- 1:24Speaker 4: Gotta turn.
- 1:31Speaker 6: I got to turn the mouth turn. You probably got
- 1:44Speaker 6: to turn the mouth. The water the money up.
- 1:55Speaker 1: Come on, come on your.
- 2:01Speaker 2: Uh huh, I sure will.
- 2:03Speaker 7: Good morning everybody, y'all listening to the voice, come on
- 2:07Speaker 7: dig me now, one and only Steve Harvey got a
- 2:10Speaker 7: radio show. Okay, okay, here's what I want to share
- 2:20Speaker 7: with you. Stop complaining. So I had to let you
- 2:29Speaker 7: see how I let that one sit for a second.
- 2:33Speaker 7: Stop complaining. Do you realize without us even thinking about it,
- 2:43Speaker 7: oftentimes we just complain about stuff and it comes up
- 2:51Speaker 7: in such subtle forms. Man, I don't know why they're
- 2:55Speaker 7: still letting that lady work there. Man, if they don't
- 2:57Speaker 7: fire this woman, man, I don't know what I'm gonna do.
- 2:59Speaker 7: She drive me crazy. She always got something to say.
- 3:08Speaker 7: I bet today, though, the way I'm feeling right now,
- 3:10Speaker 7: I bet she better not say nothing to me today.
- 3:14Speaker 7: M h yeah, yeah, because day it today it I'm
- 3:19Speaker 7: sick of her running in her mouth. Last time she
- 3:23Speaker 7: said something to me, I should have said something to it.
- 3:26Speaker 7: You know what I'm saying. I'm just giving you a
- 3:28Speaker 7: small example of how it starts to snowball. Once you
- 3:34Speaker 7: start to complain. It's it just carries over into so
- 3:39Speaker 7: many things. Man, Stop complaining about your car, Stop complaining
- 3:43Speaker 7: about your bus pass, Stop complaining about your kids can't
- 3:47Speaker 7: seem to get it together. Stop complaining about your man
- 3:51Speaker 7: can't seem to get it together. Stop complaining. Stop Have
- 3:57Speaker 7: you noticed? I'm just asking, have you noticed that in
- 4:01Speaker 7: all of your complaining, it has provided not one solution.
- 4:08Speaker 7: The reason I'm telling you to stop complaining because God
- 4:13Speaker 7: is able. Because God is capable. He is capable and
- 4:20Speaker 7: able of fixing anything, capable and able of curing anything,
- 4:29Speaker 7: capable and able of allowing you to get to adjusting
- 4:34Speaker 7: to things, and capable and able to strengthen you to
- 4:42Speaker 7: get through and change anything. But the key here is
- 4:48Speaker 7: God is capable, and God is able. A lot of
- 4:52Speaker 7: times I find myself complaining because I have not used
- 4:57Speaker 7: my greatest asset, and that's my relationship with God.
- 5:01Speaker 1: You all have one.
- 5:03Speaker 4: Now.
- 5:03Speaker 7: You may not have nurtured it, but you have one
- 5:06Speaker 7: because God created you as his child, He's available to you.
- 5:10Speaker 4: Now.
- 5:10Speaker 7: The fact that you ain't went to him. Okay, once again,
- 5:14Speaker 7: who fought as that? Stop complaining until you strengthen your
- 5:21Speaker 7: relationship with God and formulate this relationship. You don't have
- 5:27Speaker 7: enough weapons. You ain't got a big enough shield to
- 5:32Speaker 7: fight this thing called life. It just keeps coming. Man,
- 5:37Speaker 7: And unless you develop a relationship with God, you need
- 5:40Speaker 7: a partner in all of this. Maybe you got another
- 5:43Speaker 7: route you're gonna take. But every successful person I know
- 5:50Speaker 7: personally has a relationship with God. I have some really
- 5:58Speaker 7: really some people that's kind of up there in the
- 6:01Speaker 7: success term in terms of business and money and statute.
- 6:06Speaker 7: I'm just talking about that portion of success. And then
- 6:09Speaker 7: I have a lot of people who are very successful
- 6:12Speaker 7: in their spiritual life, who have become great men of
- 6:16Speaker 7: God and women of God. But look at all of them,
- 6:21Speaker 7: and all of them have substantial amounts of you know,
- 6:27Speaker 7: possessions and things like that. Also, most successful people I
- 6:31Speaker 7: know have that even if you saw them never with
- 6:36Speaker 7: a big lot of house and a lot of money
- 6:38Speaker 7: or stuff like that, they had so much respect, so
- 6:42Speaker 7: much love, so much power was given them from people
- 6:49Speaker 7: that their life was rich in that area, you know,
- 6:54Speaker 7: like Ahmaan Luther King or something like that, or Gandhi
- 6:57Speaker 7: or somebody who lived their life in service or a
- 7:00Speaker 7: Nelson Mandela who came out and just man, people put
- 7:04Speaker 7: stuff at their.
- 7:04Speaker 2: Feet because of their service.
- 7:06Speaker 7: So all successful people I know have that, Every last
- 7:09Speaker 7: one of these people that I know, they have relationship
- 7:12Speaker 7: with God. They use the tool that was available to
- 7:17Speaker 7: them to give them the strength, the bullets, the arrows,
- 7:22Speaker 7: the slings, the shield to fight this thing called life
- 7:25Speaker 7: and have the most valuable partner right there by the
- 7:28Speaker 7: side they Heavenly Father God, because he will help you
- 7:31Speaker 7: get through this thing called life. Man, stop complaining all
- 7:34Speaker 7: the time. It's not fixing anything. Why don't you do
- 7:37Speaker 7: yourself a favor and strengthen your relationship with God?
- 7:40Speaker 2: Man?
- 7:41Speaker 7: Why can I never get over? Well you have not
- 7:44Speaker 7: because you asked not. Man, how come I always got problems? Well,
- 7:47Speaker 7: you keep trying to solve them yourself and taking them
- 7:49Speaker 7: to your friends. You keep trying to do them with
- 7:52Speaker 7: your own thought process.
- 7:53Speaker 2: Who are you? I keep telling you?
- 7:55Speaker 4: Man?
- 7:56Speaker 7: You going through stuff you ain't got no business going through.
- 8:01Speaker 7: And if it's you going through something over and over
- 8:03Speaker 7: and over and over, and the same problem keep coming
- 8:06Speaker 7: back to bite you again. All that's saying is you
- 8:10Speaker 7: still ain't strengthen your relationship with God. He's your relationship.
- 8:14Speaker 7: He's not gonna make you have one with him. He
- 8:17Speaker 7: is a perfect gentleman. He only comes into your life
- 8:20Speaker 7: when you invite a men. But for those who do
- 8:25Speaker 7: invite men, they have a distinct advantage on their road
- 8:29Speaker 7: to success, a distinct advantage.
- 8:33Speaker 2: You can do it without him, Trust me, you can.
- 8:36Speaker 2: How far you get.
- 8:37Speaker 7: I can't promise you nothing, how well you handle it
- 8:40Speaker 7: when you arrived there, I can't promise you nothing, how
- 8:44Speaker 7: long you gonna stay there, I can't promise you nothing.
- 8:48Speaker 7: How difficult it is going to be without him. I
- 8:51Speaker 7: can't give you that. It's going to be far more difficult.
- 8:55Speaker 4: But you can.
- 8:55Speaker 7: Something can happen, and you, you know, receive a measure
- 8:59Speaker 7: of success. And you think because you and this move
- 9:01Speaker 7: you made, and you can describe it as I got lucky.
- 9:04Speaker 7: I happen to be in the right place at the
- 9:06Speaker 7: right time. I got lucky. Lucky is usually how other
- 9:11Speaker 7: people describe other people's success. Boy, he was lucky, he
- 9:15Speaker 7: was right there. Well, let me tell you what lucky is.
- 9:17Speaker 7: Lucky is when hard work bumps up into opportunity. If
- 9:21Speaker 7: you've been working hard as something, the opportunity presents itself
- 9:24Speaker 7: that comes a match.
- 9:26Speaker 2: That's not luck.
- 9:28Speaker 7: But now, if you haven't done that on a repetitive
- 9:31Speaker 7: enough basis, that opportunity could present itself one time. You
- 9:37Speaker 7: got to reconnect. Stop complaining, man, come on, listen to me.
- 9:41Speaker 7: Stop complaining. It hasn't fixed a single thing in your life.
- 9:44Speaker 7: And if you're a chronic complainer, it's because you really
- 9:47Speaker 7: really have not fixed your relationship with God. He'll move
- 9:50Speaker 7: it out for you. That I can tell you for
- 9:52Speaker 7: a fact. I know that for a fact he's mooved
- 9:55Speaker 7: mine out. All right, let's go.
- 9:59Speaker 1: Morning Show.

