- 0:20Speaker 1: it together for st PA. I don't join join me.
- 0:58Speaker 1: You gotta turn ing you, you gotta turn to turn
- 1:41Speaker 1: them out. Turn You haven't got to turn them out
- 1:45Speaker 1: to turn turn the water the water got me? Come
- 1:58Speaker 1: come on your fad uh huh, I shore will a
- 2:03Speaker 1: good morning everybody y'all listening to the voice, Come on
- 2:06Speaker 1: dig me now, one and only Steve Harvey got a
- 2:10Speaker 1: radio show. Man, oh man, oh man, God being good
- 2:15Speaker 1: to me. Man. I can't explain it all really, you know,
- 2:19Speaker 1: I want I want to remind everybody or something that
- 2:21Speaker 1: I need reminding of myself all the time. And I'm
- 2:27Speaker 1: I'm dealing with a couple of things now and I
- 2:29Speaker 1: had to remind myself, you know what I have to
- 2:32Speaker 1: remember to constantly remind myself to stay in constant communication
- 2:38Speaker 1: with God. Constant communication with God. You know sometimes you know,
- 2:44Speaker 1: I have a tendency, and maybe we do all these people.
- 2:47Speaker 1: I don't know, but I know for me that when
- 2:50Speaker 1: it's going okay, I slack up in sometimes having conversations
- 2:55Speaker 1: with him because I'm not coming to him on the
- 2:57Speaker 1: daily with something that's pressing or something, and I find
- 3:01Speaker 1: myself slacking up in the communication. The danger I have
- 3:06Speaker 1: learned in that is this, I think, you know, I
- 3:10Speaker 1: mean we've all heard old people say, you know, you
- 3:12Speaker 1: got to stay prayed up, you know, and you know
- 3:16Speaker 1: prayed up means you know you got some store it up.
- 3:20Speaker 1: You just got an abundance of them. Where you don't
- 3:22Speaker 1: you're putting it in. Because what happens is is when
- 3:26Speaker 1: you're not in constant communication with God, when you're not
- 3:29Speaker 1: constantly praying, doing those good times, that allows for the
- 3:35Speaker 1: enemy to slip in and do the little things that
- 3:39Speaker 1: can be upsetting. And then the next thing you know it,
- 3:42Speaker 1: you get several little things in a role. Now you
- 3:45Speaker 1: got an issue you dealing with. You know, I have
- 3:48Speaker 1: to remind myself when it's going like that, Man, have
- 3:51Speaker 1: I really been praying though? Have I really been in
- 3:54Speaker 1: constant communication with God? Because you know that that helps
- 3:58Speaker 1: God against that little bitty stuff coming in. Sometimes it's
- 4:03Speaker 1: big stuff, sometimes it's major stuff. But I've noticed, man,
- 4:06Speaker 1: that when I get on a more of a smooth
- 4:09Speaker 1: plane in life, I have a tendency to slack up
- 4:12Speaker 1: in that department, and that ain't the time to slack up.
- 4:16Speaker 1: I'm really learning that I have to stay in constant
- 4:20Speaker 1: communication with God because it enables me to ward off
- 4:25Speaker 1: those little things coming up that can get in the way.
- 4:29Speaker 1: And so I just wanted to make you aware of
- 4:32Speaker 1: that as I'm learning it myself, that staying prayed up
- 4:36Speaker 1: is important that you try to stop prayers, you know,
- 4:39Speaker 1: you try to you know, have some prayers in the bank,
- 4:42Speaker 1: so to speak, and just constant communication with Him because
- 4:46Speaker 1: it'll just safeguard you against a lot of stuff back
- 4:49Speaker 1: doing you. You know, I just wanted to make sure
- 4:51Speaker 1: you understood that because on your journey, it's gonna be
- 4:55Speaker 1: many obstacles. I've said this a hundred times on the show.
- 4:59Speaker 1: The road to success is always under construction. I say
- 5:02Speaker 1: that all the time, and it's to let you understand
- 5:06Speaker 1: that it's not going to be easy, but we can
- 5:10Speaker 1: make it more difficult than it has to be, you know,
- 5:14Speaker 1: when you go out strike out on the journey. You know, Uh,
- 5:18Speaker 1: let's say I got in my car. Let's say I'm
- 5:20Speaker 1: in New York and I get in my car and
- 5:24Speaker 1: I say I'm going to LA. I know, if I
- 5:27Speaker 1: drive west and continue to drive west, eventually I should
- 5:34Speaker 1: get to California, or I may wind up in Portland
- 5:38Speaker 1: or Seattle or something like that. But if I drive west,
- 5:42Speaker 1: I'm going to eventually get to the West Coast. Now
- 5:48Speaker 1: wouldn't it be smarter though, if I mapped out the route,
- 5:55Speaker 1: which saved me a bunch of driving I don't need
- 5:59Speaker 1: and figuring that I don't have to calculate when you
- 6:02Speaker 1: know the way to go. You know, if you know
- 6:07Speaker 1: you want to cut cross on the twenty, or you
- 6:11Speaker 1: want to cut cross on the seventy, or you want
- 6:14Speaker 1: to cut cross on the ten, you know you got
- 6:19Speaker 1: to devise a route. Now, if I want to go
- 6:21Speaker 1: visit some people I know, then I know I got
- 6:23Speaker 1: to I need to go down. You know, I might
- 6:25Speaker 1: go through on how I'll come down on the eighty,
- 6:28Speaker 1: then get on seventy one and take that all the
- 6:31Speaker 1: way down to the Tin and then ride across. Or
- 6:33Speaker 1: I might take it to the twenty cut through Texas
- 6:36Speaker 1: and then and then let it link back up on
- 6:38Speaker 1: the Tin. I know a lot of different ways, but
- 6:40Speaker 1: guess what the best way is to map it out?
- 6:45Speaker 1: You can go anywhere, but if you go with a map,
- 6:48Speaker 1: it's more precise. You save yourself a lot of time.
- 6:52Speaker 1: And that's what prayer has taught me that when I wouldentify,
- 6:56Speaker 1: continuously pray that I stay in the in the I
- 7:01Speaker 1: stay in a prepared mode, I have more idea of
- 7:04Speaker 1: where I'm going, I'm more secure with my route. If
- 7:07Speaker 1: you just take off driving heading west, yeah, you'll eventually
- 7:11Speaker 1: get to the west coast if you out east. But
- 7:14Speaker 1: guess what though, had you mapped it out, you can
- 7:17Speaker 1: see when you're veering off, you may stop, come out
- 7:20Speaker 1: and not be paying attention. Next thing you know, you're
- 7:23Speaker 1: on a route and you go on another where you're
- 7:25Speaker 1: going north when you could easily still be going west.
- 7:28Speaker 1: You've got to constantly be aware of that. And I'm
- 7:30Speaker 1: just pointing that out to you because I know that
- 7:32Speaker 1: on your journey a lot of times you get sidetracked.
- 7:36Speaker 1: And part of the ways we get sidetracked is we
- 7:39Speaker 1: lose out on that very the very beneficial resource of prayer.
- 7:44Speaker 1: We lose out we die. Connection with God get strained.
- 7:48Speaker 1: The thicker you can keep the cord connected to God.
