just Cuba,
- 0:21Speaker 1: it was those that are allies to Cuba that were
- 0:23Speaker 1: getting information intel on the United States of America that
- 0:27Speaker 1: includes top secret information. What this also brings up is
- 0:33Speaker 1: just how bad the deep state in this country has become,
- 0:36Speaker 1: because instead of focusing on things like secret agents that
- 0:41Speaker 1: are spying within our country, they're spoken, they're focusing on
- 0:45Speaker 1: a woke agenda. They're focusing on filling quotas, they're focusing
- 0:50Speaker 1: on the LGBTQIA and transgendered in bathrooms, and they're focused
- 0:55Speaker 1: on targeting American citizens. They're also focused on the wrongest
- 1:00Speaker 1: who's like grandmothers who happened to be on the lawn
- 1:02Speaker 1: of the Capitol on January the sixth, treating them like
- 1:05Speaker 1: they are the same as al Qaeda or isis tracking
- 1:09Speaker 1: down people that were in and around January sixth. This
- 1:13Speaker 1: also goes back to what we are witnessing now with
- 1:15Speaker 1: the EOJ, where they're wanting to spy on an enemy's list.
- 1:19Speaker 1: Anyone and I talked about this the other day, anyone
- 1:23Speaker 1: that liked to tweet retweet a tweet from Donald Trump
- 1:25Speaker 1: during the last four months that he was the sitting
- 1:28Speaker 1: president of the United States of America. That was the
- 1:31Speaker 1: request coming from the DOJ two X formerly known as Twitter. Now,
- 1:37Speaker 1: I remind you that the same group of people, by
- 1:40Speaker 1: the way that we're doing all that, we're also doing
- 1:42Speaker 1: something else that you need to remember, and that is
- 1:45Speaker 1: they were spying on moms and dads and referring to
- 1:50Speaker 1: mothers and fathers that were involved in their kids' lives
- 1:53Speaker 1: at their school as actual domestic terrorists. Why were they
- 1:58Speaker 1: calling them domestic tariffs because they were showing up at
- 2:00Speaker 1: school boards and sending up for their kids' rights as
- 2:03Speaker 1: they were trying to be indoctrinated, Which is disgusting by
- 2:08Speaker 1: these liberal, woke individuals who were trying to indoctrinate and
- 2:11Speaker 1: turn your children against you.
- 2:13Speaker 2: Now, I also will go back to what the FBI said.
- 2:17Speaker 1: The FBI said that parents, and this was in their
- 2:20Speaker 1: field offices, should be treated as domestic terrace, no different
- 2:24Speaker 1: than Al Qaeda or ISIS. If you showed up to
- 2:28Speaker 1: a school board meeting. Think about all that is. I
- 2:31Speaker 1: now tell you this unbelievable story that a usx ambassador
- 2:37Speaker 1: has now been charged as a secret agent for Cuba.
- 2:40Speaker 1: Victor Manuel Rocca, who served in US embassies across Latin America,
- 2:47Speaker 1: is now accused of spying for Havanah's secret intelligence service
- 2:51Speaker 1: for decades. This former senior US diplomat, who served in
- 2:57Speaker 1: embassies across Latin America, was accused of spying for Cuba's
- 3:01Speaker 1: intelligence service for decades and where the highest reaching and
- 3:06Speaker 1: longest lasting security breaches of the United States government period.
- 3:11Speaker 1: This according to the criminal complaint that was unsealed. Victor
- 3:15Speaker 1: Manuel Roca, a former US ambassador to Bolivia, so we
- 3:19Speaker 1: had to go through extensive background checks and had to
- 3:22Speaker 1: be confirmed by the Senate, was arrested by the Federal
- 3:26Speaker 1: Bureau of Investigation on Friday. The unsealed complaint said that
- 3:30Speaker 1: the seventy three year old Roca had worked for Cuba's
- 3:34Speaker 1: communist government as a covert agent since at least the
- 3:38Speaker 1: early nineteen eighties until now, that means more than forty years.
- 3:45Speaker 2: Quote.
- 3:45Speaker 1: Roca secretly supported the Republic of Cuba and its clandestine
- 3:50Speaker 1: intelligence gathering mission against the United States of America by
- 3:54Speaker 1: serving as a covert agent of Cuba's intelligence services.
- 3:58Speaker 2: The complaint states, doing so, they.
