- 0:02Speaker 1: Y'all know what time of y'all don't know, y'all back
- 0:10Speaker 1: all suit on the back down, giving them more like
- 0:16Speaker 1: theming buck things in its tub. Y'all good it. Steve Hart,
- 0:24Speaker 1: listen to the movie together for study. I don't join
- 0:50Speaker 1: join me in doing me. Honey, you gotta turn you
- 1:25Speaker 1: gotta turn to turnow, got to turn out, turn the
- 1:47Speaker 1: water the water come come on your face. Uh huh,
- 2:02Speaker 1: I show well, good morning everybody. You are listening to
- 2:06Speaker 1: the voice, Come on dig me now, one and only
- 2:10Speaker 1: Steve Harvey got a radio show, Yeah man, got one. Hey.
- 2:15Speaker 1: You know, um, I thought I think of my life
- 2:18Speaker 1: in terms of blessings. You know, I take mostly a
- 2:21Speaker 1: positive approach and a positive spin to my life. I
- 2:25Speaker 1: hardly ever dwell on you know, the what's well. I
- 2:29Speaker 1: can't say that I don't think about the what's wrong
- 2:32Speaker 1: in it because I have to, because I have to
- 2:34Speaker 1: address problems as they arise. But I try not to
- 2:38Speaker 1: let them consume me. I let the consumption part be
- 2:42Speaker 1: about the blessings, the positive things that has occurred in
- 2:47Speaker 1: my life, the good things that God has done for me,
- 2:50Speaker 1: the power that He's displayed in my life, the protection
- 2:54Speaker 1: he's given me over the years to being tucked under
- 2:57Speaker 1: his wings. I focus on the things that he promises me.
- 3:02Speaker 1: I think of all all the goodness that I perceived
- 3:05Speaker 1: to come my way. I think that has a lot
- 3:08Speaker 1: to do with me learning more and more about the
- 3:10Speaker 1: law of attraction in terms of you know, what you
- 3:13Speaker 1: think and what you put out into space, and what
- 3:16Speaker 1: you pray about is what you receive, you know, and
- 3:19Speaker 1: so I've become better and better at that. It's not
- 3:23Speaker 1: to say that I'm I'm not human and I don't
- 3:25Speaker 1: have moments where I think a little bit too long
- 3:29Speaker 1: about what's going wrong and what enemy is about to
- 3:32Speaker 1: attack and what they're going to do and saying and
- 3:35Speaker 1: all of this is his. That's not to con say
- 3:37Speaker 1: that I'm not concerned about it. But I try to
- 3:40Speaker 1: duel mostly on the positive. And one of the things
- 3:43Speaker 1: that I learned, you can have an incredible life, all
- 3:47Speaker 1: of you, all of us. We can have incredible lives
- 3:52Speaker 1: if we just let God drive. See. The problem that
- 3:56Speaker 1: I had years ago was I was the driver of
- 4:01Speaker 1: my life, and I was taking myself into directions that
- 4:05Speaker 1: I thought would be best for me, and I aimed
- 4:08Speaker 1: at things that I thought I could accomplish, and I
- 4:12Speaker 1: set goals that I saw myself being able to attain.
- 4:17Speaker 1: I was driving when I gave up and I let
- 4:21Speaker 1: God drive. I then opened up my mind and my
- 4:25Speaker 1: spirit to what God had for me, For what God
- 4:30Speaker 1: could see for me, for what God could do in
- 4:33Speaker 1: my life, well, for what God wanted for me. Now
- 4:38Speaker 1: he wanted for me and he wanted of me. See,
- 4:43Speaker 1: that's the connection that you got to try to make.
- 4:46Speaker 1: Not try, that's the connection that you got to make
- 4:48Speaker 1: to really get it. Now, listen to me. What I
- 4:51Speaker 1: don't want you to do is do like me. Don't
- 4:53Speaker 1: be afraid of the what for of the what he
- 4:56Speaker 1: wants you to do part see, because that ain't gonna
- 4:59Speaker 1: be clearly as demanding and as offsetting as you think
- 5:03Speaker 1: it's gonna be. See. I thought that if I did
- 5:05Speaker 1: God's will, that if I let God tell me what
- 5:09Speaker 1: to do, that it would cause me to not to
- 5:11Speaker 1: be able to do a certain some things I wanted
- 5:14Speaker 1: to do well, which is true. But the stuff I
- 5:16Speaker 1: wanted to do was all detrimental to my well being
- 5:20Speaker 1: and my future and my growth and development as a man.
- 5:24Speaker 1: I was stopping my own growth as a man, because see,
- 5:27Speaker 1: I was doing what I thought I should do as
- 5:29Speaker 1: a man. But when you give it over to God,
- 5:32Speaker 1: to God has a much better plan for you than
- 5:34Speaker 1: you can ever have for yourself. And God knows a
- 5:37Speaker 1: better way, far better than the one you know. I
- 5:39Speaker 1: want you to believe that. Man, you gotta understand that
- 5:42Speaker 1: part of it. And that's the part that I finally
- 5:44Speaker 1: got through my head to let God do it his
- 5:47Speaker 1: way and to show me a better way, and to
- 5:50Speaker 1: teach me a better way and expose to me a
- 5:53Speaker 1: better way. And when I opened up my mind to
- 5:56Speaker 1: what God was talking about, I began to see things
- 5:59Speaker 1: totally differently, and things started coming to me totally differently.
- 6:04Speaker 1: If you've been a friend of mine or a fan
- 6:07Speaker 1: of mine over the years, I mean, you've had to
- 6:10Speaker 1: see it, the change. You've had to see the difference,
- 6:14Speaker 1: I mean, and I acknowledge that every chance I get,
- 6:17Speaker 1: because I promise God I would, and I hope that
- 6:20Speaker 1: I'm not falling short in that category. But then again,
- 6:24Speaker 1: if I told it all day long would he done
- 6:26Speaker 1: for me? I still wouldn't have enough time to really
- 6:29Speaker 1: explain thoroughly what He's done for me, because it's such
- 6:32Speaker 1: a continuous growth in me. But now that's not to
- 6:37Speaker 1: say that I'm finished or I'm done or I'm complete,
- 6:41Speaker 1: because I'm still short. And that's the cold thing about it. Man. See,
- 6:46Speaker 1: no matter how good you get at it, you ain't
- 6:48Speaker 1: gonna ever be the best you can be. You just
- 6:50Speaker 1: not because you're gonna fall short. You can't be him.
- 6:54Speaker 1: You can strive for perfection. I hear people saying it
- 6:57Speaker 1: all the time. I applaud you for saying you want
- 6:59Speaker 1: to be, but you ain't and you can't, and you're
- 7:03Speaker 1: not and you aren't and you won't and you will not.
- 7:08Speaker 1: So you quit saying it. You quit saying it to me,
- 7:10Speaker 1: quit saying it to other people. I'm seeking a life
- 7:13Speaker 1: of perfection, but it's something that you cannot have because
- 7:17Speaker 1: he said you can't do it. But that's what he'd
- 7:20Speaker 1: have for he'd have for the moments when you stumble
- 7:22Speaker 1: and you fall, and you go stumble and fall. So
- 7:25Speaker 1: you got to get that part right, man, to stumbling
- 7:27Speaker 1: falling part is coming. But see, you get God in
- 7:30Speaker 1: your life and it helps you so that you don't stumble, fall, wallow,
- 7:35Speaker 1: roll over, laid their languish. That's what God is for
- 7:39Speaker 1: so when you stumbling fall, you get back up because
- 7:43Speaker 1: you're going to make mistakes. You're going to get it wrong.
- 7:46Speaker 1: You're going to come under attack, You're going to be
- 7:50Speaker 1: lied about, You are going to be falsely accused. That's
- 7:53Speaker 1: going to happen to you the moment you make a
- 7:56Speaker 1: decision to do better, the moment you try to be more,
- 8:00Speaker 1: the moment you try to get it right. The devil
- 8:03Speaker 1: got to send his attackers man, and he controls certain people.
- 8:07Speaker 1: He just got people as on his side twenty four seven.
- 8:11Speaker 1: You know him too. You've all met one or two
- 8:13Speaker 1: of them in your life. They're just busy with the
- 8:16Speaker 1: business of nothingness. They're just busy about to do about
- 8:20Speaker 1: the destruction of others. You said, I know him, you
- 8:23Speaker 1: know him. They coming. But here's what you got to
- 8:26Speaker 1: hold fast too. They can't take away nothing from you
- 8:31Speaker 1: that God gave you. They didn't make you. See people
- 8:34Speaker 1: who claim to have made you, if they're so in
- 8:38Speaker 1: to make you business, why don't they make theirselves? Or
- 8:42Speaker 1: if they ain't with you no more? And they're so
- 8:44Speaker 1: busy in them I made you business, why don't they
- 8:47Speaker 1: make somebody else? Since since you want to get credit
- 8:50Speaker 1: from making somebody make yourself. If you're responsible for someone
- 8:56Speaker 1: else's success, then you should easily be able to take
- 9:00Speaker 1: I ain't even be responsible for your own success. See,
- 9:02Speaker 1: be careful of that, and don't and don't don't change
- 9:06Speaker 1: your course because somebody is attacking you with that. You
- 9:09Speaker 1: keep doing what you're doing. I just hope, man, that
- 9:13Speaker 1: I'm giving it to God the way I said I
- 9:15Speaker 1: would give it to him, that I would unload every
- 9:17Speaker 1: chance I got that I was supposed to without being
- 9:20Speaker 1: you know, or here he come again. You know. I
- 9:22Speaker 1: try not to be that, but man, I don't know
- 9:25Speaker 1: what else to be. For the first twelve minutes of
- 9:27Speaker 1: my show. What else you want me to say? I
- 9:29Speaker 1: got four hours. I can't give God twelve twelve minutes, man,
- 9:33Speaker 1: I mean, for real, Steve, come on, man, I mean,
- 9:35Speaker 1: let's look at this right here. It's like, oh, for example,
- 9:38Speaker 1: it's like detox in your body, which is one of
- 9:40Speaker 1: the most healthy things you can do for your body
- 9:42Speaker 1: is to detox your system and clean out the pipes
- 9:45Speaker 1: and the liver and the blood and get it all together,
- 9:47Speaker 1: give your kidneys a break in all like this. Okay, right, okay,
- 9:51Speaker 1: But to detox it properly. It takes twenty one days, right,
- 9:54Speaker 1: And I hear a lot of people telling about twenty
- 9:56Speaker 1: one days I ain't got. But see, hold up, man,
- 9:59Speaker 1: if the twenty one days out of three hundred and
- 10:02Speaker 1: sixty days a year, you ain't got twenty one to
- 10:06Speaker 1: straighten yourself out, you ain't got twenty one days to
- 10:09Speaker 1: give yourself a better shot at health. I mean, that's
- 10:12Speaker 1: crazy to me once you wrap your mind around it. See,
- 10:15Speaker 1: And so like, if you're give an honor to God
- 10:18Speaker 1: just twelve minutes out the day, dog, he gave you
- 10:21Speaker 1: twenty four hours of luxury in life and breath and
- 10:25Speaker 1: hope and promise, you ain't got twelve minutes to give
- 10:28Speaker 1: him out the day. That don't make no sense. What
- 10:31Speaker 1: an exchange, What a wonderful life God has given me
- 10:34Speaker 1: in exchange for so small of effort that I put forth.
