- 2:02Speaker 1: I sure will. Good morning everybody. You're listening to the voice,
- 2:07Speaker 1: Come on now, dig me want and only Steve Harvey
- 2:12Speaker 1: got what radio show man? What you're doing with it?
- 2:17Speaker 1: Trying to do the very very best I can with it?
- 2:20Speaker 1: I really am. You know, I get tired sometimes on
- 2:23Speaker 1: my journey. I'm not gonna kid you. UM. Trying to
- 2:28Speaker 1: make something about yourself is a task. UM. If you
- 2:34Speaker 1: want to attempt to do something and and and understand
- 2:38Speaker 1: going in that that. If the thing you're trying to
- 2:43Speaker 1: do is to improve yourself, to better your position, to
- 2:48Speaker 1: better your relationship, your family, anything, you're trying to be
- 2:52Speaker 1: a better you. You're trying to make more money, you're
- 2:57Speaker 1: trying to get it together, you're trying to change if
- 3:01Speaker 1: any of those things are in your hopes and dreams.
- 3:06Speaker 1: Know this right here, you are about to face some challenges.
- 3:12Speaker 1: But you might as well go ahead anyway and face
- 3:16Speaker 1: those challenges, because if you don't, you have a whole
- 3:20Speaker 1: other set of challenges to face. You know. It's a
- 3:23Speaker 1: it's a it's an amazing thing. Man, How people sit
- 3:26Speaker 1: around and they watch other people strike out to become successful.
- 3:31Speaker 1: They sit in the stands watching these people play out
- 3:34Speaker 1: these games, and they and they and they criticize, They boo,
- 3:38Speaker 1: they laugh at their efforts and everything, and they talk
- 3:42Speaker 1: about the fairies. He missed that game when it shot. Boy,
- 3:45Speaker 1: he sucked. Man, he did this. He ain't worth that.
- 3:48Speaker 1: I hear people who sit and stands who criticize people
- 3:55Speaker 1: who are out there on the playing field. Now, when
- 3:59Speaker 1: you're on the playing field, you have a set of
- 4:03Speaker 1: challenges in front of you. You're going to be open
- 4:05Speaker 1: to criticism. You're going to be open to ridicule. You're
- 4:10Speaker 1: going to be talked about when you don't know the
- 4:12Speaker 1: people who are talking about you. Now here's the upside
- 4:20Speaker 1: to being the player on the field that's facing all
- 4:24Speaker 1: the challenges, to criticisms, the laughing, the joke, to being
- 4:28Speaker 1: talked about. He has something going for him. This person, boy, woman, child, girl,
- 4:37Speaker 1: man has an opportunity to win. They have an opportunity
- 4:44Speaker 1: to win. And then the game of life. Just because
- 4:49Speaker 1: you lose one of the games, or you lose one
- 4:52Speaker 1: of the matches, it don't mean you've lost. You don't
- 4:56Speaker 1: get put out. You keep playing. And when you're playing,
- 5:02Speaker 1: here's the upside. You have the opportunity to win. And
- 5:05Speaker 1: but guess what, You're gonna win some of the matches.
- 5:08Speaker 1: You're gonna win some of the points. You're gonna make
- 5:10Speaker 1: some of the dunks. You're gonna hit some of them
- 5:12Speaker 1: over the wall. You're gonna hit some of them out
- 5:14Speaker 1: the park. You're gonna score some goals. You will if
- 5:18Speaker 1: you're playing the game. Here's the problem with the people
- 5:23Speaker 1: who don't face criticism, who nobody boos or cheers for,
- 5:29Speaker 1: who sits in the stands and knows neither victory nor defeat.
- 5:36Speaker 1: Those people, without realizing it, are facing a set of
- 5:41Speaker 1: challenges also. And the challenges they're facing is how I'm
- 5:46Speaker 1: gonna live with myself? What I'm gonna do? Now? What
- 5:53Speaker 1: direction am I going in? Where am I gonna live?
- 6:00Speaker 1: Wonder what job will hire me? Wonder if I can
- 6:06Speaker 1: get paid for criticize. Oh woe is me. I can't
- 6:13Speaker 1: find the purpose in my life. And man, I'm just
- 6:17Speaker 1: waking up in a state of confusion. I don't know
- 6:19Speaker 1: what to do. Now, let me ask you something which
- 6:24Speaker 1: one of them said, of challenges you rather be faced with.
- 6:27Speaker 1: Because if I'm on the flow playing, if I'm on
- 6:30Speaker 1: the field playing, if I'm out on the court playing,
- 6:34Speaker 1: then guess what I got a chance at winning? But
- 6:37Speaker 1: guess what I'm doing every day while I'm playing. I'm strategizing.
- 6:41Speaker 1: I'm waking up with a purpose. I'm waking up trying
- 6:44Speaker 1: to come up with another angle. I'm in pursuit of
- 6:49Speaker 1: a goal every single day, versus the people in the
- 6:55Speaker 1: stands who know neither victor nor defeat. Get in the game.
- 7:06Speaker 1: Face the challenges. Better yourself, better your wife, better your children,
- 7:11Speaker 1: better your condition, better your employment status, better your job,
- 7:14Speaker 1: better your career. Take a shot. Come on, man, what
- 7:17Speaker 1: you're waiting on? Because the alternative is to watch other
- 7:21Speaker 1: people play the game? You know what I just do?
- 7:25Speaker 1: Sometimes Sometimes I just I get Forbes magazine or Money magazine,
- 7:30Speaker 1: or sometimes I still grab a copy of rob Report.
- 7:34Speaker 1: I just flipped through it just to see. I used
- 7:37Speaker 1: to get these this book called Unique Homes. Unique Homes
- 7:41Speaker 1: is a magazine that just has a lot of extravagant
- 7:44Speaker 1: houses that's on sale across the country, across the world.
- 7:47Speaker 1: I used to flip through. Man, let me just see, man,
- 7:51Speaker 1: what the people that's playing the game out there doing.
- 7:54Speaker 1: Stop watching other people become successful when you could very
- 7:58Speaker 1: easily be you if you make the decision. But when
- 8:02Speaker 1: you make the decision to become successful, get ready for
- 8:05Speaker 1: a series of challenges. I think it's more difficult not
- 8:09Speaker 1: to accept the challenge. I think it's for me. This
- 8:14Speaker 1: is just for me. It may not be the case
- 8:15Speaker 1: for you. For me, I think it's far more difficult
- 8:18Speaker 1: to wake up and just see how life gonna go today, because, man,
- 8:21Speaker 1: it could just deal you any kind of hand today.
- 8:25Speaker 1: You understand, I don't like, you know, spades. Let's talk
- 8:31Speaker 1: a card game, folks, the game of spades. Really, man,
- 8:34Speaker 1: it ain't a whole lot you can do if you
- 8:36Speaker 1: don't get no spades. Really, it's a little couple of
- 8:39Speaker 1: little strategies you've gotta do. But you can have all
- 8:42Speaker 1: this age, King, queen diamond all you want. But man,
- 8:44Speaker 1: you ain't got no spades. They're cutting them. You're in trouble.
- 8:48Speaker 1: Be it whist different game. You can create what's in
- 8:52Speaker 1: your hand. You got dealt a hand too, But you
- 8:55Speaker 1: can create a hand. You can call a trump. You
- 8:58Speaker 1: can make diamond your spades. You can make it hard
- 9:01Speaker 1: to clubs your spades. That's what I'm saying. That's what
- 9:04Speaker 1: it is. You can do something with it. It's a
- 9:06Speaker 1: different game, man. You can strategize. I would rather have
- 9:09Speaker 1: a say so in my life than to wake up
- 9:12Speaker 1: every day and just see how it's going. I think
- 9:14Speaker 1: it's more difficult to not accept the challenge to be
- 9:17Speaker 1: something than it is to accept the challenge to be something.
- 9:21Speaker 1: I think it's more difficult to sit around and not
- 9:23Speaker 1: be nothing. I think it's harder to watch everybody's life
- 9:27Speaker 1: going somewhere but mine. I think it would be very
- 9:29Speaker 1: difficult for me to sit here and hear them talking
- 9:32Speaker 1: about other people and never mention my name. I would
- 9:35Speaker 1: be difficult for me to see everybody rise and getting
- 9:37Speaker 1: promotions accept me. That would be difficult for me. It
- 9:41Speaker 1: may not be for you, but for me it would
- 9:43Speaker 1: be quite challenging. I would rather accept the challenge of
- 9:47Speaker 1: making something out of my life than to sit there
- 9:50Speaker 1: and criticize those and then watch and see how my
- 9:53Speaker 1: life just may go. Okay, just a thought today. You're listening, ladies, gentlemen,
- 10:03Speaker 1: let me have it. You're undivided. It's attention. It's all
- 10:07Speaker 1: I need. Very needy when it comes to attention on
- 10:11Speaker 1: this show, because we want it home, undivided, uninterrupted, unaccounted
- 10:19Speaker 1: for overall, just serious accountability of your time. Steve Harvey
- 10:25Speaker 1: Morning Show, Owned and Cracking. Shirley Strawberry, Hey, good morning, Steve.
