- 0:05Speaker 1: don't know, y'all a suit on looking back to back down,
- 0:13Speaker 1: giving them just like theming bu bu things and it's
- 0:19Speaker 1: not good. Steve hasten to mother for Steve, don't join Jo.
- 0:58Speaker 1: You gotta use that turn out very arm. You gotta
- 1:25Speaker 1: turn to turn them out. Got to turn out to
- 1:45Speaker 1: turn turn the water of the water. Come come on,
- 1:59Speaker 1: your baby, I shall will. Good morning everybody you're listening
- 2:05Speaker 1: to the voice, Come on, dig me now, one and
- 2:08Speaker 1: only Steve Harvey, I got a radio show. Me just
- 2:13Speaker 1: trying to give God some back, just some back of
- 2:18Speaker 1: what even gave me, just a portion, you know. Just
- 2:22Speaker 1: I'm just trying, man to to show some type of
- 2:26Speaker 1: gratitude for all his blessings. I'm just trying to, man,
- 2:32Speaker 1: just just get it right sometimes, you know what I mean.
- 2:36Speaker 1: I mean, man, you just can't do what you want
- 2:38Speaker 1: to do and just live wrong all the time. Man,
- 2:40Speaker 1: you got it at one point in time, Steve, come home. Man,
- 2:44Speaker 1: come on, man, you could do better. I know you can,
- 2:47Speaker 1: you know saying, and you know what I had to do.
- 2:49Speaker 1: I had to stop saying. I'm gonna try to do better,
- 2:53Speaker 1: and I just had to say, hey, man, I'm going
- 2:55Speaker 1: to do better. You know, trying it's just to put
- 2:59Speaker 1: forth an eff and then if it don't work, well okay.
- 3:02Speaker 1: But if you make up in your mind and I'm
- 3:03Speaker 1: going to do something, then trying isn't enough. It's getting
- 3:07Speaker 1: it done is the only thing that matters. Sin. It's
- 3:10Speaker 1: the difference between doing and trying. We're gonna try to
- 3:13Speaker 1: win the game, or we're gonna go out here to
- 3:15Speaker 1: win the game. Now, trying to win the game means
- 3:18Speaker 1: that you could lose. But when you got in your
- 3:21Speaker 1: mind made up, most athletes will tell you that they
- 3:24Speaker 1: go out there with the full intent and purpose of
- 3:26Speaker 1: winning and winning. Only see they don't put the second
- 3:30Speaker 1: place finish on the cover Sports Illustrated. Second place don't
- 3:34Speaker 1: get you there. You got to win. And now take
- 3:37Speaker 1: it out of the scope of athletics, but keep it
- 3:39Speaker 1: in that type of type of analogy in life. Man,
- 3:43Speaker 1: you just want to you want to win in life,
- 3:45Speaker 1: don't you. I mean, at the end of the day,
- 3:47Speaker 1: don't you want to be on the cover of Sports
- 3:49Speaker 1: Illustrated the life. Don't you want to be recognized for
- 3:52Speaker 1: your hard work? Don't you want, you know, to be
- 3:55Speaker 1: recognized within the bonus structure down at your job. Don't
- 3:59Speaker 1: you want to have your plaque up on the wall
- 4:01Speaker 1: down at your job? I mean most people do. Some
- 4:03Speaker 1: people could care less. Some people don't care about looking
- 4:06Speaker 1: good or being their best. And that's cool. But I
- 4:08Speaker 1: ain't talking to them though. I'm talking to you. I'm
- 4:11Speaker 1: talking to those of you who want to be the
- 4:14Speaker 1: best you can be. You know, people kill me when
- 4:16Speaker 1: they're getting mad at people here and he Brown knows
- 4:20Speaker 1: and he hall up on an employee of them. All, man,
- 4:22Speaker 1: the dude doing his job to the best of his ability,
- 4:24Speaker 1: and he getting recognized for it? What they got to do?
- 4:27Speaker 1: It all that you're talking about because you ain't up there.
- 4:29Speaker 1: It's amazing, man, how people describe other people's success. He's
- 4:33Speaker 1: so lucky, lucky? Hey man, don't they kind of get
- 4:36Speaker 1: you a little bit when people call you lucky? When
- 4:39Speaker 1: let me tell you what luck really is, y'all. Luck
- 4:41Speaker 1: is when hard work bumps up into opportunity. Some people
- 4:46Speaker 1: call that luck. But hold on, let's think about this.
- 4:49Speaker 1: If you wasn't working hard an opportunity presented itself, what
- 4:53Speaker 1: would you call that? But see when you've been working hard,
- 4:57Speaker 1: an opportunity presents itself and it bumps up into each other.
- 5:00Speaker 1: Now people want to call that luck, But hold up
- 5:02Speaker 1: here go to part though to day, ain't paying no
- 5:04Speaker 1: attention to Yeah, that opportunity came by. But if you
- 5:06Speaker 1: had not been working hard and the hard work had
- 5:09Speaker 1: not ran up in the opportunity, what would you have? No, sir,
- 5:12Speaker 1: it's not luck, it's work. It is work, because as
- 5:16Speaker 1: a scripture that says, faith without works is dead. But
- 5:21Speaker 1: my mama was a Sunday school teacher. She taught me enough.
- 5:23Speaker 1: Though Now I know different between right and wrong, just
- 5:26Speaker 1: like you do. You ain't gotta you know. Itcused me
- 5:29Speaker 1: when people write a strawberry letter? Am I wrong for this?
- 5:32Speaker 1: You know? Good? Well, look at let's read your letter?
- 5:35Speaker 1: Are you wrong for this? You know? You're wrong? What
- 5:37Speaker 1: you don't need? That's to be telling, you know? But
- 5:38Speaker 1: I'm gonna do this anyway. Well e see, go ahead, though,
- 5:41Speaker 1: do what you want to do. But you know what, y'all,
- 5:44Speaker 1: here's the best advice I can give you. This is
- 5:46Speaker 1: what I really came to talk about this morning, but
- 5:49Speaker 1: I got sidetrack because I listened get out of your
- 5:54Speaker 1: own way. So many of us are blocking our own blessings.
- 5:58Speaker 1: Were just in our own way. We are in our
- 6:02Speaker 1: own way. And one of the most dangerous ways you
- 6:05Speaker 1: can get in your way is to do it your way,
- 6:09Speaker 1: to get it figured your way, and to lock in
- 6:12Speaker 1: on your way and just the way it's got to go.
- 6:15Speaker 1: Do you know how many people are blocking a blessing?
- 6:18Speaker 1: Do you know how long I blocked mine with that
- 6:21Speaker 1: mindset right there? Look, because it's the way you do it,
- 6:25Speaker 1: Do you think that makes it the right way? You
- 6:27Speaker 1: think jazz because you didn't thought on it long and hard,
- 6:29Speaker 1: and that's what you really want. Do you really think
- 6:32Speaker 1: that your way is the right way or could that
- 6:34Speaker 1: be a better way? See? Until I started listening to
- 6:37Speaker 1: God and started paying attention to his way, man, I
- 6:41Speaker 1: was spending my wheels. Man, I was out here so
- 6:44Speaker 1: determined this how I was going to do it. But
- 6:47Speaker 1: you know I had to learn how to get out
- 6:48Speaker 1: of my own way because just because I could do
- 6:51Speaker 1: it my way didn't mean it was the right way.
- 6:54Speaker 1: I had to get out of my own way. Just
- 6:59Speaker 1: get out your way, man, And now what what does
- 7:02Speaker 1: that mean? That means? See, set your goals. That means
- 7:09Speaker 1: have your dreams. That I'm saying, set your goals. Man,
- 7:14Speaker 1: I ain't saying, don't set goals. Listen to me. Set
- 7:16Speaker 1: your goals. What is it you want to happen? What
- 7:18Speaker 1: is it you'd like to have? What is it you
- 7:20Speaker 1: like to be? What are you aspire to? Set your
- 7:24Speaker 1: goals and set your dreams. Now take your goals and
- 7:28Speaker 1: your dreams to God and ask God to show you how. Man,
- 7:35Speaker 1: you can save yourself a lot of pain. Listen to
- 7:38Speaker 1: somebody who did it his way for so long. And
- 7:42Speaker 1: when I finally got out of my way, out of
- 7:44Speaker 1: my own way. When you've heard old people say, let
- 7:48Speaker 1: go and let God, you've heard them say that I didn't.
- 7:51Speaker 1: I didn't get it, but I got it. Now let
- 7:54Speaker 1: go and let God. And it's amazing little saying. Though
- 7:58Speaker 1: now you know you may not get it. It took
- 8:00Speaker 1: me a bunch of years to get it too. But
- 8:02Speaker 1: when I took my goals and my dreams and my
- 8:06Speaker 1: vision to God and I said, God, this is what
- 8:08Speaker 1: I hope for, this is what I aspired to, this
- 8:11Speaker 1: is what I want to be, this is why I
- 8:12Speaker 1: would love to get to. Then I said, help me
- 8:17Speaker 1: show me how point me in the right direction. Let
- 8:20Speaker 1: me follow your footsteps, guide me and give me a
- 8:24Speaker 1: spirit of discernment. Show me who wrong? Because I meet
- 8:27Speaker 1: people every day. Ain't up to no good with me
- 8:29Speaker 1: every single day. Oh man, Man, I can't believe I
- 8:34Speaker 1: run up into you. Man, the Lord told me something's
- 8:36Speaker 1: gonna happen to me today. Well, see, I talked to
- 8:39Speaker 1: him every day. He did not mention you to me.
