- 0:01Speaker 1: I'm live in Washington, d C. And have had some
- 0:03Speaker 1: very interesting meetings over the last two days, speaking with
- 0:07Speaker 1: the Treasury Secretary, doing Fox News Sunday as well, and
- 0:11Speaker 1: then having a meeting with the Speaker of the House,
- 0:14Speaker 1: Mike Johnson. All of this ahead of the State of
- 0:16Speaker 1: the Union. What I can tell you that I learned
- 0:19Speaker 1: from Speaker Johnson and from the Treasury Secretary is honestly
- 0:22Speaker 1: a lot about the accomplishments of the President from the
- 0:26Speaker 1: tariffs and the amount of money that came in to
- 0:29Speaker 1: doge and also making sure that Americans came first in
- 0:33Speaker 1: our policies bring American jobs back to the US. And
- 0:37Speaker 1: that's exactly the challenge for President Donald Trump on Tuesday night. Now,
- 0:42Speaker 1: the President is going to try to sell voters on
- 0:44Speaker 1: the record of his first year back in power. To say,
- 0:48Speaker 1: the Union Address is extremely important because the President knows
- 0:51Speaker 1: that if he wants to have four years of success,
- 0:54Speaker 1: it's going to start with this State of the Union
- 0:57Speaker 1: after a year of breakneck activity, is how is described
- 1:01Speaker 1: by me by the Speaker of the House. The seventy
- 1:03Speaker 1: nine year old Republican flagship speech to Congress is also
- 1:07Speaker 1: coming in a very tense time. Now, Trump is unhappy
- 1:11Speaker 1: with a string of recent developments, including polls citing lower
- 1:15Speaker 1: than expected approval ratings and the Supreme Court striking down
- 1:19Speaker 1: his signature issue of the tariffs, a cornerstone of his
- 1:22Speaker 1: economic agenda. The good news is he's already found the workaround.
- 1:27Speaker 1: In fact, Brett Kavanaugh talked about it in his writing
- 1:30Speaker 1: from the Court. Now, Trump is now really focused on
- 1:34Speaker 1: getting things done and reminding Americans about what has already
- 1:39Speaker 1: been done. Adding to all of this, Donald Trump will
- 1:42Speaker 1: be speaking right in front of the same justices, including
- 1:46Speaker 1: two of his own appointees, over the Supreme Court ruling
- 1:50Speaker 1: on tariffs. If Democrats went back either the House or
- 1:54Speaker 1: the Senate in November, it would paralyze Trump's second term,
- 1:59Speaker 1: something that Speaker Jhnson talked very bluntly about this morning.
- 2:03Speaker 1: He made it clear that we know what we have
- 2:06Speaker 1: to do in Congress, and with a slim majority, literally
- 2:09Speaker 1: one vote, right now, he needs everything to go right
- 2:14Speaker 1: and the President needs to deliver an amazing speech.
- 2:18Speaker 2: Now.
- 2:18Speaker 1: Donald Trump shows no signs of backing down. In this speech,
- 2:23Speaker 1: it is likely to mix defense of his first year
- 2:26Speaker 1: with a launching pad for the midterm elections. Reminding Americans
- 2:30Speaker 1: why this election is important to the entire Trump agenda
- 2:34Speaker 1: that so many voted for. It's going to be a
- 2:36Speaker 1: long speech because we have so much to talk about,
- 2:39Speaker 1: is what Trump said from the White House on Monday.
- 2:42Speaker 1: The president also dismissed fake polls, including a Washington Post
- 2:46Speaker 1: ABC News poll published on Sunday showing his approval rating
- 2:50Speaker 1: at just thirty nine percent. Now, there's also something else.
- 2:55Speaker 1: It's brewing in the chamber, and it may not be
- 2:57Speaker 1: yelling or interrupting of the President, but it may be
- 3:00Speaker 1: Democrats not showing up for the speech at all. What
- 3:04Speaker 1: we do know is there is a civil war within
- 3:06Speaker 1: the Democratic Party at the same time the President will
- 3:09Speaker 1: be speaking, and that is over who should be responding
- 3:12Speaker 1: to the President and what the Democrats agenda items should
- 3:16Speaker 1: actually be. There's also who is even going to be
- 3:21Speaker 1: in the chamber, as some Democrats are already announcing they
- 3:24Speaker 1: will refuse to attend and they want there to even
- 3:27Speaker 1: be a walkout of the President's speech. Now Democrats are
- 3:32Speaker 1: lining up for the responses as well. Four different Democrats
- 3:36Speaker 1: will respond to the State of the Union, showing just
- 3:39Speaker 1: how well fracture the Democratic Party is. Right now they
- 3:44Speaker 1: want to have a mainstream response. Then they want to
- 3:47Speaker 1: have a less of a mainstream response, and they want
- 3:49Speaker 1: to have a socialist response, and they want to have
- 3:51Speaker 1: a language only Hispanic response. This is not a joke.