- 10:35Speaker 1: How are you today? Colin Farrell, Good morning? What's up? Crew?
- 10:41Speaker 1: EM's up? Josian Morning. I'm the best mentor I've ever had,
- 10:46Speaker 1: will continue to be so, sir, as long as you
- 10:49Speaker 1: like it and the food. I am here in the
- 10:55Speaker 1: build a baby, but I do. Yeah. Well, it's a
- 10:59Speaker 1: two man race. We're down to Biden and h Sanders
- 11:04Speaker 1: Sanders and uh well yeah, that's where it all to being.
- 11:10Speaker 1: Should have been that way from the beginning. My boy
- 11:14Speaker 1: Donald Trump is tweeting on behalf of Bernie Sanders. That's
- 11:19Speaker 1: what he is. That is that crazy? How Elizabeth Warren
- 11:25Speaker 1: is hurting Bernie Sanders. She should have gotten out before
- 11:30Speaker 1: Super Tuesday, gave all those delegates and split that vote
- 11:34Speaker 1: so Joe Biden could be in the front. That's a
- 11:37Speaker 1: shame what the Democrats are doing. This dude is unbelievable.
- 11:42Speaker 1: Unbelievable over him? Now, should Bernie stop? Now? No, he's
- 11:50Speaker 1: not gonna stop. Oh no, it's Oh what did Hillary say?
- 11:54Speaker 1: He's a career politician, so he's gonna take it all
- 11:57Speaker 1: the way as far as he can take it. But
- 12:00Speaker 1: you know what, can I say this? Honestly, I don't
- 12:02Speaker 1: know anything that Bernie Sanders has done for us. He
- 12:09Speaker 1: keeps talking about the vote for the war that Biden did.
- 12:12Speaker 1: Everybody voted for that because you know, they came in
- 12:15Speaker 1: with that bad information. Colin Powell tried to tell him
- 12:20Speaker 1: that that information wasn't legit, but they all did it.
- 12:23Speaker 1: The next thing, you know, we ended up in the war.
- 12:25Speaker 1: That's what Bernie keeps saying that. I just don't know
- 12:27Speaker 1: what Bernie does. You know what about Biden? I mean,
- 12:31Speaker 1: do we know what he did? Nothing other than yeah,
- 12:35Speaker 1: be the VP for Obama, one of the greatest presidents
- 12:40Speaker 1: of all time, and they formed a friendship in a
- 12:43Speaker 1: bond and he was loyal to this guy that right
- 12:47Speaker 1: there for me is enough for me to want to
- 12:50Speaker 1: vote for him to beat Trump. I think if Bernie
- 12:54Speaker 1: Sanders is the candidate, I think that the Republican Party
- 12:58Speaker 1: and Donald Trump are gonna keep screaming socialists so loud
- 13:03Speaker 1: because he's not. That's true. He's self proclaimed a socialist Democrat.
- 13:09Speaker 1: They're gonna run down and everybody scared of that turn.
- 13:13Speaker 1: You're gonna tie that to communism. I don't think Bernie
- 13:16Speaker 1: Sanders can beat h Donald Trump in the head to head. Nope.
- 13:21Speaker 1: And that's why Donald Trump is trying to say positive
- 13:24Speaker 1: things about Bernie. It's like watching the kid. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 13:31Speaker 1: sad to say. I just well, Steve coming up at
- 13:35Speaker 1: thirty two minutes after the hour inside something funny, Sister
- 13:39Speaker 1: O'Dell will pass a visit. She's in the building right
- 13:42Speaker 1: after this. You're listening. It's Someday, Wednesday, and time now
- 13:49Speaker 1: for something funny with sister O'Dell. Who is in the building?
- 14:03Speaker 1: Mm hmmm? Where or me? Whoa for me? If you
- 14:25Speaker 1: don't pray for your s pray for you? How you
- 14:33Speaker 1: don't try? If you good mornings? Everyone was down? Where? Where? Where?
- 14:43Speaker 1: You know who? I'm so tired, you know. Down well,
- 14:52Speaker 1: I've been traveling around the country passing our mask. Oh yes, man,
- 14:58Speaker 1: you know people are scared to get the corona, you know,
- 15:01Speaker 1: so I gotta I've been passed my missionary workers passing
- 15:05Speaker 1: out mask and and and cinnamon colored stockings. What are
- 15:12Speaker 1: the stock masters data stopped corona in stocking. Yes, I'm
- 15:18Speaker 1: telling you, sprinkler love vinegar on the centimon colored stockings,
- 15:22Speaker 1: and you won't get nothing. M well better than the vastination.
- 15:28Speaker 1: They ain't got no test. You might as well tried
- 15:31Speaker 1: through that. Okay, what do you have to lose that?
- 15:34Speaker 1: Damn Donald Trump? Lyne tell about you can get a
- 15:37Speaker 1: test ain't got before the two tests. You don't even
- 15:41Speaker 1: want to take it. He's he's just such a president,
- 15:45Speaker 1: ain't he He's something? Miss? Yes, he's been in denying.
- 15:48Speaker 1: If we don't get it in, get that man out
- 15:50Speaker 1: of office. Ain't no telling what this coult we're gonna
- 15:53Speaker 1: tune into. But anyway, what else is going on? What's
- 15:57Speaker 1: sister adel? Have you heard about this? But you know
- 16:00Speaker 1: how you know Dolly Parton? Right? Of course I know
- 16:04Speaker 1: Dolly Okay, Well she's uh, she's seventy four years old.
- 16:08Speaker 1: Now I knew her, Mama, Oh you do trilly, Trilly Parton.
- 16:23Speaker 1: She didn't have a big brush like Dolly. She had
- 16:25Speaker 1: a huge ash trash. It looked like a Trilly had
- 16:34Speaker 1: come through that. But go ahead. What was she saying now, Well,
- 16:40Speaker 1: I was saying that Dolly Parton is seventy four years old. Um,
- 16:44Speaker 1: she was talking on a sixt Yes, ma'am, she is well.
- 16:48Speaker 1: She credits her her appearance to three things, good lighting,
- 16:52Speaker 1: good makeup, and good doctors. And what she um? She
- 16:55Speaker 1: was on sixty minutes in Australia. She told them that
- 16:58Speaker 1: she doesn't plan to be retire, but she does plan
- 17:01Speaker 1: to be on the cover of Playboy magazine again at
- 17:04Speaker 1: seventy four. She said, if they would go for it,
- 17:07Speaker 1: Oh what hard? She said? She she had on that
- 17:16Speaker 1: ain't got a white moment, So you know, the only
- 17:25Speaker 1: only seventy four year old white women is just talking
- 17:27Speaker 1: about getting on the cover of Playboy, for which dollar
- 17:30Speaker 1: got plenty of money. She don't need none of that.
- 17:34Speaker 1: She want to thank, she says, she want to thank that.
- 17:38Speaker 1: She wanted to thank, oh the doctors, good lighting, good makeup,
- 17:42Speaker 1: and good doctors for her youthful appearance because she still
- 17:45Speaker 1: looks so great at seventy four, and she could still
- 17:47Speaker 1: fit her same costume that she wore on the cover
- 17:50Speaker 1: in nineteen seventy eight a Playboy? Would I could steal
- 17:54Speaker 1: away the same socks I had on when I was
- 17:56Speaker 1: in high school? But what do that mean? Tommy had
- 18:01Speaker 1: a question for you, sister, What is it? Tommy? Would
- 18:04Speaker 1: you pose for the cover? She listened to this. I'm
- 18:09Speaker 1: just asking you know who I am? That's all he
- 18:12Speaker 1: being this call you just a disrespectful little stupid She's
- 18:17Speaker 1: saying she's thinking about doing it. I'm just saying there
- 18:21Speaker 1: might be something. I am a woman of the lawyer.
- 18:25Speaker 1: Why would I be on the cover of the Playboy?
- 18:30Speaker 1: But you still look good? I think that's what he
- 18:32Speaker 1: was trying to say, Sister Adell, you still look really good.
- 18:34Speaker 1: Oh if he is you on the cover or mad,
- 18:41Speaker 1: I'm not mad. You look like that a little stupid
- 18:45Speaker 1: boy to be on it. So why don't you get
- 18:47Speaker 1: on the dam since when talking covers, good Boy getting
- 18:58Speaker 1: sicking you? You know you you you know I'm gonna
- 19:00Speaker 1: talk to Kate because you every time I seem like
- 19:03Speaker 1: I call you get you a little more disrespectful. No,
- 19:06Speaker 1: I was forgetting your home training because you got a
- 19:09Speaker 1: good family. No, man, I was, I was really asking that.
- 19:14Speaker 1: I didn't think I was being offensive. I apologize. I
- 19:16Speaker 1: thought you I thought I was giving a compliment. Well,
- 19:20Speaker 1: I sep you, it ain't a compliment. I ain't got
- 19:22Speaker 1: nothing gonna play more. You can't get all of my
- 19:26Speaker 1: parts in the same shot. If you take a head shot,
- 19:33Speaker 1: you ain't gonna see no breast. You can get the
- 19:35Speaker 1: breast in there with your knees. Since y O'Dell, I
- 19:41Speaker 1: have another question. You know, Um, some people, well I'll
- 19:46Speaker 1: ask you this. Uh, some people, you know, believe that
- 19:50Speaker 1: relationships are supposed to be all about honesty. They're supposed
- 19:53Speaker 1: to be all about trust. But then some people are
- 19:55Speaker 1: into keeping their secrets to themselves, keeping one to ask you,
- 20:01Speaker 1: keeping their secrets to themselves sharing them with their partners.