- 8:42Speaker 1: He ain't said nothing to me. He didn't tell me
- 8:44Speaker 1: what was gonna happen in mind. Now, I don't mean
- 8:46Speaker 1: it can't happen because I'm open to it. So really, man,
- 8:50Speaker 1: I'm and and please know I'm listening as well as
- 8:53Speaker 1: I've ever listened before. But but get yourself together, though,
- 8:58Speaker 1: see no, your goals and your dreams, and then let
- 9:00Speaker 1: God show you how to do it. He'll do it.
- 9:03Speaker 1: You know. It's so important everybody, that you get focused,
- 9:06Speaker 1: that you aim for something, that you dream of something,
- 9:10Speaker 1: that you aspire to something. But it's the most the
- 9:13Speaker 1: best thing you can do. After you do all that, Man,
- 9:16Speaker 1: get God involved in it. Man, talk to him. I mean,
- 9:19Speaker 1: why would you not what you got to lose, You
- 9:21Speaker 1: ain't got to go down there and make no big
- 9:23Speaker 1: scene and run laps around the church and run up
- 9:26Speaker 1: there and throw yourself on the altar and scream and
- 9:28Speaker 1: flip over and throw money in the air. You ain't
- 9:30Speaker 1: got to do that. This you and God, man, This
- 9:33Speaker 1: you and God. You know you got to serve and
- 9:35Speaker 1: praise him the way you do it. You gotta let
- 9:38Speaker 1: nobody else tell you highs done. It's a personal relationship.
- 9:41Speaker 1: People kill me if you don't do it this way.
- 9:43Speaker 1: If you don't come here to this church and you
- 9:44Speaker 1: don't run around in this circle and you don't get
- 9:46Speaker 1: flipped in the air, you don't, Hey, man, you better
- 9:49Speaker 1: go have a relationship with God. See what that's about.
- 9:51Speaker 1: You understand? Nobody throw you off with all that? All right?
- 9:54Speaker 1: All right, y'all talk to him. He loved to hear
- 9:55Speaker 1: from you today. You're listening show, ladies and gentlemen. Let
- 10:03Speaker 1: me have you undivided attention. Please. This is the Steve
- 10:06Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. Make no mistake about it. This is
- 10:09Speaker 1: no other morning show. How do I know you know that?
- 10:13Speaker 1: Because you ain't tuned in nowhere else and I'm the
- 10:17Speaker 1: only ones talk man. Ain't that whatever? Your call? Let
- 10:24Speaker 1: us off for your station. That is none of my
- 10:28Speaker 1: business in particular. But I love you though, and we
- 10:32Speaker 1: all love you, and we are here to serve and
- 10:35Speaker 1: honor you, entertain you, inspire you up, if you motivate you.
- 10:40Speaker 1: And they're nine, then makes sense. But right now that
- 10:45Speaker 1: ain't what we're here to do. What we here to
- 10:48Speaker 1: do Charley Strawberry caller for Real Mississippi, Monica, Junior and
- 10:57Speaker 1: nephew Tommy. Yeah, I'm listening, Junior. Works on your mind, man, Yeah,
- 11:08Speaker 1: I just got on my mind. I have to ask
- 11:11Speaker 1: you this what you mean by everything? And then makes sense? Well,
- 11:16Speaker 1: you know, look, sometimes ignorance, foolishness and just playing o't
- 11:21Speaker 1: having a good time. It ain't always got to make sense. Yeah,
- 11:25Speaker 1: you know what I mean. Sometimes, man, you just got
- 11:27Speaker 1: to do some things just to be doing it. And
- 11:31Speaker 1: we off on this show sometimes a level of freedom
- 11:34Speaker 1: for people to sometimes put their cares and troubles down.
- 11:37Speaker 1: They're just gonna laugh a little bit. Laughing don't always
- 11:41Speaker 1: have sense. Like I told the audience at the at
- 11:43Speaker 1: Family Feud the other day, in order for you to
- 11:46Speaker 1: stay young, first you have to understand that when you laugh,
- 11:49Speaker 1: laughter releases and dolphins into your body, and dolphins make
- 11:52Speaker 1: you feel better, It makes you age less. I have
- 11:55Speaker 1: a lot of endorphins in my body because I laugh
- 11:57Speaker 1: all the time. The average person does not laugh laugh
- 12:00Speaker 1: every single day. If you think about it, the average
- 12:03Speaker 1: person does not bust out laughing every single day. And
- 12:09Speaker 1: you've got to do that if you want to live alone.
- 12:12Speaker 1: But now here's the key to laughing every day. If
- 12:15Speaker 1: you are going to laugh every day, you are going
- 12:19Speaker 1: to have to start laughing at some stuff that you
- 12:22Speaker 1: ain't supposed to. That is the only way what you
- 12:29Speaker 1: have got to start laughing at some stuff you ain't
- 12:33Speaker 1: supposed to. Yeah, that's true. Then oh yeah, what do
- 12:39Speaker 1: people say that ain't funny? Oh to them? What do
- 12:43Speaker 1: you do to that? How do you react? That's not
- 12:45Speaker 1: funny to you? Oh? That's clearly what's what you mean?
- 12:53Speaker 1: That ain't funny? Yeah, that ain't funny to you. You
- 12:58Speaker 1: got to you got to understand something. Man, You got me,
- 13:01Speaker 1: you got your game. You were a funny to me.
- 13:05Speaker 1: Worry me, you know if I wanted to be why
- 13:08Speaker 1: I got to why? It ain't funny to me? So
- 13:10Speaker 1: I was up. People followed in front of you. You're
- 13:14Speaker 1: gonna laugh, I don't. I don't know. I don't know
- 13:17Speaker 1: them people, I do not know them. You listen to me,
- 13:26Speaker 1: and if God put them in front of me and
- 13:28Speaker 1: made him fall, he wrote that joke for me. I
- 13:31Speaker 1: am I understand that. Oh lord, I'm so concerned about you.
- 13:38Speaker 1: All right, coming up in thirty two minutes after the hour,
- 13:41Speaker 1: it is Monday. You know what that means. Church complaints
- 13:44Speaker 1: on the way right after this you're listening to show.
- 13:50Speaker 1: All right, it is Monday, so you know what time
- 13:52Speaker 1: it is. Yesterday was Sunday. A lot of complaining going on.
- 13:55Speaker 1: Here is Pastor Motown and Deacon death jam with today's
- 14:02Speaker 1: little too. I mean, you're a little tick of this morning.
- 14:05Speaker 1: You getting urged. I'm sorry, I'm sorry. Let's be who
- 14:12Speaker 1: he is, she said, we will. That's right, that's right right.
- 14:19Speaker 1: I began preaching when I was seventeen years old, seventeen.
- 14:30Speaker 1: I backslid when I was eighteen to forty. Preached one
- 14:38Speaker 1: servant at seventeen, and then I fell into a hillacious life.
- 14:44Speaker 1: But I got back for a year later and here
- 14:48Speaker 1: I'm is old Globy. Now we pontificate this here thing
- 14:57Speaker 1: before it strengthenates, strengthen and I like that the people
- 15:02Speaker 1: punt to let old glory, let her begin with church
- 15:08Speaker 1: complaints and dica def jam. C'mon all right, eye pastor.
- 15:13Speaker 1: I'm Sister Marsiah and Sister Gloria and Sister Vera Collins,
- 15:23Speaker 1: who are all over seventy years. I would have decided
- 15:26Speaker 1: to start their own gospel singing group the wholy halter types.
- 15:31Speaker 1: Now they are singing with bleeding, glittering halter types. The
- 15:36Speaker 1: members are just an outrage behind this. Not to mention,
- 15:40Speaker 1: there are several deacons with glitter all over their faces.
- 15:43Speaker 1: You're gonna have to do something something about this. Here
- 15:47Speaker 1: pass is not gold. I have forewarn that I told
- 15:54Speaker 1: you that every sister band the Senior Citizens Quair because
- 16:01Speaker 1: your church was complaining about the length of the songs,
- 16:06Speaker 1: the lack of choir robes on their Sunday, and them
- 16:11Speaker 1: not knowing the words to none of their songs. Now,
- 16:16Speaker 1: how many is in this group here? It's three of them.
