Transcript
- 0:00Speaker 1: Welcome in his vertical Centator Ted Cruz, ben Ferguson with
- 0:03Speaker 1: you as well, and Senator we have got a lot
- 0:05Speaker 1: of action happening right now in the Middle East. We're
- 0:07Speaker 1: going to cover it the best we can because it's
- 0:10Speaker 1: changing so quickly.
- 0:11Speaker 2: Well we are, But we're gonna start with a very
- 0:13Speaker 2: simple question, what in the hell is wrong with California. Look,
- 0:17Speaker 2: I gotta say, the Los Angeles mayor race is as
- 0:21Speaker 2: bizarre a race as I've ever seen. We're gonna break
- 0:24Speaker 2: down the results there. They're gonna shock you, they're gonna
- 0:26Speaker 2: piss you off. We're gonna talk about exactly what's going on.
- 0:29Speaker 2: We're also going to talk about, as you noted, the
- 0:32Speaker 2: Middle East, and in particular, Iran is firing missiles at Israel.
- 0:35Speaker 2: Israel is firing missiles at Iran. Things are escalating right now,
- 0:39Speaker 2: things are fast moving. We're gonna give you the latest.
- 0:42Speaker 3: Yeah, welcome to Democratic Party in twenty twenty six.
- 0:44Speaker 1: All right, if you have a puppy or a dog
- 0:47Speaker 1: that you love, then you need to know about rough
- 0:50Speaker 1: Greens and I want you to try it, just like
- 0:52Speaker 1: I did for our new puppy, Birdie for free. Yeah,
- 0:56Speaker 1: all you're gonna have to do is pay for shipping. Now,
- 0:58Speaker 1: if you don't know about rough greens, let me tell
- 0:59Speaker 1: you about them.
- 1:00Speaker 3: I tell you.
- 1:01Speaker 1: Moving from the puppy years to old age brings in nostalgia.
- 1:05Speaker 1: Remember the day you brought your puppy home, the tiny paws,
- 1:07Speaker 1: that wagging tail, the spark in their eyes, and man,
- 1:10Speaker 1: that energy that just wouldn't quit. Well, they've gotten older.
- 1:13Speaker 1: You wonder where that spark went. They're slower pick here
- 1:16Speaker 1: at meal time, their stomach often seems off, and you
- 1:19Speaker 1: find yourself cleaning up those messes, worrying and quietly thinking,
- 1:22Speaker 1: is this just what aging looks like? That's not old age,
- 1:26Speaker 1: by the way, that's actually malnutrition. They're missing their probiotics,
- 1:30Speaker 1: the enzymes, the omega oils, and the live vitamins and
- 1:34Speaker 1: minerals that your dog needs to digest thems or food.
- 1:37Speaker 1: When the gut is out of balance, everything's harder for
- 1:40Speaker 1: your dog that you love. And that's where rough creens
- 1:42Speaker 1: really come in. I've seen it firsthand as our dog
- 1:45Speaker 1: got older and we got our dog back that happiness
- 1:48Speaker 1: in life, and in fact, rough creams is America's number
- 1:51Speaker 1: one dog supplement. You just sprinkle it right over their
- 1:54Speaker 1: current food, and it's packed with all the live nutrients
- 1:57Speaker 1: they need. It's all natural, made in the US of A.
- 2:00Speaker 1: And thousands of dogs are feeling younger, more energetic, and
- 2:03Speaker 1: healthier than they have in years. Your dog could be
- 2:06Speaker 1: one of them. And I want you to get a
- 2:07Speaker 1: free Jumpstart trial bag for your dog today and you'll
- 2:11Speaker 1: understand exactly why it's amazing. You just cover the shipping costs,
- 2:15Speaker 1: go to roughcreens dot com and all you have to
- 2:18Speaker 1: do is use the discount code Verdict. That's areu ff
- 2:22Speaker 1: greens dot com discount code verdict Roughcreens. They make any
- 2:26Speaker 1: dog better, all right, So I will I have a
- 2:30Speaker 1: theory center if we're let's go back to California and
- 2:33Speaker 1: start there. I have a theory that when you make
- 2:36Speaker 1: so many people miserable, as soon as the saying can get.
- 2:40Speaker 3: Out, they get out as fast as they can.
- 2:43Speaker 1: If you are a normal person and you're living in
- 2:45Speaker 1: a place like La and you watch part of the
- 2:48Speaker 1: city burn down, and you see that the fire hydrants
- 2:50Speaker 1: aren't working well and the reservoirs don't have the water
- 2:52Speaker 1: they need, and then you're dealing with all the crazies
- 2:55Speaker 1: there in government.
- 2:56Speaker 3: You just leave.
- 2:57Speaker 1: So my question is this, did all the same people
- 3:01Speaker 1: basically leave La Therefore the only thing you have left
- 3:04Speaker 1: is Karen Bass are a communist or a socialist and
- 3:06Speaker 1: that's it, because they've destroyed the entire city.
- 3:10Speaker 2: Look, there's still a whole lot of people there. A
- 3:12Speaker 2: lot of people have left, they are fleeing like crazy,
- 3:15Speaker 2: but there are a lot of people still there. Let's
- 3:18Speaker 2: do the latest news. It's eleven seventeen pm Sunday night.
- 3:21Speaker 2: So as of right now, Karen Bass, the incumbent, is
- 3:24Speaker 2: going to the runoff. She has been called. She has
- 3:28Speaker 2: received so far two hundred and fifty eight and seventy
- 3:31Speaker 2: one votes, which comes up to thirty four point seven percent. Now,
- 3:37Speaker 2: the election happened a week ago. Let's start with the
- 3:39Speaker 2: fact that these imbeciles can't actually count the votes in
- 3:43Speaker 2: an election. We're a week into it and we only
- 3:45Speaker 2: have eighty three percent of the votes in. They have
- 3:47Speaker 2: another seventeen percent that they haven't counted yet. That is
- 3:50Speaker 2: true statewide. We're gonna break that down in a minute.