- 3:56Speaker 1: This is the Democratic Party right now. Tina Smith, a
- 4:00Speaker 1: Democratic Center from Minnesota, said she would skip the entire
- 4:04Speaker 1: thing quote because Trump uses speeches to spread lies, not
- 4:09Speaker 1: to mention their long and boring. She's hoping other Democrats
- 4:13Speaker 1: will follow her lead.
- 4:15Speaker 2: Now.
- 4:15Speaker 1: The speech comes after a year in which Trump has
- 4:18Speaker 1: asserted unprecedented executive power, targeting opponents and putting his name
- 4:24Speaker 1: on signature items as well as buildings in Washington, d C,
- 4:28Speaker 1: Which of course Democrats are furious over. Trump will also
- 4:32Speaker 1: be keen to toeut his administration and what he says
- 4:35Speaker 1: are the massive successes that the American people voted for
- 4:39Speaker 1: on securing our border, on immigration and making it clear
- 4:43Speaker 1: that we're going after the bad own Brakes who are
- 4:46Speaker 1: committing crimes in this country. He will also talk about
- 4:49Speaker 1: lowering crime in liberal cities. There's no doubt that the
- 4:53Speaker 1: present's decision in Memphis and even in Chicago, in Minnesota,
- 4:58Speaker 1: in Washington, d C. And others are going to be
- 5:00Speaker 1: highlights of his speech talking about how all Americans should
- 5:04Speaker 1: feel safe. Some polls show that while voters like his
- 5:08Speaker 1: overall stance on immigration, they don't like the aggressive raids.
- 5:13Speaker 1: The President's going to talk obviously about that as well,
- 5:17Speaker 1: and those operations have inspired protests funded by Democrats and
- 5:22Speaker 1: led to the deaths of two US citizens in January.
- 5:26Speaker 1: On the economy, he'll be selling what he claims is
- 5:29Speaker 1: success in cutting inflation and restoring what he calls a
- 5:33Speaker 1: golden age of America. One significant challenge that he will
- 5:38Speaker 1: face in the speech just convincing moderate and liberal voters
- 5:41Speaker 1: who are still worried about the cost of living that
- 5:44Speaker 1: he's doing enough. But then there are things the president
- 5:47Speaker 1: has done that are just now getting enacted. A great
- 5:50Speaker 1: example of that is no tax on tips and no
- 5:53Speaker 1: tax on overtime, just now becoming a reality. And then
- 5:58Speaker 1: there's foreign peal. The world is watching, especially with what's
- 6:03Speaker 1: happening in Iran, and many are going to be watching
- 6:06Speaker 1: for hints from President Trump about possible military action after
- 6:10Speaker 1: the build up in the Gulf against Iran, with a
- 6:13Speaker 1: huge US military build up and Tehran saying well, they're
- 6:17Speaker 1: not sure they want to make any deal on nuclear proliferation.
- 6:22Speaker 1: The President will also have to deal with the issue
- 6:24Speaker 1: of Israel in the Middle East as well, and we'll
- 6:27Speaker 1: expect to hear from the President Ukraine and Russia. He'll
- 6:30Speaker 1: also talk about the wars that he has ended since
- 6:33Speaker 1: being in office for the first full year. And then
- 6:36Speaker 1: there are also the other domestic issues. The President honoring
- 6:40Speaker 1: the Angel families at the White House the day before
- 6:43Speaker 1: the Stay of the Union, talking about how his administration
- 6:46Speaker 1: will never forget those that were killed by illegal immigrants.
- 6:49Speaker 1: What was interesting about this moment the White House is
- 6:52Speaker 1: many of the mainstream media stations and cable news networks
- 6:56Speaker 1: refused to cover the event altogether. They didn't want him
- 6:59Speaker 1: to talk about this the American people ahead of the
- 7:02Speaker 1: Stay of the Union. But what the President did say
- 7:04Speaker 1: was heartbreaking.
- 7:06Speaker 3: Americans like Laken and Grant and Hovey, Joshua, Rocky, Rachel, Kayla,
- 7:13Speaker 3: these are great people and We're never gonna forget them.
- 7:15Speaker 3: I'll never forget them. I don't know how long I'll
- 7:17Speaker 3: be around. Got a lot of people gunning for me,
- 7:21Speaker 3: don't I have, But I will not forget them. I'm
- 7:25Speaker 3: never gonna forget them, and I just think you're among
- 7:29Speaker 3: the most brave people. I meet a lot of brave people.
- 7:32Speaker 4: I meet warriors.
- 7:33Speaker 3: I give out Congressional medals of Honor where people recommend,
- 7:37Speaker 3: like these two in front of me are so wonderful,
- 7:39Speaker 3: but they recommend, and I meet the greatest people. But
- 7:41Speaker 3: this is a group of people that, for whatever reason,
- 7:44Speaker 3: I just feel maybe the warmest about. So at least
- 7:49Speaker 3: you have one friend, and we don't understand why you
- 7:52Speaker 3: don't have many, and maybe you will, I don't know.
