- 0:38Speaker 1: I don't join me, join you doing me. You gotta
- 0:59Speaker 1: u turn. You gotta turn to turn them out. Turn
- 1:43Speaker 1: you haven't got to turn them out. Then turn the
- 1:46Speaker 1: water the water. Come come on your faddy. Uh huh,
- 2:02Speaker 1: I show will good morning everybody you're listening to the voice.
- 2:07Speaker 1: Come on dig me now, one and only Steve Harvey
- 2:09Speaker 1: oh Man got a radio show. Man got a radio show,
- 2:13Speaker 1: and a whole lot more too. Man. God is good
- 2:16Speaker 1: to me. I have no other explanation if you. I
- 2:19Speaker 1: have no other explanation of my existence and where I
- 2:23Speaker 1: stand in this thing called life, except if it was
- 2:26Speaker 1: not for the goodness of God Almighty. If it was
- 2:30Speaker 1: not for His grace and his mercy, There's no way
- 2:34Speaker 1: I could exist the way that I do. I would
- 2:37Speaker 1: not be who I am or where I am. I
- 2:39Speaker 1: am who I am and where I am simply because
- 2:44Speaker 1: God is who he is. If it was not for God,
- 2:49Speaker 1: I would have no testimony for you. Because I would
- 2:53Speaker 1: have failed every single test, plain, pure and simple. I
- 2:59Speaker 1: can sit here today until you flat out that it
- 3:03Speaker 1: is purely because of God's grace and mercy that I
- 3:08Speaker 1: exist today because of His favor. See now, He shows
- 3:13Speaker 1: us favor in life because of a combination of things
- 3:17Speaker 1: I've discovered. And this is not the whole answer to life.
- 3:21Speaker 1: I can assure you as not. But this is a
- 3:24Speaker 1: combination that I've grown to understand better and better, and
- 3:28Speaker 1: I wish I had gotten it earlier in my life.
- 3:31Speaker 1: But here it is. If you take faith and you
- 3:38Speaker 1: combine it with an incredible work ethic, then God has
- 3:49Speaker 1: the greatest opportunities to show you favor. One more time.
- 3:56Speaker 1: If you take faith. I said faith because in the
- 4:01Speaker 1: Scripture it says you can have the faith of a mustancy,
- 4:04Speaker 1: the smallest of all sees. If you take faith and
- 4:08Speaker 1: you combine it with an incredible work ethic, it allows
- 4:13Speaker 1: the most opportunities for God to show you favor. That's
- 4:19Speaker 1: the best way I can explain success to you from
- 4:23Speaker 1: my standpoint. It is the combination of faith and work
- 4:28Speaker 1: that produces the most opportunities for God to show you favor.
- 4:34Speaker 1: See a lot of times we want God to bless us,
- 4:36Speaker 1: but we ain't doing nothing for Him to bless So
- 4:40Speaker 1: now we sideways in the equation a little bit. But see,
- 4:43Speaker 1: if you had the faith in God that God can
- 4:47Speaker 1: do anything but fail, that God will get you through,
- 4:51Speaker 1: that God will see you through, that that God is
- 4:54Speaker 1: the God you serve as the greatest gift of all
- 4:57Speaker 1: good things. If you kept that faith int act through
- 5:00Speaker 1: it all, and you produced an incredible work ethic that
- 5:06Speaker 1: allows the most opportunities for God to show you favor. See,
- 5:13Speaker 1: without that what you want God to do? See, you
- 5:16Speaker 1: can have faith and be sitting at the house watching TV.
- 5:20Speaker 1: There's nothing being produced, no opportunities for God to show
- 5:25Speaker 1: you favor. And you got to do some things man,
- 5:30Speaker 1: that you are uncomfortable doing, or don't feel like doing,
- 5:34Speaker 1: or something that don't have the right payoff right in
- 5:37Speaker 1: front of your face, with the faith that it will
- 5:40Speaker 1: payoff later on. See, too many people are working for
- 5:44Speaker 1: the right now reward, and the right now reward is
- 5:47Speaker 1: not how it works. Sometimes the reward is coming later
- 5:51Speaker 1: on up the road. But the only way you can
- 5:54Speaker 1: know that is if you got to You got to
- 5:56Speaker 1: apply the faith and see the reason you don't know
- 5:59Speaker 1: that that's coming like that, or you have to have
- 6:03Speaker 1: faith to believe that it is coming. Because faith is
- 6:06Speaker 1: the belief in things that you cannot see. That's what
- 6:11Speaker 1: faith is. Look, man, it's easy to believe in something
- 6:16Speaker 1: you can see. That's it. Ain't ain't nothing. What what
- 6:20Speaker 1: that take? You know? You're standing that Let me give
- 6:23Speaker 1: you them. You're standing at the crosswalk with with a
- 6:26Speaker 1: walk sign on it and the sign flashing on the corner.
- 6:29Speaker 1: Don't walk then that the signs say walk. What do
- 6:35Speaker 1: you think your chances are making it across that street?
- 6:38Speaker 1: Is well? Pretty good because guess what the signs say walk.
- 6:43Speaker 1: You can see the other side. There's other people in
- 6:46Speaker 1: the crosswalk walking, So guess what you strike out blindly?
- 6:50Speaker 1: It don't take a lot of faith to get across
- 6:52Speaker 1: that street. That's that's That's not why I'm talking to
- 6:56Speaker 1: you about. I'm talking about the faith, the belief in
- 6:59Speaker 1: things that you cannot see, the faith that what I'm
- 7:03Speaker 1: doing today, I believe in my heart of heart that
- 7:08Speaker 1: God wouldn't bring me this far to leave me. That
- 7:11Speaker 1: God is a true and living God, that he keeps
- 7:13Speaker 1: his promises. That later on there's things that I'm working
- 7:16Speaker 1: towards right now, gonna pay off later on. See, too
- 7:19Speaker 1: many people want to reward right now. They want to
- 7:22Speaker 1: go to work Friday. Get to check Saturday. You know,
- 7:26Speaker 1: we want to work Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday. Get to
- 7:28Speaker 1: check Friday. If somebody come to you and say, hey, man,
- 7:33Speaker 1: if you do this Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, then
- 7:36Speaker 1: you do this Saturday, and come back and do this Monday, Thuday, Friday.
- 7:40Speaker 1: In the long run it to pay off. And you say, man,
- 7:42Speaker 1: I ain't gonna do all that. See, that's not the
- 7:45Speaker 1: exhibition of faith. If it's the right thing to do,
- 7:51Speaker 1: if it's if it's a good thing to do, if
- 7:53Speaker 1: it's a just thing to do. See, if it's sin
- 7:56Speaker 1: in it, it ain't God. He can't just clear on
- 7:59Speaker 1: up right there. You can stop all the wandering. If
- 8:02Speaker 1: that's his voice talking to you, if it's the right
- 8:05Speaker 1: thing to do, if it's sin in it, it's not
- 8:09Speaker 1: God talking to you, kill it you you can shut
- 8:13Speaker 1: it down. You ain't got to wonder about it. Go
- 8:15Speaker 1: down there in secret venge. That ain't God. Go tell
- 8:18Speaker 1: him off when you see him. That ain't God. Anything
- 8:21Speaker 1: that's God's sin in it is not God's voice telling
- 8:24Speaker 1: you to do it. So you can you can kill
- 8:26Speaker 1: that conversation to date. That's how you know. But if
- 8:29Speaker 1: you align yourself up man and you and what you're
- 8:32Speaker 1: doing is just and right and correct and pleasing in
- 8:35Speaker 1: the sight of God, it'll pay off for you later on.
- 8:40Speaker 1: And see here's here's here's the best way I can
- 8:43Speaker 1: tell to it. Here's another one. When you're going somewhere,
- 8:48Speaker 1: when you're when you're on the road to going somewhere,
- 8:52Speaker 1: and you know the somewhere that you're trying to get to.
- 8:55Speaker 1: Let's say you've set a goal or vision for yourself.
- 8:57Speaker 1: You know where you want to get to. You gotta
- 8:59Speaker 1: got a good idea, and you own your way to
- 9:02Speaker 1: going there. Listen to me when it gets hard, and
- 9:06Speaker 1: it is going to get hard, when it gets difficult,
- 9:10Speaker 1: and it is going to get difficult, when it becomes challenging,
- 9:14Speaker 1: and it is going to become challenging, when it becomes
- 9:17Speaker 1: all three of those things. When it don't look like
- 9:20Speaker 1: it's gonna happen, listen to me. Don't stop and complain
- 9:25Speaker 1: so much. But see, I know he didn't bless me.
- 9:29Speaker 1: But in the middle of it, man, I felt a
- 9:31Speaker 1: little heavy. And you got to be careful when it
- 9:34Speaker 1: gets hard for you, because you'll find yourself complaining. And
- 9:37Speaker 1: when you're complaining. See, what you can't do is you
- 9:41Speaker 1: can't complain so much that you forget that the place
- 9:47Speaker 1: that you're trying to go to, you actually own your
- 9:49Speaker 1: way there still. See, don't get caught up into complaining
- 9:54Speaker 1: and then lose sight of your blessing that's actually happening.
- 9:57Speaker 1: It to you? What really, man, of all the times
- 10:01Speaker 1: to register a complaint to God, to sit up and go, hey, man,
- 10:05Speaker 1: I didn't want wanted to ease back into this thing.
- 10:08Speaker 1: Ease back in, man, you in it's it's a tornado
- 10:12Speaker 1: world around you. You You ain't got time to ease back in.
- 10:14Speaker 1: You got it going, and jump back in it. It
- 10:17Speaker 1: is what it is. To whom much is given, much
- 10:19Speaker 1: is required. Always appreciate the blessing. Don't get so caught
- 10:23Speaker 1: up into complaints that you lose sight of the blessings. Man,
- 10:26Speaker 1: God got a lot for you in your life, man,
- 10:28Speaker 1: but you gotta have them two things, y'all. You gotta
- 10:31Speaker 1: take that faith and you got to apply a crazy
- 10:35Speaker 1: work ethic to it and that creates the most opportunities
- 10:39Speaker 1: for God to show your favor. And when God starts
- 10:42Speaker 1: showing your favor, Man, all of them seeds you planted,
- 10:45Speaker 1: all of that, all of that wheat you've been sewing,
- 10:48Speaker 1: all of that hard work you've been put in. God
- 10:51Speaker 1: will pay it off, and he'll pay it off in
- 10:53Speaker 1: ways that you don't even see coming. Okay, cool, you're
- 10:57Speaker 1: listening to show all right, everybody? It is Friday, Friday, Friday.
- 11:06Speaker 1: I don't like you're happy? Wow? You are listening to
- 11:13Speaker 1: the Steve Having Morning Show. Where Jack happy Friday? Baby? Yeah? Friday, Yeah,
- 11:22Speaker 1: call up around in the house. Never mad on a Friday.
- 11:26Speaker 1: What's up? Jay? Am I writing partner in crime? Junior?
- 11:29Speaker 1: What's up? Man? Friday morning? Everybody in the Man of
- 11:34Speaker 1: a thousand shows in my hometown this weekend. Come in,
- 11:38Speaker 1: what's up? Come in your yame? Oh it was a
- 11:42Speaker 1: blast last night. Baby. Columbia, South Kaka, like boy, I
- 11:46Speaker 1: like your hometown South Carolina. Man, it's Columbia. Well you
- 11:49Speaker 1: know that. I like you going to the thicket. Did
- 11:52Speaker 1: you step over to the They ain't been nowhere, but
