- 0:01Speaker 1: Welcome.
- 0:01Speaker 2: It is vernic with center, Ted Cruz Ben Ferguson with you, Senator.
- 0:06Speaker 2: I think the big headline everybody knows what that is.
- 0:09Speaker 2: It is official. Matt Gates has formerly withdrawn his name
- 0:14Speaker 2: for consideration for the attorney general position in President Act
- 0:19Speaker 2: Donald Trump's incoming administration.
- 0:22Speaker 3: Well, that was stunning news that broke yesterday afternoon. I'll
- 0:26Speaker 3: tell you in the Senate, I don't think anyone expected it.
- 0:29Speaker 3: It came over the wire and it's a big deal.
- 0:33Speaker 3: The day before I had sat down and met with
- 0:35Speaker 3: Matt Gates. So I'm going to talk about that. I'm
- 0:38Speaker 3: going to talk about that nomination and what's coming next
- 0:40Speaker 3: for the Department of Justice. Additionally, this week we saw
- 0:44Speaker 3: the stunning news that the International Criminal Court, the ICC
- 0:47Speaker 3: has issued arrest warrants for the Prime Minister of Israel,
- 0:50Speaker 3: Benjamin Nett Yahoo and for the Israeli Defense Minister. That
- 0:54Speaker 3: this is an abomination, it is an attack on Israel,
- 0:57Speaker 3: it is an attack on America.
- 0:59Speaker 4: We're going to break it down.
- 1:00Speaker 3: We're going to break down what the response of the
- 1:02Speaker 3: federal government should be, what Donald Trump is going to
- 1:04Speaker 3: do about it, And we're also going to break down
- 1:06Speaker 3: how Joe Biden, Kamala Harris's weakness is what produced this abomination.
- 1:12Speaker 3: And finally we're going to talk about how so much
- 1:15Speaker 3: of the corporate media they're just losing their minds. We're
- 1:17Speaker 3: going to close with the View and the Herodins on
- 1:22Speaker 3: the View just just in absolute misery that Donald Trump
- 1:28Speaker 3: has been re elected, that he is going to be
- 1:30Speaker 3: the forty seventh president of the United States. And sadly,
- 1:34Speaker 3: it's a pattern we're seeing across the corporate media and
- 1:37Speaker 3: with elected Democrats where they learn nothing from the election
- 1:40Speaker 3: and their response is just absolute rage and despair.
- 1:44Speaker 2: Yeah, it is that audio. We're going to play it
- 1:47Speaker 2: for you a little bit. You don't want to miss it.
- 1:49Speaker 2: I want to talk to you real quick about the USCCA,
- 1:52Speaker 2: and if you carry a firearm, you need to be
- 1:54Speaker 2: a member of the us CCA. I carry a firearm
- 1:58Speaker 2: virtually everywhere I go, and protecting myself is my number
- 2:02Speaker 2: one priority in my family. I've had to use a
- 2:04Speaker 2: firearm to save my life when I was a victim
- 2:06Speaker 2: of a gun crime, and I wish I would have
- 2:09Speaker 2: been a member and known about the USCCA when that happened.
- 2:12Speaker 2: Now there's a reason why there's over eight hundred thousand
- 2:15Speaker 2: Americans that are members of the USCCA because not only
- 2:18Speaker 2: do you get access when you're a member to their
- 2:20Speaker 2: Protector Academy to learn skills like precision shooting and also
- 2:25Speaker 2: how to fortify your home against criminals, but you also
- 2:28Speaker 2: get access and this for me is the most important
- 2:31Speaker 2: to twenty four to seven critical Response team and the
- 2:35Speaker 2: included benefit of self defense liability insurance to make sure
- 2:40Speaker 2: you and your family are prepared for anything.
- 2:42Speaker 1: Every day.
- 2:43Speaker 2: There are law abiding citizens that have to use their
- 2:45Speaker 2: Second Amendment rights. You want to make sure you have
- 2:48Speaker 2: someone protecting you when you exercise those rights. And there
- 2:52Speaker 2: are a lot of activist das right now. They do
- 2:54Speaker 2: not like law abiding citizens carrying firearms, and that is
- 2:58Speaker 2: why the USCCA is so so important. Now here's the
- 3:01Speaker 2: other cool thing. For a limited time, If you text
- 3:03Speaker 2: the word America to eight seven two two two, that's
- 3:08Speaker 2: eight seven two two two, you're gonna get the uscca's
- 3:11Speaker 2: free Life Saving, Concealed Carey and Family Defense Guide. You're
- 3:16Speaker 2: also gonna get a chance to win seventeen hundred dollars
- 3:19Speaker 2: to buy any self defense gear that you need before
- 3:22Speaker 2: it's too late. So text the word right now America
- 3:25Speaker 2: to eight seven to two two right now?
- 3:29Speaker 1: All right? Senator. So you met with Matt Gates yesterday.
- 3:33Speaker 2: Less than twenty four hours later, Matt Gates has withdrawing
- 3:36Speaker 2: his nomination. Let's paint the picture for some of you
- 3:40Speaker 2: that listen to the show that say, how does this work?
