- 0:15Speaker 1: million buck things in the stubs. Not good it Steve
- 0:24Speaker 1: together for st Please, I don't join Jo. You gotta
- 1:01Speaker 1: turn you're going to do? You are? You gotta turn
- 1:41Speaker 1: to turn them out? You got to turn them out
- 1:45Speaker 1: to turn the water to the water. Go, come come
- 1:58Speaker 1: on your thing. I shall well come on and everybody
- 2:04Speaker 1: you are listening to the voice, or come on now
- 2:07Speaker 1: dig me or one it only Steve Harvey got a
- 2:11Speaker 1: radio show. Thank God for it all the time. Too. Well,
- 2:15Speaker 1: here we go today. I want to share something with
- 2:18Speaker 1: you that I'll help you because it's helped me. You know.
- 2:23Speaker 1: I was telling the story once that this magazine called
- 2:29Speaker 1: Rob Reporting, that that was the statue I used to
- 2:33Speaker 1: see for years. I started buying Rob Reporting magazines years ago.
- 2:39Speaker 1: So I just wanted to see what a fluent people did,
- 2:42Speaker 1: you know, just wanted to see what people with means did,
- 2:46Speaker 1: what type of investments they did, what they bought, you know,
- 2:50Speaker 1: what they traveled to. Rob Reports just like, oh it's
- 2:53Speaker 1: like a big boy toy magazine. You can see what
- 2:57Speaker 1: cars is out there. I didn't have money for none
- 2:59Speaker 1: of it. Just I was dreaming, though, you know, I
- 3:01Speaker 1: just wanted to see. And there's a statue inside this
- 3:07Speaker 1: magazine of this man who was coming out of this
- 3:11Speaker 1: bronze rock. And he was completely bronze, and he was muscular,
- 3:16Speaker 1: and you know, he didn't look nothing like me, but
- 3:19Speaker 1: he was a man coming up out of a rock.
- 3:21Speaker 1: And he had a huge hammer and a chisel in
- 3:24Speaker 1: his hand. And as his body from the waist up
- 3:28Speaker 1: was coming out of this huge piece of stone, you
- 3:30Speaker 1: could see where it was him who had been chiseling
- 3:33Speaker 1: and forming himself. So the name of the statue was
- 3:36Speaker 1: self made man. And for years man, I said, Man,
- 3:41Speaker 1: I'm gonna get a big house one day, and I'm
- 3:42Speaker 1: gonna put that statue in the backyard in the corner.
- 3:45Speaker 1: That's gonna be my little spot where I go chill,
- 3:49Speaker 1: because I'm a self made man. Well, after years of
- 3:53Speaker 1: working at becoming somebody and having reached a degree of success,
- 4:03Speaker 1: I would have nothing to do with that statue. There's
- 4:07Speaker 1: nothing about that statue that appeals to me anymore, because
- 4:11Speaker 1: on my journey and in my quest to become what
- 4:14Speaker 1: I thought would be this self made man why I
- 4:18Speaker 1: could put this statue and had a statue in the
- 4:21Speaker 1: corner be kind of cold symbolizing it. I had made it.
- 4:24Speaker 1: I realized on my journey there's no such thing as
- 4:28Speaker 1: a self made man. That we all need help, and
- 4:31Speaker 1: that God places people in our paths along the way
- 4:37Speaker 1: that benefit us oftentimes. And it's the most unlikely person oftentimes,
- 4:42Speaker 1: and it's the most unlikely way that He presents these
- 4:46Speaker 1: people in front of you is crazy. How he does it, man.
- 4:49Speaker 1: And so this is a statue now that I look
- 4:52Speaker 1: at and I go, I see what the creator was saying.
- 4:55Speaker 1: And that's cool, but not not for me, because I
- 5:00Speaker 1: needed help. And I've learned a lot of things like
- 5:03Speaker 1: this along the way. And the part I wanted to
- 5:07Speaker 1: share with you all about this is you've got to develop.
- 5:12Speaker 1: You've got to develop a sense of purpose. You have
- 5:15Speaker 1: to develop a sense of purpose. That's different. See, your
- 5:20Speaker 1: purpose is created for you by God, because when He
- 5:28Speaker 1: created you as an individual from whatever two parents you
- 5:32Speaker 1: may have, that's not important here. When he created you,
- 5:36Speaker 1: he had something in mind for you, and it was
- 5:40Speaker 1: a purpose. God has not created a single soul to
- 5:43Speaker 1: become a criminal. God has never created a single soul
- 5:48Speaker 1: to be a drug dealer. This came about through some
- 5:51Speaker 1: decisions we made as sinners, and we stayed in that place.
- 5:58Speaker 1: But see what he created us. He has a wonderful
- 6:02Speaker 1: idea for us. But God gives us human beings this
- 6:05Speaker 1: thing called choice, and we have the power to decide.
- 6:08Speaker 1: So you can decide if you're going to adhere to
- 6:11Speaker 1: the purpose that God created you and made you for,
- 6:14Speaker 1: or you can go ahead and make some choices on
- 6:17Speaker 1: your own. So like, if God wanted to give your
- 6:20Speaker 1: life and give it to come to you and give
- 6:22Speaker 1: you life more abundantly, and that's his promise if you
- 6:25Speaker 1: come to him, if you choose him, then cool. But
- 6:29Speaker 1: if you say, well this ain't moving along fast enough,
- 6:32Speaker 1: I'm gonna get my own life of abundance, I'm gonna
- 6:34Speaker 1: start slinging. Well, guess what. Now you've made a decision.
- 6:40Speaker 1: And see God's decisions and choices. The one thing I
- 6:43Speaker 1: learned about him, God's decisions, choices, his voice, it has
- 6:47Speaker 1: no sin in it. Ain't it amazing how many people
- 6:50Speaker 1: and came up to you and say, the Lord wanted
- 6:52Speaker 1: me to do this to you, and I'm doing it.
- 6:54Speaker 1: That God is punishing you, and I'm doing this to
- 6:56Speaker 1: you because God gonna see that you get your day.
- 6:59Speaker 1: Who is this person? Who is this person that God
- 7:04Speaker 1: all of a sudden gave this authority and power to God?
- 7:06Speaker 1: I didn't get at the nobody, Man, nobody, this person
- 7:10Speaker 1: don't had a right to hold you to your past,
- 7:13Speaker 1: the right to make you pay. So who makes them
- 7:17Speaker 1: pay when they make mistakes? Because they all make them.
- 7:20Speaker 1: So when I say you have to have a sense
- 7:22Speaker 1: of you have to develop a strong sense of purpose.
- 7:25Speaker 1: That means you have to strongly get in touch with
- 7:28Speaker 1: your creator to find out what the purpose you were
- 7:30Speaker 1: created for. See, it's two things that I had to
- 7:34Speaker 1: learn along the way. My career was what I was
- 7:38Speaker 1: paid for. My calling is what I was made for. See,
- 7:44Speaker 1: it's two different things, folks. It took me a long
- 7:47Speaker 1: time to learn it. Some people think that they calling
- 7:51Speaker 1: is to be a performer. Well, that's what you paid for,
- 7:55Speaker 1: and a big part of your life is your performance
- 7:57Speaker 1: is tied directly to your gift what you made for. Though,
- 8:02Speaker 1: what you made for is to bring about some significant
- 8:05Speaker 1: change in another human being's lives because we are all
- 8:09Speaker 1: linked together in this chain. That's what you are here
- 8:12Speaker 1: for everybody has a purpose to do something wonderful, meaningful,
- 8:18Speaker 1: or impactful for another person. You think the guy that
- 8:22Speaker 1: invented the airplane was merely inventing the airplane so he
- 8:26Speaker 1: could fly. No, his purpose was to become an inventor,
- 8:31Speaker 1: to come up with this invention so he could fly
- 8:34Speaker 1: and we all fly. See. Sometimes God will make you
- 8:37Speaker 1: successful so you can become successful, so you can turn
- 8:40Speaker 1: around and teach other people how to become successful. God
- 8:44Speaker 1: save people, so you can turn around it tell other
- 8:47Speaker 1: people how wonderful it is to be saved. You see
- 8:49Speaker 1: how this thing works. That's what we have to do
- 8:53Speaker 1: as people. And it's nothing that we have to go
- 8:55Speaker 1: and discover. We have to go and develop it. But
- 8:58Speaker 1: if you haven't discovered your purpose, it's simply because here's it.
