- 1:47Speaker 1: water go. Come come on your back now, I shall well,
- 2:03Speaker 1: I come on and everybody you are listening to the voice,
- 2:07Speaker 1: come on dig me now, one and only Steve Harvey,
- 2:10Speaker 1: Oh yeah, man, got a radio show. Do you understand that?
- 2:15Speaker 1: I'm telling you God been big in my life. God,
- 2:18Speaker 1: God is a gentleman, you know. I want to I
- 2:20Speaker 1: want to point that out to you. God is an
- 2:23Speaker 1: absolute gentleman. He will not come in unless he's invited.
- 2:31Speaker 1: He don't just barge into your life. He gives us
- 2:35Speaker 1: the power of choice. You know. If you say you
- 2:38Speaker 1: got it, I don't need you. He let you have it.
- 2:41Speaker 1: If you say I need you, come see about me.
- 2:45Speaker 1: He right there. It's just a real simple thing. Man.
- 2:49Speaker 1: So always say to people this, if you've gotten yourself
- 2:53Speaker 1: into something, and please know I have I man, see
- 3:00Speaker 1: that That's why I'm so adamant about it, because I've
- 3:03Speaker 1: gotten myself in some circumstances and positions in my life.
- 3:08Speaker 1: But I've been I've had some low moments, man, I've
- 3:12Speaker 1: had some moments where I did not know what to do.
- 3:16Speaker 1: I didn't know what was next, I didn't know how
- 3:20Speaker 1: to go about it. I didn't have no more ideas.
- 3:24Speaker 1: I was stuck. I thought a couple of times, well,
- 3:30Speaker 1: might not make it past this one. But then if
- 3:34Speaker 1: I don't make it past it, what's gonna happen? And
- 3:37Speaker 1: then I held on to this little thing that my
- 3:39Speaker 1: mother kept talking to me about. She said, sometimes when
- 3:43Speaker 1: you ain't got nothing else in you, just hope, she said,
- 3:47Speaker 1: just hope it'll be all right, you know. And what
- 3:50Speaker 1: I've learned in my life is that hope. It's the
- 3:53Speaker 1: beginning of faith. Hope. It's just is there a possibility
- 3:59Speaker 1: out there for me? I sure hope something happened. See hope,
- 4:06Speaker 1: hope it's okay, man, Because like I said, for me,
- 4:10Speaker 1: the way I've lived my life, hope was the beginning
- 4:13Speaker 1: of faith. It was just the idea. It's just the
- 4:16Speaker 1: thought that something could change from me, that something could
- 4:20Speaker 1: be a little bit different from me that maybe, man,
- 4:23Speaker 1: just maybe for some reason, I could be saved, I
- 4:29Speaker 1: could be rescued. Things could turn around, it could head
- 4:34Speaker 1: any other direction. Maybe I could quit messing up. Maybe
- 4:39Speaker 1: somebody will forgive me, Maybe somebody will just say all right.
- 4:44Speaker 1: I don't know, but I can't count the times I've
- 4:47Speaker 1: been in that position. But then once I hope a
- 4:52Speaker 1: little bit, and then I remember. Also my mother, because
- 4:54Speaker 1: she was a Sunday school teacher, she taught me the
- 4:58Speaker 1: most valuable lesson I've ever learned in my life. Nothing
- 5:01Speaker 1: has been greater in my life than my faith. She
- 5:04Speaker 1: taught me to pray. Mamma used to say, when you
- 5:08Speaker 1: get real dog for your son. Prad changes things. She said,
- 5:13Speaker 1: when you seem like you lost and you can't finding
- 5:16Speaker 1: your way, stop and pray, she said, because prad changes things.
- 5:23Speaker 1: You know, when you get a point in your life
- 5:24Speaker 1: when you've done all you can do and you can't
- 5:26Speaker 1: do no more and you just don't know what to
- 5:28Speaker 1: do next, she says, stop, So pray and combine that
- 5:35Speaker 1: prayer with that hope that you got, she said, because
- 5:40Speaker 1: that hope is the beginning of faith. She said. If
- 5:43Speaker 1: you pray, just hoping. She's saying that God come through
- 5:47Speaker 1: for you. That will give you confidence that he can
- 5:50Speaker 1: do it again. And then after a while, you quit hoping,
- 5:55Speaker 1: she's saying, you start believing. She saying, that's when you're
- 5:59Speaker 1: on to something. If you can turn that hope into belief,
- 6:06Speaker 1: that hope into faith, that's that's the ability to believe
- 6:14Speaker 1: in something that you can't see. But the key though,
- 6:17Speaker 1: the faith is you're believing in something that you can't see.
- 6:22Speaker 1: See hoping a little bit different from me now, I'm
- 6:24Speaker 1: pretty sure. Like I say, oftentimes to tell a lot
- 6:27Speaker 1: of people who can explain this thing a lot better
- 6:29Speaker 1: than I can to you, hope. It's just kind of
- 6:32Speaker 1: I don't know how to I don't know how to
- 6:34Speaker 1: say it. But I'm just telling you hope. You're just
- 6:37Speaker 1: hoping it work out right. You just have a thought
- 6:39Speaker 1: in your mind that you know, man, whoever you are,
- 6:43Speaker 1: or whoever you are, whatever you are, to me, God,
- 6:47Speaker 1: I show hope something change. Hope helps. Man. If you
- 6:51Speaker 1: ain't strong enough to have faith, have hope, hope, and
- 6:57Speaker 1: then if you pray with some hope and God answers
- 7:01Speaker 1: your prayer, then that hope gains a little confidence, and
- 7:07Speaker 1: after a while that confidence becomes faith. Now they're just hoping,
- 7:14Speaker 1: but I'm believing. I'm believing in something that I cannot see.
- 7:20Speaker 1: Faith has been the key to my entire existence, even
- 7:28Speaker 1: when I didn't have any It was faith, as I
- 7:32Speaker 1: look back on it, that has gotten me here, and
- 7:38Speaker 1: not just faith, but my faith. See, you will only
- 7:44Speaker 1: get to where you're going in your life based on
- 7:48Speaker 1: your faith. See. A lot of people get the word
- 7:53Speaker 1: faith confused, like what's your faith? And then they started
- 7:57Speaker 1: going down this whole list of all these different religions here.
- 8:01Speaker 1: But really an essence, man, when I talk to people
- 8:04Speaker 1: about faith, I'm talking to you about your your belief.
- 8:10Speaker 1: How much do you believe in the unseen? See? Faith
- 8:16Speaker 1: is the core of all that is happening to me today.
- 8:21Speaker 1: It is the faith that I have in my relationship
- 8:24Speaker 1: with God that enables me to just oftentimes, if I
- 8:30Speaker 1: stay on the right course and believe a certain way
- 8:34Speaker 1: and act a certain way, his blessings just poor. They
- 8:40Speaker 1: just come. And it comes in a lot of little
- 8:43Speaker 1: ways too. I've started to notice. See it ain't just
- 8:46Speaker 1: a lot of people think blessings is money, and now, man,
- 8:49Speaker 1: that ain't it it's coverage. It's every time my plane
- 8:53Speaker 1: lands safe. It's every time they predict bad weather and
- 8:58Speaker 1: I get up in the sky and it don't be
- 9:00Speaker 1: no bad weather. You know this, This is favor. These
- 9:05Speaker 1: are blessings that get poured out to me. Somebody call
- 9:08Speaker 1: me and offer me something, not money, but an opportunity. See,
- 9:15Speaker 1: blessings come a lot of ways. But once you tie
- 9:19Speaker 1: into God, once you tie in and you start doing
- 9:23Speaker 1: the best you can do, and you start asking for
- 9:26Speaker 1: Him to make you a better person, to help shape
- 9:30Speaker 1: and mold you into the kind of man or person
- 9:33Speaker 1: that he wants you to be. You be amazed what
- 9:36Speaker 1: God can do with you. Man, if you just invite
- 9:39Speaker 1: me in and allow him to be a part of
- 9:41Speaker 1: your life. I mean, what you got to lose out there?
- 9:44Speaker 1: Come on? Why why would you not change? Why would
- 9:48Speaker 1: you not allow God to be a part of your life?
- 9:51Speaker 1: God got some big plans for you. If he didn't,
- 9:53Speaker 1: you wouldn't keep waking up. You're listening tow ladies and gentlemen, boys, girls, monkeys,
- 10:09Speaker 1: ring of tangs, gorillas, chimps, rhinoceros, elephants, hippos. I must
- 10:21Speaker 1: repeat this especial love to them big j'all. Ring of
- 10:24Speaker 1: tang Man. What's up? What? That's how you open the
- 10:34Speaker 1: shop at gas Penguins, everybody, I know, I started off
- 10:42Speaker 1: with a series of monkeys, my favorite and it was
- 10:45Speaker 1: not a reference to you all in anything, So don't
- 10:48Speaker 1: tweet that. I was just making reference to them because
- 10:52Speaker 1: they're my favorite animals in the movie We Don't Don't
- 10:56Speaker 1: go Well. Yeah, that goes without saying referencing up. Oh good, wow, Shirley, Hello,
- 11:07Speaker 1: sir Ollo, Happy hump day. Yeah, morning everybody, Oh food,
- 11:16Speaker 1: top of the morning. That's how you started off ignorant.
- 11:22Speaker 1: You pick it up, it up, pick it up. See y'all.
- 11:32Speaker 1: I'm gonna tell y'all something on this show. Okay, we
- 11:36Speaker 1: have several ignite people. I know. They try to just
- 11:38Speaker 1: blame it on me. Yeah, but that's not the ring
- 11:42Speaker 1: leader though. If you want to talk, you know, reference you. Okay,
- 11:48Speaker 1: I'll be season. What is your people? Yeah? Hey man,
- 11:56Speaker 1: who is that in the in planet at the ape?
- 11:58Speaker 1: Who is that monkeyess ad Man? It was his name
- 12:03Speaker 1: one with the messed up I oh yeah, I can't think.
- 12:06Speaker 1: Oh my god, I supposed to know that you're still
- 12:09Speaker 1: in touch with your friend Cleveland. Hey, oh yeah, Dudded
- 12:13Speaker 1: lifetime friends of mine. Yeah, he was at the yard.
- 12:17Speaker 1: He was at the presentation of my street. Oh yeah.
- 12:21Speaker 1: And he was standing in the crowd. Now, one dude
- 12:23Speaker 1: was in the crowd. Ain't nobody seen in years? Coba?
- 12:27Speaker 1: Oh yeah, yeah, Coba Coba. You're right. But a lot
- 12:30Speaker 1: a lot of my cats came up for the naming
- 12:32Speaker 1: of the block after me. One dude had been on
- 12:35Speaker 1: the run twenty years. Ain't nobody seen him? He showed
- 12:37Speaker 1: up for he was standing in the back. So that