- 20:05Speaker 1: So I gotta ask you, what will you never share
- 20:08Speaker 1: with your significant other or one of your husbands. I'd
- 20:13Speaker 1: never tell them about the time that me and Harriet
- 20:16Speaker 1: had went back on the underground railroad one time, and
- 20:22Speaker 1: two of the means wanted to turn back, and the
- 20:25Speaker 1: only way they kept going was I slept with both
- 20:27Speaker 1: of them. Well, so I put it on them. They
- 20:33Speaker 1: followed me straight up, norfe we flee to my love?
- 20:45Speaker 1: All right, coming up next, nephew, Temmy's run that prank
- 20:47Speaker 1: back right after this you're listening to show coming up
- 20:53Speaker 1: at the top of the hour. In national news, New
- 20:55Speaker 1: York deploys the National Guard to the containment zone and
- 20:59Speaker 1: New Rochelle, Westchester County due to the coronavirus outbreak. Plus
- 21:04Speaker 1: an entertainment news game shows taping without audiences. Well, I
- 21:08Speaker 1: Steve about family feud and what they're doing at the
- 21:10Speaker 1: top of the hour. But right now, nephew in the building.
- 21:13Speaker 1: Time to run that prank back. Nep what you got
- 21:15Speaker 1: for us? Please find any Yes, your uncle? Just your wife, doctor,
- 21:29Speaker 1: your wife's doctor. Okay, your wife's doctor. Let's go. Hello. Hello,
- 21:35Speaker 1: I'm trying to get uh Andrew you please? Who's calling?
- 21:38Speaker 1: This is doctor andrews? Oh yeah, yeah, God, how are
- 21:42Speaker 1: you doing? Doctor? How are you doing? I'm all right,
- 21:44Speaker 1: she's not Andrew that she's not in right now. It's
- 21:47Speaker 1: you won't leave a message something, yeah, libre messages that
- 21:51Speaker 1: you know she came in so she had an appointment
- 21:53Speaker 1: this morning, right right, right, right right, everything, okay, Oh,
- 21:57Speaker 1: everything's good. Everything's good. You know I've been Andrew's gotta
- 22:00Speaker 1: college just for quite some time now, so yeah, yeah,
- 22:02Speaker 1: I know, right right right, Okay, Well, listen, can see
- 22:06Speaker 1: if she's able to get back in tomorrow. I need
- 22:08Speaker 1: to get one more good look at her, one more
- 22:10Speaker 1: good looks everything. Okay, I just want to check a
- 22:13Speaker 1: few things. You know. If I get one more good look,
- 22:15Speaker 1: a good look at her, I think I'll be fine. One.
- 22:20Speaker 1: Don't y'all do this like once, uh once or twice
- 22:23Speaker 1: a year and you wanted to come right back to everything? Okay,
- 22:27Speaker 1: now you can tell me nice everything I hat with
- 22:29Speaker 1: my wife? Uh yeah, Gregg, right, yeah, what's up? Talk
- 22:34Speaker 1: to me? You know I'm not I'm not proud to
- 22:36Speaker 1: tell tell anyone what's going on with her. And there's
- 22:38Speaker 1: nothing really serious going on. Okay, so you can relax
- 22:42Speaker 1: on that part. But I just want to get one
- 22:44Speaker 1: more good look at her, just to be sure. One
- 22:46Speaker 1: more good looks for what doc? If nothing serious going on? Well,
- 22:49Speaker 1: I think, um, I think what, Well, she'll be fine,
- 22:55Speaker 1: she'll be fine, She'll be fine. Great, hymn awful about
- 22:59Speaker 1: the record. I'll tell you something man that uh and
- 23:02Speaker 1: I don't really you know, talk like this. Put off
- 23:04Speaker 1: the record? Man, you you and are Man, we're the
- 23:06Speaker 1: uh we're the only ones, aren't we? What? You and I?
- 23:11Speaker 1: We're the only ones? Aren't we the only ones? What
- 23:14Speaker 1: they're talking about? What are you saying? Well, you know,
- 23:17Speaker 1: we're the only one that's seen it? You know? Oh?
- 23:20Speaker 1: Whoa what? What what are you saying? Though? Uh, just
- 23:23Speaker 1: just stating that, you know, off the record, you are?

- 24:45Speaker 1: gonna make me do something crazy to you. I don't
- 24:47Speaker 1: believe you called me with that type talking about my wife.

- 24:53Speaker 1: Have you lost your damn mind? Sure? I didn't mean.
- 24:55Speaker 1: I didn't think you did. You did, don't matter. It
- 24:59Speaker 1: was just a little no, no no, I was being
- 25:01Speaker 1: a little playful with you. I didn't think that was
- 25:02Speaker 1: gonna this ain't no because they don't play. What's wrong
- 25:05Speaker 1: with you? We're playing? I'm not playing, don't you whatever?
- 25:08Speaker 1: A matter of fact, do I need to see you?
- 25:11Speaker 1: I need I need to see have a session with you.
- 25:13Speaker 1: We can talk about this here bat your dog on
- 25:15Speaker 1: man talking about my wife. Amazing to you. You're the
- 25:19Speaker 1: most unprofessional. I didn't even go to you all these years.
- 25:24Speaker 1: Or was there anywhere you can get her to come

- 25:36Speaker 1: can we get straight down. I've left the office for today.
- 25:39Speaker 1: I just wanted to call and see if I could
- 25:41Speaker 1: get one good look at her for the mom. No,
- 25:43Speaker 1: then you're gonna get with that. Wasn't more good gonna look? No, No,
- 25:46Speaker 1: let me tell you one thing. She ain't coming there
- 25:48Speaker 1: of you? No, mo, no, mo, no mo? Is she
- 25:51Speaker 1: coming back to see me? Wait? Wait wait, I don't
- 25:53Speaker 1: want to lose a customer, not not like it. You
- 25:56Speaker 1: ain't gonna you ain't gonna lose a customer. I'm coming
- 25:58Speaker 1: at the moll make me a one. You could check
- 26:00Speaker 1: my out tomorrow. You see how you like that, sir?
- 26:03Speaker 1: That's what That's not possible. I'm definitely gonna Oh. I
- 26:07Speaker 1: don't want to lose her. If you like, it's gonna
- 26:10Speaker 1: hurt me if I lose her as a class, I
- 26:11Speaker 1: don't want to miss seeing her. Don't hurt you. It
- 26:13Speaker 1: ain't gonna hurt you that you lose them. It's gonna
- 26:15Speaker 1: hurt you when I get there. Don't you worry about her? Greg,
- 26:19Speaker 1: you gotta calm down. Okay, I was being I was
- 26:23Speaker 1: being playful, and I away we too? Were you too
- 26:27Speaker 1: old to be playful? Playful? I'm seeing you in the morning,
- 26:30Speaker 1: first thing in the morning. Okay, what time you can

- 26:36Speaker 1: have a brother named Tyran? What they got to do
- 26:39Speaker 1: with it? Saying? What they gotta do with my brother?
- 26:41Speaker 1: What they got to do with you? Okay? What I
- 26:43Speaker 1: wanted to tell you is, this is not doctor Hendrix.
- 26:47Speaker 1: This is nephew Timmy from the Steve Harbard Morning Show.
- 26:49Speaker 1: Your brother Tyring got me the plank phone call you.
- 26:54Speaker 1: I don't give a who you. I'm coming to see you.
- 26:57Speaker 1: What what's it like? I did? What? Hey? Greg, Greg, Greg,
- 27:04Speaker 1: pull up, take us out, your brother Tyring? This is
- 27:07Speaker 1: this is nephew Timmy man from the Steve Always Morning Show.
- 27:10Speaker 1: Your brother tiring got me the prank phone call you?
- 27:13Speaker 1: That's what I thought you said. Man, hold on, man,
- 27:16Speaker 1: oh oh man, let me stop for a minute. Man,
- 27:19Speaker 1: Oh my goodness, boy, you lost your damn hold on.
- 27:25Speaker 1: You don't do he don't do like that? Man got
- 27:28Speaker 1: my wife, y'all. What's my brother? I would be telling
- 27:31Speaker 1: him first You're gonna see Tying tomorrow. I'm gonna see
- 27:34Speaker 1: him first day in the morning. Man, the morning. I'm
- 27:38Speaker 1: ready kill everybody. Hell no, hey, I gotta ask you, man,
- 27:43Speaker 1: what's the baddest radio show in the land, The Steve
- 27:46Speaker 1: Mmy Show. Yeah, man, you Clay say it? Play Yeah?
- 27:56Speaker 1: You know me and you were the only ones that
- 27:57Speaker 1: seen it. Ain't me, you know, Tommy, Tommy, I go
- 28:08Speaker 1: a little too far sometimes sometimes well you do. And
- 28:13Speaker 1: when and when the next hour get here, I'm gonna
- 28:15Speaker 1: go another a little too fun. Watch me, I'm watching Tommy.