- 9:02Speaker 1: If you haven't discovered your purpose is simply because you
- 9:07Speaker 1: have not contacted the creator and maker of your soul
- 9:13Speaker 1: to ask and find out why you were created. It's
- 9:20Speaker 1: as simple as that. If you buy a Toyota, there's
- 9:26Speaker 1: an owner's manual on the inside that will tell you
- 9:29Speaker 1: everything you know how to best operate your toyota, how
- 9:34Speaker 1: to make it work, how what to do they got
- 9:37Speaker 1: a troubleshooting section. Your faith is the same thing as
- 9:42Speaker 1: an owner's manual in your car. Open up that bulk man.
- 9:47Speaker 1: Find out how to jumpstart your life, how to troubleshoot
- 9:50Speaker 1: it and get on with your life, and find out
- 9:52Speaker 1: your purpose and develop a strong sense of purpose. All right, Okay,
- 9:57Speaker 1: you're listening to show, Ladies and gentlemen, it is upon
- 10:03Speaker 1: us to Steve Harvey Morning Show. I'm talking a little
- 10:07Speaker 1: bit softer this morning, not at my normal volume, which
- 10:10Speaker 1: would be about like this hill. But I decided I
- 10:13Speaker 1: had to turn it back down because we have some
- 10:16Speaker 1: people on this show, one person in particular, who finds
- 10:21Speaker 1: it to be too loud. That damn Shirley, Yes you're
- 10:25Speaker 1: loud today. I'm sorry, but I am the morning man
- 10:30Speaker 1: and you are the Morning Show. Get with it, do it?
- 10:34Speaker 1: Ain'tybody trying to hear all that. Ladies and gentlemen, Steve
- 10:37Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show, Charley Strap, excuse me, Violet Pharrell Mississippi,
- 10:44Speaker 1: Monica Junior bar and a legend nephew Timmy Junior, was
- 10:47Speaker 1: on your mind, you know, man, let's just something ask
- 10:52Speaker 1: this unc man. I really enjoyed that interview. Deal with
- 10:54Speaker 1: Stacy Aria of yesterday. Man, you was outstanding with the interview.
- 10:57Speaker 1: First off, man, what did you learn by Stacy yesterday?
- 11:00Speaker 1: Are What do you learn about her? I don't know
- 11:03Speaker 1: that I learned it well. I think I did discover
- 11:07Speaker 1: how much she really cares. I think I learned how
- 11:11Speaker 1: much of a difference she is from Kemp. I found
- 11:17Speaker 1: out that he has control of billions of dollars that
- 11:22Speaker 1: he doesn't have to get to say so for anybody,
- 11:25Speaker 1: and he won't direct the money to areas and places
- 11:30Speaker 1: that help us at all, because he's never done without.
- 11:35Speaker 1: And he could do it easily. He could have directed
- 11:38Speaker 1: the money to Whale Star. That would have kept this
- 11:42Speaker 1: trauma hospital open here in Atlanta, But because they had
- 11:47Speaker 1: one hundred and fifteen thousand people come in who weren't
- 11:51Speaker 1: insured and they don't have the Medicare coverage to service
- 11:55Speaker 1: that many people without making any money, and he doesn't care,
- 11:58Speaker 1: and he don't care. But all he got to do
- 12:01Speaker 1: is release the funds and boom, it could stay open.
- 12:04Speaker 1: But it's not in his community. It's not in what
- 12:07Speaker 1: he considers his constituous community. If you're not in a
- 12:12Speaker 1: red district, he don't care about you. And that's why
- 12:16Speaker 1: we have got to get out and vote for Stacey
- 12:19Speaker 1: Abams in Georgia. Man, And we cannot play with this.
- 12:22Speaker 1: Early voting starts October seventeen, seventeen. Let's get it down early.
- 12:29Speaker 1: I'm gonna be on it, sir. We're not playing with y'all.
- 12:34Speaker 1: I'm gonna be on it. It's not a drill. This
- 12:37Speaker 1: is not a drill. That's it. That's it. That's what
- 12:42Speaker 1: I learned. Anything else you want to ask me, Junior?
- 12:44Speaker 1: I just thought that was great, man. I thought she
- 12:46Speaker 1: really is smart. You know, you sometimes you see what
- 12:48Speaker 1: people aren't you realize, you tube, you ain't small to
- 12:50Speaker 1: be sitting in the room with them. Because she knew numbers,
- 12:52Speaker 1: in facts, I knew I didn't need to be on
- 12:53Speaker 1: his own with her right now. She knew way too
- 12:57Speaker 1: much information, you know, I felt, Junior, I felt the
- 13:01Speaker 1: exact same way about being on yourself. Why is his ass?
- 13:13Speaker 1: I know, I said, I can't. I ain't got a
- 13:15Speaker 1: little incent it since to be sitting here. I can't
- 13:18Speaker 1: be sitting here. She know too much, she facts, numbers
- 13:20Speaker 1: and dates. Brilliant. She's really brilliant, brilliant, Junior, Do you
- 13:27Speaker 1: know exactly how much money you have, Yes, sir, Yes, sir,
- 13:31Speaker 1: Ladies and gentlemen, we'll be right back for more to
- 13:33Speaker 1: Steve Harvy Mourning Show. What's coming next, Shirley, run how
- 13:39Speaker 1: much money? Two minutes after? Yeah, you're listening Steve Harvey
- 13:44Speaker 1: Morning Show. All right, it is time now for the
- 13:47Speaker 1: nephew to run that prank back what you got for us? Now,
- 13:51Speaker 1: I'm gonna run a little something something, Shirley. This right
- 13:53Speaker 1: here is conference call. Conference call. You ain't had a
- 14:00Speaker 1: conference call until you had one with the nephew. Okay,

- 16:07Speaker 1: What are you guys talking about? We're asking you what's

- 17:48Speaker 1: am I going to come and get my things? But
- 17:51Speaker 1: this is ridiculous. This is how you're gonna let us know? Dude,

- 17:58Speaker 1: If you only need a lawyer, I have someone contact.
- 18:00Speaker 1: We can talk. But honestly, sherman, this is this is,
- 18:05Speaker 1: this is unaccessible. Let's not do the whole lawyer thing, guys. Okay,
- 18:09Speaker 1: let's not do that, all right now. People get let
- 18:11Speaker 1: go from companies. People get let go all the time,
- 18:14Speaker 1: and you guys know this. Let's go on a conference
- 18:17Speaker 1: call with other people. What are you? This is ridiculous.
- 18:20Speaker 1: You're giving a personal business. Yes, yes, that's true. You're
- 18:23Speaker 1: giving personal business to another. Uh, it's Exactually it's not
- 18:27Speaker 1: a whole. Yeah, you cannot be doing this. Yeah, email
- 18:29Speaker 1: me that lawyer's number for sure. Yes, I guess you
- 18:33Speaker 1: want to, David, thank you. I didn't. I didn't try
- 18:36Speaker 1: to for you guys to learn it this way. All right,
- 18:38Speaker 1: I'm okay, let's just say I'm not good at the
- 18:41Speaker 1: conference button. I don't know how to put anybody. You're
- 18:45Speaker 1: not do it is this is not a good message.