- 13:21Speaker 1: That's that's nice and politic big of you tried to be.
- 13:26Speaker 1: But I think he raised his hand up for victory
- 13:28Speaker 1: one time. Who lost a lot of support. All right,

- 13:41Speaker 1: Did it come fast this year? It's here? Yeah, we're

- 14:09Speaker 1: You know, the words should you know can make a
- 14:13Speaker 1: person feel judged or disappointed. You see where I'm going
- 14:17Speaker 1: with that? To me? Like you should have left somebody
- 14:19Speaker 1: else fit? Yeah, yeah, that's hurtful. Yeah, yeah, you should have.

- 18:09Speaker 1: you create, nobody created no drama, not at my house.
- 18:13Speaker 1: Oh oh okay, I thought you were saying you had
- 18:15Speaker 1: no one at your house. I was like, as big

- 18:53Speaker 1: Let you have your space. Yeah. Well, Margie's really good
- 18:58Speaker 1: at that too, because she tells them to Steve, Steve all,

- 21:10Speaker 1: wife again, right right right, yes, sir, you know came
- 21:13Speaker 1: over here three times in one week. My wife had
- 21:17Speaker 1: already went through the operation and all that she's gonna

- 21:22Speaker 1: times a week, because, honestly, I think it's something else
- 21:25Speaker 1: on your mind when you come over here praying for
- 21:27Speaker 1: my wife. I ain't stupid. Brother, kind of hold it, brother,
- 21:30Speaker 1: this brother, this is well. Your wife was on the
- 21:35Speaker 1: second shot in list. I never actually to come by
- 21:38Speaker 1: requested that I come by. Okay, he ain't requested for
- 21:42Speaker 1: you to bring your black to my house for no
- 21:44Speaker 1: three times in one week, man, So you can cut
- 21:47Speaker 1: that down with me. You couldn't hold it, brother. I
- 21:51Speaker 1: came with sister Georgia the first time. The second time
- 21:55Speaker 1: I came by myself because she wasn't able to come by,
- 21:58Speaker 1: and I only stayed fifteen men, he's time. So what's