- 4:00Speaker 1: Accused Roca providing false information to the US and traveled
- 4:06Speaker 1: outside the country to meet with Cuban undercover agents. According
- 4:09Speaker 1: to the complaint, Now, during the US investigation, Roca met
- 4:14Speaker 1: with an undercover FBI officer who was pretending to be
- 4:19Speaker 1: a Cuban agent three times. This happened the last two years.
- 4:23Speaker 1: According to the complaint, all three meetings during which Roca
- 4:27Speaker 1: used undercover Cuban spycraft were audio taped and videotaped. Now,
- 4:33Speaker 1: during the first meeting, they say in Miami, Roca said
- 4:37Speaker 1: he had been told by Cuba's intelligence service to lead
- 4:40Speaker 1: a quote normal life, and that he was publicly espoused
- 4:45Speaker 1: right wing and that he publicly espoused right wing political
- 4:49Speaker 1: leanings to maintain his cover. Again this go according to
- 4:54Speaker 1: the complaint, but throughout the meetings, Roka referred to the
- 4:58Speaker 1: US as quote, the enemy. He praised Fidel Castro, and
- 5:03Speaker 1: referred to his contacts in Cuban intelligence as his Companero's
- 5:08Speaker 1: that according to the complaint, His lawyer, by the way,
- 5:11Speaker 1: has not responded yet to these shocking allegations. What we
- 5:17Speaker 1: also know is former diplomat said this is likely to
- 5:20Speaker 1: be the worst breach by Cuban intelligence of the US government,
- 5:24Speaker 1: surpassing that of Anna Melen Montes, a senior Cuban analysis
- 5:31Speaker 1: at the Defense Intelligence Agency who pleaded guilty to spying
- 5:35Speaker 1: for Cuban two thousand and two. She was released in
- 5:39Speaker 1: prison from prison in twenty twenty three.
- 5:42Speaker 2: Quote.
- 5:43Speaker 1: This is ten times worse. It was a great coup
- 5:46Speaker 1: for the Cubans, is what John Freeley, a former US
- 5:50Speaker 1: ambassador to Panama, saying. He said Roco was his mentor
- 5:54Speaker 1: when he entered the foreign service. A spokesman for Cuban's
- 5:57Speaker 1: embassy in Washington didn't respond to requests for comment either.
- 6:02Speaker 1: Investigators search Roca's home on Friday and are working to
- 6:06Speaker 1: assess what he may have passed to Cuba over the years,
- 6:09Speaker 1: according to people familiar with the inquiry. The Justice Department
- 6:13Speaker 1: says and they showed an image which was provided to
- 6:17Speaker 1: the public, which contained an affidavit in support of its
- 6:20Speaker 1: criminal complaint, showing Rocca during a meeting with the FBI
- 6:24Speaker 1: undercover agent.
- 6:26Speaker 2: Again, all of this caught on tape.
- 6:28Speaker 1: Columbia born Roca served in the top post in Bolivia,
- 6:33Speaker 1: in the top post in Argentina, in the top post
- 6:36Speaker 1: in Dominican Republic, in the top post in hunt Duras,
- 6:40Speaker 1: and the top post and as well in Mexico.
- 6:44Speaker 2: He was quote a.
- 6:45Speaker 1: Latin American expert at the National Security Council as well
- 6:50Speaker 1: in Washington. In fact, from nineteen ninety five to nineteen
- 6:54Speaker 1: ninety seven, he served as deputy Principal Officer at the
- 6:58Speaker 1: US Interest Section in the de facto US Embassy when
- 7:03Speaker 1: the two countries lacked diplomatic relations. According to the complaint
- 7:09Speaker 1: in Havana, he had access and security clearance to information
- 7:14Speaker 1: that could have been extremely valuable to the Cuban government,
- 7:19Speaker 1: Freely said in the statement. Roca also worked for the
- 7:22Speaker 1: US government during a critical period when Cuba and the
- 7:25Speaker 1: Soviet Union.
- 7:26Speaker 2: Were Cold War foes with the US.