- 16:18Speaker 1: That's Sister mar see us as the Gloria and Sister
- 16:21Speaker 1: Vera Collings. Yeah, so we'll see. I see what didn't
- 16:25Speaker 1: happen since I banded church choir. They don't try to
- 16:29Speaker 1: be the supreme, or I see what happened? Oh you
- 16:35Speaker 1: think that? Oh, or you're trying to jump through a
- 16:39Speaker 1: church loophole. You don't want to be all right now,
- 16:44Speaker 1: you don't want to be the choir, so you're gonna
- 16:46Speaker 1: try to be a single group wives pastor wivewhere let
- 16:54Speaker 1: me make a new orderance at this church the jack
- 16:58Speaker 1: part joint or Jerusalem. The only songs that can be
- 17:02Speaker 1: sang by old people is solo, so loud, y'all. If
- 17:09Speaker 1: you're over sixty, you can't do or do it or
- 17:13Speaker 1: triple it or quadrulet. Yeah, we stopping that solo. Its
- 17:20Speaker 1: only nor hear ye hear, let it be known, so
- 17:25Speaker 1: forth all right, heads fast. They want to wish brother
- 17:29Speaker 1: Clifford Green a happy, happy, heavenly birthday. But now sister
- 17:34Speaker 1: Marylyn Wilson, uh said, why are we wishing them a
- 17:39Speaker 1: happy heavenly birthday knowing that he busted hell wide open?
- 17:43Speaker 1: Not his wife. Sister Green is upset and wants you
- 17:47Speaker 1: to put sister Wilson in her place. See na na
- 17:51Speaker 1: na na na noa. We don't know that for show now, No,
- 17:55Speaker 1: we don't know what bad We is not the judge.
- 17:59Speaker 1: God is the judge. We have no heaven or hell
- 18:04Speaker 1: to put anyone in who, nor do we have the
- 18:07Speaker 1: right to pass judgment on who going whll My fervent
- 18:14Speaker 1: hope is that he is in heaven. Because he is
- 18:19Speaker 1: in heaven, I know getting here. Well, I'm going to him.
- 18:24Speaker 1: That is my fervent prowl. That God was grading on
- 18:28Speaker 1: the curve and his ole d was a mighty good
- 18:32Speaker 1: bee good. Got a matter? Oh who that boy preaching
- 18:36Speaker 1: this mom come on now all right after we got
- 18:41Speaker 1: a serious issue that has happened over this past weekend
- 18:44Speaker 1: at the women's retreat. Sister Laura Banks said, these men
- 18:50Speaker 1: aren't stepping up and being real men. Sister Berta Jones said, well,
- 18:58Speaker 1: if they're not stepping up, why are you still pulling
- 19:01Speaker 1: your drawls down. The fight went on for two hours
- 19:06Speaker 1: and at the convention Center, and we owe sixteen thousand
- 19:09Speaker 1: dollars in damages. I'm just gonna let you Women's retreat
- 19:18Speaker 1: because the men they've got to fighting over the men
- 19:20Speaker 1: and men at the women's retreat. Then that calls for
- 19:27Speaker 1: a soul. My draws is up because you would and
- 19:38Speaker 1: step up, but they will come down you only you
- 19:46Speaker 1: woo my draws is up and they won't come down,
- 19:58Speaker 1: and I'm not pulling the down. Ain't no real man
- 20:03Speaker 1: A run on that note, we gotta get out of here.
- 20:09Speaker 1: Coming up next, Hello, Chief Love Officers. Steve Harvey in
- 20:13Speaker 1: the building ready for your love questions. Right after this,
- 20:16Speaker 1: you're listening to the Stave Harvey Morning Show coming up
- 20:20Speaker 1: at the top of the hour. And entertainment news w
- 20:23Speaker 1: NBA star Britney Griner is sentenced to nine years in
- 20:27Speaker 1: a Russian prison. The driver, Yeah yeah, and some very
- 20:32Speaker 1: very sad news. The driver of the fiery, deadly car
- 20:35Speaker 1: crash in California has been charged and our Kelly's jailhouse
- 20:39Speaker 1: account has over twenty eight thousand dollars in it. But
- 20:42Speaker 1: not for long. Right now it is time where I
- 20:46Speaker 1: ask the CLLO. We'll get into those stories in just
- 20:48Speaker 1: a few but this one is from l And, Missouri,
- 20:51Speaker 1: who writes, I'm a forty eight year old single woman
- 20:54Speaker 1: and I'm dating a man that's a security guard at
- 20:57Speaker 1: the place where my girlfriends and I used to go
- 20:59Speaker 1: to brunch. All the time, he's been asking why I
- 21:03Speaker 1: stopped coming there, and I want to be honest, but
- 21:05Speaker 1: I don't know how to tell him that I'm ashamed
- 21:07Speaker 1: of his job? Should I keep lying to him? Well,
- 21:14Speaker 1: I don't understand you're ashamed of his job. Yeah, all
- 21:20Speaker 1: you doing is there, they're having brunch. You ain't buying
- 21:22Speaker 1: the place. You know how much money you think you maker?

- 21:30Speaker 1: girls talking about her? Oh you you went a security guard,
- 21:33Speaker 1: that's your man. She don't want to hear all of that. Well,

- 23:07Speaker 1: Moving on to Clarissa in Gulfport, Clarissa Rights, I'm married
- 23:11Speaker 1: to one of the nicest men in the world. But
- 23:14Speaker 1: the other day I had to curse him out from
- 23:16Speaker 1: making a bad decision. I got home and our housekeepers
- 23:19Speaker 1: three children were in our pool. He said, there's nothing
- 23:22Speaker 1: wrong with the kids swimming here. Did I overreact or
- 23:26Speaker 1: was he wrong for inviting those children over? Yeah? You
- 23:29Speaker 1: over reacted? Yeah, yeahed you way over reacted. Yeah. I've
- 23:34Speaker 1: actually had workers not I've had workers at my house
- 23:39Speaker 1: and I let their kids swim in the pool. Yeah,
- 23:43Speaker 1: I let him come over. They barbecue. M you know,
- 23:47Speaker 1: you can't be a ball people. You know, let them
- 23:51Speaker 1: kids had the experience of being in the swimming pool
- 23:54Speaker 1: and then one day they'll be able to get their
- 23:55Speaker 1: own swimming pool. It's called exposure. Yeah, and yes, yes,
- 24:00Speaker 1: you overreacted because it's a good thing. Now, you got
- 24:04Speaker 1: some some housekeepers us, some workers at your house as
- 24:07Speaker 1: loyal right if you are the kids that take better
- 24:11Speaker 1: care of you. Yeah, you trimmed. Lady, you overreacted. Apologize
- 24:16Speaker 1: they was in the swimming pool. They wasn't in the
- 24:18Speaker 1: bed making pie. They was in the damn swimming pool. Yeah,
- 24:25Speaker 1: m all right, Yeah, she over reacted. You need to
- 24:30Speaker 1: apologize immediately to everyone. They're they're just in the pool
- 24:43Speaker 1: having fun. Yeah all right. Moving on to Laperial in Tacoma.
- 24:50Speaker 1: Lapurial says, my husband of seventeen years has had a
- 24:54Speaker 1: separate account for a long time, and I just found out.
- 24:57Speaker 1: He said I should have my own account too. Never
- 25:00Speaker 1: discussed having a stash hidden from each other. So was
- 25:03Speaker 1: this money for a side check or what? No, he
- 25:06Speaker 1: has some side money. Yeah, and you should have your
- 25:10Speaker 1: own account. I've preached this and told it before account
- 25:15Speaker 1: and told me this long time ago. A married couple,
- 25:18Speaker 1: whether both parties are working or not, should have full
- 25:22Speaker 1: separate bank account. You should have the joint account where
- 25:25Speaker 1: both checks come into and you all pay all your household,
- 25:29Speaker 1: car notes, light bills, mortgage, your rent, whatever the case
- 25:33Speaker 1: may be. To keep the foundation going, take ten percent
- 25:36Speaker 1: of your money or five percent, whatever the designated number is.
- 25:41Speaker 1: Put it in a savings account that requires two signatures
- 25:44Speaker 1: to move. Then you decide the allowance of each other.
- 25:50Speaker 1: The woman get this much, the man get this much,
- 25:53Speaker 1: or your other partner to get this much, and you
- 25:55Speaker 1: get that much, whatever the case is. And that's say money,
- 25:59Speaker 1: and that's your money. You have no say so what
- 26:02Speaker 1: they do with their money. I can't tell Marjorie what
- 26:06Speaker 1: to do with her money that's allocated for her. And
- 26:09Speaker 1: she can't say nothing to me about mine that's allocated
- 26:11Speaker 1: for me. No more hiding bags and the trunk. Bide
- 26:17Speaker 1: with your damn money, and you good and don't say anything.
- 26:22Speaker 1: And if your bag is more expensive, save two of
- 26:24Speaker 1: your allowances or two of your personal checks, and buy
- 26:28Speaker 1: your bag, right, that's right. Okay, So no, he ain't
- 26:33Speaker 1: got no side, chick. He got some side and money
- 26:36Speaker 1: because he don't want to hear your mouth every time
- 26:38Speaker 1: he want to do something. Look here real Yeah, and
- 26:43Speaker 1: you should have account? Should you should? Yeah? You should
- 26:49Speaker 1: have your own account. Yeah, that's great advice to appreciate. Yeah, absolutely,
- 26:57Speaker 1: all right. Moving on to last one, last one, Clo.