- 28:19Speaker 1: You're welcome. Okay, you got another hour to get get
- 28:23Speaker 1: get this off your chicks, because we're gonna do it again. Okay, Montgomery,
- 28:27Speaker 1: I beat there Saturday night, Baby Montgomery Performing Arts Center,
- 28:29Speaker 1: getting ready, getting ready to getting ready. The Nephew is
- 28:32Speaker 1: coming to town. It's gonna be off the chain. Got
- 28:34Speaker 1: my girl Ashima from a TV show the second season
- 28:37Speaker 1: Asima performing. Uh hey, Julia, what's my boy name? Uh? God?
- 28:43Speaker 1: Do Steve Brown, Steve Brown, Steve Brown, Come on, Steve Brown,
- 28:49Speaker 1: let's get we don't have some fun this weekend in Montgomery.
- 28:52Speaker 1: The Gump is on fire with the Nephew this weekend.
- 28:55Speaker 1: Tickets on see got a few up left, but they
- 28:57Speaker 1: almost all right. Thinking if you're coming up at the
- 29:02Speaker 1: top of the our entertainment and national news right after this,
- 29:07Speaker 1: you're listening in today's entertainment news, Steve, I'm sure you
- 29:15Speaker 1: heard Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune, Wendy Williams. They all
- 29:18Speaker 1: announced that they are taping without an audience due to
- 29:21Speaker 1: the coronavirus outbreak. So what's going on at a family feuge?
- 29:26Speaker 1: You're back. They came and talked to me about it,
- 29:29Speaker 1: and they said they are considering not doing audiences. And
- 29:33Speaker 1: how I felt about that because and I told him,
- 29:36Speaker 1: you know, I'm willing to try anything, you know, they said,
- 29:39Speaker 1: because you know they are struggling in LA to get audiences,
- 29:45Speaker 1: and um, you know, people are just staying away. And
- 29:49Speaker 1: so they did come to me. They told me that
- 29:51Speaker 1: Jeopardy and Will were doing shows with no audience. And
- 29:57Speaker 1: how I felt about it. I told him I didn't care.
- 29:59Speaker 1: You know, my check the same. How y'all want do it?
- 30:03Speaker 1: You know, but that decision is going to be made
- 30:07Speaker 1: by Freemantle, because Freemantle has several shows, you know what
- 30:10Speaker 1: I mean. Freemantles got some pick shows on TV, so
- 30:15Speaker 1: they want to do it all as a sweeping gesture.
- 30:18Speaker 1: But it looks like we'll be doing no audiences. Well
- 30:27Speaker 1: you know, of course, you know, as a stand up
- 30:29Speaker 1: a performer, I'm automatically seventy percent better when people show
- 30:33Speaker 1: up and without that and who's gonna laugh at the jokes?
- 30:39Speaker 1: Which makes me dig a little bit deeper. And then
- 30:42Speaker 1: it's just the electricity of performing in front of people.
- 30:45Speaker 1: That's what makes Family Few so successful, because I know
- 30:48Speaker 1: it's people in the audience and comedians need instant feedback.
- 30:51Speaker 1: We're not like regular radio DJs where we tell a joker.
- 30:55Speaker 1: We imagine people laughing. The four of us have direct experience.
- 31:00Speaker 1: We know if we say something if it has a
- 31:03Speaker 1: better chance of being funny than just a radio DJ
- 31:06Speaker 1: who spends his entire life in a booth and so.
- 31:09Speaker 1: But we who work in front of people need that energy.
- 31:12Speaker 1: So I would miss the energy, but it would probably
- 31:15Speaker 1: be just as good because I had the family's laughing,
- 31:18Speaker 1: except the one time. Yeah, it's not like you're completely
- 31:22Speaker 1: alone up there. Yeah, I mean did they say they
- 31:24Speaker 1: would put the audience in in post like in post
- 31:26Speaker 1: production they would add that Get there now, Junior, Why
- 31:31Speaker 1: would you want to say something like that out now?
- 31:33Speaker 1: That's a good question, it's a great question. But it's
- 31:38Speaker 1: pulling the curtain back. And I only do that on
- 31:41Speaker 1: shows that don't pay that much. You have meetings on
- 31:51Speaker 1: the air, you have come on, man, a major source
- 31:58Speaker 1: of money. Now stop, you know, but you know what,
- 32:01Speaker 1: can I be honest with you? I don't feel any danger. Yeah,
- 32:04Speaker 1: there are people who was taking this way too far?
- 32:08Speaker 1: Have you been on the internet? See did you see
- 32:10Speaker 1: that lady in Memphis head them garbage bags on? I
- 32:14Speaker 1: saw that because of a school employee at a school
- 32:19Speaker 1: had the tested positive and they were spraying the kids.
- 32:23Speaker 1: I was like, wow, the kids saw and no, I
- 32:29Speaker 1: didn't see that, but yeah, I saw that on social
- 32:33Speaker 1: media too, Steve. I sorry, yesterday I saw Naomi Campbell
- 32:36Speaker 1: and that has Matt sup the I'm gonna whoop your ass.
- 32:40Speaker 1: I'm sorry. No, no, no, parents, No, the parents were
- 32:45Speaker 1: spraying their own kid shot. So you'd be whipping your
- 32:48Speaker 1: own behind. Oh that's ignorant right here, you know, And
- 32:54Speaker 1: you are the resident germaphobic on the shelf. Yes, yes,
- 33:00Speaker 1: a hein' spraying all right, come on, ladies and gentlemen.
- 33:11Speaker 1: Miss and okay, thank you guys, Good morning everybody out there.
- 33:16Speaker 1: This is antre put the news. Okay, and yesterday's primary voting.
- 33:19Speaker 1: We'll get to that in a minute. But President Trump
- 33:21Speaker 1: is defending his administration's handling of the outbreak of the coronavirus.
- 33:25Speaker 1: He does not think that he needs to make any
- 33:27Speaker 1: adjustments to his team, even where concerns the much criticized
- 33:31Speaker 1: rollout of the virus testing kits. I think the US
- 33:33Speaker 1: has done a very good job on testing. We had
- 33:36Speaker 1: to change things that were done that were nobody's fault.
- 33:41Speaker 1: All federal health officials do acknowledge that there were delays
- 33:44Speaker 1: in manufacturing and in distributing the testing kits, but they
- 33:47Speaker 1: say the kids are being shipped out now. No words
- 33:50Speaker 1: still on how many Americans have been tested. Yesterday's primary voting,
- 33:53Speaker 1: Joe Biden won overwhelmingly over Bernie Sanders in Mississippi with
- 33:58Speaker 1: thirty six delegates to give out. Missouri sixty delegates they
- 34:01Speaker 1: have Michigan was a big prize. Michigan has one hundred
- 34:04Speaker 1: and twenty five delegates to give out, in Idaho with twenty,
- 34:08Speaker 1: but it does look like Sanders might be the winner
- 34:10Speaker 1: in North Dakota and Washington State. We'll see how those
- 34:12Speaker 1: final numbers come in. By the way, before the results
- 34:14Speaker 1: were in last night, both the Biden and Sanders campaigns
- 34:18Speaker 1: announced that, in the interest of public health, that they
- 34:20Speaker 1: would not be holding rallies after the polls closed. Now,
- 34:23Speaker 1: President Trump has said that he still plans to hold
- 34:26Speaker 1: quote tremendous rallies, but there are no reports right now
- 34:29Speaker 1: of any schedule. Meanwhile, polling sights all over the country
- 34:33Speaker 1: get this equipping workers with handwipes, disinfectants, and even gloves
- 34:37Speaker 1: for both the voters and the poll workers. Voters in
- 34:40Speaker 1: Washington State. A lot of whom apparently send their ballots
- 34:43Speaker 1: in by mail have been told not to lick the
- 34:46Speaker 1: envelopes to seal them, but to use wet sponges instead.
- 34:50Speaker 1: Election workers are advised to use gloves when opening those
- 34:54Speaker 1: ballots and get this. According to the Kansas City Stars,
- 34:57Speaker 1: the Kansas City, Missouri's African American mayor Quentin Lucas. The
- 35:00Speaker 1: guy's name is Quintin Lucas, right. He was turned away
- 35:02Speaker 1: from the polls yesterday and told he wasn't in the system.
- 35:05Speaker 1: After submitting forms of ID and oh, he said, this
- 35:08Speaker 1: is my regular polling place. He was told he still
- 35:10Speaker 1: was not registered. He was given a provisional ballot at
- 35:14Speaker 1: the end of the day, though it turns out that
- 35:15Speaker 1: the poll worker kept entering the mayor's name in the
- 35:18Speaker 1: wrong order, Lucas Quinton, but his name is Quinton Lucas
- 35:22Speaker 1: and that's why he couldn't find his name. Disgrace movie
- 35:26Speaker 1: mogul Harvey Weinstein is scheduled to be sentenced today. His
- 35:29Speaker 1: lawyers say he only deserves five years behind bars for
- 35:32Speaker 1: his recent rape conviction. There reasoning well, because they say
- 35:35Speaker 1: he's already suffered from public humiliation and serious health problems.