- 10:38Speaker 1: Don't let the effort you got to put forth to
- 10:40Speaker 1: God seems so dawning that you don't attempt to do it,
- 10:42Speaker 1: because man, it seems like a lot. It ain't nothing
- 10:45Speaker 1: to compare to what he'd be given us for real.
- 10:47Speaker 1: So if you want a real life, you want a
- 10:49Speaker 1: real shot at what you can be, what you can have,
- 10:51Speaker 1: what you can own, what you can become who you
- 10:53Speaker 1: really are. Go to God, let him fix you. Man,
- 10:56Speaker 1: that's all you're listening to show. Ladies and gentlemen, let
- 11:03Speaker 1: me this is a special day. We have two special
- 11:09Speaker 1: guests on the show today, uh who just take off
- 11:13Speaker 1: when they want to because you know they always you know,
- 11:18Speaker 1: you know, I have said in the past that I
- 11:22Speaker 1: wouldn't hide no more people like this, but I just
- 11:24Speaker 1: keep doing it. So, ladies and gentleman, First of all,
- 11:28Speaker 1: Shirley Strawberry, Hey, good morning, Steve. Thank you dollar Colin
- 11:31Speaker 1: for Rell. Good morning Steve, such a wonderful woman. Thank
- 11:35Speaker 1: you so much for joining us. Now you till me.
- 11:38Speaker 1: How are you feeling today, Man, I'm in the building,
- 11:40Speaker 1: Big John, I'm good. Good. Now, I've just put it
- 11:44Speaker 1: out of order, so to speak, because I got to
- 11:45Speaker 1: introduce two people to you, Two people who are constantly
- 11:49Speaker 1: in competition with one another, Two people who refuse to
- 11:53Speaker 1: be outdone about one another if one do something to
- 11:57Speaker 1: other and try to top it. So, you know, Jay
- 12:00Speaker 1: decided he wasn't feeling good, so he asked for some
- 12:04Speaker 1: time off and I granted it. Junior got sick and
- 12:08Speaker 1: at excuse to pun So Junior decided he wasn't gonna
- 12:18Speaker 1: feel good either. So we had two things happened on
- 12:27Speaker 1: this morning show. I'd like to apologize for the listeners
- 12:30Speaker 1: that's been asking where has Jay Ben was? Jay is
- 12:32Speaker 1: here and for the past few days asking where has
- 12:36Speaker 1: Junior been? Well, damman, we don't know either. So we're
- 12:38Speaker 1: about to find out. Ladies and gentleman. We call them
- 12:42Speaker 1: as you would say to your dogs, sick them. We
- 12:46Speaker 1: call them the sick them boys because they will pull
- 12:49Speaker 1: on on you. How to know where ladies and gentlemen? Junior,
- 12:56Speaker 1: Ye ain't sick me? I see that Anthony brown Back.
- 13:06Speaker 1: I didn't know he was gonna come back that day.
- 13:08Speaker 1: Had I known he was coming back to day, I
- 13:09Speaker 1: would have waited another day. It would have been all me.
- 13:12Speaker 1: I didn't I didn't know I had to ship my
- 13:14Speaker 1: coming back. Yeah that's what I don't like. Yeah, yeah,
- 13:18Speaker 1: well you did, yeah, bitter man. Yeah, this with me
- 13:22Speaker 1: in the building. You ain't fitting out sick him. You're
- 13:26Speaker 1: not gonna out sick man. Did he know you were
- 13:29Speaker 1: coming back to day? Jay? He knew? I told him
- 13:32Speaker 1: when I was coming back. Hell yeah, he told me.
- 13:35Speaker 1: He called me and told me he was coming back.
- 13:37Speaker 1: I said, okay, well it won't. You're Junior's out. He said, well,
- 13:43Speaker 1: I told Junior I was coming back. I said, with
- 13:45Speaker 1: Junior is still gonna be out. Oh am, I surprised
- 13:50Speaker 1: Jake when you out last year doing the cruise. It
- 13:55Speaker 1: was Tommy, you always out doing the cruise. Was this
- 13:58Speaker 1: cruise time? Yeah? He was out. Do you think he
- 14:04Speaker 1: tried to stow away? That's why we're bringing it up.
- 14:11Speaker 1: I can't tell if you got a tan because he
- 14:14Speaker 1: two dogs. Welcome back, Jake, my buddy, you were definitely missed,
- 14:23Speaker 1: definitely missed. Yeah, man, you can take over one of
- 14:26Speaker 1: these shows. Man, all the time you didn't took off
- 14:30Speaker 1: here these two slow as people on this show. Coming
- 14:37Speaker 1: up at thirty two after the hour, parenting pressure and Challenges.
- 14:40Speaker 1: We'll talk about some of our issues right after this.
- 14:43Speaker 1: You're listening to show. Well, yesterday we got off the air, guys,
- 14:49Speaker 1: Um the morning crew had a long, long discussion about parenting.
- 14:54Speaker 1: We're all dealing with some sort of parenting pressure or challenge.
- 14:59Speaker 1: Each one of us are dealing with something. It is
- 15:02Speaker 1: dealing with something. Some of us are parents of millennials.
- 15:04Speaker 1: Carl and Tommy are parents of young children. So guys,
- 15:07Speaker 1: let's just talk about parenting pressures in the different ways
- 15:10Speaker 1: of parenting compared to how our parents raised us. All right, Steve,
- 15:14Speaker 1: you can go first. Well it's not much. We need
- 15:19Speaker 1: something to drink. Kids, what time it is? We need
- 15:27Speaker 1: something something? I'm with you, and then you just gonna
- 15:34Speaker 1: make me first. You don't even let me warm up.
- 15:36Speaker 1: I just said get more than After this, I'll be
- 15:40Speaker 1: wanting to say good night. Man. I'm so sick of
- 15:44Speaker 1: my damn kids. You know what it is, man, it's
- 15:47Speaker 1: not comparisons to how it used to be. It's just that,
- 15:50Speaker 1: you know, it frustrates you as a parent because, oh
- 15:54Speaker 1: my goodness, everything you pull into your kids and when
- 15:57Speaker 1: they move out to the the house they do something that
- 16:00Speaker 1: you distinctly remember telling them, don't do it to you. Yeah,
- 16:06Speaker 1: but and there is a thing in them that thinks
- 16:09Speaker 1: they know more than you. And now hit the ass
- 16:13Speaker 1: go when you put it like that, weren't we just
- 16:16Speaker 1: like that? Though? Don't give a damn if I was,
- 16:23Speaker 1: because I distinctly remember my mom telling me things and
- 16:26Speaker 1: me doing them anyway, thinking I knew everything. When I
- 16:29Speaker 1: turned eight. Kids are doing stuff as grown ups. Yeah. See, Sherley,
- 16:35Speaker 1: you're trying to change his question. We're talking about our
- 16:39Speaker 1: damn kids. But I just want to make sure that
- 16:42Speaker 1: base is covered. Timmy talking about his kids, I'm talking
- 16:46Speaker 1: about mind you talking about yours. Carlin gonna talk about hers.
- 16:49Speaker 1: The carl the only one got want to stay at
- 16:51Speaker 1: the house. Okay, First of all, you need to calm down.
- 16:54Speaker 1: I got to calm down because I am not your kid.
- 16:58Speaker 1: Let me say this. Let me say so, here's the
- 17:01Speaker 1: big problem that I had. They feel like it's this
- 17:06Speaker 1: sense of entitlement, like like I owe you something. Yes,
- 17:10Speaker 1: that's what bothers me, like I owe you like but
- 17:14Speaker 1: not only do you think I owe you something? You
- 17:16Speaker 1: don't want to take direction from me, but you still
- 17:19Speaker 1: want me to give you something. That really gets me
- 17:22Speaker 1: is the phrase you haven't done anything for me. That's
- 17:25Speaker 1: when that's when you n want to snap. Every time
- 17:28Speaker 1: the phone rings, it's not HI, how are you mom?
- 17:32Speaker 1: It's mom? I need gas? Mom? Uh? I mean are
- 17:37Speaker 1: you answering the phone? Because you never know? You gotta
- 17:40Speaker 1: answer it if your kids call you. Guys, don't answer
- 17:43Speaker 1: the phone when your kids called, stop my mama. Yeah,
- 17:47Speaker 1: I have to answer it. Yeah I have to answer it.
