- 1:46Speaker 1: Bounce TV. Please work with the money making conversation. Dorian Wilson,
- 1:56Speaker 1: Oh my goodness. Well, you know, I I didn't include
- 2:00Speaker 1: the movie, so I want everybody that I don't want
- 2:01Speaker 1: everybody just to think you just a TV stark. You know,
- 2:05Speaker 1: I was listening to you. I was like, what were
- 2:07Speaker 1: they talking about you? That you're behind? That's what I'm
- 2:11Speaker 1: talking about you, And it's really incredible. Man. When I
- 2:13Speaker 1: when I think about as many times over the years,
- 2:17Speaker 1: I've actually just settled, you know, still on the side
- 2:19Speaker 1: of the stage and just watch you perform at various shows.
- 2:23Speaker 1: And you know, like on Steve Harper Show, you was
- 2:25Speaker 1: You're almost a regular on that show because you was
- 2:27Speaker 1: casting a lot of times. Remember you, You're right, And
- 2:32Speaker 1: it was really funny because you know, I remember the
- 2:34Speaker 1: classic dance was the Dance Off, the Big Dance Off.
- 2:38Speaker 1: Do you remember that the Big Dance Off with you hide? True? Man?
- 2:43Speaker 1: It really was. That was the that was the real
- 2:44Speaker 1: That was the episode where you know when these characters
- 2:47Speaker 1: and Steve character really almost had a romantic moment because
- 2:52Speaker 1: of the fact that his character came in and and
- 2:55Speaker 1: and checked Stevie emotionally. That's what I like from remember
- 2:58Speaker 1: that man, this man has a career. So and all
- 3:01Speaker 1: that stuff I mentioned I mentioned, I mentioned you would
- 3:03Speaker 1: be on Sister Sister and all these shows, Moisha and
- 3:06Speaker 1: all these shows. What what what did? What? You know?
- 3:09Speaker 1: I know what I liked about you. But the worst
- 3:11Speaker 1: thing about knowing somebody you start talking and people don't
- 3:14Speaker 1: get to experience the true value who you are. What
- 3:17Speaker 1: did what did most people. You know, you ever saying
- 3:19Speaker 1: when you're casting, because you as a you're a chamellion.
- 3:21Speaker 1: You know, you could do it. You could be dropped, tramatic.
- 3:23Speaker 1: You're a very physical actor, very animated in the phase.
- 3:27Speaker 1: You could be up, you could be down. I'm talking
- 3:29Speaker 1: about with volume. And you know, because you can play
- 3:31Speaker 1: against a big character. Because when he did The Parkers
- 3:34Speaker 1: playing against Monique, Monique was a big character, you know,
- 3:37Speaker 1: where he had to go against the grain, like he
- 3:40Speaker 1: was a person that was a really hard character to
- 3:42Speaker 1: play because of the fact that he had to act
- 3:44Speaker 1: like he was disgusted with his character. I would never
- 3:47Speaker 1: date a character like you, and that's a hard that's
- 3:50Speaker 1: a hard thing to do, especially when you write that
- 3:53Speaker 1: character and also you working day to day with that
- 3:56Speaker 1: character so it doesn't cross that line. That was really
- 3:58Speaker 1: interesting time for you. Correct on The Parkers. Oh thank god.
- 4:02Speaker 1: I had the best time. It was uh six years
- 4:06Speaker 1: of playing with my best friend and I got a
- 4:10Speaker 1: paycheck for it. You know, you can't better than that.