- 3:52Speaker 2: But by the way, Texas, somehow we managed to have
- 3:55Speaker 2: elections and no election night or late in the morning
- 3:59Speaker 2: the next day the results because we actually count our
- 4:02Speaker 2: damn votes. Apparently in California, vote counting keeps going until
- 4:08Speaker 2: I guess they get the result they want. I mean,
- 4:11Speaker 2: it is messed up. For much of the past week,
- 4:15Speaker 2: Karen Bass was in first, and then Spencer Pratt was
- 4:18Speaker 2: in second, but in a sizable second. He had a
- 4:20Speaker 2: sizable lead. Then suddenly today's vote count dropped and nit
- 4:26Speaker 2: Yah Ramen, who is the left wing Marxist, who, by
- 4:30Speaker 2: the way, thinks Karen Bass, the communist who piled around
- 4:34Speaker 2: with Fidel Castro, is not left wing enough, She has
- 4:39Speaker 2: now surged into second place. So as of right now,
- 4:42Speaker 2: nit Ya Ramen has one hundred ninety hundred and ninety
- 4:44Speaker 2: eight votes, which is twenty seven point one percent, and
- 4:47Speaker 2: Spencer Pratt has one hundred and ninety three thousand and
- 4:50Speaker 2: eighty five votes, which is twenty six point seven percent.
- 4:54Speaker 2: Now what does that mean. Well, I'm gonna tell you.
- 4:57Speaker 2: I looked on Klshi right now just to see what
- 5:00Speaker 2: the betting odds were on who will be in second place?
- 5:04Speaker 2: What do you think the odds are according to Kalshi,
- 5:06Speaker 2: that Nitschia Rahman is in second place.
- 5:08Speaker 1: I'm going to go like super high throughout a number
- 5:13Speaker 1: eighty nine percent higher higher. So basically they're saying it's
- 5:18Speaker 1: it's rigged and there's no way a Republican's going to
- 5:21Speaker 1: come in second.
- 5:21Speaker 3: That's what you're telling me. Keep going nine down one
- 5:26Speaker 3: ninety eight percent. Okay, yeah, bingo.
- 5:29Speaker 2: It was ninety nine earlier. Today it dropped to ninety eight.
- 5:33Speaker 2: Let me ask you, all right before we get into
- 5:36Speaker 2: the process questions. All right, So, Karen bass I think
- 5:42Speaker 2: has demonstrated she is the most incompetent mayor you could
- 5:45Speaker 2: possibly imagine being in charge of a podunk city, much
- 5:50Speaker 2: less the second largest city in America. Much of her
- 5:53Speaker 2: city burned down.
- 5:55Speaker 4: She saw.
- 5:55Speaker 2: The most costly natural disaster in American history is the
- 6:00Speaker 2: Papecific Palisades Way rage. Mind you, this was after both
- 6:05Speaker 2: La and California had little to no fire and mitigation.
- 6:09Speaker 2: They allowed, they allowed the overgrowth of brush. They didn't
- 6:13Speaker 2: do anything to clear it out because apparently no one's
- 6:15Speaker 2: figured out that they're fires in California. This is a
- 6:17Speaker 2: really complicated thing for Democrats to figure out. On top
- 6:22Speaker 2: of that, they didn't have water, they let the reservoir
- 6:27Speaker 2: be empty, the fire hydrants had no water. And you
- 6:30Speaker 2: remember we played this on the on the podcast at
- 6:35Speaker 2: the time, we did an entire pod on the preventable
- 6:39Speaker 2: train wreck that was the LA wildfires, the public policy
- 6:43Speaker 2: decisions that made the risks much greater and then made
- 6:47Speaker 2: the ability to mitigate it, to stop it, to put
- 6:49Speaker 2: it out much much weaker. LA at the time their
- 6:53Speaker 2: fire chief and the top two deputies. Okay, this is
- 6:57Speaker 2: almost something out of Saturday Night Live, as Saturday Night
- 6:59Speaker 2: Live was allowed to be funny anymore. Yeah, the top
- 7:02Speaker 2: three officials in the LA Fire Department were all lesbians
- 7:05Speaker 2: named Kristin.
- 7:07Speaker 3: Yeah. Yeah, it was.
- 7:09Speaker 1: It was d I at its best, Like, if you
- 7:11Speaker 1: just want to be really honest.
- 7:14Speaker 2: Does that doesn't that sound like almost a rejected script
- 7:17Speaker 2: for an SNL. Let's have Christen one, Kristen two, and
- 7:19Speaker 2: Kristin three. They're all lesbians and and and we played
- 7:23Speaker 2: an interview I think it was Kristen two, although to
- 7:25Speaker 2: be honest, I can't keep track. Who was an African
- 7:28Speaker 2: American woman who was explaining that that that you know,
- 7:31Speaker 2: they had as a high priority hiring hiring lots of
- 7:34Speaker 2: women and women are great. But but but she said,
- 7:37Speaker 2: you know, some of you might be saying, what, well,
- 7:39Speaker 2: what I what if that little woman can't carry my
- 7:42Speaker 2: husband out of a fire? Yeah, And she says, you
- 7:45Speaker 2: know what, when you when you see a firefighter, you
- 7:48Speaker 2: want someone who looks like you. That's what you care
- 7:50Speaker 2: most about. And if your husband's in a fire, that's
- 7:53Speaker 2: his fault. He shouldn't have gotten himself in that position
- 7:55Speaker 2: in the first place.
- 7:57Speaker 3: Yep.
- 7:57Speaker 2: Like it truly was unbelievable. Let me be very clear
- 8:00Speaker 2: for the record, if I'm in a fire, I don't
- 8:04Speaker 2: care what the firefighter who shows up looks like. Doesn't
- 8:07Speaker 2: matter to me at all.
- 8:08Speaker 3: I just want you to carry me out.
- 8:10Speaker 2: Someone big as hell who can throw my ass over
- 8:12Speaker 2: his shoulder and get me out of there.