- 7:53Speaker 1: If you thin out your communication with God and instead
- 7:57Speaker 1: of having a big, thick cable, Now you're dealing with
- 7:59Speaker 1: a little thread. You know, a cable is stronger than thread,
- 8:04Speaker 1: and so it just decreases your opportunity. And so you know,
- 8:09Speaker 1: I wanted to just make you aware of that, and
- 8:12Speaker 1: you know, to ever be encouraging to say to everybody
- 8:15Speaker 1: out there and just keep your head up. It is
- 8:17Speaker 1: going to be dark days for you. There are going
- 8:20Speaker 1: to be situations where it's going to be daunting and
- 8:23Speaker 1: hard to face. But man on, man on man, everybody
- 8:28Speaker 1: has to face these challenges. Everybody get dark sometimes. You know, look,
- 8:33Speaker 1: if you didn't lose, if you didn't lose, you wouldn't
- 8:37Speaker 1: even appreciate winning because if it all went your way
- 8:41Speaker 1: all the time. Do you know how complacent and content
- 8:45Speaker 1: and how easy life would be if it just went
- 8:50Speaker 1: your way all the time. So when it kept going
- 8:53Speaker 1: your way, you wouldn't even appreciate it because guess what,
- 8:55Speaker 1: it's been going this way the whole time. So what
- 8:58Speaker 1: life does is as its checks and balances. These hard
- 9:03Speaker 1: times are coming, and you need the hard times to
- 9:05Speaker 1: appreciate the good times. You need the clouds and you
- 9:09Speaker 1: need the rain to appreciate the sun. And the flowers.
- 9:14Speaker 1: It's just when it comes to prayer, though, just stay
- 9:19Speaker 1: prayed up, stay constant with it, because the challenges of
- 9:23Speaker 1: life are coming, whether you prayed up or not, they're coming.
- 9:28Speaker 1: Understand that you could pray every day all day. When
- 9:31Speaker 1: you get through praying every day all day, something gonna
- 9:34Speaker 1: happen to you. That's gonna be challenging. Now, I would
- 9:38Speaker 1: rather have been in communication with God on a regular
- 9:41Speaker 1: than wait till every time something pop off, to have
- 9:43Speaker 1: to go to and reintroduce myself. Okay, but over at
- 9:49Speaker 1: little around the board with it today. But that's how
- 9:51Speaker 1: it came to me. So that is I ain't mad
- 9:54Speaker 1: at it. Y'all have great day. We're gonna have a
- 9:55Speaker 1: good one to day. Let's go, ladies, gentlemen, girls, boys, Thanks. Thanks.
- 10:10Speaker 1: Like animals, aliens, everybody gonna talk to one of them.
- 10:16Speaker 1: You talk to who alien? You don't have no alien friends?
- 10:24Speaker 1: So go ahead, man, been here, let me see you
- 10:26Speaker 1: get out of this roe right here. So what y'all
- 10:28Speaker 1: talk about? What y'all talking about? I'm open. I'm open.
- 10:32Speaker 1: It's a good way to start. She'll go ahead to him. Okay,
- 10:35Speaker 1: he's from Mars, he's my friend, and he's been talking
- 10:39Speaker 1: about how they having mars quakes. You know, we have earthquakes,
- 10:42Speaker 1: they have mars quakes. So it's a lot going on
- 10:44Speaker 1: this similarity to what's happening up then what's happening down here?
- 10:47Speaker 1: I mean it's how you don't have no friends from
- 10:50Speaker 1: different No, don't worry about that. Where'd you see boy
- 10:53Speaker 1: come out of the house? Sometimes? Boy? Come on, Steve,
- 10:59Speaker 1: how does he get to that? You don't remember the
- 11:01Speaker 1: friend I used to play with when I was a
- 11:02Speaker 1: little Oh, I remember him? Marvin? You see him either,
- 11:09Speaker 1: But Marvin the marsh he exists, and you make me
- 11:12Speaker 1: so angry. I love the Disney cartoon se c C.
- 11:22Speaker 1: Jake got him, He got friends? Is anybody inside? Because
- 11:26Speaker 1: I am? Are you? Is that a question? Carlo? Seriously,
- 11:30Speaker 1: I'm looking around the room like he's got Martian friends.
- 11:34Speaker 1: That yeah, when they show up, when they show up,
- 11:38Speaker 1: you're gonna need me. See, You're gonna need me because
- 11:40Speaker 1: you ain't had nobody to know how to talk to him.
- 11:42Speaker 1: That's your problem. You need you need to get You
- 11:44Speaker 1: need somebody like me in your life. Hell yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 11:57Speaker 1: they show up nothing but a helmet with some sneakers
- 12:08Speaker 1: helmet and so now that explains it. Okay, that's gonna
- 12:20Speaker 1: be my friend. I'm done with her. You do you
- 12:29Speaker 1: got these shout as marshes stupid? Do they look stick
- 12:35Speaker 1: just to helmet with it? Some converse sneakers sticking up
- 12:39Speaker 1: on them and set the eye crazy because I got
- 12:46Speaker 1: right now he don't want to laugh. That's how he
- 12:51Speaker 1: looked in his football uniform. Okay, when we was little,
- 12:56Speaker 1: Tommy got a football uniform and that's how he looked. Look,
- 13:00Speaker 1: marshes money. But who's taller, you think though, dang guy,
- 13:13Speaker 1: but he'd got quiet you are you hire? All right?
- 13:25Speaker 1: Coming up at thirty two after the hour? Something funny?
- 13:29Speaker 1: You're listening morning show? All right, it is time now
- 13:33Speaker 1: to start your morning off with the nephew and run
- 13:35Speaker 1: that brank back. What you got for us, nest, get
- 13:38Speaker 1: ready for the gift. So let's go cat dogging. Hello. Hello,

- 16:01Speaker 1: don't even know you like that? I mean, you don't know,
- 16:03Speaker 1: I know, but I was, you know, that was my
- 16:05Speaker 1: way of like showing you that I admire you, that
- 16:08Speaker 1: I'm into you. You know that was just that's some
- 16:12Speaker 1: sick I don't need no more drows, especially no strange draws.
- 16:16Speaker 1: I got draws at the house. I got two sons
- 16:18Speaker 1: of husband. I watched draws every week. I don't need
- 16:21Speaker 1: no more draws. You don't do no like that, upsetting
- 16:24Speaker 1: my whole household. Have me damn the in divorce court
- 16:27Speaker 1: behind him drows. What I want to know is how
- 16:31Speaker 1: to hit off? Do you know me? How? How did
- 16:34Speaker 1: you get my address? Where I work? Where? Boy? How
- 16:37Speaker 1: did you know me? My phone number? How do you
- 16:41Speaker 1: know me? I don't get that? Where did you get
- 16:44Speaker 1: my trump? I tell you what Colin's number? Back? When

- 16:57Speaker 1: I'm not trying to have all of that. You explained him.
- 17:00Speaker 1: Get this off my because I had enough of this.
- 17:03Speaker 1: Drow was at my door. Okay, let me ask you
- 17:05Speaker 1: this here. Will you send me some of yours? You did?