- 18:48Speaker 1: It's not it's not appropriate professional messaging. In fact, this
- 18:51Speaker 1: is I'm mortified. I cannot believe this. I put into
- 18:55Speaker 1: my life, this company. This is decided your best employees.
- 19:00Speaker 1: So it is it is. It is absolutely right. It
- 19:02Speaker 1: is illegal. This is illegal. Yep, yep, I will wait,
- 19:05Speaker 1: wait on what do you mean you're recording it? What
- 19:10Speaker 1: are you? What are you recording it for? What? Yes?
- 19:16Speaker 1: Tell me not recording David, Listen, I don't consent on
- 19:19Speaker 1: being recorded. I want that known now, Okay, okay, can
- 19:26Speaker 1: I can I ask you guys something do you guys?

- 19:32Speaker 1: you don't have to answer this. Barry fired too. How
- 19:34Speaker 1: are you gonna tell him? Let me tell you what's
- 19:37Speaker 1: going on. Barry told me to call you. This is

- 20:22Speaker 1: We're wow. Okay, okay, I'm good. I'm good. Now good, y'all.
- 20:29Speaker 1: Gotta tell me this. What is the baddest radio show

- 21:13Speaker 1: by Fat Joe. Four Seasons Hotels is launching a luxury
- 21:17Speaker 1: cruise with a ninety six hundred square foot presidential suite,
- 21:22Speaker 1: and d Wade. Dwayne Wade has said no more hate
- 21:25Speaker 1: on his daughter's ig page, but now it is time
- 21:29Speaker 1: for ask the clo All right, Steve, here we go.
- 21:32Speaker 1: Yolanda and Texas Arcana says, I'm a new homeowner and
- 21:36Speaker 1: my boyfriend is trying his best to convince me to
- 21:39Speaker 1: let him move in. He's seven years older than me,
- 21:43Speaker 1: so I expect him to get on my level or
- 21:46Speaker 1: get gone. He wastes money on material things and homeownership
- 21:50Speaker 1: was not a big deal to them. To him, how
- 21:52Speaker 1: can he be older than me but so immature? Well,
- 21:56Speaker 1: I mean it's a known fact that women mature quick
- 21:59Speaker 1: at in man that's a fact. Yeah, But I want
- 22:03Speaker 1: to I want to know how old she is and
- 22:06Speaker 1: then what's the seven years and whether's that put him?
- 22:10Speaker 1: If you have concerns about a man, that's trying to
- 22:14Speaker 1: move in so adamantly. Well, there should be some requirements
- 22:19Speaker 1: that come with that. You know, I'm okay, you know,
- 22:22Speaker 1: but here I would you can move in, but you're
- 22:24Speaker 1: gonna have to provide this, this, and this if he's
- 22:27Speaker 1: not willing to provide the things you want or need,
- 22:29Speaker 1: and we can stop all this moving in stuff. Move
- 22:32Speaker 1: in for what? Yeah? For what? So he can get
- 22:35Speaker 1: know we got a house. Now he gonna brag about that.
- 22:38Speaker 1: Why would you marry an irresponsible man? You're saying he's irresponsible?
- 22:43Speaker 1: You want to marry an irresponsible person, so you want
- 22:45Speaker 1: to carry him the rest of your life? Man, Get
- 22:48Speaker 1: out of here. Yeah, all right, I'm moving on to
- 22:53Speaker 1: Ali and one thing to stand by your man, but
- 22:56Speaker 1: to stand up for him, man, damn all right? Moving
- 23:01Speaker 1: on to Ali and Tampa. Ali says, my husband's style
- 23:05Speaker 1: is stuck back in the eighties and he still wears
- 23:08Speaker 1: his oversized blazers with a T shirt. He's so frugal
- 23:11Speaker 1: that I can't get him to update his wardrobe at all.
- 23:14Speaker 1: I bought him a new sports coach for Easter and
- 23:16Speaker 1: he said it was too tight across his back. How
- 23:19Speaker 1: can I persuade him to update his wardrobe? Got that
- 23:22Speaker 1: big back? How can I persuade him to update his
- 23:25Speaker 1: wardrobe a little bit? Just a little bit. I don't
- 23:28Speaker 1: really know what to tell, you know. Man has to
- 23:30Speaker 1: want to change. People have to want to change. You
- 23:35Speaker 1: tried to buy him something new and oh god, you
- 23:37Speaker 1: look good in that, but that didn't work. This too
- 23:39Speaker 1: tight cross my back. I need my roon for my back.
- 23:43Speaker 1: You're gonna lose, you know. So it really has to
- 23:48Speaker 1: be a guy. You have to put it on for
- 23:51Speaker 1: him and then compliment him moment. That's the only way
- 23:53Speaker 1: it works. I don't If he don't want to change,
- 23:55Speaker 1: I can't help, you know. And I suck in the
- 23:58Speaker 1: eighties forever. There's a lot of women stuck in but
- 24:02Speaker 1: but this is a man. It's like it's a lot
- 24:05Speaker 1: of dude stuck. It's still dude, still wearing square toe shoe. Stop, yeah,
- 24:10Speaker 1: embraced it. I'm married to a fashion easter. It's kind
- 24:15Speaker 1: of hard. I'm standing over and stand over the next
- 24:17Speaker 1: looking like a food. So if you weren't married to Marjorie,
- 24:20Speaker 1: you'd still be hell yeah, I still have all that.
- 24:23Speaker 1: You were looking like a pig. Be Captain Urban had
- 24:38Speaker 1: a big hats on and everything. I was so happy
- 24:40Speaker 1: to be Captain Urban that you changed for a woman.
- 24:43Speaker 1: You changed from Marjorie. So so he's when a man
- 24:47Speaker 1: will change, is what you're saying. Yeah, that's funny, I
- 24:53Speaker 1: know you would. Yeah. I never won all them dayne
- 24:57Speaker 1: a lot of money else and all the square toe
- 24:59Speaker 1: alegant the shoes you had. Oh wow, all right, I
- 25:03Speaker 1: changed shoes. But I ain't see nothing wrong. But every
- 25:10Speaker 1: now and then I'll be flipping through the channel and
- 25:12Speaker 1: passed by the game Game Show Network. They had one
- 25:17Speaker 1: of them early years of family feud. Yeah, yeah, I'll
- 25:21Speaker 1: be shamed. I try to hear him, click over him,
- 25:26Speaker 1: hoping nobody watching this, all right? Moving on to Carolyn,
- 25:30Speaker 1: Carolyn writes, Um, I'm a sixty two year old widow
- 25:33Speaker 1: and I allowed my son to come live with me.
- 25:36Speaker 1: Everything was fine until he started dating a woman that
- 25:39Speaker 1: has no self respect. She spends the night at my
- 25:42Speaker 1: house with my son, and I personally could not lay
- 25:45Speaker 1: up in another lady's house. My son sees nothing wrong
- 25:48Speaker 1: with it. Am I being old fashioned? No, it's your house,
- 25:53Speaker 1: it's your rule. Period. Yeah, yeah, I mean that's old
- 26:00Speaker 1: ash steal the style at your house. You know, my
- 26:04Speaker 1: kids tell me all dad, that's old school. Yeah, old schools.
- 26:08Speaker 1: Still it's steel, it's current school. Yeah yeah, that's how
- 26:12Speaker 1: I do it at my house. Right man? Why are
- 26:16Speaker 1: you listening to that music? Because I love it sometimes
- 26:20Speaker 1: let them play what they want to play. But you
- 26:21Speaker 1: know I have my head since home. But if I
- 26:23Speaker 1: don't want to wear my head since that day, y'all
- 26:25Speaker 1: got to cut this off. Okay, baby, you lifting weights
- 26:32Speaker 1: to line Richard, Ye will find a way, Kenny. Yeah,
- 26:42Speaker 1: all right. So she's not being old fashioned as her
- 26:45Speaker 1: house like you say her rules. Okay, all right. Last one, Steve,
- 26:50Speaker 1: this is from Iris and Flint. Iris says, ten years ago,
- 26:54Speaker 1: my husband and my bestie had sex for revenge. I
- 26:58Speaker 1: slept with her husband and we got married five years ago.