- 8:14Speaker 4: That is.
- 8:16Speaker 2: And by the way, you know my mom, My mom
- 8:19Speaker 2: is ninety one years old.
- 8:21Speaker 3: Yep.
- 8:21Speaker 2: My mother lives in a high rise in Houston, and
- 8:28Speaker 2: she lives up in the twenty sixth floor. And a
- 8:29Speaker 2: couple of years ago, I remember this, the power went
- 8:34Speaker 2: out in the building and ended up having it had malfunctions.
- 8:37Speaker 2: They shut the building down for a couple of months.
- 8:39Speaker 2: But my mom is up on the twenty sixth floor.
- 8:41Speaker 2: The power is out. They're evacuating the building, and the
- 8:44Speaker 2: elevators aren't working, and my mom uses a walker, So
- 8:48Speaker 2: there is no universe in which my mother is making
- 8:50Speaker 2: it down twenty six flights of stairs. That is just
- 8:53Speaker 2: not something she is capable of doing it at age
- 8:55Speaker 2: ninety one. And so Houston firefighters to Houston firefighters carried
- 9:00Speaker 2: her down twenty six flights of stairs. Incredible promise you
- 9:05Speaker 2: my mother didn't say, Okay, wait, I'm sorry. You guys
- 9:08Speaker 2: are both big strapping dudes. No, I don't need that.
- 9:10Speaker 2: I need Could you send two ninety year old ladies
- 9:14Speaker 2: to carry me down? That's what I'd like. Like this
- 9:18Speaker 2: is asinine and at some point, and never mind the
- 9:23Speaker 2: out of control crime, never mind the homelessness, never mind
- 9:26Speaker 2: Venice Beach, that the homeless camp they're assaulting people, never
- 9:30Speaker 2: mind the drug needles and parks, never mind the kids
- 9:33Speaker 2: stepping on fentanyl needles. Like watching what has happened to La,
- 9:38Speaker 2: It's tragic.
- 9:39Speaker 3: Look.
- 9:40Speaker 2: I spend a lot of time out out in California
- 9:42Speaker 2: because because Heidi's a native California and her whole family
- 9:45Speaker 2: are Californians, it's a spectacularly beautiful state. I have a
- 9:50Speaker 2: lot of dear friends who live there. When I look around,
- 9:52Speaker 2: they've got perfect weather, they've got the Pacific oceans, they've
- 9:55Speaker 2: got mountains. I mean, it's breath to taking.
- 9:57Speaker 3: It is actually beautiful.
- 9:59Speaker 2: And I look around, I'm like, how did they screw
- 10:02Speaker 2: this up? Like like it's not and and I.
- 10:05Speaker 3: Want to be up by the way it takes effort
- 10:08Speaker 3: to screw it up.
- 10:08Speaker 1: It's easy to be successful if that's what you're given
- 10:11Speaker 1: as your surroundings.
- 10:12Speaker 3: You look at it and you go, I love to
- 10:14Speaker 3: live here.
- 10:15Speaker 1: Like you go to California and you look at California,
- 10:17Speaker 1: I don't care if what part of the coast you're
- 10:20Speaker 1: up or down.
- 10:21Speaker 3: You see it and you're like, this is amazing.
- 10:23Speaker 1: The only way you could make people not want to
- 10:25Speaker 1: go there is if you have terrible services what you're describing,
- 10:29Speaker 1: insanely high taxes what you're describing, and anti business policies,
- 10:33Speaker 1: which which.
- 10:34Speaker 3: They also have there.
- 10:35Speaker 1: And then it forces people to make a tough decision,
- 10:37Speaker 1: which is I love the land, I love what I see,
- 10:41Speaker 1: but I got to get out of here.
- 10:42Speaker 3: I can't afford it.
- 10:44Speaker 2: And I want to be clear. Look, I like to
- 10:45Speaker 2: talk smack on the whole Texas versus California thing, and
- 10:48Speaker 2: that's a fun thing to do. But let me be clear,
- 10:54Speaker 2: California destroying itself is tragic for the country. Look, California
- 10:59Speaker 2: is our the largest state. California historically has been this
- 11:02Speaker 2: economic engine that has created enormous numbers of jobs. It's
- 11:07Speaker 2: been really valuable for the American economy. And to watch
- 11:11Speaker 2: people like Karen Bass, people like Gavin Newsom just destroy
- 11:15Speaker 2: it and destroy it. Newsome with this idiot wealth tax
- 11:19Speaker 2: has driven trillions of dollars out of the state. I mean,
- 11:22Speaker 2: they're just fleeing like crazy, and listen. I don't know
- 11:25Speaker 2: Spencer Pratt never met the guy. I have no idea
- 11:28Speaker 2: what his policies were. I will say the videos, the
- 11:30Speaker 2: viral videos that his campaign put out. I watched every
- 11:34Speaker 2: one of them. I love them. At one point I tweeted,
- 11:36Speaker 2: how could you not vote for this guy? Because he's
- 11:39Speaker 2: just saying he was not running a right wing campaign,
- 11:43Speaker 2: He was not running a conservative campaign. He was like,
- 11:46Speaker 2: how about a mayor that will stop your house from
- 11:48Speaker 2: burning down, stop criminals from murdering you, stop homeless people
- 11:52Speaker 2: from harassing and assaulting your children, and pick up the
- 11:56Speaker 2: needles in the park.
- 12:00Speaker 1: That's not conservative a liberal, that's just like, can we
- 12:02Speaker 1: get the basics right again so that we don't watch
- 12:05Speaker 1: the city like continue to go up in flames.
- 12:08Speaker 2: And the bizarre thing is is the voter said, okay,
- 12:13Speaker 2: So thirty four point seven percent said, hey, this is awesome,
- 12:17Speaker 2: we want more of this. Give us an incompetent comedy.