- 3:43Speaker 2: Because it was an interesting meeting. The Vice President elect
- 3:46Speaker 2: was in the meeting as well. From what I understand,
- 3:47Speaker 2: he was walking around Capitol Hill with Matt. When you
- 3:50Speaker 2: when you see each other and you know both of
- 3:52Speaker 2: these men, how does it work? Does he come into
- 3:54Speaker 2: your office? Is just a three to close the door
- 3:56Speaker 2: and then walk us through how that meeting works?
- 4:00Speaker 4: Well?
- 4:01Speaker 3: In the in the past week, Matt Gates had met
- 4:04Speaker 3: with all of the Republicans on the Senate Judiciary Committee,
- 4:07Speaker 3: and and so he reached out, and his team reached
- 4:10Speaker 3: out asked for a meeting. Of course, we said yes,
- 4:13Speaker 3: And and so I met with Matt on on Wednesday afternoon,
- 4:19Speaker 3: early evening, and and the meeting. He was in the meeting,
- 4:23Speaker 3: and then Jade Vance was accompanying him to all of
- 4:26Speaker 3: those meetings as well. And and so we met actually
- 4:30Speaker 3: in a room in the Capitol that they were holed
- 4:32Speaker 3: up in a room in the Capitol, and and I
- 4:34Speaker 3: came and sat down and met with about a half
- 4:36Speaker 3: hour meeting. And it was a very positive and substantive meeting.
- 4:42Speaker 3: I will say I did not know Matt Gates. I've
- 4:44Speaker 3: I've met him I think once or twice before, basically
- 4:48Speaker 3: in a green room before going on a hit on Fox.
- 4:52Speaker 3: But but I'd never never had a conversation with him.
- 4:54Speaker 3: So so when I sat down to meet him, it
- 4:57Speaker 3: was the first time I'd ever had a substant conversation
- 4:59Speaker 3: with them. And and we had, as I said, I think,
- 5:02Speaker 3: a worthwhile conversation. Uh, the bulk of what what we
- 5:05Speaker 3: talked about is as I asked him, what what's your
- 5:08Speaker 3: vision for DJ. Look, I don't know that there is
- 5:11Speaker 3: a more important appointment that President Trump will make than
- 5:14Speaker 3: than the appointment to be Attorney general. And in particular
- 5:18Speaker 3: because under Joe Biden, the Department of Justice has been
- 5:22Speaker 3: so corrupted, so politicized, so weaponized, uh that that we
- 5:28Speaker 3: need a strong attorney general to come in and clean house,
- 5:31Speaker 3: to come in and restore integrity to the Department of Justice.
- 5:36Speaker 3: Uh that is not going to be an easy task.
- 5:38Speaker 3: And so much of what what I was asking him is, Look,
- 5:41Speaker 3: how do you get that done? How do you take
- 5:43Speaker 3: on the hardcore partisans that have burrowed into career positions
- 5:47Speaker 3: throughout d OJ.
- 5:48Speaker 4: How do you deal with that?
- 5:50Speaker 3: How do you ensure that that the Department of Justice
- 5:55Speaker 3: does what it is designed to do, which which is
- 5:59Speaker 3: to enform course the law, regardless of party. Let me
- 6:02Speaker 3: be clear, I don't want a Republican Department of Justice.
- 6:08Speaker 3: I don't want a Democrat Department of Justice. I want
- 6:10Speaker 3: a Department of Justice that enforces the law regardless of party.
- 6:14Speaker 3: And that is not an easy task. And so what
- 6:17Speaker 3: I was mostly doing is asking him, how would you
- 6:20Speaker 3: get that done? How would you take it on? What
- 6:21Speaker 3: in your background has prepared you to do that? What's
- 6:23Speaker 3: your vision? How would you execute it? I also asked
- 6:26Speaker 3: quite a few questions about Listen, President Trump has a
- 6:30Speaker 3: big and bold agenda, and he has a major mandate
- 6:34Speaker 3: from the voters on election day. As Attorney general, how
- 6:40Speaker 3: would you go about advising the president how to effectively
- 6:43Speaker 3: implement his agenda. Listen, everything the president tries to do
- 6:47Speaker 3: over the next four years, Democrats are going to sue him.
- 6:50Speaker 3: Blue states are going to sue him. Left wing attorney
- 6:52Speaker 3: generals are going to sue him. Special interest groups are
- 6:55Speaker 3: going to sue him. And so we need a Department
- 6:57Speaker 3: of Justice that is smart and savvy and knows how
- 7:01Speaker 3: to defend that litigation, knows how to prevail, and and
- 7:04Speaker 3: knows how to how to implement a litigation strategy that
- 7:09Speaker 3: that number one defends the policies of the president and
- 7:13Speaker 3: the administration. But number two, that that that has a
- 7:17Speaker 3: real vision, a real vision. Listen, this president was elected
- 7:21Speaker 3: with a mandate, among other things, to to rein in
- 7:25Speaker 3: out of control job killing regulations, to reign in the
- 7:29Speaker 3: administrative state. That is a major objective of President Trump
- 7:34Speaker 3: and this new administration. It's a major objective of mine.
