- 0:53Speaker 1: Honey said, you got to turn. Yeah, you want to close.
- 1:17Speaker 1: You gotta turns to turn the time you love. You
- 1:43Speaker 1: got to turn out to turn the water the water go, comey,
- 1:58Speaker 1: come on your back. Uh huh, I shure, will excuse me.
- 2:05Speaker 1: Good morning everybody you are listening to the voice, Come
- 2:09Speaker 1: on dig me now, one and only Steve Harvey got
- 2:13Speaker 1: a radio show. Yeah do man? How good has God
- 2:17Speaker 1: been to me? You know today I was thinking of
- 2:20Speaker 1: what I would say today and it and it just
- 2:23Speaker 1: dawned on me this way, and I just want to
- 2:24Speaker 1: share this with everybody listening. Uh. You've got to get
- 2:30Speaker 1: some help to make it through life. I cannot imagine
- 2:36Speaker 1: where I would be if I if it was not
- 2:40Speaker 1: for the help of my God, if it wasn't for
- 2:43Speaker 1: his grace and mercy, if I did not have the
- 2:46Speaker 1: ability to lean on him, and all the times I've
- 2:51Speaker 1: had to lean on him, which has become a daily basis.
- 2:56Speaker 1: I have no idea where I would be, but clearly
- 2:59Speaker 1: I know or a matter of fact, I would not
- 3:02Speaker 1: be here today. You have got to get some help
- 3:05Speaker 1: to get through this thing called life. I am telling you,
- 3:09Speaker 1: I am begging you to look into it. Man, you've
- 3:12Speaker 1: got to form a relationship with God. Without a relationship
- 3:16Speaker 1: with God, this thing called life is daunting at times.
- 3:19Speaker 1: I don't care who you are. I don't care who
- 3:21Speaker 1: you are. I know I'm speaking the truth right now,
- 3:24Speaker 1: because listen, no matter who you are, what color you are,
- 3:30Speaker 1: what job tighter you have, what aspirations you may have,
- 3:34Speaker 1: I don't care what your educational background is or is not.
- 3:38Speaker 1: It does not matter if you don't get some help,
- 3:41Speaker 1: if you don't get a real relationship going on with God,
- 3:45Speaker 1: I don't see how you can make it. I just
- 3:46Speaker 1: do not see how you can make it. So many
- 3:49Speaker 1: people are faking in fronting out here like they got
- 3:52Speaker 1: it going on, and you don't know, and you really
- 3:56Speaker 1: don't know how many people that you think in your
- 3:58Speaker 1: neighborhood had it going on. Because you saw a car
- 4:00Speaker 1: pull up in the driveway, or the house look bigger,
- 4:03Speaker 1: or grass is cutting nicer, and you only find out
- 4:07Speaker 1: that a foreclosed your side on their house too. See,
- 4:10Speaker 1: you don't know the mask that people put on to
- 4:13Speaker 1: parade around in is for appearance sakes. You know, you
- 4:17Speaker 1: don't know what that is. So a lot of people
- 4:19Speaker 1: you looking at that you think got it going on?
- 4:22Speaker 1: Who might be the pattern of success that you want
- 4:24Speaker 1: a trace? Who might have what you think is going on.
- 4:28Speaker 1: You got to be real careful with that because it
- 4:30Speaker 1: may not be as it appears to be. But one
- 4:33Speaker 1: thing is for sure, no matter what's going on in
- 4:36Speaker 1: your life, no matter what, I know that behind whatever
- 4:42Speaker 1: mask I'm wearing or I realized, or no matter what
- 4:46Speaker 1: the appearances, maybe that on the other side of me,
- 4:50Speaker 1: I'm gonna be just fine. See. You may be outwardly
- 4:54Speaker 1: people hating on you, talking about you, dragging your name
- 4:58Speaker 1: through the mud. Look, man, people can say stuff about you.
- 5:01Speaker 1: Most people talking about you don't even know you. They're
- 5:04Speaker 1: just participating in it. You can have that appearance going on,
- 5:08Speaker 1: but behind you, within you, if you have a relationship
- 5:12Speaker 1: with God, it don't matter because you can be all right.
- 5:16Speaker 1: I'm telling you I've seen it get real stormy on
- 5:19Speaker 1: the outside for me, but on the inside, I just
- 5:21Speaker 1: had to feel and I was gonna be all right. See.
- 5:24Speaker 1: That's what the relationship gives you, man. It gives you
- 5:27Speaker 1: the confidence to note that the things that you're going
- 5:30Speaker 1: through are temporary. That is just the space that you
- 5:34Speaker 1: happen to be in. Like I said the other day,
- 5:36Speaker 1: you gotta remember something. The road to success is always
- 5:40Speaker 1: under construction. You might as well get ready for that.
- 5:44Speaker 1: If you're planning on changing, getting better, doing something about
- 5:48Speaker 1: your health, doing something about to wait your unwanted pounds.
- 5:51Speaker 1: Maybe you want to want to get off some of
- 5:53Speaker 1: that diabetes medicine, you want to lower your cholesterol. I
- 5:57Speaker 1: don't care what you wanna do. If you decide, look,
- 6:00Speaker 1: I just would like to live a longer, more prosperous life.
- 6:03Speaker 1: Or hey, I want to make X amount of dollars,
- 6:05Speaker 1: or hey man, I'm gonna stop staying out in these
- 6:08Speaker 1: streets and I'm gonna come home and treat my family
- 6:10Speaker 1: where they ought to be treated. I don't care what
- 6:12Speaker 1: decision you make when you strike out on that road
- 6:15Speaker 1: to success, it's under construction. Partner, there's barrels out there,
- 6:19Speaker 1: there's wide turns, there's detools there, there's if you go
- 6:24Speaker 1: through this barrel, there's a crate on the other side.
- 6:27Speaker 1: You know it's it's it's me and out there holding
- 6:29Speaker 1: signs saying slow down. Sometimes they put the stop sign up.
- 6:33Speaker 1: You gotta wait and watch people go buy you on
- 6:35Speaker 1: the other side. Then before you can take off again.
- 6:39Speaker 1: You've all been on the road with construction on it.
- 6:42Speaker 1: It can be so frustrated and the whole time you
- 6:45Speaker 1: on that road. I know, when I'm on the road
- 6:47Speaker 1: with under construction, I'm always thinking of an alternative path.
- 6:52Speaker 1: I ain't ever set in traffic under construction, man, and
- 6:57Speaker 1: thought of if I get off on this exit there
- 7:00Speaker 1: would it take me? Not knowing, but just man, could
- 7:02Speaker 1: I keep moving if I go that way? That's a
- 7:05Speaker 1: dangerous thing sometimes, See, that's a dangerous thing because oftentimes
- 7:10Speaker 1: when we get off the road of success and we
- 7:12Speaker 1: take that other path, we get further and further off
- 7:16Speaker 1: course because we're nod to als sign for that Just
- 7:18Speaker 1: a decision I made on my own because I don't
- 7:21Speaker 1: like sitting here. Sometimes I don't have the patience I
- 7:23Speaker 1: ought to have, So I've taken some what I thought
- 7:26Speaker 1: might be shortcuts, But I gotta tell you something, ain't
- 7:29Speaker 1: no shortcuts on the road to success. Even the d
- 7:32Speaker 1: tool signs wind up taking you a little bit out
- 7:34Speaker 1: your way. And look background. I remember one time I
- 7:37Speaker 1: was coming from Las Vegas and that was some type
- 7:40Speaker 1: of chemical spill in the truck and you could almost
- 7:47Speaker 1: see the smoke up ahead and very faint. So they
- 7:50Speaker 1: detoward us through the desert and we had to go
- 7:53Speaker 1: all the way around, and I drove, man like an
- 7:56Speaker 1: hour and a half out of the way. And when
- 7:58Speaker 1: when they entered us back on the freeway where we
- 8:01Speaker 1: were to go back to l A. As soon as
- 8:04Speaker 1: I got at that exit to get back on the freeway,
- 8:07Speaker 1: I looked right there and there the accident was. Now
- 8:12Speaker 1: it was an hour and a half hour forty five
- 8:15Speaker 1: all the way around in that desert to get back
- 8:18Speaker 1: to almost the same place. But it was the best
- 8:22Speaker 1: way to go, because see, that was the route to take.
- 8:25Speaker 1: And that's what you gotta understand about trying to make
- 8:28Speaker 1: the right decision to be successful. That the road to
- 8:31Speaker 1: the road to success is always under construction. You're gonna
- 8:35Speaker 1: have to go around a little bit. So of course,
- 8:38Speaker 1: stop being impatient with I don't want to go around,
- 8:40Speaker 1: gonna go this way? You go that way if you
- 8:41Speaker 1: want to just follow the d to a signe see,
- 8:44Speaker 1: because somebody that came up this road before you have
- 8:48Speaker 1: see somebody then travel the road already and they took
- 8:52Speaker 1: the way around, and yeah, it seemed like it's a
- 8:54Speaker 1: longer way, and you want to make that other decision.
- 8:57Speaker 1: But stay on the road to success. It's under construction, man,
- 9:01Speaker 1: That's just the way it goes. Don't lose your patients
- 9:04Speaker 1: and try to create a shortcut for yourself. I'm gonna
- 9:06Speaker 1: go away. Ain't nobody ever gone way? Hold up, partner,
- 9:09Speaker 1: you really, thank you gonna do that? You know, Listen,
- 9:13Speaker 1: there's oftentimes a lot of rewards when you go the
- 9:16Speaker 1: least travel path. But the road to success is the
- 9:20Speaker 1: least travel path. That's what you keep getting mixed up.
- 9:23Speaker 1: You keep thinking if you go another way. No, no,
- 9:25Speaker 1: stay on the road to success. That is the least
- 9:28Speaker 1: travel path. It's under construction. You can go out there
- 9:33Speaker 1: with you with your machete. If you want to talk
- 9:34Speaker 1: about cutting new trails. You think the road to success
- 9:39Speaker 1: is under construction, Take the other route and get that
- 9:43Speaker 1: machete out and see how long you be out there
- 9:45Speaker 1: trying to cut a path. Sometimes, Man, you just got
- 9:49Speaker 1: to stay patient. The road to success has been traveled
- 9:52Speaker 1: before by millions of people in front of you, everybody
- 9:56Speaker 1: that has some setbacks in life. But don't get off
- 9:58Speaker 1: the road to success. It's cause you're having some setbacks
- 10:01Speaker 1: just because you see some orange barrels up, just cause
- 10:04Speaker 1: there's some men out there with vest on. What that
- 10:06Speaker 1: got to do with you? Everybody, everybody that's trying to
- 10:10Speaker 1: be successful, is on that road. Your relationship with God
- 10:14Speaker 1: helps you, helps you guide yourself around the barrels. It
- 10:19Speaker 1: helps you have the patience to go around that away.
- 10:23Speaker 1: He gonna get you back where you gotta be. But
- 10:25Speaker 1: you got to go out there so you can learn something. See,
- 10:28Speaker 1: it's not only see you need God to make it
- 10:32Speaker 1: in life, because the road to success is always under construction.
- 10:38Speaker 1: He calms you down when the barrels is up. He
- 10:41Speaker 1: lets you know it's gonna be all right. He or
- 10:44Speaker 1: he hell, he rewards you with the patients to finish
- 10:47Speaker 1: because he's gonna get you right back where you need
- 10:49Speaker 1: to be and you can get on which way you
- 10:51Speaker 1: was going Okay, all right, y'all, we're gonna try that today.
- 10:55Speaker 1: I'll be back on be Ignorant. You're listening, ladies and gentlemen,
- 11:02Speaker 1: girls and boys, gentlemen and ladies, vose wagons and the
- 11:10Speaker 1: crown Man. Have your undivided attention, please, today's show it's
- 11:17Speaker 1: going to be one where I am committed to making
- 11:22Speaker 1: several verbal errors intentionally. Yeah, I'm just gonna bring it,
- 11:31Speaker 1: and y'all deal with it. Welcome to dishelp Morning show,
- 11:36Speaker 1: Good morning. You wouldn't hear yesterday. I so now we
- 11:43Speaker 1: know the monitor hall monitors, back your past pass. Stop
- 11:51Speaker 1: running in the How do you have a harpa? You know?
- 11:54Speaker 1: Bet here? Well, I ain't got no hard and I
- 12:00Speaker 1: had stole one first of all, Good morning, Calling Morning crew.
- 12:04Speaker 1: Sorry about that, Junior, Jake and Tommy. I stole out
- 12:12Speaker 1: the administrative office one time. A stack of hall passes.
- 12:17Speaker 1: Oh boy, I had a nice fish. I had a
- 12:24Speaker 1: you were making money off hall pass? Yeah, sold him
- 12:26Speaker 1: out my luck. But then you were hiding what you
- 12:29Speaker 1: mean hall pass? Free ship got to give you a
- 12:34Speaker 1: hall pass for you to be out in the hallway
- 12:36Speaker 1: wandering around. Now, if you just want to wander around
- 12:39Speaker 1: for your hall pay teachers. That teacher don't let you
- 12:43Speaker 1: walk out in the hall, so they paid. So you
- 12:45Speaker 1: made people pay you to get a pass. Yeah, a
- 12:48Speaker 1: dollar or sell dollar for a sandy, a sandwich or
- 12:54Speaker 1: like you was going down the dippers, you had to
- 12:56Speaker 1: bring me a corn dog or some wayne. So I
- 13:00Speaker 1: just hustle. No one knew that you were doing this.
- 13:03Speaker 1: The teacher let me ask up. Who's gonna tell it?
- 13:09Speaker 1: But you can do after you get busted with the
- 13:11Speaker 1: hall pass is tell them you bought it from me.
- 13:14Speaker 1: Now your asks really in trouble with when you were
- 13:18Speaker 1: hustling hallpa. I was in high school, wow, sixteen seventeen,
- 13:24Speaker 1: it was not. I had a whole stack them because
- 13:26Speaker 1: you just tore him off at the top. I had
- 13:28Speaker 1: a whole stack of would you sign them? No? Here, No,
- 13:32Speaker 1: I came right. I'm just getting the hall pass. You
- 13:36Speaker 1: you're gonna put wherever you need on that. I don't
- 13:39Speaker 1: know your teaching class, I don't know your teacher. Everybody
- 13:44Speaker 1: had him. No, no one thought that was unusual that
- 13:49Speaker 1: all these students had hall passes. I ain't tell them.
- 13:52Speaker 1: Just anybody. You had to be you know of a
- 13:54Speaker 1: certain element you know. I had to know that you had,
- 13:58Speaker 1: you know, like a background that can hand don't keep
- 14:01Speaker 1: right right. This is a type of background where if
- 14:06Speaker 1: I know you got busted, you just took it, You're
- 14:09Speaker 1: gonna put my name in it? Yeah, you could. You
- 14:11Speaker 1: could know. I didn't never cut dog. I cut class
- 14:14Speaker 1: my whole time I was in school. I cut calash
- 14:16Speaker 1: twice the whole time I was in I would school man.
- 14:19Speaker 1: But the stuff that you I didn't know nothing. I
- 14:21Speaker 1: went what I had, perfect attendents, all kinds of stuff.
- 14:28Speaker 1: All right, at least get perfect attendance. I'm not going
- 14:31Speaker 1: to be on the honor roll or nothing like that.
- 14:33Speaker 1: Coming up, we're gonna talk about stolen office lunches more
- 14:38Speaker 1: common than you think. We'll be back at thirty two
- 14:41Speaker 1: after you're listening to Steve Show. All right, it is
- 14:45Speaker 1: time for something funny, guys. And you know people are
- 14:48Speaker 1: getting ready for work right now, probably and uh maybe
- 14:51Speaker 1: they're making their own lunch. You know people do that
- 14:53Speaker 1: at home. Well, Steve, it turns out that eighteen percent
- 14:56Speaker 1: of people have admitted to eating someone else's lunch at
- 15:00Speaker 1: the office. One workers live tweeting of the mystery of
- 15:03Speaker 1: a co worker stolen shrimp fried rice was retweeted over
- 15:07Speaker 1: a hundred and seventy three thousand times. Okay, uh and
- 15:12Speaker 1: and while you may think it's funny, and it is
- 15:16Speaker 1: kind of funny, I mean when you think about it, um,
- 15:19Speaker 1: you know, getting away with eating someone else's meal, it
- 15:21Speaker 1: actually could have some serious consequences on the job. People
- 15:25Speaker 1: don't forget stuff like this, and you see these people
- 15:28Speaker 1: every single day. This is according to a human resource expert.
- 15:31Speaker 1: It becomes a trust issue. So Steve, I have to
- 15:35Speaker 1: ask you. I know you did it office lunches in
- 15:44Speaker 1: my life, taking somebody's food because I ain't that way.
- 15:48Speaker 1: I don't like I don't know you. Oh so you
- 15:50Speaker 1: don't know what kind of home they have at? How clean?
- 15:53Speaker 1: Two things I have done I've had mine taken. Yeah,
- 15:59Speaker 1: I've called a person what happened? And I've had I've
- 16:03Speaker 1: seen a person taking a person's life. Okay, well what
- 16:07Speaker 1: happened when both these is now situations I used to
- 16:12Speaker 1: my advantage? Yeah they see not you don't want this out,
- 16:18Speaker 1: So now I need a couple of favors. Is the
- 16:21Speaker 1: mom dog? I mean, look, I saw you because I'm
- 16:27Speaker 1: real observing y'all know that about me. I'm extremely observing.
- 16:30Speaker 1: So I'm watching this dude steal this dude food and
- 16:34Speaker 1: the dude food he was stilling. He's deceased. His name
- 16:36Speaker 1: is James Paradise, and we worked at General Lecture and
- 16:40Speaker 1: this dude was taking Jared Jane paradig lec Jamee Cook
- 16:42Speaker 1: cook his ass off, and he was just eating James
- 16:45Speaker 1: lunch every now and then. And I called it. Now,
- 16:48Speaker 1: if I tell this to James Paradise, don't I'm talking
- 16:52Speaker 1: about You've been to get drug out in the parking
- 16:54Speaker 1: lot and when you come back in, you're gonna need
- 16:56Speaker 1: to show the people that the dog your I d still.
- 17:01Speaker 1: You know like sandwiches. You know James cook ribs, he
- 17:04Speaker 1: take his ribs. You know he made pork shoulders sandwich.
- 17:08Speaker 1: He should bring it in to work for everybody. He
- 17:10Speaker 1: stole his pork shoulders and James getting upset. So I
- 17:15Speaker 1: saw him take James stop. It was his young white
- 17:19Speaker 1: dude that was still in the food because he was single,
- 17:23Speaker 1: and you know he wouldn't bring no lunch half the time,
- 17:25Speaker 1: the stupid as boys. So I told him, I say, man,
- 17:29Speaker 1: you know, if Jane find out you want taking here,
- 17:31Speaker 1: lunch man, you know what's gonna happen to you? Cheese? Wait?
- 17:36Speaker 1: What come on? Chee? Yeah, that's what I need. See.
- 17:44Speaker 1: Once I hear that fear in your voice, then I
- 17:47Speaker 1: got your ass now because all jeez, it's not a
- 17:50Speaker 1: hood turn, he said. I said, look, hold on, man,
- 17:56Speaker 1: this ain't got to go to win. Look, it's gonna
- 18:00Speaker 1: stay right here. I'm need a couple of favors. Man.
- 18:03Speaker 1: M Now, I'm gonna leave early Wednesday. I need you
- 18:08Speaker 1: to cover my job. It's not a problem with me, Steve,
- 18:16Speaker 1: it's Mr Harvey. Harvey. Now you're gonna put some spec
- 18:23Speaker 1: on my Now, I was the original bird man, So
- 18:29Speaker 1: you're gonna put some speck on my name. And so
- 18:32Speaker 1: I had him cover cover my job like three times
- 18:37Speaker 1: for that. Then I saw a dude take my luck. Uh,
- 18:42Speaker 1: this is a black dude had it just got hired,
- 18:44Speaker 1: and he would hadn't completed his ninety day probation. Now
- 18:48Speaker 1: if I report this, you ain't gonna get the job.
- 18:53Speaker 1: Oh man, I'm so sorry. I thought it was mine.
- 18:55Speaker 1: Out of hell. Your name is Steve Gregory. It's Gregory,
- 19:03Speaker 1: you know Frederick Rather Stev get confused with Frederick. Right,
- 19:10Speaker 1: So I said, so, Frederick, look here, man, I'm just
- 19:13Speaker 1: need a couple of favors. From now. I'm gonna come
- 19:17Speaker 1: in late. I need you to punch my time clock
- 19:20Speaker 1: when you get at the gate, punch my time clock
- 19:23Speaker 1: from me. Hit me in. Oh that's all, that's that's
- 19:27Speaker 1: that's not a problem. Now listen to me. They have
- 19:31Speaker 1: a camera aimed at the time clock, so you gotta
- 19:34Speaker 1: put your back to the camera. So he did it
- 19:38Speaker 1: the first time. How do you know all of this?
- 19:42Speaker 1: Come on, no, no, no, excuse me, excuse me to
- 19:45Speaker 1: h was never a third whom. Hulum was crime with
- 19:51Speaker 1: a purpose, with respect. Thugs just out here doing stuffs
- 19:56Speaker 1: are stupid crimes with a purpose, and it was always
- 20:02Speaker 1: to better uplift one self. Yes, yeah, And so that's
- 20:10Speaker 1: what I had him do so I could leave early
- 20:13Speaker 1: cause it a little white dude, and I could come
- 20:15Speaker 1: in late causing Frederick. Wow. So I had been a
- 20:19Speaker 1: nice little set up. And then meanwhile at school he
- 20:24Speaker 1: was you know hall passes with the first hustling. Yeah,
- 20:30Speaker 1: y'all need passes to be late in this hallway? Who
- 20:33Speaker 1: name you put on that there? See, my name was
- 20:35Speaker 1: never on the hall pass. So I ain't need you
- 20:37Speaker 1: talking about you got it from Steve because I ain't
- 20:39Speaker 1: got no hall pass because I had told her back
- 20:43Speaker 1: off my locker anyway, and so I kept my stuff.
- 20:48Speaker 1: I told her back off my lockert that I had
- 20:52Speaker 1: the hard bent down and I put on my step behind.
- 20:55Speaker 1: So if you owe my locking, I ain't never had nothing.
- 20:58Speaker 1: Oh I get okay, Yeah, So how the hell I