- 22:15Speaker 1: in here trother house, my wife. Whine, whine, whine, nobody
- 22:18Speaker 1: at the house. I already know what you're doing. Let
- 22:19Speaker 1: me tell you something. Keep your black away from my house.
- 22:23Speaker 1: Did you want to pray for my wife and play
- 22:25Speaker 1: my wife? I'm gonna wait. You ain't wait, man, always,
- 22:29Speaker 1: you can't talk to you about lay hand. That's what
- 22:33Speaker 1: you're going now. Brother, Ain't gonna be none of that,
- 22:35Speaker 1: and ain't gonna be none of that. You're talking to
- 22:37Speaker 1: the wrong brother. Nine. Okay, Now, first of all, you're
- 22:40Speaker 1: not gonna disrespect me and curse me out. Okay, that's
- 22:45Speaker 1: not even the way brothers should be talking to brothers.
- 22:47Speaker 1: Second of all, if there's any laying on the hand,
- 22:50Speaker 1: it's gonna be my hand laying on you. Okay, you
- 22:53Speaker 1: ain't been the lady in the lady. I know you're

- 44:39Speaker 1: heard about me, you know, maybe heard my name before
- 44:42Speaker 1: because I used to day Tammy way before you guys
- 44:45Speaker 1: got married. Uh you know my name is, My name

- 45:03Speaker 1: talk to you, man. And I've been holding this back
- 45:06Speaker 1: at least four years. You know, I haven't said anything.
- 45:10Speaker 1: And you know I can't hold it no more. Man,
- 45:12Speaker 1: I'm going through so many issues right now. I just
- 45:15Speaker 1: gotta I gotta get this team. I gotta get this

- 45:20Speaker 1: you know, I wanted to come to you, man, to man,
- 45:22Speaker 1: talk to you about this situation. You know. I hate
- 45:25Speaker 1: to bring it to you like this, but when me
- 45:27Speaker 1: and Tammy were together, I don't even gonna say when
- 45:32Speaker 1: we were together, Tammy gave me a disease. Man. So
- 45:37Speaker 1: you know I've been holding this, you know, And I
- 45:40Speaker 1: gotta say I wanted to hit you up. I thought
- 45:42Speaker 1: about it two years ago. I wanted like, what do
- 45:47Speaker 1: you mean like she gave you a disease? She gave
- 45:50Speaker 1: me a disease about four plus years ago. This way
- 45:53Speaker 1: before y'all got married. I'm from understanding y'all been married
- 45:55Speaker 1: about three years right, Yeah, oh my god, Okay, okay,

- 46:09Speaker 1: are the medical bills and all this that's just completely
- 46:13Speaker 1: out of control. I can't even you know, I can't
- 46:15Speaker 1: take care of myself no more with this, you know,
- 46:17Speaker 1: and I don't feel like I have to because she
- 46:20Speaker 1: the one that gave me to day I'm to see. Okay,
- 46:23Speaker 1: So you're calling because you want you want me to
- 46:25Speaker 1: pay for you. You want you want us to pay
- 46:28Speaker 1: for your medical bills. The dude, I mean, damn, dude,

- 46:36Speaker 1: here with a disease somebody gave me, and you know
- 46:39Speaker 1: they're going on what they like. Boh yeah, but this
- 46:42Speaker 1: is so you're calling me telling me my wife gave
- 46:45Speaker 1: you a disease. First of all, she would have told
- 46:47Speaker 1: me that. Secondly, now you're telling me like I might
- 46:51Speaker 1: have some. You gotta be kidding me, Well, what did
- 46:55Speaker 1: she give you? What disease are you talking about? Man?
- 46:57Speaker 1: At this point, you know, I don't even want to disgusted,
- 47:00Speaker 1: I just want to get on board. Let's can we
- 47:02Speaker 1: get some kind of understanding with the medical fields that
- 47:05Speaker 1: I can't inside of control. Man, I'm not paying, Okay,

