- 1:42Speaker 1: turn my lovey got to turn out to turn want go?
- 1:55Speaker 1: Come come on your things at it? Uh huh, I
- 2:02Speaker 1: sure will come on everybody, y'all listen to the voice.
- 2:06Speaker 1: Come on dig me now one and only Steve Harvey,
- 2:09Speaker 1: Uh how a radio show? Yeah? Yeah sometimes saw all
- 2:17Speaker 1: I can say? Yea, man, how far I've come is
- 2:21Speaker 1: really unbelievable. But you know I finally figured it out. Man.
- 2:25Speaker 1: God allowed uh me to have the life I've had
- 2:31Speaker 1: so that I can become experienced at so many different things.
- 2:36Speaker 1: And then this experience when I'm talking and sharing with people,
- 2:41Speaker 1: I will be able to relate to a lot of
- 2:42Speaker 1: different circumstances, not exact, but just the circumstances. You know.
- 2:47Speaker 1: You know, if a person comes to me and they said, man,
- 2:50Speaker 1: I've been down and out. Okay, well I know what
- 2:52Speaker 1: that is. Man. I didn't I didn't have any direction, Okay,
- 2:56Speaker 1: got that been there man at one point in time, Man,
- 2:59Speaker 1: I just kept piling mistake on top of mistakes. Okay,
- 3:05Speaker 1: and that done that too. So you know, um, I
- 3:09Speaker 1: think what I'm trying to say to everybody is when
- 3:11Speaker 1: you're going through life and life is dealing the cards
- 3:16Speaker 1: that it deals, I want you to understand that life
- 3:19Speaker 1: deals everybody these cards. The disappointment card, the setback card,
- 3:26Speaker 1: the failure card, the mishap card, the unexpected misery card.
- 3:34Speaker 1: Everybody gonna get, the grief card, everybody gonna get, the
- 3:38Speaker 1: rash of bad decision card, everybody's gonna get them. Understand
- 3:43Speaker 1: that going in that everybody is gonna get these cards.
- 3:52Speaker 1: It's how you play them, though, you know, from time
- 3:56Speaker 1: to time, one more time, it's how you play them,
- 3:59Speaker 1: you know, for time to time. When I'm watching TV,
- 4:02Speaker 1: I love to watch the World Series of Poker. I
- 4:05Speaker 1: like watching poker tournaments on TV because it's it's really good,
- 4:10Speaker 1: really weird. What's happened to sport? To to poker? They're
- 4:14Speaker 1: actually trying to call it a sport you know. And
- 4:17Speaker 1: as to everyday guy that doesn't have to be athletically
- 4:20Speaker 1: inclined to anything, who has a shot of winning a
- 4:25Speaker 1: title if they play their cards right. The best poker
- 4:29Speaker 1: players in the world don't have the best hands. They
- 4:34Speaker 1: just make the best plays. I've seen guys win a
- 4:39Speaker 1: hand with nine two in their hands that's nothing, and
- 4:43Speaker 1: win their hands because they knew the bluff, they knew
- 4:47Speaker 1: the odds, they calculated risks, they made the stakes higher
- 4:52Speaker 1: than the other person was willing to pay. They gave
- 4:55Speaker 1: off the illusion that they had something with an actuality.
- 5:00Speaker 1: They had nothing. So what I what I enjoy about
- 5:04Speaker 1: poker and watching it is that these people, these people here,
- 5:10Speaker 1: play the hand they dealt and it ain't always a
- 5:13Speaker 1: good hand. But it ain't whether your hand is good.
- 5:17Speaker 1: And it ain't whether you're gonna get dealt bad cards
- 5:19Speaker 1: or not, because you're gonna get dealt some bad cars.
- 5:21Speaker 1: Everybody ain't gonna get two bullets in their hand. You
- 5:23Speaker 1: ain't gonna get two aces when you get dealt. Uh.
- 5:26Speaker 1: You know, when you play a draw poker, some of
- 5:29Speaker 1: your cards gonna be nothing, But you gotta turn that
- 5:31Speaker 1: nothing into something. So when you get dealt these cards
- 5:35Speaker 1: in life. It ain't the fact that you're getting to
- 5:37Speaker 1: keep getting them dealt. I was talking with a young
- 5:39Speaker 1: person yesterday and we were talking and we keep having
- 5:43Speaker 1: the same conversation over and over and over, and they
- 5:46Speaker 1: couldnot understand why they were not moving forward. But I said,
- 5:49Speaker 1: you don't understand. Every time we talk we have the
- 5:52Speaker 1: exact same conversation. It is simply because you keep getting
- 5:58Speaker 1: your cards and you playing the same way. See, until
- 6:02Speaker 1: you make a conscientious different, the conscious decision to do
- 6:07Speaker 1: something different, the results will continue to be the same.
- 6:12Speaker 1: See his his. Here's the way this works. When you're
- 6:17Speaker 1: dealt to disappointments in life. It's how you handle the
- 6:21Speaker 1: disappointments that determined the outcome and who you are. Because
- 6:25Speaker 1: everybody's gonna be disappointment. Everybody's gonna lose a love one,
- 6:29Speaker 1: everybody's gonna make a bad decision. Everybody's gonna end wake
- 6:32Speaker 1: up one morning they have done something they regretted. Everybody
- 6:35Speaker 1: gonna get caught at the wrong time. Every everybody gonna
- 6:40Speaker 1: make a mistake. It ain't just you. That's how you
- 6:42Speaker 1: play your cards when they get dealt to you. That
- 6:45Speaker 1: determine who you are now, how do I play my
- 6:48Speaker 1: cards better? First of all, it's a mindset. Quit looking
- 6:52Speaker 1: at everything as just the end when it happens to you.
- 6:55Speaker 1: Oh lord, woe is me? No, everybody got your circumstances somewhere.
- 7:02Speaker 1: It ain't old woe is me. It's Hold on, man, Okay,
- 7:06Speaker 1: let me play this out to see how God the
- 7:08Speaker 1: connected this to something else. See, as soon as a
- 7:11Speaker 1: person have a setback, what's the first thing A lot
- 7:13Speaker 1: of people do. They go straight negative. I can't seem
- 7:15Speaker 1: to get a break. I can't see them move forward.
- 7:18Speaker 1: Hold on, man, do you realize this could be connected
- 7:21Speaker 1: to something? But if you take the negative position all
- 7:25Speaker 1: the time, this setback could be connected to something good
- 7:29Speaker 1: that's gonna happen for you in just a few days, weeks, month,
- 7:34Speaker 1: or year or years. But it all works for the good. See.
- 7:40Speaker 1: You got to understand, man, that this thing is all connected.
- 7:43Speaker 1: That you're not having these mishaps and these spills and
- 7:46Speaker 1: accidents and falls for no reason. It's so you can
- 7:49Speaker 1: become experienced at them. So when he takes you to
- 7:52Speaker 1: the next level, when it happens again, you have no
- 7:55Speaker 1: how and how to handle it. But if you keep
- 7:57Speaker 1: handling there wrong. If you don't ever handle them, it
- 8:00Speaker 1: happens correctly. If you keep throwing yourself off the cliff
- 8:04Speaker 1: every time something happened, come home, man, you're just gonna
- 8:09Speaker 1: be a cliff diver. You just every time something pop off.
- 8:12Speaker 1: Oh here I go out to playing without the parachute. Man,
- 8:15Speaker 1: stop tripping yourself out. I was talking to this young person.
- 8:18Speaker 1: I kept saying, and you know what they tried to
- 8:20Speaker 1: tell me. They said, you know, I'm trying to stay positive.
- 8:26Speaker 1: This is what they told me. I'm trying to stay positive.
- 8:28Speaker 1: But the people around here they're just killing that. They
- 8:32Speaker 1: just kill it. Whoa, whoa. Oh that's what our problem is. Oh,
- 8:38Speaker 1: I see. So when you learn something and you know something,
- 8:42Speaker 1: you don't take ownership of it. You allow other people
- 8:46Speaker 1: to come into what you know and believe and shake
- 8:49Speaker 1: it loose from you. I don'tkay who you are. You're
- 8:51Speaker 1: not doing me like that. You're not doing me like that,
- 8:55Speaker 1: and don't let nobody do that to you. Here's a deal.
- 8:58Speaker 1: I have a gift that was given to me from God.
- 9:01Speaker 1: That is the gift of comedy. That's what I've done.
- 9:03Speaker 1: I've made the bulk of my living on that skill
- 9:06Speaker 1: set right there. There are comedians who are supposedly friends
- 9:11Speaker 1: of mine, who I've worked with, who get around in
- 9:13Speaker 1: huddles with one another and they say, man, Steve really
- 9:16Speaker 1: ain't funny. I don't see what they'd be laughing at.
- 9:19Speaker 1: He ain't funny to me, he wasn't the funniest king
- 9:22Speaker 1: To me, he wasn't the funny? Is that to me? Hey,
- 9:24Speaker 1: excuse me, excuse me. You're irrelevant in this conversation, sir,
- 9:30Speaker 1: If I really want to be truthful with you, you're
- 9:32Speaker 1: irrelevant in this conversation because irregardless as to how you
- 9:36Speaker 1: feel about me. That are people think that I'm knocked
- 9:39Speaker 1: down kill over funny. But more importantly, I own the
- 9:44Speaker 1: gift that God gave to me. I take ownership of
- 9:47Speaker 1: his blessing, what God has done for me. I claim
- 9:50Speaker 1: it and own it. Because you don't think it's so.
- 9:52Speaker 1: You ain't taking that from me. Stop letting people steal
- 9:56Speaker 1: your joy. Stop letting people take what you're supposed to.
- 10:00Speaker 1: Oh look, i'm a I'm a I'm a I'm a
- 10:03Speaker 1: kind person at heart. Man, you ain't nothing, now, you
- 10:06Speaker 1: said the there going man, I guess I ain't what
- 10:08Speaker 1: you're tripping for You are a kind person on that.
- 10:13Speaker 1: Take ownership of it. Stop letting things God has given
- 10:18Speaker 1: you be taken away from others. The devil's a cold player,
- 10:22Speaker 1: and he got cold players working for him, just shaking,
- 10:24Speaker 1: just taking stuff from you. You know, I'm a hard worker.
- 10:28Speaker 1: I really am intelligent. You stupid? Oh, you stupid man.