- 17:09Speaker 1: Are you not listening? To me, Hell no, you can't
- 17:12Speaker 1: handle my drows Watch you ask my husband for him
- 17:15Speaker 1: when he call you in the morning. Watch you at
- 17:17Speaker 1: him for some of my drops. I thought I thought
- 17:19Speaker 1: it would be, you know, like a sign of something,
- 17:22Speaker 1: something implements something from me, you know, kind of like
- 17:25Speaker 1: a token of where I wanted the relationship to go.
- 17:29Speaker 1: I don't even know you. You got my damn in
- 17:33Speaker 1: divorce court behind some damn draws, and I don't even
- 17:38Speaker 1: know who the are you? How? Who are you? How
- 17:42Speaker 1: do you know so much about me? Where did you
- 17:44Speaker 1: get my address from? How do you know where I work?
- 17:47Speaker 1: How do you how you get my phone? Who are you? You?
- 17:51Speaker 1: She likes you to know you have, matter of fact,
- 17:56Speaker 1: what this number end? You can come back on this
- 17:58Speaker 1: number and I will it's home, So we can get
- 18:01Speaker 1: this straight. So you can talk to him. Do that
- 18:04Speaker 1: for me. Oh wait, wait, wait, wait, see I'm not
- 18:06Speaker 1: looking for no altercation now if if if, well you
- 18:10Speaker 1: look you're looking for something and you see them. Understand.
- 18:12Speaker 1: So I don't say that's what you want, because I'm
- 18:14Speaker 1: trying to explain to you. You didn't upset my whole household,
- 18:18Speaker 1: got my overhireden nerves and you ain't understanding that, so
- 18:22Speaker 1: obviously what you are looking for as an altercation. No,
- 18:24Speaker 1: I'm not looking for I'm looking for I'm looking for
- 18:28Speaker 1: some personal time with you. That's what I'm looking for.
- 18:31Speaker 1: My personal time is with my person. What about that?
- 18:34Speaker 1: Don't y'all understand? Will you send me a pair of
- 18:39Speaker 1: your underwear? What I mean? I mean? Is that asking
- 18:43Speaker 1: too much? If you just send me a pair of
- 18:45Speaker 1: our go away? I sentially y'all right? Give me an address? Yeah,
- 18:49Speaker 1: tell me where to send them? Tell me where to
- 18:51Speaker 1: send them? Right now? Are you gonna sell them? What? Say? Hell?
- 18:55Speaker 1: You sim an address? You give me the address and
- 18:57Speaker 1: no fact, my hand deliver like tonight. So you're trying
- 19:01Speaker 1: to create an officca. Why don't just give you a
- 19:03Speaker 1: po bock? Because so you're trying to create an affication. No,
- 19:06Speaker 1: give me your address, you got mine, you got my address.
- 19:09Speaker 1: Let me send you something to your address. No, no,
- 19:12Speaker 1: that's all right. Look, you know what? Can I say
- 19:14Speaker 1: one more thing to you? No? Yeah? You know what

- 21:22Speaker 1: Mississippi JELF coach Jonton sah Hi. This is Lisa Duncan
- 21:30Speaker 1: Collins from Knoxville, Tennessee, where we listen to Steve Harvey
- 21:35Speaker 1: every day on w JBE. I just want to wish
- 21:38Speaker 1: my family in Memphis and Mississippi a merry Christmas and
- 21:41Speaker 1: a blessed new Year. And thank you so much Steve
- 21:44Speaker 1: Harvey and the Steve Harvey Morning Crew for all that
- 21:46Speaker 1: you do. Marry Christmas season, screetings, and remember Jesus is
- 21:51Speaker 1: the reason for this season. All right, guys, time for
- 21:55Speaker 1: Steve's favorite segment, asked the CLO the Chief Love Office, Sir, oh,
- 22:02Speaker 1: you can submit your questions at Steve Harvey FM. Aren't
- 22:06Speaker 1: you ready, mister c l Oh? Of course, of course,
- 22:09Speaker 1: all right, of course, here we go. This one's from
- 22:11Speaker 1: Sonia and Hampton, Virginia. I don't know what that voice was.
- 22:14Speaker 1: I'm dating a man that's seventeen years older, and we
- 22:17Speaker 1: waited ninety days to be intimate. He was bragging about
- 22:22Speaker 1: all the things he was going to do to me,
- 22:24Speaker 1: and boy did he lie. The whole experience lasted two
- 22:29Speaker 1: point five minutes, and he fell asleep on top of me,
- 22:33Speaker 1: and the right side of my body went numb. He
- 22:37Speaker 1: got up four times during the night to use the bathroom,
- 22:40Speaker 1: and I woke up each time. Since then, I have
- 22:43Speaker 1: been making excuses not to sleep with him. I like him,
- 22:46Speaker 1: but I think he may be too old for me.
- 22:48Speaker 1: Do you think this was just a one time thing?
- 22:51Speaker 1: Or is this just what it's like to be an
- 22:52Speaker 1: older man? Now his ass is getting up. He ain't
- 22:56Speaker 1: gonna happen. He getting up? Yeah, he laid off. Want
- 23:00Speaker 1: to I tell you what you're gonna wish he hadn't
- 23:06Speaker 1: got it. You're gonna get your ass up. I don't
- 23:13Speaker 1: know what that is, but you're gonna get your ass
- 23:16Speaker 1: up for a time. You know, now be you know,
- 23:20Speaker 1: you know, eventually you learn how to sleep through it.
- 23:22Speaker 1: But your problem is the two minutes and then falling
- 23:25Speaker 1: to sleep and your left side going off. And then
- 23:28Speaker 1: after he lied about what all he was gonna do,
- 23:31Speaker 1: he did all he said he was gonna do. You
- 23:33Speaker 1: just didn't know I was gonna be that quick. In
- 23:36Speaker 1: record time, he did all of what he said he
- 23:40Speaker 1: was gonna do. Bring it, slang it, crumbling it up,
- 23:46Speaker 1: twist it, rubb it, flip it. He did all that.
- 23:50Speaker 1: He just packed it in two minutes. He did all
- 23:54Speaker 1: of it. You just ain't had time to react to
- 23:57Speaker 1: none two points minutes. So she's saying, is this just
- 24:03Speaker 1: a one time thing? Or is this what is like
- 24:05Speaker 1: being with an older man? No? No, no, no, no,
- 24:08Speaker 1: no you you you the time ain't got nothing to
- 24:11Speaker 1: do with your age. Let him four trips to the bathroom,
- 24:15Speaker 1: he gonna make them. That's gonna have to happen. Yeah,
- 24:18Speaker 1: especially if you're trying to do your water. Yeah, all right, Steve,
- 24:28Speaker 1: here we go. Danielle in Lansing, Michigan. My husband and
- 24:32Speaker 1: I have got to have the worst marriage ever. He's
- 24:35Speaker 1: cheated on me several times, and when I tried to
- 24:37Speaker 1: get back at him, I failed miserably. I had an
- 24:41Speaker 1: affair and we did it on my living room couch.