- 4:14Speaker 1: You know, we had a great time. We did a
- 4:16Speaker 1: hundred and ten episodes or something like that. Um, you know,
- 4:20Speaker 1: it was great and nobody knew you know the magnitude
- 4:23Speaker 1: of how big that show was gonna be. Well, you know,
- 4:26Speaker 1: I like that when I came out, I came over
- 4:28Speaker 1: to that show from the Jamie Foxx Show. And I
- 4:30Speaker 1: like the reason I came over to the show because
- 4:33Speaker 1: it was it was one of the first shows on televison,
- 4:35Speaker 1: especially African American shows, because at that time, if you
- 4:38Speaker 1: were on TV and you was overweight, you know, you
- 4:41Speaker 1: was either made or use some you always took care of, right, absolutely,
- 4:46Speaker 1: you always took care of somebody when you were overweight
- 4:49Speaker 1: on television. And it was the first show you don't
- 4:52Speaker 1: tell the truth, you know, this was the first show
- 4:55Speaker 1: where overweight black women say, I look good, I'm gonna
- 4:59Speaker 1: dress up, I construct my stuff, and I can get
- 5:02Speaker 1: the man in my dream. Right, But that was the
- 5:09Speaker 1: first time. That was the first time right here. Absolutely absolutely.
- 5:15Speaker 1: We don't know about nick mcgirl, you know, if she
- 5:16Speaker 1: gonna do me. But I was just telling the truth.
- 5:18Speaker 1: But that was the that was the That's why I
- 5:20Speaker 1: came over. You That's where I came over to the
- 5:23Speaker 1: series because I've never seen that on television, and you know,
- 5:26Speaker 1: it's brilliantly done by Sara Finni and uh who the
- 5:31Speaker 1: co creator along with or Vita Spears. They co created
- 5:34Speaker 1: the show and developed the show. Also created Mosha. It's
- 5:37Speaker 1: just a legacy of talent that just keeps sliding, slide, sliding.
- 5:40Speaker 1: But when they invited me to come over the show,
- 5:42Speaker 1: That's why I was attracted to the show because I
- 5:45Speaker 1: just left Jamie Fox Show and it was about the
- 5:47Speaker 1: African American mayle who found himself and wasn't silly. And
- 5:51Speaker 1: I saw this character over here, I went, Wow, overweight
- 5:54Speaker 1: women on television, African American. They're feeling good about themselves.
- 5:58Speaker 1: They're looking good about themselves. They said, see, I want
- 6:00Speaker 1: to do that show, Maam. I was on the show
- 6:03Speaker 1: for two years. Happy getting the check, like you said,
- 6:05Speaker 1: get the check. Yeah yeah. But man, I'm telling you,
- 6:10Speaker 1: I've been so blessed and fortunate, you know, just to
- 6:13Speaker 1: be in this industry and to have the longevity that
- 6:16Speaker 1: I do have. You know, I'm just thankful and blessed,
- 6:20Speaker 1: and I know where my blessings come. You know, this
- 6:22Speaker 1: is God any time. So I've been fortunate enough to
- 6:28Speaker 1: this is my seventh show, my new show, just to
- 6:32Speaker 1: do anymore um that I'm on, you know, to to
- 6:36Speaker 1: have a career like this. Okay, let's talk about the
- 6:38Speaker 1: current show that you're doing right now. In the cut
- 6:42Speaker 1: his own Bounds, directed by I call him a friend
- 6:45Speaker 1: because it's Bentley Evans executively the creator because hired me
- 6:50Speaker 1: on Jamie Fox to be the co executive producer. So,
- 6:53Speaker 1: like I said, this business is about relationship. So let's
- 6:56Speaker 1: talk about that a little bit, because that's one of
- 6:58Speaker 1: the reasons you have a long jever is you've got
- 7:00Speaker 1: to be a professional all the set and people have
- 7:02Speaker 1: to trust you. Please tell the people listen to the
- 7:06Speaker 1: power of relationship. Touch on it right away. Uh. You know,
- 7:10Speaker 1: Deadley Kyle Evans is an amazing brother, you know, and
- 7:15Speaker 1: his loyalty and commitment to people that are in this industry,
- 7:20Speaker 1: that the bond and the family that you you create
- 7:24Speaker 1: and you don't see that often in this industry. And
- 7:28Speaker 1: you know, just like you know, what goes around comes around.
- 7:31Speaker 1: He remember remembered me working uh you know years past.