- 7:37Speaker 3: And they're going to be big legal challenges to doing so.
- 7:39Speaker 3: And so so I think President Trump needs an attorney
- 7:43Speaker 3: general who can give smart, serious advice on on.
- 7:47Speaker 4: How to how to how to carry that out.
- 7:50Speaker 2: So when you when you have these conversations, did you
- 7:52Speaker 2: know that there was a chance that within twenty hours
- 7:56Speaker 2: of you having that meeting less than that that Matt
- 7:59Speaker 2: Gates is going to pull out? And what was the
- 8:01Speaker 2: word on Capitol Hill?
- 8:04Speaker 4: No idea at all?
- 8:06Speaker 3: And it was as I said, the meeting that I
- 8:09Speaker 3: had with him was very positive. And I came out
- 8:11Speaker 3: there are horder reporters that were in the hallway that
- 8:13Speaker 3: were waiting with bated breath, how the meeting go, How
- 8:17Speaker 3: the meeting go, and what I told them there is
- 8:20Speaker 3: I said, Look, it was a very productive meeting, and
- 8:22Speaker 3: I think Matt Gates is entitled to a full and
- 8:25Speaker 3: fair confirmation process.
- 8:27Speaker 4: He needs to have a hearing. He needs to have
- 8:29Speaker 4: a hearing quickly. We need to move.
- 8:30Speaker 3: The Senate needs to move expeditiously, move forward with a
- 8:35Speaker 3: confirmation of all of President Trump's cabinet members. That'll get
- 8:40Speaker 3: started that the hearings will get started early in January.
- 8:44Speaker 3: The hearings will get started actually before President Trump is
- 8:47Speaker 3: sworn in, because the new Senate we will be sworn
- 8:50Speaker 3: in at the beginning of January, so we'll have two
- 8:53Speaker 3: and a half weeks where the new Senate is in office,
- 8:56Speaker 3: but Trump has not yet been sworn in because he
- 8:58Speaker 3: doesn't become president until January twentieth. So we'll begin hearings
- 9:02Speaker 3: of major cabinet appointees starting in early January. You can't
- 9:07Speaker 3: vote them out of committee then because they're not formally
- 9:11Speaker 3: nominated until Trump becomes president and nominates them, So there
- 9:15Speaker 3: is a you can't confirm someone before they're nominated, but
- 9:18Speaker 3: you can do the hearing and you can get prepared
- 9:21Speaker 3: so as soon as they're nominated, you can vote and
- 9:24Speaker 3: confirm them.
- 9:24Speaker 4: And I think we need to move expeditiously to do that.
- 9:28Speaker 5: Uh.
- 9:28Speaker 3: But I got to say, on Thursday afternoon, when the
- 9:33Speaker 3: news broke, it was a complete surprise to me. I
- 9:36Speaker 3: think it was a surprise to anybody if anybody knew
- 9:38Speaker 3: about it. That they certainly didn't indicate that they did.
- 9:42Speaker 3: And it I you know, I found out over Twitter
- 9:44Speaker 3: it did just you know, Gates put out a statement
- 9:47Speaker 3: and you know, I was in in a meeting and
- 9:50Speaker 3: I got text. I got a text over the phone
- 9:52Speaker 3: that just sent me the Twitter statement. I was like, wow, okay,
- 9:55Speaker 3: And I think I think most most Senators were very surprised. Now,
- 10:02Speaker 3: my assumption is that Gates did so because he and
- 10:07Speaker 3: the team, the Trump team, perceive some real difficulties in
- 10:10Speaker 3: Senate confirmation. And there certainly have been multiple Senators who
- 10:16Speaker 3: expressed significant concern about Gates's background. I don't know if
- 10:20Speaker 3: he would have had the votes to be confirmed or not.
- 10:24Speaker 3: But his statement that he put out what it said,
- 10:29Speaker 3: And I'll just read the statement that Gates put out
- 10:31Speaker 3: on X He said, quote, I had excellent meetings with
- 10:34Speaker 3: senators yesterday. I appreciate their thoughtful feedback and the incredible
- 10:38Speaker 3: support of so many. While the momentum was strong, it
- 10:41Speaker 3: is clear that my confirmation was unfairly becoming a distraction
- 10:45Speaker 3: to the critical work of the Trump Vance transition. There
- 10:49Speaker 3: is no time to waste on a needlessly protracted Washington scuffle.
- 10:53Speaker 3: Thus I'll be withdrawing my name from consideration to serve
- 10:56Speaker 3: as Attorney General. Trump's DOOJ must be in place and
- 11:00Speaker 3: ready on day one. I remain fully committed to see
- 11:03Speaker 3: that Donald J. Trump is the most successful president in history.
- 11:06Speaker 3: I will forever be honored that President Trump nominated me
- 11:10Speaker 3: to lead the Department of Justice, and I'm certain he
- 11:12Speaker 3: will save America. So that was his statement, And as
- 11:16Speaker 3: I said, I think in particular, the timing was a
- 11:19Speaker 3: surprise to most, if not every senator.