- 52:35Speaker 1: you here. It is the Strawberry Letter. Thanks neph subject,
- 52:39Speaker 1: will my man choose me for the holidays? Dear Stephen Shirley,
- 52:44Speaker 1: I am a thirty year old, beautiful and successful woman,
- 52:47Speaker 1: and I'm in love with a forty four year old,
- 52:50Speaker 1: well educated hunk that swept me off my feet when
- 52:55Speaker 1: I met him. He told me that he was seeing
- 52:57Speaker 1: someone in a long distance relationship, but I still started
- 53:00Speaker 1: dating this man despite the news. After six months of dating,
- 53:05Speaker 1: I did some research and found out that he proposed
- 53:07Speaker 1: to this woman and she has set a wedding date.
- 53:11Speaker 1: I never confronted him about it, but it tore me
- 53:14Speaker 1: apart emotionally. I figured if I started an argument about it,
- 53:17Speaker 1: I would push him away and his fiance would win,
- 53:21Speaker 1: so I have kept the news to myself. I'm trying
- 53:24Speaker 1: my best to make him fall in love with me
- 53:26Speaker 1: and leave her. I know the old saying if he
- 53:29Speaker 1: cheats on her, he'll cheat on you, But I believe
- 53:32Speaker 1: in love, and I know we have something special. The
- 53:36Speaker 1: loving is so good, and he takes me on some
- 53:39Speaker 1: amazing trips all across the world. We are always together
- 53:44Speaker 1: when he's not out of town visiting the other woman.
- 53:47Speaker 1: I am overly jealous, so I just need to know
- 53:50Speaker 1: how I can win him over before his fiance orders
- 53:54Speaker 1: the wedding invitations. The holidays are coming up and I
- 53:57Speaker 1: don't want to spend them without him, so time is
- 54:00Speaker 1: of the essence. How do I tell this man that
- 54:03Speaker 1: I am in love with him and will take any
- 54:06Speaker 1: and every risk when it comes to getting him to myself.
- 54:10Speaker 1: It's totally possible to be in love with two people
- 54:13Speaker 1: at the same time, so he's probably struggling internally with
- 54:18Speaker 1: who he should be with. Maybe if I tell his
- 54:21Speaker 1: fiance about our relationship, she will just break up with
- 54:24Speaker 1: him and go away. It may make him mad, but
- 54:29Speaker 1: in the end he will still have me, and I
- 54:32Speaker 1: know we can be happy together. I'm head over heels
- 54:35Speaker 1: for this man, and I'm planning to invite him to
- 54:38Speaker 1: Thanksgiving dinner so my family can meet him. How shall
- 54:41Speaker 1: I handle How should I handle this love triangle? Do
- 54:45Speaker 1: you hear yourself? Do you hear yourself, because listen closely.
- 54:52Speaker 1: This is this is the sound of desperation, all right,
- 54:57Speaker 1: this is the sound of delusion in the letter. So
- 55:00Speaker 1: I want you to hear yourself. You are so short
- 55:04Speaker 1: changing yourself in this relationship. You are number two. That's it,
- 55:09Speaker 1: that's all. You are the side piece. And uh, you're
- 55:13Speaker 1: okay with that. I think you're really okay with it
- 55:16Speaker 1: because he told you his status when you, guys, you know,
- 55:19Speaker 1: first got together. He told you he was in a
- 55:21Speaker 1: long distance relationship. You even researched it, you did your
- 55:24Speaker 1: research and your words. You still dated him despite the news.
- 55:30Speaker 1: You started dating him. And that's the problem. I mean, really,
- 55:34Speaker 1: what is his incentive to leave his fiance and get
- 55:37Speaker 1: with you number two? What is it? He's getting everything
- 55:41Speaker 1: from you without having to change a thing. He's doing
- 55:48Speaker 1: win win for him. He's got the best of both
- 55:51Speaker 1: worlds here. I mean the question then becomes, when are
- 55:54Speaker 1: you going to wake up and realize that if he
- 55:57Speaker 1: was going to leave her for you, don't you and
- 56:00Speaker 1: he would have waited to propose to her. I mean,
- 56:03Speaker 1: you know, you did all the research. You know, maybe
- 56:06Speaker 1: he would kind of see where the relationship could go
- 56:09Speaker 1: with you and him, or maybe that you would have
- 56:12Speaker 1: won him over by now you think it's a competition
- 56:15Speaker 1: between the fiance and you because you're you're willing to
- 56:18Speaker 1: take any and every risk to get him. You know,
- 56:21Speaker 1: I gotta tell you, please, don't bother inviting him to
- 56:24Speaker 1: dinner because you know where he's gonna be. He's gonna
- 56:26Speaker 1: be with his fiance and her family kicking it over
- 56:30Speaker 1: there for Thanksgiving because they're planning a wedding, they're getting married.
- 56:34Speaker 1: You are the side piece, all right, Steve, Well, I
- 56:39Speaker 1: don't know what Shirley's done a really excellent job with this.
- 56:43Speaker 1: All you can do is just get it worded in
- 56:45Speaker 1: a different way. So here we go. Well, my man,
- 56:48Speaker 1: choose me for the holiday. The answer to that question
- 56:52Speaker 1: is no. And the answer to that question no is
- 56:56Speaker 1: simply because number twos don't get holidays. You don't get Christmas,
- 57:02Speaker 1: you don't get Thanksgiving, you don't get Fourth of July barbeques.
- 57:06Speaker 1: Those are the holidays. You don't get the whole Valentine's date,
- 57:11Speaker 1: you can't get them days right there. You don't get anniversaries.
- 57:15Speaker 1: You don't get none of that because you will never
- 57:17Speaker 1: had an anniversary. Number two don't get anniversary dates. Number
- 57:21Speaker 1: one get anniversary dates. And you don't even have to
- 57:23Speaker 1: be married to your number one to have an anniversary
- 57:25Speaker 1: just the third year we've been knowing each other. You
- 57:27Speaker 1: don't do that. To the number twos, you don't go
- 57:30Speaker 1: we've been seeing each other for three years. Now, let's
- 57:33Speaker 1: go out and celebrate. No, there's no celebration. You don't
- 57:36Speaker 1: celebrate number twos. When I met him, he told me
- 57:41Speaker 1: he was seeing someone in a long distance relationship. Then
- 57:45Speaker 1: you know what you said right after that. But I
- 57:47Speaker 1: still dated this man despite the news. Okay, so you stupid. Oh,
- 57:53Speaker 1: you just did what you wanted to do. You dated
- 57:56Speaker 1: Demand anywhere. Demand told you I got somebody. It's a
- 58:01Speaker 1: long this relationship. I got somebody. You started dating the
- 58:05Speaker 1: man anyway. Then after some six months of dating, you
- 58:09Speaker 1: did some research and found out that he proposed to
- 58:12Speaker 1: this woman as she has set a waiting date. Okay,
- 58:18Speaker 1: what's the surprise. I never confronted him about it, but
- 58:22Speaker 1: it told me a party Emotionally, I figured if I
- 58:25Speaker 1: started an argument about it, I pushed him away and
- 58:27Speaker 1: this fiance will win. The fiance is already went in.
- 58:32Speaker 1: She the fiance six months in, you found out they
- 58:37Speaker 1: set a dating for a wed He asked her, she
- 58:42Speaker 1: just put this date on Facebook. He asked the woman
- 58:45Speaker 1: to marry him. Has he asked you? Has he mentioned
- 58:51Speaker 1: marriage to you? He said nothing? By no, damn family
- 58:55Speaker 1: with you. Stupid letter make me sick? Ten to tell
- 59:02Speaker 1: after this shut up costing you're listening show? All right, Steve,
- 59:08Speaker 1: come on, Let's recap today's strawberry letters. Subject well, my
- 59:11Speaker 1: man choose me for the holidays? This woman to met
- 59:15Speaker 1: she thirty, She met just for the year old, well
- 59:17Speaker 1: for the four year old, well educated hunk swept you
- 59:19Speaker 1: off your feet when you met him. He told me
- 59:22Speaker 1: he was seeing somebody. You still dated the man. Bam.
- 59:25Speaker 1: Six months later you I did some research that's social media,
- 59:29Speaker 1: found out that he proposed to this woman. She even
- 59:31Speaker 1: set a wedding day. You ain't never saying nothing to
- 59:34Speaker 1: him about the man. Figure if you started argument and
- 59:36Speaker 1: push him away. Now you want to know in the
- 59:38Speaker 1: letter where my man choose me for the holidays. I'm
- 59:41Speaker 1: telling you know because number twos don't get holidays. Holidays
- 59:45Speaker 1: a reserved for number one. You can't be number two
- 59:50Speaker 1: and get a holiday. You can get some Fridays get
- 59:55Speaker 1: sad to hearing that. Wait, what is that? What do
- 59:58Speaker 1: they get, Steve? You can get some Fridays and occasional Saturday,
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: but that's it. Usually it's the same day of the
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: week that he then told his wife or number one
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: that he does a certain thing on a certain night,
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: and that turns that night into YO night. I play
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: poking with the boys on Tuesday nights and i'd be
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: home late. Then that night is YO night. You don't
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: get any night you want. Now here's a delusional part,
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: like Shirley say, I'm trying my best to make him
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: fall in love with me and leave her. What Let
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: me ask something, how do you do that? How as
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: the number two do you make the man fall in
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: love with you and leave the number one? I know
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: the old thing. If he cheats on her here cheat
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: on you? That ain't got nothing to do with this. No,
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: he's cheating on her with you. You the you tell
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: my head cheat on you? Know? You to you, but
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: I believe in love. Stop it. You just say you
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: believe in love. He's marrying a woman, and I know
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: we have something special. You all this is in your mind.
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: You have nothing special. Your number two two's ain't special.
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: Ain't two A and all this here? If they ain't
