- 0:15Speaker 1: the million bucks. Things in the stove stood listening together. Please,
- 0:38Speaker 1: I don't join jo turn you you gotta turn to
- 1:41Speaker 1: turn them out. Turn you haven't got to turn them out?
- 1:45Speaker 1: Then turn the water the water got come come on
- 1:58Speaker 1: your thing? Uhh, I show well a good mind and
- 2:04Speaker 1: everybody you're listening to the voice, come on dig me now,
- 2:09Speaker 1: one and only Steve Harley got a radio show, this
- 2:12Speaker 1: one today. I want to share with you. It's for
- 2:17Speaker 1: all of us, and here it is. There is a
- 2:22Speaker 1: solution to all of your problems in situations. If you
- 2:30Speaker 1: don't know what your next move is, that to go,
- 2:33Speaker 1: I don't I don't care what it is. If if
- 2:36Speaker 1: the relationship you're in is all wrong and you don't
- 2:41Speaker 1: know how to get out of it, it doesn't matter.
- 2:44Speaker 1: There's a solution to all your problems and situations. That
- 2:51Speaker 1: solution to all your problems, that way to make all
- 2:54Speaker 1: your dreams come true. The way around a lot of
- 2:58Speaker 1: this and to the weakness that you feel at times,
- 3:03Speaker 1: it is prayer, prayer, a connection with your creator. Could
- 3:09Speaker 1: that be the thing that's missing in your life. I'm
- 3:13Speaker 1: just asking because whenever I get a little bit off track,
- 3:19Speaker 1: all I gotta do is think, just a moment, Steve,
- 3:24Speaker 1: have you been have you been praying? Man? Have you
- 3:26Speaker 1: been connecting with your creator? I know you're busy, man,
- 3:30Speaker 1: I know you're busy, and I know at the end
- 3:32Speaker 1: of the day you're done. You're done, and sometimes crawling
- 3:37Speaker 1: into bed is all you can manage to do. I've
- 3:40Speaker 1: said this, it happened to me last night. Again. I
- 3:44Speaker 1: did all of this. But when I look and when
- 3:47Speaker 1: I see things not moving, or I don't feel like
- 3:52Speaker 1: things are going in the right direction, or I have
- 3:54Speaker 1: a sense of being stagnant, all I got to do
- 3:57Speaker 1: is retrace it. Because as I'm working, it's no doubt
- 4:01Speaker 1: about that I'm working. But am I staying connected? Am
- 4:06Speaker 1: I using that weapon that's available to all of us?
- 4:10Speaker 1: And I pray? And the answer is usually no? And
- 4:14Speaker 1: so I know, okay, man, I'm getting off track him
- 4:17Speaker 1: because see, let me tell you something, man. The reason
- 4:20Speaker 1: the reason I constantly talk to God is because life
- 4:25Speaker 1: constantly changes. People who said they was going to do
- 4:28Speaker 1: something for you one day have changed their mind. The
- 4:31Speaker 1: next somebody you thought was gonna show up that day
- 4:36Speaker 1: called in late, had an accident and couldn't make it.
- 4:39Speaker 1: That changes the parameters of everything. The meeting you had
- 4:44Speaker 1: set up that had to be canceled because somebody was ill,
- 4:47Speaker 1: That changes the parameters the time frame of everything. Because
- 4:52Speaker 1: it's all connected. So if I don't stay in constant
- 4:56Speaker 1: prayer and stay connected to the creative, when these things happen,
- 5:01Speaker 1: I've not put in my bed, I've not talked to
- 5:03Speaker 1: him about how to handle it, or I'm just not
- 5:06Speaker 1: aware of it and what to do next. And the
- 5:09Speaker 1: next thing you know, it becomes a little stagnant. That
- 5:11Speaker 1: has happened to me. I gotta get back because prayer
- 5:16Speaker 1: is the solution to all of my problems and situations.
- 5:21Speaker 1: I have found that to be the case now. The
- 5:23Speaker 1: only reason I'm telling it to you is because I
- 5:26Speaker 1: know if you anything like me, slash human being, then
- 5:31Speaker 1: there are times that you feel anxious. There's moments of desperation.
- 5:36Speaker 1: You have moments of uncertainty. That are times when you
- 5:40Speaker 1: feel like you've lost your way, or your purpose is
- 5:44Speaker 1: a little blurred, you're not show anymore, or you don't
- 5:49Speaker 1: know what your next move is, or the relationship you in,
- 5:52Speaker 1: or the relationships you're dabbling in, they're just all wrong
- 5:55Speaker 1: for you. Man, there is a solution to all your
- 6:01Speaker 1: problems and situations, and its prayer. If you're suffering from
- 6:06Speaker 1: any of the things I just listed, or any other
- 6:08Speaker 1: thing you could think of, just check your prayer. What
- 6:11Speaker 1: has your prayer been lately? About it? And this is
- 6:15Speaker 1: for everybody. I often find when I get that disconnection, man,
- 6:22Speaker 1: my prayer and slipped off. I started feeling a little
- 6:26Speaker 1: bit less, so I gotta jump back on it. I'm
- 6:28Speaker 1: just offering you a solution to it, man, and and
- 6:31Speaker 1: and and and I'm giving you a solution that works
- 6:34Speaker 1: one a thousand percent. Fust shout. See, I ain't guessing
- 6:39Speaker 1: at this one. I'm telling you what has happened in
- 6:42Speaker 1: my life, how I did it, and it'll do for you.
- 6:45Speaker 1: God has filled with mercy and grace. He knows we
- 6:49Speaker 1: all messed up. He knows all of us have done
- 6:52Speaker 1: some jacked up things that don't nobody know about. He
- 6:56Speaker 1: know all about our past, man, he know all of that.
- 7:00Speaker 1: But He is so full of grace and mercy, so
- 7:04Speaker 1: full of fifty fifth chances. But you know, the thing
- 7:07Speaker 1: about your life though, and the thing I had to
- 7:10Speaker 1: come to terms with, and the reason I don't let
- 7:12Speaker 1: my out of the reason I don't let my past
- 7:14Speaker 1: bury me, The reason I don't let my past define
- 7:18Speaker 1: me is because my past I found out or just
- 7:24Speaker 1: the ingredients needed for me to make this cake I'm
- 7:31Speaker 1: eating now. My past is just my ingredients. See, you
- 7:37Speaker 1: don't get rid of your pass. They they ain't gonna
- 7:41Speaker 1: know where they are the ingredients, but when you put
- 7:43Speaker 1: them with something else, they look better, they taste better,
- 7:47Speaker 1: it is better. All of our past are just the
- 7:52Speaker 1: ingredients that have become the cake we eating now. Now,
- 7:55Speaker 1: if you don't like the way your cake tastes, then
- 7:57Speaker 1: you gotta stop putting some other ingredients in the Just
- 8:00Speaker 1: because you started off and your cake was messed up
- 8:04Speaker 1: don't mean you can't straighten out the flavor of your cake.
- 8:07Speaker 1: You gotta put some different ingredients in there. So let's
- 8:11Speaker 1: say your cake is trifling tasted, it's bitter. Your cake
- 8:15Speaker 1: is bitter, Well, you got to dilute the bitterness. You
- 8:18Speaker 1: gotta put some more goodness in there. So you gotta
- 8:21Speaker 1: put some goodness ingredients to take away the taste of
- 8:25Speaker 1: the bitterness. So you gotta put some different ingredients in there.
- 8:30Speaker 1: You gotta start living your life a little more kindly,
- 8:32Speaker 1: a little more thoughtful, a little more sharing, a little
- 8:35Speaker 1: more caring. And then after a while, man, those new
- 8:39Speaker 1: ingredients combined with that bitter it starts overshadowing the bitter
- 8:43Speaker 1: taste because the bitter taste is further behind you. Now
- 8:47Speaker 1: see something that happened to you twelve fifteen, thirty, twenty five,
- 8:52Speaker 1: sixteen years ago. Ain't got to be the flavor that's
- 8:54Speaker 1: in your mouth now less you let it be. It's
- 8:59Speaker 1: then ingredients. Man, if you're sick, it away your cake
- 9:03Speaker 1: taste and change your ingredients. Put something else in your
- 9:07Speaker 1: cake mix so you can get a better taste. If
- 9:12Speaker 1: you don't like the way your life taste. Pray. I've
- 9:16Speaker 1: been here my mama saying for years. Boy, prayer changes things,
- 9:20Speaker 1: don't my mama, you said to me all the time.