- 14:43Speaker 10: Hello, It is Ryan.
- 14:44Speaker 4: Hi, right, I'm trying to Ryan, Ryan. How you doing.
- 14:47Speaker 10: Hey, I'm good.
- 14:48Speaker 4: I'm thinking. This is Josh, Josh over at me. I'm
- 14:51Speaker 4: gonna be officials at the church where you guys are
- 14:54Speaker 4: getting married tomorrow. Yeah, yeah, how you doing? Man?
- 14:57Speaker 10: I want to thank you all for that too, man.
- 14:58Speaker 10: We will appreciate it sure here.
- 15:00Speaker 4: Well, we definitely hope to make you a member here
- 15:02Speaker 4: sooner or later, since you guys are getting married.
- 15:04Speaker 10: You know, hey, man, you know I'm trying to get
- 15:06Speaker 10: this work schedule changed up. You know what I'm saying.
- 15:08Speaker 10: They got me working on Sundays now, man, so as
- 15:11Speaker 10: soon as I tweak at a mood at around a
- 15:13Speaker 10: little bit, I'll be there.
- 15:14Speaker 4: Okay, listen, we have a bit of a situation that's
- 15:17Speaker 4: come up. We had some problems and miscommunication and it's
- 15:21Speaker 4: definitely been on the outside. They had your name Ryan
- 15:24Speaker 4: down here with your phone number as well as your
- 15:27Speaker 4: as soon to be wife Sonya. They had her name here,
- 15:29Speaker 4: but we didn't want to call her with if we
- 15:31Speaker 4: wanted to just reach out and talk to you and
- 15:34Speaker 4: see if it just make you aware of what was
- 15:36Speaker 4: going on. Okay, what's going on? Man? There's been a
- 15:39Speaker 4: mix up on on scheduling. I don't know if you
- 15:41Speaker 4: know since the Olda make she passed away a week
- 15:44Speaker 4: ago and you're not you're not a member of the church,
- 15:47Speaker 4: so you wouldn't know her. But she's one of the
- 15:49Speaker 4: one of the oldest members here at the church. Just
- 15:51Speaker 4: the olda may passed away. And what's going on? Is
- 15:55Speaker 4: you all's wedding is tomorrow at twelve o'clock, right, but
- 16:00Speaker 4: the actual funeral is at three o'clock here at the church. Okay, uh.
- 16:07Speaker 10: Began, Brother Josh, Josh, Okay, look here, brother Josh, hey man,
- 16:12Speaker 10: we we we already got this thing in motion. Man,
- 16:15Speaker 10: we didn't stand out. They have med two hundred invitations. Man,
- 16:18Speaker 10: I mean blessed us so.
- 16:21Speaker 4: And and and I understand that, but but but I mean,
- 16:24Speaker 4: you know she's there's no way we could have moved
- 16:26Speaker 4: it around down. The biggest problem the funeral home is
- 16:29Speaker 4: bringing the casket first thing in the morning. What I
- 16:32Speaker 4: wanted to make you aware of. And I didn't want
- 16:34Speaker 4: you to tell your wife just but the actual casket
- 16:36Speaker 4: will be in the Saints Aiar, but we will have it.
- 16:40Speaker 10: Hold on, man, are you serious?
- 16:42Speaker 4: Now? Look here, Hey, y'alln't need to move this round.
- 16:44Speaker 10: I don't know what y'all gonna do. Y'all have a
- 16:46Speaker 10: fellows appaul in the back or something like that.
- 16:50Speaker 4: Ryan. The only place we can actually put the casket,
- 16:53Speaker 4: and if we didn't put it there is in the
- 16:54Speaker 4: actual room that you'll you'll soon to be wife would
- 16:57Speaker 4: be changing. That's the only place.
- 16:59Speaker 10: I man, you got my wife could have changed, no
- 17:02Speaker 10: room with no dead body.
- 17:03Speaker 4: But you can't even what and you know what, I
- 17:06Speaker 4: understood that that's the first thing I thought of. But
- 17:08Speaker 4: I thought, I said, just put the cask and the
- 17:10Speaker 4: way it goes for the funeral and we're gonna cover
- 17:13Speaker 4: it up. And see basically you actually get.
- 17:15Speaker 10: In Wow, I can't even believe you call it with
- 17:19Speaker 10: this man. Look at and excuse my french man. Yeah,
- 17:22Speaker 10: I know I need to get back into church, I
- 17:24Speaker 10: really do.
- 17:24Speaker 4: But right now, Doug, this ain't going.
- 17:26Speaker 10: Down like this man. Now, we didn't already pay the money.
- 17:30Speaker 4: First of all, First.
- 17:31Speaker 10: Of all, you know she should have.
- 17:33Speaker 4: I don't even feel like she may to pay.
- 17:35Speaker 10: You know, to to hold no wedding over at hug
- 17:37Speaker 10: Her where she paid times at. That's that's the first thing.
- 17:40Speaker 4: You know.
- 17:41Speaker 10: I ain't like that from the jumping, but I wouldn't
- 17:42Speaker 10: head when win it because she want her pastor to
- 17:45Speaker 10: marry us. And now you got the nerve to tell
- 17:47Speaker 10: me that, y'all we arrange something. That funeral gonna happen
- 17:50Speaker 10: the same day as my wedding, and my wife got
- 17:52Speaker 10: to get dressed in the room with a dead body.
- 17:54Speaker 4: Well, we're not gonna put her in that, bro Like
- 17:57Speaker 4: I said, I'm putting that body first thing in the morning.
- 17:59Speaker 4: I'm gonna with that body and right there in front
- 18:02Speaker 4: of the full pit, and we're gonna cover it. Now,
- 18:05Speaker 4: what you're getting out of is you get more flowers
- 18:08Speaker 4: because there's gonna be flowers from the funeral. So I'm
- 18:11Speaker 4: thinking that's probably gonna be a little bit of a perk.
- 18:13Speaker 4: But I just wanted you to be aware that it's
- 18:15Speaker 4: probably gonna be more people than you think, because some
- 18:18Speaker 4: of the people that's gonna be at their wedding it's
- 18:20Speaker 4: really for the funeral.
- 18:21Speaker 10: A hold on, man, are you serious righting? I mean,
- 18:25Speaker 10: look here, doctor, I done paid for this wedding to
- 18:28Speaker 10: happen at this church, man, okay, And no disrespect to
- 18:31Speaker 10: the lady that is past. God bless her family. I
- 18:34Speaker 10: ain't planning to not putting no dead body, having no
- 18:38Speaker 10: funerals at my wedding. Man, that's crazy.
- 18:41Speaker 4: I'm gonna come down there church too, sir. She's a
- 18:44Speaker 4: member of the church too.
- 18:45Speaker 10: I don't give it. I don't being no member of
- 18:47Speaker 10: the church.
- 18:47Speaker 4: Man.
- 18:48Speaker 10: I done paid for this wedding and it's gonna happen tomorrow. Man,
- 18:51Speaker 10: you are fixing and putting no dead body at my wedding.
- 18:59Speaker 4: To rhyme right, I mean, no distance. But the woman
- 19:02Speaker 4: has passed. She is not gonna get up.
- 19:05Speaker 10: I mean, what what is the problem The problem is
- 19:07Speaker 10: YO calls me with this man's day before my wedding,
- 19:10Speaker 10: we didn't schedule, and then six months ago I gotta
- 19:12Speaker 10: send twenty five thirty thousand dollars on this wig, okay.
- 19:15Speaker 4: And I just gonna tell me that we got to share.
- 19:17Speaker 10: I will win with a funeral. But the hell is
- 19:19Speaker 10: one with you, man, because.
- 19:20Speaker 4: Then as something, do you want to have your wedding
- 19:23Speaker 4: at this church?
- 19:24Speaker 10: I'll tell you what you mean wrong. I'm having a wedding, okay,
- 19:27Speaker 10: I tell you what't it about to be?
- 19:29Speaker 4: From the marrow.
- 19:29Speaker 10: I roll in the right up of the street planning,
- 19:31Speaker 10: y'all just stay got say in the front and and
- 19:33Speaker 10: and throw for hours like throwing rice. But we're gonna
- 19:36Speaker 10: have a wedding inside that Saint Jay tomorrow.
- 19:39Speaker 4: I promise you that, sir. I can't. I can not
- 19:41Speaker 4: assure you that it won't be. I have no other
- 19:44Speaker 4: place to.
- 19:44Speaker 10: Put the body, Okay, Well, I'll bet you'll find somewhere
- 19:46Speaker 10: to put it. If I get that a mark, it's
- 19:49Speaker 10: a body in there. There's gonna be a couple of
- 19:50Speaker 10: bodies in there. And Nam, you got two choices to
- 19:53Speaker 10: move in funeral or to remburse me back this thirty
- 19:56Speaker 10: thousand dollars out of how to spend those only two choices.
- 19:58Speaker 10: I want to hear about it me at the front
- 20:00Speaker 10: door to night with a thirty thousand dollars cashier check.
- 20:03Speaker 10: Or we said to have his wedding up in there
- 20:05Speaker 10: tomorrow morning.
- 20:05Speaker 4: You heard me. I ain't playing.
- 20:07Speaker 10: I ain't playing at all.
- 20:09Speaker 4: No joke.
- 20:09Speaker 10: What's wrong with child?
- 20:11Speaker 4: Man? You can do something else, man, I understand that.
- 20:14Speaker 4: I don't want to know from you. Man.
- 20:16Speaker 10: All I'm saying is it's going to be a wedding
- 20:19Speaker 10: at this church tomorrow without saying say everybody. That's all
- 20:22Speaker 10: I'm saying.
- 20:22Speaker 4: To push it to the band. Man, there's there's one
- 20:25Speaker 4: more bit of an issue that I need to tell you.
- 20:27Speaker 10: Also, What can be worse than a dead body? What
- 20:30Speaker 10: issue can be worse than dead body at my wedding?
- 20:33Speaker 4: Man? The issue here that is worse than the dead
- 20:35Speaker 4: body is this is Nexhew tim And from the Steve