- 7:55Speaker 1: There can also be some exciting moments of the stay
- 7:58Speaker 1: of the Union, I'm being told as well, can include
- 8:00Speaker 1: things like the US hockey team as a possibility to
- 8:04Speaker 1: have some sort of appearance that would be made during
- 8:07Speaker 1: the State of the Union, and again that is speculation.
- 8:10Speaker 1: We'll all have to watch and see what happens in
- 8:13Speaker 1: prime time. But ultimately the speech is about the President
- 8:17Speaker 1: convincing the American people with the midterms coming up, he
- 8:21Speaker 1: has the country on the right direction and that the
- 8:24Speaker 1: things that he promised he was going to deliver for
- 8:26Speaker 1: the American people are actually becoming true. There is also
- 8:31Speaker 1: another aspect of the speech that the President needs to
- 8:33Speaker 1: be honest with the American people about what this country
- 8:36Speaker 1: will look like and his administration. If Democrats control the
- 8:39Speaker 1: House or the Senate, the entire Trump agenda that so
- 8:44Speaker 1: many Americans voted for would instantly be stopped, derailed, and
- 8:48Speaker 1: then the weaponization of the government would be in full force.
- 8:52Speaker 1: If Democrats go back to control the House of the Senate,
- 8:54Speaker 1: you can rest assured that they'll investigate everyone around Donald Trump,
- 8:58Speaker 1: and not only Donald Trump, but also his family, his allies.
- 9:02Speaker 1: And there's a very good chance to impeach Donald Trump
- 9:06Speaker 1: for a third time. So that is what this State
- 9:09Speaker 1: of the Union's going to be about. I'll be in
- 9:11Speaker 1: DC and I'll have everything about this speech for you
- 9:15Speaker 1: as well. And the reaction after the State of the Union.
- 9:19Speaker 1: One thing's for sure, it's going to be very exciting
- 9:22Speaker 1: to listen to. And his speaker Johnson said it. Donald
- 9:25Speaker 1: Trump knows he's got to fight hard to remind America
- 9:29Speaker 1: exactly what it means to put America first. Gavin Newsom
- 9:34Speaker 1: should be in hot water right now for his clearly
- 9:37Speaker 1: racist comments about African Americans having low IQ. But let's
- 9:42Speaker 1: be honest, the media is not talking about this and
- 9:46Speaker 1: it should be receiving far more attention than it is.
- 9:49Speaker 1: Because of this story involved a Republican governor instead of
- 9:53Speaker 1: Gavin Newsom, it would have a twenty four hour media
- 9:56Speaker 1: fire storm all over it, and more than likely that
- 10:00Speaker 1: Republican governor would have had to resign. Now reports indicate
- 10:05Speaker 1: that Governor Newsom is facing backlash, but not from the
- 10:08Speaker 1: media after telling a black mayor, I'm like you before
- 10:12Speaker 1: referencing low IQ in the conversation. Now, let's be very clear,
- 10:17Speaker 1: invoking IQ at a conversation involving an African American elected official,
- 10:22Speaker 1: a mayor, especially in a way that can be interpreted
- 10:25Speaker 1: as linking race and intelligence, is not just careless. It's
- 10:30Speaker 1: not just politically explosive. It should be condemned outright as
- 10:34Speaker 1: straight up racism now, because intelligence is not determined by race, period,
- 10:39Speaker 1: is what the media should have also said in this report,
- 10:43Speaker 1: but they're not talking about it. So when language like
- 10:46Speaker 1: that's used, even loosely, even jokingly, or even defensively, it
- 10:51Speaker 1: should matter, and it should matter to all American voters.
- 10:56Speaker 1: The bigger issue here is, yes, the double standard. This
- 11:00Speaker 1: is the part that makes me angry because if a
- 11:03Speaker 1: Republican governor used this language or even hinted at racial
- 11:08Speaker 1: stereotypes involving intelligence based on the color of your skin.
- 11:13Speaker 1: What would have happened. I know exactly what would have happened.
- 11:16Speaker 1: Number One, we would have had wall to wall cable
- 11:18Speaker 1: news coverage demanding more than just an apology, but then
- 11:22Speaker 1: demanding that other Republicans call for that governor to resign.
- 11:26Speaker 1: We have none of that right now on TV. Editorial
- 11:31Speaker 1: boards would have also jumped in demanding accountability, saying that
- 11:35Speaker 1: voters deserve more from their governor than this, and then
- 11:38Speaker 1: there would have been the national political outrage from nationally
- 11:42Speaker 1: elected figures or centers or congressmen far away from wherever
- 11:46Speaker 1: the outrage actually happened. In this situation, it actually did
- 11:50Speaker 1: happen in California. There would be zero tolerance as well
- 11:54Speaker 1: as zero hesitation to condemn a Republican if.
- 11:57Speaker 2: They did this.
- 11:59Speaker 1: But because it's the high profile Democratic front runner or
- 12:03Speaker 1: at least number two in line for the White House
- 12:06Speaker 1: on the Democratic Party, then apparently they're all willing to
- 12:09Speaker 1: cover for the racist words of Gavin Newsom. There's also
- 12:13Speaker 1: the lies of this story, which are even more incredible.