- 27:03Speaker 1: Now my ex husband is back in my life and
- 27:05Speaker 1: he apologized for how things ended. Did I trust him
- 27:09Speaker 1: or stay with my new hubby? What? What? What? That's
- 27:14Speaker 1: a lot going on right now, everybody. We ain't getting
- 27:17Speaker 1: in that when your husband with your best friends ten
- 27:25Speaker 1: years ago. Ten years ago, to get back at hub,
- 27:28Speaker 1: you slept with your best friends husband and y'all gotten
- 27:32Speaker 1: married five years ago. Now your husband is ex husband
- 27:37Speaker 1: is back in your life, said even sorry for how
- 27:40Speaker 1: things went. Should I get back with him or stay
- 27:43Speaker 1: with my new husband? I know you know what I
- 27:47Speaker 1: don't know? These is just these are just little mind
- 27:50Speaker 1: ass decisions to you, Lily. Do I want waffle cone
- 27:58Speaker 1: or sugar cone? When it's the coming paper? What you
- 28:06Speaker 1: packing up groceries down at the stope? You want paper plastics?
- 28:10Speaker 1: They we're doing that. Guy, ain't number? You want wings?
- 28:13Speaker 1: You what you want drummans or flat brief boxers? And
- 28:18Speaker 1: you want regular poker? You won't die? Coker is hilarious. Yeah,
- 28:25Speaker 1: you know these decisions you're making, it's too damn easy.
- 28:28Speaker 1: I don't give a damn what you do. You know
- 28:30Speaker 1: what I think you want to do. I think y'all
- 28:31Speaker 1: just flip a corn here as you stay with your
- 28:36Speaker 1: man's tails, you go with him. What's going about in
- 28:40Speaker 1: the world? All you play the game? I've never played
- 28:44Speaker 1: rock paper cis rock papers? You know. I told somebody
- 28:48Speaker 1: I've never played that. They didn't bring it. I don't
- 28:50Speaker 1: even know how to play. I don't know what it is.
- 28:54Speaker 1: I don't even know how to do rock paper sis.
- 28:56Speaker 1: I don't even know what it is yeah, and nobody
- 28:59Speaker 1: came Yeah. I got an argument with it employee because
- 29:04Speaker 1: I told him. He said, mister Harv, you know how

- 40:42Speaker 1: October thirty first, and we're just wondering if you plan
- 40:45Speaker 1: making a costume or you know, gonna have care. That's
- 40:48Speaker 1: a pagan holiday. That's a pagan holiday. Yes, so you're
- 40:54Speaker 1: not participating. Ain't no ghost and goblins? Brag of ghost

- 42:03Speaker 1: blood on them hood, you thought it was a Confederate flame.
- 42:07Speaker 1: They thought it wasn't Confederate climber was it whooping the
- 42:11Speaker 1: ass the way Simon would jump on the clearing He

- 49:17Speaker 1: I must ring calls about eight nine thousand dollars. That's
- 49:20Speaker 1: a nice ring fee. The breath calls more than the
- 49:23Speaker 1: damn ring. You're a cheaper man, man, you man, I mean,
- 49:26Speaker 1: I just about the ring you tell me about. Look, dude,

- 53:56Speaker 1: it is uperry letter. Thank you, nephew sub No more children, please,
- 54:02Speaker 1: Dear Stephen Shirley. I've been dating a very handsome and
- 54:06Speaker 1: physically fit man for two years and we've reached a
- 54:09Speaker 1: roadblock in our relationship. He's never been married and he
- 54:13Speaker 1: doesn't have any children. When we met, he was glad
- 54:17Speaker 1: I had children because he didn't want any. He loves
- 54:20Speaker 1: my children and treats them well, so that made me
- 54:23Speaker 1: love him more. I had a child when I was
- 54:26Speaker 1: sixteen years old and another when I was seventeen. I
- 54:29Speaker 1: got married when I was twenty one and had three
- 54:31Speaker 1: children from that marriage. That marriage ended after my husband
- 54:35Speaker 1: cheated on me. I got remarried when I was thirty three,
- 54:38Speaker 1: and I had two children from that marriage. We didn't
- 54:42Speaker 1: say we didn't stay married long because he was an alcoholic.
- 54:45Speaker 1: I did a darn good job raising all of my
- 54:48Speaker 1: children by myself with minimal child support. Now all I
- 54:51Speaker 1: want is to enjoy life and get marriage right. This time.
- 54:55Speaker 1: I had hoped that I met my soul mate, but
- 54:58Speaker 1: I am starting to question because he told me that
- 55:01Speaker 1: he wants a son and a daughter by me. I
- 55:05Speaker 1: do not want to throw away two years of dating
- 55:08Speaker 1: over this issue and having kids with him. There's no
- 55:12Speaker 1: getting through to him. I am afraid to tell him
- 55:15Speaker 1: it's a definite no for me because I may lose
- 55:18Speaker 1: him forever. I had a big dinner at my house
- 55:20Speaker 1: and I invited all of my children and hopes that
- 55:23Speaker 1: he would change his mind. I am also a grandmother
- 55:26Speaker 1: of three, so that is an additional responsibility. I am
- 55:30Speaker 1: tired of raising children period. I've considered getting a tubal
- 55:35Speaker 1: ligation to make sure I will not get pregnant by him.
- 55:38Speaker 1: What would be selfish of me to continue dating this
- 55:40Speaker 1: man knowing that I have no plans to have children
- 55:43Speaker 1: with him? Well, what did you say when he said
- 55:46Speaker 1: he wanted more children? Did you tell him right then
- 55:49Speaker 1: that you didn't want anymore? Or are you, you know,
- 55:53Speaker 1: stretching it out because you're afraid you might lose him
- 55:56Speaker 1: if you tell him the answer? Will it be selfish
- 55:59Speaker 1: of you to continue dating him? Yeah? It'll be selfish
- 56:02Speaker 1: if you don't tell him the truth. But it's not
- 56:04Speaker 1: selfish of you not to want any more kids. You
- 56:07Speaker 1: already have seven and three grandkids. I mean, you said
- 56:11Speaker 1: it yourself. You're done, seven kids, three grandkids, and you
- 56:16Speaker 1: have the right to say no at this point because
- 56:18Speaker 1: it's your body. And you said you want to settle down,
- 56:20Speaker 1: enjoy life and all that. And initially this guy said
- 56:24Speaker 1: he didn't want any children. You've been having children since
- 56:28Speaker 1: you were sixteen. But you already know this and it's okay.
- 56:33Speaker 1: Your issue is going to be deciding what to do
- 56:35Speaker 1: about your very handsome and physically fit man that now
- 56:39Speaker 1: wants to have kids by you. That's why it's good
- 56:42Speaker 1: to check in when you're in these relationships, see if
- 56:44Speaker 1: your feelings have changed. He's not having it. He wants kids,
- 56:48Speaker 1: he wants to a boy and a girl. What are
- 56:50Speaker 1: you gonna do? I mean, you got to tell him
- 56:52Speaker 1: the truth. You gotta let him know. And if you
- 56:54Speaker 1: lose him, that's the risk you're taking. That's it. Steve
- 57:00Speaker 1: wrong person to ask this question too, the subject no
- 57:06Speaker 1: more children please. I can't tell you how many times
- 57:09Speaker 1: I said that. I said it yesterday as recently as
- 57:18Speaker 1: yesterday and yesterday, and I can't even have them all
- 57:20Speaker 1: kids don't even want them kids. I don't even care.