- 17:50Speaker 1: But yeah it's so you have to. Yeah, I play
- 17:58Speaker 1: and call all. It won't it's if I feel like
- 18:04Speaker 1: I should have had a son. Huh Right, And Shirley,
- 18:08Speaker 1: here's the thing. You call your son and he don't
- 18:11Speaker 1: answer the phone that you bought, you pay for you pay,
- 18:15Speaker 1: I'm not asking your damn calling, or you ain't ready
- 18:20Speaker 1: to come over here calling. You'll be here in a
- 18:22Speaker 1: co few years. You ain't ready for this. And I
- 18:24Speaker 1: keep getting I know, mom, I know, mom, I know Mom.
- 18:28Speaker 1: I know Mommy, I know I know Mom. Over don't know,
- 18:33Speaker 1: you don't How the hell could you? Guys? I know,
- 18:37Speaker 1: I know, I know Mommy, I get that. I'm gonna
- 18:42Speaker 1: do you get this or there you go with dad?
- 18:44Speaker 1: Oh you got to bring that up again. Okay, you
- 18:46Speaker 1: don't bring that up again. Well, what are some of
- 18:50Speaker 1: the issues though, that you guys like, compared to when
- 18:54Speaker 1: we were kids, Like, the problem is we ain't whooping
- 18:57Speaker 1: they asked the way we got that's the problem. Yeah,
- 19:00Speaker 1: that of course, And they didn't work as hard as
- 19:03Speaker 1: we worked. They just didn't right, And social media, you
- 19:06Speaker 1: got he is the core of what has happened. Shirley's
- 19:10Speaker 1: absolutely right. Social media has a lot to do with it it.
- 19:12Speaker 1: We're gonna talk about that in a second. All of
- 19:15Speaker 1: us have worked very hard to give our children a
- 19:18Speaker 1: better life than the one web, and in that it
- 19:23Speaker 1: created a level of comfort that we didn't ever have
- 19:27Speaker 1: growing up. And it created a level of expectation that
- 19:32Speaker 1: we didn't have growing up, and a sense of entitlement.
- 19:37Speaker 1: And they just have not had to work near as
- 19:40Speaker 1: hard to get the simple things that we got because
- 19:44Speaker 1: we gave it to Steve, I asked my daughter, Okay,
- 19:49Speaker 1: I'll just say this quickly. I asked my daughter when
- 19:51Speaker 1: she was getting her car, what kind of car does
- 19:54Speaker 1: she want? She said, a Range Rover. She did not blink,
- 19:58Speaker 1: she did not you know what, what did you say? Yeah? Well,
- 20:06Speaker 1: I think whatever problem they're in, whatever financial problem they're in,
- 20:13Speaker 1: to solve, it doesn't involve work. It's a phone call away. Yes,
- 20:17Speaker 1: how am I gonna get out of this? Right? Let
- 20:19Speaker 1: me just let me just that's exactly right. That's exactly right.
- 20:25Speaker 1: And like I always say to people, what money does
- 20:28Speaker 1: is having money makes all emergencies become mere inconveniences, And

- 31:05Speaker 1: with some saying the celebs or parents to look up to. Wow,
- 31:10Speaker 1: that's nice. Yeah, that's their son. Yeah. They do seem
- 31:14Speaker 1: like very loving parents, especially little baby they have and
- 31:18Speaker 1: everything very loving. All right. I can't say nothing about
- 31:23Speaker 1: it because I'm still mad at my damn boys by
- 31:26Speaker 1: asking for that damn Cadillac Escalator, that twenty whatever it's
- 31:33Speaker 1: still burning. Damn Cadillac escal ain't working nowhere. Talking about
- 31:41Speaker 1: a damn Cadillac escalator felt yeah, you you you you what? Tim?
- 31:49Speaker 1: I'm glad you didn't buy it? Did you buy? That's
- 31:53Speaker 1: too much? Yeah, that's too much. You got in trouma
- 31:58Speaker 1: asking for bust them when we would come out, Wow,

- 32:30Speaker 1: Alice and Jerry Books. Yeah, we were really raised different
- 32:34Speaker 1: these kids today, that is for sure. In other entertainment news,
- 32:38Speaker 1: Solange has canceled her performances at Coachella. Uh you know, um,
- 32:43Speaker 1: the music festival tweeted due to major production delay, Solange
- 32:47Speaker 1: will unfortunately no longer be performing. She sends her sincerest apologies.
- 32:52Speaker 1: Coachella is a major festival. It's had held outside of
- 32:55Speaker 1: Los Angeles, um over two weekends in the California desert.
- 32:59Speaker 1: This year. A headliners are Ariana Grande and Childish Gambino
- 33:03Speaker 1: Kanye West will bring his gospel choir to Coachella for
- 33:06Speaker 1: a special outdoor Easter Sunday Sunrise service. So um in
- 33:11Speaker 1: the in this particular story, she didn't say why, but um,
- 33:15Speaker 1: we understand her band is sick. Yeah, her a lot
- 33:19Speaker 1: of members of her band, uh was sick. And so
- 33:22Speaker 1: she I think it's like the last weekends and a start.
- 33:29Speaker 1: They're at the end of ye, it starts this weekend,
- 33:33Speaker 1: well and the next weekend and the SMA one drum
- 33:38Speaker 1: out here. There's got to be some en. She wants
- 33:43Speaker 1: to do it with a pin night quill. She wants
- 33:45Speaker 1: to do with the people. She's comfortable with them. Sure,
- 33:49Speaker 1: replacing them, she said, I mean she's an artist, by
- 33:52Speaker 1: the way. Yeah, yeah, she's an artist. Yes she is.
- 33:54Speaker 1: And so you know, in her own right little track,
- 33:57Speaker 1: let's do the track. Get the track you're listening to.
- 34:03Speaker 1: Felicity Huffman has pled guilty in the college admission scandal.
- 34:07Speaker 1: Felicity Huffman, fifty six of Los Angeles, paid Rick Singer
- 34:11Speaker 1: fifteen thousand dollars to rig her daughter's SAT test. The
- 34:14Speaker 1: girl had twice the amount of time as normal to
- 34:17Speaker 1: take the exam, and the proctor corrected her answers. Afterwards,
- 34:22Speaker 1: she released a statement Felicity did saying I accept full
- 34:25Speaker 1: responsibility for my actions and will accept the consequences that
- 34:29Speaker 1: stem from those actions. She continued, I am ashamed of
- 34:33Speaker 1: the pain I have caused my daughter, my family, my friends,
- 34:36Speaker 1: my colleagues, and the educational community. And as for sentencing,
- 34:42Speaker 1: no word yet. But what she did does carry some
- 34:45Speaker 1: jail time up to twenty years, possibly a day injured
- 34:50Speaker 1: the prosecutor's office, the prosecutors want them to do prison time,
- 34:55Speaker 1: but it's the judge's call. We all know that. But yeah,
- 34:59Speaker 1: who judge in the day? Is it the one Trump
- 35:02Speaker 1: just put in there? Who judge? This ain't no Supreme Yes,
- 35:05Speaker 1: it hasn't gone all the way up there, Tommy. Like
- 35:09Speaker 1: I said, the maximum sentences twenty years. The judge has
- 35:13Speaker 1: the final say. So. Laurie Laughlin Becky of course from
- 35:16Speaker 1: full House and Fuller House and her husband were not
- 35:19Speaker 1: part of that plea deal. So this so so she
- 35:25Speaker 1: took a plea deal. Felicity did guilty. Well, hold up now,
- 35:31Speaker 1: I mean what I'm asking is it a plea deal
- 35:33Speaker 1: or she played guilty? She played guilty, all right, so
- 35:37Speaker 1: now they have to determine you know what, she what
- 35:40Speaker 1: her outcome will be. Okay, so she's she's opted not
- 35:44Speaker 1: to go to trial. It sounds like she played guilty
- 35:47Speaker 1: and she's waiting to see what her sentence. But yeah,
- 35:50Speaker 1: that's yeah, punishment will be he and now the prosecutor
- 35:55Speaker 1: has recommended time twenty years. They want her to do
- 35:58Speaker 1: some time. It is up to the judge. Yeah, man, y'all,
- 36:05Speaker 1: I can promise you ain't but my child that that
- 36:08Speaker 1: couldn't well, you know the part that gets me understand
- 36:14Speaker 1: that you want your child to have a better life.
- 36:16Speaker 1: You want your child in top quality schools. Here's the problem.
- 36:21Speaker 1: If your child doesn't qualify in the normal route to
- 36:25Speaker 1: get into them top level schools, how's your child gonna
- 36:29Speaker 1: get that in the school and compete? That's the part
- 36:31Speaker 1: our daughter. So if you got to buy this test,
- 36:35Speaker 1: these results, how many more tests you're gonna have to pay?
- 36:37Speaker 1: Because a ain't the hard part. The hard part is
- 36:41Speaker 1: all them classes, Yes, four years of classes. You know
- 36:45Speaker 1: how much money you're gonna have to spend. Well, but
- 36:48Speaker 1: if you're giving money, they don't care if you go
- 36:50Speaker 1: to class or not. You're past you go now that
- 36:55Speaker 1: you set a mouthful right there, Jay, that is the
- 36:57Speaker 1: absolute truth. And I mean, look at all the people
- 37:00Speaker 1: have who weren't caught, who have degrees and all this stuff.
- 37:02Speaker 1: You know, all right, we're moving on coming and I
- 37:05Speaker 1: didn't get called augated degree. Coming up at thirty four
- 37:14Speaker 1: after the hour, R Kelly is open to a follow
- 37:17Speaker 1: up interview with Gail King. Robert, what he going back? Robert,
- 37:23Speaker 1: you're listening. Well, if you had any doubts about R.
- 37:28Speaker 1: Kelly being delusional, get this okay. He actually thought the
- 37:32Speaker 1: interview he did with Gayle King was good for his image.
