- 0:00Speaker 1: Perspective is everything.
- 0:02Speaker 2: Yesterday I was actually a little bit more down than
- 0:06Speaker 2: I am today when it comes to the aftermath of
- 0:10Speaker 2: the big debate between Donald Trump and Kamala Harris and
- 0:15Speaker 2: looking at the data and looking at what many undecided
- 0:18Speaker 2: voters have been saying, looking at many of those that
- 0:22Speaker 2: were interviewed after the debate that were declared as undecided voters,
- 0:28Speaker 2: what I am now understanding and realizing is even if
- 0:33Speaker 2: Donald Trump did not have a great night, and he didn't,
- 0:36Speaker 2: and even even if Kamala Harris had a better night
- 0:39Speaker 2: than she was expecting, which she did, it doesn't change
- 0:44Speaker 2: the fact that the American people are still having a
- 0:47Speaker 2: problem and are still struggling right now. When it comes
- 0:51Speaker 2: to the economy, it goes back to the statement, it's
- 0:54Speaker 2: the economy stupid. There are several data points that are
- 0:58Speaker 2: showing this. For a example, a Reuter's focus group actually
- 1:03Speaker 2: came out and said, with undecided voters, they still say
- 1:08Speaker 2: that Kamala Harris didn't do enough to change their mind. Now,
- 1:12Speaker 2: she may have won the debate on semantics, but what
- 1:15Speaker 2: they're telling you is she did not win when it
- 1:19Speaker 2: came to changing people's minds about what she has actually done.
- 1:22Speaker 2: And what's also interesting about the debate is how people
- 1:27Speaker 2: looked at it. They didn't look at Kamala Harris as
- 1:30Speaker 2: a new candidate. They clearly looked at her as you're
- 1:34Speaker 2: the woman in charge and you've been in charge. So
- 1:37Speaker 2: this idea that she could separate herself from Joe Biden
- 1:41Speaker 2: and Bynomics, that is not going to work. It is
- 1:44Speaker 2: not working based on what we are seeing again with
- 1:48Speaker 2: undecided voters. Now, if you are a Trump supporter, you
- 1:50Speaker 2: are very excited about what I just told you because
- 1:54Speaker 2: this is obviously very important information. In other words, it
- 1:59Speaker 2: comes down to this substance really over style. Here here's
- 2:04Speaker 2: the part that is the most interesting of undecided voters. Again,
- 2:08Speaker 2: this is coming from Reuter's News and their focus group
- 2:11Speaker 2: from debate night. Undecided voters are now leaning two to
- 2:15Speaker 2: one to Donald Trump after the debate depundits and look,
- 2:20Speaker 2: I'm one of those.
- 2:21Speaker 1: I'm a realist.
- 2:22Speaker 2: It wasn't a great night for Donald Trump, and many
- 2:25Speaker 2: on TV jumped to the excitement and declared Vice President
- 2:29Speaker 2: Kamala Harris the clear winner of Tuesday night's debate. Former
- 2:32Speaker 2: President Trump won six of ten undecided voters in a
- 2:36Speaker 2: Reuter's focus group. That's the only data to me that matters,
- 2:40Speaker 2: because if you were watching the debate and this debate
- 2:43Speaker 2: happened and you were solidly in the camp for Donald Trump,
- 2:47Speaker 2: you weren't changing going to Kamala Harris. If you were
- 2:50Speaker 2: watching the debate and you were solidly in Kamala Harris's
- 2:53Speaker 2: court as well, you were not going to change your
- 2:56Speaker 2: vote to Donald Trump. So the question came down to
- 3:00Speaker 2: swing voters, undecided voters, and former President Donald Trump. Even
- 3:04Speaker 2: after everything that happened on stage and it being a
- 3:06Speaker 2: three to one debate ABC News and the two anchors
- 3:10Speaker 2: An Harris against Trump, Trump won six of ten undecided
- 3:13Speaker 2: voters in this Reuters focus group.
- 3:16Speaker 1: That is significant.
- 3:17Speaker 2: Harris, by the way, only one three, meaning you still
- 3:21Speaker 2: have some that are quote undecided. There's also to back
- 3:25Speaker 2: this up in your Time survey of undecideds, and they
- 3:28Speaker 2: had similar results as well. I'll dive into that in
- 3:31Speaker 2: a second, but first I want to tell you about
- 3:33Speaker 2: bond arms. As everyone knows, I'm a staunch advocate for
- 3:37Speaker 2: god given Second Amendment rights. Shooting is something that is
- 3:41Speaker 2: important to me and my family, and I owned a
- 3:44Speaker 2: gun store at a gun range for years. Why because
- 3:47Speaker 2: I wanted to help people be able to protect and
- 3:49Speaker 2: defend themselves. Well, that's why I want to tell you
- 3:52Speaker 2: about bond Arms. It's a thirty year old Texas based company.