- 12:20Speaker 2: You doesn't know how to run a city. And then
- 12:23Speaker 2: the second biggest group of people one hundred and nine
- 12:26Speaker 2: hundred ninety eight said, you know what, she's not that
- 12:30Speaker 2: crap crazy enough. We've got someone that.
- 12:32Speaker 3: Is full on vot crazy. Yeah.
- 12:34Speaker 2: Turns out incompetent Marxist is not far enough, and so
- 12:39Speaker 2: they want full mandami. I guess you know it is.
- 12:44Speaker 1: We want everything for free. We don't want to have
- 12:45Speaker 1: to work, and we want our we want to be
- 12:47Speaker 1: able to have our drugs as well. All right, I
- 12:49Speaker 1: want to talk to you for a second about a
- 12:51Speaker 1: bill that you have every month. It is your cell
- 12:54Speaker 1: phone bill. Well, why not switch it to an incredible
- 12:58Speaker 1: company that actually takes a part of your bill every
- 13:00Speaker 1: single month and they give it back to conservative causes,
- 13:04Speaker 1: candidates and organizations that are fighting for what we believe in.
- 13:07Speaker 1: You may not realize that Big Mobile gives massive donations
- 13:11Speaker 1: to hardcore liberal causes and organizations, and even organizations that
- 13:17Speaker 1: advocate and support abortions. I don't want my money going there,
- 13:22Speaker 1: and that is why I switched to Patriot Mobile.
- 13:25Speaker 3: Now.
- 13:25Speaker 1: So many brands today they claim to stand for American values,
- 13:29Speaker 1: but most of the time it's all talk and it's
- 13:31Speaker 1: no action. And that's what makes Patriot Mobile so different.
- 13:35Speaker 1: For more than twelve years, Patriot Mobile has been living
- 13:38Speaker 1: their values and standing in the gap for every American
- 13:42Speaker 1: who believes freedom is worth fighting for. Their business was
- 13:45Speaker 1: founded on a simple conviction if culture is being shaped
- 13:49Speaker 1: through commerce, then you, as Americans, deserve a real conservative alternative. Now,
- 13:55Speaker 1: Patriot Mobile is proudly America's only Christian conservative wireless provider.
- 14:01Speaker 1: They offer premium priority nationwide service on any of the
- 14:05Speaker 1: three major US networks. They have unlimited data plans, international roaming,
- 14:10Speaker 1: and one hundred percent US based customer support. And with
- 14:13Speaker 1: Patriot Mobile, you can even have two separate networks on
- 14:17Speaker 1: one phone, giving you unmatched coverage and peace of mind
- 14:21Speaker 1: that you can't get with the other carriers. So go
- 14:24Speaker 1: to Patriotmobile dot com. Slash Verdict and you are going
- 14:28Speaker 1: to get a free month of service with a promo
- 14:31Speaker 1: code Vertict. Or you can call them nine to seven
- 14:34Speaker 1: to two Patriot. That's nine seven to two Patriot nine
- 14:39Speaker 1: seven to two Patriot. Or call them and go online
- 14:43Speaker 1: at Patriot mobile dot com slash verdict promo code verdict
- 14:47Speaker 1: for a free month of service. Make the switch and
- 14:50Speaker 1: make a difference every time you pay your bill. I
- 14:53Speaker 1: also have to ask you this question, though, and I
- 14:55Speaker 1: go back, because I was watching this explode on X
- 14:58Speaker 1: You mentioned earlier how long it's taken to get the
- 15:01Speaker 1: vote in in a local election. This goes back to
- 15:06Speaker 1: twenty sixteen. This goes back to twenty twenty. This goes
- 15:09Speaker 1: back to a lot of election issues that a lot
- 15:12Speaker 1: of I think same conservatives, non conspiracy theorists.
- 15:17Speaker 3: I'm one of them now.
- 15:18Speaker 1: I'm like, when you watch him go from second place
- 15:22Speaker 1: and drop down to third all of a sudden, and
- 15:23Speaker 1: it took a week to count, why would anybody have
- 15:27Speaker 1: any faith in that system? Center like that's and look,
- 15:32Speaker 1: I think a lot of us post COVID and all
- 15:35Speaker 1: the lies that we were told on about COVID, and hey,
- 15:37Speaker 1: six feet stop and spread. The list goes on and on,
- 15:39Speaker 1: the vaccine, and the list goes on and on. But
- 15:43Speaker 1: there's people like me that look at this sho're like,
- 15:46Speaker 1: I'm gonna throw up a red flag here and say,
- 15:48Speaker 1: if it takes you a week to count the votes,
- 15:51Speaker 1: something just doesn't seem right with that. And this is
- 15:54Speaker 1: where people genuinely start to have distrust in the election.
- 15:58Speaker 1: And then that also means a lot of people then go, well,
- 16:00Speaker 1: why do I even vote? It's rigged, right, That's that's
- 16:02Speaker 1: what I don't want to happen. But that's what people
- 16:04Speaker 1: think is maybe I shouldn't even vote. It's not wasting
- 16:06Speaker 1: my time, it's it takes them a week. I don't
- 16:08Speaker 1: believe my vote matters or even as counted correctly.
- 16:11Speaker 2: Well, and listen, in California, it is illegal for officials
- 16:15Speaker 2: to check a photo ID. Yes, so we know that
- 16:18Speaker 2: illegal aliens are voting. We know that illegal votes are counted.
- 16:21Speaker 2: They also they vote overwhelmingly by mail and and and
- 16:25Speaker 2: it's worth reminding everyone that the last major bipartisan study
- 16:30Speaker 2: of election integrity that was chaired by former Democrat President
- 16:33Speaker 2: Jimmy Carter and chaired by former Republican Secretary of State
- 16:37Speaker 2: James Baker. The Carter Baker Commission concluded that voting by
- 16:40Speaker 2: mail increases the chances of election fraud, and they also
- 16:46Speaker 2: concluded that that ballot harvesting, the ability of paid operatives
- 16:54Speaker 2: to collect ballots and then send them in by mail,
- 16:57Speaker 2: is the single most dangerous policy because what happens is
- 17:00Speaker 2: a collop correct operative can say, go into a nursing
- 17:03Speaker 2: home with the ballots of every person there and fill
- 17:05Speaker 2: them out. And you can have people are completely senile
- 17:07Speaker 2: who are in a coma, they can fill out the
- 17:09Speaker 2: ballot and vote for them. They can also see who
- 17:12Speaker 2: the person votes for. And let's say someone has a
- 17:14Speaker 2: moment of sanity and they vote for someone they don't like.