- 22:17Speaker 13: thinks he's a player, and I want him out of
- 22:20Speaker 13: my house. There are women that look like they are
- 22:23Speaker 13: my age coming by here to see him, bring him food,
- 22:26Speaker 13: pick him up, and give him money. If he's old
- 22:28Speaker 13: enough to do all of that, he's old enough to
- 22:30Speaker 13: get out. Am I wrong for wanting Casanova to go?
- 22:34Speaker 8: Get his behind out that house? You ain't wrong at all.
- 22:36Speaker 8: You got people over there you went to school with
- 22:38Speaker 8: looking at you. I understand. Get his little butt out

- 22:43Speaker 8: be Castano on your own dollar, up underneath your own shelter,
- 22:46Speaker 8: your own roof. If you play a playoff from the him, malayo,
- 22:49Speaker 8: what you say? What you think you are? You're really
- 22:52Speaker 8: not a player, but you think you are. If you
- 22:54Speaker 8: need to do this on your own roof, I can't
- 22:56Speaker 8: stand that. Over at his mama house. Over at his
- 22:59Speaker 8: mama house, got the baddest call on the street. Parked
- 23:02Speaker 8: up well at his mama how and his mama garage,
- 23:05Speaker 8: His mama again in gas money. If the mama doing this, no,

- 24:39Speaker 13: food orders too. How do I fire him and still
- 24:42Speaker 13: date him?
- 24:43Speaker 4: Hold?

- 26:05Speaker 13: boyfriend and his wife stopped by to visit when they

- 26:11Speaker 13: still hates that I'm friends with the man that I
- 26:13Speaker 13: used to sleep with.
- 26:15Speaker 1: That was over thirty years ago. So why is it
- 26:17Speaker 1: still such a problem.
- 26:19Speaker 8: That's kind of awkward. Now that's that's awkward. Yeah, that's awkward.
- 26:24Speaker 8: Now here, what is this friendship for? What is this

- 27:39Speaker 9: can't come in his dough that's all I know.
- 27:41Speaker 12: Now, you can't. You can't come in here.
- 27:43Speaker 9: That's it.
- 27:44Speaker 12: Ain't nowhere in the world.
- 27:46Speaker 4: Y'all know me.
- 27:46Speaker 9: If I walk in the house and I see his
- 27:48Speaker 9: ass on my couch and I paid hold on, hey, hey,
- 27:53Speaker 9: come on now, Okay.
- 27:55Speaker 12: That's a right.

- 28:27Speaker 8: something spoken, Okay, some things you hold well.
- 28:32Speaker 11: I mean she needs to look at it the other
- 28:34Speaker 11: way around.
- 28:34Speaker 3: When she wants her husband to bring his ex girlfriend
- 28:37Speaker 3: up in the house, she ain't gonna like that either.
- 28:40Speaker 2: Let me take you something.
- 28:41Speaker 12: Let me take something.
- 28:42Speaker 2: When I die, get to heaven, I still ain't fooling