- 27:03Speaker 1: Moving moving on to Joe and Dayton. Joe says, my
- 27:08Speaker 1: wife's friend DMed me and made a comment on a
- 27:10Speaker 1: suit I was wearing. I told her thank you, and
- 27:13Speaker 1: I was going to tell my wife about it, but
- 27:15Speaker 1: it slipped my mind. A week later, my wife said
- 27:18Speaker 1: she thinks her friend likes me because she is always
- 27:20Speaker 1: bringing my name up. Should I tell my wife that
- 27:23Speaker 1: the lady slid into my DMS? What? And why not? Yeah?
- 27:32Speaker 1: Shut your mouth. He was gonna tell her, though, Steve,
- 27:37Speaker 1: he had already. He just slipped his mind, he said,
- 27:40Speaker 1: But he was gonna tell her for what though? Yeah,
- 27:43Speaker 1: it's too late. Let her know. Yeah, and then what
- 27:47Speaker 1: you think she has that she's been slipping into his dmo?
- 27:50Speaker 1: Holo holo, holo holo. Why she and yo d Yeah?
- 27:54Speaker 1: Exactly what makes her think it's okay to slide into
- 27:59Speaker 1: yo damn d M, exactly what you've been doing to
- 28:02Speaker 1: get d M. Oh see, I thought it was Jim her,
- 28:06Speaker 1: but she and Yo d M. And then you're gonna
- 28:08Speaker 1: read and why I take you this long time? Me? Yeah?
- 28:11Speaker 1: See it's like what you mean is slipped your mind.
- 28:15Speaker 1: It's just slipped my mind. Things. I got busy, we
- 28:18Speaker 1: got busy, how big busy doing? What? See you see
- 28:22Speaker 1: what I'm saying? I wish the hell out would so
- 28:25Speaker 1: as a matter of fact, I ain't seen the DM.
- 28:27Speaker 1: I delete the damn DM, and I'm gone. I don't know.
- 28:33Speaker 1: All right, coming up at the top of the hour,
- 28:35Speaker 1: we'll have some entertainment news for you right after this.
- 28:37Speaker 1: Thank you, ce. Hello, you're listening to show. W NBA
- 28:44Speaker 1: player Brittany Griner was convicted of smuggling drugs into Russia
- 28:49Speaker 1: and sentenced to nine years in jail, in a case
- 28:51Speaker 1: that has raised concerns that she's been used as a
- 28:54Speaker 1: political pawn in Russia's war against Ukraine. Griner was also
- 28:59Speaker 1: find one million rubles, which is equivalent to about sixteen
- 29:02Speaker 1: thousand dollars and some change. Prior to hearing the verdict.
- 29:07Speaker 1: Grinder apologized to the court and ask for leniency and
- 29:10Speaker 1: an emotional speech. Grinner's lawyers plan to appeal the ruling,
- 29:14Speaker 1: and they criticize the court for ignoring their evidence. They
- 29:17Speaker 1: have ten days to appeal. Yeah, all political. Yeah nine years. Yeah, yeah,
- 29:26Speaker 1: she could have gotten ten, but they gave her nine. Really,
- 29:32Speaker 1: this is horrible, Yeah, it really is bad. Yeah, the
- 29:37Speaker 1: US says they're working. That was a white lady that
- 29:40Speaker 1: was stopped in Russia who had way more than Brittany Grinder.
- 29:46Speaker 1: She got sixteen months, she got probation. I wish, I
- 29:51Speaker 1: wish I could I just read it. Oh yeah, she
- 29:55Speaker 1: got probation and a fine something like that. In Russia.
- 29:58Speaker 1: She had way more war then Brittany Ground I'm talking about.
- 30:03Speaker 1: It wasn't even close. I wish I had kept it
- 30:07Speaker 1: and saved it when I read it. But Russia's racist,
- 30:12Speaker 1: Russia ain't got nothing for black people. And then Russia
- 30:16Speaker 1: and Russia frowns on gay yeah yeah, and then sodas
- 30:21Speaker 1: America with a hypocritical ass. So you know, and she's black,
- 30:27Speaker 1: but she was over there playing basketball in the Russian
- 30:31Speaker 1: in the Russian League, and had been over that many times.
- 30:35Speaker 1: Before it was trip number one. What are her Russian teammates?
- 30:46Speaker 1: Some women call No, no, this is a communist country. Outrage, right,
- 30:55Speaker 1: this is a country that poising people. People just disappear. No, no,
- 31:05Speaker 1: the citizens ain't nobody saying nothing. That she has a
- 31:09Speaker 1: great relationship with a lot of the guards and inmates,
- 31:11Speaker 1: and they keep telling that everything's gonna be okay right
- 31:14Speaker 1: before the sentence and now she's got to go to
- 31:17Speaker 1: a prison colony. Yeah, she didn't even get credit for
- 31:20Speaker 1: time served. Nothing. Yeah, this is They say they're working.
- 31:27Speaker 1: They say they're working until they give up the arms dealer,
- 31:32Speaker 1: and they're probably gonna ask for more. This is not
- 31:35Speaker 1: going to happen. This is a political ploy. This is
- 31:38Speaker 1: to get that arms dealer back out, the one that
- 31:40Speaker 1: Trump hadn't been on Twitter talking about, Oh yeah, talking
- 31:44Speaker 1: about why will we give her up for him? Why
- 31:49Speaker 1: don't we send them you, mister Trump, how about that?
- 31:52Speaker 1: Why don't we send them you were friends? Yeah? All right,
- 31:59Speaker 1: Well we're moving on and we're keeping this case. Britney Grinder,
- 32:04Speaker 1: all of this in our prayers. Quicken and speedy return home.
- 32:08Speaker 1: More sad news to report. Yeah, yeah, this story is
- 32:14Speaker 1: really sad. Right here. Our prayers are going out to
- 32:17Speaker 1: the families of the victims of the fiery, deadly crash
- 32:21Speaker 1: that happened in Windsor Hills, California, that claimed the lives
- 32:25Speaker 1: of six people, including a pregnant woman and her unborn child.
- 32:29Speaker 1: This happened shortly after one thirty pm on last Thursday,
- 32:32Speaker 1: when of Mercedes Benz coop blew through a red light
- 32:36Speaker 1: at a high speed and crashed into several cars near
- 32:39Speaker 1: a gas station at the intersection of Slawson and LaBrea Avenues.
- 32:43Speaker 1: We all know this area very well. The driver, Nicole
- 32:47Speaker 1: Lorraine Hinton, is a travel nurse from Houston, Texas. She's
- 32:52Speaker 1: been charged with manslaughter and gross negligence. She will be
- 32:56Speaker 1: taken into custody when she is released from the hospital.
- 33:00Speaker 1: And just to see this, it was just oh, this
- 33:04Speaker 1: was awful. This was yeah, yeah, you know, this is horrible,
- 33:07Speaker 1: just really painful to watch and just tragic. It's just tragic.
- 33:12Speaker 1: The finally prosecutors as the federal court to seize over
- 33:16Speaker 1: twenty eight thousand dollars from r. Kelly's prison inmate account,
- 33:20Speaker 1: since he has one hundred and forty thousand dollars and
- 33:23Speaker 1: unpaid court ordered fines. In a letter obtained by the
- 33:26Speaker 1: government from the Bureau of Prisons, Kelly has accumulated substantial
- 33:31Speaker 1: funds and his inmate trust account, which is used to
- 33:34Speaker 1: purchase food and other necessities from the prison commissary. Kelly
- 33:38Speaker 1: had over twenty eight thousand dollars, like I said, in
- 33:41Speaker 1: his account as of August third, and the Bureau of
- 33:44Speaker 1: Prisons restrained Kelly's funds at the government's request and left
- 33:48Speaker 1: him with five hundred dollars. He'll have to make it
- 33:52Speaker 1: off that because he had, you know, unpaid court ordered bills.
- 33:56Speaker 1: He had to pay him those fines. He had to
- 33:58Speaker 1: pay that. Okay, yeah, okay, all right, well, yeah, you
- 34:06Speaker 1: be good at kill. But here's what's gonna happen, though.
- 34:10Speaker 1: All we're gonna do is get somebody else put it
- 34:14Speaker 1: on funds and cut a deal with him. He's gonna
- 34:18Speaker 1: make friends with somebody and he's gonna give him ten
- 34:21Speaker 1: twenty thirty and he's gonna get money sent that. That's
- 34:24Speaker 1: how as somebody gonna do and rightfully so they're gonna
- 34:28Speaker 1: beat that system. He ain't got to worried about that.
- 34:30Speaker 1: Oh well, he can get that money to the victims.
- 34:32Speaker 1: Man yeah, yeah, wow. So yeah, I know, I know
- 34:41Speaker 1: a lot of stuff going on, a lot of stuff
- 34:42Speaker 1: going on in the world. I mean, just that story
- 34:46Speaker 1: before with the Windsor Hills, California, tragic accident, just hard.
- 34:51Speaker 1: We love to wear about. We really got time? Where
- 34:53Speaker 1: about our hill? Oh boom right, Okay, no, I'll give
- 35:03Speaker 1: it damn if you got seven hundred thousand and there,
- 35:05Speaker 1: yess in jail. Yeah, there's so many luxuries you can
- 35:08Speaker 1: buy over there. Yeah, yeah, all right, We're moving on.