- 24:44Speaker 1: My husband found a little piece of the condom wrapper,
- 24:46Speaker 1: and he thought I was trying to be funny to
- 24:48Speaker 1: make him jealous. He never even suspected me of cheating,
- 24:52Speaker 1: so I got mad. I wanted him to be hurt
- 24:55Speaker 1: and confront me. We are in our mid thirties and
- 24:57Speaker 1: I want my husband to be faithful, but I don't
- 25:00Speaker 1: know if he will ever change. How will I know
- 25:02Speaker 1: when it's time to leave? Wait a minute, Wait a minute,
- 25:06Speaker 1: what y'all got to work? You You wanted him to
- 25:10Speaker 1: be mad, but you want him to be faithful. Wait
- 25:17Speaker 1: a minute. You left for a piece of condom on
- 25:20Speaker 1: the couch. You wanted him to be mad. The condom
- 25:24Speaker 1: was with another man, but you want him to be
- 25:26Speaker 1: faithful in his house. Girl. Try jesus. Yeah, y'all's y'all's
- 25:37Speaker 1: marriage is over now? Yeah? It can't be mad with
- 25:41Speaker 1: somebody else, right, I mean, I mean, you're doing stuff
- 25:44Speaker 1: to make him jealous, and it's the same thing he did.
- 25:47Speaker 1: Two wrongs don't make it right. This is a rap man.
- 25:49Speaker 1: If y'all ain't gonna do right, just going to be
- 25:51Speaker 1: by yourself because both y'all doing other people, Yeah, in
- 25:57Speaker 1: the in their house, still in their home? Alright to
- 26:00Speaker 1: here are you doing? Mid thirties? Mid thirties love? Right there?
- 26:04Speaker 1: All right? This is from SIS in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
- 26:08Speaker 1: She says, I was married for SIS. I was married
- 26:12Speaker 1: for eleven years, and I filed for divorce when I
- 26:15Speaker 1: found out that my husband was cheating with a family friend.
- 26:19Speaker 1: I was devastated because this girl was always at his
- 26:23Speaker 1: family's gatherings and they were messing around in front of me.
- 26:27Speaker 1: I can fide it in his mom, and she told
- 26:30Speaker 1: me that she was aware, but she was keeping it
- 26:32Speaker 1: a secret from everyone because my husband and this woman
- 26:36Speaker 1: are third cousins. My husband doesn't even know what he
- 26:41Speaker 1: is doing is sick and disgusting. I want to tell
- 26:45Speaker 1: him and the rest of the family, but his mom
- 26:48Speaker 1: has begged me not to. Should I do it anyway? Well, see,
- 26:53Speaker 1: all you want to do that for is to expose
- 26:56Speaker 1: him and hurt him. That's all that's for. There's nothing
- 27:00Speaker 1: about your marriage. This ain't about your marriage, and what
- 27:05Speaker 1: he's doing is sickening. And disgusting. You don't like the
- 27:08Speaker 1: fact that he's cheating on you, the fact that it's
- 27:10Speaker 1: his third cousin, that's that's that's crazy. But I mean,
- 27:15Speaker 1: what what good is it gonna do you? But this
- 27:19Speaker 1: is not a scripture. And I just learned this wasn't
- 27:21Speaker 1: a scripture recently, So that was a shocker for me.
- 27:24Speaker 1: Hell hath no fury like a woman scorn. I used
- 27:29Speaker 1: to actually thought that was a script Yeah I did, Yeah,
- 27:32Speaker 1: I did, I did. I really thought that was a scripture.
- 27:34Speaker 1: I just learned that it wasn't. A year though, hell
- 27:36Speaker 1: hath no fear like a woman's seeing us? How I've
- 27:39Speaker 1: had several of them women with with hell hath a fear? Yeah,
- 27:42Speaker 1: you don't want to you don't want to mess with that.
- 27:45Speaker 1: You don't want to mess with that. It felt like
- 27:47Speaker 1: it was, well, Steve, she's already filed for divorce. Yeah,
- 27:51Speaker 1: I mean, just going to get your divorce. What is
- 27:54Speaker 1: telling the family about? Yeah? I mean, I know you're
- 27:58Speaker 1: mad and all this here, but it's hopeful. They don't
- 28:04Speaker 1: really count either. With with black people, thirds count, right,
- 28:13Speaker 1: you know, when Tommy tells you listen to me. When
- 28:16Speaker 1: Tommy tells you, Jay, yes it do you have crossed
- 28:22Speaker 1: the stupid barrier. There's still some blood in there somewhere
- 28:25Speaker 1: right you have you have kicked over the construction signs. Okay,
- 28:33Speaker 1: so you can't do none of that. In my damn family,
- 28:38Speaker 1: we don't play that. We do not play that. Looking
- 28:42Speaker 1: at that, Thank you. Coming up more of the Steve
- 28:45Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show right after this. You're listening to Steve
- 28:50Speaker 1: Morning Show. Christmas is fast approaching. We all know that
- 28:56Speaker 1: time to get the toys together. However, the elves, I
- 28:59Speaker 1: didn't know this. The elves are on strike and with
- 29:04Speaker 1: some grievances. Uh, I got this, I got this summer handle.
- 29:08Speaker 1: Listen myself because it's something that I'm I'm good at
- 29:12Speaker 1: doing because I'm a former union man and elves. Uh,
- 29:17Speaker 1: elves have decided it came to me with a lot
- 29:20Speaker 1: of complaints and I'm being they representative. Now. We wanted
- 29:24Speaker 1: Timmy to stand up for them, but then he was
- 29:28Speaker 1: already standing up. They went, we need somebody that's standing
- 29:35Speaker 1: for it. That looked like they actually standing, So I
- 29:38Speaker 1: said I would do it. The elves this year are
- 29:43Speaker 1: going on strike. Well they haven't gone on yet, but
- 29:46Speaker 1: they're threatening to go on strike. The elves up wanting
- 29:50Speaker 1: to sit out this year. Santa Claus is having trouble
- 29:53Speaker 1: because he's trying to talk to these damn the elves
- 29:55Speaker 1: about their concern So I'm here with grievances and I
- 30:01Speaker 1: want to start by saying these are the elves grievouss,
- 30:05Speaker 1: and I will be preparing these statements on behalf of
- 30:09Speaker 1: the Ill Foundation. We the elves who work at the
- 30:14Speaker 1: North Pole, are requesting the following changes. Please show your
- 30:20Speaker 1: support through our website www dot help elves dot com.
- 30:27Speaker 1: If you're gonna help the elves, help elves dot com. Tommy,
- 30:31Speaker 1: don't act like you don't. So you know, we read
- 30:41Speaker 1: all the complaints that the elves have and here we go.
- 30:45Speaker 1: Number one problem that they have it We the elves
- 30:50Speaker 1: would like to stop making these damn wooden toys. No,
- 30:56Speaker 1: no kid won't no damn wooden toy. And we've been
- 31:01Speaker 1: making them for years. Okay, ain't nobody asks for now?
