- 0:00Speaker 1: Today's show is pre recorded. Y'all know what time y'all
- 0:05Speaker 1: don't know. Y'all have a sun giving them like the
- 0:15Speaker 1: milling bus things and the coves and be good. It
- 0:22Speaker 1: has to other. Please, I don't join jo. You gotta
- 1:01Speaker 1: turn you go, you gotta turn to turn them out.
- 1:43Speaker 1: You got to turn them out, water the water go.
- 1:55Speaker 1: Come come on your baby. Uh huh. I shall will
- 2:03Speaker 1: a good morning everybody. Y'all listening to the voice, come
- 2:07Speaker 1: on dig me now. But it only Steve Harvey got
- 2:10Speaker 1: a radio show man. Instead of trying to be about
- 2:14Speaker 1: the business to y'all, I'm I'm I'm doing all I can.
- 2:19Speaker 1: But you know what's crazy in the efforts that I make,
- 2:24Speaker 1: I can do more. If my father used to tell
- 2:27Speaker 1: me something when I was growing up, he says, son,
- 2:31Speaker 1: when you've done your best, and you've done all you can,
- 2:38Speaker 1: sit still for a second and just do a little
- 2:41Speaker 1: bit more. Always remember that, he said, when you've done
- 2:45Speaker 1: the best you can and you can done all you
- 2:48Speaker 1: can think of, he say, sit still for a minute
- 2:51Speaker 1: and do some more. And you know what I've discovered
- 2:54Speaker 1: in my life, Always have a little more. I ain't
- 2:57Speaker 1: ever just out out out completely I can't take another step.
- 3:02Speaker 1: There ain't another breath in me. There ain't there ain't
- 3:04Speaker 1: another thought I can produce. I'm never completely out, man.
- 3:09Speaker 1: Just take a rest for a minute, man, and then
- 3:13Speaker 1: just do a little bit more and that that. I
- 3:16Speaker 1: can't tell you how many times that's helped me get
- 3:19Speaker 1: over the top. You know, I was watching a documentary
- 3:23Speaker 1: about people climbing Mount Everest and how difficult climbing Mount
- 3:26Speaker 1: Everest was, and how they have on the hill something
- 3:31Speaker 1: called like a death zone or killing zone, where the
- 3:35Speaker 1: majority of people run out of oxygen and they have
- 3:37Speaker 1: to turn back. Well, what's crazy is it's right in
- 3:43Speaker 1: view of the summit. You can actually see the top
- 3:46Speaker 1: of Mount Everest from there. But it's but it's that
- 3:50Speaker 1: little bit that's left that's this most difficult. Now that
- 3:54Speaker 1: I forgot all the reasons why they said most people
- 3:56Speaker 1: don't make it from there, and more people have lost
- 3:59Speaker 1: their lives that area. I don't know what it is,
- 4:02Speaker 1: but the people that make it to the top of
- 4:06Speaker 1: Mount efforts. They all had to go through that same
- 4:09Speaker 1: zone or that same area, but they had a little
- 4:14Speaker 1: bit more that allowed them to get to the top.
- 4:18Speaker 1: You know, a lot of people have had accidents up
- 4:20Speaker 1: there trying that, So I'm not even really sure if
- 4:22Speaker 1: Mount Everest analogy is a good one. But let's just
- 4:27Speaker 1: break it down a little bit more. Let's just talk
- 4:29Speaker 1: about life. There's a poem I learned back when I
- 4:34Speaker 1: host pledge, and it's called don't Quit. It goes like this,
- 4:37Speaker 1: if I make a mistake, I'm just trying to drum
- 4:40Speaker 1: it up, So here we go. It says when things
- 4:42Speaker 1: go wrong, as they sometimes will, when the road you're
- 4:45Speaker 1: trudging seems all uphill, when your funds are low and
- 4:50Speaker 1: your debts are high, when you want to smile, but
- 4:54Speaker 1: you have to side when cares are pressing you down
- 4:58Speaker 1: a bit, rest if you must, But don't quit. For
- 5:03Speaker 1: life is queer with its twisting turns, as every one
- 5:06Speaker 1: of us must sometimes learn, And many a fellow has
- 5:10Speaker 1: turned about when he might have won had he stuck
- 5:14Speaker 1: it out. So don't give up. Though the pace seems slow,
- 5:18Speaker 1: you may succeed with another blow. Often the gold is
- 5:24Speaker 1: nearer than it seems to a faint and a faltering man.
- 5:29Speaker 1: And often the struggler has given up when he might
- 5:32Speaker 1: have captured the victor's cup. And he learns too late
- 5:36Speaker 1: when the night came down, how close he was to
- 5:40Speaker 1: the golden crown. Success is failure turned inside out. It's
- 5:47Speaker 1: your silver tint of your clouds of doubt, and you
- 5:51Speaker 1: never can tell how close you are. It may be
- 5:54Speaker 1: kneel when it seems afar, so stick to the fight
- 6:00Speaker 1: when your hardest hit. It's when things seem worse that
- 6:04Speaker 1: you mustn't quit. I remember it because I had a
- 6:08Speaker 1: special method of helping you remember stuff back then. But
- 6:11Speaker 1: I remember it at that point. My dad has kept me.
- 6:15Speaker 1: You know, we often talk about scripture and everything, and
- 6:18Speaker 1: then I don't see how I could live without it.
- 6:21Speaker 1: But every now and then, man, somebody has a writing.
- 6:24Speaker 1: God puts a writing on somebody's heart that delivers a
- 6:27Speaker 1: message man that can help people. I use every motivational
- 6:30Speaker 1: tool that I possibly can to climb this letter of success,
- 6:34Speaker 1: or try to be the best father and the best
- 6:36Speaker 1: husband I can be. I've done a lot of changing
- 6:38Speaker 1: over the years, and so have you. But change is
- 6:41Speaker 1: necessary in order to grow. If you don't make changes, folks,
- 6:45Speaker 1: you can't grow. I was a young man on my set.
- 6:49Speaker 1: I kept looking at him, and a sharp little young
- 6:51Speaker 1: dude just on my set, and he had these dreads
- 6:56Speaker 1: and I mean they were they were super long, man,
- 7:00Speaker 1: they will well below the middle of his back, I
- 7:03Speaker 1: mean images long. And he kept talking to me, and
- 7:05Speaker 1: he kept talking to me and talking to me. So
- 7:08Speaker 1: your man kept talking to him. And I said, hey, man,
- 7:10Speaker 1: you know you do you're a huge self, a favor
- 7:13Speaker 1: in the business you're in. If you got a haircut,
- 7:16Speaker 1: you would do yourself a huge favor. I said, your
- 7:19Speaker 1: images everything, man, I said, you keep stopping me in
- 7:21Speaker 1: the hallway to try to tell me what you're doing,
- 7:23Speaker 1: what you are, but all I see is your hair. Now,
- 7:26Speaker 1: I keep trying to figure out what you're doing with
- 7:27Speaker 1: all that hair. Man, Now you can feel how you
- 7:30Speaker 1: want to feel. But I'm like an employer. I employed people.
- 7:35Speaker 1: So when I'm walking through the hallway and I try
- 7:37Speaker 1: to think of you traveling with me and you sitting
- 7:40Speaker 1: in a meeting with me, I try to imagine you
- 7:42Speaker 1: in your suit sitting there talking business with me. And so,
- 7:46Speaker 1: just like other employers are, I'm just having a real
- 7:49Speaker 1: story with you. So I said, man, you ought to
- 7:51Speaker 1: consider cutting your hair. He said, Man, mister Harvey, I've
- 7:55Speaker 1: been growing his hair side a little boy I said,
- 7:58Speaker 1: how hold are you now? He said twenty eight? I said, well,
- 8:01Speaker 1: how long you want to hang on to what you
- 8:03Speaker 1: was when you was a little bored? You know, if
- 8:05Speaker 1: you started growing your hair when you're a teenager? I mean,
- 8:07Speaker 1: you're twenty eight now. And I said, so, let me
- 8:10Speaker 1: help you understand something. Let me let me ask you something.
- 8:13Speaker 1: What does it do for you? He's a man, it's
- 8:16Speaker 1: just who I am. It's I said, so you your hair?
- 8:21Speaker 1: He said no, no, But it's a part of me.
- 8:24Speaker 1: I say, that part of you that you're hanging on to.
- 8:27Speaker 1: What does it do for you? I just like it? Well, dog,
- 8:32Speaker 1: I like ice cream, but I fear that. But if
- 8:34Speaker 1: I hang on ice cream and eat ice cream every
- 8:36Speaker 1: single day, my body gonna reflect that. What is it
- 8:40Speaker 1: that you hanging on to that you don't want to
- 8:43Speaker 1: let go of? That's prohibiting you from being what all
- 8:46Speaker 1: you can be? See, it's hard to be what all
- 8:48Speaker 1: you can be if you want to keep being all
- 8:51Speaker 1: you was? Don't that make sense to you? So I
- 8:55Speaker 1: can't tell you how many times I've had to change.