- 35:16Speaker 1: Coming up at twenty minutes after the hour, Mike Tyson
- 35:19Speaker 1: is mad over an unauthorized show about his life. Such
- 35:23Speaker 1: premiere later this month. We'll talk about it right after this.
- 35:27Speaker 1: You're listening to the morning show. Hulu is slated to
- 35:32Speaker 1: debut Mike Now. This is a limited series that follows
- 35:36Speaker 1: legendary boxer Mike Tyson from his early childhood to his
- 35:40Speaker 1: days in prison and so on. The series is set
- 35:43Speaker 1: to premiere in August twenty fifth, but over the weekend,
- 35:46Speaker 1: Mike Tyson lashed out at Hulu for allegedly stealing his story.
- 35:51Speaker 1: Tyson ranted on social media that he did not participate
- 35:54Speaker 1: nor give his consent for Hulu to produce the series,
- 35:58Speaker 1: and that Hulu proceeded without our bring him a dollar.
- 36:01Speaker 1: Tyson accused Hulu of creating a slave master takeover story
- 36:05Speaker 1: of his life. Tyson seemed to get angrier with each
- 36:08Speaker 1: message he posted. For example, uh, he tweeted, Hey Hulu,
- 36:13Speaker 1: I'm not an inn word that you can sell on
- 36:16Speaker 1: the auction block. Okay? Uh hashtag slavery is over hashtag blank.
- 36:21Speaker 1: Hulu absolutely ludicrot what they did to me. If he
- 36:25Speaker 1: could just prove ip intellectual property, they're gonna have to pay.
- 36:31Speaker 1: It just depends on where they got the footage from.
- 36:33Speaker 1: I'm gonna kick Hulu's the ass is what I'm gonna do, Steve.
- 36:36Speaker 1: I'm gonna I'm gonna freaking kick Hulus out. I mean it, man,
- 36:39Speaker 1: they had no no business doing what they didn't follow
- 36:43Speaker 1: me around, Mike, Mike, you're gonna respect everything is goat,
- 36:49Speaker 1: but you're gonna you're gonna have a find out exactly
- 36:52Speaker 1: who Hulu Hulu is. And I don't know if you
- 36:55Speaker 1: walk around with people. I asked, as God, Hulu, I'm
- 37:00Speaker 1: you walk around people because that include men who lose
- 37:06Speaker 1: the ass. I'm gonna what Netflix that everybody anybody else. No, no, no, no, no, no,
- 37:10Speaker 1: listen everybody. That go ahead, Mike. You have to identify
- 37:17Speaker 1: people who are responsible for the decisions at Hulu. Don't
- 37:22Speaker 1: just go down to the Hulu complex and start warming
- 37:25Speaker 1: ass from the guard on up, because somebody's not gonna
- 37:28Speaker 1: let you on the elevator. Mike, I got it with
- 37:30Speaker 1: somebody's ass, those steeds. Somebody got to take that take.
- 37:33Speaker 1: Somebody got to take it here for this one, right here.
- 37:35Speaker 1: Everything mightn't understand what you're saying, but that's probably not
- 37:38Speaker 1: gonna be the case, sir. Did anybody know who Hulu is?
- 37:42Speaker 1: Who is Hulu at that work? Yeah? If you can't,
- 37:49Speaker 1: you anybody hula hooping? Mike? Is you gonna fight? I
- 37:52Speaker 1: don't wha. I'm with Mike on this one. Now, I'm
- 37:59Speaker 1: with But you don't matter, Mike. Mike has really yeah
- 38:04Speaker 1: yeah yeah, And I'm mad at Hulu too for this,
- 38:11Speaker 1: especially if they're making money and Mike Tyson isn't. He
- 38:14Speaker 1: didn't authorize this. How dare you? How dare you? Everybody yet? Hulu?
- 38:19Speaker 1: If you're listening, hear me real clear, I'm a when
- 38:23Speaker 1: I find out say that alright, this show deep was safe. Yeah,
- 38:38Speaker 1: all right, look coming out like recap teams in Best
- 38:45Speaker 1: Best Weekend. Find out all about that that's coming up
- 38:48Speaker 1: right after this. You're listening to show, all right, So
- 38:54Speaker 1: how is everybody's weekend? We haven't talked about that in
- 38:57Speaker 1: a minute. I want to see Bullet Train with Brad Pitt.
- 39:01Speaker 1: Don't ask me anything about the movie because all I
- 39:03Speaker 1: did was staring Brad Pitt because I love him. Some
- 39:08Speaker 1: other people were in it. I heard Sandra Bullock, Bulleck
- 39:11Speaker 1: was in it. Um Channing Tatum did a cameo. I
- 39:16Speaker 1: think Ryan Reynolds, but mainly Brad Pitt, Brad Pitt, whatever,
- 39:27Speaker 1: it's Brad, we're talking about Brad Pitt. Whatever. Yes, Yes,
- 39:39Speaker 1: I went to see Kevin Hart. Kevin The show was hilarious,
- 39:44Speaker 1: Kevin Hard Plastic cup Boys. I was there with my
- 39:47Speaker 1: bestie along with Tommy, Tommy's wife and her bestie. Shout
- 39:51Speaker 1: out to Jackie and Jackie lemonade. Yeah, the after cocktails
- 39:59Speaker 1: with Matthew. Now we was doing No No and Matthew
- 40:10Speaker 1: play what up Steve Dog. Jackie said the show was good.
- 40:15Speaker 1: She having funny man cocktails, popcorn and Holland. So was
- 40:29Speaker 1: I all right? Steve, How was your How was the
- 40:34Speaker 1: invest past? That absolutely fabulous? The first year they did
- 40:38Speaker 1: it was last year they had thirty five hundred people. Wow.
- 40:43Speaker 1: And after I did my interview with them, I fell
- 40:50Speaker 1: in love with these young guys because I felt like
- 40:52Speaker 1: they went onto something I didn't know that you could get. Oh,
- 40:59Speaker 1: you know, we play so much money for entertainment. You
- 41:02Speaker 1: see our favorite groups, our favorite artist. It was just
- 41:05Speaker 1: a real pleasure to see thirteen thousand people paid to
- 41:14Speaker 1: go to invest Fest. That's ten thousand more than last year,
- 41:18Speaker 1: completely sold out, standing room only, couldn't let any more
- 41:22Speaker 1: people in the venue. Your boy spoke at three and
- 41:27Speaker 1: I just poured. I poured everything I could into the
- 41:31Speaker 1: It's really interesting, man, because they asked some really interesting
- 41:35Speaker 1: questions because a big part of the focus was on
- 41:40Speaker 1: my ability to recover from mistakes and how do you
- 41:45Speaker 1: handle the mistakes and find the strength to get up.
- 41:49Speaker 1: And that was a great teaching moment that I was
- 41:52Speaker 1: able to share. And they brought up two incidents of
- 41:55Speaker 1: two fifteen miss universe man, but it gave me a
- 42:04Speaker 1: chance to explain it. And then they bought him to
- 42:07Speaker 1: Trump visit. Oh, okay, okay, He gave me a chance
- 42:12Speaker 1: to explain that which no one has ever taken the
- 42:15Speaker 1: time to really ask me. It was a great moment,
- 42:19Speaker 1: and the audience ended up cheering because I told him
- 42:22Speaker 1: I was upset with him because I wake up every
- 42:25Speaker 1: day and walk out my house representing black folks. When
- 42:30Speaker 1: I walk out to do, I'm a black man first.
- 42:33Speaker 1: Everything I do is for the edification and uplifting my people,
- 42:37Speaker 1: to try to be an example in case some young
- 42:40Speaker 1: person said, well I want to be like that, I
- 42:42Speaker 1: try to be like that in spite of the mistakes,
- 42:45Speaker 1: and I was able to explain to him who. I
- 42:48Speaker 1: even went to see him before he got sworn in,
- 42:51Speaker 1: and I accomplished the mission I met with being causing
- 42:55Speaker 1: gave him the only initiative HOOD had doing that four
- 42:58Speaker 1: year reign of presidency, which was to create the Vision Centers.
- 43:02Speaker 1: They took my entire idea, changed your name to Envision Centers,
- 43:08Speaker 1: opened up. Three of them asked me to come stand
- 43:11Speaker 1: with them to take photo ops, but I wouldn't do
- 43:14Speaker 1: it because then he was president and I've already taken
- 43:18Speaker 1: enough backlash from it. And so when they understood that,
- 43:23Speaker 1: I went up there to get housing for black people.
- 43:25Speaker 1: Now for Steve. Steve got a house and it was
- 43:28Speaker 1: a great moment, man. And really to finally, I appreciate
- 43:33Speaker 1: the people for sitting there listening platform. Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah,

- 53:31Speaker 1: hold on tight. We got it for you here. It
- 53:33Speaker 1: is Strawberry Letters. Thank you, nephew. Subject his past won't
- 53:37Speaker 1: let him last. Dear Stephen Shirley, I'm dating a man
- 53:41Speaker 1: that is so tied to his past that it won't
- 53:43Speaker 1: let him last. We're not going to make it because
- 53:46Speaker 1: he's always talking to his ex girlfriends and his ex wife.
