- 0:01Speaker 1: Operation Epic Fury is ahead of schedule. President Trump said
- 0:05Speaker 1: in a new interview. Dozens of senior Ranian leaders have
- 0:10Speaker 1: been killed, and Israel hits back hard against Hezbolah Pete
- 0:14Speaker 1: headset vows no nation building is happening, and Marco Rubio
- 0:19Speaker 1: is telling Americans to evacuate multiple Midist cities. Also, the
- 0:24Speaker 1: US Embassy has been targeted by Iranian drones inn RIOD.
- 0:30Speaker 1: This also comes as new news is broken Sentcom says
- 0:34Speaker 1: that Tehran's Gulf of Oman fleet has been completely wiped out.
- 0:39Speaker 1: Zero ships remain as US hits one thousand, two hundred
- 0:44Speaker 1: and fifty plus targets in Iran. The US Central Command
- 0:47Speaker 1: declaring that Iran's naval presence in the Gulf of Oman
- 0:51Speaker 1: has literally been reduced to quote zero in the strategic
- 0:55Speaker 1: waterway at the outset of Operation Epic Fury was destroyed
- 1:00Speaker 1: as American forces struck more than the one two hundred
- 1:03Speaker 1: and fifty targets in the first forty eight hours of
- 1:05Speaker 1: the campaign. Posting on the third day of operations, United
- 1:09Speaker 1: States Central Command wrote on x two days ago, the
- 1:12Speaker 1: Iranian regime had eleven ships in the Gulf of Oman.
- 1:15Speaker 1: Today they have zero or, as one of the memes said,
- 1:19Speaker 1: the US military does a magic trick turning ships into submarines.
- 1:24Speaker 2: The Iranian regime.
- 1:25Speaker 1: Is harassed and attacked international shipping and the Gulf of
- 1:28Speaker 1: Oman for decades.
- 1:30Speaker 2: Those days are over.
- 1:31Speaker 1: The command added, freedom of maritime navigation has underpin American
- 1:36Speaker 1: and global economic prosperity for more than eighty years. US
- 1:41Speaker 1: forces will continue to defend it. The statement was accompanied
- 1:44Speaker 1: by newly released video footage appearing to show precision strikes
- 1:48Speaker 1: hitting docked Iranian vessels and shoreline navy infrastructure as well.
- 1:53Speaker 1: According to Sincom, all Iranian naval vessels stationed in the
- 1:57Speaker 1: Gulf of Oman when the operation began on Saturday have
- 2:01Speaker 1: been sunk. The destroyed ships reportedly included major surface combatants
- 2:05Speaker 1: and several vessels long used by Tehran to specifically harass
- 2:11Speaker 1: commercial shipping and conduct drone and missile operations in regional
- 2:16Speaker 1: waters now. The announcement also comes as President Trump has
- 2:19Speaker 1: made clear that dismantling Iran's naval capabilities was a central
- 2:24Speaker 1: objective of the campaign. Speaking Monday, President Trump said US
- 2:31Speaker 1: forces are annihilating their navy. Here's more of the president
- 2:35Speaker 1: in his own words.
- 2:36Speaker 3: For almost forty seven years's regime has been attacking the
- 2:41Speaker 3: United States and killing Americans. Every time you see someone
- 2:45Speaker 3: with missing arms and legs or a face that's been
- 2:48Speaker 3: absolutely shattered violently, it was almost certainly caused by an
- 2:53Speaker 3: Iran roadside bomb. They were put there by General Solomony,
- 3:01Speaker 3: who was the father of the roadside bomb. Very proudly
- 3:05Speaker 3: he thought, but I terminated him and my first term,
- 3:12Speaker 3: this was our last best chance to strike what we're
- 3:16Speaker 3: doing right now and eliminate the intolerable threats posed by
- 3:20Speaker 3: this sick and sinister regime, and they are indeed sick
- 3:25Speaker 3: and sinister. Our objectives are clear.
- 3:28Speaker 2: First, were.