- 3:57Speaker 2: Bond Arms makes the smallest, most powerful, best built personal
- 4:01Speaker 2: protection that you can carry. These unique handguns are simple
- 4:06Speaker 2: and easy to use, but have unparalleled power like the
- 4:10Speaker 2: forty five, seventy or the fifty A Syclops, which make
- 4:14Speaker 2: them great personal protection options. Without carrying a gun, I
- 4:19Speaker 2: wouldn't be here today. I had to use my gun
- 4:21Speaker 2: to protect and defend my life, and that is why
- 4:23Speaker 2: I'm such an advocate for you being able to do
- 4:26Speaker 2: the exact same thing. I want you to check out
- 4:28Speaker 2: their amazing handguns at get bondarms dot com. Let's get
- 4:34Speaker 2: bondarms dot com. You're gonna see that they're built like
- 4:37Speaker 2: a tank and you've probably even seen these firearms and
- 4:41Speaker 2: your favorite hit TV shows, the series you watch or
- 4:44Speaker 2: movies that you watch as well. Go to get bondarms
- 4:47Speaker 2: dot com and check out their newly patented AR platform
- 4:51Speaker 2: lever Gun, which one Recoil Magazine's best firearm at Shot

- 4:58Speaker 2: with adding some of the coolest and unique firearms on
- 5:00Speaker 2: the market to your personal collection. Tell them I sent
- 5:03Speaker 2: you again. It's get bondarms dot com. Go to get
- 5:07Speaker 2: bondarms dot com right now. So the punit said Harris
- 5:11Speaker 2: won ABC News. I think they was pretty clear in
- 5:15Speaker 2: the aftermath they thought that it was a blood bath
- 5:20Speaker 2: and that Kamala Harris won. Debate has been widely cri
- 5:24Speaker 2: sized for bias on the part of ABC News moderators,
- 5:28Speaker 2: and it was shocking to see how they constantly were
- 5:32Speaker 2: fact checking Donald Trump and not one time did they
- 5:37Speaker 2: fact check Kamala Harris. Some political pundits also predicted the
- 5:41Speaker 2: debate would have little effect on the election. According to
- 5:44Speaker 2: the Reuters after polling right from these swing voters, six
- 5:49Speaker 2: out of ten on decided voters said they were leaning
- 5:52Speaker 2: towards Trump due to Harris's quote, vague answers, and because
- 5:56Speaker 2: they trusted Trump more on the economy, which is the
- 5:59Speaker 2: top issue of this political cycle, pulling down his shows overwhelming.
- 6:05Speaker 2: For the American people, it is the economy and high
- 6:08Speaker 2: prices and inflation is what they are concerned about the most.
- 6:12Speaker 2: Here's something else that's interesting. Reuters interviewed ten people who
- 6:16Speaker 2: were still unsure how they were going to vote in
- 6:19Speaker 2: the November fifth election before they watched the debate. Six
- 6:23Speaker 2: of them said afterwards that they would now either vote
- 6:26Speaker 2: for Trump or we are leaning towards backing Trump. Three
- 6:31Speaker 2: said they would now back Harris, and one was still
- 6:34Speaker 2: unsure how he would vote. Five said they found Harris
- 6:38Speaker 2: vague during the more than ninety minute debate on how
- 6:40Speaker 2: she would improve the US economy and deal with the
- 6:42Speaker 2: high cost of living, which was their top concern. Four
- 6:46Speaker 2: of those six also said Harris did not convince them
- 6:49Speaker 2: she would pursue different economic policies. Then Democratic President Joe Biden,
- 6:56Speaker 2: a Democrat, they largely blamed for the high cost of
- 6:59Speaker 2: living right now now, so they're saying the same thing.
- 7:02Speaker 2: It's high cost of living under Biden. You're a part
- 7:05Speaker 2: of the administration. You're not saying you're going to do
- 7:08Speaker 2: something different, So we believe we're going to have more
- 7:10Speaker 2: of the same if you are elected.
- 7:13Speaker 1: Now.