- 7:29Speaker 1: The USSR and the US nearly went to war in
- 7:32Speaker 1: the early nineteen sixties after the US discovered that Soviets
- 7:36Speaker 1: had placed nuclear missiles in Cuba. Roka lived in Chile
- 7:40Speaker 1: back in nineteen seventy three, during the period that the
- 7:44Speaker 1: country's socialist president was overthrown by a US bat coup,
- 7:49Speaker 1: former US diplomat say he might have begun to embrace
- 7:52Speaker 1: socialists and Cuban ideology. Then, the undercover FBI agent who
- 7:57Speaker 1: first contacted Roca in twenty twenty two to be a
- 8:01Speaker 1: Cuban spy, told the diplomat that he knew Roca had
- 8:04Speaker 1: been a great friend of ours since his.
- 8:06Speaker 2: Time in Chile.
- 8:08Speaker 1: Roca, who holds degrees from Yale, Harvard, and Georgetown Universities,
- 8:14Speaker 1: joined the State Department in nineteen eighty one, so forty
- 8:17Speaker 1: two years ago, serving as Honduras Desk Officer when the
- 8:21Speaker 1: US was backing contrat rebels against the Marxist Sandinista government
- 8:27Speaker 1: in neighboring Nicaragua. Rocca also served as an advisor to
- 8:31Speaker 1: the commander of the US Southern Command, which oversees US
- 8:35Speaker 1: military relations with Latin American countries, including Cuba, from two
- 8:40Speaker 1: thousand and six to twenty twelve.
- 8:43Speaker 2: Quote.
- 8:43Speaker 1: This action exposes one of the highest reaching and longest
- 8:47Speaker 1: lasting infiltrations of the United States government by a foreign agent.
- 8:51Speaker 1: That is what the Attorney General Merritt Garland said in
- 8:54Speaker 1: a statement. Roca's position within the US government would provide
- 8:58Speaker 1: him with access to non public information and the ability
- 9:03Speaker 1: to affect US foreign policy, Garland said on Monday. After
- 9:09Speaker 1: retiring from the State Department, Roca had a second career
- 9:12Speaker 1: serving in lucrative jobs for firms doing business in Latin America.
- 9:17Speaker 2: The complaint continued. He was hired in September.
- 9:21Speaker 1: To work in the US unit of Spanish public relations
- 9:24Speaker 1: firm as a senior international business advisor, all the while
- 9:28Speaker 1: cultivating the facade of a conservative and supporter of former
- 9:33Speaker 1: President Donald Trump.
- 9:35Speaker 2: Quote.
- 9:36Speaker 1: I have created the legend of a right wing person,
- 9:39Speaker 1: he told the FBI agent a tape conversation. He appeared
- 9:43Speaker 1: to also deploy that tactic. In two thousand and two,
- 9:46Speaker 1: when he was ambassador to Bolivia, Roca publicly railed against
- 9:50Speaker 1: leftist cocoa farmer leader there Morales, threatening that voting for
- 9:56Speaker 1: him in that year's election could jeopardize US assistants of
- 10:00Speaker 1: the country. Voters capitulated Morales into prominence in the election,
- 10:05Speaker 1: positioning him to win the presidency three years later. Instead
- 10:09Speaker 1: of bearing me, Morales said at the time about Rocca
- 10:12Speaker 1: and the US, they made me much stronger. Freely, who
- 10:17Speaker 1: had known Roca for thirty years, said he parted ways
- 10:20Speaker 1: with his former mentor in Miami because he had turned
- 10:23Speaker 1: into an enthusiastic supporter of Trump. He deserves an oscar,
- 10:29Speaker 1: but he's going to get a jail cell, freely said
- 10:32Speaker 1: to maintain his cover. By the way, he went as
- 10:34Speaker 1: far as the support anti Castro legislation in the US
- 10:38Speaker 1: in twenty twenty two, Rocca also contributed seven hundred fifty
- 10:43Speaker 1: dollars to the re election effort of Cuban American Representative
- 10:46Speaker 1: Maria Salazar, a Republican from Florida.
- 10:50Speaker 2: Earlier this year, Salazar reintroduced.