- 3:30Speaker 3: Destroying Orens missile capabilities, and you see that happening on
- 3:34Speaker 3: an hourly basis, and their capacity to produce brand new
- 3:38Speaker 3: ones and pretty good ones they make. Second, we're annihilating
- 3:43Speaker 3: their navy. We've knocked out already ten ships. They're at
- 3:47Speaker 3: the bottom of the sea. Third, we're ensuring that the
- 3:50Speaker 3: world's number one sponsor of terra can never obtain a
- 3:55Speaker 3: nuclear weapon. Never going to have a nuclear weapon. I
- 3:58Speaker 3: said that from the beginning they're never going to have
- 4:00Speaker 3: a nuclear weapon. They were on the road to getting one,
- 4:04Speaker 3: legitimately through a deal that was signed foolishly by our country.
- 4:10Speaker 3: And finally we're ensuring that the Iranian regime cannot continue
- 4:15Speaker 3: to arm, fund, and direct terrorist armies outside of their borders.
- 4:21Speaker 3: And we thought we had a deal, but then they
- 4:23Speaker 3: backed out, and they came back, and we thought we
- 4:26Speaker 3: had a deal, and they backed out. I said, you
- 4:28Speaker 3: can't deal with these people. Got to do it the
- 4:30Speaker 3: right way. Today, we grieve for the four heroic American
- 4:35Speaker 3: service members who have been killed in action and send
- 4:38Speaker 3: our love and support to their families in their memory.
- 4:43Speaker 3: We continue this mission with ferocious, unyielding resolve to crush
- 4:48Speaker 3: the threat this terrorist regime poses to the American people,
- 4:52Speaker 3: and a threat indeed, it.
- 4:54Speaker 1: Is President Trump saying that from the White House, the
- 4:58Speaker 1: Gulf of them On links the Arabians see to the
- 5:00Speaker 1: Strait of Hormuz. That's a corridor through which roughly one
- 5:04Speaker 1: fifth of the world's oil supply passes, giving the destruction
- 5:09Speaker 1: of Tehran's fleet immediate strategic and economic significance. The naval
- 5:13Speaker 1: campaign is part of a much broader assault as well.
- 5:17Speaker 1: In a fact sheet released early Monday, Sentcom confirmed that
- 5:21Speaker 1: US force has struck more than one thousand, two hundred
- 5:24Speaker 1: and fifty targets during the first forty eight hours of
- 5:26Speaker 1: Operation Epic Fury, up for more than one thousand in
- 5:30Speaker 1: the opening twenty four hours alone. Those targets included the
- 5:34Speaker 1: Islamic Revolutionary Guard core headquarters and command and control centers,
- 5:39Speaker 1: ballistic metal production and launch sites, naval vessels and submarines,
- 5:44Speaker 1: anti ship missile facilities, air defense systems, and communication infrastructure
- 5:49Speaker 1: as well. The campaign has involved B two stealth bombers,
- 5:53Speaker 1: F thirty five fighter jets, Reaper drones, and naval strike
- 5:58Speaker 1: platforms operating across multiple theaters as US forces moved to
- 6:03Speaker 1: dismantled assets deemed to pose imminent threats to American forces,
- 6:09Speaker 1: our allies, and international maritime navigation. Operation Epic Fury began
- 6:15Speaker 1: over the weekend with coordinated US Israeli strikes that eliminate
- 6:18Speaker 1: at least forty eight senior Iranian officials. That number is
- 6:23Speaker 1: now rising and include the Supreme Leader Kolamani, dealing the
- 6:27Speaker 1: regime an unprecedented decapitation blow at the outset of the campaign.
- 6:33Speaker 1: The destruction of Terran's gould fleet builds on those opening strikes,
- 6:37Speaker 1: which targeted senior leadership, command and control centers, missile sites,
- 6:42Speaker 1: and other military infrastructure, underscoring the breadth and sequence of
- 6:46Speaker 1: operations the Pentagon said during the first forty eight hours.