- 8:58Speaker 1: Change is necessary to grow. You can't be all you
- 9:04Speaker 1: can be if you want to keep hanging on to
- 9:07Speaker 1: all you was. That don't make no sense. How do
- 9:12Speaker 1: you go forward? If you keep going backwards? You can't
- 9:16Speaker 1: stay here and go there? Do you understand that if
- 9:21Speaker 1: you want to go over there, you must remove yourself
- 9:24Speaker 1: from right here? Oh? I got right? Here is comfortable?
- 9:28Speaker 1: I got right here is safe. But over there's where
- 9:32Speaker 1: the shade is. Over. There's where the fruit is. Over
- 9:36Speaker 1: there is where the opportunity is. Over there is where
- 9:41Speaker 1: the mountain of goal is. So why are you stuck
- 9:44Speaker 1: on here? You got to leave here to go over there.
- 9:48Speaker 1: You can't be all you can be if you want
- 9:51Speaker 1: to stay stuck on who you was? Changees growth is necessary.
- 9:55Speaker 1: All let's go. You're listening? Who? One? Two three? I
- 10:05Speaker 1: got it? I got it? What do you mean? I mean?
- 10:11Speaker 1: I got it? What about me? I got it? Oo?
- 10:17Speaker 1: Do you want something? Come get it? Oo? Everybody all
- 10:22Speaker 1: don't want it? Oh? What is it? I got it?
- 10:27Speaker 1: I don't know what it is, but I think that
- 10:30Speaker 1: you do that? Gumman? Who is he? And what is he?
- 10:37Speaker 1: To you? Who? That's when you combine a song, That's
- 10:42Speaker 1: when you're writing. Right there, Steve Harvard Martin, show y'all,
- 10:46Speaker 1: we got it Shirley Strawberry Colin for Real Junior, better
- 10:51Speaker 1: known as to kill One of Mississippi Monica. Straight out
- 10:55Speaker 1: from the King of Prank's nephew Tommy, Good morning, everybody,
- 11:00Speaker 1: Morning morning Dad. I just thoughted crazy kids say Grand Rising,
- 11:07Speaker 1: Grand ride Rise, saying that extra too much, Ye just
- 11:19Speaker 1: to say good morning going. Oh you know what else?
- 11:23Speaker 1: They say? Happy born day, worth day. Yeah, I ain't
- 11:28Speaker 1: got to learn all that. Ye. Hey, man, let me
- 11:33Speaker 1: back in. I miss my zoo if I don't know
- 11:34Speaker 1: what the hell I did, Junior? What you got man? Yeah,
- 11:37Speaker 1: but let me ask you something. Let me just gonna
- 11:39Speaker 1: ask you because I got some pray. They need to know.
- 11:42Speaker 1: They need to go ahead and turn it on in.
- 11:44Speaker 1: Why Why don't it look good to be a player
- 11:46Speaker 1: of later in life? Because they think they're doing something.
- 11:49Speaker 1: It's not good. Dog, It's a sad sight. It is.
- 11:53Speaker 1: It's really hard when you walk into a club and
- 11:56Speaker 1: everybody got on white T shirts and you standing over
- 12:00Speaker 1: there with a three piece suit on, over with a
- 12:02Speaker 1: pocket square dog, Why are you in the club? Why
- 12:12Speaker 1: are you still going out? You don't go to clubs.
- 12:17Speaker 1: They have places for old people to go. It's called taverns. Now,
- 12:24Speaker 1: it's not a lot of them, I know, because it
- 12:26Speaker 1: ain't a lot of people still wanting to go out.
- 12:29Speaker 1: But if you do want to go out, yeah, they
- 12:33Speaker 1: have names that know. This place is for you. Standless,
- 12:40Speaker 1: you know, don't nobody name the club after them? No
- 12:47Speaker 1: standleys going down the stands, you know, easy talk, easy talk.
- 13:04Speaker 1: Here's another club, Smitten, Bobbie Q and tax Service after
- 13:10Speaker 1: our joint. I would hang out there. This is where
- 13:15Speaker 1: old people go go. Well, there are other old people.
- 13:21Speaker 1: Don't go out here with these young people. They know
- 13:24Speaker 1: you don't be long here. You cannot be in the club.
- 13:29Speaker 1: And one person asked, somebody who uncle is dad? All right, guys,
- 13:36Speaker 1: coming up at thirty two minutes after the hour, we're
- 13:39Speaker 1: gonna start the show off with nephew. Tommy's run that
- 13:41Speaker 1: prank back right after this. You're listening show all right,
- 13:47Speaker 1: Time to start your morning off with run that prank
- 13:49Speaker 1: back with the nephew. What you got nef o God, Well,
- 13:53Speaker 1: I don't have, but the name of the prank is
- 13:56Speaker 1: bid boot. I don't have big boots with the name
- 13:59Speaker 1: of the prince. Let's go hello, Hellong trying to speak
- 14:04Speaker 1: to Chanie she's not here right now because I take
- 14:07Speaker 1: a message. Uh do you know when she's coming back? Nah?
- 14:10Speaker 1: Is this a business calls them? Nah? No, this personal.
- 14:13Speaker 1: I need to talk to her immediately. Na, you need
- 14:16Speaker 1: to talk to me. It's this a man? Who is this?
- 14:19Speaker 1: This is? This is Brandon? Who? Who? Who are you?
- 14:21Speaker 1: I'm earnest man? But why do you know? She nice?
- 14:24Speaker 1: I got a bit of a situation here, man, And
- 14:27Speaker 1: it's basically a financial situation that I'm owed some money
- 14:31Speaker 1: from her. So I kind of need to talk to
- 14:33Speaker 1: her about about getting this money. Uh, is totally disrupted
- 14:38Speaker 1: my whole apartment. And I need to actually see about
- 14:41Speaker 1: talking to her about getting this whole problem taking care
- 14:43Speaker 1: of what what's the what's the situation, What's what's the
- 14:46Speaker 1: what's going on? I mean, I'm basically right now, I'm
- 14:50Speaker 1: twenty five hundred dollars in the rears due to due
- 14:54Speaker 1: to Schanie, And you know, I need to see if
- 14:57Speaker 1: she's gonna be able to pay me for this situation
- 14:59Speaker 1: or what. You know, my girl owe you money. She
- 15:02Speaker 1: owes me twenty five hundred dollars, twenty five hundred dollars

- 19:22Speaker 1: full years. We're about to get what's about to get
- 19:23Speaker 1: married and you're calling here with this. What are y'all
- 19:26Speaker 1: supposed to get married? Don't worry about what we're supposed
- 19:28Speaker 1: to get married, man, you messed that all up. What
- 19:30Speaker 1: I'm trying to explain you is, dude, you're calling here
- 19:33Speaker 1: on some big bug, which I know she ain't got
- 19:36Speaker 1: nothing to do with. But the sect that you told
- 19:37Speaker 1: me that she was over your house and your bed,
- 19:40Speaker 1: that's over. It's over. Now, you understand what I'm saying.
- 19:43Speaker 1: Now we see get home. I'm gonna deal with that.
- 19:45Speaker 1: You understand what I'm saying. That's gonna get done with.
- 19:47Speaker 1: I'm walking up out of here. But when I leave here,
- 19:49Speaker 1: please believe my next stop is to come find your
- 19:52Speaker 1: prince of all. How did you get the number to
- 19:54Speaker 1: this apartment? That's what I want to know, they doe.
- 19:56Speaker 1: She gave me both numbers, the cell phone number in
- 19:58Speaker 1: the house number told me, you know, if it's an emergency,
- 20:01Speaker 1: call the house. Okay, And this is an emergency. Yeah,
- 20:03Speaker 1: that's an emergency. I got learning another on emergency number,
- 20:08Speaker 1: Learning nine one one. Because when I coming, now, come
- 20:10Speaker 1: on your dog. If you come out on you handle
- 20:12Speaker 1: it or you better call the cops. You understand, what
- 20:14Speaker 1: I'm trying to tell you. Hey, man, do you think
- 20:17Speaker 1: Tommy will pay for the bad bugs? Who is Tommy?
- 20:20Speaker 1: I'm just saying, do you think Tommy will pay for
- 20:23Speaker 1: the bad bug? It's Tommy, Tommy dog nephew Tommy from
- 20:27Speaker 1: the Steve Harby Morning Show. Ernest, you just got bright
- 20:31Speaker 1: by your girl shot niece. Man, y'all, y'all or hey,
- 20:41Speaker 1: it was over. It was over. You understand what I'm
- 20:44Speaker 1: telling you? It count o? Anybody anybody come on? All right, nephew,
- 20:50Speaker 1: thank you. Coming up next, it is asked the Cello.