- 7:37Speaker 1: Um you know, uh, Jimmie Fox and Martin you know
- 7:42Speaker 1: all of those. Yeah, way back in the day. He
- 7:45Speaker 1: calls me up and says, hey, brother, you know I
- 7:48Speaker 1: remember working with you. I love you. Um, what do
- 7:52Speaker 1: you think about doing another television show and where do
- 7:55Speaker 1: you see yourself? And uh, you know, I'm like yeah
- 7:58Speaker 1: from the side up both that's you know basically how like, yeah,
- 8:06Speaker 1: you want those calls you want? Yeah, yeah, most it's
- 8:12Speaker 1: been so wonderful. We just uh, we just premiered our
- 8:16Speaker 1: fourth season. Congratulations July the second on Bounce, like you said,
- 8:21Speaker 1: Monday nights at nine o'clock. Um, and I think this
- 8:25Speaker 1: is our best season yet. In addition, I say that
- 8:28Speaker 1: is because we have an incredible staff of writers and
- 8:33Speaker 1: producers and everything, which Buddy, I'm an executive co executives,
- 8:40Speaker 1: thank you very much. Thank you. That's a big deal.
- 8:44Speaker 1: That's a big everybody. We have a great writers who
- 8:47Speaker 1: not only right for the characters, now they're writing for
- 8:52Speaker 1: us as actors, Dorian the actor. They know what I'm
- 8:56Speaker 1: capable of doing. They know what my strings are and
- 9:00Speaker 1: the comedy timing and comedic timing and everything like that. Bill,
- 9:05Speaker 1: they write that in the script. So this season is
- 9:09Speaker 1: all about relationships and and um, the how we relate
- 9:14Speaker 1: to the other characters as well. We added Kalita Smith
- 9:19Speaker 1: this uh this season, um, and many people know her
- 9:23Speaker 1: from the Bernie Max Show. She played his wife. Um gorgeous,
- 9:29Speaker 1: so funny, so talented, that is my love and on
- 9:35Speaker 1: the show and things heat up uh this season, so
- 9:41Speaker 1: you know, well I don't want to divorce you, but
- 9:43Speaker 1: well let let's talk about let's talk about a couple
- 9:46Speaker 1: of other characters then, you know, because it was talking
- 9:47Speaker 1: about relationship because my boy can't last who played with
- 9:51Speaker 1: you on the poet? Yeah, I wasn't get there man.
- 9:55Speaker 1: You know you know he look look like you were
- 9:57Speaker 1: running out of stated slide on the end. Brother, that's
- 10:01Speaker 1: a slide on that do my job? Okay? You when
- 10:10Speaker 1: you have a career, When you have a career, dory
- 10:13Speaker 1: and like they have, there's no field time. My friend,
- 10:16Speaker 1: I have you on this show because I created money
- 10:18Speaker 1: making conversation to expose people too incredible talents that I've
- 10:22Speaker 1: had relationships over the world over the years and people
- 10:25Speaker 1: I don't know which has been even more incredible. And
- 10:28Speaker 1: that's and you I'm telling you something when I when
- 10:30Speaker 1: we just when we're describing that moment about owner Steve
- 10:33Speaker 1: Harvard show and him being on the Shorelotte, we're talking
- 10:35Speaker 1: about about ten years ago. You know, he remembers the
- 10:38Speaker 1: same he remembers the same That's how that's how talented
- 10:44Speaker 1: he is. He doesn't walk away. He gets engaged into
- 10:47Speaker 1: the moment. Like you know, we was talking about the
- 10:49Speaker 1: interview Romaney Malcole and he was talking about how he
- 10:52Speaker 1: gets into a character. You know, he'd take the character
- 10:54Speaker 1: off the show. You know. But but uh, but Dorry
- 10:57Speaker 1: don't do that, Terry Doran when he when he when
- 11:00Speaker 1: he says cut during walk off, he's during Wilson again.