- 37:36Speaker 1: Do I need to repeat that? R Kelly actually thought
- 37:41Speaker 1: that the interview he did with Gail King was good
- 37:43Speaker 1: for his image. Did he see it? Was he there
- 37:46Speaker 1: all right? In fact, he's actually considering doing a follow
- 37:49Speaker 1: up with Gail King? Gail said, yeah. Gail said she
- 37:53Speaker 1: reluctantly called his team after the interview aired to see
- 37:57Speaker 1: how they were feeling about it. They were like, look,
- 37:59Speaker 1: we're so glad you called. They were really pleased, she said.
- 38:02Speaker 1: They thought people got to see how passionate he was,
- 38:05Speaker 1: they got to see his pain, and maybe they got
- 38:08Speaker 1: to look at it in a different way. You know what,
- 38:14Speaker 1: he's gonna do what he gonna mess and talk his
- 38:17Speaker 1: ass right into prison. Because man, if you thought that
- 38:21Speaker 1: was a good interview, man, it's something wrong with you.
- 38:24Speaker 1: It's it's really man. And he's he's got bad people
- 38:27Speaker 1: around him. Because if if you think another interview, another
- 38:32Speaker 1: follow up interview, see your passion. Brother, I'm telling you, man, somebody,
- 38:38Speaker 1: somebody's advising him all wrong now, and and he's done
- 38:41Speaker 1: some things that's that's crazy too. Now, so you've done
- 38:45Speaker 1: some things that's crazy. You're being accused of something that's crazy.
- 38:48Speaker 1: And then your interview was crazy. Well, he doesn't see
- 38:52Speaker 1: it that way, Steve with you, hey, man, let me
- 38:56Speaker 1: tell you what's gonna happen, man, And really, man, they're
- 39:00Speaker 1: gonna end up in a trial because he's not gonna
- 39:02Speaker 1: take a plea and he's gonna go up on the
- 39:05Speaker 1: stand in his own defense because he has that type
- 39:09Speaker 1: of mindset and it's gonna be lights out, manow all right, Well,
- 39:14Speaker 1: one more thing. Steve R. Kelly did a paid club
- 39:18Speaker 1: gig in Springfield, Illinois over the weekend, or Springfields Illinois
- 39:23Speaker 1: as he called it. Yeah, apparently it was. It was
- 39:26Speaker 1: lined up back in December before the Surviving R Kelly
- 39:29Speaker 1: document aired. Documentary documentary aired. Sources say the tickets were
- 39:35Speaker 1: originally one hundred dollars but dropped to fifty dollars. Only
- 39:39Speaker 1: about fifty people showed up. R Kelly was social media.
- 39:42Speaker 1: Was on social media before his club gig asking the
- 39:45Speaker 1: media to take it easy on him. Take a listen, yo,
- 39:48Speaker 1: this ship boy calls and I got an event to
- 39:51Speaker 1: do tonight in Springfield, Illinois. So I want the media
- 39:55Speaker 1: to take it easy on me. Man. This is how
- 39:57Speaker 1: I got to get paid now for right now. So
- 40:00Speaker 1: I gotta go do this event. And it's a party.
- 40:03Speaker 1: So when you see me in the club with a
- 40:05Speaker 1: couple of drinks in my hand and chilling, please take
- 40:09Speaker 1: it easy, appreciate it, y'all. Thanks. Yeah wow, Yeah, yeah,
- 40:21Speaker 1: that's where we've come down to, Robert. It ain't nobody
- 40:25Speaker 1: in his camp. There's nobody where is y'all? Come on, dog? Yeah?
- 40:33Speaker 1: Yeah no, the noted blank you ain't that dude? You? Yeah? Yeah? Who?
- 40:44Speaker 1: He needed social media? Who filmed it and who posted
- 40:50Speaker 1: him with? Yeah? Say that, but you're asking. I mean, man,
- 40:56Speaker 1: I don't understand that I really really don't. Something's wrong, man,
- 41:01Speaker 1: I mean, well, I'm not well, I know something's wrong,
- 41:04Speaker 1: but I mean, man, you you know, it's the only
- 41:08Speaker 1: way I got to make money right now, smashing y'all,
- 41:11Speaker 1: you know, take it easy. Oh man, gonna have a
- 41:13Speaker 1: couple of drinks in my hand. Okay, fifty people, m
- 41:17Speaker 1: fifty people, Yeah, at fifty dollars at times, y'all stand
- 41:21Speaker 1: out with fifty people in there? You want just fifty
- 41:26Speaker 1: times fifty twenty five? Yeah? Wow. Well he's currently free
- 41:34Speaker 1: on a million dollars bail after being indicted on criminal
- 41:37Speaker 1: sex abuse charges with underage girls back in February. So yeah, wow,
- 41:43Speaker 1: where's this going? Man? Yeah, yep. I just can't believe
- 41:50Speaker 1: he thought that interview with Gail went well. And I
- 41:54Speaker 1: can't believe another yea. Yeah. Let me tell y'all some mote.
- 41:59Speaker 1: I'm so glad you called Kale. I still had Biga knights,
- 42:02Speaker 1: and some of the knights I have had to Jay's body.
- 42:06Speaker 1: Oh my god, Oh my god. All right, I'm next.

- 52:12Speaker 1: hold on tight, we gotta put you here. It is
- 52:14Speaker 1: Toberry Letter subjects subject turned on and off at the
- 52:21Speaker 1: same time. Dear Stephen Shirley. I am in my early
- 52:25Speaker 1: forties and I've been happily married and faithful to a
- 52:28Speaker 1: wonderful man for nine years. My husband says he likes
- 52:31Speaker 1: the fact that I am a wonderful mom and wife,
- 52:34Speaker 1: and I keep it classly classy until I am behind
- 52:37Speaker 1: closed doors and I turn into his super freak. The
- 52:42Speaker 1: last two years, my sex drive has been in overdrive.
- 52:46Speaker 1: My cravings for sex drive me so crazy that I
- 52:49Speaker 1: have left work to meet my husband at home during
- 52:51Speaker 1: the day so I could get some relief. The thing is,
- 52:55Speaker 1: my husband does not share my sudden urges to have
- 52:58Speaker 1: sex all of the time. He usually he's usually tired
- 53:03Speaker 1: after work and wants to cuddle, but that's it. To me.
- 53:06Speaker 1: That is selfish and a complete turn off. So I
- 53:09Speaker 1: end up pleasing myself while I fantasize about other men
- 53:13Speaker 1: and women that have flirted with me. Yes, other men
- 53:16Speaker 1: and women flirt with me regularly, but I haven't entertained
- 53:19Speaker 1: any of their at any of the advances because I
- 53:22Speaker 1: value my marriage and I love my husband. In addition
- 53:26Speaker 1: to always wanting to have sex, I am constantly watching
- 53:30Speaker 1: porn now, and it's a problem because I have started
- 53:33Speaker 1: comparing sex with my husband to what I see in videos.
- 53:36Speaker 1: I am starting to get bored all together with my husband. Lately,
- 53:40Speaker 1: nothing he does really turns me on. I only get
- 53:44Speaker 1: turned on from my fantasies. I have come clean with
- 53:47Speaker 1: my husband about the porn and my desire to be
- 53:49Speaker 1: even freakier than we already are. My husband says that
- 53:53Speaker 1: there may be something wrong with me, but he's not
- 53:56Speaker 1: interested in a threesome or swinging, so I need to
- 54:00Speaker 1: had some help. Isn't he supposed to help me work
- 54:02Speaker 1: through these types of issues so I won't cheat on him?
- 54:05Speaker 1: How do I think? How do you think I should
- 54:07Speaker 1: handle this? Please advise? All right, you might be a
- 54:13Speaker 1: dream wife to some guys, you know, you might be
- 54:17Speaker 1: a dream and then some like your husband, he might
- 54:21Speaker 1: think that something is wrong. You know, I think you're
- 54:26Speaker 1: going really really fast here. You just said you're happily
- 54:29Speaker 1: married to a wonderful man. Then two paragraphs down you're
- 54:32Speaker 1: calling him selfish and a complete turn off. This is
- 54:36Speaker 1: your issue. You know the fact that you're in your
- 54:39Speaker 1: forties and you're at your sexual peak. I mean, that's
- 54:43Speaker 1: what happens to women. So you can't blame your husband
- 54:47Speaker 1: if he's not quite there or not there at all.
- 54:50Speaker 1: Your marriage needs to make these necessary adjustments. Yes, a
- 54:54Speaker 1: lot of marriages have one partner wanting it more than
- 54:59Speaker 1: the other. So you got to make some sort of
- 55:01Speaker 1: adjustment and come meet in the middle somewhere. You just
- 55:05Speaker 1: have to Instead of seven times a day, seven days
- 55:08Speaker 1: a week, you gotta narrow that down where you both
- 55:10Speaker 1: can get something out of it. The poorn situation here
- 55:14Speaker 1: could very well be a problem. You wanting to swing
- 55:17Speaker 1: and have threeesoms. That is going to be a problem
- 55:21Speaker 1: in this marriage because your husband is not on that
- 55:24Speaker 1: same thing. You gotta sit your husband down. You guys
- 55:27Speaker 1: need to talk about this situation before it really gets
- 55:31Speaker 1: out of hand. All right, Steve All, it's already out
- 55:35Speaker 1: of here here it is. It's already turned on and
- 55:41Speaker 1: off at the same time. Well, you ain't talking about
- 55:44Speaker 1: your husband, or aren't you, because you ain't turned on
- 55:47Speaker 1: by him no more. You just turned off what you
- 55:52Speaker 1: turned on by some other things. Let's get into the metal.
- 55:57Speaker 1: The last two years sex driveing in overdrive for them.