- 10:53Speaker 1: The Fighting Oppression Until the Reign of Castro Ends Act,
- 10:57Speaker 1: which prevents the US from normalizing reallyations with Cuba and
- 11:01Speaker 1: less democracy is restored on the island. The bill would
- 11:04Speaker 1: also stop the US from removing Havana from the State
- 11:08Speaker 1: Sponsor of Terrorism list, a top Cuban priority, unless a
- 11:12Speaker 1: list of conditions is quote met and in late twenty
- 11:16Speaker 1: twenty two, Roca also told the undercover FBI agent that
- 11:21Speaker 1: he traveled to Havana from Panama in twenty seventeen using
- 11:26Speaker 1: a Dominican passport rather than his US passport. He told
- 11:31Speaker 1: the FBI agent he'd been spying for Cuba quote for
- 11:34Speaker 1: almost forty years. During a meeting with the undercover FBI
- 11:38Speaker 1: officer at a food court on Miami's Brickel Avenue, Roca.
- 11:43Speaker 2: Said his intelligence activities had.
- 11:45Speaker 1: Been enormous, more than a grand slam for Cuba. At
- 11:51Speaker 1: another meeting, the undercover FBI officer questioned as little to
- 11:55Speaker 1: the Cuban regime. Roga responded angrily, all of this caught
- 11:59Speaker 1: on video, saying, quote, it's like questioning my manhood. It's
- 12:03Speaker 1: like you want me to drop them and show that
- 12:05Speaker 1: I still have testic goals. The complaint didn't specify the
- 12:10Speaker 1: information that Roca could have supplied to Cuba's government and
- 12:14Speaker 1: to their allies, or whether he received some sort of payment.
- 12:19Speaker 1: The complaint indicated that he was mostly driven by his
- 12:21Speaker 1: sympathy for the Cuban regime. A primary interest for Cuba's
- 12:26Speaker 1: spy service has long been understanding US policy towards the
- 12:29Speaker 1: island and figuring out ways to influence it. An asset
- 12:33Speaker 1: like Roca could have provided a gold mine for that
- 12:35Speaker 1: gold counterintelligence experts are now declaring, and the State Department,
- 12:41Speaker 1: as well as the intelligence community, said they will assess
- 12:44Speaker 1: the damage inflicted to the US national security by Roca's
- 12:48Speaker 1: spy The State Department spokesman said, quote, it's been over
- 12:51Speaker 1: twenty years since he left the State Department. At a
- 12:55Speaker 1: court hearing in Miami, Roka, dressed in a tan jumpsuit,
- 12:59Speaker 1: cried and then looked for Lorne, watching his family as
- 13:03Speaker 1: they left the chamber.
- 13:05Speaker 2: He didn't enter a plea.
- 13:06Speaker 1: More charges are more likely than ever to be filed,
- 13:09Speaker 1: a prosecutor said. A detention hearing is set for Wednesday,
- 13:14Speaker 1: but could be moved. So what does this actually mean.
- 13:17Speaker 1: It means that we had a guy that was spying
- 13:20Speaker 1: on this country for literally forty years, giving intel to Cuba,
- 13:25Speaker 1: who could have easily been giving that intel to China
- 13:29Speaker 1: and to Russia and to many other communist countries.
- 13:32Speaker 2: That's number one.
- 13:34Speaker 1: Number two, this goes back to the biggest problem that
- 13:37Speaker 1: I have now with our clandestine services, with our intelligence community,
- 13:42Speaker 1: with our FBI, with our DOJ and honestly, the list
- 13:45Speaker 1: really does go on and on, and my problem is
- 13:49Speaker 1: specifically this what we have now is we have and
- 13:54Speaker 1: we live right now in a time where our US
- 13:58Speaker 1: government is actually not focused on the most important things
- 14:02Speaker 1: that I'm describing right now, and that is actually catching
- 14:06Speaker 1: the people that are doing harm to this country. Because
- 14:09Speaker 1: instead they're focusing on hunting down grandmothers who were around
- 14:13Speaker 1: the lawn on January sixth of the Capitol. They're obsessed
- 14:16Speaker 1: with parents to go to school board meetings and refer
- 14:18Speaker 1: to them as domestic terrorists. They're obsessed with changing this
- 14:22Speaker 1: country and bringing in people that are that love socialism
- 14:26Speaker 1: and communism, and eight million people across the southern border.
- 14:30Speaker 1: Since Joe Biden has been president, we have not even
- 14:33Speaker 1: impeached a man that's keeping our borders open. In my
- 14:36Speaker 1: orcis why because they're again the deep state is obsessed
- 14:41Speaker 1: with protecting Hunter Biden, who you could also argue at
- 14:45Speaker 1: this point was basically a spy for Ukraine, for Russian
- 14:49Speaker 1: oligarchs and for the Chinese. They were doing a pay
- 14:53Speaker 1: to play scheme where if you wanted a favor from
- 14:56Speaker 1: the US government or United information or help from the Bidens,
- 15:00Speaker 1: you just had to pay millions of dollars to the
- 15:03Speaker 1: Biden crime family to get what you needed from our
- 15:06Speaker 1: US government.