- 53:51Speaker 1: He has a child in his life that's not his,
- 53:54Speaker 1: but he told me that the boy will always be
- 53:56Speaker 1: a part of his life. His ex girlfriend was pregnant
- 53:59Speaker 1: when they started dating, and he raised the child for
- 54:02Speaker 1: three years. Then they broke up and he got married.
- 54:05Speaker 1: The ex wife let the boy come over and spend
- 54:07Speaker 1: time at the house. Now that I'm married, I don't
- 54:11Speaker 1: have time for the boy because his mother is not
- 54:14Speaker 1: nice to me. She calls my boyfriend and expects him
- 54:18Speaker 1: to talk to her until she gets home, and if
- 54:20Speaker 1: she's out, she drops her location to him or shares
- 54:23Speaker 1: her uber information with him, like he's her protector. He
- 54:27Speaker 1: says he is nice to her because she is a
- 54:29Speaker 1: single woman and he wants to be sure she's safe.
- 54:33Speaker 1: I feel like he is out of line and she
- 54:35Speaker 1: is too. Then there's his ex wife that he's had
- 54:38Speaker 1: sex with in the past six months, right before we met.
- 54:42Speaker 1: He is honest about everything, and I can't take it.
- 54:45Speaker 1: On one hand, I appreciate his honesty, but then I
- 54:49Speaker 1: can't handle it once I know what he's done. I'm
- 54:52Speaker 1: not friends with any of my exes and they can't
- 54:55Speaker 1: call me. That's just me. My boyfriend doesn't understand why
- 54:59Speaker 1: I can't be friends with my exes, and he thinks
- 55:02Speaker 1: it's a character flaw. We can't get on the same
- 55:05Speaker 1: page about anything when it comes to his past and mine.
- 55:08Speaker 1: I thought I was being respectful by cutting off my exes,
- 55:12Speaker 1: and he said that's not normal. It's a crazy conflict.
- 55:15Speaker 1: We have, and it seems like we are compatible in
- 55:18Speaker 1: every way, except that I don't want to fall in
- 55:20Speaker 1: love with him and have to share him with these
- 55:23Speaker 1: women from his past. I'm thinking of leaving him. Is
- 55:26Speaker 1: this a wise decision? Or not? All right? Is anybody
- 55:31Speaker 1: else confused? I'm so confused. Are you dating this man?
- 55:36Speaker 1: Are you married to this man? Is he is he
- 55:39Speaker 1: your husband? Is he your boyfriend? Are you married and
- 55:42Speaker 1: writing us about your boyfriend? I'm very confused right now,
- 55:45Speaker 1: And yes, leaving him would be a wise decision. You're
- 55:49Speaker 1: unhappy your man is still talking to his exes. He's
- 55:52Speaker 1: not gonna stop. If he was that into you, he
- 55:55Speaker 1: would respect your wishes about not communicating with these women.
- 55:59Speaker 1: None of them affect you. He doesn't, for sure, and
- 56:01Speaker 1: you know that. But the girl that's calling him all
- 56:04Speaker 1: the time, dropping her location and all that, she has
- 56:06Speaker 1: no regard for what you and him have going on.
- 56:09Speaker 1: He probably didn't even tell her. I don't know. I
- 56:12Speaker 1: don't know what's going on in this letter. I have
- 56:14Speaker 1: no idea. You say you don't want to fall in
- 56:16Speaker 1: love with him, Well, don't fall in love with him
- 56:19Speaker 1: because he doesn't love you, and you better hope your
- 56:21Speaker 1: husband doesn't find out, Steve, what is going on? I'm
- 56:27Speaker 1: so damned confused. She married? Does she have a boyfriend?
- 56:33Speaker 1: Let me just read the letter back and maybe you
- 56:35Speaker 1: all can help me and Shirley out his past, won't
- 56:39Speaker 1: lady did Stephen? Shirley, I'm dating a man that's so
- 56:42Speaker 1: tied to his past. It won't let him last. We
- 56:46Speaker 1: are not going to make it because he's always talking
- 56:48Speaker 1: to his ex girlfriends and his ex wife. He's got
- 56:51Speaker 1: a child in his life that's not his, but he
- 56:54Speaker 1: told me that the boy will always be a part
- 56:56Speaker 1: of his life. His ex girlfriend was pregnant when they
- 56:59Speaker 1: started dating, and he raised the child for three years.
- 57:02Speaker 1: Let's stop right here for a minute. What actual confused?
- 57:08Speaker 1: You know he always talked to you because ex girlfriends
- 57:11Speaker 1: and the next wife. I ain't got no conversation with
- 57:13Speaker 1: none of them. They access for a reason. A lot
- 57:17Speaker 1: of people can't move forward because they because because they
- 57:20Speaker 1: keep living in the past. Here the part that got me.
- 57:23Speaker 1: His ex girlfriend was pregnant when they started dating, and
- 57:25Speaker 1: he raised Excuse me, say what you want to say
- 57:32Speaker 1: about me? I ain't that good a man. I meet you,
- 57:36Speaker 1: you pregnant, were dating what and he raises the baby. No, no, no,
- 57:42Speaker 1: we're dating and congratulations y'all that's not mine. Y'all at
- 57:49Speaker 1: the gate. No no, no, no, no no, I'm not
- 57:51Speaker 1: gonna say that. Man, y'all look so happy together. Well
- 57:55Speaker 1: we just got together. That's somebody else, dab I ain't.
- 57:59Speaker 1: I ain't there. Excuse me. If anybody had a man
- 58:03Speaker 1: that did that congratulation, you found the real ral one.
- 58:06Speaker 1: I ain't that ral call me, call me regular and
- 58:12Speaker 1: most me and I know. Anyway, Then they broke up
- 58:17Speaker 1: and he got married. So this guy got married. The
- 58:22Speaker 1: ex wife let the boy come over and spend time
- 58:25Speaker 1: at the house. So I'm assuming that him and the
- 58:28Speaker 1: wife that he married got divorced, but then as an
- 58:33Speaker 1: ex they still let him come over. Then the letter
- 58:38Speaker 1: takes another dog ass turn and it says, now that
- 58:42Speaker 1: I'm married, I don't have time for the boy because
- 58:46Speaker 1: his mother is not nice to me. Who got married?
- 58:50Speaker 1: Who got married? Did you marry the dude that had
- 58:54Speaker 1: the ex wife? And now you ain't got time for
- 58:57Speaker 1: the boy? Okay, I don't know. He called my boyfriend
- 59:01Speaker 1: and expect what burn friend? Yeah? I thought you got married? Right?
- 59:07Speaker 1: She calls my boyfriend and expects him to talk to
- 59:10Speaker 1: her to she get home if she's out, and then
- 59:12Speaker 1: she drops her location to share her information with him.
- 59:16Speaker 1: It's too much, This let us too much. I'm pissed
- 59:21Speaker 1: off at your writing skills. You don't know how to
- 59:23Speaker 1: tell us story. This ignorant asked let us. We can't
- 59:29Speaker 1: help you because you're not telling her. Is she married
- 59:33Speaker 1: with a boyfriend. I don't know who she did. I'm
- 59:38Speaker 1: so confused. We can't help you married. We don't know
- 59:44Speaker 1: who your bardfriend is. Who is the husband? I'm really
- 59:47Speaker 1: and all right, I'm starting out to care about this
- 59:49Speaker 1: little bar No damn more, because we care nothing about
- 59:56Speaker 1: three minutes after the hour we got, part two of
- 59:58Speaker 1: the Strawberry Letter has passed. Gonna let him last. We'll
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: get back into it right after this. You're listening show,
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: all right, Come on, Steve, let's recap today's Strawberry Letter
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: if we can, and try to finish up your response.
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: This is confusing. First of all, this woman says she
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: ain't gonna make it because her man is always talking
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: to his ex girlfriends and his ex wife. Then he
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: got a child that's not he is because when he
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: met this girl, she was pregnant. He started dating the
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: while she was pregnant. Who this guy is? I don't
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: know that. Men who can do that, those are special men. Congratulations.
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: I tipped my hat to you. I ain't that special.
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: You're gonna have to have had this baby. You're not
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: caring the things we're going nowhere. This is not about you.
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: I'm not feeding all these people, not right now, all this,
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: all this, all this, I'm eating for two to who.
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: I don't know who? Who? Who? Who the two is?
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: I don't know where it comes from. It. I damn
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: show didn't help make them, so I'm nothing to help.
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: Just right here, stop now. When they live ass human beings,
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: I could deal with that, but I ain't int the
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: MBO business fertilization. No, no, he don't tell me, Steve,
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: this racket ass so confusion. I got every right to
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: sound like I'm sounding frustrate. Then she talk about they
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: broke up and he got married, and the ex wife
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: let the boy come over and spend time at the house.