- 6:50Speaker 1: Israeli intelligence officials later described the opening assault as a
- 6:55Speaker 1: carefully time strike launched an unexpected hour while senior leadership
- 7:01Speaker 1: was gathered in one location, a rare convergence that allowed
- 7:05Speaker 1: multiple top figures to be taken out simultaneously. Major General Binder,
- 7:10Speaker 1: head of Israel's defense intelligence doctorate, said more than forty
- 7:15Speaker 1: of ran'smost senior figures were eliminated in roughly forty seconds
- 7:19Speaker 1: during the one coordinated strike, underscoring what he described as
- 7:23Speaker 1: the depth and precision of the intelligence effort, saying, quote,
- 7:27Speaker 1: there is no place where we will not find them,
- 7:30Speaker 1: warning that additional targets are being identified daily. Trump's signal
- 7:34Speaker 1: Monday that the current phase represents only the beginning. President
- 7:39Speaker 1: Trump also says the Iranian people should stay inside.
- 7:42Speaker 2: It's not safe out there. As he describes what is happening.
- 7:46Speaker 4: He said, yes, the President says, yes, we are, indeed,
- 7:49Speaker 4: but right now we want everyone staying inside. It's not
- 7:52Speaker 4: safe out there. And then the President said it's about
- 7:56Speaker 4: to get even less safe. He said, quote, we haven't
- 7:58Speaker 4: even started hitting them hard. The big wave hasn't even happened.
- 8:03Speaker 4: The big one is coming soon.
- 8:06Speaker 2: Very clear.
- 8:06Speaker 1: As the President was talking with CNN's Jake Tapper in
- 8:09Speaker 1: that interview, saying this is just the beginning. We're knocking
- 8:13Speaker 1: the crap out of them, he said, we haven't even
- 8:14Speaker 1: started hitting them hard. The big wave hasn't even happened,
- 8:18Speaker 1: and the big ones coming soon. With the RAMS golf
- 8:21Speaker 1: fleet erased and more than one two hundred and fifty
- 8:24Speaker 1: military targets struck in two days, US officials are making
- 8:28Speaker 1: it clear that while the maritime adjective has been achieved,
- 8:31Speaker 1: the broader campaign is only accelerating at this hour, which
- 8:36Speaker 1: brings us to a very important aspect of the conversation.
- 8:40Speaker 1: I want to change hears and talk about what the
- 8:43Speaker 1: Pentagon is saying about this military operation. Many may not
- 8:48Speaker 1: know exactly what the Pentagon has said, and Pentagon officials
- 8:51Speaker 1: held a briefing after the beginning of the US and
- 8:55Speaker 1: Israel strike on Iram. You'll hear the Secretary of warpete
- 8:59Speaker 1: Headseth first speaking, and then you'll hear others at the
- 9:03Speaker 1: Pentagon briefing as well listen to what they had to say.
- 9:09Speaker 5: Well, good morning now.
- 9:10Speaker 6: We just finished an update with Admiral Brad Cooper, the
- 9:12Speaker 6: sent Coom commander across the centcom aoar our leadership and troops,
- 9:16Speaker 6: as you would expect, doing a fantastic job. Two days ago,
- 9:21Speaker 6: under the direction and direct orders of President Donald J. Trump,
- 9:24Speaker 6: the Department of War launched Operation Epic Fury, the most lethal,
- 9:29Speaker 6: most complex, and most precise aerial operation in history. For
- 9:35Speaker 6: forty seven long years, the expansionist and Islamist regime in
- 9:39Speaker 6: Tehran has waged a savage, one sided war against America.
- 9:43Speaker 6: They didn't always declare it openly, except for their constant
- 9:46Speaker 6: chance of death to America. They did it through the
- 9:49Speaker 6: blood of our people, car bombs in Beirut, rocket attacks
- 9:54Speaker 6: on our ships, murders at our embassy's, roadside bombs in
- 9:59Speaker 6: Iraq and Afghanistan, funded and armed by Iranian KOD's force
- 10:04Speaker 6: and IRGC killers. My generation of veterans carried the names
- 10:09Speaker 6: of brothers who never came home, brothers butchered by Iranian
- 10:14Speaker 6: backed roadside bombs and well armed militias, thousands of our own.