- 11:55Speaker 1: I'm just the thicket. Man. You gonna go to the thicket,
- 11:59Speaker 1: you can get something. Okay, what do I order at
- 12:01Speaker 1: the thicket? You want to get the Oprahs? You want
- 12:04Speaker 1: to get the smug chicken? You want to get the
- 12:08Speaker 1: did you say okras? You're gonna get more than once.
- 12:13Speaker 1: It's a lot of them. It's gonna fall out your bonehead.
- 12:18Speaker 1: And the smugged chicken and rice engraving and the iced
- 12:22Speaker 1: tea so sweet a diabetic can pull up in the lock. Really,
- 12:28Speaker 1: you have a good time? Come all right? All right?
- 12:30Speaker 1: What a nephew is here? And last night was good?
- 12:34Speaker 1: The rest of the weekend it is pretty much soul
- 12:36Speaker 1: out with us too. Tonight to Saturday and one on Sunday.
- 12:40Speaker 1: It's a couple of tickets here and there. But my
- 12:42Speaker 1: show by gone. I'm wait a minute enough. So what
- 12:46Speaker 1: was the he were telling us right before we got
- 12:48Speaker 1: here about you had a heckler or something in the audience.
- 12:51Speaker 1: Oh my god, Shirley, huh, I had a blind heckler
- 12:56Speaker 1: last night? Are y'all here? What happened? What happened? We
- 13:00Speaker 1: heard you? What happened? Oh? We just we was going
- 13:04Speaker 1: back and forth. But I wanted to make you know what.
- 13:06Speaker 1: I didn't want to cross the line. But he kept
- 13:10Speaker 1: digging and what was it about you? He didn't like?
- 13:14Speaker 1: Why did he start heckling? Yeah? You know what? You
- 13:17Speaker 1: know what? The club owner told me. We have a
- 13:19Speaker 1: blind person here tonight. He loves his show, he loves
- 13:22Speaker 1: the radio show. He's here. I just want you to
- 13:25Speaker 1: know he's here, and he might, you know, scream out loud.
- 13:27Speaker 1: I was like, what do you mean to scream out loud? For? What?
- 13:29Speaker 1: What did he screaming loud? He? I was like, hey,
- 13:34Speaker 1: you the blind dude, and we went from there. He
- 13:38Speaker 1: started heckling, he started, But I had so much fun. Man, Listen,
- 13:44Speaker 1: he is staying here the rest of the weekend and
- 13:46Speaker 1: I'm taking care of his hotel. We are having fun.
- 13:49Speaker 1: But he's still gonna come and heckle you. You do
- 13:52Speaker 1: realize now what you're not gonna do is I take
- 13:54Speaker 1: care of your room and you heckled me too. No,
- 13:57Speaker 1: he don't do it though, Yeah, how you He's hanging
- 14:01Speaker 1: out with what he wants to see the whole Something
- 14:06Speaker 1: happened across the line I've been doing. Oh I ate
- 14:14Speaker 1: him up, jun, But I'm just saying a man is
- 14:16Speaker 1: hanging out with me this weekend. Oh you can't stay
- 14:20Speaker 1: on the air. That's what it is. That's what it is,
- 14:25Speaker 1: all right, listen, coming up in thirty two after the hour,
- 14:28Speaker 1: there's a shortage of the most popular Christmas tree. What
- 14:32Speaker 1: whoa yeah, wait a minute, we'll talk about that when
- 14:38Speaker 1: we come back at thirty two after the hour right
- 14:40Speaker 1: after this you're listening to show. Well, guys, there is
- 14:46Speaker 1: a shortage of the most popular Christmas tree. And if
- 14:49Speaker 1: you can't get your favorite tree for Christmas, thank the
- 14:52Speaker 1: two thousand and eight recession. Okay, uh, it's called the
- 14:55Speaker 1: Noble fur. That's the one that's considered the long standing
- 14:59Speaker 1: symbol is so created with the Christmas season, but this
- 15:02Speaker 1: year they may be hard to come by. Guy, as
- 15:04Speaker 1: a Pacific North Northwest Christmas Tree Association, I didn't even
- 15:08Speaker 1: know about this. The Pacific Northwest Christmas Tree Association. Oh
- 15:12Speaker 1: do you remember? Yeah, you're on the board. Anyway, they
- 15:17Speaker 1: said there's a tree shortage all across the country. The
- 15:21Speaker 1: organization says a shortage is due to the great Recession
- 15:24Speaker 1: that happened back in two thousand and eight when there
- 15:27Speaker 1: was a huge surplus, promoting growers to plant fewer trees
- 15:30Speaker 1: to save money. Okay, so US shoppers can't expect a
- 15:35Speaker 1: smaller amount of trees to pick from, and the trees
- 15:37Speaker 1: that are available will likely cost nearly ten percent more. Okay, yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 15:44Speaker 1: I already have my tree. That tree, man fern the
- 15:59Speaker 1: hustle hand, Yeah, and listening. The tree is eighty nine dollars.
- 16:05Speaker 1: What was that down in good times? That soul everything had?
- 16:08Speaker 1: That was Linny Man. Yeah, Joe, you never worked with Lenny? No, yes,
- 16:14Speaker 1: I did. He actually came to a Marverick flat when
- 16:16Speaker 1: I was working on He was a stand up comedian.
- 16:18Speaker 1: You absolutely right, man. My name is Linn and you
- 16:23Speaker 1: ain't had any until you try sweet Lenny. And it
- 16:26Speaker 1: can't be that. I got some cough drops and potions
- 16:30Speaker 1: and cups of hot I'm not even nose the throat,
- 16:34Speaker 1: but I can fix your whole body. I got a
- 16:37Speaker 1: hot water bottle. If you want it, you can take it,
- 16:41Speaker 1: or a whole set of bad pants just in case
- 16:43Speaker 1: you can't make that. That was a tree up under
- 16:52Speaker 1: that coat. Man. That's the audience. They were a little late,
- 16:56Speaker 1: but they gave me some love. Now give are you
- 17:01Speaker 1: guys in there? You like real trees or you like
- 17:03Speaker 1: fake trees? What? What what is it ain't real trees.
- 17:07Speaker 1: I like real trees, but I'm in my house. It's
- 17:10Speaker 1: a fake tree all day. Let me say, let me
- 17:13Speaker 1: say it this way. I like the way real trees smell. Yeah,
- 17:18Speaker 1: but but as when you put if you put the
- 17:20Speaker 1: tree in dcent the first do you know about dcentit
- 17:23Speaker 1: the seventh to eighth, the limbs are starting to drop,
- 17:26Speaker 1: like everything is starting right, So everything you decorated is
- 17:31Speaker 1: moving and shifting it. But when you have a fake
- 17:34Speaker 1: tree is like the way we've set it up, that's
- 17:37Speaker 1: the way it's gonna look. I love a good fake tree,
- 17:39Speaker 1: fake tree expert right, pre pre lit, fake tree right
- 17:48Speaker 1: and everything. We never had a tree, never had a tree.
- 17:58Speaker 1: It wasn't for religious purpose, but no, we just my
- 18:01Speaker 1: mom didn't buy a tree. This is so country. We
- 18:05Speaker 1: she'd had an activity scene on top of the desk
- 18:07Speaker 1: and we put our gifts under the desk tree. We
- 18:12Speaker 1: didn't have a tree. I'm telling you, we don't a
- 18:14Speaker 1: damn tree. Man. Don't bring it up. Don't even there
- 18:22Speaker 1: was an activity scene on the desk. My mom had
- 18:24Speaker 1: to was the old desk with the drawers, and she,
- 18:27Speaker 1: you know, put the baby Jesus and all that, and
- 18:30Speaker 1: wasn't all the pieces were never there? You know there
- 18:33Speaker 1: Santa Claus is one of the wise men. You know.
- 18:35Speaker 1: You know what. That's kind of crazy because then your
- 18:38Speaker 1: mom be like, go look, go into the camel, got
- 18:41Speaker 1: under the desk, not under the camel, the desk, the
- 18:46Speaker 1: desk was what So why didn't you guys finally get
- 18:49Speaker 1: a tree? We never got a tree. No, you never
- 18:54Speaker 1: had a Christmas and never we never had a Christmas tree.
- 18:57Speaker 1: But my grandmother had a treat. This is very sad
- 19:06Speaker 1: right up about trees. And I'm just thinking, so here's
- 19:09Speaker 1: the thing. My sister stayed with my grandmother. I stayed
- 19:12Speaker 1: with my mother. My sister had a much much better
- 19:16Speaker 1: life than I. Different areas. Yes, my sister. I could
- 19:21Speaker 1: see the happiness my sister had because they had they
- 19:28Speaker 1: is this your mother's mother, just my mother's My grandmother
- 19:32Speaker 1: had raised my sister and my mother raised me. They
- 19:36Speaker 1: had a great life. What kind of well they had
- 19:40Speaker 1: a big tree, a real tree, just all the way up.
- 19:44Speaker 1: It was so high it bent in the ceiling. It
- 19:46Speaker 1: was all the way up. It was. She was always here.
- 19:53Speaker 1: I can't believe your brother, you hate you hate Christmas.
- 20:00Speaker 1: I hate the holiday. But Jake, can I say something
- 20:04Speaker 1: to you? Man? Let me tell you this. You know
- 20:06Speaker 1: what funny is that we've got a trip on. All
- 20:12Speaker 1: of us have had trees. Yeah, but but guess what, Jake,
- 20:18Speaker 1: all of us they had a desk. So I'm looking
- 20:22Speaker 1: Tommy looking at the bright side, had a desk about
- 20:29Speaker 1: a wise man and get your gifts because we don't
- 20:34Speaker 1: have a tree. So so she just decorated a desk,
- 20:39Speaker 1: decorated the desk and put out gifts. What gifts there was?
- 20:42Speaker 1: There wasn't many kids, Jake, Come on, but look at
- 20:46Speaker 1: you now, Jay, I do I do? I think it's
- 20:53Speaker 1: a movie though, that you and your sister grew up different.
- 20:55Speaker 1: I think that's a movie. That's a movie, Jay, what's
- 20:59Speaker 1: different kind of story? The title of it is called
- 21:01Speaker 1: My Life Sucks? I want her life? All right? Listen, guys, Wow, Jay, Okay, Well,
- 21:14Speaker 1: we're here for you if you need us. Coming up, Yeah,
- 21:20Speaker 1: it's the nephew. It's the nephew would run that brank back.
- 21:28Speaker 1: Right after this, Steve is on his mess around with
- 21:30Speaker 1: these you're listening to the Steven Show, all right? Coming
- 21:40Speaker 1: up in twenty after the next hour, singer our friend
- 21:43Speaker 1: Chante Moore will be our special guest. She sings She's
- 21:48Speaker 1: gonna tell us about her Christmas album Christmas Back to
- 21:51Speaker 1: You Plus at the top of the hour, and entertainment
- 21:53Speaker 1: news Stevie Wonder is helping California fire victims and first responders.
- 21:59Speaker 1: But right now it is time for the nephew. Yeah,
- 22:02Speaker 1: that is nice to run that prank back and yes,
- 22:04Speaker 1: Steve is on his way, your uncle nephew. Uh, Shirley
- 22:08Speaker 1: and Carl, Yeah, got the second finger from the pinky.
- 22:13Speaker 1: Huh what is the name of that finger? Ring? And
- 22:18Speaker 1: that's the name of the prank? The rain? Are you
- 22:21Speaker 1: ready for the rain? It is scary about it into
- 22:27Speaker 1: this whole little home. Carl, I'm gonna say it right here.
- 22:30Speaker 1: I'm gonna say this in front of everybody. I'm living
- 22:33Speaker 1: my beastlife. You my desk, like Tim Man. Can we
- 22:43Speaker 1: run the prank? Let's run it. Hello. Hello, I'm trying
- 22:48Speaker 1: to reach a dense Yes, this is SHEI Denise. My