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: no two A two plus? This ain't a seat an
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: economy that's ain't it economy super with entry leg room.
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: You're still in the back economy plus. You're still in
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: the back. But his my ligal room is still good.
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: But you in the back though, you're not the first
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: class seat and you can't come up here with the
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: economy plus ticket. Can sit on the eggs it wrong.
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: Get you a little bit astra if that's what you want,
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: But look at as a lot of people on the
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: eggit row. The loving is so good, and he takes
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: me on amazing trips all across the world. You'd have
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: been to the Bahamas? Who ain't been there? Sound bigger
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: than it is? Hers across the world? Stop, San Diego.
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: Ain't all across the world. Then here's another line. We
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: are always together when he's not out of town. Hello,
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: do you understand this? You're always together when he's not
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: out of town. You just said he take you all
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: around the world, Carol, when are you out of town?
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: He would hull You ain't been nowhere? Fly to Atlanta.
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: Ain't across the world When he's not out of town
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: visiting the other woman. I'm overly jealous, so I just
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: need to know how can I win him over before
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: his fiance orders to win the way Too late for that. They'
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: the second day. They aren't putting money down on places,
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: she brent dress shopping. Damn these invitations. The holidays are
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: coming up and I don't want to spend them without him.
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: You are, this is your first holiday. It's only been
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: six months. You've never been to the holidays before. You're
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: spending those holidays alone. You're number two. It's only been
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: six months. Hell, it's November, so you met him prior
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: to the summer. You're not. They don't get holidays, sweetie.
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: I'm sorry, and I don't want to spend them without him.
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: So time is of the essence. Girl. Yeah, but they
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: said nothing to you about Thanksgiving. Yeah, because he ain't
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: gonna feel he he cast to go out of town.
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: They gonna tell his fiance I ain't coming to wonder
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: what did you find to do? Then? How do I
- 1:03:53Speaker 1: tell this man that I'm in love with him and
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: will take every risk of cans to getting him to myself.
- 1:03:59Speaker 1: You've already taken and the risk. The man told you
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: was in a relationship, and you dated him anyway, you
- 1:04:04Speaker 1: took the risk. You've taken all the risks. Now then
- 1:04:09Speaker 1: you go right here. It's possible to be in love
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: with two people at the same time. So I know
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: he's probably struggling internally with who he should be with
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: little girl. The struggle isn't with who she should be with.
- 1:04:22Speaker 1: The struggle is how to tell you he's with her
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: and finning getting married. Remember that he has not told
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: you this for a reason, because the only struggle is
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: when and how to tell you this is over. Because
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: I'm finn to move this woman in my house. That's
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: the struggle to struggle, Am. But you love sister, pack
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: you bags of He ain't coming over for Thanksgiving, and
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: do not call that woman because you could get shot.
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: All right, those are my closing remarks today, y'all have
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: a great weekend. All right. You can post your I'm
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: a son Today's Strawberry Letter. It's Steve Harvey FM on
- 1:05:02Speaker 1: Instagram and Facebook, and please don't forget to check out
- 1:05:05Speaker 1: the Strawberry Letter podcast on demand now coming up at
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: forty six after the hour. I think Steve had more
- 1:05:11Speaker 1: to add to this strawberry letter, write Steve, We're gonna
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: do a little bit more. Yeah, let's this. You're listening
- 1:05:19Speaker 1: this morning show? All right, Steve, you said you had
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: some more to add to the strawberry letter subject, will
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: my man choose me for the holidays? For thold of
- 1:05:28Speaker 1: you that don't know, this girl is thirty years old
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: dating this forty four year old man swept off his
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: feet day He told her on day one he's in
- 1:05:36Speaker 1: seeing someone in a long dist relationship. But you dated
- 1:05:40Speaker 1: this man anyway despite the news or six months of dating.
- 1:05:44Speaker 1: Did some research? Found out the woman has set a
- 1:05:46Speaker 1: wedding date with he proposed to this woman. Now, this
- 1:05:49Speaker 1: girl who wrote the letter hasn't said anything to him
- 1:05:52Speaker 1: about it, but she's torn up. She's scared to start
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: argument because it'll push him away and his fiance will win.
- 1:05:59Speaker 1: So she's kept a new us to the same to
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: kept it all to himself. She's trying to figure out
- 1:06:04Speaker 1: the best way to make this man fall in love
- 1:06:06Speaker 1: with her and he leave her. I know the old saying,
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: if he cheats on her, here cheat on you. But
- 1:06:12Speaker 1: I believe in love. Now that she's talking about the man,
- 1:06:14Speaker 1: take on some amazing trips all across the world. The
- 1:06:17Speaker 1: girl had been in San Diego and now she been
- 1:06:19Speaker 1: all around the world. San Diego it's just close to Mexico.
- 1:06:23Speaker 1: You then you saw the signe, but you didn't actually
- 1:06:27Speaker 1: go to t your wanna. He don't want to go there,
- 1:06:29Speaker 1: No damn way, coach, it's crazy. Now anyway, how do
- 1:06:33Speaker 1: I wear him over before the fiance orders to wed
- 1:06:36Speaker 1: an invitation? Holidays is coming up. I don't want to
- 1:06:39Speaker 1: spend him with him, so times of the elsen. How
- 1:06:41Speaker 1: do I tell this man I'm in love with him
- 1:06:43Speaker 1: and would take every risk into getting him to myself.
- 1:06:46Speaker 1: Told the possible. Well, now he's probably struggling with who
- 1:06:49Speaker 1: he should be with. Then here was the line the
- 1:06:51Speaker 1: girl said, maybe if I tell his fiance about our relationship,
- 1:06:55Speaker 1: she would just break up with him and go away.
- 1:06:58Speaker 1: It may make him mad, but in the end end
- 1:07:00Speaker 1: he will still have me, and I know we can
- 1:07:02Speaker 1: be happy together. Pump your brakes, little girl. You've obviously
- 1:07:07Speaker 1: never gone to a woman to tell her that you
- 1:07:10Speaker 1: are the other woman. H They do get mad, and
- 1:07:14Speaker 1: it do mess the dude up with his girl for
- 1:07:17Speaker 1: a while, but they usually recover. Now he is going
- 1:07:20Speaker 1: to hate you for the rest of your life, and
- 1:07:24Speaker 1: you will have no relationship with him, none whatsoever. And
- 1:07:30Speaker 1: it is dumed so long as you know that, good luck.
- 1:07:34Speaker 1: I'm planning on inviting him to Thanksgiving. Don't do that.
- 1:07:38Speaker 1: That man can't don't do that. And when I m
- 1:07:46Speaker 1: Turkey over there by yourself, they're gonna have a place
- 1:07:48Speaker 1: sitting with somebody. Ass ain't gonna be there. And baby,
- 1:07:53Speaker 1: and when thanks Giving up Thanksgiving? Thanksgiving it to the moment,
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: I can't have Thanksgiving. He said nothing to you about
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: thank you. I like my Thanksgiving on Thanksgi all right, listen,
- 1:08:16Speaker 1: coming up, we're gonna talk about breaking up. It's all
- 1:08:19Speaker 1: ties in together. We'll do that right after this. You're
- 1:08:25Speaker 1: listening show, all right, last day to break up. Some
- 1:08:32Speaker 1: say if you do not break up with your significant
- 1:08:35Speaker 1: other today, you are stuck with that significant other until
- 1:08:39Speaker 1: around Martin lu Okay, you can get out right now.
- 1:08:45Speaker 1: You need to get out today. Well, you should have
- 1:08:48Speaker 1: been out. You should have been out. You should have Halloween.