- 17:17Speaker 2: A corrupt operative can just throw that ballot in the trash.
- 17:20Speaker 2: So ballot harvesting makes voter fraud much more likely. What
- 17:24Speaker 2: does California do allows ballot harvesting? Now, let me say
- 17:28Speaker 2: it's the gubernatorial election. We don't know who's going to
- 17:32Speaker 2: be in the runoff, it's a week.
- 17:33Speaker 5: End to it.
- 17:35Speaker 2: So far, they've concluded that Javier Besserra, who is the
- 17:38Speaker 2: California Attorney General, who is in the midst of a
- 17:41Speaker 2: corruption scandal, who is incompetent who is a far left radical.
- 17:45Speaker 2: He's in first place. And then as of Sunday morning,
- 17:50Speaker 2: conservative commentator Steve Hilton holds the lead for second place
- 17:54Speaker 2: over billionaire Democrat Tom steyerh Hilton was the top choice
- 17:59Speaker 2: for twenty six point one percent of voters and Styers
- 18:01Speaker 2: for twenty one point three percent of voters. But you
- 18:04Speaker 2: know what, given the drop of ballots, who knows, maybe
- 18:08Speaker 2: that could flip and in fairly short order you'll see
- 18:11Speaker 2: two Democrats. But let me read a story from the
- 18:14Speaker 2: San Francisco paper because it asked how many votes are
- 18:17Speaker 2: left to be counted, and it says, according to the
- 18:21Speaker 2: California Secretary of State's office, there are approximately three million
- 18:24Speaker 2: unprocessed votes. As of Saturday evening, over six point three
- 18:29Speaker 2: million ballots have been counted. Updated vote totals normally drop
- 18:35Speaker 2: in the evenings. Why does California take so long to
- 18:39Speaker 2: count votes? The Secretary of State's office explains on its
- 18:43Speaker 2: site that there are a few reasons why Californians often
- 18:45Speaker 2: wait days or weeks for the full results. Mail end
- 18:48Speaker 2: ballots that are received within a week of election day
- 18:51Speaker 2: need processing, which means some of the ballots still in
- 18:53Speaker 2: the mail system may need counting. Once a ballot is received,
- 18:56Speaker 2: the Secretary of State says, quote, election officials must confirm
- 18:59Speaker 2: each voter's ready to stration status, verify each voter signature
- 19:02Speaker 2: on the vote by mail envelope, and ensure that each
- 19:05Speaker 2: person did not vote elsewhere in the same election before
- 19:08Speaker 2: the ballot can be counted. That's no small feat for
- 19:11Speaker 2: a state as large as California, which has about as
- 19:14Speaker 2: residents as the entire population of Canada. Nonetheless, both Republicans
- 19:18Speaker 2: and Democrats agree the process should be speedier. On Friday,
- 19:22Speaker 2: a spokesperson for Governor Gavin Newsom told the San Francisco
- 19:25Speaker 2: paper that Newsom quote wishes the vote count mood faster too. Well, dufous,
- 19:34Speaker 2: there is a way to fix it, which is don't
- 19:38Speaker 2: let people mail their damn ballot in on election day
- 19:41Speaker 2: and mail in ballots, require the ballots be received by
- 19:45Speaker 2: election day. Look, we actually have in Texas. We have
- 19:49Speaker 2: early voting. We have two weeks of early voting, and
- 19:53Speaker 2: much of that, most of that is in person, and
- 19:56Speaker 2: it's really quite easy to vote. I usually vote early
- 19:59Speaker 2: and you go into the polling place and you can
- 20:01Speaker 2: do it there if you vote early. There are almost
- 20:03Speaker 2: never any lines. You wait in line maybe five minutes ago,
- 20:06Speaker 2: vote and it's quick at easy. You do a paper ballot,
- 20:07Speaker 2: they put it in, they count it, and so the
- 20:09Speaker 2: early votes. Right now in Texas about two thirds of
- 20:12Speaker 2: the votes are cast early, and they're cast early in person.
- 20:15Speaker 2: We have limited mail in ballots for people who are seniors,
- 20:19Speaker 2: people with disabilities, for military those serving the military. That oversees,
- 20:24Speaker 2: so it's a limited number of exceptions. But we managed
- 20:28Speaker 2: to get and then the remainder of the ballots are
- 20:30Speaker 2: in person on election day, and we don't have people
- 20:32Speaker 2: mailing in ballots on election day. You've got to get
- 20:36Speaker 2: your ballots in and Texas, let's be clear, California has
- 20:41Speaker 2: the highest population of the country, but what's number two. Texas.
- 20:43Speaker 2: We managed to get our votes counted, typically by election day,
- 20:47Speaker 2: or occasionally, if it's a really close election, it may
- 20:50Speaker 2: drag on a day or two. If it's down to
- 20:52Speaker 2: like like if it's neck and neck, it could drag
- 20:54Speaker 2: on a day or two. But that is the exception
- 20:57Speaker 2: rather than the rule. By the way, Florida, same thing.
- 21:00Speaker 2: They're there, they have the third highest population. Somehow Florida
- 21:03Speaker 2: manages to count their damn ballots and and so listen.
- 21:07Speaker 2: I don't know in LA if the looney communists surging
- 21:12Speaker 2: ahead of Spencer Pratt is a result of voter fraud
- 21:16Speaker 2: or a result of a bunch of voters who just say,
- 21:20Speaker 2: you know what, it's so bad, I want it worse.