- 9:22Speaker 1: I said to my TV artist, is when they come
- 9:24Speaker 1: see me on the talk show, before I walk on stage,
- 9:27Speaker 1: I tell them these words my mother said, I said,
- 9:30Speaker 1: my mother used to always tell me this, and it's
- 9:32Speaker 1: bailed me out, and it might do the same thing
- 9:34Speaker 1: for you. I say. Whatever I get in trouble. I
- 9:38Speaker 1: hear her words. She says, son, don't forget to pray,
- 9:42Speaker 1: don't be ashamed to pray, and don't be too proud
- 9:46Speaker 1: to pray, because prayer, prayer changes things, and you better
- 9:51Speaker 1: believe something. It one hundred percent showed. Do you're listening?
- 10:01Speaker 1: Good morning everybody. It is Tuesday with her, not that
- 10:05Speaker 1: far away from Christmas. If you're ready? Are you ready?

- 10:11Speaker 1: It's just Steve Harby Morning Show. I'm ready, Jay, let's
- 10:14Speaker 1: do it. Let's go. You're ready for Christmas? All the

- 10:55Speaker 1: I'm ready. You know what this year, I'm not really
- 10:58Speaker 1: I'm not buying a lot of else. I'm just you
- 11:00Speaker 1: know what, no money work. You know the old money
- 11:05Speaker 1: works great, it does money, and you don't have to
- 11:09Speaker 1: wrap money. You gotta wrap money at all. Money don't
- 11:12Speaker 1: need to be wrapped. Oh you mean money as a
- 11:14Speaker 1: gift giving it? Yeah, money as a gift, yes, yes,
- 11:17Speaker 1: just here some money, you know, I say, I'm just

- 18:22Speaker 1: don't you do something? Dog? You shouldn't have been really
- 18:25Speaker 1: talking to me about what you're trying you. I was
- 18:27Speaker 1: selling that same thing to your people. You're trying when
- 18:30Speaker 1: your tie to me and trying still where you're gonna
- 18:33Speaker 1: do something. I'm doing something right now. You aren't get

- 18:39Speaker 1: with your don or whoever you're trying to get it together.
- 18:42Speaker 1: But you're on the phone with me complaining because I
- 18:44Speaker 1: wrote a book. Then don't read the damn book. You
- 18:47Speaker 1: probably ain't read it no way, And don't watch the
- 18:49Speaker 1: TV show. You probably ain't working enough to pretty bild
- 18:52Speaker 1: no high. And let me wait a minute, Joe. You
- 18:54Speaker 1: don't know nothing about me, Okay, you don't know nothing
- 18:56Speaker 1: about my finances. You know what I mean. I won't

- 19:15Speaker 1: when you're giving me face to face, you want to
- 19:17Speaker 1: bring up money. This conciss ain't got nothing to do
- 19:19Speaker 1: about money. I ain't brought him money one time. It's
- 19:21Speaker 1: about man. Who Now, why don't you do that right there?
- 19:24Speaker 1: Wait a minute, No, Steve, it ain't about money now
- 19:26Speaker 1: because you got it. Okay, because you've got it when
- 19:29Speaker 1: you was broke. I bet that when you're at it,
- 19:32Speaker 1: I ain't gonna just what yo, And then just went
- 19:34Speaker 1: to when I was broke though I was working, I
- 19:37Speaker 1: wasn't sitting on the phone crying to some other men
- 19:39Speaker 1: by what he meant to me feel with my wife. Yeah,
- 19:42Speaker 1: had time I take a step forward. You got me
- 19:44Speaker 1: took the two step round. That's why you ain't take
- 19:46Speaker 1: a step. But I'll tell you something, because you got
- 19:50Speaker 1: frank offense you. Oh god, I'm gonna call you back. Dog, Well,
- 20:39Speaker 1: tell me you made it through on that one. You
- 20:41Speaker 1: made it through. Thank you. Coming up next, it is
- 20:44Speaker 1: asked the CLLO, but we're the CLO is not here.
- 20:47Speaker 1: We got a whole bitter man. Ladies and gentlemen. You're
- 20:53Speaker 1: listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show. Coming up at the
- 20:57Speaker 1: top of the hour. Miss Anne is standing by with
- 20:59Speaker 1: our national news and in entertainment news. Congratulations going out
- 21:03Speaker 1: to Megan the Stallion. She is now Megan the Graduate. Wow,
- 21:08Speaker 1: that was really something special to see her walk across
- 21:11Speaker 1: that stage. That's right, Carla is here with today's music news,
- 21:15Speaker 1: and we'll tell you who was named Time Magazines Person
- 21:18Speaker 1: and Heroes of the Year. We'll talk about all of
- 21:20Speaker 1: these stories at the top of the hour, but right
- 21:22Speaker 1: now it's time to ask the bitter man, and what
- 21:27Speaker 1: bitter man? You're not gonna get any help out of this.
- 21:31Speaker 1: I know you're sitting in there. Maybe you help, not
- 21:35Speaker 1: at all, not at all? All. Right, here we go.
- 21:44Speaker 1: This one's from Kila in Memphis. Kila writes, I'm about
- 21:49Speaker 1: to turn thirty in January, and I still live with
- 21:51Speaker 1: my parents because they use me for money. My mother
- 21:54Speaker 1: is always faking an injury of some sort, and my
- 21:57Speaker 1: daddy lives at the casino and spends all all his
- 22:00Speaker 1: money there. Between my mom not being able to work
- 22:04Speaker 1: and my dad losing money, I have chipped in over
- 22:06Speaker 1: half of my salary for the past three years. I'm
- 22:09Speaker 1: ready to move on and get a life, but they
- 22:11Speaker 1: make me feel guilty. What should I do? Well, until
- 22:15Speaker 1: you move out in the real world, you need to
- 22:17Speaker 1: keep giving your parents money. You know what rent is,
- 22:19Speaker 1: what light bill is, gas bill, food? You ain't paying
- 22:23Speaker 1: none of that. You're just giving your parents a little
- 22:25Speaker 1: pocket chain. Shut up, keep paying them. Shut get him
- 22:30Speaker 1: go enjoy his life. Shut up, Shut the hell up,
- 22:33Speaker 1: and let your dad enjoy his life. Right, you've lit
- 22:37Speaker 1: rent free? You know how much rent? In? What city? Is? This?
- 22:40Speaker 1: Does it say? What city? Doesn't change? Memphis? Memphis rint
- 22:44Speaker 1: highs hell in Memphis high hell or not? We don't
- 22:52Speaker 1: know prices. New York rent four thousand dollars of money? Missus?
- 22:57Speaker 1: I know? All right, thanks for your help. Better man,
- 23:05Speaker 1: all right? What hell exactly? Sharonda in a Virginia beach says,
- 23:11Speaker 1: my husband and I are both forty five and have
- 23:14Speaker 1: been married for nine years. He's been asking if we
- 23:17Speaker 1: could do a threesome ever since we visited a strip
- 23:19Speaker 1: club on a recent trip to Vegas. I told him
- 23:23Speaker 1: Vegas would have been the place to do it, but
- 23:25Speaker 1: he missed the opportunity. He's been pouting and won't stop begging.
- 23:29Speaker 1: But I don't want to do it in our own hometown.