- 22:56Speaker 1: how you doing, I'm good. You brought your ring in?
- 22:58Speaker 1: What was it last week? I actually wasn't here, but
- 23:01Speaker 1: you gave it to one of my salespersons and you
- 23:04Speaker 1: wanted to get it resized as well as as get
- 23:07Speaker 1: it a praise. Correct, yes, yes, yes, and you don't
- 23:09Speaker 1: have to tell him. I be a bit on my own. Okay, wow, okay, listen,
- 23:16Speaker 1: I actually do the resize the ring. And first of all,
- 23:18Speaker 1: let me be the first to say, um, congratulations, when
- 23:22Speaker 1: when is your wedding? Thank you, I'm getting married and
- 23:24Speaker 1: stuff come there. Well, congratulations to listen. I don't know
- 23:28Speaker 1: how to tell you this now as far as the
- 23:30Speaker 1: appraiser less concern, I've looked at your ring over and
- 23:33Speaker 1: over and this ring is probably worth maybe fifty dollars.
- 23:39Speaker 1: Excuse me, I've been in this business for over twenty years.
- 23:42Speaker 1: But you know what, I'm confused on what you just said.
- 23:44Speaker 1: And I understand that what I'm trying to explain to
- 23:46Speaker 1: you is that I've been in this business for over
- 23:48Speaker 1: twenty years. I've seen so many different pieces of jewelry
- 23:51Speaker 1: and this is something that you that you buy late
- 23:55Speaker 1: night on an infomercial for nineteen ninety nine. This is
- 23:58Speaker 1: a Cubic Zaconians own and the gold is not real
- 24:03Speaker 1: at all. It's like, wait, you wait, you lost me.
- 24:06Speaker 1: You lost me as much money as my friend make
- 24:08Speaker 1: and as much money as my father is putting down
- 24:11Speaker 1: on his wedding or has put down. And you're gonna say,
- 24:14Speaker 1: understand everything you're saying, but denis honestly, what I need
- 24:17Speaker 1: you to do is hold on. Wait, no, no, I
- 24:20Speaker 1: need you to hold on because we need to call victims. Wait. Wait, man.
- 24:24Speaker 1: First of all, I can't wait wait wait, wait, wait wait. However,
- 24:29Speaker 1: hold hold on because we don't trying to say do
- 24:33Speaker 1: you wait? Wait, wait, what are you trying to what
- 24:35Speaker 1: you're trying to do, sir? I need I need you
- 24:37Speaker 1: to repeat because what you just said to me. Okay,
- 24:41Speaker 1: I need you personal stuff man, you oh you hit it.
- 24:45Speaker 1: It's personal now. So I need you to hold on. Okay,
- 24:49Speaker 1: Oh she calling man? Okay, think think hello victim. I
- 24:55Speaker 1: want you to listen to this jeweler that's on the phone.
- 24:58Speaker 1: I want you to hit it that he just told me,
- 25:00Speaker 1: hold on, what's what's the problem? But you mean what's
- 25:01Speaker 1: the problem. He's gonna tell you what the problem is.
- 25:03Speaker 1: Gonna hit on, sir, gonna hit on who hello, yeah,
- 25:06Speaker 1: who's this? All right? My name is Gavin. I'm from Diamonds,
- 25:10Speaker 1: and actually your wife, I mean where your fiancee. Rather,
- 25:13Speaker 1: she brought her ring in to actually be resized. Yeah,
- 25:16Speaker 1: and we we also did an appraisal on the ring
- 25:19Speaker 1: for her. And actually the ring is estimated to be only,
- 25:24Speaker 1: in the word to around fifty dollars. Fifty dollars fifty
- 25:28Speaker 1: that's what the man said, sir. Obviously there's some sort
- 25:34Speaker 1: of mistakes, sir. Yea, what you got to say about
- 25:36Speaker 1: that fifty dollars? That's that's got to be some kind
- 25:39Speaker 1: of mistakes. But what'd you say your name was, sir?
- 25:41Speaker 1: My name is Gavin. I work here at Diamonds. I'm
- 25:44Speaker 1: the head jeweler here. I've been here for twenty years.
- 25:46Speaker 1: And there's there's no way that that ring is worth
- 25:49Speaker 1: fifty dollars. I know what I paid for it. So
- 25:51Speaker 1: obviously there's some sort of mistakes. There's not a mistake.
- 25:55Speaker 1: I've been dealing with jury, I've seen it. I can
- 25:57Speaker 1: pretty much look at a ring. But I actually he
- 26:00Speaker 1: went into detail on this one, as I do all
- 26:02Speaker 1: of them, and so I promise you this is probably
- 26:05Speaker 1: maybe between forty and fifty dollars. Before his workers No,
- 26:09Speaker 1: absolutely not. That's that's impossible. How was that impossible. He's
- 26:12Speaker 1: the jeweler you heard him say, he's been doing it
- 26:14Speaker 1: for twenty he's the highest. That impossible. I don't understand
- 26:17Speaker 1: that all the money that my dad is putting down
- 26:19Speaker 1: on this wedding and you're donna pay fifty dollars you
- 26:23Speaker 1: bought a cheap ring, sir. No, no, no, I did
- 26:25Speaker 1: not buy a team. This is this is this is
- 26:28Speaker 1: obviously some kind of mistake. You didn't got it. You
- 26:30Speaker 1: show that right, You show got that right. So what
- 26:33Speaker 1: you got to say for yourself fifty dollars? Then you
- 26:36Speaker 1: can't I believe that that's right. That's this is obviously
- 26:39Speaker 1: some kind of mistairs. Oh, it is a mistake. I'm
- 26:41Speaker 1: mistake and thinking I'm gonna get married to the man
- 26:43Speaker 1: of my dream. I do have the engagement ring that
- 26:46Speaker 1: was purchased and bought for your wife. No, I'm thinking
- 26:49Speaker 1: I don't think you do. I don't think you have
- 26:50Speaker 1: my ring, because if you have my ring, you wouldn't
- 26:52Speaker 1: be telling me this works fifty dollars. I have the
- 26:55Speaker 1: ring that your wife, your fiance brought his wife. Yet
- 27:00Speaker 1: hold on the man trying to explain. I'm trying to
- 27:02Speaker 1: get to the bott thank you, So you have I
- 27:05Speaker 1: don't think you have the right ring. I have the
- 27:07Speaker 1: right ring. And what I'm letting you know, sir, is
- 27:09Speaker 1: that this is something you buy on an infomercial in
- 27:12Speaker 1: the two the morning. Dude, you know I ain't bottle
- 27:17Speaker 1: damn ring on infomercial. I bought the ring from a
- 27:19Speaker 1: reputable establishment. I have the receipt, I have the certificate.
- 27:24Speaker 1: So obviously the mistake is on your and where the
- 27:27Speaker 1: mistakes now here? Search you bought a piece of junk.
- 27:30Speaker 1: He's been doing it all these years. How hell he's
- 27:32Speaker 1: gonna make a mistake where you come off telling me
- 27:35Speaker 1: I bought a piece of jump. I know what I bought.
- 27:37Speaker 1: If there's any mistakes that's been made, it's on your end, world,
- 27:40Speaker 1: It's not on my end. Yeah, don't. Don't you want
- 27:46Speaker 1: to thing that my dad has had too much money
- 27:48Speaker 1: for this wedding, but your dona pay Wait till I
- 27:52Speaker 1: tell him this, chill hold on. First of all, I
- 27:55Speaker 1: don't appreciate you. I want to tell you this. This
- 27:57Speaker 1: is a typical case of you trying to put it
- 27:59Speaker 1: off ones because you bought a piece off for fifty bucks.
- 28:02Speaker 1: I don't know many that I get fifty dollars worth
- 28:05Speaker 1: of a ring, Denise, hold on, let me talk to this.
- 28:07Speaker 1: Where are you going? And gets I never heard of it?
- 28:13Speaker 1: So your wife knows exactly where. She's the one that
- 28:15Speaker 1: brought the ring. And I tell you what, I'm gonna
- 28:17Speaker 1: come down there to see the ring that you're talking about.
- 28:20Speaker 1: If it's not the ring that I gave my girl,
- 28:22Speaker 1: I'm gonna take seventy six hundred dollars out of your
- 28:25Speaker 1: because that's so. Now you want to jump on me
- 28:29Speaker 1: because you bought your wife a pieces. Come on and
- 28:31Speaker 1: you want to put it on me. You you don't
- 28:33Speaker 1: tell me what the I don't know what the I
- 28:35Speaker 1: spin on the ring and you I don't kind of
- 28:38Speaker 1: trying to pull. First of all, I don't appreciate you
- 28:40Speaker 1: coming in my household trying to mess my and you
- 28:42Speaker 1: want to come at me with this one. I know
- 28:43Speaker 1: the rings. Betta be real. If I were you, mister niece,
- 28:47Speaker 1: I would not marry somebody that's gonna be I'm coming there.
- 28:50Speaker 1: I'm looking for your puppet. And you know what, you
- 28:53Speaker 1: don't get the ring in a right man, You're gonna
- 28:55Speaker 1: go in it. Could I say one more thing to
- 28:57Speaker 1: both of you? Are better? I tell you what if
- 28:59Speaker 1: they did, I want to hear me, and you're gonna
- 29:00Speaker 1: have some more problems. This is Nephew telling me from
- 29:03Speaker 1: the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Y'all just got pranked by