- 12:17Speaker 1: When Newsom is talking to a black audience, he says,
- 12:19Speaker 1: I'm dumb too, Yeah, just like you. But when Newsom
- 12:23Speaker 1: was talking to a white audience, I want you to
- 12:26Speaker 1: listen carefully to what he had to say to that audience.
- 12:31Speaker 2: You've written a hell of a book. And I don't
- 12:33Speaker 2: say that lightly.
- 12:34Speaker 5: I went through it in a quick hour and a half,
- 12:38Speaker 5: almost two hours, and trust me, I don't read very fast.
- 12:41Speaker 5: But it reads at an unbelievable pace. It's so well written,
- 12:46Speaker 5: and of course it's so familiar because I fell a
- 12:48Speaker 5: little bit adjacent so much of the subject matter. But
- 12:51Speaker 5: it's eighteen chapters. It's an impressive piece of work, two
- 12:56Speaker 5: hundred and sixty three or so pages.
- 12:58Speaker 2: Two So let's be quick.
- 13:00Speaker 1: What you just heard Gavin Newsom talking to white authors
- 13:03Speaker 1: about a white book and a white audience. He basically says,
- 13:07Speaker 1: you know, I read three hundred pages of your book
- 13:09Speaker 1: in like two hours.
- 13:11Speaker 2: Now.
- 13:12Speaker 1: He's either a liar or a race paider, or a
- 13:15Speaker 1: racist or all three of those things. Because when Gavin
- 13:19Speaker 1: Newsom goes and talks to a black crowd in Georgia,
- 13:23Speaker 1: this is what he says.
- 13:24Speaker 2: Instead.
- 13:26Speaker 4: I'm not you know, I'm not trying to impress you.
- 13:29Speaker 4: I'm just trying to impress upon you. I'm like you,
- 13:34Speaker 4: I'm no better than you.
- 13:36Speaker 2: You know, I'm a nine to.
- 13:37Speaker 4: Sixty SAT guy, and you know, and I'm not trying
- 13:43Speaker 4: to offend anyone, you know, trying to act all there.
- 13:45Speaker 4: If you got nine forty, but literally a nine to
- 13:50Speaker 4: sixty SAT guy, I cannot You you've never seen me
- 13:54Speaker 4: read a speech. Because I cannot read a speech, maybe
- 14:01Speaker 4: the wrong business to be.
- 14:04Speaker 1: I'm like you to a black audience. I'm a nine
- 14:08Speaker 1: to sixty SAT guy. I can't read. So which one
- 14:13Speaker 1: is it?
- 14:14Speaker 2: Is it?
- 14:14Speaker 1: Are you the guy that can read a three hundred
- 14:17Speaker 1: page book in a couple hours? Are you the guy
- 14:21Speaker 1: that's stupid? Just like you? Of course, only referencing black
- 14:25Speaker 1: people in the audience. This is why it matters. We
- 14:30Speaker 1: live in a political culture where leaders are constantly telling
- 14:33Speaker 1: the country that language matters. Right, Gavin Newsom's one of those.
- 14:37Speaker 1: We're told that rhetoric matters. How do we know that?
- 14:40Speaker 1: Gavin Newsom has said it. Gavin Newsom has also said
- 14:43Speaker 1: that tone matters and the implication of the words you
- 14:48Speaker 1: use matter. Well, they're right, it does. So if that
- 14:52Speaker 1: standard applies to everyone else, why doesn't apply to Gavin
- 14:56Speaker 1: Newsom as well. Historically, by the way, linking Ray and
- 15:00Speaker 1: IQ has been part of a deeply offensive and discredit argument. Yes,
- 15:06Speaker 1: history makes comments like this, and we expose them, especially
- 15:10Speaker 1: sensitive and especially inappropriate comments to remind Americans of what
- 15:14Speaker 1: racism actually is. And any elected official, whether it's Republican
- 15:19Speaker 1: or Democrat, they should know better, especially in twenty twenty six.
- 15:23Speaker 1: And to be clear, this is not cancel culture that
- 15:26Speaker 1: I'm advocating for. This is an elected official looking at
- 15:30Speaker 1: a black audience saying I'm like you, I can't read,
- 15:34Speaker 1: I'm dumb, I'm a nine to sixty sat guy. Governor
- 15:39Speaker 1: Gavin Newsom. Why is he not being held accountable because
- 15:42Speaker 1: he is seen as being the guy that could be
- 15:46Speaker 1: the Democrat's next president. He's trying to present himself as polished,
- 15:51Speaker 1: media savvy for looking Democrat for the future. And that's
- 15:57Speaker 1: why this story should be so damaging, because if you've
- 16:00Speaker 1: got a rich white guy telling black people he's stupid
- 16:03Speaker 1: like them, shouldn't that disqualify him from being the president
- 16:06Speaker 1: of the United States of America. Now, Democrats are falling
- 16:11Speaker 1: all over themselves to protect Gavin Newsom, and the key
- 16:15Speaker 1: simple question I have is this? When is there going
- 16:18Speaker 1: to be accountability when someone on the left says something
- 16:21Speaker 1: as racist as this? When is there going to be
- 16:24Speaker 1: a clear explanation from Gavin Neussom about what he actually meant.