- 23:36Speaker 1: how you doing. My name is Darryl, darl kids they
- 23:39Speaker 1: go to our together. Oh yeah, yeah, your daughters Kalin right, yes, okay,
- 23:44Speaker 1: and my son is DJ Daryl Jr. Yeah. I think
- 23:47Speaker 1: I may have met you at the beginning of the school. Yeah,
- 23:50Speaker 1: you remember meeting me? Daryl? Oh, I met a lot
- 23:53Speaker 1: of people. But I'm sorry, I can't place you right now. Okay,
- 23:56Speaker 1: no problem. Hey listen, um, I was getting your call.
- 24:00Speaker 1: You know, there's only a handful of black kids at
- 24:03Speaker 1: the school, you know, being a private school and all.
- 24:06Speaker 1: And uh, we the black parents, we all got together
- 24:09Speaker 1: and had a meeting a couple of nights ago. Okay,
- 24:12Speaker 1: you said, all the black parents. Okay, I wasn't there.
- 24:14Speaker 1: Why wasn't our call? Uh, well, we actually had a
- 24:17Speaker 1: meeting about your daughter, Kylin. Well what about Kalin? Is
- 24:21Speaker 1: she is there a problem at school and she's crazy
- 24:24Speaker 1: or something. I don't even know about. What's what's going
- 24:26Speaker 1: on with? Well, actually, we're you know, we feel privileged
- 24:29Speaker 1: to be you know, you know, like I said, there's
- 24:31Speaker 1: only a handful of blacks, and we try to carry
- 24:33Speaker 1: ourselves in a dignified way. Our presents, our attitude, the
- 24:37Speaker 1: way we handle ourselves. And uh, you know, Kaylin is
- 24:40Speaker 1: doing very good in school, but want I understand, and
- 24:42Speaker 1: very nice with all the rest of the kids. She's
- 24:44Speaker 1: getting along. That's not the problem. What we're what we're
- 24:47Speaker 1: trying to get is, uh the groomy of Kalin. You know,
- 24:51Speaker 1: Kalin has these braids and what we were trying to
- 24:55Speaker 1: do is give you know, we had a meeting about it.
- 24:57Speaker 1: We want to hold on, hold on hold of did
- 25:00Speaker 1: you just say her grooming something wrong with her groom? Well,
- 25:04Speaker 1: it's not necessarily her clothing, of course, you know, the
- 25:06Speaker 1: kids were the uniforms, but the braids. You know, we
- 25:09Speaker 1: we want to represent ourselves with a lot of dignity
- 25:12Speaker 1: the way we carry ourselves. We want to be um,
- 25:16Speaker 1: you know, pretty much nice and clean, spitting, polished. We
- 25:18Speaker 1: would really prefer for her hair was straight and opposed
- 25:21Speaker 1: to being braided up, you know, you mean, it kind
- 25:25Speaker 1: of gives off a ghetto type of look to it,
- 25:27Speaker 1: and that's what we're trying to avoid. Are you crazy?
- 25:31Speaker 1: It's something wrong with you. You know, first of all,
- 25:33Speaker 1: how the hell you get my If you couldn't call
- 25:36Speaker 1: me for the meeting, why are you calling me now?
- 25:38Speaker 1: Like I said, man, the meeting was to get the
- 25:40Speaker 1: general consensus on where all the parents feeling the same
- 25:42Speaker 1: way about your daughter and her braids. You know, we're
- 25:45Speaker 1: just trying to keep everything classy. When it comes to
- 25:48Speaker 1: the blacks that attended school, it's only ten of us,
- 25:51Speaker 1: you know, ten children attending I'll tell you what you
- 25:54Speaker 1: can attend. You can what you can attend to? Is
- 25:57Speaker 1: this phone hanging up in your grace? You tell the parents,
- 26:00Speaker 1: all of them for me, y'all can go straight and
- 26:03Speaker 1: hit rock bottom out of hell. Talk about my child
- 26:05Speaker 1: and her braids. Her braves are ethnic, they are nice,
- 26:09Speaker 1: she's well grooms and I don't know how in the
- 26:11Speaker 1: hell you got my telephone number. But tell all the
- 26:14Speaker 1: parts from me to kiss the crack of my you
- 26:16Speaker 1: know what. Listen. So, first of all, I don't like
- 26:18Speaker 1: the way that you're talking to me. Okay, I carry
- 26:20Speaker 1: myself with class, with dignity. I'm spitting polished mans. You
- 26:32Speaker 1: gets her hairstyle and let me say something real, cameo
- 26:34Speaker 1: to your Okay, you and all her parents can hit
- 26:39Speaker 1: rock Some'm out of hell. Don't call me no more
- 26:41Speaker 1: with no like this. This is ignorant. I'm far beyond this.
- 26:45Speaker 1: My child is well groomed. She is gonna go to
- 26:48Speaker 1: that school. As a matter of fact, as much money
- 26:50Speaker 1: that costs could go there too. Y'all should have been
- 26:52Speaker 1: meeting on how we can get together and pay the tuitions.
- 26:55Speaker 1: How about fact? Are you trying to sit here and
- 26:57Speaker 1: tell me that you've got a problem taking her braids
- 26:59Speaker 1: down and wearing her air straight so she can look
- 27:01Speaker 1: a lot more classy than what she looks right now
- 27:03Speaker 1: at your pathetic look because she's having right now. You
- 27:06Speaker 1: know what I don't. What's your hair looked like? Take
- 27:08Speaker 1: a picture of your self and send it to me
- 27:10Speaker 1: texted to me since you get folk phoned numbers, and
- 27:13Speaker 1: give it to you. Take a picture of your stepf
- 27:15Speaker 1: and texted to me. I bet you you look like
- 27:17Speaker 1: who would have thought it? My daughters braids are gonna
- 27:20Speaker 1: stay up for the rest of the years. As a
- 27:22Speaker 1: matter of fact, we ain't gonna rebraid it. It's gonna
- 27:24Speaker 1: stay that way, so it can be mad at and
- 27:26Speaker 1: represent that's what we're gonna do. Frances, listen, I don't
- 27:29Speaker 1: I don't want to argue. I just wanted to call
- 27:31Speaker 1: and see if we could actually, you know, come to
- 27:34Speaker 1: a medium on this. Do you think that there's a
- 27:36Speaker 1: possibility that I mean, when I'm I'm picking up DJ
- 27:40Speaker 1: tomorrow after school, would it what would it be all
- 27:43Speaker 1: right if I picked up little Kaylin and brought her
- 27:46Speaker 1: home and let my wife do our hair. Please? I
- 27:49Speaker 1: wish that he would pick my start up and see
- 27:53Speaker 1: what the hell I do. I'm gonna call my husband's
- 27:55Speaker 1: him to come off your house and whoop your after
- 27:58Speaker 1: he braids yo, And I wish you would pick up
- 28:01Speaker 1: my thought. I call the police on As a matter
- 28:04Speaker 1: of fact, you're gonna have to call the police on
- 28:06Speaker 1: me and my husband Steward and see what happens. Maam.
- 28:09Speaker 1: I'm just trying to get some class here. That's all
- 28:11Speaker 1: we're wanting. We're not wanting to fight with you. It's
- 28:14Speaker 1: just the blacks here. We think that we want a
- 28:16Speaker 1: little bit more classy look of the way we are growing.
- 28:19Speaker 1: That's the only thing we're looking for. The only person
- 28:21Speaker 1: who's gonna be taking the classes when we get to
- 28:24Speaker 1: what you're gonna be kicking the class. How about bad? Yeah,
- 28:28Speaker 1: I can't stand up like you. Y'all get five dollars
- 28:33Speaker 1: and one penny in your box and think you better
- 28:36Speaker 1: than everybody as you get where you came from. As
- 28:38Speaker 1: a matter of fact, what's your what's your name? Because
- 28:41Speaker 1: I'm calling the principle on your uh day, give me