- 15:07Speaker 2: Let all that sink in, and every time you think.
- 15:12Speaker 1: About the damage that has been done here to this
- 15:15Speaker 1: country and to our interests in the last forty years
- 15:18Speaker 1: because of this spy.
- 15:20Speaker 2: Just remember that during this entire time.
- 15:23Speaker 1: They were more concerned about woke propaganda, woke agenda items
- 15:29Speaker 1: in the deep state, worried about you know, women's and
- 15:32Speaker 1: men's bathrooms changing, or putting parents in jail and putting
- 15:37Speaker 1: them on terrists watch lists. They also and I forgot this,
- 15:41Speaker 1: and I just want to remind you this is all
- 15:42Speaker 1: under the Biden administration.
- 15:45Speaker 2: Remember this too.
- 15:47Speaker 1: This administration went to traditional Catholics and went to them
- 15:54Speaker 1: and tried to get them to spy on their own
- 15:57Speaker 1: parishioners and referred to them as dreams. That is what
- 16:01Speaker 1: the Biden administration has actually been working on. Okay, that's
- 16:07Speaker 1: what the Biden administration has has literally been working on
- 16:11Speaker 1: right now, instead of focusing on real issues like what
- 16:16Speaker 1: I just described to you. All right, let me tell
- 16:20Speaker 1: you real quick about an amazing company called Patriot Mobile.

- 17:43Speaker 1: com slash ferguson or nine seven to two Patriot. There
- 17:49Speaker 1: has been a lot of chatter recently about moving forward
- 17:53Speaker 1: with impeachment. When would it happen? Will it happen? Would
- 17:56Speaker 1: the Republicans? What's out impeachment in this impeachment inquiry? I
- 18:02Speaker 1: am in Washington, d C. Right now and what I
- 18:04Speaker 1: can tell you after talking with several members of the House,
- 18:10Speaker 1: there is now a plan. Mike Johnson, Speak of the House,
- 18:14Speaker 1: said quote, the House will vote next week on formalizing
- 18:18Speaker 1: Joe biden impeachment inquiry. Let me give you the details
- 18:24Speaker 1: of what I was told about this again from members
- 18:27Speaker 1: of the House. The House will officially vote the week
- 18:31Speaker 1: of December the tenth on formalizing the impeachment inquiry and
- 18:35Speaker 1: to President Joe Biden to strengthen subpoena power over the
- 18:40Speaker 1: stonewalling of the Biden administration. House Speaker Mike Johnson stated
- 18:45Speaker 1: during a press conference the vote will be a big test,
- 18:51Speaker 1: to be clear, for House Republicans. Why because they hold
- 18:54Speaker 1: a very slight majority, as you may know over the
- 18:58Speaker 1: House Democrats. The measure will need nearly all Republican support.
- 19:05Speaker 1: This is part of the reason why this has taken
- 19:08Speaker 1: so long, because if you.
- 19:09Speaker 2: Don't have the votes, you don't want to bring it
- 19:13Speaker 2: to a vote.
- 19:14Speaker 1: It would be a massive defeat for Republicans and a
- 19:17Speaker 1: huge victory for the Democrats, specifically for Joe Biden. Now,
- 19:24Speaker 1: Representative Kevin McCarthy as to go back and just remind
- 19:28Speaker 1: you of how we got to where we are. He
- 19:30Speaker 1: opened the impeachment inquiry on September twelfth. Lawmakers did not,
- 19:36Speaker 1: let me say this again, did not vote to approve
- 19:40Speaker 1: the measure. If the impeachment inquiry receives the majority support
- 19:46Speaker 1: on the House floor, the inquiry will be formally adopted.
- 19:51Speaker 1: That is a status that the Speaker Johnson says will
- 19:55Speaker 1: help the Houses inquiry obtain information blocked by the war Now.