- 16:28Speaker 1: Is there going to be a clear apology from Gavin
- 16:31Speaker 1: Ussom to the black community for implying that they're dumb
- 16:34Speaker 1: or that they can only get a nine to sixty
- 16:36Speaker 1: on their sat Is there going to be a clear
- 16:39Speaker 1: acknowledgement that the phrasing was at least at the bare
- 16:42Speaker 1: minimum inappropriate. And the sad part is, especially minority voters
- 16:47Speaker 1: deserve clarity on this issue. So where is the media?
- 16:51Speaker 1: Why aren't they doing their job? The bottom line on
- 16:55Speaker 1: this is well pretty simple. If it's a Democrat, the
- 16:59Speaker 1: media will protect them at all costs. There is no consistency.
- 17:04Speaker 1: Are we going to be able to hold public officials
- 17:06Speaker 1: accountable for racially charged rhetoric? Then we If we're gonna
- 17:11Speaker 1: do that, we got to hold them all accountable, including
- 17:14Speaker 1: the front runner of the Democratic Party. I believe that
- 17:18Speaker 1: no party should get a pass when you say something
- 17:20Speaker 1: like this. No governor should get a pass if you
- 17:22Speaker 1: say something like this, and certainly no future presidential hopeful
- 17:28Speaker 1: should get a pass if saying something this racist on
- 17:32Speaker 1: stage in front of a black audience. America, I want
- 17:36Speaker 1: to believe is moved beyond the ugly history of tying
- 17:39Speaker 1: intellect to the color of someone's skin. That kind of
- 17:43Speaker 1: thinking has no place in this country and certainly no
- 17:46Speaker 1: place in modern politics for anyone. And if leaders want
- 17:50Speaker 1: to lecture the country about sensitivity and standards, they better
- 17:55Speaker 1: live by those same standard themselves. That's not partisan, that's
- 17:59Speaker 1: just straight up principle. This is exactly why I think
- 18:04Speaker 1: the President of the United States of America, Donald Trump,
- 18:06Speaker 1: should probably mention this also in the State of the
- 18:09Speaker 1: Union tonight. For the next sixty seconds, can you hit
- 18:13Speaker 1: pause on your life and just think about this. Every day,
- 18:17Speaker 1: millions of children face a crushing reality, a constant defeating
- 18:21Speaker 1: message echoes and their empty stomachs and their desperate eyes.
- 18:25Speaker 1: It is that you don't matter. Poverty doesn't just steal
- 18:28Speaker 1: food and shelter, It steals hope, dignity, and the fundamental
- 18:32Speaker 1: belief that they are loved. But there's another message, one
- 18:35Speaker 1: of boundless love and hope. Through Compassion International, you can
- 18:39Speaker 1: change the child's story forever. You can sponsor child just
- 18:43Speaker 1: like I do. You can introduce them to a loving
- 18:45Speaker 1: heavenly father. You can equip them with education, healthcare, and
- 18:49Speaker 1: the support to overcome poverty. This isn't just about one child.
- 18:54Speaker 1: It's about transforming families, revitalizing communities, and changing nations. It's
- 18:59Speaker 1: about proof that every child truly matters. So help give
- 19:03Speaker 1: a child a future, give them hope. Visit compassion dot
- 19:07Speaker 1: com today. That's compassion dot com accountability. It is what
- 19:13Speaker 1: Donald Trump promised all Americans for those that have been
- 19:16Speaker 1: breaking the law. Waste, fraud and abuse were a part
- 19:20Speaker 1: of the doctrine. We were going to get rid of
- 19:22Speaker 1: it and figure out exactly who was involved in it. Well,
- 19:25Speaker 1: then we had what happened in Minnesota, a massive explosion
- 19:30Speaker 1: of an expose on the fraud that is costing taxpayers
- 19:34Speaker 1: billions of dollars. We also found out much of that
- 19:38Speaker 1: money was actually going to terrorist groups like al Shabab.
- 19:41Speaker 1: And then there's those that were behind it or actually
- 19:45Speaker 1: protecting the fraudsters. Josh Holly and many in the Senate.
- 19:50Speaker 1: They got a chance to talk to Minnesota's Attorney General,
- 19:54Speaker 1: Keith Ellison, over his ties to many of those Somali fraudsters.
- 20:00Speaker 1: How to be clear, the attorney general is the one
- 20:02Speaker 1: that's supposed to be going after the criminal's not hanging
- 20:05Speaker 1: out with them, doing deals with them, or looking the
- 20:07Speaker 1: other way. And now Senator Holly is calling for the
- 20:11Speaker 1: indictment of the Minnesota Attorney General, Keith Ellison, over accusations
- 20:16Speaker 1: that he accepted campaign contributions from the Somali fraudsters for
- 20:22Speaker 1: helping them evade investigation by state and federal officials. During
- 20:30Speaker 1: the Senate Homeland Security hearing on Thursday, Holly grilled Ellison
- 20:34Speaker 1: about a report from The New York Post published last
- 20:38Speaker 1: year that is now accused the top Minnesota official of
- 20:42Speaker 1: taking campaign contributions from Somali's involved in defeeding our future
- 20:49Speaker 1: fraud scandal. That scandal is where some nine billion dollars
- 20:54Speaker 1: in taxpayer money was stolen under the guise of feeding
- 21:00Speaker 1: needy children. That's right, They weren't doing it at all.