- 7:13Speaker 2: Six of the undecided voters were men, four were women,
- 7:17Speaker 2: and all had previously voted for Democrat and Republican candidates,
- 7:22Speaker 2: So this was a pretty good sample quote. I felt
- 7:25Speaker 2: like the whole debate was Kamala Harris telling me why
- 7:29Speaker 2: not to vote for Donald Trump instead of why she's
- 7:31Speaker 2: the right candidate, is what Robert Wheeler, a security form
- 7:35Speaker 2: executive in Nevada who was leaning torards Harris before the
- 7:39Speaker 2: debate said when he was asked now. Reuter's report is
- 7:44Speaker 2: supported by New York Times interviews as well of undecided
- 7:47Speaker 2: voters following the debate, saying this quote. Trump's pitch was
- 7:52Speaker 2: a little more convincing than hers, is what. A man
- 7:55Speaker 2: from Milwaukee, a previous Democratic voter, said, saying this, I
- 7:59Speaker 2: guess I'm leaning more more on his facts than her version.
- 8:04Speaker 2: Another one said, when Trump was in office, not going
- 8:06Speaker 2: to lie, I was living way better. I've never been
- 8:09Speaker 2: so down as in the past four years. It's been
- 8:13Speaker 2: so hard for me. That coming from a female voter.
- 8:16Speaker 2: Jason Anderson, a defense contractor from Arizona who voted for
- 8:20Speaker 2: former President Barack Obama, said Harris did not meet his expectations.
- 8:25Speaker 2: Trump had the more commanding presidentation. He told The Times,
- 8:31Speaker 2: there was nothing done by Harris that made me think
- 8:33Speaker 2: she's better in any way. Now here's something else that's interesting.
- 8:37Speaker 2: Sixty one percent of likely voters believe the next president
- 8:41Speaker 2: should represent a major change from the Biden Harris administration.
- 8:46Speaker 2: Going to say that again, sixty one percent of likely
- 8:49Speaker 2: voters believe there needs to be a major change from
- 8:51Speaker 2: what's happening right now, while only twenty five percent said
- 8:56Speaker 2: Harris represented that change. In a new Time Siena College poll,
- 9:02Speaker 2: a majority said Trump clearly represents the change Harris comes
- 9:08Speaker 2: in this debate. Also, with this issue, she cannot campaign
- 9:12Speaker 2: on policies to fix crime, inflation, and or border security
- 9:16Speaker 2: without actually undermining her own time in office as part
- 9:20Speaker 2: of the Biden Harris administration policies. But she must tout
- 9:24Speaker 2: the administration's policies to quote validate her record and her candidacy.
- 9:29Speaker 1: That is also an interesting point.
- 9:32Speaker 2: On CNN, they were asking about these issues, and I
- 9:35Speaker 2: want you to listen to how they said undecideds felt.
- 9:39Speaker 3: Just need to learn more about Donald Trump. Just eighteen
- 9:42Speaker 3: percent of undecided voters say they need.
- 9:44Speaker 1: To learn more about Donald Trump.
- 9:46Speaker 3: But look at this, a near majority of undecided voters
- 9:49Speaker 3: say they want or need to learn more about Kamala Harris. Look,
- 9:53Speaker 3: undecided voters don't really like either one of these folks,
- 9:56Speaker 3: Donald Trump with just an eight percent favorable Kamala Harris,
- 9:58Speaker 3: which just a thirteen percent favorble. But the bottom line
- 10:01Speaker 3: is there's a lot more room for movement for Kamala
- 10:03Speaker 3: Harris than there is for Donald Trump. So the real
- 10:05Speaker 3: question tonight is can Kamala Harris seize this opportunity, sees
- 10:09Speaker 3: the spotlight put to rest fears that they may have
- 10:12Speaker 3: about her, because the bottom line is undecided. Voters have
- 10:15Speaker 3: already made up their mind about Donald Trump. They're waiting
- 10:17Speaker 3: to make up their mind abou Kamala Harris, and how
- 10:18Speaker 3: they do so can make all the difference in the
- 10:20Speaker 3: world at the end of the day come November.
- 10:22Speaker 1: How about the expectations.
- 10:23Speaker 4: I mean people literally put money on who's going to win.
- 10:27Speaker 1: You can bet on anything. What is the expectation?
- 10:30Speaker 3: Yeah, you know if the expectation going into the first
- 10:33Speaker 3: debate of this year, remember this is the second first debate,
- 10:35Speaker 3: As my cover slide kind of indicated, right, they thought
- 10:38Speaker 3: that Donald Trump was going to win that first debate
- 10:40Speaker 3: by an eight point margin. Now the expectation game is
- 10:43Speaker 3: on the other shoe, right, on the other foot. Look
- 10:45Speaker 3: at this when it comes to Kamala Harris versus Donald Trump.
- 10:48Speaker 3: Harris the expectation is that she is going to beat
- 10:50Speaker 3: Donald Trump. Now it's not by that wide of a margin.