- 20:01Speaker 1: Speaker Johnson is in a tough situation right now, and
- 20:04Speaker 1: I like to just be honest about my expectations. Speaker
- 20:08Speaker 1: Johnson is trying to corral some moderate Republicans to do
- 20:13Speaker 1: the right thing here. You have to understand just how
- 20:16Speaker 1: weak some of these Republicans actually are.
- 20:20Speaker 2: Look no further than the.
- 20:22Speaker 1: Expulsion last week of a Congressman from New York. They
- 20:29Speaker 1: have not, just to put in perspective, expelled a Senator
- 20:34Speaker 1: Menindez who had gold bars sewn into his jackets, and
- 20:41Speaker 1: they busted him being bribed by foreign countries.
- 20:46Speaker 2: That guy is still in the Senate.
- 20:49Speaker 1: So just put that into perspective of how hard it
- 20:53Speaker 1: is to deal with some of these Republicans. I'll even
- 20:56Speaker 1: go a step further the House, and it is unconscionable,
- 21:01Speaker 1: I would argue at this point has not impeached, and
- 21:05Speaker 1: they have grounds, serious grounds to impeach my Orcis. My
- 21:10Speaker 1: Orcus's job is to protect us at our borders. He
- 21:15Speaker 1: is a guy that is clearly not doing his job
- 21:19Speaker 1: and also more importantly not even applying the laws that
- 21:23Speaker 1: we have on the books now to protecting this country.
- 21:27Speaker 1: My Orciss, there there is overwhelming easy grounds.
- 21:32Speaker 2: For impeachment of him.
- 21:35Speaker 1: And Republicans are the ones that are I'm trying to
- 21:42Speaker 1: use my words carefully here woosing out. They are wossing
- 21:47Speaker 1: out on getting rid of my Orcus, who has lied
- 21:51Speaker 1: to Congress, who has said countless times that our southern
- 21:55Speaker 1: border is secure, when eight million ears legal immigrants have
- 22:01Speaker 1: come across, to be very clear, have come across the
- 22:05Speaker 1: southern border under the Biden administration. There is there are
- 22:10Speaker 1: multiple times that my Orcis has lied to Congress, and
- 22:14Speaker 1: he has the laws on the books that he needs
- 22:16Speaker 1: right now to protect this country. He is not doing
- 22:20Speaker 1: his job and his sworn duty. You could easily impeach
- 22:24Speaker 1: my Orchis based on him based on the numbers of
- 22:28Speaker 1: illegal immigrants, the wide open border, and having and ordering
- 22:33Speaker 1: border patrol to actually cut through barriers to allow more
- 22:37Speaker 1: legal immigrants into this country. This is administration that actually
- 22:42Speaker 1: sues the State of Texas to cut down some of
- 22:44Speaker 1: the barriers that they are breaching, basically their authority, going
- 22:52Speaker 1: above and beyond their authority that is supposed to be
- 22:54Speaker 1: on the federal government to protect the United States of America.
- 22:57Speaker 1: They'll sue them, but they won't stop the immigrants coming
- 23:01Speaker 1: to this country. There's also a national security aspect to
- 23:05Speaker 1: my orcis as well. There have been countless people that
- 23:10Speaker 1: have been caught by border patrol who are on the
- 23:13Speaker 1: Terrace watch list. What has he said, Oh, no, big deal,
- 23:17Speaker 1: don't worry about it. We've got a secure border. Everything's fine.
- 23:22Speaker 1: So if the Republicans, and the reason why I'm telling
- 23:26Speaker 1: you about my orcis reminding you my Orcus's impeachment is
- 23:29Speaker 1: like the simplest case, have eight million people come across
- 23:33Speaker 1: the border.
- 23:33Speaker 2: Yes, did you lie about the border? Yes?
- 23:35Speaker 1: Did you lie and say the border is secure countless
- 23:37Speaker 1: times of Congress. Yes, have you lied about the number
- 23:40Speaker 1: of domestic tear Are foreign terrorists coming across the border?
- 23:42Speaker 2: Yes?
- 23:43Speaker 1: Have you lied about the fetnol that's coming across the border. Yes,
- 23:46Speaker 1: Like there are multiple reasons to impeach my orcists, and
- 23:51Speaker 1: they should be able to do it.
- 23:52Speaker 2: This shouldn't be hard, and yet.