- 20:54Speaker 1: That's right after this you're listening morning show Coming up
- 20:59Speaker 1: at the top of the hour, and trending entertainment news,
- 21:02Speaker 1: Donald Trump Junior is receiving backlash for selling t shirts
- 21:06Speaker 1: that say guns don't kill people, Alec Baldwin kills people. Wow.
- 21:11Speaker 1: Also another trending news, Banks founder and CEO Sarah Blakeley
- 21:16Speaker 1: really loves her employees. We'll talk about these stories at
- 21:19Speaker 1: the top of the hour, but right now, it is
- 21:21Speaker 1: time for Steve's favorite segment, Ask the CLO. All right, CLO,
- 21:27Speaker 1: chief Love Officer, ready for your love questions. This one
- 21:30Speaker 1: is from Lisa and Chicago Lisa writes, I've been married
- 21:34Speaker 1: for one year and my husband is henpecked. If I
- 21:37Speaker 1: don't do things exactly like his mom does it, he's
- 21:40Speaker 1: all been out of shape. His mother comes by often
- 21:43Speaker 1: and they love to joke about me, and his mother
- 21:46Speaker 1: tries to tell me how to organize my kitchen and
- 21:49Speaker 1: what type of food her son likes. I don't want
- 21:51Speaker 1: to get into any argument with her, so I'm praying
- 21:54Speaker 1: my husband or my father in law intervenes. If not,
- 21:58Speaker 1: should I tell his mom to shut the heat. The
- 22:01Speaker 1: only way to get your husband to intervene is to
- 22:03Speaker 1: make him aware of it. Now, I didn't hear in
- 22:06Speaker 1: the question where you've told your husband that his mama
- 22:10Speaker 1: is in y'all's business too deep and that you really
- 22:14Speaker 1: don't appreciate the jokes. But you are married to a
- 22:17Speaker 1: hen peck man. You're married to a mama's boy, and
- 22:21Speaker 1: it ain't gonna change unless he gets cut from the
- 22:24Speaker 1: apron strings. The best way to cut a man from
- 22:28Speaker 1: the apron strings is to go on and let him
- 22:31Speaker 1: tie herself up with his mama's apron strings and untie
- 22:35Speaker 1: him from yours. In other words, sleep with your mama.
- 22:40Speaker 1: Next question moving on. ClOH Shalida in a Silver Spring says,
- 22:48Speaker 1: I'm a thirty five year old married woman and my
- 22:51Speaker 1: husband is very boring in the bedroom. I try to
- 22:54Speaker 1: put him in various positions and he makes me feel
- 22:57Speaker 1: like I'm a porn star with his comments. We used
- 22:59Speaker 1: to be compatible sexually, but now he's fine with the
- 23:02Speaker 1: basics and the whole ordeal is five minutes or less.
- 23:05Speaker 1: Ja man gets tired of having sex. I grew up
- 23:08Speaker 1: in a strict religious home and my husband is my
- 23:11Speaker 1: first and only. Would sex toys help at all? I
- 23:14Speaker 1: don't know. I can't help you this question right here.
- 23:17Speaker 1: I can't answer that first question. Do men get tired
- 23:20Speaker 1: of sex? That answer is now? That answer is now
- 23:27Speaker 1: not no now in a W with an H on
- 23:31Speaker 1: it now hell Now, Well you won't say Tom, ain't
- 23:38Speaker 1: no way he can handle some toys if he can't
- 23:40Speaker 1: handle these positions, ain't since you've asked, you really can't
- 23:43Speaker 1: bring a suitcase here, as don't coming in and start
- 23:47Speaker 1: cutting stuff on. If he don't want to change positions,
- 23:51Speaker 1: he really ain't gonna want to be changing all these
- 23:53Speaker 1: facial expressions and Star, now take your point. Star, Now
- 23:58Speaker 1: you start pulling out gadgets, right, lady bull, it only
- 24:04Speaker 1: lasts five minutes. Horn on the cobbing its feathers on
- 24:09Speaker 1: the rabbit, big jail, Pop, you can't. I'm just telling you, Morrison,
- 24:16Speaker 1: go ahead. I'm so sad, which says I've been married
- 24:21Speaker 1: for nine years and my wife and I are together.
- 24:23Speaker 1: Were together for months during the pandemic. I saw a
- 24:26Speaker 1: huge decline in her hygiene and figured she was getting depressed.
- 24:30Speaker 1: I'd have her hairstylist come and do her hair, and
- 24:32Speaker 1: I even polished her toes a few times. I finally
- 24:35Speaker 1: figured out that it's not depression. She just doesn't like
- 24:38Speaker 1: to bathe. She still works from home, and she likes
- 24:41Speaker 1: to shower a few times a week. I don't smell her.
- 24:45Speaker 1: I don't smell her, and I don't want to. So
- 24:48Speaker 1: how do I get some soap and water on her
- 24:50Speaker 1: every day? Oh? I don't know. I can't help her here, dog,
- 24:54Speaker 1: I've never had that problem. I will admit this for
- 24:57Speaker 1: the first time. Aucus Steve has never running into that problem,
- 25:01Speaker 1: not with a woman now, friends, my sons. Me As
- 25:06Speaker 1: a boy, yeah, I avoided a bath whenever I could.
- 25:11Speaker 1: I just thought it was a wasted damn time I'm
- 25:14Speaker 1: out here playing. Why would I want to come in
- 25:17Speaker 1: here and wash when my whole goal is to get dirty?
- 25:22Speaker 1: I don't even understand this. So see if you notice,
- 25:25Speaker 1: I've diverted this question back to my childhood because I
- 25:29Speaker 1: got nothing for you. Man, I don't know. I've never
- 25:32Speaker 1: met a woman who's not clean, right, I don't don't
- 25:38Speaker 1: you don't want to, Yeah, but I'll tell you one thing.
- 25:44Speaker 1: It makes you really appreciate who you have in your
- 25:49Speaker 1: life when you see a ladder like this. Thank you
- 25:53Speaker 1: Lord for my girl who loves to take baths anytime
- 25:59Speaker 1: the day. Stephen, I'm going upstairs take a bath, all right, baby,
- 26:04Speaker 1: But guess what I'd rather have that then? When you
- 26:08Speaker 1: gonna take a bath? Man in that running water as
- 26:14Speaker 1: a hit? You know why? Baby? This bad water? You
- 26:24Speaker 1: want it? And what should he do? Steve? Should he
- 26:27Speaker 1: just come out and tell her? I don't know what
- 26:30Speaker 1: he should do, Shelly, I've never had this. I have
- 26:32Speaker 1: no experience at this. CLO don't know, Clo jes don't know.
- 26:38Speaker 1: But well, can I just make a suggestion? Oh? Here
- 26:41Speaker 1: we go. I'm just thinking maybe when y'all go by
- 26:44Speaker 1: the car wash, just say, baby, can you hop out
- 26:46Speaker 1: and go through that first? That's soaping water right there.
- 26:50Speaker 1: We just need to see just let let that brush
- 26:56Speaker 1: come through that. Does something come through me? Yeah? You
- 27:01Speaker 1: need to have some sort of conversation with her, all right?
- 27:03Speaker 1: Moving on, Banita and Charlotte says, I'm a single mother
- 27:08Speaker 1: and my parents helped me out with my daughters so
- 27:10Speaker 1: I can have a dating life. In order for them
- 27:12Speaker 1: to babysit for me, they make me bring the man
- 27:15Speaker 1: to meet them first. I'm twenty nine and I don't
- 27:18Speaker 1: have any friends my age that will babysit, and I
- 27:21Speaker 1: can't afford to pay a sitter. It's cruel for my
- 27:24Speaker 1: parents to treat me like a child, but I have
- 27:26Speaker 1: no other options. It's a turn off for the guys too.
- 27:30Speaker 1: Is there a way to make it less obvious to
- 27:32Speaker 1: the guys I go out with? Why ye ain't the
- 27:35Speaker 1: way around that? You know? And I know your mom
- 27:38Speaker 1: and daddy old call your name, Banita. She's only twenty nine, Bonita,
- 27:50Speaker 1: Nita at twenty nine? You ain't last time I heard that?
- 27:53Speaker 1: Would not that dog? So your mom and daddy is
- 27:57Speaker 1: Herman and Celestine. Now they're sitting at the dope waiting
- 28:03Speaker 1: on Dante to come and meet Herman and Celestine where
- 28:11Speaker 1: look at him? So what you what you do for work?
- 28:16Speaker 1: These is the old people questions. Wheah, so what you
- 28:20Speaker 1: do for work? I'm a computer analysis comprouter? What what? What?
- 28:29Speaker 1: You You ain't want to get into nothing that did
- 28:31Speaker 1: stay with you? Heating it? Now you know? Can it
- 28:38Speaker 1: cause something? You know something you can put your hain't
- 28:41Speaker 1: hang your hat on working on a computer. Pol The
- 28:44Speaker 1: people ain't got no computer. What you're gonna fix? Then
- 28:49Speaker 1: everyone has computer, Sir, Celestine, we got computer, hire Sole
- 28:55Speaker 1: said Celestine, say, we ain't got put We just got Microway.