- 10:35Speaker 1: I thought I was a hard worker. Man. They came
- 10:37Speaker 1: in and said I was stupid. Man. I don't know
- 10:39Speaker 1: what I'm doing wrong. What excuse me? You're a very
- 10:43Speaker 1: bright person. Hey, y'all take ownership. When God gives you something,
- 10:47Speaker 1: blesses you would have gifted talent, a skill set, a
- 10:50Speaker 1: mindset on it. Don't let people come in here and
- 10:53Speaker 1: take it from you. Man, Okay, I probably shouldn't have
- 10:56Speaker 1: with that. You're listening to morning ladies and gentlemen without
- 11:03Speaker 1: further ado, let me introduce you to the Steve Harvey
- 11:08Speaker 1: Morty Show, Shirley Strawberry. Good morning. How are you staying junior? Everbody? Yeah? No, Jay,
- 11:24Speaker 1: your throat to tom top top top top man. It's amazing, man,
- 11:33Speaker 1: I held it down. Team Tommy was here. Thank you.
- 11:37Speaker 1: Ja he bore he'd be going you so now Oh
- 11:42Speaker 1: he's not team time, Team Tom. Yeah, his team tell
- 11:45Speaker 1: me after he says what he says and then takes
- 11:46Speaker 1: it back, Oh that's just what you're doing, and say
- 11:50Speaker 1: what he wants. Now he'd be doing you didn't he
- 11:52Speaker 1: say I'm team Timmy thought, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. We
- 11:55Speaker 1: heard that a lot yesterday, like like being a lot
- 11:59Speaker 1: like you and Brett having Carlo's done her way. Guys. Yeah,
- 12:08Speaker 1: well that's interesting. Uh. I did pretty good with the picts, man,
- 12:13Speaker 1: I only missed four. Your team actually played pretty good. Oh, Man,
- 12:19Speaker 1: I was proud of the Browns. They did play good.
- 12:22Speaker 1: You know, Man, we haven't had they did a thing.
- 12:25Speaker 1: We haven't had forty eight points in the football game
- 12:29Speaker 1: since night team. Man, I don't seriously, it's like two thousand.
- 12:38Speaker 1: It's a long time since we've had forty eight points.
- 12:42Speaker 1: We had one football game. It was just a lot
- 12:48Speaker 1: of cheering, man, a lot of hope. Yeah, man, Man,
- 12:54Speaker 1: I love that name. That is a great name. Yeah,
- 12:58Speaker 1: it's a black name. It is sounds runnaways to me.
- 13:02Speaker 1: Looking for about the name of Mica star Ish. You know,
- 13:08Speaker 1: see Dusty Baker, dust wrestling name. That's a great wrestling name.
- 13:16Speaker 1: Baseball Baseball, Dusty Road dust the Rose was a wrestling
- 13:22Speaker 1: His name ain't Dusty or Roads Rhodes. Well, his name
- 13:28Speaker 1: is Dusty Baker, wrestler. Yeah, I know, But what we
- 13:34Speaker 1: was trying. I was trying to tell you that it
- 13:36Speaker 1: was a black name, Dusty boy, Steve, don't don't just
- 13:41Speaker 1: calms down black and Curtis Mayfield. That's what I'm doing.
- 13:46Speaker 1: What is he talking? Scot here? Why are you still
- 13:50Speaker 1: upset like that? Don't go with the jokes. The black name,
- 13:56Speaker 1: not Dusty Rhodes, not hellless, there's Dusty Baker. I got you,
- 14:05Speaker 1: but it's not normal to me. I'll total commercial breaks
- 14:13Speaker 1: so I can tell you what I really still want
- 14:15Speaker 1: you to be mad with. You got a whole day
- 14:17Speaker 1: to be mad again. First of all, y'all that ain't
- 14:25Speaker 1: got the same thirty and he got in, get out
- 14:27Speaker 1: of it, talked to each other, all right, Steve, listen,
- 14:33Speaker 1: nephew Tommy is back. We're gonna talk about the pros
- 14:35Speaker 1: and cons of hiring relatives right after this. And you're
- 14:43Speaker 1: listening to Steven show Well, Steve the nephew is back.
- 14:48Speaker 1: He missed a couple of days from work, and uh
- 14:52Speaker 1: Carlin found this great article on hiring your relatives your
- 14:55Speaker 1: family members. Yeah, we're all on team Tommy for the
- 14:59Speaker 1: most partner. J J is president and CEO. Yeah, but
- 15:05Speaker 1: here's some information from the article. Here the pros, Steve, Okay,
- 15:09Speaker 1: for hiring your relatives, you already know what you're getting.
- 15:13Speaker 1: You already know. You don't have to guess. You don't
- 15:15Speaker 1: even think about it, you know, because this is a
- 15:17Speaker 1: member of your family, so you know this person. Here's
- 15:20Speaker 1: some of the cons though, it sends the wrong signal
- 15:23Speaker 1: to other employees, you know, like they're not qualified for
- 15:27Speaker 1: the job. They just got the job because he was
- 15:30Speaker 1: huh uh huh. Here's another con. A relative may feel
- 15:34Speaker 1: the rules don't apply to in this case him. That's
- 15:41Speaker 1: he just missed two days. Yeah, but he didn't get
- 15:44Speaker 1: paid though. Oh okay, that's where the stains. He's gonna
- 15:53Speaker 1: need it. He's gonna need it all right here. So
- 15:56Speaker 1: he worked in the conversate for his chick. There's another
- 16:00Speaker 1: con Steve, Well, you don't necessarily do this, but other
- 16:04Speaker 1: ceo s might not hire relatives because the con is
- 16:08Speaker 1: you hold back from criticism or you don't discipline him.
- 16:11Speaker 1: So in this case, you did you did dock him
- 16:14Speaker 1: his pay, right, man, I wish I would. I'm will
- 16:18Speaker 1: not criticize him. What is we talking? We're not doing criticism.
- 16:23Speaker 1: Why are we talking? But but you hired him, though staves,
- 16:27Speaker 1: that was not by choice? What do you mean my system? Oh?
- 16:33Speaker 1: The only reason I fired him is causing hell. I
- 16:36Speaker 1: wasn't a good hide though. You don't think he does
- 16:38Speaker 1: good works. You don't think I was a good hire boy.
- 16:42Speaker 1: If I could replay the days you missed, the times
- 16:48Speaker 1: you called in from day one though, things I can't
- 16:52Speaker 1: even tell you. Yeah, you guys weren't even here on
- 16:56Speaker 1: day one when Tommy used to call him from his
- 16:58Speaker 1: bed leased twice a week, asking if he had to
- 17:02Speaker 1: come in. I was trying to get used to the system.
- 17:06Speaker 1: That's awkward, but we were all here. What else? That's
- 17:11Speaker 1: about it. The article goes on to say that issues
- 17:14Speaker 1: with family members who come up I don't even want
- 17:17Speaker 1: to say. Yeah, just wait, I got brace brace yourself.
- 17:25Speaker 1: The article goes on to say issues with family members
- 17:28Speaker 1: who come up short, that you couldn't let that go,
- 17:39Speaker 1: asked me. He asked me, it's his show, they come,
- 17:46Speaker 1: it said, issues with family members come Look okay, do
- 17:58Speaker 1: a pretty good job around here. Come, I'm short of
- 18:01Speaker 1: the job. Should be addressed just as they would any
- 18:10Speaker 1: other else who would have been the shortest one on?
- 18:19Speaker 1: That's what pop tain right there. I didn't have some
- 18:24Speaker 1: share trying to read one more time? I read it again.
- 18:36Speaker 1: What's you say, President and CEO of team Tommy? You
- 18:38Speaker 1: need to hit it again? Yeah? But why Holly, she
- 18:43Speaker 1: got water coming out of Steve? Did you not ask
- 18:46Speaker 1: me to read this against I didn't know. I didn't
- 18:48Speaker 1: know what it was. You know, but you could not.
- 18:50Speaker 1: You wouldn't gonna let it go. I was gonna, you know, Junior,
- 18:57Speaker 1: I don't think I should we we've already heard Shirley.
- 19:01Speaker 1: I bet you a thousand dollars. You can't read it
- 19:04Speaker 1: without laughing? Ready said? Okay, thousand dollars on the line. Okay.
- 19:11Speaker 1: The article goes on to say issues with family members.
- 19:19Speaker 1: I can do it. I can do it. Come on,
- 19:21Speaker 1: thousand dollars, issues with family members? Read? Come on? Issues
- 19:32Speaker 1: with family that's all it is. That is so cute.
- 19:57Speaker 1: You can't get it. Don't worry about it. I lost
- 20:00Speaker 1: one more times. I can do it. I can Okay.
- 20:07Speaker 1: The article goes on to say that issues with family
- 20:11Speaker 1: members who who it all? Pretty good job it take
- 20:34Speaker 1: this tissue and shall we come up short at the
- 20:38Speaker 1: amusement You haven't seen anybody go to the amusement park,
- 20:42Speaker 1: and that stick means so much talking about Yeah, I've cried.
- 20:51Speaker 1: You haven't seen somebody get on amusement ride. They shut
- 20:54Speaker 1: the safety bar down. He stepped right out. You haven't
- 20:58Speaker 1: seen somebody come around it first. Heel on that roller
- 21:01Speaker 1: coaster and everybody on the train gotta grab him. Yeah, yeah,
- 21:09Speaker 1: in other words, and yeah, welcome back to dog. You
- 21:15Speaker 1: should have said what was happening? Why you was going
- 21:17Speaker 1: captain of teen Tommy with Jack? Yeah, the president. So
- 21:21Speaker 1: in other words, Steve, they're saying that it might be
- 21:23Speaker 1: the worst decision you can make to hire a relic.
- 21:25Speaker 1: It ain't no doubt about it from me. All right,
- 21:29Speaker 1: coming up, he's here, Tommy's back and he's gonna run
- 21:36Speaker 1: that prank back from We'll be back in the short one.
- 21:41Speaker 1: That was a bonus, right there. You get that for
- 21:47Speaker 1: you're listening to show Coming up at the top of
- 21:51Speaker 1: the hour and Entertainment news, Cardi b in the news
- 21:54Speaker 1: for fighting again. She turns herself into the NYPD and man, yeah,
- 22:00Speaker 1: also in the news again, but not for fighting for
- 22:03Speaker 1: some comments he made about slavery and other stuff. Again,
- 22:06Speaker 1: he stopped by TMZ to clear it up. We'll talk
- 22:09Speaker 1: about it, but first, the nephew is here. He went
- 22:12Speaker 1: by TMZ again. Yeah, I was live yesterday. Yeah yeah,
- 22:19Speaker 1: yeah yeah yeah. Man, am I working too much? I
- 22:22Speaker 1: don't mean knowing none of this? He went, Wait a minute.