- 28:49Speaker 1: that's that's that's that's not that's not really what my
- 28:51Speaker 1: name is. But that's what told me when you first
- 28:53Speaker 1: called me. What is your real name? My name is
- 28:56Speaker 1: my name. My real name is Tommy Thomas. No my
- 29:00Speaker 1: last name either. What What the hell is your name?
- 29:03Speaker 1: Do you know? My name is Tommy nephew Tommy from
- 29:06Speaker 1: the Steve Hobby Morning Show. Your husband, Keith got me

- 29:20Speaker 1: you you got me ready to tick the pts, cool
- 29:28Speaker 1: and everything. I'll tell you what. Keep eat out for
- 29:32Speaker 1: the rest of the week, he told me, He said, Man,
- 29:39Speaker 1: he said, it don't take about two and a half
- 29:41Speaker 1: minutes for my wife to go off. He said, it

- 29:53Speaker 1: calm down? What what what? I got one more thing
- 29:56Speaker 1: to ask you? What is the baddest and I mean
- 29:58Speaker 1: the baddest radio show in the land. You know, it's
- 30:03Speaker 1: the Steve Harvey Morning Show. She wasn't having it. She
- 30:11Speaker 1: was a little tance back then. Yeah, tance about that.
- 30:17Speaker 1: You know, nappy is the new thing? Yeah? Does that
- 30:21Speaker 1: mean nappy is the new thing? It's natural? You mean natural,
- 30:25Speaker 1: like like the like the like the young boys they
- 30:28Speaker 1: have nappy here but they land they lands up. Oh
- 30:33Speaker 1: all right, coming up at the top of the hour,
- 30:35Speaker 1: MS and will be here with National News and then
- 30:38Speaker 1: Jay with Man on the Streets. You're listening to Steve
- 30:41Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. All right, Steve, did you want to
- 30:45Speaker 1: comment one more time on Tommy's prank nappy here? Because
- 30:49Speaker 1: before we go to further As the leader of this
- 30:52Speaker 1: rambunctious bunch, I would like to let everybody know that
- 30:56Speaker 1: it's not called nappy, it's natural, a thing of beauty.

- 31:15Speaker 1: that the entire Morning show has lost their damn mind.
- 31:19Speaker 1: And the leader of this group, I felt compelled to
- 31:24Speaker 1: come back and straighten it out. Y'all. Pranks get us
- 31:34Speaker 1: all proud of That's deep coming from Steve. Alright, alright,
- 31:40Speaker 1: Jay's here with Man on the Street. What you got ja,

- 32:09Speaker 1: Thank y'all, Thank y'all enjoying the show. Huh No, it's
- 32:19Speaker 1: not of us, the beach and suntan lotion. No, what's
- 32:21Speaker 1: that what we do? Sometimes I do this right outside
- 32:24Speaker 1: the show Umley where we are when people coming, A
- 32:27Speaker 1: lot of white people said watermelon, Yeah, yeah, summer, Yeah,
- 32:35Speaker 1: watermelon is what did you record it on? Girls? You
- 32:39Speaker 1: look like you know that sounds like you recorded on
- 32:42Speaker 1: that machine that I got when I was nine. I
- 32:46Speaker 1: got that pushing play had a little mike in it,
- 32:51Speaker 1: with a little round mike with the corner my aunt gave.
- 32:57Speaker 1: Was one of those man that was my favorite Christmas
- 33:02Speaker 1: I got. I got man almost got killed that Christmas. No.
- 33:07Speaker 1: I recorded my first comedy sketch. But when when you
- 33:10Speaker 1: were customs, I did Rudy reymost signifying markets. I knew
- 33:19Speaker 1: it by heart. All right. So guys, Steve, let me
- 33:22Speaker 1: ask you what makes you think of summer? Yeah? Well,
- 33:29Speaker 1: I can't tell you what really makes me think or
- 33:31Speaker 1: something you can't radio, can you clean it up? I