- 1:09:03Speaker 1: If you can't ask you guys. This first of all,
- 1:09:08Speaker 1: this is the best way to break up. Baby, we're
- 1:09:10Speaker 1: breaking up, boot I told you it was scary walk
- 1:09:16Speaker 1: away out that dope, But now it's so, what's the
- 1:09:23Speaker 1: What are you all breaking up for? Though? I need
- 1:09:25Speaker 1: to gifts? You got about gifts? You gotta you know
- 1:09:30Speaker 1: relative you don't want that, but you stud intim you
- 1:09:37Speaker 1: want something. You know it's bad and holiday everybody want
- 1:09:40Speaker 1: to be held. They want somebody to hold, yeah, and
- 1:09:42Speaker 1: cuddle the fire and stuff. Yeah, it's really hard to
- 1:09:48Speaker 1: be at somebody's house that you want to break up
- 1:09:50Speaker 1: with and they family. Yeah, it's so good and they
- 1:09:55Speaker 1: like you and like you. Right, you want some power,
- 1:10:00Speaker 1: don't even I don't want to say bye bye. That's
- 1:10:02Speaker 1: what I want to say. Not want to say bye bye.
- 1:10:06Speaker 1: And bickups pick ups to all the married dudes that
- 1:10:09Speaker 1: still go by the girl house and visit with the
- 1:10:11Speaker 1: yes up to them. Wait, wait, why are you crazy?
- 1:10:17Speaker 1: For real? I mean they need tips, Timmy, What they
- 1:10:20Speaker 1: need is tips. I got a tip. I got one tip.
- 1:10:26Speaker 1: Year's a tip. You gonna go over there and she
- 1:10:29Speaker 1: gonna have a plate for you on tig leg all
- 1:10:33Speaker 1: everything you as soon as you get in the car
- 1:10:36Speaker 1: and you drive pass out. You throw that damn plate
- 1:10:40Speaker 1: out the window, right on the highway, on the freeway.
- 1:10:46Speaker 1: Gotta be on the freeway. Gotta be. I have a question.
- 1:10:49Speaker 1: I have a question. If you're going over to the
- 1:10:53Speaker 1: number two's house, thanks give it. What time do you
- 1:10:58Speaker 1: go over there? Oh? But Steve, when you run to
- 1:11:05Speaker 1: the stove, that's part of your run to the stove. Yeah,
- 1:11:09Speaker 1: and you've got to come over there like you in
- 1:11:11Speaker 1: a hurry to lead. See he's going on there. But
- 1:11:14Speaker 1: how y'all doing? What's heading to? Wait? Yeah, ain't nothing done,
- 1:11:18Speaker 1: Ain't nothing done yet, ain't nothing ready. It's nine thirty
- 1:11:22Speaker 1: in the morning. We just yea looking. I'm gonna be
- 1:11:24Speaker 1: right back. I just can't. I just can't want to
- 1:11:26Speaker 1: stick my head and do say hate anybody that bay.
- 1:11:30Speaker 1: I think some more optimal. I think another option too.
- 1:11:34Speaker 1: I agree fellas earlier. Here's another thought. Half time or
- 1:11:41Speaker 1: the football game. That's a good time too. Yeah, Yes,
- 1:11:45Speaker 1: that's about because you can get out your house clean. Yeah,
- 1:11:50Speaker 1: and how is that? How's that? I'm trying to figure
- 1:11:53Speaker 1: this out. Yeah, we'll see the stove to get some
- 1:11:57Speaker 1: liquor and liquor store is opening deep in the hood. Yeah,
- 1:12:03Speaker 1: but she can't stay that far. You know your two
- 1:12:06Speaker 1: got to be two miles away though. You got to
- 1:12:08Speaker 1: know you can't put You are gotta take ten minutes
- 1:12:18Speaker 1: to get there. See what you ladies that don't understand
- 1:12:21Speaker 1: twols are not always women. Sometimes the two is a
- 1:12:24Speaker 1: man and it's dealt with different. She'll just call you
- 1:12:27Speaker 1: on the phone. I don't need you to bring ass
- 1:12:29Speaker 1: over here today. Okay. You mean her approach with it, bro,
- 1:12:39Speaker 1: because women are such better cheaters. Yeah, because she got
- 1:12:43Speaker 1: something else going on herself. Straight up? All right, we'll
- 1:12:49Speaker 1: be back with more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show
- 1:12:52Speaker 1: right after this. You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show Jamely
- 1:12:59Speaker 1: Brown for the Steve Having One a Show. The question is,
- 1:13:02Speaker 1: who's the person in your family or in your life
- 1:13:05Speaker 1: does always borrowed money? My sister, she owes your money
- 1:13:08Speaker 1: right now? How much? I'm not even gonna say, my son,
- 1:13:12Speaker 1: my cousins, my cousin as well, my sister. But a giveaway.
- 1:13:15Speaker 1: You don't even look for it back. No, no, Also,
- 1:13:18Speaker 1: my brother begging Billy if you could get the money
- 1:13:22Speaker 1: back that your brother owes you right now? How much
- 1:13:24Speaker 1: would it be? Hundreds of dollars? Hundreds of dollars, thousands
- 1:13:28Speaker 1: of dollars? I jam around with the Steve, I haven't
- 1:13:31Speaker 1: mond the show. Who's the person in your family that's
- 1:13:33Speaker 1: always borrowing money? Her answer is, you know what, it's
- 1:13:40Speaker 1: not borroed I but I don't give it back. It's
- 1:13:42Speaker 1: not my sister. If she paid you back right now,
- 1:13:50Speaker 1: how much would it be? Who was the ten thousand
- 1:13:53Speaker 1: dollars from my dad? Does he owe your money right now? No?
- 1:13:58Speaker 1: Actually doesn't my sister. If she paid you back right now?
- 1:14:02Speaker 1: How much would it be? Through? Four hundred dollars? One
- 1:14:06Speaker 1: of my uncles? How much does he owe you right now?