- 10:21Speaker 6: We didn't start this war, but under President Trump, we
- 10:24Speaker 6: are finishing it. Their war on Americans has become our
- 10:29Speaker 6: retribution against their Ayatola and his death cult. It took
- 10:35Speaker 6: the forty seventh president, a fighter who always puts America first,
- 10:39Speaker 6: to finally draw the line after forty seven years of
- 10:42Speaker 6: Iranian belligerents. He reminded the world, as he has time
- 10:46Speaker 6: and time again, being an American means something unbreakable. If
- 10:51Speaker 6: you kill Americans, if you threaten Americans anywhere on Earth,
- 10:55Speaker 6: we will hunt you down without apology and without hesitation,
- 11:00Speaker 6: and we will kill you. President Trump has also been
- 11:04Speaker 6: very consistent. Crazy regimes like Iran, hell bent on prophetic
- 11:10Speaker 6: Islamist delusions, cannot have nuclear weapons.
- 11:14Speaker 5: It's common sense, many have said it.
- 11:18Speaker 6: But it takes guts to actually enforce it, and our
- 11:20Speaker 6: president has guts. Iran's stubborn and self evident nuclear pursuits,
- 11:27Speaker 6: their targeting of global shipping lanes, and their swelling arsenal
- 11:30Speaker 6: of ballistic missiles and killer drones were no longer are
- 11:34Speaker 6: no longer tolerable risks. Iran was building powerful missiles and
- 11:40Speaker 6: drones to create a conventional shield for their nuclear black
- 11:44Speaker 6: mail ambitions. Let me say that again, a conventional shield
- 11:49Speaker 6: for their nuclear blackmail ambitions, our bases, our people, our allies,
- 11:55Speaker 6: all in their crosshairs. Iran had a conventional gun to
- 11:59Speaker 6: our head as they tried to lie their way.
- 12:02Speaker 5: To a nuclear bomb.
- 12:03Speaker 6: It almost worked under Obama and his terrible Deal, but
- 12:08Speaker 6: not under this president. Turns out, the regime who chanted
- 12:13Speaker 6: death to America and death to Israel was gifted death
- 12:18Speaker 6: from America and death from Israel. This is not a
- 12:23Speaker 6: so called regime change war, but the regime sure did
- 12:28Speaker 6: change and.
- 12:29Speaker 5: The world is better off for it today.
- 12:33Speaker 6: In their desperation, the enemy is unmasked as Iranian missiles
- 12:38Speaker 6: and drones rained down indiscriminately on the hotels, airports, apartments,
- 12:44Speaker 6: and other civilian targets of their neighbors. Cowardly terrorist tactics
- 12:50Speaker 6: from a regime that for decades has trafficked in cowardly
- 12:54Speaker 6: terrorist tactics lies, death and destruction. To this day, the
- 13:00Speaker 6: Iranian leadership has built nothing except proxies and missiles and
- 13:05Speaker 6: drones and deeply buried nuclear factories and facilities. Peaceful nuclear
- 13:11Speaker 6: ambitions do not need to be buried underneath mountains. Last June,
- 13:17Speaker 6: Operation Midnight Hammer obliterated their nuclear program to rubble afterward,
- 13:23Speaker 6: we told them plainly, that's it.
- 13:25Speaker 5: Now make a deal. They arrogantly refused.
- 13:28Speaker 6: We said, rebuild it, and we'll stop you again, this
- 13:31Speaker 6: time far worse.
- 13:33Speaker 5: Well, President Trump.
- 13:34Speaker 6: Secretary Rubio, Steve Whitcoff, Jared Kushner. They bent over backwards
- 13:39Speaker 6: for real diplomacy, offering pathway after pathway to peace.
- 13:43Speaker 5: I watched it.
- 13:43Speaker 2: I was there.
- 13:45Speaker 6: They tried, over and over and over again, earnest attempts
- 13:49Speaker 6: at peace. The former regime had every chance to make
- 13:53Speaker 6: a peaceful and sensible deal, but Taran.
- 13:57Speaker 5: Was not negotiating.