- 33:41Speaker 1: Yeah what iced tea? U and nudity, Iced tea and nudity,
- 33:51Speaker 1: you know, almost nudity. I love to see your sister
- 33:56Speaker 1: with a regular swimsuit on. But as she's walking up
- 34:00Speaker 1: the beach, it turns into a thought. Right now, that's
- 34:07Speaker 1: when you didn't bought the size that fit. But as
- 34:12Speaker 1: you walk, it works his way t back. Yes, ever
- 34:20Speaker 1: even to be word size still be out. But then
- 34:24Speaker 1: eventually when she come back and both didn't worked up,
- 34:27Speaker 1: you'll be gonna walk. You better walk on this beach.
- 34:31Speaker 1: I think we get the picture. Yeah, all right, on
- 34:35Speaker 1: that note, it's time to slemen, very old MS and trip.
- 34:42Speaker 1: Thank you very much everybody. This is answered with the news. Okay,
- 34:45Speaker 1: hen what looks like a continuation of a game of
- 34:47Speaker 1: can you chop this? Between the Trump White House and China.
- 34:50Speaker 1: President Trump now says he may be willing to go
- 34:52Speaker 1: one better and consider placing tariffs on another one hundred
- 34:55Speaker 1: billion dollars worth of Chinese imports, and the President explained
- 34:58Speaker 1: his motives yesterday to an audi incident in West Virginia
- 35:01Speaker 1: In many respects. I think we're gonna have a fantastic
- 35:03Speaker 1: relationship a long term with China, but we have to
- 35:05Speaker 1: get this straighten out. We have to have some balance.
- 35:08Speaker 1: Uh yeah. First Trump slapped his tariffs on Chinese steel
- 35:11Speaker 1: and aluminum, and then the Chinese did the same to us,
- 35:13Speaker 1: putting tariffs on porks and nuts and threatening and threatening
- 35:16Speaker 1: actually to place the extra levies on soybeans that has
- 35:20Speaker 1: now already to press US farm prices. And you know,
- 35:22Speaker 1: a U S farm people are the people who really
- 35:24Speaker 1: propelled Donald Trump into office and baton Rouge. Louisiana community
- 35:28Speaker 1: activists have joined the up a CP and urging the
- 35:30Speaker 1: state Attorney General to appoint a special prosecutor to investigate
- 35:33Speaker 1: the case of Alton Sterling, the black man selling CDs
- 35:36Speaker 1: outside of a convenience store who was shot to death
- 35:39Speaker 1: by a white policeman as he laid face down on
- 35:41Speaker 1: the ground and held down by another cop. Attorney General
- 35:44Speaker 1: Jeff Landry refused to prosecute either white officer, even though
- 35:47Speaker 1: Blaine Salomony that's the cops scene on video yelling profanities
- 35:51Speaker 1: before shooting Mr Sterling six times in the back. Salimony
- 35:55Speaker 1: has been fired. The Florida history teacher accused of running
- 35:58Speaker 1: a racist podcast as quit her job. Diane Bodovich was
- 36:02Speaker 1: already on suspension ever since her white supremacist online radio
- 36:05Speaker 1: show was discovered. Bolovitch should taught middle school and Citrus
- 36:09Speaker 1: County and maintained a Twitter account that espoused white racist views.
- 36:13Speaker 1: It was the Huffington Post that reported her hateful sideline. Meanwhile,
- 36:18Speaker 1: the Trump administration is putting an end to a program
- 36:21Speaker 1: that exempted illegal aliens who were pregnant from deportation. That
- 36:24Speaker 1: fed say this policy treats pregnant women like any of
- 36:27Speaker 1: the detainee. However, those in their third trimester, they say,
- 36:30Speaker 1: will be released. Immigration and human rights activists are slamming
- 36:33Speaker 1: that new policy. The poor communities of Brazil still upset
- 36:38Speaker 1: over the apparent assassination of a woman named Mariol Franco,
- 36:41Speaker 1: a black city councilwoman who fought for civil rights for
- 36:44Speaker 1: the non white community in Brazil. Franco spoke out about
- 36:47Speaker 1: the racist brutality, which she said that was routinely used
- 36:50Speaker 1: by the nation's soul called security forces in the ghettos,
- 36:52Speaker 1: they're called favelas over there. Reports are that two men
- 36:55Speaker 1: in a car came up alongside her car and shot
- 36:58Speaker 1: and killed this councilwoman and her driver. Thousands of Brazilians
- 37:01Speaker 1: continue to hit the streets daily demand that Rio's military
- 37:04Speaker 1: force be disbanded. The movie Black Panther about to become
- 37:07Speaker 1: the first film released in Saudi Arabian thirty five years
- 37:11Speaker 1: movie theaters over they have banned. Uh, those kind of
- 37:13Speaker 1: thing were banned actually after the ultra conservative standards were
- 37:16Speaker 1: adopted about forty years ago. However, the Crown Prince says
- 37:19Speaker 1: he's in favor of more progressive culture. So according to Variety,
- 37:23Speaker 1: AMC wants to open forty movie houses in Saudi Arabia
- 37:26Speaker 1: over the next five years. And as I said the top,
- 37:28Speaker 1: Black Panther is going to be the first film sin over. Finally,
- 37:31Speaker 1: today is National Twinkies Day and also National Army Day.
- 37:35Speaker 1: We salute all of those who fight for our rights.
- 37:39Speaker 1: We'll be back with more entertainment in today's trending topics.
- 37:42Speaker 1: Twenty minutes after the hour of Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 37:46Speaker 1: You're listening to the ste Harvey Morning Show. Unable to
- 37:51Speaker 1: convince Congress or Mexico to pay for his proposed border wall,
- 37:55Speaker 1: Donald Trump has now directed National Guard troops to be
- 37:59Speaker 1: stationed along the border. Mexico responded by saying such a
- 38:03Speaker 1: plan would gravely damage and that's in quotes, would greatly
- 38:07Speaker 1: damage its relationship with the US. The plan is for
- 38:11Speaker 1: the National Guard to assist US customs and border protection
- 38:14Speaker 1: officers and halting the flow of illegal immigrants into the US. Democrats,
- 38:19Speaker 1: of course, are critical of this plan, with Senator Michael
- 38:22Speaker 1: Bennett of Colorado saying, unfortunately the President failed to lead,
- 38:27Speaker 1: and rather than find real solutions and immigration, he continues
- 38:31Speaker 1: to stroke fear. That's what he said. Other leaders say
- 38:35Speaker 1: that it seems that US citizens with automatic weapons are
- 38:39Speaker 1: a greater threat to US than hard working immigrants that
- 38:42Speaker 1: come to the U s seeking a better life for
- 38:43Speaker 1: themselves and their families. So there you go. Yeah, but
- 38:51Speaker 1: he ain't run this by noble No, well he never does.
- 38:54Speaker 1: Nobody even knows who's gonna fund this because it takes money. Now,
- 38:58Speaker 1: you know, national gods, great people in the National Guard. Absolutely,
- 39:02Speaker 1: I don't want them down there doing that though, because
- 39:04Speaker 1: you know, you like, I'm not, I'm not I'm running.
- 39:08Speaker 1: I'm telling you right, If enough of them is coming
- 39:11Speaker 1: across the border, and it's just me. I'm running They yeah, yeah, yeah, matter.
- 39:20Speaker 1: I promise you I'm not looking at you over here.
- 39:27Speaker 1: Pass out of lunch bag. Here, y'all take this with no,
- 39:30Speaker 1: I'm not finishing here. Run up in the forty people
- 39:32Speaker 1: and get my no. I'm now. This is just not
- 39:35Speaker 1: President's bigger problems this damn water in this country. I'll
- 39:39Speaker 1: tell you what, I could save him a lot of money.
- 39:41Speaker 1: If they give me one billion, I'll go down there
- 39:44Speaker 1: and draw a line crossing. I'll get a line for
- 39:50Speaker 1: you in that set a billion dollars and that's all.
- 39:54Speaker 1: I draw this line and then that would be That
- 39:56Speaker 1: would be it. I'll take a billion done. I'm talking
- 39:59Speaker 1: about fun you. It's not presidential. This is just not presidential.
- 40:04Speaker 1: None of none of the stuff does nothing. What I
- 40:07Speaker 1: say it ain't presidential. President you're not saying present, but
- 40:14Speaker 1: I mean, yeah, it's like he just wakes goes to sleep,
- 40:17Speaker 1: wakes up with these ideas and expects them to execute them.
- 40:20Speaker 1: You know, he has to go through channels and people
- 40:24Speaker 1: in Congress and things like that in order to get

- 47:37Speaker 1: Please hello Hello, I wish to speak with a Mr.
- 47:43Speaker 1: Please hello, sir. My name is Sebastian. I am with
- 47:48Speaker 1: the Art Institute and I wanted to give you a
- 47:52Speaker 1: call about um. I have a huge showing coming up
- 47:56Speaker 1: where I am going to be displaying my portfolio and
- 48:00Speaker 1: all of my drawings within it. But I have one
- 48:02Speaker 1: drawing that I am looking to display that I have
- 48:05Speaker 1: not put on canvas yet, and I'm looking to take
- 48:08Speaker 1: something of essence to put on canvas and I want
- 48:12Speaker 1: to call you about getting permission. Wait, hold on, dog,
- 48:15Speaker 1: just to stop you right now. I don't do that,
- 48:17Speaker 1: all right, I'm not a model. That's not my profession,
- 48:20Speaker 1: So you would not waste your time no more. You
- 48:22Speaker 1: know what I'm saying. Just go ahead, mr Mr. I
- 48:25Speaker 1: don't think you understand that my showing is gonna have
- 48:28Speaker 1: some very important people there. I am, like I said
- 48:31Speaker 1: before with our institute. Yea, I said, I don't do that.
- 48:36Speaker 1: That's not me. I mean, I hate you know what,
- 48:39Speaker 1: would you just calling folks up you as solicitor or something.
- 48:41Speaker 1: I mean, y'all just randomly picking out folks and trying
- 48:44Speaker 1: to trying to get them the model look sir, Mr. No,
- 48:48Speaker 1: I'm not just randomly calling people. I actually have done
- 48:51Speaker 1: research in order to get your number. What what I'm
- 48:54Speaker 1: doing is, I'm not calling you as for being a
- 48:58Speaker 1: model that I'm going to portray on canvas, but you
- 49:01Speaker 1: have something far more greater visually that I would like
- 49:05Speaker 1: to hold on canvas. Now you're married to your wife?
- 49:10Speaker 1: Is a correct? The whole whoa whoa whoa dob no
- 49:14Speaker 1: for who is this? Seriously? Because I can give my number,
- 49:18Speaker 1: I can get my number, because you're talking about my
- 49:19Speaker 1: wife and stuff. I know my wife. My name is Sebastian.
- 49:24Speaker 1: I am with art Institute. What I'm trying to do
- 49:27Speaker 1: with capturing and mortalize the beauty of essence on canda
- 49:31Speaker 1: lies okay yo, for real thought, you just can't. You
- 49:34Speaker 1: don't talk about my wife all right, So I'm not.
- 49:37Speaker 1: I'm not calling in a negative manner towards your wife.
- 49:41Speaker 1: I want to I want to mortalize her and capture
- 49:45Speaker 1: her on canvas, the beauties that she beholds. I've seen
- 49:49Speaker 1: your wife several times. You guys reside, whoa, whoa, whoa?
- 49:52Speaker 1: Do you see my wife? But wait, what do you
- 49:54Speaker 1: see my wife? At? What? Why do you? Why are you?
- 49:56Speaker 1: Why are you watching my wife? I've seen her. She
- 49:59Speaker 1: she shops on her hall im I've seen it so
- 50:01Speaker 1: many times there, and she holds all the beauty that
- 50:05Speaker 1: an artist would like to put on Kansas. Like I
- 50:07Speaker 1: said before, I have a huge showing and you're welcome
- 50:10Speaker 1: to come out as well. That's gonna be so many
- 50:12Speaker 1: important people there. But I wanted to call and get
- 50:14Speaker 1: permission from you about painting your wife. No, you ain't
- 50:18Speaker 1: got that permission. Play well, you just can't. You just
- 50:20Speaker 1: can't go around following my wife and trying to motalize
- 50:24Speaker 1: or whatever. I just said, all right, so so, but
- 50:28Speaker 1: I would like to let you know I have taken
- 50:30Speaker 1: the liberty myself. I have painted your wife's head. What, Joe,
- 50:36Speaker 1: you have lost your damn mind. You can't be just
- 50:38Speaker 1: walking around here painting folks headed. You gotta get permission
- 50:42Speaker 1: for that. What's wrong with you? You are crazy? You
- 50:45Speaker 1: don't understand your wife holds the essence that every artist wants.
- 50:49Speaker 1: I don't care what he holds. You can't be going
- 50:51Speaker 1: around painting folks heads. Wrong with you, sir. That's the
- 50:55Speaker 1: reason why I'm calling trying to get permission from you.
- 50:58Speaker 1: I said, bastelor and want to put your wife on
- 51:01Speaker 1: canvas because she holds the essence that every artist wants
- 51:04Speaker 1: to behold. She mortalized the beauty of canon. Whoa hold
- 51:08Speaker 1: of God? Hold of the hold of God? You're telling
- 51:10Speaker 1: me you're walking around column painting my wife's head? Is that? What?
- 51:16Speaker 1: What are you doing? Dude too, I'm only trying to
- 51:20Speaker 1: complete my folio. Oh no, your portfolio here? Listen it
- 51:24Speaker 1: is If I see my wife's head anywhere, I don't
- 51:27Speaker 1: care a new play of magazine. I don't care where
- 51:29Speaker 1: Bill or whatever. Yo, I'm gonna find Joe. I'm whoop you.
- 51:32Speaker 1: Do you understand what I'm saying to you. I'm gonna
- 51:34Speaker 1: see did you you understand that, sir? I don't want
- 51:37Speaker 1: to have a duel with you. Sir, here's a duel.
- 51:43Speaker 1: They do what they do. In fact, what name is
- 51:47Speaker 1: a bashi name is? That's a fashion, sir. All I
- 51:52Speaker 1: want to do is paint your wife in her rawest
- 51:54Speaker 1: and purest. Foe. That's there's law and purest for me.
- 51:59Speaker 1: What do you want? Seriously, I want to paint your wife.