- 28:58Speaker 1: Can you fix that? Because that out? Thank you, Clo.
- 29:09Speaker 1: Coming up at the top of the hour, we'll have
- 29:11Speaker 1: some entertainment news for you right after this. You're listening
- 29:14Speaker 1: to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Coming up at twenty
- 29:19Speaker 1: minutes after the hour, Master p will be our very
- 29:22Speaker 1: special guest. He's gonna tell us great news. We haven't
- 29:25Speaker 1: heard from him in a minute. He's gonna tell us
- 29:27Speaker 1: about his No Limit Reunion tour. But first, in today's
- 29:31Speaker 1: entertainment news, this is awful. Donald Trump Junior is being
- 29:35Speaker 1: dragged for selling t shirts that say guns don't kill people,
- 29:39Speaker 1: Alec Baldwin kills people. Really. The investigation continues into the
- 29:45Speaker 1: accidental shooting death of Helena Hutchins. It was on the
- 29:48Speaker 1: movie set by which Alec Baldwin was acting. Donald Trump
- 29:54Speaker 1: Junior used her death as a way to get back
- 29:57Speaker 1: at Baldwin. We all remember that Alec Baldwin played the
- 30:00Speaker 1: role of President Trump for years on Saturday Night Live,
- 30:03Speaker 1: and the Trump family doesn't really care for Alec Baldwin.
- 30:07Speaker 1: Um Trump Junior said, screw all of the sanctimony if
- 30:11Speaker 1: the shoe was on the other foot, and then he
- 30:13Speaker 1: went on to say, f him. He's just like his daddy,
- 30:17Speaker 1: ain't he? Yes, you know, man, But you know the
- 30:22Speaker 1: crazy part about this and I'm past it. As as
- 30:27Speaker 1: ignorant as they are. Take our seventy million people wanted
- 30:33Speaker 1: me to be president. Well's just this country, man. We've
- 30:39Speaker 1: made a sad We're making sad statements about ourselves in
- 30:43Speaker 1: this country, really really sad statements about ourselves. I'm sorry, man,
- 30:48Speaker 1: but but let me but let me tell you something though.
- 30:51Speaker 1: Oh I believe him. I believe him. I believe him.
- 30:54Speaker 1: If you tell me that's how you are I believe you.
- 30:58Speaker 1: Oh okay, if you're that ignorant, if you're that racist,
- 31:02Speaker 1: if you're that blatantly openly bigoted and stupid, I have
- 31:07Speaker 1: no choice then to believe you, and thank you for
- 31:11Speaker 1: letting me know. Heads up, man, appreciate it though. That's
- 31:19Speaker 1: it in every election, yeah, come on, Virginia, New Jersey. However,
- 31:24Speaker 1: they continue to ignore the way they really are. And
- 31:29Speaker 1: the only reason I can explain is because that's how
- 31:32Speaker 1: they are. I just can't help but think that's exactly
- 31:36Speaker 1: the way you are. That's the only explanation for it.
- 31:40Speaker 1: If a person keeps showing you who they are and
- 31:42Speaker 1: you keep accepting it and going along with it, that's
- 31:46Speaker 1: you are. That's who you are, and you're cool with it.
- 31:50Speaker 1: So don't tell me you're not racist because you vote
- 31:55Speaker 1: for a racist and you ignore everything. Well, you don't
- 31:58Speaker 1: ignore it. You hear everything he says, but it's power
- 32:01Speaker 1: for the course for you. I'm sorry, boy, that's what
- 32:06Speaker 1: you down with. You're ignoring the fact that he's lying.
- 32:09Speaker 1: You're ignoring the fact that he has no proof. You're
- 32:12Speaker 1: ignoring the fact that this is all a hoax. You
- 32:17Speaker 1: ignore everything he does that goes against the principles of
- 32:20Speaker 1: your constitution and your country, and then you want us
- 32:25Speaker 1: to sit up here and act like it's all right.
- 32:27Speaker 1: I ain't. I ain't say it again. I ain't a kid.
- 32:37Speaker 1: I ain't all right with none of this mess. No
- 32:40Speaker 1: mo man, and I'm calling it like I see it
- 32:43Speaker 1: from here on out. I'm done with it. I'm sick
- 32:46Speaker 1: of the hypocrisy of this country. I'm done sixty four
- 32:51Speaker 1: years of this. I've seen it all. See a man
- 32:53Speaker 1: with the people, don't say I was around with the
- 32:56Speaker 1: no colored water fountains. I was here with the colored
- 33:00Speaker 1: only washrooms. I was here with the go around back.
- 33:03Speaker 1: I was here with the UK eat at this lunch counter.
- 33:06Speaker 1: I was alive for that. We couldn't go downtown and
- 33:11Speaker 1: eat at certain places during certain time. I used to
- 33:13Speaker 1: ride the bus with my mama downtown in Cleveland. I
- 33:17Speaker 1: saw it. You don't tell me. I don't want to
- 33:19Speaker 1: hear it. I'm through with it. Tired of being patient.
- 33:22Speaker 1: Why we got to why we got to keep waiting.
- 33:25Speaker 1: We're tired of y'all today with this racist mess. We're
- 33:29Speaker 1: tired and sick and tired today of you denying voting
- 33:34Speaker 1: rights and acting like you know, we're sick of all listening.
- 33:36Speaker 1: I'm telling you right now, we're voting. We're voting. You
- 33:38Speaker 1: woke us up last time. We're voting. It's it all,
- 33:41Speaker 1: y'all gonna be out. Kemp will not be governor in
- 33:43Speaker 1: the state of Georgia. He won't be not a stay
- 33:48Speaker 1: running ya, don't kill who run against him, stay woke up.
- 33:53Speaker 1: Just paying attention to whoever it is, right right, all right? Well.
- 33:58Speaker 1: In other trending news, A great Boss thanks founder Sarah
- 34:02Speaker 1: blakely is Um. Wow, she really proved how much she
- 34:06Speaker 1: values her employees. Blakely Um surprised them with ten thousand
- 34:11Speaker 1: dollars each. Ten thousand dollars each. Wait, that's not all.
- 34:15Speaker 1: She gave him ten thousand dollars and a pair of
- 34:18Speaker 1: round trip first class tickets to anywhere in the world anywhere.
- 34:24Speaker 1: I'm listening to me, don't get excited about that. As
- 34:26Speaker 1: soon as I get this billion, I'm gonna do the
- 34:29Speaker 1: exact same thing for y'all. I you, yeah, I said,
- 34:35Speaker 1: she the best boss in the world, not along as
- 34:37Speaker 1: Steve working. Exact soon as I get this billion, I'm
- 34:40Speaker 1: doing the exact same thing for y'all. Yay, that's so
- 34:45Speaker 1: good news news. Yeah, I'm telling you say for him
- 34:50Speaker 1: right now. Lord, keep him healthy, Lord, keep his mind,
- 34:53Speaker 1: give me strength. Lord, bless his bank accounts, all of them. Lord.
- 34:59Speaker 1: I'm if you cover him. Father pneumonia, go away, go away, code,
- 35:07Speaker 1: go away, man, We ain't gonna get see. So that's
- 35:14Speaker 1: kind of what happened to her. Blakely recently signed a
- 35:17Speaker 1: billion dollar deal to sell her company, but she's going
- 35:20Speaker 1: to remain a significant shareholder. So how much did she
- 35:23Speaker 1: sell it for? For a billion? She signed a billion
- 35:26Speaker 1: dollar deal? Okay, this radio show right now, it's anybody.
- 35:33Speaker 1: Anybody come over here with half a billion all these
- 35:40Speaker 1: people only shows, all right, Well, thank you for the love.
- 35:53Speaker 1: Coming up a twenty minutes after, we'll talk to Master
- 35:56Speaker 1: pay because he will be our special guest right after this.
- 36:00Speaker 1: You're listening to show. Hey, everybody has promise. We got
- 36:06Speaker 1: special guests this morning. It's a family member man. In
- 36:09Speaker 1: the early nineties, this guest right here created his own
- 36:12Speaker 1: record label, thing No Limit Records dominated the hip hop charts,
- 36:17Speaker 1: with all of his albums and albums on his various
- 36:20Speaker 1: artists on No Limit Record label, and by nineteen ninety eight,
- 36:24Speaker 1: Forms magazine listed him as the tenth highest gross and entertainer,
- 36:28Speaker 1: and to date he is considered one of the wealthiest
- 36:31Speaker 1: and most successful icons in hip hop. In twenty twenty,
- 36:35Speaker 1: he released the No Limit Chronicles documseries on beet and
- 36:39Speaker 1: this year he's launching the No Limit Family Reunion tool.