- 56:00Speaker 1: You gotta have it all the time. You didn't left
- 56:03Speaker 1: your work to meet your husband and off during the day,
- 56:05Speaker 1: so I could get so relieved. Now in order for
- 56:09Speaker 1: your you to go home, your husband he got drive
- 56:11Speaker 1: home too, So now he just going back at forth.
- 56:15Speaker 1: Y'all got two cards just burning up games. Now he's
- 56:18Speaker 1: looking at the money side of it too, probably and
- 56:22Speaker 1: it ain't add enough. The thing is, my husband does
- 56:24Speaker 1: not share my sudden urges to have sex all the time.
- 56:30Speaker 1: He's usually tired after work. You know that's what people
- 56:32Speaker 1: do when they get home work. Do you know they
- 56:35Speaker 1: be tired? They just be tied because they've been at work.
- 56:41Speaker 1: Most people tied when they get home from work. It
- 56:45Speaker 1: can happen. And he just want a cud because he tied. Now,
- 56:50Speaker 1: you didn't set up here and said to me that's
- 56:52Speaker 1: selfish and a complete turn off. Hell, he has a
- 56:55Speaker 1: turn off, especially if you turned on it, you little
- 56:57Speaker 1: red hot firecracker. All of a sudden, you're just up
- 57:01Speaker 1: in here. You've been the perfect wife, and all of
- 57:03Speaker 1: a sudden you're a little freak, and all of a
- 57:04Speaker 1: sudden you freak everywhere because now I guess what you're doing.
- 57:08Speaker 1: You end up pleasing yourself while fantasizing about other men
- 57:12Speaker 1: and women that have flirted with me. Yes, other men
- 57:17Speaker 1: and women. I heard you. You didn't have to repeat
- 57:20Speaker 1: it twice, but I'm glad you did. So now you
- 57:23Speaker 1: want us to know that everybody, won't you except him? Hum,
- 57:29Speaker 1: now we're moving into the direction. Now, So now you're
- 57:33Speaker 1: fantasizing about men and women. You're all over the place.
- 57:35Speaker 1: He he didn't know this, you know, you know, when
- 57:38Speaker 1: you've been married for nine years, faithful, he ain't know
- 57:42Speaker 1: nothing about this other side you developed into this person.
- 57:45Speaker 1: Oh could it have been that you've done some of
- 57:49Speaker 1: this in your past and then you got married and
- 57:53Speaker 1: shield out and it all came back, Old Crocker. Oh,
- 57:58Speaker 1: you see what I'm saying. It then all came back.
- 58:02Speaker 1: I don't know if these are brand new thoughts. I
- 58:06Speaker 1: think this is something that's been buried deep in your
- 58:09Speaker 1: psyche all along, because now you're looking at everybody. But
- 58:16Speaker 1: I haven't entertained in the advances because I value my
- 58:21Speaker 1: marriage and I love my husband. But you are entertaining
- 58:24Speaker 1: them though. You just said you was pleasing yourself fantasizing
- 58:28Speaker 1: about other men and women. What you what you think
- 58:30Speaker 1: it's going to go? Huh? You thank you for to
- 58:34Speaker 1: leave all this in your head. You think that you're
- 58:38Speaker 1: Finn to just keep fantasizing about these other men and
- 58:41Speaker 1: these women, and he still ain't with it, and you
- 58:44Speaker 1: think that it's gonna stay right there. In addition, I
- 58:47Speaker 1: always want to have sex. I'm constantly watching pawn now,
- 58:51Speaker 1: and it's a problem because I've started comparing sex with
- 58:53Speaker 1: my husband when I see in videos were he ain't
- 58:55Speaker 1: in the video because your husband ain't a pawn star,
- 59:00Speaker 1: he ain't wild thing. Yeah, he ain't thunder the Plumber,
- 59:10Speaker 1: he ain't the route the root of mad. Come on here, boy,

- 59:21Speaker 1: We'll have part two of your response coming up in
- 59:24Speaker 1: twenty three after the hour. Today's Strawberry Letters subject turned
- 59:29Speaker 1: on and off at the same time. We'll get back
- 59:32Speaker 1: into it right after this. You're listening, all right, Steve,
- 59:38Speaker 1: Let's recap today's Strawberry letter and get to your part
- 59:41Speaker 1: two subject turned on and off at the same time. Yeah, yeah, lady, yeah,
- 59:49Speaker 1: and here you are. Here, you are forty. Then turn
- 59:53Speaker 1: into a little miss hottie all of a sudden, Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 59:58Speaker 1: now you miss hottie. Now you got to have it
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: all the time. Your man don't want it all the
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: time because he's coming into work and it turns you off.
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: Can he tie now to turn you off? Time you
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: start pleasing yourself with poorno or is that right now?
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: And now you fantasigning about the other men and women
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: that hit on you all the time. So you think
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: you fine to everybody, everybody but your man. So now
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: you're man. Now you try to tell me that you
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: ain't entertained any these advances because I value my marriage
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: and I love my husband. But you have entertained them.
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: It's called fantasize it. So you entertaining all the men
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: and the women that hit on you. Now you just
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: have been a pleasure in yourself. Ain't that wrong with it?
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: But that's what you're doing. Yeah. The in addition, I
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: always want to have sex. I'm watching pawn now and
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: it's and it's a problem because I just started comparing
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: sex with my husband. What I see in how to
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: told you your husband ain't in the video. He ain't
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: thought with the big hamlet. Yeah he ain't, ye man, Yeah, here,
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: he ain't none of these he ain't none of these.
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: He ain't Captain Marvel. Yeah, coming up in there with
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: a shielding. He ain't spider Man swinging from building the building,
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: scooping down, getting your weab, getting you tangled up in it.
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: He ain't none of that. He ain't Batman with you.
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: He ain't just popping stuff up around his way. Try this,
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: look at this. We want to see that. Watch this,
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: hold this, touch that, put your leg over the squeeze that,
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: press this button, watch this, shut that swing up, watch
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: this ship Bam boom bam. You ain't getting none of that.
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: You ain't getting none of that. Yeah, so now you
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: know he ain't to hunk. Oh, he ain't the big
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: green man strong he heard calag He ain't sam He
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: ain't even about Samson. He ain't. He won't even be
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: David with a little sling shot coming here and kill
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: a giant. He ain't none of that. Now you're at
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: the house with the direct opposite. I want to cuddle. Now.
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: You hurt. You hurt now because your husband ain't what
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: you see in them damn video. You get turned on
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: from my fantasy. I've come clean with my husband about
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: the point and my desire to even be freakier than
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: we already are. So now you've retching this to your husband.
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: He's sitting there looking at you like you're crazy because
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: that your husband said that they may be something wrong
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: with you and he's not interested in a threesome all swinging.
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: So now you didn't want to tell your husband that
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: you wants a threesome? Nolen't talk about that in it.
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: But the swinging though, the swinging mean y'all gonna get
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: another couple? And why he would huh you with him? Oh? Stop,
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: hold on, wait a minute, somebody about to come and
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: get it. Then you got sold, opnosist. See NW, you
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: have introduced it. You have introduced a duntry into the relationship.
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: You want to call in swing now see you two
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: while it is something wrong with you? But why this
- 1:03:28Speaker 1: swinging come from? Yea? Now, now let's get back to
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: the threesome because that's now you talking about another woman
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: in the room. You're gonna introduce that into your marriage?
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: You really you really want to try that? Ain't threesome?
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: You got to be talking about another Well, y'all't just
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: saying I'm saying you gotta be talking about another What
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: you can't do and bring somebody else in here? That's
- 1:03:59Speaker 1: un zipping and they passed. That can't happen. You know
- 1:04:04Speaker 1: you're you're awaking to bear hill le Now you don't
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: winner head high to dude from the point on video.
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: Now he in here three times the man, I am
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: we're not fitting to have that here and Hill curtis
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: standing over that nket looking like I can't do that myself.
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: Thank you, Thank you so much, sir. We do our jobs,
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: and you know you might be all right. I ain't
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: saying you ain't blessed. I ain't saying your husband ain't blessed,
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: but you know he could be, you know, like Oscar
- 1:04:41Speaker 1: my boy. But then you know you're winning there and
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: bought somebody in this house that you know what that
- 1:04:48Speaker 1: standing on there like he holds a canna air freshness.
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: See them two different peoples. Now, whoa you got Oscar
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: my boy? Over there? You got glade man, and on
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: the other hand, something to happen. I'm just saying I
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: ain't saying nothing. Ain't being graphic. You can read what
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: you want to read into it. Man, Now, isn't he
- 1:05:11Speaker 1: supposed to help me work through these types of issues,
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: help you with some more damn people? Ain't nobody fitting
- 1:05:17Speaker 1: to do that so I won't cheat on him. You
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: all ready and cheated on him. You've already suggested that
- 1:05:24Speaker 1: you bring another person in and y'all cheat together. How
- 1:05:28Speaker 1: do you think I should handle this? Please? Advice? You'venna
- 1:05:31Speaker 1: lose your manage. That's what you're finn to do, and
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: that's what you're finn to do because you're finna introduced
- 1:05:37Speaker 1: something to the game that he don't want, and that's
- 1:05:41Speaker 1: what you're fit to do. Your wild thing. You go ahead,
- 1:05:47Speaker 1: you don't just got real tricky all of a sudden.
- 1:05:50Speaker 1: Now I would like to come back and do a
- 1:05:51Speaker 1: reenactment because back is here, because Jay is back. Yeah,
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: and if he can remember, he's supposed to give me
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: a chance to talk to and to reenact miss out.