- 23:56Speaker 1: The Republicans have not had the vote to even deal
- 24:01Speaker 1: with that. So when you look at it from that perspective,
- 24:06Speaker 1: you can't get rid of a Senator Bob Menendez who
- 24:10Speaker 1: they find gold bars sewn into his soup pockets in
- 24:13Speaker 1: his house.
- 24:13Speaker 2: The pictures are out there. Everybody knows that he did this.
- 24:17Speaker 1: The evidence is damning and overwhelming, and they can't get
- 24:20Speaker 1: rid of him. And then you have my orchists and
- 24:26Speaker 1: lying about the border and eight million people flooding across
- 24:29Speaker 1: the southern border, and you can't get rid of him.
- 24:31Speaker 1: You understand why I have concerns and the reason why
- 24:35Speaker 1: Kevin McCarthy on September the twelfth did not vote to
- 24:38Speaker 1: approve this measure. Now they need to vote to approve
- 24:41Speaker 1: this measure. But again quote Johnson said yesterday, the House
- 24:45Speaker 1: has no chance if it's going to follow its constitutional
- 24:48Speaker 1: responsibility to formally adopt an impeachment inquiry on the floor
- 24:53Speaker 1: so that when the subpoenas are challenged in court, we
- 24:58Speaker 1: will not be at the apex of our constitutional authority.
- 25:02Speaker 1: So that is the argument that he's giving the members
- 25:05Speaker 1: the House.
- 25:05Speaker 2: We need to have the.
- 25:09Speaker 1: Ability the authority, and it's our responsibility to formally adopt
- 25:14Speaker 1: the impeachment inquiry so that we have the power of
- 25:16Speaker 1: subpoenas the way that we need them. Johnson said, Republican,
- 25:20Speaker 1: the Republican majority should hold strong to formalize the inquiry
- 25:25Speaker 1: because it is a legal decision, not a political one.
- 25:30Speaker 1: The way that he's framing this, I love the way
- 25:33Speaker 1: he's framing it. He's explaining the legal side of this
- 25:37Speaker 1: and why legally this is the right thing to do. Finally,
- 25:42Speaker 1: he says, quote, all the moderates in our conference understand
- 25:45Speaker 1: this is not a political decision.
- 25:48Speaker 2: That's what he said to reporters. This is a legal decision.
- 25:53Speaker 1: This is a constitutional decision, and whether someone is for
- 25:58Speaker 1: or against impeachment is of no importance right now. He
- 26:05Speaker 1: finally said, we have to continue our legal responsibility, and
- 26:09Speaker 1: that is solely what this vote is about. So the
- 26:13Speaker 1: preparation for this vote is incredibly important. The way that
- 26:18Speaker 1: he's laying this out, saying, look, you're not voting in
- 26:21Speaker 1: favor of impeaching him.
- 26:22Speaker 2: That's not what this vote is.
- 26:23Speaker 1: This is about the legal authority, and that's what we're
- 26:26Speaker 1: dealing with here. This is all about the legal authority now.
- 26:30Speaker 1: In preparation for the vote, we also know this. The
- 26:33Speaker 1: House Judiciary Weighs and Means and Oversight committees jointly released
- 26:37Speaker 1: a interim seventy eight page staff report yesterday in the
- 26:42Speaker 1: evening about the Justice Department's deviations in the five year
- 26:47Speaker 1: investigation to Hunter Biden.
- 26:48Speaker 2: This thing is long.
- 26:49Speaker 1: It's seventy eight pages describing political interference clearly in this probe.
- 26:56Speaker 2: It's I mean, it's significant.
- 26:59Speaker 1: Somehow, It's republic Wilkins also believe the Biden administration's alleged
- 27:02Speaker 1: political interference in the probe is a key point for
- 27:06Speaker 1: lawmakers to consider before the formalizing impeachment inquiry vote in
- 27:11Speaker 1: preparation for potentially pursuing articles of impeachment against President Biden.
- 27:16Speaker 1: The House, as you know, launched its investigation into Joe
- 27:20Speaker 1: Biden November of twenty twenty one. They uncovered significant evidence
- 27:24Speaker 1: against him of direct payments now going into the Biden
- 27:30Speaker 1: bank account. I'm talking about the president's bank account, President
- 27:33Speaker 1: Joe Biden's bank account from shady payments coming from China,
- 27:39Speaker 1: Ukraine and Romania which they said never happened, and guess
- 27:42Speaker 1: what it did. Please share this podcast with your family