- 36:43Speaker 1: We're gonna find out about that tour to day. That's
- 36:45Speaker 1: why I here, ladies and gentleman, the legend himself in
- 36:49Speaker 1: the building. Family member, Ladies and gentlemen. That damn master
- 36:54Speaker 1: p morning boys, up, y'all was up? Hey, what's going on? Man?
- 37:02Speaker 1: It's been a long time. Hey, man, let me say
- 37:04Speaker 1: this before we start this. You wanted the dudes man
- 37:07Speaker 1: that I truly say, I right, mind, I really do. Man.
- 37:11Speaker 1: Your work ethic, your grind, your hustle, your ability to
- 37:16Speaker 1: reinvent yourself, and your consistency. I mean, man, you ain't
- 37:22Speaker 1: ever off the landscape completely. You ain't ever out the game.
- 37:28Speaker 1: I've just admired your work, work ethic. Man. I just
- 37:31Speaker 1: think you wanted to want of the real, real cold
- 37:34Speaker 1: catch that come out the South, that to land in
- 37:37Speaker 1: Hill Popp And I just wanted to say that to you, brother,
- 37:40Speaker 1: So thank you a man. I appreciate it. Steve Out
- 37:43Speaker 1: yesterday on Instagram, I recluded when you said about being
- 37:48Speaker 1: in the right environment for your seed to grow, and
- 37:51Speaker 1: it's so two. People don't realize that I had to
- 37:55Speaker 1: lead my environment so my seed could grow. And I
- 37:58Speaker 1: tell people all the time, don't be afraid to change,
- 38:01Speaker 1: grow up and better yourself and even cut off the
- 38:04Speaker 1: bad weeds to get to where you need to grow
- 38:07Speaker 1: so you'll see could grow. So, man, God has blessed
- 38:10Speaker 1: men and my family and all. There's no limit Reunion tour.
- 38:14Speaker 1: It's all about giving our soldiers and soldier rest they
- 38:17Speaker 1: flowers while they're here. You know, life is too short, man,
- 38:20Speaker 1: We're gonna lost so many people. So this reunion tour
- 38:23Speaker 1: is a celebration, is not a concert. Starting in Atlanta
- 38:30Speaker 1: on November thirteen, It's gonna be incredible to Nashville to
- 38:37Speaker 1: South Haven members to Dallas to Houston. And people don't
- 38:42Speaker 1: realize this concert is gonna be so little. We're gonna
- 38:45Speaker 1: relive the nineties. But all the proceeds from this concert
- 38:49Speaker 1: that's going back to help Hurricane Item victims in Louisiana.
- 38:53Speaker 1: People still need water power in Louisiana. So we're doing
- 38:58Speaker 1: this for a great cause and we're gonna turn up
- 39:01Speaker 1: with the Nolan the soldiers. So if you buy a ticket,
- 39:04Speaker 1: is your way of giving back. And I just want
- 39:06Speaker 1: to help my people. Louisiam. Wow. When we come back,
- 39:10Speaker 1: we're gonna talk with the Legend Master P about the tour,
- 39:13Speaker 1: who's on the tour, high came about and all that.
- 39:16Speaker 1: Stay with us, y'all when we come back. We got

- 45:54Speaker 1: It just seemed like every time I mean, I hear
- 45:57Speaker 1: you when you close your door, and at every even
- 46:00Speaker 1: I'm like, why is my oven and my stove coming on?
- 46:03Speaker 1: And I'm talking about my whole kitchen just hunting degrees
- 46:06Speaker 1: in there, but under stove being on like that? Okay,

- 46:12Speaker 1: They're not gonna get to me for a couple of
- 46:14Speaker 1: days now, so I'm not I'm asking you, you're on
- 46:18Speaker 1: mind to not have your lights on until they come
- 46:21Speaker 1: get this pix. Okay, So you asking me not to
- 46:25Speaker 1: turn on my lights for three or four days, and
- 46:28Speaker 1: you know, to sit in the dark. Well, I'm just
- 46:30Speaker 1: saying it's only gonna be for a couple of days.
- 46:31Speaker 1: I know it's a little bit of an inconvenience, but
- 46:33Speaker 1: I mean, I can't be over here in the house
- 46:35Speaker 1: you know, damn about to burn down. Are you listening
- 46:38Speaker 1: to what you're saying? You're asking me to sit in
- 46:40Speaker 1: the dark. You know I got a baby. I can't
- 46:42Speaker 1: sit in the dark. Okay. I mean, y'all have any
- 46:44Speaker 1: camels or something y'all can work with or something like that. Um,
- 46:47Speaker 1: I have to give my baby food milk. I mean, really,
- 46:51Speaker 1: you want me to sit in the dark, and you
- 46:53Speaker 1: don't want me to turn anything on. You know, I
- 46:55Speaker 1: gotta feed my baby. I understand, and and and in
- 46:58Speaker 1: much respect to you in your ch much respect. But
- 47:01Speaker 1: what I'm trying to explain to you is, I mean,
- 47:03Speaker 1: we have to look at the big hazard here. The
- 47:05Speaker 1: bigger hazard is is that I'm over here with fire on. Okay,
- 47:09Speaker 1: First of all, where you getting this wee from? I
- 47:12Speaker 1: am I involved in your situation. I am not the
- 47:15Speaker 1: one that's going on house. Your life is patched in
- 47:17Speaker 1: some kind of way to my oven and stove. Okay,
- 47:20Speaker 1: But I still I don't have anything to do with that.
- 47:23Speaker 1: You know, you need to call management whatever. But I
- 47:27Speaker 1: don't have anything to any with that. And I want
- 47:29Speaker 1: to know, how do you know when I get home
- 47:32Speaker 1: and turn on my lights? I mean, like, are you
- 47:33Speaker 1: looking at my window or something? Are you a peeping tongs?
- 47:35Speaker 1: Do I need to call nine one one? You don't
- 47:38Speaker 1: need to call nobody on me. Now, what we need
- 47:40Speaker 1: to get somebody over here and fix this other into
- 47:42Speaker 1: the stove. That's what we got to get done. But
- 47:44Speaker 1: until the end, right now, you can't turn them lights off.
- 47:48Speaker 1: Oh I'm turning on my life. I mean, I know
- 47:51Speaker 1: you ain't trying to regulate what I do in my house.
- 47:53Speaker 1: For listen, I'm gonna tell you just like this here,
- 47:56Speaker 1: I'm gonna need you to keep them lights off until
- 47:58Speaker 1: meeting this get over here into now. If if if
- 48:02Speaker 1: I see this stove come on and all these our
- 48:04Speaker 1: eyes on this on this stove come on, then I'm
- 48:08Speaker 1: going to come over there and we're gonna directify the problem.
- 48:10Speaker 1: But I cannot have just coming on now. I'm not no,
- 48:15Speaker 1: I'm not, no, I'm not. I'm telling you not to
- 48:18Speaker 1: turn the lights off. That's what I'm asking you to do. Well,
- 48:21Speaker 1: I can't sit in the dark and I'm gonna turn
- 48:22Speaker 1: on my lights. So you know you're gonna have to
- 48:25Speaker 1: deal with it. No, I'm not going to deal with it.
- 48:27Speaker 1: You're gonna have to actually turn the lights off. Now,
- 48:29Speaker 1: I understand. Do you have somewhere you can go stay?
- 48:32Speaker 1: To me? Do you have somewhere you can go stay?
- 48:34Speaker 1: I'm not leaving my house. I don't have a problem.
- 48:36Speaker 1: You and the one with the problem. I'm not going
- 48:39Speaker 1: to leave here and then you turn it on and
- 48:40Speaker 1: then over here and knock on my door. You think
- 48:43Speaker 1: you see firing your stove. You're gonna see some fire.
- 48:45Speaker 1: I can show you some fire. Okay, listen, I'm trying
- 48:48Speaker 1: to with as calmly as I can. Okay, I'm trying
- 48:50Speaker 1: to work with me calmly. Okay. The only thing you're
- 48:52Speaker 1: doing right now is you're trying to tell me what
- 48:54Speaker 1: to do and run my household. Okay. If you're not
- 48:57Speaker 1: gonna work with me, then this is what I'm gonna do.
- 48:59Speaker 1: Already found out where the breaker is. I just go
- 49:02Speaker 1: and just turn all the power off so you don't
- 49:04Speaker 1: have your powwall it off. Wait a minute, what num?