- 57:23Speaker 1: I really, I really want some more grandkids because I
- 57:26Speaker 1: need these boys to have some boys so I can
- 57:29Speaker 1: ensure my bloodline. I need Wintering and brought her to
- 57:32Speaker 1: have some boys so I can keep his name, a
- 57:35Speaker 1: like Jason already got two. I need some boys to
- 57:38Speaker 1: have boys. My daughter got a son, but his last
- 57:43Speaker 1: name and her husband's last name, because I don't see
- 57:46Speaker 1: why he can't have my dad his own dad's last name. Oh,
- 57:52Speaker 1: I know I'm wrong. Oh I'm wrong. Yeah, all the
- 57:59Speaker 1: way wrong, wrong, like two left shoes. Yes, but it
- 58:04Speaker 1: was just something I wanted. This woman's been dating this
- 58:08Speaker 1: very hampsme physically fit man for two years. Nay v
- 58:11Speaker 1: sha roadblock in their relationship because the guy has never
- 58:14Speaker 1: been married. He don't got no kids, and when he
- 58:17Speaker 1: met he said he's glad she had children because he
- 58:20Speaker 1: didn't want any. He loves my children, treat them well,
- 58:24Speaker 1: so they made me love hit me even more. Oh,
- 58:27Speaker 1: such a good lad. I had a child when I
- 58:29Speaker 1: was sixteen, Then I had another one when I was seventeen. Okay,
- 58:36Speaker 1: we need to let her to start to slow at
- 58:38Speaker 1: this point. Had one in sixteen one and seventeen. I'm good,
- 58:42Speaker 1: storyline looking good. I got married when I was twenty one,
- 58:48Speaker 1: had three more children from that marriage. Did you not
- 58:51Speaker 1: hit me? Go yes at sixteen seventeen. Well, now we
- 58:56Speaker 1: got five and that marriage ended because your husband cheated
- 59:00Speaker 1: on you. He didn't really cheat on you. He was
- 59:02Speaker 1: just out somewhere taking a break from the kids. He
- 59:05Speaker 1: knew it, and something happened that really wasn't cheating. I
- 59:11Speaker 1: was just getting out the house, away from the kids,
- 59:13Speaker 1: and all the other house he could go to was
- 59:15Speaker 1: his other lady's house. He was just over some chick's
- 59:19Speaker 1: house where he could watch the games. Yeah, that marriage ended.
- 59:24Speaker 1: My husband cheated on me. I got remarried when I
- 59:26Speaker 1: was thirty three, and I had two kids from that marriage. Lord, ha,
- 59:34Speaker 1: mercy you find Yeah, I'm hoping, because they ain't no
- 59:42Speaker 1: ugly person finding convince me of all this. I'm just
- 59:46Speaker 1: gonna bear to be a hunted with you. You can
- 59:49Speaker 1: out feel an ugly person, and and I'm accepting all this.
- 59:54Speaker 1: All right, Look, you got to be mind blowing beautiful.
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: I thought, Okay, we'll have no stuck up two Oly
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: oly baby daddy. I'm Steven's response, who is these kids?
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: I can't keep over? These birthdays? To the strawberry letters
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: coming up at twenty three minutes after subject today, no
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: more children please. We'll get back into it right after this.
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: You're listening show, all right? Come on, Steve, let's recap
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: today's strawberry letter, the subject no more children please. Well,
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: I told you I'm the wrong person to ask for
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: help with this No more children please. I feel you anyway.
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: She'd been dating this handsome man physically fifth for two
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: years now. We've reached the role flock in their relationship
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: because he wants kids and saying that he doesn't want kids.
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: And when they met, he said, that's great because she
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: had children because he didn't want any. So he loves
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: my children, treat them well, and they made me love
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: me more. I had a child when I was sixteen
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: years old, and I had another one when I was
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: saying I'm a team. When he started pumping on the
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: breaks right now, you might not have to stop the car,
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: but you definitely need to be pumping the break to
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: be pumping. I got married when I was twenty one.
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: I had three children out of that marriage. Okay, all
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: right now, now we're up into that zone. We got
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: five now, and then that marriage ended after my husband
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: cheated on him. I tell you, he didn't cheat on you.
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: He was just going somewhere to get away from the kids,
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: and it happened to be a woman sitting over there
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: and they started talking. One thing led to another. He
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: really wasn't cheating on you. He was just getting out
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: of the house. That marriage ended after my husband cheated
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: on me. I got remarried when I was thirty three,
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: and I had two more kids out of that marriage.
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: And we didn't stay together long because he was an
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: alcoholic man. It wasn't because he just wanted to drink,
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: but all the damn kids that drove his ass to drink.
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: So every man you had, what the problem is causing
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: them damn kids. I'm gonna just tell you that right now.
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: I'm telling you right now, the first man cheated on
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: you because he was trying to get out of the
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: house and the five kids. Then you got married to
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: another man. He had two more. Now he became an
- 1:01:59Speaker 1: alcoholic seven kids to make the ass drink. Yeah, because
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: she find this hell. Let me tell you something. This
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: girl right here, the only way this is working in
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: this letter, this woman is fine as hell. Okay, because
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: that's the only way you take it up with all
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: this here. He even tried to drink his way through
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: this situation. I'm gonna stay with her. I'm gonna just
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: get fooled every day to see if I ain't get there.
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: Oh boys, she outed doing it. Okay. We didn't stay
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: married long because he was an alcohol I gotta done.
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: I did. I did a damn good job raising all
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: my children by myself with minimal child support. Congratulations. Most
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: women deserve a parade, because now all I want is
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: to enjoy life and getting marriage right this time, I
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: had hoped that I met my soul mate, but I'm
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: starting to question it because he told me that he
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: wants to a son and a daughter by me. Well,
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: he probably saying by you, because you're good at it,
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: you're showing potentially being a great mother, and you still
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: find and I want them buy you boy and a girl.
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: Well you can guaranteeing one of them. But then we
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: were we had we had number eight. Then he wants
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: one mode that's nine nine. You off into that nick
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: cannon range. Lord, but at least the difference between these
- 1:03:36Speaker 1: all ease of yours. I'm not knocking women with children,
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: because I've done that before. It's nothing wrong with having children,
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: and I admire men who take on the responsibility that
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: other men have walked away from. So that's not what
- 1:03:49Speaker 1: this letter is about. This letter about it, Lord? How
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: fine issue? That? What is about? Lord? God? The money?
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: How fine issue? This is the one Strawberry letter where
- 1:03:59Speaker 1: we needed a photo to accompany the letter because you
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: have got to be one bad bad somebody or else.
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: You toe up from the flow up and me and
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: you dating this toe up even more. But I'm telling
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: you right now she finds Yeah, uh, there's no getting
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: through to him. I'm afraid if I tell him, it's
- 1:04:22Speaker 1: definitely no for me, because I may lose him forever. Um.
- 1:04:27Speaker 1: I had a big dinner at my house. I invited
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: all of my children in hopes that he would change
- 1:04:33Speaker 1: his mind. I'm also a grandmother three, that's an additional responsibility,
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: and I'm tired of raising children. You got to yeah, hell,
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: your two husbands was tired to the one that cheated
- 1:04:48Speaker 1: and the one that drank themselves out. Of him. I've
- 1:04:52Speaker 1: considered getting I'm considered getting too bologation. I don't know
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: exactly what that is. I would consider, and I don't
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: want to sound crasp or anything, but I would after
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: seven kids, I would consider just getting myself closed up,
- 1:05:19Speaker 1: said almost. I mean all of the times. YE mean,
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: I would require that all of my men get closed
- 1:05:29Speaker 1: up to put a bag on your side and pete
- 1:05:34Speaker 1: out a way. I don't want nothing. We don't want
- 1:05:37Speaker 1: nothing coming out of him. Nothing, God, are you insane?