- 31:05Speaker 1: When he wouldn't wheel, he wouldn't page white lock, they
- 31:10Speaker 1: got real toys now. Secondly, we the elms are requesting
- 31:15Speaker 1: to have a casual Friday, so when we ain't got
- 31:19Speaker 1: to wear these stupid ass uniform, tight ass pants, these
- 31:24Speaker 1: pointed hats. We want a casual frid voicing the concerns
- 31:30Speaker 1: and elves have and and considered on going on strike,
- 31:34Speaker 1: and they wanted me to convey this to sent a
- 31:36Speaker 1: class and everybody listen, We the elms, huh, would like
- 31:40Speaker 1: to request a thirty minute smoke break. They smash, We smoked,
- 31:49Speaker 1: and then we want to be able to go outside
- 31:52Speaker 1: and smoke whatever we want. They try makings without it.
- 32:03Speaker 1: Elves don't get high. Here's the next complaint on behalf
- 32:08Speaker 1: of the hells Elves. We the elves have voted to
- 32:11Speaker 1: eliminate bring your kids to work day. The truth of
- 32:18Speaker 1: the matter is elves really don't like kids. No, we
- 32:26Speaker 1: don't damn that because they think we kids too, just
- 32:31Speaker 1: because we're short. Get your damn hands off of me.
- 32:39Speaker 1: I drove here into sleeve. Next complaint that they have,
- 32:46Speaker 1: we the Elves are uncomfortable wearing knees damn funny toe shoes.
- 32:54Speaker 1: That heard that he didn't get We want crocks to
- 32:59Speaker 1: be the new official Elves shop Crocks and Gators to
- 33:06Speaker 1: be the new elve shoe. Do the Elves I'm doing?
- 33:10Speaker 1: Complain you don't act like you ain't with them. You
- 33:15Speaker 1: trying to have a complaint at Elves and pilgrims have
- 33:22Speaker 1: the same shoe. Do you know I'm not I'm not well,
- 33:31Speaker 1: let's quit this game. Next complaint, We the elves do
- 33:38Speaker 1: not like elves shirts and pants. They ain't got no
- 33:41Speaker 1: damn pockets, and we want to start using fanny paths
- 33:50Speaker 1: so when we go outside and take our smoke break,
- 33:53Speaker 1: we'll have our stuff with the next complaint, We the
- 33:59Speaker 1: elves understand that we on the north pole, but some
- 34:03Speaker 1: of the younger els wants to cut back on the
- 34:07Speaker 1: heat being so high all the time in the workshop.
- 34:12Speaker 1: The older els is fine. We the elms would like
- 34:25Speaker 1: to assign ten els each year to ride around with Sanna,
- 34:30Speaker 1: because we think it's unfair that we make all the
- 34:32Speaker 1: damn tords and we don't ever get going on fat ass,
- 34:38Speaker 1: just be packing up the slid with the rain dud. Damn,
- 34:41Speaker 1: we made the tord a couple more quickly. We the els,
- 34:48Speaker 1: we still love miss Claws and we know she's very
- 34:51Speaker 1: nice and she's never too busy to being down and
- 34:54Speaker 1: give us a hook, but we still would like to
- 34:57Speaker 1: know exactly what do she do over the cooks, the
- 35:04Speaker 1: cooks for everybody. We had nothing from her. We gotta
- 35:11Speaker 1: at last, We're not least. We the ale support the
- 35:14Speaker 1: me too movement. That's real strong up here, and some
- 35:19Speaker 1: of the female ales are requesting that's Santa, refrain from
- 35:24Speaker 1: saying ho ho ho ho. And on that note, we're
- 35:29Speaker 1: gonna go go. You're listening to show. All right, guys,
- 35:36Speaker 1: it's time for would you rather here we go now?
- 35:40Speaker 1: Would you rather take a body shot off your partner,
- 35:45Speaker 1: your date, whoever you're with, or would you rather for
- 35:48Speaker 1: them to take a body shot off you? This? This
- 35:51Speaker 1: this like a jello thing, ll feless shot. Would you
- 35:56Speaker 1: take a shot off of them? Or shot off you
- 35:59Speaker 1: ain't gonna lead the level of Lnton my billy button.
- 36:01Speaker 1: Let me take the one off of you. I'm not
- 36:05Speaker 1: My stomach can't hold a shot glass. It's gonna keeping
- 36:08Speaker 1: I promise, yeah, take off, it's gonna keep flipping over.
- 36:14Speaker 1: I was just what about you, Steve. You didn't answer.
- 36:18Speaker 1: I don't even know what that is, but a body shot,
- 36:23Speaker 1: I definitely take it off her though, yeah didn't. I
- 36:29Speaker 1: got big enough lips. You don't even need the glass.
- 36:37Speaker 1: Get your body shot off for you all right, here's
- 36:41Speaker 1: another one. Would you rather be in the Hall of
- 36:44Speaker 1: Fame for a sports career or a music career? Oh?
- 36:50Speaker 1: Oh sports? Yeah, not music as much as you love music. Oh,
- 36:56Speaker 1: Roscoe Wallace already got that covered. I ain't worried about that.
- 36:59Speaker 1: My alt in the Rocky Hall of Fame all day.
- 37:04Speaker 1: Every time somebody get inducted, it him. He get credit
- 37:07Speaker 1: for all that this show. What about you now? Music?
- 37:13Speaker 1: I can't sang a lick every night. I know you
- 37:15Speaker 1: weren't gonna say sports. Shut up, junior, there for what music? Music?
- 37:25Speaker 1: What is you gonna be? The little drummer boy? Yeah?
- 37:35Speaker 1: I remember when Tom was a little boy and he
- 37:37Speaker 1: was in the Christmas Player. He got mad, We're not
- 37:40Speaker 1: gonna do it this year. We're not gonna do it.
- 37:43Speaker 1: That's what I said. That's what I was trying to
- 37:45Speaker 1: tell him every year, because I just Tom was so small.
- 37:49Speaker 1: Every year I made him play Baby Jesus. He won't
- 37:55Speaker 1: he won't be a wise man's brain. Ain't got no
- 37:57Speaker 1: time be trying to explain how little your asses as
- 38:01Speaker 1: a man. You're a little boy. You find to be
- 38:04Speaker 1: Baby Jesus every yearing to lay down in that hey,
- 38:07Speaker 1: and quit moving and keep your face covered. You look old.
- 38:17Speaker 1: Come on, sir, all right, I'm wise man this year.
- 38:23Speaker 1: You're not gonna be no man in this place. You're
- 38:27Speaker 1: too short, baby Jesus. All right, coming up in forty nine,
- 38:32Speaker 1: Thank you, guys, coming up, quick water him and lay
- 38:35Speaker 1: him in that damn hey. All right, we'll be back
- 38:38Speaker 1: with more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show right after this.
- 38:42Speaker 1: You're listening Steven Show. All right, guys, it is time
- 38:48Speaker 1: for comedy Roulette to please. Jay. Set this one up
- 38:51Speaker 1: for us. Tell us, And it's so important to explain
- 38:54Speaker 1: this because we get new listeners every day and we're
- 38:58Speaker 1: doing a different section that people are not aware of.
- 39:02Speaker 1: So that's why I take the time to explain. And
- 39:08Speaker 1: it's very simple. You take for subjects and you put
- 39:13Speaker 1: them on a wheel, and you take them on the wheel.
- 39:17Speaker 1: You spun the wheel and which stop. We can do
- 39:22Speaker 1: the damn thing because we's comedians were good? All right,
- 39:30Speaker 1: here we go. These are the subjects for today. Things
- 39:34Speaker 1: you can do to get people to leave your house.