- 11:03Speaker 1: He don't care a character off the stage. He don't
- 11:05Speaker 1: go crazy like Romany Manico walking around with t steal
- 11:08Speaker 1: in his mouth or walking around with the afro still
- 11:10Speaker 1: on his head. Now now now that's over there. See
- 11:13Speaker 1: it's it's a disconnector how do you do thing? Is?
- 11:16Speaker 1: I remember back on the day, Steve, Uh, it was
- 11:20Speaker 1: like me and Windy were that method actor right then.
- 11:24Speaker 1: You know, we're classically trained, we're from theater and everything.
- 11:27Speaker 1: You mean, like these v people right here, Oh my god.
- 11:33Speaker 1: So it was it was a beautiful pall. Yeah, yeah
- 11:36Speaker 1: to him like that. You had Cedric did entertain the
- 11:38Speaker 1: h Steve to stand up comics. They just walked down,
- 11:40Speaker 1: you know, they got the opportunity to be on television.
- 11:42Speaker 1: Then you got you got these day to train people
- 11:45Speaker 1: that come in on the set. They look at their script,
- 11:47Speaker 1: they memorize, and they comes to the table read they
- 11:49Speaker 1: know the script almost memorized when he sit down and
- 11:52Speaker 1: then and and but that's not But that just shows
- 11:54Speaker 1: you the beauty of because I've seen people have that
- 11:58Speaker 1: skill set and not be overdevelopment over time with the relationship,
- 12:02Speaker 1: because some people have been offended that stand that comics
- 12:04Speaker 1: have just been getting shows and but made part of
- 12:07Speaker 1: the job what you made it, brother. Yeah, but you
- 12:09Speaker 1: know it's not an easy thing to do. You know, Uh,
- 12:13Speaker 1: money found out. You know that that very first season
- 12:16Speaker 1: of The Parkers one we did that. You know, she
- 12:20Speaker 1: thought she had the tap dance and kind of showing
- 12:23Speaker 1: him but not and I had to pull her to
- 12:25Speaker 1: the side. I was like, baby girl, this is an
- 12:28Speaker 1: stample told told that Dona. We're gonna be right back
- 12:33Speaker 1: with more. Dorian Wilson on money making conversations. This is awesome.
- 12:37Speaker 1: Hi just was Sean McDonald, As you heard in the
- 12:40Speaker 1: previous break. I was talking to a difference a long
- 12:43Speaker 1: term there's being in the business of acting. Longevity is
- 12:48Speaker 1: his middle name. In a CP Award winner Dorian Wilson.
- 12:52Speaker 1: We worked many years together on The Parkers, which started Monique,
- 12:56Speaker 1: and then I met him before in the moment he
- 12:59Speaker 1: should have probably Jack. I made him on his Sister
- 13:01Speaker 1: Sister project. I made him on the Steve Harvey project.
- 13:05Speaker 1: These are projects that I was just discussing about relationships,
- 13:08Speaker 1: and then we brought to the fact that you know,
- 13:11Speaker 1: Kid Lawson, he played on the Parkers. So if they
- 13:15Speaker 1: had any attitude, they any negativity, then guess what people
- 13:19Speaker 1: they wouldn't we be working together now because what happens
- 13:22Speaker 1: is people in the business they go, is he crazy?
- 13:27Speaker 1: Do you think we should bring him on the set? Me?
- 13:30Speaker 1: Let me just say though, Uh you mentioned ken Ken Lawson,
- 13:35Speaker 1: his brother that was on the Parkers. He played t ball,
- 13:39Speaker 1: hit a brother. But I have now worked with him
- 13:42Speaker 1: for over almost twenty years and I have never seen
- 13:48Speaker 1: this brother upset, bad attitude, UM not positive at all,
- 13:54Speaker 1: you know, and those are the people that you want
- 13:56Speaker 1: to work with. I can't say the same for myself,
- 13:59Speaker 1: but because every other bad mood, I wouldn't know it.