- 22:24Speaker 1: He went to TMZ again to say something about slavery. Yeah,
- 22:28Speaker 1: and come on, doghe come on, come on, alright, alright,
- 22:40Speaker 1: the nephew is back. He is here to run that
- 22:43Speaker 1: break back. What you got, King of Frank's. I need
- 22:47Speaker 1: you to wash me. It's wash I need you to
- 22:53Speaker 1: wash me. Run it washes that new thing that apple
- 22:58Speaker 1: came out that you weigh on your rich it's a
- 23:06Speaker 1: great data nursery. This is Felicia. I'm trying to get
- 23:10Speaker 1: somebody to come down here to five O one. I'm sorry, sorry,
- 23:13Speaker 1: whole one. I need somebody to come down here at
- 23:16Speaker 1: the five O one and and clean me up. Sir.
- 23:20Speaker 1: I think you might have the wrong number. This is
- 23:24Speaker 1: the nurse. I need the nurse to come down here
- 23:27Speaker 1: to five old one. And clean me up. So this
- 23:30Speaker 1: is a nursery, not the nurse. I think you might
- 23:32Speaker 1: have dow the wrong number. Nor I need to talk
- 23:35Speaker 1: to the world nurse a city, that's who's normally clean
- 23:40Speaker 1: me up. I need to come down here clean me up, sir.
- 23:43Speaker 1: I really do think you have the wrong number. Where
- 23:47Speaker 1: are you calling from? Who? Who is this here? This
- 23:51Speaker 1: is Felicia. I'm the director here at the nursery. That's
- 23:54Speaker 1: what I say. I need the nurse to come down
- 23:56Speaker 1: here to clean me up. I'm ain't playing and every

- 29:50Speaker 1: what is what is the baddest and I mean the
- 29:53Speaker 1: baddest radio show in the land. It is the Steve
- 29:57Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. You got me, Shirley, you know why
- 30:06Speaker 1: the prank is oval? Why it was? Sure? Y'all still
- 30:13Speaker 1: on that? No mind? Man? All right, Well, thank you, nephew.
- 30:22Speaker 1: We appreciated as always. The new prank. Coming up later
- 30:26Speaker 1: this morning. Coming up in entertainment news, We're gonna talk
- 30:29Speaker 1: about Kanye and Cardi B. That's all coming up right
- 30:32Speaker 1: after this. You're listening to Steve Show. Cardi B turned
- 30:39Speaker 1: herself into New York police on Monday over charges simming
- 30:43Speaker 1: from a fight at a strip club. According to Yeah.
- 30:46Speaker 1: According to CBS News, Cardi faces charges of reckless endangerment
- 30:50Speaker 1: and assault. She was involved in an altercation at Angels
- 30:54Speaker 1: Gentleman's Club in Queen's Back on August twenty nine, just
- 30:58Speaker 1: a few days ago. I'll tell you just hold on.
- 31:02Speaker 1: According to TMZ, Cardi will be charged for allegedly ordering
- 31:06Speaker 1: an attack on two bartender sisters. Their names are Jade
- 31:10Speaker 1: and Batty g Uh. They say Cardi had a long
- 31:13Speaker 1: standing beef with Jade, especially because Cardi believed that Jade
- 31:18Speaker 1: had slept with her husband. Offset all right, this is
- 31:21Speaker 1: what the stemmed from and back to Cardi is scheduled
- 31:26Speaker 1: to be arraigned in October on the twenty ninth of October,
- 31:30Speaker 1: to be exact. Yeah, I thought it was a strip.
- 31:33Speaker 1: I thought they were naked. She just has so so
- 31:38Speaker 1: she's a bartender girl. The girl, yeah yeah, yeah, she's
- 31:43Speaker 1: ad So Cardi jumped on her allegedly. Yeah yeah, she
- 31:50Speaker 1: threw itca hooka pipes. So okay, what happened to the hoof?
- 31:57Speaker 1: Because if the girl got the chest through whatever, Yeah,
- 32:03Speaker 1: oh what did Cardi do to She's got a little
- 32:08Speaker 1: fiery temper, you know, man. But you know, I wish
- 32:14Speaker 1: I really wish her the best because she's so talented. Man.
- 32:18Speaker 1: I don't want this stuff to get in the way
- 32:21Speaker 1: of her possibly doing the Super Bowl, which could throw
- 32:25Speaker 1: her career into the stratosphere. And you know, man, you
- 32:29Speaker 1: do you know, man, we just have to be mindful
- 32:32Speaker 1: because you know, there there is a sickness out there now,
- 32:36Speaker 1: you know, uh and and and and I'm being really serious,
- 32:38Speaker 1: there's a real sickness out there. There. There's a there's
- 32:41Speaker 1: a there's a new evil spirit and it's it's and
- 32:45Speaker 1: it's the internet, man, and they just do everything to
- 32:52Speaker 1: people and and they will not let it go. There
- 32:56Speaker 1: is no mercy on the internet, man. I've I've never
- 32:59Speaker 1: seen anything like this. People can't make mistakes because it
- 33:03Speaker 1: lives on the internet. And yeah, and they by fighting
- 33:11Speaker 1: and then all then the lies, you know what. That's
- 33:17Speaker 1: why when um Kevin Hart was here last week, Steve,
- 33:21Speaker 1: he was talking. We were asking him a lot of
- 33:23Speaker 1: questions on and off the air, But off the air
- 33:25Speaker 1: he kept saying, I go home. I go home. I
- 33:29Speaker 1: go home, I go home. Yeah, you don't go out, Kevin.
- 33:34Speaker 1: I'm in my house. I go home. And how many
- 33:37Speaker 1: times have you heard me saying oh, yes, said yes?
- 33:42Speaker 1: So many times? Because you can't get caught out there,
- 33:45Speaker 1: because people are waiting for that moment when you fall.
- 33:49Speaker 1: They're waiting for this. Man. I wish I could remember.
- 33:52Speaker 1: I wish I could see the slogan that somebody put
- 33:56Speaker 1: up it was so good about your rise, and it's
- 34:01Speaker 1: it's just evil out there, man, And the sadness of
- 34:04Speaker 1: it is. You know, I really do feel sod man.
- 34:08Speaker 1: I I'm gonna make a statement when we come back.
- 34:11Speaker 1: I just want to say something. Yeah, and we who
- 34:14Speaker 1: know it's out there, we got to start exercising better
- 34:17Speaker 1: self control. If we can't, we can't let people take
- 34:20Speaker 1: us there. We just can't because that's what they're trying
- 34:23Speaker 1: to do. They're trying to get you. They are, so
- 34:26Speaker 1: either go home or ignore them. Something. You gotta do something, Yeah,
- 34:30Speaker 1: you have to. All right, Steve, it's time for our headlines, please,
- 34:36Speaker 1: ladies and gentlemen, Miss and Tripp, thank you very much, everybody.
- 34:40Speaker 1: Good morning, everybody. This is a trip with the news
- 34:43Speaker 1: and I have a lot of it. First of all,
- 34:44Speaker 1: the nation's top immigration official is defending a White House
- 34:48Speaker 1: plan to deny green cards to immigrants who take advantage
- 34:51Speaker 1: of welfare benefits. Francis Sisna is the head of the
- 34:55Speaker 1: U S Citizenship and Immigration Services, and he says that
- 34:58Speaker 1: he wants to make sure that immigrants are quote self
- 35:01Speaker 1: sufficient by enforcing a longstanding law that says that a
- 35:04Speaker 1: nonsense and cannot be a public charge. The trum administration
- 35:08Speaker 1: apparently wants to expand the definition of what a public
- 35:11Speaker 1: charge is to include the use of a wide range
- 35:13Speaker 1: of benefits like food stamps or housing vouchers. Not all
- 35:17Speaker 1: public benefits would be on the no useless, they say,
- 35:19Speaker 1: But just word of these proposed changes are scaring a
- 35:22Speaker 1: lot of immigrants away for applying for any government assistance.
- 35:27Speaker 1: Corner CNN this now, this report has not been a
- 35:30Speaker 1: report elsewhere, so we have to really confirm. But it
- 35:33Speaker 1: is support according to CNN, and that's how it's labeled.
- 35:36Speaker 1: A Yale classmate of Supreme Court nomine Brett Kavanaugh says
- 35:39Speaker 1: he lied about his drinking last Friday. Chad Luddington is
- 35:42Speaker 1: identified in this story, and he says the contrary to
- 35:45Speaker 1: his testimony, Kavanaugh was a frequent drinker, a heavy drinker,
- 35:49Speaker 1: that it wasn't always beer. Luddington also says on many
- 35:52Speaker 1: occasions he witnessed the nominee slurring his words and staggering
- 35:56Speaker 1: when Kavanaugh got drunk, and that he was often belligerent
- 35:59Speaker 1: and aggressive when he was President. Trump has agreed to
- 36:02Speaker 1: a revamped North American Free trade agreement. He says, this
- 36:05Speaker 1: one differs from the court of century old and after
- 36:07Speaker 1: agreement that he campaigned against. We have negotiated this new
- 36:11Speaker 1: agreement based on the principle of fairness and reciprocity to me,
- 36:15Speaker 1: it's the most important word in trade. That's right, Trump says.
- 36:19Speaker 1: The new agreement gives American dairy farmers new access to
- 36:22Speaker 1: the Canadian market and his design, he says, to encourage
- 36:25Speaker 1: new auto production in the United States. A new agreement
- 36:28Speaker 1: leaves in place, for now of the U s tariffs
- 36:31Speaker 1: that want imported steel and aluminum, as well as the
- 36:33Speaker 1: retaliatory levies that Canada and Mexico imposed in response. Tropical
- 36:39Speaker 1: Storm Rosa is sending rain down on parts of the
- 36:41Speaker 1: Southwest today. In fact, there are flood watches and effect
- 36:44Speaker 1: for most of Arizona, southeast California, eastern Nevada, and most
- 36:48Speaker 1: of Utah and parts of Colorado. According to the numbers,
- 36:52Speaker 1: President Trump is nominating white men to the federal courts
- 36:54Speaker 1: that are rate not seen in nearly thirty years. Associated
- 36:57Speaker 1: Press of Trump's fifty eight nominees are white, eighty one
- 37:02Speaker 1: percent of mail. So far, Donald Trump has nominated the
- 37:05Speaker 1: highest percentage of white men to the federal courts since
- 37:08Speaker 1: Ronald Reagan. It's this trend continues, Trump will be the
- 37:10Speaker 1: first Republican since Hubert Herbert Herbert Hoover. Rather to name
- 37:14Speaker 1: fewer women and minorities, to the courts than his GOP predecessor.