- 10:52Speaker 3: But I think tonight the real question is how does
- 10:55Speaker 3: Kamala Harris get viewed and judged by the American public, Because,
- 10:58Speaker 3: as I said, just to go, the American electorate has
- 11:01Speaker 3: made up their mind about Donald Trump, they haven't made
- 11:04Speaker 3: up their mind about Kamala Harris. And this may be
- 11:05Speaker 3: her last best chance to get them on her side
- 11:08Speaker 3: of the equation and not go with the Republican nominee
- 11:11Speaker 3: for president.
- 11:12Speaker 1: So that's what it boils down to. That was coming
- 11:15Speaker 1: from CNN.
- 11:16Speaker 2: Look, they're saying that, hey, tonight's pretty much about Kamala Harris. Okay,
- 11:21Speaker 2: undecided voters dislike Donald Trump, right, Those that dislike him
- 11:26Speaker 2: and have made up their minds on him, they're over there.
- 11:29Speaker 2: But about half of undecided, on the other hand, want
- 11:32Speaker 2: to learn more about Harris, and Harris couldn't seize that
- 11:36Speaker 2: opportunity as what they saw, they didn't like what they saw,
- 11:39Speaker 2: they didn't like what was actually said. And I also
- 11:43Speaker 2: go back to this, I think the response the closing
- 11:47Speaker 2: argument from Donald Trump, if you were still watching the debate,
- 11:52Speaker 2: was a closing argument that really left you thinking in
- 11:56Speaker 2: your head. And Donald Trump should have used that moment
- 11:59Speaker 2: is closing argument during the middle, during the beginning, every
- 12:04Speaker 2: aspect of the debate should have been him asking this
- 12:07Speaker 2: question to the American people. Now, Thank goodness he did
- 12:09Speaker 2: at the end because it clearly had an impact with
- 12:12Speaker 2: the undecided voters that were watching. And what he said
- 12:15Speaker 2: was the simple question I've been saying over and over again,
- 12:18Speaker 2: are you better off now than you were four years ago?
- 12:21Speaker 2: And then he reminded people that if this is the
- 12:23Speaker 2: woman who's saying she's going to fix all your problems,
- 12:26Speaker 2: why hasn't she done it already while she is in power?
- 12:30Speaker 4: So she just started by saying she's going to do this,
- 12:32Speaker 4: She's going to do that, she's going to do all
- 12:34Speaker 4: these wonderful things. Why hasn't she done it. She's been
- 12:38Speaker 4: there for three and a half years. They've had three
- 12:41Speaker 4: and a half years to fix the border, they've had
- 12:43Speaker 4: three and a half years to create jobs and all
- 12:47Speaker 4: the things we talked about. Why hasn't she done it?
- 12:50Speaker 4: She should leave right now, go down to that beautiful
- 12:54Speaker 4: White House, go to the Capitol, get everyone together and
- 12:57Speaker 4: do the things you want to do. But you haven't
- 12:58Speaker 4: done it, and you won't do it because you believe
- 13:01Speaker 4: in things that the American people don't believe in. You
- 13:04Speaker 4: believe in things like we're not going to frack, we're
- 13:07Speaker 4: not going to take fossil fuel. We're not going to
- 13:09Speaker 4: do things that are going to make this country strong,
- 13:12Speaker 4: whether you like.
- 13:13Speaker 2: It or not.
- 13:14Speaker 4: Germany tried that and within one year they were back
- 13:17Speaker 4: to building normal energy plants. We're not ready for it.
- 13:21Speaker 4: We can't sacrifice our country for the sake of bad vision.
- 13:26Speaker 4: But I just ask one simple question, why didn't she
- 13:30Speaker 4: do it. We're a failing nation. We're a nation that's
- 13:34Speaker 4: in serious decline. We're being laughed at all over the world.
- 13:38Speaker 4: All over the world they laugh. I know the leaders
- 13:40Speaker 4: very well. They're coming to see me, they call me.
- 13:43Speaker 4: We're laughed at all over the world. They don't understand
- 13:46Speaker 4: what happened to us as a nation. We're not a leader.
- 13:49Speaker 4: We don't have any idea what's going on. We have
- 13:52Speaker 4: wars going on in the Middle East, we have wars
- 13:54Speaker 4: going on with Russia and Ukraine. We're going to end
- 13:58Speaker 4: up in a Third World War, and it'll be a
- 14:01Speaker 4: war like no other because of nuclear weapons, the power
- 14:04Speaker 4: of weaponry. I rebuilt our entire military. She gave a
- 14:09Speaker 4: lot of it away to the Taliban, she gave it
- 14:12Speaker 4: to Afghanistan. What these people have done to our country,
- 14:16Speaker 4: and maybe toughest of all is allowing millions of people
- 14:20Speaker 4: to come into our country. Many of them are criminals,
- 14:23Speaker 4: and they're destroying our country. The worst president, the worst
- 14:27Speaker 4: vice president in the history of our country.