- 23:31Speaker 1: Should I give in to him? How long does a
- 23:36Speaker 1: man have to ask for a threesome? I mean, how
- 23:38Speaker 1: long you ask for eggs? You go right in any
- 23:41Speaker 1: kitchen and make the damn eage the ash for state,
- 23:44Speaker 1: will have steak tomorrow? You ask for baked potato? No
- 23:48Speaker 1: problem with threeson? What how long this man? But that's
- 24:00Speaker 1: the answer to the baby. I like to have a
- 24:06Speaker 1: chocolate cake next week, no problem? Should I make it?
- 24:10Speaker 1: But as you so, she's asking why we gotta go somewhere?
- 24:26Speaker 1: What's wrong? That's the you know what. That's why people
- 24:29Speaker 1: work to enjoy their home. That's why you put up
- 24:32Speaker 1: flat screen. That's why you get surround sound, you decorate.
- 24:36Speaker 1: Why don't you want to do this in your home?
- 24:37Speaker 1: This is what your home is for, to enjoy your home.
- 24:43Speaker 1: You get it? What up the hell? Now? She wants
- 24:49Speaker 1: to go back to Sin City and sin that's what
- 24:53Speaker 1: nobody gonna fly. Alloway, Look the threesomes in the city.
- 24:56Speaker 1: Why we gotta fly some damn place out to get
- 24:58Speaker 1: another person when they r hit that don't make no
- 25:01Speaker 1: damn system and everybody. You can get a quiet threesome.
- 25:06Speaker 1: They are people who let me get a quiet threesome.
- 25:12Speaker 1: Ply all right. I like a quiet threesome, ply all right.
- 25:20Speaker 1: I love it, like in the movie, like in the
- 25:23Speaker 1: movie Color. You better not never tell nobody to kill
- 25:26Speaker 1: your mama, So all right, moving on because he's not
- 25:31Speaker 1: trying to help. Telicia and Nashville says, I'm thirty three
- 25:35Speaker 1: years old and I was out with a guy I
- 25:36Speaker 1: met online and his ex girlfriend kept calling his phone.
- 25:40Speaker 1: It wasn't until he answered her call that I got
- 25:42Speaker 1: really irritated. He told her he had moved on and
- 25:45Speaker 1: she was going to have to deal with that. Is
- 25:48Speaker 1: he handling this correctly or will she continue to be
- 25:50Speaker 1: a problem if we end up dating. Man, depend on
- 25:54Speaker 1: how good that was, depending on how good that ex
- 25:56Speaker 1: girlfriend was. I don't know. You might have problems. You
- 25:59Speaker 1: have not up to the standards of the girlfriend. You
- 26:02Speaker 1: might have a problem. That's why she's calling because and
- 26:05Speaker 1: that's why he answered, because it sake is damn good.
- 26:07Speaker 1: He's like, whoa, let me answer this. Who remember at
- 26:14Speaker 1: that phone? Okay, she's still carling. Damn you gotta answer
- 26:22Speaker 1: a good booty, though, you gotta answer, you gotta answer,
- 26:25Speaker 1: good booty. But the proper thing to do, the proper
- 26:30Speaker 1: thing to do was to turn your back. Hello, I
- 26:33Speaker 1: can't talk right now. Are you turning your back to
- 26:36Speaker 1: the still in front of her? Yeah, I am. I'm
- 26:38Speaker 1: going all the way with the bid. That's it. I
- 26:44Speaker 1: love it, all right, So she will continue to be
- 26:50Speaker 1: a problem. Oh yeah, she's gonna be a problem, all right,
- 26:53Speaker 1: all right. Uh, moving on to Sugar Pie and Monroe, Louisiana.
- 26:57Speaker 1: Sugar Pie says, I've been married for almost fifteen years,
- 27:00Speaker 1: and I'm having an affair with an older man that
- 27:03Speaker 1: happens to be my father's best friend. My father caught
- 27:06Speaker 1: me over to his friend's place last weekend, and I
- 27:08Speaker 1: told him I stopped by the check on him because
- 27:10Speaker 1: I was in the area. My father called me later
- 27:13Speaker 1: that day and asked me what was up. I don't
- 27:15Speaker 1: lie to my father, so I've been avoiding him. My
- 27:17Speaker 1: father would definitely tell my husband should I confess or not? Now,
- 27:24Speaker 1: come on over again. He's not here today, but we
- 27:29Speaker 1: will continue this right timey, You don't confess a damn thing.
- 27:33Speaker 1: But next time you go over there in your daddy
- 27:35Speaker 1: shows up, have some medication in the bag. It don't
- 27:38Speaker 1: matter what it is. Just have some sort of save
- 27:40Speaker 1: or some peels or something, you know, when you go
- 27:42Speaker 1: over there, so that he'll know that you you really
- 27:45Speaker 1: checking on him. Go ahead, time, what you got what
- 27:47Speaker 1: a name like sugar Pie it's just it's hard to
- 27:51Speaker 1: resist who already know you what you got that old man,
- 27:57Speaker 1: sugar Pie? You know when her name sugar back, you
- 28:02Speaker 1: getting all of one of them checks? Yeah, keeping I
- 28:10Speaker 1: didn't had a lot of names, but I ain't never
- 28:12Speaker 1: sugar pie, sugar let me, let me just make this
- 28:16Speaker 1: outter you good. You got me writing and cursed it
- 28:22Speaker 1: up in here. Girl. They don't even do that anymore.
- 28:25Speaker 1: They don't do that. No, you ket me right. I
- 28:32Speaker 1: do like the name sugar pie I got. I don't.
- 28:34Speaker 1: Don't make your daddy's friendship with this guy. No, your
- 28:37Speaker 1: daddy needs a friend and homeboy I needs a level.
- 28:41Speaker 1: So don't tell her dad. Don't tell her this m
- 28:44Speaker 1: time she ever lies to her dad because she says, yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 28:50Speaker 1: that's yes, Monroe. Are you glad to your daddy? Your
- 28:54Speaker 1: first damn time landing your dad. She doesn't like to
- 28:57Speaker 1: her dad. She said that she and bad. Yeah, I'm
- 29:01Speaker 1: taking a road trip to mon road out what I'm doing?
- 29:04Speaker 1: All right, hey, sugar Pie, All right back, thanks bitter man.

- 32:03Speaker 1: that you read alone was trying to give me be
- 32:09Speaker 1: so strong, I really kind with so much. I wrote
- 32:20Speaker 1: these lyrics and they sang them, and they started, I
- 32:23Speaker 1: don't even get my royalties no more. And you're you're
- 32:27Speaker 1: a little early, so your little rasp your voice had.
- 32:30Speaker 1: It doesn't matter when I wrote it. I signed perfect.
- 32:33Speaker 1: When I wrote shirt, I was in the group. I
- 32:35Speaker 1: remember when we put the group together. We was in
- 32:37Speaker 1: North Carolina. I was there performing. I said, hey, we
- 32:40Speaker 1: should start from Yeah, I know, but I was performing
- 32:42Speaker 1: in North Carolina. He started man and just to be safe, yeah, yeah,
- 32:49Speaker 1: just to be safe. They're gonna perform only on flat
- 32:52Speaker 1: services so that you nobody falling. We just got back together, Jay,
- 32:59Speaker 1: don't do us like that. Thank you, Carla, and congratulations
- 33:07Speaker 1: Junior and Joda. See all right, ladies and Junior and Judy. Jay,
- 33:16Speaker 1: it is time for today's headline. Let's go all right,
- 33:19Speaker 1: everybody getting ready for the news. It's time for miss
- 33:21Speaker 1: and trip. Okay, thanks everybody, This is a trip with
- 33:24Speaker 1: the news. Let's shift to Kentucky real quick. National guardsmen
- 33:27Speaker 1: have been joined now by hundreds of state employees and
- 33:30Speaker 1: rescue workers from not just Kentucky, but from neighboring states,
- 33:33Speaker 1: all are working together. They're looking for survivors of Friday's
- 33:37Speaker 1: multi tornado disaster, but they're also clearing the roads and
- 33:40Speaker 1: making sure that those who have lost their homes, if
- 33:43Speaker 1: they're still in the area, that they have food and
- 33:45Speaker 1: in someplace to sleep. Governor Andy Basher says at least
- 33:48Speaker 1: four twisters roared through his state and that one of
- 33:51Speaker 1: the systems dragged along the ground for some two hundred miles,
- 33:55Speaker 1: wiping out everything in its path. So Sadley, the governor, says,
- 33:59Speaker 1: it could be weak before the final death toll is known,
- 34:01Speaker 1: although what is known is that this guy, this tornado,
- 34:05Speaker 1: who was a killer. The ace range is five months
- 34:10Speaker 1: to eighty six years, and six are younger than eighteen.