- 39:55Speaker 1: and I've thought about it before. But um, working with
- 39:58Speaker 1: Ronnie Jackson, and I don't say this just to say it.
- 40:00Speaker 1: I really do love his production. He inspired me really
- 40:04Speaker 1: to to just keep on writing and gave me another
- 40:08Speaker 1: look at my own music and my own talent, and
- 40:11Speaker 1: I wanted to keep creating. And so we ran out
- 40:14Speaker 1: of the album and we said, okay, well, let's just
- 40:16Speaker 1: let's do Christmas album. It was in the middle of June,
- 40:20Speaker 1: and we put it Christmas tree up and decorations and everything,
- 40:23Speaker 1: and had Christmas and we went all the way in.
- 40:26Speaker 1: We really did. That's how every day like Christmas came about.
- 40:29Speaker 1: That's all. We had it up until it was past Christmas.
- 40:32Speaker 1: We were like, maybe we should clean up his studio,
- 40:35Speaker 1: keep it up till December. Now it was through December
- 40:39Speaker 1: and through January. We're like, sorry, all right, Shante, hang on, Okay,
- 40:43Speaker 1: we're gonna get into more of this album with you
- 40:46Speaker 1: and talk more with you. We have a little more time,
- 40:48Speaker 1: but we'll take a break right here and come right back.
- 40:51Speaker 1: We're talking to Shante Moore, the Fabulous Shante More. Our
- 40:54Speaker 1: new Christmas album is called Christmas Back to You, and
- 40:57Speaker 1: we'll talk more about it at thirty two. You're listening
- 41:01Speaker 1: to all right, we are back with the fabulous We
- 41:06Speaker 1: love her, Shante More with the voice of an angel.
- 41:09Speaker 1: We just love it. Yes, Yes, this girl can s
- 41:12Speaker 1: a n G sang. Yes, yes, Yes, she has a
- 41:16Speaker 1: brand new album out. Well, it's it's brand new kind
- 41:19Speaker 1: of Florida. Yeah, every year. There you go. It's her
- 41:22Speaker 1: Christmas album. It's called Christmas Back to You and uh
- 41:26Speaker 1: chante your new single. They're playing it everywhere. It's called
- 41:29Speaker 1: every Days like Christmas. Yeah, so tell us about it. Well.
- 41:34Speaker 1: I really feel like people sometimes wait for occasions to
- 41:38Speaker 1: love each other and to show the kind of gratitude
- 41:40Speaker 1: that I believe we should show every day. I have
- 41:43Speaker 1: lost my mother twenty years ago, I lost my brother
- 41:47Speaker 1: five years ago, and having that boy, those two voices
- 41:50Speaker 1: in particular, has made me appreciate life a little bit more,
- 41:54Speaker 1: made me more conscious of my children and my friends
- 41:59Speaker 1: and my loved ones, because if we don't execute the
- 42:02Speaker 1: love that we say we have every day, you may
- 42:05Speaker 1: not have tomorrow. And I want to have a day
- 42:08Speaker 1: that I'm like, you know what, this is the day.
- 42:10Speaker 1: This is the day I have. So let's let's make
- 42:11Speaker 1: the best of this day. And that's really what that
- 42:14Speaker 1: song is about, is knowing that I'm going to give
- 42:16Speaker 1: you everything that you need today. It doesn't have to
- 42:19Speaker 1: be Christmas. Will you forget the Christmas tree? We don't
- 42:22Speaker 1: need mistletoe. I'm ana kiss you anyway. It's just all
- 42:24Speaker 1: those things that we don't need to wait for. Let's
- 42:26Speaker 1: just love each other and show that love every day
- 42:29Speaker 1: and give each other gifts. Eat that too. That's what
- 42:33Speaker 1: I got out of that. Let's talk about it. I mean,
- 42:37Speaker 1: we've been talking about it. Why don't you go ahead
- 42:38Speaker 1: and introduce your song right here on the Steve Harvey
- 42:41Speaker 1: Morning Show right now. Okay, this is Shante Moore and
- 42:44Speaker 1: this is my new Christmas single. Every day like Christmas?
- 42:56Speaker 1: You know what, love asia, you don't have the kids
- 43:03Speaker 1: got a reason to be patient, Keep you smilingly like
- 43:07Speaker 1: a decoration. Nothing do when it's me you. This be
- 43:14Speaker 1: my food, no treeful world. Don't miss Holt. You don't
- 43:22Speaker 1: have done a proble of me about the time and
- 43:26Speaker 1: made me believe every days by Christ with you all
- 43:33Speaker 1: the way your hearty given shore every day by Christlin
- 43:42Speaker 1: your present, my friends reading joy. I get aboutagious to
- 43:53Speaker 1: see your face in the morning. Nine dudes paid something
- 43:59Speaker 1: real to take my breath away, afraid every day for
- 44:03Speaker 1: someone like you, and you limit to everything I wanted
- 44:13Speaker 1: rupped up in you. Don't dream, don't miss you don't
- 44:23Speaker 1: have little troll to me time to time and make
- 44:27Speaker 1: me be every name, my Christ with the way your
- 44:36Speaker 1: hearty given you, every dame, my Christ, your friend, my friend,
- 44:50Speaker 1: Ready you all you can? Oh my god, chante. I
- 44:57Speaker 1: love it. I love it. I mean every time I
- 45:00Speaker 1: hear it, I love that song and I don't. Yeah,
- 45:02Speaker 1: it really is a good song. It's called every Day,
- 45:04Speaker 1: It's like Christmas. It's from your new Christmas album, Christmas
- 45:08Speaker 1: Back to You. I like that. I really like it. Yeah,
- 45:11Speaker 1: I think I hope everybody gets into the album because
- 45:13Speaker 1: to me, it's something that you can play all the
- 45:15Speaker 1: way through with your family, and there's a song called
- 45:17Speaker 1: Santa Claus Don't slay Santa, Don't slay like I do,
- 45:20Speaker 1: like I do. So these are the things that's good
- 45:25Speaker 1: about the album to me. But if you want to
- 45:28Speaker 1: find me at Chantey Moore on Twitter and Instagram and
- 45:32Speaker 1: Shanta Moore fans on Facebook, and if you miss all that,
- 45:35Speaker 1: just go to schontamore dot com. All right, Chante, keep singing, girl.
- 45:39Speaker 1: We love your voice and we love you than doing
- 45:42Speaker 1: what you're doing too. I appreciate it. Thank you. Christmas
- 45:45Speaker 1: back to you. Be sure to get it and get
- 45:47Speaker 1: it in the holiday spirit. Downloaded right now, Christmas back
- 45:51Speaker 1: to you, Shanta Moore. All right, Frank phone call with
- 45:54Speaker 1: the Nephew coming up next right after this. You're listening
- 45:58Speaker 1: to Steve Harvey Morning Show coming up at the top
- 46:01Speaker 1: of the hour. Right about four minutes after. It's today's