- 14:03Speaker 1: Stop now you don't you don't you know the thing
- 14:06Speaker 1: about it. I'm not gonna be shy and not compliment
- 14:09Speaker 1: Mr Wilson on what he does on the set, you know,
- 14:13Speaker 1: because of the fact that he's a professional and uh
- 14:16Speaker 1: and he's and he's consistent about it. But what I
- 14:17Speaker 1: also want to do is I want to break down
- 14:19Speaker 1: the show bounced a little bit more about your character.
- 14:21Speaker 1: Your character. You're on the bobby shop, You're on the
- 14:24Speaker 1: barber shop, and then a beautic along next door, right,
- 14:27Speaker 1: and the next door is Sheryl and Sherl is played
- 14:29Speaker 1: by Kalita Smith. Correct, who start on the Bernie Matt Show.
- 14:33Speaker 1: Okay and so so and then and then Ken lost
- 14:36Speaker 1: in his character, he is the he's your son from
- 14:40Speaker 1: an illegitimate relationship. Correct, and now he's coming and working
- 14:43Speaker 1: in there. And that's why that friction is working. You
- 14:45Speaker 1: got you got a son? You really don't know that well,
- 14:48Speaker 1: you gotta you got. Uh. That's x wife for what
- 14:52Speaker 1: she cla character? What does she she are? And she
- 14:57Speaker 1: took over, she took over but originally my ex wife
- 15:04Speaker 1: and Jack Dave runs off with this other dude. So
- 15:07Speaker 1: I need just to build um somebody to to watch
- 15:11Speaker 1: over the beauty salon and so uh in the walks, uh,
- 15:16Speaker 1: Sherl and she she's running the place and we kind
- 15:20Speaker 1: of have fall in love. You want history, this is
- 15:25Speaker 1: history right here. And so what what do what do
- 15:28Speaker 1: you like about the show? What do you like about
- 15:30Speaker 1: to show so much story? For for one, everybody that
- 15:35Speaker 1: is involved is that trip. Um we shoot the show
- 15:40Speaker 1: in thirteen eleven days. We shoot thirteen episode um, which
- 15:46Speaker 1: is unheard of. It's ridiculous. There's no prep for it,
- 15:50Speaker 1: because how do you prep for You know that I
- 15:54Speaker 1: have because I'm the lead of the show. I have
- 15:56Speaker 1: anywhere from fourteen to seventeen see a day. Um. So
- 16:02Speaker 1: it's like I sleep after this two weeks or you know,
- 16:06Speaker 1: less than to be are over. But everybody is you know,
- 16:10Speaker 1: we all grew up in the ring. We've all worked
- 16:13Speaker 1: together at one point or another. Um. You know, just
- 16:17Speaker 1: like I said Kalita, and I work on Sister Sister
- 16:20Speaker 1: way back in the day. You know, I work. We
- 16:23Speaker 1: can uh that John Marshall Jones has been has been
- 16:27Speaker 1: around forever, the brother from Smart Guy, the father. And
- 16:32Speaker 1: then rounding out our cat is uh Laura Hayes, Miss Laura,
- 16:37Speaker 1: who is amazing and so funny. Um. So it's it's
- 16:42Speaker 1: not worked at all, you know, And we have a
- 16:45Speaker 1: great time. Ms. Laura Hayes Comedy Jam Fame. You take
- 16:50Speaker 1: that hair off, you go, I'll go, Hey, man, I
- 16:53Speaker 1: gotta give a little bit more. Here's to you because
- 16:54Speaker 1: you you just like this is jack Ky. I keep
- 16:57Speaker 1: telling y'all, relationships means something, Jackie, he said, sister sister, Okay,
- 17:04Speaker 1: the first season, played his wife on this show. Okay
- 17:07Speaker 1: in the cut. If you have an attitude twenty years ago,
- 17:12Speaker 1: or it's twenty five years ago, maybe I played for
- 17:15Speaker 1: boyfriend for two seasons on uh Suter sister. Oh yeah,
- 17:22Speaker 1: And that's why I really really wanted to. I really
- 17:26Speaker 1: wanted to drive home with people when they out there,
- 17:28Speaker 1: you know, especially people. Everybody wants to get into business.