- 34:13Speaker 1: And you can hear him there. He's choking back tears there.
- 34:15Speaker 1: They confirmed death toll is now sixty four, but that
- 34:18Speaker 1: number is expected to rise in rather quickly. Several other
- 34:21Speaker 1: states in the South and Midwest were also smacked by
- 34:25Speaker 1: a bunch of tornadoes this past weekend, and there are
- 34:27Speaker 1: also casualties there. In Washington, a House panel investigating the
- 34:31Speaker 1: January sixth insurrection says it has no other option than
- 34:34Speaker 1: to issue a criminal contempt referral for former White House
- 34:38Speaker 1: Chief of Staff Mark Meadows to the full House. The
- 34:41Speaker 1: move comes after Meadows abruptly refused to testify before the panel.
- 34:44Speaker 1: He's claiming executive privilege. The legislators wanted to question him
- 34:49Speaker 1: about the documents he initially turned over to the panel,
- 34:52Speaker 1: but has since filed a lawsuit about and also filed
- 34:55Speaker 1: a lawsuit against House Speaker Nancy Pelosi to try and
- 34:58Speaker 1: block the panel subpoenas about all stuff. Mark Meadows is
- 35:01Speaker 1: not the first person from the Trump administration to face
- 35:04Speaker 1: contempt charges in connection with January sixth. Former White House
- 35:07Speaker 1: Advisor Steve Bannon was also cited for contempt, and he
- 35:10Speaker 1: has also since been indicted. The US Supreme Court voted
- 35:13Speaker 1: to allow Texas his new abortion law to remain an
- 35:16Speaker 1: effect on Friday last Friday while a challenge while is
- 35:19Speaker 1: challenged in the courts, but the Texas law bands abortions
- 35:23Speaker 1: after six weeks, which for most women don't even know
- 35:25Speaker 1: they're pregnant six weeks, and also empowers any average citizen
- 35:28Speaker 1: to enforce it. By bringing a civil suit against those
- 35:31Speaker 1: inviolation of the new law. But now get this, California
- 35:34Speaker 1: Governor Gavin Newsom says he's going to take a page
- 35:36Speaker 1: from what they're doing in Texas, but aiming at the
- 35:39Speaker 1: gun industry. Governor Newsom says he's pushing for a law
- 35:42Speaker 1: in his state aimed at empowering citizens to initiate civil
- 35:46Speaker 1: suits against gun manufacturers, gun distributors, and gun sellers. I
- 35:50Speaker 1: guess what's good for the goose is good for the gander. Finally,
- 35:52Speaker 1: nominations from the seventy ninth Annual Golden Globes announced yesterday.
- 35:55Speaker 1: The celebrity making those announcements sometime actor Snoop Dog in
- 35:59Speaker 1: a flight being affleck my fault. Stuff A little, just
- 36:04Speaker 1: a little they handed out by the way, January nice.
- 36:06Speaker 1: Now back to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. You're listening
- 36:09Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, Tommy come on, introduced
- 36:13Speaker 1: the President and CEO of Team Tommy. Please, well, you
- 36:17Speaker 1: already know what it is. Ladies and gentlemen, put it on.
- 36:19Speaker 1: Buckle up, strap up, do what you've got to do,
- 36:21Speaker 1: because we're going deep into the mind the one and
- 36:24Speaker 1: only Jay Anthony Brown all right, everybody listening up. It's
- 36:28Speaker 1: the holiday bundle hotted than the mofo hot sauce order
- 36:31Speaker 1: right now. I can get it to you by Christmas.
- 36:33Speaker 1: Please do it. I gotta buy maybe seventy five left bundles. Anyway,
- 36:38Speaker 1: He's what I want to talk about today. And we
- 36:40Speaker 1: were talking about this early in the beginning of the show.
- 36:42Speaker 1: We're talking about Christmas decorations. And I think, Carla, you
- 36:44Speaker 1: made the statement that the more you put up, yes,
- 36:48Speaker 1: the more you have to take down. That's right. So
- 36:50Speaker 1: I cut back. Well, I did some research and I
- 36:52Speaker 1: found out that these line blow up decorations are about
- 36:57Speaker 1: twenty years old, no more more than that. But they're
- 37:02Speaker 1: getting out of hand. They're out of hell, clons. The
- 37:04Speaker 1: ridiculousness was only in your house or in your window.
- 37:06Speaker 1: You saw it. Now you're driving down the street, you
- 37:08Speaker 1: seeing Darth Vader next to a big ass candle and
- 37:13Speaker 1: the jack in the box. These things do not go
- 37:16Speaker 1: together at all, and and and the reindeer bobbing and down.
- 37:22Speaker 1: I don't know what the hell that's about. I don't
- 37:24Speaker 1: I have no idea what's going on now. And people
- 37:27Speaker 1: who have these LN toys out there look out the
- 37:30Speaker 1: window and see how your lon toy is doing. Because
- 37:32Speaker 1: if it don't have air in it, it looked like
- 37:35Speaker 1: Santa Claus have a hangover. Okay, it looks like here
- 37:38Speaker 1: looks like her. So oh, just look out the window
- 37:45Speaker 1: and see what Santa Claus is doing. It's ridiculous, man,
- 37:50Speaker 1: you sometimes Santa claus head is back like that. Man y, yeah,
- 38:02Speaker 1: you got you got one wise man. I mean, come on, people, now,
- 38:05Speaker 1: let's give me a theme. And these lights. Get these lights?
- 38:09Speaker 1: You really don't give a damn about these lights. You're
- 38:12Speaker 1: taking a handful of lights. You're throwing them into bushes
- 38:15Speaker 1: and you take your hands back in the house. That's
- 38:17Speaker 1: all you're doing. There's no theme at all. You just
- 38:22Speaker 1: whop back in the house. Lights on one bush. You
- 38:25Speaker 1: got one bush? And why would you buy only two
- 38:30Speaker 1: icicles that are working on the left side of the
- 38:32Speaker 1: house and nobody can see. Why would you strifights? Just
- 38:39Speaker 1: strifling up and let me tell you something. Cotton, it's
- 38:44Speaker 1: not snow. Okayno, it's cotton. Okay, cotton. All I gotta say, look,
- 38:57Speaker 1: you gotta do better with these crew to decorations. Really
- 39:00Speaker 1: have got it to do better. Ve ry Christmas babies.
- 39:10Speaker 1: I can't believe every year we say this though, are
- 39:14Speaker 1: we ever going to be ready for Christmas? All right?
- 39:17Speaker 1: Thank you Jay. Coming up at thirty four minutes after
- 39:20Speaker 1: the hour, how to deal with rude relatives during the holidays.
- 39:23Speaker 1: We're going to keep that thing going. We'll talk about
- 39:25Speaker 1: it right after this. You're listening to the Stave Harvey
- 39:28Speaker 1: Morning Show. Question, Guys, is it really a family holiday
- 39:33Speaker 1: gathering if some relative doesn't offer an unsolicited comment about
- 39:37Speaker 1: your life? Think about it? Okay, many of us have
- 39:40Speaker 1: come to expect annoying, rude or insensitive questions or comments
- 39:44Speaker 1: from extended family members who don't seem to realize how
- 39:47Speaker 1: inappropriate their remarks are. Year after year. We got to
- 39:51Speaker 1: deal with this. So when your aunt starts talking, here's
- 39:55Speaker 1: how to handle it, or your uncle whoever, according to therapists.