- 21:22Speaker 2: But but like nobody, And let's be clear, this is
- 21:27Speaker 2: not just lefty Californians that are like, oh, I love abortion, okay,
- 21:31Speaker 2: K five, look the question of choice in life. I
- 21:34Speaker 2: have no idea what Spencer Pratt's view is, but I
- 21:36Speaker 2: can't believe he's anything but pro choice. No reason to
- 21:39Speaker 2: think anything else. It's not about gay rights. I'm not
- 21:42Speaker 2: aware of any of view Spencer Pratt has about gay rights.
- 21:45Speaker 2: I assume that that that we're two years away from
- 21:47Speaker 2: them making it mandatory for every child in the California
- 21:50Speaker 2: public schools to be transgender. So like that's the path
- 21:53Speaker 2: there on is is Ben? Congratulations your three boys. We're
- 21:57Speaker 2: now going to surgically sterilize them, whether they want it
- 22:01Speaker 2: or not. They're not quite there yet, but they ain't far.
- 22:05Speaker 3: But they're not.
- 22:06Speaker 2: Those were not the issues in this race. This was
- 22:11Speaker 2: not socially. We're liberal blah blah blah. I don't agree
- 22:15Speaker 2: with that, but that's not what this was over. This
- 22:18Speaker 2: is people saying, no, I don't want a mayor who
- 22:23Speaker 2: can hire a fire department who can put out a
- 22:25Speaker 2: damn fire. No, I don't want a mayor who could
- 22:28Speaker 2: actually hire police officers who could arrest murderers. No, I
- 22:32Speaker 2: don't want a city that stops crackheads from leaving leaving
- 22:39Speaker 2: drugs on the streets, from people defecating on the streets,
- 22:42Speaker 2: from putting needles on the streets, from threatening our kids.
- 22:47Speaker 2: Apparently the people of la are like, Nope, no basic services,
- 22:51Speaker 2: not interested in those. I just want you know, it
- 22:56Speaker 2: is somewhere between you know, mindcomf and the communist manifesto,
- 23:01Speaker 2: and that's what they care about.
- 23:04Speaker 1: Final question on this if you do end up having
- 23:07Speaker 1: even let's say bass loves and you go to even
- 23:09Speaker 1: more extreme kind of it turns Mandani, what does that
- 23:13Speaker 1: say about this country that are two of their biggest
- 23:15Speaker 1: state cities in the nation have gone this far to
- 23:19Speaker 1: the extreme.
- 23:20Speaker 3: It's not even the Democratic Party anymore.
- 23:22Speaker 1: We're talking about communism and socialism in our biggest cities
- 23:25Speaker 1: on the west and East coast.
- 23:28Speaker 2: And by the way. To be clear, Karen Bass is
- 23:30Speaker 2: already pretty much where Mandannie is. Yeah, like there's not
- 23:35Speaker 2: a whole lot of daylight. So this looney leftist who
- 23:39Speaker 2: thinks Bass is too conservative, I shudder to think what
- 23:43Speaker 2: the hell that means. Like it's getting to the point
- 23:48Speaker 2: it's not healthy for a country. And I have to
- 23:51Speaker 2: assume that there are a lot of voters in LA
- 23:55Speaker 2: who are not paying attention. Look, there are a lot
- 23:56Speaker 2: of Republicans in California who are demores, who don't think
- 24:01Speaker 2: it matters anymore, who stay home. That is a big factor.
- 24:06Speaker 2: I'll tell you, as I said, I'm out in California
- 24:09Speaker 2: quite a bit. And when I'm out there, I will
- 24:11Speaker 2: have people in LA come up to me and they'll
- 24:13Speaker 2: sort of look to the ground and they'll furtively look around,
- 24:16Speaker 2: and they'll say, ted, I'm the only conservative in California,
- 24:22Speaker 2: And I'll.
- 24:22Speaker 3: Tell them, no, no, you're not, you're not.
- 24:25Speaker 2: And in fact, do you know what state has the
- 24:27Speaker 2: most Republicans in it?
- 24:29Speaker 3: California.
- 24:30Speaker 2: Yes, there are more Republicans in California than there are
- 24:33Speaker 2: in Texas. Now there are even more Democrats. They are outnumbered.
- 24:38Speaker 2: But it's almost like when they come up to me.
- 24:40Speaker 2: It's like the Christians in the ancient Colosseum, where with
- 24:43Speaker 2: the foot they make the shape of a fish in
- 24:46Speaker 2: the sand. They are beaten down. And I will say
- 24:50Speaker 2: an awful lot of Republicans don't show up because they
- 24:54Speaker 2: believe it is hopeless, and unfortunately, that belief too often
- 24:58Speaker 2: can become a self fulfilling prophecy.
- 25:00Speaker 1: I want to take a quick moment and talk to
- 25:02Speaker 1: you about an incredible organization and it is called Compassion International,
- 25:07Speaker 1: and how you can get involved. Love, generosity, and compassion.
- 25:11Speaker 1: We say those words all the time and they sound good,
- 25:14Speaker 1: they feel good, but here's the truth. Those words don't
- 25:18Speaker 1: mean anything unless they turn into action, and right now,
- 25:23Speaker 1: not later, today, not tomorrow. There's a child in the
- 25:26Speaker 1: world who doesn't know if they'll eat, if they'll have
- 25:30Speaker 1: a chance to learn, or if there's any hope at all.
- 25:34Speaker 1: And while we're all busy, life keeps moving forward, but
- 25:38Speaker 1: that child is waiting. This is where you come in.
- 25:42Speaker 1: With Compassion International. You have the chance to change a
- 25:45Speaker 1: child's future, not just with words, not with promises, but
- 25:49Speaker 1: with real help that provides food, education and hope through
- 25:54Speaker 1: local churches and people already in their community. Put your
- 25:59Speaker 1: words into act and join me introduce a child to
- 26:03Speaker 1: a loving heavenly father today at Compassion dot com. That's
- 26:08Speaker 1: Compassion dot com. All right, let's timestamp this. It is
- 26:13Speaker 1: twelve thirty seven am Eastern time as we're recording right now, center,
- 26:18Speaker 1: and so let's talk about what's happening right now in
- 26:20Speaker 1: the Middle East.