- 1:06:08Speaker 1: I'm I'm just saying away for a long time. And
- 1:06:13Speaker 1: the obviously he ain't been telling jokes. So now he's
- 1:06:16Speaker 1: gonna come and try to dominate and ain't gonna let
- 1:06:18Speaker 1: the hoof or say nothing. Pat King, alright, already know
- 1:06:23Speaker 1: how you do re enact me? That's why I don't
- 1:06:24Speaker 1: ask for him much. Well, come on with yeah, all right,
- 1:06:28Speaker 1: this is a news start all right. Look it looks

- 1:06:58Speaker 1: and Off at the same time. Here it is Jay
- 1:07:01Speaker 1: is wanting more and I want things to stay the
- 1:07:03Speaker 1: way they are. Right, actor, could you get that hot
- 1:07:08Speaker 1: breeze off the stove and come up there and take
- 1:07:10Speaker 1: your shirt off on to show you something? All right, baby,
- 1:07:13Speaker 1: I'm here. What's happening? Well, it's just not it's not
- 1:07:16Speaker 1: freaky enough, you know. I want I want thankings and
- 1:07:20Speaker 1: the heart like you're angry at me. I want I
- 1:07:25Speaker 1: want thankings. No, wait a minute. Last week, we had,
- 1:07:30Speaker 1: you know, a filming going on in here, and I said,
- 1:07:34Speaker 1: I didn't want to do that, but I let you
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: sit there. I let you I saw you at the
- 1:07:37Speaker 1: tripod and I helped you set it up. And now
- 1:07:40Speaker 1: you're talking about bringing what you you want some grease.
- 1:07:44Speaker 1: I want hot grease, not just regular baby looks somebody
- 1:07:51Speaker 1: gonna get hurt. That's what all the damn grease. And
- 1:07:56Speaker 1: then a week before that, what what okay, what did
- 1:07:59Speaker 1: you do with the monk? The monkey was very disobedient.
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: I mean, he didn't play along with what we was
- 1:08:05Speaker 1: trying to do. Well, he's a monket baby, what you
- 1:08:07Speaker 1: expect him to do? Holo jazz? But it was something
- 1:08:11Speaker 1: I wanted, and well we tried to get it, and
- 1:08:14Speaker 1: I bought the monkey. Now the monkey didn't work out.
- 1:08:17Speaker 1: So now with okay, okay, so right here, like I
- 1:08:21Speaker 1: know this, I know this is sudden that I think
- 1:08:23Speaker 1: if you went got the monkey again and we could
- 1:08:26Speaker 1: talk to him and explain what we're into. Now, that's
- 1:08:29Speaker 1: the same thing you had in there when I bought
- 1:08:32Speaker 1: all that bunney for it. Now, I bought the bunney
- 1:08:34Speaker 1: for there, and you asked me for that, and and
- 1:08:38Speaker 1: and then and then we had the bunnet for meetings
- 1:08:40Speaker 1: in there, and next thing I knew we had it
- 1:08:42Speaker 1: was just it was just baby all all over. You
- 1:08:44Speaker 1: went all out. But I just you know, it really
- 1:08:47Speaker 1: made me feel bad about it. I had to think
- 1:08:49Speaker 1: about all the bunnies whose tails you ripped off. Just hey, baby,
- 1:08:59Speaker 1: listen to me. I'm gon just tell you right now,
- 1:09:01Speaker 1: distant just got way out of hand. You ain't never
- 1:09:03Speaker 1: been this wild before. What's her name? Whose name? Your wife? Oh?
- 1:09:08Speaker 1: I thought you were talking about that. I thought I
- 1:09:09Speaker 1: thought you talking about the mornket name was a boy
- 1:09:14Speaker 1: and the boy name Cheetah? Your name? What's her name?
- 1:09:19Speaker 1: Lou Sender? That's my name? Don't wear it out? How
- 1:09:28Speaker 1: can I see? I need you to just, you know,
- 1:09:31Speaker 1: dig down into your nastiness. That's what I need you
- 1:09:38Speaker 1: there you go, ce Ce Lou Senders? Where's all this
- 1:09:41Speaker 1: nasting this coming from? See? You've been in there watching
- 1:09:43Speaker 1: the Point No movie? And I told you I don't
- 1:09:46Speaker 1: do all that. You're just doing too much. Now now
- 1:09:50Speaker 1: now we already in here. You know you wait, ain't
- 1:09:52Speaker 1: what it was? You broke a pool t I know,
- 1:09:55Speaker 1: I know, kid can't shoot pool no more? And broke
- 1:09:59Speaker 1: dawn pool ten. We didn't. Then then you saw that
- 1:10:01Speaker 1: other video from that girl off that housewife show and
- 1:10:04Speaker 1: you tore all the shower rows down. It look like
- 1:10:09Speaker 1: a fun thing to do. That's oh, it looked fun.
- 1:10:12Speaker 1: But I'm telling you you you got a little more
- 1:10:14Speaker 1: weight on it than that girl. Did you absolutely mad?
- 1:10:17Speaker 1: So it would just take more stove grease. He did
- 1:10:21Speaker 1: have a perfect temperature. Do you rub all over and
- 1:10:25Speaker 1: spank me hard? That's not much, but see that going
- 1:10:29Speaker 1: along with it, you know weak fold last when you
- 1:10:31Speaker 1: had we was in the bath flom and you had
- 1:10:33Speaker 1: your head. Me stick my foot in the toilet and
- 1:10:36Speaker 1: keep flushing it. And I was trying that and that
- 1:10:43Speaker 1: was crazy. Man, my pull my foot out. My foot
- 1:10:45Speaker 1: looked like a prune. It's all shrive them up. I
- 1:10:50Speaker 1: didn't like that. I didn't had my foot in that
- 1:10:51Speaker 1: toilet that kept flushing over and over and over because
- 1:10:53Speaker 1: you like to sound rushing water. The one time, I
- 1:10:56Speaker 1: really have to thank you for really going all out
- 1:10:58Speaker 1: for me and I know it's uncomfortable, but you did
- 1:11:01Speaker 1: it because you care. You put cotton candy all over
- 1:11:05Speaker 1: your body and it was It was amazing. It was amazing.
- 1:11:11Speaker 1: Way to play the game. Actor participate boy, Lucindy, you
- 1:11:15Speaker 1: saw mel digit getting out of hand. Now, now let
- 1:11:18Speaker 1: me tell you something. I already told you what I
- 1:11:20Speaker 1: go do next week. We're supposed to take the week. Also,
- 1:11:22Speaker 1: I give myself together, because you know, I told you
- 1:11:25Speaker 1: I want to get myself together. So then you're gonna
- 1:11:27Speaker 1: come in here and you out and already ordered the
- 1:11:31Speaker 1: stuff for next week. What you got, I got the
- 1:11:33Speaker 1: little kids red wagon that I'm bringing in. We're gonna
- 1:11:38Speaker 1: we're gonna be in here with a little red wagon
- 1:11:40Speaker 1: and out and hide two little people. So good. Now,
- 1:11:46Speaker 1: I don't know what we've been doing here with the
- 1:11:50Speaker 1: two little people and this day red wagon with the
- 1:11:53Speaker 1: gay tony. Now I'm trying to rest up for that.
- 1:11:58Speaker 1: Ain't a girls steamer up? Don't get steaming him? Because
- 1:12:03Speaker 1: I hired them two little people from what's that TV
- 1:12:06Speaker 1: show with the women? Yeah, yeah, yeah, I had a
- 1:12:13Speaker 1: little I hired them from Little People, Big World next
- 1:12:19Speaker 1: week to see how your game is. Okay, well, okay,
- 1:12:22Speaker 1: I'm just telling your baby, let me slow some of
- 1:12:24Speaker 1: it down. And what I cannot hear you doing it
- 1:12:26Speaker 1: introducing other peoples in him, because I don't. I don't
- 1:12:30Speaker 1: don't do all that. Oh I don't really like the people,
- 1:12:35Speaker 1: you know, and the monkeys. I can deal with the monkeys.
- 1:12:38Speaker 1: And we had a chicken in him last month. That
- 1:12:41Speaker 1: chicken was a lot dumber because they kept packing all
- 1:12:45Speaker 1: the wrong places. Ou, I said the head boy, you
- 1:12:49Speaker 1: need to get your head weight from him. Willing to try, Lucinda,
- 1:12:54Speaker 1: I'm willing to try. Due, willing to try. Tell you
- 1:12:58Speaker 1: what they ain't gonna have what you asked me for?
- 1:12:59Speaker 1: Land What was that shot? Can't come up right now?
- 1:13:06Speaker 1: That's how you draw the line. Well, we're drawing damn
- 1:13:08Speaker 1: line right here. He's gonna being here there taking and
- 1:13:12Speaker 1: doing what you want to do. I can't control the shot.

- 1:14:08Speaker 1: have had it. You know, been a rough year for Texas.
- 1:14:11Speaker 1: So just hanging there. I'm from Cleveland, deal with it,
- 1:14:16Speaker 1: you know. Yeah, I mean it was a good game
- 1:14:18Speaker 1: they played, man, just wasn't meant to be no Virginia one.
- 1:14:26Speaker 1: Yeah they had it, Yeah, they had it. Well I
- 1:14:29Speaker 1: can't say they had it because if they had it,
- 1:14:31Speaker 1: they'd have had it. They had they have it. Dog,
- 1:14:37Speaker 1: if they had it, they'd have had it. They didn't
- 1:14:40Speaker 1: have it. No, they ain't have it. You know, they played. Man,
- 1:14:45Speaker 1: we had it, we'd have had it. We didn't have it. Yeah,
- 1:14:48Speaker 1: you know, and I don't really see no one play
- 1:14:51Speaker 1: that did it. I didn't. You know, they chanced to
- 1:14:54Speaker 1: win it in the corner it got blocked. That was great,
- 1:14:57Speaker 1: d you know, he took the shot that he's supposed
- 1:14:59Speaker 1: to take. But it was crazy. Man. But like I'm
- 1:15:04Speaker 1: gonna tell you something, man, like where okay, okay, man,
- 1:15:07Speaker 1: where was the game played at Minnesota? Because man, when
- 1:15:12Speaker 1: when when Virginia won, it didn't seem like that many
- 1:15:16Speaker 1: people in the crowd was going crazy. It wasn't that
- 1:15:19Speaker 1: many to me. They it didn't go crazy like I
- 1:15:23Speaker 1: thought it would go to win a championship. Yeah, but
- 1:15:27Speaker 1: it kept flashing back to Virginia in their in their stadium,
- 1:15:30Speaker 1: it's full. Oh yeah, you know that's what the students
- 1:15:33Speaker 1: watching the game. But m h, sameon love it from
- 1:15:36Speaker 1: Texas Tech. Yeah, right right, right right. And then the ladies,
- 1:15:40Speaker 1: the Baylor University Bears. You know the Lady Bears. They won,
- 1:15:43Speaker 1: but their game was in Tampa. I guess they played
- 1:15:46Speaker 1: different locations every year. Yeah, but man, the boys they
- 1:15:50Speaker 1: played the harder. They was heartbroken when they lost them.