- 40:00Speaker 1: And then we'll let the guys give their response of
- 40:02Speaker 1: what to say as well. So say, for instance, your
- 40:05Speaker 1: honor uncle comes up to you and says, looks like
- 40:08Speaker 1: you've put on some weight. Your response, according to the therapist,
- 40:11Speaker 1: should be I'm happy and thank you for noticing. All right, guys, No, no,
- 40:18Speaker 1: what's the response? What should they say, I ain't no
- 40:21Speaker 1: bigger than your answering. Yeah, you started with stay it again,
- 40:32Speaker 1: I have no bigger than your answer. Look, look like
- 40:37Speaker 1: you put on something, all right, Look like I'm still behind.
- 40:49Speaker 1: I'm still behind. Or you know you're gonna cut off
- 40:53Speaker 1: that other foot for that sugar, all right. So this
- 40:58Speaker 1: is when you when you have hot holiday gatherings at
- 41:01Speaker 1: your house and you have aunts or uncles or just
- 41:03Speaker 1: someone who comes up, and they always say, year after
- 41:06Speaker 1: year inappropriate comments. For instance, uh, they might say to you,
- 41:10Speaker 1: have you lost weight? Oh? You look so skinny. Your response,
- 41:15Speaker 1: according to therapists, should be I'm not interested in discussing
- 41:19Speaker 1: my appearance. Okay do you think? Guys? No, look I
- 41:23Speaker 1: might have lost it, but looked like you found it,
- 41:27Speaker 1: were so? Patty added another chin. Since last time I
- 41:35Speaker 1: saw you this, that's good, Jake. I got to say, though,
- 41:41Speaker 1: what what Junior? I don't do coquaine? That shut the
- 41:50Speaker 1: dinner down, right, shut it down? Time I listened. I
- 41:56Speaker 1: don't do cocaine, all right. So you every year we
- 42:00Speaker 1: have family gatherings, you know, and everything. People come over
- 42:04Speaker 1: and there's always someone that says something crazy to you.
- 42:07Speaker 1: So someone comes up to you and says you're not
- 42:11Speaker 1: drinking anymore. All right. Your response, according to the therapist,
- 42:15Speaker 1: should be I have fun just being myself. What should
- 42:20Speaker 1: you say? Yeah, I go, I drink out the U league.
- 42:27Speaker 1: I got to keep my eye on you. I love it, Tommy,
- 42:31Speaker 1: I love it. I've never seen you sober. This is
- 42:37Speaker 1: a different look. But you got junior, Um, I don't
- 42:47Speaker 1: drink ian j soAnd that's why I'm not drinking. I
- 42:57Speaker 1: would all right, all right? So you know everybody's single
- 43:02Speaker 1: has heard this from time to time during the holidays
- 43:05Speaker 1: when relatives come over. Uh, so, when are you going
- 43:08Speaker 1: to settle down and get married? When you when do
- 43:10Speaker 1: you settle down? Your response should be I don't want
- 43:14Speaker 1: to talk about my love life. That's according to the therapists.
- 43:16Speaker 1: And what do you guys say? No, oom, I got
- 43:20Speaker 1: step mate, women, I'm doing right now. I don't really
- 43:22Speaker 1: see no time soon, So no, I'm what your response? Yeah?
- 43:27Speaker 1: And foe up here tonight at the tennis. So now, man, really,
- 43:32Speaker 1: I've been married three times. Really seriously, come on now, Junior,
- 43:38Speaker 1: what you got? Oh? You you try to hold a
- 43:42Speaker 1: player down? All right? Last one, guys, you still haven't
- 43:49Speaker 1: found a job. Yet your your response should be the
- 43:52Speaker 1: only job I have tonight to whoop your behind in
- 43:56Speaker 1: this game of spade. No job, I just ain't let
- 44:02Speaker 1: it looking how now get a job when you still
- 44:07Speaker 1: owe me money? All right, guys, thank you, now you're
- 44:14Speaker 1: not to shut it down Friday this year dinner coming
- 44:19Speaker 1: up the nephew with today's prank phone call. Right after this,
- 44:22Speaker 1: you're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Coming up
- 44:26Speaker 1: at the top of the hour. Right about four minutes after.
- 44:29Speaker 1: It's my strawberry letter for today, the subject my husband
- 44:33Speaker 1: is scarred to come home. All right, we'll get into
- 44:38Speaker 1: that just a bit. Husband to come home he ought
- 44:44Speaker 1: to be. But right now the nephew is here with
- 44:47Speaker 1: today's prank phone call. What you got for us? Naught?
- 44:50Speaker 1: This right here? This this old school right here, This
- 44:52Speaker 1: is VENTI okay, oh, because we don't really do this,
- 44:56Speaker 1: no mode. But this is old school. This is divorce. Bye, facts,
- 45:01Speaker 1: we're less. How you fact somebody some fay let thing
- 45:04Speaker 1: you did that? Yeah, well, some somewhere in our garage,
- 45:11Speaker 1: y'all still got that old fax machine with the card
- 45:14Speaker 1: wrapped around it. You still I got it? This right
- 45:17Speaker 1: here has been this. This is the voice by facts,
- 45:21Speaker 1: by facts. Let's go cat though. So it was the frogman.
- 45:25Speaker 1: I'm gonna help you. I'm trying to reach mister Curby.
- 45:28Speaker 1: How are you? I'm good? How are you good? Listen?
- 45:30Speaker 1: My name is Casey. I've come by a couple of times,

- 45:38Speaker 1: you when I come by. Are you near a fax
- 45:40Speaker 1: machine right now? Sir? Yeah, I have one right here

- 47:57Speaker 1: And you know, like I said, I actually worked for
- 47:59Speaker 1: the law firm that that gives me the papers to
- 48:01Speaker 1: sit to take out to uh tore you go man
- 48:05Speaker 1: taking the papers. So, like I said, there was no
- 48:09Speaker 1: way I could get them to I've been trying to

- 54:13Speaker 1: it for you here. It is Gaul berry letta thank you,
- 54:16Speaker 1: nephew subject my husband is scared to come home. Dear
- 54:20Speaker 1: Stephen Shirley. I've been married for the past six years
- 54:23Speaker 1: to a man that my older sister introduced me to.
- 54:26Speaker 1: They met at work and she told me he wasn't
- 54:29Speaker 1: her type. We dated for two years and he asked
- 54:32Speaker 1: me to marry him, and he promised me the world.
- 54:35Speaker 1: We had a small wedding and we went on a
- 54:38Speaker 1: cruise for a honeymoon, and he insisted that my sister
- 54:42Speaker 1: go with us. She was supposed to bring the guy
- 54:44Speaker 1: she was dating, but he couldn't go at the last minute.
- 54:48Speaker 1: We had a suite on the ship, and my sister
- 54:50Speaker 1: stayed in the guest room of our suite. This was
- 54:53Speaker 1: a bit uncomfortable for me because I wanted to be
- 54:55Speaker 1: alone with my man. There are early risers, a very
- 54:59Speaker 1: early ris so I would get up and they would
- 55:02Speaker 1: already have been up, had their coffee, and would be
- 55:05Speaker 1: sitting outside chatting. I was very jealous of his relationship
- 55:09Speaker 1: with my sister. I told her to give my husband
- 55:12Speaker 1: some space, and she said she would, but she didn't
- 55:15Speaker 1: stop hanging out with him. She just started hiding it
- 55:18Speaker 1: from me. I went to her office a few days ago,
- 55:21Speaker 1: and my husband's fedora was on a chair in her office.
- 55:25Speaker 1: She said he let her wear it when they went
- 55:28Speaker 1: out for drinks and it started raining. I had no
- 55:31Speaker 1: idea they went out, and she said, it's nothing to
- 55:34Speaker 1: report because it's like going out with one of the boys.
- 55:37Speaker 1: Then she said she doesn't need my permission to hang
- 55:41Speaker 1: out with my husband. I walked over to my husband's
- 55:44Speaker 1: desk and told him I needed to talk to him
- 55:47Speaker 1: about my sister. He said, we talked when he came home.