- 26:21Speaker 3: We have had a flare up. I think it's a
- 26:24Speaker 3: fair way to put it.
- 26:25Speaker 1: Israel involved, Iran involved hitting Terris targets as well in Lebanon.
- 26:29Speaker 1: This is turned into a bigger deal. The President trying
- 26:32Speaker 1: to still get this deal done with I ran making
- 26:36Speaker 1: phone calls apparently to Bib Netanyahu's saying, hey, let's not
- 26:39Speaker 1: go too heavy here. Let us see if we can
- 26:41Speaker 1: keep this framework together. Trying to keep that seasfire together
- 26:44Speaker 1: as well. There's an awful lot happening right now.
- 26:48Speaker 2: Well, let's talk about the latest news. And as you noted,
- 26:51Speaker 2: it is Sunday night, so things could break by by Monday.
- 26:56Speaker 2: By the time this podcast is out, we could have
- 26:58Speaker 2: more news breaking. But as of right now, the latest
- 27:00Speaker 2: news Axios reported just a few minutes ago, quote the
- 27:05Speaker 2: Israeli Air Force conducted strikes on military targets in central
- 27:08Speaker 2: and western Iran on Monday morning local time. The Israel
- 27:11Speaker 2: Defense Forces said to statement, the strikes in retaliation for
- 27:14Speaker 2: an Iranian missile attack against Israel, mark a new phase
- 27:18Speaker 2: in a growing escalation that started on Sunday morning. This
- 27:23Speaker 2: is the first time Israel has struck Iran since the
- 27:26Speaker 2: April eight ceasefire. Further exchanges of fire could unravel the
- 27:31Speaker 2: negotiations between the United States and Iran and lead to
- 27:34Speaker 2: the resumption of the war. President Trump told Israeli Prime
- 27:38Speaker 2: Minister Benjamin Netanyah, who hours before the strikes, not to
- 27:41Speaker 2: retaliate after Tehran conducted a retaliatory attack on Israel. A
- 27:46Speaker 2: US defense official said the US military was not involved
- 27:49Speaker 2: in the Israeli strikes on Iran. The official said the
- 27:53Speaker 2: Israeli strikes were relatively limited in their scope, so we
- 28:00Speaker 2: have returned to firing missiles. Active hostility between Iran and Israel.
- 28:06Speaker 2: Both have fired missiles at each other in the past
- 28:09Speaker 2: twenty four hours. That certainly has the potential to escalate.
- 28:14Speaker 2: And also Sunday morning, President Trump was on Meet the Press.
- 28:17Speaker 2: He was asked about Iran. Here's what President Trump had
- 28:21Speaker 2: to say.
- 28:22Speaker 4: Their leaders are gone.
- 28:23Speaker 5: Do you know where all of Iran's nuclear material is? Yes? Yes,
- 28:29Speaker 5: Would you unfreeze any Iranian assets or lift any sanctions
- 28:33Speaker 5: up front as a part of any rail so that
- 28:36Speaker 5: would come after after if they turned over the material.
- 28:42Speaker 4: Unlike Obama, Obama flew a Boeing seven fifty seven a plane.
- 28:47Speaker 4: I know very well. They took the seats out and
- 28:50Speaker 4: they loaded it up with one point seven billion dollars
- 28:53Speaker 4: in cash from the banks in Maryland and Virginia and DC.
- 28:58Speaker 4: They emptied at the back and they gave them one
- 29:01Speaker 4: point seven in green and they gave them tens of
- 29:04Speaker 4: billions of dollars, just kept giving them money and it
- 29:07Speaker 4: didn't work.
- 29:08Speaker 5: Would any again? But again, mister president, you promised that
- 29:13Speaker 5: you were going to negotiate a better deal.
- 29:15Speaker 3: Do you whip?
- 29:17Speaker 1: You listen to the president there, and I do think
- 29:19Speaker 1: it's really interesting to see how quick I meet the press.
- 29:23Speaker 1: They wanted to get back in his face to go
- 29:25Speaker 1: but this is a disaster, like he's like, it's three months.
- 29:28Speaker 3: Like what I'm doing right now is really tough.
- 29:31Speaker 1: Others said they were in favor of what I'm doing,
- 29:33Speaker 1: they didn't do it the way I'm doing it.
- 29:35Speaker 3: I'm holding them accountable.
- 29:37Speaker 1: This goes back to just perspective here, I think is
- 29:40Speaker 1: the biggest thing of the President saying.
- 29:41Speaker 2: Well, what the President said that is very clear is
- 29:44Speaker 2: he's drawn a red line and he's insisting that Iran
- 29:46Speaker 2: comply with his red line. His red lines, which we've
- 29:49Speaker 2: talked about at length. Or Number one, no nukes, no
- 29:51Speaker 2: nuclear materials. They have no nuclear in Richmond, and they
- 29:55Speaker 2: have to hand over the enricheradium. They have number two,
- 29:57Speaker 2: they have to stop funding terrorism. Number or three, they
- 30:00Speaker 2: have to open the strait of Hormus. And you will
- 30:04Speaker 2: not see he has said, sanctions relief. You will not
- 30:07Speaker 2: see money going to them until they comply with those conditions.
- 30:11Speaker 2: That's the right way to negotiate. Both Barack Obama and
- 30:13Speaker 2: Joe Biden just flooded billions, yeah, into Iran. As the
- 30:17Speaker 2: President said, Obama literally flew a plane filled with almost
- 30:20Speaker 2: two billion dollars in cash, palettes of cash into Iran
- 30:24Speaker 2: in the dead of night. There was another exchange President
- 30:27Speaker 2: Trump had had with meet the press. Give a listen
- 30:29Speaker 2: to this.