- 11:23Speaker 2: When you look at moving forward politically, what is the
- 11:27Speaker 2: best move now for the president. Is that is to
- 11:29Speaker 2: take his time or do you expect we're going to
- 11:32Speaker 2: name pretty quickly, so you can move on from the
- 11:34Speaker 2: Gates story and say, hey, that's old news.
- 11:37Speaker 1: Let's go to the next thing.
- 11:38Speaker 2: I got to get somebody in there, because, as you mentioned,
- 11:40Speaker 2: this is a hearing for whoever the next nominee is
- 11:43Speaker 2: that needs to be on the books, and they need
- 11:45Speaker 2: to be having the meetings that you were literally having
- 11:47Speaker 2: twenty four hours ago.
- 11:50Speaker 3: Yeah, look, I expect they will move relatively quickly. I
- 11:53Speaker 3: will say, it's more important to get it right than
- 11:56Speaker 3: to get it super fast.
- 11:58Speaker 4: As I said, I don't know that there's a.
- 12:00Speaker 3: More important appointment that that that Trump will make that
- 12:03Speaker 3: than Attorney general, and and and it needs to be
- 12:06Speaker 3: a serious lawyer. It needs to be someone with integrity,
- 12:10Speaker 3: It needs to be someone with with legal savvy with
- 12:12Speaker 3: and it needs to be someone with with a steel backbone.
- 12:16Speaker 3: And and so look, there were multiple press reports of
- 12:19Speaker 3: of different people that Trump had interviewed that he was
- 12:22Speaker 3: looking at. One of the people who was reported in
- 12:25Speaker 3: the press reports is a guy named Bob Jeffra I know.
- 12:28Speaker 4: Bob very well.
- 12:29Speaker 3: Bob uh is the head of Sullivan Cromwell, which is
- 12:32Speaker 3: one of the biggest law firms in the country.
- 12:35Speaker 4: It's based in New York.
- 12:36Speaker 3: And and Bob is was a former law clerk to
- 12:40Speaker 3: Chief Justice William Renquist. And and and I've known Bob
- 12:43Speaker 3: for thirty years. And and he's a He's a smart,
- 12:45Speaker 3: serious lawyer who would certainly be up to the task
- 12:49Speaker 3: if if that's who Trump decided to nominate. That there
- 12:52Speaker 3: were other names that were tossed around. There was some
- 12:55Speaker 3: discussion about Mike Lee. I think Mike Lee would do
- 12:58Speaker 3: a terrific job. I don't think Mike is interested in
- 13:01Speaker 3: the job, but I think he'd he'd be terrific if
- 13:03Speaker 3: he was willing to do it. But I think what
- 13:05Speaker 3: is really important is that they get it right and
- 13:09Speaker 3: they appoint someone who is prepared to really turn around
- 13:16Speaker 3: the battleship that is the Department of Justice and bring
- 13:20Speaker 3: it back to what it's supposed to be.
- 13:22Speaker 2: I've got my short list and I'm looking over it.
- 13:25Speaker 2: And I was having this conversation earlier, all Right, what's next?
- 13:29Speaker 2: And I'm going to ask the question. And I think
- 13:31Speaker 2: the majority of people listening right now are thinking in
- 13:33Speaker 2: their head too, why not a guy by the name
- 13:36Speaker 2: of Senator Ted Cruz from Texas.
- 13:39Speaker 1: He's an attorney.
- 13:40Speaker 2: He knows the Constitution backwards and forwards, and maybe even
- 13:43Speaker 2: can write it in different languages. For goodness sakes, that's
- 13:46Speaker 2: how well you know it. And there are people that
- 13:48Speaker 2: are gonna be sitting here the same way. I am
- 13:50Speaker 2: going like this, scream Senator Ted Cruz, is your name?
- 13:56Speaker 1: Should that?
- 13:56Speaker 2: I mean, would you look at that if it was,
- 13:58Speaker 2: if it was a conversation? And because I have you
- 14:01Speaker 2: at the top of my list, not because I know you,
- 14:02Speaker 2: but because I think you could do the job incredibly well.
- 14:06Speaker 3: Well, look, it is certainly humbling to be discussed in
- 14:10Speaker 3: that context, and I appreciate it. I am not interested
- 14:14Speaker 3: in the job. I am going to stay right where
- 14:17Speaker 3: I am. I'm going to stay in the United States Senate.
- 14:19Speaker 3: As you know, I'm getting ready to be to the
- 14:20Speaker 3: chairman of the Senate Commerce Committee. You know, I just
- 14:24Speaker 3: got an incredible responsibility and mandate from the people of Texas.
- 14:29Speaker 3: Thirty million Texans made the decision to re elect me
- 14:32Speaker 3: and send me to the Senate to fight, and frankly,
- 14:35Speaker 3: I think in the US Senate. The Senate is going
- 14:38Speaker 3: to be the battlefield for many of the victories that
- 14:41Speaker 3: we need to win over the next four years. The
- 14:43Speaker 3: Senate is going to be the battlefield for securing the border.