- 37:19Speaker 1: Today's both International Day of Non Violence, but it's also
- 37:21Speaker 1: Guardian Angel Day. Don't we all need one? That's right?
- 37:25Speaker 1: Coming back with the Steve Harvey Morning Show, Steve Harby Nation,
- 37:28Speaker 1: Let's find out if Steve is smarter than his nephew.
- 37:30Speaker 1: We'll be back twenty minutes after the hour and Steve
- 37:32Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. You're listening to Steve Harvey Show. All right.
- 37:37Speaker 1: Today in politics, the President was in Tennessee last night.
- 37:41Speaker 1: He was campaigning for the Republicans, of course, as a
- 37:43Speaker 1: countdown years for the mid term elections. But first, did
- 37:47Speaker 1: you guys see or did you hear about CNN's Caitlin Collins.
- 37:51Speaker 1: She's a journalist at CNN. She asked the President about
- 37:54Speaker 1: Brett Kavanaugh's FBI investigation and the drinking issues during the
- 37:58Speaker 1: president's press con friends, he had the press conference on trade,
- 38:02Speaker 1: and that's what he wanted to talk about before he
- 38:04Speaker 1: got into anything else. So when Caitlin Collins went to
- 38:08Speaker 1: ask him a question, he shut her down, all but
- 38:10Speaker 1: shut her down. Thank you, Mr President. Now that you've
- 38:13Speaker 1: answered several questions on trade, I'd like to turn do
- 38:16Speaker 1: you have you excuse me. Do you have a question
- 38:19Speaker 1: in trade? Will do one or two more questions? Several questions? Okay,
- 38:22Speaker 1: don't do that. That's not somebody before you. Excuse me,
- 38:25Speaker 1: don't do that. Do you have a question on trade?
- 38:28Speaker 1: You answered several questions. You have a question on trade.
- 38:31Speaker 1: My question is on you said the FBI should interview
- 38:34Speaker 1: whoever that they believe is appropriate. Does that include Julie
- 38:37Speaker 1: sweat Nick, the third accuser? And can you promise to
- 38:40Speaker 1: release the full finding? Give me a question pure they
- 38:42Speaker 1: finished their report, Mr President, give me a question. Plus.
- 38:45Speaker 1: I have two questions about Judge Cavanaught. First, there are
- 38:48Speaker 1: now concerns that he may have lied or miscarro. If
- 38:53Speaker 1: that fine that he did, do you think that bars
- 38:56Speaker 1: him from being your Supreme Court nominee? Well, I've watched
- 38:58Speaker 1: I watched him. I was surprised at how vocally was
- 39:04Speaker 1: about the fact that he likes beer. He did a
- 39:10Speaker 1: couple of more reporters like that as well. Well, you know,
- 39:12Speaker 1: I wanted to ask him about For him, that wasn't
- 39:16Speaker 1: mean no, for him, that was light because he mean
- 39:20Speaker 1: he could have went hart, he could have been yah. Yeah,
- 39:23Speaker 1: that's his polite version. Don't do please, don't don't it?
- 39:26Speaker 1: Okay that that's not right? Don't do you have a
- 39:30Speaker 1: question on trade? That for him? Is it mean? You
- 39:33Speaker 1: gotta give her credit because her ask what's really? You know,
- 39:39Speaker 1: she's so used to this. She went, yeah, okay, great,
- 39:42Speaker 1: now I got two for you. Do you have anything
- 39:44Speaker 1: for you know, already talked about trading. Let's get back
- 39:47Speaker 1: to Kevin. And then it just broke it. Yeah. A
- 39:50Speaker 1: couple of more people tried to get in there tooth
- 39:52Speaker 1: Steed and asked him about that, but because he shut
- 39:56Speaker 1: them down to what it was when she stood up
- 39:58Speaker 1: to the bullying, and then he just dealt with it
- 40:01Speaker 1: because he doesn't do well with direct confrontation, and so
- 40:07Speaker 1: this woman just kept being about her business and finally
- 40:12Speaker 1: he just said, well, you know, I was really I
- 40:15Speaker 1: mean like he wasn't even mad no more. Okay, you
- 40:18Speaker 1: win me, which means that we need to get out
- 40:22Speaker 1: and vote. Okay, that's basically the message here. I hope
- 40:26Speaker 1: you're registered and I hope you vote. No, really, folks,
- 40:29Speaker 1: if this doesn't get you to the polls, I just don't.
- 40:34Speaker 1: I don't get it. You don't you don't care anymore?
- 40:36Speaker 1: All right? Coming up next at thirty four after the hour,
- 40:39Speaker 1: Kanye stopped by tim Z again live yesterday. We'll talk
- 40:44Speaker 1: about it right after this. You're listening to show. Well,
- 40:49Speaker 1: Kanye was at it again. He stopped by TMZ Live yesterday.
- 40:54Speaker 1: First thing his album drops. Uh, the data has been
- 40:58Speaker 1: pushed back. It was supposed to drop this path Saturday,
- 41:00Speaker 1: but he said he wasn't finished with it. That's what
- 41:02Speaker 1: he told Harvey Levin. So it's going to drop on
- 41:05Speaker 1: Black Friday of this year. That would be the day
- 41:07Speaker 1: after Thanksgiving, November twenty three. Okay, so mark that date
- 41:11Speaker 1: on your calendar. He wants to travel to Africa, he says,
- 41:14Speaker 1: to finish the album. It's going to be uh called
- 41:18Speaker 1: Bandy Yandi. He wants, you know, like the sounds of Africa,
- 41:24Speaker 1: the earth. He wants all the Africans and stuff. He
- 41:27Speaker 1: just wants, you know. But when you got to go
- 41:31Speaker 1: way to Africa to get that. Kanye is a visionary. Yeah,
- 41:43Speaker 1: he did want to clear this up, you know, because
- 41:45Speaker 1: he got a lot of heat, a lot of criticism,
- 41:47Speaker 1: a lot of hate. He said he used the wrong
- 41:49Speaker 1: word when he said he wanted to abolish the Thirteenth Amendment.
- 41:53Speaker 1: The Thirteenth Amendment, of course abolished slavery. Uh. Kanye added
- 41:58Speaker 1: that there's a better way to change our constitution and
- 42:01Speaker 1: he should have used the word amend instead of abolished.
- 42:05Speaker 1: Take a listen. Abolished was the wrong language. I misspoke
- 42:09Speaker 1: by saying abolished. Amend is the right language and was awesome.
- 42:13Speaker 1: I don't say dope because it's uh, there's power and
- 42:16Speaker 1: words so lovely. What's beautiful about our constitution as we
- 42:21Speaker 1: can't amend it? Right? So in eighteen sixty five, the
- 42:25Speaker 1: Thirteenth Amendments stated that no man is destined to slavery
- 42:29Speaker 1: or involuntary servitude unless convicted of a crime. This translates
- 42:34Speaker 1: to in order to make a freedman a slave, all
- 42:38Speaker 1: you have to do is convict them of a crime.
- 42:42Speaker 1: He got a little deep. He was talking about prisons
- 42:45Speaker 1: being the new slavery and you know, I mean he
- 42:47Speaker 1: talked about a lot of stuff. Okay, now that's the
- 42:50Speaker 1: true state. Yeah, he talked they found a way to
- 42:54Speaker 1: control large numbers of poor people. But they've been doing
- 42:58Speaker 1: this with so many ways, and it starts with economics
- 43:02Speaker 1: and zoning. They can control you if they deny you opportunity,
- 43:07Speaker 1: cause you to have to become in the government a
- 43:10Speaker 1: system system welfare, things like that governmental system unemployment. Once
- 43:16Speaker 1: they can control that amount of money, that amount of
- 43:18Speaker 1: money controls where you can live. Once they can control
- 43:22Speaker 1: where you can live, they can then position everybody in
- 43:26Speaker 1: that zone to become so destitute and desperate that these
- 43:31Speaker 1: are high crime areas. Now, high crime areas produces criminals,
- 43:37Speaker 1: criminals produces inmates, inmates produces income. So now a lot
- 43:43Speaker 1: of these prisons are doing work in farming, motor vehicles, furniture, bakeries,
- 43:52Speaker 1: and they have found a way to get slavery paying
- 43:57Speaker 1: a guy he exact thing you just said. He said that.
- 44:05Speaker 1: He said, I didn't hear that, But he is correct
- 44:09Speaker 1: in saying that. You know, but he is. But but
- 44:14Speaker 1: my argument with Kanye is what he's saying is absolutely right,
- 44:18Speaker 1: But that is not what Trump preaches. And when you
- 44:21Speaker 1: support Trump, you support the opposite of what you believe.
- 44:25Speaker 1: And that's what That's what Harvey. That was Harvey Levin's
- 44:29Speaker 1: argument as well. That was Harvey Levin's argument as well.
- 44:35Speaker 1: And here's the deal. When when you were telling me
- 44:38Speaker 1: that Kanye says that he's not gonna get bullied out
- 44:41Speaker 1: of wearing the hat make America great again? Here is
- 44:45Speaker 1: American okay, but see make America great again for black people?
- 44:51Speaker 1: When was America greata see? So when when you say
- 44:57Speaker 1: make it great again, show me in pass where it
- 45:01Speaker 1: was better? I just wanted, dog. I promise you, I
- 45:05Speaker 1: promise you. It's not there. I was born in nineteen
- 45:09Speaker 1: fifty seven. I have seen colors only restrooms and colors
- 45:13Speaker 1: only water fountain. I've seen it. I've seen no in
- 45:17Speaker 1: words aloud. I've seen it's posted in public places. So
- 45:22Speaker 1: when you say you're gonna where I had to say,
- 45:23Speaker 1: make America great again? Where was America great for black folks?