- 1:05:45Speaker 1: I don't thinking about my tooth tides. Make sure I
- 1:05:47Speaker 1: will not get pregnant by him. Would it be selfish
- 1:05:50Speaker 1: for me to continue dating this man? Know that I
- 1:05:52Speaker 1: have no plans for having children with him. I mean
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: you can if you tell him, he's still gonna date you, though,
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: because you find that's what the letter you experienced. You're
- 1:06:03Speaker 1: doing some things. What these men can't even walk away?
- 1:06:05Speaker 1: Not so you had one to cheated one on crap,
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: But this one is stay. Probably gonna have to be
- 1:06:11Speaker 1: in mid r all right. That's it. That's it. First
- 1:06:16Speaker 1: one left for alcoholic gont Today's letter on Instagram at
- 1:06:23Speaker 1: Steve Harvey FM and check out the strawberry letter podcasts
- 1:06:25Speaker 1: as well. That's one coming up next to is Junior,
- 1:06:29Speaker 1: and Junior is requesting instead of sports talk, some Merril
- 1:06:32Speaker 1: advice from you, Steve. We'll get into that, right you're
- 1:06:37Speaker 1: listening to morning show. All right, So Junior, it's almost
- 1:06:41Speaker 1: been two weeks. Well it has been two weeks now,
- 1:06:44Speaker 1: you're you're heading into your third week since you got married.
- 1:06:47Speaker 1: And what's on your mind today? You want to ask
- 1:06:50Speaker 1: Steve some questions? Yeah, I really got talking on because
- 1:06:54Speaker 1: I'm telling you right now. First off, got tired of
- 1:06:57Speaker 1: doing the medical report here. First off, quiet, I had
- 1:07:02Speaker 1: to make some adjustments. I really do. I just realized
- 1:07:05Speaker 1: your sports report was starting to sound like the church
- 1:07:08Speaker 1: is sick and shutting. Yeah. Now, you know, I've been
- 1:07:13Speaker 1: singing a long time. Yeah, and I feel like I
- 1:07:15Speaker 1: got to make some adjustments because I'm not gonna make it.
- 1:07:17Speaker 1: I can tell you this now. Because she come here
- 1:07:19Speaker 1: every day. Yeah, she come here every day. Yeah. Yeah,
- 1:07:23Speaker 1: she stayed at Julie. Yes, ye understand. Yeah, she don't
- 1:07:27Speaker 1: go home. She come home. She is home. Because all
- 1:07:30Speaker 1: I said, with what you're doing here next month, that
- 1:07:34Speaker 1: wasn't probably the right thing to say. But I just
- 1:07:36Speaker 1: asked that what you're doing I forgot doing? Yeah, I forgot.
- 1:07:39Speaker 1: You forgot forgot what? I forgot? That she stay here
- 1:07:42Speaker 1: because I've been singing so long. I forgot that. When
- 1:07:46Speaker 1: she come in the dough I shot. I thought somebody
- 1:07:48Speaker 1: broke in. So it's huh. She come here every day,
- 1:07:55Speaker 1: every day? And then and then what do you do
- 1:07:58Speaker 1: with all do you have to do these things? Like
- 1:07:59Speaker 1: just listen to this list, because it's all the request time,
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: all the request, Like like every time I get up,
- 1:08:06Speaker 1: it's something. It's gonna be something every time I get up.
- 1:08:09Speaker 1: Now when she get up? When I get up, like,
- 1:08:11Speaker 1: can you bring me some water? You you waited all
- 1:08:14Speaker 1: this time for me to get up? Wait on your
- 1:08:17Speaker 1: ass to get up? Okay, she was thirsty, but she
- 1:08:19Speaker 1: was waiting on you because you can go in the
- 1:08:20Speaker 1: kitchen right Okay, yeah, because she got stuff to do. Okay,
- 1:08:24Speaker 1: here go another thing. I need some chips? How do
- 1:08:27Speaker 1: I know why I'm getting if it ain't nothing in here?
- 1:08:29Speaker 1: Will I'm supposed to go get the kip? You're asking
- 1:08:32Speaker 1: to go to the stove. You go to the stove. Okay,
- 1:08:36Speaker 1: he go another this one? Get on my ner? Can
- 1:08:37Speaker 1: you bring me my purse. It's your purse, not my purse.
- 1:08:41Speaker 1: Just bring your ass is over that bibe though every
- 1:08:45Speaker 1: time she can't find her glasses, I got to go
- 1:08:46Speaker 1: look for him. Do you see my glasses is the problem.
- 1:08:52Speaker 1: So while I'm out, I'm out. I'm out, you know,
- 1:08:55Speaker 1: I'm out, made of my errands, do what I need
- 1:08:56Speaker 1: to do, and then I get a phone call while
- 1:08:59Speaker 1: you out? Can't you stopped by the stove? So you
- 1:09:01Speaker 1: both have vehicles, That's what I'm saying. So can you
- 1:09:06Speaker 1: run my bath water? So every night you bathe, I
- 1:09:08Speaker 1: gotta turn water every night. Well in the beginning, Junior, Yeah,
- 1:09:13Speaker 1: because this don't sound like marriage. What does this lame?
- 1:09:17Speaker 1: This sound like like an indentchous servant? It will just
- 1:09:19Speaker 1: sound like because we're calling it that. It's damn the
- 1:09:24Speaker 1: slavery all this come put out a paycheck to Welcome
- 1:09:32Speaker 1: to married life, Junior. Coming up, don't nobody feels sorry
- 1:09:37Speaker 1: for you, because me and Tommy told you. Coming up
- 1:09:40Speaker 1: at the time of the hour, we'll have more of
- 1:09:42Speaker 1: the Steve Harvey Morning Show right after this. You're listening
- 1:09:46Speaker 1: Steven Show, all right? So nia Long Guys was seen
- 1:09:51Speaker 1: for the first time she's made a public appearance since
- 1:09:55Speaker 1: her fiance, Balton Celtics head coach email You Duca, was
- 1:10:00Speaker 1: suspended for an alleged consensual relationship with the female on
- 1:10:04Speaker 1: his NBA team staff. Nia stepped out in Los Angeles
- 1:10:07Speaker 1: on this past Saturday. Does that Nia for some retail
- 1:10:11Speaker 1: therapy with her son, sant I'll be talking about me, Julian. No, No, anyway,
- 1:10:22Speaker 1: she was. She was out and about, did a little
- 1:10:25Speaker 1: shopping with her son, who she shares with Emay. The
- 1:10:29Speaker 1: paparazzi siding comes just a week after Nia broke her
- 1:10:33Speaker 1: silence on the scandal, and she released a statement thanking
- 1:10:35Speaker 1: fans for their support amid the controversy. She said, the
- 1:10:39Speaker 1: outpouring of love and support from family, friends, and the
- 1:10:41Speaker 1: community during this difficult time means so much to me.
- 1:10:45Speaker 1: I asked that my privacy be respected as I processed
- 1:10:48Speaker 1: the recent events. However, her privacy was not respected. Take
- 1:10:51Speaker 1: a listen to the paparazzi. Hiinia, how are you? How
- 1:10:56Speaker 1: are you holding up? I don't have any car, marry now,
- 1:11:00Speaker 1: there's nothing, nothing that you want to say. I mean,
- 1:11:03Speaker 1: are you guys working things out all right? Laugh? Yeah?
- 1:11:13Speaker 1: They just take the damn picture. You're paparazzi. You ain't
- 1:11:15Speaker 1: a reporter. My hormones are raging. Okay, Steve, all right,
- 1:11:20Speaker 1: here's the question. Shouldn't there be some kind of boundaries?