- 55:51Speaker 1: That was four days ago. He has not been home
- 55:54Speaker 1: since that day. He staying with his brother, and when
- 55:58Speaker 1: I call, he gets off the own saying that he
- 56:01Speaker 1: doesn't want to argue. I think he realized that he
- 56:04Speaker 1: married the wrong sister. Why else is he scared to
- 56:06Speaker 1: come home? Is he romantically involved in my sister? With
- 56:11Speaker 1: my sister and my sister, you already know the answer
- 56:15Speaker 1: to that. You already know, Yeah, both, you already know
- 56:19Speaker 1: the answer to that. I mean, the whole letter says it.
- 56:22Speaker 1: The whole letter says it. Yes, he's involved with your sister.
- 56:26Speaker 1: So much for your husband not being her type. Un
- 56:28Speaker 1: she said that early on to throw you off, I guess,
- 56:31Speaker 1: but I just don't understand why you've stood by this
- 56:34Speaker 1: long and let this happen. They she went on your
- 56:38Speaker 1: honeymoon cruise with you. No, she stayed in your cabin
- 56:43Speaker 1: with you, and you're sweet with you. No. I mean
- 56:46Speaker 1: those two just should have gotten married. They should have
- 56:48Speaker 1: just gone ahead and got married and just left you alone. Okay,
- 56:52Speaker 1: I just wouldn't want her stink behind for my sister.
- 56:55Speaker 1: She's dead wrong for this, you know it. And your
- 56:57Speaker 1: husband is dead wrong too. I think the two of
- 57:00Speaker 1: them deserve each other. Your husband's ridiculous running off to
- 57:03Speaker 1: his brother's house not talking to you. I mean, just
- 57:06Speaker 1: a punk, because I mean, come on, he knows he's
- 57:09Speaker 1: wrong and he won't be man enough to even talk
- 57:12Speaker 1: to you. He doesn't deserve you. I say, let him
- 57:15Speaker 1: go and do it now. Just let him go. Let
- 57:17Speaker 1: them have each other. This this is crazy, fight for
- 57:20Speaker 1: your marriage. You don't have a marriage here, so let's
- 57:23Speaker 1: let him go. He has him at home, he's running. No,
- 57:26Speaker 1: they're they're secretly cheating behind your back. This is crazy.
- 57:30Speaker 1: She doesn't have to tell you because it's just like
- 57:32Speaker 1: hanging out with one of the boys. Well, if it's
- 57:34Speaker 1: just like hanging out with one of the boys. Why
- 57:36Speaker 1: can't she tell you? Yeah, they're sleeping together. Jay. Oh
- 57:41Speaker 1: my god. These people in these letters, why do they
- 57:44Speaker 1: write it? Just is so simple? It's right there? Are
- 57:51Speaker 1: you just seated? The man said, Sirley, could you read
- 57:57Speaker 1: that part? Find that part in the letter when he
- 57:59Speaker 1: said we will talk about this when could you read?
- 58:02Speaker 1: Just read that again? He said, we talk when he
- 58:06Speaker 1: came home. He ain't home yet four days. Why are you?
- 58:11Speaker 1: Why are you hassling the man? He home? He said
- 58:15Speaker 1: he would talk about it. He's building up what he
- 58:18Speaker 1: has to say to you. He needs some time to
- 58:20Speaker 1: get in stuff together. Read it again, Sherley, What did
- 58:23Speaker 1: he said? He said, what, okay, I'm gonna read it.
- 58:28Speaker 1: I'm gonna read it. A line before that, I walked
- 58:30Speaker 1: out every husband's desk and told him I needed to
- 58:33Speaker 1: talk to him about my sister. He said, we talked
- 58:37Speaker 1: when he came home. That was four days ago and
- 58:40Speaker 1: he's not been home. Oh, it doesn't matter in four
- 58:42Speaker 1: forty four days, fifty five days? Who gives it that?
- 58:45Speaker 1: He said, we would talk about this when I get
- 58:49Speaker 1: a home. Why are you calling me? I'm not at home.
- 58:54Speaker 1: I'm uncomfortable talking about this at my brother's house. I'm
- 58:57Speaker 1: gonna put my business in the street. We will discuss
- 59:00Speaker 1: is when i'm home. I'm not at home. I gotta go,
- 59:07Speaker 1: he said. We talked when he came home home. Yeah, yeah, yes,
- 59:14Speaker 1: so stupid. It's not damn let it go go ahead,
- 59:20Speaker 1: Timmy can't believe our culture an expert earlier, Listen to me,
- 59:27Speaker 1: young lady. Wherever a man lays his hat, it's where
- 59:32Speaker 1: he lays everything else. Okay, wherever he lays his hat
- 59:39Speaker 1: is where he lays everything else. Okay. Now what you
- 59:43Speaker 1: got to understand. Your husband won'ts and has probably already
- 59:49Speaker 1: had your sister. Do you know why he put Do
- 59:53Speaker 1: you know why she was in the suite with y'all
- 59:56Speaker 1: so she could hear him? Yes, so when the love
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: of making gets going, guess what she's curious? Now, Yeah,
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: she can feel it. She won't it. It's there. It's
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: a desire. You got to understand that, baby, all right,
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: He talks to her, he drinks with her. You don't
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: know what having foldy started drinking coffee on that shield.
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: They was getting it info they had that coffee. Coffee
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: is always afterwards. You do know that, don't get it
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: in first. Everything he does is for the sister, it's
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: not for you. Just hang on. We'll be back with
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: part two of the Strawberry letter, the subject my husband
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: is scared to come home? Coming back at twenty three
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: minutes after the hour. Right after this you're listening show,
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: All right, we're gonna recap today's Strawberry letter, subject my
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: husband is scared to come home? All right. This is
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: by a woman who's been married for the past six
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: years to a man that her older sister introduced her to.
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: Now her older sister and this man worked together. Why
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: didn't the older sister get with this man because the
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: older sister said this man is not her type. So
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: the man married the younger sister. They've been married for
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: six years. Like I said, they dated for two then
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: he popped the question and told her he was gonna
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: give her the world. They went on a honeymoon on
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: a cruise. Guess what, This older sister was there right
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: in the suite with them. I mean, you know, they
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: wake up, have their coffee, go out together, they do
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: everything together. The lady that wrote the letter is very
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: uncomfortable with this, but she hasn't said anything so far.
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: When she did say something, her older sister says she
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: didn't need her permission because it's just like going out
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: with one of the guys. And she said there was
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: nothing to report. Okay. So then the wife went up
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: to the husband's job, to their job and said told
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: the husband that she needed to talk to him, and
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: he said they would talk when he got home. Well,
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: she hasn't seen him in four days. He hasn't been home.
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: Jay so eloquently pointed that out about a million times.
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: So he's staying with his brother, and he doesn't like
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: to talk to his wife anymore. He just gets off
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: the phone. So this is a mistake. And the woman
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: is calling, I mean, is writing asking us do we
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: think that her husband is romantically involved with his sister.
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: All right, Tommy, you wanted to finish your response. All
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: I want to finish up is let's go to the
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: Book of Temptations. It says Papa was a rolling stone.
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: And then what he said Papa was a rolling stone?
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: What is the next version next? Versus what wherever he
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: laid his hat? What hit home? Now you go back
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: to the letter where was the hat? Go back the
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: hat was in the office, okay, on the check where
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: he laid his head. What his home? He has made
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: a home with your sister. Do you understand that Papa
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: was a rolling stone. Where he laid his high was
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: his home. So he has a home with you, and
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: he has a home with your sister as well as
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: a home with his brother. And right now he's trying
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: to decide where he's gonna make his final home. Junior,
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: if your hood yes out, Yeah, my husband is scared
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: to come home. Yes. Let me let me say this
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: about this letter because this video. I don't know why
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: you wrote us this time. You know the answers to
- 1:03:28Speaker 1: everything going on. All I know is I'm not married,
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: nor have I been married. I don't know that, but
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: from relationship sperience, I know this. You can't keep having
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: one name keep coming up. I know that, O. I
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: know that. Did you keep saying I know sisters in
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: this letter? Nine times I counted that sister, sister, sister.