- 55:54Speaker 1: been knowing this female for over twenty years and into
- 55:57Speaker 1: our early thirties, we went to the club on weekends
- 56:00Speaker 1: and messed with a lot of high profile men. I
- 56:03Speaker 1: got older and wiser, so I left the fast life,
- 56:06Speaker 1: and now I'm in a great relationship with a nerdy
- 56:08Speaker 1: man that I loved dearly. I dated hustlers and crave
- 56:12Speaker 1: the fast money back in the day, and so did
- 56:15Speaker 1: my girlfriends. One of my girlfriends in particular, saw that
- 56:18Speaker 1: I was in a steady relationship and she decided she
- 56:21Speaker 1: wanted a nerdy guy too. I set up a blind
- 56:25Speaker 1: date for her with my boyfriend's brother. I had just
- 56:28Speaker 1: met my boyfriend's brother and I didn't know he was
- 56:30Speaker 1: separated from his wife because he was living with my
- 56:33Speaker 1: boyfriend at the time. So of course he and my
- 56:37Speaker 1: friend hit it off because she's a master manipulator and
- 56:41Speaker 1: played right into his nerdiness. My friend would drive this
- 56:44Speaker 1: man crazy sexually, and we would hear him hollering from
- 56:48Speaker 1: down the hall. Then his wife came to the house
- 56:51Speaker 1: one day, and I felt bad. She was sweet and
- 56:55Speaker 1: said she was going to fight for her marriage. Back
- 56:58Speaker 1: in the day, it would not have faced me, but
- 57:00Speaker 1: I like this woman. I didn't tell my friend that
- 57:03Speaker 1: the brother was married because it's not my business and
- 57:05Speaker 1: I didn't want to be messy. The brother is working
- 57:09Speaker 1: things out with his wife and we go on double
- 57:11Speaker 1: dates often. Then after the dates, my friend comes over
- 57:15Speaker 1: and pleases him all night. My friend is in it
- 57:19Speaker 1: for the gifts and money, so I was letting her
- 57:21Speaker 1: do her thing. I was really trying to stay out
- 57:23Speaker 1: of it. But the other day my boyfriend's brother told
- 57:27Speaker 1: me he is glad I hooked him up with my
- 57:29Speaker 1: hood rat friend. It hurt me so bad that now
- 57:33Speaker 1: I think I should tell both his wife and my friend.
- 57:35Speaker 1: What's up? Do I owe it to my friend to
- 57:38Speaker 1: tell her what this guy thinks of her? Wow, well,
- 57:42Speaker 1: you definitely shouldn't tell his wife. But if you do
- 57:45Speaker 1: tell your friend, you know, I got to ask you this,
- 57:48Speaker 1: What does she care what he thinks of her? You
- 57:51Speaker 1: said yourself, she's only in it for the gifts and
- 57:53Speaker 1: the money. If you tell her anything, it should be
- 57:56Speaker 1: that he's got a wife that he's decided to get
- 57:58Speaker 1: back with. I mean, I doubt if she'll care about
- 58:01Speaker 1: that either, because you seem to be the only one
- 58:04Speaker 1: who's changed from how you used to be. With men.
- 58:07Speaker 1: Your friend hasn't, and you didn't say she had. I
- 58:10Speaker 1: would encourage you, though, to tell her that she's married,
- 58:13Speaker 1: because if the wife does find out, that's gonna hurt her.
- 58:16Speaker 1: It's gonna mess her up. She's trying to fight for
- 58:18Speaker 1: her marriage. And you said you liked this woman and
- 58:21Speaker 1: she's sweet and everything. And I think you know, if
- 58:26Speaker 1: this continues and the wife finds out about her husband,
- 58:30Speaker 1: the wife is gonna blame you or find some kind
- 58:32Speaker 1: of fault with you because the other woman is your friend.
- 58:36Speaker 1: She's your friend. You brought her into this situation. That's
- 58:39Speaker 1: why it is your business. People kill me with that
- 58:43Speaker 1: isn't how my business. I'm not in it. But you're
- 58:47Speaker 1: the one that set up the blind date, you don't,
- 58:50Speaker 1: you know, try to distance yourself now. As her friend,
- 58:53Speaker 1: you should be the one to tell her. Your boyfriend
- 58:56Speaker 1: and his brother obviously care nothing about her brother. Man
- 58:59Speaker 1: can could have told her himself, but they think she's
- 59:03Speaker 1: a hood rat. So, UM, I guess maybe that means
- 59:05Speaker 1: she doesn't need to know since she's just coming in
- 59:07Speaker 1: for the gifts and you know they have that arrangement.
- 59:11Speaker 1: But um, you know you're her friend. You know her best.
- 59:15Speaker 1: So how do you think she's gonna take the news?
- 59:17Speaker 1: Will she even care? How to give some money more
- 59:19Speaker 1: important to her and to you? I say, um, it's
- 59:25Speaker 1: not a good look when you've changed your life around
- 59:27Speaker 1: and you're still hanging out with the same people you
- 59:29Speaker 1: used to do dirt with. Okay, not a good look, Steve. Wow.
- 59:37Speaker 1: It's a few things to unpack in this matter. First
- 59:39Speaker 1: of all, Shellley your response. I'm in agreement, though, let
- 59:43Speaker 1: me just get that out the way. So that was
- 59:45Speaker 1: an excellent response. You covered some things I would have covered,
- 59:48Speaker 1: very very proud of it. So it's a lot to unpack.
- 59:54Speaker 1: But of course, you know me, I opened my box
- 59:59Speaker 1: is a little bit different. So I'm gonna point out
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: a couple of things that said in the letter that's
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: not written in the letter, but's written in the letter,
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: but you have to know it to say it. That's
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: what I'm here for. I'll be back to say what's
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: really in the letter that she didn't want to say,
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: all right, at twenty three minutes after You'll be back
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: with the strawberry Leather's subject my brother's boyfriend, my boyfriend's
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: brother's girlfriend and wife. That's the subject. We'll be back
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: to get back into it right after this. You're listening
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, come on, Steve, let's
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: recap today's strawberry letters. Subject my boyfriend's brother's girlfriend and wife. Well,
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: this is an interesting letter. This lady's been knowing this
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: other female for over twenty years and all up intoday,
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: early thirties. They used to go to the clubs on
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: weekends and they mess with a lot of high profile men.
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: This is the wrong definition of what these guys are.
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: High profile me in our celebrities, athletes. The dudes you
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: mess with are not high profile. They're high income earners,
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: but they're not high profile. They have to stay under
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: the radar because of the business they're in. And I'll
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: show you why I got older and wiser, so I
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: left the fast life and I'm now in a great
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: relationship with the nerdy man that I love dealing. Congratulations,
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: young lady, you've grown up. I would like to congratulate
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: you for this. I dated hustlers. Now let's get back
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: to high profile. Hustlers are not high profile people. They're
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: high income earners. High profile once again, are celebrities, ball players, politicians,
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: hustlers are not high profile. They big in the club,
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: but after that they get low low. Okay, so you
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: dated hustlers and craved the fast money back in the day.
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: Basketball players and celebrities and politicians don't make fast money.
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: So we're dealing with dope boys here, folks. Let's just
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: understand that. And I craved the fast money back in
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: the day, and so did my girlfriends. So y'all used
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: to play the game with hustlers. That was the life.
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: Everybody changes. One of my girlfriends particularly saw that I
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: was in a state of relationship. She decided she wanted
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: a nerdy guy too. Hey, all right, so you're starting
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: to influence your friends. This is going great. I set
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: up a blind date for her with my boyfriend's brother.
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: I just met my boyfriend's brother and I didn't know
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: he was separated from his wife because he was living
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: with my boyfriend at the time. Understood no problem here.
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: So of course he and my friend hit it off
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: because she is a master manipulator and played right into
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: his nerdiness. She know what to do. She'd been playing
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: with hustlers, fast money boys. Boys playing with the nerd
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: ain't nothing. He ain't even got the tools. My friend
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: would drive this man crazy sexually, and we could hear
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: him holling from down the hall. So little nerd down
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: they're just getting turned out all the way. He just
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: in the hill down here, holland he don't know what's
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: happening to hill. She doing dope. Boy moves on a
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: computer tech boy. She doing good stuff to the silly
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: cone valley boy, and he don't know what, dude, He
- 1:03:36Speaker 1: just down the hall, Holly. Then his wife came to
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: the house one day and I felt bad. That's because
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: you've changed, young lady. She was sweet and said she
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: was gonna fight for her marriage now. Back in the day,
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: or I would not have phased me, but I liked
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: this woman. You know why I wouldn't have faced you
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: back in the day because you was different. But you
- 1:03:53Speaker 1: changed now. And once again, congratulations. Everybody changes, and I'm
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: glad to see this city, young woman. I didn't tell
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: my friend that her brother was married because it's not
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: my business, and I didn't want to be messy like
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: Sherley said, Well, it is your business because you introduced him.
- 1:04:09Speaker 1: They wouldn't even have no business if it wasn't for you.
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: You is the reason he down the hall, Holly, you're
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: the whole reason he downed there, and you knew you
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: had turned him on to a master manipulator. And she
- 1:04:22Speaker 1: knew how to play on his nerdiness because she knew
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: how to play on hustlers and dope boy. So now,
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: because it's not my business, I didn't want to be messy.