- 28:59Speaker 13: His parents get him the house and it's paid off,
- 29:01Speaker 13: but it needs repairs.
- 29:02Speaker 1: Do I pay for the.
- 29:03Speaker 13: Repairs so I can be comfortable in the house or
- 29:06Speaker 13: do I move out and let him worry about fixing
- 29:08Speaker 13: it up?
- 29:09Speaker 1: Good questions.
- 29:10Speaker 2: He got to do some work around now.
- 29:12Speaker 8: Now you got a free house, you got to you
- 29:15Speaker 8: got to step up, pardon and put some work in
- 29:17Speaker 8: and get to work. Get the job done so that
- 29:18Speaker 8: your lady can be comfortable in the house. It's up
- 29:20Speaker 8: to this man. This man, you can't be no, you
- 29:23Speaker 8: don't put no money up and if you want to
- 29:25Speaker 8: move out until you get it right, do that.
- 29:26Speaker 2: But he got to get he got to get the
- 29:27Speaker 2: work around there. Man up.
- 29:29Speaker 9: Babies, Yeah, yeah, man, How does sound Tayler when you're
- 29:32Speaker 9: gonna paint these walls in him?
- 29:36Speaker 12: Keler, when you're gonna fix that time in that bathroom
- 29:38Speaker 12: tied of tripping on that stuff on him?
- 29:39Speaker 2: What that sound like?
- 29:42Speaker 10: Right?
- 29:42Speaker 1: All right, Thanks guys, Riddal and Junior, thank you.
- 29:46Speaker 13: Coming up at the top of the hour, we're gonna
- 29:48Speaker 13: tell you about the Tobacco Free Kids Campaign with our
- 29:51Speaker 13: very special guest, Yolanda Richardson.
- 29:54Speaker 1: Right after this, you're listening Morning show.
- 30:00Speaker 2: All right, we got a special guest this morning.
- 30:02Speaker 8: Our special guest is the president and CEO of the
- 30:05Speaker 8: Campaign for Tobacco Free Kids, which is a leading advocacy
- 30:09Speaker 8: organization that is working to reduce tobacco use and its
- 30:12Speaker 8: deadly consequences. The marketing of tobacco products in the black
- 30:15Speaker 8: community has been widespread for decades and it has to stop.
- 30:20Speaker 8: So let's get to it and see how this organization
- 30:23Speaker 8: plans to stop it. Please, welcome to the show, the
- 30:25Speaker 8: one and only Miss Yolanda Richardson.
- 30:28Speaker 12: Welcome, Welcome, good morning, good morning, morning, good morning.
- 30:32Speaker 4: Good morning. You got that good morning energy.
- 30:34Speaker 14: So thanks for that.
- 30:38Speaker 2: Well, thank you for being here.
- 30:39Speaker 8: Listen, you are the new president and CEO of the
- 30:41Speaker 8: Campaign for Tobacco Free Kids. So first of all, tell
- 30:45Speaker 8: us all about the organization.
- 30:47Speaker 14: Well, thank you again. Let me just thank you so
- 30:49Speaker 14: much for inviting me. I'm so happy to be here
- 30:51Speaker 14: and send this morning with you. The campaign is about
- 30:54Speaker 14: twenty seven years old. We were founded in nineteen ninety six,
- 30:58Speaker 14: and for the past seven years we've been really trying
- 31:02Speaker 14: to reduce tobacco consumption from adult among adults, but also
- 31:07Speaker 14: the present kids from ever starting to smoke. So that
- 31:10Speaker 14: work has spent twenty seven years over throughout the United States.
- 31:14Speaker 14: We've worked at the federal level, we've worked at the
- 31:16Speaker 14: state level, and we've even.
- 31:17Speaker 10: Worked at the city level.
- 31:19Speaker 14: My role at the campaign has been historically leading our
- 31:22Speaker 14: global tobacco control efforts. So in that respect, we've worked
- 31:27Speaker 14: in more than sixty countries around the world, helping government's
- 31:30Speaker 14: paths like saving policies to reduce tobacco consumption. As the
- 31:34Speaker 14: tobacco industry started to see its markets dry up in
- 31:39Speaker 14: the West and in more developed countries and moved to
- 31:42Speaker 14: other markets around the world. And so we've been really
- 31:44Speaker 14: working very vigorously not only to do the work that
- 31:47Speaker 14: we're doing here in the United States, but to do
- 31:48Speaker 14: it around the world. So just recently, I'm two weeks
- 31:52Speaker 14: minted into this new.
- 31:53Speaker 10: Position, and starting July one, i overstaid, Yeah.
- 31:58Speaker 15: Thank you so much.
- 32:00Speaker 14: I became the president.
- 32:01Speaker 10: Responsible not only for the historical global.
- 32:03Speaker 14: Work that I've been doing, but now also responsible for
- 32:06Speaker 14: the United States. And it's just my pleasure to have
- 32:08Speaker 14: the opportunity to work in the United States.
- 32:11Speaker 10: Even though the.
- 32:12Speaker 14: Book of my career has in global, I'm just delighted
- 32:14Speaker 14: to have the opportunity to do.
- 32:15Speaker 8: So let's talk about our community now menthol cigarette advertising
- 32:20Speaker 8: and the overall marketing of cigarettes in general, has you know,
- 32:24Speaker 8: been prevalent in our communities for decades. What kind of
- 32:28Speaker 8: impact has this had on our health? Because I remember
- 32:31Speaker 8: as a kid family members who smoke nothing but menthought
- 32:35Speaker 8: cigarettes over and over and over. That's all I've ever seen,
- 32:39Speaker 8: sending me to the store as a kid, go give
- 32:41Speaker 8: me a pack. It is what kind of impact has
- 32:43Speaker 8: this had on our health?
- 32:45Speaker 14: Well, you are raising the central question.
- 32:47Speaker 4: I mean they have.
- 32:48Speaker 14: They have marketed methought cigarettes in our community like you
- 32:51Speaker 14: wouldn't believe.
- 32:52Speaker 4: And you know, you couldn't go to a.
- 32:54Speaker 14: Cultural event, uh and not see my thought passages given out, free,
- 32:58Speaker 14: free samples and all of this. So it's been a
- 33:01Speaker 14: targeted effort, of predatory effort in our community to this
- 33:04Speaker 14: flood our communities with myth af cigarettes and myth ale products.
- 33:08Speaker 14: So you're absolutely right that business targeted.
- 33:10Speaker 10: This is not accidental.
- 33:12Speaker 14: The industry has seen us as a population that they
- 33:15Speaker 14: could do this, and now African Americans disproportionately are the
- 33:18Speaker 14: ones who sloke myth all cigarettes and disproportionally are the
- 33:21Speaker 14: ones who die from it. We lose forty five thousand
- 33:24Speaker 14: Black lives every year from people who sloke mythol cigarettes.
- 33:28Speaker 10: And as you said, it's generational.
- 33:30Speaker 14: It just goes way back in terms of our communities.
- 33:33Speaker 14: We all know it, we've all experienced it. I can
- 33:35Speaker 14: remember going down to the Mississippi Blues Festival and just
- 33:38Speaker 14: myth all cigarettes fan everywhere as free samples. So we
- 33:42Speaker 14: know what's happening, and the time is now to stop it.
- 33:45Speaker 14: And we have an opportunity now with the proposed rule
- 33:49Speaker 14: that the FDA has yet to release, and I want
- 33:52Speaker 14: to really emphasize the need for urgent action, and they're
- 33:55Speaker 14: releasing this rule that was effectively now for the first
- 33:58Speaker 14: time band myth af on cigarette. And so we just
- 34:01Speaker 14: as a community need to do all we can to
- 34:03Speaker 14: push the FDA to get this rule out the door
- 34:06Speaker 14: and then for them to follow up with effective methods
- 34:09Speaker 14: to make sure that they don't ever get produced again,
- 34:11Speaker 14: they never market. It's our community again.
- 34:13Speaker 8: Now, if they've banned this completely, what kind of effect
- 34:16Speaker 8: do you think it'll have.
- 34:17Speaker 2: On health equity?
- 34:18Speaker 4: Oh?
- 34:18Speaker 14: My goodness. Is one really important data point that I
- 34:22Speaker 14: would love to leave your audience with nothing else, is
- 34:24Speaker 14: that if we abandoned mythol cigarettes, we would completely eliminate
- 34:28Speaker 14: the visarity and lung cancer among African American men and
- 34:32Speaker 14: other racial groups within five years.
- 34:34Speaker 16: That's huge.
- 34:36Speaker 14: But in addition to that, we'll say those forty five
- 34:38Speaker 14: thousand lives of folks that are currently smoking mythol cigarettes.
- 34:42Speaker 14: Now what we need to do is support folks in
- 34:44Speaker 14: our community with secstation services so that they can they
- 34:47Speaker 14: can move to quitting. So we're really committed to that
- 34:51Speaker 14: agenda as well. But this is just a very simple thing,
- 34:55Speaker 14: a very effective thing we could to save so many,
- 34:58Speaker 14: so many in our community.
- 35:01Speaker 3: It's good work you're doing, yes, upstanding saving lives, yes, ma'am.
- 35:09Speaker 14: Absolutely, And we want our young people too not to
- 35:11Speaker 14: be victims of this. So you know that predatory marketing
- 35:14Speaker 14: is generational, but it also really impacts you know, our
- 35:18Speaker 14: our youth, and so we don't want them to start
- 35:21Speaker 14: something that you know, maybe were there was you know,
- 35:24Speaker 14: more pressure in our community.
- 35:25Speaker 4: It was you know, the time in.
- 35:27Speaker 14: Cigarette smoking was cool. You know, I have to say,
- 35:31Speaker 14: you know, our kids don't smoke cigarettes as much, but
- 35:34Speaker 14: they do smoke favors cigars and they are a part
- 35:36Speaker 14: of this increasing e cigarette academic that's happening in the
- 35:39Speaker 14: United States. So we see our job as helping current
- 35:42Speaker 14: adult smokers, you know, quit and young people never ever
- 35:45Speaker 14: ever feeling like it's cool to take up cigarettes or
- 35:48Speaker 14: other tobacco products. So we appreciate the support you're giving
- 35:51Speaker 14: by giving us a platform to really move this agenda
- 35:54Speaker 14: forward and to get these kinds of messages into the
- 35:56Speaker 14: Apidan American community. It's a it's an easy for us
- 36:00Speaker 14: to do with this easiness to.
- 36:01Speaker 10: Say fly for us.
- 36:04Speaker 8: Well, we definitely appreciate what you're doing. Appreciate your congratulations
- 36:08Speaker 8: again on your new position.
- 36:10Speaker 1: Yes, President, and oh.
- 36:13Speaker 14: Yeah, it's a title that looks where well.
- 36:16Speaker 10: I think.
- 36:19Speaker 8: And if you see some keys, if you see some
- 36:21Speaker 8: kids with some cigarette, don't beat the don't be scared
- 36:22Speaker 8: to beat they behind.
- 36:23Speaker 2: I'll send them to me. Don't be don't be worried
- 36:25Speaker 2: about that. I got it.
- 36:28Speaker 14: A long dawn when we could do that.
- 36:33Speaker 1: Well, thank you, thank you, Thanks Long Richardson.
- 36:35Speaker 2: We appreciate you calling in.
- 36:37Speaker 15: Thank you so much.
- 36:38Speaker 1: All right, coming up more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 36:41Speaker 1: Right after this. You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 36:46Speaker 13: Well, country singer Miranda Lambert stopped singing mid show over