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: Then you say your husband, sister, sister, sister husband, sisters.
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: See right there, I know them too, are talking to
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: each other. I know that. That's what I do know.
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: I don't can't be laid a hat on the chair.
- 1:04:02Speaker 1: I know you can't go the honeymoon. Sweet, I ain't
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: never been on a honeymoon. I ain't never been mad.
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: But I know you ain't fo be three people in there.
- 1:04:09Speaker 1: I know that. That's what I do. Know. Yeah, I
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: know that's a show. But your sisters name keep coming up.
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: All I know is this. If you want to figure
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: out why your hub won't come home, I would just
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: look at sisters. When he when he said he was
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: at his brother's house, he wasn't. Now he called from
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: your sister house, just going over there, carside that I
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: don't know. One name can't keep coming up by two people.
- 1:04:38Speaker 1: I know that I've been there the same name. No,
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: that's that's that's very true, Tunior. Yeah, so here's a
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: question for you guys. Why didn't the sister just marry
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: the man anyway? The older sister, why didn't she just
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: hear him? She said he was he didn't know he
- 1:04:56Speaker 1: liked her that much when they finished mat Yeah, he
- 1:04:59Speaker 1: had just the sisters said. And the thing about the hat, Tommy,
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: you don't always take your hat off sometimes you might
- 1:05:11Speaker 1: want on. What I mean, I've worked with a hat
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: on yeah, working with oh yeah, Oh yeah, I don't
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: had it on back with sideway cock to the side.
- 1:05:25Speaker 1: I don't want hat. Yeah, if we never came gets
- 1:05:28Speaker 1: it gets in the way. So you gotta get some
- 1:05:31Speaker 1: real and if it get and if it get better,
- 1:05:36Speaker 1: if it get better, you can put the hat on.
- 1:05:38Speaker 1: Huh you know what I'm Yeah, well you wear hat now.
- 1:05:48Speaker 1: It's like a coffee table just says your hat right there. Yeah,
- 1:05:57Speaker 1: she allowed her sister to comment and stay in their honeymoon.
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: Why come on? Okay, here's the other question. Does the
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: older sister remember she They were all planned to go
- 1:06:13Speaker 1: on the honeymoon together, but her, the older sister's date,
- 1:06:16Speaker 1: backed out at the last minute. Does she ever have
- 1:06:18Speaker 1: a date in the first place? I don't know. Listen
- 1:06:20Speaker 1: to him, I don't know. Once you here, once you
- 1:06:24Speaker 1: hear somebody having six, you want to be a part
- 1:06:28Speaker 1: of it. I don't know what it is when you
- 1:06:30Speaker 1: hear it and you just physically hear how to get
- 1:06:33Speaker 1: in the room. You want to be a part of it.
- 1:06:36Speaker 1: You know, I want to get in there? How can
- 1:06:38Speaker 1: I get it? I want to I want to sound
- 1:06:40Speaker 1: like that. How can I get in there? All right,
- 1:06:43Speaker 1: we get it, We get it. Uh poster comments on
- 1:06:48Speaker 1: Today's Strawberry Letter and Steve Harvey FM on Instagram and Facebook.

- 1:07:06Speaker 1: got Junior? All right, Stralie. Before we get to the
- 1:07:09Speaker 1: scores from this past weekend, I want to send um
- 1:07:12Speaker 1: uh my condoces out to the Mayor's Thomas family. Uh.
- 1:07:15Speaker 1: He passed from a seizure in his home here in Atlanta,
- 1:07:20Speaker 1: right outside of Atlanta. Um Man, he was. He played
- 1:07:23Speaker 1: nine years in the league. Man. He played with the
- 1:07:25Speaker 1: Denver Broncos, but he's most known for the number eighty
- 1:07:27Speaker 1: eight the mayors. Thomas played one year in New York
- 1:07:30Speaker 1: for the Jets, and he played one year for the
- 1:07:31Speaker 1: Texas Man and uh, really talented guy played at Georgia Tech.
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: And I just want to send the cadozes out to
- 1:07:37Speaker 1: his family. Man. We're gonna miss him, number eight eight
- 1:07:39Speaker 1: De mayors Thomas. Man, appreciate your brother. Thank you for
- 1:07:41Speaker 1: all the work you did, and he did it the
- 1:07:43Speaker 1: right way. He was not a bad guy as he
- 1:07:45Speaker 1: did the right You know what, Junior, I see so
- 1:07:47Speaker 1: many football players saying that Peyton Manning. Everybody just talking
- 1:07:50Speaker 1: about how such a good guy he was. Yeah, won
- 1:07:54Speaker 1: the Super Bowl with the Broncos with Peyton Manning. Yeah. Man,
- 1:07:58Speaker 1: so those out to his family. But let's get some
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: of these scores. Man over the weekend Week fourteen at
- 1:08:02Speaker 1: the NFL. All right, I don't know why I did it,
- 1:08:05Speaker 1: but the Browns actually beat the Ravens. They went up
- 1:08:07Speaker 1: twenty two, and he bet against his old team. They
- 1:08:13Speaker 1: actually wore brown twenty four, twenty two over the Ravens.
- 1:08:16Speaker 1: All right, the Titans, he did this too. The Titans
- 1:08:19Speaker 1: beat the Jaguars twenty to nothing. The Chiefs beat the
- 1:08:23Speaker 1: Raiders forty eight to nine. Here we go, Saints. Let's
- 1:08:26Speaker 1: go Saints Nation thirty to nine over the Jets. See that.
- 1:08:31Speaker 1: Wait a minute, he's another pig cos. I don't know
- 1:08:33Speaker 1: why he does it to himself. The Falcons beat the Panthers,
- 1:08:36Speaker 1: Oh my god, twenty one. What is he doing? He
- 1:08:40Speaker 1: didn't get this one right though. The Seahawks beat the
- 1:08:42Speaker 1: Texas as expected, thirty three to thirteen. He was at
- 1:08:45Speaker 1: the game, timing. I called I called Timmy and then
- 1:08:48Speaker 1: he was I'm at the game. Why at the game.
- 1:08:52Speaker 1: Why was it a struggle? Timmy? Were you struggling at
- 1:08:55Speaker 1: the game? Do you know what? As long as they
- 1:08:57Speaker 1: got ice cream, hot dogs, cotton, candy, good man and man,
- 1:09:02Speaker 1: that's about the state you can do. Because it's got
- 1:09:05Speaker 1: to be hard sitting that stadium though, watching the Texas
- 1:09:08Speaker 1: lose that whole all right, here we go. We got
- 1:09:10Speaker 1: the Broncos over the Lions thirty eight to ten. The
- 1:09:14Speaker 1: Chargers beat the Giants thirty seven to twenty one, and
- 1:09:17Speaker 1: we got the forty niners over the Bengals. That's a
- 1:09:20Speaker 1: shock of twenty six to twenty three. The Buccaneers beat
- 1:09:24Speaker 1: the Bills. I don't know why, Steven over thirty three
- 1:09:26Speaker 1: to twenty seven. In over time, you can't bet against
- 1:09:29Speaker 1: Tom Brady. Man, Tom Brady did that, Man the Package
- 1:09:32Speaker 1: over the Bears, Man Sunday Night, forty five to thirty.
- 1:09:36Speaker 1: Those are our scores for Week fourteen. Is looking like
- 1:09:39Speaker 1: we don't know what's gonna happen. Man, when you think
- 1:09:41Speaker 1: it will be the Super Bowl time we got Temple Temple,
- 1:09:45Speaker 1: I can think that. I think Temple making Temple and
- 1:09:48Speaker 1: if I had to just really cross my fingers Arizona. Uh, well,
- 1:09:53Speaker 1: Temple NFC. So in the AFC all I had you
- 1:10:01Speaker 1: did ask Junior? You did ask? I did ask you?