- 39:38Speaker 1: Things you say to people who've overdecorated for the holiday.
- 39:46Speaker 1: Things you say to people who have underdecorated for the holidays.
- 39:52Speaker 1: And here's the last one. Things you say when you
- 39:54Speaker 1: didn't get what you wanted for Christmas? Okay, yeah, all
- 40:00Speaker 1: of those again. Yeah, yeah, let's go, let's spind the wheel,
- 40:08Speaker 1: come on over decorated. Yeah, oh oh, I thought it
- 40:14Speaker 1: was gonna stop on over decorating, but now it stopped on.
- 40:17Speaker 1: Things you say when you didn't get what you wanted
- 40:20Speaker 1: for Chris the same as Steve's bad acting theater. No, no, no, no, no,
- 40:25Speaker 1: not at all. No. I don't even know how you
- 40:27Speaker 1: got that out of that. But all right, these are
- 40:32Speaker 1: things you say when you didn't get what you want
- 40:35Speaker 1: for Christmas. Yeah, let's go the things you say when
- 40:38Speaker 1: you didn't get what you say? Oh, come, oh this
- 40:42Speaker 1: is nice? And this one lights up? What is it
- 40:47Speaker 1: with that attitude? That's how you say it, that's what
- 40:51Speaker 1: you're saying, how you say it. Yeah, Junior, I'll tell
- 40:55Speaker 1: you what this is something I actually say it as
- 40:56Speaker 1: a kid. But I didn't get what I want on
- 40:58Speaker 1: huh for Christmas? And they were standing there a boy parents,
- 41:01Speaker 1: but I was about teen. I said, tea, you said
- 41:06Speaker 1: the actual words. Yeah. Yeah, when you open that box
- 41:10Speaker 1: of the day, what you're supposed to get Oh, thank you,
- 41:17Speaker 1: I'll uh. I put this in the drawer with that
- 41:19Speaker 1: racket ass time you about last. I ain't grateful. Well,
- 41:25Speaker 1: you didn't get what you want like that this one.
- 41:29Speaker 1: This is what you say at work. I knew when
- 41:31Speaker 1: he pulled my name it wasn't gonna be worth for damn.
- 41:36Speaker 1: I can't change. I knew what thing you saved and
- 41:45Speaker 1: you didn't get you Yeah, a pound cake? Huh, thanks
- 41:50Speaker 1: a lot, Yeah to a diabetic. Things you say when
- 41:59Speaker 1: you don't get what you want for Christmas? What happened?
- 42:02Speaker 1: Check short again, check shot again? Huh? Come on now? Why? Why? Why?
- 42:11Speaker 1: In the hill? What I wanted to kids? I don't
- 42:14Speaker 1: work on that. Come on, man, really, I don't work
- 42:20Speaker 1: guys A s thoughts account? Come on, Steve. Black people
- 42:26Speaker 1: don't eat fruitcake. I can't stand that damn fruitcake? What
- 42:32Speaker 1: is some damn green things in? Now? What is that? Cherish?
- 42:38Speaker 1: The actual snowshovel? I live in La Thanks. These people
- 42:48Speaker 1: say what they don't get what they want for Christmas.
- 42:50Speaker 1: I already know the story of Jesus. I already know it. Duffy,
- 43:02Speaker 1: who eats this basket of cheese? Who eats that? Who
- 43:06Speaker 1: eats that. This is all right, Steve, come on closing out.
- 43:14Speaker 1: That's why we're getting a divorce. This damn Croc pop.
- 43:24Speaker 1: This is the last thing it won't know. Damn Croc pod.
- 43:30Speaker 1: That was me who said that one. Sorry, all right,
- 43:34Speaker 1: I'm next. It is the nephew with the praying phone
- 43:37Speaker 1: call that's coming up right after this you're listening, Coming
- 43:44Speaker 1: up at the top of the hour, right about four

- 53:11Speaker 1: Buckle up, hold on tight. We got it for you here.
- 53:14Speaker 1: It is a Strawberry letter. Dear Stephen Shirley, I'm a
- 53:18Speaker 1: twenty nine year old single guy and I've been attracted
- 53:21Speaker 1: to a twenty seven year old beautiful woman for four
- 53:24Speaker 1: months and I finally got the nerve to ask her
- 53:27Speaker 1: for her number. When I met her, I did everything
- 53:30Speaker 1: in my power to sweep her off her feet. I
- 53:33Speaker 1: am a police officer and I work the night shift,
- 53:37Speaker 1: so I'm home during the day. She is my mail carrier,
- 53:40Speaker 1: and it was an instant attraction when I saw her.
- 53:44Speaker 1: I wait each day for her to come by. I
- 53:47Speaker 1: get out of bed and go buy her chick filet
- 53:49Speaker 1: and Popeyes, McDonald's and all kinds of snacks on a
- 53:53Speaker 1: daily basis. Some days I surprised her with flowers, and
- 53:57Speaker 1: I even bought a necklace for her and I left
- 54:00Speaker 1: it in her mail truck. She is a single mother,
- 54:03Speaker 1: so she said she appreciates the kind gestures and surprises.
- 54:06Speaker 1: We talk on the phone occasionally, but I want to
- 54:09Speaker 1: take this relationship further and really get to know her
- 54:14Speaker 1: more than a few times I have called her and
- 54:16Speaker 1: she has an answered or called me back. She has
- 54:20Speaker 1: said she was either sleep or busy with her daughter.
- 54:23Speaker 1: We went on one date recently, but it was during
- 54:26Speaker 1: her work shift, so she couldn't really sit and chat
- 54:30Speaker 1: like I wanted her to. I feel like she's showing
- 54:33Speaker 1: me signs that she's not really interested, but I'm having
- 54:36Speaker 1: a hard time walking away because she is beautiful, has
- 54:39Speaker 1: a good job, and is a nice girl. I feel
- 54:42Speaker 1: that there's something special about her. I made it clear
- 54:44Speaker 1: how I feel about her, and she told me that
- 54:47Speaker 1: she's not dating right now, just focusing on her career.
- 54:51Speaker 1: I've been feeling foolish because I have not stopped spoiling
- 54:54Speaker 1: her during the day. I need to know if I
- 54:57Speaker 1: should stop and see if she miss me and reaches out,
- 55:01Speaker 1: or should I keep it a while keep it up
- 55:03Speaker 1: a while longer and see if she comes around. Please advise. Um, gee,
- 55:08Speaker 1: you can't take a hint hum um. Uh, you know
- 55:13Speaker 1: you're you're trying way too hard. It's almost, you know,
- 55:16Speaker 1: to the point of, uh, you know, kind of I
- 55:21Speaker 1: don't want to say stalker because that's a serious term,
- 55:24Speaker 1: but you're you're, you're kind of over there with all
- 55:27Speaker 1: your your gestures. I mean, you're a nice guy. It
- 55:29Speaker 1: seems you're thoughtful, You generous, buying her flowers and snacks
- 55:33Speaker 1: and even jewelry. Uh, it seems like you're a good man.