- 1:15:53Speaker 1: They was hard on the floor, that's for sure. Yeah,
- 1:15:57Speaker 1: that's that's a good cliche. J Where to go? Well,
- 1:16:01Speaker 1: they play for the pros, the playoffs? Yeah, who you
- 1:16:10Speaker 1: got there? We got them. Damn Rocket's who you think
- 1:16:14Speaker 1: for you with the Rockets, gonna be real, real hard
- 1:16:20Speaker 1: to beat the Warriors, Mann, real, real hard. Every year.
- 1:16:24Speaker 1: It's gonna be real, real hard. Man. I don't see
- 1:16:27Speaker 1: nobody because there ain't nobody over there now coming out
- 1:16:31Speaker 1: to eat. Who y'all think gonna come out out to
- 1:16:33Speaker 1: where she y'all want Houston to come out to? W
- 1:16:36Speaker 1: I would love to see Chris Paul win one, Yes,
- 1:16:39Speaker 1: I really really will. I would love to see Chris
- 1:16:41Speaker 1: Paul and the hard and win one. Now. Who's gonna
- 1:16:44Speaker 1: come out the East Milwaukee? Yeah no, I don't know.
- 1:16:51Speaker 1: The Celtics not coming out to East. That's not gonna happen.
- 1:16:54Speaker 1: They're not playing great ball. A damn Milwaukee though the Greek.
- 1:17:04Speaker 1: I can't tek the Greek. And then Philly. You know,
- 1:17:10Speaker 1: Boston has the talent, they do, but they don't have
- 1:17:15Speaker 1: they don't have the guy. And the guy is really Kyrie,
- 1:17:20Speaker 1: but they don't give him the ball like he's the guy.
- 1:17:24Speaker 1: And I just I just think that youth is gonna
- 1:17:26Speaker 1: eat him up in the playoffs. He should have stayed. Man, man,
- 1:17:35Speaker 1: I guess you had to see huh, you had to
- 1:17:38Speaker 1: take that chance. A lot of times, when you want
- 1:17:41Speaker 1: to get out under the shadow of another person, you
- 1:17:44Speaker 1: have to remember one thing about the shadow. The shadow
- 1:17:48Speaker 1: is actually shade. Sometimes it's good to leave somewhere else.
- 1:18:00Speaker 1: We just about this basketball team right here. Everybody talking
- 1:18:03Speaker 1: about your radio career. Take your own damn cruise when
- 1:18:08Speaker 1: you walk through. We know why, but I think something
- 1:18:13Speaker 1: going on when you get sick at the same time
- 1:18:15Speaker 1: after crewise every year. Stevie's only been with us, always
- 1:18:21Speaker 1: a year. Yeah, you know, it's like it throw you
- 1:18:24Speaker 1: into something. Okay, what a lie of y'all? Yeah, yes,
- 1:18:31Speaker 1: said Virginia. Just be tech us. Would you lie to us.
- 1:18:35Speaker 1: You're the same dude. You should have a diary. What
- 1:18:40Speaker 1: does that meant? A long time? So we're gonna lead
- 1:18:45Speaker 1: up diary. Every damn thing, every damn thing was in
- 1:18:53Speaker 1: the man does that? Me and him a hole. Man
- 1:18:57Speaker 1: ain't know what man does. That him ain't know what
- 1:19:01Speaker 1: man does. And I'm in it, everybody in it. Oh man,
- 1:19:05Speaker 1: Then she found it. I'll be there. Wait what they
- 1:19:15Speaker 1: have a long time ago out thirty yards? Come on,
- 1:19:21Speaker 1: man always got to throw the lord in there some
- 1:19:24Speaker 1: kind of way. Then I'm over there trying to get
- 1:19:26Speaker 1: the diary. And then she gonna open it on show
- 1:19:28Speaker 1: me when I'm in it. Man, I tried to snatch
- 1:19:33Speaker 1: it out of hand. You knew, shut up line, you
- 1:19:36Speaker 1: knew y'all was together. I'll be Oh man, you're supposed
- 1:19:42Speaker 1: to keep a record or nothing. Man, Yeah, before phones,
- 1:19:47Speaker 1: before camera phones, exactly this when you had a little
- 1:19:51Speaker 1: black book, Nah, diary. It was a big note book.
- 1:20:00Speaker 1: I did have a log on it, pages and pages
- 1:20:03Speaker 1: and pages. You know the road as a comedian. Oh
- 1:20:10Speaker 1: you journal? Okay, Yeah, that's very therapeutic. And it would
- 1:20:15Speaker 1: have been great of it had just been about his
- 1:20:17Speaker 1: life as a commedian over the road. But it wasn't
- 1:20:21Speaker 1: just his damn life. His experience is gonna put my name,
- 1:20:24Speaker 1: and I'm over there asking the girl can we get
- 1:20:26Speaker 1: it back? She started reading chapters about me. I'm sing
- 1:20:31Speaker 1: he was with him. Maybe the main pages is we
- 1:20:37Speaker 1: were some games together. Yeah, did you try to grab
- 1:20:42Speaker 1: it and miss? Now? She wasn't. She was she was
- 1:20:46Speaker 1: going to back and bring a page out. So if
- 1:20:50Speaker 1: I had grabbed the book at that time, it would
- 1:20:52Speaker 1: have been breaking an inner. And so with them charges,
- 1:20:55Speaker 1: I just went on debt with us and she got
- 1:20:58Speaker 1: then get a page, bringing out, read it, go back
- 1:21:01Speaker 1: in there, bring another page out and read it to me.
- 1:21:04Speaker 1: Then one time she came out, I was gone, and
- 1:21:08Speaker 1: then she came out to read about the eighth page out,
- 1:21:10Speaker 1: just got old over left. This is going downhill? Oh man,
- 1:21:14Speaker 1: so you still got it? Weet it back? Well? That
- 1:21:20Speaker 1: was interesting, got it. We gotta get out of here, guys.
- 1:21:27Speaker 1: We'll have more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show right

- 1:22:22Speaker 1: even enough to identify the guy by So he's a
- 1:22:26Speaker 1: rhino poacher who got killed by an elephant and eaten
- 1:22:29Speaker 1: by lions. Well there's there's three more poachers that's out
- 1:22:33Speaker 1: of the poaching business. Wow yeah yeah they this they

- 1:24:06Speaker 1: So I knock up on his ass called they would
- 1:24:08Speaker 1: paying close attention, and I bumped him. You know, I
- 1:24:10Speaker 1: don't take much from me and knock nobody down. And
- 1:24:14Speaker 1: you know what saying say. As soon as I bumped
- 1:24:16Speaker 1: in me fell and and then the other dogs and
- 1:24:19Speaker 1: the other three dogskin dude looked at me. All I
- 1:24:22Speaker 1: saw his eyes. Well, I swung around. He went up
- 1:24:25Speaker 1: with my ass. I don't know what happened here. He
- 1:24:28Speaker 1: wasn't flying. And then other dude looked scared because I
- 1:24:32Speaker 1: swung around or hit him with my ass. I swung around.
- 1:24:35Speaker 1: I ain't see the pole fellow, and I stepped on
- 1:24:37Speaker 1: him dead in the damn chest. But through all your fighting,
- 1:24:40Speaker 1: how is rosco oh rock on Rondo? He fine? Now
- 1:24:44Speaker 1: that fellow when I stepped in his chest, you know
- 1:24:46Speaker 1: how to kind of knocked the wind out of him.
- 1:24:48Speaker 1: And you know, I ain't saying I killed him because
- 1:24:50Speaker 1: I don't want to be up on no charge. Just
- 1:24:51Speaker 1: ain't and making anohing. You know what I'm saying, because
- 1:24:58Speaker 1: you know what I do. You right, well, you know
- 1:25:01Speaker 1: what I'm saying. What all I do with stefany chest,
- 1:25:03Speaker 1: I don't. I don't really know what happened. He would

- 1:25:14Speaker 1: you know how they handed us. And when I stepped

- 1:25:17Speaker 1: the lines over there, I said, will you know, don't
- 1:25:21Speaker 1: look at the guns. Don't look like gonna be a
- 1:25:22Speaker 1: whole lot of evidence in the case. Hard hard to
- 1:25:33Speaker 1: get dinner records, Hard to get dinner record We want two?
- 1:25:36Speaker 1: All right? All right, We'll be back with more of
- 1:25:39Speaker 1: the Steam Harvey Morning Show right after this. Make the

- 1:26:43Speaker 1: they do seem like very loving parents, especially the little

- 1:26:52Speaker 1: I can't say nothing about it because I'm still mad
- 1:26:55Speaker 1: at my damn boys by asking for that damn Cadillac
- 1:26:58Speaker 1: escalator About that twenty well whatever, it's still burning. Cadillac
- 1:27:09Speaker 1: ain't working nowhere talking about a damn Cadillac escalade. Yeah

- 1:27:33Speaker 1: So I asked for a bike? When't you? They looked
- 1:27:35Speaker 1: at me like I had lost my damn a bike.