- 47:49Speaker 1: You you ready for that? Hell yeah? Okay, Well, hey man,
- 47:54Speaker 1: I got a little bit of a problem that you know,
- 47:58Speaker 1: we kind of wanted to call you, you know, because
- 48:00Speaker 1: the family got together and had a little meeting, like
- 48:03Speaker 1: and what the deal is is this? Hell? I know,
- 48:06Speaker 1: I know you're excited to want to marry my cousin
- 48:09Speaker 1: and she kind of excited too about the whole thing.

- 48:34Speaker 1: our family or whatever. Like you know, the gathering of
- 48:37Speaker 1: the day. You know that was a pot look thing.
- 48:40Speaker 1: Everybody brains something right old on. Christy ain't never told
- 48:44Speaker 1: me no like that about what about something about not
- 48:46Speaker 1: getting no married? Okay, we'll see right here, Like I say,
- 48:49Speaker 1: this is what the family doesn't decided on. What the
- 48:52Speaker 1: family decided on. Okay, see this what I'm trying to

- 49:05Speaker 1: weird name in the album in two weeks until like
- 49:08Speaker 1: when we had we had the potluck barbecue. Everybody brain something?
- 49:11Speaker 1: Why you ain't brain nooding what you're talking about I'm
- 49:14Speaker 1: paying for Oh oh oh, that's what you've been to
- 49:17Speaker 1: throw up in our face that you're paying for the

- 49:31Speaker 1: walk up in there and I have none, that let
- 49:32Speaker 1: us know what kind of person you're gonna be in
- 49:34Speaker 1: the family. We can't add it. Who is this again?
- 49:37Speaker 1: This Butcher right here? I don't know no, butcher. Look,
- 49:40Speaker 1: I came to the family gathering picnic. I came there,
- 49:43Speaker 1: should up, loving on all y'all, telling y'all right this
- 49:46Speaker 1: was gonna be. And now you're telling me I can't
- 49:48Speaker 1: married Christen. That was telling me, amen the family that
- 49:52Speaker 1: already voted, and whin the family vote? Dog, that's it.
- 49:55Speaker 1: I ain't marrying the family, you man. You're married my cousin, Christian.
- 49:59Speaker 1: That's what you're trying to do. And then you ain't
- 50:01Speaker 1: been the man. Huh. Look let me calling up to
- 50:04Speaker 1: my job talking like this. I'm already on hot from

- 50:16Speaker 1: you good for Christian. Until we can decide this. You
- 50:19Speaker 1: know you can handle being married to hood and you
- 50:21Speaker 1: come correct as a family member. And if you're gonna
- 50:23Speaker 1: come to pot lucks, then you bring a pot. You
- 50:26Speaker 1: ain't braining nothing. I ain't gotta fear, ain't nothing. I'm

- 50:32Speaker 1: How about two bottles of wine to it? You when
- 50:35Speaker 1: you win. I ain't seeing no wine. I don't care
- 50:38Speaker 1: if you got that wine or not. I saw her
- 50:40Speaker 1: mamma drinking it. Okay, well, I ain't getting no wine.
- 50:42Speaker 1: I don't remember nobody bringing no wine. See Butcher only
- 50:45Speaker 1: see anything that go on. I got class. I don't