- 35:40Speaker 1: Weinstein faces five to twenty nine years in prison win sentence,
- 35:43Speaker 1: as well as a similar sexual assault trial that he
- 35:45Speaker 1: faces also in California. And finally, today is take a
- 35:49Speaker 1: nap at your desk day. La la la, la, la
- 35:54Speaker 1: la la. Back to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. You're
- 35:56Speaker 1: listening to Harvey Morning Show. The coronavirus is putting multiple
- 36:02Speaker 1: holes on festivals, concerts, and sporting events. Coachella was originally
- 36:06Speaker 1: scheduled from April tenth through April sixteenth, and now it's
- 36:10Speaker 1: going to be October ninth and October sixteenth. In the
- 36:15Speaker 1: sports world, Lebron James has done a complete one eighty
- 36:18Speaker 1: just days after stating that, Remember he said he wouldn't
- 36:21Speaker 1: play an NBA game without the fans. Remember he said that. Well,
- 36:24Speaker 1: now he's saying he'll do whatever the league thinks is best.
- 36:28Speaker 1: Lebron said he wasn't aware the league was. Yeah, he
- 36:33Speaker 1: said he wasn't aware the league was actually exploring the idea.
- 36:37Speaker 1: Now he says he'll do whatever medical experts suggest is
- 36:40Speaker 1: safest for the league, the players, and the fans. Yeah,
- 36:44Speaker 1: there you go, Lebron, That's what I said. The Family.
- 36:48Speaker 1: When they said we might do with no audience, I said, hey, look,
- 36:52Speaker 1: whatever's best for the phase, the Shels and you television
- 36:59Speaker 1: and Judicious and my check. Please, I'm willing to do
- 37:05Speaker 1: whatever y'all want to do. Yeah. So you're in a
- 37:09Speaker 1: Lebrono in agreement on that for sure. Hell yeah yeah,
- 37:14Speaker 1: hell yea. I love the fans, but I want the
- 37:17Speaker 1: fans to be safe. Yeah. Matter of fact, what I
- 37:21Speaker 1: would really rather do is just voice over my spot
- 37:24Speaker 1: on Family Feud and had him send me my money.
- 37:29Speaker 1: You trying to work from home? Yeah? Yeah, I'm a
- 37:35Speaker 1: video conference in on Family feel I'm just gonna be
- 37:40Speaker 1: a talking time for four months. Number five, the families,
- 37:49Speaker 1: families want to see you, Steve. You know that I'll
- 37:54Speaker 1: make it a big ass screen. I do life size screen.
- 37:58Speaker 1: Look like I'm right there. Uh huh. Now, Steve, have
- 38:01Speaker 1: you adjusted how you greet the contestants? Oh? Yeah, oh
- 38:05Speaker 1: we just families. Yeah I knew. We just tap toes.
- 38:11Speaker 1: No that's new because some people bump elbows. Don't put
- 38:17Speaker 1: your clothes on me. No, we've changed everything, but they can.
- 38:22Speaker 1: Family Fuse a really smart show. They came because you
- 38:25Speaker 1: so many families every day, multiple shows. They've told all
- 38:30Speaker 1: of them, please do not touch Steve. Did not shake
- 38:33Speaker 1: his hand, did not stick your hand out. But you know,
- 38:36Speaker 1: I hook people were taking the photos and stuff. I
- 38:38Speaker 1: just think people come on the show. I put my
- 38:41Speaker 1: arm around him out that that's a good photo for
- 38:44Speaker 1: them as a family. So it'll be I'm not my
- 38:47Speaker 1: life and feel good, all right, Steve coming up a
- 38:50Speaker 1: story Taylor made for you. Yeah at thirty four minutes
- 38:56Speaker 1: after the hour. Joe Biden won Michigan, Missouri, and Mississippi
- 39:00Speaker 1: in the delegate race last night. He also told a
- 39:02Speaker 1: Detroit autoworker that he is full of sugar, honey, iced tea.
- 39:06Speaker 1: We'll talk about it right after. Stick around for this. Yeah,
- 39:11Speaker 1: you're listening to Day Morning show. Big, big day for
- 39:16Speaker 1: Joe Biden. He won Michigan, he won Missouri and Mississippi
- 39:21Speaker 1: in the delegate race last night. Well, while campaigning in Detroit,
- 39:25Speaker 1: Steve Joe Biden met with autoworkers. Now. One autoworker claimed
- 39:30Speaker 1: that Joe Biden is against the Second Amendment. You know
- 39:34Speaker 1: that when the right to bear arms. Joe had a
- 39:37Speaker 1: clapback for him, though, Take a listen. Getting the US
- 39:41Speaker 1: when there is a large portion of the union workers
- 39:43Speaker 1: now are gun enthusiasts, and you are, after the trying
- 39:46Speaker 1: to diminish your second ament of right and take aware
- 39:48Speaker 1: of gunport all right, sush shush. I support the Second Amendment,
- 39:55Speaker 1: my second Amendment, just like right now. If you're a
- 39:58Speaker 1: fire that's not free speak. And from the very beginning,
- 40:02Speaker 1: I have a shotgun. I average twenty gage, a twelve gage.
- 40:05Speaker 1: My son's hunt. Guess what You're not allowed to own anywhere.
- 40:10Speaker 1: I'm not taking your gun away at all. You need
- 40:12Speaker 1: one hundred rounds when you want. I did not say
- 40:16Speaker 1: that that's not you. I did not say video. It's
- 40:19Speaker 1: a viral video like the other ones. You're putting out
- 40:22Speaker 1: your voice. You said that you're taking he just clarified.
- 40:26Speaker 1: Wait wait wait wait wait wait take ther you're aar
- 40:29Speaker 1: fourteens and this is not okay. Guys, get as Joe.
- 40:43Speaker 1: I'm talking about Donald Trump. This is needs to be
- 40:49Speaker 1: on stage with Donald Trump. Now. They all say that
- 40:53Speaker 1: Joe Biden is a good debater. He's not a good debater,
- 40:56Speaker 1: but Donald Trump isn't either. No, Donald's not a good anything.
- 41:00Speaker 1: Donald's not a good debater. What he is really good
- 41:05Speaker 1: at is twisting the fact, liar not telling the truth. Yes,
- 41:11Speaker 1: Joe Biden has a great track record. He has something
- 41:14Speaker 1: to say, and he'll talk back to him the way
- 41:17Speaker 1: that he needs to be talked to you, because you
- 41:19Speaker 1: need somebody to my accidentally cuss, yeah, or just cuss
- 41:23Speaker 1: on purpose. I'm right now that I would vote for
- 41:30Speaker 1: Joe Biden over Bernie said, this is listen to me, y'all.
- 41:34Speaker 1: You're free to vote whoever you want to vote for.
- 41:37Speaker 1: I'm just giving you my opinion. And just as I'm
- 41:41Speaker 1: only one vote, I'm only one guy. But that's all.
- 41:46Speaker 1: The reason I would vote for Biden is because I
- 41:49Speaker 1: think he gives us the best chance to beat Donald Trump.
- 41:52Speaker 1: That's the reason. Bernie said, they're gonna run that running.
- 41:59Speaker 1: See where at the point now, what we gotta thinking
- 42:01Speaker 1: about who's the most electable candidate? Because let me, can
- 42:06Speaker 1: I say something. I like everybody getting free medical, free medical,
- 42:11Speaker 1: I like everybody going to college free. But it's not
- 42:15Speaker 1: gonna happen in the United States because there's too many
- 42:20Speaker 1: people making money off education. You saw what happened to
- 42:23Speaker 1: them celebrities, They paid money for their kids to go.
- 42:29Speaker 1: Come on, man, this is a huge racket. These people
- 42:33Speaker 1: that have this racket are not gonna let this go.
- 42:36Speaker 1: Nobody's giving you free medical when they're making so much
- 42:39Speaker 1: money on healthcare. But can I say this, I think
- 42:44Speaker 1: that if Joe Biden nomination, just keep going, If n
- 42:55Speaker 1: just keep going, don't ain't nobody food to attack cousin
- 43:00Speaker 1: little rich boy said. But if Joe Biden gets the nomination,
- 43:10Speaker 1: I think that he needs to address Bernie Sanders and
- 43:14Speaker 1: those young people in that movement. He needs to hear
- 43:18Speaker 1: what they're what they're saying so he can address and
- 43:20Speaker 1: be a candidate for them if he gets that nomination.
- 43:23Speaker 1: I don't think he can't ignore it because Bernie Sanders
- 43:26Speaker 1: has a movement as well. I agree about Joe Biden. Yeah,
- 43:31Speaker 1: I agree with you. I think you exactly right. But
- 43:35Speaker 1: we have to get the millennials to understand something other
- 43:39Speaker 1: reality of how this system works. These people are not
- 43:43Speaker 1: going to let that happen in the next four years. Now.