- 13:59Speaker 6: They were stalled, buying time to reload their missile stockpiles
- 14:03Speaker 6: and restart their nuclear ambitions. Their goal hold US hostage,
- 14:08Speaker 6: threatening to strike our forces. Well, President Trump doesn't play
- 14:14Speaker 6: those games. And as Secretary Rubio said after the Maduro raid,
- 14:18Speaker 6: if you don't know, now you know, President Trump puts
- 14:23Speaker 6: America and Americans first. He doesn't hesitate, and neither do
- 14:28Speaker 6: our troops. The mission of Operation Epic Fury is laser focused.
- 14:33Speaker 6: Destroy Iranian offensive missiles, destroy Iranian missile production, destroy their
- 14:38Speaker 6: navy and other security infrastructure, and they will never have
- 14:42Speaker 6: nuclear weapons.
- 14:44Speaker 5: We're hitting them surgically overwhelmingly.
- 14:47Speaker 2: Do you want to know where to invest one thousand
- 14:49Speaker 2: dollars right now?
- 14:51Speaker 6: With every passing day, our capabilities get stronger and Iran's
- 14:54Speaker 6: get weaker. We set the terms of this war from
- 14:59Speaker 6: start to finish. Our ambitions are not utopian. They are realistic,
- 15:06Speaker 6: scoped to our interests and the defense of our people
- 15:09Speaker 6: and our allies. Speaking of people, we hope the Iranian
- 15:15Speaker 6: people take advantage of this incredible opportunity. President Trump has
- 15:19Speaker 6: been clear, now is your time to Iranian security forces,
- 15:26Speaker 6: choose wisely. President Trump has also been clear about your
- 15:32Speaker 6: fate in either direction.
- 15:36Speaker 5: To the media outlets.
- 15:38Speaker 6: And political left streaming endless wars, stop, this is not
- 15:42Speaker 6: a RAQ, This is not endless. I was there for both.
- 15:47Speaker 6: Our generation knows better, and so does this President. He
- 15:52Speaker 6: called the last twenty years of nation building wars dumb,
- 15:55Speaker 6: and he's right.
- 15:57Speaker 5: This is the opposite.
- 16:00Speaker 6: This operation is a clear, devastating, decisive mission. Destroy the
- 16:05Speaker 6: missile threat, destroy the navy, no nukes. Israel has clear
- 16:10Speaker 6: missions as well, for which we are grateful.
- 16:14Speaker 5: Capable partners.
- 16:15Speaker 6: As we've said since the beginning, capable partners are good partners.
- 16:20Speaker 6: Unlike so many of our traditional allies who wring their
- 16:24Speaker 6: hands and clutch their pearls, hemming and hawing about the
- 16:27Speaker 6: use of force. America, regardless of what so called international
- 16:32Speaker 6: institutions say, is unleashing the most lethal and precise air
- 16:36Speaker 6: power campaign in history. B two's fighters, drones, missiles, and
- 16:41Speaker 6: of course classified effects.
- 16:46Speaker 5: All on our terms, with maximum authorities.
- 16:49Speaker 6: No stupid rules of engagement, no nation building quagmire, no
- 16:53Speaker 6: democracy building exercise, no politically correct wars.
- 16:58Speaker 5: We fight to win, and we don't waste time or lives.
- 17:02Speaker 6: As the President warned, an effort of this scope will
- 17:06Speaker 6: include casualties.
- 17:09Speaker 5: War as hell and always will be.
- 17:13Speaker 1: Pete Hedge sat there, the man in charge of the Pentagon,
- 17:17Speaker 1: the man who's in charge of war, saying war as
- 17:20Speaker 1: hell and it always will be. But making it clear
- 17:23Speaker 1: that Operation Epic Fury is about keeping Americans safe and
- 17:27Speaker 1: our allies from a terrorist organization that has sponsored more
- 17:31Speaker 1: terrorist actions than any other country in my lifetime. And
- 17:36Speaker 1: that is exactly why they're going after Iran. Right now,
- 17:41Speaker 1: sor right, let's talk about the election results that are
- 17:44Speaker 1: coming in from all across the country.
- 17:46Speaker 2: And there's no other way to say this.