- 52:08Speaker 1: you watch your my active now? He's not? I don't know.
- 52:13Speaker 1: That's what you should do. Tell me where you as

- 52:59Speaker 1: you called my wife? You? I want to pay your
- 53:03Speaker 1: wife and the beauty that she bought on canvas? Did
- 53:06Speaker 1: you not understand? I just said, you know, I told

- 56:07Speaker 1: Now this is according to the Shade Room and responds
- 56:10Speaker 1: to recent criticism. Uh, he tweeted. Uh, this is what
- 56:13Speaker 1: Safari said. I'm not crying over lost jewelry, that's material,
- 56:19Speaker 1: but not knowing if you're about to get shot in
- 56:21Speaker 1: the back of your head is the most traumatic thing
- 56:24Speaker 1: I've ever had to deal with. Thank God, I'm still alive.
- 56:28Speaker 1: They want me broken, but all they did was make
- 56:31Speaker 1: a beast out of me. When you do a crime
- 56:33Speaker 1: and get caught ten minutes after you did it, Uh,
- 56:36Speaker 1: that's called karma. Not snitching, but moving forward to people
- 56:40Speaker 1: who know and don't know me, don't take offense to

- 57:10Speaker 1: you're fitting to die, that's that's a cold piece of work. Man.
- 57:15Speaker 1: That ain't no, it's it's it's it's it's it's really,
- 57:19Speaker 1: have a gun on you. I've been I've been robbed
- 57:23Speaker 1: at gunpoint before. It unnerves you. I don't care who
- 57:28Speaker 1: you are, it unnerves you, especially if that ain't your world,
- 57:32Speaker 1: your life. Come on, man, if you are here, you robbing,
- 57:35Speaker 1: that's what you do. But even when it's on you, though,
- 57:38Speaker 1: it's unnerving. I got that, and I can understand what
- 57:41Speaker 1: a little what a little soldier coming from now hear
- 57:45Speaker 1: the part after I saw the video, m I would
- 57:48Speaker 1: have took the crime better. And I understand why he
- 57:51Speaker 1: was crying because it would probably do the same thing
- 57:53Speaker 1: to me. You just can't cry in a red fair
- 57:56Speaker 1: coat though, that's what that's what you got out of that.
- 58:01Speaker 1: You can't cry with the red coat. That too off.
- 58:07Speaker 1: Have a T shirt on or something the red for
- 58:11Speaker 1: a coat. Yeah, you don't see the crime. You see
- 58:15Speaker 1: red for a coat, right, but there's proved that ain't
- 58:19Speaker 1: real cause they have took that. Well, no, it's not real.
- 58:22Speaker 1: He wears for a lot on the show. Whenever you
- 58:25Speaker 1: see him, he has one, you know, like and all honesty.
- 58:28Speaker 1: I understand the kid, I do, and I do. I
- 58:32Speaker 1: do understand, especially something happened just that you know soon.
- 58:38Speaker 1: It's unnerving. Man, the dude, the dude thought he was
- 58:42Speaker 1: gonna die. Absolutely, Steve, I'm in a gren These foods
- 58:46Speaker 1: out here can blow your brains out, and you're sitting
- 58:48Speaker 1: there thinking, lin man, I ain't gonna see my family
- 58:50Speaker 1: no more. This is But like he said, he's in

- 59:38Speaker 1: temmy subject. He doesn't call anymore. Hello, Stephen Shirley. I
- 59:42Speaker 1: met a guy about a month ago. We met at
- 59:45Speaker 1: a restaurant he co owns with a friend. We sat
- 59:48Speaker 1: there for the whole night, chatting the night away, and
- 59:51Speaker 1: left in the morning. He got my numbers from a
- 59:54Speaker 1: girlfriend of mine just before we left the place. He
- 59:57Speaker 1: then called thirty minutes later to find out if we
- 59:59Speaker 1: got him, saying, the next day I called him, we
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: had a chat, and during the week he proposed to
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: meet again with me, but he didn't pitch. I don't
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: get that part. I don't get that, but anyway, but
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: he didn't pitch. That's what she says. Then called later
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: to apologize as he had to present reports to his manager.
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: In the same week, Friday, we met again at the restaurant,
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: then later went home, and the next week he called
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: and told me he wanted to see me, even if
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: it was only for a minute. By that time, I
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: was on my way home. I called him again. We chatted,
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: then we met again at the restaurant and he offered
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: to give me a full body massage, of which I
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: rejected him nicely. Recently, he doesn't call at all. He
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: doesn't get back to me like he used to. Can
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: you please advise advise on what I can do without
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: compromising myself in this situation. Warmest regards, Laredo. Okay, Laredo,
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: If what I think happened actually did happen, then that
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: could be and it's probably why he's not calling you anymore.
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: You said you guys met at a restaurant then later
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: went home. I gotta ask you if you meant that
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: you went home together, because that's certainly what it sounds like.
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: But then at the end of the letter you said
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: you don't want to compromise yourself. But if you guys
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: went home together already, then I'm assuming you compromised yourself
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: earlier in the letter. It's a little confusing right there
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: for me. And there's a lot of stuff going on,
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: a lot of stuff happening really really fast. Uh. You
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: called him the next day. You immediately called him the
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: next day. It sounds a little eager, a little desperate
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: to me. That's just that's my opinion, you know, And
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: I have some other questions. Why was he presenting reports
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: to his manager if he owned the restaurant. A lot
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: of confusing stuff going on in this letter. Um. Also, Um,
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: you called him again, he asked you for a full
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: body massage. You rejected him nicely. See again that and
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: sound like you know you guys went home and got busy.
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: I don't know. This letter is confusing to me, Steve,
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: What do you think you can at least get started.
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: This whole thing is just a mess because your letter
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: is sporadic. You've given us information out of order, uh, incomplete,
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: And anytime a woman writes incompletely, it's because she's intentionally
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: leaving something out. You're the most You're the most thorough
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: communicators I know on earth. You all will tell it
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: all because you all's gift is probing and digging and
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: and getting into the depth of the conversation. So when
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: you read a letter from a woman who has an
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: incomplete letter, is because she's trying to pick the information
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: she's going to share with you and leave out other information.
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: You all are the best at it in the world,
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: communicating and talk. So how she didn't wrote a letter
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: that we don't understand. It's because she didn't left some
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: stuff out, but she trying to figure out. But now
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: how does she clean up and fix this mess? Well,
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: I got some news for you when we come back, ma'am. Um,
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: And you probably not gonna like this answer right here,
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: but this answer is the truth because you are a
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: chapter in the book, and sport fishing she's she's the
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: chapter in the book. That's why I wrote it. I'll
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: explain it to you when we come back. We'll have
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: part two of Steve's response coming up at twenty three
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: after the hour you're listening Steve Harvey Show, All right,
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: coming up in twenty minutes, the Steve Harvey saf opera
- 1:03:49Speaker 1: The Chapman's The Chapmans Are Bad. Come on, Steve with
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: part two of your response to today's Strawberry letter. Here's
- 1:03:59Speaker 1: a letter he doesn't call anymore. You know, ma'am, you
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: left a lot of information out of your letter. Uh,
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: Laredo or Larado, whatever your name is. You met a
- 1:04:09Speaker 1: guy about a month ago. You met a restaurant he
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: co owns with a friend UM, Like Shirley said, if
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: he co owns a restaurant, why is he um filling
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: out reports to his manager? Uh, the owner don't feel
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: out reports to the manager. The manager feels out the
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: reports to the owner. Uh. Here's see, here's what here,
- 1:04:27Speaker 1: here's here's what started this whole thing. Ladies, be careful
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: of this. Right here. We chatted the whole night and
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: left in the morning. He got my numbers from a
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: girlfriend of mine just before we left the place. He
- 1:04:41Speaker 1: then called thirty minutes later to find out if we
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: got home safe. See right there, you're impressed by that, Ladies,
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: listen to me. Don't be totally impressed by the things
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: that we automatically do in the beginning. These are things
- 1:04:55Speaker 1: that guys are automatically talked to do in the beginning.
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: Don't be totally impressed with that. I mean, it's nice
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: that he does it. It's reason's troublesome if he doesn't.
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: That's the red flag. But please don't bring out the
- 1:05:07Speaker 1: band just because he called to see if you got
- 1:05:09Speaker 1: home safe. Hell, that's routine. Player move one on one
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: first night, Okay, Then the next day I called him.
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: You had a chat. Then he proposed to meet you again,
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: but he didn't pitch. I think that's meaning that he
- 1:05:22Speaker 1: didn't show up. He didn't play. Then later call to apologize,
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: and in the same week we met again at the restaurant,
- 1:05:29Speaker 1: YadA YadA. The next week he called, told me he
- 1:05:31Speaker 1: wanted to see me for a minute, but you was
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: on the way home. I called him again in the restaurant.
- 1:05:36Speaker 1: Then he offered to give you a full body massage,
- 1:05:38Speaker 1: and you rejected him nicely. Now recently he doesn't call
- 1:05:42Speaker 1: at all. He doesn't get back to me like he
- 1:05:44Speaker 1: used to. Can you please advise on what I can
- 1:05:45Speaker 1: do without compromising myself in this situation? Okay? First of all,
- 1:05:50Speaker 1: what's wrong if all y'all? Deal was chat a few
- 1:05:54Speaker 1: times at the restaurant, at the house, he offered to
- 1:05:57Speaker 1: do a full body massage. You told him. Now now
- 1:05:59Speaker 1: he don't call no more. Okay. Then that's the chapter
- 1:06:03Speaker 1: in the book that spurred the sport fisherman theory. He's
- 1:06:07Speaker 1: fishing not to keep, but to throw back. Now you
- 1:06:11Speaker 1: are a throwback, not because of the actions you did,
- 1:06:15Speaker 1: but because he just not looking for someone like you.
- 1:06:22Speaker 1: Here's the deal. See, it seems like she did everything right.
- 1:06:26Speaker 1: I agree with Shirley. Did you sleep with the guy
- 1:06:28Speaker 1: when you went home? What does that mean? But if
- 1:06:30Speaker 1: you didn't, you've done everything right enough soul that you
- 1:06:34Speaker 1: found out he was wrong. See, ladies, that's what you
- 1:06:37Speaker 1: gotta get yourself in the position to do constantly, do
- 1:06:42Speaker 1: enough of the right things, and then you'll find out
- 1:06:44Speaker 1: if the guy is wrong or not. Is it not
- 1:06:46Speaker 1: better to find out right now that he won't call you?
- 1:06:49Speaker 1: Then if you didn't broke off the cookie gave him
- 1:06:52Speaker 1: your time. This is only a week or two we're talking,
- 1:06:56Speaker 1: but now she's so distraught she wrote a letter because
- 1:06:58Speaker 1: she can't figure out what's on. It's nothing wrong. You
- 1:07:02Speaker 1: figured out that he was wrong. You did everything right.
- 1:07:05Speaker 1: He didn't call you back, walk away. She was feeling him, though,
- 1:07:10Speaker 1: and she just wanted to quit feeling a feeling you exactly.
- 1:07:14Speaker 1: He's not that into you. I'm not working next to her. Okay, alright, Steve,
- 1:07:20Speaker 1: we gotta get out of here. You can email us
- 1:07:21Speaker 1: her Instagram. That's your thoughts on today's strawberry letter at
- 1:07:24Speaker 1: my girl Shirley. Now switching gears, Carla, I have to
- 1:07:28Speaker 1: ask you this, what happened to um? What's her name?
- 1:07:31Speaker 1: Countess former Countess Louanne Dayly sets on Real Housewives of
- 1:07:36Speaker 1: New York City. What is going on? What didn't do? Yeah,
- 1:07:40Speaker 1: she's in a lot of hot water. They had this
- 1:07:44Speaker 1: Halloween party on Real Housewives of New York City and
- 1:07:49Speaker 1: Countess Luanne or former Countess whatever she addressed as Diana Ross. Okay,
- 1:07:55Speaker 1: I love Diana Ross. Yeah, her co stars, they were
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: all shocked, but they weren't surprised. But your girl, Luen.
- 1:08:04Speaker 1: She wore what appeared to be dark. Don't say, don't
- 1:08:09Speaker 1: get dark makeup like black face, No, not quite, but
- 1:08:16Speaker 1: it was dark, and you know, darker than what she is.
- 1:08:18Speaker 1: Dark makeup and an exaggerated wig and a low cut
- 1:08:22Speaker 1: jump suit. And she tried to get ahead of any
- 1:08:26Speaker 1: backlash by telling uh ET News that I was just
- 1:08:30Speaker 1: being an impersonator for Halloween. I didn't mean to offend
- 1:08:33Speaker 1: anyone for being Diana Ross the Halloween. It just that
- 1:08:37Speaker 1: didn't enter her mind that she was offending people. So
- 1:08:41Speaker 1: all of a sudden, she's saying it became a thing.
- 1:08:44Speaker 1: And then she apologized, and she apologized to anyone that
- 1:08:48Speaker 1: she had offended. She looked get it? Yeah, how come
- 1:08:52Speaker 1: she can't come dressed as Diana Ross. While I guess
- 1:08:55Speaker 1: it was the makeup because of the makeup, it's too
- 1:08:58Speaker 1: dark and two dark, it's not dark, right, Well, she's
- 1:09:02Speaker 1: way darker than Luanne Louanne, so let me see. It
- 1:09:08Speaker 1: can be misconstrued as black face, like the dancer, the
- 1:09:13Speaker 1: Dancing with the Stars dancing. I'm looking at it. Uh
- 1:09:19Speaker 1: what you don't think it was that bad? No, not
- 1:09:23Speaker 1: to me. I mean, you know, she's got a darker makeup,
- 1:09:26Speaker 1: but it's not that insulting. She just looks you know,
- 1:09:30Speaker 1: she just looks orange. Yeah, you know, like Trump. That damn.
- 1:09:39Speaker 1: George Lopez was on the he said Donald Trump came
- 1:09:48Speaker 1: by in the motorcade in front of his uncle. His
- 1:09:51Speaker 1: uncle tried to pick it. Oh my god, Holly, they
- 1:10:01Speaker 1: leave that in. So that is Steve Harvey dot com,
- 1:10:07Speaker 1: the New York Starting accused of wearing black face. That's
- 1:10:10Speaker 1: not black. I'm not offended with that. Ain't even close.
- 1:10:14Speaker 1: George Wallace, mama has a black face. Okay, okay, you're
- 1:10:19Speaker 1: all friends? Are what? I would beat you? I finish
- 1:10:27Speaker 1: your bill would have been over. What's wrong with you?
- 1:10:32Speaker 1: I'm just trying to get the people a comparison. That's
- 1:10:37Speaker 1: all right, coming up in ten minutes the Steve Harvey
- 1:10:40Speaker 1: soap opera that Chapman's are in the Bad Baby. You're
- 1:10:48Speaker 1: listening to Steve Harvey Morning show. Everybody, This is your girl,