- 45:28Speaker 1: I bet hed bet if you talked to me to
- 45:30Speaker 1: take the day, I ain't calling. No damn, run that
- 45:39Speaker 1: prank back. Right after this, you're listening to Steve Harvey

- 54:46Speaker 1: Subject I love him, but I can do bad by myself.
- 54:50Speaker 1: Dear Stephen Shirley, my fiance and I have been together
- 54:53Speaker 1: for fifteen years, and we've been engaged for the last
- 54:57Speaker 1: five years. He's thirty one and I'm twenty nine, and
- 55:00Speaker 1: we have four kids. I just finished nursing school and
- 55:03Speaker 1: I will start a great new job next month. My
- 55:06Speaker 1: fiance has been working at the same company for seven
- 55:09Speaker 1: years and he still doesn't know what he wants to
- 55:12Speaker 1: do with his life. He's in a job, not a career.
- 55:15Speaker 1: He is in business school right now, and when I
- 55:17Speaker 1: talked to him about his plans and career goals, he
- 55:20Speaker 1: has none. This is driving me crazy. He is everything
- 55:25Speaker 1: I want in a man. His only flaw is that
- 55:28Speaker 1: he is not a good provider. His monthly wages don't
- 55:32Speaker 1: even cover our rent each month, so I have to
- 55:34Speaker 1: ask my dad for money to cover our bills. We
- 55:38Speaker 1: both hate this, but that's just how it is right now.
- 55:41Speaker 1: We overcame so many challenges in our relationship, but we
- 55:45Speaker 1: just cannot seem to get on the same level financially. Uh.
- 55:49Speaker 1: He has been up for promotion several times at his
- 55:51Speaker 1: job and he always gets overlooked. I always encourage him
- 55:55Speaker 1: to look for a better job, and I have found
- 55:58Speaker 1: him in a few good I have found him a
- 56:00Speaker 1: few good job leads, but he won't follow up on them.
- 56:03Speaker 1: He's complacent, and this is the main reason that we
- 56:07Speaker 1: have been engaged for so long. I refuse to set
- 56:10Speaker 1: a wedding date because I'm terrified to marry someone who
- 56:14Speaker 1: can't provide for our families. I have no choice but
- 56:17Speaker 1: to continue, but to continue to work hard to make
- 56:20Speaker 1: ends meet. I love this man, and I honestly don't
- 56:23Speaker 1: know how to motivate him to get it together. Please help.
- 56:26Speaker 1: I don't think that's your job to motivate him. Um,
- 56:30Speaker 1: you know, it's his job to be motivated and to
- 56:33Speaker 1: have some sort of a plan and to want to
- 56:36Speaker 1: take care of his children. I mean, you guys are
- 56:39Speaker 1: young and everything, and you know he may not have
- 56:42Speaker 1: it all figured out yet because he is young, but
- 56:45Speaker 1: with four kids already, just at thirty one years old,
- 56:48Speaker 1: he's got to start figuring out something. I mean really,
- 56:52Speaker 1: uh yeah, this is a flaw in his relationship that
- 56:55Speaker 1: he's not a good provider, is not trying to be
- 56:58Speaker 1: a good provider. Doesn't him like it's top on his
- 57:01Speaker 1: list or anything. You give him leads and stuff like that,
- 57:04Speaker 1: but he won't follow up on anything. What is he doing? What?
- 57:07Speaker 1: What is he doing. You say, he's complacent and this
- 57:10Speaker 1: is the main reason that you guys have been engaged
- 57:13Speaker 1: for so long. Maybe he's not the man for you.
- 57:16Speaker 1: I mean, I know he's the father of your four children,
- 57:19Speaker 1: but if you want someone who's a go getter, who's
- 57:21Speaker 1: you know, ambitious and things like that, this is not
- 57:24Speaker 1: that guy. You guys are struggling to make ends meet.
- 57:27Speaker 1: Now when you get married, it's going to be even worse. Uh.
- 57:31Speaker 1: He doesn't feel some kind of way about your dad
- 57:34Speaker 1: helping you guys to make ends meet every month to
- 57:37Speaker 1: pay the rent. Uh. Yeah, this guy isn't motivated, and uh,
- 57:41Speaker 1: you don't know how to motivate him or how to
- 57:44Speaker 1: get it together. That's on him. He needs to be
- 57:46Speaker 1: the one. Uh since he's a man and everything to
- 57:49Speaker 1: to to figure it out, how to provide for his
- 57:52Speaker 1: family and all of that. Uh. This is crazy. I
- 57:56Speaker 1: mean really, I don't know how your your marriage is
- 57:58Speaker 1: going to survive. Um. You know, there are a lot
- 58:01Speaker 1: of times when women make more than men and all
- 58:04Speaker 1: of that, but they have a plan. They have some
- 58:06Speaker 1: sort of you know, survival plan and things like that.
- 58:09Speaker 1: You guys need to sit down and get a plan together.
- 58:11Speaker 1: If he's interested in it doesn't sound like he is, Steve,
- 58:15Speaker 1: I know exactly what's wrong, and surely you hit it
- 58:18Speaker 1: on the head in several points. First of all, I'm
- 58:24Speaker 1: not gonna do a comedic angle on this because I'm
- 58:28Speaker 1: I'm I'm gonna really just try to help a lot
- 58:30Speaker 1: of people here. So here we go. I could do
- 58:33Speaker 1: some comedy here, but let's let me just tell you what.
- 58:36Speaker 1: Let me just start by saying this, this might be
- 58:37Speaker 1: a little comedic. My fiance saying I have been together
- 58:42Speaker 1: fifteen years and we've been engaged for the last five years.
- 58:46Speaker 1: That this letter is wrong right at the beginning, right,
- 58:50Speaker 1: Who is with somebody fifteen years but been engaged for
- 58:56Speaker 1: five this letter start just like it ends. That is
- 59:04Speaker 1: nothing to this letter at all. Then you're going to say,
- 59:09Speaker 1: he's thirty one nine, we got four kids. I'm gonna
- 59:12Speaker 1: get back to that, the four kids. I just finished
- 59:16Speaker 1: nursing school. Great new job. My fiance has been working
- 59:20Speaker 1: the same company seven years. He still don't know what
- 59:22Speaker 1: he wants to do with his life. He's in a job,
- 59:25Speaker 1: not a career. The Bible says, m a man without
- 59:31Speaker 1: a dream or vision show perish and he's sitting there dying.
- 59:39Speaker 1: He's sitting there dying like a grape on the vine.
- 59:45Speaker 1: He's turning into a raisin. And if he don't get
- 59:49Speaker 1: some dreams and visions, this grape of a man that
- 59:53Speaker 1: you think is your everything, who he's really not, is
- 59:57Speaker 1: going to slowly wither and turn into raising and he
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: ain't gonna be a sweet one on top of that. See,
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: he don't know what he gonna do, but guess what.
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: It then carried over into y'all's relationship. He don't even
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: know what y'all gonna do because y'all been together fifteen
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: years and been engaged for five. It's a pattern. It's
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: a pattern. He hasn't completed anything. He's in business school
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: right now. When I talked to him about his plans
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: and goals, he has none. I just told you, man
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: without a dream of vision show Parish, this is driving
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: me crazy. He's everything I wanted a man. Okay, now
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: you need to rethink that statement. How is he everything
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: you want in a man? And everything you've mentioned is wrong?
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: So you just want a man with a lot of
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: stuff that's wrong with him. That's what you have. That's
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: where a lot of people do. He's every cause you
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: a in love with him. You know, I don't know
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: if y'all notice or not, but you can actually be
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: in love with the wrong person. What new slash real
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: good money. He's everything I won't. And his only flaw
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: is that he's not a good provider. No, no, that's
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: not his only flaw. He has several flaws. He's not
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: a good provider because he don't have no plan, He
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: don't have no dreams, he don't have no vision. He
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: doesn't take care of his kids. He don't take care
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: of you. You're going to Daddy for your money. It
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: goes way past the provision part of it. I got
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: more when we come back. All right, you have Steve's
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: response coming up at twenty three after the hour. I
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: love him, but I can do bad by myself doing bad?
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: Now you're listening, all right, Steve, Let's recap today's strawberry letter.
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: I love him, but I can do bad by myself.
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: Then would just do fifteen years? Engaged for five years?
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: He thirty nine, they got four kids. He ain't got
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: no plans, no dreams, no visions. She says, he's everything
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: I won't in a man, but everything you've said about
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: him is wrong. You haven't listed one good quality that
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: this man has. His only flaw is that he's not
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: a good provider. No, it's a lot more wrong with him.
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: You just won't look at it. His monthly wages don't
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: even cover our reny moth. Wait wait wait wait wait
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: wait wait wait? Where do you work? Where you go
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: to work all month? And if you get all damn checks,
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: it don't cover rent? Why y'all stay damn Now? I
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: can see I can understand if you because I've been
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: in this situation. I can understand if you pay your rent,
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: you have very little left. I've been there, but you
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: don't make enough to cover the rent. I got news
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: for you. I've been there too, and guess what became homeless?
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: And if it wasn't for your daddy, that's where y'all
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: would be. So I asked my dad for money to
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: cover our bills. We both hate this. He don't hate
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: it that much because he keeps going back over there.
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: And you know why he hated because the where your
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: daddy be looking upside his head. But that's just how
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: it is. Right now. We overcame so many challenges in
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: our relationship you have it, ma'am, but we just cannot
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: seem to get on the same level financially. He has
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: been up for promotion several times at his job, but
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: he always get over a little because he got no
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: dreams of vision. People at the job know that can't
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: put him in charge. Man, Hey, hey, hey, hey, y'all
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: don't feel like knowing where we're going. Y'all don't feel
- 1:04:04Speaker 1: like no direction? Rik Bryan Earnest in here, Ernest Earnest.
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: Now here's here's the problem. Let's let's go back to
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: the kids. Listen, ma'am, y'all didn't plan. This is how
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: it is when you don't plan. Y'all didn't plan to
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: have folk kids. It just happened. Now, God blessed the kids,
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: because God brings everybody into the world. He doesn't he won't.
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: But y'all, y'all didn't plan on heap knees folk kids.
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: So since you didn't plan on the folk kids, guess what.