- 37:30Speaker 2: Nobody?
- 37:32Speaker 4: Damn it.
- 37:33Speaker 8: You gont listen to country music. You'll be taking the
- 37:35Speaker 8: selfies out here. And I mean that you understand that
- 37:38Speaker 8: it's a respect level when it comes to country music
- 37:41Speaker 8: and you're not gonna be sitting here video on the
- 37:43Speaker 8: whole thing and selfing.
- 37:44Speaker 2: It and all that and your face with your light
- 37:46Speaker 2: and all that. Come on, now, what is happening?
- 37:49Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 37:49Speaker 13: Yeah, all right, So you guys are performers on stage,
- 37:53Speaker 13: and uh is that a distraction?
- 37:56Speaker 1: Is it a distraction? If you're trying to perform, it's
- 37:58Speaker 1: a distract. Distraction like flashing all of.
- 38:01Speaker 8: That, not only that, just just just somebody trying to
- 38:04Speaker 8: film your whole show. It's just like, yo, dude, what
- 38:07Speaker 8: you're doing? What you're finna do with this?
- 38:09Speaker 2: You know, I'm doing this show next week in Nansville?
- 38:11Speaker 4: Right?
- 38:12Speaker 2: Can I Can I show it to nance Ville before
- 38:15Speaker 2: you do? Can I do that?
- 38:16Speaker 11: Have you said that to them?
- 38:18Speaker 4: Yes?
- 38:19Speaker 9: Yes, yes, absolutely, I've sat there and you know I'll
- 38:25Speaker 9: be up there talking because you be in the middle
- 38:27Speaker 9: of the joke like you're in the part of the
- 38:28Speaker 9: set up, the most important part of it. And they
- 38:30Speaker 9: got a whole conversation to tell you. I'm sorry, yeahbody
- 38:33Speaker 9: hold on, this must be important what they talking about.
- 38:36Speaker 2: It's got to be.
- 38:37Speaker 12: Okay, I'm I'm gonna listen. That's what I'm gonna do.
- 38:40Speaker 12: I'm anna listen.
- 38:42Speaker 8: But it's good to make the announcement before the show
- 38:45Speaker 8: starts that you know, if you if you, if you
- 38:48Speaker 8: caught video and you know you might be asking. Yeah, yeah,
- 38:51Speaker 8: Hellapelle used to take your damn phone and get it
- 38:53Speaker 8: back to you oufter the show.
- 38:55Speaker 1: You know, you haven't talked about four or five women.
- 38:58Speaker 13: And then they made a space so they could have
- 39:01Speaker 13: Miranda Lambert right there in the selfie as well. They
- 39:05Speaker 13: want to She was on stage, Miranda Lambert was on stage,
- 39:08Speaker 13: and they were, you know, in the audience. So yeah,

- 39:14Speaker 13: her a concert grinch. Yeah they really did you think
- 39:17Speaker 13: she reacted?
- 39:19Speaker 8: No, no, she got she won't if you come to
- 39:21Speaker 8: see her, give her that, give her that attention, give

- 40:37Speaker 10: tell you guys that all the time.
- 40:40Speaker 16: When you're in your twentieth and your thirties, you're knocking
- 40:43Speaker 16: it out of the bar.
- 40:44Speaker 10: Bring in your forty and your.
- 40:46Speaker 16: Fifties, you still can hit it in the outfield. When
- 40:49Speaker 16: you're in your sixties, you still can get a base hit.

- 42:12Speaker 17: a good idea. And Tommy, if you see Brandy Evan,
- 42:16Speaker 17: she is from messis Pe Valley star Miss Mercedes, tell
- 42:21Speaker 17: her to take her to the taller Panther studios and
- 42:24Speaker 17: get the work done unless Hollywood got them heamed up
- 42:27Speaker 17: where they can't do that. But I'm so sick of this.
- 42:29Speaker 17: They did this when we moved to California in two
- 42:31Speaker 17: thousand and seven, and they had to pick it and
- 42:35Speaker 17: get the money. But back in the day, civil rights days,
- 42:38Speaker 17: when black people went together, we didn't need their money.
- 42:40Speaker 17: So I don't see why we can't just hook up

- 43:06Speaker 2: In after all of it.
- 43:08Speaker 8: Oh No, I can't just go to Tyler and Tyler
- 43:10Speaker 8: let's just keep shooting me. Look, at me so damn
- 43:12Speaker 8: crazy like you show damn man. We got a picket baby. Now.
- 43:17Speaker 8: Now you got me out there looking for somebody on
- 43:19Speaker 8: Pea Valley, and I got to find out what she at,
- 43:24Speaker 8: Brandy Edmans. I got to look for Brandy and see
- 43:27Speaker 8: where Brandy ad if I make sure Brandy picketing with me.
- 43:29Speaker 8: And when me and Brandy get through, we need to
- 43:32Speaker 8: hear the Atlanta and get the tyler and tell Tyler
- 43:34Speaker 8: let's keep shooting. Is that my assignment? Did I hear
- 43:37Speaker 8: that right now?
- 43:38Speaker 1: Like some of your mom tells you to do when
- 43:40Speaker 1: she sends you to the store, come and get me. Yeah,
- 43:44Speaker 1: give me some nutman.
- 43:45Speaker 2: Look at me what I'm talking? I want you to
- 43:46Speaker 2: give me some nutman.
- 43:49Speaker 8: Yes, come, it's fraid I need some peas with some
- 43:51Speaker 8: peas in there, and I need eight peches so we
- 43:53Speaker 8: can make this copy him.
- 43:54Speaker 2: Don't you mess up none of this. I can't break
- 43:57Speaker 2: the picket, lamb, baby.
- 43:58Speaker 8: I got to I got to ride with my comrae,
- 44:00Speaker 8: with my fellow actors and fellow writers. I got to
- 44:02Speaker 8: get in there and I'm going I am going to
- 44:04Speaker 8: the picket line this weekend. But by the wait, you know,
- 44:08Speaker 8: I am blessed to be able to still be able
- 44:10Speaker 8: to do stand ups. So I'm grateful and hummed that
- 44:12Speaker 8: I'm still be able to be on stage to do that.
- 44:14Speaker 8: The Redondo Beach, the nephew come in to town. We're
- 44:16Speaker 8: gonna have the food, but I will be picking it.
- 44:19Speaker 12: That's pretty good.
- 44:19Speaker 3: I'm going to tell people if they don't understand what
- 44:23Speaker 3: the strike is about, because.
- 44:24Speaker 2: A lot of the strike is about this whole streaming service.
- 44:28Speaker 2: You know what I mean.
- 44:28Speaker 8: We're talking about net be talking about one of the
- 44:31Speaker 8: situations Netflix, Hulu, from Prime Video, you just name it.
- 44:37Speaker 2: You know, the actors and.
- 44:38Speaker 8: The writers are not getting paid from that, and and
- 44:43Speaker 8: Netflix and who on the rest of them are just
- 44:45Speaker 8: taking the cash to the bank. So it's it's it's
- 44:47Speaker 8: time to break bread and where it's called that work
- 44:50Speaker 8: exactly all.
- 44:51Speaker 1: Right, thinking of you.
- 44:52Speaker 13: Coming up next, it is a pring phone call for today.
- 44:55Speaker 13: Right after this you're listening morning show coming up at

- 45:06Speaker 13: He's too big.
- 45:07Speaker 1: And fine to be this way. Mm hmmm. Wait wait
- 45:13Speaker 1: has been by me all week.
- 45:19Speaker 13: Word to the wise. You don't want this one to

- 49:46Speaker 4: we're that's why we called to get your number on
- 49:49Speaker 4: the car somewhere else.
- 49:50Speaker 15: Man, what the do you mean?
- 49:51Speaker 1: Do I have a car or not?
- 49:53Speaker 4: Did my car that? So we how many fours do
- 49:55Speaker 4: you have?
- 49:55Speaker 15: How long?