- 14:31Speaker 2: That was probably what saved the night for Donald Trump,
- 14:35Speaker 2: and it reminded people that you just have to ask
- 14:39Speaker 2: yourself this question, are you better off now than you
- 14:43Speaker 2: were four years ago?
- 14:44Speaker 1: And who's in charge now? It is Kamala Harris.
- 14:47Speaker 2: So the idea that she's going to fix all of
- 14:49Speaker 2: your problems, why hasn't she done it yet? Why isn't
- 14:52Speaker 2: she doing what she claims she's about to do? And
- 14:56Speaker 2: what the voters were looking at was very different than
- 15:00Speaker 2: what the pundits were watching and looking at. The pundits
- 15:04Speaker 2: were looking at winning and losing. The voters, especially on
- 15:07Speaker 2: decided voters were looking at who's got a policy specifically
- 15:11Speaker 2: that is going to get me back to where I
- 15:13Speaker 2: wasn't living paycheck to paycheck, are constantly stressed out or
- 15:17Speaker 2: constantly feeling the pressure or constantly saying no to buying
- 15:21Speaker 2: basic things for my kids or my family.
- 15:24Speaker 1: That is what they were looking at.
- 15:28Speaker 2: There's also other things that really hit, and it hits
- 15:32Speaker 2: the day after the debate. The cost of Kamala is
- 15:35Speaker 2: a question that I think Donald Trump needs to be
- 15:38Speaker 2: bringing up more often. Stock market plunged after the president's
- 15:42Speaker 2: debate because of higher core inflation. Investors appeared to well
- 15:48Speaker 2: be worried of the risk that Kamala Harris could actually
- 15:51Speaker 2: win the presidential contest, sitting the major market indexes plunging
- 15:55Speaker 2: on the morning after the debate. Why they're worried if
- 15:59Speaker 2: this this woman gets an office with price controls and
- 16:02Speaker 2: all the other radical spinning ideas that she has, that
- 16:05Speaker 2: we're going to be in serious trouble. Harris also said
- 16:09Speaker 2: she would seek to hike a broad range of taxes
- 16:12Speaker 2: that is something many Americans can't afford, including taxes on
- 16:16Speaker 2: corporate profits, which would cost millions of jobs. She also
- 16:21Speaker 2: says she's going to come after unrealized capital gains. Many
- 16:24Speaker 2: believe that's actually unconstitutional, but she says, I don't care.
- 16:27Speaker 2: I'm gonna do it anyway. That would go after the
- 16:29Speaker 2: income of many Americans who are retired and many Americans
- 16:32Speaker 2: who have worked hard to save many investors in the
- 16:36Speaker 2: walls and Wall Street analysts think these taxes would weigh
- 16:40Speaker 2: extremely heavy on the stock market, which is exactly why
- 16:44Speaker 2: we saw it fall. So you look at this and
- 16:48Speaker 2: I take a step back, and I say, hey, the
- 16:51Speaker 2: pundits sometimes get it wrong. And pundits look at simple
- 16:55Speaker 2: things like who won who lost, right like we do.
- 16:58Speaker 1: We look at that. I'm one of them.
- 17:00Speaker 2: But after seeing the data, I'm not sure that this
- 17:05Speaker 2: debate win for Harris, and I do I will never
- 17:09Speaker 2: lie to you, guys. I think it was probably a win.
- 17:11Speaker 2: It was a three against one win for Harris. But
- 17:14Speaker 2: I do believe that this win for Harris is actually
- 17:18Speaker 2: not that big of a deal at all. Now, there's
- 17:22Speaker 2: also a third aspect of this campaign. In this election,
- 17:26Speaker 2: there's an X factor here, and that is a lot
- 17:29Speaker 2: of conservative women abandoned Donald Trump in the last election.
- 17:33Speaker 2: They were tired of the mean tweets, they were tired
- 17:36Speaker 2: of him just being incredibly blunt as he is. They
- 17:40Speaker 2: didn't like his demeanor, and they didn't vote for maybe
- 17:45Speaker 2: Joe Biden, but they just did. But they didn't vote
- 17:49Speaker 2: at all for a conservative candidate. That was a problem.