- 14:48Speaker 3: The Senate is going to be the battlefield for cutting
- 14:50Speaker 3: taxes and simplifying the tax code. The Senate is going
- 14:52Speaker 3: to be the battlefield for repealing job killing regulations. The
- 14:56Speaker 3: Senate is going to be the battlefield for strengthening our
- 14:59Speaker 3: national security, standing with Israel, for defeating Hamas and Hesbela,
- 15:03Speaker 3: for standing up to China. And I think I am
- 15:08Speaker 3: frankly more needed in the Senate. I think I could
- 15:11Speaker 3: have a bigger and more lasting impact in the Senate.
- 15:14Speaker 3: And so I care intensely who's going to be Attorney General?
- 15:19Speaker 3: And I hope it is someone very strong, very capable,
- 15:21Speaker 3: And I fully expect to work closely with whomever Trump appoints.
- 15:27Speaker 4: But it ain't gonna be me.
- 15:29Speaker 2: Final question on this, and Matt deals with the other nominees.
- 15:34Speaker 2: What do you expect when it comes to meetings? I mean,
- 15:36Speaker 2: is it going to be locked and loaded with other
- 15:39Speaker 2: nominees or is this one still going to take president
- 15:41Speaker 2: if it's named quickly?
- 15:43Speaker 1: And how does that order of who you meet with? Work?
- 15:46Speaker 3: Well, it tends to vary committee by committee. So Matt Gates,
- 15:50Speaker 3: for example, was meeting with the Republicans on the Judiciary Committee.
- 15:54Speaker 3: And the reason is obvious, which is the Attorney General
- 15:57Speaker 3: goes first to the Judiciary Committee. The Judiciary Committee holds
- 16:01Speaker 3: the hearing, and then you have to be voted out
- 16:02Speaker 3: of committee, and then it goes to the floor of
- 16:04Speaker 3: the Senate. There are other people, for example, Pete Hegseth
- 16:08Speaker 3: has been nominated for Secretary of Defense. I assume Pete
- 16:12Speaker 3: is meeting with members of the Senate Armed Services Committee,
- 16:15Speaker 3: because Senate Armed Services Committee would be the committee that
- 16:18Speaker 3: would hold as confirmation hearings, and you naturally prioritize meeting
- 16:22Speaker 3: with members of the committee. So for each cabinet appointee,
- 16:26Speaker 3: that's going to be decided initially by what is the
- 16:29Speaker 3: committee of jurisdiction that will hold the confirmation hearing and
- 16:33Speaker 3: that will have oversight jurisdiction.
- 16:36Speaker 1: So for.
- 16:39Speaker 3: So for the Senate Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation,
- 16:43Speaker 3: we've got jurisdiction over a lot of the federal government.
- 16:46Speaker 3: The Secretary of Commerce will come before our committee, the
- 16:48Speaker 3: Secretary of Transportation will come before our committee. The chairman
- 16:52Speaker 3: and the commissioners of the FTC of the FCC, they'll
- 16:56Speaker 3: all come before our Committee. The administrator of the FAA,
- 17:00Speaker 3: administrator of NASA will come before our committee, and so
- 17:03Speaker 3: all of those various folks will naturally meet with members
- 17:06Speaker 3: of the Commerce Committee on Foreign Affairs. Marco Rubio has
- 17:10Speaker 3: been nominated to be Secretary of State, He's naturally going
- 17:14Speaker 3: to meet with members of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee.
- 17:16Speaker 3: Now that one's a little bit different because Marco's on
- 17:19Speaker 3: the Senate Foreign Relations Committee. So am I I know
- 17:22Speaker 3: Marco very well. We were sort of talking and laughing
- 17:24Speaker 3: about I mean, it's a different I think Marco's going
- 17:26Speaker 3: to be confirmed quite easily. That being said, they will
- 17:33Speaker 3: systematically initially meet with the Senators on the Committee of Jurisdiction,
- 17:38Speaker 3: and normally you meet with the other side as well.
- 17:40Speaker 3: Normally you meet with I would expect them to meet
- 17:43Speaker 3: certainly with the Democrats on the committee that has jurisdiction,
- 17:48Speaker 3: and then depending on the position, they will meet with
- 17:51Speaker 3: others as well. And so it's not it's not uniform.
- 17:56Speaker 3: Every cabinet nominee doesn't meet with all one hundred senators,
- 17:59Speaker 3: but on the degree of importance of the nomination and
- 18:04Speaker 3: who the individual senator is, if they have particular equities
- 18:07Speaker 3: or they're particularly involved in a subject matter, then there
- 18:11Speaker 3: would be those meetings as well, but that's on more
- 18:14Speaker 3: of an ad hoc basis.
- 18:15Speaker 2: I want to talk to you about our friends at
- 18:17Speaker 2: the IFCJ, the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews is
- 18:21Speaker 2: wishing you a blessed Thanksgiving as you gather with your families,
- 18:25Speaker 2: grateful for the blessings that God has given us all.