- 51:15Speaker 4: Are you a manager?
- 51:16Speaker 15: What's your occupying them?
- 51:17Speaker 4: Sir? I'm the manager. I'm the manager here. And Orlando

- 54:41Speaker 4: You here.
- 54:41Speaker 13: It is Strawberry Letter, Thank you Nephew. Subject He's too
- 54:45Speaker 13: big and fine to be this way. Dear Stephen Shirley,
- 54:49Speaker 13: I'm forty six years old and I'm divorced. I dated
- 54:53Speaker 13: a younger man right after my divorce, and besides great intimacy,
- 54:57Speaker 13: we had nothing else in common. He was six four
- 55:00Speaker 13: and slim, with broad shoulders. He did not look like
- 55:04Speaker 13: he was only thirty six years old. After we broke up,
- 55:07Speaker 13: I had a hard time meeting another man that had height,
- 55:10Speaker 13: was handsome, and was how can we say blessed?
- 55:14Speaker 1: We'll just say blessed. Okay. So I settled for the
- 55:17Speaker 1: guy me but go ahead, really six four in my mind, y'all,
- 55:26Speaker 1: you're six maybe?
- 55:27Speaker 18: Yeah.
- 55:29Speaker 1: So I settled for the guy I am seeing now.
- 55:32Speaker 13: He's fifty years old, six two, with curly hair, and
- 55:36Speaker 13: you can tell he's a gym rat. He even has
- 55:39Speaker 13: the muscular thighs that I adore. But I hate two
- 55:43Speaker 13: things about him. One is that he's light skinned. He's
- 55:46Speaker 13: a light skinned man because I usually go for the
- 55:49Speaker 13: dark skin guys. The other thing I hate is his size.
- 55:54Speaker 13: He's too big and fine to be that small. That's
- 55:57Speaker 13: the main issue. I'd bet money that's why he's still
- 56:00Speaker 13: single at fifty, because he checks off all the other boxes.
- 56:03Speaker 13: In the beginning, when we met, I didn't think we
- 56:05Speaker 13: could stay together. So I was honest with him and
- 56:08Speaker 13: told him he was small.
- 56:10Speaker 1: He told me not to worry because it would get
- 56:12Speaker 1: better and better because he was a magician. In the bedroom.
- 56:16Speaker 13: I kept hoping for a miracle to happen each time
- 56:18Speaker 13: we were intimate, but it was the same old, unfulfilling experience.
- 56:24Speaker 13: I talked to two of my closest girlfriends separately, and
- 56:27Speaker 13: they each told me that it's slim pickings in the
- 56:30Speaker 13: dating world. So if that's his only problem, then I
- 56:33Speaker 13: need to stop tripping and treat this man like a king.
- 56:37Speaker 13: I'm sorry, but I am not happy with his performance,
- 56:41Speaker 13: and knowing me, I'm gonna have to say something to
- 56:44Speaker 13: him again. Am I supposed to coach him every time?
- 56:47Speaker 13: Would it be rude to suggest medical enhancements? All right, Wow,
- 56:55Speaker 13: it seems like he's given you. Yeah, it seems like
- 56:57Speaker 13: he's given you the best that he's got.
- 56:59Speaker 1: This It really does. That's all there is.
- 57:02Speaker 13: And if you tell him something like he needs to
- 57:04Speaker 13: look into enlarging himself or something like that, you could
- 57:07Speaker 13: really crush him.
- 57:08Speaker 1: It didn't work the first time. It did not work.
- 57:11Speaker 1: When you told him he was small.
- 57:14Speaker 13: He said he'd get better and better because he's a
- 57:17Speaker 13: magician in the bedroom. Still didn't happen. You're unsatisfied now
- 57:22Speaker 13: with his performance in the bedroom. That hasn't changed. Where
- 57:24Speaker 13: is the magic He's promised. You don't even like his
- 57:28Speaker 13: skin color. He's too light for you. You have given
- 57:32Speaker 13: us more of what you don't like about this guy
- 57:34Speaker 13: than what you do like about him. And I don't
- 57:37Speaker 13: think you're going to be able to hang in there
- 57:38Speaker 13: because you're complaining too much.
- 57:40Speaker 1: This relationship is just getting started.
- 57:42Speaker 13: I mean, you're already thinking about medical enhancements for him.
- 57:46Speaker 1: I just say, face it, you're not happy with this guy.
- 57:50Speaker 13: This is not gonna work for you. Let's just put
- 57:54Speaker 13: yourself out of your own misery.
- 57:56Speaker 1: Tommy.
- 57:57Speaker 8: I know you don't want to hear it this way,
- 58:00Speaker 8: but ain't no more blessings, Ain't no more. He didn't
- 58:04Speaker 8: give you all he got. Ain't no mo Now what
- 58:08Speaker 8: you can do?
- 58:09Speaker 2: I'm with you on the enhancement. Okay, Now we can
- 58:12Speaker 2: go down there and get a medical procedure done. I'm
- 58:16Speaker 2: all for that. The problem. What I like is he
- 58:18Speaker 2: checks all.
- 58:19Speaker 8: The boxes except this one box, this one box, and
- 58:24Speaker 8: I think this one box is probably the most important
- 58:27Speaker 8: box to you. And that's the problem, this this live
- 58:33Speaker 8: bitty box, because because his box, little, this lived bittybox
- 58:36Speaker 8: is important to you and.
- 58:38Speaker 2: You need that box.
- 58:39Speaker 8: So let's get him some enhancements. Let's figure out what
- 58:42Speaker 8: we could do other than that. Y'all gonna have to
- 58:44Speaker 8: turn to these toys if that's not working, because you
- 58:47Speaker 8: got a good man.
- 58:49Speaker 2: You got a good man.
- 58:49Speaker 8: As far as all this Houdini, he finna do some magic.
- 58:53Speaker 8: You're not finn to pull nothing out of his hat
- 58:55Speaker 8: because he ain't got nothing in his hat. We've already
- 58:57Speaker 8: realized that it's over. That's not gonna happen. How can
- 59:01Speaker 8: I explain it to you?
- 59:02Speaker 11: You can't.
- 59:05Speaker 8: Go eight hours. I'm just saying, to go eight hours.
- 59:08Speaker 8: That's my long time to stay. Okay, I can't say that.
- 59:11Speaker 8: I can't say that. Okay, they got some good ones
- 59:15Speaker 8: in there. Yeah, okay, they got some real good ones.
- 59:19Speaker 8: And uh uh go in there and pick you by four.
- 59:22Speaker 8: Um in there, get your four of them. Okay, use
- 59:26Speaker 8: use one different days of the week. Don't quit using him.
- 59:30Speaker 8: Just tell him you love him. Keep checking them other
- 59:33Speaker 8: boxes the way he doing. You're gonna have to fix
- 59:35Speaker 8: this other box yourself, all right. And if we get