- 1:14:10Speaker 1: Probably a couple of hundred. Do you think you'll ever
- 1:14:12Speaker 1: see that money? No? He never pays his bets back. Me.
- 1:14:18Speaker 1: You owe your sister money? Yeah, you paid her back.
- 1:14:21Speaker 1: How much would it be now? Five hundred? I'm pretty good?
- 1:14:25Speaker 1: Pretty good? David Brown for the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:14:28Speaker 1: Who's the person in your family is always borrowing money?
- 1:14:32Speaker 1: It's Stiles, Steve Harvey. Steve didn't borrow no money from you?
- 1:14:36Speaker 1: The money from me? How much as hell? You're right now?
- 1:14:39Speaker 1: A lot of money because I said, this suit never
- 1:14:41Speaker 1: come favorite for you're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, Steve,
- 1:14:49Speaker 1: who's the house guest or a person coming by for
- 1:14:52Speaker 1: Thanksgiving that you're not looking forward to? Sing? Who is it?
- 1:14:55Speaker 1: My mother in law's sister's husband? What? Who was that? Though?
- 1:15:02Speaker 1: I don't even know it's earnest? Why I watched him
- 1:15:07Speaker 1: the whole time here? Yeah, your mother in laws a dream.
- 1:15:10Speaker 1: I love her, We love her man, my mother in law,
- 1:15:14Speaker 1: my father in law is that bad? Mom and daddy?
- 1:15:16Speaker 1: I got the best. I never had a complaint. Man,
- 1:15:19Speaker 1: we're happy. We enjoy each other. They can't stay in
- 1:15:21Speaker 1: my house as long as they were. Ye, I love him.
- 1:15:23Speaker 1: But her sister husband, I don't know, that's what that's
- 1:15:28Speaker 1: what's wrong. I don't know. We was having a prayer
- 1:15:32Speaker 1: one time, but mom in law said, let's all whole hands,
- 1:15:35Speaker 1: you know, a huge kitchen. Yeah, about twenty people. Everybody
- 1:15:39Speaker 1: go around and say what they think, yes, okay, naw,
- 1:15:42Speaker 1: I ain't like this here because there's too many people.
- 1:15:45Speaker 1: And I didn't know half the people that was in
- 1:15:47Speaker 1: the circle. So and I really don't care what you're
- 1:15:50Speaker 1: grateful for because dinner is ready. And it got around
- 1:15:54Speaker 1: to everybody, and this one lady took a long time,
- 1:15:57Speaker 1: but hers what's the best. So I I broke from
- 1:16:00Speaker 1: the circle and started clapping because I wanted to try
- 1:16:03Speaker 1: to end it with applause. Right, And I'm holding this
- 1:16:06Speaker 1: dude's hand. Now, I don't know nothing wrong with him
- 1:16:10Speaker 1: until it got to him and he started telling about
- 1:16:13Speaker 1: what he was grateful fault. He said, I'm grateful for
- 1:16:16Speaker 1: the weather and that we had the jacket's home, and
- 1:16:22Speaker 1: that the fact that you know, everything at the grocery
- 1:16:26Speaker 1: store is fresh, and that we can go go by there.
- 1:16:30Speaker 1: And I think I thank him for my cars too,
- 1:16:34Speaker 1: that come on in the morning and take her safe.
- 1:16:38Speaker 1: Now I'm sitting now, I'm looking upside his head, but
- 1:16:42Speaker 1: my whole body trimming because everybody got their head down
- 1:16:45Speaker 1: except Winting, which is looking up getting full blown hollow
- 1:16:50Speaker 1: motive at me face to k I'm over here, my
- 1:16:59Speaker 1: whole body shaking. I'm laughing so hard, trying not to
- 1:17:03Speaker 1: blurt it out. He gives my mother in law. She
- 1:17:07Speaker 1: holding my hand on the other side. She squeezes my
- 1:17:09Speaker 1: hand to try to help me through it. That ain't
- 1:17:11Speaker 1: stopping nothing I got. Who is this man? Then my
- 1:17:16Speaker 1: other son, Steve, he opens his eyes and he starts
- 1:17:19Speaker 1: snickering my sons, Me and my sons is in hollow mode.
- 1:17:24Speaker 1: Harvey boys, this to us, yil, and I've given him
- 1:17:29Speaker 1: full permission that laughing stuff like that. So I looked
- 1:17:34Speaker 1: over to the left of the circle and my wife
- 1:17:36Speaker 1: is glaring at me too, a little green eyes. I'm
- 1:17:39Speaker 1: talking about glaring. You don't squitt if you don't pull
- 1:17:45Speaker 1: it together like when she said that. And then I
- 1:17:49Speaker 1: thank the Lord. I gotta tune up the other day, right,
- 1:17:54Speaker 1: Steve coming up closing remarks right after this. You're listening, Steve.
- 1:18:02Speaker 1: Here we are last break of the day. Guys. It's
- 1:18:04Speaker 1: been a pretty fun, crazy, crazy ignorant day on this
- 1:18:08Speaker 1: Crazy Ignorant show. A lot of fun today. But Steve,
- 1:18:12Speaker 1: now it's time to get a little serious. And I
- 1:18:17Speaker 1: just want to encourage people to do something really really
- 1:18:19Speaker 1: simple today. And I think this is something that most
- 1:18:23Speaker 1: people would agree to want. It's really this simple. Everybody
- 1:18:31Speaker 1: should want more for your life. I'm talking about your
- 1:18:35Speaker 1: life right there, the one that you have. You should
- 1:18:39Speaker 1: want more for your life. You should never allow yourself
- 1:18:43Speaker 1: to become complacent. Now, I want you to understand something.
- 1:18:47Speaker 1: Some people get complacency confuse with they don't want to
- 1:18:53Speaker 1: seem ungrateful. Once again, some people get complacent and see