- 1:12:06Speaker 1: Bad Acting Theater, Junior had just come back from the
- 1:12:09Speaker 1: jay spot, slapped the warden, and was back in his
- 1:12:14Speaker 1: cell before it lights out. Jelly lights out everybody not mine.
- 1:12:21Speaker 1: I want my lights to stay on. In fact, don't
- 1:12:24Speaker 1: ever cut him off. If you cut him off, I'm
- 1:12:26Speaker 1: slapping everybody in hit. Wow. That Junior is uh just hello,
- 1:12:45Speaker 1: there's Governor Jenkins. Uh, this is Warden Phillips. What we
- 1:12:51Speaker 1: have here is a failure. I want to copy you
- 1:12:55Speaker 1: about Junior. He's in jail for a bunch of seaway.
- 1:13:01Speaker 1: You could pardon that so he can get out of here.
- 1:13:06Speaker 1: He's running, heaving in jail and you won't believe this,
- 1:13:10Speaker 1: But he's slapping me. No, wh won't I believe it?
- 1:13:16Speaker 1: When he was out last week? Can't buy head? Slap
- 1:13:18Speaker 1: the hell out of me? What makes you think I
- 1:13:21Speaker 1: want him back here? Uh? Meanwhile, Chester and Ramone are
- 1:13:25Speaker 1: so busy celebrating that they didn't even realize that Earl
- 1:13:28Speaker 1: and KK have signs outside that say you've got meat
- 1:13:32Speaker 1: in your vegan burgers. Ramote remote, look at all the
- 1:13:36Speaker 1: people outside, man, You see that, see that, you see
- 1:13:39Speaker 1: We're gonna have customers for dates. What what you're talking
- 1:13:41Speaker 1: about as a sign? I didn't say that it is
- 1:13:43Speaker 1: meeting your vegan burger? Wow? Will I be there? This
- 1:13:47Speaker 1: ain't nobody but Kak and Daddy trying to bring me down. Okay,
- 1:13:50Speaker 1: I gotta thank, I got I got got to thank.
- 1:13:52Speaker 1: Shout up, Ramote, I got to thank. I'm trying to
- 1:13:54Speaker 1: thank now. Well, I think we should score up one
- 1:13:58Speaker 1: for Earl Chapman. Looks like he got his message across.
- 1:14:02Speaker 1: I said, I say they saw the signs. They solved
- 1:14:05Speaker 1: this signs. I saw him through the window. They saw
- 1:14:08Speaker 1: the signs. Him and that little flunky Ramon. I can't
- 1:14:12Speaker 1: believe he trust that boy. Trust that boy more on
- 1:14:14Speaker 1: his own father. Oh, this is a great day for me.
- 1:14:19Speaker 1: I'm sorry, k K. I've been so busy trying to
- 1:14:22Speaker 1: bring Chester down that I totally forgot about your problem.
- 1:14:26Speaker 1: Did you ever find out who your baby daddy? Will? No,
- 1:14:31Speaker 1: I've called all the a's in the phone book. Have

- 1:14:40Speaker 1: We did kick Yeah, I know, I know you did.
- 1:14:45Speaker 1: Not back to me. Boy when he saw them signs,
- 1:14:48Speaker 1: he was just like a uh see, he was just
- 1:14:51Speaker 1: like six weeks old bread molding. I don't give a
- 1:14:55Speaker 1: damn if he is my son. Oh nobody attacked my