- 17:48Speaker 1: It was a very big night for Republicans and for
- 17:53Speaker 1: President Donald Trump's political Maga movement across multiple states. Republican
- 17:59Speaker 1: candidates that were back by President Trump not only one,
- 18:02Speaker 1: they actually won convincingly. And the results show that the
- 18:06Speaker 1: America First Message that Democrats said was already going to
- 18:09Speaker 1: be a disaster is anything but a disaster. America First Message,
- 18:14Speaker 1: by the way, is not just surviving politically, it's literally
- 18:17Speaker 1: after this midterm primary, thriving with voters who are looking
- 18:23Speaker 1: for strong leadership, that are looking for secure borders, that
- 18:27Speaker 1: are looking for an economy that works for working families.
- 18:30Speaker 1: Now we saw some I call them rhinos, establishment people.
- 18:35Speaker 2: They're in serious trouble.
- 18:36Speaker 1: You can look at the Lone Star state where voters
- 18:39Speaker 1: served up I think a prerequisite of what we're going
- 18:42Speaker 1: to witness in the midterm elections. All Right, you had
- 18:46Speaker 1: Republicans and Democrats that decide who they want their candids
- 18:49Speaker 1: to be. For the US Senate race there in Texas,
- 18:52Speaker 1: and this is a big one, you've got an establishment
- 18:54Speaker 1: I call him a bush air Republican Senator John Cornyn.
- 18:58Speaker 1: He's the incumbent from Tech Texas. An insane amount of
- 19:02Speaker 1: money that was spent. I mean, we're talking seventy plus
- 19:05Speaker 1: million dollars fighting for his life against the Texas Attorney
- 19:09Speaker 1: General Ken Paxton, and both of them also faced off
- 19:13Speaker 1: against Representative Wesley Hunt for the GOP primary nomination in Texas.
- 19:19Speaker 2: The top two vote.
- 19:21Speaker 1: Getters, assuming none of them reach at least fifty percent,
- 19:24Speaker 1: which we've seen is now clear, right, then it turns
- 19:27Speaker 1: into a runoff.
- 19:29Speaker 2: Now that runoff we know it's going to be.
- 19:31Speaker 1: It's going to be the incumbent center John Cornyn against
- 19:35Speaker 1: Ken Paxton. Wesley Hunt did not make it right because
- 19:38Speaker 1: he came in third. Now, Paxson has consistently pulled atop
- 19:43Speaker 1: the field from the very beginning, without spending hardly any
- 19:46Speaker 1: money compared to Cornyn. All right, establishment Republicans in Washington.
- 19:51Speaker 1: Their narrative is that Paxson is a weaker general election
- 19:54Speaker 1: candidate and they worry that he may end up quote
- 19:58Speaker 1: opening Texas up to going blue for the first time
- 20:01Speaker 1: in generations, that a Democrat is gonna win. Paxson's seems
- 20:05Speaker 1: like that's that's a lie, that's the establishment. Not only
- 20:08Speaker 1: can he win, but he will win in November, and
- 20:11Speaker 1: if he gets the wins this runoff, like it's game over.
- 20:14Speaker 2: Because he's a Trump conservative candidate.
- 20:17Speaker 1: Now, I think that's pretty clear that's where this is
- 20:20Speaker 1: going to be heading. And Cornyn had to spend so
- 20:22Speaker 1: much money just to survive. I think it's gonna be
- 20:25Speaker 1: very hard for Cornyan to win in in this in
- 20:28Speaker 1: this runoff, because people are like, dude, you did you win?
- 20:31Speaker 2: Like are you winning? Are you buying it right?
- 20:34Speaker 1: When you're spending seventy plus million dollars to get you
- 20:37Speaker 1: there just to get into a runoff, there's a problem
- 20:40Speaker 1: that you have clearly with the voters when you are
- 20:43Speaker 1: the incumbent. The other thing that's interesting is, huh, you
- 20:46Speaker 1: got a guy by the name of Dan Crenshaw. Dan
- 20:49Speaker 1: got abliterated on election night. He's another guy that was
- 20:54Speaker 1: not really with Trump. He's he's loud, he's obnoxious, he's
- 20:57Speaker 1: a you know, get the hell out of my way.