- 1:11:23Speaker 1: And you should know this because you're you're a star,
- 1:11:25Speaker 1: and they shoot you all the time, they take pictures
- 1:11:28Speaker 1: of you all the time. Shouldn't there be some sort
- 1:11:30Speaker 1: of boundaries for paparazzi to give celebrities the privacy? Yeah,
- 1:11:35Speaker 1: and they don't have it. And here's here's a problem,
- 1:11:38Speaker 1: because the stuff comes with the price. Here's what happens,
- 1:11:42Speaker 1: you mean, celebrity. If you take a picture, you can
- 1:11:46Speaker 1: sell the picture to the tabloids to sell the pictures
- 1:11:49Speaker 1: for online people to getty for a price. And that's it.
- 1:11:53Speaker 1: And then a lot of people take pictures you haven't
- 1:11:56Speaker 1: noticed where you see watermark on the picture might say
- 1:12:01Speaker 1: jetty images or so they're nice pictures or really rare pictures.
- 1:12:06Speaker 1: If you want that picture, you have to buy the picture.
- 1:12:09Speaker 1: That's why it has that water mok on it. So
- 1:12:12Speaker 1: you have to buy. You can't edit that mark out. Okay.
- 1:12:15Speaker 1: So it's a business. And once it's a business, all
- 1:12:19Speaker 1: decency goes out of the windows. Yeah, that's why you
- 1:12:23Speaker 1: see a lot of TMZ cameras with people that don't
- 1:12:25Speaker 1: really work for TMZ, but they have TMZ cameras and
- 1:12:29Speaker 1: they're like independent contract Okay, so they put TMZ on
- 1:12:34Speaker 1: their camera and they shoot and then they send it
- 1:12:36Speaker 1: in of Howard Knee them like the footage or use
- 1:12:38Speaker 1: it they get a check. For example, if you came
- 1:12:40Speaker 1: up with a picture of Mariah's twins before anybody else
- 1:12:44Speaker 1: or Beyonce's kids, and you could come up with that picture,
- 1:12:47Speaker 1: you could sell that picture for a lot of money.
- 1:12:49Speaker 1: Like you say, you could have gotten old, you could
- 1:12:54Speaker 1: have gotten it's no telling, oh easy, or they to
- 1:12:58Speaker 1: pay for that picture Beyonce's kids. But the thing with
- 1:13:01Speaker 1: n though I saw the video, she's walking in the
- 1:13:03Speaker 1: parking lot with her son, who who she shares? Who
- 1:13:07Speaker 1: she shares with? This man part of the scandal, And
- 1:13:10Speaker 1: isn't it just foul that this paparazzi guys asked her
- 1:13:13Speaker 1: questions in front of her son and father. That's that's wrong,
- 1:13:18Speaker 1: that's kind of fall Isn't there some kind of rule
- 1:13:21Speaker 1: with that scene? No, no, no, The rule is we
- 1:13:23Speaker 1: don't put people ask no more, and we need to
- 1:13:25Speaker 1: get You can't get no picture if I'm whipping your ass.
- 1:13:29Speaker 1: It's hard to get a picture that. I was coming
- 1:13:35Speaker 1: out of a store in Beverly Hills, a watch store.
- 1:13:40Speaker 1: Steve gotta talk to you, Hey man, how you doing.
- 1:13:42Speaker 1: I'm used calling. I want to talk to you about Laurie.
- 1:13:46Speaker 1: Laurie and the wife off Brandy Carley off limits, right
- 1:13:53Speaker 1: them daughters and the wife off limits. I said, hey man,
- 1:13:55Speaker 1: don't ask me nothing about that. Hey, I mean, who
- 1:13:58Speaker 1: better to ask? So black dude wouldn't say, hey man,
- 1:14:01Speaker 1: that's enough. It was a black with a white dude.
- 1:14:06Speaker 1: The black dude said, hey man, that's yeah. He kind
- 1:14:09Speaker 1: of foresaw because yeah, I said, hey man, keep on now,
- 1:14:15Speaker 1: that's all I'm gonna say to you. He knew that tone.
- 1:14:17Speaker 1: And so the black dude, where, hey man, that's that's
- 1:14:19Speaker 1: another Yeah. Hey, have a great day, Miss Harder. All Right,
- 1:14:24Speaker 1: you got the ultimate black ass warning. We'll have more
- 1:14:28Speaker 1: of the Steve Harvey Morning Show coming up at twenty
- 1:14:30Speaker 1: minutes after the hour. Right after this, you're listening to
- 1:14:35Speaker 1: morning show. Have you guys heard of Sober October? Well,
- 1:14:41Speaker 1: Sober October. This is what the Sober October deal is
- 1:14:44Speaker 1: all about it. It's a new trend where thousands of
- 1:14:47Speaker 1: people give up alcohol for the month of October, right
- 1:14:50Speaker 1: before the holidays and the over indulgence begins. Okay, there
- 1:14:54Speaker 1: are lots of benefits to going alcohol free for just
- 1:14:56Speaker 1: one month. A study found that just four weeks without
- 1:14:59Speaker 1: alcoho hal can regulate your blood pressure and lowered Yeah.
- 1:15:04Speaker 1: Who voted on October though, because it's before in November
- 1:15:07Speaker 1: and it's Thanksgiving where you're over in Delta. I've been

- 1:15:31Speaker 1: all right, like I was like I was saying. Yeah.
- 1:15:34Speaker 1: The study found that just four weeks without alcohol can
- 1:15:38Speaker 1: regulate your blood pressure and lower your cancer r Well,
- 1:15:42Speaker 1: it's too late for that. Staining from an alcohol will
- 1:15:46Speaker 1: also help you lose weight, it'll help you sleep better,

- 1:17:04Speaker 1: be bigger than Nash. All right? Would you rather not
- 1:17:14Speaker 1: file your nails for one year or not clip your
- 1:17:17Speaker 1: toe nails for one year? So either let your your
- 1:17:21Speaker 1: your finger nails grow long or your toenails grow long
- 1:17:24Speaker 1: for one year. Yeah, I gotta let them toes go
- 1:17:26Speaker 1: because I can't have his hands were hold cards in
- 1:17:29Speaker 1: my hand microphone. I don't gotta pointed to let us
- 1:17:41Speaker 1: get some stones on them, all right, yeah, ballerina, all that?
- 1:17:49Speaker 1: All right? Would you rather um mc a bingo game
- 1:17:52Speaker 1: at the church or would you rather m see a
- 1:17:55Speaker 1: puppy fashion show all day being the church? Yeah as hell?
- 1:18:08Speaker 1: Come yeah all right? Would would you rather drown everything
- 1:18:15Speaker 1: and catch up? Or cover everything in gravy? Chip and gravy?
- 1:18:21Speaker 1: I like them both. I'm mad to go and go
- 1:18:24Speaker 1: with that grave because if you put ketch up on
- 1:18:27Speaker 1: my chicken, I'm about to throw up. Really catch up
- 1:18:31Speaker 1: on chicken? Yeah a lot of people? Yeah, catch catch
- 1:18:36Speaker 1: up on mac and cheese. No, no, see, I can
- 1:18:40Speaker 1: put gravy on mac gray on mac and cheese if
- 1:18:44Speaker 1: I have to. It's been on that before. Gravey on dressing.
- 1:18:51Speaker 1: I had a little grave on the greens one time.
- 1:18:53Speaker 1: You know, I don't stop see if you yes? So
- 1:18:57Speaker 1: you know I know how to do that. I had
- 1:18:58Speaker 1: to go with that grave not to catch it. I'll
- 1:19:01Speaker 1: put grave on a hot dog in a Harvey. Really
- 1:19:05Speaker 1: it ain't never had grave, but I bet I'll put
- 1:19:08Speaker 1: it on there, so everybody's in agreement with grades rather
- 1:19:12Speaker 1: than catch Okay, all right, So one last one if
- 1:19:15Speaker 1: we get to it's sleeping. Would you rather sleeping flannel
- 1:19:18Speaker 1: pj's year round or sleep naked year round? Naked because
- 1:19:28Speaker 1: I'm cold, I'm naked all time? All Right, I got
- 1:19:33Speaker 1: a All right, that's today's round it would you rather?