- 18:28Speaker 2: But let's also remember those who are facing unbelievable hardship
- 18:32Speaker 2: in need of food, fellowship, and hope. That includes the
- 18:36Speaker 2: people of Israel, who are threatened daily by attacks from
- 18:39Speaker 2: enemies now on all sides, and during these hard times,
- 18:43Speaker 2: Israelis are thankful for the Fellowship for food and basic assistance.
- 18:47Speaker 2: We're talking about truly life saving aid when the rest
- 18:50Speaker 2: of the world seems to have turned its back on them.
- 18:53Speaker 2: Your gift of twenty five dollars will help provide a
- 18:56Speaker 2: food box to an elderly Jew or a Jewish family
- 19:01Speaker 2: who are suffering an in desperate need. One hundred dollars
- 19:05Speaker 2: will help provide four of these life saving food boxes
- 19:09Speaker 2: this Thanksgiving. Please consider standing with Israel and the Jewish people,
- 19:14Speaker 2: and how do you do that by going to support
- 19:17Speaker 2: IFCJ dot org to make a gift right now that
- 19:22Speaker 2: support IFCJ dot org or you can call them and
- 19:26Speaker 2: give your gift over the phone eight eight eight four
- 19:29Speaker 2: eight eight IFCJ that's eight a eight four eight eight
- 19:34Speaker 2: four three two five eighty eight four eight eight IFCJ,
- 19:39Speaker 2: or go to support IFCJ dot org sentaer. I want
- 19:43Speaker 2: to pull an audible real quick, because I should have
- 19:45Speaker 2: mentioned this earlier. But as we were just talking about Israel,
- 19:49Speaker 2: the ICC issued an arrest warrant for Net and Yahoo
- 19:54Speaker 2: and glant and they also they're like, oh, yeah, we
- 19:58Speaker 2: threw in a hamask guide too, so it looks like
- 20:00Speaker 2: we're being equal here.
- 20:02Speaker 1: Uh.
- 20:02Speaker 2: This is a shocking attack by the ICC on net Yahoo,
- 20:07Speaker 2: and also one that makes it very tough for him
- 20:11Speaker 2: to travel more than likely the way he needs to
- 20:14Speaker 2: because of the threat of being arrested, for example, if
- 20:17Speaker 2: he is traveling to many parts of Europe.
- 20:20Speaker 3: Well, it is an absolute outrage and and the ICC
- 20:23Speaker 3: already had very very questionable legitimacy, but but with this decision,
- 20:28Speaker 3: the International Criminal Court has just become a kangaroo court.
- 20:33Speaker 3: And and and frankly, that's not fair to kangaroos. I mean,
- 20:35Speaker 3: I mean it is It is an absolute This is
- 20:38Speaker 3: a a political act of anti Israel hatred and and
- 20:44Speaker 3: anti Semitism that sadly infests so many of our international
- 20:48Speaker 3: institutions that that that that just hate Israel profoundly. And
- 20:54Speaker 3: I believe the United States we should impose sanctions on
- 20:58Speaker 3: every individual in in issuing this arrest warrant, from the
- 21:02Speaker 3: prosecutor to the judges, everyone involved. They should be sanctioned
- 21:05Speaker 3: by the United States government. We should also make clear
- 21:09Speaker 3: that we will sanction anyone who attempts to enforce this
- 21:12Speaker 3: arrest warrant. If you're a French prosecutor, be prepared to
- 21:16Speaker 3: have American sanctions put on you if you try to
- 21:21Speaker 3: enforce this utterly lawless.
- 21:25Speaker 4: Arrest warrant. And understand, the reason.
- 21:29Speaker 3: That the ICC did this is because of Joe Biden
- 21:31Speaker 3: and Kamala Harris's incredible weakness. Listen, the ICC has no
- 21:36Speaker 3: jurisdiction over Israel. Israel is not a party to the ICC.
- 21:39Speaker 3: It also has no jurisdiction over the United States of America.
- 21:42Speaker 3: And understand, this is a threat not just against Israel,
- 21:46Speaker 3: although it is very much that, but this is a
- 21:48Speaker 3: threat against America. This is a threat against the people
- 21:51Speaker 3: who hate America. Imagine these same bigots who hate Israel
- 21:55Speaker 3: how much they would love to issue an arrest warrant
- 21:58Speaker 3: for Donald Trump, for the Secretary of State or the
- 22:01Speaker 3: Secretary of Defense of the United States. And it is
- 22:03Speaker 3: only because Joe Biden and Kamala Harris are so weak
- 22:06Speaker 3: that the ICC felt empowered to issue this. It's not
- 22:10Speaker 3: an accident that this came out after the presidential election,
- 22:14Speaker 3: but before Trump was sworn in. That is when the
- 22:17Speaker 3: enemies of Israel and the enemies of America historically have
- 22:20Speaker 3: done some of the worst actions against the United States
- 22:24Speaker 3: and against Israel. It is when if you remember, at
- 22:30Speaker 3: the end of Obama, the last time we were in
- 22:32Speaker 3: this comparable moment, which is a democratic administration was ending
- 22:38Speaker 3: and Donald Trump was getting ready to be sworn in
- 22:40Speaker 3: as president. That would have been November and December of
- 22:43Speaker 3: twenty sixteen, right after the election. Obama was leaving. And
- 22:46Speaker 3: remember what the Obama administration did. They orchestrated UN Resolution
- 22:51Speaker 3: two three three four, which is one of the most
- 22:53Speaker 3: shameful resolutions ever to be voted on in the United Nations,
- 22:59Speaker 3: and the Obama administration it This resolution denounced much of
- 23:04Speaker 3: modern Israel as illegitimate and illegally occupied. It denounced the
- 23:10Speaker 3: Jewish Quarter of Jerusalem as illegitimate and illegally occupied. It
- 23:14Speaker 3: denounced the Whaling Wall in Jerusalem as illegally occupied and illegitimate.