- 17:53Speaker 2: When you stay home and the other side doesn't stay home,
- 17:55Speaker 2: Guess what, they get a point, They get a vote
- 17:59Speaker 2: and you don't. So what does this mean for women? Well,
- 18:03Speaker 2: one of those women that I had that has a
- 18:05Speaker 2: very big audience is a dear friend of mine, Megan McCain,
- 18:08Speaker 2: that would be John McCain's daughter, and I wanted to
- 18:11Speaker 2: get her take on Donald Trump in this debate. Megan
- 18:15Speaker 2: I as soon as I saw this debate and I rapped,
- 18:20Speaker 2: I was like, I want to talk to you because
- 18:22Speaker 2: you warned everybody this is what you're going to get
- 18:25Speaker 2: when you go to ABC News. Were you shocked by
- 18:29Speaker 2: the bias aspect of the three on one as much
- 18:32Speaker 2: as I was, Like, I couldn't believe it from the
- 18:34Speaker 2: very beginning, like they were prepped and prepared to hammer
- 18:36Speaker 2: Donald Trump on anything they could, and they let Kamala
- 18:40Speaker 2: Harris get away with a significant number of lies.
- 18:44Speaker 5: So the only reason why I was surprised is because
- 18:48Speaker 5: I was expecting the last CNN debate to be really
- 18:52Speaker 5: biased and awful, and I actually thought Agana Bash and
- 18:54Speaker 5: Jake Tpper were very fair when they interviewed President Biden
- 18:58Speaker 5: and you know, President Trump in the last debate. So
- 19:01Speaker 5: I thought that like maybe there was a slight possibility
- 19:04Speaker 5: that you know, someone at ABC had seen that and
- 19:08Speaker 5: learned their lesson. And and you know, look, I hear
- 19:12Speaker 5: from my friends who still work at ABC, like their
- 19:14Speaker 5: ratings are down everywhere, like like significantly and historically down.
- 19:19Speaker 5: And I just know from my old show, like you know,
- 19:22Speaker 5: it's just it's just not where it once was. And
- 19:25Speaker 5: I thank you in no small part it's because conservatives
- 19:27Speaker 5: aren't watching and Republicans don't trust the network. And I
- 19:30Speaker 5: just think that I was, I was, I was really
- 19:34Speaker 5: taken aback just how egregious it was. And it wasn't
- 19:37Speaker 5: just a fact checking, It was the questions that were asked, Like, respectfully,
- 19:42Speaker 5: January sixth is a horrible day. We have litigated January
- 19:45Speaker 5: six into the ground. I have a good friend who
- 19:48Speaker 5: could not go on summer vacation this summer because her
- 19:51Speaker 5: family can't afford the groceries and the gas, and what
- 19:54Speaker 5: inflation is doing to her family. That is the kind
- 19:56Speaker 5: of questions that should have been asked really directly with
- 19:59Speaker 5: follow ups, Like I learned absolutely nothing from that debate
- 20:02Speaker 5: last night, and I also think no, Republicans need to
- 20:05Speaker 5: stop agreeing to this. We need to stop going on
- 20:08Speaker 5: these networks. There is no point. And I actually think
- 20:10Speaker 5: I was talking to a.
- 20:11Speaker 2: Friend this is this is where I'm so I love
- 20:15Speaker 2: the point that you just made, But then you would
- 20:17Speaker 2: have no debates, right because I.
- 20:20Speaker 5: Mean your venues.
- 20:23Speaker 1: So where explain? I'm intrigued.
- 20:26Speaker 5: Okay, so tell me if I'm crazy. I actually think
- 20:29Speaker 5: last night I was like if some if a network
- 20:31Speaker 5: or you know you or some you know, we don't
- 20:33Speaker 5: need these old platforms anymore. Like Megan Kelly is getting
- 20:36Speaker 5: like more like hundreds of millions of views on her
- 20:38Speaker 5: show this on YouTube than all of the network news
- 20:41Speaker 5: channels combined. I think if you said, Megan Kelly, Strala,
- 20:45Speaker 5: Mainma God and Joe Rogan, the three of you are
- 20:47Speaker 5: up and you're going to moderate this debate, and you're
- 20:49Speaker 5: going to take a bunch of questions from average Americans
- 20:51Speaker 5: that are not you know, shown in advance or screens
- 20:55Speaker 5: in advance. I bet you that people would do it
- 20:59Speaker 5: just for the public to be alone. Maybe Kamala Harris
- 21:01Speaker 5: wouldn't do it, But I just think the gatekeeping of
- 21:04Speaker 5: these very specific networks and these very specific moderators, they're
- 21:07Speaker 5: clearly not up to it. I wasted my time last night,
- 21:12Speaker 5: and you have young kids. I have young kids. It
- 21:14Speaker 5: starts a nine o'clock at night. I didn't go to
- 21:16Speaker 5: sleep till twelve thirty. I'm tired today, Like absolute waste
- 21:20Speaker 5: of mom and dad's times. Last night. I learned nothing
- 21:24Speaker 5: and it was just and then I'm sorry, But like
- 21:26Speaker 5: the Taylor Swift endorsement that happened right as soon as
- 21:29Speaker 5: the debate was over, and then the just self adulation
- 21:32Speaker 5: of so many quote unquote respected news journalists about a
- 21:36Speaker 5: pop stars endorsement, I also found just embarrassing.