- 43:48Speaker 1: It's great to start this conversation, but it's gonna take
- 43:51Speaker 1: a long time to shift that college in that free
- 43:54Speaker 1: medical care because we're talking over thirty trillion dollars. All right,
- 44:00Speaker 1: we got worked coming up next, nephew in the building
- 44:04Speaker 1: with today's prank phone call. Right after this, you're listening
- 44:07Speaker 1: to the string show coming up at the top of
- 44:11Speaker 1: the hour, writing about four minutes after it's my strawberry
- 44:14Speaker 1: letter for today's subject. He won't let me touch it
- 44:16Speaker 1: or see it. Akay, what's wrong? Right now? All right,
- 44:28Speaker 1: that's the strawberry, the strawberry letter for Todavid. Right now,
- 44:33Speaker 1: nephew in the building with today's prank phone call. And
- 44:36Speaker 1: we have been warned. Nephew, what you got Brand spanking
- 44:40Speaker 1: New twenty twenty. You got one more cough? Oh? Do
- 44:46Speaker 1: you know what I say? You got one more cough?
- 44:50Speaker 1: All right? All right, now you got one more call.
- 44:56Speaker 1: Let's go, kid though. Hello, Hello, I'm trying to reach
- 45:00Speaker 1: our brill place. This is Lawrence from the job. How
- 45:05Speaker 1: are you doing today? Oh God, how are you doing?
- 45:08Speaker 1: I'm good. I'm good. Listen, we got a situation at
- 45:11Speaker 1: the job. I know it's a little late this evening. Um,
- 45:15Speaker 1: And what time do you normally come in in the mornings.
- 45:18Speaker 1: I'm coming around okay. So are you are you all
- 45:24Speaker 1: right health wise? How you feeling? Um? I'm fine? What
- 45:29Speaker 1: you're talking about? I mean I got a little I've
- 45:31Speaker 1: got a little under the weather. But okay, so so
- 45:35Speaker 1: let me let me let me go ahead and tell
- 45:37Speaker 1: you this. My name is Lawrence, all right. I work
- 45:39Speaker 1: on a different floor from you, but I wanted to
- 45:42Speaker 1: give you a call you. It's been brought to my attention.
- 45:44Speaker 1: A lot of people are a little edgy right now,
- 45:48Speaker 1: you know. But yeah, because you're you're in a cubicle
- 45:53Speaker 1: and most of the people around your cubicle are starting
- 45:56Speaker 1: to be a little worried because they're saying that, you know,
- 45:59Speaker 1: you're coughing a lot. And yeah, so I mean me right, Okay,
- 46:07Speaker 1: do you think that you need to maybe be tested
- 46:10Speaker 1: tested for what? I don't know? You ain't talking about this?
- 46:13Speaker 1: Damn uh? What's it called? Coronavirus? Do you do? You do?
- 46:18Speaker 1: You do you think you need to be tested? Do
- 46:20Speaker 1: I think I think you need no? Excuse me, right,
- 46:23Speaker 1: let me hold on listen. I know the world's in
- 46:26Speaker 1: a frenzy, but everybody don't got no them coronavirus. Okay,
- 46:30Speaker 1: I have a cold, I'm a little stuffy, but nonetheless,
- 46:35Speaker 1: like I taking their food and taking care of myself,
- 46:38Speaker 1: I don't need to be tested for anything. Okay, so
- 46:41Speaker 1: do you do you think it's possible maybe you need
- 46:43Speaker 1: to be self quarantined. And Laurence, Laurence, honey, I think
- 46:48Speaker 1: you are stepping onto us right now. Okay, um as
- 46:51Speaker 1: that that's very inappropriate. I don't know who put you
- 46:55Speaker 1: up to this, but nonetheless, I think y'all really stepping
- 46:58Speaker 1: on this has got to be like a ship or
- 47:00Speaker 1: something like what is this? Okay? Like, okay, so let
- 47:05Speaker 1: me just say this to you. We I've talked to
- 47:07Speaker 1: everybody on that floor that you work on. All right,
- 47:10Speaker 1: I've talked I've talked to Darlene, all right, I've talked
- 47:13Speaker 1: to what's the other girl? Her name is Loretta. I
- 47:16Speaker 1: think i've spoken with Loretta. Loretta, look like that. What
- 47:21Speaker 1: do you say? Okay? Here here, let me let me,
- 47:24Speaker 1: let me, let me, let me say this. You got
- 47:26Speaker 1: one more call and they and they're gonna put you
- 47:29Speaker 1: out of the building. Excuse me, do you got listen? Okay, Lawrence,
- 47:35Speaker 1: that's on that right, My name is Lawrence. I'm on
- 47:38Speaker 1: the eighth floor. Yes, okay, you're on the eighth for
- 47:41Speaker 1: so you're not even an hr to even be coming
- 47:43Speaker 1: at me like this. But but but but you know
- 47:46Speaker 1: what we tried. Doctor. I don't know where y'all get
- 47:49Speaker 1: off coming at me like that. Okay. I do not
- 47:51Speaker 1: get paid enough for nobody to be testing me by
- 47:53Speaker 1: my personal business. Okay, y'all, really, y'all me tested. I
- 47:56Speaker 1: went this job. Y'all got me all the way stop. Okay, okay, look,
- 48:00Speaker 1: let me let me go and say this here. You
- 48:02Speaker 1: act like this your personal business. It's our business. When
- 48:05Speaker 1: you start coughing all over the building. And we go
- 48:07Speaker 1: in the country going through what is going through right now,
- 48:10Speaker 1: what the world is going through, So you gotta understand
- 48:12Speaker 1: that we're going through. I don't give a damn what
- 48:14Speaker 1: the world is going through. I'm going through my own Okay,
- 48:17Speaker 1: all right. I got two kids I like very hard.
- 48:20Speaker 1: I'm a single mother and I'm up here doing the dust.
- 48:23Speaker 1: I care. I got a call, and I still bring
- 48:24Speaker 1: my eye to work every day and I'll be on time.
- 48:27Speaker 1: So for anybody to be coming at me like that,
- 48:30Speaker 1: that is disrespectful. Okay. I'm playing in ten years at
- 48:32Speaker 1: this job and I don't give a damn. Y'all got
- 48:35Speaker 1: me messed up. Now. I need to speak to your
- 48:37Speaker 1: higher red who is drug ball listen, I'm gonna say.

- 48:48Speaker 1: It's hard to me like that. And I'm gonna trust
- 48:49Speaker 1: through this mother and talk you up. I don't care
- 48:54Speaker 1: who you talk to to. I don't know who do
- 48:56Speaker 1: you think you talking to? But who got me all
- 48:58Speaker 1: the way messed up? Okay, listen here, Okay, I don't

- 54:10Speaker 1: Thank you nephew. Subject he won't let me touch it
- 54:12Speaker 1: or see it. Du Stephen Shirley. I met a guy
- 54:16Speaker 1: online two years ago and we hit it off pretty
- 54:18Speaker 1: good and have a great chemistry. We hang out a lot,
- 54:22Speaker 1: and I'm ready to take the relationship to the next level.
- 54:25Speaker 1: I mean the next level as in sex. We have
- 54:28Speaker 1: never been intimate and it's becoming a problem for me.
- 54:31Speaker 1: Whenever we're alone at my place or his, I have
- 54:35Speaker 1: tried to rub up on him or touch him in
- 54:37Speaker 1: a way to let him know I need a little
- 54:38Speaker 1: something something. He always moves away from me, or he
- 54:42Speaker 1: blocks my hands from touching him in places that I
- 54:45Speaker 1: want to feel on. He has a nervous laugh and
- 54:48Speaker 1: usually says stuff like you crazy girl, you play too much.
- 54:52Speaker 1: After a year and a half of no intimacy, I
- 54:55Speaker 1: came right out and asked him if he was attracted
- 54:58Speaker 1: to me. He said he, but he wasn't trying to
- 55:01Speaker 1: rush into anything. I was thinking it was maybe that
- 55:05Speaker 1: he's not able to perform, but I don't think that's it.
- 55:08Speaker 1: I've allowed him to be all touchy feely with me,
- 55:12Speaker 1: and whenever he is I can see that he's excited.
- 55:15Speaker 1: I have stopped trying to coerce him into anything, and
- 55:19Speaker 1: I've started moving his hands away when he tries to
- 55:21Speaker 1: touch me, he's unaffected by it, and he never says anything.
- 55:26Speaker 1: Our relationship is great and we truly enjoy each other's company.
- 55:31Speaker 1: So if this is our only issue, I don't want
- 55:33Speaker 1: to throw it all away. I need you guys to
- 55:36Speaker 1: help me out because maybe I'm missing something here. I
- 55:39Speaker 1: have started to think that I'm being too aggressive. But
- 55:42Speaker 1: it's been two full years and we've never seen each
- 55:44Speaker 1: other in the nude. How much longer does he expect
- 55:47Speaker 1: me to wait? Stephen Shirley, How can I get this
- 55:50Speaker 1: guy to open up to me and give me what
- 55:52Speaker 1: I need? I'm starting to feel like the roles are
- 55:55Speaker 1: reversed here. Please advise. Well, you're right about that. The
- 55:59Speaker 1: roles are verse, with you being the aggressor and him
- 56:01Speaker 1: pushing your hand away. You know you don't hear about
- 56:05Speaker 1: that nearly as much as you hear about it, you know,
- 56:08Speaker 1: the other way around. But what I want to know is,
- 56:11Speaker 1: how can you say your relationship is great? You said
- 56:13Speaker 1: that in the letter, but I mean, you've been dating
- 56:17Speaker 1: this guy for two years. Have you guys even kissed?