- 23:20Speaker 3: And what happened is the Obama State Department orchestrated it.
- 23:25Speaker 3: They got others to push it, and they just stood
- 23:28Speaker 3: back and abstained. And I will tell you this week,
- 23:30Speaker 3: I had a classified briefing with Tony blink in the
- 23:33Speaker 3: Secretary of State, and I asked him very directly in
- 23:36Speaker 3: that briefing, is the Biden administration going to do the
- 23:42Speaker 3: same thing, Because last time y'all did that, it profoundly
- 23:47Speaker 3: hurt Israel. It was used by the enemies of Israel
- 23:50Speaker 3: to justify all sorts of targeting against the people of Israel.
- 23:55Speaker 3: And I'm very concerned the Biden administration is going to
- 23:58Speaker 3: try to orchestrate something similar. At the United Nations, we
- 24:02Speaker 3: had a vote this week that actually the Biden administration
- 24:06Speaker 3: blocked to their credit where the UN was trying to
- 24:09Speaker 3: call for an immediate cease fire of the war against Tamas,
- 24:13Speaker 3: but they did not include within it a demand that
- 24:15Speaker 3: the hostages be released, and the Biden administration vetoed it
- 24:19Speaker 3: without the hostages being released as part of the language.
- 24:23Speaker 3: But I'm worried in the next two months that they
- 24:26Speaker 3: will try to do something very similar to what happened
- 24:30Speaker 3: in December of twenty sixteen with two three thirty four.
- 24:35Speaker 3: And I think that this ICC arrest warrant is shameful.
- 24:39Speaker 3: I also think the incoming Trump administration is going to
- 24:42Speaker 3: stand very strongly against this absolutely disgraceful decision.
- 24:47Speaker 2: Thune came out and threatened the International Criminal Court with
- 24:49Speaker 2: sanctions if it doesn't drop the NETNA WHO warrant for rest.
- 24:52Speaker 2: But he also called on Schumer to not wait for
- 24:56Speaker 2: the Republicans to get in charge to do the right
- 24:59Speaker 2: thing and to do something now on this. He said,
- 25:03Speaker 2: if Majority Leader Schumer does not act, the Senate Republicans
- 25:08Speaker 2: majority will stand with our key ally Israel and make
- 25:11Speaker 2: this another supportive legislation a top priority in the next Congress.
- 25:15Speaker 2: Is there a chance that Schumer could actually lead on
- 25:18Speaker 2: this as Thum called on him to do, and said,
- 25:21Speaker 2: don't make us wait till January.
- 25:23Speaker 1: Do the right thing now for Israel.
- 25:26Speaker 3: I think the chances are virtually zero so the House
- 25:28Speaker 3: has passed legislation to do exactly that, and Schumer has
- 25:33Speaker 3: refused to take it up the Senate Foreign Relations Committee.
- 25:36Speaker 3: We have had legislation before us from Jim rish who's
- 25:39Speaker 3: getting ready to be the Republican chairman of the Foreign
- 25:42Speaker 3: Relations Committee, to do exactly that, to sanction the ICC
- 25:45Speaker 3: for doing this, and the Democrats have refused to take
- 25:48Speaker 3: it up. It's basically shut down the Foreign Relations Committee
- 25:51Speaker 3: for the last six months because the Democrats have blocked
- 25:55Speaker 3: legislation standing up to the ICC. And look that this
- 26:00Speaker 3: is on the unfortunate reality that in today's Democrat Party
- 26:05Speaker 3: there is a pro Hamas faction of the Democrat Party.
- 26:10Speaker 3: And I don't think that is hyperbole. It is tragically
- 26:13Speaker 3: the case. They are the ones cheering. We just had
- 26:15Speaker 3: votes this week that Bernie Sanders pushed on the floor
- 26:19Speaker 3: to cut off weapons to Israel, to cut off thirty
- 26:22Speaker 3: two thousand tank rounds to Israel, to cut off over
- 26:26Speaker 3: fifty thousand mortar cartridges to Israel, to cut off to
- 26:30Speaker 3: cut off the kits that are used to make precision bombs.
- 26:34Speaker 3: Now understand the argument of the leftist is that when
- 26:38Speaker 3: Israel is bombing Hamas, or Hesbelah, they accidentally have incidental
- 26:44Speaker 3: civilian casualties.