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: Now that I'm married. Who who now? She says, Now
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: I'm married, I don't have time for the boy because
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: his mother not nice to me. Okay, somewhere in there,
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: I think the lady and the letter got married. She
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: calls my boyfriend. Yeah, but now she calls my boyfriend,
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: so I'm thinking this boyfriend is on the side. Yeah,
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: it's us, and expects him to talk to her since
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: she get home and she's out and she drops on
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: location him or shares her uber information with him, like
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: he's her protective. Well, he's married him and she's got
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: a for a friend. He says he's nice to her
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: because she's a single woman and she wants he wants
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: to be sure she's safe. I feel like he's out
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: of line and she is too. Then as his ex
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: wife that he had sex with in the past six
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: months right before we met. Oh wait a minute, so
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: you're not mad to this dude. He had sex with
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: his ex wife six months right before you met. Now
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: watch this. He is honest about everything, and I can't
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: take it. I knew you were gonna I knew you
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: were gonna hone in on that line. I knew you
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: were did y'all hear this? Yes, he is honest about everything,
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: But first of all, she said, he's honest about everything,
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: and I can't take it. On the other hand, I
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: appreciate his honesty, but then I can't handle it once
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: I know what he's doing. That doesn't make your case
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: and your or your point more all of this story.
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: He is there. We can know everything you've done because
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: they can't handle They said it in the movie tom
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: Me probably know the name of the movie. You can't
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: handle the truth when he said that shrines when he
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: said it was about women. When I from that line,
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: you can't. We can't get on the same page about
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: anything when it comes to his past. In mind, I
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: thought he's being respectful by cutting off. I thought I
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: was being respectful by cutting off my axes. And he said,
- 1:03:36Speaker 1: it's not normal. It's a crazy conflict that we have.
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: And it seems like we're compatible in every way except
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: that y'all ain't compatible at all. I don't want to
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: fall in love with him. You ain't fall in love
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: with who who is nothing to do with love, and
- 1:03:53Speaker 1: it ain't. You can't fall in love with him. You
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: got to fall in love with him and everybody he
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: got because he don't cut nobody in your packet and packet,
- 1:04:02Speaker 1: and they have to fall in love with him. And
- 1:04:06Speaker 1: I have to share him with these women from his patent.
- 1:04:09Speaker 1: I'm thinking of leaving him. Is this a wise decision? Now?
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: I'm surprised. Why ain't you gonna leave? Yeah? Why are
- 1:04:15Speaker 1: you still here? Why did you write up? So let
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: me tell you what me and Sherley don't care. Well,
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: let me just speaks for myself because Sherley at a
- 1:04:22Speaker 1: high level of Christian what today. Let's start with this, right,
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: I don't give him damn about this too. Nothing start
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: about any of his ex girl friends. I don't care
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: about his ex wife. I don't really care for the
- 1:04:41Speaker 1: fact that he met a woman pregnant and started date.
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: I don't care about that. I don't care that he
- 1:04:48Speaker 1: raised the child for three years and they broke up
- 1:04:52Speaker 1: when he got married. I don't care numb about him
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: sleeping with his ex month ex wife six months for y'all, man,
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: I don't care if I'm really sure if your asses
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: is married or not. I don't care if this dude
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: is your boyfriend on the side. And the big news
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: is I'm really starting not to care about this child.
- 1:05:12Speaker 1: And this child ain't had nothing to do with the baby.
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: Damn about this baby, right, this baby was born into it.
- 1:05:19Speaker 1: Blee the baby out of it. Yeah, don't put the
- 1:05:21Speaker 1: baby in it. He was born into the confusion. The
- 1:05:24Speaker 1: baby is not in it. He's in the letter. And
- 1:05:28Speaker 1: they're tired of the baby because somebody got married in
- 1:05:31Speaker 1: this letter. We don't know who it is. And they
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: tired of the baby because now theyin't married, So now
- 1:05:36Speaker 1: everybody tied the baby. Why I can't be tired of baby.
- 1:05:41Speaker 1: I'm tired of it. And you read the letters. They're
- 1:05:45Speaker 1: married and she's got a boyfriend on the side. This
- 1:05:50Speaker 1: islet disaster. Listen to me much. Let me say something
- 1:05:54Speaker 1: about if your life is this jacked up, don't write
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: us because we can't help and learn how to write,
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: read and comprehend. You do nobody know what you're talking about.
- 1:06:05Speaker 1: This low level lass prison letter. You'ren't sitting me. You
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: just learned how to write last summer. If you've been
- 1:06:12Speaker 1: in literature whole damn life can stay. Literally, it ain't
- 1:06:15Speaker 1: time to write into a national radio show and you
- 1:06:18Speaker 1: got the writing scale of a four year old. We don't. Next,
- 1:06:25Speaker 1: you're listening to morning show. It is time before sports

- 1:08:22Speaker 1: gonna come out of afc uh huh. I can't thank
- 1:08:27Speaker 1: the Rams is gonna repeat? How about Cincinnati they got

- 1:08:45Speaker 1: A low ball is back, thank you. They ain't back yet, Junior. Yeah.
- 1:08:53Speaker 1: Coming up, coming up more of the Steve Harvey Morning
- 1:08:56Speaker 1: Show at the top of the hour. Right after this
- 1:08:58Speaker 1: you're listening Stave Show. A fifty five year old married
- 1:09:05Speaker 1: man went in for a minor surgery and he was
- 1:09:08Speaker 1: given anesthesia. When he got out of surgery, his wife
- 1:09:11Speaker 1: waited by his side, faithfully and patiently for him to
- 1:09:14Speaker 1: wake up. And when he woke up, he was very groggy,
- 1:09:18Speaker 1: but he seemed very happy to see his wife. He
- 1:09:21Speaker 1: looked up at her and he said, I love you, Janice. Well,
- 1:09:26Speaker 1: her name was Sandy. Okay, I ain't got no more surgery,
- 1:09:36Speaker 1: but I've had the story. Don't go under. Her sister's
- 1:09:44Speaker 1: name is Janice. So his wife left him there, did
- 1:09:47Speaker 1: not go back until it was time to take him home.
- 1:09:50Speaker 1: Sandy wants to know what is going on between her
- 1:09:53Speaker 1: husband and her sister Janice. Man. I'll tell you I've
- 1:09:59Speaker 1: had most surgeries anybody on this show. I take duct
- 1:10:02Speaker 1: tape when I'm going to the mergency room, but I'm
- 1:10:04Speaker 1: wanting search. I duct take my whole mouth because I
- 1:10:06Speaker 1: know what did anything. I don't have to make up
- 1:10:09Speaker 1: and say nothing. I put this duct tape on your mouth. Tam,
- 1:10:17Speaker 1: you have me groggy feelings. I love you, Janie. God dog,
- 1:10:25Speaker 1: what Sandy, dude? Though? Exactly? You laugh? He didn't need
- 1:10:31Speaker 1: another surgeon. Yeah, so Steve, you're not getting any more surgery.
- 1:10:37Speaker 1: Oh no, I'm good. I do the surgery, but I
- 1:10:40Speaker 1: don't want to anesthesia nonna take it, gonna cut y'all.
- 1:10:46Speaker 1: I gotta give me a stick. You can't be conscious.
- 1:10:49Speaker 1: Let me bite down on this stick like they do
- 1:10:51Speaker 1: in the Western yet some whiskey on it and give
- 1:10:57Speaker 1: me a ball some water. Yeah, I'm not talking thought that.
- 1:11:04Speaker 1: What was he thinking? I mean, it could have been
- 1:11:07Speaker 1: the meds. It could have been the mad. That doesn't
- 1:11:10Speaker 1: mean anything that's going on between them, and you do
- 1:11:14Speaker 1: love her sister, you know, family. Yeah, but his wife
- 1:11:26Speaker 1: was mad. She left him and did not go back
- 1:11:28Speaker 1: until it was time to take him home. At least
- 1:11:30Speaker 1: she did come back and get him though. But now
- 1:11:34Speaker 1: things when you come out of surgery or saying something
- 1:11:37Speaker 1: crazy like that, Yeah, I've been told. I said, it's
- 1:11:40Speaker 1: real crazy. Yeah, like what see what they telling you?
- 1:11:43Speaker 1: It was a white people that just left the room.
- 1:11:52Speaker 1: These two black people came in and said, your husband
- 1:11:54Speaker 1: talked like this all time. What is going on with
- 1:12:01Speaker 1: Sandy and her husband? What is she asking him about
- 1:12:04Speaker 1: about Janice? What is she saying to him at the hospital? Yeah,
- 1:12:12Speaker 1: what is she saying? What is who the wife? What
- 1:12:17Speaker 1: is the wife saying to the husband about calling out
- 1:12:19Speaker 1: her sister's name? Yeah, he grogging? What Karl says, you
- 1:12:24Speaker 1: need to hear is what she said to her sister? Yeah?