- 30:29Speaker 4: One, and they would have had a nuclear weapon five
- 30:31Speaker 4: years ago.
- 30:32Speaker 5: But mister President, I'm curious because when you were campaigning,
- 30:35Speaker 5: you said you would rip up the around nuclear deal
- 30:38Speaker 5: but negotiate a better deal. Why didn't you negotiate a
- 30:41Speaker 5: better deal at the time, Because after it was ripped
- 30:44Speaker 5: their work guardrails and they escalated their production of enriched duration.
- 30:48Speaker 4: Use me, it takes years to do these things. These
- 30:51Speaker 4: people have been fighting for forty seven years. They've been
- 30:55Speaker 4: killing Americans. They've been taking off their legs and their
- 30:58Speaker 4: arm and their faces have been hurt so badly and
- 31:00Speaker 4: so horribly. I'm moving very fast. I'm into three months.
- 31:05Speaker 4: You know, Vietnam lasted nineteen years. I'm into my third month.
- 31:09Speaker 4: And all I do is say, well, what are you
- 31:11Speaker 4: going to win? If I were a Democrat, nobody would
- 31:14Speaker 4: be talking that way. But it doesn't matter to me.
- 31:15Speaker 4: I have gotten so used to it. Look, we have
- 31:19Speaker 4: totally destroyed their military. They have some missiles left, They
- 31:23Speaker 4: have some drones left.
- 31:24Speaker 5: Do you know how many minutes?
- 31:25Speaker 1: Yes?
- 31:25Speaker 5: Exactly how many?
- 31:27Speaker 4: I don't want to tell you.
- 31:28Speaker 3: Can you give me to have some left? No?
- 31:30Speaker 4: But they have. I know almost to the number. And
- 31:33Speaker 4: we know where they are too, And we know where
- 31:35Speaker 4: their drones are, and we know where their drone factories
- 31:38Speaker 4: are Most of the drone factories have been knocked out,
- 31:40Speaker 4: most of the launching pads have been knocked out, and
- 31:43Speaker 4: most of the missile manufacturing areas have been knocked out.
- 31:47Speaker 4: But they still have capacity. They have some missiles, they
- 31:50Speaker 4: have some drones. I would say percentage wise, maybe twenty
- 31:55Speaker 4: one twenty two percent of their missiles. It's a lot
- 31:58Speaker 4: of missiles, but it's not what it was when we
- 32:00Speaker 4: first attacked.
- 32:01Speaker 5: So you're saying they have twenty one twenty two percent
- 32:04Speaker 5: of their missiles.
- 32:04Speaker 1: Left, correct, Yes, I just I got to say I
- 32:08Speaker 1: laugh at how they want him to tell them in
- 32:11Speaker 1: phreings like I'm not going to tell you that public, Well,
- 32:14Speaker 1: why won't you because I'm not going to tell the
- 32:16Speaker 1: enemy what I know on everything.
- 32:18Speaker 3: This seems pretty normal.
- 32:20Speaker 1: Yet the entire interview had that level of hostility in it.
- 32:24Speaker 2: Yeah. Look, I mean NBC unfortunately it is approaching this,
- 32:28Speaker 2: and it has approached this like like the rest of
- 32:30Speaker 2: the corporate media, with effectively rooting for the United States
- 32:34Speaker 2: to lose. As the President laid out, the United States
- 32:38Speaker 2: has had extraordinary military results in this conflict. Eighty percent
- 32:43Speaker 2: of the missiles, eighty percent of the drones, destroyed, virtually
- 32:46Speaker 2: all of the drone manufacturing and missile capacity, destroyed, the
- 32:50Speaker 2: air Force in rubble, the Navy sunken at the bottom
- 32:53Speaker 2: of the ocean. The Iyatola did, many of the Mulla's dead,
- 32:57Speaker 2: many of the leaders of the IRGC did. And her question,
- 33:01Speaker 2: she says, well, why didn't you negotiate a better deal?
- 33:03Speaker 2: And you know, I'm listening to that wondering. You know,
- 33:06Speaker 2: it's like someone saying to the police, why didn't you
- 33:10Speaker 2: negotiate a better deal with Charles Manson, Why don't you
- 33:12Speaker 2: negotiate a better a deal with Jeffrey Dahmer. Why don't
- 33:14Speaker 2: you negotiate a better deal with Ted Bundy. It is
- 33:19Speaker 2: not possible to negotiate a deal with someone who's only
- 33:23Speaker 2: objective is to murder you. And the media refuses to
- 33:28Speaker 2: acknowledge that. They said, They're like, you know, the right
- 33:31Speaker 2: solution is send them billions of dollars. That's what democrats want.
- 33:35Speaker 2: It is complete appeasement. It is denial of the reality
- 33:39Speaker 2: that when the Iatola says death to America, he means it.
- 33:43Speaker 2: And the reason President Trump is waging this war is
- 33:46Speaker 2: because if the Iatola got nuclear weapons, we could see
- 33:52Speaker 2: hundreds of thousands of Americans murdered in a flash of
- 33:55Speaker 2: an eye, and the president is not going to let
- 33:58Speaker 2: that happen. It is I gotta say, By the way,
- 34:04Speaker 2: I'm quite confident the folks at NBC News are cheering
- 34:07Speaker 2: the results of the La Marrior's race because the last
- 34:10Speaker 2: thing they want is a mayor that can actually put
- 34:13Speaker 2: out fires or arrest criminals.
- 34:15Speaker 1: Yeah, that's a great point. We're going to keep you
- 34:17Speaker 1: updated on both of these stories. Don't forget. We do
- 34:20Speaker 1: this show Monday, Wednesday Friday, so hit that subscriber auto
- 34:22Speaker 1: download button and you can watch on YouTube. A lot

- 34:27Speaker 1: We see the numbers grow every week. So make sure
- 34:29Speaker 1: that if you want to watch a show on YouTube,
- 34:31Speaker 1: you can do that as well, and on Facebook and

- 34:35Speaker 1: Wednesday morning.