- 50:53Speaker 1: This weading going down. I don't spend over twenty three
- 50:55Speaker 1: thousand dollars on that. Hey man, I had already told
- 50:58Speaker 1: you that the family didn't voted that the wind name.
- 51:01Speaker 1: I don't give up what the family voted on. I
- 51:04Speaker 1: don't paid for this. I ain't heard nothing from Christen
- 51:06Speaker 1: about this. Christian might not know what we didn't voted on.
- 51:09Speaker 1: We've made decisions sometimes for everybody. You understand that don't
- 51:14Speaker 1: include me. We let Christian know that we've been to
- 51:17Speaker 1: stop the wed. Well, I'm just calling to let you
- 51:19Speaker 1: know before I didn't tell her what's up you're trying
- 51:21Speaker 1: to tell me. Christen don't even know Na. We ain't
- 51:24Speaker 1: told Hood and we don't agree with you yet, and
- 51:26Speaker 1: then we're gonna stop the wind. We ain't told of it. Man,
- 51:28Speaker 1: get out of here. I'm paid all this money for
- 51:30Speaker 1: this man. You ain't stopping. Hey man, I haven't already
- 51:33Speaker 1: told you what we're doing, all right, I'm nothing to
- 51:35Speaker 1: continue to go back and forth with you. You better
- 51:37Speaker 1: go off my phone, raising your voice at me. I
- 51:40Speaker 1: don't know, hell you, I'll tell you what. Let me
- 51:42Speaker 1: say this to you. I don't care if I got
- 51:44Speaker 1: to bust up in that church and stop this wedding
- 51:46Speaker 1: because you don't win against what we just said. Whatever
- 51:49Speaker 1: I got to do, I don't know who you. I
- 51:52Speaker 1: wish your try to stop this wedding. Look, we can
- 51:55Speaker 1: handle it right now. I can get off of work.
- 51:57Speaker 1: I'm already going through some books and I'm already on fire.
- 52:00Speaker 1: I will come there and bust yo right now. I

- 52:27Speaker 1: a hunting pall that I want to hear nothing about
- 52:29Speaker 1: this no more. Tell me where to be and we
- 52:31Speaker 1: can deal with this right now. I'm just letting you know.
- 52:33Speaker 1: The family then voted the family and already voting. Now
- 52:37Speaker 1: what we will do. We'll push the wind back and
- 52:40Speaker 1: then give us time to reevaluate you. We evaluate me.
- 52:44Speaker 1: I don't even know evaluate you from y'all. And then
- 52:46Speaker 1: Christy getting married and I put some money on this.
- 52:49Speaker 1: All I know is the wedding ain't happening. That the

- 53:21Speaker 1: to go on. Don't know that while we're at it.
- 53:23Speaker 1: This ain't no damn democracy. We're getting married between h
- 53:26Speaker 1: and I and if y'all I don't want to be there,
- 53:28Speaker 1: jump off and the dinner. Yeah, it's one more thing.
- 53:32Speaker 1: We didn't vote it on. What these you don't vote
- 53:34Speaker 1: it on. We voted on this. This is nephew Tommy

- 55:52Speaker 1: you as an explanation. But I don't own the show. Okay,
- 55:56Speaker 1: that's not my show. If he owns a show, he
- 55:59Speaker 1: ain't got to give it a no. But the owner
- 56:01Speaker 1: has to. You know, the owner has to be accountable.
- 56:03Speaker 1: He has to say where he was. Go ahead on,

- 56:42Speaker 1: And you want to at least apologize to the company
- 56:46Speaker 1: and to the audience. I am the company, that's not
- 56:51Speaker 1: I know you the company, I know you the employees.
- 56:55Speaker 1: You want to you know, you want to say, I'm