- 59:38Speaker 8: these toys, we can handle that. I'm just saying. I'm
- 59:41Speaker 8: just saying. They got they got a stove, biggest tars
- 59:43Speaker 8: Russ Gott up they wall to wall. I promise that
- 59:47Speaker 8: all they got it laid up in there that don't
- 59:49Speaker 8: stop at them change and then whips don't stop over
- 59:51Speaker 8: there in that.
- 59:51Speaker 11: Section if you say one more thing about that.
- 59:56Speaker 8: So I'm the only one in this stove, and I'm
- 59:59Speaker 8: the only one. I am not the only one that
- 1:00:03Speaker 8: has been to the stove. I mean I've been in it,
- 1:00:06Speaker 8: but I passed by. And when they and when they
- 1:00:09Speaker 8: and when they open the door, you can look in
- 1:00:11Speaker 8: there and see. Okay, you can look in there and see.
- 1:00:15Speaker 8: And let me tell you something. They got some stuff
- 1:00:17Speaker 8: up in there. All you gotta do, okay, okay, okay,
- 1:00:20Speaker 8: help her, help her? Okay, get listen, get you a
- 1:00:26Speaker 8: nice gift card for this stove.
- 1:00:28Speaker 4: And there.
- 1:00:30Speaker 8: Okay, how how's we gonna fix it? We're not gonna
- 1:00:33Speaker 8: go in this stove. How we gonna fix it?
- 1:00:36Speaker 2: He can't do nothing.
- 1:00:37Speaker 4: He done.
- 1:00:39Speaker 2: He done this like this like.
- 1:00:42Speaker 8: Y'all buying a nice house. But it ain't enough room.
- 1:00:44Speaker 8: And you want to you want to get an ad on.
- 1:00:46Speaker 8: Either we're gonna get him an add on, or we're
- 1:00:48Speaker 8: gonna go down to this stove.
- 1:00:49Speaker 2: Now, which one y'all want to do? Do you want
- 1:00:53Speaker 2: to add or do you want Oh?
- 1:00:55Speaker 13: Hang on, we'll have part two of the Strawberry Letter
- 1:00:58Speaker 13: coming up at twenty three minutes after the hour. Today's
- 1:01:01Speaker 13: subject he's too big and fine to be this way.
- 1:01:04Speaker 13: We'll get back into it right after this.
- 1:01:06Speaker 2: Didn't they stretched this man legs and make him taller?
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: Yes, you're listening hard morning show.
- 1:01:14Speaker 13: All right, guys, we're gonna recap today's Strawberry letter. The
- 1:01:16Speaker 13: subject is he's way too big and fine to be
- 1:01:19Speaker 13: this way. He's too big and fine to be this way.
- 1:01:23Speaker 13: Forty six year old woman wrote in She's Divorced she
- 1:01:26Speaker 13: dated a younger man right after her divorce.
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: She loved the man.
- 1:01:29Speaker 13: He was six or four, slim, broad shoulders, he was
- 1:01:32Speaker 13: blessed in the bedroom, all of that, but out of
- 1:01:35Speaker 13: the bedroom, they didn't have too much in common.
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: So she met another guy.
- 1:01:39Speaker 13: Fifty years old, six ' to two, curly hair, works
- 1:01:42Speaker 13: out in the gym, great thighs, all of that. He's
- 1:01:46Speaker 13: light skinned. She likes dark skin guys. That's one of
- 1:01:49Speaker 13: the things that she doesn't like about him. The other
- 1:01:51Speaker 13: thing is she's saying he's not endowed enough for her.
- 1:01:55Speaker 13: He's too small for her, so she never thought they
- 1:01:58Speaker 13: would be together. So she was honest with him, she said,
- 1:02:01Speaker 13: and just told him he was small. He told her
- 1:02:04Speaker 13: not to worry. It's going to get better and better
- 1:02:07Speaker 13: because he's a magician in the bedroom. Well, anyway, that
- 1:02:10Speaker 13: hasn't happened. That has not happened. She's waiting, still waiting
- 1:02:13Speaker 13: for that miracle when they're intimate. And she talked to
- 1:02:17Speaker 13: some of her friends and they told her, listen, he's
- 1:02:19Speaker 13: a good man. You know, dating world, stop tripping, dating
- 1:02:23Speaker 13: world is hard, all of that.
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: Treat him like a king and.
- 1:02:26Speaker 13: Forget about all that other stuff. But she says she's
- 1:02:29Speaker 13: just not happy knowing her. She's going to ask him
- 1:02:32Speaker 13: to get some medical enhancements and she doesn't want to
- 1:02:36Speaker 13: have to coach him every time.
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: So that's where we are. That's where we are, Tommy,
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: finish up your answer.
- 1:02:41Speaker 2: We'll get let me finish real quick.
- 1:02:43Speaker 8: Down there in Burbank, in Burbank, California, they got a
- 1:02:46Speaker 8: doctor down there that made a man taller from five
- 1:02:49Speaker 8: to seven, just five ten, you understand. Yeah, So that's
- 1:02:53Speaker 8: why I got to make with him.
- 1:02:55Speaker 2: I call him a stretch doctor.
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: You understand.
- 1:02:57Speaker 8: I'm saying stretch doctor, So maybe a flight to birdbank,
- 1:03:02Speaker 8: you understand, could really fix this situation. Now, you're not
- 1:03:05Speaker 8: trying to get taller, but you understand what I'm saying.
- 1:03:08Speaker 8: What I'm saying, you need to come. You don't tell
- 1:03:12Speaker 8: me to wrap it up rock. You don't tell me that.
- 1:03:16Speaker 8: And we're not talking about height or you know what
- 1:03:19Speaker 8: I'm trying. I'm trying to help the man, get the
- 1:03:21Speaker 8: bird bank and get the man right so we can
- 1:03:23Speaker 8: get the woman's But she checked her last box.
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: Go ahead, Joe, want him.
- 1:03:29Speaker 2: What you got.
- 1:03:29Speaker 12: No, No, I'm telling you all, y'all understand this woman's frustration.
- 1:03:33Speaker 2: All right, No, she tired of this. No, I don't care.
- 1:03:36Speaker 9: He too big and too fine and all this here
- 1:03:39Speaker 9: and then and then and then you get pole performances
- 1:03:41Speaker 9: in the bedroom. Every day, she getting the pole performance.
- 1:03:45Speaker 9: She is sick of these speeches after every sex performance.
- 1:03:48Speaker 9: She tied of these speeches, these speeches.
- 1:03:49Speaker 12: Getting longer and longer. Oh, these speeches, they damn their dissertations.