- 21:04Speaker 1: According to report, Ellison accepted several two thousand, five hundred
- 21:10Speaker 1: dollars campaign donations from Somali fraudsters after they raised concerns
- 21:16Speaker 1: that federal investigators were unjustly looking at their financials. I
- 21:22Speaker 1: want you to listen to part one of Center Holly
- 21:25Speaker 1: questioning and laying out the facts with the receipts of
- 21:30Speaker 1: exactly what Ellison was doing.
- 21:32Speaker 2: Try another question.
- 21:33Speaker 6: Are you familiar with the nine billion dollars in historic
- 21:36Speaker 6: fraud out of your state, including the two hundred and
- 21:38Speaker 6: fifty million dollars in the Feeding Our Future program? Alone
- 21:42Speaker 6: you familiar with that, don't turn to the pages in
- 21:43Speaker 6: your book to get your potted answers.
- 21:45Speaker 2: Are you familiar with it? Yes or no? Yes, I
- 21:47Speaker 2: am familiar with very familiar, aren't you.
- 21:49Speaker 6: Because the people who ran the Feeding Our Futures program
- 21:52Speaker 6: came to you in your official office in the state
- 21:55Speaker 6: capitol of December eleventh to twenty twenty one and asked
- 21:58Speaker 6: for your help in getting investigators off their backs. They
- 22:02Speaker 6: complained to you for upwards of an hour about state
- 22:06Speaker 6: investigators going after them, and they begged you to help them,
- 22:10Speaker 6: and you agreed to it amazingly, And we know you did.
- 22:13Speaker 6: That's because it's all caught on tape. Every single sentence
- 22:17Speaker 6: is caught on tape.
- 22:17Speaker 2: Here's what you said. Let's take it on.
- 22:19Speaker 6: You said this sat a question. You said to them,
- 22:22Speaker 6: send me the names of all these folks who are
- 22:26Speaker 6: investigating them. You said, to them, send me their names
- 22:29Speaker 6: and I'll take that list and I'll call the person
- 22:31Speaker 6: over at Education who was investigating them and say, what's
- 22:34Speaker 6: going on? Why am I getting these complaints? Then he
- 22:37Speaker 6: went on to say, I already have my team working
- 22:40Speaker 6: on this. What day should we get together to discuss
- 22:44Speaker 6: it again? You made pledge after pledge to them. You said,
- 22:48Speaker 6: we've got to make sure this guy who's investigating them
- 22:51Speaker 6: stops it. You said, you have my attention. I'm concerned
- 22:54Speaker 6: about this. You said, let's go fight these people, meaning
- 22:58Speaker 6: the people who are investigatingading the fraud.
- 23:01Speaker 2: Why'd you do it? Why did you help them? Are
- 23:03Speaker 2: you gonna let me answer? Please? We're all here, so
- 23:06Speaker 2: first of all, you're cherry pickings out of there. Why
- 23:09Speaker 2: did you help me? I thought you were going to
- 23:10Speaker 2: let me answer. Why did you let me answer? Why
- 23:13Speaker 2: did you help? You? Let me answer? And I'll answer.
- 23:14Speaker 2: You tell the truth, and I'll let you answer. I
- 23:16Speaker 2: will tell the truth. It'd be a nice change so
- 23:19Speaker 2: that now, see.
- 23:20Speaker 3: Mister chairman, I didn't come here to be insulted.
- 23:22Speaker 2: I came here value you came here for the truth.
- 23:24Speaker 2: Let's have it. Why did you help here. They're in
- 23:27Speaker 2: black and white and everything. This audience and their chair.
- 23:30Speaker 2: Listen to the recording. It's fifty four minutes long.
- 23:33Speaker 6: It's all in public that you can google it right
- 23:36Speaker 6: now and listen to it and listen to to help them.
- 23:38Speaker 2: First of all, I didn't help them, you did. He No,
- 23:40Speaker 2: I did not. I certainly didn't.
- 23:42Speaker 6: You're saying you didn't do anything for them. You didn't,
- 23:45Speaker 6: you didn't. Well, wait a minute, I already have my
- 23:47Speaker 6: team working on this again.
- 23:48Speaker 2: That's not you I have. I've been with my team.
- 23:51Speaker 3: My team assisted with the information that led to the
- 23:55Speaker 3: prosecution and conviction.
- 23:57Speaker 2: Of these finger to prosecute them. No, you did because.
- 24:02Speaker 6: You had albs, you had whistleblowers.
- 24:07Speaker 2: Listen, it's my time. Doesn't know what you're talking about, you, sir,
- 24:10Speaker 2: You now encountered why did you take your money?