- 56:20Speaker 1: You didn't even say that, you know, I don't see
- 56:23Speaker 1: anything about that, you guys, you said you've been touchy feely,
- 56:29Speaker 1: but you didn't say that. Have you guys really talked
- 56:33Speaker 1: about this? I mean, I want to know where's the
- 56:35Speaker 1: real intimacy in this relationship. I'm not talking about the
- 56:38Speaker 1: missing physical part of it, the sex part, but where's
- 56:42Speaker 1: the friendship, the love, the closeness. You don't talk about that.
- 56:45Speaker 1: It doesn't sound like you guys have that in this
- 56:48Speaker 1: two year relationship. He did say when you asked him
- 56:51Speaker 1: that he was attracted to you, but he didn't want
- 56:53Speaker 1: to rush things. It's been two years. I mean, I
- 56:57Speaker 1: just don't believe him at this point. You guys haven't
- 57:00Speaker 1: gone anywhere, but you know, outside of the friendship zone,
- 57:04Speaker 1: you haven't done anything but be friends. I mean, uh,
- 57:08Speaker 1: this is what friends do. They play around, sometimes, they touchy,
- 57:12Speaker 1: they they're feeling so uh to you, I do say
- 57:16Speaker 1: back off. It doesn't sound like he's interested in you
- 57:18Speaker 1: or he definitely has something to hide. But you say
- 57:21Speaker 1: you've you've felt him get excited. Doesn't sound like he's
- 57:25Speaker 1: interested in you. Steve, Yeah, it does it? Do you know? Steve? Yeah?
- 57:35Speaker 1: Can you hear me? Yeah? Well, dear Steven Shirley, once
- 57:40Speaker 1: you include me and something like this. Let me preface
- 57:44Speaker 1: my answers by saying she wrote in and said dear Steve. First,
- 57:50Speaker 1: didn't she? Yeah? Then she said Anne, Shirley, didn't she? Now, Shirley,
- 57:56Speaker 1: you've already responded, didn't you? Absolutely? He is mine. Got
- 58:02Speaker 1: this relationship. You hang out, you're ready to take it
- 58:05Speaker 1: to the next level. And when you say next level,
- 58:08Speaker 1: you're talking now as its sex. We ain't never been intimate.
- 58:12Speaker 1: And now it's a problem. Y'all get over to your
- 58:15Speaker 1: house by yourself. You don't try rubbing up on him
- 58:18Speaker 1: or touch him in a way to let him know
- 58:20Speaker 1: that you need a little something something. He always move
- 58:23Speaker 1: away or he blocks my hand from touching him. Now
- 58:27Speaker 1: he has a nervous laughing to hear where they let
- 58:29Speaker 1: her go. He says stuff like, you're crazy girl, you
- 58:34Speaker 1: play too much? What? Okay? Now, we got to stop
- 58:38Speaker 1: reading this letter right now, because Houston, we have a
- 58:43Speaker 1: problem name. But a couple of things can be wrong.
- 58:48Speaker 1: First of all, let's go with he could possibly just
- 58:53Speaker 1: be gay, and you know, because you can be a
- 58:58Speaker 1: gay man, I'm assuming, and a woman can get you aroused,
- 59:02Speaker 1: I'm assuming. But for you to never want the woman
- 59:06Speaker 1: or girl you played too much, you crazy? Just maybe
- 59:09Speaker 1: to do this gay that could be it right now.
- 59:14Speaker 1: If that's not the case, then here's why I come
- 59:19Speaker 1: in that. I can't speak about how a person feels
- 59:23Speaker 1: as a gay man that is trying to have relationship
- 59:25Speaker 1: with a woman. I don't know anything about it. But
- 59:28Speaker 1: I can't speak about this man who's knocking your hands
- 59:31Speaker 1: on talking about girl. You played too much, you crazy.
- 59:38Speaker 1: I'm gonna save my answer after the b You got
- 59:41Speaker 1: to be going where I think this I called a cliffhanger, Yeah, cliffhanger.
- 59:48Speaker 1: When we come back, I'm gonna tell you what I
- 59:51Speaker 1: think his two problems are, and it's gonna be one
- 59:55Speaker 1: of these. It's gonna be well, it's gonna be three problems. Okay,
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: three problems. He has only three problems. Okay, all right,
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: you heard it. We'll have part two of Steve's response
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: coming up at twenty three minutes after the hour. Today's
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: Strawberry letters subject he won't let me touch it or
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: see it. We'll be back right after this. You're listening,
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: all right, Steve, Come on, let's recap today's strawberry letter.
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: Subject he won't let me touch her or see it.
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: You said he has three problems this man. This woman
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: Peter's relationship with this dude that she's really feeling. If
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: he's a great guy, she want to take it to
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: the next level. She want to get intimate. But when
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: they alone in his place, she'd rubbed up, only touched him,
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: let him know she need a little something. He moved away,
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: block her hands. Got this nervous laugh. Girl, Are you crazy? Girl?
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: Can you stop? You played too much? What now? Before
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: the break, I said that he could just simply be
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: a gay guy, because you can get a guy rised,
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: but he don't want to really have nothing to do
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: with you. We could have that, But since I don't
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: know nothing about that, and that's not my line of expertise,
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: I must go now into what I do know. Why
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: is this man blocking her hands? Been two damned years,
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: she rubbing up on him, won't him? But he blocking it?
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: Yeah my ass? Yeah? Hell now, dance. Could be three
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: things wrong with this man, And I'm gonna tell you
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: the three things that could be wrong. Number one, he
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: could be suffering from erectile dysfunction. Eed, now you say
- 1:01:59Speaker 1: you've seen him get aroused. That can only happen. But
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: what happens is you can get aroused, but you can't
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: remain arouse. So he know that this little moment right
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: here is fleeting. He has a lot of dudes don't
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: know nothing about that. Sharley, thank you for saying viagral.
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: But a lot of dudes don't know nothing about that.
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: And I mean they know about it, but them peels
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: is expensive now to get them black market they out there,
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: or you go down to the Asian neighborhood. They got
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: stuff called black Rhino and black ant do the same thing.
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: But you don't know what that is. But it works,
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: but you don't know what it is. And you could
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: take something tomorrow and just be like about to commit suicide.
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: So I don't recommend that. Here's the second thing that
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: could be on this gentleman could have what's called a
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: penal implant. That's no. But I know dudes with them
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: that you have to do something to make it this
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: like all that having like a like a Lego set
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: or some go go ahead. Its snapped legs, it popped unfoed. No,
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: I'm serious, like Tommy for real, I'm just joking about
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: the Lego set. But you got penal implants. It's like
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: a it's rod they got let me in to have
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: rods put in? Man, and I don't know. You gotta
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: click a button and the activate but button. I don't know.
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: It's like a remote control or someone. Yeah, man, go
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: around your neck, you know, like medical help or fall
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: it can't get up, or you might press the button
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: and go poo hey, it's time to get up. You'll
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: never know. I don't know how it worked. Here's the
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: third thing, right, what he is very very small, Yeah,
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: listen to me, very very small. And the fact that
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: he don't want you to see it, maybe because it
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: ain't nothing to see. The reason you keep rubbing on it.
- 1:04:38Speaker 1: It ain't getting done because he knows what you're rubbing
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: on that. I got it packed, it's padded right now.
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: It really ain't gonna be nothing. That's why he got
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: that nervous laughter. And girl, you crazy. Most men will
- 1:04:55Speaker 1: let you see it as soon as you want to
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: see it, as soon as you graze up. I'm dumb,
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: but you want to see what you want to see us.
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: I thought you wouldn't go back ted hut. If you
- 1:05:11Speaker 1: have your attention, please you. He even comes in up, warning, warning,
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: and she's close by what should I do? She's close
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: by what should I do? And you have to talk
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: him out of stuff because he has a mind of
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: his own. And if your man is not participating with
- 1:05:31Speaker 1: that other man, it's because it's very very small. I'm
- 1:05:38Speaker 1: talking about tik tak wow. But the fact that he's
- 1:05:46Speaker 1: edy bitty tick tat Chipman like a like a stick
- 1:05:52Speaker 1: of juicy fruit, all right, like a letter at. Steve

- 1:07:05Speaker 1: on a day to day basis as Trump no damn

- 1:08:13Speaker 1: is doing this? Yes though, right now, what's going on

- 1:08:48Speaker 1: I can't I don't understand. He's really not the smartest
- 1:08:53Speaker 1: guy that could has ever been president. I can't tell
- 1:08:57Speaker 1: him that. I know he doesn't read. Yeah, he'd be
- 1:09:03Speaker 1: like him in a white house. Man. If I get
- 1:09:06Speaker 1: in the White House, just as many lies as heat
- 1:09:10Speaker 1: and told be a little different for you, Patna. Yeah,

- 1:16:31Speaker 1: one autoworker claimed that Joe Biden is against the Second Amendment.