- 1:04:38Speaker 9: eyes in me, all this, and every time it's the

- 1:10:32Speaker 1: Coming up at the top of the hour.
- 1:10:34Speaker 13: Thanks for our caller coming up at the top of
- 1:10:36Speaker 13: the hour. Some social media advice needed here. The question
- 1:10:40Speaker 13: is was I wrong for leaving my wife during a
- 1:10:43Speaker 13: five k race? We'll talk about it right after this.
- 1:10:46Speaker 1: You're listening.
- 1:10:48Speaker 13: Morning show, all right, So Temmy Marcus on Facebook rights, Hey, Tommy,
- 1:10:54Speaker 13: I'm a runner like you, So check this out. I'm
- 1:10:57Speaker 13: in the doghouse over the five k my why and
- 1:11:00Speaker 13: I ran over the weekend We entered a five k
- 1:11:03Speaker 13: and both agreed that it was for fun and not
- 1:11:05Speaker 13: to be competitive. That said, for all the training, walking
- 1:11:09Speaker 13: and running we did to build up to it, I
- 1:11:11Speaker 13: didn't agree to do this thing to take a leisurely stroll.
- 1:11:14Speaker 13: When it started, my wife saw a friend of hers
- 1:11:17Speaker 13: pushing a stroller and it became a quote girlfriends taking
- 1:11:20Speaker 13: a walk in the park time, and I had too
- 1:11:22Speaker 13: much energy for that.
- 1:11:23Speaker 1: So I kissed her, told see her.
- 1:11:25Speaker 13: At the finish line, and took off and I finished
- 1:11:28Speaker 13: in thirty five minutes, which is a record for me,
- 1:11:31Speaker 13: and I'm proud of that. Since then, though, I've been
- 1:11:33Speaker 13: getting this uh huh, Yeah, thirty five minutes is good.
- 1:11:38Speaker 2: That's not bad. Okay, I would have been proudly back
- 1:11:44Speaker 2: twenty eight minutes.
- 1:11:45Speaker 1: Oh you gotta play. He said, it's not a competitional one.
- 1:11:54Speaker 13: But he says since then he's been getting the silent
- 1:11:56Speaker 13: treatment from his wife and it's been tense.
- 1:11:58Speaker 1: He doesn't understand it.
- 1:11:59Speaker 13: He tried to explaining that he felt left out of
- 1:12:01Speaker 13: the conversation between the two ladies, but she's not having it.
- 1:12:05Speaker 13: So he says, come on, nephew, other than just letting
- 1:12:09Speaker 13: time handle it, is there a way to fix this
- 1:12:12Speaker 13: that I'm not seeing I even apologize, even though I think,
- 1:12:15Speaker 13: I don't think I did anything wrong.
- 1:12:18Speaker 8: I don't think you did anything wrong. Like I mean,
- 1:12:20Speaker 8: were you waiting for your wife at the finish line
- 1:12:22Speaker 8: when she came through. As long as you was waiting
- 1:12:24Speaker 8: for as long as you ain't run off and leave
- 1:12:26Speaker 8: or nothing, then were good. But I mean, if y'all
- 1:12:28Speaker 8: trained to actually go run the mat the five k, yeah,
- 1:12:33Speaker 8: if y'all trained to go do that, then that's understood.
- 1:12:35Speaker 8: Now if she gonna at the last second decide she's
- 1:12:38Speaker 8: gonna talk to this woman with the stroller. Hey right,
- 1:12:41Speaker 8: I'm not finna walk this five k. Now, I want
- 1:12:43Speaker 8: you to run. We don't train for this. Well, I
- 1:12:45Speaker 8: understand you kissing your wife saying baby, I see you
- 1:12:47Speaker 8: at the finish line.
- 1:12:48Speaker 2: Now she got her lip by behind that at the end.
- 1:12:51Speaker 8: Now you still gotta walk lightly on it and say baby,
- 1:12:54Speaker 8: I don't understand you got to talk to baby.
- 1:12:55Speaker 2: Don't understand why you're mad. Let's let's get.
- 1:12:57Speaker 8: Let's let's address the problem. Why are you upset with me?
- 1:13:00Speaker 8: We trained four five k.
- 1:13:03Speaker 2: I ran it.
- 1:13:03Speaker 8: You decided to walk with your girl. I'm not upset
- 1:13:06Speaker 8: that you've decided to change on me at the last minute.
- 1:13:08Speaker 8: So why are you upset with me that I decided
- 1:13:10Speaker 8: to run? It was always we were always gonna run this,
- 1:13:13Speaker 8: and this was something we were supposed to be doing together.
- 1:13:16Speaker 8: But now you decided something to the last second that
- 1:13:18Speaker 8: you're gonna chit chat for three damn miles. And I
- 1:13:20Speaker 8: don't understand why you didn't let me calm down, let
- 1:13:23Speaker 8: me come down. We trained for this and I didn't
- 1:13:26Speaker 8: train to walk. Okay, so you know, but address the problem.
- 1:13:30Speaker 8: Talk to your girl. I understand you left or you ran.
- 1:13:33Speaker 8: She stayed with her girl, So just talk to and
- 1:13:35Speaker 8: steep you can get. But all that walking around the
- 1:13:37Speaker 8: house and not saying that people got their lip, I
- 1:13:39Speaker 8: that's so unhealthy.
- 1:13:40Speaker 3: That's so good your wife to run with you, because
- 1:13:44Speaker 3: she's not all right.
- 1:13:45Speaker 8: I have taken my wife to run with me and
- 1:13:48Speaker 8: Lord today. What I don't like about it is is
- 1:13:52Speaker 8: they call it run. Want that walk run walk?
- 1:13:56Speaker 1: Run?
- 1:13:56Speaker 8: No is we're running in for a minutes and after
- 1:14:00Speaker 8: about five minutes of running, okay, let's let's just walk
- 1:14:02Speaker 8: in a bit.
- 1:14:05Speaker 2: Just come on, I'm just getting studied.
- 1:14:10Speaker 12: All right.
- 1:14:11Speaker 1: You're gonna get the silent treatment.
- 1:14:14Speaker 2: But Jackie, jack youn tell you. I go on, go
- 1:14:16Speaker 2: on and do what you got to do. I will
- 1:14:18Speaker 2: back at the car, go ahead, and my husband.
- 1:14:21Speaker 1: But yeah, I ain't running.
- 1:14:22Speaker 8: I ain't doing But you don't you know, if you
- 1:14:24Speaker 8: come with your wife to the park to run, you
- 1:14:26Speaker 8: know you are already know.
- 1:14:27Speaker 2: I'm gonna be walking, walking, and running. I'm not gonna leave.
- 1:14:30Speaker 13: Yeah, but that's different. That's different what he was talking about.
- 1:14:34Speaker 13: This was a planned five k run that they had
- 1:14:37Speaker 13: together and.
- 1:14:37Speaker 4: All of that.
- 1:14:38Speaker 1: She flipped it when they got there. Yeah, I'm with.
- 1:14:41Speaker 3: Him on and he didn't flip with her, and now
- 1:14:44Speaker 3: she upset. Yeah, it was her way out, way out
- 1:14:47Speaker 3: the race.
- 1:14:51Speaker 5: That's what happened.
- 1:14:54Speaker 2: Somebody, look good baby, let me hold the baby.
- 1:14:59Speaker 1: Yeah, I know she quit. She's a quitter. I definitely
- 1:15:09Speaker 1: put on him. That's what she did. I'm telling you
- 1:15:13Speaker 1: quit on home man. Yeah, yeah, she did. I'm with
- 1:15:16Speaker 1: him in this one for sure, right right, So now she's.
- 1:15:19Speaker 11: Not talking to him. Oh, you just had to ruin.
- 1:15:23Speaker 1: They trained for this.
- 1:15:24Speaker 13: Come on now, all right, coming up in twenty minutes
- 1:15:28Speaker 13: after the hour, we'll have more of the Steve Harvey
- 1:15:30Speaker 13: Morning Show.
- 1:15:31Speaker 1: Right after this you're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:15:37Speaker 13: Well, according to the Black Information Network, Tyler Perry, Kyrie Irving,
- 1:15:41Speaker 13: Fantasia meek Mill, and other black celebrities are helping a
- 1:15:45Speaker 13: ninety three year old South Carolina woman fight to keep
- 1:15:48Speaker 13: her land in Hilton Head, South Carolina. Miss Josephine Wright
- 1:15:52Speaker 13: has lived at her property, a one point eight acre
- 1:15:54Speaker 13: piece of land that has been in her family since
- 1:15:57Speaker 13: the Civil War. Miss Wright is facing a lawsuit over
- 1:16:01Speaker 13: the line issues by Bailey Point Investment LLC, a development
- 1:16:05Speaker 13: company constructing a one hundred and forty seven unit building
- 1:16:09Speaker 13: slash neighborhood that would intrude on her land. Miss Wright's
- 1:16:13Speaker 13: family believes the lawsuit is intended to coerse her into

- 1:16:24Speaker 13: Me page.

- 1:16:42Speaker 9: line is about twenty two feet from her front door,
- 1:16:45Speaker 9: and they try to make her sell that land.
- 1:16:47Speaker 12: And that's so wrong, and that's why it really is wrong.
- 1:16:49Speaker 12: They know it's it's just to make her sell it
- 1:16:51Speaker 12: really is. It's horrible.
- 1:16:53Speaker 1: Yeah, her family has had listen to civil war. Come on, now,

- 1:21:48Speaker 1: One more all right.
- 1:21:50Speaker 13: This is from Tony and Steve Harvey FM. Tony writes,
- 1:21:53Speaker 13: my bff and I have known each other since we
- 1:21:56Speaker 13: were little kids, and I absolutely adore her, but she
- 1:21:59Speaker 13: is still a bit of a wild child, and my
- 1:22:02Speaker 13: fiance hasn't really warmed up to her yet. Uh So,
- 1:22:05Speaker 13: now we're planning our wedding and I definitely want her
- 1:22:08Speaker 13: to be a major part of the weekend, and my
- 1:22:10Speaker 13: fiance is having a fit about it. I don't see
- 1:22:13Speaker 13: how I could possibly get married without my bff at
- 1:22:16Speaker 13: my side, and it's causing a rift in my relationship
- 1:22:19Speaker 13: with my fiance. I don't know what he's thinking she's
- 1:22:24Speaker 13: gonna do to ruin our day, but he doesn't want
- 1:22:26Speaker 13: any part of the wedding to be dependent upon her.
- 1:22:29Speaker 1: So what should I do?
- 1:22:30Speaker 13: I really need her to be a part of the wedding,
- 1:22:32Speaker 13: but I don't want to start off my marriage on
- 1:22:34Speaker 13: a bad foot.
- 1:22:36Speaker 8: You're no good and dog on well, that girl gonna
- 1:22:38Speaker 8: act a damn food at this lead. You already know
- 1:22:41Speaker 8: ques yo yo y'll soon to be her husband. No,
- 1:22:44Speaker 8: she's gonna act a dog on food at this ready.
- 1:22:47Speaker 8: I think you're gonna have to pull your girlfriend to
- 1:22:48Speaker 8: the side and say, listen, uh, they talking about your girl.
- 1:22:53Speaker 8: They talking about you. They talk about not They talking
- 1:22:56Speaker 8: about you not being in the way. That's what they're
- 1:22:57Speaker 8: talking about. That's what they're talking about. So they talking
- 1:23:04Speaker 8: about it if there's an issue with you, So I
- 1:23:07Speaker 8: need you to come in here and be quiet and
- 1:23:09Speaker 8: let's have a great weekend.
- 1:23:11Speaker 2: Let me enjoy my wedding.
- 1:23:12Speaker 8: I cannot have you going on your wild side, wild'n
- 1:23:16Speaker 8: out acting the dog on food. Matter of fact, don't, don't,
- 1:23:20Speaker 8: don't have no bast read party and help and then
- 1:23:22Speaker 8: or don't do it because it's gonna start from there
- 1:23:25Speaker 8: and it's gonna continue to get buck wild with this girl.
- 1:23:29Speaker 8: So put up, put put some put some restraints on
- 1:23:31Speaker 8: and let her know. Hey, that's what you got to