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: The brother is working things out with his wife and
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: we go on double dates often. Then after the date,
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: my friend comes over and pleases him all night. My
- 1:04:41Speaker 1: friend is in it for the gifts and money, so
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: I was letting her do her thing. So you know
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: what this is right, because it's always been that way
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: with her. She hasn't graduated you have, but you still
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: associating with her. I was really trying to stay out
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: of it. Once again, that's an unbelievable statement when you
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: the whole reason it began. So now you on a
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: bag out of it. The other day, my boyfriend's brother
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: told me he's glad I hooked him up with my
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: hood rat friend. It hurt me so bad. Why I
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: hurt you? Why you hurt? Because I think I should
- 1:05:19Speaker 1: tell both his wife and my friend who's up? Do
- 1:05:21Speaker 1: I owe it to my friend to tell her what
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: this guy thinks of her. It's how she acted. You
- 1:05:28Speaker 1: can't get mad at this guy for calling what he sees.
- 1:05:32Speaker 1: He knows she in it for the gifts and the
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: flashiness and the things. He knows why she down the
- 1:05:39Speaker 1: hallway and she only come over late at night. That's
- 1:05:44Speaker 1: a hood rat move. So now you're mad because he
- 1:05:48Speaker 1: does said that about your friend. But you set your friend.
- 1:05:52Speaker 1: I'm knowing this what your friend to see. You can't.
- 1:05:57Speaker 1: You can't grow and keep the same way. You can't
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: grow and keep the same friends. In order to grow,
- 1:06:05Speaker 1: you have to go. I'm sorry. Your friend is what
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: it is, and he called it just like is happening
- 1:06:11Speaker 1: to him. But do not tell his man's wife. And
- 1:06:14Speaker 1: what you should do is tell the brother, Hey, look,
- 1:06:17Speaker 1: tell your man I'd have met his wife. He needed
- 1:06:20Speaker 1: to leave my friend alone and tell your friend to
- 1:06:22Speaker 1: quit coming over here trinking. That's what you need to do.
- 1:06:25Speaker 1: But do not tell the wife so they can work
- 1:06:27Speaker 1: it out, right, all right, Steve, thank you. Post comment

- 1:07:15Speaker 1: younger you thought you'd never do. Now, let me say
- 1:07:17Speaker 1: it for me. For me, is getting a good eight
- 1:07:21Speaker 1: to nine, maybe twelve hours asleep every night and we'll
- 1:07:26Speaker 1: planet in advance. Yes, I don't know nothing that break
- 1:07:32Speaker 1: into my sleep as soon as the sun start going down.
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: Calling Ferreras, you're done sticking forward? Oh no, I'm already
- 1:07:40Speaker 1: in the bed. I was in the bed about three fifteen.
- 1:07:45Speaker 1: But what is it that that now that we older
- 1:07:48Speaker 1: where our parents age when we was like, oh they're
- 1:07:50Speaker 1: so old. But now I got to get about eight
- 1:07:54Speaker 1: hours asleep and we'll wake up in the middle of
- 1:07:57Speaker 1: the night to go to the bathroom drinking water. You
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: know what I'm saying. But what do y'all do now
- 1:08:02Speaker 1: that you oh that you thought? I ain't never man,
- 1:08:04Speaker 1: I used to party all night long with the bulls
- 1:08:07Speaker 1: in eighty five tells okay, so I got I got
- 1:08:13Speaker 1: one for you, sir. I didn't never think this Sunday evening,
- 1:08:17Speaker 1: I got to watch sixty Minutes. I had no idea.
- 1:08:22Speaker 1: I used to hate walking in the house with my
- 1:08:24Speaker 1: mom and then watching sixty minutes. Now I got to
- 1:08:26Speaker 1: tune in and see what's happening in the world. As
- 1:08:28Speaker 1: soon as the clock start ticket sooner clock letting the
- 1:08:31Speaker 1: style Scott Pellett. You know they'll be in that bowl garden,
- 1:08:35Speaker 1: people kicking indoors, embarrassing people on their jobs. Man, I
- 1:08:39Speaker 1: love sixty shout out to keep get my check, Hey,
- 1:08:43Speaker 1: I let you care. I now sit on the sofa
- 1:08:49Speaker 1: with a woman tucked under my arm, watching something on
- 1:08:53Speaker 1: TV that I have absolutely no damn interesting, no damn
- 1:09:09Speaker 1: And watch the whole thing. And do you get interested? Steve?
- 1:09:12Speaker 1: Do you get interested? I try to be you know,
- 1:09:15Speaker 1: some of it makes you interested, and you find yourself
- 1:09:17Speaker 1: asking questions he's something I do now anything I've been doing.
- 1:09:22Speaker 1: Paying the whole bill at the restaurant what used to be, Yeah,
- 1:09:27Speaker 1: it used to be. I'm paying my half and we
- 1:09:29Speaker 1: just have to talk talk about bill. I pay all
- 1:09:34Speaker 1: my bills now for they call as soon as I
- 1:09:39Speaker 1: get them stayed. As soon as I get paid the
- 1:09:43Speaker 1: whole thing. They called me. You want us to cash this? Yeah,
- 1:09:52Speaker 1: thank you, thank you so much. The hour, we're going
- 1:09:56Speaker 1: to the phones to check Steve Harvey's voicemail right after
- 1:10:00Speaker 1: you're listening Harty Morning Show. All right, Steven, it's time
- 1:10:06Speaker 1: to go to the phones and check your voicemail. You

- 1:10:13Speaker 1: Here we go. Calling number one is from pine Bluff, Arkansas.
- 1:10:18Speaker 1: See what's happy? Man calling from pime Bloof, Arkansas. Beat
- 1:10:22Speaker 1: Man one three. Hey, got a question, man, say if
- 1:10:26Speaker 1: you got married and your wife email had her and
- 1:10:31Speaker 1: her name minute and when you got married, she still
- 1:10:36Speaker 1: using don't you think that's a problem. Let me know, Yeah,
- 1:10:42Speaker 1: straight out of pine Bluff. First of all, thank you
- 1:10:44Speaker 1: for calling and listening to the almighty station down there
- 1:10:47Speaker 1: in pine Bluff. Your damn right, it's a problem. His
- 1:10:51Speaker 1: name can't show up at nothing coming on this hill
- 1:10:54Speaker 1: house up in here. It can't come on the email.
- 1:10:58Speaker 1: It can't come on none of the many. It can't.
- 1:11:01Speaker 1: If his son was in there, his name got to go.
- 1:11:05Speaker 1: Can't nothing mail come up in here? Off for him?
- 1:11:09Speaker 1: Is it a problem? Yes, it's a damn problem. Get
- 1:11:12Speaker 1: yourself a new email, send it out. But what you're
- 1:11:15Speaker 1: not fitting to do is your ex be up in
- 1:11:18Speaker 1: my face. Your ex can't come in my house, no
- 1:11:20Speaker 1: kind of way. The new came up in hell. If
- 1:11:23Speaker 1: you want the old, can go on, get him back.
- 1:11:25Speaker 1: But I'm the new. Can it can't happen in here? Unequivocally,
- 1:11:29Speaker 1: that is a damn problem. And I'm saying it right now,
- 1:11:32Speaker 1: and I'm using a little ain'try tone to it because
- 1:11:35Speaker 1: I'd be mad if I was you and for her
- 1:11:37Speaker 1: not to understand that it's something wrong with her. I'm
- 1:11:39Speaker 1: gonna change my email. I'll tell you where it. Let
- 1:11:43Speaker 1: it ring on this computer again, James and tearing at Yahoo. Doctor. Nah,
- 1:11:53Speaker 1: you got to get a new email. That's easy to fix.
- 1:11:56Speaker 1: All right, Let's go to trust the calling number two,
- 1:11:59Speaker 1: Trust the tisty. This is Teresa. I just want to
- 1:12:03Speaker 1: say your show has really helped me mental depression, helped
- 1:12:07Speaker 1: me with my mom. You guys are great. I don't
- 1:12:11Speaker 1: care when anybody says you are entertaining and uplifting. Oh
- 1:12:15Speaker 1: Freddy Old all your step, thank you, Steve Nice. Well
- 1:12:22Speaker 1: you know I mean listen, that's what we're here for.
- 1:12:25Speaker 1: We are here to give you that uplifting moment. Look,
- 1:12:27Speaker 1: you get enough of the news. We're not a news station.
- 1:12:31Speaker 1: We have really four great comedic minds on this show,
- 1:12:37Speaker 1: all with different angles of comedy. And for us not
- 1:12:41Speaker 1: to use it as a waste of time because no
- 1:12:43Speaker 1: other morning show has that. We have working comedians on
- 1:12:46Speaker 1: this show. Three of them are presently touring. Why would
- 1:12:49Speaker 1: we not take advantage of that. So listen, this show
- 1:12:52Speaker 1: is geared to give you a break from the monotony
- 1:12:55Speaker 1: of this world, and we're gonna get back into that
- 1:12:58Speaker 1: more and more and more. Laughter is essential. It's great medicine.