- 20:59Speaker 1: I'm better than you, I'm smarter than you, I'm more intelligent.
- 21:01Speaker 1: You I served my country and you didn't kind of guy.
- 21:04Speaker 1: And that backfired in a big way. So when you
- 21:08Speaker 1: look across Texas, I think that tells you a lot
- 21:10Speaker 1: about what's happening all over the country. Republican candidates that
- 21:14Speaker 1: were backed by President Trump, not only one, they won
- 21:17Speaker 1: convincingly and the America First message is alive in well.
- 21:23Speaker 1: Race after race, candidates to align themselves with Trump's agenda
- 21:27Speaker 1: on energy, independence, law and order, and election integrity were
- 21:31Speaker 1: rewarded by the mid term primary voters. Now, before I
- 21:36Speaker 1: get into more on this, I got a lot more data.
- 21:38Speaker 1: I want to tell you about my friends at Compassion
- 21:40Speaker 1: International and the amazing work they're doing.
- 21:42Speaker 2: All right, Now back to the election results real quick.
- 21:45Speaker 1: These results are being viewed by many analysts, all right
- 21:48Speaker 1: as a clear signal that the Republican base remains not
- 21:51Speaker 1: only energize, but the Donald Trump's influence inside the party
- 21:56Speaker 1: remains incredibly strong heading into the election cycle coming up.
- 21:59Speaker 1: This is exactly why the President is outpacing and out
- 22:03Speaker 1: fundraising the Democratic Party. It's the reason why his endorsement
- 22:07Speaker 1: means everything, and it's also the reason why this midterm
- 22:10Speaker 1: convention that he's planning is going to be significant.
- 22:13Speaker 2: Now, one of the most important trends for the night
- 22:15Speaker 2: is turnout.
- 22:17Speaker 1: Republican voters who the media had said we're going to
- 22:19Speaker 1: stay home showed up, and not just showed up, but
- 22:22Speaker 1: showed up in large numbers. All right, particularly in suburban
- 22:25Speaker 1: and rural counties, where Trump's message resonates strongly with those
- 22:29Speaker 1: hardworking Americans. In many districts, by the way, Republican turnout
- 22:34Speaker 1: dramatically outpaced what Democrats were able to generate as well,
- 22:38Speaker 1: meaning there's an enthusiasm gap in these victories and the
- 22:43Speaker 1: night So that's big. Another key takeaway from these elections
- 22:47Speaker 1: is that the Republican candidate to embrace the Trump agenda,
- 22:51Speaker 1: we're able to consolidate support across the party, all right,
- 22:55Speaker 1: instead of fractured primaries. Many of these racist saw voters
- 22:58Speaker 1: rally behind Canada to I'm to continue the policies and
- 23:03Speaker 1: defending the Trump presidency, defending economic growth, lower taxes, strong
- 23:08Speaker 1: national defense, and putting America first on the global stage.
- 23:12Speaker 1: So for President Trump, tonight's results that he was witnessing
- 23:16Speaker 1: at the White House were another reminder that he's on
- 23:20Speaker 1: the ballot. He remains the most influential figure in the
- 23:23Speaker 1: Republican party period. His endorsement once again carried real weight
- 23:28Speaker 1: with voters, and many candidates openly credit Trump's backing as
- 23:33Speaker 1: a major factor in their victories, as they should politically speaking.
- 23:38Speaker 1: Those that got sideways with the President Cornyn is a
- 23:42Speaker 1: great example of that. In Texas. You know, Dan Crenshaw
- 23:47Speaker 1: is a perfect example of this. Their results, well, it's
- 23:51Speaker 1: in a clear message that if you're out there on
- 23:54Speaker 1: your own and you're fighting against Trump and claiming a Republican,
- 23:57Speaker 1: it's not.
- 23:58Speaker 2: Going to go well for you.
- 24:00Speaker 1: Many of the winning Republican candidates ran campaigns focus on issues,
- 24:03Speaker 1: by the way, that have dominated national debate, the same
- 24:07Speaker 1: issues that Donald Trump voted on, or i should say
- 24:09Speaker 1: ran on and you voted on in the presidential election.