- 1:15:16Speaker 1: is KK poor KK, no idea had to go on.
- 1:15:37Speaker 1: She's gonna Yes, that's my records, though, sure night. When
- 1:15:44Speaker 1: you get hung up on from jail, it's really something wrong,
- 1:15:48Speaker 1: you know, don't you watch your minutes and talk to man?
- 1:15:52Speaker 1: We did used to kick it. I called all the
- 1:15:58Speaker 1: a I w about your little problem. Now back to me.
- 1:16:06Speaker 1: How do you put meat in a Wickenberger? It's about
- 1:16:12Speaker 1: to go down. Good job, an excellent job. He got better.
- 1:16:20Speaker 1: She's been the key. You know what you're into it? Man?
- 1:16:23Speaker 1: You really? Yeah? You sound so much like fog Korn.
- 1:16:26Speaker 1: Like wanted to say, I'll say, I'm Earl our god
- 1:16:35Speaker 1: boy boy, I swear to God, and then tell you
- 1:16:42Speaker 1: know your mama, I said, I'll say, tell your mama. Wow, Okay,
- 1:16:52Speaker 1: I'm not back to me. KAK is the star that
- 1:16:59Speaker 1: but KK is the start of the two ain't she
- 1:17:02Speaker 1: been with. It's gonna get close to home. I have
- 1:17:07Speaker 1: a feeling because she's gonna run out of people. I'm
- 1:17:14Speaker 1: called all the a's, like every A Anderson, Yeah is
- 1:17:29Speaker 1: KK and Chester none at all? No, no, no, soote
- 1:17:34Speaker 1: anybody all right? Coming up at the top of the hour,
- 1:17:43Speaker 1: we're gonna talk about well, yeah, that always on this show.
- 1:17:48Speaker 1: But a woman, says ancestry dot com a DNA test
- 1:17:52Speaker 1: that she did there revealed that her father was her
- 1:17:55Speaker 1: doctor will explain later. Well, yeah, this is this is crazy.
- 1:18:00Speaker 1: You're listening to the stew and Entertainment news. Guys. We
- 1:18:05Speaker 1: gotta say congratulations to our friend ty Reese. Uh. Tyrese
- 1:18:10Speaker 1: and his new wife Samantha have a little bun in
- 1:18:13Speaker 1: the oven. Some congratulations. Yeah. They revealed it in a
- 1:18:17Speaker 1: People magazine that they are expecting a baby girl. This
- 1:18:21Speaker 1: is after Samantha learned she was pregnant back in January.
- 1:18:24Speaker 1: In a rare joint interview. The couple told the publication
- 1:18:28Speaker 1: they told People Magazine both of our love and energy
- 1:18:32Speaker 1: and magic and families are bonded forever because we're going
- 1:18:36Speaker 1: to have this child. It's unbelievable. Tyrese, of course, has
- 1:18:40Speaker 1: one daughter, Sheila, from a previous marriage, but Samantha says
- 1:18:44Speaker 1: there will be no sibling rivalry because Sheila has been
- 1:18:47Speaker 1: asking for siblings every since she's known her. Wow. Great
- 1:18:53Speaker 1: the Gibson's Yeah, the Gibson some little baby girls. Look
- 1:19:00Speaker 1: you know you got he got full five loaded. You
- 1:19:05Speaker 1: ain't even happy? Excuse me, what's saying? Jay? We can't hear. No,
- 1:19:12Speaker 1: that's great, that's great that he's gonna have her. One thing.
- 1:19:16Speaker 1: He's married. He's a good father. Yea, yeah, he was
- 1:19:19Speaker 1: a great dad. Yeah that's quite evident. Yeah, great day. Well,
- 1:19:26Speaker 1: speaking of daddy's and and things like that, this story,
- 1:19:30Speaker 1: Steve is unbelievable. Grandkids is at the house this week.
- 1:19:33Speaker 1: I just wanted to say, well, it's part of what's wrong?
- 1:19:38Speaker 1: What you ab not even thirty roads and a cornerby? Yes,
- 1:19:43Speaker 1: they pop us sit down and play a game, but
- 1:19:47Speaker 1: was no game over there? That's what. Now I got
- 1:19:49Speaker 1: to think a game play with him three year old,
- 1:19:52Speaker 1: and let tell you right now, and not what I
- 1:19:55Speaker 1: do how much grandfather? But eight minutes minutes, eight minutes
- 1:20:01Speaker 1: and then and then I wants to stop, and I
- 1:20:04Speaker 1: want you all to play with each other and then
- 1:20:07Speaker 1: come on strong minutes. They weakened after six. The last
- 1:20:16Speaker 1: two is the hell of my doing? Wow? Well, let
- 1:20:20Speaker 1: me tell you about this woman. Um. She says that
- 1:20:23Speaker 1: an ancestry dot com DNA test Steve revealed her father
- 1:20:29Speaker 1: was her parents fertility doctor. Her name is yeah, her
- 1:20:32Speaker 1: name is Kelly. This is crazy. She received the results
- 1:20:38Speaker 1: from a DNA sample she had sent to a popular
- 1:20:41Speaker 1: uh genealogy website. She assumed there had been a mistake. Okay.
- 1:20:47Speaker 1: The test show that her DNA matched a sample from
- 1:20:49Speaker 1: a doctor more than five hundred miles away, and though
- 1:20:53Speaker 1: she had never heard of him, ancestry dot Com predicted
- 1:20:57Speaker 1: apparent child relationship between the two and a real daddy. Yeah,
- 1:21:04Speaker 1: all these years though she had never she had never
- 1:21:06Speaker 1: even met this doctor. But that's what her DNA sample matched.
- 1:21:10Speaker 1: This okay, well, okay, well listen, Okay, I'm trying so okay, Well,
- 1:21:17Speaker 1: I hadn't even finished the story. St Let me get
- 1:21:22Speaker 1: through the story. Please. At the time, she was not
- 1:21:26Speaker 1: aware that more than thirty six years ago, her parents
- 1:21:29Speaker 1: had struggled to conceive. She didn't know her mother had
- 1:21:32Speaker 1: undergone artificial insemination. Okay, nor did she or her parents
- 1:21:37Speaker 1: know that her mother's fertility doctor had allegedly used his
- 1:21:41Speaker 1: own sperm to get her mom p well sometimes adopted.
- 1:21:50Speaker 1: What happened was they had a customer, right they needed
- 1:21:53Speaker 1: her was a customers. They were shot on a batch.
- 1:21:58Speaker 1: They needed a batch. Why let this this money go
- 1:22:03Speaker 1: right here? Let me just go in the bathroom make
- 1:22:07Speaker 1: a batch up. What they had done was the parents
- 1:22:12Speaker 1: he donated his own The doctor dropped it, dropped it.
- 1:22:18Speaker 1: But do you just drop it? Dropped it in the
- 1:22:20Speaker 1: coffe he'd dropped it on the fold, have said, but
- 1:22:26Speaker 1: he dropped it, said I've been damn, what am I
- 1:22:30Speaker 1: gonna do? Let me make up a batch real quick. Man,
- 1:22:35Speaker 1: you could have been black and walking in there with
- 1:22:36Speaker 1: the results. Your daddy, Who I say, your daddy? Okay, okay, okay,
- 1:22:41Speaker 1: show so where we are with the story now? Okay? Okay. So,
- 1:22:46Speaker 1: like I told you, the doctor actually used his own sperm. Okay,
- 1:22:51Speaker 1: he did not even match the couple specifications. They wanted. Uh,
- 1:22:55Speaker 1: someone that was more than six ft tall with brown
- 1:22:58Speaker 1: hair and blue eyes. Okay. The pair was having a
- 1:23:02Speaker 1: hard time conceiving. Like I said, um uh, the father
- 1:23:06Speaker 1: had a low sperm count. The mother had a tipped uterus,
- 1:23:10Speaker 1: and that's a condition in which the uterus tilt. She
- 1:23:12Speaker 1: had a so the doctor recommended that they that she
- 1:23:20Speaker 1: undergo a procedure the mom and which she would be
- 1:23:22Speaker 1: inseminated with both sperm from her husband. So you guys
- 1:23:25Speaker 1: were kind of right on this one. And an anonymous
- 1:23:27Speaker 1: donor who matched the couple's specifications and told you what
- 1:23:30Speaker 1: they were more than six ft, blue, blue eyes brown here.
- 1:23:35Speaker 1: Then the doctor told them that he had found a
- 1:23:37Speaker 1: donor matching their description, but he brown. Can we look
- 1:23:51Speaker 1: for this tall nor We did white leg and we
- 1:23:54Speaker 1: got this shot as black. So the doctor delivered his
- 1:23:59Speaker 1: own child. He never ever ever told the mom that
- 1:24:03Speaker 1: you know, he was delivered, that he donated the sperm.
- 1:24:06Speaker 1: He never told her that. So, um, you know the
- 1:24:09Speaker 1: pair they're still no wrong years ago with this baby.
- 1:24:14Speaker 1: I mean they're they're suing him. I mean, you know
- 1:24:16Speaker 1: they this is crazy, man, Yeah, I know the stuff
- 1:24:24Speaker 1: people will do. And this guy's a doctor. So this
- 1:24:27Speaker 1: was a white family. Well it doesn't say but brown here.
- 1:24:34Speaker 1: Of course, we can't have brown hand, blue eye somebody.
- 1:24:40Speaker 1: You haven't seen a black woman put the blue eyes
- 1:24:43Speaker 1: in her head? Girl? All right, we'll have you children
- 1:24:49Speaker 1: children had corn. We'll have more of the Steve Harvey
- 1:24:54Speaker 1: Morning Show right after this. You're listening to Steve Harvey
- 1:24:58Speaker 1: Morning Show. So you know what we talked about spring,
- 1:25:02Speaker 1: Spring is upon us and everything. Summer is coming. I
- 1:25:05Speaker 1: have a question for you guys. Instead of like spring
- 1:25:07Speaker 1: cleaning your house, you know when you refresh everything, maybe
- 1:25:10Speaker 1: throw a new coat of paint on something, how about
- 1:25:13Speaker 1: spring cleaning your life? So I wanted to ask you, Steve,
- 1:25:17Speaker 1: what what is something you know that you would like
- 1:25:19Speaker 1: to clean up and refresh about yourself? Yeah, or get
- 1:25:23Speaker 1: rid of Yeah, just clean up your life? How how
- 1:25:26Speaker 1: would you do that? And what is it? I wish?
- 1:25:27Speaker 1: I ain't hand no stumble at all. Yeah, like a
- 1:25:33Speaker 1: six pack now, I don't gotta have no six packs?
- 1:25:36Speaker 1: Cut it down. I just wanted to be just smooth,
- 1:25:38Speaker 1: straight down. Remember remember Steve, when you guys do the
- 1:25:42Speaker 1: shirts off tour back in the day in such great shape,
- 1:25:47Speaker 1: then yeah, I can take my shirt off. You don't
- 1:25:50Speaker 1: want me to put it back, Timmy, could you take
- 1:25:55Speaker 1: your shirt off now and be proud? I don't know
- 1:25:58Speaker 1: about proud. We gonna take it off. Then? What about you?
- 1:26:03Speaker 1: J oh I don't care if I'm proud of not
- 1:26:05Speaker 1: I didn't take it off. One thing about me. I
- 1:26:08Speaker 1: will get naked. I don't have a problem. Yeah, I
- 1:26:10Speaker 1: don't care. Just just I'm paying money and you're gonna
- 1:26:13Speaker 1: look at this junior. How about you. I can't take no, no, no,
- 1:26:20Speaker 1: no no no. I don't like I could take it
- 1:26:23Speaker 1: off if we stayed with the front over. Yeah, I
- 1:26:27Speaker 1: can't get that. Came around by the side because I'm
- 1:26:30Speaker 1: gonna lose fans. But from the front though, I could
- 1:26:34Speaker 1: take my shirt off. It ain't excellent or nothing like that.
- 1:26:37Speaker 1: But at sixty one, you take me. Some people at
- 1:26:45Speaker 1: the pool that don't care. Yeah, I don't give a damn.
- 1:26:52Speaker 1: Came here to swim. What are you looking at my
- 1:26:56Speaker 1: belly for? You're looking at I'm here to swim, just
- 1:26:59Speaker 1: like you got sad you can't eat your lunch, but
- 1:27:07Speaker 1: I'm here to swim. I don't know, man, if I
- 1:27:11Speaker 1: could all, let me see if I spring cleaned my life,
- 1:27:14Speaker 1: I've pretty much gotten rid of most dead weight that
- 1:27:18Speaker 1: I know of people I've been doing I've been doing
- 1:27:23Speaker 1: that for the past few years now. Just and I
- 1:27:26Speaker 1: do feel better. I feel lighter. I feel like I'm
- 1:27:30Speaker 1: progressing at a higher rate than I used to because
- 1:27:33Speaker 1: I had so many people pulling on me and just
- 1:27:37Speaker 1: pulling on me the wrong way. It's very, very It's hard, man.
- 1:27:41Speaker 1: So if you can spend I would. I would suggest
- 1:27:43Speaker 1: to everybody to take inventory of your life, you know,
- 1:27:47Speaker 1: just take inventory what is happening. I don't know. We're
- 1:27:52Speaker 1: the studio amp. Well that's what happened when they raised
- 1:27:58Speaker 1: pizzas over the Jordan. Listen, Mama house. They gotta have
- 1:28:01Speaker 1: Seffy c J. I would comes out of nowhere tombs,
- 1:28:11Speaker 1: I would, Man, she really hot. Can you say your