- 58:09Speaker 1: We gotta pull you here. It is Strawberry Letter. Subject,
- 58:13Speaker 1: I don't want to share my cookie. Dear Stephen Shirley.
- 58:17Speaker 1: I have been married to my wife for fifteen years
- 58:20Speaker 1: and we have two beautiful kids. We grew up in
- 58:23Speaker 1: the church and we have stained from sex before we
- 58:26Speaker 1: got married. We don't use drugs or drink alcohol, and
- 58:29Speaker 1: we are active in our church. But lately, my wife
- 58:34Speaker 1: is showing me a side of her that I've never seen.
- 58:38Speaker 1: She's revealing who she really is and I'm starting to
- 58:41Speaker 1: wonder who I'm married. She had a health scare recently,
- 58:45Speaker 1: and she said it really shook her up and made
- 58:48Speaker 1: her reflect on how she wanted to live the rest
- 58:51Speaker 1: of her life. She told me that she would like
- 58:53Speaker 1: for us to have a more open relationship. She wants
- 58:57Speaker 1: to remain married, but she wants to freedom to engage
- 59:01Speaker 1: in sex with others if she wants to. She thinks
- 59:04Speaker 1: that monamy monogamy is unnatural and it keeps people from
- 59:08Speaker 1: exploring and being who they truly are. I don't know
- 59:12Speaker 1: what has gotten into her. Yes, I can admit that
- 59:15Speaker 1: the thought of this excites me a little bit, but
- 59:18Speaker 1: I never would think about asking my wife for this
- 59:20Speaker 1: kind of arrangement. It seems that open relationships are being
- 59:23Speaker 1: discussed more than ever before, but I'm not with that.
- 59:27Speaker 1: I cannot imagine sharing this woman with another man or woman.
- 59:32Speaker 1: I do want her to be happy so we can
- 59:34Speaker 1: keep our family together. What if I tell my wife
- 59:37Speaker 1: no and she ends up having an affair? Anyway? I
- 59:39Speaker 1: need some help with this one, Steve. What do I do? Please? Help? Oh?
- 59:44Speaker 1: I mean, I know that there are many couples in
- 59:47Speaker 1: open relationships these days, but this right here is a mess.
- 59:52Speaker 1: I mean, I just think it's nothing like marrying a
- 59:54Speaker 1: representative and not the real person. And you would think
- 59:58Speaker 1: that after fifteen year years, We're talking fifteen years, you
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: would literally know your wife inside and out. But you know,
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: you didn't say what kind of health scare she had.
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: I'm going to assume it was life threatening since she
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: is a completely different person now who feels you know,
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: she's missing out on something and she wants to try
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: and open relationship. Now. I just think your response, though,
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: is right on point, because you know, you just don't
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: just I don't know any man, I'll put it like that,
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: who would put up with this kind of thing? Who
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: would be okay with allowing his wife to have sex
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: with other people, men or women. I just don't know that,
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: even though, like you said, you thought about it, I
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: mean a lot of people probably thought about it. Everybody fantasizes.
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: She says she wants to remain married, though, but be
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: free to sleep around. Why stay married if that's what
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: you want to do. If you want to be free,
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: be free all the way. And yes, I do think
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: that she would have an affair if you said no,
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: because it's on her mind and she's talking to you
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: about it. She seems too unapologetic about doing things, you know, unremorseful. Steve. Well,
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: when we come back, we'll get into it. Okay, my
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: aunts are gonna be different to all right, Okay, I
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: can promise you all right, while was y'all, I'll come
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: back for this, yeah, Steve, Steve's here, Um and Carlin,
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: don't stop me. What about what I'm think to do?
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: You have to do something crazy? I think, I think, Well, okay,
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: you don't tell us why he was late. That's nothing
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: to do with the letter H subject I don't want
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: to share my cookie. We're gonna have part two of
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: Steve's response and part one because he didn't even say anything,
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: but I will have it right after this. You're listening,
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: all right, Steve, Let's recap the letter UH and get
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: to your response subject, I don't want to share my cookie.
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: Later been married for fifteen years. I grew up in
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: the church to him staying from sex till they got married.
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: Now they're married. Your wife. You don't really know who
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: your wife is. You know you've been married for fifteen years.
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: She's showing your side. You never saw um. She had
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: some type of healthcare scale recently, saying it shook her up,
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: you know, made a reflect on her. She wanted to
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: live the rest of her life. Told me that she
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: wanted to have more of an open relationship. You know,
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: she wants to remain married to him, you, but she
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: wants to freedom to engage in sex with others, others
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: key words, that's molding one man. She just wants to
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: just gonna get at it, pass it out. It really
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: is a cookie to her, according to that, I don't
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: want to share my cookie. He's actually a pack of Oreo.
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: Because she want to go with others. She wanted to
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: everybody can get piece of cookie, get a hand for
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: anybody can get a piece of cookie. She wants to
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: do it with other men, want to have sex with
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: others with an s s on it. So she just
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: suppet the Oreo cookies. You eat this role, You can
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: have a role just ten You just get to it. Man.
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: So I can admit that when she said that, I
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: was a little excited myself with your square and then
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: never thought about asking my wife for this kind of arrangement.
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: That open manages are being discussed more than ever before.
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: I ain't with it, though, I cannot imagine sharing this
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: woman with another man or woman. I don't want her
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: to be I do want her to be happy so
- 1:03:36Speaker 1: we can keep our family together. So what if I
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: tell my wife knowing she ends up having an affair anyway?
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: I need some help with this with Steve. What do
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: I do? Well, let's go on back to this letter.
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: Let's first start with this damn Hills because see this
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: way at all? Turn that she told you that my
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: wife's showing you aside that you ain't never seen, you're
- 1:03:59Speaker 1: starting to under who you're married too. She had a
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: health scare recently, and she said it really shook her up,
- 1:04:06Speaker 1: and it made her reflect on how she wanted to
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: live the rest of her life. I'm going to assume
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: that this health scale or some form of ED, that's
- 1:04:22Speaker 1: what I'm going with. You then gave Yola a response,
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: just the one I'm going with. Come on, I could
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: be just as right as you. What health scale? She
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: didn't had? That that made her reflect on how she
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: wanted to live the rest of her life, and the
- 1:04:41Speaker 1: rest of her life she wants to live is in
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: an open marriage to have sex with others. She then
- 1:04:48Speaker 1: went somewhere, Now, let me explain something to it. If
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: y'all don't think that's true, just stay with me. I'm
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: offering as a solution to the healthcare my analytical abilities.
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: Cold Cracker himself has come up with the term venereal disease. Okay, okay, okay, okay,
- 1:05:09Speaker 1: I'm going with that. Shelly, you didn't get your Christian answer.
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: I'm a Christian too, but I'm more of an honest
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: right by the Yeah, I'm a dope Christian the volderline. Yeah,
- 1:05:24Speaker 1: she told me she would like for us having and
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: freedom to engage in sex with others if she wanted to. Now,
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: ain't nobody bought this to her man, not having already
- 1:05:37Speaker 1: done what she didn't, just thought it's best to break
- 1:05:41Speaker 1: she's done this potion, she's already done, thus the health skill.
- 1:05:48Speaker 1: And then she thinks that monogamy is unnatural. She right down.
- 1:05:54Speaker 1: She didn't have sex somewhere because she didn't came out
- 1:05:56Speaker 1: and told her man, after fifteen years of manage, mun
- 1:06:00Speaker 1: to me is unnatural. Yeah, y'all, the woman been in
- 1:06:03Speaker 1: the church, didn't have no sex for you, got man,
- 1:06:07Speaker 1: that ain't natural. It's right, but it ain't the natural
- 1:06:12Speaker 1: order of things. And y'all all know that, so you
- 1:06:15Speaker 1: can take that deep breath out. And I had to urge. Yeah, hell,
- 1:06:23Speaker 1: I wanted my card class teacher. Yo? What my card
- 1:06:28Speaker 1: class teach? They're what they call Sunday School for little kids?
- 1:06:30Speaker 1: Card class because if you every message every week was
- 1:06:33Speaker 1: on the card. So now I don't know what's gotten
- 1:06:39Speaker 1: into her. Yes, I can admit that the thought excites
- 1:06:43Speaker 1: me a little bit because he he won't to go too,
- 1:06:46Speaker 1: but now he could never think about asking his wife
- 1:06:49Speaker 1: for this type of arrangement. But she didn't thought to
- 1:06:51Speaker 1: ask it of him. She hadn't done this before. She
- 1:06:55Speaker 1: just trying to clear her conscious. This is how we're
- 1:06:58Speaker 1: gonna roll from now because mcnas gonna mean it's unnatural
- 1:07:02Speaker 1: seems that open relationships being discussed more. I'm not with that.
- 1:07:06Speaker 1: You wan't fit to get with it. I cannot imagine
- 1:07:11Speaker 1: sharing this woman with another man or woman. Okay, cool,
- 1:07:15Speaker 1: you can't imagine it, but guess who can? Who bought
- 1:07:20Speaker 1: this up to you? O? Good? So this ain't This
- 1:07:25Speaker 1: ain't about what you can imagine. She didn't imagine it
- 1:07:28Speaker 1: and then thought it out so much. She hadn't bought
- 1:07:31Speaker 1: it to you with terms next issue, thinks, what something
- 1:07:37Speaker 1: wrong with this? Dude? I do want her to be happy, though.
- 1:07:41Speaker 1: I do want her to be happy so we can
- 1:07:43Speaker 1: keep our family together. Boy, what did you just say?
- 1:07:47Speaker 1: So now the band is already in. I do want
- 1:07:52Speaker 1: her to be happy though, so we can keep our
- 1:07:54Speaker 1: family together. So now he got to consider that little
- 1:07:59Speaker 1: excitement that he felt for this open manage and match
- 1:08:02Speaker 1: it up with her desire to have an open marriage
- 1:08:05Speaker 1: and work it out in his mind where she can
- 1:08:08Speaker 1: be happy and they can keep their family together. Because
- 1:08:11Speaker 1: they down there fronting at the church like it's all good.
- 1:08:16Speaker 1: What you're gonna find out? Though? Boy, y'all gonna wind
- 1:08:20Speaker 1: it with somebody else this church. You're still hot time,
- 1:08:26Speaker 1: I'm definite. I'm definitely hot. You're gonna end up with
- 1:08:28Speaker 1: sister Pattison? What? No, No, I need some help with
- 1:08:33Speaker 1: this from Steve. What do I do? Please? Help? First
- 1:08:36Speaker 1: of all, man, I'm not my wife, ain't sleeping nobody.
- 1:08:38Speaker 1: And when she's coming there with that foolishness, we bought
- 1:08:40Speaker 1: over the end. Yeah, yeah, we bought over the end.
- 1:08:43Speaker 1: Because if you're having them thoughts, I can tell you
- 1:08:45Speaker 1: right now because you're not coming in here. Sleeping in
- 1:08:49Speaker 1: this house. I'm paying for man y'a out that pass
- 1:08:53Speaker 1: now cooking like his chewing girl. You're all right, listen,

- 1:18:40Speaker 1: Dobbie and picked this one up. You ain't seen this note? Man?

- 1:18:53Speaker 1: the humps humps, yeah you ain't. I ain't gonna throw
- 1:19:01Speaker 1: the skin away with the humps on it. So I

- 1:28:16Speaker 1: Oh oh so now you wants to pray? Who is that? Now?
- 1:28:25Speaker 1: Now you want to come up in here with your

- 1:28:30Speaker 1: some help on a for he don't do football game?
- 1:28:34Speaker 1: Can I ask you something man, excuse me. I don't
- 1:28:39Speaker 1: talk to pimps. I don't excuse me. Then I guess
- 1:28:44Speaker 1: we ain't got nothing to say, because that's show when
- 1:28:46Speaker 1: I am. You know what I'm saying. I ain't nothing,
- 1:28:48Speaker 1: nothing else, but I'm a good pimp there. You ain't

- 1:28:53Speaker 1: don't him women and nothing. I don't care what your
- 1:28:56Speaker 1: pimp I'm leading. Hell, don't be like that. Surely me
- 1:29:03Speaker 1: and you ain't ever been cooped. I just know that
- 1:29:11Speaker 1: car It can talk to me, and Lord Junior can,
- 1:29:16Speaker 1: and you and that bar from that other show, that
- 1:29:21Speaker 1: black evil bitter. She's calling him better. That's what y'all think.
- 1:29:36Speaker 1: I think you wish you washed. You think you think