- 24:12Speaker 1: It was inflation, it was crime, it was border security,
- 24:16Speaker 1: cost of living, and when conservative candidates talked about it,
- 24:20Speaker 1: the voter showed up and responded. Now the Republican strategists
- 24:26Speaker 1: are already pointing to these victories is proof that the
- 24:28Speaker 1: political map is not only shifting in their favor in
- 24:33Speaker 1: key states and districts, but the momentum that began during
- 24:36Speaker 1: the Trump presidency is actually continued to shape the party
- 24:40Speaker 1: and the electorate. And that is something that Republicans need
- 24:43Speaker 1: to pay attention to. A lot of times in primaries,
- 24:45Speaker 1: you have conservatives that will run to the right and
- 24:47Speaker 1: then they'll go back to the center for the general election.
- 24:50Speaker 1: That seems to be a bad strategy. All right, So
- 24:54Speaker 1: to recap this for you, I would say tonight's election
- 24:58Speaker 1: results show number one, the Publican party that's way more
- 25:02Speaker 1: energized than anybody wanting to admit. Okay, Number one like
- 25:06Speaker 1: that is huge. They are energized. Number Two, it's unified
- 25:11Speaker 1: the Republican Party around the America First Agenda aka Donald
- 25:16Speaker 1: Trump's agenda. And three, and this is the most important one.
- 25:21Speaker 1: If you try to distance yourself from the political strength
- 25:25Speaker 1: to President Donald Trump, it's game over for you.
- 25:29Speaker 2: Now.
- 25:29Speaker 1: If these results are any indication of what's coming moving
- 25:34Speaker 1: forward and the political battles ahead, it's going to be
- 25:38Speaker 1: fought on terrain that increasingly is favoring Republicans. That is
- 25:43Speaker 1: also the best part about this. Now there's also Democrats.
- 25:45Speaker 1: They got their own issues here, all right, on the
- 25:47Speaker 1: Democrat side. And I'll give you a very quick synopsis
- 25:50Speaker 1: to this, all right, it's really shaping up to be
- 25:53Speaker 1: a battle between former President Barack Obama's pick in Texas,
- 25:58Speaker 1: for example, a guy that is running for Senate, James
- 26:02Speaker 1: Taller Rico, and then the former Vice President Kamala Harris's pick,
- 26:06Speaker 1: the black congresswoman representative Jasmine Crockett, who you probably know
- 26:11Speaker 1: from TV. You look at how different these two candidates are. Okay,
- 26:16Speaker 1: these two candidates are extremely different. The Democratic Party is
- 26:21Speaker 1: trying to decide are they going to be radical extremists
- 26:24Speaker 1: or are they going to try to find candidates that
- 26:25Speaker 1: don't come across as being so extreme. I think that
- 26:31Speaker 1: bodes well for Republican candidates. The Republicans that did well,
- 26:36Speaker 1: they were running on the same message no matter where
- 26:38Speaker 1: they were in the country. The Democrats were running on
- 26:41Speaker 1: their message of Donald Trump, orange man bad, everyone hates
- 26:44Speaker 1: Donald Trump, donald Trump's the worst president in the world,
- 26:47Speaker 1: Donald Trump's a warmongerer. And it did not work well
- 26:51Speaker 1: in the primary it. In fact, the Republicans showed up
- 26:55Speaker 1: in a massive way. Democrats did not. Usually the party
- 27:02Speaker 1: that's in power has the biggest day on election Day.
- 27:06Speaker 1: It's usually a real big concern about what's gonna happen
- 27:09Speaker 1: in the future. None of that was there this time,
- 27:13Speaker 1: and that is a huge moment for people to understand
- 27:16Speaker 1: one thing here. Donald Trump's still in charge of the agenda.
- 27:20Speaker 1: Donald Trump is still in charge of the party. Donald
- 27:24Speaker 1: Trump's agenda is how you get elected, and if you
- 27:27Speaker 1: don't realize that, well, then you're pretty much an idiot.