- 1:12:27Speaker 1: What is she? Okay? Yeah, okay, what does she say? Hm? Yes,
- 1:12:33Speaker 1: left Charles down at the hospital. Now why is Charles
- 1:12:40Speaker 1: on their influence? The first thing he says, he loved Janice. Hmm,
- 1:12:45Speaker 1: ain't you Janice? Yes, I'm your sister, Janice. Cool now
- 1:12:50Speaker 1: just double checking, and then starts everybody loved Janice, everybody
- 1:12:55Speaker 1: love Raymond, everybody, but everybody hates Sandy. Yeah, everybody hates Chris. Wow. Yeah,
- 1:13:05Speaker 1: that's tough. Yeah, that is tough. That is tough. I
- 1:13:09Speaker 1: mean he was married though, to Sandy. I think you
- 1:13:13Speaker 1: should get a pass on what you say coming out
- 1:13:15Speaker 1: of I think so too. He was under I think
- 1:13:18Speaker 1: you need to not be in my dog on room
- 1:13:20Speaker 1: until I get myself to help room mama's hours. But
- 1:13:26Speaker 1: don't you want to when you wake up, when they
- 1:13:29Speaker 1: wake up? Don't you want to be there? Yeah? Yeah,
- 1:13:32Speaker 1: I worked up when I first come out of anesthesia.
- 1:13:36Speaker 1: I probably need to be alone. Coming up in twenty minutes,
- 1:13:42Speaker 1: coming up in twenty minutes after the hour, we'll have

- 1:17:30Speaker 1: can tell you for three days, but you said you

- 1:18:17Speaker 1: It's on the same day every day, I ain't even

- 1:18:36Speaker 1: All right, coming up, it is our last break of
- 1:18:38Speaker 1: the day, and of course at forty nine minutes after,
- 1:18:40Speaker 1: we'll get some closing remarks from the one out on
- 1:18:42Speaker 1: least Steve Harvey. Right after this. You're listening Steve Morning Show.
- 1:18:48Speaker 1: All right, guys, here it is our last break of
- 1:18:50Speaker 1: the day on this Monday. It's been a good day.
- 1:18:53Speaker 1: Thank you, Thank you. Everyone always listens every day. I
- 1:18:56Speaker 1: love sure take a celibacy and break it. Just taught
- 1:19:00Speaker 1: me that I got to go to work like this
- 1:19:06Speaker 1: money you mean, I can't break it? Stop wisdom, you know.
- 1:19:24Speaker 1: I guess I'm gonna start with a subject I touched
- 1:19:27Speaker 1: on over the weekend at invest Fest. What explains today
- 1:19:31Speaker 1: If you've been hearing my voice sounding a little winded
- 1:19:35Speaker 1: as you do now, Uh, it's because I took my
- 1:19:41Speaker 1: own advice over the weekend. We were talking at invest Fest,
- 1:19:47Speaker 1: and part of my speech was and I tried to
- 1:19:49Speaker 1: implore upon people, uh, the mindset that you have to
- 1:19:54Speaker 1: be to be successful, I don't care what you do.
- 1:19:57Speaker 1: You can be an Instagram model, you can go to
- 1:20:00Speaker 1: school for engineering, to be a souldier, you can climb
- 1:20:04Speaker 1: the corporate letter. It doesn't matter to me what you
- 1:20:06Speaker 1: choose to do. You got to have the right minds.
- 1:20:12Speaker 1: Being successful as a mindset you'all above anything else. It's
- 1:20:18Speaker 1: how you mentally handle the steps to becoming successful, because
- 1:20:24Speaker 1: it's hard, and many of the steps in the road
- 1:20:27Speaker 1: to success is froth with failure, disappointment, and you got
- 1:20:33Speaker 1: to get your mind right. But do you know what
- 1:20:36Speaker 1: I found that the hardest thing in becoming successful starting.
- 1:20:44Speaker 1: The average person never starts. The starting point has stopped
- 1:20:51Speaker 1: more people than any other point. Now, why you won't
- 1:20:55Speaker 1: start could be fear, lack of understanding, but most of
- 1:21:00Speaker 1: us fear a fear failure, fear that you don't know,
- 1:21:05Speaker 1: you don't have what it takes. So the number one
- 1:21:09Speaker 1: thing about becoming successful is you have to start. And
- 1:21:15Speaker 1: the reason I sound so winded today is because I'm
- 1:21:18Speaker 1: actually on an exercise bike. Because you know, I have
- 1:21:22Speaker 1: to multitask, because I don't have enough time in my
- 1:21:25Speaker 1: day to do everything I have to do. I just don't.
- 1:21:29Speaker 1: I've never finished all my task in a day, and
- 1:21:34Speaker 1: because it was always something I need to do because
- 1:21:38Speaker 1: I have new goals and aspirations. But anyway, and telling
- 1:21:42Speaker 1: everybody to start, you know, I work out, but a
- 1:21:45Speaker 1: part of my problem is I don't have enough time
- 1:21:49Speaker 1: to lift weights and do cardial So I got a
- 1:21:52Speaker 1: trainer that does a combination of both. But if I
- 1:21:55Speaker 1: really want to get leaned, you know, you gotta have
- 1:21:58Speaker 1: a calorie deficit. Right You gotta burn more than you
- 1:22:02Speaker 1: take in, and the best way to burn it is
- 1:22:06Speaker 1: on an empty stomach. Because the only few you have
- 1:22:09Speaker 1: to use this fact. So I decided while I'm on
- 1:22:14Speaker 1: the radio, starting right now today is to ride my
- 1:22:20Speaker 1: Pelleton bike while I'm on the ad. I just started, y'all.
- 1:22:26Speaker 1: In order to make any attempt at becoming successful, any
- 1:22:31Speaker 1: shot of it coming true, you gotta start. Do you
- 1:22:35Speaker 1: know how many people I try to convince to start
- 1:22:37Speaker 1: who sit there in their life over and over and
- 1:22:39Speaker 1: over and over and over and never start anything. Insteady
- 1:22:42Speaker 1: complaining about where they are where you ain't starting nothing.
- 1:22:45Speaker 1: Come on, y'all, now is the time and stop trying
- 1:22:48Speaker 1: to line all your ducks up in the row. Stop
- 1:22:51Speaker 1: trying to get everything in the order. Start. Just make
- 1:22:55Speaker 1: their initial step. Steve, I don't have all the money
- 1:22:59Speaker 1: you got sun start the idea, Steve, I ain't got
- 1:23:03Speaker 1: a plan that's gonna get me to the tape. Start
- 1:23:06Speaker 1: the plan evolved. Most planers have to change anyway. I've
- 1:23:10Speaker 1: never I've never ever made a plan and it went
- 1:23:13Speaker 1: all the way through, just like I said, unless it
- 1:23:16Speaker 1: was a short term plan. So the plan was to
- 1:23:20Speaker 1: start today. Guess what mission accomplished. I started today. It
- 1:23:27Speaker 1: gives you a sense of gratification, It gives you a
- 1:23:30Speaker 1: small measure of success, inch by inch, anythings as such.
- 1:23:36Speaker 1: Just start, y'all, start your project, start your mission, and
- 1:23:42Speaker 1: then make a commitment to yourself that every single day,
- 1:23:46Speaker 1: I'm going to do something towards the goal. I'm going
- 1:23:50Speaker 1: to do something today that moves me a little bit
- 1:23:53Speaker 1: closer to the goal. Do something. But start stops sitting
- 1:24:00Speaker 1: around complaining about this and that, how this is and
- 1:24:04Speaker 1: how that is. Why don't you start? Why don't you
- 1:24:08Speaker 1: just start? Man, Why don't you put forth a gallant
- 1:24:12Speaker 1: effort and then realize something. It's gonna take everything you got.
- 1:24:19Speaker 1: And I told him this, it's gonna take everything you got,
- 1:24:23Speaker 1: I say to my sons all the time. Man, we
- 1:24:25Speaker 1: get into it. Dad, I've done all I could do,
- 1:24:28Speaker 1: I said, okay, but the assignment is due. We got
- 1:24:32Speaker 1: to turn it in Monday at two o'clock. Here, Dad,
- 1:24:34Speaker 1: but I did all. I did everything I could do.
- 1:24:37Speaker 1: I say, I know, but we have to be finished
- 1:24:39Speaker 1: by Monday at two o'clock. Dad, Are you listening to me?
- 1:24:43Speaker 1: I've done everything I can think of and everything I
- 1:24:46Speaker 1: can I say, yeah, but we have to turn it
- 1:24:49Speaker 1: in Monday at two o'clock. Dad, What do you want
- 1:24:52Speaker 1: me to do? Boy? Do some mode, Do some mode.
- 1:24:56Speaker 1: I got time for you to send it here telling
- 1:24:57Speaker 1: me what you don't have. These people listen looking for
- 1:25:00Speaker 1: this is not going to accept this excuse that we
- 1:25:02Speaker 1: don't have it Monday at two o'clock. We have to
- 1:25:04Speaker 1: complete the task. Now, get the task completed. If you've
- 1:25:08Speaker 1: done all you can do, do some mode. That's the
- 1:25:10Speaker 1: mindset you got to have to be successful. But you
- 1:25:12Speaker 1: can't develop that mind successful. You can't develop that mind
- 1:25:16Speaker 1: of that mindset. If you don't start, you gotta start
- 1:25:20Speaker 1: you off. Today's no better time than them was closer.