- 1:13:04Speaker 1: It releases and dolphins in your body, and you feel
- 1:13:07Speaker 1: better when you laugh. Now, look, when it's time to
- 1:13:09Speaker 1: give you the important news, we're gonna be that for you.
- 1:13:12Speaker 1: When it's time to give you the information you need,
- 1:13:14Speaker 1: we're gonna be that for you. But the rest of
- 1:13:17Speaker 1: the time. We're in here for something else. I come
- 1:13:22Speaker 1: to work. I try to get you to spit stuff
- 1:13:26Speaker 1: out your mouth on your window, in your car, yes,
- 1:13:31Speaker 1: on your computer screen. That's my whole goal. To spit
- 1:13:35Speaker 1: on people in the car. We've all done that, to
- 1:13:40Speaker 1: have some people on your job saying, hey, hey, all
- 1:13:43Speaker 1: that damn no, what is you're doing? You want them
- 1:13:46Speaker 1: what timing? I want them to pee on themselves where
- 1:13:49Speaker 1: they got to turn around and go back home and
- 1:13:51Speaker 1: change that not what I'm trying. Yeah, we wanted to
- 1:13:55Speaker 1: laugh so hard on this show that you forget to
- 1:13:57Speaker 1: take the baby to school. Now you and the baby
- 1:13:59Speaker 1: both at work. We don't care. We don't long as laugh. Don't.
- 1:14:06Speaker 1: Ignorance is the key. Yeah, all right, man, that's what
- 1:14:11Speaker 1: we want straight to. We're not apologizing for it. The

- 1:20:03Speaker 1: like I'm sinna be off. Yeah, hey, y'all, so check
- 1:20:11Speaker 1: this out. Me and the crew was talking and I
- 1:20:14Speaker 1: just want to share something with you. Um. In my
- 1:20:17Speaker 1: closing remarks, listen to this, Opportunities abound everywhere nowadays. Now
- 1:20:27Speaker 1: listen to me before you take the Steve, what opportunities.
- 1:20:30Speaker 1: I don't see nothing happening COVID and did this and
- 1:20:33Speaker 1: I've been down for a year. They don't seem like
- 1:20:35Speaker 1: nothing out that anybody hid it as a hiring for
- 1:20:38Speaker 1: you to stop stop, I said, opportunities abound everywhere in
- 1:20:46Speaker 1: spite of COVID, in spite of all the companies losing
- 1:20:51Speaker 1: of in spite of all the jobs that's gone, do
- 1:20:55Speaker 1: you realize that are people still being blessed during this time.
- 1:20:59Speaker 1: The some people who can tell you some incredible stories.
- 1:21:03Speaker 1: Now you can be one of those people. If you
- 1:21:06Speaker 1: open up your eyes to receive. See instead of opening
- 1:21:11Speaker 1: your eyes to point out what's wrong. Just think, if
- 1:21:16Speaker 1: you open up your eyes to possibilities. See, they're your eyes.
- 1:21:21Speaker 1: You get to control what you look at. Now you
- 1:21:25Speaker 1: can look for everything that's wrong, or you can look
- 1:21:28Speaker 1: for things that are good. It's up to you. But
- 1:21:32Speaker 1: opportunities abound everywhere, but you got to open your eyes
- 1:21:36Speaker 1: to it. Listen, folks, me and the crew was talking
- 1:21:40Speaker 1: off air, and I'm just telling you, man, God is
- 1:21:44Speaker 1: in the blessing business. God is in the recovery business.
- 1:21:49Speaker 1: God is in the help you get your life together business.
- 1:21:52Speaker 1: God is in the forgiving business. God is God is
- 1:21:56Speaker 1: in there. You can do it business, but you have
- 1:22:00Speaker 1: to make a step, you know. Look, you can be
- 1:22:03Speaker 1: all the Christian you want to and apply all the faith,
- 1:22:06Speaker 1: but faith with our works is dead. You've got to
- 1:22:09Speaker 1: do something. Listen to me. If nothing is happening in
- 1:22:14Speaker 1: your life, do yourself one favor and ask yourself, what
- 1:22:18Speaker 1: are you doing about that? If there's nothing shaken, nothing popping,
- 1:22:25Speaker 1: nothing happening in your life. Just simply ask yourself, what
- 1:22:28Speaker 1: are you doing. I can assure you you're doing nothing now.
- 1:22:34Speaker 1: I ain't talking about what you're thinking about. I'm talking
- 1:22:37Speaker 1: about what are you doing. Listen, y'all, it takes some effort.
- 1:22:43Speaker 1: God will bless you, but you got to give him
- 1:22:45Speaker 1: something to bless. God can put his finger on it,
- 1:22:48Speaker 1: but you gotta give him something to touch. God can
- 1:22:50Speaker 1: move mountains, but you gotta have one. Man. Don't just
- 1:22:54Speaker 1: be sitting out on flat ground too. I ain't nothing
- 1:22:56Speaker 1: happening with me. You're not doing anything. It's really simple,
- 1:23:00Speaker 1: and I ain't coming down on you, and I hope
- 1:23:02Speaker 1: you don't take it that way. I'm just trying to
- 1:23:03Speaker 1: be encouraging that opportunities are bound everywhere, but you got
- 1:23:07Speaker 1: to look for him. Open your eyes to possibilities, and
- 1:23:11Speaker 1: don't just have your eyes talking about what's wrong. Stop
- 1:23:14Speaker 1: going around showing talking about what's wrong. Oh woe is me? Yeah?
- 1:23:18Speaker 1: Oh whoa is everybody? If that's how you're gonna look
- 1:23:21Speaker 1: at it, But come on, y'all, things change when you
- 1:23:26Speaker 1: change your attitude. Its success starts in the mind. It
- 1:23:32Speaker 1: starts in the mind. You know, Sheryl was on the
- 1:23:36Speaker 1: radio to day joking about, you know, being old and
- 1:23:39Speaker 1: got to get that ten twelve hours sleep? You know,
- 1:23:43Speaker 1: I know she was just joking because I know Sheryl
- 1:23:45Speaker 1: Underwood's work ethic. That girl ain't sleeping or where twelve
- 1:23:48Speaker 1: hours that girl on the hop to hustle in the grind?
- 1:23:51Speaker 1: That's a joke. But when you sleep, sleep is good
- 1:23:54Speaker 1: for you because sleep allows you to dream. But you
- 1:23:58Speaker 1: only make dreams come true when you awake. So it
- 1:24:02Speaker 1: just stands to reason to me, whatever dreams you haven't,
- 1:24:06Speaker 1: to make them come true, you have to be awake.
- 1:24:09Speaker 1: So now which one to make more sense to you?
- 1:24:11Speaker 1: Sleeping or get up? I mean, if you have the dream,
- 1:24:14Speaker 1: you got to get up to make the dream come true,
- 1:24:17Speaker 1: because if you stay asleep, all you're gonna do is
- 1:24:19Speaker 1: keep dreaming. You got to put forth an effort, man,
- 1:24:23Speaker 1: and the effort has to come from you. And it's
- 1:24:25Speaker 1: up to you, it really, really is. It's not up
- 1:24:28Speaker 1: to anyone else. You can change from the prison. I've
- 1:24:32Speaker 1: seen it done. I can't tell you how many times
- 1:24:37Speaker 1: it's people in prison changing, because change happens in the mind.
- 1:24:43Speaker 1: It's people who become better people when they get out.
- 1:24:46Speaker 1: It's people who become better people in there. They decided
- 1:24:51Speaker 1: to change to be a better person. Now if they
- 1:24:53Speaker 1: can do it, what's your excuse? You're free? Are you
- 1:24:57Speaker 1: kidding me? You're free? You have no excuse. Once again
- 1:25:02Speaker 1: before I close, If you're sitting in your life and
- 1:25:06Speaker 1: nothing is happening, nothing is going on, nothing is moving,
- 1:25:10Speaker 1: nothing is popping. I guarantee you if you look at
- 1:25:14Speaker 1: yourself closely, it's only because you're doing nothing. What are
- 1:25:19Speaker 1: you doing? Time is ticking, It waits on. No man,
- 1:25:23Speaker 1: the clock is moving. It never stops. What are you
- 1:25:27Speaker 1: going to do with the rest of your day, the
- 1:25:30Speaker 1: rest of your week, the rest of your year, Get
- 1:25:34Speaker 1: a plan and start moving towards it, man, Because opportunities
- 1:25:39Speaker 1: are bound everywhere. You just got to open your eyes
- 1:25:42Speaker 1: and see them, because they are right there. But when
- 1:25:45Speaker 1: you see them, you got to make a move. Those
- 1:25:48Speaker 1: of my closing remarks today. For all Steve Harvey contests,