- 17:30Speaker 1: Everybody they only see the end of game. They only
- 17:32Speaker 1: see Dorry Wilson, who's on the show. You know, he's
- 17:36Speaker 1: out there and then he's on another show. I want
- 17:37Speaker 1: to be him. It doesn't work that way. It does
- 17:40Speaker 1: not work that way. Yeah, it's a lot. And like
- 17:45Speaker 1: you said, man, it's exactly what you said. People see
- 17:49Speaker 1: the end result, but they didn't see when I was
- 17:52Speaker 1: in the trenches and I was playing tree stumps and creatures,
- 17:57Speaker 1: and which is that whatnot. I did children's theater for
- 18:01Speaker 1: six years prior to you know, me finally making it
- 18:05Speaker 1: in l a in l A. Um. You know, so
- 18:09Speaker 1: it was a grind and but you know, once I
- 18:12Speaker 1: got there, I was prepared and I was ready. Now
- 18:17Speaker 1: let's talk about things. You're doing film projects. You're doing
- 18:20Speaker 1: film projects. You're exactly producing you And I'm not saying
- 18:23Speaker 1: you expand it now, you know, because you've been doing it.
- 18:26Speaker 1: But you have some projects that you're working on right now.
- 18:28Speaker 1: Oh no, no, no, and I don't That's a great thing.
- 18:32Speaker 1: You know. That is part of staying relevant in this
- 18:38Speaker 1: business is the re of it. You're talking about reinventing yourself. Yes, exactly. Um, uh,
- 18:49Speaker 1: you know. And the more stuff that I'm doing, I'm writing,
- 18:52Speaker 1: I'm producing, I'm directing, um, you know. So I try
- 18:58Speaker 1: to stay current and try to stave this and it's
- 19:00Speaker 1: it's also making me grow as a entertainer. And so
- 19:06Speaker 1: that's uh what I'm doing right now. I'm an executive producer,
- 19:10Speaker 1: not only on my show, I'm a co executive producer
- 19:15Speaker 1: on In the Cut, but I just started in this
- 19:19Speaker 1: film that we're doing right now in Atlanta is called
- 19:24Speaker 1: His hers and the truth, and you know, I'm having
- 19:29Speaker 1: a great time. I play opposite of Coco Brown, who
- 19:34Speaker 1: is my heart. We play therapists and we're kind of
- 19:40Speaker 1: messed up for ourselves, but we're having a great time.
- 19:44Speaker 1: And it's project here Terry j Von in that project. Yes, yes, yeah,
- 19:52Speaker 1: it's a star studied cat. Again. I don't I don't
- 19:57Speaker 1: have any scenes with her, but I love her just
- 20:00Speaker 1: as well, you know, um so every work. Let me
- 20:04Speaker 1: ask you this for let me ask you the question
- 20:06Speaker 1: right with Dory because so you know you talked about
- 20:08Speaker 1: putting that hat on directing. You know, you know, always
- 20:13Speaker 1: people are asking me in the past, Rashan, will you direct?
- 20:16Speaker 1: I'm not gonna direct. I'm our executive produced. I right,
- 20:20Speaker 1: you know, I will tell you what to do, but
- 20:22Speaker 1: I won't direct. It's just something about that that I'm
- 20:26Speaker 1: not what to do directing really, but it's a different
- 20:31Speaker 1: you know, Look, don't don't don't say that you like
- 20:33Speaker 1: get tired of talking, he said, So I didn't get
- 20:37Speaker 1: somebody going that corner and going that corner and break.
- 20:40Speaker 1: You know, it's more than that. It's prep. It's sitting up,
- 20:43Speaker 1: this is the lands, its line it up single camera,
- 20:47Speaker 1: multi camera, Do you have audience, don't have an audience?