- 21:39Speaker 2: And to me, it was so bad, and it was
- 21:41Speaker 2: obviously pre planned by the Harris Biden campaign, right it
- 21:44Speaker 2: was like, hey, we want you to do this right
- 21:46Speaker 2: after the debate. It's a great distraction point if we lose,
- 21:49Speaker 2: it's a great perk if we win.
- 21:51Speaker 1: You know.
- 21:52Speaker 2: And I also think this is where we are in
- 21:55Speaker 2: this country. I said earlier that it's amazing to me
- 22:00Speaker 2: that Americans get more in a tizzy over cats and
- 22:04Speaker 2: dogs missing, or you know, Canadian geese being you know,
- 22:09Speaker 2: walk down the street dead in the hands of a
- 22:11Speaker 2: Haitian that pictures out there, or the nine to one
- 22:14Speaker 2: to one phone call that I played this morning from
- 22:17Speaker 2: where this is all going on of a guy saying, Hey,
- 22:19Speaker 2: there's three guys that look like they're like Haitians that
- 22:22Speaker 2: are walking down the street now with ducks from the pond,
- 22:24Speaker 2: like this is insane. And we played the nine one
- 22:26Speaker 2: one call to prove that again. They said this never
- 22:29Speaker 2: happened on ABC last night. It absolutely is happening. Look
- 22:32Speaker 2: at the police reports and look at the nine one calls.
- 22:35Speaker 2: I think Trump should have been better prepared to respond
- 22:37Speaker 2: with that, and it would have been a great moment
- 22:39Speaker 2: for him.
- 22:39Speaker 1: He was not prepared for that.
- 22:41Speaker 2: But the part that irritates me the most, Megan, is
- 22:44Speaker 2: when did we like become so to eighty d as
- 22:47Speaker 2: a nation that average voters pay attention on this crap.
- 22:53Speaker 1: More than twenty million legal immigrants coming.
- 22:56Speaker 2: Across the border that are killing our kids with fetnel overdoe,
- 23:01Speaker 2: that are that are raping and killing children and women
- 23:07Speaker 2: killing American citizens, taking away our safety in the streets
- 23:13Speaker 2: like New York City where you used to live, where
- 23:15Speaker 2: seventy five percent of the crimes not being committed in
- 23:18Speaker 2: New York City proper are being done by illegal immigrants,
- 23:21Speaker 2: and no one gives a crap about that. But you
- 23:23Speaker 2: talk about a dog or a cat, or a goose
- 23:25Speaker 2: or a duck, and now everyone's paying attention.
- 23:29Speaker 5: Well, I actually think I give the American public credit
- 23:33Speaker 5: that I do think they're paying attention. And I do
- 23:35Speaker 5: think like the border wasn't even brought up last night.
- 23:37Speaker 5: Did anyone else notice that? I waska believe this hasn't
- 23:40Speaker 5: been a main issue, and we're spending And I was
- 23:42Speaker 5: actually really frustrated that President Trump didn't pushed back more
- 23:45Speaker 5: on the abortion question. Someone has got to get Vice
- 23:47Speaker 5: President Harris to answer at what week and what months
- 23:51Speaker 5: she thinks is enough for a late term abortion, because
- 23:55Speaker 5: we know the answer is probably like thirty seven weeks.
- 23:57Speaker 5: We know they're completely radical on it. I was disappointed
- 24:00Speaker 5: he didn't push back on it. I don't look, I
- 24:02Speaker 5: don't think he did a good job either. I was
- 24:05Speaker 5: very disappointed. Performance I agree with you that I thought
- 24:07Speaker 5: he took debate and there were so many opportunities to
- 24:09Speaker 5: push back on her just absolute radicalism. But I think
- 24:13Speaker 5: the American public are really savvy I think the American
- 24:15Speaker 5: public know that. It look even for me, it's like
- 24:18Speaker 5: I can't believe how much money I'm spending on groceries
- 24:21Speaker 5: every month. The average American is going to the grocery store,
- 24:24Speaker 5: is getting hit really hard with inflation, can't buy a house.
- 24:27Speaker 5: The American dream doesn't feel like it's the same as
- 24:29Speaker 5: it used to. I still think that a lot of
- 24:31Speaker 5: this could be not an illusion that's too strong. But
- 24:36Speaker 5: I don't know if who is buying this was Vice
- 24:38Speaker 5: President Harris other than the already converted like what independent
- 24:42Speaker 5: Lawler watched that last night and was like, you know what,
- 24:44Speaker 5: I was on the fence, but Vice President Harris was
- 24:46Speaker 5: a girl boss and now Taylor swifted indoors. I'm in, Like,
- 24:49Speaker 5: I just I don't think that person actually exists.