- 1:19:00Speaker 1: confused with not wanting to appear ungrateful. Well, I don't
- 1:19:05Speaker 1: want to keep asking God for nothing because I don't
- 1:19:07Speaker 1: want him to think I ain't grateful for what I have.
- 1:19:10Speaker 1: Well thanking for it. Then that's really simple. Simply thank
- 1:19:14Speaker 1: God for what you have. That's the gratitude. But then
- 1:19:20Speaker 1: it's still okay to want more for your life. Here's
- 1:19:25Speaker 1: the good news. God actually wants you to have more
- 1:19:30Speaker 1: for your life. God is really looking for people to
- 1:19:33Speaker 1: show off. He really is. I happen to raise my
- 1:19:37Speaker 1: hand all the time in volunteer I do. I just
- 1:19:41Speaker 1: say God, pick me, come on, do me, use me
- 1:19:47Speaker 1: show me. Now, that doesn't mean I'm perfect. I'm far
- 1:19:51Speaker 1: from it. But I do want God's blessings to be
- 1:19:56Speaker 1: able to flow through me. So I keep an open
- 1:19:59Speaker 1: channel in my life for that stuff to flow through.
- 1:20:02Speaker 1: First of all, I want more, that's the beginning of
- 1:20:06Speaker 1: getting it. Then I have the good sense to ask
- 1:20:10Speaker 1: Him for more. You have not because you ask not. Well,
- 1:20:14Speaker 1: I happen to be a big asker of stuff. So
- 1:20:23Speaker 1: now I want more, I ask for more. Now here's
- 1:20:26Speaker 1: the trick to asking for more and wanting more. You
- 1:20:31Speaker 1: have got to be willing to do more. Oh, now
- 1:20:37Speaker 1: you gotta do more. Now, that's the one thing that
- 1:20:44Speaker 1: stops so many people from having and wanting more for
- 1:20:50Speaker 1: their life. If God will give you blessings and God
- 1:20:56Speaker 1: will increase your measure in life, if God comes to
- 1:21:01Speaker 1: give you life and give you life more abundantly, if
- 1:21:05Speaker 1: He's promised to do that for you, and what you
- 1:21:09Speaker 1: have to do in return is you have to be
- 1:21:11Speaker 1: willing to do more. See you, you can't get more
- 1:21:16Speaker 1: without doing more. Convenience is built through inconvenience. You can
- 1:21:21Speaker 1: stop warning what you see everybody else with and you
- 1:21:24Speaker 1: ain't willing to do what everybody else did to get it?
- 1:21:28Speaker 1: Quick look at it Oprah's pile over there. If you
- 1:21:30Speaker 1: ain't willing to do what Oprah did, which Tom an
- 1:21:33Speaker 1: average person is not because the average person wants to
- 1:21:36Speaker 1: be comfortable, and you can't be successful and stay comfortable.
- 1:21:42Speaker 1: I was interviewing the wrestler on my show yesterday day.
- 1:21:45Speaker 1: But teach a great story man. This camp was really
- 1:21:48Speaker 1: out of it, really really fascinating story he had. And
- 1:21:54Speaker 1: we were talking and he was talking about living outside
- 1:21:58Speaker 1: your comfort zone. And I told him one of the
- 1:22:00Speaker 1: things that I've had to learn how to do in
- 1:22:03Speaker 1: order to become successful is I've had to become comfortable
- 1:22:08Speaker 1: with being uncomfortable. He said, wow, Wow, that's a great
- 1:22:13Speaker 1: way to put us. Do I have learned how to
- 1:22:18Speaker 1: be comfortable while I'm uncomfortable, Because in order to get successful,
- 1:22:26Speaker 1: you have to be uncomfortable. You have to do things
- 1:22:31Speaker 1: that you don't feel like doing all the time. You
- 1:22:34Speaker 1: have to show up when you don't want to show up.
- 1:22:37Speaker 1: You have to be there when you feel like being
- 1:22:38Speaker 1: somewhere else. You have to say yes a lot of
- 1:22:43Speaker 1: times when you really want to just say no. That's
- 1:22:48Speaker 1: where you're at, man, that's how you become successful. But
- 1:22:53Speaker 1: you can't keep asking God for more and you ain't
- 1:22:55Speaker 1: willing to do more. It doesn't make any sense. It
- 1:23:00Speaker 1: cannot happen that way, folks. So come on, I want
- 1:23:06Speaker 1: you to want more for your life. But there's a
- 1:23:09Speaker 1: scripture that that bags that up too. It said to
- 1:23:13Speaker 1: whom much is given, much is required. Now, if you
- 1:23:20Speaker 1: don't want the requirements, then he gonna have to pull
- 1:23:24Speaker 1: up on a given. But if you want the given,
- 1:23:32Speaker 1: know that here come the requirements. So one more time,
- 1:23:37Speaker 1: if you don't want the requirements, he gonna have to
- 1:23:41Speaker 1: pull up on a given. Do not be the one
- 1:23:46Speaker 1: who blocks your own blessings. Want more for your life
- 1:23:51Speaker 1: and be willing to do the things to accept and
- 1:23:55Speaker 1: receive more. It's just discipline. It's just some more work.
- 1:24:00Speaker 1: But if you just cut out some of the bs, man, Man,
- 1:24:05Speaker 1: just cut out some of the happy hours, just cut
- 1:24:08Speaker 1: out some of the drinking. You can't smoke one every
- 1:24:11Speaker 1: day though, you can't go to all the clubs. So man,
- 1:24:17Speaker 1: you're just gonna run all the women that that's that's that's,
- 1:24:21Speaker 1: that's what you're gonna do all of them. I got
- 1:24:25Speaker 1: news for you, Man, can't be successful that way. You
- 1:24:28Speaker 1: can't drop it now. For all Steve every contests, no