- 55:37Speaker 1: But I don't know, you know, if you're a police officer. Uh,
- 55:43Speaker 1: she's told you that she's focusing on her career. That
- 55:47Speaker 1: is code when someone doesn't want to hurt your feelings
- 55:49Speaker 1: to tell you that they're not interested. Okay, When you
- 55:53Speaker 1: call her and she doesn't answer and she says she
- 55:55Speaker 1: was sleep or busy with her daughter, that's another code
- 55:59Speaker 1: telling you calling her she doesn't want to be bothered.
- 56:02Speaker 1: You went on a date with her. How can you
- 56:04Speaker 1: even call this a date? It was during her work shift.
- 56:07Speaker 1: You couldn't even sit out and chat with her. It
- 56:10Speaker 1: doesn't sound like you Guys have anything in common. You said,
- 56:14Speaker 1: you feel like she's showing you signs that she's not
- 56:17Speaker 1: really interested. She is. She is showing you signs she
- 56:21Speaker 1: is not interested. You're having a hard time walking away
- 56:24Speaker 1: because she's beautiful and she has a good job, and
- 56:27Speaker 1: she's a nice girl, and that all may be true,
- 56:30Speaker 1: but the feeling has to be reciprocated. She has to
- 56:33Speaker 1: feel the same way, and nothing in this letter is
- 56:36Speaker 1: showing me that she feels the same way about you
- 56:40Speaker 1: as you do about her. So if I were you,
- 56:42Speaker 1: I would back off. I would back off instead of
- 56:45Speaker 1: waiting till she comes with all these gifts. She doesn't
- 56:49Speaker 1: seem interested. I think you should move on, Steve Doll, Doll,
- 56:57Speaker 1: don't listen to nothing. Surely see listen to me, dog.
- 57:03Speaker 1: Everything Shirley said about the woman, it's one truth. She's
- 57:08Speaker 1: not interested. She's not reciprocating the things you're waiting on
- 57:12Speaker 1: her to come around. She ain't came around. She's not interested.
- 57:17Speaker 1: You can't take her hint. All that's true, But Dog,
- 57:23Speaker 1: this is the business we end. We hunt. Show me
- 57:30Speaker 1: the deal that wants to get shot, Show me the
- 57:38Speaker 1: fish that wants to get caught. Show me the turkey
- 57:45Speaker 1: that wants to die in the woods, but deal turns
- 57:51Speaker 1: into venison fish turns into Philet's turkey goals with dressing.
- 58:04Speaker 1: Work it out for yourself. Boy, don't you give up
- 58:08Speaker 1: this man. She could be the one you have to pursue.
- 58:14Speaker 1: It's only been four most she twenty seven. She told
- 58:18Speaker 1: you she focusing on her career. She the male man.
- 58:23Speaker 1: She's like, how hard you got to focus? Put that
- 58:26Speaker 1: damn stuff in that bag. Let read these ad dresses
- 58:28Speaker 1: and put it in the box. Ignore that she's your
- 58:36Speaker 1: male carrier. As soon as you saw her, you was
- 58:39Speaker 1: attract You wait for it to come back. You get
- 58:42Speaker 1: out of bed to go by her. Now here here where?
- 58:45Speaker 1: I thank you making a mistake. Chick fil A, Popeyes,
- 58:49Speaker 1: McDonald you gotta stop with the fat snacks. I know
- 58:53Speaker 1: you're gonna say something about that. Steve, you got to
- 58:56Speaker 1: stop with the fat snacks. Slow down, slow down a
- 59:02Speaker 1: little bit. Let's let's we got to do another approach.
- 59:05Speaker 1: Some days I surprised her with flowers. That was kind
- 59:09Speaker 1: of cool. I bought a necklace for her and left
- 59:11Speaker 1: it in her mail truck. Okay, she's a single mother,
- 59:14Speaker 1: she says. She appreciates the kindestures and surprises. We talk
- 59:18Speaker 1: on the phone occasionally. She'd gave you her number. Don't
- 59:22Speaker 1: worry about what she' only talking about. Keep the pursuit.
- 59:27Speaker 1: Pursue cracked the cold, all right, hang on, hang on,
- 59:33Speaker 1: you have more. I'm sure we'll have part two of
- 59:36Speaker 1: Steve's response coming up at twenty three after the hours.
- 59:39Speaker 1: Subject I love getting the mail every day. We'll get
- 59:43Speaker 1: back into it right after this. You're listening, all right, Steve,
- 59:49Speaker 1: Come on, let's recap today's strawberry letters. Subject I love
- 59:53Speaker 1: getting the mail every day. Twenty nine year old police
- 59:56Speaker 1: officer then got attracted to his twenty seven year old
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: beautiful male carrier. She's a single mother. He's done everything
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: in his power to sweep off her feet. He worked
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: a night shift, so I'm home during the day. She's
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: my mail carrier. Instant attraction shoons I saw. I wait
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: for it to come back. I get out of bed
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: about Chick fil a Popeyes McDonald's. I told you, Earli
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: stopped the fat snacks. Some days, I surprised with flowers.
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: I even bought a necklace for and left it in
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: her mail truck. She's a single mother. So she said,
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: she appreciates the kind gestures and surprises. We talk on
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: the phone occasionally. That's cause she gave you her number.
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: You are police, offer sup run her information, get her
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: tag number. Oh you're a cop. See you got it.
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: What's happening to you right now is you come across
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: a little corny with the bags of food. Because you
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: make a woman think, oh he think I'm fat. Oh dude,
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: I look like I won't just fast food every day.
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: You got her thinking that. So you gotta change your
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: approach because you just come across a little corny. That's
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: probably what's happening. You just come across a little corny.
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: So you gotta change the approach here. But you cannot
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: stop the pursuit. The pursuit is real. Keep trying break
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: her down with persistence, sincerity, love her man, show her
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: an interest she's never seen before. That's what wins hearts over.
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: She says, she just don't feel like Dayton. But y'all,
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: don went out on a date. She does not work.
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: So what she said, yeah she went. Now I've called
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: her and she has an answer to called me back.
- 1:01:59Speaker 1: She says she was either sleep or busy with her daughter. Dog,
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: you work nights, you home during the day. The woman sleep,
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: ain't got a daughter, that's real. We went on one
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: day recently, but it was doing her workshield, so she
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: couldn't sit and chat like I wanted it too. I
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: feel like she's showing me shine signs that she's really
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: not interested. She is showing you signs that she ain't interested.
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: But what I got to do with what we do?
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: That ain't got nothing to do with who we are.
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: Not many women out of had to pursue. It wasn't
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: interested in me. I was interested in them. Hey, Steve,
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: can I see something? Yeah? Remember that you told her?
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: You told me the story. I think you told it
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: on the air too. I don't know if you're working
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: at the Ford Company, but I WoT her down at
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: Ford Motor Company. I love you. Yeah, every day, dog,
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: I WoT her down. Dog. Everybody laughing at me, hall Man,
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: she man. She been at three years. They never went
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: out with none of us. That's none of y'all. Every
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: day I got you don't want me now, that's because
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: you don't see how good I am. I'm gonna keep
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: showing you goodness. I've been feeling foolish because I have
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: not stopped spoiling her during the day. I need to
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: know if I should stop and see if she misses
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: me and reaches out. You could try that game. But
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: once that fall so you mess around and take a
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: day off. Other players this day. Don't take days off,
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: you know, on a little week or two you take off.