- 24:52Speaker 2: Yeah, I think it was a win for Harris last night.
- 24:55Speaker 2: I think Donald Trump lost the debate if it's just
- 24:58Speaker 2: a simple winner lose, but it, like you said, I
- 25:01Speaker 2: don't think it moved the needle that much because even
- 25:04Speaker 2: the undecided voters that were talked to on MSNBC and
- 25:07Speaker 2: CNN I played this earlier, they were like, the economy
- 25:11Speaker 2: still sucks and Donald Trump my life was better when
- 25:15Speaker 2: he was president. And that's the maybe the saving grace
- 25:18Speaker 2: for Trump in the debate, if you're his team, is
- 25:21Speaker 2: that things are so bad with inflation and the economy
- 25:25Speaker 2: right now, and and house the home, you know, is
- 25:28Speaker 2: unaffordability for example, that this is going to be a problem.
- 25:33Speaker 2: Your podcast, by the way, which you do, and everybody
- 25:36Speaker 2: listening you should download it, says to mccannon, it's amazing
- 25:39Speaker 2: you talk a lot about about women and women voters
- 25:43Speaker 2: and women issues, not twenty four to seven politics. When
- 25:47Speaker 2: you look at it through your audience. Do you think
- 25:51Speaker 2: your audience was really moved in either direction last night?
- 25:54Speaker 2: When you look at just average moms who are busy,
- 25:57Speaker 2: they have kids, they're not always paying attention tool it
- 26:00Speaker 2: takes like you and I do twenty four to seven.
- 26:02Speaker 5: No, but I have like eighty eight percent female audience,
- 26:06Speaker 5: and they tend to be overwhelmingly Christian conservative women. So
- 26:09Speaker 5: my audience is a lot like me. I think a
- 26:12Speaker 5: lot of women are really upset again. I've been seeing it,
- 26:16Speaker 5: just like Percoly on my social media channels too, like
- 26:18Speaker 5: people are really upset that no one's calling Vice President
- 26:21Speaker 5: Harris out on her extreme abortion stance.
- 26:23Speaker 1: I don't understand you do believe this is an election issue?
- 26:26Speaker 1: He should double down on this.
- 26:28Speaker 5: I just think someone should call her out on the
- 26:31Speaker 5: extremism of the left. I mean, and by the way,
- 26:33Speaker 5: her saying that she owns a gun, I need proof
- 26:36Speaker 5: of that. I don't believe it. That sounds like a
- 26:39Speaker 5: weird lie, Like, really, you're a gun owner, like in
- 26:41Speaker 5: the Bay Area, you were out shooting, like skeet shooting,
- 26:44Speaker 5: like with the rest of us. I just don't believe it.
- 26:46Speaker 5: I think I think women's issues are just human issues,
- 26:50Speaker 5: and I always think the loss tries to make it
- 26:52Speaker 5: it's just women only care about like you know, abortion
- 26:55Speaker 5: and girl boss stuff. And that's a fallacy that I
- 26:58Speaker 5: think completely revealed itself to go out the window in
- 27:01Speaker 5: the twenty fifteen election with Hillary Clinton. And I always
- 27:04Speaker 5: think that Democrats think that women are a monolith.
- 27:07Speaker 4: We're not.
- 27:08Speaker 5: You know, they're just as many pro life women as
- 27:10Speaker 5: they are a pro choice woman in the country. And
- 27:12Speaker 5: I just I don't know, but the messaging, Look, I'm
- 27:16Speaker 5: gonna tell you, I'm going to keep it real, Like
- 27:17Speaker 5: the messaging has been really bad. The Jenier gap is
- 27:19Speaker 5: really extreme in this election we have a fourteen point deficit,
- 27:23Speaker 5: and it's exhausting for people like you know, me and
- 27:25Speaker 5: Ali Bestucky and like women who do like really hard
- 27:28Speaker 5: work to get women in America to see why conservatism
- 27:31Speaker 5: is the right path for our country and our families,
- 27:34Speaker 5: and then to have like you know, Childless Cat Lady
- 27:36Speaker 5: be the talking point for months and months and months
- 27:38Speaker 5: because the media will jump all over it and it's,
- 27:40Speaker 5: you know, just a ridiculous thing to say. It's damaging.
- 27:44Speaker 5: It is find her workmate last night, Childless cat Ladies.
- 27:48Speaker 2: Yeah, no, it's You're absolutely right. Grab her podcast says