- 1:04:41Speaker 1: He don't have a plan to take care. I've always
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: encouraged him to look for a better job, and I
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: found him a few good job lease, but he won't
- 1:04:48Speaker 1: follow up on them. What is it about this man
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: that makes him the best man for you. I'm listening
- 1:04:55Speaker 1: to your letter, sister, and I'm trying to find out
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: what is it about this guy that's so special. He's
- 1:05:02Speaker 1: everything you wanted a man. He's nothing nobody else wants. Sheriley,
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: don't want it, call it don't wanted, Monica wanted. I
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: ain't nobody sign enough for this dude. Butch you your
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: daddy tired of his ass? Uh? Then then you say
- 1:05:19Speaker 1: he's complacent and this is the reason that we've been
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: engaged for so long. No, no, no, I hear you
- 1:05:28Speaker 1: saying that's the reason y'all have been engaged for so long.
- 1:05:32Speaker 1: He's not planning on marrying. He doesn't plan on taking
- 1:05:36Speaker 1: care of the kids. He has no plan for coming
- 1:05:38Speaker 1: up with the rent every month. He doesn't have a
- 1:05:41Speaker 1: plan on how to get a promotion. He doesn't have
- 1:05:44Speaker 1: a plan for looking for another job. He doesn't have
- 1:05:47Speaker 1: a plan to stop going to ask your daddy for money.
- 1:05:51Speaker 1: Do you understand I refused to set it. I refused
- 1:05:56Speaker 1: to set a wedding day because I'm terrified to marry
- 1:05:59Speaker 1: someone you can't provide our family. It's way more than that.
- 1:06:03Speaker 1: Why would you want to marry a man without a plan,
- 1:06:06Speaker 1: a dream or vision, no hopes for tomorrow, no get
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: up and go, no gumption, no desire, no drill. I
- 1:06:15Speaker 1: have no choice but to continue to work hard and
- 1:06:18Speaker 1: makes meet. I love this man, and I honestly don't
- 1:06:22Speaker 1: know how to motivate him to get it together. You
- 1:06:26Speaker 1: can't make nobody won't nothing. Huh. You can't make nobody
- 1:06:32Speaker 1: be something. You can want them to be all you want,
- 1:06:36Speaker 1: and to they decide they're gonna be something. You're wasting
- 1:06:39Speaker 1: your time. You're wasting your time now. He might be
- 1:06:43Speaker 1: a fun daddy for the kids, but you're buying all
- 1:06:47Speaker 1: the stuff because he don't even have money to to
- 1:06:52Speaker 1: pay for rent. So if you don't have the money
- 1:06:55Speaker 1: for rent, he ain't got no money for school supplies.
- 1:06:58Speaker 1: He ain't got no money for school close. He ain't
- 1:07:00Speaker 1: got no money for field trips. He ain't got no
- 1:07:03Speaker 1: money for iPhones. I pass all this stuff. Kids we
- 1:07:06Speaker 1: needn't sneakers, kids being kids, expensive man chase us kids
- 1:07:12Speaker 1: custom moey. And what happens is normally when people have kids,
- 1:07:16Speaker 1: it causes them to raise their game. You start really
- 1:07:20Speaker 1: bearing down. You know. A many times I've heard people
- 1:07:23Speaker 1: say man, I got these kids. I gotta get busy.
- 1:07:26Speaker 1: He ain't said that. All of us on this show
- 1:07:29Speaker 1: to have children. We hustle harder because of the kids,
- 1:07:33Speaker 1: all of us. And guess what. All of our kids
- 1:07:37Speaker 1: have needed stuff from us, and guess what they came
- 1:07:41Speaker 1: to us and guess who had it? He'll come us
- 1:07:46Speaker 1: still coming, dog. It is crazy. It is crazy, man.
- 1:07:55Speaker 1: So lady, I don't know what it is you're hanging
- 1:07:57Speaker 1: on too. You're trying to mote to vase a person
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: who don't want nothing. He doesn't want anything. You can't
- 1:08:08Speaker 1: motivate the person that's not looking to be motivated. He good,
- 1:08:15Speaker 1: He right where he want to be, and he don't
- 1:08:18Speaker 1: even like it. So let me just get to this
- 1:08:22Speaker 1: and this. I'm closed with this. This is what Marjorie's
- 1:08:26Speaker 1: mother tells her all the time, and told her, and
- 1:08:30Speaker 1: she said it to me a hundred times. And man,
- 1:08:32Speaker 1: I've heard my mama saying, Shirley, you probably heard Jorge.
- 1:08:36Speaker 1: I know tim of you to heard George, I know
- 1:08:39Speaker 1: calling you to heard George kill you to hendridan until
- 1:08:44Speaker 1: you get sick and tired or being sick and tired.
- 1:08:50Speaker 1: She go ahead and finish. Yes, until you get sick
- 1:08:54Speaker 1: and tired or being sick and tired, nothing is going
- 1:08:59Speaker 1: to happen. Alright, Steve, I think we'll leave it on
- 1:09:03Speaker 1: that note. Listen, email us, Instagram US your thoughts on
- 1:09:07Speaker 1: today's Strawberry letter at Steve Harvey FM. Coming up in
- 1:09:12Speaker 1: about ten minutes. Kanye goes to t m Z Live
- 1:09:16Speaker 1: one more time. We'll talk about it right after this.
- 1:09:21Speaker 1: You're listening to Steve Harvey Morning show. Alright, guys, So
- 1:09:25Speaker 1: yesterday Kanye stopped by t m Z again. He has
- 1:09:29Speaker 1: some splaining to do. Yeah. First of all, he talked
- 1:09:34Speaker 1: about his album this year already, right video out there too,
- 1:09:46Speaker 1: Keep driving. Alright, listen what he had to say about
- 1:09:51Speaker 1: his his album released, because it was supposed to be
- 1:09:54Speaker 1: really Saturday, but he pushed it back. Here's why you
- 1:09:57Speaker 1: said the album was coming out on Saturday. It didn't
- 1:09:59Speaker 1: come out. What happened? Um, I didn't finish it a
- 1:10:03Speaker 1: free A person, uh from my management staff, from our
- 1:10:07Speaker 1: management staff had suggested because the album is so good,
- 1:10:10Speaker 1: it's my you know, I've started incorporating like sounds that
- 1:10:15Speaker 1: you've never heard before and pushing in and having like,
- 1:10:18Speaker 1: you know, concepts that people don't you know talk about
- 1:10:23Speaker 1: we have we have concepts talking about you know, body
- 1:10:26Speaker 1: shaming and you know, women being looked down upon for
- 1:10:30Speaker 1: how many people that they slept with and uh, you
- 1:10:35Speaker 1: know it's um, it's just a full Yea album and
- 1:10:40Speaker 1: those five albums that I dropped earlier with like Superhero Rehabilitation. Yeah,
- 1:10:46Speaker 1: he says he wants to draw inspiration steven energy from
- 1:10:49Speaker 1: the earth in Africa and he's going to travel to Africa.
- 1:10:53Speaker 1: Yeah that's good. Yeah, that's good. And he was talking
- 1:10:56Speaker 1: to Harvey Levin from TMZ of course and them, and
- 1:11:00Speaker 1: it's yeah, he changed his name to yeah, okay, I'm
- 1:11:03Speaker 1: not going to do that, and the name of the
- 1:11:05Speaker 1: album is Yon Dye A little I've been calling Puffect
- 1:11:12Speaker 1: I'm set with did he and called him Puffing and
- 1:11:17Speaker 1: he was my favorite. I love Puffy. He cool with it.
- 1:11:23Speaker 1: But look, man, glad he went back to you know,
- 1:11:27Speaker 1: mappy again. Now I stayed down. Yeah, I don't do
- 1:11:38Speaker 1: name changes. But he changed the diddy because that's what
- 1:11:41Speaker 1: bigg he used to call him. Right, Yeah, see, I
- 1:11:43Speaker 1: don't I don't do name changes. Let's let's let's let's
- 1:11:46Speaker 1: go back to Kanye. Okay, So Kanye also said that
- 1:11:49Speaker 1: he used the wrong word steve when he said he
- 1:11:52Speaker 1: wanted to abolish the Thirteenth Amendment, which abolished slavery. He
- 1:11:56Speaker 1: got a lot of heat for that, a lot of
- 1:11:58Speaker 1: hate for that. He added that there's a better way
- 1:12:00Speaker 1: to change our constitution and he should have used the
- 1:12:02Speaker 1: word amend to take a listen, abolish was the wrong language.
- 1:12:06Speaker 1: I misspoke by saying abolish. Amend is the right language
- 1:12:10Speaker 1: and was awesome. I don't say dope because it's uh,
- 1:12:14Speaker 1: there's power and words so lovely. What's beautiful about our
- 1:12:18Speaker 1: constitution as we can amend it? Right? So, in eighteen
- 1:12:23Speaker 1: sixty five, the Thirteenth Amendments stated that no man is
- 1:12:26Speaker 1: destined to slavery or involuntary servitude unless convicted of a crime.
- 1:12:31Speaker 1: This translates to in order to make a freedman a slave,
- 1:12:36Speaker 1: all you have to do is convict them of a crime.
- 1:12:42Speaker 1: And who has the most convictions prisons, I mean, who
- 1:12:46Speaker 1: has a higher rated conction is disproportionately dominated by African
- 1:12:52Speaker 1: American men. Here's the problem. The majority of crimes in
- 1:12:56Speaker 1: this country are not committed by African Americans. Man. See
- 1:13:01Speaker 1: and so look, look, I understand where Kanye coming from
- 1:13:06Speaker 1: with the change in the statement from abolished to amend.
- 1:13:11Speaker 1: I can accept that here. I accept that he's, you
- 1:13:15Speaker 1: know what, He's trying to bring some unity. He's trying
- 1:13:21Speaker 1: to say more about love and words and power. I got,
- 1:13:27Speaker 1: I got all of that. The problem with it is
- 1:13:30Speaker 1: you're applying it to a person who don't want to
- 1:13:33Speaker 1: hear it. Our president shows no form of it, and
- 1:13:40Speaker 1: he has opportunities to do it over and over and
- 1:13:43Speaker 1: over again where he could be amending. You know, Nike
- 1:13:47Speaker 1: should be ashamed of themselves for pulling car wait man,
- 1:13:50Speaker 1: hold up dog because Nike put Colin Kaepernick. They should
- 1:13:54Speaker 1: be ashamed. No, no, they shouldn't. That's your constitution, freedom
- 1:14:00Speaker 1: of speech, the right as an American to protest. But
- 1:14:04Speaker 1: because you want to use it as a political thing
- 1:14:07Speaker 1: now you don't want Colin Kabernick to ever raise his
- 1:14:10Speaker 1: head again. Oh did this country not forgive you when
- 1:14:16Speaker 1: you was on that bus with Billy Buddy? That's how you.