- 1:16:36Speaker 1: You know that when the right to bear arms. Joe
- 1:16:39Speaker 1: had a clapback for him. Though, take a listen, getting

- 1:16:45Speaker 1: union workers, there are gun enthusiasts, and you are, after
- 1:16:48Speaker 1: the trying to diminish your Second amnt of right and
- 1:16:50Speaker 1: take away report all right, shush, shush. I support the
- 1:16:56Speaker 1: Second Amendment, Second Amendment, just like right now, yo, fire,
- 1:17:01Speaker 1: that's not free speech. And from the very beginning, I
- 1:17:04Speaker 1: have a shotgun. I have a twenty gage or twelve gage.
- 1:17:08Speaker 1: My son's hunt. Guess what you're not allowed to own anywhap.
- 1:17:12Speaker 1: I'm not taking your gun away at all. You need
- 1:17:15Speaker 1: one hundred rounds. And when I did not say that,

- 1:17:31Speaker 1: fourteens and whatever. This is not okay, guys, get as
- 1:17:44Speaker 1: I'm talking about Donald Trump. This is needs to be
- 1:17:51Speaker 1: on stage with Donald Trump. Now, they all say that
- 1:17:54Speaker 1: Joe Biden is a good debater. He's not a good debater,
- 1:17:58Speaker 1: but Donald Trump isn't. Ether No, Donald's not a good anything.
- 1:18:02Speaker 1: Donald's not a good debater. What he is really good
- 1:18:06Speaker 1: at is twisting the facts, liar, not telling the truth. Yes,
- 1:18:12Speaker 1: Joe Biden has a great track record. He has something
- 1:18:15Speaker 1: to say, and he'll talk back to him the way
- 1:18:18Speaker 1: that he needs to be talked to you, because you
- 1:18:20Speaker 1: need somebody that might accidentally cuss, yeah, or just cuss
- 1:18:25Speaker 1: on purpose. You're free to vote whoever you want to
- 1:18:28Speaker 1: vote for. I'm just giving you my opinion. But that's all.
- 1:18:33Speaker 1: The reason I would vote for Biden is because I
- 1:18:36Speaker 1: think he gives us the best chance to beat Donald Trump.
- 1:18:40Speaker 1: That's the reason Bernie saying they're gonna running. See we
- 1:18:47Speaker 1: at the point now what we gotta thinking about who's
- 1:18:49Speaker 1: the most electable candidate? Because let me speak, Can I
- 1:18:53Speaker 1: say something? I like everybody getting free medical and free medical.
- 1:18:59Speaker 1: I like everybody to go into college free but it's
- 1:19:02Speaker 1: not going to happen in the United States because there's
- 1:19:07Speaker 1: too many people making money off education. You saw what
- 1:19:10Speaker 1: happened to them celebrities, they paid money for their keys
- 1:19:14Speaker 1: to scandal. Come on, man, this is a huge racket.
- 1:19:19Speaker 1: These people that have this racket are not gonna let
- 1:19:22Speaker 1: this go. Nobody's giving you free medical when they're making
- 1:19:26Speaker 1: so much money on healthcare. Coming up, our last break
- 1:19:30Speaker 1: of the day and some closing remarks from the one
- 1:19:33Speaker 1: and only Steve Harvey at forty nine minutes after right
- 1:19:36Speaker 1: after this, you're listening all right here we are last
- 1:19:41Speaker 1: break of the day. You know what time it is.
- 1:19:43Speaker 1: It is time for Steve's very insightful clothes in remarks. Uh,
- 1:19:48Speaker 1: you know today, I want to just this is real simple.
- 1:19:53Speaker 1: This is probably gonna be my most my most just
- 1:19:57Speaker 1: grassroots attack of a situation that I've ever used, because
- 1:20:04Speaker 1: I'm not gonna put it into story form. I'm not
- 1:20:08Speaker 1: gonna put it into centers form. I'm gonna just let
- 1:20:10Speaker 1: you pick how you want to look at it. Procrastination
- 1:20:19Speaker 1: it's one of the big killers of the dream. Procrastination
- 1:20:24Speaker 1: is one of the great killers of the goal. Procrastination
- 1:20:29Speaker 1: it's one of the great killers of success because you
- 1:20:34Speaker 1: never ever start, you cannot a sure failure. More so
- 1:20:43Speaker 1: than by not starting procrastination, everybody won't it. Want to
- 1:20:50Speaker 1: pick the perfect time to start. Want to make sure
- 1:20:53Speaker 1: all the ducks lined up in a row. I want
- 1:20:56Speaker 1: to make sure, man, that everybody is in order. You
- 1:20:58Speaker 1: got an all out before you start. You're never gonna start,
- 1:21:02Speaker 1: You're never gonna win, You're never gonna be successful. Here's
- 1:21:06Speaker 1: a list of words that's meant to encourage you so
- 1:21:12Speaker 1: you can stop procrastinating. Attack. If you want to succeed,
- 1:21:19Speaker 1: you have to attack. Kill it. You gotta go after
- 1:21:25Speaker 1: it out there. You got to kill it. You got
- 1:21:29Speaker 1: to be about it. Man. Here's another one. Get at it.
- 1:21:33Speaker 1: Pick whichever one of these floats your boat. Get at it.
- 1:21:37Speaker 1: I'm trying to get you all to stop procrastinating. Now
- 1:21:41Speaker 1: is the time. Don't delay, get at it, kill it, attack,
- 1:21:51Speaker 1: knock it out the park, knock it out the park.
- 1:21:59Speaker 1: Let's go. Let's go, man, let's go, Come on now,
- 1:22:09Speaker 1: just come on now. What you're waiting on? What you're
- 1:22:14Speaker 1: waiting on? Man? Stop tripping, because when you trip, you
- 1:22:22Speaker 1: cause yourself to delay. You tripping. Stop tripping. What you're
- 1:22:27Speaker 1: waiting for, Get at it, attack, kill it, don't delay,
- 1:22:32Speaker 1: knock it out the park. What you're waiting for? Stop tripping?
- 1:22:35Speaker 1: Come on now, let's go attack, get at it. Pick
- 1:22:39Speaker 1: any one of them you want, but stop procrastinating. The
- 1:22:46Speaker 1: best time is right now start it today. You're tripping. Man,
- 1:22:54Speaker 1: You tripping, You can't. It won't come to you less
- 1:22:58Speaker 1: you go get it. It's not gonna happen unless you
- 1:23:02Speaker 1: get with it. It's nothing is gonna happen unless you
- 1:23:06Speaker 1: start it. Please do not tie your success to somebody
- 1:23:11Speaker 1: else showing up. Oh man, Because suppose they procrastinate, Suppose
- 1:23:15Speaker 1: they have step, Suppose something happened to them. Suppose they
- 1:23:18Speaker 1: give you that unacceptable excuse. Because excuses are only good
- 1:23:23Speaker 1: for the person that provides them. It does you no good.
- 1:23:27Speaker 1: So why would you give them to yourself? What is
- 1:23:31Speaker 1: your reason for not going after what it is you
- 1:23:33Speaker 1: want to go for to date? What's stopping you from
- 1:23:37Speaker 1: starting the process today? Oh oh, you don't have all
- 1:23:43Speaker 1: your ducks lined up in a row. You don't see
- 1:23:46Speaker 1: how you can get to the finish line. You haven't
- 1:23:49Speaker 1: figured out each and every step, So you think that
- 1:23:53Speaker 1: you can sit there and map out success from start
- 1:23:57Speaker 1: to finish, and it'll happen. I have news for you.
- 1:24:00Speaker 1: You can't. You just gotta get started. Stop procrastinate, y'all.
- 1:24:08Speaker 1: Get at it, Attack it, kill it, don't delay, Knock
- 1:24:13Speaker 1: it out the park. What you're waiting for? Stop tripping?
- 1:24:16Speaker 1: Come on, man, let's go do something now. That's the
- 1:24:21Speaker 1: best thing I can give you. Now. You pick whatever
- 1:24:23Speaker 1: one of those you need that floats your boat today
- 1:24:27Speaker 1: and get at it. But if you don't start today,
- 1:24:31Speaker 1: you're gonna have that same excuse for not starting tomorrow.
- 1:24:35Speaker 1: And once you get comfortable making excuses, you become really
- 1:24:39Speaker 1: good at it. And then after a while the excuses
- 1:24:44Speaker 1: just become justification and once you can justify, oh, it's
- 1:24:49Speaker 1: all makes sense now, don't it. That's the danger of procrastination.
- 1:24:54Speaker 1: It allows you to justify why you haven't done it,
- 1:24:58Speaker 1: and if you can justify it sounds a lot better
- 1:25:00Speaker 1: than it. It's raining today. I ain't going down there
- 1:25:06Speaker 1: to day. Man, it's raining. I'm gonna start working out tomorrow.

- 1:25:31Speaker 1: soon as soon we get off the air. Yeah, I
- 1:25:33Speaker 1: just I talked myself into something else just right now.
- 1:25:37Speaker 1: I'm gonna go get at it. Man. What you're waiting for?