- 1:27:39Speaker 1: Were you gonna get out there to run for a
- 1:27:42Speaker 1: rod to the school? It was just four blocks away
- 1:27:44Speaker 1: out You don't need a ya one y'all asked for glasses,
- 1:27:51Speaker 1: they ask as mad at that need to see? I
- 1:27:55Speaker 1: don't see this happening? Quit biggest words? Is it then?
- 1:28:00Speaker 1: Alison Jerry Books, Yeah, we were really raised different these
- 1:28:04Speaker 1: kids today, that is for sure. In other entertainment news,
- 1:28:08Speaker 1: Solange has canceled her performances at Coachella. You know, um
- 1:28:13Speaker 1: the music festival tweet it. Due to major production delay,
- 1:28:17Speaker 1: Solange will unfortunately no longer be performing. She sends her
- 1:28:21Speaker 1: sincerest apologies. Coachella is a major festival. It's had held
- 1:28:25Speaker 1: outside of Los Angeles, um over two weekends in the
- 1:28:28Speaker 1: California Desert. This year's headliners are Ariana Grande and Childish Gambino.
- 1:28:33Speaker 1: Kanye West will bring his gospel choir to Coachella for
- 1:28:36Speaker 1: a special outdoor Easter Sunday sunrise service. So um in
- 1:28:41Speaker 1: the in this particular story, she didn't say why, but um,
- 1:28:45Speaker 1: we understand her band is sick. Yeah, her a lot
- 1:28:49Speaker 1: of members of her band, uh sick and so shelge.
- 1:28:55Speaker 1: I think it's like the last weekends and started at
- 1:29:01Speaker 1: the end of Yes, it starts this weekend, well and
- 1:29:04Speaker 1: the next weekend and they mona one drum of you.
- 1:29:10Speaker 1: There's got to be right between that. She wants to
- 1:29:13Speaker 1: do it with a pin night quill. She wants to
- 1:29:15Speaker 1: do with the people she's comfortable with. I'm sure replacing them,
- 1:29:20Speaker 1: she said. I mean she's an artist, by the way, Yeah, yeah,
- 1:29:23Speaker 1: she's an artist, Yes she is, and so you know,
- 1:29:26Speaker 1: in her own right little track. Let's do the track.
- 1:29:29Speaker 1: Get a track, all right, So we'll be back with
- 1:29:32Speaker 1: our last break of the day and some closing remarks
- 1:29:35Speaker 1: from our fearless leader, the one and only mister Steve
- 1:29:38Speaker 1: Harve day right after this. You're listening here, we are, Steve.
- 1:29:45Speaker 1: Last break of the day. Jay is back and then
- 1:29:49Speaker 1: Junior took the day off yesterday. He's back. Amazingly, they
- 1:29:52Speaker 1: came back on the same day and they're both well,
- 1:29:54Speaker 1: that's the most He's not going out seeking me anyway.
- 1:30:02Speaker 1: I know. I'm glad. I'm glad everybody's healthy and well
- 1:30:05Speaker 1: and back at work. And yeah, so Steve leave us
- 1:30:08Speaker 1: with some closing remarks, all right. You know, I want
- 1:30:12Speaker 1: to try to help people understand something about mistakes. I
- 1:30:18Speaker 1: think that mistakes are overrated. They really are. I think
- 1:30:25Speaker 1: that oftentimes the mistakes you make are misunderstood. I think
- 1:30:31Speaker 1: that the mistakes you make are not the failures that
- 1:30:35Speaker 1: you've let them mount themselves up to be. But what
- 1:30:40Speaker 1: mistakes actually really are are just valuable learned experiences. Mistakes
- 1:30:46Speaker 1: are actually experienced. You know, you you've got to become
- 1:30:51Speaker 1: experienced in life. You become experienced through mistakes. Mistakes are necessary.
- 1:31:02Speaker 1: Mistakes teach us how to get it right. Mistakes show
- 1:31:08Speaker 1: something in us that some people try not to make.
- 1:31:12Speaker 1: You see, when you make one, When you make a mistake,
- 1:31:16Speaker 1: you make a mistake because there was an effort put
- 1:31:19Speaker 1: forward in attempting to do something, and sometimes those mistakes
- 1:31:25Speaker 1: don't turn out the way you wanted it too. Now,
- 1:31:27Speaker 1: I'm not talking about you decide that you're gonna sell
- 1:31:31Speaker 1: dope for a living. I'm not talking about the mistakes
- 1:31:34Speaker 1: where you said I'm gonna go down here and rob
- 1:31:37Speaker 1: this bank. I'm talking about the mistakes that you make
- 1:31:42Speaker 1: in a righteous effort to move yourself forward. But I
- 1:31:46Speaker 1: gotta say this, though, even if you made the decision
- 1:31:50Speaker 1: once upon a time to sell dope or to rob
- 1:31:52Speaker 1: a bait, when you come through the other side, when
- 1:31:56Speaker 1: you pay your time, when you've you paid your dues,
- 1:32:01Speaker 1: when you've suffered the consequences, that too becomes a learned
- 1:32:06Speaker 1: and valuable experience. But instead, what some people do is
- 1:32:12Speaker 1: they take these mistakes, they sit in the confines of
- 1:32:15Speaker 1: the walls of a penal institution, and they decide that
- 1:32:19Speaker 1: what they learned was a better way to do it,
- 1:32:23Speaker 1: and I'll be damned if some people don't come out
- 1:32:26Speaker 1: and repeat the same mistake again because they think they
- 1:32:31Speaker 1: found a better way to do it. Not listen to me, man,
- 1:32:34Speaker 1: If you think that you found a better way to
- 1:32:36Speaker 1: do to commit the crime, don't you think the police
- 1:32:39Speaker 1: is out here finding better ways to solve them. Everybody
- 1:32:43Speaker 1: trying to prove their position, and I'm telling you the
- 1:32:47Speaker 1: law is going to win. So even then, man, come on,
- 1:32:52Speaker 1: you've got to take the negatives that happened to you
- 1:32:55Speaker 1: and turn them into a positive. I can show you, man,
- 1:33:00Speaker 1: people who used to be in the game on the
- 1:33:03Speaker 1: wrong side and got and paid the consequences and got
- 1:33:07Speaker 1: out and decided, you know what, I'm not gonna be
- 1:33:09Speaker 1: that I'm a better myself. And they took what they
- 1:33:12Speaker 1: learned from the mistakes and they turned them around and
- 1:33:15Speaker 1: they turned themselves into some pretty pretty good individuals. I
- 1:33:19Speaker 1: know a lot of people who were inmates who are
- 1:33:23Speaker 1: now outstanding people. But now let's look at the person
- 1:33:29Speaker 1: who makes a mistake that's trying to do something righteous.
- 1:33:32Speaker 1: You open up a business and it fails, You get
- 1:33:36Speaker 1: into a relationship and it fails. You have a baby,
- 1:33:40Speaker 1: and then you break up. But you still got to
- 1:33:42Speaker 1: be a father. You still got to be a mother.
- 1:33:45Speaker 1: You still have to do the right things. When you
- 1:33:48Speaker 1: make a mistake and you're trying to accomplish something righteous
- 1:33:52Speaker 1: and you fail at it, it's an experience that you
- 1:33:57Speaker 1: have to have. I'll give you an ex example in
- 1:34:02Speaker 1: the comedy business. You don't learn the comedy business from killing.
- 1:34:07Speaker 1: You learn the comedy business from them nights. You up
- 1:34:10Speaker 1: there bombing from them, knight, You up there not doing well?
- 1:34:13Speaker 1: From them, knight, You up that dying When there's thirty
- 1:34:17Speaker 1: people in the crowd on the A show and the
- 1:34:19Speaker 1: club on the decide to let the same thirty state
- 1:34:21Speaker 1: because he ain't sold no tickets for the B show
- 1:34:24Speaker 1: and he just hoping they buy another drink, but not
- 1:34:26Speaker 1: realizing you got to stand there and try to entertain
- 1:34:28Speaker 1: the same thirty people again. That's when you learn. You
- 1:34:33Speaker 1: learn from losing the basketball game, because now you got
- 1:34:37Speaker 1: to go back to the film room and you got
- 1:34:39Speaker 1: to see what you did wrong and then and then
- 1:34:42Speaker 1: correcting that mistake. It makes you better for the next opponent. See,
- 1:34:47Speaker 1: you don't. You don't get better at basketball because you
- 1:34:50Speaker 1: make the game winning shot. You get better at basketball
- 1:34:53Speaker 1: because you missed the game winning shot, because it pushes
- 1:34:56Speaker 1: you in the gym so you can train hard and
- 1:34:58Speaker 1: work harder. So if you're getting that situ and you
- 1:35:00Speaker 1: won't blow it again, it's called experience. Y'all. Stop letting
- 1:35:05Speaker 1: your mistakes define you and allow those mistakes to redefine you.
- 1:35:12Speaker 1: Let those mistakes redefine you, turn you into who you
- 1:35:16Speaker 1: really want to be, because you're gonna have to get
- 1:35:19Speaker 1: through the mistakes to get to where you want to be.
- 1:35:22Speaker 1: If you let every mistake you may crumble you, you
- 1:35:25Speaker 1: will never be built up to be who you need
- 1:35:27Speaker 1: to be. These mistakes are not to crumble you. They
- 1:35:30Speaker 1: are to solidify you. These mistakes are to ground you,
- 1:35:35Speaker 1: there to grow you. These mistakes are to strengthen you.
- 1:35:39Speaker 1: I've made so many mistakes. A lot of my mistakes
- 1:35:42Speaker 1: been public, and from all of the slings and owls
- 1:35:46Speaker 1: that come my way for my public mistakes, I still
- 1:35:50Speaker 1: keep going forward for all Steve Every contest no purchase necessary,