- 1:10:05Speaker 1: I do that? All right? Thank you. We'll talk about
- 1:10:11Speaker 1: marriage and divorce coming up right after this. What take
- 1:10:15Speaker 1: my mic out? You're listening to the Stave Harvey Morning Show. Well,
- 1:10:22Speaker 1: yesterday we talked about doctor dre and Nicole Young's divorce.
- 1:10:25Speaker 1: We're not sure about the status of Faith Evans and
- 1:10:27Speaker 1: Stevie Jay's divorce, but we do know that Faith does
- 1:10:32Speaker 1: not want to pay him spousal support, and we now
- 1:10:35Speaker 1: know that Kanye doesn't want to divorce Kim Kardashian. Well,
- 1:10:39Speaker 1: here's a recent survey about divorce from bestlife dot com
- 1:10:43Speaker 1: that included more than ten thousand respondents, and its results
- 1:10:47Speaker 1: show there could be benefits to tying the knot when
- 1:10:51Speaker 1: you're younger. Researchers find the risk for divorce is lower
- 1:10:54Speaker 1: for those in their twenties, and as you get into
- 1:10:57Speaker 1: your thirties and forties, the chances of getting to worst
- 1:11:00Speaker 1: go up again. They conclude that for every year you
- 1:11:04Speaker 1: marry after age thirty two, the risk of divorce could
- 1:11:08Speaker 1: go up by five percent, and they find a sweet
- 1:11:12Speaker 1: spot for your age when marrying. Those who say I
- 1:11:15Speaker 1: do between the ages of twenty eight and thirty two
- 1:11:19Speaker 1: are the least likely to get divorced. Okay, so there's
- 1:11:22Speaker 1: your window. Twenty eight to thirty two, those are the
- 1:11:25Speaker 1: people that are least likely to get divorced. So here's
- 1:11:28Speaker 1: the question, and you know who this is for, Jay
- 1:11:32Speaker 1: Anthony Brown. How old were you when you got married?
- 1:11:38Speaker 1: That's your first question, So listen. Do you think it
- 1:11:41Speaker 1: was too young, too old or just right? And did
- 1:11:45Speaker 1: you divorce your spouse and go on to have a
- 1:11:48Speaker 1: better relationship afterwards? Go? Jay, Okay, three times I've been married.
- 1:11:53Speaker 1: The first time I've married was very young, probably twenty
- 1:11:55Speaker 1: years old. On I think that was definitely too young.
- 1:11:59Speaker 1: You were married at twenty Wow, Jay, oh man, I don't.
- 1:12:02Speaker 1: I have no idea, I have no one. But out
- 1:12:04Speaker 1: of the three divorces, only two speak to me, and
- 1:12:08Speaker 1: this particular time. Yeah, so the first first one, I
- 1:12:14Speaker 1: don't know. But I can always say this, I can.
- 1:12:16Speaker 1: I also only say this any time I've gotten married,
- 1:12:20Speaker 1: and any time I've got divorced. It was me. It
- 1:12:23Speaker 1: was me. I placed to blame I placed. I know.
- 1:12:29Speaker 1: I tell you one time I was getting married, I'm
- 1:12:31Speaker 1: standing up there, going, how can I get out of this?
- 1:12:38Speaker 1: No standing up there looking at the minister like of
- 1:12:40Speaker 1: wishing it was a trap door is during the ceremony,
- 1:12:47Speaker 1: you know how to look. You know you're not supposed
- 1:12:49Speaker 1: to be married. When your best friend says, I'll catch
- 1:12:51Speaker 1: the next one boom boom. You know you know you're
- 1:12:55Speaker 1: not supposed to be married. When your daughter says, hey, Dad,
- 1:12:59Speaker 1: we leave right now and gonna have a party. We
- 1:13:01Speaker 1: ain't got to do this. You know you're not supposed
- 1:13:05Speaker 1: to be married. When your mama said I don't like her.
- 1:13:10Speaker 1: I'm put that on everything I believe I do, not
- 1:13:16Speaker 1: not your mama. Dog. Wow wow, I was not supposed
- 1:13:20Speaker 1: to be man married it it works for people. I
- 1:13:23Speaker 1: don't mind going to weddings. I like to see people
- 1:13:25Speaker 1: who are totally in love. That's cool. You know. You
- 1:13:29Speaker 1: know I envy the relationships of the people who are
- 1:13:30Speaker 1: married on this show. But it just ain't for me.
- 1:13:33Speaker 1: You know. You know, if marriage was like for three
- 1:13:36Speaker 1: days and then you go somewhere, I could do it works.
- 1:13:40Speaker 1: You got three days, okay, But on that third day.
- 1:13:45Speaker 1: On that third day, I need you to get your
- 1:13:48Speaker 1: back together. Man, even Jesus got up on the third day. Okay, Jay,
- 1:13:56Speaker 1: let me ask you this though. Yeah, you said it.
- 1:13:59Speaker 1: You Okay, you've admitted that it's you, right, So what
- 1:14:04Speaker 1: can you do or what are you doing right? What
- 1:14:08Speaker 1: have you learned about yourself? I want to get married.
- 1:14:14Speaker 1: I need, I need at some point when we're like
- 1:14:17Speaker 1: hanging out and stuff, you need to go home. That's
- 1:14:20Speaker 1: what I've learned. Yeah, we're in day four and maybe
- 1:14:25Speaker 1: maybe a week, two weeks, but we're into that third week,
- 1:14:29Speaker 1: fourth week. You gotta be yes, see ya, I've seen me.
- 1:14:34Speaker 1: The best words in the relationship is see ya. I've
- 1:14:39Speaker 1: seen a marriage that works. And just what what? They
- 1:14:42Speaker 1: live in two different houses and they're right next door
- 1:14:46Speaker 1: to each other. The lady our craziest thing I ever seen,
- 1:14:50Speaker 1: But they it worked. I could do that. Yeah. And
- 1:14:53Speaker 1: and separate bathrooms for sure, I've heard, but not, thank you, Jay.
- 1:14:58Speaker 1: All Right, We'll have more of a Steve Harvey Morning
- 1:15:00Speaker 1: Show coming up at twenty minutes after the hour. Right
- 1:15:03Speaker 1: after this. You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:15:08Speaker 1: All right, guys, get this and this is crazy. This
- 1:15:11Speaker 1: is trending though. Tessica Brown is back. That name may
- 1:15:15Speaker 1: sound familiar too, or she is another hair problem. We
- 1:15:18Speaker 1: know her as a gorilla glue girl. Exactly what happened there?
- 1:15:28Speaker 1: All right? This time? Remember before she got the gorilla
- 1:15:30Speaker 1: glue stuck in her head, she needed a doctor to
- 1:15:33Speaker 1: remove it surgically. Her hair grew back, she was looking good,
- 1:15:36Speaker 1: looking fine. Well, this time A TikTok with almost three
- 1:15:41Speaker 1: billion million views shows that she has the opposite problem. Now.
- 1:15:46Speaker 1: Tessica's hair is falling out after she burned her scalp
- 1:15:52Speaker 1: while using hair dye to try and conceal some gray hairs. Okay,
- 1:15:56Speaker 1: she wanted to dye her hair so she could cover
- 1:15:57Speaker 1: up her gray. Well. The solution, yeah, the solution to
- 1:16:01Speaker 1: her latest problem was a combination of platelet rich plasma
- 1:16:05Speaker 1: and stem cell therapy. Now, doctors think she'll stop losing
- 1:16:09Speaker 1: her hair soon, but it'll be several months before she
- 1:16:12Speaker 1: can dye her hair again. Um, she says at this
- 1:16:16Speaker 1: point she'll stick with organic hair dye. At this point,
- 1:16:20Speaker 1: I'm just scared. Stick with yeah, stick with words. Well,
- 1:16:28Speaker 1: it's crazy, right, me and Jay ben Ball for years.
- 1:16:31Speaker 1: You know you can get used to this too, you
- 1:16:33Speaker 1: know you can. Gosh, if you're a do over here,
- 1:16:37Speaker 1: we got we got room. Come on some hats ye