- 1:28:15Speaker 1: friends with George? But you constantly talk about his mom
- 1:28:19Speaker 1: a friend friend, But he doesn't mind, I mean, doesn't
- 1:28:23Speaker 1: he get upset? She wants some really hot Shirley. Thank
- 1:28:28Speaker 1: you the police, the police terminals, get a police. What
- 1:28:33Speaker 1: do you mean them? It's just a pizza, right, You're
- 1:28:36Speaker 1: a twelve at a time. Huh, she get twelve at
- 1:28:39Speaker 1: a time? Steven, help you friend, Dad. It becomes all right. Listen,
- 1:28:57Speaker 1: when we come back, speaking of food, Jake, we're gonna
- 1:29:00Speaker 1: talk about office lunch thieves. Okay, right after this, you're
- 1:29:05Speaker 1: listening to the show, people are getting ready for work
- 1:29:10Speaker 1: right now, probably and uh, maybe they're making their own lunch.
- 1:29:14Speaker 1: You know people do that at home. Well, Steve, it
- 1:29:16Speaker 1: turns out that eighteen percent of people have admitted to
- 1:29:20Speaker 1: eating someone else's lunch at the office. One workers live
- 1:29:24Speaker 1: tweeting of the mystery of a co worker stolen shrimp
- 1:29:27Speaker 1: fried rice was retweeted over a hundred and seventy three
- 1:29:31Speaker 1: thousand times. Okay, uh and and while you may think
- 1:29:36Speaker 1: it's funny, and it is kind of funny, I mean
- 1:29:39Speaker 1: when you think about it, um, you know, getting away
- 1:29:41Speaker 1: with eating someone else's meal, it actually could have some
- 1:29:44Speaker 1: serious consequences on the job. People don't forget stuff like this,
- 1:29:48Speaker 1: and you see these people every single day. This is
- 1:29:51Speaker 1: according to a human resource expert. It becomes a trust issue.
- 1:29:56Speaker 1: So Steve, I have to ask you, I know you
- 1:29:59Speaker 1: did you know he didn't do it. I have never
- 1:30:06Speaker 1: in my life taking somebody's food because I ain't that way.
- 1:30:10Speaker 1: I don't like I don't know you, So you don't
- 1:30:12Speaker 1: know what kind of home they haven't? How clean? Right now,
- 1:30:15Speaker 1: two things I have done, I've had mine taken and
- 1:30:21Speaker 1: I've seen a person taking a person's lunch. Okay, well,
- 1:30:25Speaker 1: what happened when both these is now situations I used
- 1:30:29Speaker 1: to my advantage. Yeah, they see not you don't want
- 1:30:35Speaker 1: this out, So now I need a couple of favors,
- 1:30:39Speaker 1: is the mom? No, Dog? I mean, look, I saw
- 1:30:44Speaker 1: you because I'm real observing. Y'all know that about me.
- 1:30:46Speaker 1: I'm extremely observing. So I'm watching this dude steal this
- 1:30:50Speaker 1: dude food. And the dude food he was stealing is
- 1:30:53Speaker 1: he's deceased. His name is James Paradise and we worked
- 1:30:56Speaker 1: at General Electric and this dude was taking Jared Jane
- 1:30:59Speaker 1: Paradig like a Jamee could cook his ass off, and
- 1:31:01Speaker 1: he was just eating James lunch every now and then,
- 1:31:03Speaker 1: and I caught him. Now, if I tell this to James,
- 1:31:07Speaker 1: Paddy dog, I'm talking about you've been to get drug
- 1:31:11Speaker 1: out in the parking lot, and when you come back in,
- 1:31:13Speaker 1: you're gonna need to show the people that the do
- 1:31:15Speaker 1: your I d You know like sandwiches. You know James
- 1:31:21Speaker 1: cook ribs, he take his ribs. You know he made
- 1:31:25Speaker 1: pork shoulders sandwich. You should bring it in to work
- 1:31:27Speaker 1: for everybody. He stole his pork shoulders and James getting upset.
- 1:31:32Speaker 1: So I saw him take James stop. It was his
- 1:31:36Speaker 1: young white dude that was still in the food because
- 1:31:39Speaker 1: he was single, and you know, he wouldn't bring no
- 1:31:42Speaker 1: lunch half the time, the stupid as boy. So I
- 1:31:46Speaker 1: told him, I say, man, you know, if Jane find
- 1:31:48Speaker 1: out you want taking his lunch, man, you know what's
- 1:31:50Speaker 1: gonna happen to you? Cheese? Wait? What cheese? Yeah, that's
- 1:32:01Speaker 1: what I need. See. Once I hear that fear in
- 1:32:03Speaker 1: your voice, then I got yours, because all jeez is
- 1:32:07Speaker 1: not a hood turn, he said. I said, look hold on, man,
- 1:32:14Speaker 1: this ain't got to going to wear. This can stay
- 1:32:18Speaker 1: right here. But I'm need a couple of favors. Man.
- 1:32:21Speaker 1: M Now I'm gonna leave early Wednesday. I need you
- 1:32:26Speaker 1: to cover my job for me. See it's not a
- 1:32:31Speaker 1: problem with me, Steve, it's Mr Hugy. No. Now you're
- 1:32:40Speaker 1: gonna put some spec on my neck. I was the
- 1:32:43Speaker 1: original bird man, so you're gonna put some spec on
- 1:32:48Speaker 1: my name. And so I had him cover cover my
- 1:32:52Speaker 1: job like three times for that. All right, we'll be
- 1:32:56Speaker 1: back with Steve's closing remarks at forty nine after you
- 1:33:00Speaker 1: don't want to miss him. You're listening to show all
- 1:33:05Speaker 1: right here we are, Steve, last break of the day
- 1:33:07Speaker 1: for this beautiful Friday, take us into the weekend with
- 1:33:09Speaker 1: some lovely inspiring closing remarks. Let's go all right, um.
- 1:33:16Speaker 1: I chose this one today because I think it's important
- 1:33:20Speaker 1: for people to understand this. You know, uh, comparing yourself
- 1:33:28Speaker 1: to other people's success. It's very dangerous because it puts
- 1:33:34Speaker 1: you in a position I'm never really paying close enough
- 1:33:38Speaker 1: attention to where you are. It's not you should not
- 1:33:43Speaker 1: rate your success on the success of other people. I'll
- 1:33:49Speaker 1: tell you why. Let me give you a saying that's
- 1:33:53Speaker 1: in a proverb. I'm I'm, I'm paraphrasing a proverb. Success
- 1:34:00Speaker 1: isn't how far you got, but the distance you travel
- 1:34:06Speaker 1: from where you started. Listen to me. Success isn't how
- 1:34:11Speaker 1: far you got, but the distance you travel from where
- 1:34:16Speaker 1: you started. See, some people don't know how to measure
- 1:34:19Speaker 1: their success. If you keep putting it up against somebody else,
- 1:34:22Speaker 1: somebody else maybe have been doing it longer than you.
- 1:34:25Speaker 1: Somebody else may have another gift of talent than you.
- 1:34:27Speaker 1: If you're always comparing yourself to somebody else, you're gonna
- 1:34:31Speaker 1: come up short, and you'll never really realize that you
- 1:34:35Speaker 1: too have your own level of success, and you should
- 1:34:39Speaker 1: relish in that. You should be proud in that, you
- 1:34:42Speaker 1: should show gratitude in that. But if you always looking
- 1:34:46Speaker 1: at what somebody else is doing, you ain't gonna ever
- 1:34:48Speaker 1: be happy with yourself. And that's a miserable position to
- 1:34:51Speaker 1: put yourself in. Success is not how far you got,
- 1:34:56Speaker 1: but the distance you travel from where you started. You've
- 1:35:00Speaker 1: heard old people say in church, I ain't where I
- 1:35:02Speaker 1: want to be, but I think the Lord, I ain't
- 1:35:05Speaker 1: where I was. So you gotta look at it like that.
- 1:35:08Speaker 1: You gotta constantly take inventory of your life that way.
- 1:35:12Speaker 1: That's why I say all the time, listen to me,
- 1:35:16Speaker 1: life is not a game. It's a contest. See if
- 1:35:21Speaker 1: you look at life as a game. If I look
- 1:35:24Speaker 1: at life as a game and I look at Oprah
- 1:35:27Speaker 1: Winfreed or Tyler period and I look at how much
- 1:35:30Speaker 1: money they make, then it's a game and I consider
- 1:35:33Speaker 1: them winning. If I consider Oprah winning or Tyler winning,
- 1:35:37Speaker 1: then guess what I must be losing. I must be
- 1:35:40Speaker 1: losing because I'm not where they are. So if life
- 1:35:44Speaker 1: were a game, games have winners and losers. You can't
- 1:35:48Speaker 1: look at life like that. That life. That life ain't
- 1:35:51Speaker 1: filled with winners and losers. If I look at where
- 1:35:55Speaker 1: I started and I look at where I've gotten to,
- 1:35:59Speaker 1: I win. And that's why I say life in the game.
- 1:36:01Speaker 1: Life is a contest. See a contest is different. You
- 1:36:04Speaker 1: ever been to the fan. Everybody can get a blue
- 1:36:07Speaker 1: ribbon at the fan. You just gotta get in your
- 1:36:09Speaker 1: right category. Somebody to get the blue ribbon for biggest squash.
- 1:36:13Speaker 1: Somebody get the blue ribbon for best server. Somebody to
- 1:36:17Speaker 1: get the best best can corn. Somebody to get a
- 1:36:21Speaker 1: blue ribbon with the best sheep. Somebody get a blue
- 1:36:24Speaker 1: ribbon with the fattest hug. Somebody get a blue ribbon
- 1:36:27Speaker 1: from making the best apples. So just get in your
- 1:36:30Speaker 1: lane and get your blue ribbon. Quit tripping because you
- 1:36:34Speaker 1: ain't winning against somebody else. Life in the game, it's
- 1:36:38Speaker 1: a contest. Everybody can get their own blue ribbon. Stop
- 1:36:43Speaker 1: comparing yourself to everybody else. If I keep looking at
- 1:36:46Speaker 1: open Winfrey, man, I might be sad for a long time. Man.
- 1:36:50Speaker 1: I mean so if I look in my life from
- 1:36:53Speaker 1: where I started, from from stuttering, from flunking out of school,
- 1:36:57Speaker 1: from losing everything out on twice, from being homeless, and
- 1:37:01Speaker 1: why I'm at now, I'm a success if you look
- 1:37:05Speaker 1: at your life. Let's just look at your life where
- 1:37:07Speaker 1: you started. For say you got a supervisory position down
- 1:37:11Speaker 1: at the post office, you're a success. What about when
- 1:37:16Speaker 1: you wasn't working at all and now you drive a truck.
- 1:37:20Speaker 1: But remember when you didn't have no job. Remember when
- 1:37:23Speaker 1: you know your brother says that you're working. You're a success.
- 1:37:27Speaker 1: You're a success man, because life ain't a game. It's
- 1:37:33Speaker 1: a contest. The only person you in it with is yourself.
- 1:37:38Speaker 1: You ain't in it with Oprah and Tyler that they
- 1:37:41Speaker 1: in a whole anther lane. They in another category. Get
- 1:37:46Speaker 1: in your category. Get your blue ribbon at what you
- 1:37:49Speaker 1: can get a blue ribbon in life is not a game.
- 1:37:54Speaker 1: It's a contest. You can blue ribbon in any category.
- 1:38:00Speaker 1: You can come up with the sweetest sugar. You can
- 1:38:03Speaker 1: come up with the best hair cut, you can come
- 1:38:06Speaker 1: up with the best mode lawn. You can come up
- 1:38:09Speaker 1: with the prettiest tractor. You can go down there with
- 1:38:12Speaker 1: the biggest pumpkin. Just go get your blue ribbon in life, man,
- 1:38:17Speaker 1: Stop competing against other people. Success ain't how far you got,
- 1:38:25Speaker 1: it's the distance you travel from where you started. Those
- 1:38:29Speaker 1: are my clothes. Who drop the mic? Baby? Drop? Ye?
- 1:38:35Speaker 1: Hold on, hold on, I gotta get drop you drop.
- 1:38:40Speaker 1: It's really silver web. I know y'all heard that I
- 1:38:48Speaker 1: started too. So Steve, how do you? How do you
- 1:38:51Speaker 1: come up with these? I just I just think of
- 1:38:54Speaker 1: my life, all the lessons I've learned. I've learned all
- 1:38:57Speaker 1: these lessons. I got six one years of grinding and hustling,
- 1:39:03Speaker 1: and in my sixty one years of grinding and hustling,
- 1:39:06Speaker 1: I've recorded lessons in my mind. And uh, I just think, man,
- 1:39:12Speaker 1: that if I share them with people, like I'm trying
- 1:39:15Speaker 1: to come out with this app where I can share
- 1:39:17Speaker 1: it with people, where people can take these, and I'm
- 1:39:21Speaker 1: gonna give it a real catchy name. But I'm not
- 1:39:23Speaker 1: peep this. You like that one? No, I don't let
- 1:39:28Speaker 1: me drop those on you. No, I don't listen up?
- 1:39:35Speaker 1: And how about this right here? How about have yourself