- 1:14:19Speaker 1: The president is beyond me. After that, Hey, Steve, not
- 1:14:22Speaker 1: to interrupt, but he did say he was going to
- 1:14:24Speaker 1: take Colin Kaepernick to the White House. He did say
- 1:14:27Speaker 1: that Kanye said that he did say that Colin. Don't
- 1:14:31Speaker 1: want to Colin, listen to me. Don't listen to me,
- 1:14:37Speaker 1: listen to me. Don't care your ass up there with him.
- 1:14:43Speaker 1: He's a good deal now with NIKEE. Don't looking good
- 1:14:46Speaker 1: for you. Don't don't go up there with him. That
- 1:14:49Speaker 1: ain't what you want to do all over. Don't drive
- 1:14:53Speaker 1: Kanye up there if he's listening to me. If anybody
- 1:14:58Speaker 1: can tell you not to, it's me. And I didn't
- 1:15:04Speaker 1: even go to the damn White House. Listen to me.
- 1:15:12Speaker 1: Don't even just on my timeline. The other day, I
- 1:15:16Speaker 1: put a picture up of me and Dr Field. I
- 1:15:18Speaker 1: played golf with my buddy's son to Yeah, I'm going
- 1:15:22Speaker 1: down to comments man, two of my favorite blah blah
- 1:15:25Speaker 1: blah blah blah. Somebody said to hateful Trump supporters, dog dog,
- 1:15:34Speaker 1: don't support Trump. Damn showed on support Trump. If people
- 1:15:41Speaker 1: out there, that's just crazy, man. So do not go
- 1:15:45Speaker 1: to the White House with college. Well, he said Kanye.
- 1:15:49Speaker 1: Kanye said he was gonna take Colin unless you get
- 1:15:53Speaker 1: a pre guarantee. Dog, This ain't gonna work out. That's
- 1:15:58Speaker 1: not gonna work out. How I'm gonna work out for
- 1:16:01Speaker 1: you man not We're easy. You go up there with
- 1:16:06Speaker 1: you can't go up there. Take it from someone who knows.
- 1:16:13Speaker 1: Don't don't want that, don't trying to do none of it.
- 1:16:18Speaker 1: Don't go there, don't go up there trying to do nothing. No,
- 1:16:23Speaker 1: don't go up there with no damn, Jim, I ain't
- 1:16:26Speaker 1: going up that try to help. No damn. All right, listen,
- 1:16:30Speaker 1: we're gonna move from Kanye to comedy roulette. We'll play
- 1:16:34Speaker 1: that when we come back right after this. You're listening
- 1:16:37Speaker 1: to Steve Show. Alright, guys, it is time for a
- 1:16:43Speaker 1: comedy roulette. J take it away. Let me set it
- 1:16:47Speaker 1: up because we get new listeners all the time and
- 1:16:51Speaker 1: they're not familiar with this bit. So the reason I
- 1:16:54Speaker 1: set it up is because new people that come to
- 1:16:58Speaker 1: the show the show, but just it's not something they
- 1:17:02Speaker 1: normally here. So he's high. We set it up and
- 1:17:13Speaker 1: I can't tell him intimes. I heard that. Give us
- 1:17:17Speaker 1: four damn subjects. Put them on a wheel, spun the
- 1:17:21Speaker 1: wheel where it's stop. Will do the damn thing, because
- 1:17:24Speaker 1: we's comedians do it all right. No number one, not
- 1:17:27Speaker 1: only did he not have insurance when he passed away,
- 1:17:31Speaker 1: but number two number two. I don't know what they're
- 1:17:38Speaker 1: doing upstairs, but it sounds like they're number three. Stuff
- 1:17:46Speaker 1: for him. Peg Man says, okay, number four. Oh she
- 1:17:55Speaker 1: works at the strip club, but she just works in
- 1:17:57Speaker 1: the kitchen. Okay, yeah, wing yea, hey, spend it. Let's go, David,
- 1:18:05Speaker 1: I strip. I want what's upstair? Yeah, you guys will
- 1:18:15Speaker 1: be shocked on this one. Uh it stopped at number three,
- 1:18:18Speaker 1: stuffed the npeg Man says, come to Roulette stuff for
- 1:18:25Speaker 1: hnpec Man said, you asked it because she already told
- 1:18:28Speaker 1: me no one time. Yeah, yeah, stuff parents sold my
- 1:18:37Speaker 1: uncles all eaves in his laugh. Babe, baby, when you
- 1:18:43Speaker 1: want me turn your greens on? Man said Debra say,
- 1:18:53Speaker 1: I'm in husband training right now. That's really what I'm going.
- 1:18:57Speaker 1: It's just hub. I've got two more weeks of this user.
- 1:19:06Speaker 1: I'm not whipped. I'm not whipped. And my wife told
- 1:19:17Speaker 1: me to tell you all that. I'll tell you. I'll
- 1:19:23Speaker 1: tell you what a hand. Peck Man says, right here,
- 1:19:26Speaker 1: what baby? Can I go outside like a kid? No,
- 1:19:35Speaker 1: you can't go with he hear, I got the last
- 1:19:39Speaker 1: words at my house. Okay, I got the last words
- 1:19:42Speaker 1: at my house all right. It just happens to be.
- 1:19:45Speaker 1: I'm sorry, but I got I know what I'm doing.

- 1:21:03Speaker 1: Don't nobody else do that. I got it to us
- 1:21:09Speaker 1: stuff in him. Peg Man said, y'all let me out
- 1:21:11Speaker 1: at the corner because if the cob pull up to
- 1:21:13Speaker 1: the house, it'll wake huge pans say, put your funk down.
- 1:21:27Speaker 1: We can't eat before her. We can't eat. I visited.
- 1:21:34Speaker 1: I can't eat for huck my wife, mama is my
- 1:21:44Speaker 1: best friend. Say that that's funny. They listen. I know
- 1:21:55Speaker 1: we're in the middle of the game and everything, but
- 1:21:57Speaker 1: y'all run me home because I got to dry her off.
- 1:21:59Speaker 1: When you get you know, talking about the sexicond. Come,

- 1:23:49Speaker 1: for Breast cancer Awareness month. Rina Williams, Yes, yes, yes, yes, um.
- 1:23:56Speaker 1: She shared a revealing video on Instagram and when she
- 1:23:59Speaker 1: sings the Divine Olds, I touched myself to urge women
- 1:24:04Speaker 1: to check themselves for lumps. Okay, I didn't know that
- 1:24:07Speaker 1: was that's a breast cancer song. Well, no, it's not
- 1:24:12Speaker 1: for that. To make a point, she used way somewhere else. Yeah,
- 1:24:19Speaker 1: she wrote, Yes, this put me out of my comfort zone,
- 1:24:21Speaker 1: but I wanted to do it because it's an issue
- 1:24:24Speaker 1: that affects all women of color, of of all women
- 1:24:27Speaker 1: of all colors all around the world. Early detection, of course,
- 1:24:31Speaker 1: is the key. It saves so many lives. I just
- 1:24:34Speaker 1: hope this helps to remind women of that. Serena added
- 1:24:38Speaker 1: that her video was part of the I Touched Myself project,
- 1:24:41Speaker 1: which was created in memory of the Divinyl singer Christie Amphlett,
- 1:24:44Speaker 1: who passed away from breast cancer back in two thousand thirteen.
- 1:24:48Speaker 1: And you guys are aware that Carl and I will
- 1:24:51Speaker 1: be in Chicago, Carla on your birthday, October thirteen. That

- 1:26:01Speaker 1: I can? I m you guys were so good in
- 1:26:05Speaker 1: Comedy Roulette last break. I was just wondering if there

- 1:26:13Speaker 1: with the subject and then you know, and the and

- 1:26:21Speaker 1: guys have more? Okay, okay, it's one one? Yeah, may
- 1:26:26Speaker 1: here my whole check. Yeah, I love it. We like that.
- 1:26:33Speaker 1: That was a good one. I just took a couple
- 1:26:35Speaker 1: of dollars for my sins. Yeah, yes, yes, uh n
- 1:26:40Speaker 1: can I can I go pee? I shut up because
- 1:26:52Speaker 1: she said shut up. These are things. A hen pecked
- 1:27:00Speaker 1: man says, Okay, Steve, you have one. Let's close it
- 1:27:07Speaker 1: up here pick dude right here. Okay, I bet my
- 1:27:12Speaker 1: wife can whoop your heir. What you're talking to a dude.
- 1:27:33Speaker 1: I'm not embarrassed about it at all. Up, we gotta
- 1:27:38Speaker 1: get out of here for all you handpact guys. We'll
- 1:27:42Speaker 1: be back right after this with more of the Steve
- 1:27:44Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:27:48Speaker 1: Cardi b turned herself into New York police on Monday
- 1:27:52Speaker 1: over charges simming from a fight at a strip club.
- 1:27:55Speaker 1: According to CBS News, Cardi faces charges of reckless endangerment assault.
- 1:28:01Speaker 1: She was involved in an altercation at Angels, Gentleman's Club
- 1:28:05Speaker 1: and Queen's Back on August twenty nine, just a few
- 1:28:08Speaker 1: days ago. I'll tell you just hold on. According to TMZ,
- 1:28:12Speaker 1: Cardi will be charged for allegedly ordering an attack on
- 1:28:15Speaker 1: two bartender sisters. Their names are Jade and Batty g Uh.
- 1:28:21Speaker 1: They say Carti had a long standing beef with Jade,
- 1:28:24Speaker 1: especially because Cardie believed that Jade had slept with her
- 1:28:27Speaker 1: husband Offset all right, this is what the stemmed from.
- 1:28:31Speaker 1: Cardi is scheduled to be arraigned in October. On the
- 1:28:35Speaker 1: twenty ninth of October to be exact Yeah, I thought
- 1:28:38Speaker 1: it was a strimp. I thought they were naked. She
- 1:28:41Speaker 1: just has so so she's a bartender girl. The girl,
- 1:28:47Speaker 1: yeah yeah, yeah, she's ader so Cardie jumped on her
- 1:28:51Speaker 1: so allegedly yeah yeah, coca hooka pipes. So okay. It
- 1:29:00Speaker 1: happened to the husband though, because if the girl got
- 1:29:02Speaker 1: the chairs throw it at him, Yeah, oh what did
- 1:29:07Speaker 1: Cardi do to He's got a little fiery temper, you know, man.