- 1:19:40Speaker 1: Coming up next at forty nine minutes after, it's our
- 1:19:42Speaker 1: last break of the day, and we'll have some closing
- 1:19:44Speaker 1: remarks from the one and only Steve Harvey right after this.
- 1:19:48Speaker 1: You're listening to Morning show. All right. Here we are, guys,
- 1:19:52Speaker 1: our last break of the day. Um, it's been a
- 1:19:55Speaker 1: good day. It's been a good day. We've had fun today.
- 1:19:58Speaker 1: But we got a good serious about this voting because
- 1:20:01Speaker 1: the elections midterm our next month, November eighth, Steve, a
- 1:20:05Speaker 1: little more than a month away. Yeah, it is man, all.
- 1:20:09Speaker 1: We had Miss Stacey Abrams on with us yesterday. Yes,
- 1:20:14Speaker 1: and yeah, y'all got to suppose we are not playing
- 1:20:21Speaker 1: with y'all. Yeah, out and vote early votes and yeah,
- 1:20:24Speaker 1: and we can do it. The power is within us
- 1:20:27Speaker 1: and we need to use that power and uh, you know,
- 1:20:30Speaker 1: not let someone take it from us. We need to
- 1:20:32Speaker 1: use our power. Go to when we all vote dot org.
- 1:20:35Speaker 1: Find out when you need to register to vote. You
- 1:20:37Speaker 1: can do early voting all that when we all vote
- 1:20:41Speaker 1: dot org. Hey, you know something. I'm gonna talk about
- 1:20:44Speaker 1: voting in a miss minute. But I was talking with
- 1:20:47Speaker 1: the young person and I really stumbled across something that
- 1:20:52Speaker 1: really meant a lot to me, and uh, you know,
- 1:20:56Speaker 1: we were talking about education at the time, and the
- 1:20:58Speaker 1: importance of education and how it's imperative that a lot
- 1:21:03Speaker 1: of people get in education. And I didn't really really
- 1:21:09Speaker 1: receive a formal education in school. And so this young
- 1:21:15Speaker 1: person was telling me how imperative school is, and I
- 1:21:18Speaker 1: agreed with him. You know, to a degree, it is imperative,
- 1:21:21Speaker 1: I said, but it's not the only way. He said, Well,
- 1:21:26Speaker 1: school is the best way to learn. I said, well,
- 1:21:31Speaker 1: I hate to tell you this, but you're gonna learn
- 1:21:33Speaker 1: way more outside of school than you ever will inside
- 1:21:37Speaker 1: the bounds of a school. He said, how can you
- 1:21:39Speaker 1: say that, I said, because there's a difference between life
- 1:21:46Speaker 1: and school. See when you're in school. The difference between
- 1:21:53Speaker 1: school and life is this. See when you're in school,
- 1:21:57Speaker 1: you are taught a lesson and then you're given a test.
- 1:22:04Speaker 1: But in life, you're given a test that teaches you
- 1:22:09Speaker 1: a lesson. You follow what I'm saying, there's a huge
- 1:22:13Speaker 1: difference in that. In school, you are taught a lesson
- 1:22:18Speaker 1: and then they give you a test. But seeing life
- 1:22:22Speaker 1: is different. You are given the tests first, and then
- 1:22:26Speaker 1: that test teaches you a lesson. That's why I say
- 1:22:30Speaker 1: you will learn far more outside the walls of a
- 1:22:33Speaker 1: school than you can ever learn in a school. And
- 1:22:37Speaker 1: school lessons is limited to the subject life Lord a
- 1:22:43Speaker 1: mercy man, old man only. Life is all incompetent and
- 1:22:47Speaker 1: teaches you everything. And one of the things that I've
- 1:22:51Speaker 1: watched as a black man growing up in this country,
- 1:22:55Speaker 1: I've had to evolve as a black person as a man.
- 1:23:00Speaker 1: You know, I used to didn't really care about voting
- 1:23:02Speaker 1: when I was young because I had so many things
- 1:23:05Speaker 1: in the forefront. And see, you have to remember, man,
- 1:23:08Speaker 1: I grew up in sepregation. I grew up in the sixties.
- 1:23:14Speaker 1: I was a child in the sixties. I've seen colored
- 1:23:17Speaker 1: only water fountains in white's only restrooms and stuff like that.
- 1:23:21Speaker 1: I saw that it was vigenn I saw it. I've
- 1:23:25Speaker 1: gotten in trouble because of that stuff. So my vision
- 1:23:30Speaker 1: of life comes from a very very different set of eyes.
- 1:23:35Speaker 1: And so when I was growing up and I was hustling, man,
- 1:23:37Speaker 1: voting wasn't that important to me, because I just wasn't thinking.
- 1:23:41Speaker 1: I was so busy hurting it, trying to find a way,
- 1:23:45Speaker 1: and so disappointed in the system. Man. But I didn't
- 1:23:49Speaker 1: even understand that I could have been a part of
- 1:23:51Speaker 1: changing the system a long, long, long time ago. If
- 1:23:55Speaker 1: so many of us didn't feel that way, what times
- 1:23:59Speaker 1: have changed a bit in terms we now know and
- 1:24:03Speaker 1: have seen first hand that our voting does make a
- 1:24:07Speaker 1: huge difference, that our voting matters. And we watched it
- 1:24:11Speaker 1: a couple of years ago when Biden got in office.
- 1:24:15Speaker 1: We watched the voting come down the line in real time.
- 1:24:20Speaker 1: We watched Milwaukee Sway Wisconsin. We watched Detroit when Michigan,
- 1:24:26Speaker 1: we watched Philly when Pennsylvania, and we sat here and
- 1:24:31Speaker 1: we watched Atlanta when Georgie. And for the first time
- 1:24:38Speaker 1: we knew for a fact it was us. But let
- 1:24:43Speaker 1: me tell you something even more important. They knew it
- 1:24:46Speaker 1: was us. They went I be damned for the first time.
- 1:24:55Speaker 1: We know directly, and they saw the power they had. Now,
- 1:25:00Speaker 1: what we gotta do is we gotta we gotta, we
- 1:25:02Speaker 1: gotta snatch that knowledge for it. We gotta take that
- 1:25:05Speaker 1: power back. We can't give them credit that, you know.
- 1:25:10Speaker 1: Fox ain't gonna write no stories about how important a
- 1:25:13Speaker 1: black vote was, how the black and brown vote swayed
- 1:25:17Speaker 1: the election. They're not gonna write no stories about that
- 1:25:20Speaker 1: because they don't want you to know. But I'm here
- 1:25:23Speaker 1: to tell you. Charlemagne is here to tell you. Ricky
- 1:25:25Speaker 1: Smiley's here to tell you. Dear Hugley's here to tell you. Now, man,
- 1:25:30Speaker 1: we made a difference. We mattered. As a matter of fact,
- 1:25:34Speaker 1: we were the deciding factor. Now this November eighth, I
- 1:25:38Speaker 1: believe us to poll date this year November eighth, votal registration.
- 1:25:43Speaker 1: Early voting begins on October seventeenth. We got to start.
- 1:25:48Speaker 1: We got to vote, y'all, because Stacy Abrams can make history.
- 1:25:54Speaker 1: Stacy Abrams can become the first African American woman to
- 1:25:58Speaker 1: become a governor in this entire country. We have a
- 1:26:02Speaker 1: duty to make that happen. We have to vote. Let's
- 1:26:09Speaker 1: show up, brothers. I'm calling on brothers everywhere to show
- 1:26:12Speaker 1: up and show out, show them the stript that we
- 1:26:14Speaker 1: really have. Let's go, hey, y'all talk to God. Today's
- 1:26:17Speaker 1: absolutely love to hear from you. All right, y'all, stay
- 1:26:19Speaker 1: in peace for all. Steve Every contests no purchase necessary,