- 26:45Speaker 4: So what is their response.
- 26:47Speaker 3: Take away the ability to have targeted smart bombs, so
- 26:50Speaker 3: they can only drop dumb bombs that they can't steer.
- 26:52Speaker 4: The difference a precision bomb.
- 26:54Speaker 3: You can direct it, so you hit your target and
- 26:56Speaker 3: it's much less likely to have collateral damage. These left
- 27:00Speaker 3: I just hate Israel so much. They want to say, no,
- 27:02Speaker 3: let's take away your ability to target your weapons, so
- 27:04Speaker 3: we increase the number of civilians killed. And nineteen Senate
- 27:09Speaker 3: Democrats voted to cut off Israel's funds. That pro hamas
- 27:14Speaker 3: faction of the Democrat Party. Not every Democrat in the
- 27:17Speaker 3: House and Senate is a member of it, but just
- 27:20Speaker 3: about every single Democrat is terrified of that faction. And
- 27:24Speaker 3: it's why Schumer look that the internal the internal notes
- 27:30Speaker 3: from Columbia University when Columbia was having the anti Semitic
- 27:33Speaker 3: protest and the leaders of Columbia were talking to Schumer,
- 27:36Speaker 3: Schumer told them, don't worry about it. The Democrats, we
- 27:39Speaker 3: don't care. It's only the Republicans who care about this.
- 27:42Speaker 3: Understand what that admission was, and that was out of
- 27:45Speaker 3: Schumer's own mouth, that we the Democrats don't care about
- 27:50Speaker 3: violent anti Semites terrorizing students in Columbia University and other universities,
- 27:56Speaker 3: threatening Jewish students. It's not a priority for them. Why
- 28:00Speaker 3: because they're terrified by the Prohamas faction of the party
- 28:03Speaker 3: who supports the radicals and the anti Semites.
- 28:08Speaker 4: That is tragically where we are.
- 28:10Speaker 3: And so I'm going to predict we will take up
- 28:12Speaker 3: the legislation to sanction the ICC, and we will do
- 28:15Speaker 3: it early next year when we have a Republican Congress
- 28:19Speaker 3: and a Republican president. I don't even know that we'll
- 28:22Speaker 3: need that legislation though, because I expect the Trump administration
- 28:25Speaker 3: to act unilatterally. I think there's ample authority under the
- 28:28Speaker 3: law for them to act. Even if the Democrats filibuster
- 28:32Speaker 3: legislation to sanction the ICC, I think the president will
- 28:35Speaker 3: have ample authority to act come January twenty.

- 29:53Speaker 2: hit something else. That is I have to admit I
- 29:57Speaker 2: am enjoying this watching the liberal media melt now. The
- 30:01Speaker 2: View had an all time melted down about Donald Trump's win.
- 30:05Speaker 2: Joy Mayhar on the View said this to the audience,
- 30:09Speaker 2: take a listen.
- 30:10Speaker 5: Do you know what's in the air?
- 30:11Speaker 4: Whoopy?
- 30:12Speaker 5: What's sump is we lost the election? When at it
- 30:15Speaker 5: we lost the election. We're miserable. Half of this country
- 30:19Speaker 5: is miserable. And let's just tell the truth. We hate
- 30:22Speaker 5: that he won.
- 30:23Speaker 4: We hate.
- 30:28Speaker 2: I mean, I know we're all like Nazis, and I
- 30:31Speaker 2: know that we're all de plorables, and I know that
- 30:33Speaker 2: we're all floating garbage. But you would think they would
- 30:36Speaker 2: have learned from losing an election, and clearly they're not.
- 30:41Speaker 3: Look, I got to say, if Joy Behar is crying
- 30:45Speaker 3: on TV and is miserable and is unhappy, that's a
- 30:49Speaker 3: good day for America because her radical and extreme ideas
- 30:53Speaker 3: that that.
- 30:53Speaker 4: They're hurting the country.
- 30:55Speaker 3: And you know, that may be the most honest thing
- 30:58Speaker 3: she's ever said on the View, because she is a
- 31:01Speaker 3: hard leftist and and and notice she's learned nothing, She's
- 31:06Speaker 3: listened to nothing. There's no part nobody on that show
- 31:09Speaker 3: has stopped to say, wait, why did the American people
- 31:13Speaker 3: overwhelmingly reject our disastrous policy agenda. They're not asking that,
- 31:18Speaker 3: They're just mad at at at what they views as
- 31:22Speaker 3: the idiot voters. And listen, that's an arrogance that we
- 31:26Speaker 3: see in elected democrats. It's an arrogance we see throughout
- 31:29Speaker 3: the corporate media. Uh And and I think it's going
- 31:32Speaker 3: to it's going to fuel their their doubling down and getting,
- 31:37Speaker 3: if anything, even more extreme.
- 31:39Speaker 2: Yeah, I agree with you on the more extreme part.
- 31:42Speaker 2: They're certainly not learning from election Day. Don't forget we