- 1:29:15Speaker 1: But you know, I wish I really wish her the
- 1:29:18Speaker 1: best because she's so talented. Man. I don't want this
- 1:29:22Speaker 1: stuff to get in the way of her possibly doing
- 1:29:25Speaker 1: the Super Bowl, which could throw her career into the stratosphere.
- 1:29:30Speaker 1: And you know, man, you do you know what, man,
- 1:29:32Speaker 1: we just have to be mindful because you know, there
- 1:29:36Speaker 1: there is a sickness out there now, you know, uh
- 1:29:39Speaker 1: and and and and I'm being really serious. There's a
- 1:29:42Speaker 1: real sickness out there. There. There's a there's a there's
- 1:29:45Speaker 1: a new evil spirit and it's it's and it's the Internet, man.
- 1:29:50Speaker 1: And they just do everything to people and they will
- 1:29:56Speaker 1: not let it go. There is no mercy on the Internet.
- 1:30:00Speaker 1: I've never seen anything like this. People can't make mistakes
- 1:30:04Speaker 1: because it lives on the internet and ye and there
- 1:30:10Speaker 1: by fighting and then all then the lies. You know what.
- 1:30:18Speaker 1: That's why whence Um Kevin Hart was here last week, Steve,
- 1:30:23Speaker 1: he was talking. We were asking him a lot of
- 1:30:24Speaker 1: questions on and off the air, but off the air
- 1:30:26Speaker 1: he kept saying, I go home, I go home. I
- 1:30:30Speaker 1: go home, I go home. Yeah, he said, you don't
- 1:30:34Speaker 1: go out, Kevin. I'm in my house. I go home.
- 1:30:37Speaker 1: And how many times have you heard me say that? Oh? Yes,
- 1:30:41Speaker 1: we said yes so many times. Because you can't get
- 1:30:46Speaker 1: caught out there, because people are waiting for that moment
- 1:30:49Speaker 1: when you fall. They're waiting for this. Man. I wish
- 1:30:52Speaker 1: I could remember. I wish I could see the slogan
- 1:30:56Speaker 1: that somebody put up. It was so good about your rise,
- 1:31:02Speaker 1: and it's it's just evil out there, man, and the
- 1:31:05Speaker 1: sadness of it is. You know, I really do feel
- 1:31:09Speaker 1: sod Man. I'm gonna make a statement when we come back.
- 1:31:12Speaker 1: I just want to say something. Yeah, and we who
- 1:31:15Speaker 1: know it's out there, we got to start exercising better
- 1:31:18Speaker 1: self control. If we can't, we can't let these people
- 1:31:22Speaker 1: take us there. We just can't, because that's what they're
- 1:31:24Speaker 1: trying to do. They're trying to get you. They are,
- 1:31:27Speaker 1: so either go home or ignore them. Something. You gotta
- 1:31:31Speaker 1: do something, Yeah, you have to. Alright, we'll be back
- 1:31:34Speaker 1: with the last break of the day. Uh. And Steve's
- 1:31:37Speaker 1: closing remarks right after this at forty nine after the hour.
- 1:31:41Speaker 1: You're listening to show. All right, Steve, if you have
- 1:31:45Speaker 1: some closing remarks, you want to take us home with
- 1:31:47Speaker 1: you know what? Um my closing remarks to day? Uh,
- 1:31:53Speaker 1: I mean, you know it. This one hits hits home
- 1:31:56Speaker 1: with me often. But this affects everybody because everybody experiences
- 1:32:04Speaker 1: some form of hate. It is amazing though, because now
- 1:32:12Speaker 1: hate is running rampant at an all time high. I've
- 1:32:17Speaker 1: never seen it this way, and I'm sixty one years old.
- 1:32:21Speaker 1: I've never seen hate at this level before. And one
- 1:32:25Speaker 1: of the main contributors to hate it just happens to
- 1:32:29Speaker 1: be something that was meant to share information at a
- 1:32:33Speaker 1: rapid pace, which was the Internet. It was a way
- 1:32:36Speaker 1: to google and research and find and spread information. And man,
- 1:32:41Speaker 1: it has been so misused and abused. It is now
- 1:32:46Speaker 1: created a time that I've yet seen in my life,
- 1:32:51Speaker 1: and I suffer from it, just like everybody. Else does hate. Man,
- 1:32:57Speaker 1: it's just people and because of the inn in net,
- 1:33:00Speaker 1: because somebody can make a little bit of money offer
- 1:33:06Speaker 1: eyeballs on their site. They don't care what they do
- 1:33:09Speaker 1: to get the eyeballs. They don't care what they do.
- 1:33:14Speaker 1: They don't care who they hurt, they don't care who
- 1:33:17Speaker 1: they bring down. They don't care anything about damage. They
- 1:33:21Speaker 1: don't care anything about that. It's it's such a self
- 1:33:26Speaker 1: selfish thing that people do. But let me say this
- 1:33:29Speaker 1: to you, if I were you, when you uh participate
- 1:33:38Speaker 1: in the art, the skill for art of hating, when
- 1:33:43Speaker 1: you take time to manifest yourself through the act of hatred,
- 1:33:50Speaker 1: when you intentionally do stuff to someone in the form
- 1:33:53Speaker 1: of hate, you have to be careful because here is
- 1:33:58Speaker 1: one guarantee. M it's going to come back to you.
- 1:34:05Speaker 1: You can't. Whatever you put out returns. If you put
- 1:34:09Speaker 1: out prayer, the answer to prayer returns. If you put
- 1:34:13Speaker 1: out love, more people of love you. If you stick
- 1:34:15Speaker 1: out your hand to shake hands, more people will shake
- 1:34:18Speaker 1: hands with you. If you put out hate, I promise
- 1:34:23Speaker 1: you hate is going to come your way. The sad
- 1:34:28Speaker 1: thing about it is people think that because if they
- 1:34:31Speaker 1: hide behind the anonymity of a fake page or a
- 1:34:35Speaker 1: private page that that clears them. Well, it doesn't. The
- 1:34:41Speaker 1: sad thing young people is that when you hate, hate
- 1:34:45Speaker 1: doesn't necessarily come back to you the exact way you
- 1:34:47Speaker 1: put it out. It comes back to you in a
- 1:34:52Speaker 1: negative form. Just because you talked about somebody else, don't
- 1:34:56Speaker 1: mean somebody gonna talk about you. It could be you
- 1:34:59Speaker 1: never hear them talking about you, but they plant something
- 1:35:02Speaker 1: about you that stops you from moving forward. They say
- 1:35:05Speaker 1: something about you that causes you not to get to promotion.
- 1:35:08Speaker 1: They say something about you that causes you to have
- 1:35:11Speaker 1: a breakup. They say something about you that causes your
- 1:35:14Speaker 1: kids to look at you crazy. You can't spend your
- 1:35:18Speaker 1: time hating people and think nothing's going to happen to you.
- 1:35:22Speaker 1: Hate is such a wasted form of information. If you
- 1:35:27Speaker 1: could take the time that it took for you to
- 1:35:30Speaker 1: hate on a person and put it towards the uplift
- 1:35:33Speaker 1: and edification of yourself, you actually could turn yourself into something.
- 1:35:39Speaker 1: You really could. But you're spending so much time in
- 1:35:43Speaker 1: the destruction of others. You think that builds you up.
- 1:35:47Speaker 1: You think that's going to get you somewhere. It doesn't. Man,
- 1:35:51Speaker 1: it's a sad place we're in right now. It's a
- 1:35:55Speaker 1: very sad place. And the reason we have so much
- 1:35:59Speaker 1: hate right now, it's because hatred begets hatred. You got
- 1:36:06Speaker 1: so much of it going around that so much of
- 1:36:09Speaker 1: it got to come around. You got so much of
- 1:36:12Speaker 1: it coming around that so much more of it has
- 1:36:14Speaker 1: to go out back around. It's called calma. It's called
- 1:36:20Speaker 1: do unto others as you would have them do unto you.
- 1:36:24Speaker 1: People think that scripture, You thought that was just on
- 1:36:27Speaker 1: the back of a Sunday school class card. No, sir,
- 1:36:30Speaker 1: read it applies to you as a full fledged adult.
- 1:36:35Speaker 1: Do unto others. See, this is a principle of God.
- 1:36:39Speaker 1: This is where we're really missing it about hate. Do
- 1:36:42Speaker 1: unto others as you would have them do unto you.
- 1:36:47Speaker 1: So now, if you do unto others inform of hate,
- 1:36:54Speaker 1: that's what you're asking to be done to you. But
- 1:36:57Speaker 1: the incredible thing of it is it comes back to
- 1:37:01Speaker 1: you in some other form. You think, because you've hidden
- 1:37:05Speaker 1: behind a fake page or a fake I G account
- 1:37:10Speaker 1: or a private page, that that clears you. It doesn't
- 1:37:14Speaker 1: clear you. It doesn't. It manifests itself in your life
- 1:37:20Speaker 1: in so many ways. And you're all you can look.
- 1:37:26Speaker 1: All you got to do is look at a person's position,
- 1:37:31Speaker 1: and it oftentimes explains something about them. If you see
- 1:37:38Speaker 1: a personator I always hating, that ain't ever happy. That
- 1:37:43Speaker 1: just sends a signal to me that he spread a
- 1:37:45Speaker 1: bunch of discord in his life. So now he ain't
- 1:37:49Speaker 1: happy or she ain't happy. Young people, you would do
- 1:37:53Speaker 1: yourself a great service if you would get out of
- 1:37:56Speaker 1: the hate business. Because here's the other thing. You can't
- 1:38:01Speaker 1: stop nothing that God has for somebody else. Try as
- 1:38:06Speaker 1: you may, you will fail. Listen to me, hatred is
- 1:38:12Speaker 1: such a useless emotion. Take hate out your life. Stop hating.
- 1:38:17Speaker 1: And when you get hated, on handling, just handling. Stay
- 1:38:22Speaker 1: on the wall. Those are my closing walls. Drop it,
- 1:38:26Speaker 1: drop that. Have a great weekend for all. Steve. Every