- 24:14Speaker 1: You notice there Holly really honing in on following the money.
- 24:19Speaker 3: Now.
- 24:20Speaker 1: Of course, Ellison denied helping the fraudsters, to which Holly
- 24:23Speaker 1: made it very clear, saying to Ellison to his face,
- 24:26Speaker 1: you accepted ten thousand from them nine days after the meeting.
- 24:31Speaker 1: You help the fraudsters of fraud your state and this
- 24:34Speaker 1: government of nine billion dollars and you got a fat
- 24:38Speaker 1: campaign contribution out of it. You ought to be indicted. No,
- 24:44Speaker 1: this is all on the record, Sir, Holly continued, Did
- 24:48Speaker 1: you bother to investigate Weather the money that you facilitated
- 24:52Speaker 1: their fraud for where it went? Question Mark? Do you
- 24:55Speaker 1: know where it went? What it was used for? The
- 24:58Speaker 1: fraudulent money. I do, because we just heard testimony about
- 25:02Speaker 1: it yesterday. Hundreds of millions of dollars to terrorist groups,
- 25:06Speaker 1: to transnational criminal organizations, to the drug trade, to drug trafficking,
- 25:13Speaker 1: to child trafficking, and you took ten thousand dollars and
- 25:18Speaker 1: help them do it. Holly also told Ellison that not
- 25:22Speaker 1: only should he resign from office, which I'm sure Ellison
- 25:26Speaker 1: will not do, but he reminded him that as of
- 25:29Speaker 1: last December, eighty five people have been charged in the
- 25:33Speaker 1: Feeding Our Future fraud scandal, nearly all of whom are
- 25:36Speaker 1: Somali descent. The investigation has led to sixty convictions thus far.
- 25:42Speaker 1: So how does the Attorney General look the other way
- 25:45Speaker 1: and act like it never happened. Well, it's pretty easy
- 25:48Speaker 1: when the people that are committing the fraud are giving
- 25:51Speaker 1: you campaign contributions. And this is exactly why. The President
- 25:55Speaker 1: of the United States of America, Donald Trump, said multiple
- 25:59Speaker 1: time in the last week that the resources of the
- 26:03Speaker 1: federal government are all in to go after anyone is
- 26:07Speaker 1: involved in defrauding the American taxpayer and sending that money
- 26:11Speaker 1: to terrorists. I got to ask you a question, can
- 26:15Speaker 1: you buy roe bitcoin in your retirement account? Well, if not,
- 26:19Speaker 1: it's time to upgrade to Bitcoin IRA. It's twenty twenty

- 26:27Speaker 1: and diversifying. You can buy and sell bitcoin inside a

- 27:28Speaker 1: The Democratic, party the de facto face of The Democratic,
- 27:31Speaker 1: party the same guy that was in charge of the
- 27:33Speaker 1: government shut down to try to save his, job to
- 27:36Speaker 1: show the extreme wing of his. Party, HEY i really
- 27:38Speaker 1: am an. Extremist showing it yet. Again he is now
- 27:42Speaker 1: calling The Save. Act what is A Save? Act it's very.
- 27:46Speaker 1: Simple it requires AN id to vote in federal. Elections
- 27:51Speaker 1: he is now saying it Is Jim crow two point.
- 27:55Speaker 1: Zero he went ON ms now in The Senate Minority
- 27:59Speaker 1: lead said that The Safeguard American Voter Eligibility act is
- 28:05Speaker 1: two point. Zero Jim. Crow the co, said, So Leader,
- 28:08Speaker 1: schumer this talk about election security has revived discussions of
- 28:13Speaker 1: The Saved, act which you have said you. Oppose proponents
- 28:16Speaker 1: of it say that it's you, know to HAVE, id
- 28:19Speaker 1: you have to prove us citizenship to be able to.
- 28:21Speaker 1: Vote some of the claims they, make to be clear.
- 28:24Speaker 1: Overstated we know there's not widespread election, fraud but polling
- 28:28Speaker 1: does suggest there is a New Pew research poll that
- 28:32Speaker 1: ninety five percent Of republicans seventy one percent Of democrats
- 28:37Speaker 1: like the. Idea, well you know, what let me just
- 28:40Speaker 1: let you hear a little more of this, conversation AND
- 28:43Speaker 1: i want you to hear how and when you're listening to,
- 28:47Speaker 1: THIS i want you to think about one, thing how
- 28:50Speaker 1: racist is it to imply that people that are black Or,
- 28:56Speaker 1: hispanic or of any minority live in a world where
- 29:02Speaker 1: showing AN id is some sort of ridiculous. IDEA i
- 29:09Speaker 1: want you to think about how racism it is to,
- 29:11Speaker 1: imply in twenty twenty six that, minorities, right not not white,
- 29:15Speaker 1: people just, minorities you could not expect them to actually
- 29:19Speaker 1: have AN? Id can? You can you really just think
- 29:23Speaker 1: about WHAT i? Said think about WHAT i just. Said
- 29:28Speaker 1: they are now in twenty twenty six saying, no, no, no
- 29:32Speaker 1: you can't expect a black person or A hispanic person.