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: Maybe another dude slide in. You ain't got no time

- 1:04:12Speaker 1: a man to love her child? Man? See if you
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: can take him to the park on your off day,
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: just to the park with the child. Can I just
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: meet y'all at the park? Push that baby in the
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: swing shoe game up? Dog, Come on twenty nine. Just
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: what we do hunt, We pursue that which we think
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: deserves the pursuit. The Constitution says every American has the
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: right to the pursuit of happiness. She is your happiness.
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: Why would you not pursue hug You just got to
- 1:04:48Speaker 1: change the route in which you're taken. Do you hear me, boy, boy,

- 1:08:16Speaker 1: as the road. Tone the collar and built is a

- 1:17:07Speaker 1: little time be trying to explain how little your asses
- 1:17:10Speaker 1: as a man. You're a little boy. You fend to
- 1:17:14Speaker 1: be baby Jesus every year, and to lay down in
- 1:17:16Speaker 1: that hey and quit moving and keep your face covered.

- 1:18:01Speaker 1: it's time to check your voicemail. If you want to
- 1:18:03Speaker 1: leave Steve a message, call us right now at eight
- 1:18:06Speaker 1: seven seven twenty nine Steve and leave a message. Okay,
- 1:18:09Speaker 1: Hello Steve. This is Jeff James word from Louisville, Kentucky,
- 1:18:13Speaker 1: wishing you and your crew a happy holiday, stay safe
- 1:18:18Speaker 1: and God bless you height than. This is Tony Carr
- 1:18:21Speaker 1: from way across in Georgia. I just want to wish
- 1:18:22Speaker 1: you I'll have a blessing, merry Christmas and a happy
- 1:18:25Speaker 1: New Year. Thank you, yo, Steve Harvey. This is Fred Robinson,
- 1:18:29Speaker 1: the Tampa area. I'd like to say Merry Christmas to
- 1:18:33Speaker 1: you and the crew. All right, man, love you bro
- 1:18:36Speaker 1: Hey listen, Steve, Philadelphia, FTA. You just wanted to see
- 1:18:41Speaker 1: that he loves you at our worst time. Let's see
- 1:18:43Speaker 1: every morning. Keep it cool, keep keep it blessed. All right, Steve,
- 1:18:49Speaker 1: it's time for your closing remarks. Um. Today I want
- 1:18:55Speaker 1: to talk to you about a subject about how to
- 1:18:57Speaker 1: succeed in spite of lack of support. Let me say
- 1:19:03Speaker 1: that again, how to succeed in spite of lack of support.
- 1:19:11Speaker 1: You know, it's hard. It's hard, it really really is
- 1:19:17Speaker 1: to make it without a support system. But it's doable.
- 1:19:22Speaker 1: But even if you don't have support around you initially,
- 1:19:26Speaker 1: you can find support because see, support doesn't have to
- 1:19:31Speaker 1: be for your specific idea. It's just you just have
- 1:19:34Speaker 1: to have someone to support the fact that you want
- 1:19:37Speaker 1: to become better. So the best way to do that
- 1:19:40Speaker 1: is surround yourself with some people who want to become better.
- 1:19:44Speaker 1: You don't have to become better at the same thing
- 1:19:48Speaker 1: or have the same interests, just the mere fact that
- 1:19:52Speaker 1: everybody you start associating yourself with wants to be better.
- 1:19:57Speaker 1: That is plenty of support the fact that nobody believes
- 1:20:00Speaker 1: specifically in your dreams. Nah, you don't need that, But
- 1:20:06Speaker 1: the fact that somebody will support your dreams no matter
- 1:20:09Speaker 1: what they are, because you dad to dream them. That's
- 1:20:13Speaker 1: what you're looking for. So don't get too bit out
- 1:20:17Speaker 1: of shape when people don't support your dreams. A lot
- 1:20:20Speaker 1: of times people don't support your dreams because they just don't.
- 1:20:24Speaker 1: The first of all, they don't get it. God didn't
- 1:20:30Speaker 1: give them the same vision he gave you. That's why
- 1:20:33Speaker 1: sharing your dreams with people is so tough sometimes, because
- 1:20:36Speaker 1: if you want to kill a big dream. I've often
- 1:20:38Speaker 1: said this many times before, but if you want to
- 1:20:41Speaker 1: kill a big dream, didn't tell it to a small
- 1:20:44Speaker 1: minded person. That's the fastest way to kill it. But
- 1:20:48Speaker 1: you can also kill it by expecting them to see
- 1:20:52Speaker 1: what you see, because they're not. They can't see what
- 1:20:58Speaker 1: you see. God did not place it in their imagination.
- 1:21:03Speaker 1: See your imagination is yours. Albert Einstein said, imagination is everything.
- 1:21:10Speaker 1: It's the preview to life's coming attractions. One more time,
- 1:21:13Speaker 1: Albert Einstein said, imagination is everything. It's the preview to
- 1:21:17Speaker 1: life's coming attraction. But your imagination is also the evidence
- 1:21:23Speaker 1: of things not seen, which is the second half of
- 1:21:27Speaker 1: very very powerful scripture that says faith it's a substance
- 1:21:30Speaker 1: of things hope for and the evidence of things not seen.
- 1:21:37Speaker 1: Your imagination is the second half of description. When they
- 1:21:40Speaker 1: say the evidence of things not seen, it's a reference
- 1:21:44Speaker 1: to your imagination. See, imagination is everything. It's the preview
- 1:21:49Speaker 1: the life's coming attraction. But your imagination comes from God.
- 1:21:54Speaker 1: So it is the evidence of things not seen. And
- 1:21:57Speaker 1: the reason they say is evidence of things not seen
- 1:22:00Speaker 1: because your imagination, you're the only one that can see it.
- 1:22:05Speaker 1: You can't expect nobody else to see it because God
- 1:22:07Speaker 1: didn't put it in their head. But your imagination is
- 1:22:10Speaker 1: actually a preview of a coming attraction that God has
- 1:22:15Speaker 1: for you. That's actually what your imagination is. If you
- 1:22:19Speaker 1: could wrap your mind around that concept, folks, it would
- 1:22:22Speaker 1: serve you well. Because I used to did not understand
- 1:22:25Speaker 1: my imagination. Why does it keep going to all of
- 1:22:28Speaker 1: these places? Why does my imagination keep getting away from
- 1:22:32Speaker 1: me like this man? My imagination wasn't getting away from me.
- 1:22:36Speaker 1: It was taking me places. It was taking me places
- 1:22:39Speaker 1: through the form of imagination that I would dare to
- 1:22:42Speaker 1: dream of. My imagination was so explicit and so big.
- 1:22:47Speaker 1: It had me seeing stuff in myself that it had
- 1:22:51Speaker 1: me seeing stuff about myself that I didn't know about myself.
- 1:22:56Speaker 1: I didn't know that my imagination would take me here.
- 1:23:01Speaker 1: And really, God has taken me further than my imagination
- 1:23:05Speaker 1: because He has this thing called grace. So what it is,
- 1:23:10Speaker 1: y'all is, look, how do you succeed in spite of