- 1:29:41Speaker 1: I'm gonna leave, y'all go ahead and talk to this
- 1:29:44Speaker 1: heathen here. Hey, it ain't never been no heathing before.
- 1:29:54Speaker 1: She say nothing bout my coat, damn least complimented. Go ahead,
- 1:30:03Speaker 1: what you got, Tommy? All right, let's get down man.
- 1:30:06Speaker 1: New York Jets will be at the Tennessee Titans now.
- 1:30:12Speaker 1: Just ain't gonna do nothing. I'm gonna pick Titans. You're
- 1:30:15Speaker 1: gonna pick the Titans over the Jets, y'all. I just did.
- 1:30:17Speaker 1: What the hell you be surprised for. I've been right
- 1:30:20Speaker 1: in week. Okay, Kansas City will be uh in Kansas City.
- 1:30:27Speaker 1: Minnesota at New England, take your time now. You already
- 1:30:33Speaker 1: know the Patriots gonna win. This man, I'm gonna hate
- 1:30:37Speaker 1: him with anything, but Minnesota might win. You never know, Yeah, Mike,
- 1:30:41Speaker 1: I need I need an answer though. Minnesota in New England.
- 1:30:44Speaker 1: They playing at New England and they play. Yeah, I'm
- 1:30:48Speaker 1: going for the upset Minnesota. Okay. San Francisco will be
- 1:30:54Speaker 1: in Seattle, and do anybody kill a man? I'll take Seattle. Hurry, hurry,
- 1:31:05Speaker 1: here we go. Los Angeles charges will be in Pittsburgh. Oh,
- 1:31:12Speaker 1: I don't meet this stealers, but I gotta pick them. No,
- 1:31:18Speaker 1: all right, Last, but not least, we have Washington at Philadelphia.
- 1:31:22Speaker 1: Pick one Redskins old, Okay, go ahead, all right, and
- 1:31:28Speaker 1: we'll be back to close out the show right after
- 1:31:30Speaker 1: this at forty nine after the hour. You're listening, all right, Steve,
- 1:31:36Speaker 1: We've come to the end of the road for this week.
- 1:31:39Speaker 1: This is our last break of the day on this Friday,
- 1:31:42Speaker 1: leave us with some closing remarks. Please you know something, man,
- 1:31:47Speaker 1: I'm not gonna take long to tell you this, but
- 1:31:51Speaker 1: what's the old say that the grass is always greener
- 1:31:56Speaker 1: on the other side. So when you hear that, what
- 1:32:02Speaker 1: they're saying is almost like a warning to people be
- 1:32:07Speaker 1: careful because it always appears that the grass is greener
- 1:32:13Speaker 1: on the other side. And so many people spending their
- 1:32:18Speaker 1: life standing at the fence looking at somebody else's grass
- 1:32:27Speaker 1: and then acknowledging the fact that they grass is greener.
- 1:32:33Speaker 1: It causes you to do nothing about your own, y'all.
- 1:32:40Speaker 1: And then some people have the audacity, and you see
- 1:32:44Speaker 1: it on the internet all the time that if they
- 1:32:47Speaker 1: look over there and your grass is greener, they try
- 1:32:50Speaker 1: to kill the grass or throw some weeds in it.
- 1:32:54Speaker 1: But you know what I come away with, I don't
- 1:32:57Speaker 1: worry about that because he is what I know. I'm
- 1:33:02Speaker 1: too busy working on my own grass to notice if
- 1:33:07Speaker 1: yours is greener. That's really the truth. I'm really so
- 1:33:14Speaker 1: busy working on my own grass that I don't have
- 1:33:17Speaker 1: time to notice if yours is greener. Because if it
- 1:33:21Speaker 1: is greener, Let's suppose your grass is greener why can't
- 1:33:25Speaker 1: mind be just as green. I ain't saying we're gonna
- 1:33:30Speaker 1: have the same yard. We're just talking about the color
- 1:33:33Speaker 1: of the grass that's in your yard. You don't have
- 1:33:36Speaker 1: to have the same size house I got. You ain't
- 1:33:40Speaker 1: got to have the same size house it ain't got.
- 1:33:42Speaker 1: You ain't got to have the same size house Oprah got.
- 1:33:47Speaker 1: You ain't gonna have the same size yard they got.
- 1:33:51Speaker 1: But if you take care of your business, you can
- 1:33:54Speaker 1: have grass just as green as everybody else if you
- 1:33:58Speaker 1: just handle your business. The gold in life is to
- 1:34:03Speaker 1: get your grass to be as green as it can.
- 1:34:08Speaker 1: So when you go outside to pick your crops, it
- 1:34:11Speaker 1: got some fruit to bath. And God will always supply
- 1:34:16Speaker 1: your needs. So even though it may look like somebody
- 1:34:19Speaker 1: got made more fruit and they orchard, let me tell
- 1:34:22Speaker 1: you something if you can't if you got an orchard
- 1:34:28Speaker 1: full of apple tree a thousand apple trees, and I
- 1:34:36Speaker 1: got one apple tree in my yard, but you got
- 1:34:39Speaker 1: a thousand apple trees in your yard. When it's time
- 1:34:42Speaker 1: to need, how many apples can you eat? Let's say
- 1:34:46Speaker 1: you eat apple six apples, that make you fool. My
- 1:34:50Speaker 1: one tree got six apples on it, So we both fool. See,
- 1:34:55Speaker 1: at one point in time, you're gonna have to get
- 1:34:57Speaker 1: content with where you are in your process of the journey.
- 1:35:02Speaker 1: Stop looking at everybody grass, Stop looking at everybody orchard.
- 1:35:06Speaker 1: They grass greener than mind. They got more apple trees
- 1:35:09Speaker 1: than mind. Hey, man, eat apples off your tree. You
- 1:35:12Speaker 1: might find out that you have enough. But if you
- 1:35:15Speaker 1: could wear an encountering mind, you're gonna mess around and
- 1:35:18Speaker 1: let worms get on yours. I'm too busy working on
- 1:35:22Speaker 1: my own grass to even notice that your grass is greener.
- 1:35:27Speaker 1: Change your commitment to everybody else and from everybody else's business.
- 1:35:32Speaker 1: Change your commitment to your business. If you the time
- 1:35:35Speaker 1: you spend wearing about them, looking at them, talking about them,
- 1:35:38Speaker 1: if you took that same amount of time and spending
- 1:35:41Speaker 1: on yourself, you have any idea what you could accomplish.
- 1:35:46Speaker 1: That's why haters man is so much trouble man. You
- 1:35:49Speaker 1: don't even understand. Let people hate all they want. They
- 1:35:53Speaker 1: tending to too many other people's business. Don't get into
- 1:35:58Speaker 1: hate business. It serves nobody. And that's another thing. Somebody
- 1:36:04Speaker 1: asked me how to I deal with my haters. I
- 1:36:06Speaker 1: keep all my haters in my classroom. I just got
- 1:36:10Speaker 1: them watching me, because that's all they can do. They
- 1:36:12Speaker 1: can't stop nothing God has for me. They can't take
- 1:36:16Speaker 1: away one blessing God gives me. They can't do nothing
- 1:36:21Speaker 1: to me. You can't bring no harm on me that
- 1:36:24Speaker 1: I won't be able to survive. I'm not saying that
- 1:36:28Speaker 1: it don't bother me sometime. I don't. I'm not saying
- 1:36:31Speaker 1: that people don't attack me sometime. But when you get
- 1:36:34Speaker 1: through attacking me, I'm a weather, you'll storm. I'm Isaiah
- 1:36:38Speaker 1: forty three one and two. I can walk through the
- 1:36:40Speaker 1: rivers and not be overturned. The waters will not overtake me.
- 1:36:45Speaker 1: I can walk through the fire and not be burned.
- 1:36:47Speaker 1: Nor were kindling set upon my clothing. I haven't been
- 1:36:51Speaker 1: through some fiery situations and came out on the other side.
- 1:36:54Speaker 1: And if there was no kindling, there was no signs
- 1:36:58Speaker 1: that I was even in a fire. Now, understand something,
- 1:37:02Speaker 1: what that scripture does not say that when you walk
- 1:37:04Speaker 1: through the fire that it ain't gonna be ungodly hot day. Now,
- 1:37:08Speaker 1: It's been plenty hot for me on plenty days, many occasions. Oh,
- 1:37:13Speaker 1: I'd have made some mistakes in front of the world
- 1:37:15Speaker 1: before I didn't had to deal with some stuff. But
- 1:37:19Speaker 1: when I got through what no signs that I was
- 1:37:22Speaker 1: ever in a fire. That's the God, I said. I
- 1:37:27Speaker 1: have no concern about what people say they're gonna do
- 1:37:31Speaker 1: to me. I have no concern about how green your
- 1:37:36Speaker 1: grass is. On the other side, I have no concern
- 1:37:40Speaker 1: about how many apple trees in your orchard. I'm too
- 1:37:45Speaker 1: busy tending to my own grass to even notice that
- 1:37:49Speaker 1: yours is greener. And if I do look over that,
- 1:37:52Speaker 1: congratulations on your beautiful green, y'all, I'm getting mine there
- 1:37:56Speaker 1: to That's all it is. Fix your attitude. Change your attitude,