- 29:37Speaker 2: To have AN.
- 29:38Speaker 1: Id that's A Democratic party's. Line that is literally the
- 29:44Speaker 1: definition of racism one oh. One it doesn't get any
- 29:48Speaker 1: more racist than.
- 29:50Speaker 2: That that is.
- 29:51Speaker 1: Racism and then they, say, well It's Jim crow to
- 29:56Speaker 1: ask or expect a minority person to Have, now, again
- 30:01Speaker 1: if You're African, AMERICAN i would be incredibly offended by
- 30:05Speaker 1: this that they are saying that you're so, backwoods that
- 30:08Speaker 1: you're so beneath the rest of society that we could
- 30:12Speaker 1: not expect, you as a black person or A hispanic
- 30:16Speaker 1: person to live in a world where AN id is
- 30:20Speaker 1: actually part of like functioning as an. Adult what's also
- 30:25Speaker 1: interesting about the hypocrisy here is point number two BEFORE
- 30:28Speaker 1: i Played, chuck and that's This and this part actually
- 30:34Speaker 1: makes me even more. Angry you know What democrats are
- 30:37Speaker 1: always obsessed. With they are always obsessed with gun. Control
- 30:42Speaker 1: we've talked about that a lot on this. Show and
- 30:45Speaker 1: what A democrats. Say they want to get rid of every, loophole,
- 30:49Speaker 1: right that's their. OBSESSION i, mean how many times have
- 30:52Speaker 1: they said over and over again that they're true and.
- 30:55Speaker 1: Genuine as obsession is background, Checks universal background. Checks we
- 31:00Speaker 1: must have background, checks background, CHECKS i, mean over and over. Again,
- 31:04Speaker 1: well how do you get a background? Check how do
- 31:07Speaker 1: you get a background? Check you have to show AN.
- 31:12Speaker 1: Id democrats are in. Favor let's be very. Clear democrats
- 31:20Speaker 1: are in favor of AN id when buying a, firearm
- 31:25Speaker 1: but they're not in favor of you showing AN id
- 31:28Speaker 1: when you vote in an. Election so you need to
- 31:31Speaker 1: ask yourself this, question why why would democrats not want
- 31:37Speaker 1: you to show AN id when you're. Voting the only
- 31:41Speaker 1: answer THAT i can come up with is because they
- 31:43Speaker 1: want there to be the ability to cheat in that.
- 31:47Speaker 1: Election you want to know what else is also? Interesting
- 31:50Speaker 1: just a point for you to think about for just a.
- 31:52Speaker 1: Second here in the states That Kamala harris, won do
- 32:00Speaker 1: you know one of the things they overwhelmingly had in
- 32:03Speaker 1: common the states that she won no VOTER id. Law
- 32:08Speaker 1: you don't have to have AN id to. Vote let
- 32:11Speaker 1: me Just i'm gonna say that. Again go look at
- 32:13Speaker 1: the electoral map and look at the states Where Kamala harris,
- 32:19Speaker 1: won and then look at them up and see if
- 32:23Speaker 1: they require AN id to. Vote go look at that.
- 32:28Speaker 1: Data you want to know Why democrats don't want VOTER
- 32:31Speaker 1: id because the only states that they win consistently are
- 32:34Speaker 1: places where you don't have to show AN. Id that's
- 32:38Speaker 1: the reality of this, situation and that's the reason why
- 32:42Speaker 1: the majority Of americans are in favor of having to
- 32:46Speaker 1: show AN id to, vote because you don't want your
- 32:48Speaker 1: vote being canceled out by somebody. Else CNN's own polling
- 32:54Speaker 1: is showing. This in, fact this is a non political.
- 32:58Speaker 1: Issue SO i go back To, Chuck Chuck, schumer why
- 33:02Speaker 1: are you so against counting only votes of people that
- 33:06Speaker 1: are that are who they say they are an. Election
- 33:08Speaker 1: i'll go back To Chuck schumer and ask another, Question,
- 33:10Speaker 1: chuck do you believe to buy a gun you shot
- 33:12Speaker 1: up to show AN. Id, yes of COURSE i. Do
- 33:14Speaker 1: then why the hell wouldn't you show AN id to?
- 33:16Speaker 1: Vote that's why so Many americans, say, Yeah i'm in
- 33:20Speaker 1: favor of having to show MY id to do. Everything
- 33:23Speaker 1: you show AN id to get government, Aid you show
- 33:25Speaker 1: AN id to get an, Airplane you show AN id
- 33:28Speaker 1: to go into many government. Buildings you show an idea of,
- 33:30Speaker 1: HELL i had to go to The Democratic convention to cover.
- 33:33Speaker 1: It once you ready for, THIS i had to show
- 33:36Speaker 1: AN id to go to The Democratic National. Convention don't
- 33:40Speaker 1: Forget share this podcast wherever you can with your family
- 33:42Speaker 1: and your, friends And i'll see you back here tomorrow