- 20:50Speaker 1: You in the street. You got a whole team of
- 20:53Speaker 1: people to help you through all that. And because I've
- 20:56Speaker 1: been doing it for as long as I know which
- 21:00Speaker 1: shots are gonna look good, you know, I have four
- 21:03Speaker 1: cameras and UM, this is gonna pick up this shot?
- 21:07Speaker 1: And uh, I want you to move here. You know
- 21:10Speaker 1: I don't this and um, and the part of the
- 21:14Speaker 1: comedy and timing, Uh, you know, it's it. I can't
- 21:21Speaker 1: say it. It's not you can't teach it, but it's
- 21:25Speaker 1: something that's learned, you know. And UM, you know I
- 21:28Speaker 1: can help U through that. So you know you like
- 21:32Speaker 1: we talked earlier about you know you're you're trained actor.
- 21:37Speaker 1: Do you do you teach any classes? Do you do
- 21:39Speaker 1: any masterclasses? Uh? You know I just actually uh in
- 21:45Speaker 1: New York two weeks ago. Um, and it was a
- 21:48Speaker 1: group of college students. Um. But yeah, And and by teaching, man,
- 21:56Speaker 1: I don't try to drill. And there's not a method
- 21:59Speaker 1: that I form me safe. But I can only talk
- 22:05Speaker 1: about my experience and what works for me. How I
- 22:08Speaker 1: go about breaking down the script? Um, you know, my
- 22:13Speaker 1: character development? Um, how you go into an audition and
- 22:18Speaker 1: you've got to be prepared and stuff like that from
- 22:21Speaker 1: my experience, so I'm you know, nothing is from a
- 22:25Speaker 1: book with the if. It's everything that I've learned along
- 22:29Speaker 1: the way. Now that so do me a favor next
- 22:34Speaker 1: time you have one of those classes that I Rushan
- 22:37Speaker 1: knew nothing about allowed me to promote it for. You're
- 22:40Speaker 1: not saying that you have, but Roshan McDonald, that's why
- 22:42Speaker 1: I create money Making Conversation to promote especially events like this,
- 22:47Speaker 1: because people don't know how to access to individual I
- 22:49Speaker 1: know Tasha Smith does a lot of them. You know,
- 22:51Speaker 1: Wendy Robson does them, and I always tell them, hey,
- 22:55Speaker 1: let me know so I could promote it for because
- 22:57Speaker 1: you guys are special talents. But not only that, young
- 23:00Speaker 1: young actors and at even veteran actors need to hear
- 23:02Speaker 1: your story so they know that there's a journey, like
- 23:05Speaker 1: you said, breaking down the script going in for all
- 23:08Speaker 1: this year walking up agation, you see fifty people in there.
- 23:10Speaker 1: They don't even look like you, and some of them
- 23:12Speaker 1: do look like you. How do you deal with that emotion?
- 23:14Speaker 1: How do you win? And you've been winning for such
- 23:16Speaker 1: a long time, man, Uh, I just wanted to have
- 23:19Speaker 1: you on the show. The Telly and the beauty of
- 23:22Speaker 1: you know, helping somebody out, helps out, that's just starting out.
- 23:26Speaker 1: It's all in your experience and simple things that we
- 23:30Speaker 1: take for granted in the business that you know, a
- 23:33Speaker 1: lot of newcomers don't know. So you know, I love
- 23:37Speaker 1: to pass that that information on. Well, you've been doing
- 23:40Speaker 1: it door and again UH starring in Uh in the
- 23:43Speaker 1: Cut is on bots TV nine eight Central UM's He's
- 23:49Speaker 1: the owner a barbershop and the beats love. That sounds
- 23:51Speaker 1: very familiar to me in my life. A black man
- 23:54Speaker 1: who owns a barbershop and the beauties low dor and
- 23:57Speaker 1: thank you for taking the time the car me man.
